Coordinated a group of 50 rooms. Staff was very accommodating, easy check-/out, great breakfast and the facilities/rooms are all newly refreshed. I will certainly recommend that our group use this facility next year for our annual event. Thanks for a great experience.

This was a great choice for a hotel for the 3 days we were in Bolingbrook IL. Comfortable, convenient, clean. We enjoyed our time. Great location, quiet. Would stay here again when we are in the area.

"Great place"

Bob (who doesn't look like a Bob) the manager was great. Very understanding and very reasonable. While waiting in line Bob dealt with an irate customer whom had used a 3rd party website to book her room. Bob was very understanding and remained calm through a litany of insults, while working with the 3rd party booking site to get the angry customer a refund. The rooms were clean, the pool was warm, and the complimentary breakfast hit the spot. I am mostly impressed with Bob, his staff, and their willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend and will book again next time we're in town.

We will definitely stay here again. Super clean and comfy. I recommend to all of my friends and anyone else. Staff was awrsome. Bed and room were perfect. Enjoyed it very much. Could have stayed longer.

"A little hard getting there."

You have to drive thru a construction area and light industrial. It is a very zig zag entrance A highway. runs in front. The hotel itself was very nice. No problem with that. Clean and comfortable. There was a noisy patron that made me uncomfortable. You need to get there early for a hot breakfast.

I stayed here 6 months ago, the hotel reeked of marijuana. It was so strong in my room coming up through the bathroom plumbing I was getting sick. This time I stayed, the lobby, hallways and room smelled of cigarettes. I asked for a 2nd room, it smelled too but not quite as bad. Came home with our clothes in the suitcase smelly. Will not stay here again

Great place to stay. The room was very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. We continue to go Best Western hotels because they are overall very nice and this hotel meet the mark. We will come back to this one if we return to the area.

My son was admitted to the local hospital and I had to make an unexpected emergency trip to Bolingbrook to be with him. I made a last minute booking and stayed at this property. I had to extend my stay a couple of times and the staff became aware of my situation. I stay in a lot of hotels and quite honestly, when you are asleep, they all look alike. What sets them apart is the service. The staff at this hotel has nailed service down!. Every single person that I dealt with was exceptional. I was dealing with a very tough personal situation and they all became aware of it. Every time I walked past the front desk, I was asked how my son was doing and how I was doing. They demonstrated genuine concern for our well-being. Fortunately, my son made a full recovery and I was able to come home. I will never forget the kindness and compassion from the staff. Thank you for making a bad situation better..

"Do Not Stay Here"

I am a business traveler and the hotel I planned to stay at was overbooked, so I was sent here for "comparable accommodations," but I received anything but that. The staff were not very professional or friendly as I would expect from those in the hospitality business. They initially charged me for one night instead of two and had to redo my paperwork when I checked in. Then I was trying to work in the lobby and the front desk staff were cursing and pushing each other while I was sitting there. On top of this, the guests in the room next to me were clearly "residents" or long term guests, as were many of the other guests here it seemed, and were loud and disruptive the majority of the night. I went to the front desk the next morning having not gotten any good sleep, to let them know about my experience and to ask to be moved for the next night. The woman working the desk was sitting on the couch watching TV and had to walk back over to assist me. She then informed me I had only paid for one night! I am glad I asked because I would gone to work and left my belongings in the room not knowing I had been checked out! She was not apologetic and did not offer to book me another night, she let me walk away from her with no attempt to make it right even after I expressed I did not anticipate being checked out and had no alternative accommodations. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. Further, I will make sure that everyone that I work with and my employer knows not to ever stay here, and I will also be complaining to the hotel I was supposed to stay at because they should not be referring their overbooked guests to a place like this.

"What? No daily housekeeping service? "

Yep. According to the front desk they only provide housekeeping service on Thursday. Unbelievable. If you want the room cleaned and fresh towels you must request service. I've got nothing bad to say about the staff, or the quality and cleanliness of the room. Both above average. Next trip I'll find a hotel where I don't have to ask for clean towels!

This is our first time staying at this BW. Beautiful exterior located more in the business park. Interior inviting and modern. Room modern clean, and up to BW excellent standards. Enjoyed our breakfast and customer staff who served to our needs. Only disappontment was customer service at desk the young man could of been new and just nervious but the woman when we departed was nice but not over friendly not our usual expectation. I guess in today's climate this may be going by the wayside. Still a BW customer.

The room was clean and adequately maintained, so this place met minimum requirements. However, the building is old and presents a shabby appearance with scratches and marks especially in the elevator. When checking out I had to wait 15 min for someone to come to the desk. Then after checking out I noticed a problem on my receipt. It was not the desk st as offer's fault, but she had left the desk I had to wait another 15 minutes for her to come back. I think she may have been dealing with a personal nor health issue, but the problem is that during the check out rush in the morning there was only one person in the building who knew how to perform a check out. Hence my understaffed comment. Would not stay there again. chose this for location but in retrospect staying at a better place 5 miles further from my meeting would have been the better choice.

"was ok- did the job"

My husband and two small boys stayed here for three nights. Fast checkin and out. The deadbolt to room didn't work. Housekeeping didn't come on Friday- had to get towels from front desk who made a note that our room wasn't cleaned. There was a weird discolored gross sticky spot on carpet next to bed that we left housekeeping a note about and wasn't cleaned- we laid a towel down so we wouldn't keep stepping on it. Went to pickup a toy next to bed and a toenail clipping was laying there! yuck. So cleanliness was disappointing. Took kids to pool one evening, was a blast of chlorine when opening the door, didn't seem to be any staff to clean up after other people left towels and messes. The breakfast was hot and clean, but limited choices. Only egg option was cheese omelet, only mean option was sausage patties laying in their grease. But bagels and muffins were fresh. Coffee was from a machine- fresh brewed would have been nice. Staff was friendly but overall this hotel wouldn't be my first pick.

The hotel was alright but the service was not. We had issues checking in and the room we reserved was not available. When we got in the room there was not shower curtain or remote to the tv. The next morning there was a strong smell of gas (which made me very sick) and no hot water. We stayed 4 days 3 nights and they never came to clean the room or give us fresh towels even after we asked them to when we went out for the day. We had to keep going down to the front desk each day to get towels. This was the worst stay I ever had at an hotel. I would not recommend

"Cigarette smoke smell"

I'm never staying in that hotel anymore. The first room I got smell cigarette smoke everywhere. I asked for a new room after trying to sleep, by I couldn't due the odor. They gave me a new room, it looked better at the beginning, but it started to smell like cigarette smoke as the previous one. I checked out earlier than expected because I couldn't bare anymore that terrible odor, and the even though the hotel charged me the 4 nights.

Very nice hotel!!! Very Clean, Newly remodeled. I would rate this hotel 10 of 10 . Next time i will come to Chicago, i will stay in this Hotel again. I enjoyed good breakfast!!! Good location ( close of I 55)...

"Worst Hotel Ever"

I travel a lot for business but this time was traveling for my sons club basketball team. We were referred here by the club and once arrived the desk clerk informed us that the carpets were just cleaned in our room and that they might be a little wet. We entered the room and it smelled like a wet dog initially and noticed the window was open and ac was off. Let the front desk know about the smell and they informed us they did not have any other rooms. We turned on AC and left for Sons game. We arrived back at the hotel and the smell in the room went from wet dog to a rotting corpse smell. Informed the desk and the gave us air freshener to spray. We looked for another hotel but all were sold out within 45 minutes. Went to sleep and in the morning my son went to the bathroom and toilet did not work. Informed the front desk and we left for the day. Get back late at night and room was not cleaned, toilet still plugged, and smelled like a rotting corpse. Front desk lady stated housekeeping was unable to clean room but she brought a plunger and plunged toilet Wich went down but was still unable to flush. She sprayed more air freshener in room who lick did not help and left. We left room looking for another hotel but everything was sold out and went back late at night to just sleep and leave. Worst hotel ever and I will never stay at a Best western or any of their affiliated properties in the future.

DO NOT STAY HERE! You will get more sleep staying in a college dorm than this place. A few hours after checking in the noise began. Parties in the rooms around me, the hallways and above me. Police even came and people still continued to party. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund because I was not going to stay. This was at 2am! The helpful clerk called someone and they said they would call me the next day to provide a refund because the clerk did not have the access to do it. What a surprise no one called! I called again and the clerk told me that they would be refunding my money the next day and charging the people who had the party. Next day, no call no refund. I called them again! They told me that they could not refund because I booked thru a third party. Then they said they would give me a free night and half my money back, I did not accept because I didn't stay there! Called the corporate help line, they even called the hotel, and the hotel still refused a full refund! The clerk put me on hold to talk to her GM, when she returned I asked if I could speak to the GM, and she said he stepped out. How convenient! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY LIED TO ME AND HAVE BLOWN ME OFF, Don't let the renovation fool you. HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY!

This hotel is very nice. It was an old Laquinta hotel before and has been 100% remodelled with everything being replaced inside and out. The staff is very nice and internet service was fast and reliable. It was convenient for me off of I-55 as I was travelling the suburbs of Chicago for business.

This location was a great option as we were heading to Chicago for the end of our Route 66 trip. After learning that most hotels in Chicago have outrageous nightly parking fees (some are almost the same cost of the room itself!), this location with free parking was ideal. The room was fine except for a clogged toilet which was easily remedied by asking staff for a plunger. The breakfast was just ok, not as good as other BW locations. Typically scrambled eggs are available at most locations, but this one had small discs of terrible quality eggs, the discs were stiff, dry and rubbery. There was ham as well, which is different than the typical sausage, it tasted fine. Staff was nice, room decor looked great, room was a nice temp (it was about 20 degrees outside).

Very easy hotel access to andafrom the surrounding roads and the interstate. The room was clean, everything worked, nice TV, bed was comfortable with various pillow densities, and the linens/towels, etc were clean, soft and nice. The breakfast was nice with the typical options. Also fresh, tasty muffins and pastries to include various quality yogurts (Chobani, Yoplait, Activa, etc.) Night esk clerk very pleasant and friendly. Overall very glad I stayed and the price was a very fair price.

I stayed at this hotel on January 15th while travelling in the Chicago area for business. The hotel has been renovated and is very nice. Internet connection was fast and has a good fitness room. The breakfast was what you would expect for complimentary breakfast. Staff was great and very polite. My understanding is the hotel used to be Laquinta and ownership closed it down and reopened it as Best Western Plus.

"Dirty and smells awful"

Shower had mold on the ceiling in the corner. Room smelled like mildew. Hole in the carpet, dirty floor in the bathroom. Asked for a new room and it was worse! Reeked of cat urine or some other awful smell. Got a full refund and left. Terrible customer service.

Omg this was the worst hotel ever! First off no where on the web site did it say the hotel is under constriction non did it say the pool was closed!! The ONLY reason we picked this place was because of the pool! So when I got to the hotel and checked in the guy behind the desk had ear buds in and had nothing on that would let u know he was an employee, I would have thought he was a guest of the hotel. He was very short and not friendly at all! I got all checked in and got to the room and the room had two beds just what I needed. Well one of the beds had dirty sheets. Asked for a new room and they did give me a new one however it only had one bed. By this point I was so mad I had to leave the hotel and find a new one to accommodate the fact I needed to beds! So I ended up spending $70 on this room to stay for ONE HOUR! I asked the guy at the front desk for a refund and was told my room was nonrefundable. Such a mess! I will never be back!

Had booked these rooms almost a year in advance. This place has definately gone downhill. Hot tub noy working and is gross. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff is definately bad. We were supposed to have adjoining room and we ended up several rooms away from each other. Other occupants were difinately smoking smothing that smelled like a skunk on our floor. Breakfast was fair at best. Probably will not stay there again.

"Toilets don't work"

On Saturday about 7 pm the toilet in room 129 stopped working, I went and spoke to young man at desk, all he did was give me a plunger. Later that night it stopped working again, and I think stuff from another room started leaching in. So at this point we had to use the swimming pool toilet and open to the public which was out of tissue. Especially this was very inconvenient in the middle of the night. On Sunday September 10 I again spoke to front desk, they said for sure would be fixed. I saw the plumber and the girl at front asked him 4 times to come and fix it. He never came in. Then I spoke with the Sunday evening desk clerk who said there was nothing he could. This morning I spoke with the front desk and she took of $10.00 a night for 5 nights and reassured us it would be fixed Monday. Well today is Monday and at 2:30pm I again spoke with her, she said the plumber is not coming in at all today. Therefore, I am requested a substantial reduction in our room rate for Sat., Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning. I recieved no answer from the management.

My husband booked this hotel though booking.com and read rave reviews somewhere on the internet. It does not get any rave reviews from us. I will give them the clean rooms but that is it. We booked two rooms and requested that we get the rooms next to each other. They told us they would try. It turns out the rooms were two rooms apart. We entered our room and it reeked of stale smoke. We requested a different room. So they ended up giving us two rooms together. So why couldn't they do that to begin with. That room also smelled. They sent someone in to spray. All that did was cover the smell briefly. We had towels for one person...what the heck? The air conditioner's drain must have been plugged as the water was leaking on the carpet which caused a musty smell on top of the smoke. We even saw the cigarette ashes on the window sill. The hot tub was out of order not very well guarded. The entrance area smelled of chlorine as the pool was right there and the door to the pool left was open. The parking lot was full of pot holes, not very attractive. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was just the paper tasting waffles, stale cereal, terrible coffee but yogurt, bananas, apples and toast. A total disappointment!!!!! I would never stay here again. And the staff is not friendly at all.
