    « Late breakfast »

Breakfast is served at 7am and actually later than that and slow to get going. Was late because of this. Not the best part of town; rooms are old but serviceable. Two stars mostly due to disorganized personnel.

« Spend $15 more to stay in a decent placr »

Paid 55 USD for a double room. Grumpy old men in the reception. The "business center" printer had no toner, I asked for help, but they didn't even tried. Room carpet was stained, there was no safety chain / locks on the inside of the door. Over all a bad experience. The only positive thing was the food at the restaurant. It was surprisingly good at a fair price. I will never try to save a few bucks by staying in this place again.

« Good location, but some detractors... »

Good: Restaurant is Decent, Friendly Personnel, Good Central Location, Pharmacy, Banks, Gasoline, and Convenience Stores within easy Walking Distance, Ice Machine and Snack Machine. Bad: Very Poor Hot Water Pressure, Inconsistent Internet, Poor Router Signal, Hard/Flat Pillows, MIssing Light Bulbs, Very Small Elevator,

    « Old fashioned »

To be "best western" really disappointed me. General humidity and that 'kinda smoking' smell. Internet was not working fast with lots of downtime. Breakfast and restaurant absolutely low level. AC equipment too old for good use. I understand that when traveling Mexico you should somehow lower expectations, but this one overpassed imagination. I will not recommend for business.

    « Worst western »

I'm writing this review while half wet and with just a small, cheap and worn down towel around my hips. I'm waiting for water pressure to "come back" since 8:00am. Internet comes on and off, the elevator is small, air conditioning in rooms is either too strong or too weak to provide a decent room temperature, parking is small and the internet simply does not work most of the time. Definitely the worst hotel I've stayed in Monterrey so far.

    « Not in a great neighborhood... »

While the hotel was nice enough (nothing impressive, but it did have everything that a hotel needs), what bothered me the most was the neighborhood. Seriously, there was a gentleman's club on every corner! Granted I only stayed one night and only saw the neighborhood when I went out to eat, but it was a bit unsettling and made me think that my Lonely Planet guidebook is older than I thought!

    « changed our room »

We are a big family from Tampico, Tamps. Mexico. and we selected this hotel because we wanted to stay all together in the same room. The first day the receptionist gave us a big room with 2 double beds and a bed sofa, it also has a fridge, a micro and a small kitchen with all the stuff to make some food and eat. I t was very nice, but then they changed to 2 rooms without telling us in advance. When we arrived after a tired day of sightseeing they sent us to two different rooms. I think this wasn´t fair and very uncomfortable too. We complained but they said they had a previous booking for this day, but they didn´t tell us since the beginning. DON´T STAY IN THIS HOTEL if you are a big family. For the other things it is ok, the restaurant, they have internet, washing machine, etc.
