Best Western Plus Montezuma Inn & Suites

I have not left a review on this site for several years, and never a bad review, but my experience at this hotel certainly deserves one. We checked in around 10:30 pm and started settling down in our room. After a few minutes we noticed the room had not been clean. There were used towels hanging in the bathroom, the soap had been unwrapped, one of the beds was partially unmade and the garbages were not empty. My wife called down to the front desk and the person working there stated that they were completely booked and had no rooms to move us to, but would call his manager and determine a game plan. He came up a few minutes later and we showed him the room and he said they were able to find another room but it was a single King rather than two queens. Not ideal but we were traveling with our young son so we were able to share a king with him. He also told us twice that the room would be comped. He was very courteous and sympathetic to our situation. When we went to check out the next morning however, my wife quickly explained the situation the situation to the manager at the front desk and wanted to verify we were going to be comped. We were immediately met with an antagonistic attitude from the manager who told us "We are not going to comp the room" without apology for our troubles. She went on to say that she never told the clerk to comp the room and he had no authority to make that decision. She was only going to give us a $30 discount for our troubles. Eventually we ended up with a $50 or $60 discount but it was so frustrating. In all my years of traveling I have not stayed at a hotel that showed such a lack of customer care at every level. The only exception was the overnight employees who checked us in and helped up resolve our situation. Even if they misspoke or misunderstood about comping our room, they still showed concern for our situation.

Stayed here with my wife one night while traveling. Hotel seemed fairly new and had a good breakfast. Check in and out was easy. Hotel had an indoor pool and hot tub. We used saved points to pay for the room. Hotel was just off the highway, and in a safe area towards the edge of town. Bed was very comfortable. Room clean.

We had a great stay and the best service. We were in town for a funeral and everyone was so accommodating. Breakfast was served on time and everything was so clean and inviting. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again soon.

From what we heard from others, this has been a long time issue. I booked based on them being listed as amenities, because they're not working is why I gave low rating. I think room rates should be discounted until they are repaired.

I really appreciated that this Best Western hotel noted our need for a first floor accessible room when we booked. We have had other hotel chains that took notes but never followed through. Thank you!

The night woman working the front desk was exceptionally friendly and was great to talk to. The room didn't have shampoo or conditioner. There was hair in the sink and the bed was wrinkled and wasn't made correctly. Only one towel was given and it had a hole in it. I was only there to get some sleep before finishing my drive back to work with a quick shower.

I was a long term stay (10 weeks) for work and these guys made me feel very welcomed. The room was cozy, clean and smelled fresh. I slept well. Breakfast buffet was kept clean with a rotating menu. Invoice was accurate, micro & mini fridge worked well. Fresh fruit was offered 24/7.

This place is a life saver! Me my daughter and grandson broke down in their parking lot and they have found room for us 2 nights in a row after our original booking! Christina is amazing at her job as well as so kind! We appreciate all the help they give! All the staff is friendly its clean and so cozy! This place will be our first choice from now on!

I made reservations several weeks in advance and was rudely told there were no accessible rooms at time of check in.(4:00pm) The pink haired girl was rude and unprofessional and snottily called me, Ma'am over and over. Someone replied to my google review and claimed tiles were broken in that room. One would think the girl would have known that and told me or I would have gotten a phone call before arrival. Terrible and unacceptable service, especially for someone in a wheelchair to try to find a room last minute. You should be ashamed.

This BW Plus is top drawer and then some...very clean and updated. The beds and pillows are super comfy. I was also impressed with the breakfast selections available. Ryanm was especially helpful when we checked in. This hotel will definitely be on our list for future road trips.

Some small problems but resolved quickly. Plenty to eat at breakfast and actually very good and fresh food. hot tub was out and i had asked about a day earlier if it was working and was told yes. main consideration but it was not working. they had us go next door to the other hotel and that was fine. put us in a room that had people already in it, surprise! we were able to go into another room. besides the herd of elephants above us and the kid who woke us up at 630am because he was going to the wrong room with his breakfast, all was pretty good.

Nice place to stop on a long drive. We stopped here on the way to Taos Ski Village. The rooms we got were both clean and the beds were comfortable. Met all the requirements of a quick one night stay. The had dogs rooms which was great, that room was clean as the non dog room. The place could use a little TLC but nothing major.

I needed a stop on way to AZ. This worked out great. Right off the highway but quiet. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Clean and safe. Parking is free and had a little free breakfast to get me started in the morning. Gas station a block away.

I arrived at this hotel at 7:30 pm after a hard days 12 hour drive, with my wife and five dogs after making a pre-paid reservation, about one month earlier. The desk clerk had no record of the reservation, and when shown the reservation on my phone, called the manager of the hotel. The clerk returned and advised that they had cancelled the reservation that morning because they had no pet rooms left. After a discussion with the desk clerk, she eventually advised that the manger was on the way to talk to me. The manager showed up and immediately took me

About the best thing I can say about this place is that its not the worst place. In general, this is a pretty run-down property where the owners/management do not put much $ back into the place. Its older and it shows. Bathroom and carpets show all the wear. Stuff's broken: the pool was out of order, even the elevator button was marked "do not push." Needs a good cleaning, but that's not going to be in their budget here either. Would not return.

The room was pleasant and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. We appreciate hotels that just smell clean and not like the inside of a bottle of disinfectant. The bed was comfortable. The shower had great water pressure.

We stopped here for a night on our way to Phoenix with two small dogs. The hotel was conveniently located. The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were appreciated (fridge, microwave). There's no convenient place to walk the dogs for potty but it can be figured out. Overall, it was a well-cared for hotel and that is reflected in the guest experience. Definitely recommend!

This is a nice, quiet, clean hotel. The staff is super helpful and friendly. You will not be disappointed with the breakfast selections either. The room had plenty of space for all of our luggage and belongings. The bathroom was well lit and clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows! Most places you have to have your own pillows because they are flat. I did not need my own pillow because these pillows stayed fluffy! You should definitely stay here when in Las Vegas, NM.

My wife and I arrived around 5pm. We were greeted right away. Both check in, and check out, went very well. We had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the front parking lot. The hotel itself was very clean and nice looking. Our room was clean, comfortable, and looked and smelled good. Quite spacious. It was very welcoming. Everything worked well. The beds were very comfortable. We did not notice any outside noises during the night, and all was quiet around us. The breakfast area was large, and the breakfast itself was very good. Several hot offerings too. We did not go away hungry. We had a great visit, and if in the area again, I would certainly stay once more.

We did not get the room we reserved (with a walk-in shower), but the room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Heater did not blow warm air on any setting, and we were cold in the night, but there were no extra blankets. To be fair, I did not report this at the time. The bathroom had a tub with a seat, instead of a walk in shower, and the controls for the hand held shower head were not installed correctly. This meant my friend could not reach them, so didn't have the chance to shower. Breakfast looked good,, but we ate elsewhere. Employees were very friendly, and expressed regret that the stay was not "perfect." But, all in all, I would stay there again.

This place is great all housekeeping is nice and friendly front desk ladies Christina very nice and helpful love there breakfast I would definitely refer people to this hotel,the rooms are spacious and very clean .

Really nice staff , great place when traveling back to AZ , this is our half point and we always choose this place we love it here. Everyone is friendly.We will not stay any place else. Jesus the young man who works maintenance is very helpful. He helped my husband carry our luggage in. Thank tou Best Western staff

Was the best nights stay we have ever had! Amazing staff at the front desk, so kind and helpful in the morning! They made our stay amazing!! Great rooms! Comfortable and up to date! They make Best Western look good!

Got to the hotel and front desk people were awesome at accommodating me from the top floor to the ground, breakfast was awsome had a variety,, my favorite biscuits and gravy, do recommend this hotel anyday

We checked in on December 29th for one one night. Upon check-in we were given room 111. We looked at the room as it was right next to the back door on the ground level and asked the night manager if we could get a room on an upper floor. He said "this is the only room I have". Entire night the back door kept banging against the lock as people went in and out to smoke. My kids kept waking up every 20 mins due to the loud noise. Then in the morning people used the back door to take their dogs out. Needless to say we had a miserable sleepless night. The hotel was a disaster. Then in the morning during check-out I mentioned this to the manager on the front-desk who said "You should have never been given that room. We always have a lot of issues back there. I always tell people that those rooms are not the best". I was like "EXACTLY". Offcourse no one cared to tell us anything. The manager promised me a "full refund" through Expedia. Offcourse no refund showed up. When Expedia called the hotel they said "the person was a night auditor and was not authorized to issue a refund". That's it. I am so disappointed in complete lack of customer service from Best Western. They were not honest and didn't care for the customers experience.

Everything was just ok. The room was fine, but not worth the price. Breakfast was very limited with not enough space or items for the size of the hotel. As a result, the coffee, pancakes, juice, and yogurt ran out in the 10 minutes I was there. The workers were running their tails off trying to keep up (but did a great job).

Check in was quick and courteous, the room was very nice and had a microwave and mini refrigerator. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Special Thanks to Debbie Coca in the breakfast are for beginning our day with good cheer and kindness

We chose this hotel because the reviews promised a neat, clean, and easy experience. We were not disappointed! Checking in was easy and fast, and staff were all very polite t us after a long day on the road. The room was tidy and fresh smelling, and the bed very comfortable. Check out was a breeze, and again staff were polite and helpful. Would book again if we find our way out there again!

I stood at the desk and waited for the like 15 minutes before anybody came out of the office to check me in. He was talking on the phone about stuff not related to work at all. Then we get to our room after waiting about 30 minutes to get checked in and find only a couple of hand towels when I was about to give my daughter a bath. So my husband asked the guy at the front desk for more and he was rude to my husband. So I will never stay at this specific best western again.

We pass through Las Vegas frequently but have always stayed elsewhere. We are converts to this Best Western. Room was spacious, well appointed, (sitting area, work desk, fridge, bar sink and microwave. Road noise is often an issue in Las Vegas. Not here. Very quiet in room 326!

The hotel staff was was exceptional and went out of their way to make my stay superb! The breakfast was excellent and the green as red chili was a nice touch and very delicious! The room was clean and quite and I would recommend staying here.

The two gentlemen at the front desk upon our arrival were very kind & patient. I appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were very clean, the temperature in the room when we walked in from the heat was very much appreciated. Other hotels can have a “muggy” smell to their rooms when you walk in but our room smelled great. A clean room is a huge thing for us & this hotel was very clean!!! Thank you!! If I could recommend anything it would be,,bathrooms could use a little paint under the vanity & bathroom floors. Breakfast was I appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel. dirty toilet, dirty mattress, refusal to offer any help from staff needs refreshing and update....price with tax $200 a night...not at all worth it breakfast ok will NEVER stay there again, should have gone with Holiday inn express

Very comfortable hotel, good beds, clean. Friendly staff. However, there is no source for drinking water in the entire hotel, you will be drinking tap water. The coffee will also be made with tap water. Also, there is no freezer in the room fridges, but the ice machines work well. just come prepared to fill something leakproof with ice for your cooler so your food wont get wet.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Montezuma Inn & Suites recently, it was a great stay. The have a great breakfast . The breakfast attendant Debbie is so nice and awesome the chocolate muffins are so delicious. The green and red Chile are to die for, they have the right amount of heat to them. We checked in with Zane he is a very nice person. He did help out with restaurants around the area. We did choose La Fiesta there green Chile salsa is so delicious. Anyways back to best western. The fitness center is really nice it does have a lot of work out equipment. Rooms are very nice and clean. All staff is awesome. Kudos to the manager . I believe her name is Christina , she is a very nice helpful person. She is the one who booked our reservations, very smart young lady !!! I decently will be coming back. Thank you for your great hospitality . My family enjoyed every bit of the Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay with at Best Western Plus in Las Vegas NM. Rooms are very clean , shower pressure is awesome. Clean public areas . All the staff is great ! They have a great breakfast. Lots to choose from. The green Chile is the best. Christina the Manager is very good. All the staff like I mentioned all the way up to the owner of the hotel , the rooms are in good condition. I seen some reviews talking bad about this place but everyone has there own prospective. Mine was a positive review , next time I pass three or come for work I will be staying here again. Rooms need better and deep cleaning. The pillow had a stain. Shower curtain had a stain. And chairs have hand grease stuck into fabric. The carpet stinks. Water to sink and shower drains too slow. A/C has a funky odor when on a medium temperature setting. No privacy.

The personnel provided exceptional service in order to prepare fa room for my stay. Another hotel had botched my reservation and when I checked with Best Western whether they had any rooms the answer was negative. But the clerk took the initiative to help me find an accommodation elsewhere. While searching alternatives, she identified a room at her Best Western that was vacant but not cleaned. The clerk took the initiative to have a housekeeper come back to work and the room was ready within 30 minutes. The effort was greatly appreciated and the stay was very comfortable.

We would recommend staying at the Best Western Plus when in Las Vegas, NM. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and even being on the first floor, it was quiet. The beds were also comfortable. The only critique was the gravy for the biscuits was cold (we were there for breakfast at 6:00 am when it opened), so someone would want to heat it up in the microwave (cover it first). That being said, we would stay at this hotel again when in Las Vegas, NM.

Hotel was very clean and quiet, very comfortable bed, our car parking was right outside our window and by an entrance door. The lady at breakfast was very helpful and breakfast was very good. She was very personable.

It's newer, and that shows. The breakfast is the best I've experienced in the past year. Las Vegas, NM is a good stop between Tucson and Denver. I was a little surprised that there wasn't a small refrigerator and microwave.

A well-maintained older motel with large rooms. TVs have been updated since my last visit in 2016. This is a relaxing place to visit and it's close to the Cadillac dealer. I heartily recommend this as a fine place for a quality stay.

At 7:30 a.m. there was already no hot water. Not what one expects when staying in the priciest hotel in the area. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, room was comfortable and clean.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms have everything someone would need and the staff are very customer service friendly! Even our service dogs was very happy with the staff! I'd highly recommend staying here again!

Although advertised as the newest hotel in the area, this was a standard BW property. It was on the edge of town, wasn't particularly clean (our room had sticky floors, and the couch had a smell to it} and the front desk person wasn't very helpful or welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room was larger than most BW rooms.

Heating system not working, but we were too exhausted to ask for help as we were already in bed after breakfast had to be served by staff, not self-serve and very minimal. There was no fresh fruit or plain yogurt. Check in was easy, efficient. Front desk staff very efficient.

It is a very nice clean hotel. Very friendly staff. It was a comfortable one night stay as we were traveling with our Yorkie! It had a nice breakfast the next morning. Wish there was more low glycemic (carb) options. Like cottage cheese, etc….

Check in was not very easy, was told to use side door versus front. But using the luggage cart you could not push it to the car due to the curb at the side door. So we carried all the bags from the car to the cart, there was very little room at the side door for the cart and the door swung out making it difficult to get the cart back in. Then found out we had to push the cart back to the front where the elevator was??? Why didn't they let us unload at the front door with the sliding doors??? Once in the room, was used bar soap in the shower. Lastly, breakfast was the worst, they had to serve you due to covid??? No other hotels were doing this and we stayed at others in New Mexico. It made the problem worst as people were bunched up at the front doors that you go in and out of. They only had one server and ran out of items. We could not even grab a piece of fruit and leave quick. You were forced to wait for them to hand you a piece of fruit. Sadly, we just skipped it and left.

I stayed here when k went home to bury my grandmother. I am so happy I chose this Best Western in Las Vegas NM. It was very clean and the staff was second to none. I was born and raised in this town and this place rivals none definitely in a class of its own and the top of the class

The staff here is kind and patient. Covid-19 protocols in place, masks worn and hand sanitizer available. The breakfast was good, hot items were available. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fine. Dog fee $20. The room did have a strong smell of air freshener. It is probably time to replace the towels, they were soft but dingy and frayed.

Upon checking in at 10 pm we were told pool was closed. Walking to our room we saw people swimming in the pool. When we got to our room, the TV didn't work. It was unplugged. Plugged it in but on and off switch didn't work on the remote so had to turn it on manually. Room was on the older side but clean and comfortable. Fitness room was adequate. Shower sucked because the water was not even luke warm. Breakfast was better than most hotels. Good selection and tasty. Hot items as well.

we try to stay at Best Westerns if possible as beds are normally good and overall quality for price is good. This hotel needs a good maintenance person. front auto door not functioning. Staff was Front auto door not functioning (did not auto open) had to manually pull doors back to open. good/normal check-in. Room: Air Conditioner settings panel was broken so air would not shut off nor able to change any settings. (we just unplugged it). Room Refrigerator was VERY noisy (compressor going out so we unplugged it. Bathroom floor tile grout was breaking up. Rug had weed stickers that had not been vacuumed. Room and Bathroom corners and behind toilet were not well cleaned with visible debris. Mattress was very soft and not supportive. This room was not what we normally expect from a Best Western. Breakfast was not as good as normal but it was eatable.

My husband and I were only going to stay here one night, but due to the winds, we stayed a second night. The hotel and room are very clean, the bed is super comfortable, the hot breakfast in the morning is delicious, and the staff is very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Good variety of breakfast items, clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff! Hard to as for more! We visited Las Vegas New Mexico for a family gathering over the holidays. The staff provided us with all the maps we needed to enjoy the history of the area.

The door to your hotel room should be pretty routine. You slide the credit card like key and see the green light and open it. This worked the first time but the next time we needed to get in the door wouldn't budge even though the green light was on. I had to hit it hard with my shoulder and it opened. Finally when it happened again we went down and the front desk person apologized came up and tried it. She had trouble too. It finally worked enough so we weren't locked out. She adjusted our bill because of it. The room was nice with a king bed. Many lights. Plenty of towels. The TV had 300 plus channels and it was tough to find the one you want. Breakfast was good.

out of town, but just off freeway, a few minutes form old downtown, this is in a newer area and other motels around, but none compare to service and quality this place offer, when we stayed another night and room wasn't made up, the manager called her housekeeping girl who came in and made it up after she had gone home-beat that competition! thanks for all

Facility was clean, updated and comfortable large room. Easy check in. Will add to Favorite list. Breakfast was served rather than buffet - same foods - just safer. Reasonable price. Comfortable bed. Nice pool - did not use.

We arrived late at night with no reservations and a lot of requests. Jonathan was so professional and helpful, he really sets a lovely tone for the hotel. He even offered assistance with where we might some good food for dinner late on a Sunday evening. The rooms were updated with comfortable, clean beds and good water pressure.

Our trip started in Southern Arizona! First stop Dallas, Texas. An impromptu trip to Pikes Peak before coming home brought us to Las Vegas, NM. Of course we look for a Best Western hotel for the night! We were not disappointed! Good service! Great price!

Everything was wonderful! The staff was amazing! Clean lobby, clean and super comfortable rooms! Everyone was awesome and very helpful and hospitable. The room was big, clean and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! It's a quiet location, close enough to restaurants, gas stations, etc. The pool and hot tub were also clean and very nice. Definitely the nicest place to stay in Las Vegas! We look forward to staying here again!

Normally when we head to the Midwest we stay on I40 but this time we decided to use I25 before heading across the center of the country. This town is has so much more to offer than Santa Rosa or Tucumcari. The hotel is great and the service is wonderful. It is close to the freeway and there are some good restaurants close. The front desk was helpful in guiding us to the good restaurant. Definitely going to make this route higher on our list. The room was clean and the beds comfy.

Very nice stay! Clean, comfy and quiet. The only annoying part was that there is only one elevator, but the stairs weren't bad to take. Nice location right off the interstate. Lots of food options. Friendly staff.

This room is on the 1st floor at the very end of the hall. The one good thing I will say is that the beds were comfy, that accounts for the 2 stars. We expressed our wish to be moved but was told the hotel was full. For starters, there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. No USB ports for electronics anywhere. Our window view was of a dumpster. However, the worst part was the room location and the room door itself. The room door is literally next to the outside hallway door, so every time someone went in or out we heard it loud & clear. It didnt help in trying to keep our 2 small dogs from barking. Then the matter of the room door. The pictures really tell the story,but suffice to say we felt insecure sleeping in this room. It's obvious this room has been entered by force more than once. For advertising itself as "very pet friendly", there's really only one grassy area to walk dogs, and that is at the driveway entrance on the highway. So, thanks for putting us at the farthest point away from that area.

After staying in Las Vegas, NM many years ago and having a terrible hotel experience, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style with an attendant serving the food. Much better than the "grab & go" bags that are still being offered at other places. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good place to stay for one night or longer.

Staff here were so polite and helpful. But the general upkeep of hotel and rooms were in need of attention. Our room was overall clean but the hallways were dirty and the elevator hadn't been wiped down once in the 24 hours we were there. The same handprints and stains greeted me every time I accessed the elevator. The hallway on the second floor hadn't been vacuumed as well and never was cleaned. There was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hall for hours but no one came and vacuumed the area. My room was clean which was good. The air conditioner worked well also. Bed was comfortable. We were missing the linens for the pull out sofa but staff was very helpful and provided us with what we needed upon request. However, my room reeked of cigarettes and all through the night cigarette smoke came through my vents. Another family members room was literally full of marijuana stench. I have nothing against people smoking but when you sleep in a hotel you should be able to breathe clean air and this was not the case. My family member reported the issue to the staff and they were polite about it but nothing was resolved except a slight discount on their room. Which didn't do anything for my family member because she gets drug tested frequently and the room was soooo drenched in pot smoke she was worried about losing her job if she gets tested. So unfair and not cool to stay at a hotel and have to worry about losing your job because of staying there. There were no other rooms available and she was stuck having to be in this room. I feel bad the hotel management has to deal with people smoking in rooms but they need to find a solution. Even tonight I brought my travel bag up to my room whenI arrived home , opened it up and my own room is now drenched in cigarette smell. That's how bad it was. Next, a bit of disappointment was the pool was closed. I had read a few weeks ago it was closed and hoped that it would be open by now. We were informed it was mechanical issues and we could use the pool next door, thank you for that, however at the prices going now for rooms it should be disclosed in the website that the pool will be out of operation for a while and room prices should be adjusted accordingly. Finally I would like to thank the breakfast staff. They were awesome and working so hard to satisfy the hotel guests. They really were outstanding, they need to be recognized for what they do and how they are a positive contribution to the hotel.

I just spent the night of July 4th at your Las Vegas, NM location. It was an appalling experience. They had to know that the annual 4th of July festival was on, but they were totally unprepared. I tried to get some help from the desk clerk, but she was involved in a dispute between management and someone who had bounced a check. She abandoned her desk for at least an hour to talk on the phone in the office while several guests stood about in the lobby. I finally went into the pantry area and managed to find what I needed. Never did see the desk clerk. The ice container and glasses were hidden in a chest in the room, took a long search to find them. TV had a weird selection of channels, no MSNBC, CNN, or decent national channels could be found. The handicapped shower spread water all over the bathroom tile, dangerous. Room card wouldn't work on back access door, I had to walk barefoot all the way around to the lobby. Breakfast had a line out to the lobby. Ladies would not even let me get my orange juice. The girls were trying, but was dismal food. At over $100 for a room one would expect better. You owe me a refund.

We arrived to the City of Las Vegas New Mexico in a city wide blackout. Staff had the automatic doors open... of course meant no computers at the front desk. Staff checked our reservation on their phones, then simply wrote down our information and walked us to our room holding flashlights. This was done with unbelievable grace. We enjoyed dinner at the former Harvey house, also blacked out, but serving cold food and drinks (again with grace) then back to the dark room. Lukly the windows opened and the weather was cool. Sometime durring the night the power came back on. The next morning we had breakfast... A full breakfast but due to covid, instead of buffett style a staff member served you. Again, dealing with issues gracefully. While power was back on the computer system wasn't (the manager was there fighting with it) so they simply confirmed our phone number to address paperwork and billing later. Good custemer service is nice, but great customer service is seen when there are problems, and staff here handled the issues well.

A great little place right off of I 40 in Las Vegas New Mexico. The bed is super comfy the pillows are awesome and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is great even during Covid conditions everyone can get a little something to eat before they hit the road. Good place to rest your head and hit the road the next day. While you are there don't forget to visit The skillet downtown a great place to eat and Charlie's for a wonderful baked good and if you're there during a sport season consider visiting a sporting event a New Mexico Highlands University.

We have stayed here twice and it is a good place to rest your head on a long drive. Beds are comfy as are pillows. Breakfast has a good selection. Place is right off the interstate and is quiet as well. Passing thru and need a place for dinner try The Skillet downtown.

Stayed here while room was okay, they had absolutely no amenities available, no pool, no hot tub, no fitness center, no computers, no full breakfast, and what breckfast they offered was minimal. we paid what we would have if all amenities had been available, but there were none. They used covid as an excuse when other hotels had their amenities available. wont stay here again.

While driving to Denver I decided to stay a night in Las Vegas New Mexico. This hotel met my needs. Friendly staff made it for an enjoyable stay. Good value for the money. Nice location in a small town.

Very clean, modern, everything works well. Very good service from the desk clerks and the housekeepers. Easy access. You always find parking even is the hotel is full, which happens often. The rooms are large, as well as the bathroom, which has granite tops.

The hotel was very nice. The room was large and super clean. The check-in staff was nice but did not explain the breakfast situation and it shows free breakfsst" on their internetsite. So, only problem was they did not have breakfast available due to the Covid pandemic (4/17/2021).

I think this hotel is the highest rated in Las Vegas. It is clean and quiet, even though it was crowded. The area behind the hotel is littered with trash. The bed was comfortable. I slept well. The bathroom light was depressing. A lot of beige.

Staff here are always very helpful, kind and friendly. Pillows are too stuffed but I brought my own! Grab and go was a bit disappointing but that is due to Covid restrictions for the most part. Thank you for a good nights rest!

I hate to leave this review, because I usually prefer this hotel when in town, but I must warn future guests who are traveling without a lot of money on their cards. 1. Check in Process - easy and smooth, however. . . they preauthorized my card the morning of my arrival (normal), but then additionally preauthorized my card after check-in for the entire stay and then again for just the night and then again an additional $100 for accidentals (which is strange since they already have a "credit card" on file and have no idea if damages would be more or less). So, my first night for a $99 per night room before taxes was preauthorized on my card for $570. The next morning, there was an additional preauthorization for the next night (which is normal) but I already have over $600 pending on my card for 2 nights that should only be $224 total after taxes. 2. Additionally, when all the dust settled, it all worked out except one thing - my rate went up by $20 dollars on the second night and the local and state tax percentages went up as well, which I still don't know how that was possible - unless they passed state legislation and local ordinances beforehand and I just so happened arrived at the right time. 3. When asking staff about all of this, they never had a clear answer and every answer was different, which tells me they need to do more training together and get on the same page. I was lucky that I had enough money on my card, however the next person may not be that fortunate and then cannot buy gas, food, etc., until the bank clears their card several days later. 4. The good things - everything else! Clean room, polite staff, clean facility, etc. Usually, this isn't the place to stay.

A fairly average BW building, but I had significant issues with room door security and heating system. Staff's comment was an uninterested " I guess we'll need to get that adjusted"'. Also, double charged my credit card, had to call to get cleared. I'm a BW regular (4 this trip) -this is not my usual experience.

this is a very clean hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. They allow pets, and have the rooms that are pet friendly are clean and smell good. The breakfast has been good in the past, but covid has caused issues.

All these hotels are claiming to really clean these room but two recent stays show otherwise. This hotel has a heating and ac unit for each room. We opened the front and the coils were clogged with dirt. This is a major COVID breeding and spreading ground. Check filters, carry Lysol protect yourself. Also, they don't serve coffee or provide creamer in individual packets, somehow because of COVID and they don't provide hair dryers because of the virus. GO FIGURE!!

Very convenient to both the interstate and visiting the sights in Las Vegas. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and all Covid-19 protocols and protections were followed. Room was modern, spacious and comfortable, and very clean. Area was quiet, too - we were concerned we might hear loud highway or train noise at night, but that did not happen during our stay. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is not the usual breakfast service, but they did provide a small bagged breakfast snack. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our check in was very easy. We even arrived early and we were able to get our room which was nice. Masks were mandatory which was great. The room has clean and the beds comfy. The staff was very friendly, nice and extremely helpful. We will definitely return for our next get away!

I was extremely impressed with the Best Western Plus Montezuma Inn & Suites in Las Vegas, NM. Hotel was conveniently located, extremely clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated that mask's were mandatory for all staff and guests, and you could tell the hotel took it seriously. The room itself was spotless. All in all we will stay here in the future whenever travelling through NM.

The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. We rented 4 rooms they were all very clean. Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay. I would definitely recommend this one to any traveler.

I will start by saying that the people that worked here were worth 6 stars! They were friendly, helpful and quick to check in and out. The breakfast was a typical breakfast from a chain and the food was hot and good. There were three things that detracted from our stay. We stayed in room 209 which I can say should not be in service as the room door is not square and does not close all the way. If you did not look the deadbolt, anyone could have walked in, a room key was not needed. In all my life, I have never seen a room door that was that far off from being square, no joke. The same for the bathroom, it wasn't square either. The shower also never got hot even after being on for 10 minutes (both in the evening and in the morning). The last challenge was the mattress. I think I felt every spring in the bed. Back to more positives, the room was clean and all things considered, quiet, even with the gap at the door jamb. I think we just had a dud room that management has to know about. What was disappointing is that when we stayed here, the hotel did not appear to be sold out and they could have placed us in a different room. I would give them a second chance based on the staff, location quietness.

We were very disappointed by this motel. The check-in person was indifferent and kind of unfriendly (they weren't busy), the rooms were poorly insulated from noise and ear plugs were a must at night, the breakfast was luke warm even though we were there close to the start. The place felt a bit uncared for.

Check-in was fast & friendly. We were cheerfully given a top floor room as requested. Our room was clean but not well maintained. The door lock was loose so you had to try several times to open it & double check that it latched when it closed. When we decided to take advantage of the exercise room, we were a bit disappointed to find some of the equipment parts were missing and the treadmill was a bit inconsistent with its pace. Hotel exercise facilities are notoriously basic but it was a real challenge here. Then, in the middle of the night, we discovered that the heat/AC unit didn't work. It blew air but wouldn't heat. We were lucky that the weather wasn't super cold & the room ended up just being on the chilly side but it made you want to rush with showers so you could leave to get warm. Ran out of hot water in the shower & the water pressure was so high it felt like it would peel your skin off. Overall, our stay was not that comfortable. The hotel is convenient to find and had several choices for restaurants within a mile or so. However, we will not choose to stay here again if ever in the area.

I stayed here again on 2-12-20. Check in was very easy with a quite friendly staff member Christin. The room was nice and clean and bathroom very clean. Hotel interior appealing in appearance and clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. My room was very quiet. I had a serious computer problem and front desk staff member Illiana went above and beyond in her attempts to fix it while answering my several computer illiterate stupid questions. Upon her suggestion I left it for a night time staff member, Jason, to attempt a repair. The next morning Jason presented me with a completely functioning laptop. I thank both of you for the fix and for being exemplary BW employees. Aside from the laptop fix, this is an excellent BW + location.

Very enjoyable it was cold outside and the room was a very welcoming warm, comfortable chair in room. Breakfast area was neat and clean with good food selection. Nice variety of dining facilities in area. Easy off/on interstate. Easy access to Old Town and local sites.

I've stayed at all the hotels on the LAS Vegas New Mexico area, and this Best western, was by far the best and i will continue to stay here from this point forward on any future visits i come across to this city.

Clean, modern, well-lighted, safe, quiet hotel with good service that seemed new. Breakfast was fine. Staff was very helpful and friendly. No interstate truck noise could be heard. Numerous places to eat within a short drive, especially Hillcrest restaurant,

Easy access from interstates. Had no problem with our check in and when checking out, out statement was already printed and waiting for his. This was the easiest internet connection we have ever had at a hotel! We were offered soup on the evening of our arrival but did not partake. We did enjoy the excellent breakfast the next morning. This location is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed.

I usually love Best Western and travel all over the country staying at the BWs that are pet friendly. This location however was horrible. The room (#111) smelled strongly of pet urine. I didn't even use the shower because the shower walls were covered in soap scum. They kept cancelling my card key before checkout time. There is no place to walk the dog. No grass, just a parking lot surrounded by mud. Had to buy an extension cord because there were not enough electrical outlets beside the bed.

We travel through this area several times a year and finally decided to split the trip into 2 days. We travel with our small dog and booked this hotel since it offered pet friendly rooms. The room was spacious with 2 beds, 2 chairs, a desk, a credenza with microwave, refrigerator and TV. It had a large tiled area where wa could feed our pet without fear of spilling on the carpet. Very clean which can be unusual for a pet friendly room.Everything in the room worked - unusual even for a higher end hotel. This hotel was easy on and off I-25 and quiet. The customer service was friendly. It had a pool and gym which we did not use.

Nice looking place, with newer larger rooms, good beds, a good breakfast, and a reasonable price. First impressions were very positive. But lots of little things added up to a less-than-desirable stay: - VERY DANGEROUS showers, with slick, smooth, rounded tub bottoms; no friction surfaces or mats; and zero hand-holds anywhere in the shower. I've never seen a more dangerous hotel shower for slips and falls, and it's totally inexcusable. Friction strips and a grab bar need to be added asap. - The room layout left a coffee table with sharp corners directly in the path from the bed to the bathroom, with no night lights in the living area or bath. It was so dangerous that we had to move the coffee table to the side of the room so we didn't risk a fall or injury during the night. - No power outlets available at either nightstand beside the bed. Huh? What hotel doesn't have power outlets? - The cheap aluminum-framed window leaked air so badly you could feel the draft coming from it, and it was 6 degrees F the morning we were there. - The thermostat on the wall-mounted HVAC unit was so far off (about 8 degrees) that it was very difficult to get the room temperature stabilized. - Very noisy, with little or no sound insulation between rooms. - No hot water in the morning (apparently the whole system failed). This made for a difficult morning, but they did provide a partial (20%) refund for the inconvenience. This is a classic example of a potentially good hotel that didn't pay attention to the little details that make for a nice stay.

Nicely decorated, very clean. Excellent food choices for breakfast, and enjoyed a complimentary bowl of soup at check in. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Location was close to interstate but room was very quiet

The hotel was nice and the staff was pleasant. They offered complimentary free soup which was nice on a snowy cold night. Unfortunately, there was not enough hot water to take a hot shower due to the amount of people staying over night at the hotel!

My wife and I spent two nights at this motel on our way to Colorado Springs to pick up a puppy and on the way home. The motel is very quiet and the staff is friendly. Hot breakfast in the morning with lots of selections. Will definitely stay here again.

Most of what you'd expect from a best western motel, but I would not consider it a BW plus. Rooms were typical pest western quality. One extra that was nice was the soup in the evening. Cheyenne quiet room on the third floor.

I've always had good luck with the Best Western Plus properties. They are clean, comfortable and every one I've stayed at offers a very nice complementary breakfast. In addition, their staff is always very complementary.

This hotel was convenient to the interstate, clean and well-maintained, and pet friendly. It does not have and enclosed outdoor pet area and garbage cans for pet waste like some hotels, but was very accommodating otherwise. Unlike some hotel rooms that can be a little cramped , our room was spacious and comfortable for us and our pet.

A very nice newer hotel on the north side of town. We drove around Las Vegas to see some of the historic sites near downtown that was a few miles away. A great breakfast got us ready for a long drive home.

It was very relaxing after a long days drive and everyone was so polite and considerate of anything we asked. I enjoyed the pool and was very pleased with the food. The staff could not be any more friendly and accomadating.

I've been here for past business trips and will be here again. The rooms are spacious and clean, and ideal for spreading out work, connecting on high-speed internet or just relaxing. I'm most impressed with the staff, who never fail to provide excellent service. They go out of their way to give directions to local restaurants and sites, accommodate requests, and more. Top of the line all the way!

This was a pleasure trip. We selected this hotel for its location and amenities. We particularly like the indoor pool because they also have a Sauna. The room was clean and well appointed. Check in was swift. The room was clean and very well appointed. We stayed in a third floor room which overlooks the hotel entry but noise was not a factor. This is not the first time we have stayed here and it will not be the last as we were pleased with the entire experience.

The facility was very clean and comfortable. It is close to I-25, but there was no disturbing road noise. The staff helpful and friendly. Several nice restaurants nearby with a variety of food options.

Stopped in Las Vegas on our way home to Denver. Our king room was large, with high ceilings, nice clean carpet and bathroom. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Adriana assisted us at check in. She was friendly, fast and efficient. She was very welcoming and personable. The property is fortunate to have such a professional employee working the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.

What we needed for a quick night stay. Unfortunately we were in a room by the back exit and it was so noisy all night long. Those doors should be locked for part of the night to minimize noise or at least have a soft close. It literally woke us up all night long. Also, the pool didn't open until 11am, which was our checkout time. This should be told to you prior to booking! We have two young kids and wanted to use it that morning. Otherwise very clean and good breakfast.

This hotel had a number of positives for my wife and me. The staff person for check-in was responsive to my requests about room location. We liked having chicken noodle soup for the evening snack. In the morning we found the fitness center to be above average, with three cardio machines and a multi-station lifting machine.They had complementary fruit at the front counter and cookies in the evening. The room was large and clean. The only negatives were that at breakfast I would have liked a made-to-order omelette, which I have had at other Best Western Plus hotels, and some of the furnishings like the hallway carpeting and room closet door could use a freshening. Finally, because the hotel is pet friendly, they should have a designated dog relief area with bags and trash bin.

I arrived before check-in time and didn't expect to be allowed in the room but had a busy day ahead and hoped to check-in so I would be able to go straight to the room later that evening. On previous stays I had been allowed to check-in but not allowed in the room. I waited as a customer was checked in. During this check-in 3 of the clerks friends arrived and were greeted. The clerk then checked-in his friends when it was apparent I was already waiting to check-in. The clerk continued chatting with his friends for 3-5 minutes before asking if he could help me. I learned the clerk had recently returned from Maryland and that he hadn't seen his friends in years. When I asked to check-in I was told I couldn't be checked-in because my room hadn't been cleaned after just watching the two previous guests be checked-in but not allowed to enter their rooms because they hadn't been cleaned. I have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times per year for the last 3 years and will be staying in Las Vegas 4-5 more times in the next 6 months but am considering other options for my future trips to Las Vegas.

My hotel room was very clean, breakfast is awesome and delicious.NM green chile and red chile hit the spot! The breakfast attendant Debbie is so nice she treats you like family! Front desk is very friendly. The GM as well is very helpful.

Very happy with our stay at BW in Las Vegas, New Mexico. When I made the reservation I asked about airport pick-up and, just as promised, they were there 10 minutes after I called on arrival. My wife and I have stayed there on previous trips and never had a problem of any kind. The staff is friendly and efficient and has gone out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Las Vegas was an overnight stay on my way to Ruidoso. This was a road trip with my 45# shelter mutt and Best Westerns almost always accommodate dogs. There are "dog rooms" set aside and I have found them to be cleaner and in better shape than your human-only room. This was no exception. The room was clean, the linens top quality and the bed comfortable. I also like the outside room entrances which is really convenient. My only minor "issue" was finding , for the first time, an automated yogurt dispenser at breakfast. The yogurt tasted a little off and I hope that this does not become the standard for motels. Individually packaged yogurt is fresher and tastes better.

Initial impression of hotel, staff service and cleanliness was good but my room wasn't cleaned the first 2 days. Maintenance was requested to fix bathtub drainage. It was repaired but they left the door to our room ajar which left us with an uneasy feeling. We could hear noises all night with doors opening and closing as well as the person snoring in the next room. Hotel wasn't insulated well. Had these things not happened, I would've been impressed with the hotel in general.

We have been up there quite a few times with the football team and wrestling and this was the first time we stayed there and not where the football team stayed. It was such a clean room, nice size. My husband and toddler daughter loved the breakfast. Front desk was very helpful. I will be staying there from now on for all school trips. Clean room, clean bathroom. Hallways were clean, front area and kitchen area were very clean. Paid 129 with taxes for a queen double room. The handicapped accessible room was taken, wish they had more accessible rooms. Other than that it is a great place to stay. I think the only complaint would be the pool was cold, so my toddler daughter just enjoyed the jacuzzi from the first step.

The sheets on both the beds were dirty when we arrived and appeared to have been slept on. The room was considerably more expensive than others in town and we al least expected clean sheets! Won't be staying and Best Western again

There are much better Best Westerns that are cleaner so I would like to see this one clean up and be better. It's in a good location and deserves to have a better reputation. Very capable to be better.

Just needed a place to stay for the night. Check in was easy. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfy. Breakfast had several options, hot and tasty. Right off the highway. Good food right across the street.

Our stay recently, (Aug, 2019) was by accident and because of an accident. We hit a deer a few miles south of Las Vegas that pretty much took out the front of our SUV. We had to get a room in Las Vegas and this Best Western was the first hotel that we called. They had just one room left for that night for us. We discovered the next morning that Las Vegas does not have a national car rental agency. The closest place we could rent a car to finish our vacation and get back home to Texas was in Santa Fe, 72mi away. We also discovered that Las Vegas does not have a taxi or Uber or any such service so we could get to Santa Fe. The staff at this Best Western, mainly Adriana at the front desk who went very far and above excellent service and help, worked hard and even called in favors to find us ride to Santa Fe. As for the hotel itself. The hotel was very clean as was our room. The continental breakfast was very good also. So whether staying in Las Vegas by accident or on purpose, we very much recommend the Best Western Plus Montezuma Inn & Suites.

We checked into this hotel and immediately check right back out. The room itself was satisfactory for a more inexpensive hotel, but the rest of the hotel was not. The hallways had very dirty, stained carpet, The most concerning was the hotel's dog that ran unleashed throughout the lobby, including into the pantry where breakfast food items are kept.

A quality room after a long drive from Phoenix, AZ. We had several restaurants available for us to choose from within a short distance from the hotel. Fuel was also within reach upon our departure. We will stay there again!

Quick check in but that is it. Bathroom towels had not been cleaned had a crusty brown substance on them. I asked for no down since I am allergic, two pillows were down.9:45 pm an din the lobby they are blaring music.The shower was awful and dirty it had not been cleaned. Comfy beds,pool was just okay.For the price did not meet expectations.

As title indicates, this Best Western had one of the best breakfast selections we have gad with this chain. It is unfortunate that even though this is now a smoke free property, the odors of the past linger in the hallways and rooms. Not sure how to overcome this problem. Staff is friendly and efficient.

I found the Best Western with great ratings online! Staff, cleanliness or room, everything was totally matched up to the ratings. Free breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choices for everyone. I think it was even better than some of the reviews stated.

It was very nice The room was very clean. I just wasnt to pleased with the location of the hotel. We used internet it was very fast. We used breakfast it was good. I would stay again only if I had too.

The hotel was very nice, the rooms were modern and nicely decorated, the staff were all very helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good. The pool was always full of kids however and they weren't very well supervised. But if you were hoping for a good soak/swim you can go to the hot springs at the edge of the town instead. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

Keep in mind that I am rating this property within the “2 1/2 star” class hotel. We've stayed here in the past and always find the hotel to be clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The property is a “no frills” place that provides comfortable beds, adequate linens and a well lite parking area. The rooms are equipped with microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker. A hair dryer is in the bathroom. A typical hotel breakfast is provided in the mornings. For those traveling with trailers, there is a very large lot to accommodate that need. I would suggest the plumbing be upgraded to provide additional hot water for all the guest rooms. I was on the third floor recently and at 7:00 a.m. the water in the shower was barely Luke warm. This is a pet friendly hotel which makes it nice if you're traveling with fur babies. However, the hotel management should re-evaluate its pricing on the rooms. It's a bit high for a two and a half star property when compared with the other properties in the area.

I stayed here to crash for the night and it was very clean and peaceful. I was never disturbed by noise and the room was very nicely made up. The A/C and heating was easy to use and warmed/cooled the room very quickly. Would stay again.

Great place to stay when travelling in the area. Clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Soup served in lobby at 6PM until it runs out. Soup is higher quality than plain canned soup. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nicer breakfast than most places. Close to Interstate as well. I enjoyed my stay.

Flavors vary from day to day: we enjoyed chicken noodle soup that really hit the spot on a cool evening. The breakfast buffet was better than most chain motels. Employees were friendly & helpful

Staff are friendly and everything was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Full breakfast with pancakes, waffles, red chili and green chilis, plus full continental items such as cereal and sweet rolls. Will definatly stay here again, even I'm in town

This gem of a hotel is perfectly situated near the highway for easy access. We stayed just one night on our way to Denver and wish we could have stayed longer--that's how nice this hotel is. Honestly, we only paid $90 for a suite and the room was outstanding. The staff is exceptional. If you need to stay in Las Vegas, NM, I would highly recommend this hotel. Look no further.

This motel chain offers very clean, up to date rooms and facilities. Their complimentery breakfast is second to none. I would heartedly recommend Best Western as the place to stay when you are traveling.

This was a good place for an overnight. The property and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are good and our room was quiet. The breakfast was done well. Especially pleased with the restaurant recommendation at check-in.

We arrived at this hotel after driving through a difficult storm and were so happy to have a hassle free and very pleasant check-in. The room was great as was the hot breakfast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Traveling through Lad Vegas on our way home from Arizona. Spent the night here. Very pleased with everything. Would stay again for sure. Breakfast was good. The nice man at the front desk gave us suggestions for dinner. Rock's restaurant was wonderful!!

This hotel would have gotten a better score except the pool, hot tub and sauna were all closed the day I checked in. This might not matter to some travelers but some of us look forward to that after a day on the road. Other than that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We've stayed at the Best western in Las Vegas and Santa Fe and each time, its been a pleasurable stay. The Inn is clean and cheerful, it has great amenities and the breakfast is always hot, great variety and plentiful. The rooms are quiet and nicely furnished. We enjoy our stays immensely!

A very nice looking facility and nicely furnished. That being said the food crumbs all over the bed and IN THE BED and hair on the pillow make this a no go!! I'm usually not that picky and if things are a little worn I can live with it. Pass this one up. At least the bed should be clean!

When traveling, the best surprise is no surprise. This is a well maintained, well run, newer Best Western motel. Clean, comfortable room. Efficient check-in, acceptable breakfast. We'd stay here again without a second thought. Unexpected plus in our room: a large ceramic with a design typical of regional Native Americans. It was a nice touch.

We stayed one night as we were traveling from Arizona back to Wisconsin. Easy on easy off the highway. Our king room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, big variety of hot & cold items. A nice surprise was that they also serve an evening snack. On the night we were there they had chicken noodle soup and crackers. It was very good !

This property re-established by trust in the BW brand, after two disastrous stays in Billings (Montana) and Liberty Lake (Washington). I have written about those in other reviews. Now I want to tell you about this BW PLUS property located in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The staff are wonderful and obviously enjoy their jobs. The place is well run, extremely clean and orderly, and the location perfect for the weary traveler heading north or south on Interstate 25 in northern New Mexico. I would recommend you say away from Room 101 as it is next to the laundry. But other than that, no complaints. Well Done, Montezuma Inn and Suites!!

Staff is excellent and the location is Handy for traveling to the Historic Plaza. Good pizza delivery too. Rooms were comfy and breakfast was hot. Debbie was spot on with her breakfast and the fireplace was wonderful. Will come back again

Great hotel in Las Vegas NM with easy access to I-25 and to local restaurants. Very welcoming staff. Nice rooms. Complimentary breakfast that has good food selection choices that is continually re-supplied by a friendly & welcoming hotel breakfast hostess.

Our room was adequately clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was all the usual stuff for BW with green chilies added to the offering. The breakfast area was not adequately stocked. Barely warm eggs, sausage and gravy... if there was any.

We arrived around midnight due to terrible road conditions but check-in was fast after they found my reservation (I reserved a room that afternoon so it wasn't in their computer but they had already printed out the agreement). Room was warm and we got amazing rest after a stressful evening. Beds and pillows are super comfy and breakfast was very well done even though it was super busy. Great value and would definitely stay again.

Great rooms with hut tub and sauna. Beds better than most others and we enjoyed the sauna. It was super. Soup at six is interesting. If snowy parking can be a challenge. Having beverages always open was a special.treat.

My family and I experienced a car accident compliments of snow and ice in the middle of Nowhere, NM. Stranded for a few hours waiting on state troopers and tow truck we were finally rescued. The troopers brought us to civilization here at the Best Western Plus Montezuman Inn and Suites in Las Vegas, NM. We were greeted warmly by Mike Potter at the front desk. Once I explained what had happened he immediately and without hesitation allowed myself, wife, and four children the use of their business center so that we could begin making phone calls and getting situated. Throughout the time of making all the phone calls so that we could get moving, they then allowed us the opportunity to eat breakfast and then with clearance from his general manager they opened up a room for us to freshen up. To top it all off they rejected me attempting to pay for the service provided. Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE at its finest. I can tell you this experience at an ultimate time of despair has officially made me a Best Western Customer for life! Thank you for the hospitality and the service. The Daniel Family

My family and I were traveling back home to Texas from Colorado. We got caught in a winter storm and had a car accident in a very desolate area. Our vehicle was inoperable, but the New Mexico State Troopers came to our rescue and brought us to the Best Western in Las Vegas, New Mexico. From the moment we arrived in the wee hours of the morning, the staff was extremely accommodating. They allowed our family to rest in their conference room, fed us breakfast, helped us find transportation to Santa Fe, offered us a room to shower and clean up, and delivered us cookies. All hands were on deck from the GM, front desk, breakfast crew, to housekeeping and the kindness they expressed towards my family will forever leave an imprint on our hearts. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Have stay here numerous times and it's been a pleasure , this time the bed was to firm and the coffee maker didn't work but I'm confident it will be corrected before the next guest stay and I will be back this is a great place to stay

One night stay as we were heading south for Phoenix. Hotel was in excellent condition throughout. We found the bed to be very comfortable with good pillows and the room was very quiet. Breakfast was quite good with ample quantity for all the guests and they offered soup in the evening which was nice too. We travel through Las Vegas, NM twice a year and plan on making this our regular stop.

Booked a room through one of the on-line discount reservation sites and was pleased with the room with one exception -- the bathtub was slippery and there was no non-slip mat provided, so I had to be careful. Plenty of hot water, air conditioning worked, tv was HD wide LED screen with plenty of channels, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful.

When we arrived the first thing I noticed was milk bones in a jar next to the cookies in a display case. So doggies are not only welcomed but treated very well. They also has soup for travelers that afternoon. Our room was large, bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was great. We had plenty of towels. The desk clerk gave us recommendations for dinner that turned out to be just what we needed. The breakfast area is large and there was plenty of choices for breakfast.

We spent two nights there. The rooms were clean and were really nice! We used the pool and the fitness room. The pool temp was warm. My kids had a blast. The fitness room had everything that I needed for my workout and had great equipment. Breakfast had a variety of warm and cold cereals, waffles pancakes, and yogurt with an assortment of toppings. There were also eggs biscuits sausage gravy and red and green chile. One of the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. The staff was also very Friendly and helpful. We had a great experience there!

The service of staff was great as soon as we arrived (1am). Rooms were clean, great pool and hot tub. Only stayed one night, but I will stay here again. Breakfast was a bonus, fresh green and red New Mexico chile!

The room was large, nicely decorated, and clean. The Inn was easy to find and quiet. My only complaint was the breakfast. Everything was dry. The bread items seemed stale. If we are back in that area of the country, we would stay there again. A good value.

Stayed here summer of 2016 enjoyed hotel and employees so much we stayed again this year. Outstanding service both times and with our fur baby. The hotel was remodeled recently so it looked different. Breakfast was good and great to start our day.good restaurants for dinner close by. Only negative and not hotel fault, we were in last room next to outside door. Everytime it opened and closed our dog woke up and barked. That door was busy all night. It worked great for taking dog out but not so good for sleeping. If you travel with one dont stay in last room, as that door is heavily traveled. Otherwise its great and again we will be back

Location: On main drag coming into town. About two miles from downtown. Not on Freeway. Very little road noise. Easy driving distance to restaurants. Property: Limited landscaping. Covered entryway. Functional lobby. Breakfast are just off the lobby. Large seating area. Fairly good layout to prevent crowding. Business Center is in separate room with two computers and a printer. Private. Fitness Center well equipped: one recumbent bike, treadmill, elliptical, universal machine, dumbbells, rubberized floor with two mats. Hallway carpets bright but dirty. Generally clean but could be better. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Room: King suite large and clean. Good mattress. Comfortable sofa. A/C blows across the foot of the bed...good. Two TV's. Breakfast: Well stocked. Only one yogurt choice, no nut toppings, sausage overcooked. Internet: Very fast at 64.18 Mbps download.

Had a last minute change in plans so I called to reserve a room & the Lady I spoke with made it very pleasant. Finally arrived about 9pm. Room was clean however it was smaller than normal for 2 queen room. Breakfast was nothing to write home about.

The only problem I saw, was the breakfast items were cool instead of hot. Made for not so good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. I would stay again if the breakfast gets cleaned up.

Las Vegas is a normal stop for us and this was a first time in this facility. The room was what we expected and appeared clean upon entering. But we kept stepping on pieces of Cheetos! How do you vacuum a room and miss these in numerous places? The breakfast was below par for the breakfasts furnished in hotels... and our expectations were not high.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was in good order and breakfast was great. The hotel seemed fairly busy but it didn't seem noisy in the rooms at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was excellent - the staff was great, room was very clean, comfortable bed, liked the location, every;thing was really good except, I had had one major issue; my room had an adjoining door - it was very loud in my room. Neighbors watching (of course) Fast and Furious movie - did I mention how loud it was in my room. I could hear their conversations- everything. Thankfully they did not stay up too late, 'cause I was up as long as they were up. Don't know if rooms without adjoining doors, if they have any, are better.

My husband and I spent one night here on our way from Oklahoma via Capulin Volcano to Santa Fe. The hotel is perfectly located (meaning very easy to find). The room was clean and comfortable and quiet as can be. The breakfast was a step up from standard "free breakfast" fare. (They had grits!!!!!!!!). The coffee was very good. If our travels take us in that part of New Mexico again, we'll most certainly stay at Best Western Plus Montezuma Inn and Suites.

This was our third stay here. Great staff, nice rooms and a very good breakfast with many choices. During our 3 day stay we got to know many of the team. A big thank you to the entire staff. We will return.

My husband and I were on a road trip across New Mexico and our car broke down in Las Vegas. We had pulled over to a gas station because I had suddenly fallen. We had to order a part that would not be in for a day or two. We were recommended to the Bestern Western Plus Montezuma. Upon arrival the manager was in the lobby of the hotel and greeted us and asked about our reason for the visit. We explained the situation and his gratuity was overwhelming. He immediately got us a room where I could rest from my illness and my husband could work on the car issues. They offered us transportation to stores or restaraunts and any other things we needed. We ended up being there for two days and the entire time he checked on our well being. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. If you are traveling through New Mexico visit the Best Western Montezuma!

Great stay. We only stay at best westerns and this one meets every mark. They have after noon snacks of soup and cookies. Children enjoyed the pool and I LOVED the sauna. The breakfat buffet had both of pancakes & waffle option.

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast items were fresh and a large selection. Front desk attendant was personable and knowlaedgeable about local eateries. Fresh paint.

We stayed night of 5-9-18. I was met at front desk by a very friendly man who was quite proficient with check in and offered several local sites to visit while in town at my request. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. Great bed with many pillows. Good water pressure in the clean shower. Excellent evening cookies. Quite nice hot breakfast including hot cakes and waffles, scrambled eggs sausage, breads and sweet rolls. Many other items including fruit and great hot coffee. Check out was automatic and painless. Ample parking. I will stay again when in this area.

Garbage in the room, non working hot tub, very uncomfortable bed & pillows, heating/air had issues, non draining tub and sink, stale dry breakfast, very rude staff and very overpriced! Don't stay here!

We stay at Best Westerns. This one happened to be where we were going to stop for the night. The hotel itself lived up to BW standards. I just didn't see the value in the location as to why it was more expensive then the one we stayed at in Nebraska 2 nights before.

Nice spacious room and clean but a few issues. First, entry door had been repaired but still was very difficult to close. Second, no soap dish in bath. Third, no Television guide provided. Fourth, noisy in corridors. Lots of door slamming. Maybe they had defective doors like mine? Staff very friendly and courteous. Breakfast included. I will probably try s different place next stay.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Easy to get to from interstate. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Friendly staff. This was a quick overnight on the way from Texas to Denver

It is difficult to find quality and value in small towns, but this place is the exception. Very pleasantly surprised. Very modern and clean facility with a friendly staff. A little difficult to find as building signage a little hard to recognize. i liked the older Best Western signs much more; they were distinct and easy to spot.

Just happened to be in Las Vegas, NM when it was time to quit driving for the day. Satisfied with choice of hotel. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nothing remarkable and no problems. Very convenient to I-25.

Hotel was very nice & the staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, but carpet in our room needs to be cleaned. Breakfast was OK. I always read other reviews about how bad the hotel breakfasts are. It's complimentary, there not going to give you steak & eggs. Never got that. Other than that I would stay here again.

We stopped here on a road trip with our two kids. The hotel is quiet and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the shower head in our room had build up that caused the water to shoot out the remaining holes so fast that it actually hurt to shower. It's an easy fix, but it certainly made our morning uncomfortable. We left early so there wasn't a desk manager to contact (i didn't want to bother the very nice breakfast manager that was working hard to feed hungry guests). It's a good place to stop otherwise.

We usually stay in Albuquerque as we travel to and from Colorado. This time I wanted to try staying here. I called the hotel after I made my reservation to request a certain floor, if possible. I spoke to Christina and she said, “No problem.” A couple of weeks later, on our way there, I called to find out the weather conditions going through the mountains because it had been very windy and raining. Again, Christina answered. She took the time to check for us. The hotel was very nice. We were given a room in the area we requested. The room looked great. The bed was comfortable. The hotel has a large breakfast area, and the food was good.

This is a perfect hotel for a family. The indoor pool is very nice and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. It's nice that a fitness room is also available. Most importantly the hotel is clean, comfortable, and you receive great service. I felt like i got more than my money's worth.

Great hotel with a welcoming bowl of cheese broccoli soup. Great breakfast in the AM and really great rate. Got a King Suite for a discount. Bed was comfy and suite had plenty of room. The suite was also very clean, neat and tidy.

We stayed in this BW on our way home and found it to be a nice find. We were met with a friendly clerk and were upgraded upon check-in. The location was easy to find off the interstate. We did not use the pool or fitness room so I cannot review them. This is a really nice room for the price. I would return to this BW.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over the past weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The place is clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. There is sufficient parking. It is conveniently located to freeway access, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. We were not disappointed.

We always dine here because we love everything about it. The staff are lovely friendly people. The service is quick. The food is always delicious and the servings are huge. The restaurant is dimly lit and very relaxing. The decor is great. Tables aren't too small when the large plates arrive. Definitely not overpriced. Value for money. The music In the background is calming and peaceful, not too loud that we have to yell over the top of it We Love this place ??

We were making a transition from one home to the other. We're "snowbirds." After working hard to close down one house and pack all the "stuff" we would need in the other one, it was great to stop at this lovely place and not have to leave until the next morning. We were using our points, and were given a comfortable, quiet room, a free soup supper, and a delicious breakfast, all free. They treated us as well as if we had paid for all this.

We stayed overnight on our way to Albuquerque area. We were welcomed and provided good dining info by staff. Room was very comfortable and provided just what we were looking for - a good night's sleep and breakfast prior to heading on.

This is a nice alternative to the other chain hotels in Las Vegas, NM. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room. Much better than average breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We would stay here again if passing through the area.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located close to fast food and convince stores. We checked in late at night and left early, so didn't get to use the pool. Breakfast was served early and was excellent. Will definitely stay there again.

My puppy was welcome, in fact they made a big deal over her. The room was dog friendly, the staff was very nice. It was a typical hotel near the interstate but it was clean and inviting. The food in the morning was more than adequate. I would stay here again.

Large 2 queen bed room, plenty of counter space and very quiet. Decent breakfast, very friendly staff. Would have given this an average rating if only there was not a nauseating deodorant smell. At least it did not give me stuffy nose, sneezing, etc., like I had at a hotel in Aspen, CO. Guessing they use deodorant to mask dog odors as this was a pet room. But, if you clean and vacuum well, maybe even shampoo carpet, then no pet odors. Room was clean, but carpet definitely had a problem, as dog was constantly sniffing spots on floor, even scratching at a few. Besides dirty shoes track in a lot more disgusting stuff than a 4 legged animal, that is why many cultures have people remove shoes as you enter a home.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a really nice Best Western Plus in Las Vegas, NM. The rooms were nice, Fitness Center was highly equipped and the pool/spa was nice. I was surprised to find a Dry Sauna that worked extremely well. During the weeknights they have hot, homemade soup. Great value and tasty. The staff was great as well. I will definitely be back.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now in the past year. I was very satisfied both times. In June we were here for graduation and a lot of my family stayed here and all were very pleased. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive until you checkout. I will most definitely come back!

I love Best Western and this location was no exception. Great service, clean and comfortable rooms, great amenities and free breakfast. And all for a really great price! The fitness room was large and clean, the pool & hot tub were great, and the room itself was huge with a wonderfully firm bed.

The BW is conveniently located off I25 and easily accessible to downtown, and hospital. The property is well maintained, clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities are an inside pool, guest laundry facilities, breakfast room, and work out area. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Across the street is Pino's with excellent food.

The hotel was good but not great. The beds were comfortable. Our room was supposed to have had the sofa bed made up but it wasn't. We had to call down for sheets and make the bed ourselves. The bathroom could use a little updating as sink area was a bit chipped and tub mat looked very dirty. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was a good variety.

We were very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the room and the quality of the breakfast. It internet connection was fast. The location is ideal for easy access to the expressway and to the quaint downtown area. We will stay here again.

Located right off the Interstate. Room was very clean & the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was hot, varied and quite good. I would definitely recommend this location for your night's stay in Las Vegas, New Mexico!

We have stayed here many times since they have opened. The evening soup is a really neat touch. Didn't get a chance for breakfast this time. Forgot LV is above 6000 feet and this ole body took a hit from that.The staff is very friendly. Will stay here again.

Staff was very pleasant. There was a soup available in the evening and a nice breakfast the following morning (very busy). About a mile to the west there were several restaurant options and shopping. (wendy's, Walmart, Walgreens, etc). Hotel was clean and a good option for our quick stay in Las Vegas. Hotel seemed newer and in good clean condition. I overheard the clerk tell a walk-in customer that they were sold out and that they also own the hotel right next door (Days Inn). He guaranteed that the room would be equally as nice. I would definitely stay here again,

I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel amenities are great and the rooms are spacious. We love the staff who are always so helpful and friendly, and we love the homemade stew offered in the evenings!

The room was nice. The hotel is very clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast had some issues: the coffee was cold. We were out of plates. Also out of grated cheese. The food was fresh and good but the staff should have paid a little better attention to the bar.

This is an excellent place to stop and the front desk employee was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and roomy. The morning breakfast was ample and varied. There are many area attractions in Las Vegas for visitors to spend a few days.

Greeted by a very professional gentleman, he was caring and considerate. I travel with my cocker spaniel and he was attentive to both of us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Quiet, pleasant and comfortable.

Hotel stay was ok but could have been better. The swimming pool creating high humidity in the hallway and our hotel room. It was noisy as sound proofing among rooms was not enough. The hotel was hard to find as it was on the way out of town.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Appreciate that the juices had no high fructose corn syrup. Liked the pancake machine, easier to use than waffle machine. Eggs were dried out. Only had diet yogurts. They serve soup in the evening. Would be nice if they identified the flavor available.

The BW met our needs extremely well (Allowing our large golf group to use the meeting room for three nights). Troy and his staff were very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely go back again.

We stayed at the BW Montezuma for a golf tournament. We had a large group and the staff did a great job making our stay enjoyable and comfortable! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will stay there whenever we are in Las Vegas.

We so enjoyed our stay at the BW + Montezuma Inn & Suites. Troy and his staff was fabulous and went over and above to make our stay wonderful for our group of 50. The rooms were clean and the bed wonderful! Breakfast was great each day. They even let us use their meeting room each night for our get-togethers. Thank you Troy for a very memorable week! We had a wonderful 3 days at the BW+ Montezuma Inn & Suites!!! The staff was great to work with, as we chose this hotel back in April for our group of 50 people to stay at. We had the exclusive use of a great meeting room to gather in during the 3 evenings we were there -- and they didn't complain about all the noise we made as we enjoyed ourselves each day after golfing at the Gene Torres Golf Course in Las Vegas. Thank you Troy and your team for all you did to make us feel so welcome!!

New hotel; very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is included; quite a few choices, both hot and cold (including waffles). The best way to get to it is from the farthest north exit off of I-25.The only problem we had was a power outage, which was not the hotel's fault; there was a storm and lights were out all over the general area.

Stayed here with our golfing group. Hotel employees were very courteous and helpful. Used conference room each evening. Rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. Couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations.

Breakfast included a rotten apple, but the most egregious problem was this hotel was the least Pet Friendly, Pet Friendly hotel ever. Someone complained about our dogs making noise, so we checked out of the BW and moved to the Regal and took our dogs to the golf tournament the next day...where they NEVER made a sound!

overall the hotel was good, not sure what happened on the morning we were checking out ----- no coffee, no breakfast --- things seemed a little off. very disappointed because it looked like one of the better breakfasts served by BW .

If you don't have a reservation for another night here you are rudely asked to check out without an option to pay for another night. What happened to stay as long as you'd like? Overnight guests should have an option to stay as long as needed without feeling like I'm left homeless when I'm hundreds of miles away from home

The staff at the hotel made every effort to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed. They made sure we knew about the included breakfast. Overall the hotel was a great value.

Your typical best western but unfriendly worker.The room was great but management not so much. Needed assistance with some extra towels and some girl with red hair was very unprofessional. I've stayed at many hotels in the past but she was very disrespectful. I understand she may have been on break but very disappointed that smoking weed in the back of the hotel was more important than being of assistance to us.Won't be coming back to this place.

Very clean. Rooms need updating but overall nice place. Close to freeway access and restaurants. Didn't have the breakfast this time, but have stayed here many times and the breakfast and overall stay has been good.

Rooms at this hotel are accessed from interior corridors. The room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was large with plenty of tables. I used the fitness center which is open 24 hours. Staff were friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel.

This is your typical best western. Did not utilize the breakfast or pool areas. Got in late, so slept in until check out time. Easy on and easy off to I25. Hotel was very clean. Upon checkout, I asked where was good place to eat breakfast, he recommended Charlies cafe and bakery. Gave easy directions to find cafe. He was right...great breakfast menu and food.

This is a very clean well managed facility. We have stayed here 3 times, and our plan is to stay again. This is a combination business and pleasure trip. The breakfast was second to none. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.

we really enjoyed our stay at this motel and will reccommend to all our friends and family,a little bit out of town but there's a restaurant and truck stop across the street ,walmart not to far away,really nice rooms and friendly staff

Very accommodating staff, told us to check the room and if we needed another, just let them know. The room was very comfortable and the bed was good, we both got a good night's sleep. I spilled some coffee on the bed one morning and talked with the house keeper, and she was so gracious,and said it was no problem and promptly took care of it with clean bedding. Breakfast is very good with a great variety. We would definitely use this Inn and Suites again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was well kept and clean. Loved The comfortable king size bed. The lights in the bathroom with the fan didn't work but that wasn't a problem because there was a light over the sink. As I was checking out I mentioned it and I Soum the maintenance tech overheard and immediately made notes to repair.

When making your reservation make sure you double check with the hotel that they have "pet rooms". Or you will end up after paying and arriving that they are "sold out" "out of luck", and there is no refund!

Ample parking, great local restaurant - Hillcrest - just down the road. Decent breakfast, room comfortable. Free newspaper at the front desk. On the North end of Las Vegas. Easy, security lock access from parking to entrances.

I was impressed by the fitness center in particular for the Montezuma Best Western in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The rest of the hotel was fine but my lasting memory is of the fitness center. They have some really impressive equipment and the room to move around and get a good workout.

This hotel is conveniently located off I-25 and near a few nice family oriented restaurants. My room was nice, roomy, and with plenty of light options. The lobby is spacious with the typical continental breakfast.

Every time my husband and I have an overnight somewhere we always stay at a Best Western. They are always clean and have pretty decent breakfasts. Also, because we are veterans we get a great rate. I highly encourage anyone who is prior military to stay at Best Western. You cannot beat the price and the hotels are always great.

We stayed here for 1 night for a very decent price. The beds were very comfortable. When I checked in i got lucky because 4 people got in line behind me to check in as well. But when we got to our room our key cards didn't work. We had to get back in line and for some reason the hotel clerk took forever checking the others in. We waited about 20 minutes.

We were traveling for a week and this one location was the start of our stay. We were welcomed and we travel with a dog everyone was great to deal with. We felt very comfortable. We will continue staying at aBest Western Plus.

We stayed here on our trip back to Phoenix and we're pleasantly surprised. I made my reservation through Expedia and got an affordable rate for a king. We were a late check-in and upon check-in were greeted with a smile, jokes, and offered a snack. The entire hotel appears new or remodeled, it was clean with a nice fresh scent. We did not use the pool or business center, however; both were easy to locate and appeared to be free of complications. The hotel is smoke free and our room was large with a generous bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, no sinking to the middle. The TV was large and had many channels to surf. The bathroom towels were huge and the shower had decent pressure with ample hot water. The bathroom lacked a vent fan though. The breakfast was a full one with pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, and many pastry items. They also had four types of juice. It was plenty to keep us going. We travel this way often and would stay here again.

We had spent a full day traveling and was ready for a place to crash for the evening. The lady at the desk was so friendly and nice. She gave us some options to find a place for a meal in Las Vegas. The room was nice and the bed was so comfortable.

Great beds, very clean, kids had fun swimming. Didn't eat there, sleep was more important. But most definitely, we would go back. Very close to everything. Parking was ok, we usually bring a trailer, not sure where we are going to park if we do bring it.

Staff was awesome. We booked our stay on expedia 4 hours before arrival. When we got there, found out that they're communicaiton with expedia had been down so the room ended up double book and was not available to us. We had booked a room that could hold 6 people. They were great and compensated us with ajoining rooms for the same price we had paid. Rooms were, great - very clean. Work-out room was good, internet good and breakfast was good (nice selection). Our only compaint was that the pool & hot tub were dirty. (I fished a big hairball out of the pool before my 12 year old would jump in.) I didn't report this because I knew they'd had a tough evening of check-in due to the expedia problem and it was only about 1 hour before the pool was due to close and figured it would get cleaned for the next day.

I called to get extra towels and was put on hold by the gentleman working the front desk. After about 5 minutes on hold I went downstairs and found that he was in the lobby talking to a couple of girls. Not good business.

The manager, Troy Denison, "rescued" us at the Las Vegas, New Mexico airport. We have reservations at a downtown hotel but that hotel was unable to provide transportation and because it was the Fourth of July weekend we could find no other transportation to get to the hotel. There was a phone number posted for the local Best Western Hotel so I called that number and asked if it would be possible to pay the BW to take us to that other hotel. The BW Manager, Troy Denison, answered the phone and he said that he would be at the airport in 15 minutes to pick us up and take us to that "other" hotel. When we got to that downtown hotel we found it to be completely unsatisfactory so we again called Troy. He returned, picked us up and took us to his hotel where we enjoyed a good nights rest. We had an early departure the next morning so Troy came to his BW hotel at 5:30am and took us to the airport. My wife and I have traveled a lot but never have we had such a good experience.

Employees great. Ice machine missing on 3rd floor. Told the owner also owns the Days Inn next door and it was moved over there. Elevator floor is disgusting. Pool out of order and 8PM some folks came walking on our room..."HI!". I understand that BW is trying to remake their brand. They have come a long way but still a ways to go.

The staff is very professional and friendly. The employees David and Cesar were very helpful in advising me what were the best Mexican restaurants in town. They are very attentive to the customer's need. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would be more then happy to recommend this Best Western to my friends.

Hotel is near interstate, but far enough that you don't hear traffic. Staff is great. Breakfast could use a little improvement, but good enough to satisfy. Looked like a nice swimming pool, but it was closed for our stay, due to too much chemical in pool at the time.

Great hotel right off the interstate. The free breakfast was fresh and awesome! Pool and hot tub were closed but they said we could go to the hotel right next door if we wanted. I was happy to find a BW Plus in a small town during our trip.

Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful. Desk clerk came to room to help get the I-Net started. Took laptop down to front desk to log-in. Kept it going back to 3rd floor room. Shut it down. Restarted laptop and could not log-in(at 1AM) Gave up.

I was riding from Florida for a women's motorcycle summit in Colorado. I stopped in Las Vegas for the night. The hotel was easy to find. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel amenities were well within my expectations. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help and accommodate my party of visitors. Enjoyed my stay and will come back to this hotel mostly because of the staff and the welcome cleanliness I saw.

I visited Montezuma to attend the UWC USA Graduation and had quite a delightful weekend. The rooms were spotless, the service friendly and attentive. My only negative is that at night when trying to sleep I could hear the footsteps of persons walking in the room above mine on the 2nd floor).

The good: friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, quiet room, delicious evening soup. We've stayed here a few times when in Las Vegas to visit nearby friends. It's always good enough to come back to. Unless they've fixed the chlorine problem, I'd advise avoiding the pool.

The towels could use some softer. Also the outside yard need to be clean better. Lots of cigarettes butts. Put butt can so people will have a place to put there butts. Breakfast was good,but food run out and no one was there to replace the food.

We stayed in November heading south and again in April going home. The evening soup is always good as well as the breakfast. Our check in was a bit bizarre as no one was at the desk for 10 minutes. The staff member apologized as she was resolving a problem for a guest. It appeared there was a shortage of staff. We were quite surprised to find underwear in the bathroom that the cleaning staff missed. We got a great price through priceline and will return next year.

We stayed here to avoid the mess of Albuquerque. Friendly small town. Great food at the Hillcrest restaurant, including New Mexican. We will keep this [lace in mind if we travel this way again. I'm finished now.

The room was nice and spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful, although it is close to the road for easy access, we could not hear any road noise The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. 4K HD TV was pretty awesome too. We will stay here again for sure.

My husband and I stopped for a night on a long roadtrip. Hotel and staff were very nice. My only complaint is the wifi that wouldn't stay connected. The hotel was very busy when we arrived, due to a large group of bicycle riders arriving at the same time. Staff handled the quick influx well.

Very, caring people.will stay there again.they offering hot soup at night.breakfast was hot. Quiet clean rooms.employees are the best and polite ,and go out of there way just to make sure all is well.

My family and I stayed the night at this Best Western on our way back home to Colorado. Over all it was an acceptable stay. Our room was clean and beds comfortable enough. The bathrooms could use a little attention as far as maintaining the tile floors and the interior of the showers. The grout of the tile was cracked and missing in some places and the shower interior had a strange patchy area that looked like it possibly once had a soap dish or the like attached and it had been removed and somewhat sloppily patched over, but it was clean and that is much more important than the aesthetics in my opinion. Carpets were clean and heater in the room worked well and warmed up our room quickly. The sound proofing of the walls and ceilings was definitely poor as we could hear people walking, talking, slamming doors, and noise from surrounding television sets, but it wasn't enough to keep me awake. They also offer free breakfast, which is always an appreciated bonus. The breakfast was edible. Not great by any means, but it was free and it saved us the time and money of having to stop for breakfast elsewhere. The front desk staff didn't seem overly friendly as they did not greet my two small daughters and I as we entered the hotel or wish us well as we left, but what can you do I guess?? All in all, it was an adequate hotel for our over night needs. Nothing outstandingly good or bad about the stay. We would stay here again if ever passing through Las Vegas in the future.

The Montezuma Inn is clean, neat, and staffed with gracious friendly people. We rolled in a bit late and bowls of hot minestrone awaited us. The evening MOD went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and pleased with the room and we were.

Turn into town from the interstate, and go where it's quieter than right by I25. Room was clean and spacious with a king bed. Wi-if worked once we were patient! Evening snack was soup (after 6:00 PM)!! Plenty of parking for trailers.

This is a hotel that we always look forward to staying. The rooms are big and modern and the staff are always smiling and friendly and helpful. We love their complimentary homemade soup every evening! The breakfasts are excellent as well and everyone is so accommodating.

We travel with 2 cats so finding a hotel that allows cats is sometimes difficult. This hotel accepted us and gave us an excellent room well appointed with enough room for a litter box and food tray and all our gear. Because part of the room had vinyl flooring it was easy for us to clean up litter and food crumbs. The beds were comfortable and the heating system was just right. Wish all hotels were this accommodating for pets as this hotel. Will stay again when we come through.

You're better off driving the extra hour to get to the Best Western in Santa Fe. This hotel was gross. My room was not clean and I felt discriminated against by the staff. 0/10 would not stay there ever again.

The staff were very accommodating and the rooms clean and big, although a little plain. TV channels were very limited, getting ready Sunday morning there was nothing on but infomercials. The had an Otis Spunkmeyer machine but never any cookies. The location was really easy to get to.

Excellent staff - very helpful and concerned about service. Rooms were good sized, fairly quiet and felt safe. Breakfast choices were OK Towels were a little scratchy - otherwise overall experience was excellent

Nice room and very clean, very accommodating front desk. We had an issue with the air conditioning, Mathew(service tech) addressed it very promptly and professionally. The staff let us utilize a Mtg room for us to gather, as there many of us attending the same funeral. They engaged us at every need and did there best to meet it! The whole experience was awesome! They all gave a sense of service to you and made you feel as at home as you could be.

We reserved our room the night before we visited so when we got to the inn our reservation was ready for us. The room was on the second floor facing to the west of the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the heater.. It heated for a while, then stopped and blew out cold air. A repairman came to fix it and it worked for some of the night. Then it would not heat again. We reported it that morning when we left and it sounded like they were having trouble with several of the heating systems at that time. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of items. The coffee was excellent.

The only complaint I had was the dirty bathtub. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room right away. They were all very friendly and accommodating. We stay at best westerns almost every time we travel, this was the first time there has ever been a problem.

Used to be the best hotel in Las Vegas, NM (we have stayed here at least 12 times). New management does everything "cheap"; e.g., shower fixture in ADA room used to be suitable for handicapped person's use. It was replaced with the cheapest Delta fixture available (has no height adjustment so seated handicapped person can't reach it / shower head has no option for type of spray - it's either on or off). Doesn't feel like anything special now. Might be time to try Holiday Inn.

The facility is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Bed excellent and bathroom more than adequate. We come to Las Vegas frequently and will choose this motel for future visits. We had always stayed down town in the old hotel or in motels on the highway. This is better by far.

as stated above I stay were I can park the work trailer.I seem to find it better to stay in Las Vegas,N.Mex. It gets me closer to home the day. I never had a better GREEN CHILE,with my eggs,thank the staff for a different taste.Also the halls are clean when you walk to the room it really shows who the place is kept -up.

I had never stayed at this location before and made a reservation sight unseen. The young lady who helped me over the phone was extremely helpful and efficient. she was the same person who checked me in when I arrived later that night. She explained everything in detail and soon enough, had me on my way to the room. The room was clean and fresh as was the linens on the bed. The bed was a bit used but not too bad. The bathroom was spotless and towels fresh and plentiful. The A/C worked great, providing the perfect white noise for a sound sleep.

This is our third visit to Las Vegas, as we are in the process of moving to the area in the future. This hotel made a great impression from walking in, the staff was very nice and courteous, the room was clean and Service from the staff anytime we needed anything was fast and friendly. They serve a great breakfast, always have fresh coffee downstairs, and even a pot of soup in the evenings if you need something to warm you up. We will definitely stay here again. And exceptional hotel experience in a small town

Decided to try this place again after finding this hotel on a prior trip. Have to say it was disappointing. First, the room was clean enough. That was the upside. The shower head was so corroded it hardly allowed water to flow. Tried to work on it some but it was no use. I think this paired with towels that were hard and crusty made this part of the stay rough. I believe our heater/air conditioner unit was on the fritz. It ran in intervals of 1-3 minutes and came on again. This made it hard to sleep as it ran on and off all night. Being on the road this made things tough as the night of sleep was not good. We did not report any issue because the guy at the front desk made a bad first impression. Feel bad writing such a down review but it is just how things played out.

We had a mini-suite on 1st floor that included a microwave & fridge. Everything appeared pretty new, but more importantly it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Desk staff was great. If you're in Las Vegas, NM stay here.

Clean, attractive hotel, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast, reasonably priced, loved everything about it, however would not be able to stay again because of the heavily scented cleaner, laundry supplies or spray used that caused headache and throat and airway irritation. Bed had a heavy perfume scent then noticed the same scent in the hallway and breakfast area in the morning. Unfortunate because scent seemed completely unnecessary as hotel appeared so clean.

I've stayed here many times and I'm always greeted by kind, friendly staff. Add fresh-baked cookies, and what more could a person want. Laundry room, fitness room, pool...Vietnamese food across the street...all the amenities I need when I'm busy and traveling. The suite was beautifully laid out and decorated. The management team has customer service and comfort as its priority--and it shows. It can be hard to find this level of professionalism in a small town, but not here. Will definitely be back.

We wanted to stay in Santa Fe but the hotels there were very expensive. We found Las Vegas, NM had better price hotels and chose Best Western. It was close to couple of National Parks and it was only hour drive to Santa Fe.

Pros - Newer facility, clean room, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast. Cons - Terrible wi-fi connection, and we heard several other guests complaining about it, as well. Tiny refrigerator in the room with no freezer compartment and no VISIBLE way to control the temperature of the refrigerator. We always travel with a cooler, and our ice blocks defrosted in this little fridge. When we mentioned it to the desk clerk at the time of check out, she mentioned that there is a temperature control on the back side of the refrigerator. This mini fridge is housed in a larger armoire-type dresser. There is no way a guest should be expected to pull out the refrigerator (liability) to check for a refrigerator temperature control. Other minor issues - only 2 bath towels, 2 face cloths, and 2 hand towels provided for 2 guests. Most other facilities provide 3 or 4. If you shower at night and then need to shower again in the morning, often times the towel you used last night is not yet dry. As I said, this is minor. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Fan on the heater woke me every time it cycled on. If you can tolerate these issues, then I would recommend staying here. It was good for one overnight and we would most likely stay here again.

We stayed here one night on our drive to Grand Canyon. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Desk and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was better than average. I recommend this hotel.

There was a lot of noise and I was woken a couple of times. May have been due to a young athletic team staying at the hotel. I am a senior citizen and very picky which may be why I was not very happy about my stay.

Our room was very lovely with all the amenities. It was clean and quiet but located very conveniently to the highways. Staff was friendly and helpful. It also has a very nice poo but we did not use it.

Our room was great except it was near the elevator and that meant we could hear people all night. Plus the pool had way too much chlorine. Just walking in and it was stinging the eyes. Breakfast was good and warm.

Friendly people from the time you walk into the front door until you leave. Very nice suite, quiet even tho it is next to a main highway. Good breakfast with pancakes, New Mexico Green Chili's and tortillas. Nice to have good hot soup in the evening. It was nice to have Moka greet us at the front desk. Great place to stop at on your way to El Paso or parts North.

This seems to be a newer hotel conveniently located on Business Loop I25 with easy access to enter back on I25. The room was very large, clean, and nicely appointed. The bath towels were extra long so they wrapped the body nicely! Although I was next to the elevator, I didn't hear it or the passengers. I did not see any restaurants to walk to so visitors may want to check out eateries as they drive through the area enroute to the hotel. The beverage machine on my floor was empty and there was no ice machine. I went to another floor and the machine was sold out of my preferred beverage (water). Finally a third machine provided the water. Since my stay was on a Thursday evening and I checked in around 4"00 pm I would have expected the machines to be full.

This hotel was clean inside and out and got a great Highlands rate. The beds were soft and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, had tortillas, cheese, red/green chili to make breakfast burritos, loved it! My kid liked the chocolate chips to put on her waffle. Only con, my husband said the people walking above us kept him up but not the rest of us. We'll be back.

We are all used to motels, and at a certain level, most fit a pattern of service and amenities you would expect. The Montezuma Inn was all my friend and I expected, and at a reasonable price. Then we discovered that his 'I feel tired' was no joke. We were traveling cross country by motorcycle, so I couldn't just drive him to a clinic. The way he looked - I went to the desk to ask about local medical facilities. That's when the motel management showed true excellence. Alta Vista Hospital was just up the road; the front desk staff dialed 911 and handed me the phone. In minutes my friend was under care. The motel put the shuttle van at my disposal to get back and forth to the hospital. At every step they were available and involved - a "What else can we do?" attitude. We are from Oklahoma, and are used to exemplary neighbors. We are not used to finding that attitude away from home. Kudos to the the staff and manager for taking a personal interest in a problem beyond their responsibilities. We would go out of our way to stay there again.

The people that work here are the nicest and most understanding people I have ever dealt with in the hotel industry. I had a nightmare situation with priceline where I was on the phone for 2 hours trying to figure out why priceline had my reservation all messed. The front desk lady, Christina, was very sweet and helped me as much as possible throughout the whole ordeal. Long story short, priceline canceled my reservation without telling me and the General Manager here, Troy, was so nice and understanding that he gave me a room for an extremely good deal compared to what I originally paid for on priceline and then took care of getting my refund back for me this morning while I ate breakfast. If you decide to stay in Las Vegas, New Mexico then this is the place to stay. Fantastic customer service and beautifully clean rooms :)

hotel is mostly updated and clean. Modern facilities and spacious. Hot breakfast. The say queen beds but ours were only full. The hot tub railing was broken and they had a sign taped to it and caution tape. We specifically requested a NON PET FRIENDLY room and unfortunately they feel that cleaning and spraying is the same as non pet friendly rooms. So this causing allergy and sinus issues for a traveler. We decided since we specified this several times that this is the same for all rooms in the hotel. The did offer an evening soup - complimentary. .that was a nice gesture. In my party some we content and gave it a 4 and others in my party would only give it a 2

Convenient to interstate. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful with directions to dining options and Walmart. Our room and the overall property were clean. Breakfast was above average in its offerings. The guest laundry room could use a chair. There is no place to dine within walking distance.

Love the "Plus" BWs- room was very roomy. Bed comfy & shower head was huge. Breakfast included lots of options & opened up at 6 AM. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the door (entry) was hung wrong and was extremely difficult to open. Not sure if all doors had that problem... if there was settling after the hotel was built, that would affect a lot of doors.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a large group with us and everyone also had a great experience. The pool area was very nice and clean. We will definitely continue to stay at this hotel in the future.

We stayed here because we were bringing our son to New Mexico Highlands University for Freshman Orientation. I was glad that this Best Western was so close to the campus. I will be staying here again in the future.

I would like to give this hotel 5 stars, but not everyone can be happy. Let me start by saying the staff has been very professional and tried to be accommodating. Everything started when my family and I checked in yesterday and went up to our room. The second we opened the door, we were hit by the smell of dog urine. I own two large dogs myself and can understand some animal smell. After all, this hotel is pet friendly. But the last thing I want to smell when I am paying for a room on a family vacation is dog pee! I am very surprised that housekeeping let that room slide for "clean". The gentleman at the desk apologized and gave us a new room on the same floor, different hallway. Problem solved right!? Nope! The new room is right next to the elevator. Now I listen to "ding" and the conversations and kids screaming all night while the guests wait for the elevator to come to the second floor. Now hear I am at 6:15 am, on vacation with my family laying in bed listening to the people, or heard of animals in the room above me that have been pacing for the last hour. Time to get up and go home. I understand that some of this is completely out of the control of the hotel however, it started with dog pee in my first room. I'm sure this made me a bit sensitive. I travel a lot for work and am a diamond elite member with BW. This has been the worst experience by far at a BW hotel.

Told on the phone when making reservations that the place is "Very clean" Wow, the place was anything but clean. Our shoes stuck to the filthy floor in our bathroom. Obviously they realized that tourists just pass through town, so they may never see them again... So who cares... Right? Well we recommend you don't waste your time, or money at this place!

Our room was very clean & roomy. Bed was very comfortable. Snack in evening was welcome as we had traveled many miles. The soup & crackers in evening was just right as the weather was stormy & we didn't want to venture out to get something to eat!

We stopped here while traveling in New Mexico. Great downtown area with restaurants. The hotel was super clean, very friendly staff with good recommendations for dinner. The room was spacious and the towels were the best we have used in a week of hotels. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good mini pancakes and the usual cereal, beagles, fruit. Would recommend this place.

The room was okay, price a little high for a basic room. Started off with the key card machine not working at the front desk so staff had to unlock the door for us. Our bathroom door was very hard to close and open due to the floor being uneven. Fridge didn't work that well and the cooler had to be cranked way up to work. Room was clean and staff was helpful. The bed was very comfortable and parking lot was not crowded. The breakfast in the morning was okay but for a good breakfast you might want to eat out. The pool area was nice.

So comfortable and clean. The only thing would be the breakfast must have been very good because there was no seating. The tv reception was not good. but the rest of the stay was wonderful.I will definetly be staying at this hotel again in the future. The area was very quiet with very little traffic.

This is the second time in the last few months I have stayed at this hotel. It is very clean, staff friendly and helpful and in a location that is easy to access. We will be staying there again in a few weeks. This Bestwestern will easily be our "go to" location when we visit Las Vegas, NM.

Went to Las Vegas for the 4th of July weekend. I'm in Las Vegas NM several times a year I have family that live there but like to rent a room for the comfort and I do have little ones so renting a hotel room just makes it all a little bit easier. I usually stay at the Holiday inn express but decided to try out the Best Western other family members were also renting rooms there. Wow big mistake! The room was clean but the room was also very hot the air didn't work we told the front desk they said they would fix it they did nothing the tv says they have many channels but only had maybe 7 I guess they forgot to pay the cable bill the wifi didn't work very good and it wasn't just our room. All and all not very great they are much more expensive and definitely not worth it. Gave it a try but most likely not going back.

This is an above average BW hotel. We very disappointed in the internet and the internet technical support personnel. In all my years of business and leisure travel I have never not been able to get on the internet. I guess there is a first for everything. Also the seating for breakfast is insufficient.

I live in Las Vegas, NV. I know good service. I came to visit historical family sites and to meet previously unknown family members. I had easy access to everything I wanted to see. The service and staff were the best. I loved my room and the food was great (free breakfast). I would come here again in a heartbeat. Thanks.

The service was horrible. There for the 4th of july festivities. Nt enough staff to properly clean rooms I guess. For the amount of money they raised the rates for the 4th, the service should have been much better than it was. They also put a hold on my credit card without my permission even though I paid cash

From start to finish a very positive experience. The staff the cleanliness, the food and the recreation center were all first class. Everything appeared to be brand new. If given the opportunity I would stay at this location again.

The BW Hotel was close tot he highway and to our destination the next morning Hotel & room were clean and staff was friendly. Bed was NOT comfortable. Breakfast was good but many items already "out" when 30 minutes still remained on the brief (6am - 9am) mealtime.

The room was very nice. As most hotels do, your Kleenex box has all of 5 tissues. Breakfast was good, but limited seating. Get a room on first floor and just go back to eat in room. Very friendly staff. I'll be checking best western for future trips...this was our first trip and we were pleased with the cleanliness and staff.

Las Vegas, New Mexico is an unusual. It is surprisingly busy. Our room was nice but a little dated ( no USB ports on the lamps and worn furniture). It just was not the quality I expected. The phone was broken and it was obvious they did not know. Our room was on the third floor so our room was hot when we arrived. It did not cool for several hours. We were located in what i thought was a quiet end of the hall with only a storage room. During the night there was a lot of talking in the hallway and there was a smell of cigarettes.

The room was wonderful, except that the TV and internet didn't work very well. The major negative was the noise--seriously, door banging by inconsiderate quests was a major negative! Even with the door banging--I would stay at this motel again.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Las Vegas, NM for two nights. The hotel was very accessible from I 40. The service was impeccable. There was plenty of parking for a truck and trailer. Thank you for a great stay.

First of all get some better mattresses. The staff was very helpful and pleasant I did not like that they had a dog running from behind the counter and also in the eating area and in the kitchen where they prepared breakfast my daughter is very allergic to dogs not everybody are animal people and especially not where you serve breakfast or prepare it

The room was alright. The pool water was cold. The elevator was filth. We notified the staff about the elevator problem, but the problem was ignored. We have stayed at this hotel before and have been happy with everything. This time it seemed like there was new staff or new management that didn't take as much pride in the property.

Very good experience overall. The hotel was nice, staff very professional and accommodations were met in a timely fashion. I didn't particularly care for the location or views but as far as the hotel itself, it met my expectations.

This particular Best Western has become our place of choice whenever we visit Las Vegas, which is every so often. Our room was comfortable, and especially quiet. When it was built, they obviously spent some money soundproofing as there was no Interstate noise or train noise, even though both were nearby. While there, a college team was located on our floor, and having been in college ourselves, we weren't too pleased at the prospect of a night with the team. We were pleasantly surprised however that at precisely 10:00 p.m., silence descended on the floor and there was no sound or sign that they were even in the building. For that, we were thankful. We are always greeted in a friendly manner, and our needs are always met. We will return to this facility on our next visit.

Well cared for motel. Very sincere friendly staff. The rooms were clean. I wish they would put a place to put morning coffee next to the easy chair. There was a coffee stain on the carpet as someone must have tried to put coffee on the room heater. The sink had a minor clog. I told the front desk when we were checking out. The wrote down the room # and the problem. My guess it is fixed by now.

I have stayed at this Best Western Plus previously. I enjoyed my stay then so I thought I'd give it another try. Once again, everything was great! Check in, the room, bedding, cleanliness, breakfast and check out were all great. If you get the opportunity to stay here, I would not hesitate.

The hotel was obviously newly renovated so it was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I booked a handicapped room in error, so the bathroom was a bit funky, but fine. The other quirky thing was there was this huge empty tiled space in the room. ( wheelchair?) Anyway, appreciated the 2 comfortable chairs provided, luggage carriers and friendly staff. The breakfast had hot items and was continuously replenished. (Not an easy thing to do when you have a College Baseball team partaking.) The only negative was the WIFI took 20 minutes to connect. There weren't coffee makers in the room, but plenty of hot coffee in the lobby.

not the usual quality of Best Western Plus. Odd to have it seem clean and comfortable but at same time linens and bedding were mediocre. And, unfortunately walls and floors carry rather than block sound. I'd barely rate it Best Western quality and certainly not "Plus."

Very nice motel for the $$. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. A good value. Will stay there again. The staff was friendly and it is close to the freeway for easy access. We didn't use any of the motel facilities because we had driven all day and were very tired. This review requires 200 characters and I'll just say that we will be sure and stop here next year when we travel thru the area.

I stayed at this hotel twice over the last month. Everything was good and I would recommend this hotel. It was clean with comfortable beds free wifi, pool, and breakfast. Not much to do in this town but easy access to and from the highway. Great price for the rooms as well.

This hotel is surprisingly nice, and it's very reasonably priced for what you get. I stayed in a mini-suite with a small sitting area and couch, as well as two TVs -- one for watching in bed and one for the sitting area. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've had all year, and the room was squeaky clean. Also, the staff here is superb. They were very friendly and well-informed, giving good advice and directions for getting around town.

Thank goodness we found Best Western Plus hotel on Trip Advisor a day before we stayed there. The expansive entry with marble looking flooring made a good impression. The hallways, rooms and breakfast area were squeaky clean. The room was well decorated. Breakfast included rolls, cereal, hot food, fruit and yogurt. I recommend this nice hotel.

The Best Western Montezuma is clean and comfortable, and easy access from I-25. The downfall during our stay was our room being at the end of a first-floor hallway right next to an exterior door. I was kept awake much of the night listening to that door slam repeatedly as other guests moved in and out. There was a great deal of noise from above as well. Unfortunately, I did not sleep well, but I imagine other rooms in the hotel are more comfortable. Continental breakfast was the usual buffet spread (cereal, toast, pastries, eggs, etc). This was a brief stay while passing through town so we did not check out the pool or any other amenities.

I've stayed here a few times and other than the exception of a few employees who are grumpy about something from time to time, the overall stay is great. Newer facility and very clean. Great pool, lobby and gym. Beware!!! Not much to do in Las Vegas, NM...LOL

Hotel was as expected, nice, clean, beds were comfortable. overall it was a good place to stay and I would stay there again next time I travel through the area . easy to get to off the highway. a couple of food choices near the hotel and with in easy walking distance. the hotel is outside of the main part of the city and requires a car to get ti the Centro to check it out.

The halls were dirty, and during the night our heater froze up and it got cold and when I told the lady at checkout she just shrugged her shoulders and did nothing. If they don't need our business we will be glad to take it else where. We belong to Best Western's club. And if they don't want to take care of us any better than this, we'll be glad to move on.

This facility was very good and our stay was quite pleasant but a couple of very minor issues (not enough to complain about) prevent me from rating it more than a 4. A small blood spot on the edge of the bed sheet was visible (it had clearly been washed but the stain remained). The nice flat screen TV had only a 'low def' picture.

Stayed one night. Check-in was easy, the rate was reasonable, the staff was most kind and professional, the room was clean and modern. Lots of parking, close to several restaurants. 2 min to I-25, 5 min to the railroad station, abt 10 min to UWC-USA. Definitely one of the best modern hotels in Las Vegas NM.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and kind. We had a great stay! The rooms were nice and the bed was nice! Pillows and bedding were good quality. Our only regret was that we stayed only one night!

We had a pleasant vacation at Vegas and in Western Montezuma. The staff is very welcoming and courteous which I liked a lot. The breakfast was very good and we liked the evening soups. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. All I can say is that we had no bad experience at all, jus a great stay overall!

I booked this hotel on Priceline. We were on our way from Illinois to Tucson. It appears to be quite new or recently renovated. I've been pleasantly surprised with B. W. hotels in the west lately. The hotel is near the Interstate with easy on/off access, but is far enough away that you don't hear the roar of vehicles all night. The room is oversized compared to most hotels, with a very comfy king bed. Parking is away from the rooms, so you don't hear cars and trucks coming and going to and from the hotel. The bathroom was large, well appointed and well stocked. The heater/air conditioner was newer and very quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful and recommended local restaurants. The breakfast offered the usual fare, with hot items being the typical waffle and scrambled eggs and sausage patties. The sausage and eggs were prepared too far in advance and were already overdone 15 minutes after the start of breakfast. Cleanliness was top notch. Though a bit pricey, I'd stay here again if I pass through this part of New Mexico.

Las Vegas, New Mexico, was a good first night stopover while traveling from Phoenix back to Mn. This hotel is a gem!! The rooms were beautiful and the pool area (Sauna) was great. The staff is Awesome.

The hotel was clean and friendly, however the people across the hall from us were cogarette smokers. After our second complaint we were offered a different room, however it was 9:45 and we were unpacked and in bed. We were awoken at 6:30 to more cigarette smoke. Another complaint was called down. We finally left the hotel earlier than planned. After 4 complaints, we were not offered any discount and paid regular price for our smoked filled smoke free room. We wondered if the smokers were charged any extra.

For a few extra dollars, a nicer experience than the Super 8, Days Inn level. Did not access the breakfast or the later snack that was offered. The newer Best Western and Holiday Inn Express hotels are very similar in quality, in my experience.

We enjoyed our overnight stay, it was very clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and efficient. The only problem was the shower. It was a handicap room and the shower was hand held. The tubing leaked which made the water pressure very low. It was way too late to change rooms, so we did our best and went to sleep. That would not be enough to keep me away. I will stay there again if passing through Las Vegas again.

Nice, welcoming staff who greet you with a smile--the value of this cannot be underestimated. Very clean hotel with plenty of perks. I especially enjoyed the soup in the evening. I expected it to be underwhelming, but it was really quite good, especially since it was about 14 degrees outside when we arrived. The breakfast overall was good, but my first serving of eggs was cold. I got a fresh serving when the buffet was restocked about 10 minutes later. The only thing missing was potatoes--these are important to me as a vegetarian. It would have been nice to have some with my eggs. Got a great rate with AAA and my stay was fantastic!

The bed and pillows were comfy. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast selections were plentiful. I literally have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Just wish i was staying longer, and not just passing through.

We had come to Las Vegas New Mexico to just relax. We were staying at another motel and the room was just too small so we were ready to go back home and decided to just check out this Best Western motel. We met the manager, Troy Denison, and convinced us we should stay for a couple of nights to try them. Best decision - room was big, clean and comfortable. Also all of the staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was extensive and very good. ALSO they had soup each evening. We ended up staying three days more than we had planned because of the big snow storm at Christmas, 2015. Will definitely be back!!

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this motel is. Its funishings are relatively new, parking is adequate, hallways were clean. Our heater did not work at first, but within five minutes, a woman came to our roo to reset it. The breakfasts were more than adequate - cereals, yogurts, fruit, pancakes or waffles, eggs, sausage, juices - plenty of variety. We appreciated that we could have our pets stay with us and did not object to the extra fee. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a NEW and comfortable Best Western, The staff were wonderful and most helpful. The fitness center is full service-pool area refreshing and breakfast delicious. If we are ever in that area again we would make sure to stay there again.

Great motel. Great town. Room was incredibly clean and the staff was most helpful. I checked out early, before breakfast, and night person at the desk put together a plate of danish to take with me. Nice pool and work out facilities. All in all I was very pleased.

The hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. In addition to a nice warm swimming pool, relaxing whirl pool and sauna they have a fitness room. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast even included one of the new pancake machines that makes fresh pancakes on demand. I would stay there again. Added bonus, they serve an evening snack at 6pm. It was soup the night we were there.

One of the nicest Best Westerns we have visited. The lobby and breakfst area are lovely with a beautiful fireplace, a crockpot of soup , coffee and tea to greet you. Breakfast is beautifully displayed. Rooms are nicely decorated and offer lovely amenities. Internet is very reliable. We always spend a night here on the way to Denver.

on way to Denver and stopped here on the way everything was great would stay here if going through Las Vegas again and in need of a place to stay it was clean and employee's were pleasant and helpful it was the best best western I have ever stayed at would recommend it for anyone to stay

The staff was so helpful they went out of the way to assist us. Our car broke down and we landed up having to spend the night. They made it more enjoyable and relaxing vs the stressful stay of having no car.

I was travelling from Las Cruces to Denver and stayed here in the interim to my final destination. The staff was very nice and my room on the first floor was great. I had a room with a tub and I took a luxuriating bath with bath salts. fantastic.

Great staff. Rooms good, Quiet and professional. I always try to stay at the Best Western when I am in Las Vegas overnight. Easy access, quick service and helpful. Beds comfortable, breakfast hot and always ready on time.

We attended a family reunion and memorial in Las Vegas, NM Oct 29-31 2015. This small town has many attractions. It is very historical. The Best Western Montezuma is a newer hotel and is the best looking and cleanest hotel that we have ever experienced anywhere in the Western U.S. It has many amenities; excellent computer area, on site laundry and large fitness room. The password controlled Wi-Fi works great. Breakfast variety is very good; and suitable for all ages. The hotel shuttle is available for in-town and airport transport. The host and staff are polite, friendly and gracious. The Montezuma will be our home; away from home, when we visit there again

all is good....better breakfast is needed. the pool was clean and everything there was as it should be. The bath towels were not as soft as they should have been but overall...good job.this is a good place to stay we liked it a lot. We would stay again without hesitation when or if we make this kind of trip again

We had not stayed over night in Las Vegas in a very long time though we had eaten at the hotel in old town many times. We were traveling with friends who had stayed here, and we loved it. Near the highway and a railroad track, but very quite. Good breakfast. Clean. Comfortable. Will stay here again.

This is a decent hotel, especially for the price. Nice and clean with decent beds. Noise carries a bit. We hit the wall and couldn't make Albuquerque. There wasn't a large selection of reasonably new hotels in town. Happy to find this one.

I was told a price deal when registering and come to find out @ check out it wasn't given on my receipt. Not Happy with the customer service I received @ registration Desk. I will not be going back there.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Best motel in Las Vegas, NM - highly recommended. Room smelled clean and the linens are clean and fresh. Convenient to the interstate. Ask for the top floor for a quieter experience.

For all its flaws and there are a few this is still the best bet in town . Nice rooms in general. Great breakfast complete with green chile sauce ! Busy place on weekends but still the best bet in Las Vegas.

The rooms are very comfortable. Price is a bit high. The staff was welcoming. But the breakfast employee she was the best! Staying here makes you feel at home. Too bad the oil field guests ruin it for all. They trash everything. It's a wonder they're called "Oilfield Trash".

I had booked this place sight unseen before leaving work in ABQ on a Friday afternoon, so I was a little unsure of what awaited me. Pleasant surprise! Clean rooms, nice comfortable bed...just wish the weather had been nicer. Wasn't blown away or anything, but the staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was more than adequate and definitely clean and modern. My only issue is that the Days Inn next door is clearly owned by the same people that own this Best Western, and I had stayed there a few weeks prior and definitely not been impressed. If they put in whatever magic mix they put into the Best Western they would have two great hotels instead of just one.

motel was easy access from roadway, rooms cleans and good service. This is the second time we have stayed there. Came from Minnesota on our way to Arizona. will do reverse in the Spring. Would like to see a better breakfast. Eggs were cold and hard. Need bagels maybe or cream cheeses. Maybe bisquets ad gravy or such.

I really enjoyed this hotel and what it had to offer. When we arrived, they had hot soup (minestrone) in the lobby for us to enjoy. It was great! Our bed was super comfortable as well. Had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The climate control unit did not work and they knew it beforehand. The wonderful lady at the front desk had to advise several guests on how to operate it to get cool air. This should have been disclosed upon check in. We had no quality air conditioning at night. Yes, they offered to send a maintenance man after we had retired for the evening after a long drive. Neither my wife or I slept much that night. They reduced the rate $25. Whoopee! The manager, Tony (or Troy) , would not call me back after I requested that he do so at 7pm that night. Do not stay here. Also, there is no climate vent in the bathroom.

I was impressed with the pool and hot tub area. Very clean. Towels where short but it was late at night and time to close the pool area. The breakfast was better then expected. All the common areas where clean and comfortable.

Excellent Quality, Professional Staff. We were road-tripping and this was perfect for our overnight stay. Rooms was clean and quiet, public spaces and parking were well maintained, staff was friendly and competent. It was a safe and relaxing location.
