    « straightforward budget accomadation »

I have stayed here on numerous occasions because of convenience, its close to Sandown raceway. the people who run the place have the personality of a brick & don't really engage with you, but once you get past that the place is okay. the rooms have always been clean but do look a tad tired & could do with a bit of an upgrade, chipped tables etc. the downside here is nothing is close unless you like KFC (right next door) supermarkets restaurants etc are all a good 10 plus minutes drive away. if you can avoid the rooms towards the front of the motel, please do as Friday & Saturday night is hoon night & you will hear the traffic, rooms at the back of the motel are the quietest. it is priced reasonably & there is not much better in the area. you get what you pay for & we will re visit

    « Resting »

Arrived in dandenong for shopping and rest found this motel great for me as use a cane for walking completely flat site parking outside room walk in shower clean and spacious all for $110.00 can't go wrong quite area on slip road off main road will stay again

    « Photo's are deceiving! »

Seriously gross room. We looked online and said there was availability in a standard room for $95, on arrival 5 mins later (a bit before 6pm) the place was closed. Rang bell got the lady to come out who said there was no way Best Western do $95 room. She then said only a spa room available. We were buggered so agreed. Entered the room with spa in the corner. Room was very grubby and needs a good clean. Bed was uncomfortable, no quilt just a rug. There's electric blanket. I found several hairs under the sheet and long ones on the bed runner. Found several curlies in the spa bath - the jets are grubby and need a good scrub. Bath clearly not sanitised. Kettle was black on the inside. The smoke alarm on the roof was wrapped in a plastic bag - the room smelled of cigarette smoke so suspect a long term visitor wrapped it up to smoke in the room, who knows. Having a shower revealed a stench from the pipe work, smelled as though it was directly plumber to raw sewerage!! It is very rare that I would ever review something so poorly but this place would barely earn 3 stars if it were $45 a night. I slept wrapped up in towels (these seemed clean), showered in thongs and was out of there quick smart in the morning!!

    « Tacky and smokey!!! »

Came from the country/interstate for funeral, room looked ok on Internet, but pointed out room was smelly with smoke but was greeted with shoulder shrug, later noticed smoke detector had been disabled to be able to smoke in room with spa. Would not recommend

« A Dump with staff that are Rude »

Booked and paid for two nights at $130 a night. Including breakfast. Then I find out that our other family members whom we recommend also book and stay are paying $20 less a night????? I then am contacted at 8:30 pm and told that the breakfast included in the nightly charge is not available because it is $1 over there allowance????? This place and its staff are rude and asked that I deal with best western direct????? I cancelled the second nights accommodation to on the spot and booked elsewhere...... I will be contacting best western tomorrow this I a disgrace. My advice do not stay here.

« Would definitely stay again. »

After a nightmare experience at a nearby location. This place was awesome! The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of storage space for suitcases. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. When we needed an extra bed, they were only too happy to provide one. They've also been happy to provide extra pillows and towels. Beds being comfortable is a requirement of mine and I was more than happy with these. The bathroom tap is a bit unusual but works fine. I know some reviews have complained about insufficient hot water but we had 4 adults in one room and didn't have a problem with running out of hot water once. The shower does take some training to get the temperature right, but by shower #2 I'd mastered it. I also enjoyed the fact that you can just walk straight into the shower, there's no step up or anything. There's also plenty of car park spaces and a KFC literally next door. There is a bar fridge and a microwave and bench area so you could do simple meals if you wanted to. I'd be more than happy to stay here again. It's an affordable place to stay that's clean.

« No wifi, no hot water.... »

We usually stay Best Western because they have great accreditation. Just found the exception!! Very poor wifi, kept dropping out. Went to run a spa at 9.30pm to find there was no hot water. Decided against contacting reception due to the late hour. Still no hot water for shower next morning. My husband went over to reception to be told, wait a few minutes and I'll turn it on for you. When I requested a discount on checking out as we couldn't use the spa bath, was told he could have fixed that last night had we told him. Due the late hour we thought we were being courteous. Then, when I got in the shower, discovered mould in the grout everywhere (room 2). Started seeing how dirty and marked the walls were from then on, but I guess I was looking harder now I was cranky. We did get $25 refunded, but it was not happy service from the reception. Never again.

« I will always check trip advisor first from now on »

I booked this room at the last minute for my wife and I to stay at for a weekend away. Normally I check reviews before booking anything, but I figured Best Western was a safe bet. I come from the US and Best Western is one of the better rooms you can book for a night. I booked a room with a spa (for obvious reaons). About 9:30 PM we had settled down and I went to run the spa to find out there was not enough hot water to fill it. It was pretty ridiculous my wife and I laying in the bottom of the spa trying to get wet. Did not accomplish the intended purpose AT ALL. Since it was getting late at night I decided to blow it off. I'll back up just a bit. When we first checked into the room I went to the toilet. I raised the lid which had the (unsealed) paper seal on it to assure me it was clean, and it looked like there was coffee grounds floating in the water. I did my business and blew it off (not literally). The next morning we work for a shower and the was no hot water. My wife heated the kettle and poured it into the wash basin for what is known as a spit bath in Texas. I just wasn't willing to blow it off any more. I walked to the lobby which was locked and rang for assistance. I had to do this because there was no number in the room to ring for reception. The guy running the place answered the phone and I told him of our troubles with the hot water, and politely asked if he could help. He said he could and I went back to the room. Within a couple of minutes he rang and said the switch was off for some reason. After that we had hot water. NEXT, and this is really minor and I wouldn't mention it except for the other stuff, the wifi service was as slow or worse than dial-up (anyone under 30 ask your parents about it). There was mold on the grout in the shower. My wife photoed it and is going to send it to Best Western. She kept picking other things, but I mentioned to her that she wouldn't even notice them it we weren't already pissed off. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE, the manager did adjust our rate to that of a room without a spa (but not without stating that if I had called him at 9:30 PM he could have helped us). Sorry about that. I thought I was being considerate. AND, the bed was comfy. About me, I am not an unreasonable man. This is the worst review I've ever left for a room. Would I stay there again? If I was traveling by myself and had lower expectations, sure I would. I'll never trust a motel again just because it has a good name. Always check reviews. That's my advice and I'm sticking by it.

    « Fantastic Stay!! »

Staff were polite and more than happy to help. Price was reasonable and the room standard and cleanliness was higher than most other hotels. Location was good - only a short drive to shops on Douglas street. My only problem was the breakfast room service being half an hour late - but it was made to a good standard. I would recommend this place to anyone on a family or business trip.

    « Basic Motel Accommodation. »

Basic motel accommodation - although neat & clean inside, had average facilities and could use an update. Located next to busy highway (noisy) and although bright night lighting in car park was good security, the room requires better/improved curtaining to block-out the lighting to enable occupants to sleep. Heater/cooler filter needs good clean. Room contained basic facilities ie: TV, barfridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea/coffee making items with only two mismatched cups but no crockery (plates, bowls etc.) and no cutlery in room, so how are you supposed to utilise toaster for example . Garden areas appeared unattended and untidy - grass not mowed for sometime. Consider value rates over-priced ($140 /n) and suitable only for a single night stayover.

« Find Some where else! »

From booking in to pre booked requirements, no hot water for the spa. Late room preparations due to 'being busy' the previous day. No WIFI, limited room heating and an out right disgusting service. Especially when the Chinese ethnic staff could communicate well until I made a complaint then they 'did not understand' any-more...funny that. Worst Hotel / Motel seriously spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

    « good »

Clean and comfortable has a pool and well priced good service well worth a stop over if your tired down the road from the pub and the racecourse and around 10min from Dandelong easy accessible and well signed they do have breakfast but needs too be ordered ie room service

    « A night in Noble Park »

A clean and comfortable motel that served a excellent breakfast. Very good value for money. We needed to stay a night to attend a function at Monash University. The location of this motel was just right and added to the quality of our experience.

    « Highly Recommend »

Great place to stay, close to shops and restaurant, easy access to road, clean room, friendly staff. Peaceful area. Great for short or long stay. Highly recommend for any one wanting to stay in the local area

    « Clean & comfortable »

A bit noisy with the highway at the front door, but I slept fine. The access to the highway and the area is why I was there so it wasn't an issue. 15 minute (early morning) drive to the Dandenong South industrial areas so very handy to businesses. Plenty of take-away places close by, a good pub a couple of minutes up the road. All in all, not a bad place to stay for a quick business trip.
