Best Western Plus Lockport Hotel

Best Western Lemony Snicket Be prepared for a series of unfortunate events, Purchased early check-in, not available on arrival. Back at 3pm, still not ready. Back at 4:15 pm, ready at 4:30 pm. Room was clean, beds were OK, but carpets stained and smelly throughout. Air conditioning was noisy and useful to cover up the hot date next door. Eggs and sausage breakfast was OK however a bad toaster set off the fire alarm as we were dressing. Partial room service only once per 3 days, includes towels but not beds. Friendly employees are totally swamped by management's neglect. Abandoned buildings and closed rooms on site, with an ocean of cigarette butts at the sidewalk's edge. Scratchy toilet paper and napkins along with small amenity bottles that need a gorilla's strength. Looks like long term neglect across the board, with tacit approval of Corporate. I am permanently banning the entire Best Western Chain from my future travels. If you are writing the next chapter in Lemony Snicket's adventures, come on over for some unfortunate inspirations!

So. Nice staff but the smell in the hallway is real. We stayed on 1st floor and as soon as you walk past the pop machine and open the door to the hallway. It takes your breath away. They tried soraying but that moldy smell is awful. If you can hold your breath long enough to get to your room then try that. Staff were nice but the smell is one reason we wont be back

customer service was poor, breakfast was not available at the scheduled time. outside of hotel was run down and not taken care of. The room was okay but the heat/air was very noisy and didn't work well to maintain the temperature in the room. tv channel selection was poor and remote control didn't have a sleep function on it.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. The room very clean and tidy. The pool area was very comfortable and clean. Pool towels are available either in pool area or st the front desk. The breakfsst hours are very convenient. Very clean and pleasant hotel.

Hotel needs update inside and outside. My opinion is this is not a plus hotel. TV very old and small. Fridge did not get very cold. NO microwave. Old fixtures with no USB ports or electrical plug-ins.

This location is not up yo the BW standard. We arrived at midnight, they sent us to a already occupied room. The occupants didn't have the additional latch on the door we walked into a dangerous spot.

Although the staff was fairly friendly, this property is not what you'd expect from a BW Plus. It's old and run down in need of repairs. The amenities are minimal and the rooms are very tiny which we aren't used to at a plus property. The carpet in the room was so dirty it was sticky. There were electrical outlets and power strips with exposed wires that looked unsafe. There was no housekeeping the entire time we were there. The price was way too high for what they offer.

If you ever wanted to see what a hotel looks like just before they tear it down, now is your chance. Building facade crumbling in several places. If I didn't have a non-cancelable reservation, I would have turned around. Impossibly slow internet + it disconnects frequently. I lost an entire evening (where I usually do paperwork) because of this. Tiny hard plastic bottles of soap, conditioner, lotion, difficult to squeeze the contents. Refrigerator had a high pitch sound, so I had to use ear plugs. Typical of many hotels, the bathroom door not plumb so it won't stay partially open. I like to leave the bathroom door slightly open with the light on so I can find my way out in case of an emergency in the middle of the night. Hotels should really have night lights in the rooms. No plugs for all my "plug-ins." I have camera and other batteries and phones and IPad to charge. One outlet! Bring a plug strip with a long cord. Elevator old and dirty. Door wouldn't close, kept bouncing back open. If that happens, hold the "door open" button, then try again. Door opens while the car is still moving. Don't open the curtains. Windows haven't been cleaned in a long, long time. They provide a good size plastic bag for ice, nice touch. Filled up the bag, bottom ripped out. Bring your own. My pet peeve...a child's size toilet. Don't they know that adults usually stay in the rooms? Very slow flush. Bet they get a lot of plugged toilets. Don't understand why hotels buy the cheapest toilets they can. Desk staff busy, but friendly. Morning staff friendlier. Breakfast...well, Tim Horton's & Dunkin' Donuts is right down the street. Banquet on the first floor, you could smell the food from one end of the hotel to the other. Room itself had a funky smell. I've stayed in a hotel 56 nights this year, this one ranks 55. On the positive side, it had a nice, new comfortable mattress. Also on the positive side, there's a nicer Quality Inn next door.

The staff was not extremely welcoming, and the internet is horrible at this location. Do not count on breakfast too much. However, overall the place was clean, safe, and good-looking. I think this has quite good value for the price.

When we entered the room the air conditioning was running at high speed and the room temperature was 60 degrees. Much too cold and a waste of energy. The clock on the night table was flashing. There was no lamp near the desk and there was no note pad. But the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast lacked any fresh fruit. The steps leading up to the second floor at the F entrance was in need of a major cleaning.

Housekeeping only make up the rooms every 3 days. Have never heard of this and I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels for years.This one is a long shot from a Best Western Plus! Check in ladies were too busy discussing other room issues so I got a paper to sign in and pointed to the elevator. I made several phone calls to have an item removed from my credit card & the lady that finally helped me was named Brianne.. Thank you Brianne.

We attended a weekend conference at the hotel and stayed in a room on site. Booking, check in, and check out were easy. Every hotel staff meme er we worked with was friendly and helpful. The weekend was snowy, and entrances/parking lots were cleared both day and night any time we wanted to travel. The location of the hotel is convenient- close to shopping centers and restaurants. We were able to go out to eat and find bars when we wanted; and also have food delivered in easily. I would be pleased to return.

Would not recommended this hotel ever! Stay in alot of hotels for our line of work and they will make false claims to charge your credit card extra fees! This hotel is a complete joke . so beware before you stay at the Best Western in Lockport

The staff here was very helpful with all my questions. They helped me find some great places to eat. The hotel was nice. My bed was very comfortable and the room was very peaceful. The pool felt great. I would recommend this hotel hands down

Should have known when we pulled up and saw people drinking outside and garbage around parking lot (beer bottles and general garbage) that this place is ghetto as F**k. Got in at midnight from funeral and front door locked, people making out on couch in foyer? Um what? Got to room and drunks walking around our floor banging on doors, loud noise? Weird! Room smelled of smoke and Ben Gay. Two double beds, not queen size for sure and only sheet on each bed? Weird strange! Drunkards next door room had their clock radio alarm going off for 1.5 hours til we finally left. Now I know why we don't live here anymore. Do your self a favor don't bother! But wait theres more: no towels when we got in our room and tv remote didn't work, strange huh, yup welcome to Lockport.

Pricing aside, as hotels in the area are overpriced for what you get, we weren't expecting much. First the pluses, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Evening staff was friendly. Downsides, the building has several maintenance issues from the a/c that broke in our room, switches that don't work, fridge with rust and damaged shelving, peeling and bubbled wallpaper, and waking up to a fire alarm at 6am that was shut off before we made it out(false obviously). In addition, breakfast options are dismal. Plan to eat elsewhere if you have any dietary restrictions like we did. Finally as we prepared to leave early we noticed a weird insect by the TV stand. We alerted management at checkout.

We should have left without coming inside. It looks straight out of the 70s but we were tired and it was raining. Everything looked dreary. The room is okay but full sized beds, not queen. Older cheaply made furniture. AC worked is the only reason they got two stars. They have never vacuumed the place or cleaned the floor in the breakfast area. It was sticky with syrup and nasty under all of the fixtures. Stair carpets are FILTHY like they are not aware you can clean stairs. Tracks of the elevator look like a dumpster. Totally regret staying here and will be filing a complaint with the company. If this “Plus” hotel is their gem then they don't know a diamond from broken shards of glass. We won't ever consider another Best Western.

We had a few issues that we were willing to let go of (no towels and the fire alarm consistently chirping for hours) but when we called to follow up with the general manager after not hearing from them we were treated as if we were trying to scam them. The GM was defensive and frankly rude on the phone. She essentially accused of us of tampering with the alarm because when they went to check on it, it was no longer chirping and claimed that since no other guests heard it there was no issue. Again we were fine with letting go of the issue and simply wanted to inform them of our experience, but this pushed us over the edge. Not only was the GM dismissive, she hung up on us after deciding that they had no issues. This was just really frustrating and for what we paid the experience as well as the hotel itself weren't worth it. Definitely go elsewhere.

Like others have stated Best Western used to be a good choice and one of my first choice but I have seen such a down hill slide and no one cares about us the consumer. It may be because of "each are independently owned and operated" We stayed in a Best western + one of the better hotel NOT. It was one of the worst place run down indoor pool at such a cold temp we couldn't stay in it. My guess the water temperature was in the 60's. Food for full breakfast was junk we would have been better staying elsewhere at a lower price and had breakfast at a Denny's. Last but most importantly we reached out to the independent owned place and they didn't give a rip. So said this is my last hope at redemption to see if corporate cares. As I write today I would not ever recommend this place

Blood on bedding, towels blood stained, dirty hotel. Ceiling tiles coming down in pool area. Poor breakfast with minimal options available. No fresh fruit, no yogurt. Waffles , eggs and greasy sausage, and bread.

Think twice before booking in this establishment. Does not aligine with the standard of quality I'm used to from a BW establishments. Staff not very friendly, poor front desk help. Pool dirty and milky. Common areas smelled like cigarette smoke.

Upon walking in the hallway to our room we could smell that someone had been smoking pot. When we got in our room it was terribly strong. All guests that were with us said the same about their rooms. Old and outdated hotel.

We also enjoying staying at the Best Western Plus Lockport. The rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent A/C! It's in the perfect location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. The staff is friendly and always available to help with any request.

My stay at this Best Western did not meet my expectations. My family stayed 6 days. When I booked, I requested a pet friendly room, with 2 queen beds. The first night we were given a room with 2 double beds and told it was the only room available. We were able to move across the hallway for the remainder of our stay. However, this room smelled like cat urine. The carpet was sticky and dirty. There were not enough towels, or blankets. When asked for additional , towels were provided but were told there were not enough blankets. We were given think sheet-like “blankets”. The room was also dirty, the shades were stained, and there was dust and dirt behind the night stand proving the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. The hallway also smelled like smoke and was not vacuumed. Breakfast offered a few options, but many days items were not stocked. Ex: no jelly, butter, not enough water. Staff explained the reason there was not enough, was because of bus trips. (Note: this is a hotel where many bus trips stop for 1 night stays). This hotel is good for a one night stay if your looking for something easy and basic. It is not the type of hotel to stay at multiple nights with a family and pet. I am disappointed in Best Western, as I have had good experiences at other locations. This location was below satisfactory.

This is a PLUS Best Western and it shows. This is an updated property with a great team to service their guests, close to everything, great pool and facilities, free parking, easy access to rooms, clean and safe. It was perfect and well worth the rate.

The rooms were small, but the beds were smaller. There were very few outlets and NO USB ports for charging. The hotel itself looked VERY shabby from the outside, the carport was literally falling down over our heads. The furniture in the common areas was dirty and looked very "used". There are nicer and better kept hotels less than a block away. I am disappointed in the amount of money I paid, and the quality of the stay.

Hotel has only enough blackest and pillows for rooms nothing extra .Stall told us to use heat control . Breakfast was nice but very limited and morning staff was more friendly. The event we attended was a wedding and prices were extremely high and everyone payed a different price

Wifi did not work in the room at all. We were told some phones are particular about logging on which was not true as the wifi was stronger at the check-in desk and this is why the front desk representative was able to log on. Once we got back to the room, zero wifi every single time we tried. They also did not deliver towels to the room. We had to go to the desk to get them. You are able to hear your neighbors and if you request silverware at dinnertime, they will say they don't have any. We don't like leaving negative feedback, but sadly there wasn't much to brag about. :(

Checked in a bit later and the front door was locked. Was told it's cause 'misunderstood people' tend to come, linger, use the bathroom and not leave.... You have to be buzzed in each time cause they haven't added a card reader to the front door. The lobby smells ok.. The breakfast area and hallways are another story. I couldn't eat in the breakfast area cause the smell made me gag. It was so dirty smelling. The carpet in the hallway needs to be cleaned. The room didn't smell. Not many outlets for charging devices, moved the arm chair to look for a plug, the chair doesn't look like it had been moved in ages. There was garbage an other stuff back there, included what looked like underwear... Asked for extra towels as we had 3 staying in 1 room. They seemed put out to find us 1 set of towels so we could all shower. Walls are thin, could hear the screaming child in the room next to us until 1am. People staying there were slobs in the breakfast area leaving plates, napkins and whatnot all over. There seemed to be a shortness of staff so the breakfast area looked dirty all morning (as we packed the car and went and got breakfast to eat in our rooms). Brochures for events and activities by the conference center were dated 2019 & 2020...

One employee for the whole hotel, we got 2 towels for 5 guests, breakfast was awful and dirty and the hallway carpets had a STRONG odor of cat urine. I left there feeling like I needed a shower. Would not recommend or stay again.

We love Best Westerns especially what you get for your money. This hotel is in need of some freshening up. It is bearing it's age and could be cleaner. But staff extremely friendly and informative and very helpful.

The day staff that aren't management are absolutely horrible and should not work in the service industry… ASKED MY FAMILY WHY DO YOU PEOPLE STAY HERE.. AND I WAS TRAVELING WITH MY CHILDREN ONE OF WITCH IS AUTISTIC!

The facility was dirty and the room smelled like bleach and cigarette smoke. There was only one attended during check in and was not able to accommodate another room that was clean or smoke free. I spent two days e-mailing and calling trying to rectify the situation and was unsuccessful until my credit card contested the charges! Completely unprofessional!

Dirty, dated, no one at front desk, not safely locked or secured, drafty windows, poor towel stock, no one to clean regularly, parking lot full of potholes, forced to stay there for tournament or would have left, walls very thin, bed so uncomfortable, very few working outlets.

Booked room weeks in advance they knew for party reception & her boyfriend refused to give us room ( kept my money) boyfriend attacked my granddaughter ruined my 10 yr old b day disqusted & filthy place

We had to travel for family business (lose in family). Room was clean, nice linens. Excellent staff, very helpful, friendly and courteous. This hotel is what you would expect in this price range. We would stay again.

Requested an ADA room which was the furthest room from the entrance. Also offered free wifi but no internet access, Why in the world do you offer free Wifi access but no internet access, doesn't make sense.

OK for no frills stay, clean room, quiet hotel, comfortable bed, no hair dryer in room and none available at front desk, breakfast is unpalatable and in short supply, best if plan to eat elsewhere, nothing about this stay wowed me.

Dirty outdated hotel with disgruntled staff very understaffed mold on ceilings stains in all the halls four day stay never once did they vacuum the halls seemed mostly concerned with their extended stay rooms for construction workers not once was there towels on the pool always had to ask front desk whose reply was how many will be swimming never once stocked the pool coffee was the cheapest coffee we tried to drink it the first day then just went out for an coffee and breakfast as eggs and sausage on the menus everyday horrible

My experience was not good at all due to several reasons 1. customer service and professionalism of not all but some of the staff members who I've interacted with. 2.cleanliness 3. Racially motivated environment with individuals and some staff. 4.bad odor in guest rooms.

I had a great experience at Best Western Lockport hotel but just one thing I didn't like. Checkout time was 12 ‘o' clock but room service people started coming knocking on the door like by 11 a.m. That was really disturbing. We were putting our stuff together to leave but the knocking on the door made us feel like we were late for checkout. Otherwise it was a great experience. Room was nice and clean. Recommended!

Dirty....check sheets/comforter if you have to stay there. Very disappointed in a Best Western Plus. I have never had this issue and should have listened to the reviews. I went for the name as I have never had a bad stay.

Perfect stay while visiting the Erie Canal. Good location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Christy at the front desk was a real plus! Super personality. Manager, Cherie was also super.

Good hotel for pets. Grassy area out back and easy to access. Not the Ritz but we were not looking for the Ritz, just an overnight stay in a clean room. Nice breakfast but would have like more fruit and a better variety of yogurt

Stains on carpets and bedding. Weak breakfast. Filthy property, garbage everywhere on lawn, doorways, parking lot. It was not picked up for 3 days! Back doors propped open with rocks constantly. Smells musty/smokey through the heavy air fresheners. Before you check in, just drive around the property... what you see is mirrored on the inside. Needs MAJOR renovations & new owners/management.

This hotel needs a lot of updating. From the carpets to the walls, the atmosphere was very 70's. The room was well worn and smelled moldy. The noise from adjoining rooms was loud even though the neighbors weren't talking loudly. The front desk staff were pleasant enough. You get what you pay for. This is a low cost property, so don't expect that the ownership puts much money back into upgrading. It's the kind of hotel that I would stay at once and never return.

As soon as you drive up to the door the parking lot is in need of repair. There is potholes and loose tar all over the place. When you walk in there is a musty smell. The hall to the room is no better. The front desk had to let you into the pool area. The room did not have outlets to plug in your phone near the desk,. had to unplug the clock to use the wall outlet.

After a rocky start with making a reservation, the on site manager, Kristen, and the desk associate, Leon, went out of their way to provide great customer service. The property exceeded expectations for cleanliness and room comfort. Overall: well done!

Drug ring is being run out of this hotel! My family was threatened by the night "staff." We were told we were not allowed to leave our rooms until staff called our rooms. Rooms smelled like cigarettes, we were "stalked" per se by the male staff. My children and I definitely will NOT BE VISITING THIS HOTEL AGAIN and that's sad because we frequented this hotel at least once a month.

it was dirty , our toilet was backed up so we were affraid to use it , the fridge wouldn't get cold , and the hallway smelled like cigerette smoke it was nasty !!! the side door that we used to come in and go out of the hotel wasn't and would not lock so the key card was useless on it ! was loud with the doors slamming most of the night , but the cigerette smell was the worst !

Dirty. I don't think the main hallways have been vacuumed or cleaned in months. The rooms are mediocre at best with uncomfortable beds and bathrooms have moldy grout. The laundry room is disgusting and the dryer doesn't work. You have to use the front desk commercial dryer - which is probably why it caught fire while I was there! Evacuated at 4am for 2 hours while the fire dept dealt with it. And I still had to pay for the night! The only positive I can say is the manager is very sweet and accommodating but is clearly working with no help or resources. Don't cheap out and stay here - go to the Hampton inn. Five star because of the exceptional staff. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the breakfast area. Customers are always treated with respect and the staff's friendliness give you that homey, comfortable feeling. The hotel is older, but it is always clean, fresh and the beds are very comfortable. Good assortment for breakfast. Coffee and hot water all day which is appreciated when you are having a busy day. We have stayed here many times.

Stayed here twice and I'll never do it again. First time was a few months back and I hate to base an opinion on a single experience so I went back and it was a mistake. Both times their "Business Center" was totaly 100% not functional. 2 computers, 2 printers all not operational BOTH times! This morning a lady from the desk went to "Call Adam" for help with them and never came back. Toilet broken. Couldn't jiggle handle beacuse flapper was off one hinge. Had to reach into the tank each time. This toilet was running when I first stepped into the room so someone knew about it and left it that way. There were kids and adults basically Bowling in the hall until 11pm. A 20 minute argument/fight outside in the parking lot. This place is a total disaster. Pay the extra $40 for the Hampton Inn down the street. That's where I'll be.

Good hotel stay.. there was only one small issue with the bathroom faucet dripping in the room but they repaired it very quickly and then also gave me a 10% refund at Check-out.. which I didn't even ask for a compensation, they were just nice enough to take it off and they were apologetic for the inconvenience.. So other than that, everything was great! I was only in town for the night because of a local event.. I would definitely stay again!

Needed time to rest before having to finish my trip out of town. The receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. Did not have time to visit pool or fitness room but they both very clean and very well maintained..

Came into town to see my sister for the holiday ... wonderful place to stay... clean and friendly and close proximity to stores and restaurants. My nieces came up and we all hopped in the pool for the holiday

We just spent two nights here while doing our Thanksgiving weekend shopping. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. Very comfortable king sized bed with good linens. The bathroom is small but adequate with good quality bath towels. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of hot and cold options. Very friendly staff.

I had no problems with this place and the staff is always friendly I love using the pool and the work out room. Lots of parking great service you meet slot of new people here the staff is always nice here rooms are available and clean.

Date of Visit: Saturday, October 12, 2019. Okay - so let me start by saying - if you are reading this review - please understand I am fairly particular and also stay in a lot of hotels I disagree with a couple of recent reviews that say 'stay elsewhere' or something similar. This is a FANTASTIC place to stay. When we booked it, I just wanted a convenient and adequate hotel, as we were coming in very late, and were not staying more than just to sleep. However, upon arrival - until check out - The Best Western Lockport exceeded all expectations. In my 'special requests' section of my reservations - i always ask for extra pillows and Towels because you never know what the specific hotel has. Some are less than adequate, and others offer more than you need. Quite frankly - of all the times I have requested these items, I very rarely get them - unless I go back to the front desk and ask. When we arrived in our room, there was an extra bundle of towels and pillows waiting for us - above and beyond what is normal. The amount this hotel gives is More than enough. On this bundle was a little note saying "special request extra items". What a fantastic way to start. The pillows and towels are in good conditions, fluffy and comfortable. The beds are big and very comfortable with great linens. The wifi was free and high speed with No interruptions. There is ample parking on site. The guest services were very efficient, and expeditious. There is breakfast -with good options of eggs, meats, cereals, yogurts, and much more. i am shocked to see some really negative reviews. we had a great stay here. they went the extra mile for us, rooms were very comfortable and clean, with great linens. we visit this area a lot, and I would definitely stay here again and again.

When visiting Lockport we always stay at this location. It's ideally located to shopping, restaurants and local attractions. The staff is wonderful and the included breakfast gets you ready for the day

We stayed here for one night after a day of biking the Erie Canal trail. When we checked in we were given a friendly greeting, and our bikes were arranged to be locked up in the hotel as well. We had a double room which was large and clean. Many fresh towels and the bathroom toiletries were great!! Great location, close to downtown, restaurants and trail. Breakfast was great, many hot and choices! We would stay here again!

Rooms weren't cleaned until after 3 and only after complaint. Internet was non existent for two days and then was very slow. Can't use Netflix because they use Canadian internet provider. Rooms are dated, no bedside connections for recharging

Hotel service is by far the worst I've ever experienced...ruined what was supposed to be a beautiful day, front desk unorganized, rooms in disrepair..,,charged 25.00 more than the rest of wedding party even though they downgraded me to a queen ....worst experience at a hotel ever!

This property is a bit dated so if that is a big turn off for you, don't go. Also, there was a bit of a yuck factor in our room. The carpet felt a bit sticky at times. We attribute that to them not getting all the carpet cleaner out during the last cleaning. We found a used muffin wrapper behind a chair in the corner - yuck! The front desk clerk came down to our room and removed it. Although we did not use it, there was a nice indoor pool and the breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options for food selection. The front desk was pleasant and efficient. Location is great for accessing anything in the Lockport area.

Online hotel pictures are old and so is the property. Wall paper peeling off the wall, spots on the ceiling and the curtains did not close all the way so the room was not dark. Pool cement was lifted in areas and patches in the cement seem old as well. This hotel needs renovation and the only truly positive thing I can say is that Breakfast was very good.

Maid service is not that good does not clean the bathroom counters. Did not replace soap (but left soap scum) or shampoo etc.. Door was not secure when I came back to the hotel. Sink clogged. Problems with the TV remote.

Beside the magnificent Niagara Falls a great place to stay in Niagara Falls is this Best Western Hotel, great service friendly personnel close to everything in the Falls area and the prices also great. This hotel was recommended by Jon Martin from Norwalk Ohio who actually went out of his way to set up everything for us great job you guys.

Very clean hotel and the price was good. The trip was to drop off our son who attends University at Buffalo. The hotel is 15 minutes drive from the North Campus. The price for the hotels closer were expensive.This hotel is close to a Walmart and Tjmax, so that was amazing since the Walmart close to the campus was out of many of the supplies we needed for our son's dorm room. There are also many fast food restaurants near by.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was not a value. Rooms were not in good repair or clean. Service was not good. Unfortunate since there is not a lot hotels in Lockport NY you are stuck with poor choices.

It is an older hotel but it is kept up well and was clean. The staff was very friendly- Kristin checked us in and she was super nice. The room was comfortable- good mattresses and linens. They have an indoor pool that we did not use and a nice fitness room also. The complimentary breakfast was good and there was plenty of room for guests to sit. We were only there for one night but everything was good and the price was reasonable.

This hotel has seen better days -- little tired but it still checks all the boxes. Some fixtures in the bathroom not working but nothing that could not easily be fixed. Staff tried hard. Located well south of the downtown.

The entire staff was awesome. They were all so helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and in good condition. Great location. Only complaint was that the walls were a little thin; you could occasionally hear the neighbors in the next room. Overall it was a great stay and we will likely stay there again.

Sometimes even traveling with children you don't need the extra frills. This hotel was simple yet it met expectations. We're we're in town for the night and just needed a simple night stay. It was amazing that breakfast was included. For the price, there were no complaints

For our 3 day stay in the area this fit the bill just right. Not a lot of room to have 2 open suitcases and still have chairs to sit on but adequate. “Heated” pool wasn't so only went there once - that was disappointing as my teenaged grandson would have used it much more. Very convenient to local attractions that brought us to the area.

Hotel was clean and safe. Only issue was the thin walls- you could hear the next room quite easily. Solved this by switching AC to constant fan- it drowned out the noise completely. breakfast was very good.

I stayed here for 8 nights. It was wonderful. My 8 year old son loved it. There was an indoor pool that my son swam in almost every day. The breakfast was delicious. The service was great. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

An elderly friend with some disabilities is staying here while some work is being done on her house. The staff is very helpful and friendly. She did not have a reservation and the handicapped room was not made up when she reserved it, but they managed to have it ready very quickly. The breakfast they offer is pretty good. The pool is small but appears to be clean.

We stayed at this best western due to being close to my daughter's wedding venue it was clean beds were comfortable staff was pleasant and helpful. Very nice we had about 25 to 30 people staying there everyone enjoyed it

Spacious hotel-big lobby, meeting rooms. Big breakfast area, Has a pool-a smaller one, but no hot tub. Room was clean, but looking dated compared to say a Holiday Inn express. Good location for area attractions. Some good food choices nearby including a very good Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance. Very friendly staff.

Great Hotel nice quite location close to Lockport and the Locks and other attractions A short drive to the major shopping centers of Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Hotel has a large indoor pool for the kids. I would recommend this hotel instead of staying other buffalo area hotels.

One night is enough. Breakfast staff was nice and food average with the usual fare. Walls are very thin. The guys partying next door might as well have been in my room as i could hear every word even with ear plugs. After the second call to the front desk at 1:30 they got quiet.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel recently when we went on a bus tour of Niagara Falls. The hotel was very nice and the service was outstanding. We would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel if they are visiting the area.

Bottom line is a good night's sleep. Hallways kind curiously look like painted over wallpaper or something, but that doesn't affect the room. All staff pleasant, but the lady in the breakfast area was extremely nice. Would consider this hotel a decent value.

The staff was excellent! Bed and pillows very comfy. Breakfast was delightful! Stevie V's is a great option for a most excellent hot sub. I kept locking myself out because I would leave my key in the room. The front desk was a pleasure to deal with.

If I am being honest, this is an average Best Western. The facility is a little older, so that does come into play. The staff was friendly and the breakfast area lady stood out as extra helpful. The hallway to our room has a smell...hard to describe. I'm thinking a shampoo of the hallway carpet is In order. Thankfully, the room was fresh and clean. They don't pay much attention to the ceiling...just know that in advance. It's a bit crumbly (tiles in the bedroom), but you would not likely notice it unless you looked. The walls seem thin in that we could hear EVERYTHING from both rooms next to us. I don't even want to know what they were doing in one of those, but they were having fun! Loud, drunk, fun. I still rate the hotel 3/5. The circumstance of our stay and the neighbors we had are not likely the norm, so if you are looking for a friendly staff, great breakfast bar, and clean bedroom, this is a good choice.

I called my reservation per phone...I stay in Best Western Plus...often...on a annual basis...this motel is a comparable to all best Western Plus quality...I arrived here at 11:00-11:30 P M...the first time I ever was in Lockport New York...when I receieved my paperwork to sign...this also authorizes us to place an additional $50.00 hold on your debit/credit card...up to 10 days...I had just completed driving 600 miles...I am 72...I had a choice to find something else in this unacquainted town...if they had told me this when I called...I would have better off at Hampton Inn cost wise...this behavior I rate as a F category...

We were there for 4 nights. Everything was good. Very nice breakfast and ladies working in the breakfast area kept everything full. The room was good. Everyone was friendly to us at check-in and check-out. We enjoyed our stay there.

This motel is fine. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was nicely done and presented well. I like the fact that BW is now using paper plates and cups during the complimentary breakfast. The front desk personnel were excellent.

I am the owner of Erie Canal Bike Tours. The Best Western Lockport is our "go to place" for all of our groups when we cycle through Lockport. The rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed, and SUPER CLEAN!! The property is also very nice and well maintained, and the breakfast is great! I also have to say the staff is fantastic! Very efficient and so pleasant - and that is huge for us since we are often checking in with up to 30 cyclists. Overall a great place, a lovely stay and staff that truly go the extra mile!!

This Best Western is an ideal stopover for touring the area. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was done right. I had no problems during my stay. I would consider stopping here again when I tour the area.

A large motel, well situated along a main street, with loads of convenient parking area. The curbside handicapped spaces also thoughtfully included low walk-up ramps rather than having to step up onto an elevated sidewalk. A beautiful expansive main entrance and lobby, complete with an extra large breakfast area replete with comfortable chairs. During non-breakfast hours, large coffee urns were located in the lobby for guests to enjoy at any time. In the morning, a breakfast attendant ensured that all breakfast food containers were adequately stocked, all tables were constantly cleaned and the food area kept neat. The room was comfortable and of generous size and provided for a good nights rest. It was equipped with all amenities although it did not have a microwave. A nice feature was the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers located on the shower wall. Overall, for its price range, the motel was very good and certainly one we would not hesitate to recommend. Being of a certain vintage it may not be as soundproof as possible, but that was not really a factor during our stay. Great room, helpful and courteous staff, convenient location, good breakfast choices and a reasonable rate make this an ideal place to stay. Give it a try - it is likely you may find it as pleasant and accomodating as we did.

It would take a miracle for me to ever stay here again. It's a clean, and well cared for establishment. The staff is very friendly. The bed was very uncomfortable, but I blamed that on my bad back. I feel they don't do much to control big groups. There was at least on, maybe two big bus groups there. They every bit as loud and pushy at breakfast as they were all night. All night we heard people talking loud and doors slamming. At breakfast they we're pushy and acted like they ruled the place. I know the staff can't control everyone staying. But the problem we faced was the same as other guests. This should have been painfully clear to the kitchen, and front desk staff. If I can sleep or eat in peace then I have no interest in ever coming back.

Older hotel but kept clean. Rooms were functional but the pillows were tiny and could do with an upgrade. Air con was cold and seemed to stay cold even though I put the temperature up. Sink plug mechanism was broken also. No real major faults with the hotel except the walls seemed to be very thin for some reason. I heard lots of noise from above and next door--even just conversation and coughing.

We visited from Canada for the night and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Upon walking in, we already knew the reviews did this hotel no justice. One review said it was outdated. There was no stale smells or issues. It was clean, bright and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We checked in with a few food and shopping recommendations from the staff. Our room was very nice. It smelled of freshly laundered sheets, the bathroom was extra clean and for a hotel that's affordable and close to the ammenities you need what more can you ask? Our breakfast was decidedly one of the better that we've had at our hotel stays. Simple, clean and good. Thank you!!

Sound insulation is spotty, carpet is old, continental breakfast decent. Sheets are however clean, beds comfortable, and air conditioning properly working. Easy access to 24/7 food like McDonalds and Dennys. Overall it's pretty much what you'd expect from an older budget oriented hotel chain that's almost a motel. You can expect to sleep comfortably but not much else.

I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. The hotel was in disrepair. The room I stayed in was modestly clean. There were stains and some hair and cracked frames. The people who have rated this as a good Hotel to stay in are generous. The only good thing is that it was quiet.

Not a bad place to stay. Had a king room that came with a nice relaxing chair with ottoman along with desk and chair. Room was quiet except for being next to an outside doorway. The hallways seamed a little dim. No doubt because of choice of colors and the yellowing of ceiling light covers. Breakfast was nice and well stocked. The pancakes was nice option.

You never know with Best Westerns, some are very good, and some are well...like this one. There was some remodeling going which caused issues. The whole place had the vibe of 60s motel recently taken out of mothballs. The public areas needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was more or less par for these places, not very exciting. Bed was fine. Bathroom was very small. Shampoo, etc came from a dispenser on the shower wall giving a gymnasium feel. Staff was helpful.

I usually love Best Western but this visit was incredibly disappointing. In a nutshell, while the rooms are nice and clean and a good size, the staff is rude and the walls are like paper. You can hear everything that the people in the rooms flanking you say or do. If you want a good night's sleep you won't get it here.The pool is the colour of milk and the breakfast was pandemonium (not their fault, they had two bus tours but after a sleepless night due to the tissue paper walls, a quiet breakfast would have been a nice change.)

In a three-night stay, housekeeping visited once. Breakfast was fair. The coffee maker was missing a vital part for operation. The walls are a bit thin. The hotel could use some updating. I was constantly reminded how much better this hotel was, than the Hampton Inn...

We arrived at the Best Western to find that they had recently emptied the pool. It was way too cold for our children to enjoy swimming. Since we are locals, we had rented a room specifically for the pool. When we asked if we could just come back later in the week for a couple of hours to swim, we were told no. It seemed like very poor customer service. We had this happen once over in Niagara Falls, and the hotel had made previous arrangements for swimming with another hotel. I thought the Best Western should have offered us something. Anyone with young children knows the swimming pool is what the hotel experience is all about. It was a big disappointment to our family. We won't be recommending this hotel to anyone who comes to visit us in the future.

I've found a lot of inconsistency in the quality of hotels at this level, however, this was a pleasant surprise. It had a spacious welcoming lobby and our room was clean and functional. I would stay here again.

Looks as though the motel was updated in the past 5 years. The room was comfortable and the bathroom updated with stone countertop plus stone walls around tub. The shower made noise when hot and cold water was mixing. TV was adequate with a basic remote. Breakfast room was an ample size for almost 100 rooms, with sausages tasting good but eggs seemed powdery. Coffee was brewed a little weak and the orange juice was blended a little weak. A restful stay with limited occupancy that night.

Used points to stay over while visiting family in Lockport. Huge, former Holiday Inn, now Best Western Plus. Convenient to shopping and amenities. On busy Transit Road. Stayed here in snowy winter, hotel had only 10 guests. While facility has seen some renovations, hotel felt and looked old. Room clean, bath updated with tiny vanity. Hotels should skip tubs when renovating and install walk in showers. Bed comfortable and we did have a quiet night's sleep. Lighting was all table lamps; need overhead. Couldn't see all that well. Although room temp was frigid upon entering, we were able to warm it satisfactorily. Breakfast was standard chain hotel breakfast and not all that great. Coffee not good.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Best Western Lockport, the cleaning maids were polite and did a good job of cleaning my room, the breakfast had a variety of food and the location was quiet enough for me to sleep well at nigh. Highly recommend to anyone.

The BW Plus Lockport is a old landmark. It hasn't been upgraded in decades and continues to show its age. It is clean and dependable. Bathrooms are small. Room decor is dated and the walls are separating from the building. Reliable but dated.

The heat did not work in our room, it even snowed a bit that night, and we had air conditioning. Discovered in the am that you could not shut it down. The bathroom was not to my liking. The guest upstairs where very noisy, with banging and swearing going on. The location to stores, excellent. The beds where very comfortable, if there had been extra blankets it would of helped. I finally had to put my jacket on to keep warn

This was our 3rd 2 night stay at this very comfortable hotel. We have been staying in hotels in and around Buffalo for over 25 years and I think that this is one of the best in the medium price range. Spacious attractive lobby. Comfortable guest rooms with good décor and furnishings . Excellent king sized bed with good linens. Small bathroom but good to have the dispenser for gels in the tub/shower combo. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of hot and cold items. The Galleria and Eastern Hills shopping centres are an easy 25-30 minute drive away.

I spent three nights at this motel. I would definitely recommend it. If you are looking for brand new, this isn't the place. But if you want a clean, comfortable, and well-kept motel at an affordable price, try this motel.

My husband called and made reservations with this hotel a week and a half prior to our stay. We were coming from 4 hours away. He booked a 2 queen room. When we arrived, well after check in time, we were informed our room wasn't cleaned yet and would have to wait. They found us a "clean room" after my husband complained. when we went to the room the door was opened because the housekeeping was still working on cleaning it and it was a KING room, not a double queen like we booked. We went back to the front desk to ask for a clean room, and a DOUBLE QUEEN room like we booked. The lady informed us they had NO QUEEN ROOMS in the facility and they didn't know why the person over the phone who booked this for us didn't inform us of that. Needless to say we got our money refunded and left very upset. Being out of town, we had to then call around to several different hotels, all of which were booked because of the buffalo bills football game. We found a room finally at the Lockport Inn and Suites, which was way more money than we planned on, however, was a lovely little Inn. We were satisfied with that at least! Never again will we bother with Best Western!

The hotel overall was nice, the staff was good. It could use some minor updates. Just more outlets for charging & some lighting updates in the rooms. Bathrooms could use some updates too. A great value for the money.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and full excellent breakfast. Close to all stores, wineries and a local fun murder mystery train trip to a winery. Only a short jaunt to Niagara Falls. I would definitly book here again.

My husband and I were there to visit family and a wedding. I have bad knees and back which makes it very important that the bed and room is very comfortable for me. The hotel was located to all the different family members homes which made it very easy to get to their homes to visit!

Our family and friends travelled to Lockport for my son's wedding Sept. 2017. The whole staff at the Best Western Plus was just amazing. They help me set up a great rehearsal dinner at the hotel and suggested a restaurant to cater from. They were courteous and efficient the whole weekend. We had a huge crowd of people and there was always someone at the desk to help. Couldn't have asked for any better service. The rooms were comfortable and all the kids enjoyed pool time. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very clean, relatively inexpensive, and located only a short drive to town. The heated pool was a bonus and we took advantage! We really appreciated the layout of the hotel, with lots of parking and multiple entrances so we didn't have to walk very far to our rooms. The breakfast was standard but much appreciated as well. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Outstanding staff all around. Beautiful lobby and breakfast areas. Lots of parking with several secured outside doors so we could park at a door near our room. Room and bathroom was almost spotless... very clean and well maintained.

Without getting into to much detail, I ran into a situation where I ended up with no vehicle, no money and no cell phone. All I had was my Driver License.Thankfully someone let me use their cell phone and I was able to contact my son in Albany ( 5 hrs away ). He was able to call for a taxi and made arrangements for me to stay at this hotel. When I checked in, Pam was expecting me. I explained my situation and what a traumatic experience I had. I told her I had no money for dinner and would it be possible to charge me extra for the room on my son's card in exchange for some food money. She told me that she could not do that but she very quickly reached into her pocket and gave me the needed funds. I cannot say enough about what that meant to me at that time. I told her that I would repay her upon my son's arrival. She said it was not necessary and even though I did repay her she did this without any regard of getting repaid. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. As far as my stay, the room was clean, quiet and breakfast was plentiful. I will absolutely return when I am in that area.

I would like to recommend the hotel and their staff to families staying close to Niagara Falls. The hotel staff is very kind and my family and I had a great time. We will be staying here again on September 23rd (Conf# 380465393) and this time bringing my extended family.

When we travel in North America, we almost always stay at Best Westerns and have done so for over 20 years. We stayed at this property for a couple of nights, mainly because the room rate was lower, it was near an attraction we wanted to visit and it was a BW Plus. I'm not sure how BW arrives at its classifications, because we have had better rooms at both the Niagara Falls Summit Inn and the Inn at Buffalo Airport, neither of which is a Plus. The Trip Advisor ratings are the same for the three properties. Our Lockport room had the smallest bathroom we have encountered for quite some time - the toilet was so close to the bathtub, there was not enough space for my leg in between and there was only one bath towel per person. The hallways had a somewhat musty/chemical smell and so did our room when we arrived - certainly not fresh-smelling. My wife purchased a can of Glade air freshener to use in the room. Ventilation is not the greatest - in the morning one could smell the burnt toast from the breakfast room in the second floor hallway. Walls seemed to be thin - we could hear the neighbors talking in the evening. The hotel is also showing its age and requires some maintenance - a lot of little things. A section of floor is buckled at the pool and my wife almost tumbled. It's not all negative though: The beds were extremely comfortable and well made up. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good, typical BW hot & cold selection with a very friendly, attentive staff member on duty. All staff we encountered were very friendly - absolutely nothing to criticize there.

Loved this hotel. From check in till check out this staff could not do enough for you. Very professional and every employee was very knowledgeable about their responsibilities. I do not remember the names and I apologize for that. The one name I remember is Beverly in the breakfast area. What a smiley, helpful, caring love my job type of employee. She not only does her work the way things should be done she makes you feel like family. Thanks for making my visit complete.

This motel has one of the best Break fast and good customer service, you will experience. Staff is very co-operative and helpful. It is 30 minutes away from Niagara Falls and same from Buffalo. Plenty of eating places at walking distatnce.

I stay at a lot of Best Western Plus hotels in Canada, USA and Europe. This one would have to rank near the bottom. For starters, it is pretty old or at least the furnishings are. Unfortunately, there is carpeting everywhere and awful smells seem to love diving right into it. On the first floor, the ice machine was not working. My room had no hair dryer or micro wave oven. The bed was comfortable but I just found the room dark, dreary and depressing. The breakfast was decent and the staff was nice, but I would not return to this BW+

Room 118 was filthy and smelled strongly of urine. On the second day we asked for a different room. The front desk attendant was kind and gave us another room. While the second room didn't smell like urine, it did smell strange. Probably the dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed at.

Decent rooms, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast and most staff very friendly. Indood pool and gym both need attention. Outside of building neglected too long and needs upgrade soon. One of two computers in lobby area non-functioning.

Very pleasant stay. Unfortunately there was a rather noisy tour group there one night but overall the place was fine. The decor was refreshingly airy and a welcome change from the dark and drab colors of so many hotel rooms.

We return to this Best Western each year because it is always very clean and everyone is helpful. We never have problems. It is almost like home away from home for us. We return every year even after a new hotel was built right down the street we would not switch. The staff is great and everything is just as we would like it.

friendly, honest and caring people work at this location. I think they take pride in their work, they seem to really care about the guests and making them feel welcome. They are very helpful and polite, I found it very refreshing to feel relaxed while in a strange place.

This place was great, on a long strip road lots of stuff around, the woman at the desk told us where we could see Fourth of July fireworks without all the traffic. It was convenient to the Erie Canal locks.

The values on this deal was great. I booked three rooms for $90 for 2 nights over July 4th Weekend! The breakfast was better than expected; they continuously refilled the breakfast items. There was a pool, which is great for rainy days. Rooms were VERY clean :). Only negatives for me were the slow (barely there) wi-fi & that it is 30 min. from Niagara. You have to drive through towns; it doesn't have great access to the highway, but that is why it is so cheap. Still would recommend and plan my day around the travel time.

My wife and I had an extra day off work so we decided to start our trip to the Niagara area early. I had enough BW points for a free stay at my choice of four BW hotels within an hour of Niagara and chose Lockport. When we arrived I have to say we thought it looked a little sketchy. we were unsure if the whole building was the BW, the left end looked like an apartment building and a little dated. as we entered the lobby our opinions changed. Very nice clean lobby (maybe décor a little dated). The front desk agent was very friendly and got us checked in quick after our long 8+ hour drive. Our room was very clean with a nice bed and very nice bathroom and AC system. The only thing was the Décor but as I write this I am starting to think this is a best Western thing and not hotel specific. The breakfast area was very nice with an adequate breakfast options (once again very clean). Niagara falls is under 30min away also. So to sum it up (remember this is only a 2.5 star rated) NICE HOTEL, GREAT STAFF, GREAT STAY. Corridor had been freshly painted so the smell of paint was strong. Nothing that would have made me not stay. Everything was clean and fresh, value was good and staff was very attentitive. Would stay again

This hotel offered great sleeping accommodations. The pillow, mattress and bedding were very clean and comfortable which made for a great stay. The bathroom was up to date and I love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. This location offered a continental breakfast of a variety of selections. The sausage was delicious both mornings and the potatoes were worth a second helping. I also was pleased that the water was available all day. The staff was also accommodating with letting us eat other meals in the dinning area and using the microwave. They do have an indoor pool which I would have liked to use but I was short on time.

Old and needs renovations ....Will not be staying there at anymore baseball tournaments....on our way to our room we encountered a dirty smelly toilet plunger on the elevator...rooms were old with stained walls and dirty carpets

Well done. We were pleased with our stay, especially to courteous staff, the location of the property, access to the town and comfortable facilities. Enjoyed the open areas within the hotel and the safety of the property.

I found the front desk very helpful and offered us a toothbrush and paste as we forgot ours, the pool was clean and warm and location was peaceful I would stay here again we love the area and the peacefulness and quietness and the location has good shopping close up

Stay was not good as expected. Room was smoking. It was too late for me to change it. I opened windows full night. Batch room is tiny. Rest all was good. Breakfast was very good. My family enjoyed that.

Our family stayed in this hotel for 4 nights while visiting family in the area. It's an older hotel, but very quiet, even when there were baseball teams and tour groups staying there. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested a 2nd floor room but she was open about the large groups staying up there. She gave us the option and we decided on the 1st floor room. We had no problem with noise. The room with 2 queen beds was fairly small. The breakfast area is moderately sized but there's an overflow room that allowed extra space. The breakfast food was pretty good - pancakes, sausage, eggs, cereal, etc. Overall, I would say we'd stay there again.

The room was very clean, and even though it is a bit on the older side, everything worked, especially the A/C, and it ran quietly. A big breakfast area with lots of seating and quite a few choices. Lots of room to more around the hotel as well. The pool was smaller then some, and no hot tub, but nice just the same. Ample parking. Could use more power outlets for electronics. A good choice to be sure!

Don't be fooled by the lobby lipstick and glowing Trip Advisor reviews. This place is not worth the meager savings. Done with Best Western after this stay. After checking in and pulling around the building to access our room, we were greeted by about 6 sketchy looking characters hanging out at the end of one of the building entrances. Scenes from a barroom. Downhill from here. I am not sure what the acrid stench in the hall was, a cross between paint fumes, Fritos, and stinky feet. Pungent is an understatement. More sensory experiences awaited once in our room, as I opted to leave my shoes on after sticking to the carpet. After a quick bite out, we returned to our room for the evening. The fire dept greeted us this time. Apparently some hooligan thought it amusing to pull the fire alarm. Hours of flashing lights and a frazzled desk clerk on the edge of tears. Classy place. Unconsciousness couldn't come quickly enough, but this proved challenging with rock-hard beds and a too stuffy room thanks to a broken A/C. In addition, we could hear every syllable of conversations in neighboring rooms and from passersby in the hallway. Sound-proofing must not be in the BW building budget. In the morning, hoping to salvage something of the stay, we banked on the breakfast Trip Advisors raved about, only to be met with a bus load (or 2) of Chinese tourists. We witnessed the diners descending on the breakfast refill cart like ravenous vultures. We returned to the room to wait them out a bit. When we tried again, we found that they had all but wiped out the breakfast offerings. A pitiful vestige of half-frozen pastries, filthy serving area, and a forkless canister beckoned us to dine. An apropos ending to our worst accommodations yet. Glad to be leaving you, BW! We won't be back!

I stayed at this Lockport hotel again this last weekend while in town for business. It is always clean and accommodating, with lots of amenities you don't expect to find for under $100/night. I've also never had a problem with noisy neighbors in my hallway. They breakfast is always good, and the other "common areas" (i.e. swimming pool) are also great for the price. I enjoy this place as THE hotel to use when you are watching your wallet.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, lobby was inviting, friendly staff, nice area, lots of places to eat up and down the road within walking distance. Breakfast was good, great variety, fresh fruit every morning, coffee and tea 24/7.

We were with a group of 100 people and the hotel bent over backwards to ensure that we had a good 5-night stay. The breakfast staff were amazing. They maintained pleasant composure and were responsive when our group and a bus group converged for breakfast in a 45-min. period. The hotel is well maintained and we received good value. Management was very helpful and Beds were quite comfortable. The hotel is located conveniently for restaurants and tourist spots.

Our car club used this hotel as our base for daily car tours to visit highlights in the area. The hotel has many good restaurants nearby from fast-food to fine dining. Some of our members enjoyed the pool and workout room. Staff and accommodations were wonderful. There was one hiccup, they permitted 2 semi-trucks to park in the parking lot and the one ran its engine most of the night (varying speeds) which kept me awake most of the last night. The desk clerk did go out and talk to the driver and he'd turn it off for about 10 min. (3 separate times).

This hotel is located exactly where you want to be. Close to everything, yet just enough out of the way to not feel crowded by the "big city." The staff here is friendly, wonderfully helpful, and quite conversational. The WI-Fi is fantastic, the pool is clean (though the pool area is a bit on the cool side) and the breakfast options are plentiful, even for gluten free folks. We have stayed here before, will stay again, and recommend highly. You can tell the staff takes pride in this location.

Excellent value for your money. Breakfast was great. The room we had somewhat in doubt when in comes to cleanliness. Somewhat average in cleanliness of the room . Staff were very friendly. Good place to stay with the family.

We stayed at this BW+ for a change of scenery. We normally stay in Niagara Falls when in the area, but thought we'd check out Lockport, which doesn't have the same 'tourist trap' feel to it, and room rates to match. Cherie checked us in for our two-night stay (paid for by our BW reward points-you gotta love it!) It was a quiet weekend at this Hotel, and we had the beautiful pool all to ourselves.There is also a well-equipped exercise room on site. Our room and the common areas were very clean. There were a few minor maintenance and maintenance staff issues which I'm sure have been resolved. One pet peeve- the shampoo/conditioner/wash gel dispenser in the shower. Please remove and mail back to 1965. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations, and the lady in charge pampered us. She's a 'keeper'. There isn't a restaurant on site, but there are eateries of every type and description within a very short walk or drive. If you like to check out the countryside, take a drive through Olcott and Lewiston, following the shore of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River, a short distance away.This is a very historic and picturesque area of the region. The Erie Canal is also a stones throw away. This Hotel is perfectly located for a day trip starting point. It's close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, which is great. Check it out.

The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. They were eager to help in any way the could. If I am ever there on business again, it will be my first choice. The location was perfect and it was centrally located for the purpose of my trip.

The hotel was very quiet and clean. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and well presented. We were there on a very cold , windy night and found it difficult to keep the room warm. (This was not mentioned to management as we were just spending oe night there. Overall, I would still stay there again.

Hotel lobby displays some elegance. Breakfast and Beverly, the service staff, were fabulous. Cherrie (F/D) was helpful and friendly. Bed, duvet and pillows were comfy. TV channels were not working as against the list. Room was good. The Jennifer (F/D) was not helpful. The GM was great.

Front desk lady in the shift was very cordial and very helpful. When inquired about the Local Tours, she took personal interest in finding few Tour providers and in fact she personally reached out to me and explained different options, which was very helpful. I didn't have any bad experience during my stay and overall stay was exceptionally cool. Mr.David, General Manager of the facility was equally helpful and professional.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Lockport, NY while attending a funeral in the area. The front desk staff was helpful, efficient, and made us feel welcome. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable. I would have rated the hotel excellent but for a few minor glitches in that the tissue dispenser and the shower wash dispenser were empty, although these issues were quickly resolved by the exceptional front desk staff. If I ever stay at a Best Western Plus hotel again, I would bring my own shampoo and conditioner since the provided amenities were of poorer quality. Also, as senior citizens, we found the entrance to the hotel very difficult to find and navigate at night. The best part of our stay was the amazing breakfast. Although the hotel states that it has a continental breakfast, it is much more than that. There is a warm breakfast with some of the best food I have ever had at a free hotel breakfast. You have to try the pancake maker. Pancakes are made individually (very quickly) with your choice of syrup, whipped cream, blueberries as toppings. They are amazing. Yum, Yum, Yum. There were also omelets, sausage, potatoes as well as the usual pastries, toaster items, cereal, juice, yogurt, etc. We would stay at the Best Western Plus again just for the breakfast!

Exceeded our expectations!!! The staff were pleasant and helpful. Neat, clean, and nicely decorated room plus a great breakfast in the morning. We will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

Wanted a place to stay in Lockport as we had a tour at the Underground cave and along the Erie Canal Locks. This was perfect and we had enough points for a free stay. The room was bright and cheery, very comfortable bed. Nice shower. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were all very nice. I especially liked that there was a door separating the guest rooms from the lobby. Makes for a more quiet experience. I also liked that they had smaller carts for luggage like at the airport. Much easier to manage. Nearby Walmart and other shopping and fast food.

I like the breakfast area in this hotel because there are lots of tables around and very easy to get a seat, the breakfast items are good, and the hostess in the breakfast is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, will consider to stay in this hotel if traveling around this area.

Stayed here with my husband and kids on our way to Niagara Falls. The woman who checked us in was pleasant. We stayed on the first floor. The hallways were quite dark. The room was a standard room, but not as clean as I would prefer. The bed was quite uncomfortable as well. My children were hoping to use the pool, but it was murky so we didn't chance it. Breakfast was fine.

Having stayed at other Best Western properties with good experiences we choose this property because of its advertised value and close proximity to our destination, Niagara, Falls. We were not pleased with the stained carpet and lack of cleanliness ( vacuuming, unclean windows ) in the entryway and hallway to our 1st floor room, however the lobby was clean and staff courteous upon check in. Room cleanliness was poor and remained so even after reporting to the desk! We would not stay there again!

Mismanagement is the biggest problem along with broken equipment in the gym and issues with billing. The staff at the entrance don't know what they're doing or the hotel manager. The cleaning staff are very nice, but they don't clean until 7pm when you're back in your room and want to rest. The front desk told me it's because they often quit... well then pay them more! They're the most important staff in my opinion when I'm staying in a hotel.

We stayed 2 nights here for a wedding and a visit to Niagara Falls. Clean, decent breakfast (out of coffee both mornings though). TV remote broken..but didnt ask to be fixed. Quiet, clean room, good climate control. Would stay here again.

Stayed overnight after a quick trip to a couple of wineries on the lake. Room was very clean and also very quiet. Only thing wrong was shampoo dispenser in the shower was almost empty. Would come back again

The General Manager, David, was so caring and understanding! Beverly, in the breakfast area, is a true credit to this facility. It shows in everything she does. She also makes all the table decor. So talented! We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to this area! My husband, an Army Colonel even agrees and he is difficult to please!

We were exhausted when we arrived late at night driving there form Northern Kentucky. We were told that the price of one night stay would be about $80.00. Turns out we did not read what we signed. The bill was $116.00 before they added the NYS Room Tax which was $9.36 and the Bed tax was another $4.86 bringing the total to $131.03. When I spoke with the front desk person in the morning she showed me the paper that I had signed...$116.00. We though that the breakfast was to be open until about noon. We probably misunderstood. There was free wifi in the room. Our view was of a brick wall. Beware!

Was an ok stay.But felt we paid more than what it was worth. Were told we had to pay for an excutive suite....and it was not any different than a regular room we normally pay around $100 for. We were told they were all booked up and that was all that was left but there were not hardly any cars in the parking lot.

First, let me say that I believe the "small things" are what pretty much makes or breaks a business. The big, obvious things are pretty easy to get right and to stay on top of, but the small things paint a much better picture of the quality of a business and the attitude of the owner and staff. I booked this hotel for our stay in Lockport because the nearby choices were few and the overall reviews were pretty good. My first red flag was when we arrived and my wife, a native of the area, recognized the hotel as being one that had changed hands several times over the years. The exterior, grounds, and common areas all appeared clean and kept up and we were greeted by a very nice young lady at the desk who checked us in. The issues began when we opened the hall door to our first floor room behind the front desk area and were greeted by a hospital-like odor and noticed the very poor and sloppy paint work on the door frames. When we entered our room, the odor was, again, not unpleasant but very hospital-like with another odd odor we couldn't identify, nothing we couldn't live with for a night. The room itself, at first glance, appeared clean and somewhat updated except for the closet which appeared to have been forgotten when the last update was done... door missing with a curtain for a replacement, chipped paint, rusty bar, cord for iron not stored, etc. We also discovered the lamps apparently had not been dusted for several months. It wasn't until the next morning that I discovered the coffee maker had apparently also not been cleaned in several months, if ever...thick mineral buildup in reservoir and the same, along with dried coffee stains, in the pod holder(see attached pictures). I accidentally discovered at least part of the reason the coffee maker wasn't cleaned, it was secured to the cabinet by a clamp holding the cord so the machine could not be taken to the sink for cleaning. Again, these are all small things but they add up and definitely give a very poor impression of the staff and management. We discovered that a Hampton Inn had opened the day we arrived and was $10.00 per night cheaper so we decided to go ahead and stay at the Best Western Plus for the first night but cancel our second night. I was told by the desk clerk that would not be a problem but they would have to go ahead and put the charge through for the second night and it would later drop off our credit card(made no sense but hotels tend to have some strange accounting policies sometimes). When we got back home from our trip, I discovered that they had not only charged my credit card, which was used for the booking but changed to another card upon check in and should not have been charged for anything, let alone for two nights, but had also charged my wife's credit card, the one we authorized at check in, for two nights. At the time of this review, we are waiting to see if the charges drop off my account before calling the hotel, but they still should never have been made in the first place, one more reason for you to be wary of booking with this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel two separate times during vacation. !st was excellent; very comfortable, nice clean room. 2nd stay was in a different room (probably older part of hotel) beds very comfortable but room could use a little tlc and the bath tub had no stopper.

This hotel had a good location. You could walk to places to eat. It was close to the canal rides. It was a basic hotel, nothing stood out as being outstanding. It could use more updating. The breakfast was average. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, person in charge of breakfast area had great interpersonal skills.

I want to recognize Beverly, who provided breakfast. She was constantly alert to customer needs. As entered the dining area she immediately asked to fill my water bottle and offer coffee to an elderly woman. She was constantly on the run, always smiling and making friendly comments. She even tried to use Japanese words with some foreign clients. Cudos to Beverly

A dump! This hotel is very over priced and out dated. The walls are paper thin and the people in the next room were talking until 1:00 am when they then turned on the TV. I could hear everything they were saying. The room was small and dark and the bathroom was tiny. The faucet leaked like a shower, there were no extra blankets in the room, and the pillows were flat and old.

Staff was more than accomodating to make sure our stay was pleasant. Easy access to facility, Reasonable price, good breakfast, clean rooms, facilities and grounds. Plenty of dining choices in the area. Will be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. Coffee was good. Hallways could've been swept. Bathroom was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. They need real curtains to block the lamplight outside. Had trouble sleeping.

Way overpriced for 1 night. While the room was adequate there was no ironing board. Ice machine was a task to find and hallway door was creaky and I could hear it every time someone entered or left the wing. Do yourself a favor and price shop. cost me 167.00 for the night and only stayed there because of wedding group discount which I have no idea actually existed. You could do better at a motel for a lot less.

Spent two nights here and found the place to be "okay". It's an older building but well taken care of and it seems like they have done some renovations recently. The staff was friendly. The location is pretty good but it can be tricky turning out of the parking lot into the main road due to all the traffic at times. Our room was clean but I did notice a layer of dust on the head board of the bed. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain was falling apart. All in all this hotel was fine but you can tell they don't have much competition to make them try harder.

Our room was clean and very nice & the staff was very professional . The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options to choose from . I would recommend this Hotel for anyone if you want to have a good experience and a great nights rest .

This hotel had a serious security issue causing me to leave in the middle of the night. I requested a refund because of the lack of security, was promised the same but received NOTHING. The lack of security is a serious problem. Even management knew security doors were being blocked open with things such as stone, beer cans littered the rear entrance area, beer cases where used as seats nothing was done. Not feeling safe of allowing who knows who to roam the halls I left the hotel. Never have I seen a Best Western with such conditions.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Apparently there was an issue with the pancake/waffle maker, but they had french toast sticks available, so the kids were still pleased ;) Perfect location!! Close enough to all the attractions we wanted to visit, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

Clean accommodations! Comfortable beds and decent breakfast. Staff is great. Best hotel in area. Pool is wonderful. My family and friends stayed here to attend my son's wedding. Everyone had a wonderful stay at this Best Western Plus.

Best Western is the no. 1 hotel on Transit St, I have stayed at another hotel on Transit St. (not good) the other I checked in looked at the room, then checked out quickly. The atmosphere at Best Western is so pleasant

My family and I traveled to Lockport, NY to visit Niagara Falls, New York. We were extremely pleased with the hotel and the services received. The breakfasts were fabulous. Be sure to check out the pancake machine! My daughter's vacation breakfast of choice were pancakes with whipped cream and chocolate chips! The pool was clean and stocked with towels. The check in and check out process was easy and those at the front desk were friendly. We had an issue with housekeeping leaving our door open one day. I immediately reported it to the front desk and then spoke with the GM when I checked out. The issue was taken care of immediately. The hotel is approx. 30 minutes to the Falls and very close to the Erie Canal! We enjoyed exploring the town of Lockport, as well.

Staff and breakfast were wonderful, i.e., pleasant, helpful, always smiling. Was surprised by the sounds that penetrated the room. I know you can't control guests' noise, but this was normal conversations and foot traffic. We'd stay again, but I think I'd ask for a different room.

My wife and I looked for a pleasant getaway to celebrate our 55th anniversary. Ideally this would be within a two hour drive. This hotel satisfied our needs with good restaurants and shopping within a reasonable distance.

The wife and I stayed here 4 nights in a row as we had some things to take care of nearby. The hotel staff was outstanding. They were all friendly, helpful, and every single person who worked here would greet you if you passed in the hallway. Breakfast was the typical standard offerings that is typical of any chain hotel, so nothing special or surprising in that regard. I am deducting one star for the lack of upkeep for this hotel. It must be known that while there is a lot of upkeep that needs to be done, it had absolutely no negative outcome on our experience. I am noting it here on TripAdvisor simply because these reviews are generally seen by management. Although spotless and impeccably clean, out room was showing its wear and tear. There were paint chips taken out of furniture and the bottom edges of the doors of our room. Specifically the shower wall had mildew stains everywhere, and the shower curtain was ripped and torn in several places. Again, not a big deal to us, but somebody is bound to notice and make a big deal out of it. The hallway was another matter. There were scratches all down the walls as if Edward Scissorhands had been playing in the hallway. Also the carpet had small bits of garbage scattered all over the place. Again, no big deal to us, but it is worth noting. All things considered, I would stay here again if I were to be in the area.

I stayed at the hotel for five nites with a group of 54 people from Elite Tours. The staff and breakfast were great. They went out of their way to make sure our stay there was great. I will be returning in Aug with a large group from Elite Tours. I highly recommend this hotel I rate it as a 10 Joyce Smart Tour Guide for Elite Tours

Have been here before, not sure if its got better or just another room to stay in. Had a few issues that were taken care of, and they comped me one night with out me asking for an adjustment. Not too many choices in the area, so for now its still my choice to stay here.

Great Hotel with excellent staff! Wonderful breakfast and especially clean rooms. I felt like I was being spoilt by a great group of friends and family. This is a great place to stay being away from home when visiting Buffalo and the Niagara Falls. Excellent tourist stop if you are also visiting Canada.Totally recommend this hotel to everyone!

This is our first stay in New York and to Niagara Falls.The hotel is very clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and rooms are nice and clean. Internet and breakfast are good as well. I have no complaints at all and would stay here again.

We were in western NY for a family reunion and several of us stayed here. From check-in to check out, we were treated so well. The staff is terrific and very helpful, the rooms are clean and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. There was a tour bus that visited as well during our stay, and the breakfast crew did a tremendous job keeping up with the constant clean up and refilling the chafing dishes. We will certainly return.

In Los Angeles I rise at 11am for my day. I was at the buffet at 6am (3am my time) and it was full of variety and quality. Spent a lot of time in the indoor pool and it was amazing! The room (110) was so clean fresh and comfortable I hated to leave.The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel dispenser was awesome. I was here 4 days with part of my family. we had 6 rooms. I hate to leave but must return to a responsible like in Los ANgeles! is 6 starts out of the question?

Great hotel located near Niagara Falls in the beautiful city of Lockport New York. David the manager takes very good care of the hotel and gives it a personal touch. The hotel is kept clean and fresh. I would give this one a three thumbs up. Since we have been running the conference center here for about six years now the new management took over about three years ago has really done amazing job nice pool and facilities

Wanted to take the time to let everyone who is thinking about booking a room from the Best Western Plus hotel in Lockport, NY know that I checked into room 201 on Friday the 22nd and immediately got my son into the shower to turn around and see my 2 year old standing next to an open refrigerator with a HYPODERMIC NEEDLE filled with 5 cc's of God knows what. Upon further complaint I was reluctantly given my $86 dollars back and then told that the manager of the hotel had personally examined the room on March 27th and found nothing in it at all. Furthermore, he stated I was the only one to rent it out and without saying so, STRONGLY insinuated that maybe I had placed it there myself. Totally inappropriate treatment of a guest by not even attempting to apologize and then insinuating that I would make this up for fun, complete lack of compassion and understanding, and absolute lack of quality training if indeed the staff is not checking all areas of the room before re-renting it, or worse, going into the rooms sporadically to eat lunch and get high. Highly disappointed....

The reception team is very supportive. I appreciated the promptness to provide me a brush/ice scraper. I was not expecting snow and ice during my stay in Lockport, and the rent-a-car didn't provide it. Thanks

The staff at Best Western Lockport were more than accommodating during my stay at their hotel. Also, their prices are hard to beat. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay at a hotel with superb amenities and customer service at an a great price.

Everything about this hotel was great! I couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the accommodations. Comfortable room, very clean, and most of all friendly and efficient staff that helped us to really enjoy our stay. The breakfast that was served each morning was very good. Best price in town! Had to stop by the area for a night, on my way travel to Canada. Honestly with this price, I wasn't expecting much more than a 3 star hotel, Check in and out are smooth, room are clean, beds are comfortable, great complementary breakfast, That's all I'm looking for! Had a great stay at Best Western Lockport!

I have stayed at the property for my two days trips. it was impressed me that how nice their front desk lady is!!! when I got into the room which is in the back of hallway, it was quiet and clean. I enjoy the trip petty much.

We had to be up in the area Buffalo/Niagara Falls for a new business venture and we didn't want to spend a fortune so we chose this property. From the front desk to the breakfast and most comfortable bed, our stay there was exceptional. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay!!

Conveniently located near the Niagara Falls and Eerie Canal attractions. Accommodations were good, and the people were wonderful. Breakfast was great with a good selection. I felt very comfortable here and enjoyed our visit. I would stay again!

I wouldn't normally give this hotel a '5', because it is not a luxurious place. But for the price, it cannot be beat! I got my reservation on a common hotels website, and paid less than $80 for a really nice room that offered me everything I needed. Neat, clean, comfortable, and more. The breakfast buffet (which I did not use this time) is also more than enough, with a wide array of breakfast items to satisfy almost anyone. I did have a loud family nearby my room, but they didn't really bother me. They were only noisy around checkout time. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for the value and price.

When looking for a place to stay in the area, there were not a lot of options. This place is only a 3 star but staying here for 3 nights we realized that this hotel had 4 star service and a very good breakfast especialy for the price. Everything was also very clean. Check in and out was very easy and mentioning to my wife about getting a bottle of wine they offered an wine bottle opener. When we were getting read to leave the day Manager offered to print our boarding passes. When is the last time somebody did that? They had a variety of breakfast items and the attendant made sure everyone had everything they needed and took completed plates away! I guess this is what you would call above and beyond expectations. I highly reccomend this hotel.

Visiting family in the area, we were hoping for something that would be clean and nice. This hotel was much more. Very clean, well maintained, and apparently recently updated. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, the usual choices, but in a bright and cheerful room and it was well stocked every time we were in there. The room was very clean and updated, with a desk area and a couple of chairs. The bed was, happily, comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Best Western Lockport is a very good option if you are staying in the Lockport, NY area. Rooms are clean and nice décor. Bathrooms a little out dated size of room is average. Very nice continental breakfast, nice pool area for kids. The price for the room was a good value after checking other options. I will stay again here if I am in the area.

Just a quick overnight stay, but super friendly staff and very clean rooms. The breakfast was quite good and not your usual toast and coffee. Eggs, Sausage, French Toast, Pancakes, Muffins, Bagels, Juice, Fruit. Great spread and the lovely lady that looks after the breakfast area is super nice. Indoor pool and gym as well. Would stay again for sure.

Nice enough in all regards except for lack of soundproofing between rooms. We were in town for a funeral and got little sleep due to...literally...all night partiers in next room. They were still going strong at 8 am!

Decor needs a little refreshing but a great/clean hotel. The staff (and there aren't many!) were so pleasant and did everything to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was good and the woman (Beverly I think her name was) worked her butt off to keep it stocked and clean. We would come back again simply because of the great staff.

We stayed here 6 nights November when visiting family over Thanksgiving. It's a great option for us and the standard of the hotel is good. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend it and we will definitely stay here next time we visit Lockport!

I stayed at this hotel as the sewing seminar I attended was located here. It was an excellent experience. Hotel staff was friendly and professional, and the hotel was very neat and clean. Breakfast each morning was an added plus. I will consider staying at a Best Western in the future.

Breakfast was great prepared by Beverlyjo who was looking after in this area (excellent job). The night FD was good and efficient. On the other hand, I was shocked to get a room with many grab bars plus a shower seat in the bathroom upon checked in. I immediately reported it and explained to the FD that this is very insulting as we're not handicapped and old. I did not ask for it/them prior to booking over the phone. I was about to cancel but the FD found a replacement, a better one. No idea whether the FD knew about the bathroom. I would give her the benefit of the doubt. Overall, the hotel is nice except that there's no sauna and hot tub to complement the swimming pool and fitness center. Other Bestwestern locations do.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights(Nov 27 & 28th) and had a very good experience. The lobby reception area is very spacious and attractively decorated. Our room with 2 double beds was very comfortable. The beds were excellent and the linens and towels were very good. The bathroom is small but adequate. Nice to have a dispenser for gels and shampoo above the tub. The buffet breakfast offered a very good selection. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, good beds/pillows/linens (holiday inn branded bedding :) ) and a better breakfast than the Hilton I had stayed at the night before. Rooms had been remodeled in the past (probably when still a HI), but design flaws of no soundproofing between rooms can be an issue for lighter sleepers. Basic noise can be heard from adjoining rooms (regular conversations, tv, taps/toilet).

While passing through New York on my way to Canada, my fiance and I stopped at this particular Best Western to spend the night. We've stayed in other Best Western hotels in and around the area, but this particular location definitely exceeded our expectations. For one thing, the hotel is visibly quite new. The furniture in the lobby and breakfast areas is in excellent condition and the carpet is clean throughout. The room itself (a King-sized bed in the "executive wing") was generously sized and was in immaculate condition. My one complaint is that the 40" TV was a bit of a waste given the fact that the hotel did not seem to have an HD signal. Despite my initial concern that this hotel appeared to be situated among strip mall after strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that downtown Lockport is a mere mile and a half away. When we drove into town for dinner, the drive only took about 5 minutes. The complimentary breakfast is about the same that you can expect from other hotels in this price range (pastries, overcooked eggs, etc.) with one notable exception. This particular location features a one-touch pancake machine! You read that correctly, if you want a pancake for breakfast, all you have to do is press a button! Sure, the pancake comes out a little flat and rubbery, but it's still pretty cool. I haven't stayed at any other hotel in Lockport, but given my first impression, I'll certainly stay here again the next time I find myself back in town.

Got a good deal on a King bed room by calling the hotel directly. Stayed 2 weekend nights. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday...the girl at the desk seemed to think our room was not ready...quite upsetting after an hour drive...and a parking lot with only a handful of cars!! Lobby was beautiful. Our room was very tiny. Bed comfortable. Linens very nice. Thick towels. Room and linens smelled very nice. Nice sized tv. Heating/AC very efficient. No plug for bath tub...disappointed I could not soak in the tub. Breakfast was pleasant...and free. All and all a nice place...will use this facility again if we get another great price!!!

Even with a noise issue, this was the best hotel to stay at in Lockport. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Niagara Falls is about 1/2 hour away, there are wineries close by, the Erie Canal is close and a great ice cream shop, Lake Effect Ice Cream, is to die for.

We had to be in town for a few days for a family emergency. This hotel was affordable and clean! The only complaint was there are no microwaves in the rooms. Other than that....it was perfect for our needs! The breakfast in the lobby was well above average for this type of hotel. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location is on the main street of Lockport. Easy access to restaurants and hospitals. We will definitely staff here again!

watch out my fellow field service engineers they will hit your cc with taxes and cleaning fee the hotel was not clean exterior interior was ok but dated room was terrible smelled had to request sheets the ones on the bed were stained the carpet in rooms is worn out i did not feel my vehicle was safe and the hallway smoke alarms were going off every 15 minutes through out the hotel

We used this hotel for a visit with family nearby. The hotel was clean and employees friendly. They had us on second floor, upon arrival I asked for first floor and they made it possible. At four in five in the morning, check out was a little slow. Only bad thing I can really say about this hotel is, that you can hear the neighbors when they get a little carried away.

Nice hotel. People are very accommodating. The hot breakfast is good with plenty of table space. Like the pancake maker and the lady in charge of breakfast. Very warm, lovely lady! The rooms are clean and spacious but a bit dated. Stayed 2 nights. Would stay again.

Great value. Loved the king bed and the bathroom was very nice. Was in town for a wedding and the other hotels didn't serve breakfast so that's why we picked here. Well worth the extra few dollars. Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast attendant lady was very energetic, even at 6am!

This was a three night stay and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the accommodations. Comfortable room, very clean, and a friendly and efficient staff helped us to really enjoy our stay and not worry about anything. The breakfast that was served each morning was well stocked, and offered in a very clean breakfast room. There was even plenty of USA Today newspapers to go around! Definitely will stay here again.

We only stayed here one night on the ways to Niagara Falls which isn't far from there is you wanted to use Lockport as a base. The rooms were a goodsize and bathroom too. Desk, drawers iron etc all provided. Furniture dark. Rooms were quiet. We had a downstairs rooms easy accessible from a carpark around the side instead of having to walk through the lobby. A good size indoor poor and fitness centre walking up the hall to the breakfast room. Good hot coffee to drink there or take away, juices, toast, pancakes, cereals, eggs and sausage. Topped up regularly. Plenty of tables

This hotel has everything you could want, an indoor pool, a fitness room, good sized rooms, very clean, and close to all local attractions. Has plenty of parking and you can walk to a couple of restaurants. There is a shopping mall just down the road where you can get supplies. As a bonus Lockport is only about 30minutes from Niagara and the falls and about the same to Fort Niagara.

Lockport has a lot to offer and this hotel is a good location to visit. Facilities are a bit dated, but there is a great gym room & pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included but stick to the basics! Pass on the powered eggs and so so sausage. Rooms are clean, but decor needs upgrading! TV & wifi work just fine.

A great place to stay and very clean too. Front desk was very helpful in helping us find a place to eat nearby. The pool was a small but was nice. Beds were very comfortable too. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was very good.
