Everything worked Internet decent speed Close to town. Could walk to town if needed but not in February heat Didn't use breakfast option. Canecutters cafe a few hundred metres away which was fine for breaky

Hotel is postioned very close to shops & resturants. Room was spacious very clean, bathroom was quite large & very clean & the walk in shower was execellent. Overall the hotel was execellent as were the staff & when I travel back to Bundaberg I will will be definitely staying there again.

Kel and his wife are warm and welcoming. The check-in process is smooth and easy. The rooms have been recently re-decorated and are lovely, and super clean. No over-powering air fresheners or cleaning chemicals are used, just attention to detail and actually clean. TV had good free to air reception and some cable channels.

The rooms here are always clean and accessible as I have mobility issues but they have large bathrooms with walk in showers ,complimentary products, double recliner lounge, comfortable bed and complimentary tea/coffee station with microwave. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. The only issue I found was I couldn't access the pool due to no hand rail which was disappointing but room was fantastic and we will stay again.

The BW Bundaberg City Motel has welcoming staff, clean facilities and comfortable rooms. It was close to the centre of town. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. We were out a lot of the time but were very comfortable when we were in our room.

Found this to be great place to stay and staff were very helpful. Good location in Bundaberg. Pool was great for a dip after hot day and the room was clean and tidy. Recommend to stay here for your next work trip.

We can't recommend this place enough for the service we received. We had some last minute issues, with a 3 day trip cancelled due to weather, and required 2mire nights accommodation. Kel was able to provide with almost all the rooms we needed, and helped us to find the extra rooms at a nearby motel. It is it a new facility, but is clean, serviced daily, with good quality toiletries.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Best Western Bundaberg City for one nights and it was great. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, and only a short walk to the city center. I cannot compare it to other motels as we always stay here when visiting Bundaberg. We will be back.

Another trip to Bundy for kid's sport. Have stayed here before. Convenient location, clean rooms and comfy beds. Tried the in house beeakfast dor a change. It's convenient and on par for such an establishment. Nothing fancy but good and convenient to have it delivered to your room at your desired time.

We had a small issue with checking in, but the room was very clean and met our expectations. It is close to a variety of take-away stores and restaurants. We like the fact that there are lounge style chairs in the rooms and therefore you don't have to lay on the bed to watch the television.

Great service at a reasonable cost. Very clean and comfortable room that suited our needs very well. I especially enjoyed the lovely hot shower with very good water pressure. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

This place is just amazing. Writing this review before we even check out as the stay was just great. The price was great, the room updated and cute as ever (I love the Hamptons style they went for). They serve you with real milk and not the long life stuff. We decided to do the breakfast and my daughter and I try out Eggs Benny wherever we go and I have to say that it was the most perfectly cooked eggs and the sauce was to die for. Our bed was a super large King bed that was magic. Made to keep you rested and would even keep the fussiest sleeper happy as you can't even feel the person next to you moving in the bed. Will be finding out what the make of it is. The guest laundry was clean with terrific appliances and at only $3 per use, the price was a positive too. Reception provided complimentary washing powder too. Double Powerpoints we're provided with double usb chargers in them too. We travelled as a family of 5 and had enough power points for all our devices.

Delicious breakfast and very comfortable beds. Lovely polite staff. Shower water pressure a delight. Coffee Tea milk provided in the room. Carpark convenient outfront of units. Easy access for suitcases to room.

By far one of the nicest places I've stayed in the area. Not only are the beds comfortable and the waters hot but there is also friendly staff. The place was fully booked when we stayed and there was no issues.

Clean, cosy and close to a wide variety of food venues. Have stayed here several times now and on the most recent occasion the operators remembered us from our previous visit. Very quiet which led to a very relaxing and restful night. Room had a lovely smell, fresh and crisp linen with a great reclining couch.

Can not fault this motel or staff in any way, very very clean and accommodating, I would defnitley recommend this motel to any body and would stay again. Value for money, easy to get to, we had a family event so a few rooms were taken and everybody was very happy.

Loved our stay here. The unit was so good after a long drive to get to Bundaberg.Handy to everything, so we enjoyed that. Bargara, the tourist highlights and the evening life. Breakfast here was delicious and we had a great variety.

Stayed here while visiting a family member in the public hospital. It is in such a handy location to the base and mater hospital if needing. Besides that the motel was clean and tidy and will stay again if needed. There is parking inside and on the street.

Fast check in, great service, clean rooms, breakfast received within the times we requested, only down fall was there was no option with how we liked the eggs cooked and they came hard. Would definitely recommend and would be staying again.

I was staying in another hotel in Bundy & my sister was in this one. As soon as I saw her room, I asked for a room too. Very clean and well looked after. Loved the pool too. Everything worked well (the fridge, aircon etc) I had myself & 3 kids!

We stayed at the. Best Western , Bundaberg for 6 glorious days. Faults? NONE. Laundry is close to all rooms, breakfast choices are varied, large and delivered promptly at the time requested. Bedroom an bathroom are spacious, water was HOT and the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Kel and his wife were helpful and full of local knowledge. We have stayed at Bundaberg before over the years and have found a new home away from home. Do yourself a favour and come for a stay.

The room was nice and clean and very spacious. The staff at reception very friendly, there is a pool, however we did not get the opportunity to use this facility. A lovely touch was minties and biscuits with the coffee and tea facilities.

Had a two night stay booked into reception owner give me my room key couldnt park in my allocated car space in front off my room because of owner had parked his car there so i parked next door whilst unloading my gear into my room i get abused for being in there car spot i approached the owner an asked for another room which he obliged ordered brekkie in the morning left for work come back to room and my keycard would not open the door went to reception and door was locked with a sign on the door saying be back 90mins later well in a town no no one in it so had to wait for reception to open explained my situation his reply was it was only programmed for one night when in fact he had a two night booking so after some words about his level off service i went back to my room which was not serviced still had leftover brekkie tray collecting ants wasn't very happy also had the nerve to complain to my boss when he had nothing to complain about will never stay there again very dissatisfied in the customer service And poor hygene that surrounds this place when there is a pandemic around

Beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a motel.. Breakfast was also delicious... there was a couple of minties in with the coffee and sugar. A lovely touch to welcome you. will definitely stay again.

We had a wedding in Bundaberg and needed a break at the same time. The Best Western gave us central location great service and ve;ry comfortable clean accomodation. Plenty of undercover parking and outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and tidy although the curtains in the unit were a bit kitsch. The shower was excellent. A good selection of snacks/nibbles at a reasonable price made available. I'd stay here any time I'm in the area.

From beginning to end our one night stay at this lovely little hotel was a positive experience. Central location. Very comfortable bed, spotless room, superb breakfast beautifully cooked. Overall experience five star. Easy, no fuss experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again.

everything was great except for the air-conditioning that didn't work properly in both rooms. Also couldn't get netflix to work on the tvs. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Pool was nice and motel was close to shops and take away food.

Best western bundy, a great place to stay and would do so again. 800m out of town so a littke walk so not that far, really liked the owners friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy and got value for my money. If in bundaberg stay with them. Hey rum distillery is only about 4km approx away. Believe me i walked there from hotel.

Looks to have been refurbished not long ago so room were great nice and clean . we had one of the larger rooms at the back . Nice large Undercover parking . Walking distance to takeaways or food outlets was a bonus .

Stayed here for 2 nights with my hubby and baby. Great central location and very easy for our super late check in. The room was spacious, nice and clean and had a lovely bathroom. Enjoyed our little stay. Great place for a quick stop over.

Nice engaging staff, however it is hard to find people in Bundaberg who are not nice. Well maintained and attractive entry garden display. Room frontages and car park are bland and functional. Room clean, Internet worked. Close to eating places ( Chinese across the road worked for me ). I walked to town in 10 minutes, taxi to airport was $17.

We travel to Bundaberg for work and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The new management team, Kel & Rachelle are true professionals. The service we received from our arrival to deparature was excellent. The room and bathroom are cleaned beautifully, the bedding very comfortable and we would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to the whole team we will definitely be back!

We were looking for a house and needed a base from which to start. We had previously stayed here, and it was great! Needless to say this visit did not disappoint! Again easy to book on line, reception was lovely, with no problems. The room was good, not huge, but big enough for us, clean with good amenities. We had stayed with our kids, the first time,( before trip adviser) which was great the kids loved it, and enjoyed the pool and being close to fast food places.Close enough to food places, fast and otherwise, ( we found a great restaurant with great home cooked meals!) a good breakfast menu, with a Lovely pool, and great staff! Central to Bundaberg with ease to all the attractions! Highly reccomend for families or couples.

I had a four night stay at Best Western Bundaberg City Motor Inn as part of a work trip. We received a friendly welcome from Kel and check in was easy. The room seems to have been recently refurbished. It was very clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room had a lounge and leg rest. There is desk space and chairs. There is FOXTEL and WiFi included. A microwave is provided. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 4 nights while I was up in bundaberg for a uni commitment. On arrival we were greeted by the male running it and check in was fast. All the staff we saw during our stay were polite and checked to see if needed the room cleaned and anymore supplies. Can't fault you guys at all. Super close to a lot of food places which is great.

Great place for a short stay, very reasonable rate, clean and comfy feeling room. Close to main road but not noisy. It had all the typical fixtures you'd expect in a room. Bed was great, only issue was pillows to hard haha (personal preference). Go check it out when in Bundy next.

We were on a road trip in Qld. My husband suffered a medical emergency and was taken to a private hospital in Bundaberg where he remained for the next seven days. I needed accommodation and Kel and his wife the owners of the motel were very obliging and helpful, I cannot speak highly enough of them. The Motel is not new but comfortable and quiet. The room was clean and serviced each day. The location was just around the corner, so to speak, from the hospital and close to Restaurants and the Bundaberg CBD. I would certainly stay there again if we were in Bundaberg.

OK this is not 5-star accommodation, t's a solid 3-star. But there is nothing like good warm hospitality and a clean, comfortable room! The motel is situated in walking distance to the Bundaberg CBD and there are several eateries close by including an Italian restaurant and noodle takeaway. The room was reasonably small and the bed a little soft for my firm tastes. However, the staff were very friendly and the room was serviced daily and kept clean. There was little road noise as I was to the rear of the motel. I have to return to Bundy for business and will certainly return to this motel.

Extremely tidy room, friendly staff, great location lose to shops and town centre, a bit pricey though i would have liked the room rate to be a bit cheaper for what we received. None the less highly recommended for a short stay in Bundaberg.

The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and tidy.The motel is in a great location with short walk to the CBD and plenty of eateries close by.Good choice of Foxtel channels but they could have the cricket channel.

Stayed at the Best Western for one night in November. The room was tidy and comfortable with everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was delivered to my room on time and was tasty. The hotel was only a ten minute walk into town. Staff were friendly and helpful. If passing through Bundaberg I would recommend this hotel.

I was worried once this business sold it wouldn't be the same, but it is! The rooms are still great, the new owners are lovely and I'm so glad I decided to come back! It was hard to lose the familiarity of the old owners, but thank you for keeping the place just as welcoming!

Well we were treated absolutely great by Kel the proprietor and we had great rooms and we had a great communal breakfast outside one of our rooms. It was only one night but it was great. It was only a short drive to Across the Waves Sports club. The room was clean with a mini bar and tea/coffee facility. The beds were comfortable.

Good value. Clean and well maintained. Friendly check in staff. Great location in centre of town. Kids enjoyed the pool. Bundaberg has a lot to offer with Rum factory, soft drink factory, turtles and other attractions.

Stayed here for two nights total relaxing very clean and newly refurbished rooms and impeccable order. Staff are friendly and efficient rooms bright clean fantastically quite air-conditioned very comfortable. In room breakfast was basic but nice ,the motel is centrally located to Bundaberg CBD many restaurants within walking distance. This is a very good affordable motel priced right with everything required for your stay

Very disappointed!!! Dirty cups, air conditioner full of mould and not able to use. Carpet dirty and room very tired. Breakfast arrived on time with 2 over cooked poached eggs and 2 slices of toast. Will not be staying here again.

What a great wee motel. Kel & partner Rachelle have only been running this motel for the past 12 months. Already they are on a room by room reno and the room we had was very good value for money. The best thing about the room for me was the shower. Recently we stayed in a 4.5 star rated hotel in Melbourne and their shower was more a dribble. this one exceeded all expectations in terms of volume and warmth. Very easy to control. If I was to be picky then I would suggest some non slip matting in the shower. If you are under a rain storm then the shower drain takes a wee while to disperse the surplus water then the tiles become dangerous. room was spotless and all you need at night. Unlike other motels, it was nice and quiet with no one carrying on outside late at night. We will be back Kel.

The Thai wife and I stayed here for a night recently. We hadn't book anything before arriving in Bundaberg and after a drive around decided to focus on the group of motels that this motel is in. I went it and the friendly receptionist (perhaps proprietor) soon had me sold and checked in. We parked undercover immediately outside the room. The room is pretty standard and dated however everything was clean and worked. The wifi was strong and stable. Only downside were a small number of small ants on the bathroom floor which once I removed did not come back, and there is a board above the bed that if you are not careful you may hit your head when sitting up in bed. We slept well and found the room and overall location to be quiet. We decided to take breakfast outside of the hotel so cannot comment on that.

The room was clean and comfortable and was perfect for a night's stay. Check in was a breeze with the hosts very welcoming. I was in my room unpacking withing minutes of arrival. A small bottle of real milk was a nice touch. The pool and surround, while small, was well maintained and very welcome after a long hot day.

We had 2 nights staying in this motel recently & enjoyed the experience. though on a main street it is Quiet in the rooms. Very Clean. Has a large bathroom, comfortable bed! Great TV. & a Laundry.!! Which is hard to find in a motel. We were impressed. The Owner Kel is very helpful if you need advise about the town. I would recommend this place for rail traveller's, it's a short walk to the rail station if like us your come into Bundy on the Tilt Train. And has plenty of nearby cafe's & Resruants. Very affordable stay in Bundy.

Rooms are not of a modern design but are incredibly comfortable and spacious. It's close to a range of restaurants and takeaway places. What stands out at this motel is the staff; Kel provided us with lots of local places to visit and always stopped for a chat. We had to change our booking twice after a cancelled day trip and it wasn't a problem at all. Even after a problem with a double payment, it couldn't have been easier to resolve with Kel.

I stayed overnite and I have previously. Its dated but consistent. Always clean and has everything you want and quite a reasonable size room and generous bathroom area. Its close to some eating out places and a good restaurant or two and not far from the city. The only thing thats annoying is when people sit outside their rooms smoking the smoke comes in through the front windows and it can be noisy but being more a workers accomodation place they are all in bed early so thats early in the evening then its nice and quiet there.

It was the location and the pretty good reviews that led us to choose this country town style motel and we weren't disappointed. There is half a dozen eating places within a 10 minute stroll and further options abound for those choosing to drive or happy to walk further. Check in was quick and business like. Our room was smallish but very comfortable. A nice change was that the bathroom was spacious with plenty of bench space. The shower was excellent. The AC was quiet and effective. The free wifi worked well. For a motel on the main road it was reasonably quiet once the traffic noise died down, although a couple making whoopee in the middle of the night in a nearby room could be heard clearly through the open bathroom window.

I stay here for business every few months and cannot fault. The room is always spotlessly clean, the beds are really comfortable and its nice and quiet. The shower pressure is fantastic also. It's in a great position, surrounded by restaurants and takeaway food options. I highly recommend.

I recently stayed two nights at this location. Normally I stay at the other Best Western when in Bundaberg however decided to try something new. Whilst this hotel is closer to town, I found the location not as good as there are fewer amenities (supermarket, pubs etc) within walking distance. It is on the main road, and suffers from road noise issues too. Check-in and Check-out were very simple and staff were very friendly. There were some initial hiccups with getting the wifi working, but that was swiftly resolved. The internet was moderately fast and quite usable throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, and the beds comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee facilities available also. The hotel is of an older style and would benefit from a refresh of the bathrooms and carpet, but for the price you can't complain too much. For a short stay this is a more than ample hotel and I will consider staying here again.

Walked in then walked out. Seriously these rooms would have been outdated in 1977. The place is more suitable as a Backpackers Hotel charging $25 a night. Don't get ripped of staying in this place. 1 star only.

I've stayed here on multiple occasions with work It's old school but that's not a bad thing Service from the second you arrive is great. Rooms clean ( I got the " spa bath " room this time .......... ) But do yourself a favour and eat here too. Meals are huge. Great value ( steak and chips ) And amazing quality. You will be amazed I'll be back

Chose to stay here for work purely on its position on Trip Advisor and the reviews weren't wrong! Nice large spacious room, very clean, all the amenities you need and an excellent location. Although the motel is old; the room did not feel rundown or tired and instead it had old school charm. My only very small complaint is that there were no power points on either side of the bed. This is something that lots of old motels seem to suffer from and while I wouldn't given it a lower mark for it, I do note it instead so that you know to bring a small extension cord if you need your phone beside you while sleeping because you are on call or use it as your alarm. Look forward to staying here again.

We stopped here for one night, this is our second stay at this motel. Room is clean & bed is comfortable, shower is nice & big with lovely warm water. Its within walking distance to eateries, etc. good location. Manager was nice & friendly & very informative on local area. Would stay here again.

I was visiting Bundaberg for a wedding. My stay at this motel was pleasurable experience. I did find the bed not very comfy, however in saying that I do carry a back injury. The staff were accommodating and friendly.

The location is good -most motels are on Bourbong St , so whilst the noise from the road is a little high it would be the same at other properties. What was wonderful for me were the breakfast items -usual things like eggs your way ,bacon ,sausages and Eggs Benedict and great retro things like lambs fry and bacon and mince on toast -how good is that ?The owners Glenda and Tom are always available and make that extra effort in their own quiet way to make the stay pleasant.

Tom and Glenda offer a really good place to stay. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and the shower is spot on as well! Tom and Glenda really make this place as they're really nice people and nothing is to much trouble....."ask and you shall receive". Their dogs are a treat, cute and really friendly, love a pat and when they play you can't help but buckle at their antics! It's well located with the Spotted Dog tavern and other restaurants within easy walking distance. Thanks Tom and Glenda we really enjoyed our "super" stay.

We stayed here again on another business trip in March 2017. We can't recommend this hotel enough. The service and inclusions are consistently above standard. We love the attention to detail in the cleanliness and comfort in the room, the personal service and how convenient the location is without any traffic noise. thanks again Tom, Glenda and the housekeeping team for making our stay fell like 'a home away from home'. I stayed here again recently for business and was again suitably impressed. The rooms are a great size, lovely and clean and the bed is super comfortable. Although situated on a main road there is no traffic noise to be heard in the rooms at all. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants. On my recent stay I had suffered an injury to my foot just prior to getting to the hotel. I asked the lady checking me in if I could possibly get a small bag of ice to put on my swollen foot. She not only gave me a bag of ice but also a frozen gel pack to use which was much better suited for my injury and was an immense help! These small gestures make a huge difference when you're staying away from home. I travel quite regularly for my job, and stay in many hotels across QLD. This establishment is one of the only places I stay that still offers a carton of fresh milk for coffee or tea. This means a lot to me as I detest the tiny thimble's of UHT milk that is given in nearly every other hotel, which usually allows only enough for one cup of coffee. I am also a fan of the Nescafé coffee which is available in the rooms here (again a rarity in most other hotels). Thanks again. I'll be seeing you soon!

Good value motel on the main street of Bundaberg. It is close to pubs and fast food outlets. No traffic noise. Good hot breakfast served on time. Stayed last year for four nights and was happy again this year with service, cleanliness, and value.

I always stay here when I visit Bundaberg either for business or for leisure. I have been coming here for about 7 years. The service is the best, nothing is too hard for Tom or Glenda. The breakfast is always perfect and cooked to your liking. The accomodation is always clean, fridge is working and full of snacks and drinks. I would recommend staying here

I stayed there during my business trip. My room was located at the back of the property with parking at the door. The room was not too big although there was a sofa and queen size bed with desk for work, mini bar and big TV. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a big vanity which I really liked. I had a comfortable stay and good night sleep. The place was clean and services daily. Kudos for actually not replacing my towels when hanged, first place I ever been to preaching environmental approach and actually going by its word.

As previous reviews, not the most modern place but pretty well equipped and spotlessly clean. Pleasant greeting in arrival and early check-in available (handy after a 30+ hour journey from the UK). Bed very comfortable and slept well. Thicker curtains needed as headlights from late arrivals / early departures lit whole room up. TV channels a tad limited, but okay - bigger TV would have been nice. Overall a good stay and from previous visits to Bundy seems one of the better places.

I stayed here overnight for a business trip. As the title suggests it was in a good location, being within walking distance to many restaurants and eateries. The room was a good size, clean, quiet and had comfortable bedding. There was no bath though which was disappointing for me, although not a deal breaker. The room decor was a little dated. The pool area looked lovely and clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

It took me 3 years but I finally found a clean place to stay in Bundabeg. I travel to Bundy for business approximately 6 times a year. I was running out of options until I found Besy Western! Rooms are slightly dated but clean and very comfortable, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and remembered me by name when I came back for my 2nd stay. The breakfasts are AWESOME and they are happy to accommodate dietary requests without charging extra and offered it to me on my 2nd stay without me having to ask. I felt very safe as a lone female business traveller. If you want take away food there are several options within 1 minute walk as well as a 7-11 with plenty on offer however the food at Best Western was more than adequate for me, well priced and delicious. Seriously, give this place a go when you are next travelling through Bundy.

Older style rooms, but well maintained and clean. Things like irons and TVs are up to date and new. Great, professional managers. Bed was comfortable and apart from the idiot in the room across from us who arrived at 2am and slammed doors for 20 minutes while yelling at his wife, the sleep was very good quality, and the idiot was certainly not the motels fault :) Other good feature was a good clean, self service laundry on site. We didn't use it this trip but will certainly remember it for next time we're on the road. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is centrally located but you can hear traffic from the main road. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy almost say spotless. Didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, went into Bundy town to find the local organic food!

We were driving up the coast to Airlie Beach and Bundaberg was on the path to that goal. This Best Western was nice - we had a room at the back so we had a quiet rest. The free wifi was great and we slept well.

Wow, what a place to stay. We've been coming to Bundy for a few years now with work or my daughters swim meets and Tom and Glenda's Best Western is the ONLY place we'd stay at. Nothing is ever a problem for them. Warm welcomes, great chats, friendly personalities is just the start, seriously Best Western's Best Ever. Rooms are exactly what is required. Great pool and other facilities. I'm not sure what other motels cost, and I don't care. The rooms are worth every cent in my book. Most highly recommended and I can't wait for the next trip north to see and stay at Tom and Glenda's. If I was wearing a hat I'd take it off for them. Keep up the great work and please never retire :-)

I would never stay anywhere else in Bundaberg! The rooms are lovely, big & clean. Tom (the owner) is pretty much to nicest & friendliest person I've ever met! I honestly couldn't rate it high enough! Thank you for always remembering my name and making me feel welcome even though I only stay a few times a year!

I rate my stay in hotels by the quality of the bed and the locality to restaurants. This hotel ticked these boxes and more, The bathroom is a good size and the rooms suit my purpose with a desk large enough to spread my work. it was my best sleep all week..

Room was exactly as expected from the pictures and other reviews. Very clean and comfortable. Bath was large with plenty of counter space, and shower pressure was good. Only issue we had was that the second bed was in its own room, and when the door was closed it did not get the AC. The room did have its own fan, and leaving the door slightly open helped. The motel is close to several restaurants/coffee shops/convenience stores and makes for a nice walk. We were curious about the small door that opened into the rooms near the sitting area, and surmised that they were used for meal deliveries. Great idea! Wish we had given it a try.

One of my best motel experience, Room is comfy, bathroom/toilet roomy and clean, breakfast surprisingly GOOD! the owner knows her town well, full of knowledge and very helpful, feels like home :) Location is the best thing, everything from CBD to good restaurants are within a few minutes walk

Such a clean and well-maintained property, and the attention to detail is everywhere. From the comfortable room through to the generous tasty breakfast and sparkling swimming pool ... the owners (Tom and Glenda) ensure an enjoyable experience. Great central location too.

This motel is a typical small town 3-3.5 motel. I have stayed here twice now in two different rooms and have enjoyed both stays. I like this motel for several reasons - it is located close to restaurants, a convenience store, lots of takeaway, a bottle shop and not far from town, the owners are very friendly and even remember your name when you go into the office, the bed was quite comfy but most of all my rooms have been spotless which is one of my two main criterias for accommodation. They also offer a good old fashion breakfast delivered to your room on time and pushed through one of those cute little doors. An added bonus is free wi-fi. There is a pool and bbq area but I have never had the time to use those facilities. If you are looking for a friendly, very clean and comfy motel in Bundaberg, I can highly recommend this place.

This is a nice friendly place, rooms are clean and tidy but not worth the dollars I spent. I was expecting a lot more for what I paid but in reality what I got was average in comparison to similar motels. Staff are very friendly and helpful so its not a reflection on them, just what is charged.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Large shower. Very cooling air con. Management are very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for food but quite a walk into the main town area. However with a car it's only a couple of minutes into town. Great stay.

The Best Wesren motel at Bundaberg is one of the best notels we have stayed at. We will continue to stay ther when we visit Bundaberg in the future. It lives up to the Best Western standard of motels and its location is excellent. We will be going to Bundaberg at Easter and will be definitely staying ther again for the fourth time in 2015 -2016. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful always.

We stayed for 2 nights recently and found this motel very clean, and Tom & Glenda very friendly. We stayed in quite a few motels this trip and this one was by far the best, also reasonably priced. The bathroom has plenty of room. It was on the main road but this didn't bother us as we didn't hear anything. Very pleasant stay will definitely stay again when in Bundy. Marilyn W.

We have stayed at the Bundaberg City Motor Inn this time every year for the last 4 years for work. The staff is always friendly the room have never been anything but spotless and nothing has ever been a bother. The free Wi-Fi and daily room service is something you don't seem to get in even in expensive motels. If you are looking for a clean room is a handy location you cant beat it for value for money.

Went to Bundaberg for business & often do, although have never stayed here before but so glad I did. I was greeted by a very warm welcome & nothing was any trouble. I was handed a small carton of real milk which never happens as most give you Long life milk & for me is always a run to the local shop to buy the real deal to have a good cuppa. The Room was clean & spacious & when I left to sort out my account the manager greeted me with a smile & remembered my name & had a chat before I left. I stay in hotels all over Australia & overseas & the ones that stand out are the ones that treat people as they would want to be treated & have a gift in hospitality not just paid to do a job & count how many stars they have. I will be staying here again & the hospitality is exceptional & is appreciated as a smile & a conversation goes a long way especially for good tourism & good reviews!! Thanks Best Western!

Great staff, very helpful, freindly and welcoming. Not an expensive hotel, but right on the main road means quite a lot of traffic noise all night, thin walls with poor sound-proofing also means you can hear every car door and conversation in the car park. I wouldnt stay here if I had a choice. Pretty tired motor inn with a 70s road-movie feel.

We stayed overnight in Bundy as we were working in the area the following day. The room was comfortable but very small. We were right next to the main office and had a very loud air con from some other room outside our bathroom window which we had open as we prefer fresh air to air con. However once we shut the front door and the front window we felt trapped and ended up having to put the air con on the breathe. The bathroom has been tastefully renovated but the rest of the room was very basic.

Basic motor inn type accomodation and on a main road which is essentially all there is in Bundaberg but this one ticked all my essentials: 1. Super clean 2. Very good, friendly customer service 3. Comfortable bed The one criticism I would have is the lack of a safe in the room. I dealt with it by locking valuables in the boot of the car when I went out but if you don't have a car you could be forced to leave them in the room or take them out with you. First world problem though.

Stayed overnight while travelling down to Brisbane. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Had a good breakfast brought to our room when we required. Would be happy to stay again when next travelling through Bundy. Rooms clean and comfy.

We recently stayed at the Bundaberg Best Western Motor Inn for 4 nights on our trip to Australia. Bundaberg is a wonderful little town that I remembered from a previous visit and it seemed like a good "base" for our time on the Sunshine Coast. Close to whale watching, Town of 1770/Agnes Water, of course the Bundaberg Rum Distillery, etc. When we checked in, I was greeted by Tom, the owner. When I asked if he needed my confirmation to pull up our reservation he just asked for my last name and upon giving it, he said, "You must be Catherine", hospitality from the beginning! The fact that he knew what guests he had coming and taking the time to acknowledge me by name was very nice. Our room was very spacious, (much needed after being in cramped quarters with bags for the past week), very clean and had everything that we could need. Tom and Glenda are wonderful hosts and we felt right at home. Each room has its own little patio table and chairs outside the door, so if you want to enjoy the lovely weather and get to know your neighbors, it is very condusive to that. I felt we got to enjoy a true Australian experience due to the community that Tom and Glenda have created at Best Western Bundaberg. An added joy was being greeted in the morning by Laila, their son's precious French Bulldog. She joined us for coffee almost every morning, and as we were missing our own Corgis very much, she helped ease our missing our boys. I would stay here again and again and would encourage others to give it a go. Very reasonably priced, great location and as I said, Tom and Glenda were wonderful hosts! There wasn't anything we needed that they couldn't take care of, they know the area very well and were more than willing to help us with any plans as needed.

We travel to Bundaberg for business and booked online. We found the accommodation highly suitable and were impressed by the outstanding service shown to us by management. Yes, the building is older like most other accommodation in Bundaberg, but the room was bright, very clean, very comfortable with a great roomy bathroom and modern appliances and services. We definitely recommend Best Western Bundaberg as a great place to stay and want to thank Tom for being so very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We'll be back soon.

First of all the good. The lady and gentleman who manage reception and live on site are friendly, helpful and professional in my experience. The rooms are clean and gave everything you could possibly need. The locations ok but on a busy road. There's no where to eat on site but there's plenty locally. The rooms are VERY dated though and really need an upgrade soon. It feels very old fashioned and not really very bright or comfortable, just basic. On the night we stayed though there were road works, very loud roadworks and my room was at the rear of the property. If the road works aren't bad enough another guest started yelling loudly when drilling started. Obviously the roadworks aren't the fault of the hotel at all but in terms of a good nights sleep not a chance. I woke every hour on the hour, at 3.45 someone was also running a car engine! I gave up. This is a motel style hotel, I didn't book it and it's not my choice of hotel style. So while it did a job I'll not stay here again out of choice.
