SureStay by Best Western Spicer

The rooms are in the process of being redone and we got a newly renovated room. The beds are great!! The staff is beyond friendly and amazing. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in for a great price! We left before breakfast so we didn't get to try it but the food that was there looked like a nice hot breakfast! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Super clean hotel and very newly updated. We arrived after 10PM and the staff was very friendly and welcoming! Staff was also very friendly when we checked out. Pool area was also very updated and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

The Front Desk staff were very nice. Check-in was fast and easy. Entire hotel was clean and well kept. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. I thought the price was right for how nice it was. Pool area was extremely clean and neat. Will definitely stay again!

I enjoyed my stay, the staff was nice and helpful. It was clean and comfy. I stayed a few nights and it was a great price. Hot breakfast was good as well. I had a truck and trailer and Parking was not bad. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through or visiting family.

The beds were very comfortable and the whole family slept well. The staff was extremely accommodating during breakfast. We were the only family there, so they waited to make everything fresh. We wish we could have stayed another night, so we will be back Excellent stay!

I reserved a room with two queen beds and a pullout couch. When I arrived there was no pullout and the front desk staff would not change my room unless I paid significantly more even though my reservation confirmation clearly showed that I'd booked and paid for a pullout couch.

We felt like we were walking into a Hallmark movie hotel!! Super cute and cozy lobby complete with a Christmas tree. Teresa at the front desk went out of her way to make us feel welcome and accommodate a room change for us. Loved that they have coffee available 24/7 and a great free breakfast. Complete with a lake view! I would highly recommend the SureStay. We loved it!

Clean, quiet, nice little breakfast. Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. For the price it's really hard to beat. Includes fridge and microwave. You can tell they really take care of this place

Great establishment! Great, friendly staff. I came in the middle of the night and the night shift lady was very helpful. The morning shift lady was just as friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely be staying here again.

This is by far the worst experience I've had at a hotel. Do not stay here! To begin with I said I was bringing a pet when I made the reservation, I also called the week before and asked about the pet policy which the lady at the front desk said she remembered me calling bc of my accent. I check in and go to sleep as I had just drove 1100 miles straight. When I woke up later and took my dog out I put her back in the room and ran back out to get clothes. When I came around the corner I heard the lady from the front desk say something to the guy cleaning rooms about a dog so I asked him on the way by if something was wrong he said yes the pet rooms are downstairs so I go ask the lady what is wrong and she said it wasn't on my reservation that I was bringing a pet. She gets it fixed and puts my in a pet room and says all is good. Monday morning a few hours after I leave I started getting random charges from the hotel starting at $100,115,242,242,242. Luckily my bank blocked them all. I call the hotel to try to figure what they are trying to charge me for the manager/owner Lilly says I didn't say I was bringing a pet which I did and thought that all got fixed when they switched me to a pet room. She then says the original charge of 286 got declined which was a lie. I told her if it got declined I'd turn my card back on so she could charge it. I turn my card back on and she then charges me 317. So I got charged 286+317=$603 for a 2 night stay. I reached out to best western corporate and they said they would investigate it, but if there was a refund of any kind I'd have to get it from the hotel. I will definitely not be giving them my new card number seeing what they've already done. Lilly you are more than welcome to send me a check for the $317 you have my address.

The staff was great enjoy view the breakfast was good Teresa was great told us about local people and restaurants we would like it if swimming pool and hot tub was open we enjoy are room loved location

We were not happy about the price for the quality. The smell of the rooms was atrocious. The staff was nice and accommodating; however, when I brought the concern of the smell to the manager she assured me it was new carpet smell. We were moved to a new room that wreaked of covered up pee. We will be Sure to never Stay here again or recommend.

Location is very convenient. Across the street from a very fun lakefront bar by popular green lake. Room is simple and very clean and organized. Food and nonalcoholic drinks are always available in lobby to get. Coffee in lobby is pretty strong. Front desk is very friendly and offers advice on fun things to do.

They advertise dog friendly the are not. If your dog is not registered (as they say) it's $100. The site says $150 deposit that is refundable if no damage and $30 a day per dog limit of 2. There is No such room handicap they say it is but no rails in bathroom and has a tub.

This place was amazing. The staff was incredibly accommodating. I couldn't say enough about how the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of the entire stay. We had entire hockey team stay and they said it was the best place for a team to stay.

Strong advise you avoid if you are planning a pool party/get together. Chemicals had to have been way off, caused rashes/sensitivity to touch/some blisters to all children who used the pool. Rooms were clean but overall very disappointed with the pool area

All of the kids that used the pool ended up with rashes- one ended up in the ER due to the severity. It was confirmed to be chemical burn. Two of the adults had rashes also- but did not spend as much time in the pool as the kids. We spend quite a few nights over a year at hotels -especially during winter months in MN- and the kids never have any issues to chlorine or pools. It's been two days since we have been there and my eyes still burn and are red.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Very thorough communication. Rooms were clean and the bed was conformable. Each staff member was friendly and helpful. I grateful for my stay and will trust them I'm the future.

Arrived during a nasty spiteful wintry mix storm that made me and my family want to call it a day. I saw the SureStay sign in Spicer and knew where to stop. Hotel was nearly a full house, but we were accommodated and checked-in by the very friendly Manager. She was there again in the morning to greet us. All the staff on site whom I encountered were friendly and helpful. Big up to your housekeeping staff for the very clean rooms. Well done, Spicer!

We went for a hockey tournament and they were wonderful. We had early games and they had breakfast ready for us. Rooms are very clean and they hung up a banner welcoming us! Very nice experience! Highly recommend!

Investment was made on capital improvements. You will like this hotel. Beds are great, pool area has been renovated. Pepsi vending machine. Nice place to stay in the Spicer area. Within walking distance of many places.

My room co-worker Had an amazing stay the hospitality here is great we're from Texas everyone is so nice and the view is beautiful the rooms are very comfortable the poolside rooms is what we had downstairs and it was great we were supposed to be upstairs and they seen we had a lot of luggage so they found us a room downstairs so we wouldn't have to go upstairs the owners there are absolutely amazing and sweet if you need a room this is where to go most definitely there's an American legion hall behind us so if you need a drink you can go there and there's a nice restaurant and bar across the street that has some of the best nachos I've ever eaten except for Texas Texas has the best nachos ever lol but I definitely give this place a five star just because their kindness here and the way they treat you Thank you so much Sure Stay for having us we greatly appreciate it and we greatly appreciate the way you treated us From the employees of BFC co. Awesome friendly staff! When we did have an issue with our room they immediately switched rooms for us! Rooms were very clean! Great location with in walking distance to lake, restaurants, shopping and more!

The bed was very comfortable. Layout in room was ok, but bathroom sink was totally in the wrong place. Receptionist were very friendly. Chair in corner by tv could have used a foot rest. Nice and quiet

Wonderful location. Public boat launch, beach, restaurants are all within short walking distance. Staff was SO nice and very helpful! Beds were SO comfortable, rooms were clean and bright. I would have given 5 stars but the continental breakfast was really small and basic. However I was so pleased that this hotel has continued the tradition of bakery items from new London bakery.

Didn't stay here//just checking out several in the area but just wanted to upvote the professional & courteous vibe from the staff. The office, lobby and grounds were very bright & tidy. Looked like abundant parking & really love how close it is to Green Lake. Definitely staying on my list for future stays….

Had a great evening after a wedding. Staff is very nice and will go above and beyond. Very nice indoor pool area. Walk across the street for some great food. Perfect spot for a fun weekend at a reasonable rate.
