Place was perfect for all my needs and staff is always willing to help and always maintained great attitude. Rooms very clean. They try to do there best there to accommodate there guess and make them feel at home.

Room smelled like mold. Told the front desk and I asked for some air freshener. The air freshener didn't even last 5 min. Went back to the desk and told them the situation and no other room was offered

Older hotel that is showing its age. Leaky faucets, dark rooms, tv problems, AC problems, limited breakfast (no pots of fresh coffee), one small elevator, etc. Ceiling in bathroom was falling apart. Lots of noise from adjoining rooms.

Although the staff was friendly, the hotel was lacking in almost every way. The internet download speed was 3.8 Mbps (~18 is required to stream 4K movies). There were only seven coat hangers for the two of us and the staff informed us there weren't any more. There was one coffee, one decaf, and one tea in our room, and the expresso machine added cocoa to every hot drink. I was surprised and disappointed that a Best Western was so neglected.

Clean, I could get around the room in a wheelchair, but it was tight. This room had a king sized bed. Shower chair available, shower head comes down to the shower chair. Large bathroom. Absolutely awesome breakfast from 7 - 10 AM on the weekends, earlier on weekdays.

The room was not cleaned well. The trash had not been emptied. There were not enough towels provided in the room and I had to ask for more. Night staff was not very friendly. Good hot breakfast. Good location for visiting friends.

This hotel had an exceptionally pleasant staff and I felt we got a great value for the dollars spent. Very nice hotel. We loved the indoor pool. And the setting for breakfast was relaxing. We will definitely be recommending this to friends.

We were very pleased with the hotel. Staff was very friendly, helpful and were working hard to keep things in order. The hotel is conveniently located. We felt safe, and had no negative issues at all, except grounds in the coffee.... It was nice to have the large 2 room king suite, with lots of room. Kanijah at the front desk is super sweet and helpful.

There was a stain (blood?) on the uppermost, thin layer of bedding. I just pulled it off. Bed sheets had ink (?) marks. Someone knocked on our door at 9:15pm, which startled us for sure since we weren't expecting anyone. Didn't open the door, but through the peephole it looked like an employee. I had to ask who it was, and she said she was from the front desk. She was carrying a couple of small boxes and asked were we the ones who had trouble with our coffee maker. No, we weren't. Apparently, that was a request/complaint from the previous guests in that room. A little disconcerting to have a knock on our door at that hour. Breakfast was okay, but was not being replenished adequately. They were out of bacon/sausage, pastries/breads/orange juice. Wifi is sketchy on the 3rd floor. Kept dropping me off the internet, constantly.

Beds were very comfortable! Pool was nice and warm, pool room was a little warm too but the humidity is understandable if you want warm water. Staff overall was great - one grumpy employee on Xmas eve didn't seem to like her job. Breakfast was typical for hotel - breakfast host was absolutely great!!

I left a different hotel in a nearby town to stay here and I was very very pleased with this hotel. It was clean. The desk clerk was extremely friendly. This hotel seemed to be owned and managed by a responsible and caring company/owner. I felt very safe too which is important because I was traveling alone. If you need a place to stay in or around Woodway I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not only the person who helped book my room and accommodating the time frame of my parties arrival they went above and beyond to make sure it was right. And when I arrived the lady who got me my key was a tremendously friendly and helpful person. I could t have asked for more from a staff.

Being a PLUS, I was surprised to see the bathroom door scratched up/work out (on rr side). The commode tank lid didn't fit the top of the commode and one of the hinges on the seat was broken or missing! BUT other than that, the room was comfortable and cozy!!! Breakfast was great!

Overall the place was fair but the room needed repairs. There were tiles missy in the bathroom and there was a hole in carpet. Looked more like a $60 room rather than the $155 price I was charged. I will not stay here again until it is remodeled.

The location of this Best Western is good, but accessibility is weird, but that is the Texas roads. I would highly recommend this place, even with the road accessibility, that's not the Best Westerns problem.

I have stayed at all of the hotels in the Woodway surrounding area and this hotel is the best from clean rooms, fabulous breakfast, gray locations, and the most important are the staff members that cares . I highly recommend anyone traveling to waco/ Woodway please stay at Bestwestern Woodway . 10 minutes to silo , 1 block from mall, and 5 minutes to outlet mall etc etc. I will ge back !!!

Checked in with 2 kids and never told the pool was closed. We chose this hotel for a pool getaway with the kids. The kids were bored. Complained minutes after checking in over the phone and was hung up on with the guy saying there was nothing he could do. Chatted with a manager the next morning and she said she had processed a $25 refund. My card was billed the full rate, and 12 days later, still no refund. We could have stayed cheaper somewhere else with a pool, had we been offered the option, but we weren't. The hotel is in a sketchy area next to manufacturing, no restaurants close by. I parked my car where I could keep an eye on it. Room was ok, not worth what was paid, kids didn't eat their breakfast.

Our stay was very relaxing this was the first time I travel with 2 of my sisters we had an awesome time we enjoy our stay there breakfast was excellent. The indoor swim was great also the exercises room was worth while and we were able to wash our clothes.

Many maintenance issues are not being addressed at this property-some are safety concerns. As you enter the property from the road in the back, a garbage dumpster gate is stuck open that has an impact on traffic safely entering/exiting the property. There is a LED mast light in the parking lot that “strobes” all night flashing in rooms on that side of hotel. If you park behind the hotel-you can't use the card reader to walk in the back door-it doesn't work, but has a sign that says to use it to enter. Hot tub in main pool area is blocked off, not working. Apparently no hopes of working in near future either according to workers. Shower curtain rod very loose. Jacuzzi tub in room-only half the jets worked. Mirror on closet door broken/shattered on bottom. Mold along base of wall near air handler unit and carpet. Lobby staff on second shift less than friendly and professional.

Over good place location is good as well. But the breakfast doesn't end at 10am they throw stuff out at 9:25am. The person in charge of that area was very rude overall. But besides that all else was ok

BW+ is very quiet and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised how very comfortable the bed and pillows are. Fair value with full breakfast. Staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Our ladies ministry just finished a weekend retreat at this motel and the service, cleanliness, amenities and especially the breakfast were outstanding! Highly recommend this motel if you are looking for affordable and clean!!!

We have stayed on this property several times. Always Friendly, Clean and Accomadating. Best place to stay in Waco, Texas. Convient to everthing in town, good food and drink near by. Always quiet, no commotion.

If you're looking for a fancy hotel, this probably isn't the one for you. If you're looking for a dependable place with solid service and reasonable prices, this will treat you just fine. Having stayed in other Best Western's, I felt the room here was actually in very good shape and clean. The toiletries were very nice, and the front desk staff were always polite and helpful. Compared to the rates at some other hotels around Waco, we felt this was a fair price for what we got. We'd definitely stay here again.

The front desk personnel was asleep in the lobby when I arrived. The hot water stunk, like it had been sitting in the tank for too long. Overall the room was clean and the breakfast was hot. Upon leaving there was a roach on the wall.

Front desk and breakfast staff were very pleasant. Room was only OK, and they would not call in maintenance over the weekend to fix our toilet that was constantly running and whistling like a tea kettle 24 hours a day. We asked to change rooms, but could not since hotel was full. Room charges made to wrong CC, and hotel would not fix it when I called about it. Not sure I would stay here again.

Upon arrival, the room we were given had an awful odor that made our throats burn. When I went down to report it, was given a bottle of air freshener to spray. It did not help. I also brewed several cups of coffee just for the purpose of trying to overcome the odor. We left our door propped open for quite some time with fans running, but nothing really got rid of the odor. They also refused our request for extra towels for our girls when they went swimming. We had party of four and room had towels for two. No towels in pool area. Hot tub was not working.

The Hotel is extremely clean and has Full Hot Breakfast, Great front desk staff, Extremely Clean Room, Clean Indoor Heated pool and Hot tub. The Hotel have double insulated walls we cannot hear any noise. I highly Recommend this hotel to all travelers.

We chose this hotel for the indoor pool, upon arrival we found out pool had been closed for maintenance since 10/18/21, three weeks prior. I said they should have posted that on the website, which they now may have done. We would have chosen a different location. Room was fine.

The lobby was nice, but the rooms were very worn and not well kept. The hvac units were extremely dirty and the towels worn and threading. First room smelled of mold and upon discovery it was the hvac unit. Looking in the vent you saw mold dust and dead bugs. Luckily the staff was super accommodating and transferred me to another room. The second room was a little better but just didn't feel clean. Saw little beard hairs on the vanity and the ice bucket was a fake leather type bucket that was peeling and should've just been thrown away.

Excellent Front Desk Assistance. Had our room ready when we arrived from out of town. Great Location and hotel was very well kept and clean. My sister enjoyed her breakfast. We would definitely be going back.

room 116, first floor, hotel was sold out for an event in Waco; room obviously flooded at some time, mildew, musty like we've never smelled, mold on the bathroom ceiling, ADA shower which flooded the entire bathroom, TV remote not working, even with new batteries (a small thing but it just adds up); if either of us had any breathing problems, this room would have set us off; couldn't ask for a different room, all sold out, Waco sold out, too so no options...room should NOT be sold to anyone until the mold and mildew is fixed

This is my favorite hotel and I go stay at least 8 times a month to this place very nice staff, awesome clean rooms and really good breakfast and always consistent with awesome shower that's the best part of this hotel and sound proof walls no noise. We will return and I highly recommend this place!!!!

I paid $270/night for a less than 2 star hotel service. Housekeeping didn't do their job. Management was less that responsive. Had to go to front desk twice to get fresh towels. Bed not made, trash not emptied.

The staff was pleasant and friendly. The property was clean and comfortable. The parking lot was well lit for security. It was myself and my 12 year old granddaughter and we felt safe and comfortable.

I was in Waco for Baylor move in week and I booked here for the main reason that other hotels were charging quite exorbitant rates given that it was during move in week and this Best Western Plus was one of the 2.5 star and higher properties charging a reasonable rate in the area, so I was primarily booking for price. The location is adequate, it is to the south of Waco in Woodway so one shouldn't expect to be too close to the city itself, but the hotel is actually located near a cluster of restaurants at the Richland Mall and is close to the main roads into the city, namely US-84, Texas 6, and Valley Mills Drive. The staff were all quite welcoming and friendly, although there was a bit of a caveat since the hotel appears to be understaffed at reception and when we arrived, there were actually no staff on duty, but rather there was a number to call to raise a receptionist's attention. Another issue was that our room was not available when we checked in. This did take a bit of lustre off the staff, who were otherwise very helpful and had excellent demeanors. The room was a fairly large size and had a desk and chair as well as a sitting area with a small table. The room was for the most part clean and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable. The bathroom was actually over a decent size as well and quite organised and clean. There were some noticeable cleanliness issues however. The window curtain on the inside of the blackout curtains had what looked to be a booger and also a small spot of what I believed to be blood. The entrance to the closet, which was a sliding door with a mirror on the outside facing the room, had a very large crack on one of the panels, which was very apparent. The crack spanned the entire width of the glass panel in two different spots and extended halfway in two other spots. The wall next to the bed also had a substance stuck to it that I could not identify, but I suspect it was glue. Internet access and connection was very good, no complaints. The breakfast was just around middle of the road. There were three hot options, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage. The sausage was less greasy than I had at comparable hotels and they did offer a number of cold items including boiled eggs, yogurt, breads, and cereals, however there was nothing significantly impressive about the selection. It's hard to pindown a very accurate rating of this hotel, on one hand, it's hard to rank it high because of some very glaring cleanliness and room quality errors, but the room itself wasn't exactly dirty aside from the blind spots. The service was quite good and well above average and considering most other aspects were up to par, I am willing to give it four bubbles.

The people at this hotel are the best, most friendly and welcoming than any hotel I've ever stayed. Ms. Buhl, Kenneth, Jackie, and Rachel are the gold standard when it comes to welcoming guests and making guests feel at home.

I stayed with my family. My son woke up with gum on his leg, a mirror was broken and we were blamed for it. But the thing that was the worst was the staff. They threatened to call the police on me and told me I had 5 minutes to get off the property. They shouted at me and were very rude. They informed me there was audio and video footage and I would like for the owners to review that footage. Mr. Patel, your front office staff is atrocious. You seriously need to look in to hiring new staff. I will NEVER stay at a best western again and I have stayed at PLENTY of them

Beautiful, clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed and two seating areas. Perfect for my needs. Check in was fast and easy, and check out was even more so. The staff was friendly and courteous in every exchange. Would definitely recommend.

As with all businesses post pandemic, this hotel seems to be struggling to get decent staff. Asked for my room to be serviced and it never was. Front desk lady was new and treated me pretty rudely. Some visible mold on wall near AC. Breakfast was amazing. These issues will probably resolve themselves in a while, when staffing is normalized.

The WORST was when I pull back the sheets & saw what appeared to be old blood stain on the mattress. Several areas in the foyer where duct tape was used on floor. This was the t-molding (transition molding)would have been. Really! This is definitely dangerous & can cause a fall & injury.

Hotel had easy access. Lobby staff extremely helpful. They gave suggestions for eating, touring and getting fuel. Facility was clean. Room was clean. Decor was nice. Quiet environment. Breakfast limited due to Covid restriction.

We got a suite with a separate bedroom so we could put our little one down for naps and bedtime without disrupting him. The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downsides: the TV remotes did not work well and the WiFi was spotty.

Great service, great rooms, amenities were great. Convenient and friendly . Easy access and affordable prices. Near restaurants and stores. Security is great. When traveling long or short distances, this is the place to rest and enjoy yourself

Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, the room was very clean and the front desk clerks were very nice and accommodating. Even though they were not serving breakfast due to COVID, they always had the grab and go items and fresh hot coffee!

My hotel stay was great : the rooms was extremely clean, great staff at Frontdesk, the hotel is remodeled and this place location is awesome I highly recommend anyone traveling to Waco stay at the Bestwestern Woodway. Nearby gray Italian restaurant next to Richland mall!!!

This hotel had one of the overall best staffs that I can recall ever interacting with. The lady that checked us in was so pleasant, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing, and interacted very well with us. The hotel was clean and nice, and I would definitely stay at this one again if I am in the area. The breakfast was okay for it being limited due to COVID, but more fruit options would be nice. Everything was clean and nice and we had no issues. I have had better mattresses before, but this one was fine.

I can't decide which was my favorite, the rust covered bathroom door jamb or the completely disconnected thermostat, but now that I think about it, paintwork by the Jackson Pollock contractors might have been my all time favorite. The chapstick sized soap and shampoo will get you through at lest half of your shower, if your shower curtain doesn't fall down before you're done. The hot water is a bonus. We did enjoy the free popcorn that someone left behind the bed as well as the random 2x4 to help keep the headboard from banging on the wall. Furniture seems new. They have a long way to go before you get your $70 worth.

I choose this Best Western in the Waco area because it's not right along the interstate and there's much quieter. It's a little harder to get to but worth it but the better night's sleep. Rooms are usually clean but you better bring your own pillow because these are tiny little things and don't expect any type of hot breakfast... Of course like many blaming covid... When other Best Westerns I stay out are serving a hot breakfast and a paper sack... Why can't all of them? I think it's time that the hotels understand that us business people have had to travel the entire year and are pretty sick and tired of no breakfast no swimming pool no gym all blamed on covid... We have had to learn to adapt and overcome so can you. Now I understand why most of my business associates and people I know in the business I'm in have decided to buy RVs and good by the hotels oh yeah because of covid. at least there is a good non-starbucks coffee shop not far from this hotel location that does serve good burritos and a good cup of coffee.

The hotel is in a place close to restraint's and stores and easy to get yo the freeway. The Room was clean and spotless. The bathroom was clean also. The air and heater worked good and the TV worked good. The hotel was clean every were and the cleaning crew was polite and helpful. The front desk people cares for there customers. If you need any help they will help you. I will stay at this Best Western again.

Very clean hotel, personable competent staff, ideal location and sweet prices! We always stay with Best Western if available. Even the older facilities are updated with the best technology! This hotel is perfect!

Check in was great, motel clean and up to standard, But my request for a late checkout was not honored at all in fact they where trying to get in my room before checkout. About 30 minutes before checkout time the we answered the door and informed the front desk of our late check out request with very unprofessional results.

Clean, well appointed comfortable stay. Staff pleasant and the 'to go' bag in the morning was delicious. Would stay at this location again. Good location for our needs. Booked the room online just 2 hours before arriving & all was correct. Check-in easy.

Staff was great uoon arrival. Room was spotless, and I would use this hotel again even though the beds were too soft for our taste. Only thing missing was the hot breakfast due to the COVID-19 restrictions - but a grab and go breakfast was provided.

I decided to book 12 guests (6 rooms) into this hotel. Big mistake. Their front office clerk Renithia was hostile for asking them to enforce their rules (posted on door) regarding masks and social distancing. I am in healthcare and i have seen enough COVID deaths to know its real. Management needs to train their staff coz obviously they have no idea what customer service is all about. Dont stay at this hotel unless you dont mind risking to get Covid.

Notice posted for wearing face mask but it definitely was not observed by office personnel nor did they ask clients to observe the posted guidelines. Check-in area is not a large reception area so confidence level for being around others without their masks can be COVID-19 intimidating. And, the smoke-free room had a very strong cigarette odor.

If you want to get COVID 19 this is the place to be! A small check in area, no social distancing. A dirty little divider between check in staff and customers. No evidence of cleaning in the small elevator, without clear signage to keep people safe. False advertising on their part on keeping cleanliness in this covid era. Front desk staff Renethia, not abiding with their signage of mask requirement. The only place in Waco that I went to that had ZERO effort in ensuring their customers safety and satisfaction. Customer service a big joke, front desk Renethia or something like that needs reschooling; she was inept, rude, crass and incompetent. No service in a service oriented business. Never ever ever again. On going sunday morning construction drilling. Filthy stained curtains.

Vicki and Mark made it awesome. Great service. Very good breakfast. Awesome pool and hot tub. This was at Best Western Plus Woodway Waco South. Can't wait to stay here again. Best place out of all the Best Westerns we stayed in last 12 months.

Great location to visit Waco and friends in Crawford. The room was great and so was breakfast. We were centrally located to visit Waco, Magnolia Farms Silos, Magnolia Garden and Seed, Magnolia Press, Magnolia Table, Crawford and Waco Mammoth national monument.

Wouldn't recommend this location. Bathroom was definitely not clean, smoke detectors had been taken out of the room, keys did not work when we initially checked in. There was constant noise in the hallway at late hours... possibly other guest being disrespectful. The only good thing about this location was the breakfast.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It was exceptionally clean, quiet and the staff was excellent. The beds were so comfy, it felt like home. Their breakfast was fantastic! Everyday there was a little something different but always had fresh fruit, cereal, waffles, bagels, danish, eggs and a great selection of beverages. I highly recommend this located, only 10 minutes from downtown Waco, so no crazy traffic or parking issues.

I stayed here over Christmas so rooms were rather expensive but overall a good stay. The breakfast was limited but for a hotel breakfast was actually really tasty. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. It is located close to Woodway on highway 84 and highway 6 that takes you downtown in 10 minutes if you want to visit Magnolia or Baylor. I would probably stay here again.

We had dead roaches in our bathroom and bedroom. Also, there were long black hairs on the floor in our bathroom and short black hairs on the countertops and in the sink. They were not ours as we are all blonde. The value for this stay was terrible, too. We were in Waco for the Baylor vs. OU football game. Anytime there is any type of event in a town, the hotels triple their room prices.

We visited this hotel for one night and enjoyed our stay. We didn't have a perfect visit but it was very good and most of the important things were done very well. The Good: The hotel was clean and well appointed. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that they had a decent sized tv -bigger than at comparable chains. I estimate that it was a 42 inch screen. The front desk staff was friendly and there was sufficient parking. The breakfast and dining are was very nice. I liked the waffle machine that made waffles in the shape of Texas! The bad: The tap water had a strong chlorine taste and smell. Electrical outlets- not enough! There were some outlets on the desk and in between the beds but none on the wall side of either bed, making it impossible for the person on the wall side (me) to use an electronic device in bed while connecting to a charger. I also noticed that at some point water had come through the ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. While it was dry during our stay there was some traces of mold on the ceiling. The Ugly: Nothing- this was a nice, enjoyable stay!

Hotel was clean but furniture and doors were badly scuffed and aged. Not far from the college if it's a priority. Staff was friendly. Not bad when in a pinch. I'd probably rate right in between average and very good because of the aged look and feel.

I am a fan of Best Western hotels, they aren't outrageously priced, have a nice breakfast, and are comfortable about 95% of the time. This location hit all of my points that I look for. I was comfortable for my stay, the shower hax great pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was above what some offer, omelets with peppers and onions rather than instant scrambled eggs for example. It was easy to miss when driving by, but worth finding. I am in Waco several times a year and plan to make this my go to hotel.

I gave a 3 because all the staff was very friendly! The 2 I took away is because that property needs some major attention! This is the first time Trip Advisor reviews failed me!The staff was great. The room was musty smelling. The compressor on the air conditioning was so loud it woke us up everytime it kicked on to cool. The only ice machine that worked was on the third floor. Good luck trying to get in any side door because the card scanners hardly work. I had to walk to several doors and scan both my cards before finally getting one to open.

This is a older BW I've stayed in for almost 20 years. It once was a smoking hotel and the remodeled rooms are starting to have the smoke smell come back unfortunately. The breakfast is the same old tired stuff we travelers hate..... But. Great price, easy access. Quiet good night sleep, good pool, clean workout room, laundry and most of all. The staff with one lady in particular always calls me by name and goes OUT of her way to greet me and make sure I have what I want or need. Also the owner is always present there and working. This is why I choose to stay here. Yes I hope they rip out the carpet and get better black out curtains and a better breakfast, but again. This is my go to place in Corsicana.

Everything was perfect. staff was great especially Kaitlyn. Will return to this hotel in the future. Rooms were sparking clean. Felt like a very welcoming and pleasant environment. Although we only stayed for a short time - this hotel made a lasting impression

This place was reasonably priced , compared to the other hotels very near to them . In my opinion , this place was a better choice than the others because of it cleanliness , it was quiet , and the staff was great .

A good price for a quality room after a Baylor home football game. Driving a few extra miles away from the University helped with overall pricing where it was more affordable for our family to stay. More bang for the buck!

We stayed at the Best Western Woodwqy in July. We were given an accessible room as requested through the third party site we booked with. It was fantastic! Clean, room to move around, great shower for our son! Pool was warm and stocked with towels. Breakfast had lots of options and fully stocked. Most important stuff when road tripping with kids! Only negative is upon checking out, I asked for a receipt of our stay. Even though it clearly shows we booked third party, the woman at the front desk still charged me. Then she didn't know how to refund me and proceeded to charge me several times over in her attempts. When I asked for a receipt of the refund, her tone was rude and impatient (she just charged me unnecessarily, I didn't think a receipt was an unreasonable request). The manager did call later to apologize. Would stay again because the hotel is great and the person checking us in was courteous and efficient!

I completed a pre-check-in that I received via email the day prior to arriving at the hotel. The hotel had none of that information and offered me no explanation other than "Sorry, we don't get that information." My online request for a first floor room was not fulfilled and again no explanation was offered except "sorry". Our key-cards failed 3 times during a 5-night stay. We started checking the key as we were leaving the room to make sure we could get back in when we returned rather than arriving at the room, realize it doesn't work and having to go back down the elevator to the front desk. The breakfast was OK, but very little variety. We stayed 2 weekend days and 3 weekdays. Both weekend days had the exact same hot items. Three week days had the exact same hot items. The layout of the standard King room was very awkward with the closet and microwave/refrigerator located on opposite sides of the same tiny, narrow hallway that led to the front door and the bathroom. Constant traffic jams with 2 people staying in the room. Over a 5-night stay I mentioned to the front desk clerk 3 times that there were no paper towels in the lobby bathroom and pointed out on the third time that I had already asked 2 previous times for paper towels to be restocked. Only then did the desk clerk take care of it. He/She was relying on housekeeping to take care of it, but never followed up to make sure it was done. The decision to have the rain gutters empty on the sidewalks leading to the front door of the hotel is not good for a rainy day or night. The mattress definitely had a valley where multiple people had slept and compacted the mattress. My back was not happy. Cleanliness was fine, I have no complaints about that. Staff were certainly pleasant enough but the attention to detail and follow-up was greatly lacking. This can make the difference between a great stay and a not-so-great stay. I urge management to make some changes so that this hotel can offer a better experience.

I was having surgery and had to report at 5:30 AM. Due to the long drive, we decided to stay here the night before. Room was exceptional, beds were comfortable, and front desk was very friendly. Close to great restaurants and shopping.

Good for an over nite stay. Pool water was cold but hot tub was nice. Breakfast fine. I don't mean to sound picky but I thought the curtains were kinda tacky. I feel like a more neutral pallet would be restful for guests.The next morning we noticed no one at the desk for the time we ate breakfast.

Needed a hotel due to bad weather and had to stop driving for the night. Booked reservation through an app and thought this was the best deal and one of the closest options. Turned out to be a great choice. Excellent night sleep and enjoyed grabbing breakfast before heading out.

Comfortable room. Plenty of parking in the back. Pep's 3 main criteria all were met: cold AC, comfortable bed, hot shower with good water pressure. Lots of TV channels via Direct TV. Basic Best Western hotel. Close by to lots of restaurants. I'm pretty picky about hotels. This Best Western seemed fine for my one-night stay. One fairly slow elevator. If you're coming in from north/east on 84, you have to go past the hotel to the next exit, make a U-Turn and come back. If you want to leave the hotel and go east/north on 84, tip: go out the back of the hotel, take a right, go to the dead end, turn right beside the strip center and you'll be able to hit the onramp to 84.

I stayed in a nice room with a jetted Jacuzzi tub. There was a mini fridge and little kitchen area with a small sink, and there was lots of storage space if I needed it. It was cleaned thoroughly, and I wasn't rushed out the next morning by housekeeping. checkout was not until noon and I enjoyed myself up until the last minute. I enjoyed the indoor pool and I was able to print of some paperwork I needed from the business office for no cost. I will probably stay there again. They could spend a little extra money on their continental breakfast.

Stay here when have barrel races in Waco, not again. Checked in at 10 p.m. NO HOT WATER, reported it, received a call at 11:30 p.m. and was told it would be 2 hours before able to use since the boiler had to be reset. Next morning went to use the laundry the washer did not produce water only spun and another guest came in while I was in there and stated the dryer didn't work either as she was drying her clothes on the A/C unit in her room. We came back to the hotel later that evening and I had my key ready to enter the doorway from the back parking lot as the sign indicated the doors remain locked from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and to my surprise the door was unlocked and free for any stranger to walk the hallways (NOT SAFE for guests). I reported this to Best Western Corporate (as I am a Platinum member) and it was also reported to the manager, Andy Patel, who responded to my negative review on Best Western website. I have been emailing him back and forth and requested that the Friday night stay be credited since there was no hot water and he stated "I apologize again, but we will not be able to issue a refund. Certain things happen that are completely out of hand but we try our very best to get them back in working condition. And in this case, I believe we were able to get everything back in order and working condition." Guess I should have NOT reported the hot water outage and let them get slammed with calls the following morning from all of the guests. Won't stay here again

Basic American motel. The room was large enough, but shopworn in a few places, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast (which didn't open until 7 a.m.) was the usual for this kind of motel. We could hear people in the next room (we're glad they were not loud). The first night a spider dropped onto the bed from who knows where. Bottom line: adequate, but hardly luxurious.

For starters, for a hotel that doesn't allow dogs, I had dog fur and what smelled like dog urine on the couch. We let the staff know, and they cleaned it up no problem. The staff said earlier that there was a service dog in the room. Later on that night while getting ready for bed, me, my mother and sister saw TWO bugs crawling on the lamp. My sister killed one and the other fell and we couldn't find it. I went to the front desk to ask, Whitney (the employee at the time) politely could she possibly move us to another room because on top of the dog hair earlier, we just saw TWO bugs. She immediately responded and said, “it wasn't dog hair because we don't allow dogs at this hotel and we are completely booked”. I responded and said, “The manager earlier said it was a service dog. I just watched her give a couple a room. I went to our room and let my mom know that she couldn't move us. My mom went out and asked another older because Whitney had just gotten off if she could give us another room, and immediately she began to search for another room for us. Whitney then came from the back office with a flashlight and told my mom and I to, “come on let's go find this bug, let me see it!” in a extremely sarcastic voice. We went to the room to show her the bug, she saw it, and began to state that she didn't have any other room except one we would have to pay the difference on, my mom said, “no, I can't do that.” Whitney then yelled, “Ladies, I am the manager!!!! I cannot give you another room, we are completely booked” So at this point, I began to record and in the recording she gave me consent and said, “I don't care, you can record me all that you want to!” She stormed out of the room, headed back to the front desk where she yelled, “Fine! I can figure out some way to F%#$ing move you!” She (Whitney, redhead) returned back to the desk with the older lady (never got name) and said, “You can handle it!” Whitney began to argue with my mom saying that there wasn't a bug, when she (Whitney) clearly saw it and saying that they were booked. She then asked my mom, “Do you not understand, can you not comprehend, are you dumb?!” Whitney went back to the office and called the manager (the real Manager) Andy, as the older lady continue to search for a room. Andy instructed Whitney to, “call 911!” The cops came, and longer story short, Andy told us to leave the hotel! That day this happened, I had just had surgery and my mom and sister had traveled from another city to take care of me because I am a college student here in Waco by myself. We had NO WHERE to go that night! In my years and experience in management, Whitney would have been fired a long time ago. Out of all of the traveling that me and my family have done, I've never experienced this sort of treatment from staff or management. Not to mention, Right before the cops escorted us out, two girls went to the front desk and said, “we are checking out and we want our money back for tonight because everything was sketchy when we first got here, they gave us a key to another persons room and acted as though they didn't care!” And immediately no questions asked, WHITNEY gave them their money back, their receipt, and they left the hotel! I recorded that part too! I have it ALL on CAMERA! For anyone who wants more information on this review, hotel, and staff, feel free to call me for proof, pictures, and videos!

Andy told Whitney to called the police because Whitney the front desk person told him a lie. I went to the desk and complained about bugs after earlier that day room smelling like a dog and dog hair in the recliner chair. Whitney came from behind the desk with a flashlight and stood a the elevator and said come on she me the bug! I said my room down the hall so Whitney came in the room and said where is the bug? When see was already looking at it and pretended she didn't see it and I said there! Whitney looked at it and said that's not a f---king bug that a big ass ant and I walked out the room with her walking behind me. Whitney saw my daughter with the phone and said so are you recording me? Go ahead I don't care. I got back to the front desk and the older lady was getting me another room and Whitney started back saying something to me because my daughter a d I was talking about what happened. Whitney said I don't no more room to put y'all in, then said you will have to pay the difference for suite. I said I already paid and it's not my fault after dealing with a service dog hair and smelly room per Andy, it was a service dog. Whitney said I was going to you give you another room but because your girlfriend over there running her mouth I'm not, which was my daughter, not my girlfriend. Whitney said are y'all stupid or what? Whitney when to the back telling the older lady to deal with it. The next thing I know Whitney came back to the desk with Andy Moore the General manager on the phone, places it to the older lady ear while she was looking for is another room. The older gave Whitney back the phone and Whitney said standing right here you want to talk to her. I heard Andy said no if they are rude call 911 and Whitney called the Woodway PD, one came in and took me to breakfast area and ask what happened, I told him then 4 more came. Only three stayed, one sat in the lobby 2 talked to me again asking what happened, I told them they went up from to ask the older lady and Whitney what happened. One officer ask did we threaten her, we said no that's a lie if she said that. The police said he didn't know if we could get another room or money back "the hotel have the right to ask you to leave and they don't or can't do anything about it, it's a civil case. The police said the Manager Andy Moore want y'all to leave so we packed our stuff and left.

Gave me key to another person's room. Didn't seem to know which rooms were booked and not. Then we got a room with a king bed when we requested one with double beds. No hot water. We were in Waco to run a marathon. Breakfast didn't start til 7am, and our marathon started at 7. Will not stay here again. Expensive room. Not worth the price.

There were some issues with this hotel. The staff was all wonderful and very friendly and helpful. But the housekeeping was shoddy and the first day we stayed our room did not get made up at all. Front desk staff was very apologetic and gave us clean towels, but housekeeping was already gone for the day, so our room was not made up. The breakfast was only average and not at all on par with what we have come to expect from Best Western. Coffee was truly horrible, selection was small and most items were not that good. The one positive was the front desk staff. They were fantastic and very helpful with directions and advice on the local area. The décor was nice, but as I said housekeeping was underwhelming. It is located in a good part of Waco, at least for us and the things we wanted to do.

Poor greeting by attendant that, by actions, would rather have been somewhere else, the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned, the fiber fill in the bed comforter was lumpy, the mattress had no support whatsoever (woke up with an aching back), there were silver fish climbing the walls and there was no outdoor lounge are. I have stayed at other BW hotels on several occasions but have never experienced anything like this. It was priced just a few dollars less than the area hotel suites. Not worth staying there again.

Every time we spoke to the front desk we felt as if we were bothering them. The breakfast was horrible. The “heated” pool was 35 degrees per my husbands thermometer. We went as a celebration for my son making good grades and it was a waste

from beginning to end, the stay at this hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions for places to eat. The gym was nice to work out in, the breakfast was ample for the morning meal.

Good value for your money. Quiet place where people seemed to mind their own business and move on. Hot breakfast, which is included, is a big plus... saves you some money that you'll definitely need if your going to partake in the “fixer upper” frenzy as it is ridiculously overpriced.

I would recommend choosing one of the many others options to stay while in Waco. Nice building but the room service is horrible, the beds are very hard and the heaters are very loud. The breakfast is ok,

Travel often and have used this hotel in the past and have had good experiences previously. My co-worked and I were in town for a series of meetings that were leading to us sending multiple crews into the area for a large project. When we walked into this hotel around 3:15 we were met by one of the workers behind the counter. We could get the vibe she didn't want to be disturbed or to check us in. She was rude and treated us poorly. My co-worked even said that he had never been snarled at before. This continued the next day also. The great thing is this was our hotel of choice however there are a ton of options in the area and she lost a bunch of business in the future. Maybe they don't care.

Reserved for a business trip, need it to make a change to the reservation, manager refused. Was a regular visitor. Loyalty means nothing to this hotel. Good this there are plenty of choices. I thought the rule is you should tried to accommodate your clients as much as possible, not here!

We are having a family weekend in Waco and are enjoying the Best Western. Nicely appointed and clean rooms, friendly staff, Indoor Pool and Jacuzzi, complimentary Breakfast Buffet. Good prices, free parking, and Great Location.

We were very happy with the hotel. We had a king executive suite and loved the spaciousness. Very nice option for the price. The breakfast was delicious. Housekeeping was very thorough every day. The only negative thing for us was the rooms were not sound proof. Thankfully it wasn't as much an issue at night, but road noise was very loud and for some reason every time someone closed a door nearby our door would shake and rattle in the frame. But we enjoyed our stay and would repeat.

Where do I start,..... so disappointed with this Hotel. I visit Waco ever month to check in on my Autistic Son that is in College. This was our 2nd time here, as we Stayed here a year ago at this time. I need to know there was some challenges back then I decided to give this hotel a second try. We arrived about an hour and a 1/2 early before check in on Wednesday, We were greeted by no one at the front desk. As a very young man with dark hair finally approached us his response was, what do you need...... Really are you kidding me what do you need. I told him we needed to check in he very rudely said check in is at 3 o'clock in there was nothing he could do about. Set number this was Wednesday at 1:30 the hotel is not busy at. So we asked where the laundry facilities were and proceeded to go there to wash my son's clothes from college. The machines were a mess and it took 4 hours to do to loads also disappointing. When we finally made it to our Room after checking annum between 230 and quarter to 3 we found that the TV had been disconnected, So we called the front desk on how to fix that and then realized we had been given a handicap Room. With both my son and I being tall people this is never a good thing, But after going to all we had with the rude man at the front task I felt trapped and stayed where we were. I believe in customer service 1st, I will try farther for good customer service and I will anything else. This hotel lacked even 1% of good customer service, I never stay here again unless there is a change in their staff. And since I come to Waco every month, I'm sure plenty of other hotels will be happy to have our business.

Charged me for an extra room because Adrian at front desk confused my reservation. When I arrived the night person, Whitney, promised the manager would correct this and make it right. She told me to use the extra room because they couldn't sell it now anyway and she didn't have authority to cancel. They will respond to this with their own version of the story which is all LIES. The manager here could care less about your experience or complaints. Took him one month to call me back and he refuses to resolve the issue. Very rude and unprofessional not to mention he is highly unethical. The persons working the front are no better. They don't answer phone....rings over and over. Took me 5 tries to get them to answer the day I was coming in. If you need anything from Adrian, good luck. She is completely incompetent. Breakfast is awful here

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel in 6 months. The first 2 stays were good. This stay was terrible. There has been a turnover of personnel and they are rude and unfriendly. I will NOT stay at this location again and I will recommend to friends that they avoid this hotel.

They need to advertise the indoor pool. I wish I had known. After a full "Magnolia" this and that day, i was ready. We were in town to experience the Chip and Joanna effect. Neat town and some really nice people.

Excellent clean hotel. Rooms are very nice and large. Beds were wonderful and clean. Bathroom was large, clean, and very well stocked. Nice well stocked breakfast and eating area. Staff was really nice. Close to so may thins including Baylor. Recommend!

My family traveled to Waco for my brother's wedding and chose to stay at the Best Western. The area is great with several restaurants and shopping just a few minutes' drive away. Check-in was a little odd as we got there about 20 minutes before check-in officially started and we were told rooms weren't ready and then the attendant just disappeared. Another woman started her shift about 10 minutes later and got us immediately checked-in and apologized for the delay. I'm not sure what was going on with the first woman. Our room was very spacious and beds were very comfortable. We tried out the pool in the evening, which to our delight was very warm. My daughter had a blast swimming while I relaxed in the hot tub. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! They had many choices such as smoked sausage, omelets, French toast, waffles, pastries, cereal, and much more. They even had almond milk for my daughter who is lactose intolerant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again if in the area.

Stayed in Waco for a job interview and I was extremely pleased with my whole stay. Breakfast was super yummy, the staff were all so kind, the room was beautiful and clean; and oh my gosh, y'all, these beds are the best I've ever slept in at a hotel! Best sleep I've had at a hotel in a while. Hands down. Highly recommend this for anyone traveling on business or leisure!

We book several hotel rooms every year for our bus trips. This hotel we held 15 rooms for and was sent a contract showing a 2 week prior cancellation policy. We sent them a rooming list at 3 weeks prior to arrival and heard nothing from them. When my escort contacted them to re-confirm, they told us they cancelled our reservation 30 days prior to arrival. There was NOTHING ON THE CONTRACT stating there was a 30 day prior cancellation clause. They didn't bother to contact us to tell us they were cancelling nor did they call us when they received the rooming list. The hotel manager REFUSED to work with us to cover the $100 additional charge we incurred to find other accommodations last minute. We would've taken $50 per room but NO, they kept saying they were not at fault. If you have policies, I suggest you put them on the CONTRACT so people know what's going on. We tried contacting Corporate and they are siding with the hotel and stating there is nothing they can do because each hotel is independently owned. My company will NEVER book Best Western's again so they all loose out. Customers beware if you're trying to book a block of rooms..........you'll get screwed!

You never know what you are going to get when you stay at a Best Western... this one gets high marks. Clean, great amenities, nice breakfast bar. Trust the photos for accurate depiction. We will definitely book here again.

This is a hotel of contrasts. Below you will find several positive reviews, and several negative. Nothing consistent, and I guess that is the story. I am attaching several photos, so let me use those to highlight my concerns. First, the front desk : the view you see here was the view all weekend. i.e. there was nobody there ! I mean really ! The hotel was full, but on only one occasion, of the dozens of ins and outs, did we see someone at the front desk, and it was for a check-out. And on the front desk was a dispenser, inviting us to use the tongs. For what ? There was never anything in there ! (It is important to note that this was Baylor Homecoming weekend, and so the rates were sky high . . . I guess this must be one of their highest ADR periods of the year. We paid approximately $300 per night.). Paltry Halloween decorations were still up, but not even a nod to Baylor's Homecoming. Next, chemicals. This hotel uses Ecolab products, presumably to mask some sort of odor, but the pungent-smelling chemicals were absolutely terrible. When we arrived at our room, my wife asked me if I had a cold, I was streaming so badly. During the night, when she could not sleep for the smell, she had to venture to the front desk to see if there was any solution. In the end, we agreed to place our 'do not disturb' sign all day, to keep housekeepers and chemicals at bay, and the second night was better. As noted by others, there is not enough parking at this hotel when it is full. Look at these poor folks who had to park on the grass verge. Th hotel has evidently been remodeled, and not badly, I would say, but the lack of attention to detail tells you a lot about the owners and managers. See my two bathroom shots . . . a very distressed door and damaged tiling. Not nice for $300 per night ! Elsewhere, on day one, the coffee was cold and the orange juice was coming out of the dispenser like water. When I brought this to the attention of the 'day manager' she actually told me to go and find the breakfast staff and tell them ! We have four years as Baylor parents, so we will be in Waco regularly, but we will not be returning here . . . there are far better facilities available in the area. (And a footnote . . . who in the world told Best Western that the new red signs are an improvement ? At night they are passable, when lit, but during the day they look drab, uninteresting and they are easy to drive past).

When I arrived at hotel 2 young ladies were really busy checking in other people so i patiently waited. The one looked like a manager as she smiled and acknowledged me said would be right with me as it seemed she was helping the other one, maybe a new hire?First impression means the most, she seemed sincere. However another guy came in through front door and when he came to front the manager looking lady said hi and he ignored her then proceded to look at a text on his watch. I guess he was the relief he had to count money and it seemed he was angry for whatever reason. The manager looking lady tried to speak to him once more filling him in on stuff from what i could hear and he wouldnt even look at her so she just turned back to other girl to help her with something on computer. I could tell she just gave up trying to talk to him. She was leaving as i got to check in said bye and again he said nothing. The whole time this lady just smiled back at us people. When the young man checked me in he was very short , no eye contact, seemed like i was a bother. On top of that he was looking at text again on his watch when he was giving me my room keys. Really??? Cant stay off to do your job. I felt he was very disrespectful and i applaud the manager (not sure if she is) for keeping her cool. When I asked him when breakfast was he said its on the sign behind you but it starts at 7. Rude!!! Then I guess he thought i was done and said okay then, and just stared at me like I needed to leave the desk. I had other questions but i was already irritated with him. I came back later to desk and he was doing something on computer i said excuse me, he continued to look down and just said yea then looked up like i was interrupting him i asked him about food places and he said we put them on that paper and didnt give any recommendations. This guy is very unprofessional beyond measure. Why would you put him in contact with people at your establishment. If i were that lady that was there earlier i would of fired him. I want to thank lady for smiling and showing kindness in a busy time. As for the ethnic man he needs to learn people skills and to respond to other employees. When i checked out same lady from yesterday was back and i informed her of the mans rudeness she apologized and seemed like she cared said thats not how we uphold themselves and she hoped we would come back.

Wasn't expecting above average service at this hotel but they did a great job. Allowed us to check in early, and even offered us a to go breakfast in the morning because we were leaving before breakfast was available. Room was great. I have no complaints with this place!

The Best Western was clean and the staff was friendly the rooms were big and the Internet was excellent! The pool was a good size as was the hot tub! It was clean inside and outside and it had a covered area to unload your luggage which was nice for us since it was raining

This is a bit of a drive to the new Waco phenomena place, but it is a lot less expensive than somewhere near there. Really good hotel. If you get this place in a bid consider yourself lucky. Not a bad breakfast.

On my second day at this hotel my sister lost her keys and while we were searching for them we discovered 2 dead CRICKETS by the sofa. My sister went to the front desk to ask for someone to come vacuum (asap since we had a baby with us who was crawling all over). The manager told her that we must be wrong and there definitely weren't crickets in our room ... my sister returned to the room, took pictures, and went back to the front desk and still instead of just sending someone to get rid of them the manager tried to blame her and said that our bags must have been in the cleaning lady's way. I really don't know why it was so difficult just to ask someone to bring a vacuum to our room. Finally we just asked the cleaning lady ourselves and the crickets were gone when we came back that evening.

The hotel is located off of a highway but it is very quiet. The room has new decor and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and we appreciated the non-slip floor in the bathtub, the grab bar in the shower, and the dual soap dishes. Most hotels do not have all of these. The breakfast area was kept very clean and tidy. The food was hot as appropriate and the food well stocked. Even though the hotel is located off of a highway, we did not hear any traffic noise until around 6:00am when we were getting up. It was easy to get on/off the highway. We are not used to the Texas off/on ramp set-up on the highways but once we figured it out, the access to the hotel was quite simple. Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. We would definitely stay here if we were back in this area.

As my usual place to stay while in Waco I had another good nights sleep. Parking is tight here but I've learned to go eat early and get back... no problem this trip cause I was dead tired... the best and pillows were great and the dark quiet room made for a good nights sleep. The only issue is the same ole boring scrambled eggs and too crispy bacon... PLEASE yall get some western omelets.... or something.. us weekly travelers are sick and tired of boring breakfast. Other than that it was a good stay at a fair price.

The staff is very pleasant and the hotel is one of the cleanest I have been to. The beds are really comfy and the breakfast is hot and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Over all our stay was nice. The location is just outside of Waco and it is much less crowded. The hotel was nice. We had some repairs in our room that were not the best ie ( sheet rock) but, it was clean, the air conditioner worked great!!! bed eh

So, it's been literally years since staying at a Best Western - was a nice change from the days I recall. Microwave and mini frig - plus tons of pillows. Definitely will consider staying at BW in the future. Oh and breakfast was decent - I got my fill.

I stay at best Westerns anywhere from 1 to 2 to even four times a week. They are all very consistent. The Wi-Fi has been good every time except one time, they are always clean and comfortable. Check-in is easy checkout is very easy. The only problem with this one is that the parking lot is very small and I arrive at about 1030 at night. It seems like I am the last guest arriving and I always get literally the last parking spot. Most people would not be concerned about this is they would arrive earlier. Because of the market, this one is pricier than some of the other ones I stay in. You can't have everything.

The hotel was nice looking as we entered on the property. Although I'm not a fan of "frontage roads", it was worth the hassle to stop at this Best Western. Upon entering I had to wait 3-5 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. There was no instructions what to do if no one was at the desk. After being checked-in we proceeded to our room. The room was very nice and the bathroom was rather spacious. The bed was very comfortable for us (we do not like a hard or really soft bed so this worked quite well for us). We used the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The pool & spa area were well maintained and very clean/neat. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing in the number of selections available. As someone from the south and being in the south, I would have expected biscuits and gravy, however, that expectation was met with disappointment. What food I did have was good. Upon departure I walked by the front desk on three occasions and the person manning the desk did not look up once at me as I tried to say good morning. Upon my final exit I gave her the key and asked for a receipt. She asked if Best Western had my email on file, to which I replied yes. She stated the receipt had already been sent to my email address. After traveling the remainder of the day I checked my email and the receipt was not there. I called the hotel and the person who answered immediately sent me the receipt after hanging up. I felt at this Best Western I was an imposition to the staff (not all, just a couple of them) and as a result I couldn't wait to hit the road. I gave the overall rating a three (average) based upon the failures of the staff to make me feel like a valued customer. Otherwise the score could have been a 5.

A spacious and clean room, comfy beds and pillows, fantastic bathroom with a great shower head ... all that we needed. It was also a good breakfast experience. The man working in the breakfast area was very helpful and kept everything clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a VERY accommodating hotel. We couldn't find a cart for luggage. They helped us carry our bags. So helpful. My mom is 72 and walks slowly. Breakfast is good. Beds are comfortable. Great place to stay!!

The customer service was top notch, I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (though my husband found it to be adequate, not great). The room was clean and well kept, though there was a brown stain in the carpet. Parking was free, but the parking lot was oddly shaped, which actually made it a challenge to find a spot near the front of the building. The noise from Highway 84 was slightly bothersome (some sirens and car horns heard).

The hotel, by appearance, is average and the woman who checked us in during the evening was lovely. When we woke up to two cockroaches in our room, we weren't too happy. Since we spent time living in TX, we realize cockroaches sometimes are what they are. We shooed them out of our room and they were hanging out in the hallway. I was on my way downstairs so I let two young women know about them at the front desk about them, but they weren't concerned at all. In fact, I was waiting in the lobby and didn't see either of them pick up the phone or radio anyone to respond. Nice.

Clean hotel. Quiet. Modern and updated Has large breakfast buffet Do not go to George's no matter who recommends it. Worst place every to eat. It is a dump. Easy access to most sites. Weekends are a lot higher room cost. Make sure you check that before booking

Location good, next to highway on outer road, didn't see alot of traffic on outer road. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast, has pool and fitness center. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

Hotel was clean, friendly staff, great location, around lots of shopping and restaurants and just a few minutes away from Magnolia Table, Silos, and Market which are from the show Fixer Upper. Whataburger right down the road too, onion rings were fantastic.

I am a best western awards member. so I try to stay at best western when I can. This place lived up to the par. Breakfast was great, beds were great, indoor pool was a nice shock. Staff was very friendly. Only downside to the entire place was the tub. Normally tubs will have things in them to keep you from slipping. Not this tub. Being disabled as I am. I don't walk well. So we did get the room with all the extra stuff for disabled folks. The tub however was slippery. And yes, I found myself on my rear end calling for the wife. They need to put something in that tub to make sure nobody slips and hurts themselves.

I would stay at this hotel again. The outside appearance, the inside lobby, and the rooms are all very nice. The staff goes above and beyond to assist your every need. Even got a phone call 2 minutes after I got in the room to see if everything in the room was to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed 2 nights here. Great prices! The hotel had a very good breakfast. Beautifully decorated. The rooms were great and comfortable. Staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

If all you're looking for is a comfortable bed and a place to shower, this is it. The room was clean but reeked of cheap cleaning product. (Not a particularly pleasant scent.) The A/C works well but is kind of loud. My room was fairly quiet but my sister's room was not. When she complained about the noise to the front desk, the clerk (Kevin) was a class "A" jerk to her. (A as in A-hole.) The location is right off the freeway and not walking distance to anything else Hotel staff was a mixed bag of pleasant to not-so-pleasant. The breakfast on the weekends was good but during the week it was just okay. The bright spot was that they have great water pressure. If you have long hair, this is a plus. If you aren't looking for the hotel to be part of your all-around vacation experience, stay here.

The quality at Best Western Plus does not disappoint. The hotel staff are friendly and go out of the way to make traveling a great experience. We stayed as a group and there were 18 of us. Everyone was pleased with the stay as a whole. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great. Love the fact that there is always coffee available to us.

Stayed here 2 nights in April. The rooms were very nice, clean and updated. The hot breakfast was decent and changed daily. The only issue I had here was their almond milk turning chunky in my coffee. I asked for fresh and the breakfast attendant was unwilling to provide it, but the front desk attendant went and got a fresh carton for me. The beds were comfortable, but the pillow were not. It would have been nice to have a variety of pillow styles instead of 4 filled with chopped foam. They do not provide the support I prefer. Overall I would definitely stay here again - quite convenient to Extraco Center.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Stayed here on short notice. Checked in late and it was no problem. Room quite. Everyone was ready to help. Breakfast was superb with some hot foods like Holiday Inn Express. Location near shopping facilities. Would stay here again.

The place smells GREAT !! In the ROOMS... In the HALLS !!! Every were was CLEAN Breakfast was great. Staff was Great !! Would stay there ANYTIME !! Microwave and Fridge in the rooms. Close to all kinds of places to eat and shop. Freeway is close.

Really nice and clean hotel. The check in staff was very sweet. The pool area very clean and always kept with towels. Only downfall it's away from everything. You have to make a wide u turn to get to it. So you just can't go to corner store without going around the highway. Be prepared for bad coffee. Oh it was bad even the one downstairs. I am a coffee person and I had to go out of the hotel good drive to buy some. Gave it 4 because location and cleaning staff and breakfast staff look so unhappy. They never smile kinda like they hate their job look.

This hotel is a short distance from Waco and the Magnolia attractions. Check in was quick and the staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and pretty quiet. Breakfast had hot and cold options, and was very good.

We were returning home from a family wedding in Blanco. We had stayed in a Best Western there and that was why we chose another Best Western. We were very tired and very satisfied with this Best Western. It was quiet and comfortable.

This is my usual BW to stay at while in Waco. It is somewhat quieter than the other BW up on 35, but it still kinda noisy... not anything to eat walking distance but alot within 5 min drive. Room is kinda small but clean. I will return.

We flew to Austin and were to stay at a LaQuinta for three nights. After one night, we checked out. Reviews had been excellent and the place was a dump and way too expensive, plus a fee for parking. Went to an Extended Stay, tried two rooms and both were awful. Asked hotel manager to refund our money which he did. Drove to a Courtyard Marriott and asked to see the room before we checked in. It was adequate but nothing over and beyond. The Best Western Plus was very nice, clean, and the staff exceptional.

Stayed two nights while visiting family. Overall the stay was nice - hotel was quiet, room was clean, breakfast was typical free hotel breakfast. My boyfriend had a cut on his hand and the front desk staff gave us some basic first aid supplies to deal with it, which was helpful.

This was an excellent place to stay right down the road from Waco. We were greeted at check in by two of the friendliest "Inn Keepers" Adrian and Travis. They really set the tone for our 2 night stay. Conveniently located, clean and friendly. What more can you ask for?

I stayed here in 2016 and I gave it a 4 star rating, but I must say that they exceeded my expectations on my recent visit. The front desk personnel were friendly, exceedingly helpful, and committed to customer service. The lobby, breakfast area, and room were spotless. We slept soundly and the shower got a 5-star review from my travel buddy. Tip--put a wash cloth or hand towel in the tub as the bottom can be very slick. We had the queen bedroom with wet bar (nice convenience). The breakfast bar had a variety of selections, and it was replenished and attended to. The juices, biscuits, and croissants, were very good. It would have been nice if they had boiled eggs, some cheese, and a mixed fruit selection instead of whole apples and bananas. Tip--nuke the free cookies. For a chain hotel, this is almost a 5-star establishment.

We just stayed here this week. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The hotel staff was very courteous. The hotel breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a good variety. I would stay here again.

Very disappointing to know I'm a diamond rewards member and how bad our experience here was. No hot water in shower we were told it is regulated and only goes up to 100 degrees, when people are at a hotel they like to take HOT showers and relax. Breakfast could've been better, older lady at front counter was extremely rude, not enough parking at all! My main disappointment is how rude “Burgandy” was when I addressed the fact that we didn't have hot water in the shower. The maintenance man came up and agreed the water is not hot enough. We won't stay at this hotel anymore, will follow other reviews and stay at the Best Western Czech Inn.

Checked in the Hotel Staff was great. The Parking lot is not that big but offers parking in the rear. Breakfast was ok and the attendants were slow in keeping food out. Comfortable Bed, Small Bathroom.

Stayed here 2 nights. Seemed fairly new and modern. We of course were in the area to see Magnolia! Thought the price was very good and actually was the main reason we stayed. The only concern we have is there was no light in the coffee/sink area and really had to concentrate when mixing a drink or making coffee in the morning and not enough bright lights in the room. Breakfast was great. Was close to a great movie theater and great places to eat.

This property was originally built as a Holiday Inn Express, and it is as good under Best Western as it was then. Granite countertops in the bathroom. HI's touted shower-head. Not quite as luxurious as the nearby SpringHill suites but much less expensive for clean, comfortable accommodations. Nice discount for multiple-night stays.

Wasn't sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised! Front desk staff were very pleasant. Room was nice enough and, most importantly, clean. Not in walking distance of sites in Waco but within minutes drive. Would definitely stay here on my next Wacodrive.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It was close to restaurants and a movie theater. The newspapers available allowed you to see what was going on in the area. The breakfast was not the same everyday and included "full breakfast items"; waffles, French toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon or sausage, variety of juices, coffee, milk, fresh fruit with ample seating for guests. The cookies at the front desk was a nice touch as well.

All staff was helpful. Breakfast was good the first day and even better the second day. great stay. I Would definitely stay again. Room keys had to be rekeying but staff was nice and helpful. room was clean.

Everything was great. The beds are wonderful. The breakfast is terrific. The customer service can not be beat. It was a very nasty night outside and this place was warm and inviting. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

This is my favorite hotel in Waco now. The quality of the property is a great value for the price; Adrian at the front desk is Texas friendly; and the property has the best water pressure I have ever found. I have stayed at this property the last three times I was in Waco and will always consider it first.

We are reward members and have stayed in Best Westerns all over the country and this one was surprisingly the best we have stayed in. Everything was perfect from the room to the staff and can't think of one negative thing to say. Our room had a whirlpool tub and not only was it very clean but it was roomy for two people.

We ate a lot of different restaurants an went seen the silos had cupcakes at bakery walk along the river Went to Texas ranger museum Dr Pepper museum all of which was within 15 minutes of the best western motel an every local person we met was nice

I stayed at this hotel with my two sons for a night . From the get go I spoke with a lady on the phone about if any rooms were available she said yes and asked, if I would like to book, I said no I was on way. When I arrived the young lady, whose name was Nikki, remembered me from the call, she was very friendly and helpful as to places to take my son's for dinner. Not many hotels have staff that are smiling the minute someone walks in or eager to help with any questions. The room was very clean, as well as the pool. The overall look from time we walked in was great. They even decorated for christmas. We enjoyed the breakfast as well, very filling. Whenever we came down my boys spoke to Nikki and shw did not act as though they were a nuisance, she engaged in talking with them and even made them laugh. I will be back because of her eagerness and friendliness she showed us , made us feel at home and as if we knew each other for years. That is the kind of staff you want to keep around. I will be back very soon to stay here

I was most impressed with our stay at the BW Woodway Waco. The staff including housekeeping and breakfast hostesses were friendly. The bed was very comfortable, lots of space in the room, clean, good breakfast!

Overall this was an excellent stay! I had room 362 which was very spacious and convenient to the elevator and vending machine. However, there was quite a bit of noise that bled through from the hallway in the morning when housekeeping was cleaning and vacuuming. Also, there were several Styrofoam containers of leftover food in the fridge when I checked in. This was probably just an oversight. I asked for a trash bag to remove them when I was at the front desk but the receptionist said she would have housekeeping clear it out. A couple of hours later I removed the items myself along with 3 unopened bottles of Blue Moon beer. A couple of hours after that housekeeping arrived to pick the stuff up. I noticed that the beers were put on top of the cart and not in the trash bag lol ;) Party in housekeeping! Otherwise everyone was exceptionally friendly from management to front desk to housekeeping. The place is a little older but kept in excellent condition. The sofa and the bed were super comfy and bathroom was very nice. Toiletries included a shower cap, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The shower had great water pressure and the shower head had adjustable sprays. The first day's hot breakfast included bacon and eggs and biscuits and gravy- all of which were very good. The second day had omelets, sausage links, and hash brown patties- of which I would only recommend the sausage. The cold items were the standard- muffins, bagels, cereals, fruit, juices, etc. There is also a grab and go option with some of the cold items. The wifi worked well but I did have to call the help number to get it set up on my laptop. But it was quick and easy fix. Everything worked well and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas too! Overall an excellent stay.

The Best Western Plus on Woodway Dr.Waco Texas 76712 is not good the washer is broken the staff isn't friendly don't go here runn from this place.The room was clean everyday the coffee was cold it was a good location for my job.My work cloth was not clean for two weeks.I work all day and couldn't use out side laundry mates they was all close.

Overall good but need to re-evaluate the handicapped room basics. Good no entry barrier in the shower, but the shower head was terrible. The closet in the room was not only too low to hang things without dragging the floor but also too shallow to use a hanger correctly. The beds were extremely low and hard to get up from. People don't have to be in a wheelchair to need handicapped room. Some have mobility issues/balance issues without sitting in a wheelchair.

On the last evening of our 4 night stay, we arrived back at the hotel to find that our door was ajar. Was this because the housekeeping staff did not ensure the door was pulled tight? Fortunately, nothing was missing, but the fact that the door was not locked was disturbing.

Spent a weekend in Waco for shopping. I had chosen this hotel from other positive reviews. The hotel looked nice but when we got to our room, there was makeup and stains on our sheets. When the manager was called, he did not offer another room, but brought new sheets for US to change the bed. Really unprofessional. Worst place ever.

Our stay at Best Western was very enjoyable. The rooms were Super clean and smelled good. The free breakfast and high speed internet were a nice bonus. The front desk staff and cleaning crews were very friendly and professional. We will be using Best Western hotels for all of our future reservations.

Our room was very complete;safe, ironing board,mirrored closet, nice TV & chest, office chair and desk. The bar sink area outside the bathroom also had a MW, frig and coffee maker.The tall ceilings and crown molding are a nice touch. The bathroom has a great mirror for shaving with ample light. The water pressure was good and we had ample hot water. The exhaust fan sounded like something from a 50's horror movie. There was good vanity top space and the towels were good. The in-room hot tub isn't to our liking. The breakfast was fast and furious. We've never stay overnight on Thanksgiving but a lot of people were here. The breakfast people were having a difficult time keeping up with demand. There was also a lack of seating. Perhaps the easy chairs and coffee table near the fireplace could be replaced with two more dining tables. This feels like a newer hotel.Everything seems to be clean and in working order. Including the speedy wifi system. The king bed slept very well. My gripe is the dominate cleaning solution smell. It permeates everything. Ugh! So if your nose doesn't work overtime you will enjoy your stay.

Our expectations were exceeded. The breakfast items were continually being replenished and the area tidied. Beds were comfy and rooms very clean. Service was attentive and friendly. The air in the breakfast area was adjusted immediately upon my request. I have kids at Baylor U and this is my new favorite hotel!

The hotel was very clean and updated but the room decor did not match and is pretty cheap. The breakfast that everyone raves about was not seen by us at all. It was very typical included breakfast food. Not one staff member was seen during our 45 mins of breakfast at a normal time (7:15-8am). We did have a suite with a separate bedroom because we were traveling with a baby. The setup of the room was perfect for us so we could all get a good night of sleep before traveling back home after a conference in SAT.

I have stayed in this Hotel every time I go to Waco if it is available. The GM is top notch and his staff is equal to the expectation he sets. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is hot and pretty good. The pool area is clean. Overall you cant beat this hotel in Waco.

5 calls and 2+ hours of listening to loud partying neighbors is ridiculous! We got 3 hours of sleep because the front desk worker wouldn't be bothered to do anything. BW has made some nice update to their hotels, comfy beds but the pillows are awful. Breakfast is decent but about the same as most others, cereal, reheated eggs, sausage/bacon, muffins

Never in my life have I ever reviewed a hotel that I have stayed at, but this one deserved the time it takes. Adrian and Nikki were amazing from the moment I walked through the door and the hotel was immaculate and had great aesthetics. Clean, large, well decorated rooms and comfy bed! I have not stayed at a Best Western since childhood (a long time ago) and was blown away. Can't say enough! Will definitely return again and again.

This hotel was great. When I was looking for a hotel for a trip to Waco I read tons of hotel reviews and settled on this hotel. It far surpassed my expectations. Room was clean and spacious. No breakfast wasn't anything amazing but filled me up. My only real complaint is that parking is limited.

We went to Waco to visit Magnolia Silos. The hotel's location was convenient for us. The hotel was clean and quiet. The amenities were fine. More food choices nearby would have been more convenient. We'd stay there again if we were in the Waco area.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The people at the front desk are friendly, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast food is good, it is easy to drive to in Waco. Halloween treats were available at the front desk.

The Best Western on Highway 84 in Waco, Texas had a perfect combination of well-trained staff, cleanliness, comfort and value for money spent. A "well-oiled machine" with heart. Take it from someone who has stayed at the Empress in Victoria, The Banff Springs, The Broadmoor--all five star hotels and worth the money spent--this little humble hotel gets really well-deserved recognition for attention to excellence. Although not a fancy resort nor an expensive destination, we will return there every time we're passing through the area.

We came last minute, and they were very accommodating, reassuring, and knowledgeable! Rooms and facilities were very clean! Staff was very friendly and gave practical suggestions. Close to shopping, Baylor, and Magnolia Silos.

Checking in was clear and easy, our room was conveniently close to the lobby, we weren't bothered by anyone, good variety of cable tv, super fast internet, tasty and hot breakfast was at needed temperature. The room was super clean, which is our main concern when traveling. Also breakfast and WiFi was included in our stay, FREE! 10 minutes from the Magnolia Silos in Waco, near a movie theater, near fast food food, easy access to main highways.

We came to Waco for a girl's trip to the Silobration and booked this hotel in early May- one of the best priced options at the time of booking! The hotel staff I encountered was very nice, especially the front desk clerk at check-in the afternoon of 10/11/17 (can't remember his name). The room was very spacious and clean. While I only ate breakfast at the hotel one morning of my stay, it did offer a decent selection of foods. I also know that the breakfast selection featured different items each day. My mom ate breakfast there twice and enjoyed the biscuits and gravy offered one day she went. It's also close to a lot of shopping centers, and it's only a 15 min drive to the Silos. Definitely a recommended hotel if you'll be in the Waco area!

Tge room was spacious, the shower gaff good pressure and the bed was clean and comfortable. I stayed in the Jacuzzi suit and it did not disappoint. The prices were higher that usual because the fair was in town.

I thought the cost was a little out of line considering what we had paid a couple of years ago at another hotel in the same area and what was advertised on the internet. I know there was several things going on in town so of course the price was raised because all the hotels were booked solid.

This is one of the cleanest Best Westerns we have ever experienced. Highest quality service and professional staff. Highly recommend this Best Western to anyone visiting Waco, Texas. Also very convenient to main highways and Loop 340.

Nice hotel , staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking not bad. Lots of places to eat close by. Right off the freeway close and comfortable. Ice on every floor and vending machines with drinks on every floor. Pool is small but hot tub was good.

The reviews for this hotels are fake.we stayed in room 330. The room had a very distinct musty, moldy odor. The linen had multiple hairs on the sheets. A pull back of the cover revealed a stain on the wrinkled sheets and makeup smudges on a pillowcase. Upon informing the front desk, we were told no other queen rooms were available and was moved into a king suite which was not much better. The carpet was heavily stained with black marks and the air unit was so noisy that you couldn't sleep. Everything in the room felt icky. We were tired after a late flight arrival and two hour drive from Dallas. The reviews said this was the second best hotel in Waco which is truly false. This was a former Holiday Inn that is now a rundown seedy motel.

Everything was perfect! Each breakfast had a different special..one day, western omlet and sausage and hashbrowns; next day,cheese omlet and sausage and pancakes, and finally, pigs in the blanket, scrambled eggs and hash browns. This is addition to cold cereals, yougarts, fresh fruit, breads,bagels, croissants and pastries! Great shower pressure, and three towels!!! Friendly staff. And we got a gift bag with waters, Oreos, and popcorn for being Best Western members.

We went to Waco to visit the "Silo's" and were very happy with the hotel we chose. The staff was very helpful, giving us easy directions to the Silos and Magnolia Bakery and Market. The room was comfortable, soft bed, plenty of room. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I have Been traveling to Waco for business, for a while now, and I try to stay at Hilton's when i can, however this was the closest hotel available to where i was going on my first trip, and now its my place of choice! This hotel is putting Hilton properties in the area to shame! Mr.. Brown and his Service oriented team always welcome me by name and a smile. Its got small issues like clogged bathtubs (which got taken care of right away) but this happens in the best of places. The hotel is comfortable, well lit at night, indoor pool, and the staff is helpful. Give it a chance,

It has been over three years since we stayed at this hotel, but a good online price was attractive for a one-night stay while moving our daughter to BU and we knew we wouldn't be in the room until evening and leaving early in the morning. My biggest issue is where the hotel is located. It is on the outer road down Waco Road and you need to take the U-turn and head back north to reach it. However, that being said, this was a great stay! The hotel has been renovated in the last few years and while you can tell it is an older hotel, things inside are up-to-date, modern and clean. It's not luxury - but standard for this level of hotel. I requested a room on the top floor and was given a very quiet, very spacious king. It had room for a desk, chair and ottoman and a large bathroom. Microwave and small fridge kept water and wine cold! And, it was extremely quiet. The A/C unit was a bit loud when it would turn on, but most hotel units are like that. Check-in was quick and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I only had coffee in the morning, but the buffet looked well stocked, included both hot and cold offerings, and it was very clean. We prefer hotels closer to campus - but I would not hesitate to stay at this Best Western again. And, being set back from the road, it was less noisy from road traffic.

Nice location near the Richland Mall, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable beds, good TV, adequate breakfast options, though I would have preferred eggs to the burrito among the hot options. The indoor pool looked nice, and there was a large jacuzzi, but both were closed for maintenance during my stay.

My husband and I found this hotel to be clean with cool comfortable rooms and an amazingly efficient and friendly staff. We traveled with a group of (mostly) senior citizens. Everyone seemed pleased with their accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Best Western for a TAB art teacher conference. The staff were extremely welcoming, and helpful at check in. We were very comfortable in the room, and appreciated the updated decor. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety.

The pool had way too much chlorine. I complained to front desk staff, she said she would phone her manager. Not sure if she did, pool stayed open. Chlorine smell was so bad it burnt our eyes and made us cough for the rest of the evening. I felt like I had bronchitis.

My family and I always stay at this hotel whenever we come into town (4 to 8 times a year), and I have always been very happy with every aspect of our stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the breakfast is always good, and the front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. So, when my son's baseball tournament was originally scheduled to take place in the woodway/waco area, I made sure that I had a room reserved. As usual, I made the non-refundable reservation through a third party online booking agency, but would pay the hotel directly upon my arrival. At the last minute, the tournament location changed to Seguin, TX. After speaking with the hotel staff directly, we were able to cancel the reservation without penalty. However, a few days later, I noticed that the hotel did in fact charge my card for the 3 night stay. So I called the front desk and spoke with a lady named Veronica, and explained to her the situation. She apologized for any miscommunication, and while there was no record of us cancelling the reservation, she immediately went to work on refunding us the entire amount charged. She was nothing but helpful, cheerful, calming, and understanding, and it is because of her that my family and I will forever be loyal patrons of this hotel. I urge any and all to stay here. The staff truly makes the difference.

It was a hot July day and all I cared about was the room! It was not on the top floor but it was quiet, clean and very cool. Bed was very comfortable, didn't hurt when I got up in the morning. Would stay there again, was a little out from downtown Waco but pretty easy to get to and from.

Checked in for a 2 nite stay, look like a new hotel (5 yrs ) Beth nice & very clean & spacious rooms . Young lady that checked us in was frindly , checking went smooth. Was on fist floor by pool & hot tub ( noise was not bad at all ) the fresh cookies & coffee was nice ,the free brackfast was very good . Room had a mine frig , Micowave & a single cup coffee maker.

The staff was exceptionally kind and professional including the maids. All was so clean tho an armchair cld benefit from a shampoo. Loved th quiet room air. Brk was th typical n wld be nice had oatmeal been offered. Dry cereals were th usual bad for th body fare so wld llike maybe granola or less sugary types. Add Christian TV selection or two n u wld have a perfect evening!

Clean, comfortable, close to everything. The breakfast they offered wasn't my favorite but I usually tend to not expect much from free hotel breakfasts. The staff was very friendly, the also offer fee cookies at the front desk. The indoor pool and spa were nice. Very clean and the spa was actually hot instead of lukewarm like most hotels. Parking spaces could be bigger. Overall a great experience.

This hotel was new, clean, and very well managed. The staff works hard. We had a room issue (due to a miscommunication about the reservation), and the desk clerk went above and beyond to quickly resolve the issue to our mutual satisfaction. After a long day of travel, his professionalism and service was much appreciated. We were visiting Baylor and the Magnolia Silos, and will be staying here again for our next visit.

We needed a room for 2 adults and 2 children 10/12. When we booked as 4, the system defaulted to a double queen. I asked for a pull out so my kids could have a bed (the other adult and I were not sleeping together). They were not "allowed" to add a cot or pull out bed to the regualr room so we were forced to upgrade to a suite which cost us almost double the expected rate. The suite was big enough but only 1 bathroom and the kitchen supplies were only enough for 3 to eat/drink. The cleaning crew showed up too early at 9:30 and never came back to dress the room (we stayed 2 nights). Breakfast was ok. There was a variety but mostly heated up food prepared elsewhere or meant for a microwave. The kids liked making their own waffles and the bacon was good and plentiful...the scrambled eggs were not great. All in all, its over priced for the experience we had - I'll be sure to talk to the booking staff before I show up to make sure we can be accommodated without it costing us double to keep the kids off the floor.

Very Welcoming hotel. Great Pool and Hot Tub. Breakfeast was nice and something for everyone. Hotel is a bit out of the way but keeps it nice and quiet, and Shopping and food is a short drive away. I Think being off of I 35 Raceway|parking lot was a good thing.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room, including bathroom was spacious, comfortable with a great king size bed. Super-clean. Towels were thick and fluffy. Staff was friendly. They offer a full breakfast that was okay for all-inclusive price. Food mediocre but I don't expect much from "free breakfasts" at hotel. The room I felt was a little overpriced at $100 per night, given it was in Waco suburbs but I booked at last minute as I was attending a funeral. I definitely would stay there again.

Exceptional place to stay. Better complete breakfast compared to other local Woodway, TX hotels. Plentiful parking. Excellent front staff...so friendly...willing to assist you at any time...know the area and answer all your questions perfectly. Perfect hotel for business, visiting family or vacationing in the area.

We only stay 1 night in this hotel. We have a good experience however there is a couple of thing that could improve. I have to say that the staff was fantastic, professional, and helpful. Room was clean, shower head was great but the tub is in need of some TLC. How comfy is the bed? That will depends on what you like. It was perfect for me but my husband did not like it. So, good luck. Breakfast was extremely simple. Ok, I know you are not in a grourmet restoring however there is plenty of room for improvement. Starting with the coffee which was HORRIBLE. You will have eggs, hash browns, waffles, fruit, cereal, bread, and juice. That's all.... no bacon, or not sausage. It is a clean place, with nice people. Be aware that GPS gets a little lost. There is a lot of road construction in the area.

Stayed one night before going to silo. Clean hotel friendly staff away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to all types of eating places easy access to interstate so getting Where we wanted to go was easy

Can not say enough about this hotel's accommodations. It has so many extra's that put the " icing on the cake". Make-up mirror that made putting in contact lens easy and wife putting on make-up. Check out time of noon provided a non-rush time to check out. The number of electrical plug-ins provided C pap use easy. Large TV screen, high toilet, quality of soap, quality and quantity of towels made this stay every relaxing.

Waste of good money, way overpriced and the room decor is cheap and reminds me of a room that is old. We expected a lot nicer motel for the price we paid, and the pictures that were on the internet is to nice for what it really is in person. Very disappointed in this place. There are other motels in the Waco area that we seen which was a lot nicer. Sorry, would never go to that one.

Excellent hotel with very courteous staff. Clean facilities. Excellent breakfast items and presentation. The only detractor for us was the disabled room in which the sides of the bath were too high to comfortably lift a leg to get inside for the shower. There was no shower chair available for people that require this type of disability equipment. A low step shower would be advantageous for disabled rooms.

We stayed overnight while making a long drive. The reviews were high and this hotel did not disappoint. The lady that booked our room quickly honored the cheaper online rate. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. My family and I enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The hotel was not too far from I-35. Breakfast included waffles, omelet, sausage, cereal, yogurt etc. Great stay for a great price. We plan on staying here again in the future.

We planned a last minute trip and glad we found this hotel. It was close enough to where we wanted to go. The hotel is clean and everyone was so friendly! We will definitely continue to use this hotel and Best Western in the future.

We were visiting Waco and stayed here. Quick drive to downtown. Very nice hotel. Friendly staff at check in. Room was very clean and hotel smelled clean! Room was very comfortable. Indoor pool and whirlpool which we enjoyed. Great breakfast. Especially liked the cheese omelettes. Coffee and tea in the room as well as in the lobby. Good choice.

stayed here for the night coming from Galveston and wanted to see the Waco Mammoth Park. The staff was very friendly Veronica I believe was nice and helpful and check in and gave a great rate. She felt terrible I keep trying to find my BW membership account. Pool and Hot Tub were typical indoor. Room was nice and clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was typical. Only negative was housekeeping knocking on the door at 8am. I heard her knocking on other rooms before ours so I knew it was coming. I know the manager said I should have put a DND sign up But even so Housekeeping should not be knocking on rooms. Most places have system like walkie talkies to let them know what rooms have checked out not having them knock to check who has. Overall not bad for a night stay just remember to be up early if you stay here.

We really enjoyed the staff, room and breakfasts at this Best Western. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our king bed was firm, and relatively new, I think. I would definitely stay here again! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast attendant was kind and kept the room very tidy.

Positives: Room was very clean and spacious, beds were pretty comfortable Negatives: - Staff was awful, very unfriendly/awkard - took 15 minutes for someone to finally come out of the office to check us in, no fresh cookies when we arrived at 6 PM - breakfast was so/so, pigs in a blanket were hard been sitting there too long - they had not activated our room keys properly, so we had to go back downstairs while hauling our luggage to get it sorted out, got no apology for the inconvenience. Overall, I would choose somewhere else to stay in Waco just due to their staffing issues.

This is a great small hotel, and very friendly staff. We had 2 Queen size beds and the room was spacious. Breakfast was free with a variety of items to choose. They have an indoor pool and a small exercise room. There is a shopping mall only 5 minutes away.

Great place to stay during the week for business in Waco & McGregor. Close to major roads, yet my room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and the price was right! Helpful staff made my week a delight. Comfortable bed, decent internet connection. I took my breakfast 'to go' with me each morning (made hot oatmeal, which is my favorite), though they had several other selections. Staff recommended a good dinner restaurant upon my evening arrival & furnish me with a map & directions to my meeting during the week.

Staff is professional and nice. The whole hotel is clean, notably the breakfast area and the rooms. Handy business center. Rooms are decorated nicely and everything works. A/C works like a champ! Bed is super comfortable with lots of pillows. I would have liked a guide for the channels and shows. I also could have used a safe.

Made a reservation through hotel in June for Homecoming weekend for two nights, because I had stayed at this location in Oct. 2015 and felt that everything was A-OK. Rate quoted and confirmed was $165 plus taxes per night; however, when trying to check-in on Friday, Oct. 14, rate was $203 plus taxes per night! Manager wouldn't budge and wouldn't honor confirmed rate. I was so upset and thoroughly stressed that when he offered to knock off $20 after much discussion, I just left. Manager couldn't have cared less about how mad and upset I was. My trip for my 50th Reunion was just ruined. Went to Reunion dinner late and drove back home 130 miles, no parade, no football game. Had to give 1-star. Deserves 0-stars. Never ever reserve a room at this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for a very short vacation. Very nice hotel! The people were nice and friendly as well! The room was just as advertised! The whirlpool bath was amazing! Check in was very easy as was the check out process.

I didn.t realize we had left our laundry bag containing our dirty clothes--until we returned home & found a message on our phone from the manager tell us that the maid had found it. I visited my son at Baylor University for family weekend this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus in Woodway. The room was immaculately clean, and the staff at the front desk and in housekeeping were professional, friendly, and very helpful. This property is not technically in Waco but it is close enough to Waco and the University that you feel like you are "there." I highly recommend this property to other Baylor parents. The value and quality for the price are outstanding. The food on the breakfast buffet was hot and well-stocked.

I usually stay somewhere else when in Waco but this time I was there for Baylor move in day and hotels in Waco were priced higher than I care to pay. I opted for the Best Western Woodway because of the price and ratings, also, it really isn't far from the Baylor campus. This was a great choice for us. We arrived late on a rainy evening and were welcomed and quickly checked in. My advice to anyone booking hotels, don't book on third party sites. Join the hotel chains rewards programs and book through them, they won't lose your reservation. I have never seen lower prices on third party sites anyway. The room was large and comfortable, the air conditioner was very loud but did not bother us. Breakfast each morning was good and plentiful, about what you would expect. Coffee is available all day in the lobby. Laundry is available also. It was quick to head up to Waco and Baylor when the time came to drop the kid off and do some shopping nearby, plenty of restaurants close by also. We will probably stay here again.

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we were greeted with a helpful and friendly staff. Had I not had to do laundry, it would have been perfection. I will definitely return to this Best Western. It is very conveniently located too.

Booked hotel on a website. Drove 4 hrs in the rain after work so I could attend my granddaughters birthday the next day. Walked into the lobby and the lady said we don't have a reservation for you. I said no, it's right here, here's my confirmation #. She said well they cancelled your reservation that between you and them. I start trying to call them.... Lady says oh no they just did know how to do this in the computer. Let me figure it out. After about 20 mins we finally got the room we paid for. Parking was a nightmare! The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean and it was big. Breakfast did NOT look appetizing. I had coffe and it was bad too. Hotel itself is very nice. P.S. we arrived at 11:30p and were initially told out room was canceled because they didn't think we were going to show up.

Was initially planning on the Super 8 but this Best Western lobby was clean, bright, clearly welcomed breakfast visitors in layout, friendly reception... And decided to spend a little more to stay. It was worth it. Community areas clean, pool area was full so didn't use it but was in good repair. Pillows and Matthews comfortable and nice linens. Room had fridge, coffee pot, nice tv w good channel selection, and bathroom felt clean. Close to mall and restaurants. Took maybe 15 min to get to Magnolia and less to Cameron Park zoo. Ate at Souper Salads and while not busy was fresh. Pei Wei isn't too far and was great too. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and mall are a one intersection away too.

this hotel is nice, clean and decorated well. The best part is the very comfortable beds. Good variety of breakfast options. Only thing I did not like it the parking is pretty tight around the building. Noise between connecting rooms is not great, but overall the hotel stays pretty quiet

For under $100 we stayed in a suite with a queen bed & pull out sofa. The room was large and comfortable. We had a kitchenette with microwave, coffee pot, sink & fridge. The shower was nice and the room was very clean. We went for the Magnolia warehouse sale and were just a few minutes drive to the market and downtown Waco. The hotel was right off the highway, but you couldn't hear it. It was close to restaurants and shops and easy to get to. We looked at hotels in Waco and they were significantly more expensive. Woodway is right next door and super convenient. I would stay here again for sure. Only negatives were the free breakfast was not the best, the pool is indoors, and the AC unit is loud in the room (typical for most places).

Everything here was great with one exception and that was the Stale Beer smell at the entrance of the Hotel. Great staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very quite and clean. We experience no problems during our stay. Breakfast was pretty good. We were staying there for a weekend Square Dance.

Best Western Plus in Woodway is an awesome place to stay. They always seem to care about me and my comfort. I will always stay here. The rooms are clean and smell nice. They always try to fulfill everything I ask of them. Never any complaints or anything. I love this Hotel.

We arrived a bit early for checking. The front desk was very courteous and gave us a key to our room. When we arrived, the room was being repaired for something in the bathroom, definitely not ready for business. We went back to front desk and he was already in process of getting us another room. Very friendly and apologetic. After arriving in our new room, he called to let us know that they wanted to refund a portion of our rate because of the inconvenience. AWESOME!!! Very nice place to stay - would highly recommend to others!

Price is right. for business or pleasure. VERY COSISTENT in their attention to detail and to the needs of their guests. Above average accommodations for price and clean beyond reproach. This is not your grandfather's BestWestern. It is definitely a plus.

Stayed here 4th of July. Absolutely the cleanest room and facility. Great indoor pool and hot tub. Staff were very nice and polite. Beds were very good and comfortable. Great breakfast bar! Look forward to going back.

I have stayed at a lot of different hotels in the past couple of years. I always check TripAdvisor for ratings wherever I will be traveling. I have spent nearly $200/night for a few stays. This stay was half of that. I honestly could not have told you the difference between the $200/night stay and this stay. The young lady at the desk upon my arrival was very helpful and accommodating. I made a last-minute request of her and she cheerfully handled it. The room was fine. The ONLY tiny thing I noticed was a very small stain on the carpet. Perhaps housekeeping had not yet seen it? Don't know. It wasn't something that concerned me greatly. It is a hotel, after all. Everything else was impeccably cleaned and serviced. The breakfast was the standard fare but always handy for a quick bite for an early departure. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient without the frenzy of IH-35 right at it. I agree the parking lot is not the best configuration but was likely devised with what was available to work with. I will stay here again and happily pay half of what I have elsewhere.

This hotel was booked for us by the family hosting the wedding we were attending. We anticipated being comfortable and well cared for but did not expect the beautifully designed room or the "lux" feel of the palm trees outside or the sparkling feel of the front desk and the breakfast room. This is currently a very well managed hotel and the staff are very cordial and helpful.

Beautiful place, easy access and quite. Best Western has come a long way. Very competitive with other big name hotel but for a fraction of the price. Great services and value for you buck! Will definitely repeat if traveling back to Waco TX

Spent one night here last weekend - in town to pick up kid form Baylor Band Camp. Hotel required a drive by and a loop back for us on the freeway. Parking lot is very tight. Front desk had some issues with our reservation but they worked through it and were very applogetic. On check in we were given rooms side by side (two couples) When I walked into our room I was over come with the fragrance that was very strong and my lips and tongue began to swell. I checked the other room and it had a bit of a smell but it wasn't as bad but still too much of something sprayed. Went and spoke to the front desk (I think his name was Josh) and explained the situation - and that I would not be able to remain in that room because whatever was sprayed was toxic to me. He let me check out another room on the same floor and it still had the same smell but it wasn't near;y as strong and then we tried another floor hoping that a different housekeeping team may not spray as much but it was even worse - even Josh could smell it. He bellieved it was a lysol spray they use in the rooms. I chose the room on the same floor and he helped me move mys tuff into that room and was super kind about offering to move me again and find another room if I found the smell in this one was too much. THe hotel is much easier to get out from and onto the freeway - we were at Baylor within 5-10 minutes easily. We left shortly after the move and when we returned later that evening - 9ish - he room seemed better. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was typical - microwaved powered eggs, a few meats and pasteries. No omlette station like other BW I have stayed at.

Clean, nice towels, great wifi, bar with sink, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave. The only negatives are: no light over bar/mini kitchen and the small parking lot. We have a pickup. Much of the parking area wasn't for us! We didn't eat breakfast here; however, it looked good. Personnel friendly.

We stayed here two nights and I would highly recommend this hotel. It was easy to get to and had easy access to places we planned to go, restaurants, etc. The rooms were large and had nice accommodations. It was pleasantly quiet. The breakfast was adequate with hot and cold items to choose from. The coffee could have been a little stronger for me but was not bad. We had a problem with the bathroom light not coming on and a repairman was sent immediately to fix it. The electricity went out during the night due to a rainstorm that came through. It did get a little warm but fortunately came on early the next morning. We had no issues after that. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is very clean and nice Breakfast was great and glad that offered hot breakfast - it was very good Unfortunately the power went out because of some crazy storms. Obviously the hotel wasn't able to control this, but I was very disappointed that they didn't offer anything for comp for people that stayed. That would have been good gesture. Even just a coupon for discount at future stay! The managers went around and asked if we had stayed through the night when power went off

My husband and I travel down to Texas for a conference. We stopped in Waco on the way to see the Magnolia silos. We stayed at the best Western plus one way for an overnight before heading down to San Antonio. The best Western plus was extremely clean the lobby area was nice and well decorated. The room was a little small but for the two of us was fine. It was modern and decorated well. We use the fitness room in the pool which were small but clean. The breakfast was just OK but that is the way most hotels are. They had a good assortment if you like that sort of thing. I would recommend stay here instead of Waco. Woodway has more shopping and restaurants nearby.

The check in process was easy and quick. The gentleman asked if I had a floor preference and he was able to accommodate my request. Our room was great. It was a fairly large room with a desk. It had a flat screen TV and the bathroom had plenty of counter space. The free breakfast was great. You were able to make waffles or toast. There was also cereals to choose from but the best part were the biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon/sausage. Also there was juice and coffee (with flavored creamers!!!) Everyone was very friendly and I would definitely recommend.

So, I travel a bit (a lot). And, I work early hours. So, many times I come down to the breakfast area early just to work and have access to coffee. Many times, the staff will put on the lights for me (even though the breakfast area is not open). Sometimes I turn on some of the lights just so I can work. So, when I did this at this property, the morning staff gruffly said "I don't open until 6:00" and TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS and left me sitting in the dark. Very Nice. I know you aren't open, but turning off the lights while I am sitting there. Not very classy - Best Western....

If you are looking for a good nights sleep and do not need internet service in the southwest Waco area, this is a good choice. Breakfast fare was as to be expected in a BW. Room was large and comfortable. Anna at the front desk was exceptional.

Woodway is not that far away from all the things you would want to do in Waco and you can't beat the price. Our rooms were well appointed and spotless; ample supply of thick towels provided. The place was quiet with good soundproofing; you can get a good night's sleep here. I was disappointed in the breakfast offerings--the same old unappetizing eggs and gluey sausage gravy. Thankfully there is and Egg and I close by. They double charged my credit card but corrected the error the same day. Since this happened to another reviewer, I would recommend hanging on to your paper work.

We stayed here for a wedding that we were attending. Our plan was to stay one night but ended up staying 2. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was raining and one of the staff offered us an umbrella. The room was clean and comfortable. my only complaint was the breakfast. The cereal was stale and the eggs left a little to be desired. But, if I needed at hotel in the area, I would stay here again.

We stayed at a Best Western Plus last year and loved it. It has the feel of luxury yet not priced so high. The room is comfy and spacious and breakfast very tasty. An indoor pool and hot tub also. Very quiet.

Hotel is clean, nicely decorated and has typical Best Western amenities. Breakfast area was nicely decorated with a variety of seating options. The indoor pool was small, and even though it was indoors, it was not heated. The only issue was my credit card was charged twice for the stay and that has kept me from giving it an all excellent review. Close location to the things that there are to do in Waco like visit the zoo, the suspension bridge, Magnolia's, and the mammoth site.

nice friendly hotel that is very conveniently located on 84 and easy access to hwy 6. The staff were efficient, checking in and out. The breakfast area was pleasing and comfortable while the food was fresh and hot.

Very clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. We had breakfast there the second morning before we checked out, plenty of food and a good variety. If ever in Waco again I would stay there and it was in a good neighborhood.

Night clerk literally told us that we could get arrested for going into the coffee area late at night bare-footed. She proceeded to scream and threaten. It was really ridiculous. Very rude!! No other staff offered any help.

I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.- The staff is friendly and helpful. All the amenities were outstanding. I traveled with three teenagers and a five year old and everyone had a great time.

Owner and staff uncooperative and lack basic business acumen, communication, and social skills. Independently owned and this particular owner gives Best Western a negative image. There are numerous other hotels within a mile radius that would offer better accommodations and leadership from the owner. STAY ELSEWHERE!

I was in town visiting family and The Best Western Hotel was awesome. The front desk clerk welcomed me by name as I walked through the door and needless to say it made me feel special. He was very nice and attentive. The hotel was very clean and smelled very clean inside and outside. My room was very appealing and clean. I'm very picky about where I stay and YES I will be staying there again. The FULL breakfast was awesome which is very important.

Extremely clean well maintained hotel with courteous knowledgeable staff. Convenient to Waco and surrounding area. I will plan on staying here in the future. The only thing I would change is to have coffee ready in the lobby by 5:00 AM.

In town for a wedding. We chose Best Western because we have been happy with them in the past on other trips. Front desk personnel were very cheerful and accommodating. The room was very clean, as was the lounge. Would definitely recommend staying there.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at for the money. Had a ground floor room directly across from an outside door where our car was parked. Very convenient. Room was very clean, quiet and the breakfast was better than average.

Since my last trip to Waco and my stay at the Best Western Plus on Woodway, I will look no further for a hotel during future stays. This hotel is so well managed and appointed, the rates are reasonable, the amenities are exceptional, and the staff is competent, professional, friendly, and helpful. I have stayed in hotels in Waco from 2012 - now, 12/17/15, and the Best Western Plus is by far the best experience I have had.

Chose this motel for the location near relatives, the purpose of my Waco visit. Motel was very clean, attractive, and all encountered staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. ONLY complaint was with the showerhead, wish it was more adjustable. Morning breakfast was good and very convenient to start the day. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

My parents, my husband and I have stayed at this particular Best Western twice. The first time was by sheer coincidence - but the second time, we didn't consider staying anywhere else on our trip to Waco. The beds are wonderful, the staff very helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect. We will definitely stay there again any time we are in the Waco area!

The Best Western Plus Woodway Waco South Inn and Suites is a jewel that everyone should experience. The entire stay was excellent from check-in to check-out. The room was very nicely appointed. All the furnishings appeared brand new. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. The breakfast bar was well stocked and fresh. The staff is very friendly. I will certainly stay here again when I am back in the area.

I travel 98% of the time for work. This was the first time I stayed at a Best Western Plus. I was happy when I walked into my room and it smelled very clean. Everything was clean. I stayed at other hotel chains and was not happy with their cleanliness. Either it smelled like stinky feet or the bathroom was dirty. I will be staying at Best Westerns if all of them are this clean .

Hotel is generally fine. Woodway is a very nice city bordering Waco to the South with several pretty areas. This property is not in one of those areas. It sits right on one of the major, divided roadway (expressway-like) that the Waco area was so founding of building from some reason. Not nearly as pleasant as I assumed it would be for Woodway, but that may be the fault of my assumption. For those prone to such assumptions, be warned. In any event, the property is clean but dated. Standard limited-service hotel accommodation for 10-15 years ago. On the downside, not so friendly front desk help, certainly not what we experienced in other properties in Waco and nowhere near what we received in the Nashville area where we had just travelled from. In fact, the night desk clerk was downright rude. Breakfast in limited services establishments are what one would expect, but there is a range. This hotel ranked low on that range. Still, when Baylor is having an event (i.e., Family Weekend), choices for reasonably priced rooms right in Waco become limited very quickly. This hotel suffices for a short stay when most of your time will be on Campus anyway and everything else is booked or their rates have gone through the roof.

This hotel was a great place to stay when I was in town for a Baylor football game. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was a great stay! I would recommend this Best Western!

We found this hotel to be conveniently located, with ample parking, a refreshing environment, a good complimentary breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, and very clean and comfortable facilities. I particularly liked the fact that they had coffee available the entire day, and we liked the large eating area with comfortable furniture....a place that made us feel at home.

This is THE hotel to stay at in Waco~ Great location, Breakfast Buffet and very clean. My son is going to Baylor and this hotel is less than a 10 min drive to campus. They seem to take pride and great care in the hotel. I will be back soon.

I was definitely surprised when I found out this property was built and opened in 2003, as it appears to be a brand new property (I inquired at the front desk if it was a new hotel). The staff and management are to be commended on the way they have stayed on top of the upkeep and maintenance of this property. The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful with suggestions on nearby dining options. Complete satisfaction with this stay. I will definitely stay at this property again.
