"Never Again"

Very bad experience at this place. No warning that security door on side was inoperable and inner door slammed when you went through it. No warning rooms were being updated or needed updating. Room was outdated and drab and not as represented on internet ad. Furniture was scratched and worn. Windows were filthy. Elevator was loud and jerky. Packed up within an hour of arriving and went to Holiday Inn Express down the street. It was less expensive and secure more there. Asked manager and owner for a refund since we had not cancelled but were not going to stay in a hotel with unsecured side door and that was misrepresented as being modern and updated and were denied. Never again Best Western - adios forever.

Thank you for your review; however we feel as if they are completely unreasonable, invalid and inaccurate. Safety is our main concern at our hotel and we take pride in knowing that we are one the most secure hotels in the area with our 24 hour surveillance, 24 hour onsite staff as well hourly parking lot patrol by the Cheyenne police department. You complained to corporate that the front door remained opened at all times. Of course the front door remains open, we are are 24 hour hotel. Our side doors were damaged by guests who propped the door open and hit the door with their luggage. Unfortunately for us, it happened to be on the windiest day Cheyenne had experienced in awhile with 70-80mph wind gusts and when the bag pulled the door open, the wind took it and ripped the door out of the frame and shifted the whole door frame. Again, unfortunately for us, we are the mercy at delayed shipments times; however while we await new parts and a new door and frame, we are doing our best to secure the area. The elevator makes regular elevator noises and nothing more. We have our elevators inspected every month to comply with local fire safety regulations and have not had any issues reported. You complained to corporate that the elevator was to small; however, we can fit three large luggage carts with people in there. As to your complaint about pictures being different, there is no difference in our pictures online and what we have to offer except for a blue decorative blanket which goes across the beds that guests can ask for if they would like extra blankets as we had to remove them for Covid related reasons. We are not remodeling right now and only in the process of obtaining all materials to do so after the summer rush. Your room was fully inspected upon your departure and we found one scratch on the desk that looks to have been caused by luggage. This is general wear and tear at any hotel. You complained to corporate the sofa looked like had been sat on. Isn't a sofa meant to be sat on? Windows are filthy because we only clean the outside windows once a month if weather permits. The dirty windows that you are explaining are simply due to everyday natural elements. We did everything we could to offer you every possible remedy and explanation to you. Your choice to leave is simply your choice!! We hope you have a better experience elsewhere.

"Decently cleaned, otherwise, it's old building"

Someone needs to grease those elevator doors. They scream for it. It will, also, help to fix those side doors, which are unlocked 24/7. Typical problems for the old building used by management to generate profit. At the moments, building can be loud or quiet. Depend on your luck, more than anything else. It has hot water.

Unfortunately, we had a guest who did not have their key and broke our door to get in. Motel was clean and quiet, but check in and girl running front desk was Rude and very unhelpful and not very professional. Probably will never stay here again do to the experience I had with staff at check in

It's an older building but the rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The beds are a bit hard. If you're sensitive to noise ask for room away from the freeway as it was quite noisy. Everything in the room worked. Our only problem was with the side door, which has no delay and instantly closes very hard and fast and ended it up hitting my husband in the back. Other than that it was great!

The furniture was chewed up the carpet was nasty the bedding looked like it wasn't washed and looked old room needed lots of up grades the price was to high it's not a 100 dollar a night hotel more like a 49 dollar a night hotel

We are conflicted right now as your previous review stated that nothing was wrong with the room and you never brought up any issues or concerns to the front desk. The only issue you had was loud kids and a dog barking and even with that, nothing was brought up to front desk or management to be able to fix any issues or concerns on your part!! Unfortunately, there seems to be another issue that management will be happy to discuss with you if so wish to contact them. We understand we are dated property but we take pride in knowing we are the cleanest hotel in the area. Next time you stay at a hotel, please remember it is imperative to that you bring up any issues or concerns immediately to staff member's.

Bed was decent comfort level, bedding was great. Everything looked brand new. The room was clean. The air conditioner wasn't cold and the internet didn't work (the wifi signal aka router was great but there was zero internet and the TV guide didn't work either.

no compassion for an unfortunate mistake. I wrecked my semi and inadvertently reserved my room at the wrong Best Western (the other Best Western in Cheyenne is walking distance from the Volvo truck dealership where my wrecked truck was towed). I've stayed in Best Westerns for 35 years and I'm an Elite member in their Rewards Club. Doesn't seem to matter to SureStay!

I stayed here for two nights while on business. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the breakfast was pretty bleak both mornings. I'm not a fan of the fake microwave scrambled egg product they serve up. An option for a fresh fried egg or an omlette would be amazing.

"Surprising older facility"

This is a well maintained older hotel. The staff greeted us with smiles and all were friendly. The all day coffee bar is a nice accommodation. The lady attending the breakfast actually came around and asked folks if they wanted anything else from the breakfast bar before she closed for the morning!!! Being an older facility, it does have some blemishes; but, nothing that would keep us from staying there again. The price for the hotel was great considering hotel rates in the Cheyenne area. We had a pleasant stay.

"AWFUL and UNPROFESIONAL experience at this hotel"

I have been to this hotel before and had some issues, but nothing like a few months back where I had the most awful experience. . . or maybe I should say my lady friend who lives in Wyoming had the awful experience. She wanted to have me visit her and do something nice to me, so she reserved a room ahead of time with no issues. However, once she arrived ahead of me to check in and set the room up, the person at the front desk told her that she was on a blacklist and that they could not rent a room to her--- even though they had let her reserve it in the first place. She asked questions, but the person at the desk was quite rude to her and would tell her nothing. She is a Best Western member (and Sure Stay is covered under Best Western) and told them that. They simply indicated they did not care, and would tell her nothing about how she was on some black list, and more imporant, WHY she was on the list. They would give her no information. Obviously she was quite upset over this, but refused to let it ruin our weekend. Thankfully, the other Best Western in the town, when they heard what had happened, looked her up in their records and said she was NOT on any blacklist that they could see. They at the last minute were able to reserve her a room , as this all happened on the day I was travelling up to Cheyenne to meet her. She called me to divert me to the new hotel, and we met up there. To this day she has not been informed by anyone as to what she did to get on some blacklist, or if possibly I did something to have her on the list--- she always makes the reservation, but I tend to be the one who pays for the room. To me this is not only silly, but highly unprofessional as well to not let a customer who has been to the hotel more than once in the past know why they are no longer welcome. My lady friend appealed to the Best Western corporation as to what had happened, but was unable to find out why this wild situation occurred. She has since decided that she wants nothing to do with the Sure Stay hotel, and I fully concur with her decision. The hotel business is difficult enough without alienating your customers and not telling them what the problem was to begin with. As I go on Tripadvisor regularly, and get emails from them, though it has been last year that this happened to us, I have NOT forgotten it, and wanted to display my disappointment at Sure Stay for their behavior. Shame on them for their actions, and shame on them for almost ruining a celebration of one of their repeat customers!!

Thank you for taking the time to review us after all this time. We appreciate the feedback. It is unfortunate that some people carry so much heaviness in their hearts for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, your recollection is not serving you correct at the moment as the owner of the hotel personally called you to explain why you were on the hotel blacklist. To refresh your memory, it was because there were several rude and unruly confrontations from you with the front desk agents and they asked management and ownership if there was anything that could be done as they no longer wanted to feel belittled by you anymore as well as yelled at for things out of their control. Naturally, you defended your position but management has to stand by their staff as well and protect them when they feel highly disrespected and threatened in any way. Again, all of this was explained to you multiple times. Nonetheless, We are happy to know that you found a hotel that better suites your needs and we apologize (AGAIN) for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I can't comment on the pool or any other of the amenities because this was just a one day stay. Our room was not new but very clean and quiet. Breakfast was hot, had good selection of self-serve, and there were other nice surprises for this very reasonably priced hotel. A more expensive place we stayed didn't have a tub, just a large fancy shower. Sheesh- tubs should be standard or warn me! I was so happy to have a hot soak in the bathtub here. Also, thank you for having 24 hour coffee and a nice selection of teas in the lobby!

I recommend this hotel. good breakfast, lots of options for picky eaters. good location, easy to find and navigate. Cookies at front desk at arrival. Tea was also offered. Towels were soft, bed comfy.

"“Lost” items"

I travel weekly for business, literally every week. I stayed here for five days. The day of my check out I drove home and realized that my favorite pair of brand name joggers were left on the bed due to changing for work right as I was packing. As soon as I got home, I called when I realized that I left them without ANY doubt in my mind. I was told nothing was found even though I know without a shadow of a doubt they were on the bed as I forgot to grab them. I have called MULTIPLE times, told them I will be back every week. ZERO follow up, nothing. No I'm sorry, no confronting the housekeeper who stripped the sheet or cleaned the room, they are gone without any trace and ZERO follow up from the hotel. I rarely leave things, but in this fluke accident they have done nothing to try and assist me. I have called and called and somehow these pants vanished and their staff has zero concern. Really dropped the ball on the customer service and they lost a customer for life.

I've stayed at this location twice in the last few months and have enjoyed it both times. My first concern is cleanliness and the place seems very clean. The first time there was a stain on the chair and the second time there were a couple small stains on one of the comforters. Otherwise, the linens and the restroom were all spotless. The water pressure and temperature were good. The employees were friendly. The breakfast was good. I appreciated that I could see my car from my room. I will probably stay here again. I've tried one other hotel in Cheyenne previously, and this one is way better.

We come out frequently as I have family in the military here and decided to check this place out and was not disappointed!! Great water pressure, heating/AC systems work well (which is especially important for this area) and the pool is indoor and always heated. The customer service we experienced was excellent as well. Michael was especially great!! He took the time to listen to our individual concerns and was expedient in helping with anything we needed. Will definitely be returning here for future trips and highly recommend both.

"Thanksgiving nightmare"

We stayed 3 nights in a living room suite at 135 dollars a night with issue after issue from security doors being broken and not locked all 3 nights. First night the bathroom lights didn't work at all then the second night the smoke alarm kept chirping and we were told oh well sorry maintenance is not existent. Like we don't have one at all! Also the bed was lumpy the couch had stains beyond belief that I had ask for extra sheets just so we could sit on sofa. Disgusting just like the towels that smelled like motor oil. My son went to the pool with black shorts and the pool was so nasty it turned his shorts brown. Honestly by the looks the pool should have been closed from the filth. And then here is the kicker on our check out date we went to front desk to get an itemized receipt and they accused us of not paying when they ran our card the day we checked in and I had the bank on speaker phone clearly stating the payment has been processed and allowed a guest to get in our face and tell us to leave not an employee a guest so we left got on the hwy and then my phone starts ringing with the Cheyenne police department saying they called them when we didn't do anything wrong or criminal. The police even said you and your company are responsible! Embarrassed is an under statement it was Thanksgiving weekend and it was an awful awful experience and they are refusing a refund very unprofessional and disgusting!

Thank you for your review. On behalf of the hotel, we would first like to state that NONE of these issues were brought up to anyone at the front desk. Matter of fact, you left several great reviews prior to your checkout experience. If these issues were brought up to anyine st the hotel. There was only ONE maintenance issue with the lights in which we have a documented message from you stating that you or someone in your party mistakenly hit the gfi switch on the plug which shut off all of the lights and that there was no longer an issue and help needed. The next day, front desk and maintenance contacted your room to see about fixing anything and you stated that nothing was needed and everything was fine. Surely, if the towels smelled, stains were “disgusting” and pool was filthy, you would not have stayed and/or asked to extend your stay or speak to a manager immediately….let alone alert the front desk of any issues. The only issue that occurred was at checkout when our front desk agent attempted to check the room out and the card on file had declined. Our front desk agent was simply following standard hotel protocol by asking for a new card. This is when things got heated on your parities part. We have several witness statements corroborating this and these statements were given to the police. After review of security footage, guests were simply asking you to calm down and walk away as there was a very evident scene being created. The police was called as at that point, our front desk felt very threatened and the significant bill remained unpaid at that time. Since the incident, another member of our front desk team has voiced her concern that she has been harassed by a member of your party on multiple occasions calling the hotel numerous times and threatening legal action and recordings and demanding personal information for ownership and management. Both management and ownership have to take into consideration the safety of not only our guests but also the staff and are working closely with the police, witnesses and corporate office to better determine next steps. We apologize for any inconvenience.

My room was great there was plenty of room for my morning yoga! The fresh coffee/tea in the morning really set the vibe for the perfect session! Not to mention their internet didn't lag or take forever so not only could I join my morning yoga zoom class but it was so nice to be able to get all my class work done without worrying my assignments didn't go through ( has happened before at a hotel!) All staff were great, super friendly and they all seemed to really enjoy their jobs!

Was doing a California-to-Wisconsin driving trip on I-80 in early October and a couple of days before a surprise storm was forecast for along the way that I knew would slow us down. I tried to cancel my Monday night reservation on a Saturday and was told I could not because I was a few hours into a 48-hour cancellation policy that was not mentioned anywhere on my confirmation email. I was told I would need to ask a manager who was not in and not reachable for the next several days. I finally reached him and he said he couldn't do anything about it and he'd have his general manager call me. She never did. Am I really out $170 despite doing my best to alert the hotel about unexpected weather? Another hotel on our route charged a $50 cancellation fee which I could live with. This one was inflexible for no good reason, and managers never called me back when they told me repeatedly they would.

The Wyoming interstate was shut down for a good part of the day. Called Best Western to advise them that we would be a late check-in. When we finally arrived, there was someone there to check us in. We didn't have to ring a bell like many places now to wake someone up to assist us. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again, when in the area.

We come through Cheyenne often as we have family that lives further north and we see the hotel often as it is right next to the Highway but never stayed as we are loyal members of another franchise. Unfortunately, we had a terrible stay at the hotel we have always stayed at and decided to try this hotel. We were blown away from the second we walked in. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every aspect of your stay if perfect, cleanliness is next level. It is an older property but you would never be able to tell because of how clean and in order the entire hotel is. We pay $50 more at the hotel we normally stay at and the level of cleanliness, attention to detail and staff friendliness at this hotel does not compare to this one. We signed up for Best Western Rewards and will now make this our go to hotel. We were told they will be undergoing a hotel remodel soon and we are very excited to see the changes (even though we feel like they don't need them). Well done Sure Stay.

Sure Stay Hotel a Best Western property in Cheyenne Wyoming is NOT CLEAN!!! I discovered a semen stain on furniture. I alerted the hotel staff, they took the ottoman out of my room that night at my request. 4 days later I got billed $169.50 for property damage. Housekeeping accused me of soiling the ottoman. I'm a 60 year old man I don't do these types of things.

On behalf of management, we apologize for your less then perfect stay. As it has been mentioned on all other platforms in which you have left reviews, all furniture is thoroughly disinfected with an electrostatic sprayer after each guest checks out. Housekeeping follows a strict protocol and checklist on what needs to be cleaned after each room has been occupied. Upon inspection of the sheets provided by our housekeepers, it was deemed that all furniture in the room was inspected and disinfected as our standard protocol. After your checkout, housekeeping alerted our front desk of the damage to the ottoman. Unfortunately, it was unsalvageable. Management was also notified that you did not request another room and no indication was made at the front desk prior to check out that an issue had occurred with your room. It is best to speak to management prior to check out in situations like this so things can be clarified immediately. We will further look into this situation to the best of our ability and do our best to try and obtain more information and get back to you with any new findings.

Our room was nice and clean. We paid extra for an in-room jacuzzi. Only 4 of the 8 jets in the tub worked; three of the working jets were on the end of the tub where an artificial plant was hanging from the ceiling. When we checked out the front desk manager said we hadn't adjusted the jets correctly. Really? There was no compensation for the extra money we paid for the room. We will not be staying there again. There are LOTS of options to stay as conveniently located as this hotel was. Obviously, Best Western doesn't mean what it use to!! We had a handicap room. Also, the pool was open, but the hot tub in the pool area was closed, drained, and had caution tape around it.This was not indicated on the website advertising a hot tub and pool.

The hotel is in an area with many other chain hotels, which, on the exterior, look a little nicer (?newer?). The desk clerk graciously let us check in early (we had a reservation). Our room was large, clean, well-kept. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Lighting & outlets were adequate. Refrigerator had a freezer compartment. I would rate it higher except that the room rate seemed high and the internet connection kept dropping (even after we reported it - we finally gave up).

The Holiday Inn was full and the clerk directed us to this property as they had 5 vacancies an hour before. We got there and there were two left. So, we were tired and it was late. We found the clerk to be helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well appointed. Slept well.

My granddaughter was to have surgery in Cheyenne Wyoming and after reading the reviews and checking around on prices we felt Surestay Plus Hotel was the best. We had a wonderful stay and the front staff and breakfast attendants were awesome. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a reasonably comfortable room. Since our room was on the side of the hotel nearest the Interstate, the main issue was the amount of road noise. It seemed as though the window was open, but it was closed. Fortunately, we had a portable room air filter with us that helped mask the traffic noise. Otherwise, it was satisfactory. That's about all I recall.

There's little to recommend this hotel except it is adequate and convenient. The rooms are sparce with old furniture. The wi fi is reasonable. The bathrooms ok. The breakfast is the usual buffet and free.

Quick overnight stay. It was nice enough. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch - its a mini bottle but still.a nice treat. Room was fine. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Bathroom looked a little rough...cracked tile and grout. You can hear highway noise (we were on the highway side of the hotel). Didn't try the breakfast but hubs was ecstatic when they mentioned biscuits and gravy. Might stay again if traveling through.

This is a modern facility with VERY spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Our suite had a separate living room with a full couch and easy chair. It had its own TV as well as a nice "office" area with convenient hooks ups for my laptop. Breakfast wasn't great. Breakfast burritos that were tasteless and wrapped in a paper that stuck to the burrito. I pitched it and got yogurt and a bagel. Be SURE to ask for a room on the side away from the interstate. I had a lot of problem sleeping. Even with all this, it was a good value.

Older property but clean and neat. Quiet area of town and rooms were also quiet. Nice staff. Did not stay long enough to use pool or fitness. Seemed to be mostly families. We had to change reservations and the afternoon clerk was extremely helpful.

Quiet room at descent price. Great ease at getting on and off the interstate. Multiple television channels. Hot breakfast included. A little pricey but not uncommon for the Cheyenne area. Most annoying was having to repeatedly login to the internet.

My wife and I are extremely happy with our choice of staying at this hotel. Check in was fast and easy, front desk staff were polite and professional! They have a great location Right next to downtown by all the good restaurants. Beds were super comfortable and cozy, Our room with spacious and gave us plenty of space to do morning yoga. Breakfast was great considering most hotels are still doing a bagged breakfast. The pool and hot tub was so relaxing after our stressful drive, this hotel truly saved our vacation!

Good overall stay, but with minor glitches. Confusing TV remote, hot water for one shower was a little cool, some billing confusion with gift cards. Not all of the breakfast options are on the sign - be sure to look back to see the waffles and oatmeal. On the whole would recommend.

Simply "okay" stay but terrible business practices. After a block of rooms was reserved for a softball team stay, each family called to reserve their own room. Apparently there were "server issues" and we all had to call back and re-reserve our rooms the following day. Some families stayed one night, some stayed two nights. I reserved one room for myself, yet was charged for THREE rooms and NOT at the group rate. I called, was told it would be handled and assured Id receive a refund to my card. When I didn't get the confirmation call back from Jon as promised, I called the following day only to find out the night supervisor Wendy and owner decided not to refund me due a "conversation" that did not occur. Jon said that Wendy stated that I reserved to other rooms when I checked in. She said I gave her the names of two families that would be checking in later and agreed to have them put on my CC. That conversation absolutely never occurred. I had no idea when I arrived who was already there, who had yet to show, who was staying one night, who was staying two nights etc.... We were told that the original room block was six rooms for Friday night and ten rooms for Saturday night. Two rooms were not accounted for and/or assigned to anybody therefore a no show charge was issued. We stayed here 3 nights and this hotel was a big disappointment. The carpets are worn and fraying, the ice machine was broken on our floor, the switch to shut the light off shuts off the fridge with no way to know that until you see everything from your cooler is now warm, only one jet works in the whirlpool tub in the room, the tv instructions are incorrect on how to turn it on, and worse of all - a cold shower everyday. Even after all the soccer teams had checked out our shower stayed cold. The only thing that saved this from a one star was the breakfast. Full breakfast hot and cold served to you. The attendants were friendly and kept the area clean and well stocked. We unfortunately timed a family visit to Cheyenne during state soccer tournament time. Sold out and high priced hotels all over town. Lots of teenagers in the halls and slamming doors. A word of warning for mid May bookings!

Great place to stop before hitting Nebraska. Best to book online as the rates can be a bit cheaper. Warm breakfast was a nice change after so many grab bags in the past with covid. Best western are a go to when the hours get to long and you just want a place to rest.

Located next to I-80 and a great selection of restaurants. The room was perfect in every respect. The bed was one I wish I had at home along with the pillows. The internet gave a Speed-Test of 135Mbps DL with a secure log in. I also used my VPN for added security.

Great place to stay. The staff was helpful and happy. The rooms were clean, I really enjoyed having coffee packets available in my own room, the pool and the hot tub were lots of fun for my family and friends. Definitely a place I would stay again.

Bed was VERY comfortable. i liked the fact that they had a blanket between the sheet and comforter. It felt so good with the added weight. Breakfast was full breakfast even with covid rules in effect. Instead of self serve, they had a gloved, masked employee fill your plate for you. Pool and Hot Tub was open and soaked always is nice.

Hotel was very well maintained and clean. The front desk was very friendly and expedient. The hot breakfast was excellent during COVID 19. Felt very safe staying at this hotel during COVID. Kudos to everyone.

My husband and I enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the very clean and comfortable room, and the ease of getting off and back on to the highway. In this age of Covid, the breakfast was limited, but it had a good selection presented in a sanitary and virus safe manner. We highly recommend the SureStay Hotel by Best Western in Cheyenne,WY, and would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay here. The pool was great and so was the hot tub. The hotel was in a great location and our needs were met. The bed was comfortable and was clean. They had good parking area and was easy to get our bags to the room without assistance.

1st class Best Western. Hot Breakfast served so no touching. Distance decals on floor. Staff wears masks and super friendly. No pets allowed on 3rd floor so us with allergies have a safe place to rest our heads. Comfortable beds. Clean bath. TV good quality. Convenient to interstate. Reasonable pricing.

"Visit was good until I got the bill"

I've stayed at this hotel more than once. Last time, which was back in June, I was surprised when I went to pay after staying only for one night. When I got the bill the room charge had gone up. I didn't think much of it at the time because it was a PENDING charge--- in the past that usually meant the actual charge went down. This time it did NOT. The bill was for almost a hundred dollars. I was surprised and called the hotel for an explanation. I was told by one of the front people that the taxes for hotels in Cheyenne had gone up and so that was why the bill was higher. When i told him I should have been informed of this, he said, "What,do you mean we should explain that to every customer who comes to check in??" I responded, "yes," and he was surprised at this. Anyway, he said it is Cheyenne's fault because of the taxes and did not seem willing to help me further. I know people who live in Cheyenne and got with them on this tax issue since I couldn't find anything on it on google. They confirmed that NO taxes have been raised in years on hotels in Wyoming, so clearly the person who told me that was not telling the truth. I immediately asked to speak to the owner and was directed to his voice mail. I did not get a call back, so I left another voice mail. As of this date I have left 4 voice mail messages and have not gotten one call back. This is INEXCUSEABLE. I should have at least got a call back so I could air out my concerns. I guess the words customer service don't mean anything to the owners, as they do not seem to have any good customer service. Obviously you NEVER treat customers like this. So I have decided that clearly they don't want my return business, which is a shame since I had gone to them at least once a month, and was considering going more often. NO MORE. They can't call me back, I can't come to their hotel. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Clearly an old Hampton Inn - much of their signature decor still around. Back parking lot looked third world. Room was fine. Clean but very basic. Traditional Hampton Inn breakfast but French toast sticks were tough and other items bland.

What great value staying at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Cheyenne, WY! Clean, nice size room with 2 very comfortable queen beds. Easy access to our room, pool and breakfast area. Will definitely book another stay at SureStay Plus Hotel! Only minor complaint was that the hot tub was out of order.

This was a nice clean hotel. The rooms were clean and it seemed quiet. The family was able to eat a nice breakfast and there was nobody else in the dining area while we were there, which was nice for the times right now. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Everything from the staff to breakfast and even house keeping was wonderful anytime I'm visiting Cheyenne Wyoming I would Recommend this place for a quite clean relaxing place for travel!!!! And the owners really are great as well

Below average over all, should be rated and valued the same as the Super 8 in Cheyenne I forgave them about the breakfast. The room was in need of repair, side walkes not cleared of snow, hot water took minutes to warm.

Unfortunately, because of Covid 19, we are not able to provide a full hot brekafast to our guests; however, in lieu of this CDC mandate, we feel as if we still have viable options that meet the needs of all of our guests. As for the snow not being removed. We have a maintenance crew who arrives on property at 7:00am everyday. Again, because of all that is going on with Covid, it has been a challenge to get people in and understandably so. As for our hotel, we are undergoing a complete state of the art and remodel and renovation and hope you give us another chance if ever in the area. We hope you remain safe and healthy in these difficult times.

very clean and friendly service, close to an Out Back steak house for good food and friendly service there. Gas station right on the corner for fueling and plenty of travel options. Room was clean, shower was hot and beds comfortable.

"They wouldn't honor the price that I paid in advance through Bookings.com for my room."

We waited an hour to check-in while the girl at the front desk lied to us about our room being available. It was well after check in time when we arrived. She wanted us to pay more for our reserved room than what was the advertised price on Bookings.com. The hotel room had been paid for in advance, but they would not give it to us until we paid more money for it! Then when I finally agreed, because they were threatening to cancel our reservation and we would have had no place to stay, our hotel room was magically available! Seriously?! It really stressed us out and took away from a trip that was supposed to be relaxing.

Thank you for your response. As I have stated on every sight that you have reviewed us on, this is a back end booking.com issue that unfortunately, we are still trying to get to the bottom of. Nothing was done intentionally as my staff was simply following protocol and going by what the hotels set standard rates are for the requested room type... in which you still received a $30 discount on and agreed to pay. As for threatening you, that is a far exaggeration of what happened. You were simply told that you were more then welcome to cancel your reservation because you were not satisfied and we would waive the cancellation fee. With all due respect, the whole town had plenty of availability that weekend and this is why we gave you the option to stay elsewhere as your needs were not met and again, you were not satisfied. This unfortunate situation could have been remedied had you asked to speak to a manager or owner before you agreed to stay and most definitely before you left in the morning. If you would like to further discuss this matter, please feel free to contact me at the hotel. I would appreciate the opportunity to fix this for you as I have stated on all other platforms.

This hotel is clearly recently converted to a Best Western property (the sign wasn't even switched over yet when we arrived). The location is a little strange-in behind a lot of other hotels; however, once we got inside I was extremely impressed! The staff was welcoming and the hotel was beautiful and clean! The rooms were great; comfortable and extremely clean! You can tell the tile needs regrouted and the carpet will need to be replaced soon; but I had no concerns with the cleanliness and everything was in great working order! Even the key cards are the wave cards not the insert kind which makes room and hotel entry just that much more convenient. I highly recommend this property for anyone needing a place to stay in the Cheyenne area!

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Lives up the quality expected. We stayed here on a trip to Sundance and was convenient location for us. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were as expected.

This hotel has obviously not updated their guest rooms since it was built. The carpet in our room was old and falling apart at the seams, the tile in the bathroom was filthy with cracked grout lines, and the whole place was somewhat dingy. The lobby has been beautifully updated, but obviously the rooms were not done at the same time. For the price we paid, I was livid at the condition - especially as a rewards member. There were multiple other hotels nearby, we should've stayed at one of them instead.

Beds are very clumsy n moving. Carpet dirty. It needs to be shampooed. TV on and off . Hot breakfast very satisfied. Some Staffs are very helpful. Hampton Inn Express next to it look more accommodating and inviting and bigger.

We are on a cross country trip staying almost exclusively at Hampton Inns. Locations are convenient, with the trade off being noise since most have been near a an interstate. We have stayed at older and newer ones, The breakfast is complimentary with only issue being the pre-packaged eggs. The furnishings are a mixed bag, but the desk chairs are pretty bad. The staff and clean rooms are great and overall a good value.
