"Starting to see it's age"

Clean and comfortable. some stains in the bathroom. desk clerk was very helpful. stayed on a Sunday night... Just a handful of cars... I have not been to Tunica in many years... It seems to be on the slide. A number of hotels are no longer open... Restaurants are more fast. Food places. Still a nice place to visit.. but one night is enough

Good hotel for a quick place to stay for overnight. Rooms are not well lit and are very outdated. Bathroom was not well kept and cleaned. The employees are very nice and friendly. They do offer a limited breakfast.

Dated, shabby feeling, no real problems but not very welcoming either. Sheets were threadbare in places which left a very bad impression - why would anyone think that is ok in a lodging facility? Breakfast was ok but not a great variety.

Stayed here October 2022. Went with another couple. Main reason for trip was Casino's. The rooms were okay. Little dirty around the edges but for the most part clean. We stayed in room 113 and our friends in 114. They had issues with their key and had to switch to room 119. They had some issues with that key also at first but finally got it fixed. We did have an issue one day with our key when we returned to the hotel but just went to the front desk and he recoded them and they were fine. Hotel staff was amazing and very friendly. Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Breakfast was waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice and coffee. Biscuits and gravy was not the best I've ever had but ok. There is a Waffle House not too far from the hotel. There is also a restaurant called Hollywood Cafe real close to hotel that was very good. Doesn't look like much from the outside but service and food was very good. Very short drive to all the Casino's. Sam's Town Casino has a mexican restaurant that was very good and also a BBQ restaurant that was good. I would stay here again.

Awesome place to stay with family and friends and if you traveling with kids the staff is super nice and super frendly here and garte location and all casino very very close and the manager here is super Awesome and he will make fell like home and he ready to do anything to make your stay batter...battery.... Love the place

Stayed here 3 nights in October 2022. Room 113. Went with another couple. Room seemed to be ok. It was a little dusty and a little dirty around the edges and corners. Bathroom was clean except for the floor in the corners. The bed sheets/pillows had a couple of very small stains that looked like they were there a long time and just would not come out. Was not a deal breaker for me as they seemed clean. I consider myself a very clean person in my own home. This room was ok to me. Bed/pillows were super comfortable. I don't think I've ever slept in a motel bed that was that comfortable. We got a good price and it was close to the Casinos. Our friends had a little bit of an issue with the door keys (Room 114). They tried to correct the problem and ended up moving them to a new room (Room 117). They had issues with those door keys also but finally got them to work. We did come back to our room the second day and our keys did not work. Went to the front desk and he re-programed them and they were fine. Room was a very short walk to the lobby one direction and short walk to ice, laundry and vending the other direction. Breakfast was Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, muffins and juice. Biscuits were a little hard and gravy wasn't the greatest. But it was free (with the room of course). There is a waffle house not too far from the hotel. Can't tell you about that because we did not go there with our friends. Staff at this motel is exceptional. Very friendly and try to make your stay nice. Restaurant very close by this hotel called Hollywood Cafe. Doesn't look like much from the outside but very good food and great service. Casino's were all very close driving. Signs everywhere telling you how to get to them. I would stay here again. Read less

found silverfish in the bathtub and asked for a cancellation. desk clerk refused to cancel and charged my credit card. I have turned the matter over to my bank card people and dispute the charge. I will never use Best Western again

"PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE"

The first room I was given (219) was disgusting! The bed covering that showed through the sheet had a large pink stain and several large and small brown disgusting stains everywhere. The sink handle came off when I attempted to wash my hands. I went downstairs and told the lady at the desk she said ok I'm going to give you another room and check it before I give you the key. I wait over 20 mins for her to give me the key to room 203. I go in there and all you smell is whatever cleaner she used to clean it. The fitted sheet still had brown stains but not as big, I flipped the mattress and sheet around because at this point I was exhausted after traveling 8 hours to get there. The front desk lady did to call and check the cleanliness of the room and I explained it was still dirty but not as filthy as the other room. Our room was freezing because she tried to air it out so I turned the heat on and it smelled like the room would catch fire so I had to turn the air back on. Some of the ceiling crumbled down to my bed and left white sprinkles on the bed and floor. All the dressers and bathroom door handles were filled with dust. Thick dust! I have stayed at this location 3 other times and never had this experience when it was just a Best Western, but now that it's a Sure Stay it's HORRIBLE! Also Amanda overheard my family speaking with another guest about her horrible experience at the hotel as well and Amanda said "I have a complaint too" and we replied but we're paying and shouldn't have these issues and she said "I'm paying top, my back hurt". She was very disrespectful, not pleasant, and needs a training on customer satisfaction/customer service, and how to provide world class welcomes to guests. My aunt also had a room and the first room they gave her, the key fob entry to the room was exposed from the inside. Showing the batteries and wires (not safe at all). The second room she was given the bathroom light kept going out and flickering. She informed the front desk and the lady said ok I'll tell the night manager. We'll guess what, their light was never fixed or changed and it continued to go out the duration of our time. In total we had 3 rooms and spent too much money to have such a horrible experience. We were also told it was under new management. I am going to send this review to corporate as well because I need a full refund. All of the hallways also smelled like cigarette smoke and Marijuana, even though all the rooms I passed had no smoking emblems posted.

"Gnats Galore & Gross"

We stayed here last year..no big deal. This year we stayed here and our room is loaded with gnats. For the last 2 nights I've been spraying the air and surfaces with essential oil spray but the keep coming. Then the grossness. The bathroom grout is so dirty, it's almost black. The bottom of the air conditioner is broken.. The metal door frame in the bathroom is rusted. I do notice that only certain guests stay in the front of the hotel, while ‘other' guests are roomed in one area. I would definitely spend a little extra and book somewhere else..

Reasonably priced, clean, courteous desk clerks and cleaning staff also. I requested and additional blanket and towels due to my mother's medical condition, no problem at all. This was my 2nd stay there and so far it's been peaceful and quiet. NO PET ALLOWED !!!!!!! My brother stayed at the KEY WEST. he stated he had to checkout a day early due to a barking dog next door.

They can do much better with a cleaning ! The carpet in the hallways need to be cleaned desperately the elevator needs to be clean the carpet in the bedrooms need to be clean! They need to do some new caulking around the tub!

"Not a Resort"

This is not a resort. It is fine for a night or two. The place is clean and the beds are comfy. They don't clean or service the rooms because of covid. I had to go to the front desk for towels. They only have king handicap rooms. Plenty of parking. Staff is okay but I ended up checking out early because the sink was stopped up there was water leaking on the floor and staff brought me a towel and told me to clean it up. Too many negative issues trying to ruin my vacation.

I have stayed here numerous times . The front desk staff is friendly and helpful . The linen could use a little bleach to whiten the sheets and towels . The corners in the bathroom are never swept or mopped it appears . Red stains and dirt and hair are always present . The shower walls need a thorough cleaning to remove the brown stains in the cracks of the tiles .

We were not happy with the smeel of the hallway or room. The ice machine was filthy and not safe to consume. The beds were smaller than what we reserved. We're told they don't even have two king size beds.

"Garbage room"

The room was not worth $79. The room was not clean, beds were not Queen size. A plug in was broken and it shocked my husband. Continental breakfast was a joke. There was water standing in the tub when we 1st checked in (should've taken that hint) my husband had to clean the tub out. Luckily we carry packs of clorox wipes. Overall very disappointed.

Typical Mississippi Delta motel post pandemic. No air in hallways. Smells like smoke in the halls, rooms a bit tired. Unusually, the coffee maker worked and there was coffee in the room. But, value, this was great value. Price was 40% lower than comparable properties. Also, check out the cool table in the breakfast area. In these times and in this place it is a good place.

Stayed one night and won't be back. The only positive thing about this place was the man working the front desk. It was a 5/10 on cleanliness and location. Security was nonexistent. Side doors had no locking mechanism and anyone could come and freely. We will try one of the big resorts next time.

"Cheap rates for a decent room"

Disappointed by the breakfast. An hour after breakfast began, the only things available were 8 cups of yogurt, two apples, three bananas,a dozen bite size muffins, a dozen bite size cinnamon rolls, and several packages of instant oatmeal. When I commented on the lack of choice and the small quantities available, covid restrictions were cited. We had traveled from SC to Oklahoma over a two week span. Other hotels provided hot breakfast items with great variety. In the past when we stayed at this facility breakfast choices and quantities were much more plentiful.

$Overpriced$ and not the BW quality stay we expected. Pool was closed, elevator working was a hit & miss, lobby ladies restroom out of order, ice machine not working, guest washer & dryer out of service, and very little continental breakfast offered. On the plus side, rooms were a nice size and the double size beds were comfy.

"Much Improved"

This facility has been recently updated and is much improved. The last time I stayed there were issues but those have been resolved. No more odors and outdated equipment. The lobby looked really nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

"Very poor staying area"

The way the hotel looks on the internet is nothing like that in person. I paid 140.00 per night and rooms was not cleaned well. We went to the local walmart to buy cleaning items to be able to stay the two nights. There was nothing available around that area. Everything was booked. We stayed only because it was Mother's Day Weekend, we drove 3 hours to get there, and everything was booked.

"So noisey we slept in the car"

Had the ring the bell twice just to get someone to come out. Then they were rude. Not acknowlegded as a Doamond member, Then put in room 222 right up against the elevator shaft. It was so noisey neither if us could sleep at all. AC was VERY noisey as well but we have experienced that a lot of places. Asked for antother room as was denied. As a Diamond member this was very disapointing. Went and slept in the car can just came back to shower and get the heck out of there.

This is the best hotel in Robinsonville tunica after casino nothing is wrong and everything is right what you looking for the brand.. understand not serving breakfast and they told us the reason but ever this guy else was awesome... Lo this place

Stayed for 4 nights on business. Check in very pleasant asked for top floor not informed that floor was under construction. Water pressure either low or not in existence which meant the toilet didn't flush so the morning I go to work I inform front desk of the situation (mind you that was at 6:30AM) I get back to hotel (after 4:00PM) asked front desk if fixed...the front desk proceed to say I JUST GOT IN TO WORK DON'T KNOW...then I ask for plunger...was told if I see housekeeping on my floor they would have one so needless to say I"m going back and forth while front desk lady ( using term but don't fit the person) DOES NOTHING...and also No effort to serve breakfast Togo or otherwise.. Last week stayed in New Albany at Bext Western NIGHT and DAY...Corporate needs to check on the Tunica location definitely falling behind on BW standards

"Best hotel in Tunica Area"

This hotel is very clean with friendly staff! We stay here everytime we are in the Tunica area and have never been disappointed. The price is great as well! The casinos are only a short drive away! I am sad COVID took away the hot breakfast as it has always been great!

You're better off sleeping in your car than at this hotel, unless of course you enjoy not having clean towels, weed & cigarette smell and being spoken to with an attitude. We stayed 5 nights for a horse show and will never stay here again. This is by far the worst best western I have ever stayed at.

"Not where you would want to stay. Phone cord was cut. Shower pressure barely hot water. Called from my cell to lobby"

It wasn't what it claimed to be online. No hot water for a shower. Phone cord was cut had to call lobby from cell phone. The next morning the lady was rude at checkout. Wont be back 8.8 stars on the counter yeah right!!!

We were on the 3rd floor, smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as we walked off the elevator, killed a roach in bathroom, AC barely worked, toilet handle broke, housekeeping never came in once during entire 3 day stay so had to ask for new towels everyday, ice machine on 3rd floor was broke, went downstairs to get towels the last night of our stay and cops were there due to the desk guy being asleep in the back and wouldn't get up (someone called the cops since they were concerned that no one was there) to say the least it was eventful and we will never stay here again.

Bed was comfy is the only good thing. A/C didn't work right. Had to leave fan constantly running to cool off. Shower would not drain. Still hadn't drained hour after my shower. Sink wasn't much better. Bad smells throughout hallways and room. Won't ever stay here again.

Front Office Staff were wonderful! They provided us with any requests we had. The office area and food area were always clean and had an at home feel about it. Very Covid aware and much appreciated!!!! The cleaning crew needs new staff IMMEDIATELY!!! When we arrived (during a pandemic), we walked into our room to find cobwebs, plastic over the fire alarm, a dirty pillowcase, dirty bathtub, and filthy inside of the microwave. It was clear I needed to clean & sanitize the room myself. Not something I wanted to do on my Honeymoon! On our seven night stay, there was coffee spill on a floor tile in a common area. It was never cleaned the entire stay. Instead a “caution sign” was set out. The hallway carpets continued to become more filthy day by day. Ice machine area which also had a washer/dryer was absolutely disgusting. Lint on the walls and floors. This area also became more dirty as our stay continued. WiFi was useless. It was not strong enough to even load pages for an internet search from a phone. All because of a cleaning staff that absolutely didn't do their jobs appropriately, my overall rating dropped from a 5 to a 3!

Best Western is known as a high level motel or low level hotel. So, I realize you can't compare it to nice 3+ star hotels. That being said - this hotel was not very clean. The floors feel very dirty and the overall darkness of the room gives it a dank feeling. Overall, I've noticed most hotels not cleaning like they should. The bed appeared to be clean and was comfortable for the most part. The overall room is aged and the bathroom appeared clean but dingy. Finally, there was a constant smell of marijuana in the hotel. We only paid $60 to stay here in a Saturday, so that was cheap. The nicest places around here are the Gold Strike and the Horseshoe - but they do cost more.

Filthy room mold in bathroom spider web by heater. No doubt not disturb sign so staff entered our room prior to check out. Not the typical Best Western quality. No breakfast not even sealed pastries. Pitiful

Overall an adequate stay and reasonably clean. Some issues with our recent stay that were reported to Best Western and of interest to future potential guests: Inform guests that there is no daily maid service (excuse: COVID-19) and that fresh towels are available on request. Don't direct guests to an ice machine that isn't working (2nd floor) then quietly snicker. Update the hotel amenities to show the pool is closed and there is no breakfast (excuse: COVID-19). Don't check guests into rooms with broken equipment (refrigerator door broken). Lower rates to compensate for reduced amenities and service level.

Was it sure if I should do very good or average, the staff are friendly the hotel and room was clean. Used this hotel as it was free on BW points and on the way to our next location on a road trip. The hotel did the job but just a little dated, I had a non smoking room but was a twinge if smoke like smell in the room not powerful but must be noted, that was only down side so I went with V good. Had good sleep and was ready to drive on the next day, thanks again BW.

We visited Best Western Tunica Resort on Monday, March 2, 2020. The night clerk was not friendly to us: no welcome, no smile, no friendly conversation. The day clerk was gracious and friendly. Our room had no hot water, and the night clerk said nothing could be done. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The television was small and had limited channels. We were disappointed by the breakfast and disappointed in our situation.

The staff was not friendly and check in was awful! Breakfast was not the usual bw quality and we had no hot water for showers! It was not a great experience per our usual bw experience and will probably never go there again!

Clean and beds were Comfy. The price they charged me for aarp was higher than their web site aarp price. When I asked about that I was told it can't do anything about online prices!' Ummm ok but it was YOUR website not a 3rd party?? Wasn't happy with that. Breakfast was basic but good. I would much prefer horseshoe but they were full. For the price- this was fine.

We stayed at this hotel back in October and had a decent stay. It was definitely not my most favorite hotel but it was sufficient. We were driving from New Orleans, Louisiana up to Memphis, Tennessee and had gotten a late start to that drive so we ended up getting to this motel late at night. Upon arrival we noticed that the outside looked kept up and the lobby was nice, there was a large breakfast area and businesses center. We only payed like $45 for the night so we weren't expecting a whole lot. We checked in which took a while for some reason and went to our room on the first floor. Upon entering the room we noticed that it was just basic motel room which was fine. It was pretty clean for the most part and the beds were somewhat comfortable. The bathroom was clean and we were happy overall with the stay for the price. Considering that Tunica is basically just a rural area this motel was decent. It is about a 20-25 minute drive to Memphis. I don't think I would stay there again but if I did I would stay at one of the big casinos probably instead of this small motel.

Considering the options this is your best one for hotels in the area. Hotel is dated but room was clean and quiet. Other members of our group stayed at the casino hotels and were very disappointed after paying premium rates. There's just not a lot of good choices of places to stay near Tunica.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has always been clean. Always been quiet. Beds and pillows are quite comfortable. The only problem with this room was the toilet wouldn't flush well in the shower once it was cut on would not really cut off and the water kept running. Other than that, I would stay here again and plan on staying again.

The rooms were clean, and did I mention the bed was outta this world??lol pillows not so much. Hot water was so so. My husband and I both felt very good about our choice to stay here. I always stay at here when I'm in Tunica, which is often. The staff are all great but Si, Lisa, Cary, & Peaches always make me feel at home and are so friendly. Wesley is always nice too. They have a nice hot breakfast & fresh fruit which is great. My beds have always been super comfy and clean rooms.

This hotel is very clean. The rooms are inviting and comfortable. Guest service is AMAZING! They have a hot breakfast that's fresh and good. The front desk people help you in any way they can. All of the staff were great. They had a hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, waffles among other breakfast items. the beds were very comfortable. The Hollywood cafe is less then a minute driving time and the food is great. The hotel is also less then 10 minutes from any of the casinos, Memphis is just a short drive,

The location was easily accessible, the room was nice, hotel staff was not pleasant. We reported an issue with the hotel manager,(toilet wouldn't flush properly). He came to our room to assess the problem. Problem was never fix during our entire stay. Upon check out, we asked to speak with the manager, was told he wasn't there. Front desk staff didn't want to address our concerns. We were told maintenance came into our room without our knowledge to supposedly fix the problem, but we told them whatever he did still did not fix the problem. After my husband demanded that they call the manager, he refunded $30 from our bill. Overall the hotel itself is nice, staff could have provided better quest services.

The general manager is very rude and feel he can belittle guest who Pay to experience a home away from home, this was anything but. Rooms smell most, cleanliness is questionable paired with the caring bias general manager. I was disrespected for requesting towels, manager refuse to give enough to accomodate my party of three, he Aldo had his housekeeping first into my room. I requested a partita refund so i could just go and he refused. I believe i was targeted and will contact consumer affair for a refund and bbb he will learn about his bias behavior and unwillingness to address issues.

Hotel was ok, even good for the price. Side entrance was not locked at night as advertised. The area near the elevator had a terrible odor as if something had died. The breakfast buffet was good but very small area that made lines and congestion trying to get food and drink. The room was clean but the customer base comes in very late and is noisy.

Wee arrived and our first room was hot and had a very musty odor. The air was not turned on. The halls also were the same. We did receive amother room that was nice. Breakfast was ample and the location was good. For the price may continue to frequent the casino's accomodations.

Rooms were clean and beds were very comfy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The water is perfect for taking a nice, long, hot shower and the towels are big and soft. I always stay at Best Westerns and this is why.

We stayed here 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building inside and out is clean and neat and a wonderful staff. A good hot breakfast each morning with a variety of choices. We loved the proximity to the casinos. WIFI was great amd the many tv channels was nice. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Great price and locations. The staff was great and friendly. The free hot breakfast was very good. had a great night sleep & the bed were comfortable. The Hollywood Cafe is least then two minutes abd the food there is great. They are also less then 6 minutes from all seven casinos.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The girl at the front desk (? Lisa) was wonderful. She functioned more as a concierge than desk clerk. Kudos to her. The hotel breakfast was really just average, cereal, waffles, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage patties. When we checked in, our room had food crumbs on one night stand and a small paper on the floor outside the bathroom. We overlooked it since we were tired. We were gone for the day the next day and after housekeeping had been in the room, the crumbs were still there as was the piece of paper. We complained to the desk (Lisa) who sent up 2 more housekeepers and took care of it. Simple cleaning is not something you should have to ask for.

We woke up around 3 am due to my husband had been itching and bites on him. Room 118 moved to room 228 but air conditioner only worked on low. Had the most horrible sleep. Reported to manager Ron Patel. We were out and received phone call from Ron to come and talk to him. We agreed to meet in an hour. Went back to the Hotel. Ron and all the crew that work there we're waiting. Husband tried to talk to Ron but couldn't get any word in edgewise. Ron wanted us to come back to the room to show us that there were no bed bugs but we would not go back in there. Ron specified that he blocked us from entering our room on floor 2. We could not get into the room he had us locked out. Ron specified he is a specialist and don't need to call any exterminators and that there were no bed bugs and also stated it could have been dust mites or allergies. The funny thing is I didn't sleep under the blankets I never do in hotels and I didn't get any bites. Ron told us we needed to get out and my husband asked him where is all our luggage and not specified was locked in the room. We did try to find another hotel but it was all filled up due to the 4th of July. A worker in that hotel they did have issues in room 118 with bugs but Ron specified there's nothing wrong in that room. I try to settle this with a mediator For the hotel but didn't get anywhere. I advise anybody not to use this hotel. It was the worst experience ever. And also had to throw out clothes due to bed bugs.

We were looking for a nice place near Memphis and found this Best Western. It was conveniently located, reasonably priced and as we were travelling with a puppy-pet friendly. The manager on duty was amazing and very accommodating. WE looked in Memphis but everything was excessively priced When visiting the Memphis area again we will stay here again.

My stay was nice and comfortable. Hotel was conveniently between several casino's and Memphis Tennessee's attractions Beale st and Martin Luther King's museum. We stayed at this Best Western for five nights celebrating my husbands birthday. Arun and everyone working there made our stay so nice. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was decent with lots of room, very quiet with a microwave and fridge. The best part about our stay was the incredibly comfortable bed. It had a pillow top that felt like it was just put in for our stay but the pillows were not as supportive as we would like them to be. The only thing that we were not wholeheartedly satisfied on was the breakfast. It was a typical hotel breakfast, nothing special... but there is a great diner in Tunica called Blue and White that had great food and a must to visit when in town.

Stayed at anothe best western because of free night promotion and because they are alway decent for the price . "Good hotel close to casinos"

The casinos were bout 10 minutes away. The room was large and very clean. The staff was minimal but was pleasant to deal with. Rooms were very affordable. The bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was limited but very good and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend this place if want an inexpensive place to stay.

Two female front desk clerk were unprofessional in behavior. The elevator made lots of noise that we requested a room change. They were however prompt to accommodate the room change. Breakfast was pretty good and location is quiet. I don't plan to stay at this location again.

Rooms are decent and clean. Breakfast is good. However, please beware of management. The owner of this hotel is a shyster and cannot be trusted. Watch your bill and reservation contracts carefully. He owns another hotel or two in the area also.

Limited availability in Tunica if you do not want to stay at a casino. We were there for a weekend volleyball tournament. Check in was easy and that is the last good thing I have to say. The door was actually open upon arrival to our room. The carpet is in need of cleaning or replacing. The area around the nightstand and side of the beds was filthy. The faucet in the bathtub was running when we walked in and continued to run until we tightened it almost hard enough you couldn't loosen it. There are two smoke alarms in the room where one started chirping at 4pm, the batteries were replaced after over a hour of waiting on maintenance to come and change it out. Again at 4AM the other smoke alarm started chirping and again required a trip to the front desk where he removed the alarm completely. The breakfast has much to be desired. Thankfully we had a refrigerator and microwave. I did bring my own food. Check out was easy and I expressed the issues with the front desk and apologies were the only offering. There is a reason I try to stay with a different hotel group when available. Don't waste your money here and just stay in South Haven or Memphis.

First afternoon one of the two smoke detectors low battery beep started. Had to wait over a hour for anyone to come change battery. The second night at 4 am the other smoke detector battery alarm started going off. The desk attendant came and took it off the wall. The tub faucet was almost impossible to get turned off. Room had funny smell. Room was not very clean. Breakfast was horrible too. Eggs not worth eating.

Horrible!!!! Do Not Stay at this hotel. The owner/manager as no idea of what service is....all he cares about is selling a room. After my family and I spent all day in Tunica for a volleyball tournament, he sold our room to another family bc I didn't answer his phone call 3 hours early. My Pregnant wife and 3 kids had to drive all the way back home b/c I was not about to stay in a casino filled with smoke. This is pathetic and he is a joke of an owner. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

My debit card that I used to book had changed. The bank had sent me a new one because my previous card had been compromised during a trip earlier in the month. I forgot to update the info, they called me the morning that we were set to arrive and I gave them a new card. When we showed up they said I had a choice of a king size bed or two double beds, in a smoking room. My reservation which I showed her was for two double beds so that our teen children who were there for a sports championship could have one bed my husband and I the other. The staffed apologized but said our room was given away because our first card had been declined. We finally agreed to take a king bed in a non smoking room. We were given the room keys and went to what we thought was our room. Getting off the elevator the halls were filled with smoke. We made it to our room and when I opened the door I told my husband at least it smells better in here. However.... there was a young woman lying in the bed talking on her phone to her mom! They gave us someone else's room!! We went back downstairs and of course the clerk apologized again. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager when he arrived. She gave us another room assignment. We went to dinner. Played at the casino some and then come back. Still no phone call from the manager or extra linens that I asked for had been provided. I went to the desk. Spoke to him in person (he was very nice) and he gave me linens and a partial discount and apologized for the trouble. That I appreciated but felt our entire stay was ruined. It was very important for the kids to get a good nights rest before the second day of their competition. That did not happen and their performance showed! We will not return. I'll stay at one of the casinos if we come back to tunica.

Spent 1 night here while traveling through the area. Very quiet and clean. Easy to find off Hwy 61. Nice, helpful people working the front counter at both check-in and check-out. Price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was good. Parking lot was clean and in good shape. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Best Western on our trip to Tunica. I am pleased to say, a very pleasant and hassle free experience. The staff were very pleasant and the rates were extremely affordable. Love Best Western rewards program. This hotel is reasonably priced, wonderful comfortable beds, smoke free rooms and never a problem with a service animal. The Casinos are a big of a drive away but with the best western rewards I didn't pay for the hotel so no complaining here. Never had a bad stay at a Best Western.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Room 225 has a very loud water pump in the wall. Runs for 5 to 10 seconds intermittently day and night. Read another review that indicated aloud noise, the adjacent room 227. Warning loud noise equals no sleep. Owner offered no help and said he couldn't satisfy everyone so no k compassion our 4 day insomnia. Poor hospitality practices. Also first night we had no maid service. Went to the front desk for clean towels

I stayed for 3 weeks here and I was impressed on day one! My room (non-smoking) was incredibly clean and felt very refreshing, and smelled really fresh!. After three weeks the only thing that I was not wholeheartedly satisfied on was the breakfast, but there is a great dinner in Tunica called blue and white that had great breakfast!

"Decent hotel for the price, but not walking distance from casinos or dining"

We had to switch rooms because we were given a handicap room that had a fuzzy tv and the air condition and refrigerator kept making weird noises. The desk was very accommodating in switching our room and we had no further trouble. Internet was a bit slow. This hotel is probably the farthest location from the casino stretch which is about 2 miles. Also no choice to eat dinner in the town other than a small town restaurant that was overbooked. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel.

This hotel is located close enough to Memphis without paying 4-5 times as much for the stay. The hotel was very clean, quiet and well attended. The area is nice and there is a casino very close by for those who like to gamble.

Very friendly hotel staff, room was clean, bed was extremely comfy (slept better than in my bed at home). Pool was great. Only complaint (minor) was internet connection and my vpn disconnecting. Breakfast offered good amount of choices. Only request would be different types of fruit (only offered apples). Definitely be the place to stay next time at Tunica, Mississippi for horse show!

This was a nice hotel to rest for the night. It was clean, our room needs a new toilet put in because it is really discolored and looks dirty. The bed was comfortable and most of the staff were friendly. The desk clerk when we arrived was not overly enthusiastic, he did not explain the pool, breakfast, or anything. The clerk on checking out was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, nothing special, but it fills the hollow spot before heading out. We were in town for a show and if in the area would stay here again instead of the casino hotels. It is in very close proximity to the casinos and a lot less expensive. This hotel would get 5 stars if not for the desk clerk and the badly needed updated bathroom.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly! The front desk staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The complimentary breakfast was standard hotel breakfast fare, but was good. The coffee was not great. My only real complaint is that the shower drained somewhat sluggishly.

"Inconsistent clanging and door to hotel room being provide a lackluster experience"

While certainly not the worst night in a hotel I've ever had, there were a couple of large factors that made this stay less than ideal. I do want to mention that the free breakfast was clean and well-supplied. Our room was clean. The bedsheets had the ideal thread count. Contrary to this; the pillows were HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE (so bring your own if you go). The first night, I had a good night's sleep. After running out with my husband the next morning, I returned around 1:30 p.m. and found the room cracked open and without cleaning staff in site. The night before, my husband and I noticed that the black border surrounding each room door creates an illusion of doors being open, though this was not the case with mine; when I pushed without inserting my key, I was inside my room. (On a positive note, my room was made up, which at least led me to believe the staff may have accidentally forgotten to close the door all the way when they left.) I reported this at checkout andwas thanked for the information. I would have preferred an apology and an assurance that they would retrain staff to ensure it didn't happen to other guests. Fortunately, our possessions appeared intact. My husband and I relaxed by the pool in the early evening, and it appears the Best Western staff maintains it. The hotel architect was experienced enough to know to place the pool on the south side of the building, so guests had access to some shade. If you are staying in the near future, be advised that the June bugs are in full force (thus, I guess, their name). While the pool was nearly free of the bugs when the pool opened in the morning, the evening hours required shooing the bugs out of one's path (:-( The second night the hotel was cursed by a very loud clanging that could be heard within our room (227). I got very little sleep that night. We locked in on a good rate for the room, though didn't realize how much lower rates would go. You might lock in a deal and, assuming that the terrible clanging was only temporary, and staff's checking room doors as they leave, I might consider giving it another chance.

"Nice Stay"

We chose this hotel because the casino we wanted to stay at was booked for the night, it was a pleasant stay the kids enjoyed the pool, it was clean and it stayed open until 9pm..The beds were clean and comfortable just a little on the small side.. Before we checked out we enjoyed the free breakfast it was the usual hotel breakfast, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles... they also had cream cheese for the bagels, I would consider staying here again!

"Trip to Alabama"

We stayed here on our way to Hot Springs, Arkansas from visiting with some high school friends in Alabama. It was very nice, the casino was nice and I would recommend staying there. We were only there overnight but did enjoy a fairly decent breakfast.

"great place for rest"

This hotel is close to the Golden Strike and Horseshoe casinos. The rooms are large, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The key cards kept losing their coding so we had to have them rekeyed a few times.

Currently undergoing renovations, but our room is still awaiting update. There were a few problems, but nothing that was important. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and our room was clean. Breakfast was the usual fare found while traveling. The parts of the hotel that had already been updated looked very nice. Connie, who was at the desk at check-in time was exceptional. The price was so reasonable, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Tunica.

"No Refund MEANS NO REFUND"

I made and paid for the reservation with the no refund option. An unexpected death in the family necessitated a change in travel plans. I tried to cancel several days in advance and the desk clerk told me she could not make that decision but that the owner would give me a call. The owner didn't even have the courtesy to call me to confirm there would be no refund.

We stayed at the Best Western Tunica because it was a good value close to Memphis Tennessee. Every thing met with my expectations except the Breakfast Coffee, it was easily the worst coffee ever. Every thing else was very good

Good value, convenient location and clean. Staff courteous but a little bit indifferent. First reservationist needs to be more accessible and more patient with guests. Her voice demeanor was almost as if she didn't have the time or want to deal with me. Granted she was busy. I had to wait on the phone10 minutes or so until an assistant took my number for a call back which didn't happen for hours.

"Great Value for decent accommodations"

A very economical price was the greatest reason for picking this hotel along with decent reviews. Room was fine but there was an odd smell in the hallway. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was average or a little below what we are used to but price made up for that. Location was away from Tunica resorts and nicely quiet and easily accessible from highway.

In the middle of nowhere but open fields. Good for truckers, people on the road who want to get some shut eye, might be ideal for Casino fanatics but not for family and teenagers. largest city with attractions is 30 miles north in Memphis, TN. Staff is friendly.

"First time stay"

This was the first time I had chosen to stay at a Best Western. I was pretty amazed at how well everything looked and was handled. My room was accidentally reserved as a smoking instead of nonsmoking, the guy that checked us in said that he had an alternate room he could put us in, but was not an accessible room. We said ok and took it. The room was still pretty accessible. The wheelchair fit in the door to not only the room, but the bathroom door. Thanks to a grab bar in the bathtub my husband was able to take a shower. They kept an eye out and as soon as a nonsmoking accessible room became available they let us know and we were able to move into it no issue. The breakfast offerings were pretty good it not only had the usual continental breakfast offerings but also had scrambled eggs, patty and link sausage and waffles. Will definitely make it a hotel I will try to stay at in future trips.

"ACCEPTABLE OVERNIGHT STAY"

This was just an overnight stay on our way - and it was certainly a good value. While not in the casino area itself, it was a short drive. We found it to be less satisfactory than the usual we expect at a Best Western. However, it was certainly acceptable for a one-night stay. A nice room with a king bed and a sofa, but it needs an update and was not as clean as we are accustomed to. The toilet tended to run on noisily, and the WIFI was spotty. However, the night was comfy and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was good. So, all in all a decent stay at a very nice price - especially on a Friday night.

"Close but away from the hustle and bustle of a casino hotel"

The property is currently being remodeled, but not in an intrusive way for a pleasant stay. I stayed there while passing through a few years ago, and thought the property was decent (and I am a VERY loyal Best Western client). It will be even better in a few months, so don't let the remodeling scare you away. The breakfast area will soon be awesome; the food was very good; the staff exceptional. Stay there!

"Just what you need for an overnight"

This Best Western did everything right. We needed a one night stop and it provided a clean, spacious room with refrigerator and microwave, and a hot breakfast with plenty of choices in a lobby area with ample seating. It is not a "five star" resort in the traditional sense but deserves five stars as a hotel that delivers what an on-the-road lodging should.

"On our way to Florida"

This was our third stay at a Best Western on our way south to Florida. The quality of this Best Western is definitely not equal to the other two! We had to wait for someone to help us at the desk, and they had a smoking room reserved when we had paid for a non smoking, but they gave us a non smoking room. The room was a king room, and was clean and nicely decorated. No fitness room, an outdoor pool, which wouldn't be available till Memorial Day. The morning breakfast was very good and had all the items there website published. My only concern with this place is the insecure access to the building. There is no room key required to get direct access from parking lot right into main hallway on ground floor!

"Great Price for a Nice Stay"

The room was clean, the breakfast was hot and a nice selection. The 24 hour coffee bar was VERY nice!! Scrambled eggs, juice, muffins, sausage, breads, a nice variety. We did enjoy our stay. The only downside of our stay was wintery weather that kept knocking the TV out. Overall we would recomend if you needed a place to stay in the area.

"Nice budget friendly hotel less than 45 min from Memphis downtown "

Stayed here to hit Graceland the next day, seemed to be a safer area than near the Memphis Airport for a good price. This place is pretty far out but close to the casinos and we visited one for a little bit after asking the pleasant front desk person for advice (thanks for recommending the Hollywood one, it was worth a quick visit!!) Room was spacious, modern and clean. Walls seemed thin I could hear the next door person coughing, nothing a my white noise phone app could not cure. They are currently (end of Jan 2018) going through renovations so the lobby is a bit of a mess and the breakfast is over in a temp location. It was good and included eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee, and juice. Would stay again if in the Memphis area!

Great facilities for handicapped. Plan to remodel one of our bathrooms with a shower like the one in our room. The bed was great. The room was warm,roomy and had all necessary equipment. We would recommend this motel to anyone traveling.

"Wasn't so pleased"

I was surprised to see a stale and smelly food left over by previous guests in the microwave in room #200 that I was checked into. More so, when the hotel staff claimed they prepared the room before my arrival. Shouldn't the cleaning of microwaves in the rooms be part of the house cleaning?

"Improperly charge for room"

Booked room at a specific rate and was later charged $10 more. Called for early check-in and was told $10-$15 extra charge. Was later charged $22 for check-in about 2 hours early. TV remote barely worked, room, TV and décor very outdated. Eggs and sausage were not good, ate cold cereal.

This is a very good place to stay while in Tunica without having to pay the high prices of the casino. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all the question that I had. The hotel is less then 10 minutes from all of the casino in area. Beale street and Memphis is less then 30 minutes away. The town of Tunica is about 10 minutes. Th

Awesome Staff and nice rooms for a value price. I was greeted warmly when I arrived. Room was clean and very spacious. Check in and out was effortless. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a great place to go in you live in the surrounding area and is just wanting to getaway.

"Generally Adequate"

The hotel presents well enough from the outside but underwhelms a bit upon entry. The mats and entry way are a bit shabby and generally foreshadowed the overall experience. The carpeting in the hotel both in the hallways and in the room appeared tired and in need of update. The bed was generally comfortable but also felt like it had seen a few too many customers. The room did appear clean. The shower drain did not work well and filled during showers. The water was extremely soft - although this may be out of the control of the local hotel. Key card did not work and we had to be physically allowed into the room by the night desk person. Staff were friendly and generally helpful. Would stay again but this property does not fare well against other similarly priced Best Western properties that we have stayed in.

"Nice, but Under Remodeling Construction..."

Good place to spend the night. A ways from a place to dine. Staff was very helpful if you had questions, getting you checked in, etc. Breakfast area under construction so there wern't a lot of places to sit, and they didn't want you leaving the breakfast area with food... understandable. Breakfast did suck! The usual powdered eggs and processed sausage. Cereal... same ole same ole. Just a place to stay. Worked for one night.

"Good alternative to casinos"

The Best Western is a nice place to stay if you want to avoid the casinos. Room was spacious and in good condition. Breakfast was the usual selection on breads, (do it yourself) waffles, eggs, sausage, coffee and juices. The only inconvenience was finding a place to eat dinner. Besides a couple of fast food joints and the casinos there s nothing near the hotel. The closest town is 10 miles away.

"CAUTION"

Best Western corporate office gave me cancelation # 75102587266 the day BEFORE for reservations at Best Western Tunica. But BW Tunica still charged my AmEx card $118.96, and they would not refund the money despite having a cancelation number. I actually had to get AmEx to do a chargeback to get my money refunded. I don't know about you, but I personally consider it to be fraud/theft when a hotel charges you for a reservation you didn't use and you have been given an official cancelation number. (Hotels only give cancelation numbers for reservations that have been properly canceled.) I would be very careful about making reservations at BW Tunica. It's obvious they'll charge you even if you have a cancelation number. What else will they charge you for and not refund the money? Room was OK considering depressed market. FF&E is due for an upgrade. Would have liked another meat option for breakfast other than sausage. Room quality is on par with half of the casinos so if you want to avoid that in-your-face atmosphere this is a good choice.

The front desk people were great! Very friendly and nice. The room was clean and what you would expect for a Best Western. Breakfast was very good, eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, different juices and coffee. The hostess for breakfast was very nice and friendly. would stay again.

"Irma evacuee"

Stayed for multiple days due to hurricane Irma and the staff was very helpful in helping us find what we needed. Had a king room and was spacious with a sofa instead of a chair. Breakfast was waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage along with danishes, cereal and yogurt. I would stay here again.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff! The hotel has a good breakfast selection for guests to choose from and the lobby area is well maintained. The rooms are clean, modern, and in good condition. This place was very friendly especially Nikki! This place was clean and smelled very good. This hotel is quiet and peaceful with a really nice country atmosphere. This hotel is a real jewel in the area with surprisingly quick and easy straightshot access into Memphis with very little traffic. I highly recommend this hotel as a real value!

This was a nice place, bed was comfortable and staff was helpful. Breakfast was ok need mustard and biscuit so I can make a sausage biscuit. Did not use pool. The air conditioner in room worked great.

Bed was very firm. Shower head was broken. Orange juice tasted like water. Other than that the stay was nice. The hotel staff was very friendly. Check un was easy with a reservation. It was Not really worth the cost though.

Hotel appeared to be very clean and it was quiet. The only problem was a clogged bathtub drain which I'm not sure was addressed cause it was still draining real, real slow after reporting. Was offered another room if they couldn't repair but know one said if they repaired or not. Other then the drain thing it was good stay.

The room we got with a military discount was fabulous and the best deal around!!. Connie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (and I even caught her helping out in the breakfast area the next morning). Katrina did a fantastic job of keeping the breakfast area clean and the food plentiful and fresh. Facility is exceptionally clean. The outdoor pool was nice (wish it were indoors for the bad days, but!). So great stay!!

Everything about this hotel was great. There was an issue with the type of room that I booked online and upon arrival was given a different type. Nikki, who was so awesome, immediately contacted the general manager who gave her permission to make things right. She was super friendly and very sympathetic with the situation. Although being stuck in the middle of trying to remedy a guest issue and follow the rule of management, she went out of her way to find a solution. I was very pleased with the hotel overall and will definitely return. Thanks Nikki, you helped me kick off my birthday weekend on a positive note!

Came to Tunica for company golf tournament. Hotel was close to course and convenient to highway. Not impressed by the casino hotels and their associated high costs. The room was not big but it was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was good. Biggest negative was no TV guide to tell what was on or coming up on the channels.

Husband and I were in Tunica for a nigght of casino fun. Stayed over night here and was very pleased with great service and a very clean king room. Breakfast was good, eggs could have tasted better. Simple breakfast with sausage, yogurts bagels and waffles. Very close to the casino we played at (Horseshoe) would recommend.

Great hotel! Not in the center of the Casino strip, but still located close enough to easily access everything nearby without the exorbitant expense of some casino hotel rooms. We were in town for the casinos. We stayed at Best Western as we couldn't get a casino room on a holiday weekend. We'd seen positive reviews about Best Western and decided to give it a try. The hotel was very clean, from lobby to room and it was raining yet the floors were spotless. The clerk at the front desk was super friendly and efficient. The room was clean ad well-equipped and breakfast was good, with several options.. Made our entire experience painless (wish I could say the same about the casinos, lol). We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Good hotel for the price, cleanliness and friendly staff. Elevator was broken and we were on 3rd floor with heavy suitcases. A tour full of foreigners took over the breakfast area even putting suitcases on the tables so others could not use them. Couldn't get near the food.

We stayed at this hotel from May 14th till 17th in room 312. The room was alright, except the toilet leaked. We told three different persons on the front desk, every morning an other person that our toilet leaked. They did not repaired it. The always suggested we move to an other room, but we did not want to pack our suitcases and unpack in an other room. The same three persons were told that the ice machine on the third floor did not work. We got three times the same response: they are aware of it. The floor in the hallway of the elevator was dirty for three days and this on each level. Every morning we asked if there was any yogurt. They always apologized and told us that, because the hotel was full during the weekend, they ran out of yogurt. My response was that it takes only 10 minutes to drive to family dollar to get some. When we checked out we spoke we the manager. At least she told us she was the manager. I told her that they do not match the Best Western standard.She proposed to double my reward points. I checked my rewards but they only compensated 500 points. We are Best Western Platinum members and stay every year several times at hotels. So we have seen some during our stay in the States. My suggestion is to avoid this place, they cut corners every where. The only good thing was the price.

I recently checked into Best Western on the strip. It was Saturday April 22, 2017. I was there with my boyfriend for B'day. Checked in bout 4pm. Stayed at the Casino til maybe 2&3am. Showered, got in bed & within minutes we were biten. Pulled the cover back & a couple bedbugs were crawling around. Thats when we realized that the bed had been covered with 4-5 mattress pads. I guess that was for protection. Packed up & went to front desk & told them what happened. Not only were they NOT SHOCKED, they didn't even try to go check it out.Sad part is it looks very Nice & Clean... Never going back

The place was clean the service was great I only had one complaint. The wall jacks and telephone did not work in my room I did not have light on one side so that I could see and the clock did not work nor did the telephone. But overall everything else was good.

"Clean Hotel Reasonably Priced"

It was obvious that this hotel had recently been updated as the furniture had no scuffs or dents on it, and it even smelled like a newly remodeled hotel. It is VERY conveniently located near the casinos and the golf course, and it was almost half the price. I have stayed in both now, and I would choose this Best Western over the Gold Strike hotel. Hard to beat the convenience of just riding the elevator to the casino, but if you are willing to drive 5 minutes to save half the money on your hotel, this one is worth it. People were very friendly and the wi-fi and breakfast were both good. I would definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable,quiet,and no crazy resort fee!"

Looking online i was shocked to find casino hotel prices at the same or lower than this listing, however, I soon realized that the casino hotels also tacked on a "resort fee" between $15 and $30 (sometimes for amenities you shouldn't have to pay for: wifi, pool, excercise room.) So I was very happy to book this hotel at a reasonable price. Overall it was a pleasant experience: the check in at front desk wasn't necessarily hospitable but was efficient (and if i have to choose between the two I'm fine with the later), the room was a nice quiet location on the first floor, the breakfast was exactly what we've come to expect from "warm continental" and was consistently maintained throughout the breakfast serving. The bathtub was huge, so if you have kids or decide to take a nice soaking bath you won't feel like a beached whale. The grounds, facilities and decor were well maintained and looked fresh and up to date. Two things probably deserve attention: the microfridge was unpluged when we got into the room (this is the second Best Western I have found this in so I'm not sure if it is a power saving effort or if it gets unplugged for housekeeping) but it required us to move the credenza that houses the chest of drawers, microfridge, microwave, and tv just to plug it in (not an easy feat- so if you use this make sure you check it before placing anything inside, you might have to enlist help moving it), the second item was that the fitted sheet seemed too small for the king sized bed and kept springing up from the corners and enveloping us during the night. This gave us two options: getting out of bed several times to redress the bed or forget it and sleep partially on the sheet and partially on the mattress cover. Which in itself is a small grievance until you see my picture of the mattress cover... Still, these were minor enough not to discourage me from rating it 4...I'd stay here again!

The only thing bad about our stay was from 3 to 5 in the morning the people in the next room were loud and slamming doors. The food was good but I have had better at other Best Western hotels. Overall it was ok.

Beautiful property.Minutes to the casinos and nearby Memphis is only a half an hour away. Clean and comfortable with a very nice breakfast. Close to the attractions yet peaceful and very comfortable when you need to relax.

Stayed one night. Not bad when you just need a place to sleep. Bed, pillows, and pull out couch seemed a bit worn. Again 1 night just to sleep versus driving was fair for price. Did not have the breakfast fare. Left early before sunlight so as not to change my rating.

Just Pass if you can. Their prices might be lower but I guess you get what you pay for! Customer Service is awful. I booked the hotel and called the hotel before I confirmed my reservation about two specific needed request. The employees that booked my reservation was new and meant no harm in her lack of knowledge about the hotel. Upon our arrival we received our key and went to our room. It was not accessible and it did not have a roll in Shower or a sleeper sofa. Both things I specified I needed before I made my reservation. They did change my room to the first floor and an accessible room right by the lobby. It did not have a sleeper sofa but did have a roll in shower. Before I did receive the room change I had to explain my disability to the front desk which is absurd. I have a spinal cord injury and I am hemiplegic. I cannot get into a bathtub so that was my complaint number 1. I had to stay here from Wednesday night until Sunday! So it was a necessity to take a bath. The front desk man was rude because I was upset that neither of my request had been honored. I never got loud or belligerent in any way. I asked for the managers name as I wanted to discuss the issue with him. I ran into the manager in the lobby coming back to the hotel the next day and upon introducing myself, he informed me that he knew all about the situation and truly seemed in a hurry and though he may have felt that he knew all about it. I had a right, in my opinion to tell him my side of story. He informed me that he would review the cameras that had audio and video. I was aware that they have cameras because the gentlemen the night before informed of that when I asked for the manager's info. The positive point is that they are a team whether one is right or wrong they are going to protect each other. The next day the girl that made my reservation apologized and truly I do not hold her responsible. I do understand that mistakes happen. I would have been ok with the mistakes that happened if when I brought them to their attention their attitude woukd have been that of hospitality. The gentleman that was working the night of our arrival did try and locate a roll away bed for our room for Friday night when my additional guest would be arriving. This is a very tight fit for a roll away bed. We were expecting a sleeper sofa. The manager said they do not provide roll away beds but their website should be updated because it says they do. Fast forward to Friday as I have tried to keep to myself, I was in my room most of the day and wanted housekeeping to tidy my room before my guest arrived. Well needless to say it was 2 before he came back to clean my room because I was in the shower earlier when they came by and I asked for 10 minutes. He came back after an hour or so, but totally unprepared to clean my room. He picked up the dirty towels, emptied the garbage because I asked, and told me he didn't have his cleaning supplies. So he threw towels in the bathroom didn't clean didn't make the bed replace the coffee or toilet paper. The room needed toilet paper so I tried to catch him in the hallway but instead got the front desk clerks attention and she said she would bring some. She did and I explained that housekeeping did not clean and she made excuses for him but there are none, but at least they have that team thing going for them but definitely not the customer service thing in any category. I have never felt more miserable at a hotel! I will definitely NOT stay here again and wouldn't recommend it. I hope I can survive until Sunday! I haven't tried the breakfast but it looked decent our first morning here. The lobby tables were dirty in the eating area all day Thursday but I have just tried to stay in my room because it is just an uncomfortable situation and being right by the lobby in the first room and all the employees are aware of the situation. There are dead crickets in my room on the floor and I pray the sheets and comforter were changed before we got here. I am just very unhappy about the entire experience of which I paid for! I hate to give bad reviews and the manager asked me to be sure and give them a good review on trip advisor but it only got worse not better so I just couldn't help but be honest. This was just my experience.

First off I want to apologize for the inconvenience you had. We reviewed the cameras and found that our staff went over and beyond the entire time of your stay. The young man you checked in with was nothing short of accommodating. I admit they relayed the wrong information concerning the room type, but the fact is none of our handicapped rooms come with a sofa on the basis of, we want more room in the guest room just in case of wheel chair accessibility. That miscommunication we take full responsibility for. The manager was extremely nice to you, not to mention one of the staff you didn't even come in contact with went over and beyond and went and purchased you a roll-a-way bed to make your company's stay just as pleasant. We were never aware of the "crickets" you saw and your room did get cleaned after you asked, it just was not as soon as you thought. We want to make a guest stay here at the property feel as warm as home. Please do not hesitate to stay with us again.

We stayed here on the first night of a two week trip, and were pleased with the entire experience. Tonya was on duty when we checked in and was most helpful. Our first room had not been cleaned because the owner of the motel had been staying there and had not notified anyone when he left earlier that day. Tonya immediately got us to a ready room and got the cleaning staff to service the other room. The room was clean, well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Tonya also recommended The Hollywood Cafe a locally owned cafe mentioned by John Grisham in some of his books. Great Food. The motel is not a glitzy as the casino's but a better value.

First night stay as soon as we walked into the room horrible odor and the coat hanger next to the mirror was on the floor. they charged me 32,000 points for 1 night stay. on the second day i went to book again for that night i looked my points was not there i called the hotel and they said i had only been charged once. I then called customer care and they called the property and told them of their mistake and since I was needing another night and the points were missing i couldn't stay in memphis that night i asked since they had already charged me for a 2nd night could we just stay there so I had to drive the hour back to mississippi to stay at their location. On the 2nd night the room #231 the tub stopper was missing which made it difficult to give my 2 year old a bath we had to stuff a washcloth in the hole and then the tv remote didn't work and it wasn't the batteries bc the light was blinking on the remote. The staff was so nice and welcoming but the rooms need a lot of work.

Nice clean room. But had a smell, I think the aftermath of a bad puppy! I had Lysol! Gone! Good price!!!! Refrigerator, microwave and free breakfast nice!!!! Staff good. Bathroom very clean! Like the Tunica area!

Stayed 1 night with my 81 year old father. Later that day they accused me of taking towels with me when I left. They charged my credit card $69 for the towels. I did not take the towels. Don't stay here!

Great staff..food good but not great..great location..quiet.. Met a group of about fifteen golfers who were in town for some relaxation and a bunch of golfing..told me they stay here whenever possible..works for me as there is a beautiful golf course right up the street..wish I were there to play golf but only business this trip..will return in the near future and will have my golf clubs next time...Five star no but definitely a strong four thanks to STAFF...

This hotel was available at a good price and close to the casinos. The breakfast was good, but seemed liked everyone was waiting on the waffle maker. Pool was outdoor and small, but was enough for the kids to play in. Seemed like a safe area.

Tunica, MS was our stop on the way to Tennessee for the long Labor Day weekend. Tunica itself is desolte, and it was obvious upon arrival we'd chosen the best of the small splattering of hotels. I do not usually stay at Best Western brand hotels. The first room had stains in the sheets, so we requested a new room. The front desk assistant and all staff encountered were very nice and courteous. Breakfast was basic eggs and sausage with a waffle maker and yogurt. If I somehow landed in Tunica again I would probably stay again.

We loved staying here when we go to the Casinos. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They read and listen to customers review because they final have Yogurt on the breakfast line!!!!!!!!!!!! Hurry!!!!!!!!!! Cary is the best clerk, they all are but he really helped us out on a reservation problem we had. And he has seen Dolly Parton in concert nearly 400 times. They treat you like they see you all the time. Comfortable feeling while traveling!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were bugs in the bed!!! The front desk clerk said maybe I had a pet room... I have since been told they were bed bugs. I emailed the owner & have yet to hear back. The front desk staff was nice at check in even though the computer wasn't working & they didn't have my reservation.

Stayed at the Tunica Best Western while on vacation and traveling. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when asked about local land marks and places to eat. They were very helpful. The hotel was quiet and comfortable and we had a good evening stay there. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good service! I like to stay here when I have an early flight out of Memphis, TN. It is right off of Highway 61 and the staff are friendly, accommodating and remember me from past visits. The free internet service works well. If you don't have a computer, there is one in the lobby that is available to use. The rooms are average size but they have good lightening and the bed is comfortable.

The Best Western Hotel in Tunica was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was lovely, super clean, attractive, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the offering was great. We were very pleased with this hotel. We booked online, therefore, the price was very reasonable. We were greeted upon walking in and given a room quickly. We were informed of hotel amenities which included a hot breakfast, free wifi, pool, and given complimentary water. Coffee was available in the lobby. We were also given suggestions for good dining places. We were traveling on a motorcycle on a rainy day and were allowed to park our bike under the awning at the entrance. Only one restaurant close but several casinos a few miles away. Wifi was available and accessible although signal was not real strong.

Katie was the BEST. If I knew she would be there I would not stay any where else. She was so sweet, helpful, and funny we hated to go to our room. Some other places could take lessons from her. Her boss was very nice too, though we didn't see him much.

Hotel is in great location. The lobby was very clean and we were greeted upon walking in. Check in was smooth since I paid online. The room was ok, beds weren't very comfortable, there were hairs in both of the beds. Water pressure in shower was not good, water did not get very hot either. We also missed breakfast so I don't have an opinion on that. Overall it was an okay place for one night.

We had a fantastic time in tunica and best western we always have a pleasant stay. We come every year and stay with them. We never make reseveration but we always get a room love love love this hotel. You get breakfast ever morning awesome and the rooms are faboulous. Very very clean.

Check in staff was friendly. Room was clean and orderly. Breakfast was good with hot eggs, sausage and bacon. Pool was closed entire time there. Staff said they had a lot of rain and have been unable to good water balanced. I would stay here again.

Close to casinos Great breakfast..comfy bed and pillows. Magenta haired agent was sweet and professional. Who cares what color her hair is.The room is spacious and has king bed and sofabed. Flat screen tv and newly renovated. Great value.

Good location, well outside of Memphis, yet easy to access via a good freeway. Good room which was quiet, spacious, clean and well maintained. Excellent value for the cost of the room. Close to the casinos and the Mississippi River.

Nice place to stay. Had a comfortable bed. Good and fast internet. Very good breakfast with crisp bacon. Would recommend this hotel if you are going to spend some time in the local casinos. A much better value than the casino hotels. It was an unbeatable value for the area.

The hotel itself is great and clean nice friendly staff. The person who checked us out was very customer service friendly, the only complaint I would have would have to be on the disturbing pink hair desk lady that checked us in I was shocked to see such a nice hotel with someone unkept as she was when I entered my first impression was this might not be the place to stay she ended up being nice but the hair has to go not a professional color.

My husband and I checked into a room at the hotel...The lady at the front desk was not very professional..not only in her actions, but her demeanor was unprofessional. The pink hair was shocking to say the least.

"Sleepless weekend"

The first room we had the refrigerator made noise, the toilet ran and the elevator made a very loud hum, we requested a new room and was moved to the 3rd floor . In the new room all the mirrors were smeared as if wiped with a dirty cloth. The noise from the elevator was no better and woke us up all night as people came back to their rooms. The one thing that really ticked me off was the wifi, I had work I needed to do over the course of the weekend and I was unable to connect! I know it was not my computer as I was able to pick up the wifi signal from the Days Inn 2 blocks away and connect anywhere else we went, I even turned off my firewall. I could not use the computer in the lobby as I had to connect to my computer at home. Calls to the 800 number did not solve the problem and the only thing they told me a the desk was it had to be my computer because theirs was working. My wife was very upset as this was our anniversary and we were not able to make our planned stops on Sunday as I needed to get home to finish my work. Priceline had you at an 8+ rating but this was NOT an 8+ experience. Call to the hotel has not been returned. Breakfast was good. If booking this hotel ask for a room as far away from the elevator as you can.

"Nice Motel Near Casinos"

Stayed here three nights while we played golf. In the evenings checked out the local casino and the restaurants in them. Hotel very clean, great beds, nice furnishings, free Wi-Fi, nice hot breakfast and very nice staff. Everything you might want and the price was good.

"Better than last time"

We have stayed at this hotel before (had been about six years) and since the last time this was so much better. Even the fold out couch was comfortable, the breakfast was good in the morning also. We only stayed one night, on our way home but it was a well rested night.

"Saves money from the casinos."

Clean rooms, great hot breakfast. Friendly staff, the only complaint was that the entrance doors do not lock from the outside. Nice with the refrigerator and microwave in the room. We would stay again.

"Convenient Location"

The Best Western was just down the road from our event at the Paul Battle Exposition Center which made it very convenient when we attended a recent AQHA horse show in March 2016. We loved the breakfast and when the room that we were in had a noisy bathroom fan motor they relocated us with no issues! Thanks Best Western1

this hotel was very close to the area we needed to be and also the casino's for the adults. there was a mixup with our room type but was quickly corrected.breakfast was good, plentiful and fresh. the only disappointment was the pool was outside so we could use it in February. the front desk was great. especially the young lady in training, beautiful smile.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights while showing our horse at a Gypsy Horse show, The hotel is very clean and well kept. Breakfast was minimal, but all fresh and coffee was much better that Holiday Inn coffee. The bed was very comfortable. We would definatelt stay there again.

My boyfriend and I visited some of the Tunica Casinos on Valentine's day. We stayed the night at the Bestwestern. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was convenient to all the casinos. I will definitely stay there again.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable, had refrigerator, microwave, couch. There was coffee and tea in the lobby with flavored creamers. Full hot breakfast with all choices including waffles. We had friends meet us in the lobby, had coffee and visited before going to the casinos.

We found BW hotels a great value for our money. We have not traveled by car for a long time. i regret noy looking up BW before we started this trip. It was our pleasure to stay in your chain. We had one small issue in Biloxi. How to start the shower. It was quite simple just pull the drain down from the nosell. We had never seen this arangement before!

Just a bad hotel over all and very unclean. They say newly remodeled but it looks old, dirty and dark. I'd stay at a casino hotel verses staying here in a dirty remote field. The heater unit did not work right and the only saving grace was the check in girl. She was helpful and seemed to care, the check out lady was rude and did not say a word to me during check out.

Nice motel. Needed a place to stay while traveling. Very welcoming motel. Breakfast had all the hot items most Best Westerns have but sausage was limp and not browned. Other breakfast items were OK. It was a little more expensive than the casino motels but stayed at Best Western because of promotion to get points.

loved the staff. this place is amazing! Tonya is lways amazing when Im intown. I see why they have kept her around so long. The renovation is beautiful and they have added more to their breakfast. The Best Western Tunica Resort was exactly as advertised. I got a nice room with nice amenities for the price advertised with no hidden fees or conditions. I also got a good night's sleep. I will definitely use Best Western again!

"Forget the Casino's"

Great experience overall!! The front desk employee was extremely nice ( 1 AM ) . The lobby was clean and fresh coffee aroma made it feel inviting. The room was very clean and cozy. Just what we needed for our spur of the moment trip to Tunica. The free breakfast the next morning was great and delicious. The rate for our room was fantastic . Much better than the $150 rates the Casino's wanted to charge us..even after spending the day gambling there. We did not make reservations in advance not knowing how long we would stay. This overnight stay was perfect!

"If you're handicapped don't stay here...."

The handicapped rooms are on the second floor and while we were there the elevators were not working. We had to be moved to a non-handicapped room on the first floor. Not good. Plus, after we got home, we had an outbreak of bedbugs in our house. I can't help but think this is where we got them.

I was satisfied with the room; it had a microwave and refrigerator and the bed was very comfortable. Tonya, who checked us in, was very accommodating to our needs in ensuring we got a room close to an entrance and quiet. She also gave us the location of a good little cafe to eat. This was a medical trip so I was interested in a close location to the medical clinic and easy access to rooms due to my husband's mobility problems. The free breakfast was good also.

I recently stayed a couple of days at the Gold Strike but was unable to get a reservation for Saturday. I decided to reserve my third night at the Best Western Tunica Resort and was not disappointed. I was given a king room that was very clean and quiet. It had a microwave, refrigerator, a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, free Wi-Fi (that worked well), and a friendly staff. The free breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit and waffles. It exceeded what I would expect for a property in this price range. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was larger than expected for the value price. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was reliable. Ditto on other reviews comments on cleanliness and good staff. Easy to find - just a few yards off the main highway, and close enough to be at Casino's in 5-10 min. Much more attractive & desirable location for an overnight stay for me than being surrounded by neon!

We were in town to attend The Oak Ridge Boys concert at the Horseshoe Casino. I am glad that I chose this Best Western - we enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The upgrades are wonderful and our room was very neat and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast on the morning we were to leave. Overall this was a very good experience and we will be back.

"Good Save"

When I arrived on a Wednesday night, the handicap room I had booked did not seem to be available. I had booked and needed a handicap room on the first floor. To complicate matters, the motel elevators were out of order (and remained so four days later)The reception desk staff person reviewed all the available rooms in the system, got me into an appropriate room, not only as to type of room, but also location to the lobby area considering my specific disability. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet and restful. If I stayed there again, I would want the same room. Great Job!! Next, on the following Friday, a member of my travel group had an accident, which put my departure date, even how I would get home in question. I called Best Western and the (different) desk staff person not only took care of the immediate need, but she was there when I finally got in that night. She was reassuring, saying go rest, she had made notations of my situation to pass on to the morning staff, and room and rates were assured. Great Job!! The breakfast items were presented well, kept stocked, and the seating area kept clean. My only minus items were: not having the type of room I needed when I arrived (but this was handled very well), the lack of elevator (I witnessed many guests of all ages having to go up-downstairs with luggage, and some almost mis-steps) and the lack of available staff to help me with my disability re: bags/luggage nor to help others given the disadvantage of the out of order elevator(s). Mind you, every staff person I came in contact with was considerate and helpful when approached.

"Enjoyable"

Guest service was greeting, prompt and personable. Even though we had issues with Frig and microwave it was a simple power issue that was Promptly taken care of in minutes. They also experience an elevator outage that was (I believe ) an Ottis Elevator Company miss hap.The elevator company should have express ordered what ever they needed to solve their clients need and opinion DID NOT. It was out the duration of our stay.

My family and I stayed on a Saturday night, spur of the moment trip. The rate was a little too much but the room and the tub was worth it in the end. I got a great night sleep. The breakfast was good...eggs, bacon,sausage, waffles, muffins, toast..etc. The service and the people were sweet!!

The room was clean which is the most important feature of any hotel. I skipped the breakfast so I cannot tell if it is decent or not. This is a good hotel for the price. I was staying one night and the room was clean and hotel quiet.

"Sulfur Water"

Great place, except the sulfur in the water. Cleanest room we have seen in a long time. Good location and easy to find. The sulfur caused my wife to break out all over her body since she took a shower and didn't know the water was like that until she was in it. The water could be filtered and remove the offensive sulfur from the water. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. Service was average, nothing stands out.

Comfortable and clean room, much more than we were expecting. Lots of choices for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool could have been cleaner, but was nice for an outdoor pool. Would stay again.
