Best Western Hotel Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit-South Beloit, South Beloit

The parking area was not well lighted. We arrived late in a rain storm and had to park around back, a construction truck pulling a trailer was allowed to park up close to the hotel taking up 6 parking places. We got soaked because of this. The fan control was disabled on the HVAC unit in the room and was set continuous to high, every time it came on it woke us up. The carpet by the door had two very large stains on it and should have been replaced. It's hard to believe that corporate Best Western would allow this. The only reason not a 1 rating was that the room was clean and coffee was ready at 5am.

My go to place when traveling on i90 in Wisconsin. Still have a nice quiet , clean and comfortable room . Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. Breakfast was awesome . Nice comfortable bed and hot shower .Outside was neat and orderly . It's still on my list of go to hotels

It was just ok, but over priced, beakfast was not appetiting, and coffee was bad (wouldn't drink it). other item: rooms was dark with lights on and AC was a little noisy. Staff was nice and the room seem clean even though it was a little out dated.

Title says it all. Tub/shower drained so slow you were standing in 2” of water. Toilet barely could flush. No plunger in room. Front desk was great as was the TV, bed, etc. It really wasn't a suite as I expected as the bed was really part of the main room with a short wall. BUT: it kept the light out of my wife's eyes as I got ready early in the morning…so I'll so that was ok. Will not return tho.

It was a odor in the room hair in the shower clogged tub dirty shower curtains old smell in the room move to another room and it was the same odor and the the tub had hair as well and you can't get you cash back you have to wait so basically you have to stay cause you can't get your money bk to go else where cause you have to wait for them to send it back and that bout take a few weeks I guess

One of the best, Best Westerns we've ever visited. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a King Suite. King bed and a spacious sitting area. Bathroom was nice and the room had the standard fridge, micro wave, etc. An indoor pool and fitness room were added amenities. Great stay!

Good place to stay for the money. Friendly front desk clerk. Hot tub was wonderful. Good variety of hot and cold breakfast foods. Slept well despite a pretty noisy a/c unit. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area.

Fantastic in every way and right off the highway. Great place to stay with a dog: green space, staff welcoming. The room was spotless and the front desk person was very accommodating in person and on the phone the two times we stayed. Breakfast eggs not good but the rest was.

Newer BW hotel. Just off interstate and back in quiet area!! Friendly front staff. Very large room and bathroom. Breakfast had multiple hot and cold items to choose from. Fitness room, indoor pool and hot tub.

This hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of choices from cold cereal and yogurt with granola to eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. The pool area was enjoyed by the kids.

Everything about the motel was great. Only bad thing was another guest at breakfast accused my wife of taking her container of weed (why would you bring something like that to the public breakfast area?). We decided to just let it go and pretend it didn't happen. But the next morning, there she was again accusing my wife of taking her weed. We got the front desk people involved, and they diffused the situation, but still didn't offer us any kind of compensation for the inconvenient hassle we had to deal with. Long story short, good motel with a good staff, but be aware that there is a legal dispensary across the street and not all potheads are passive. Some are unnecessarily confrontational.

The facility was well kept and I found all the staff to be pleasant and genuinely interested in providing a good travel experience. I would definitely recommend this property to others and look forward to visiting this property again.

Good, intermediate stop on trip. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful. It was nice to see that hot breakfast is returning and that hotel life is somewhat returning to normal. We would definitely use hotel again.

Stayed over for the third time with our dog. We were those able to spend Christmas with family and not have to leave the celebration early and drive 90 minutes home. My only suggestion is to bring your own pillows.

Our transmission went out on our way to the hotel… the staff made accommodations for us to stay an additional night, suggested great carry out pizza and made sure we were taken care of… they made a very bad day stress free… thank you!!

Clean and friendly! Staff is always there to help. Rooms are clean. Can't beat the price. We travel for business to the area in the winter months and this is always the place we stay. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was the best, the staff was the friendly and the make you feel like home. Breakfast was great ,the pool and hot tub was good . Parking lot was clean and the lobby too, if I need something the staff always help.

This hotel is reasonably priced, conveniently located off the highway, and clean as can be. The woman at the front desk (I believed she spelled her name Abbey) was such a pro and represented the hotel well. The rooms are basic as expected, and while the pillows were tiny nightmare bricks, it was a perfectly nice place to crash while in town for a wedding.

Convenient location off the interstate. Not many local eateries…staff and room quality were exceptional. Gal at front desk deserves a bonus!!! Great attitude. Hard to find nowadays in the service industry…

Super friendly staff at the front desk both days we stayed. Hotel was very clean and cared for. Full breakfast was available in lobby. The location was only a few miles from downtown - which was fine for us. If you're there on a Saturday, definitely go into town for the farmers market. Great place to stay!

This Best Western's staff is friendly. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I have two small, well behaved, dogs that are always welcome there. There is a huge area, away from traffic, where they can run on a long leash.

The room was very clean and nice. The hot breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Very friendly staff. Beds are very comfortable. Priced just right. Quiet and Easy to find. Would stay again.

Nice stay was looking for someplace about 5hr from home. Leaving at 5:30 at night wanted to get few hr down the road to save time and not waste the evening at home. We will stop again as we see pet's welcome. Everything was good but with covid I think short on staff. Breakfast open at 6:00 but at 6:30 waffle machine empty, no regular syrup, coffee was empty and no towels in bathroom. I do not think it is always this way. Very clean. nice room.

The staff were very friendly and the overall experience was nice. I had been here before and will continue to come. I brought my family to stay also. The place was very busy but not overly noisy. Breakfast was pleasant and there was a variety.

I originally reserved the room for 1 night. My fiance and I NEVER do things like staying in a hotel because we are ALWAYS at work or home with our kiddos but we wanted to do something just the 2 of us so we chose to extend our stay. The 2nd day we left for awhile and when we came back our keys didn't work to get into the building... we had to walk all the way around to the front to get in. I went to the front desk and asked why our keys weren't working (we tried BOTH) and the front desk lady (her name was Peggy) told me, very snotty, that we were supposed to check out at 11 (this was around 12:30) so I said "no ... we reserved the room for another...." I didn't even get the chance to finish my sentence before she cut me off and started YELLING for me to "calm down" when I wasn't even angry or being mean/aggressive in any way. Then, I ask to speak to someone else and she replied "No you WILL NOT You'll deal with ME". I quietly waited for her to check & make sure I reserved the room for another night & reprogrammed my keys then I walked away without another word & she literally yelled YOU'RE WELCOME across the lobby as I walked away... I hadn't thanked her because of her attitude. I then called corporate and reported her behavior/treatment of guests (this was the day before yesterday) and I have yet to receive a call back from the manager. I am VERY unhappy with my stay because of this... that is NOT how you treat guests/customers. That lady should NOT work in customer service!! I will not be going back to that hotel in the future!

The hotel is nice. The room I was in the handle in the shower was messed up. You had to play around with it to get it to work. There were some trucks with reefer on them that ran and shut off all night. People walking in the halls at all times of the night being noisy. Beds are hard as a rock. Check in and out was quick

We paid $230, I asked for a room with a hot tub but they booked a jacuzzi room to start, the jets weren't working, Abby showed us how to adjust them but even on fully they were weak and I had to clean the jacuzzi before we used it due to a crusty residue. Not recommended.

We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and it was extremely clean, affordable, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of places to order from close by, as well as gas stations and easy highway access.The perfect, relaxing, break for 2 when we all need a little alone time! THANKS!

I have been staying at Best Western hotels for over 20 years. I know my room will always be spotlessly clean and fresh, and all the amenities they offer are excellent. My last two stays in 2020 were during COVID restrictions, so the hot breakfast and dining area was amended for that, but the breakfast food they offered including breakfast sandwiches to warm up in the microwave was great! Plenty of coffee and juice, fresh fruits, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, danish, bagels, etc. was all fresh and just perfect.

I recently stayed one night at the Best Western in South Beloit, IL on a Friday night. This was a return trip for me, as I had stayed here about 3 years prior. I had a great experience then, so I decided to return for my visit this time. I had made the reservation about 7 months prior to staying, so that was before the Covid shutdowns had even occurred. I never would have thought at the time that we would still be in the midst of this situation, but I decided to still take my trip. This was the final night on my trip along the southern part of Wisconsin and northern part of Illinois. I had kind of a long day of driving, as I started in Platteville on Friday morning, saw a friend in Galena, IL, and then made my way to the Beloit area. I arrived to check in almost right at 3:00, and the front desk workers were again very friendly and efficient. I was happy that a room was ready for me, and I felt safe with all the Covid precautions being taken. I had a standard room with king bed on the 2nd floor. The room was nice and quiet! I was the last room on one side of the 2nd floor, along the back of the hotel, so I found it very quiet. I decided to use the pool/hot tub right away after checking in since I thought it might be quieter that early in the afternoon. You need to check-in with the desk in order to use the pool and get a special key right now due to Covid. I was a bit surprised that about 10 other people were already using the pool that early, but I enjoyed my time down there. I stayed for about an hour; the hot tub was super relaxing, and it helped my stiff neck and back! There were a number of restaurants in the area that would deliver, both in Wisconsin and Illinois, so that was nice! I opted for some delivery later on in the evening because I didn't feel like going back out. I appreciated that the front desk called my room when the delivery driver arrived with my order so that I was expecting him. I had him come right to the room, which was great, but the desk said I could also meet him down in the lobby. I enjoyed the variety of TV stations available in the room as well. The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept very well here. The breakfast on Saturday morning was good, but I did not eat a whole lot since I was meeting a friend for a late breakfast/early lunch at 10:30. I went to the pool/hot tub again one more time on Saturday morning before checking out. I really enjoyed my stay here again, and I would return if my travels bring me back to the Beloit area. I prepaid for the stay way back when I booked, and I think it was under $100, so the rate was not bad at all for a weekend and summer! I would recommend Best Western in Beloit for everyone, whether for business or pleasure!

Really a great stop on a long cross country journey for us. Impressed with the cleanliness and care for the guests concerns. The property feels new, and fresh. Would definitely stop there again. It's on the Sunnyside of the street!

With various COVID19 Guidelines in various states it sometimes brings questions on where to stay. This particular Best Western is GREAT. The staff greets you with a friend face. They answer your questions and ask if you need anything. The facility is clean and appealing. If you're looking for recommendations of food, they are there with recommendations. This staff cares that you enjoy your relaxing stay with them.

I recently stayed at the Best Western in South Beloit while attending races at nearby Blackhawk Farms. I had stayed here perhaps five years ago and at the time had remarked to my wife that of all the inexpensive hotels in the world, this was the best one. This time, during the COVID-19 period, I was of course more concerned. But Debbie the manager could not have been more helpful, explaining all the heightened safety measures they had implemented. And with this particular hotel, it was evident from the moment I walked in that she was not exaggerating. Clean, quite, a smooth-running air conditioner, and the nicest staff anywhere. Some of the fine five-star hotels at which I've stayed (including Penisulas, Four Seasons, and Park Hyatts) could learn a thing or two from these folks.

After 16 hours on the road it's nice to stay at a place where I could get a safe and comfortable sleep. I love soft beds and you delivered! I have a medical condition and can only lay down for a couple of hours. I finished the night in the easy chair, spending the rest of the night sleeping like a baby!

Overnight stay, while travelling from Canada to South Carolina. Hotel was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Check-in fast and efficient, also some tips on where to eat for supper. Breakfast was included the next morning, I would definitely recommend this Best Western.

We read the reviews and were pleasantly surprised at the hotel's overall cleanliness including the lobby, common areas and certainly the rooms. Thee staff were courteous and extraordinarily pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

Great breakfast, great service and staff was very kind and helpful, rooms were nice small pool but kids enjoyed it... all in all enjoyed our stay and very nice for the price would definitely will stay again.

Room was Not Handicap friendly as promised as it did not have a walk in shower but instead just had a Tub shower which I could not access. cleanliness of room left little to be desired. Lighting in the room was poor. The Breakfast was atrocious and therefore no value for the money.

I was traveling north on the interstate and the snow was really coming down. I pull off at this exit to get fuel and decided not to fight the weather anymore. From the time I check in to the time I check out this hotel was very accommodating. Nice clean room and hot breakfast was awesome. Every one was helpful and up beat made a long day of driving end good.

This is a very comfy hotel. We stayed here with our Pomeranian. We found the room clean, well set up and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, iron, tv, etc. The free wifi was very good as was the free breakfast. There was pork sausage, scrambled egg patties, waffles, etc. All tasty for a quick breakfast. The beds are harder than I like but maybe that is just me. The towels are soft and fluffy. The decor is nice and cheery, and the staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Even the dog had a nice time. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a really comfortable, clean place for themselves and their family when traveling in the Beloit area. A very welcoming place for people and their pets.

Perfect place to stop in Northern Illinois. The breakfast was very good, and so was the room. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy. I'd stay here again.

We were in town for a event and had not stayed at this location before. The place was very nice and clean. The service was great, and breakfast was hot and good! We plan to come back here and stay again. ~R

The staff was very welcoming even the housekeepers made a point to say hello to us. The lobby and rooms were very well kept. Breakfast was really good and pool/ hot tub were clean. There were plenty of outside access points for smokers with ashtrays.

We have ran into some horrible hotels that have made our fun youth sports weekends a lot let fun. The staff at Best Western Beloit made sure that did not happen. The hotel was a great and very accommodating. The staff was amazing making everything easy and enjoyable. Thank you!

My family was only 3 miles away with a full house. this was such a convenient get away and easy to pop back and forth to visit and have christmas there . nice and clean, good decor, good breakfast with protein , good coffee and tea, and comfy bed.

Everything about this hotel was top-notch!!! Super friendly employees! Clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel is located in safe, quiet area. Breakfast options were good and served in a large, clean area. I will DEFINITELY stay here again!

It was nice to sit in the hot tub after a long day of driving. The room was clean and the bed linens were comfortable too. The breakfast was a normal hot breakfast and very well stocked and the eating area well kept and clean.

I arrived late and departed early. The staff was very accommodating in checking me in and out very quickly. The hotel is very nice and quiet. Very new and modern decor. Comfortable bed provided me the few hours of sleep I needed to make my way home the next day.

My wife was raised on South Beloit, IL and moved to my hometown in West Virginia when we got married. Late in October, her grandmother passed away and we had to travel in for the funeral. After a long drive (made longer by road construction) and we were exhausted by the time we arrived. It was close to 8 PM local time and after twelve hours on the road the last thing we needed was a rude desk clerk or a dirty room. Thankfully neither of these happened. The clerk was friendly, our check-in was swift and the room was spotless. Not a speck of dust was to be found anywhere, the bed was immaculately made and someone took a great deal of time to make sure that even behind the toilet paper roll was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I had no issue falling asleep, whereas I normally do in a hotel bed. The entire building had a warm, comforting and welcoming atmosphere and a fresh "just cleaned" smell was everywhere. The breakfast was one of the absolute best I've had, with a good variety of options and the most delicious waffles I've found in years,. The staff was on the ball making sure everything was fresh and cooked just right - no runny eggs or burned bacon to be found here. Check-out was just as quick and efficient as check-in and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal. We're planning another trip - for a convention this time - in May and we are definitely staying at the South Beloit Best Western for part of that. An absolute five-star experience.

Not only were the accommodations clean and comfortable, but once the staff knew the reason for my stay, they went out of their way to make sure I was okay. I was there because a member of my family was in hospice care and passed and every member of the staff offered condolences and with kindness asked what they could do to help. I was very appreciative that complete strangers offered such kindness.

The Best Western Legacy Inn and Suites is located in South Beloit, Illinois directly on the state line of Illinois and Wisconsin. It's just off the first Wisconsin exit and convenient to stores, gas and dining. This is a very clean and quiet hotel where you'll get a great nights rest.

The service we received was excellent. They were very accommodating and welcoming. I reserved two rooms, and had no problem checking into them upon arrival. The rooms were very clean and the climate control was set just right for the cooler weather. The location and amenities were convenient and/or accessible. I am from 750 miles south of Beloit, and found the employees of the Best Western very friendly and helpful. Especially after such a long drive. I will reserve rooms at Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit/South Beloit again!

I booked this room for my parents who were visiting from FL - they reported that everything was just great - comfortable bed, spacious room, everything clean and tidy, quiet location, and friendly and easy check-in and check-out. They enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and said they'd be happy to stay here again!

Nice, clean, quiet comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Neli's restuarant is near by that offers a lot of choices on their menu at very reasonable prices and the servings sizes are plentiful! There is a Denny's close by as well as a convience store/gas station.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast each morning was served hot and the coffee was excellent. I have no complaints the hotel was clean and the water pressure for showers was great compared to most hotels.

Hubby and I wanted to get away from the children if only for the night, And BW luxury suites was the place todo it. Pool and hot tub was clean, water was just right. Towels clean and plenty of them. Room/bath was clean temp was fine. Had tv, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, iron,& a blowdryer in room that all seemed to work, plus a lock box for you valuables. Alarm was the only thing I found that didn't work. Loved the size of the bathroom and the bed was just amazing wish I knew what kind it was so I could buy myself a new bed. Breakfast was good and hot had eggs,sausage, waffles, oatmeal, toast, muffins, fruit, all kinds juices, milk, coffee, hot chocolate,and cereal. We will definitely stay again and don't think we will wait until our 30th Anniversary!

We ended up at this hotel because of a wrong turn in new construction on our way home from the West. I'm glad we did. Bothy husband and I were worn out from a days travel in highway construction with heavy traffic. The front desk clerk, Debbie, greeted us with a friendly efficiency that everyone in the hotel business should mirror. She went above and beyond offering to help us and answering all our questions. Our room was comfortable, clean and quite. Our bathroom was spacious with plenty of counter room and a a soaker tub with shower. Beds are comfortable, plenty of pillows. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7. An area in the lobby stocks snacks and sodas for sale. Breakfast is the usual fare with a friendly and efficient staff.

Check in process easy, friendly staff. Clean rooms & nice decor. Bed & pillows comfy. Pool & hot tub area nice. Disappointed there was not any chairs for guests to sit on in the outdoor patio area in back.

This hotel is amazing. Clean staff is nice so far is the best hotel. When I go to other best western I always expect them be like this one. I well for sure go there again next year. And I would suggest people to stay at this hotel.

I have never stayed here. I never checked in, nor did I receive a "checked in" confirmation for any particular date; however, I received a "ckecked out" confirmation for a specific date as well as an email stating, "How was your stay at Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit-South Beloit?" AND THEN a charge of $115.89!! (which unfortunately caused an overdraft charge) At the time of booking I confirmed there would be NO CHARGE if NOT checked in.....and I confirmed that no notice was needed. Since being charged, I have calIed multiple hotel chains and confirmed that consumers are only charged IF they "Check IN". I have never checked into or stepped into this establishment. I asked the right questions at booking time but consequently false information was provided. I feel that I would have given your establishment a great review should I have actually stayed there.

I do not show a cancellation for this reservation therefore you were charged 1 night stay. Our Front Desk agents are trained to provide this information if asked at the time of booking. It is your full responsibility to cancel a reservation if you were not able to make it. There is nothing else we can do regarding this matter. Very nice, clean and friendly place. Was very satisfied with everything and give a 10 rating for staying there. Easy assess to highway and yet a quiet place to relax. Wonderful breakfast! Would recommend to anyone.

Convenient location from I-43 and I-90, hotel had every facility any Bestwestern hotel chain usually has, but quality of towels, bedsheets were not very clean, they smelled as they had been used by other person, hotel had hot tub, that had very very hot water almost burnt my skin. Hotel provided breakfast.Front desk person was nice and helpful/

We needed a hotel spur of the moment due to a death in the family. Best Western in South Beloit was wonderful and even allowed us to check in earlier than the normal check in time. We had two dogs with us and the cost is only $15 per animal. The cheapest in the area. The customer service was exceptional and the hotel clean. Our room was clean and everything worked. We will definitely stay in this hotel again

I would recommend this facility if you are traveling in the area. The staff is concerned that your stay is comfortable and the environment is welcoming. I have stayed at this facility several times in the last few years and the welcoming environment is always there. They treat you with respect and like family. Everything was clean (inside and outside) and neat appearing. I recommend you try this hotel the next time you are traveling.

We have stayed at this hotel before and chose it for that reason. It is convenient to the inner state as well as the entire Beloit area. Was staff is always friendly and they were extremely helpful in making certain we had a room that could commodate my father's mobility issues. The breakfast was your standard hotel fare, but we did not eat it. We did have the coffee.

My family return to this hotel consistently for the nearby horse shows and are always extremely pleased with the hotel and amazing staff accommodating are every needs. We start our mornings very early for the horse shows and the fantastic staff always have the breakfast set up extra early for us. Amazing hotel and staff, highly recommended

Nice stop with lots of green grass to walk the dog. South Beloit is less congested than the stops in Rockford or Beloit. Hotel was clean and room was spacious. Only issue was the constant droning of the refrigerator so we had to unplug it to sleep. Fitness center is good condition. Breakfast was average.

Stayed while visiting family. Room was clean, will stay here again when I visit. The breakfast bar was better than some. Had scrambled eggs and some breakfast meat choices. Staff was friendly. My nieces enjoyed the pool.

Check in staff was efficient, friendly and prepared with a list of local restaurants for meals. Room was clean, fresh and well taken care of. Refrigerator wasn't working, but since I had no need, I didn't report it. Quiet at night. Even with a busy checkout line at 7:00 a.m. staff was courteous and cheerful. Would definitely stay again.

We used to stay at Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn and Fairfield Inns but recently have been using B/W. Most of the B/W hotels we have stayed in are very much superior to all of the other properties and much more reasonable. The South Beloit hotel was clean, quiet, well furnished and an excellent matterss

This hotel is very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good! We only stayed one night because we were traveling. So, if you are on the road and need a nice quiet stay, give this hotel a look!

Was a stop on our vacation trip heading home. Nice and clean hotel. Room was comfortable and bed and bath were clean. Breakfast was good for our family. Had everything we needed to start another day of driving.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located near places we were visiting. The hotel has a friendly, helpful staff. The building looks new and is well kept. They offer a great breakfast and have both a pool and workout room. We had a great visit!

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend while I was diving at nearby Pearl Lake. Nice clean rooms and reasonable breakfast. Only downside is there's not much around. Gym was a little dated. Would stay here again though.

Nice and quiet . Very clean and comfortable room. Good hot shower , great breakfast , very good front desk . Front doors are not automatic . The bed tax just got raised in Illinois . This room was 139$ plus 20$ in room fees . I'll sleep in Wisconsin. But if your desperate this is a nice place to stay

The hotel is close to Blackhawk Farms raceway and offers a great place for people who want to go racing there. It's clean, quiet and easy to get in an out of. The air-conditioning is cold and the place is clea.

Always so friendly. Clean affordable. Clean pool ..safe ..Breakfast is Hot and Good. But most of all i must say the Beds are the Best around. I love how the house keeping keeps up.very clean and most of sll helpful and friendly

This facility is beautiful, clean and very reasonably priced. There is a large selections of items for breakfast and beverage. The staff greet you with a smile and are sincere to help you win whatever you might need.

Very nice area, quiet and calm very clean. and right off the express way. Nice and clean hotel with a hot & cold variety of breakfast. Nice friendly staff that knows the area well. If you are traveling and need a rest stop by, or in need of a nice get away.

I enjoying staying at the Best Western outside of South Beloit, Wisconsin for several reasons. First, they are a mile or so off I-39 any Hwy 75 which allows this hotel to be quite for sleeping. Second, this is a very clean and well kept hotel. If, you like to swim after a long day in the car you'll enjoy their in door pool. They have a great breakfast bar with a very pleasant dinning area. Most of all the staff is very pleasant, efficient and extremely accommodating. I stay at this Best Western at least three times a year.

This hotel was almost new and very clean and comfortable. Room was spacious, breakfasts were great and staff were outstanding in helping and making sure needs were accommodated. I slept as well as if I were at home!

We drove from Ontario to Alberta to see new grandson, so we stopped at Best Western and we were impressed with the room. But website needs to be updated because 2 are no longer available as we found out late at night

I had a good stay the weather was bad but had a few places to eat close by so I didn't have to go far. The room was nice and everyone I met was nice. Good Breakfast with a lot of choices and different items each day. I would stay again.

We have stayed here for the past eight years when attending horse shows. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It is common for the desk staff to do small extras on their own. For example, bringing in peppermints to have at the front desk to take to the horses. We actually look forward to staying there, and seeing the staff, who feel like old friends. They are pet friendly, and our dogs have always been happily received. Amazingly, even though this is a pet-friendly hotel, the rooms are always spotless and never smell. We highly recommend the Best Western South Beloit!

This is a hidden gem, the motel is clean and well run, rooms are nicely decorated, breakfast is thoughtful and yummy. The best part is that the employees are beyond friendly. We needed paper plates, a phone charger, a bottle opener and they gladly provided all of these things.

My mother passed recently and I had to make arrangement for a lot of my family to come for the visitation and funeral. Peggy was extremely understanding and helpful in making sure all of our needs were met. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel from management, front desk, housekeeping, food/beverage attendants, etc. were all extremely helpful and nice. It may not be the fanciest hotel but it is nice and clean and the staff is great!! It is also pet friendly which was a great relief as I had no where to keep my dog during the visitation and funeral. It was also nice and quiet, which was great during an emotional and stressful time. I wish I had everyone's names to thank them for making a very difficult time much better.

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The pool room was large which was really nice, but the pool was only 3 ft 6 in in the deep end. Awesome for the kiddos, not so much for the adults. Considering the size of the room, the pool itself was rather small.

Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness good. Only thing not too many restaurant options, but Beloit, WI is up the road about 3 miles and have a better selection. Parking is good.

Needed a night for a swim meet in Beloit and chose the BW. What a great choice, check was easy, hit the pool around 4:30 and it was clean and totally empty with plenty of towels and relaxing hot tub that was just right! Very spacious shower, being 6'4 this is must and it was a very welcome sight seeing that. Very nice clean bathroom and facilities in general. I am very picky about hotel cleanliness and this places passes with flying colors! Took the family down for breakfast to another extremely clean and well kept dining area, very good hot, cold and other options to be had. Very friendly and hard working staff, we will stay here again in a heartbeat!

While traveling I randomly picked this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facility and the hospitality of the front desk. They really made my one night stay very nice. If I come this way again I will make sure to stop here!

Front desk personnel were attentive and great. Easy check-in and -out. Pool was chilly, but the hot tub was great. Unfortunately, and not the hotel's fault at all, there were a group of parents with lots of bratty, screaming, obnoxious kids in the pool and in and out of the hot tub. That's what you get when parents don't parent, combined with it being Saturday night. Front desk recommended Anna Marie's Pizza, which was fantastic. Breakfast was available earlier than advertised and was very nice; normal for the chain. Would definitely recommend.

I like everything about this Best Western - Check-in is always prompt and professional, the pool / hot tub area is always clean and look forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a long drive. Always clean, has fast internet, and enjoy the eggs for breakfast.

I stayed at the Best Western in South Beloit while participating in my high school reunion recently. The hotel was attractive and comfortable. The best part of the visit was the professional help of the hotel manager in resolving a reservation and billing problem prior to my trip. The problem was solved with a brief phone call from the manager to me a couple of days before I left home.

Stayed here for a wedding a few weekends ago. The beds were comfy, and the staff was great. continental breakfast was very very very very minimal, so if u are expecting the normal continental breakfast, that is not what you will get here. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable.. DO NOT TAKE DRINKS/BEVERAGES to the pool.. not allowed.

The whole staff goes out of their way to assist their customers with any needs they might have. They are concerned that you enjoy your stay with them. The facility is extremely clean; they great you with a smile and are extremely courteous. They will even recommend places to eat and visit during your stay. I continue to stay there due to the staff, the appearance of the facility, and the amenities they offer.

We would stay here again. The staff was quite friendly. The room was clean, the lobby was amazing. It's only 7 minutes away from DC Winery where our son's wedding was. It was good! It's easily accessible but doesn't have much around, but that was okay. We made our way around.

My best friend was getting married and she wanted to have a girls slumber party the night before her wedding. The plan was to get ready at the hotel and the limo would pick us up at 1:30 for her 2:00pm wedding. We were told that check out time was 12pm. The limo was coming to get us at 1:30 and take us to the wedding venue. So I called to the front desk and asked if we could get a late check out at 1pm. I was told 12pm was the late check and there was nothing that they could do for us. So my friend and her bridal party had to finish getting dressed in the lobby of the hotel. Well my friend's wedding planner came to the hotel to check on us and seen us getting ready in the lobby. The wedding planner is a white woman and my self and my friends bridal party are all black women. The wedding planner goes to the front desk and asked for us to go back to the room until 1 and the front desk was more than happy to assist her with that. The racism was so blunt it ruined my friends wedding day. I will never give this hotel anymore of my money and you shouldn't either.

There are several things in your statement that are not correct. First, our check out time is 11 am which your party was aware of. By providing you with a noon check out we were extending our check out time by 1 hour without a charge. This was agreed upon prior to check-in. Concerns with this were not brought to our attention until the night of check-in during which we kindly explained that we were not able to extend beyond noon as we had a very busy Saturday ahead of us with a lot of check-ins therefore we needed time to get ready. This is a very common response that we provide to anyone who requests anything beyond noon. At that time, 2 other options were provided to you which your group chose not to take advantage of. 2nd, when someone called down after 12 pm to request a later check out we kindly stated that 1 out of the 3 rooms may stay until 1 pm but we needed to start cleaning the other 2 rooms. This was already a stretch for us as we quickly had to adjust our schedule. 3rd, after 1 pm your entire group (25+ people) decided to take over our lobby, breakfast area and hallway to take wedding picture and carry on without ever getting approval from management. Here again, we worked around it and adjusted. It was not until 2:30 pm that your group left after which we again had to adjust everyone's schedule to clean up the main public area in order to get ready for our 3 pm check-ins. So in summary, we did our best to cater to your needs within our limits. Finally, our policies apply to everyone. We do not discriminate against race in any way. Called this morning to block out rooms for a wedding. I was told that the GM was on the other line an that she would call me back right away. I waited over an hour and called back. She answered the phone, I told her that I had called and was waiting for a call back. she told me that "I don't ever call people back right away", I said "oh really, that makes me question whether I want to book these rooms, and her reply was "you certainly don't have to". That made my decision to call other hotel. She was perfectly happy to let my business go down to another hotel. In the process of writting a formal complaint to their headquarters.

If that timeline did not work for you we ask that you specify during your initial conversation with our front desk agent and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline. Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. No surprises. Checking was easy. Clerk was friendly and helpful. We were traveling to South Dakota and stayed one night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. A nicer Best Western.

Nice clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Good complimentary breakfast. Staff recommended family restaurant a couple miles down the road that had a good selection of food at a reasonable price with generous portions (Neli's). Access road to hotel not easily seen.

This BW is located in a most convenient location for one of our stops while traveling. It is clean, quiet, and convenient. While the location is great, there aren't many choices for nearby food and drink, or points of interest. Gotta love Subway, or drive a ways to a Italian restaurant.

Very nice hotel and convenient location for Blackhawk race events. Stayed there before and will stay there again. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, good parking available, fast check in and out.

The staff and management of this facility is EXCELLENT. They make you feel welcome; they ask you if you need anything; they go out of there way to even refill coffee when they are in the breakfast area. The greet you by name when they see you come and go from the facility and they smile and are concerned that you are comfortable. They make it seem as this is your temporary

The staff and amenities in South Beloit are top notch and a great value for the price of our room. The remodeling looks great, too. You are all so attentive and welcoming that we love staying here. The comfy bedding, nice bathroom and cleanliness meet or exceed our expectations.

Stayed at this hotel for events in Beloit. It offered a clean and comfortable stay with BW type amenities. Came I three hours early and the staff had us in our room in minutes. Really appreciated the accommodation they made on our behalf.

Let me start by saying I am very very fair in my reviews. This hotel while new it has a LONG way to go with customer service. DEBBIE is the rudest woman. She not only harassed my mother and sister. She upcharged for 2 beds, then when my mother questioned the price she told her she wasn't allowed two beds unless she planned on paying more and proceeded to move my mother and sister to a king bed. She belittled them for bringing a cooler with drinks. She was NOT wearing her name tag. How dare someone in the hospitality industry treaty anyone like that. Shame on this hotel for allowing DEBBIE to continue to work there and harass their customers. I promise you I will be contacting corporate. As a former manager at JW Marriott and a Conrad Hilton I am disgusted by the tactics this hotel allows its employees to use to treat their customers like trash. Avoid this place and Debbie like the plague.

Ryan, I am very disappointed by reading your review for many reasons. Debbie has been with our property since it opened in 2007 and she has been a model employee. She works very hard to accommodate every single guest and we have had nothing but stellar reviews about her. She truly cares about our property, our guests, and goes above and beyond to ensure that their stay is always excellent! Every hotel has rules and policies that guests most follow and when those rules or policies are not being followed it is our job to bring attention to those items. Every hotel also has different price structures for different types of rooms. For example, at our property, if you book a standard king room the price of that room is lower than the price of a double queen room, therefore, in most situations, we require that the guest pay the difference. If they choose not to, they may remain in the the room they originally booked. I do not see any issues with this and I do not plan on changing this pricing structure. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is basic. But the staff could not be nicer. The pillows are a little small and strange. But there is a microwave and mini frig in the room. And like I said the staff are wonderful.

Came to town for the weekend. We had a big group and also rented the meeting room. Upon entering hotel to check in I think the front desk employee needs to be careful when joking with guests. She made a joke to my wife and caught us off guard. Luckily we can take a joke but you really do need to be careful sometimes. Got to the room and it was really clean. Our only complaint was that I know when I called to book a room back in October that I requested the bigger room with a couch. We went back down to ask why we had a normal two bed queen room. We have five of us in our family. We were told no you have a regular room and then we asked can we get a bigger room. She said they are all booked. So not much we could really do about that. Luckily my daughter was able to stay in a friends room for the weekend. We loved that they had a nice hot breakfast. The pool are was very clean and the kids enjoyed it. The room refrigerator has a thermostat on the back of it. We had to turn it up when we arrived which you do in most hotels. Only problem with that is once it's filled if it is to cold you gotta try to get the fridge back out of the cabinet to turn it down. I would recommend this hotel to anybody going to the area but I would also tell them to make sure they get the correct room.

This hotel is near the interstate and surrounded by truck stops but not a lot else. The room was clean with ample space. The breakfast was standard for a hotel of this type and I was happy that they put it out early on a Saturday morning. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall there was nothing to get excited about, but it worked well for a quick stop.

We stayed here for my husband's homecoming at Beloit. The hotel was not in the group of hotels that we usually stay in & was therefore a bit further out. That said, it wasn't far, it's very quiet, the front desk employees were polite & helpful, the rooms were clean & we enjoyed our brief stay.

Stayed for business in Beloit. Hotel while not close to any restaurants, is very close to the interstate. Only 2.3 miles to downtown Beloit, so still very convenient to get to many of their great restaurants. Try Lucy's Burger Bar, high end burger restaurant with great food and staff. Staff at the hotel was very friendly, this is a clean and well maintained facility and that means a lot when I travel. I read Trip Advisor reports all of the time to make sure I get a good value for my $$ and wanted to make sure I shared this. You won't be disappointed.

We were there for racing purposes at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This place couldn't have fit our needs better!!!! Price, location, CLEAN, updated, amenities & friendly!!!!!!! We had four rooms & their were 8 of us & everyone was very happy with the place!!!! We will definitely be back next year!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while visiting our son at Beloit College. This was actually our 2nd choice. We usually stay at the Ironworks hotel in Beloit Wi, but they were booked. So going in I was already disappointed. That was quickly turned around. The lobby was very nice, the front desk staff were more than helpful and the room was seriously the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. You know how sometimes you get the heebie-jeebies when walking on hotel carpet or on the bathroom floor? Not the case in this hotel. I couldn't even find even a small amount of mold in or around the tub. No chipped tile anywhere. The room had a very clean smell to it. The linens even smelled like fresh bleached laundry. The bed was a bit firmer than mine which I liked. I slept like a baby. And I usually don't sleep good in hotels. The only draw back to this hotel was the continental breakfast. But I'm not a fan of continental breakfast anyway. So I went in without high expectations and that's exactly what it lived up to. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay in it again.

We stayed here for one night because we were attending a wedding at nearby DC Winery. It was the closest hotel we could find to the venue (about a 5-7 min. drive). We called that morning to see if we could check in early and were told that we could check in at 1:00 with no problems. We arrived right at 1:00 and were checked in quickly. The room was a basic room, but it was clean and had everything we needed, including a refrigerator and microwave. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and polite and even though we didn't eat there, the breakfast looked good. The only downside was that we could hear a lot from the neighboring rooms, including just basic talking. We were lucky that our neighbors weren't too noisy or stayed up too late because that would have become a problem. But overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

This hotel had all the amenities we were looking for: breakfast, internet, etc. It was clean and comfortable. It is fairly new, so everything is in great shape. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was a nice value for a hotel in this area. My wife and I would highly recommend this Best Western.

The Best Western in South Beliot, IL is a great facility. The staff and the faculty make sure your needs are taken care of by having friendly welcoming staff, a meticulous facility inside and out, And great breakfast selections. Even a personal note from the housekeeping staff to make sure you have what you need. They truly make you feel welcome and they are glad to have you stay with them.

You come off the highway and find this hotel tucked back next to a truckstop, yet very near many Beloit area sites, restaurants, locations. The interior and exterior is very clean, the staff are efficient and kind, the wifi is free, as is the morning breakfast and coffee. Everything is as it should be for a nice seamless hotel stay.I visited for a weekend as I was the photographer shooting for a nearby wedding. Great hotel. I would easily stay here again with my husband and kids or with friends on my way through or on a visit to the area. I recommend.

Walked in last minute & was able to provide a nice room with king size bed. Clean room with comfy bed! Also there was an indoor pool but too tired to use. Breakfast topped off the stay. Many items to choose from. Also felt safe with vehicle parked outside too.

Extremely clean!!! The staff is friendly. The property is very well maintained. Abbey ensures the rooms are immaculate. The location is convenient. It is refreshing to stay at a property where everyone cares!!! Well done!!!

We stayed here as a group on a weekend bus trip. I worked directly with the manager, Liz, to secure our rooms at a decent group rate. She was so easy to work with and did everything she could to accommodate our group. I appreciated her professional and friendly manner. When our group of almost 50 people arrived the hotel staff checked us in in a timely fashion. Some of our friends from the area brought us supper and the hotel staff allowed them to use the meeting room and breakfast area to feed us. Wow! That was above and beyond. Our rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of options. Yes, I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

I recently stayed one night at the Best Western in South Beloit, IL on a Friday night when in the area to visit a friend of mine who just moved to South Beloit a few weeks ago. This was just a quick overnight trip, but I had an excellent stay at this property! I knew my friend's apartment was on the small side and it might not be the most comfortable to try and spend the night there, so I decided to book a hotel instead. I was able to do a prepay option for my room for a slightly discounted rate, so I got a standard room with king bed for only $89, or about $105 after tax. I found that to be very reasonable for a Friday night stay! I was able to get out of work a few hours early on Friday, so I was to the hotel by 3:30 to check-in. The front desk worker was friendly and efficient, and I was checked in very quickly. Their records indicated that I prepaid for the room, so I just needed to present a credit card for any incidental charges that might apply. I had a standard room with king bed on the 2nd floor, and my room faced the back of the property, which made for a very quiet stay! I was also far down to one side of the 2nd floor, so I was away from the elevator and vending machine noise. This hotel is not too far from I-39/90, but it is far enough away that traffic noise does not seem to be an issue. I found my room to be quiet and peaceful, as well as very clean and comfortable! I was a bit tired after arriving following a busy week at work, and I knew I would not be able to meet up with my friend until 5:00 or so because she needed to work until 4:30, so I took a short nap after getting settled in. Again, the room was quiet and peaceful, and I woke up closer to 5:00 feeling refreshed! My friend and I went to dinner and spent some time together, but I returned to the hotel by about 8:30 in the evening. I did use the indoor pool and whirlpool for about 45 minutes during the 9:00 hour, and I got it to myself, which was nice! The hotel was full on the night I stayed, but I still managed to get to swim alone, and you would not have known they were booked with how quiet everything was. The pool was a bit on the cold side, but it wasn't bad if you kept moving. The whirlpool was relaxing and a perfect temperature--not too hot, not too cold! I enjoy when I find a hotel with a whirlpool along with a pool because hot tubs don't seem to be as common these days in hotels. I enjoyed my time in the indoor pool area. I found that there was a wide variety of cable TV channels to enjoy in the room, and this is always a treat for me when I stay in a hotel because I don't have cable at home! I went to sleep for the night by around Midnight, and I slept very soundly here! This was the best sleep I have gotten in a hotel for quite a while, and I woke up around 8:00 on Saturday morning feeling refreshed and ready to start my day! I enjoyed the free continental breakfast served near the lobby, and it was not real busy down there at 8:15 or so. I made a point of not eating a real huge breakfast here because I planned to meet back up with my friend by late-morning to go out for a late breakfast/early lunch, but I enjoyed the eggs and sausage links, as well as the biscuits and assorted muffins! The breakfast was continually being restocked while I was down. I did decide to use the indoor pool/whirlpool again for a short time in the morning after breakfast, and I once again got the area to myself! I got showered and dressed and ready to check-out afterwards, and I was departing by around 10:30 on Saturday morning. One minor inconvenience I had was that no one was at the front desk when I went to check-out. I tried ringing the bell and calling out "Hello", but it took over 5 minutes for someone to come out from the back. She said that she was working on some laundry, but she was very apologetic about the situation. I was asked how my stay was, and I was happy to say that everything was great from start to finish! My room was still recorded as prepaid, and I had no penalty charges or anything like that, so it was nice to have the room paid for at a cheaper rate before I even set foot in the place! I really enjoyed staying at the Best Western in South Beloit, and I would return and recommend. This location is convenient to all Beloit, WI and South Beloit, IL attractions and points of interest, and there were several unique places to eat nearby, as well as a Denny's right up the road. I had a wonderful overnight stay at Best Western!

For what they charge, they need to actually make the amenities available. Pool closes at 10pm, breakfast ends at 9am sharp. Food was gross. Reheated sausages and egg pucks. Food staff was rude. Room was fine, check-in staff was very friendly.

This is a family owned and/or operated hotel and it shows since they treat you like family guests. Very nice, fresh and spotless rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows, all you'd want for a night after a long ride. Quiet yet convenient to the interstate. The breakfast room is laid out very much nicer than most Best Western hotels with special touches and the freshest food. We won't be back that way for a few years, but look forward to visiting again.

This is a newer hotel and the place was very clean. The rooms had modern decorations and everything was satisfactory. The staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The hotel is located just off the interstate but was very quiet.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Milwaukee. We were traveling with a group of 6 and were on motorcycles. This hotel allowed us to park our bikes under the canopy so they did not get wet. it was a very nice hotel and the breakfast was nice. The rooms were very comfortable and roomy.

Best Westerns can be hit or miss. This one is very good, more like 4.5 stars. It is not far off the highway, felt safe enough, clean room, free parking, and a reasonable rate for the night. We didn't have time for the breakfast, but I suspect it is much like other Best Westerns. I would have no issues staying here again in the future.

Nice clean motel, pool for the kids, warm breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles etc.) in the morning, and very nice employees. I was particularly impressed with how they handled my piece of luggage I left in the room when I checked out. The cleaning crew immediately reported it to the front desk, who called to let me know before I had even left town. I was able to pick up the luggage with very little extra effort. Excellent service!

this hotel is a little older. Carpet is old and a little dirty. We stayed here a couple of years ago, and is was not like this then. Still a good place to stay. good Rest. in the area. The elevator got stuck one night Had to walk a ways to get to our room. I am Hcp. have a hard time walking. But we made it and they had it fixed by morning. They also gave us 15.00 off the room.

The Hotel was clean both interior and exterior. The staff very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and the beds very supportive. For me, the best part was the location of the hotel. I was well off the interstate and set back off a road that made it extremely quite.

As a retiree from the hospitality industry.. I am very critical (but also complimentary) of a property..an can tell very quickly how a property is managed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. This property is one of the "crispest" I have stayed in. It was a very enjoyable stay in every aspect. The room and public areas were spotless and well maintained... the internet connection was fast and consistent.. the staff friendly and accommodating (including my request for an early check-in due to a wedding)...and the breakfast very enjoyable. Very friendly staff, great room at a great price, Breakfast is very good, housekeeping very honest and friendly, they all speak English which you don't find everywhere. I would refer to my friends if they are in this area.

We were impressed by the lobby, very clean and tidy. The room was large and clean, The pool was a bit chilly for even indoor but nice. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday, was good but it was the same food both days.

Beds were not comfortable but overall the staff was friendly. They need to periodically vacuum along the edges of the rooms and hallways. I realize most vacuums don't get the edges very good but should monthly be done.

It is not a five star and I am not looking for one. The rooms are clean and neat, well furnished. The staff is friendly and helpful and the motel provides everything I need. Nice pool, good workout room and good internet. Free hot breakfast. What more could you want for a nice price.

The Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites is one of my favorite hotels. It's always clean and well-kept, it has all the amenities that matter to me - refrigerator, microwave, nice breakfast, very friendly staff. plenty of parking, and it's close to the attractions I an visiting. It's also very reasonably priced. I stay at this hotel several times per year.

On a road trip, found the Best Western in South Beloit. We needed a place that accepted pets which can be problematic. This hotel is spotless with an excellent hot breakfast included. The pet fee was $15 which is quite reasonable and there was a lot of space around the hotel to walk the hound. In addition to being very convenient along our route, the staff was very friendly and professional. We will absolutely stay here again.

Best Sleep Ever and the pool and hot tub were clean and fun. Breakfast was a large variety and hot food ! Front desk was very welcoming and warm and friendly and advised of a great Mexican restaurant to go for dinner.

We stayed overnight at this facility while in town for our granddaughter's graduation. The facility was clean, rooms and beds were comfortable. The hotel is a little ways off the freeway, so was very quiet--another plus! The breakfast was adequate with several hot options. The breakfast seating area is not large, so it was very busy since it was graduation weekend at Beloit College. On another weekend, that might not be an issue. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here a few years ago, the hotel is clean, comfortable. The staff is excellent in customer service. They allow pets which is what we need when we travel as we do have a pet. No complaints at all and we will be staying here again!

Four of us stayed and found the room clean and comfortable. It seemed to be a fair price for the area. We wanted something right off the freeway which it is. Breakfast was plentiful but bland. However it did its job to send us on our way. No complaints whatsoever. We would stay here again.

It was our first night stop after 20-hours flight - and we wake up fresh and ready for our long trip. The hotel was easy to locate even with time lag. Welcoming and efficient staff, clean room, stable wifi, good breakfast. And we got some good recommendations about nearby attractions - probably we'll use them some other time

the hotel staff were very professional and arranged the items i needed to have in order to complete my business while in the area. front desk staff were very professional. maid service was above par. location to area of business was excellent.

Clean, quiet, several pillow thicknesses already on the bed, so we could choose. Polite, nice people, felt safe. Blanket enclosed in fresh sheets. ALL GOOD! Easy location to freeway. Easy parking. Did not use pool.

When I visit family in the area, I prefer to stay at the Best Western here for my own privacy. The staff has gotten to know me. They are ver y accomdating...will help with early check in or late check out to the best of their ability. They know I come a long way and are very helpful.

After a long day on the road we decided to stop here rather than continuing on north to Janesville. It's off the road a bit, so it's quiet. The property is about 10 years old and was undergoing some updating, but we found our room clean and comfortable. We will stay here again, as we travel this way a couple times annually.

Received many bug bites here and no help from hotel staff after numerous attempts to come to a resolve after this unpleasant stay. The severity of the bites caused a reaction that lasted for weeks. Unfortunate visit.

I am very sorry for your experience! Per our numerous conversation regarding this, our Pest control company did go through the process of screening the room and they found no evidence of pests in the room. That said, since you had pets in the room, we did treat it per their recommendation. I wish there was something more I can do or say for you but as I told you, there is a good possibility you got those bites from being outside as well. Lastly, we have a very good process in place for bug control and we take every case very seriously. There is no doubt in my mind that our rooms are clean and bug free. Thanks for your time!

We love this facility - traveling with a HS wrestling team isn't easy. The boys get rested and the staff is always accommodating with whatever needs come up. There isn't much around directly but that's better for us. Keeps the teenagers from wanting to wander.

We are a family of 5, so we booked a room with 2 queen beds + a roll away bed since there were no suites available. We were assured the extra bed for an additional $25. Once we were settled into our room, we asked the service desk for our roll away, and we were told that they no longer offered them because they scratch up the walls. This is not what we were told over the phone, and had we known this, we would not have chosen this hotel to stay in. This ended up being a very frustrating & uncomfortable stay. Best Western has been one of our first choices when we travel because they have always accommodated our entire family (including our dog) at an affordable price. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time.

10 minutes from in Blackhawk Farms Raceway, comfy beds, warm rooms, secure hallway only access, relaxing pool and hot tub. Lots of race crews stay here rather than sleeping at track. Breakfast is fine. Basic powdered eggs, fight over the waffle machine, cereal, juice, coffee. Included in price of stay. Wifi access was decent. Gas station and a few fast restaurants across the street.

The staff is very friendly and helpful always. I have been here several times and always book here unless they are filled. The staff works hard to make sure I get the room that we desire on the first floor. Breakfast is nice with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. and the hours for it are convenient.

During our stay in South Beloit, we left for a wedding reception and at some point, someone entered our room, stole money and 2 different prescription pain medications. Now, quite frankly, I find this unacceptable, but even more so is upon notifying the desk staff, their answer was "sorry" and in order to file a police report it will require driving back to South Beloit on one or more occasions. This is just another slap in the face really. I would think twice about staying at this establishment, or if you do, clearly do not bring in or leave anything that has any value in your room.

This BW is perfect when attending a horse show at Ledges--it is the closest hotel (just 5 minutes away), very clean, accommodating, knowledgeable staff and they start serving a hearty breakfast at 6am! This is very important when u need to arrive at the show grounds by 6:30am in order to prepare your horse for the 8am start time ( and he's been rolling in manure all night).

Very quiet ! Very clean! Very comfortable beds. Very good selection on breakfast Hot and Delicious! Lobby also had an ATM and a swimming pool. Easy to access off of 90/94. Best Western is my first and only choice love the rewards program they have !

Checked in early with no issues, hotel was clean and staff was friendly. the only thing that would have made our stay better was the quality of breakfast items. Not really a fan of powdered eggs would have preferred hard boiled.

The staff was very nice but the bathroom was a bit off and the whole place had an odd smell to it. Also I payed far too much for the area and i feel like didn't get anything more that any other hotel had besides a hot tub.

Nice newer hotel with easy access to !-90. The room was clean, the staff were very nice and friendly. I felt safe even though it is close to a truck stop. The room was dark and quite at night. The pool water was way too cold to use.

OK facility, could use some updating of the rooms. Would help to have more handicapped parking spaces at different entrances. Was conveniently located. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast typical but appreciated.

Great place to stop for night before Dells weekend. Friendly staff and great hot breakfast! We couldn't check in to Dells until next day and decided to stop about 1 hour away so that we could rest and prepare for the next journey. This was a wonderful location to do that at. Will stay here again!

We requested a ground floor room, due to mobility issues and one was made available for us. It looks like a new hotel, well decorated and complete with the usual amenities - as in toiletries, free net access and a free breakfast ( offering hot items, as well as the usual breads, cereals and yogurt ). There is a nice hot tub and pool, as well as laundry facilities. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help in any way possible. Easily accessible to the Interstate, I'd recommend the hotel and I will return.

My GPS did not recognize the address of this hotel but when I called the front desk clerk was VERY helpful. Her directions were right on and I found the hotel within 5 minutes. This looks like a new hotel with all new furnishings. It was very comfortable and quite. The breakfast wasn't great but it wasn't bad either

Pleasant stay at this hotel. Clean room with great amenities. Breakfast was very good. Food was well stocked and fresh. Hotel staff was very friendly and super helpful. Did not use pool or fitness room but they both looked adequate and clean. Will stay here again

We scheduled a track day at Blackhawk Farms and received a special rate making this an amazing stay. Debbie at the desk provided excellent advice about local eateries. The breakfast is the typical good hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. I stick with Raisin Bran. The rooms are large and comfortable with very nice bathrooms.

We arrived after a 533-mile drive from Erie, PA, through the traffic of both Cleveland and Chicago, and were too tired to try the swimming pool! Our room, on the 2nd of 3 floors, was just the right distance from the elevator for my wife to walk with her hurt leg. Not having to climb stairs was a plus for us. The receptionist was very cordial and we followed her recommendation for a dining spot (Anna Maria's). Our receptionist also baked a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies for the early-arriving guests. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and had a good fridge in which to cool our water bottles and my wife's ice pack (no freezer compartment). The mattress of our shared Queen bed was of the best possible firmness, very important as we were able to get a very good night's sleep which we both desperately needed. The full breakfast the next morning come complete with a waffle maker, cold cereals, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, apples, juice and good coffee (essential to the traveler). The wait staff did a very good job keeping the individual tables clean and the buffet breakfast items stocked. We appreciated the individual syrup dispensers and salt-and-pepper shakers on the tables. We'd definitely stay here again..

After being on the road for more than 12 hours from Sturgis our group decided to stay here for the evening. This hotel is right off I90 across the street from the Road Ranger truck stop. Don't be put off by the area it's located in, this hotel is modern and clean. The only other hotel in the area is a seedy looking motel called the Tollway Inn and the Garden Hotel. The lobby is large and clean. It doesn't smell like cigarette smoke. I believe they serve continental breakfast, but right now it's 12 midnight. They accept military discount and AAA. The King size room we have is very comparable to the King room we had ,on our to Sturgis, in Worthington, MN in space and is much larger than the small King room we had in Rapid City, SD. Check out my pics. The room is very clean and plenty of room to move around. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have it a 4 because I couldn't figure out how to work the darn shower handle.

This hotel is well maintained, clean and nice amenities. Rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Traveling with 2 teenagers, we opted for the suite, which had a sofabed, which our teenager said was very comfortable. Breakfast started earlier than time scheduled, which worked out perfect for us, and everything was available then too. Staff is very personable and helpful. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we will stay here again, when in the area for our events next year. Conveniently located to gas stations and more restaurants were within a short driving distance.

We stayed here overnight with our dog during a cross country trip. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We were greeted warmly by staff and were given a list of restaurants and stores which was very helpful. The jacuzzi and pool were a nice plus. Breakfast was average. Convenient proximity to interstate.

This hotel not only had very clean and comfortable rooms, but the staff was amazing!! Centrally located to interstate and Beloit, WI. The breakfast was your typical "included" breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We spent two nights here for a mini getaway in the Rockford area. Room was big and very clean. Only cpmplaint is the AC is right next to the king sized bed and blows on you all night long. Appreciated blankets being enveloped between sheets but they need to replace the blankets as they appear to have been washed a million times. Clean but very worn. Great hot breakfast each day. Small pool but good for a relaxing dip. Far enough away from Rockford so there are not a lot of children who would want to be closer to the water park there.

It is located right off the highway, but back far enough that you do not have road noise. My room was clean and met all my needs. Only issue and it was a small one was air was not on in my room so it was real hot when I got there in the evening. Breakfast hit the spot, they actually had if ready to go before the 6:00 am time and offered it. I would stay again when looking for a place to stop for the night

It was really a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, good selection of choices. Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows were great! Really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would suggest is a sign at the road at location of hotel as is hard is see from the road.

Nice front desk and good sleep. Breakfast was the standard Best Western fare. We had a quiet night after ordering in so so chinese food but the sleep was restful and the room was very quiet. This hotel is fine for the weary traveler.

Within walking distance of a couple restaurants. Friendly staff and very clean. Hotel is like new. Breakfast was good. Kind of tucked away off the off ramp. Not much parking for truck or vehicles with trailers.

I stay here whenever I am in this area. The knowledge and helpfulness of the front desk is always above the norm. From printing to car breakdowns to finding a drug store, they always had an idea of how to help.

Very nice Hotel..great pool. Wonderful breakfast...loved the eggs. ..very fluffy! Very close to antique shops and DC . Winery . Excellent wines. Loved all their reds! Very close to Beloit WI and the town has a farmers market on Saturday mornings. Also a great quilt shop in Beloit!

We stayed here for a wedding this past weekend. Was easy to find right off the interstate. Exterior was very appealing when first arriving. Interior was also very clean and welcoming. Room was a very good value for the price. Very clean, nice looking room. We were overall very impressed and would recommend this hotel!

I don't know what happened with this place. It seemed like it would be ok. But the bed was not comfortable, the shower was not hot enough and the breakfast was nearly inedible. They (like nearly everyone with free breakfast) offer waffles. But there was something markedly wrong with these waffles. It was like they'd been made with vinegar. We had to dump them. Then we wanted to make the breakfast sandwiches they advertised, but there was no cheese. And the eggs were as old as the pleistocene era. Thankfully, the coffee was drinkable. We will be staying elsewhere if my son attends Beloit.

I would highly recommend the Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit. We have stayed there once a year since they opened and they have a wonderful staff who doesn't change who is always helpful and courteous. The rooms are nice, clean and the facilities are nice. Breakfast is good. Great rates as well.

I have had the pleasure to stay at the Legacy Inn Best Western in S. Beloit, Illinois for many years while tea eling. wtween Minnesota, Michigan, and Maine. I have traveled with my husband and our dogs, and alone with my dogs since his death. This hotel always feels safe, it is spotless in it's cleaniness,, the morning buffet always fresh. So as we all know businesses are only as good as the people that run them and this business starts with the Manager Liz. Liz must be a wonderful person to work for because it radiates through the people that work along side of her. The staff that works here is always on top of everything and always there to help with anything you might ask of them. While all the other elements make this a great hotel, it all begins and ends with LIZ AND HER STAFF, IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC AND BEHIND THE SCENES. This Best Western hotel we stayed in twice on our trip, both coming and going. Very clean, hotel appearance was nice and grounds well maintained. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with very fresh food... The staff was very friendly as well.

Checked in late and Debbie and Pat where there. They were so friendly and informative. I loved the personal one on one they each gave me. Answered all my questions and even gave us a menu for a great place that delivered till midnight. Since we checked in so late it was great. would stay here again :)

Stayed for a wedding in the area.... all the rooms were very clean and comfortable... NO BED BUGS! I always search before I unpack! :) Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area... everything in the motel was new , clean and refreshed! Good price! Check in was a little slow but very friendly!

A great hotel close to the freeway and you don't hear road noise. There was a wonderful hot tub which was a great way to end our day of travel. The hotel looks relatively new and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. I am tall so having a shower head high enough makes for a great start to the day. We missed breakfast but I'm sure it was good. I would stay here again.

Great location for Beloit College prospective and current families! We love the close location to the campus, the quality of the rooms and continental breakfast. We have not had one negative experience in the years we have been visiting. Great staff!

I was pretty impressed with this Best Western. When compared to other hotels I would have rated it average, but for a Best Western I thought if was very good. Fortunately it wasn't very busy - sound did seem to carry for the few people that were there. Upon checkout, I was asked one of the best questions ever... 'If I could change something about the hotel that would have improved my stay, what would that be?' All staff encounters were very good.

We were in town for a family funeral. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The entire hotel (our room & bathroom, breakfast area, pool) were all very clean! We enjoyed our stay very much. We would book again.

My husband and I had a room with a king size bed. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff at the front desk were friendly. We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub after our long drive. Nice pool too. Breakfast was simple...a good variety of continental items.

Convenient, just off I-90. We were visiting family in Roscoe, IL. Your basic no thrills Best Western, safe & clean. They had a good breakfast... Rooms small, but had the basics... We had a king bed, had a desk, desk chair, an easy chair with ottoman. Shower / tub was nice, single sink. Not much around them besides a truck stop.

We always stay here when on our way to Ohio. The reasons we always stay here is because of the friendliness and knowledge of the staff AND the excellent choice, quality and number of breakfast items offered at the no cost Buffet in the Morning. the rooms are always clean and the beds are great.

A friend recommended this hotel because it was close to his office and would decrease my travel time to get to him. Great choice. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property, especially the room we had. I would certainly use this facility again.

This property was very neat and clean. The staff was welcoming. Room was quiet and it was in the front of the building on the 2nd floor towards the end of hall. The only complaint was the blanket was like a sheet, and there was no comforter or spare blanket.

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was good and plentiful. My room was very clean and I appreciated the computer and printer available for printing boarding passes. I would have enjoyed the pool and hot tub if I wasn't so tired. Thanks for a great stay.

Rooms and hotel were great. Breakfast was good - included hot and cold items - eggs and sausage were made; make your own waffle station; juice, cereal, fresh fruit. Pool was small and water was cold. Hot tub was good.

While we were staying in the area for a sad occasion, we selected the perfect place to make our home base. Located off I-39, it is away from the interstate and nearly secluded. A relatively new motel, it is laid out for easy access and had all the amenities that we needed. The front desk personnel and our housekeeper were always helpful, cheerful, and ready to answer any questions were had. The breakfast was customary for the chain but nicely laid out with adequate seating and well attended by the staff. The room was on the top floor (which we requested) and very comfortable and quiet. We needed to arrive a day early and stay two extra days....neither of these issues was a problem and we are grateful for their hospitality.

Best Western's are known for being clean and friendly, but the Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit-South Beloit, South Beloit, ILLINOIS exceeds all expectations Roda and the staff were all Great. We totally did not expect scrambled eggs and sausages, both were very yummy, a great selection of breads, muffins and cereals, the Only thing missing was Gluten Free Breads and cereals. We rented the whirpool suite and all was very clean and nice looking.

Everything was better than expectations. Breakfast was nice, bed/pillows comfy and room very clean. Couldn't ask for more. And reasonably priced. Desk help was friendly and helpful, even the maid made one feel welcome. Perfect location for a talk I was attending in South Beloit. Location was optimal to restaurants in the area.

Being ill, and so far from home the staff took so good care of me. I was helped with my luggage, helped finding a drug store and a place to eat before I crawled into my nice warm bed for the night. I could not have asked for more.

Overall a very good place to stay. Clean, quiet, and easy to get in and out of. Very reasonably priced and the staff was very freindly and helpful. I will stay here again on future trips. The only low rating I would give would be the breakfast. It was good enough, but the eggs were slightly burnt and the gravy for the B&G was a different type than I was expecting. Overall the breakfast was satisfactory but nothing to rave about.

We have stayed at several area hotels for horse shows and this was one of our best experiences ever. It was clean, quiet, and very affordable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Staff very helpful. The rooms were large, tv's worked great. WiFI free and easy to use.

We came in from a snowy drive. We were tired and hungry and had two little ones with us. The Clerk suggested a local restaurant that delivered a delicious Italian meal which we ate in the hotel breakfast area. As we ate we watched the snow falling outside the wall of glass doors and windows. It was so cozy.

We love staying in this hotel, we found it using Tripadvisor. It is within in our budget and free breakfast too. We booked online thru mobile and we got the 10% discount. We called the hotel directly to compare prices and the staff was very helpful. It is easy to find too and a good spot to drive back to the highway.

Second time we have stayed at this hotel. We stay at Thanksgiving every year. By far the nicest staff, cleanest common areas and rooms, and a great FREE breakfast. Grandkids visit and use the pool and my spouse uses the gym. We can order or bring food in and feed the family in the breakfast area. How, coffee 24 hrs a day! You need a room while passing through or for an extended stay, as we did, I highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice place. Nice pool very quiet off the road hotel. Staff is very friendly. Very comfortable beds. Should have a place where smokers can merge to and smoke without being in front of building. We have used this hotel twice now for the family so handy to use close to where we need to be.

We stayed at this Best Western during a blizzard. We had to extend our stay. The front desk staff was most accommodating and the breakfast was very good!! The eggs were the best I have ever had at a hotel!!

We had a great time. the staff was wonderful and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good also the coffee was wonderful and we could get it all day long. The pool area was great the hot tub had real hard jets in it so I Loved it , I gott a real good massage ,very relaxing.

The check in clerk knows her job and is fast and efficient. The hotel is clean everywhere. The beds are comfortable with perfect pillows. Breakfast has hot eggs and sausage with delicious coffee. Lots of choices to eat.

We checked in last minute the night check was very nice and accommodating. We made this an unexpected stop due to the really heavy snow storm. Breakfast was ready at 5:30 a fantastic selection of food. Angela the morning clerk was absolutely the best she gave us a late check out and tried to find out road conditions for us. She deserves employee of the month. Thank you Angela!

I was passing through the area on my way back to Chicago from Madison. While it was rather late (close to 3am when I checked in), the whole experience was a boon. The woman at the front desk was particularly helpful and I found the rooms clean, the hotel quiet. Just what I needed.

Love the folks who work here along with the rooms. They have always taken care of me with a smile and professionalism. I stay here at least once a month for the past three years and the quality has remained a constant level od wonderful.

Nice, clean property. Great for a nice nights sleep. Did not have any problems with noise or excessive light. The pool area had a relaxing hot tub. The pool is small and is open to area residence, so may be crowded.

Best western was set back from the street a few blocks off I-90, I-39. We received a friendly greeting from a woman in a uniform polo shirt. The lobby was lighted and clean. Our room was at the end of the hall from the lobby. It was a large, well-appointed room with complimentary colors. The rug was clean. There was a hanger closet. Furnishings included a microwave, a refrigerator, dresser, TV, desk table with 2 chairs. The beds were soft. The temperature controls were easy. Breakfast was served 6:00 - 9:00 AM.

At first glance, construction on the highway and street might deter you and add that is located behind a truck stop and one might think this is not the place to stay. But on the contrary, very safe place located right off the freeway, comfortable king suites. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh juice, milk, cereal and pastries. Like home away from home.

Newish Best Western, similar to all the rest. Friendly desk staff. Quiet room, location far enough off freeway to avoid road noise. Standard breakfast set up with waffle stations, an egg dish and sausage. Cold cereal and fruit available with yogurt. Clean room. If you stay here must have dinner up the road at Anna Maria's Italian, font desk will aim you.

Good value, but needs more space for breakfast area. Either the walls are a little thin or the couple next door was particularly amorous, but it was pretty obvious the level of love in the world went up that one night. Twice in one session then a third time at 4:00 a.m. - bravo!

Clean place, friendly staff. Need better comforter or blankets for the bed (we were cold all night) and better coffee - weak coffee in breakfast area, and the machine in the room makes a poor cup of coffee with an oil slick on top. Otherwise it is an acceptable hotel to get a night's sleep.

We stayed at the hotel because the bride and groom reserved a block of rooms. We couldn't have been more pleased with the facility and the employees. The whole building was very clean and all the employees we encountered were polite, cheerful, and helpful. Other members of our group also enjoyed their stays.

This was our first stay at the South Beloit Best Western, which is off a highway exit close to our family. We were pleasantly surprised by the large, well appointed rooms. Service was excellent. Breakfast was usual hotel fare. Towels thin, but otherwise no complaints.

I've stayed at this location many times in the last 3 years and I've always been treated nicely. The hotel is well maintained, rooms are always clean and the hot breakfast is complimentary. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is outstanding all the way around! It is very clean, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. DEB was the desk person we dealt with the most. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The showers are great. It's quiet They do allow pets which helped us. We stayed here both coming and going on our trip and it was excellent. The laundry room was clean as were the machines easy access to use them. There is an indoor pool available to use We will stay here again on the next trip

The hotel was very clean and didn't have any issues in checking in or at. The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. I didn't use the Wi-Fi so don't know how the connection was. The breakfast foods were ok. Not a lot of selection to choose from.

I never stayed in Best Western before. I had room booked at Super 8 and I had never seen anything so pitiful, so I went on a search and someone suggested Best Western as it was also close to our venue. Liz (the manager) helped me to find the room and fortunately for me the one night I would have to move out had opened up for my continuous stay. The staff was absolutely fantastic and soo overwhelmingly warm and accommodating! Deb, Liz, Angela, I can't thank you enough for every extra step you took to make my stay memorable and very relaxing! I would absolutely book this hotel with my eyes closed if I ever travel in same proximity! From now on I will check Best Westerns in the area of my travel before looking else where and hope that others are just as good as yours!
