    « Great stay »

Overall great stay, great service. Rooms is as stated during check in. Customer service was top notch and breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were clean and hotel overall was a clean facility. Would recommend to everyone for an enjoyable stay.

    « Not the best »

Given a room on the top floor. Room was ok, comfortable bed. The room a/c unit was very noisy and there was a unit on the roof which buzzed all night and water that occasionally dripped through the ceiling onto the couch which had made a stain. Overnight an odour built up in the bathroom. Breakfast was just about ok. The hot tub in the pool area had mess in the bottom which may have been from the trees surrounding the area. Whilst convenient for getting around the area wasn't the best.

« Nice hotel with all the amenitites »

Very nice hotel with the exception of the A/C which sounded like a truck starting up when the condensor kicked on and the jets in the hot tub were not working. Besides those 2 things, the breakfast was good, pool was nice and the room was well stocked (shampoo AND conditioner) and clean.

« Great Hospitality and Service »

The hotel staff were attentive to my needs, and worked with me to get my needs taken care of. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choices. The only drawback was the comfort of the bed. I tried to get extra pillows for my wife, who needs to sleep propped up due to acid reflux, but they didn't have any extra pillows.

    « Convenient & Good Value »

This property is convenient to Hwy 60 & next door to a Native Grill. I've stayed at this BW several times when down in the Valley. The check-in always fast and the staff very pleasant. The room was clean. The breakfast was good; a variety from scrambled eggs & bacon (or sausage) to Belgian waffles to breads/pastries. The coffee got my day started just right. The beds are a little too soft for my liking. More attention could have been paid to sweeping the elevator floors & exits from the elevators as there was same trash/debris for two days. Overall, this property is a good value.

    « not super, but ok-ish »

there was a sticker and hair in the shower. the sink backed up when we brushed our teeth...seemed fixed in the morning though? found shoes under the could be improved upon for sure! The breakfast: I liked the sausage, the kids thought it was spicy. potatoes were blah. no waffles, though there were two makers on the counter...No bagels even though there was cream cheese put out to use (there was nothing to put it on? unless people put it on regular bread?). There were muffins, lots of muffins, a few toast choices, scrambled eggs. light yogurt only (I am not a fan of light yogurt/fake sugar) and a couple cereal choices as well. Overall, it was a little of a let down. But I was too tired to complain, this being the last leg of our trip. Staff was friendly though! Another bummer was outside, there was a bunch of smoking singles? at a local club? Once inside it wasn't an issue. So I would say, not super, but ok-ish. Wished it were better though.

    « Relaxing Stay »

This hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Would recommend. It's family friendly but still good for adults who are traveling without kids. Room was nice the only issue I had was with getting in to the internet. Was a little difficult.

« A Great place to stay in Mesa, AZ »

The hotel was overall a great place to stay! The Breakfast in the morning was however cold, and the person who managed the food didn't appear to care! If something ragout, then the food was not replaced. It was just left empty. The pool, and jacuzzi was nice and the staff was very friendly! We would stay at this hotel again when in Mesa.

    « Location Was Great »

The check in staff was great and helped me locate local business to get my work done. He had great skills in dealing with tiered grumpy road guys. The Breakfast hit the spot, The area was bright and clean. Free News Papers

« Great location, good hot breakfast »

Breakfast was nice, very crowded in the dining area. Pool was small but fine, not very many people used it while we were there. Outside tables were dirty and they were constantly out of pool towels. Room was fair clean, deep cleaning needs to be done (corners and baseboards of the bathroom were discussing). Otherwise, an average place

« overall very good stay »

Very happy with our stay at this BWPlus. Room comfortable. Quiet. Good Price. Fridge didn't feel cold, so they promptly replaced when called. Staff very attentive. Breakfast substantial. Pool area nice enough. Hotel clean overall appearance, and good location. Good Value for us.

    « Hotels never learn »

I have to confess that I am a rewards member. Overall I am satisfied with my stay at this property. Location was well placed for our purpose this time and the breakfast was plentiful and the staff friendly and helpful. But, when checked in we noticed that a towel was missing from the usual four provided. We found it hanging behind the door. Ugh. How much cleaning was done? Secondly, but too me very important, was the condition of the carpet. When the hallway carpet is cleaner than the room carpet we have a problem. But, did we complain? No. Would they shampoo the carpet during our stay? We will never know but hotels in general, don't get it. The floors should ALL be tile. Easily maintained and cleaned. But that is just us.

    « Great hotel & stay. »

Room was very clean, nice layout, excellent staff and the breakfast was terrific. The bed was extremely comfortable and hotel had a lovely pool area. Very pleasant stay and will stay in a Best Western hotel again soon.

    « Excellent Service »

The Best deal in town for the money. Friendly atmosphere and great rooms with comfy beds and plenty of pillows.. good TV's that work and the breakfast is HUGE... Choices of Waffles, Pancakes, Eggs, Yogurt, mixed nuts, and on and on.

« Great value and convenient »

This hotel is a great value. Very courteous front desk staff. Fantastic breakfast self serve but hearty. Added bonus right next store is a fun Sports bar and grill with filthy fried egg burger. It is Native's. It is close to two of my step daughters and son in law. We will be back!

    « Clean, Quiet & Friendly »

After reading some negative reviews, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the room. We found it to be very clean. It also smelled fresh. The AC was did not clunk or rattle during the night. We didn't try the breakfast as we had yearly physicals the next morning with fasting blood tests. Check-in was friendly and fast. We were on the back side of the hotel, so we didn't notice any noise even though we were very close to the freeway. Beds were a tad bit hard for us because we are used to memory foam. Good option for the price.

    « WOW! »

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the Best Western Plus! It was as nice as walking into a 5 Star hotel. Everything, from the employees to the lobby to our room, was fantastic. We didn't take advantage of the internet WiFi, room service, or Express Check-out, but was aware that it was being offered free. However, when we did check out, we were offered a "Take & Go" brown paper bag. When we opened our bags we found an apple, an orange, a granola bar, & a bottled water. How very kind to offer.

    « Different Hotel »

I always stay at Hampton Inns, but tried Best western. It was half the cost of a hotel stay at Hampton Inn. It was very good I would stay again and consider looking at Best westerns Hotels in the future.

    « Road trip stay »

Location just right for this trip. The real problem with staying at BW is the unsafe condition of the shower facilities. Soap trays falling off wall and slippery bottom, non -slip surface "NOT". Breakfast great as usual. close to areas we were going to visit.

    « Worth your money. »

I picked this one due to the location. I stayed there only 1 night for business trip. Very safe and quite area. A lot of free parking. I checked in late and the staff gave me a room as I requested online. The room is clean, no odor smell and both queen size beds was pretty comfort. Small issue: The water in shower was too hot, we had to take a shower by using the bucket with some ice to make the water cooler. I saw the swimming pool is very clean but I did not use it. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast is very good & more than enough. I like this hotel very much.

« Seriously moldy bathroom; flickering ceiling light fixture that could not be shut off »

Only one person on duty when I arrived late, so I had to move myself and all my heavy luggage to a new room after discovering the mold. After unpacking again in the 2nd room and trying to turn out the lights to sleep, discovered that the ceiling light fixture flickered on & off every 3 seconds. Too tired to move all my stuff again. When I asked for concession in the morning, Manager refused to do anything because I bought my ticket through Expedia.

« good hotel good price »

Staff was great. Food was not bad. I found 2 crickets in the bathroom. AC was not working but it did the job and i did report it. Im used to having my AC at home at 72 degrees all the time. Hotel & room was very clean. There is a bar and grill next door and i didnt hear any noise. Bed was a bit hard but my husband slept like a baby. To each his own :) Will definitely stay here again.

    « Leisure »

Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, LOVED THE VERY COMFORTABLE KINGSIZED BED. PERFECT room size with a couch Used the Executive desk chair a lot and liked the tall TV cabinet with the microwave in it. No neck straining! Mirrored closet door appreciated. Entire room and bath was CONVIENTELY ARRANGED AND SUPPLIED.

« I have to stay at this hotel a lot sometimes to visit my daughter even though I'm not always satisfied with my visit. »

Today the Linens have not been changed from the previous occupant. They were full of hair and blood and dirt and disgusting. When I called you and asked for the sheets to be able to be changed I was told that maintenance could bring me up a new set. I did not even get an apology or anything. Maintenance brought up my sheets crumpled up in a ball and I had to remake the bed myself. The bathroom doesn't really look any cleaner. The floor has been swept there was shavings from where someone has sharpened their makeup. But at least the room is cool tonight most of the time when I say it is so hot I can't sleep and fans are only available for the staff at least that is what I am told when I called the front desk.

    « What a rat hole! »

We spent last night at the Mesa Best Western. I will not stay here again. Check in took rather long for no one else in line but me. Painfully slow. I would rather stay in a filthy truckstop or even the janitorial closet. Either of which are much cleaner than this place. The bed had hard crusties in between the sheets. I thought it best to change to the other bed. It too had hard crusties. They looked like dried rice. Maybe maggots. I dunno. The iron kept spitting out hard crusties onto my shirt that I was trying to get ready for the next day. There was hair in the bed sheets; the tub; the bathroom vanity. The soap dish on the bathroom vanity was filled with old soap. It did not look like it was even tried to wipe out. The soap dish in the shower was the same. Not all of the towels looked as tho they were questionable. None were obviously soiled, but with the poor folding - it caused me to wonder if they had been washed or not. There were stains on the vinyl desk chair that looked like they had been there awhile. Had I eaten of the complementary breakfast, who knows what kind of hazards would await me in the doctors office. With such filth in the room - I can only imagine what the "kitchen" would have looked like. Both of us were scared to eat in the place. Fortunately, we were wise not to, and we could complete our day of work. Without a sick call half way through. The only redeeming characteristic of this hotel was that it was quiet. Fortunately, most of the drug deals that go on here are peaceful, so gun shots in this part of the old west are rare. I am perplexed as to why my company did not put us up at the Hilton that we usually stay at just 3 miles west of this property. It is a decent hotel.

    « awesome »

very nice place to stay, would stay there again! The breakfast was very good, pool area as well was clean and well kept. Front desk very pleasant to deal with, it smelled so good as you walk in the lobby!

« A place to come back to »

We received great service, the staff was friendly and the hotel is located right off the freeway and close to anything you could need. The outside as well as the inside is well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fitness room and the breakfast. If we return to Arizona we will be sure to stay at this Best Western...very good prices!

« Great night sleep in Mesa AZ! »

First and only choice on this trip was Best Western Plus. Wonderful hotel with very friendly, polite and professional staff. Room was very nice and extremely comfortable. Very clean...(although the bath tub did drain a little slow....not a big deal!) I have to come back into the area in a couple of weeks. Will be making my res'v here! Thought the rate was very reasonable!

« Excellen place to stay »

The stay here was very pleasant. Wonderful staff who understand the meaning of customer service. Any request and/or issue was immediately addressed. The morning buffet I is small, but satisfying, and was a bit different each morning we were there, so the variety was appreciated. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

« You get what you pay for »

First of all, I don't usually do reviews. But we were so unhappy with this hotel I felt I needed to say something. This hotel was available for such a low price but sometimes you get what you pay for. We decided to stay at this hotel due to the low cost and it had fairly good reviews. Upon arrival to our room, we were greeted with a very stale smell. There was a hole in the bathroom wall, blood on the side of the toilet and hair in the bathtub. The A/C unit was extremely loud and when it turned off it made a large banging sound. The off ramp was right outside our room and you could hear cars all night long. We asked to move to a new room the next night and we were given a new room without question. However, when we went to the new room, the door was open and things were half way made up. The A/C was covered in dust/mud/dirt.

    « Arizona Trip »

Great hotel. Very friendly and nice staff. Room was clean and decent. Comfortable bed. Great prices, affordable. Close to many attractions visited, as well as family & friends. Unable to try food and pool. But overall great experience!

« Not up to standard »

Although not very expensive, I would not recommend this hotel The rooms were dirty, the carpet was so dirty anmd stained that you needed to keep your shoes on. The furniture was all scratched and had panels missing. For a Best western plus itr certainly didnt deserve that ranking. It definitely needs to be renovated.

    « Best Western »

Great experience. All the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I will stay here again and recomend this place to all my friends and contacts. The pool was outstanding and the complimentery breakfast was perfect for a short get away. Christy the manager personnaly approached me and made sure that my visit was going well. I have stayed at 5 star resorts and have not received that kind of customer service.

    « Worst Hotel Ever »

The customer service here is awful. I booked on their website but discovered the nightly rate was less at check in than when I booked online. The hotel clerk would not honor the lower rate. We requested a rollaway and she said no problem. When we got back from dinner she yelled at me as we were getting on the elevator that we could not have the rollaway after all because we had two queen beds. She offered no other assistance. We proceeded to our room and upon getting into bed we found a Qtip in the bed. Absolutely disgusting! I will never stay here again.

« Mesa - Great Hotel to Stay at »

As a business traveler I look for the basics and this hotel has it. Clean, comfy bed and pillows. Room was clean. People professional and most helpful. The room I stayed in had its own AC unit and it was pretty quiet. Breakfast - was yummy. Good stuff - Eggs, Bacon, Waffles, Juice, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal and much more. I would stay again and recommend.

    « mesa review »

Room was not clean. Pills were found on the floor. Air Conditioned was noisy and insufficient. Maintenance was no help when called. Breakfast area was no cleaned as the morning progressed. Trash cans were over flowing and open.

« Convenient and reasonably priced. »

Stayed here for nights, picked the hotel based on the fact is was the closest to an event I was attending. The ground floor room I stayed in was clean and spacious. Easy to get to off the hwy. I liked that there was free coffee in the lobby.

    « Convenient, cozy hotel »

Great value for your money. Felt like staying at a 4-star hotel. Bed comfort is high quality. Staff were very friendly and professional. Hot breakfast was a treat, especially with price paid for hotel room.

« Worst Customer Service EVER! I had to walk in SEWAGE! »

On the night of July 6, I stayed at the Best Western Plus Mesa. I booked the facility on Hotwire based on the positive reviews. Despite the high reviews, I was very, very disappointed in my stay. When I arrived at 2am after a long day of traveling. The check in process took longer than it should have. The woman booked me on the fourth floor then told me she needed to change it. In the morning, as I was getting ready in the morning, the toilet began overflowing. I called the front desk at 11am and no one answered. I called back at 11:05am, and no one answered. I called one more time around 11:10am. So, I called 1-800-WESTERN. The representative I spoke with finally got a hold of someone. By this time the entry way to the room was flooding, so I ran into the bathroom and shut off the valve. Around 11:40am, a maintenance person came to the room without any tools. He said he would have to go find his tools. I asked him how long it would take to resolve this issue, because I had a meeting at 1pm. He shrugged and told me to "just shower in [the sewage flooded] bathroom." I thought he was joking, but he was not. He left. By this time, I really didn't have any options, so I laid down all the towels and took a quick shower. The manager, Danielle, finally called the room at noon. She said she would call me back, but she never did. I got ready and went down stairs to check out. As I was talking with Danielle, the maintenance man walked by, and once he saw me he turned around. I was shocked when I was only offered 500 Best Western points for my extreme inconvenience. I am not a Best Western member, so what good is 500 points going to do?

« Impressive stay! Great value »

I stayed here for four nights on business and was spellbound by how splendid the whole experience was. The pricing compared to other hotels in Mesa was quite reasonable. All of my questions on shopping, dining and Arizona life were answered to the best of their abilities by the staff. You could tell they cared about accommodating my curiosity. The pool is fine and the rooms are pretty sweet. The beds were super comfy! I slept like a king and felt refreshed each day. There's nothing worse then a poor, uncomfortable bed to throw off the day. This place is definitely worth staying at for multiple nights.

    « Visiting Family »

Our experience overall was very good. Great breakfast and staff. We stay mostly in Comfort Inn's but this was very nice motel. It was conveniently located about a mile from dozens of restuarants, Walmart, and a major freeway for easy access for travel.

    « A real disappointment »

Husband and I stopped with Grandkids for the night. Were not informed that the pool was out of order. Offered the use of another pool a few miles away. When we arrived it was a dirty little pool about half the size of our room. Nasty, hot, green. ??

    « Pool not done »

On there website it claimed pool was ready but when I got to the motel it wasn't going to be done for another 3 to 4 weeks. When you are staying with kids that won't work! However, they were accommodating in canceling the rest of our stay even. We did stay one night due to our late arrival. The bed were comfortable and room was clean.

    « nice hotel »

a little disappointed in that the website, when i reserved a room, stated the pool would be open june 1. we stayed june 2 and 3, and the pool was not open. front desk staff said their website stated the pool would not open till june 15. hmmm. i could be mistaken, but...

« Great place to stay »

Very nice hotel with courteous staff. Very clean and well kept. We have stayed here several times before and have always been happy with our experience. The only only negative would be that the location is a tough traffic area. but you can easily solve that by always turning right out of the parking lot.

    « AC problems »

My AC unit broke at home and I needed a convenient place to stay. Good thing this hotel is right off the US60. The staff was great and made things convenient. The even had my room keys ready for check in when I walked in. The problem was when I got to my room the AC didn't work and I was with a pregnant woman. Eventually I got a room with an AC but that AC was loud and ran on a system that shut off and then on in 30 seconds, and every time it turned on it was loud. Other than that I got what I paid for and the Staff at the hotel were courteous.

    « Hotel being renovated »

We had gotten 2 rooms, one for me and my hubby and one for my daughter and her family of 4, one a 5-month-old. The staff was happy to change our rooms once we had seen which would be a better choice for them. They were kind and friendly. When I was looking for water bottles to buy, they were kind to give me 4. We were a little disappointed that the pool was being renovated, especially during the terrible heat wave, but we were allowed to go to a nearby hotel to swim in their pool at no charge. The location of the hotel is good, very close to the highway and a Native Grill is RIGHT next door. Very convenient for a late arrival with hungry family. The bed was ok. I didn't think the bed was extremely comfortable but the room was clean and so were the sheets. The air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was good, the usual breads, cereals and fruit with waffles, eggs and sausage or bacon. It was a decent place for the value and when the pool is done, it will be great.

    « Good hotel »

The pool was not available. It was being repaired. The carpet in the hall around the elevators was being replaced. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was excellent! We would come back again in the future.

    « Wait »

This holet is being remodeled I would suggest you wait to stay here until it is finnish. The pool is being redone, and if you want to swim you have to go down the street. What a pain. Also the rooms were not very clean..

    « stay at motel »

excellent stay; all in all, very good; would've been nicer if it wasn't booked up with a graduation weekend, but can understand. All in all. a nice place to stay. Close to a good restaurant and surrounding area.

« Excellent value for the price, with Great Service »

Room and bed was very comfortable, cleaned everyday. Excellent service, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, everything was very good. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

    « Not as Advertised »

The pool was closed for 6 weeks which was not disclosed to me at time of booking. I was told i could drive 4 miles up the road to use the pool at the Fairfield for free but i did not have a rental car so that was not an option. I was awoken at 5 am by a barking dog in the room next to mine. Of the 3 nights I stayed my room was only cleaned 1. At 9pm I stopped at the business counter to check in for my flight and print boarding pass. 2 kids were playing extremely loud video games on 2 computers and the other computer did not work. They had pop cans and wrappers all over the desk. I finally had to go to the front desk and ask for assistance. The clerk came out and that is when i realized the kids belonged to her. She made one of them get off a computer so I could use it. The printer was out of ink so I was told it would print at the office and I could pick it up at the front desk.

    « okay »

Breakfast was wonderful. Bed were comfy. Only thing that was disappointment was that the pool was under construction and bathroom need to be deep clean around toilet area. Other than that the area was good. Excellent service.

« Good Hotel but stayed when there was construction »

This was a good hotel for anyone looking for a cheap room in Mesa. There are lots of rooms so it is a great place to stay. It is close to a ton of great shopping and restaurants. The rooms were always clean and very nice. The pool area was under construction while we were there and we got woke up to a jack hammer going off every morning at 8 a.m., which was a little annoying that they started so early. The breakfast was really good and they had hot and cold options so it was nice to have variety aside from the normal continental breakfasts other hotels generally offer.

    « no »

very comfortable facilities, the decorations throughout the hotel was comfortable and relaxing. The staff was friendly and courteous . We were able to extend our stay without having to change rooms. We would stay there again.

« Clean Room ,Friendly Staff »

Lower floor room, good room service, Denny's Restaurant and McDFonalds Across Lot. Large Shopping Centre at this location, with many major stores, Like Macy's, Penny's. Location close to freeway , golf coarse ,Costco.,near by.

    « Best Western - Mesa AZ »

I was part of a large group where the members stayed on multiple floors. All the rooms had a smell of sewer gas. Management was not able to determine the source of the smell. The hotel was going thru renovations. They started laying new carpet. The carpet installers left tack strips exposed which could be dangerous of some stepped them. The continental breakfast was the standard breakfast at many other hotel chains.

    « Great hotel. »

This hotel was great. The staff was helpful. Our room was on the first floor. It was a nice size room. Breakfast was good. It had a nice variety of food including eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal with many toppings. We would stay there again.

« Fine Hotel for the money »

We stay in Mesa to visit family. We are not in our hotel very much. This time it was just me and my husband. We only had the breakfast once as we were eating with family the other 2 mornings. The breakfast was normal fare with waffles, sausage with biscuits and gravy, bagels, toast, muffins, cereals, scrambled eggs, with many juices and coffee/tea selections. I noticed another morning as we had gone past breakfast that there was bacon that day so it looks like they may change it up which is nice if you are having breakfast there multiple days in a row. The room was clean and neat. The air worked great, the room had darkening drapes which did a fine job. The room was very comfortable with an iron and hair dryer. Fridge, no micro which would be handy for a family. We had run out of tissue for our room the first day and caught the maid service in the hall, she was very kind and gave us more tissue and asked if we could use anything else, very pleasant lady, chatted for a few and welcomed us to Mesa. It is these very small acts that win me over it tells me she is happy where she works and being pleasant to others comes easy. we did notice a small workout room which was in use everyday, not able to use this visit. We watched a little tv and they had wifi which I only used for hangouts and checking on flight, i found response fine for what it was FREE. You do have to log in everytime you return to hotel. Check-out literally took 10 seconds and I recv recpt on email. Proximity to 60 is great and I did not hear any undue highway nosie, no trouble sleeping, I will be staying here everytime I visit family here. Thank you for a pleasant stay at a very reasonable price.

    « Good Value »

We recently spent three nights at the Best Western Plus in Mesa and found the property to be a great value and a good option for those looking for a clean, comfortable, no frills stay. We were in town for Bikefest and noticed when we arrived that the hotel shares a parking lot with a strip mall and restaurant. We were concerned about parking our bikes and asked the desk for parking suggestions. To our surprise, they told us we could park under the canopy on the far north side of the driveway! We were thrilled to be able to have our bikes in line of site to the front desk and out of the weather. Very hospitable! Our room was on the second floor, facing the freeway with a view of the pool. We were concerned about freeway noise but the large berm seemed to keep it at bay. Not sure if a higher floor would have the same sound insulation. The room had a few notable cosmetic issues; a couple of ugly stains on the carpet, a badly torn curtain, and a missing light bulb, but was otherwise it was clean and comfortable. We weren't planning to spend much time there and were not put off by the shortcomings. I know it's relative, but we found the bed very comfy and even liked the pillows, which rarely happens in a hotel. The room had all the standard amenities; fridge, micro, desk, etc. The water saver shower left a bit to be desired but wasn't the worst I've ever used. The bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled and everything worked as designed. We didn't try the breakfast that was offered, choosing to go elsewhere because the lobby was a bit of a madhouse each morning and evening. There was a little league baseball tournament and a cheerleading/dance competition in town the weekend we were there and the staff couldn't put food out fast enough in the morning to keep up with the demand. Evenings found the lobby area packed with the same young crowd and their chaperones consuming take out food or pizza. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We stopped by several times to purchase bottled water or ask questions and were always greeted quickly and with a smile. If we are back in the area, I would definitely stay here again. It's easy access to get in from the freeway. Leaving the property was a bit harder as there is no traffic light and a left turn out of the parking lot was a bit of a challenge at times.

« Staff at reception terribly bad »

As a very frequent visitor of hotels (150 nights a year) I do know what good hotels are like. During outpr 2 week holiday in the US, we visited 10 hotels. This was the worst I have ever stayed in! The worst experience I have ever had. Reception staff is unfriendly. Did'nt even greet us when entering the hotel to checkin. Yes we were a bit early to checkin (13:30), but without saying anything else she told us: check in is at 15:00. When we came back at 15:00, some employee checked us in, assisted by the supervisor. The supervisor didn't say a word to us. Made no contact to us guests. In the conversation they had with eachother, we could figur out that they were short on cleaning staff. That that was the reason to send us out again when trying checking in. Without telling me anything, they charged the stay to my creditcard. I had already paid via Priceline. I am now in the middle of resolving this. I have to wait some days, to spend my own money again. The supervisor has lost track of customer service. If this is the service I can expect in any other BW Plus, I will never book it again. (During our vacation, we slept in 2 other BW hotels. They were just great. Just managment of this particular hotel is crap). We can not understand this behaviour is tolerated. Room was not clean. A lot of dust on many surfaces. Toilet had strange red/brown stains on it. You need to sleep under a oldfashion blanket. Area is very busy. To enter or leave the premises, you need to get through a lot of traffic. Not even talking about the loud traffic noise of the freeway, just in the backgarden. This is hotel is not worth the addition of "Plus" in any way. I do not understand the good grades in other websites. Not worth spending your money on. Even lower star accomodations were far better than this hotel.

« Not the best place to stay »

The hotel was under a remodel, and dirty. We stayed 4 days and the hallways were only vacuumed once, and I don't think our room was ever vacuumed or swept. While we were there, they had a commercial shoot. During the shoot we were restricted from access to the lobby to leave or enter the hotel. Normally not a problem, but it was the only exit without an alarm on it. This made it very hard to get in or out of the hotel. It would have been nice to know this was going on when I booked the room.

    « Not coming back...... »

Dirty room, not enough rooms to stay 3 nights without having to change rooms after one night, odor in the middle of the night and had to change rooms again, quoted wrong price per night at start and had to see supervisor to get the right price. The staff did the best they could, but I will not go back.

« Great place to stay »

We had a great visit here! The facility is clean, beds comfortable and quiet location. They do have a pool. The facility is under some renovations but don't let that deter you. Jill made our stay even better, thank you!

    « Remodel is a problem »

They were undergoing a remodel while we were there. The floors in the hall had considerable debris. The room had an odor. The shower curtain was coming off the wall. I could not access the internet. Thankfully we were only there for one night.

« excellent facility and service »

We like the location, quietness, helpfulness of employees breakfast waffles and variety, and all of the facility. The employees at front desk were extremely helpful when we needed information or directions. We also thought we lost a bag and the young lady at front desk was very concerned and helped us look. We did find it in our car. The ladies that prepared and served breakfast did an excellent job in every area. We stayed 5 days and they had a good variety of items.

« weekend stay in April »

Room was fine, reasonable price. However, they were laying new carpet, but had left the hallway messy over the weekend. They had NO extra pillows in the entire hotel. No Bible in the room :-( Friendly staff, great breakfast.

    « Quiet, Comfortable, Relaxing »

Our room was on the 4th floor at the end of the hall. The room and bathroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable and setting the room temperature was easy. A couch and coffee table, as well as desk was provided which gave it a homey feel. The motel is right off the interstate, but we could not hear any road noises. Centrally located elevators provided easy access to the upper floors. We stayed here 3 nights with no issues. The Continental Breakfast provided lots of hot and cold choices and tasted yummy. We would definitely stay here again!

« Best bet on budget »

I knew I would be in the area for a popular event a couple of months beforehand and got a screaming deal on the AMEX platinum website. Big pros are super comfy beds, nice complimentary breakfast, and location right off the highway but in a very quiet center. A few blocks down the road are Trader Joes and a variety of quick restaurants. The beds are surprisingly very soft and comfortable, comparable to the home wood suites I usually stay at for quick business trips. This hotel is located just about 5 miles from the skyline aquatic center in Mesa and a hub of nightlife activity. I highly recommend this hotel for price, comfort, and cleanliness.

    « One night stay »

We have enjoyed Best Western, but this one was horrible where staff is concerned. They really don't care about you. We booked online and when we got there they said they didn't have our reservation, we showed the confirmation and the woman said we didn't book through their site. The BW app was used and she told us we were wrong that we used a third party site like she did honor the price we booked which is good. Other than the staff issue the place is clean and breakfast is hot.

« Great price for a comfortable stay »

Large, comfortable bed with nice sheets. Very clean. Bathroom was spacious with all amenities (shampoo, conditioner, stop, hair dryer, lotion) breakfast was the 'standard BEst western' : eggs, sausage, assortment of bread, juices, cereal, waffles. Dishes were kept replenished , dining area was clean. Close to the freeway, so easy to get to. I stayed on the non-freeway side so can't comment on if there was traffic noise.

    « Great »

You never know what you are getting when you book online but our stay here was excellent. From the helpful staff to our room all was great. Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choices. We were allowed to park our Harley under the canopy at the front entrance as it was raining.

« Beware. Would Not Recommend »

Would not recommend, We always book at Best Western, but this hotel was so bad we question if we should continue booking with Best Western . My husband has a disability, and we requested a first floor room. I guess this hotel does not abide by ADA regulations, because when I told her we requested a first floor room, due to his disability, the front clerk shrugged her shoulders and said we have elevators. The room we had was near route 60, and all I heard all night were motorcycles screeching up the highway. The room cleaners every day, had their carts side by side, in the narrow hallways, and you could rarely walk to the room at 4pm. All they did was giggle and chit chat in the hall. A day after we left we realized we had left two things in the room and requested they be mailed. I called and requested the manager, and the female front clerk wanted to know exactly why. When I explained, she said she would have the room cleaner manager call me. It has now been 6 days, and we have heard nothing from the hotel.

    « Convenient location »

We expected road noise but had none! The staff was courteous and helpful. The air conditioner worked very well. Breakfast was tasty; but you might want to brew your coffee in your room... The coffee in the breakfast area had a 'been sitting in the pot overnight' taste.

« Best Western is close to about anything around including spring training games. »

The location is very good especially for exploring the area and spring training games. The morning breakfast is excellent with many choices and good morning hours. The house cleaning was way below what we have ever had. It was Easter weekend and we were told they had some people sick, but three days of going down to the desk to get towels was totally not right. We also asked to have some coffee for our coffee pot in the room and they brought some coffee, but no cups to use with it. We would possible use Best Western again, but will also explore some other hotels around the area.

« close to paradise on earth »

can't sing loud enough the praises for best western plus. the staff was very helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. our room was clean and cozy. breakfast each day was excellent. we spent as much time as possible at the outside pool and hot tub, there were always plenty towels, and pool is heated. I highly recommend staying here and we were there for 7 days all was super, will definetly return.

    « Very Nice Stay »

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed the stay. The pool was great and the view from our room was nice. The only advise that I gave them on my other review was to make sure everything is vacuumed, we found a couple cheerios and peanuts on the floor, but other than that the room was very clean and desirable. The breakfast was good, except no fruit, which hopefully they get some sometime :). But all the workers we dealt with were great and we really enjoyed the stay. The sound proofing of the rooms seemed to be good, my brother was in the room next to us and I couldn't hear his kids and he said he couldn't hear mine.

    « FIRE!!! »

False alarm for fire at 1AM - then light in room hallway blinked off and on the rest of the night. No announcement of false alarm, just had to go to front desk and ask and then relay to people standing in hallway. Alarm went on for 2-3 beeps and then off for a minute then back on for 2-3 beeps and then off - TV remote volume didn't work - Water didn't drain in tub while taking shower.

    « nice and quiet »

I stayed at this hotel on business one Sunday night. It is very quiet and clean. the pool area looked pleasant. There is very little to eat or drink within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel did charge an extra $20.00 on to my credit card and then took it off a day later. Not sure what that's all about. I will stay here again when I visit Mesa

    « A Pleasant Overnight Stay »

My daughter and I needed a place to stay for one night after putting my grandson on an airplane at Gateway Airport. I am a Best Western Points member so naturally I first checked out Best Western hotels; then I looked at other hotels in the area. I decided on this location due to price and location. We both were very pleased with our stay.

« Best Western PLUS Mesa »

Hotel was conveniently located, clean and one of the nicer Best Western hotels I've stayed. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable and they were able to move us to a king room upon check in.

    « Good stay »

This hotel is located just off the 60 and was therefore ideal for getting around the Phoenix area. We were initially surprised that it was actually situated in an open mall but there was always plenty parking spaces. Our room was a good size, with a fridge and microwave. Linens and towels were clean and fresh but we felt that the carpet area required more regular shampooing. The pool and hot tub were nice although we felt that more sun beds could have been provided. Reception area was spacious and led to the breakfast area which was quite small for the size of the hotel and was very busy every morning, in spite of there being an overflow room. The tightness of the area was compounded by the fact that the business centre was located up the side of the dining area. The staff did work exceptionally hard at restocking food and cleaning tables and their work made the situation bearable each morning. In the five days we stayed here, the hotel was extremely busy and is clearly popular. Good value for money.

    « Decent Place »

Clean rooms, outdoor area and lobby. The front desk staff could be more friendly and accommodating. We needed several things but they didn't bother to try to find a solution. Just more or less shrugged their shoulders. The breakfast was good but the area to eat in was VERY SMALL and over crowded. Probably would not stay there again.

« Nice place to get a good night's sleep »

This Best Western has a gracious and friendly staff that works hard to accommodate their guests needs. After a 7 hour drive, we needed a place to change clothes to go to a memorial service and we were given an early check-in. It was very much appreciated. Our room was clean and comfortable. I can't be positive, but I think the front side rooms might be the quieter side. It is the side we were on. We were even by the elevators, and we were never disturbed by noise. The other side of the building is by Highway 60. I went to the pool area, which is very inviting and filled with happy children. The highway sounds were quite prominent and I wondered if they could be heard from the rooms on that side of the building. I don't know, but if it is important to you, you might ask for a room on the front side. They do have a breakfast buffet. It is the buffet frequently found in hotels in this price level... maybe a bit better than some because they have a frig with hardboiled eggs and yogurt. The offered whole fruit rather than cut fruit. The biggest problem for them is the size of the breakfast area. When the hotel is full it cannot accommodate the diners. They are aware of this and offer overflow space in one of their conference rooms. If you are a breakfast person, or claustrophobic in crowded places, know there is a great breakfast restaurant down the road a couple blocks down Gilbert on Southern called the Broken Yolk. Free is good, but so is sanity.

« Decent Place IF you don't mind... »

The room was fine. If only house keeping had cleaned the floors and left towels in the room. The WiFi Internet service, which they promote, was terrible! Repeated sign-ins throughout the day were required. The service was slow! If only hotel network admins would learn how to limit each user to a reasonable download bandwidth so a few people downloading videos don't crush the use of all users in the hotel. The Front Desk staff actually tried to change the price of the room as we were checking out. Really?!? I've never experienced this in 30 years of business and pleasure travel.

« Getting to visit grandkids »

Nice place nice people. Had a good breakfast and staff that kept the things full and the area clean. Pool was nice but at times they were having a hard time keeping up with towels . But the place was full also.

« Nicely central to Mesa and surrounding things to do »

As I have not stayed in Mesa in a few decades plus this is one busy area at this time of the year, this hotel met my location and pricing criteria. 20 minutes from the airport was convenient and since I wanted to explore the Canyon Lake and Superstition mountain area, this worked out really well. The facility had a full breakfast, part of the price and had a reasonable pool area and fitness area. Wifi worked which is always a bonus and there was plenty of parking! There was a separate restaurant adjacent to the hotel as well. Within 10 minutes you had all the shopping anyone could need or want! Was happy that a fridge was in the room as well. The hotel was completely full which included a teenage boys baseball team so there was that but thankfully the front desk alerted me to this fact upon check in and immediately put me on a different floor, that was what I call good service!

« Close to Mesa airport »

We stayed one night to catch an early allegient flight out of Mesa. We searched for the right room at the right price online. We found this hotel and made a reservation through TripAdvisor. Easy to find and in a good area, we arrived to find out that the room wasn't what we booked. As the hotel was full they couldn't move us. I asked to speak to the Manager and was helped out by Jill who was on duty. I was very impressed with her. Although busy, she stayed calm and turned over every leaf to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. Very impressed with her and the hotel. Our room was very nice and clean. Little conveniences like lots of plugins close to the bed and lots of hooks in the bathroom for wet bathing suits. Great pool, full breakfast, and a great family restaurant right next door. One drawback - no one answered the phones when I called from my room. We had to go down to the desk when we needed something.

« Best Western is the way to travel. "never disappointed." »

It was clean, lower range price always use your best western card when staying . Denny's and McDonalds in the parking lot. Breakfast was good and the hotel is clean, clean clean. pool and hot tub is awesome. I would stay again not a problem..

    « Spring Training »

Very low water pressure, bathroom dirty, even leaving towels near dirty spots didn't help, housekeeping couldn't read note (written in English) requesting extra towels but took the money. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffles, cereals, yogurts, breads and pastries. No fresh fruit. Lots of kids without supervision running around. Day 2 waffle maker broken, day 3 coffee maker broken. And oh yeah someone pulled the fire alarm at 5 am on a Sunday morning.

    « Excellent Stay! »

I will have to stay that staying at Best Western this weekend was absolutely amazing. Shannon at the front desk shines! She provided excellent customer service and made me feel very welcome to the hotel. The hotel itself was fairly easy to find. Upon checking in, the room looked great! VERY clean! Bed was comfy, bathroom was huge and everything worked. :) Thank you Best Western! I will be back very soon!

« Nicest Best Western in the Area »

This is the third Best Western Hotel I stayed at in the Phoenix/Mesa/Scottsdale area and by far the BEST. Very clean rooms, helpful staff and overall very comfortable...everything you want on vacation.

« Another good stay at Best Western »

Hotel was easy to find off the freeway. Because of spring training, the rate was higher than we'd usually pay ($144 + tax = $164). Our room was big and well appointed with coffeemaker, micro, fridge, loveseat and coffee table. WiFi worked very well. Bathroom was nicely remodeled except for the actual tub. Nice high counters, good water pressure and temp, drained well. Towels were soft, but pretty bulky. They provided shampoo, conditioner and lotion, but they forgot to leave some soap. Thankfully I had some in my bag so we didn't have to go back to the front desk. Water was very soft....felt like soap didn't wash off. Not a lot of TV channels, but at least they were HD. Did have HBO. Bed felt a little stiff at first, but we both slept well. Had the fan only setting running to drown out noise, but we got cold in the middle of the night and switched over to the white noise app on my phone. Breakfast was okay. I usually bring my own whole wheat bagel and eat a banana with peanut butter. The bananas were green, so I had some yogurt with granola. There were the typical scrambled eggs and biscuits/gravy, waffle, know, what most of America gobbles down! The lady at the desk when we checked out was so nice and cheerful! I should've asked her name. A really great attitude, as opposed to who checked us in. There's a Native restaurant directly adjacent to the hotel, which seemed to be popular with the locals. We were too tired to try it. We took a walk around the area right by the hotel and saw the pool in the back, which looked very nice with lounge chairs and tables/chairs, along with a hot tub. Overall, we'd stay here again if in the area. Hope this helps you make your decision!

    « Very Good Hotel »

Stayed for 14 nights recently - small room first two nights, then moved into larger accommodation. Breakfast is good - just get there early on the weekends. Pool area is very nice - would use a few more lounge chairs. Only downside to visit was internet connectivity is spotty at best depending on location at property. Would definitely stay again which is my best recommendation!

« Easy to reach flight academy @ Mesa airport »

Easy access to Gilbert DT, to airport Mesa, breakfast is OK+, staff OK, room are spacious ,clean with free Wi-Fi. We spend there a few days(nights) to visit our son taking flying lessons at CAE Oxford , the transfert with rental car is very easy and you don't have the fuzz (noise) of an airport ;-) Price/quality: TOP

    « 327 »

Checked in after 3 PM no waiting friendly staff. Room 327 over looking the pool area. Everything in room was fine. Easy freeway access to & from. Gilbert road leads right into nearby towns of Gilbert & Chandler. Breakfast gets your day started. Stayed here week before MLB spring training gets underway. Only thing I can think of is maybe have more than one luggage trolley for hotel guest.

    « A quiet stay »

First time at this property, very pleased with our stay. At check-in we requested a quiet room at the end of the hall on an upper floor, and that is what we received. There was a large group of teenage boy hockey teams with their parents staying at this hotel, and am happy to say we never heard them. The breakfast was outstanding, best waffles we've had at a hotel. A very nice variety of breakfast items to choose from. Staff is very warm and accommodating. Room and king sized bed were very comfortable and we slept great. We would stay here again.

    « Definitely Stay elsewhere »

Ok so this is a case of a number of obvious things adding up to a very obvious sum. That sum is that the ownership at this hotel is cutting corners in any every way. Now they may have some manager whose job it is to respond to reviews in a political way, but nothing can can explain away or deceive readers from whats going on here, so do not be fooled. First check in was beyond ridiculous. Policy here is absolutely no check inns before 3pm. but they dont tell you that they lie every time you come back to see if you can get in a room. Noon? they will laugh at you. 1pm still laughing. 2 pm nope come back at 3 pm. Now mind you we were sitting in the lobby all this time and for 3 hours not 1 room got cleaned allegedly that we were able to check into. 2:55 pm ? NOPE we were told that a list of rooms was not yet sent to the front desk. Now at 3 pm they checked us in. We had been here 3 hours went up to the 2nd 3rd 4th floor and saw rooms that were unoccupied being cleaned. By the time i was done being checked in which took well over 5 minutes over 2 dozen people were in line behind me, And how many people were working the desk? Just 1! She was a large rude lady and what was really odd is that she wore no shoes or socks. Now they werent honest in saying policy was 3pm and never before, we were told numerous poor excuses up until 3pm. One being that the rooms cleaned first were people staying over which is backwards and was a lie as the next 2 days we saw that the unoccupied rooms were cleaned first as they are at every hotel. Later that day I saw a lady with a pink shirt that i remembered was the last person in line when i had finished getting checked in, i asked her how long she had to wait and she said 4:10 pm. Now as for the breakfast. ! lady was preparing the food in back and the same lady was responsible to also restock the food and everything constantly ran out over and over. Our toilet got clogged we called the desk were put on hold and 10 minutes later we were still on hold. We went to the desk to ask for maintenance came back 3 hours later and no one had shown up. The pool towels ran out and they had no more. The excuse was they had a lot of kids rather than telling the simple truth (we dont have enough pool towels) Nope we didnt hear they didnt have enough towels we heard they had to many guests??? The refrigerator did not work and they would not replace it they would not switch us from another room they told us they could switch rooms the next day. This was just a nightmare all around and i could go on and on here. So do not stay here. They have cut endless corners and are way way under staffed and they just dont care enough to fix any of these issues or hire a proper staff here

    « Great Hotel »

We were traveling for Veterinary care for injured pet and this hotel was amazing. It was recommended because it was close to the surgical center and they have great pet policy, clean rooms and great breakfast. We have stayed twice and more visits are planned. We will stay when traveling without our pets for the few shopping trips we plan throughout the year as it is located very near some great shopping malls & centers.

« Good hotel for the price »

Nice, dependable rooms consistent with the nicest Best Western hotels I've stayed at. Great bed and fast internet. I was there with a large group for several days of hiking and outdoor fun. Hotel breakfasts (built in to the rate) were much appreciated and utilized by my group. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

    « BEST, Best Western. »

BEST, Best Western. If you need a great place at an acceptable price to stay at while you're in the area, this is the one you're looking for. They can acommodate families, large groups, and business travelers with ease and comfort. This is accomplished with an amazing staff, amenities, cleanliness, and location.

« Quiet, clean, friendly staff »

Our check-in was very quick and Shannon at the fron desk was most helpful. The room was nice and clean, and spacious. We had a good night's sleep on the comfortable bed. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly and served a good selecton of foods. We'd return here for sure! Good and convenient location in Mesa.

    « Best Customer Service »

Most mid range hotels are similar and the service makes the difference. Staff here go above and beyond to try and please. Very friendly quick check in. They quickly accomodated a change of dates for us and repaired a wonky TV. Breakfast was good and changed slightly each day. Pool was warm even though it was cold out. Room was good and bed ok. One negative is the entrance and exit is across 4 lanes of traffic so patience is required. General location is very good but not much within walking distance.

« Solid Stay - Room Was Not Clean at Checkin »

We had a good stay. The young woman at reception was super friendly and engaging and responded to every need we had. Our room was nicely decorated with contemporary browns, oranges and beige. Movement was a little tight as there was limited space between the foot of the bed and cabinet holding TV, microwave and refrigerator. The internet was fine - not blazing but satisfactory and there was plenty of outlets available regardless of where you opted to sit (bed, sofa or desk). Our bathroom was dirty at check in. The tub area had not been tended to properly as the chrome fixtures were covered with water spots that could have been easily wiped down. The sides of the walls had flecks of dried something on them and there was plenty of hairs around the tub surround. I reported the matter at 1900 and they sent someone up to clean it for us. I don't enjoy entering a room that isn't ready. Also, there were no grab bars of any kind in the tub - we didn't feel very secure using it. The bed was OK. They did have the smallest, thinnest mattress pad I've ever seen and the one on our king bed was the size you'd put on a twin. I could see the red border stitched along the edge of the pad through the sheet and there was about two feet of mattress that the pad did not cover. I had to wonder why they bothered with the thing. They do not carry the TV channel in the area that airs my two favorite shows - Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. This was a major disappointment for me as I look forward to watching them both while on the road. The front desk clerk suggested I check the TV in the lobby but the channel wasn't available there either. Odd numbered rooms may be wider by about eight inches. We had to switch rooms due to a wet carpet and our room on the other side of the wall was much wider and the extra space between the foot of the bed and the large cabinet was welcome. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours and they have a comfortable lobby. Breakfast was good with hot items rotating daily. The two days we were there they had scrambled eggs, sausage and sausage gravy on the first and scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and sausage the second. There were enough choices to keep everyone happy. There was one coffee choice and it was very good. Although the machine initially dispensed hot water when you pulled the tap, coffee soon flowed. ?the only items they take for recycling are paper. We took our plastic bottles and cans with us.

« This is good hotel »

Very good very good very good that's good service breakfast is good, room is beautiful. the parking is very good swimming pool is good, gym is good I lie it very much. This is the very good best western I have ever stayed

    « A really lovely experience »

We needed a location close to an event. This BW turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Great staff. Better than average hotel breakfast. Within a short drive to every chain restaurant. Parking is skimpy if you are towing a trailer.

    « Best Western Mesa »

Nice inexpensive motel near the freeway in Mesa. The location was the primary deciding point in selecting this motel. Breakfast options were extensive, but the food attendant was often unable to keep up with the demand resulting in empty serving plates.

    « Not Satisfied »

I usually am not unhappy about a Best Western but I was this time. Hotel room needed a light bulb as soon as you walk in. Curtain was ripped on window and coffee table was damaged and looked really bad. Did not like breakfast with flimsy plastic for breakfast. For the fee which I now wish I had stayed at the Marriott. I will check the room better next time.

    « Very good »

Good staff, good rooms, nice price. Everything was perfect even the barber in front of the hotel. The breakfast is included for free and the City directly accessible through the freeway. There is a quiet swiming pool and a microwave in the room.

    « Mesa business stay »

This hotel is very conveniently located at AZ Hwy 60 and Gilbert Rd. There are good restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. The hotel is very quiet for business travelers and has an excellent fitness center. Their breakfast are is also very nice.

    « Very nice hotel »

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Friendly staff. Nice room. Spacious bathroom. Good access to the freeway. Good parking. I will consider staying at this hotel when we are in the area.

« Stay in Best Western Mesa »

Location is convenient. Quality of accommodations has declined since it was a Hampton Inn, in spite of extensive renovations. The building is just old. Ventilation system appears defective. Elevators had to be shut down for one day.

    « Amazing! »

Was in town to visit family. The hotel was a little hard to see because the sign was so small and behind a tree. Great location though. Jill checked me in and she was quick and friendly! The rooms were clean and so were all public areas. I stopped a young lady in the hallway, I believe by the name of Chantel to ask for extra towels and conditioners, she got it to me right away and withe a great smile on her face telling me to have a good day, that was very thoughtful of her. All staff seemed to have great care for their job. Breakfast was a little rough but I will be staying here again.

« Disgusting, would give a zero if possible. »

Possibly the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The bathroom was filthy. There were hair/whiskers everywhere, on the wall, the floor, in the tub, even pubic hair on the sink counter, in the sink, in the soap dish, and on the plastic tray for shampoo! There was yellow urine on the toilet. There was either blood or vomit on the wall behind the toilet. There was toilet paper on the wall. Dirt all along the baseboards. There was an odor in the bathroom almost like a overflowing septic smell. The condition of the bathroom made me wonder if the sheets were even fresh or if someone else had slept on them. It was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The bathroom fan was really loud and no way to shut it off. Next morning clerk offered to put me in a different room, I looked at it and decided no. I was so  disappointed. I originally reserved 3 nights but left the next morning. ALSO, both of the elevators were broken and I had to haul luggage down 4 flights of stairs to leave. I have arthritis and this incident aggravated pain in my shoulder and wrists, fingers and feet.

    « Merry Christmas »

This facility is impressive when entering the lobby. It appears to be a much higher class of hotel than it's rated as. My initial. concern was access to a room since I am handicapped and had requested either a handicapped room or at least a first floor accommodation. As it happens an elevator was available and the clerk at the desk was very friendly and did her best to set us up in a room in a good location. The room was nothing remarkable, but everything seemed to work well. The two things that I noticed that were out of character were a disconnected plug in the bath tub and a number of large scratches on the base of the vanity in the bath that didn't seem in keeping with the otherwise clean room. Breakfast was unremarkable, but satisfactory. All in all, a very good deal considering the cost and the time of year. I suppose the price may be somewhat higher once Spring Training for the baseball season gets underway.

« Pretty Disappointing! Doesn't follow throuugh & rooms are not cleaned properly. »

First off, service was just horrible. We had called a few days before arrival to change our reservation to 2 beds since we were adding a 3rd person. It was confirmed but when we got there they said they did not have it! They said they could do nothing about it because they didn't have rooms with the 2 beds left. Already upset we just took the room but even worse when we got up to the room the rooms didn't look like they were really cared for. When we flipped open the sofabed from the couch, there were hair in the blankets. We did not want to deal with this anymore. What else did they not clean or change in the room? The only good thing is that when we went to front desk right after we checked in the front desk FINALLY felt bad and since they messed up twice and let us out of the reservation but the inconvenience of finding another hotel at a higher cost was not fun. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more to stay somewhere else if you want a clean room and the room type you want.

« Great Stay in Mesa »

Convenient Parking, Friendly Staff, Decent Breakfast, Clean Rooms and Comfortable Beds. Check in and Check out were quick. There are convenient computers in the lobby for the guests to use. The hot tub was clean and big.

« Great place to stay but has needs some upgrades »

Great and helpful staff. Nice clean surroundings; walking distance to a great Sports bar. Great selection of breakfast food. Improvements: Low or inadequate water pressure for the shower head attachment used. For occassional cold weather use: provide on loaner use, squeegees or other tool for travellers to clean off frost on windshield. Other: was woken up at 4:00am by noisy people on hallway during their checkout time. Also: On two occassions, a terrible smell, such as septic tank smell permeated from the vents.

« Great hotel, reasonable rate »

A very nice hotel, especially for the rate. Clean, quiet, good staff. This hotel does not offer suites, but the room was appointed nice a\\enough, and was roomy enough, that this really was not an issue.

    « Great stay »

We stayed here for my son's out of state baseball tournament. The lobby was well updated. The staff was available and cautious when needed. The breakfast was much more than expected. Seemed to be enough parking. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect score is the WiFi. It did not seem to be strong enough to be reliable while I was there. Overall, I would stay there again for sure.

    « Another great stay »

I have frequented this establishment on several occasions over the passed year and I am always pleased with the service, the professionalism of the hotel staff, the cleanliness of the hotel room and the amenities and the breakfast. By far, Best Western has been my favorite hotel chain to stay at for business or leisure. I highly recommend them to anyone who travels on a regular basis.

    « Excellent Hotel »

The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was great. The room was nice. Overall, a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at numerous best westerns and had never signed up for the rewards card. The lady at the front desk when I checked in asked and at first, I said no. But then I got to thinking and changed my mind. Great sales lady :)

    « personnal were great »

    « Thanksgiving 2015 »

Nice place to stay when visiting relatives in Mesa. Spacious room, comfortable bed, lots of choices for breakfast both hot and cold. Enjoyed our stay, would stay there again. Didn't have time to use hot tub or pool, but was told they stay heated through January.

« Hotel that is close to just about everything! »

We've been able to stay at this BW when we are in Mesa, and truly enjoy it. There are no noise issues, place is clean and it is right next door to a Native Grill Restaurant. There are other restaurants and malls in the area that are close by as well. Any issues that we have had, we relay to the staff and they are taken care of immediately. We recommend this BW to anybody who wants peace and quiet and friendly professional staff.

    « smelly bathroom »

    « A little hard to find - but a great hotel »

My GPS took me to the neighborhood for this hotel - after a busy ride down US 60. But - the hotel sign was hard to see from the road and all the drivers behind me gave me no opportunity to "look around." I finally made a phone call to the hotel and they gave me some clues. The hotel is located on the parking lot of a mini mall ... it sits at right angles to Gilbert Road - and back from the road. You have to go past the hotel and enter the mall parking lot .... and then you'll see the hotel. It is clean, comfortable and amazingly inexpensive. It is one of the "Plus" version of a Best Western hotel/motel -- there is a microwave and a refrigerator. The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed my stay.

    « No, it's not the Ritz »

Nice property with a good staff and breakfast, too. Adequate parking out front. Nice enough rooms although they are looking a bit tired and could use a freshening. Simple, clean and a good place to hand your hat for a night or two. I stayed here about 10 years ago and when I discovered that I needed to be in Gilbert for a few days, I purposely chose this hotel. Hasn't changed much and if I need to be in the area again in 10 years, I will return. No, it isn't the Ritz but then again, I didn't expect it to be.

« Perfect for my needs! »

The room was spacious and nice. I've stayed in Mesa a number of times, but never noticed this place. Pleasant Surprise. Only 4 floors. Not overly busy while I was there. Very quiet! Breakfast had many choices...something for everyone. Didn't use the pool but looked very nice. Only complaint I have is that the bathroom sink is way to high for us short people! Coffee in the room, microwave. If you are staying in Mesa for awhile this place is perfect. There is a nice restaurant/sports bar in the same parking lot. Great food!

    « Another Great Stay »

I have frequented this establishment several times over the past six months and each time was a real pleasure! The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and the food is always prepared nicely and very good! Great place and highly recommended for business or pleasure. Thanks.

    « Great Location »

Attended a wedding in Mesa, Az with 13 family members. We all stayed at the BW PLUS Mesa and had great accommodations. This hotel was centrally located and offered many place to dine in the local area, close to lots of attractions. Great place to stay.

    « Nice! »

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We picked this hotel for it's location. We had an event to attend and my daughter lived right around the corner. Perfect! The pool looked inviting, I'm sorry we didn't have time to try it out. We had munchies in the little bar area in the hotel and the food was good. All in all, I would stay here again.

    « It had everything »

Friendly staff and great amenities with a refrigerator, microwave and in-room coffee. The downside was stains on the carpet and lousy TV reception but those weren't of highest importance. This trip was business and family but I can't indicate that.

    « Great Place »

This is a great place to stay. Hotel is very pleasant looking on first impressions and only gets better as you go. Staff is very attentive and rooms are very, very nice. If you want a really nice place to stay and get the benefit of a great price, you absolutely will not be disappointed staying here. I promise!

    « Trip to Mesa »

Enjoyed staying at this motel every one is very co-operative and will make your stay just as you are staying at home after long day of business meetings. A suggestion why this review has to be not less than 200 words, One can express in very few words what he has to say.

    « Clear, efficient pleasant! »

The accommodations at this hotel and staff was amazing. I will definitely stay at a best Western Plus again. I really liked that there was a good size sitting area and couch (vs chair) in the room! Thank you!

    « Well Done »

Experienced no problems during stay. I read many of the negative reviews and really do not understand where they got their information. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. In short, it was what you would expect.

    « A great hotel »

I have only stayed at one other BW Plus and that was in Asheville, NC. This one rates right up there with it and they were both excellent. The hotel rooms are very nice, and the breakfast is so good, with a great variety. The people are friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more!

    « Great stay »

I have stayed at the Best Western in Mesa several times over the last few months and each time I had absolutely no complaints. The staff at this and every Best Western is always very helpful, professional, caring and friendly. Keep up the good work! A+

    « Great hotel!! »
