Best Western Plus KC Speedway Inn & Suites

Oof, where do I start. I used to stay at this hotel regularly several years ago. I don't think anything has been updated, fixed, or even really maintained since the last time I was here about 4 years ago. It's such a great location and building, so I find that incredibly disappointing. We stayed for 4 days. The first day, the pool was very warm and the hot tub was very hot. (Almost too warm, on both accounts.) The water level of both was very low, 6-12 in lower than it should have been. The 2nd day the pool area smelled like sewage and they closed the pool to run chemicals. The 3rd and 4th days it smelled like sewage, the pool was cold, and the hot tub was frigid. Our first room, the AC didn't work and when it was almost 80 degrees in there the first night, we asked to switch rooms. Our 2nd room the AC worked marginally better, was intermittent, and you couldn't adjust the temperature on the thermostat. So it was either freezing while on or sweltering while off. The microwave didn't work and the shower didn't drain so you took a shower and a bath at the same time. Breakfast was awful the first day, but it was really good the other days so we must have just gotten the end of service and cold, hard food. The breakfast area is definitely not efficient so there's a lot of waiting and getting out of peoples' way, but the food was decent. All in all, the staff was wonderful. Every single person we spoke with and dealt with was fantastic, so kudos to all of you! The hotel itself needs some major attention and maintenance. As much as my kids loved the slide, I don't think we will ever stay here again.

The wifi here seems to be run by carrier pigeon. The “pool” is an oversized hot tub, just large enough for coming off the slide and for some reason as hot as the actual hot tub. (Uncomfortably so, we had to pull the kids out when they started looking flushed.) The key reader on the back door didn't work, and there was no bedding for the pullout couch (we had to go get it ourselves.) The room was clean & the breakfast lady was very nice, but overall this was a disappointing experience

AC didn't work. WiFi was no working probably. Couldn't get any sleep cause of construction downstairs. None of the features by the tv work so I couldn't watch my tv or work on my laptop. It was the worst experience ever

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. Issues with heat and broken shower and had to move rooms. We reserved rooms together and they put us on different floors. Trash outside elevator all weekend.

No pool, no ice, no clean water to drink. We stayed here due to the pool and they told us at check in it was closed for the night and they would let me know the next day. Still closed the next day adn the morning person said if she would have know she would have directed us to the sister hotel with a working pool for our kids bday. A day too late. No ice working. No filtered in the rooms working. Barely any hot breakfast left for guests the next morning. Extremely under whelming experience.

This place was interesting to say the least. Pool was not working which seems to be a regular thing. The front desk staff didn't tell us when we checked in and we even asked where the pool was, so we checked in and immediately got on our swimsuits only to find it was closed and “the GM was on the way” which was a saying to pacify everyone. I think the dishonesty from the get go out a bad taste in our mouth. It might be fine for a nights stay but do not take your kids because they will be disappointed!!

I have been a guest at this hotel since 2012. Always a pleasure to be greeted by name. It's like a family. My frequent stay at this hotel has been due to family illness. Professionalism, care, concern and every deed to insure my comfort. Love the breakfast (best around). The waffles are great, REAL SAUSAGE, fresh fruit, waffles complete with real fruit and toppings, Oatmeal, gravy boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit. Cold juice and hot coffee.....what a morning feast.

We have stayed at this property many times. Always a good experience. This last time had a few minor things, like not able to get a key when we checked, had one under the door in the morning. Bathroom need some minor repairs.

Everytime we check into this place something is wrong with the room. This time we went to the bathroom and water instantly started pouring from the back of the toilet. Got another room and the toilet broke. The place used to be nice and staff is great but it's got a moldy smell and place is falling apart. We are no longer staying here.

Johnny was checking us in. He was friendly and very accommodating to the request of the guests. In the morning he was again at work with a smile and a positive attitude. He was not only helping the guest his cook was not able to show up for his job, so he stepped in and did the food preparations as well. Once the breakfast rush calmed down he was mopping floors and filling the drink nook up with cold water, tea and coffee. Not once did he respond with any negative words when guests made comments. The rooms were clean and the beds were soft. He was one man doing three different jobs! He never said, That's not my job.” What he said was, I don't mind working, things happen and it needs to be done!” I would recommend you try this hotel. Lots of shops nearby!

The hotel was rated as a 4 star but this location was unclean, unfriendly, and the elevator was missing the 1st floor button. The breakfast was gross and the appliances were not working properly. Will never stay here again! Not worth the money I spent.

We did not stay at this hotel. We arrived to check in, were checked in, and then told they did not have the room we reserved and they did not have any rooms to accommodate us. As a loyal Best Western customer who is a Diamond Select member, and someone who had spent 8 hours traveling on the road with my three kids, I was very upset that we did not have a room. So at 7 at night we were forced to call to at least a dozen other hotels in the area to find no rooms available. We eventually had to travel another 30 miles down the road to another hotel who had only one room left for the night. I spoke with the Front Desk Manager Garrett the next morning who told us a room was available and the front desk should have made something work for us to stay. I also spoke with the General Manager Nicki the next morning and was informed that the person working the desk the night before had been fired. Nicki also said she would be giving us member points to cover a nights stay because of what we were put through. I have only seen 10,000 points, not nearly enough for a nights stay. We would not recommend this property, but would actually advise Best Western to remove it from their family.

Had a family reunion here. The rooms weren't cleaned properly and some smelled very bad, had food left on the floor, suspicious wet areas on the chairs. Air conditioner did not work in our room. When we were assigned to a different room the next day, they assigned it to someone else too who walked in on us. Staff tried to help but obviously did not have the tools or resources to do their job. I suggest staying anywhere else.

Check in was quick and staff was very friendly I had a terrible stay at a Best Western in KC Missouri lately , but I booked this in spite of that stay The whole staff was very nice and the room was clean and nicely appointed. Great location, close to many nice restaurants and attractions Breakfast was good and fresh Will stay here next time I am in the area

Darryl was maybe the only good thing about this hotel. From the time we got there in the evening he was friendly and overly helpful. However every other part of our stay was terrible. We stayed in a room on the 200 level and directly above us was what sounded like a heard of elephants until 2-3 in the morning. Bangs on the floor so loud it sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. The kids above us were running and jumping all over their room the hallway and the stairwell next to our room. They kept me my husband and our 2 and 4 year old up most the night. We called the front desk and went down to her 3-4 times. We took videos of what looked to be 12-14 years olds running around on the stairwell and hallways at around 1am. The lady at the front desk asked them multiple times to quiet down and told me the last time at about 2:45am that if she had to go again she would ask them to leave. The next morning she brought the manger to talk to us during check out and she lied to her manager and claimed she went up and listened but never heard anything so never knocked on their door to ask them to be quiet, however every time she went up to their room the night before they conveniently quieted down for 10-15 minutes before running and jumping again. The manager we dealt with in the morning seemed very put out by us and even made a comment about how the front desk lady called to wake her up in the middle of the night when she was trying to sleep to tell her about what was going on-gee I'm so sorry your sleep was interrupted. She made no attempt to rectify the situation we asked for a refund or discount of some kind and eventually she said she could offer us some “points”. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.

The staff have no idea what they are doing. The place is dirty. Multiple cases of bed bugs. They don't care about customer satisfaction. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. When this issue was brought up to the property manager, they were more concerned with whether or not the mattress had a mattress cover and proceeded to tell us that another room just reported bed bugs as well.

Save yourself the trouble and just don't!!!! Our first room was 85 degrees. The second room had a full bathroom trash can, half used toilet paper, and the previous guests hair still in the bath tub!!!! The only positive of the hotel was the pleasant worker that was dealing with all the complaints, working the bar and trying to keep the hotel together! Darryl deserves 5 stars, but that's all. It was gross trash was over flowing in the breakfast area and it was so dirty! The gym was shut down, definitely no spa!!!!!

We went for a weekend getaway with family to visit the Grey wolf Lodge/KC. Rooms were booked at Grey Wolf. We joined the family group at the last minute….so we were unable to stay lodge and thought there's a BW Premier KC Speedway Inn& Suites across the street. It does not look to bad from the online profile and it has decent reviews. Well maybe now I know the truth! I have first hand experience! It started when we first tried checking in, we were told we did not have a reservation; when we in fact did. The staff member did apologize for overlooking the reservation; as we stated it could be in my sister in law's name or along with my husband's name. He double checked and then located the reservation. We went to the first room where there were issues with bathroom. The toilet seat was completely unattached from the base of the toilet ,and it looked as if the room had not been cleaned. Also, several lights did not work within the bedroom of the king room. The same staff person, apologized and moved us to another room on the same floor(2nd floor) . We entered this room to find that it had not been cleaned as well. There was hair(not ours) in the face bowl, and shower area. There was also white powdery substance on the arm of the sofa in the sitting area. We tried to use phone in the room to call the front desk and learned it did not work. So my husband had to go the desk again. This time, Darryl a different employee came up and verified the status of the room. That we were not making the conditions up! We took pictures. He was very apologetic, but needless to say by this time I was ready to leave this property. Needless to say this was my first time staying at a Best Western and my absolute last!!! Needless to say we had been on the road over 5hours getting there in a bad storm. So, all I wanted was a clean safe room. Darryl, ask us to give him one more chance to find a room in the property that would work. Needless to say by this time it is after 10:00pm. We stated the check-in process at 8:50pm. My husband was then escorted by Darryl, to three additional rooms! The first room that he assured my husband he would be pleased with had other guest on the room. They almost walked in on! Then the next room the air conditioner did not work!!! Finally, a double which was the best they could off with a patio. By this time it was a little after 10:00pm. At this point I was so exhausted and unhappy! The room was clean, but it had a bad smell!! It was almost as if there was water damage or per odor!! This was like the trip from HELL. Luckily there was a Walmart less than 5mins away!! I told my husband take me to Walmart so I can purchase stuff to clean and sanitize this room!!! Needless to say I cleaned the room and purchased air fresheners to survive the next 24hours!!! When we came down the next morning. We learned that the original person we dealt with was the property/hotel manager. He and the GM cleaned the room with the white substance themselves that morning. They confirmed that the substance could have possibly been a drug…and that they were sorry we had the experience. The offered to compensate us for the stay. They offered to sign us up for their rewards program and comp most of the stay, but we would have to pay the local, state, and federal taxes. Needless to say to our surprise when we checked out the Property Manager was working and informed my husband they only agreed to comp us one nights stay. I told him, “ I really did not say much, but this was my first time staying in a BW, and that it would be my last time, this was not was understood nor stated. Perhaps moving forward they should provide the customer with documentation and make it crystal clear what compensation they are offering for the inconvenience.” I told him I stay in 4-5 star hotels I do not do Best Westerns he said to me….I don't stay in Best Westerns myself! So if you don't believe in your brand why should we? Do you think we should have been charged $248.71 ? For what? I booked a king room! I ended up in a double after five tries…and being lied to. If this is the BW Promise good luck to all of you, who stay in these properties. I thought I could do anything for 48hours but you could not pay me in the future to stay in one of these. I have nothing nice to say about them. Except I did not see any four leg bugs or critters. I guess that's one positive.

The TV did not work. The manager quickly came up to help, but was not able to solve the problem. The clock radio was broken. The ice machine was not functioning and nor was the pool. The room was clean and somewhat quiet. The breakfast was great.

We walked in & there was a Christmas tree decorated with Valentine's day decorations. Seemed a little strange, but they said that they were going to keep it up all year & decorate according to the season. The lobby was nice. There was free coffee across from the check-in desk. The room was laid out nice, but it was not clean. There was a candy wrapper left on the ledge of the room divider & there was a streamer & left-over tape on the ceiling. I could see smudges on the tables. They left the wash cloths on the toilet tank. We did not use them because of this. There is a water slide, which looked really neat. Unfortunately, the pool was closed. Not sure why. The location is good. It's right across the street from the soccer field. We had a view of the stadium.

The hotel was very nice. It has a lot of seating areas where guests can meet up. The pool has a slide that my kids absolutely loved. The rooms are very spacious. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and especially if you have kids.

TV in the king suite did not work if angled at all. WIFI would work at the front desk but never in my room. Pool was foggier than a Scooby Doo movie. Breakfast was below expectations. Have been there the past three years and every year it is worse.

Avoid this hotel at ALL costs! Barring a significant turnover in management, staff, and attitude, you would be well-served to take your business to other properties in the KC area. There is just a genuine lack of care and concern fostered by the staff. The breakfast lady was truly the only redeeming thing about this joke of a property. How dare BW advertise this crap-hole as a "Premier" location!? The shame!

Pool was out of service, no cribs available, front desk associate could not help with anything, phone did not work, large outlets fell out of the wall, towel hook fell out of wall. Management did not help.

From the time of arrival this was not set to be a good stay. Rooms were not ready, hallways smelled of sewage, pool was broken, bar was shut down. When getting into the room toiletries were used, sheets were ripped and not cleaned, sound system / electronics were outdated and falling apart. Overall - Would take an Uber and stay farter away from stadium to avoid staying here ever again.

We arrived to find out this whole hotel in under renovation. The pool and hot tub are out of order. The bar was never open and no drinks available. The shuttle they claimed to have from the airport is no longer in service. The fridge in our room didn't work. I tried to add a night to our reservation multiple times and was told “I can't do that, the manager has to do it and will call you back” just to not have anyone call me back and I had to call 4 separate times in order to get lucky enough to catch the manager actually on duty. I have never written a bad review about a place but this place was so poorly run I had to.

I stayed here with my wife and 5 yo daughter. The room was dirty, door lol broken, floor was sticky, hot tub broken, ice machines not available, food was gas station quality, pool grungy, weight machine broken, and the staff didn't seem to want to be bothered with requests.

My room had bedbugs. Saw several crawling on the bed as I sat there. Looked under mattress and around the bed on the floor…definitely a problem. I asked to switch rooms and was given a new one a floor up. This one was clean but if you can find another place to stay, don't risk staying here. Reviews mentioning bed bugs go back 2 years, so seems like no one is actually taking care of the issue. There are lots of other hotels in the area. Skip this one.

Promised us a pool yet there was no pool. The dead cock roach in the room was a welcoming guest. Food was below average for a best western. Pool was closed which was the entire reason we choose our hotel.

Pool closed with no warning at booking and they did nothing to provide options. Room smelled like smoke in the walls/carpet. Very disappointed in this experience and wish they would have even provided an ounce of customer service in helping us with options for our two little kids.

High end priced hotel with uncomfortable beds, and terrible front desk service. Was late to engagement due to spending 20 minutes trying to find front desk person to check out. Then found the parking slip had to be returned to avoid a $2.50 fee. Fee is ridiculous on a photocopied sheet that was dated and could not be used for anything else. Had to go back in and wait another ten min for front desk person to reappear. Much better service, comfort and value at other hotels in the Legends area.

Disrespectful staff when I arrived for check in. The rooms stunk ice machine was broke, toilet was broke, water pressure was bad, back door wouldn't shut/ lock… You get the idea I could keep going……..

Don't stay here. The room smelled awful. The walls are dirty. Hair all over the bathroom from the previous person. Pools closed until further notice and they won't disclose why it's closed. There was no notification that the pool was closed. Only good thing was it is right across the street from the soccer stadium.

Just about everything was as good as it gets. An exceptionally friendly staff. Kudos to the whole bunch. We were really tired when we realized that we'd not been given the wifi directions, which made us roll our eyes--I had to get up and go downstairs to get it. I'm sure giving it to us was something the guy at the front desk--a really nice guy--simply forgot.

The main purpose my family picked this hotel was because of the pool. The first day the water was below the level it should have been and was dirty. The following day the pool was drained and water was back to normal but the pool was closed every day until 5pm and had to find other things for my kids to do since they could not go swimming like we had planed

Make sure all things are in top notch working condition; ESPECIALLY THE AC, the room has COMPLETELY been cleaned (food and beverage left in room by previous guests, treat guests that are in front of you with sense of urgency over a phone call

I brought my daughter and her friend to this hotel for her 16th birthday. The room had bugs and the TV did not work after repeated calls to the front desk with the promise we will be up in just a few minutes and noone came up. We then went to the pool and it was so over chlorinated that it burned your eyes just to walk in the room. Still trying to make the best of it we stayed and hoped they would correct the issues. I had to call the front desk 2 times just to get enough pool towels for the people in the pool. We then went back to our room and ordered food. They called the room to advise the food had arrived but failed to mention the elevator was broken down after we last used it. They called my cell phone after I waited for the elevator for 5 minutes to ask if I was coming to get my food. My daughter has arthritis and uses and cane and we left. They of course apologized when I was leaving but offered no solutions.

Our blanket was absolutely disgusting, we held it up and it was filled with brown stuff. It was a down comforter that was supposed to be white. We were told the pool would be open upon check in but it was closed for maintenance. The whole hotel smelled like sewage. The sink and tub drained so slowly if at all, so we had to stand in water to shower.

The room was dirty and the hotel looked worn down inside. We were missing a curtain and with all the light outside, we used a blanket to cover the window. There was no soap/body wash to even wash your hands. The pool was fun though if a bit small. It had a fun water slide.

We came to KC for a Sporting KC game and this hotel is perfect for that--literally right across the street after an easy exit off the interstate. Property is well-maintained and attractive inside and out. Parking lot was clean as were all interior spaces. ALL employees encountered form check-in, through breakfast to check-out were friendly and efficient. I could easily see us staying here again for a game or just passing through on our way elsewhere as we live a day's travel away.

Room was clean, was a bug but all hotels have bugs. TV was a pain but spent more time in pool with fun slide. Breakfast was fantastic. Friendly staff. Great location. We enjoy staying at this location. Thankful I was able to get a discounted rate with a group because otherwise extremely pricey.

The free breakfast was a joke. There was not much of a selection and not restocked once empty. Breakfast area was not clean. There was a strange sewer type smell permeated our room and parts of hotel. The day desk clerk spent more time with her face in her cell than helping. The hotel's only saving grace was the night clerk who was helpful which is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1.

Located just off Exit 13B of I435, west of Kansas City, adjacent to Kansas City Speedway and near Community American Ballpark. (Great Walk Lodge nearby.) Easy checkin, but talk about deadsville?! Located near The Legends at Village West, where virtually nothing was open on a Friday night! We drove around and finally found an Applebee's that was open. Poorly maintained hotel with elevators not working?! Our first room had a non-functioning toilet and AC that would not turn off. Second room worked. In hallway, Exit sign was torn from wall and lying on floor. Breakfast was fine but room was crowded. Checkout took nearly 15 minutes because of lack of staff and poorly trained staff. This location is not ready for primetime, let alone Premier status.

We travel a lot and never had a room that tv remote didn't work and no maintenance on call. Also toilet didn't work and hotel was full so couldn't change rooms. So used pool bathroom both nights. No one ever called me after leaving my number and calling multiple times. Week later still no one reached out to me. But they we're quick to take my money. Bad management

Dirty rooms, staff was horrible and told us there were no clean sheets or plectra pillows for us. Breakfast was subpar at best. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool… I am very disappointed

Great value, great day shift staff, try to check in before night shift starts, good breakfast nice staff, fun pool, very clean room and helpful day staff. Day staff was great!!! Very close to lots of dining options

Poor experience again, last stay elevator was broken room wasn't very clean. This stay room was dirty. They limited pool time to 30 minutes. Staff said due to COVID even though numbers are down. Barley any hot water. Cable options were terrible.

Housekeeping service sign did not work; placed it on door room still not made up after 5p; Front desk just apologized. Sink leaking; resolved. Kids slamming doors and running up and down hallway at 11pm.

Elevator broke. TV broke. 4 hour wait to check in. No towels in pool area. Pool/hot tub so cloudy with chemicals you couldn't see your feet in 2 feet of water. And the staff was completely indifferent to any of these issues. Awful stay.

This location is great for all the amenities around it. The outlet mall, the speedway, the great restaurants. I am from Kansas City originally and was able to visit family when I want to. I recommend this location to all families with kids, they have a great swimming pool with a great waterslide

The hotel has always been nice and the staff friendly. Stayed there for years but seems to be getting outdated and the staff seems overworked. We go to be near the stadium and its nice to just walk across the street after a game. However the prices are fairly high compared to hotels in the area. Id price out the hotel behind this one.

The hotel was under staffed. The pool was very dirty, and smelly. The elevator was broken which was a very inconvenience...as our room was on the 3rd floor and I just had a knee injection the day before. I was so shocked on how run down the hotel was, as I have stayed many times before and was always pleased. There were stains throughout the hallway floors, in our room on the carpet & hideaway mattress.

Staff was wonderful, rooms clean, grandkids loved the pool, very upset that elevator was out of service along with 2nd floor ice machine. Reservation was to have the 2 rooms next to each other but ended up being on separate floors. Staff did try to fix it but was not doable

Hotel is starting to fall in to disrepair and cleanliness is not a top concern either anymore. Elevator was out of order, according to hotel staff it is out of service more than it is in service anymore. Floors were dirty in stairwells and the couch in our suite was full of food, sticky liquids and the the pullout couch was heavily stained. Ive stayed at this hotel for years... this will have been my last stay.

Best Western Premier KC was right near the Legends Outlet mall and many restaurants and things to do. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bartender was fantastic, a must try is the Liquid Marijuana drink. Kudos to the entire staff of the hotel.

Roaches, broken tv, leaking shower, no heat, broken window, broken microwave, dirty hallways, construction supplies left everywhere, key card stopped working, dim lights, noisy, the elevators were not working, the keys to the side doors were not working

Had a great stay here this last weekend. We really enjoyed the pool/waterslide. The breakfast was tasty and well stocked. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and attentive to our questions. The only issues we had were the elevator not working, which depending on where you are booked (3 story property) could be a bigger issue than it was for us, and the parking lot was a bit slippery due to a recent snow. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!

Elevator doesn't work. Bar/lounge not open. Toilet in room didn't work and they did nothing about it. I had to fill a trash can with water out of shower and dump it in back of toilet in order to flush.

The staff are extremely kind and helpful! I have never stayed somewhere that I felt so comfortable. I was treated like family from the moment I checked in! Elevator was down being repaired but even with that inconvenience, the kindness of the staff and the nice clean rooms and lobby more than made up for it!

Great hotel. Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal a great variation of choices. Good breakfast. Taksim I'm and his team are professional and very courteous. I will be staying at this hotel again as I felt that this is the home away from home

So I am here on business but I have really enjoyed myself with all the different things there are to do here with a huge mall just next-door mini sporting arenas and events the staff is so friendly (boots) will take care of you ! Waterside jacuzzi snacks will definitely use these guys again.

Scheduled this hotel twice, cancelled because the elevator didn't work. Scheduled again and the elevator"isn't" broken. We requested 1st floor. Nope 3rd floor, no elevators, keys don't work. Big mess here. Floor has bleach spots. Dirty. Not at all what I expect from best western.

We stayed in KC as we were celebrating New Years a day late.. The hotel is lovely and lodgey. Just our style. The only thing we would change would be the mattress. We both really wish the bed was much more comfortable. Due to it being overly firm, neither of us slept well and were aware most of the night.. Desk staff was super friendly and breakfast were wonderful.

We did not know that the elevators was out of service when we booked our stay. We booked a suite on 3rd floor, and was moved to a 1st floor room due to needing a knee replacement and not being able to climb steps.

The positives: location was convenient to the Legends, stadium, speedway, restaurants and I-435. Most of the staff was helpful when there was a problem. Negatives: for a "premier", the room was just average and I expected better bedding (most needed replacing), complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc. from a Best Western Premier. .The elevator broke through our stay and we had to carry luggage up and down several flights of stairs. Our bedding was not clean in the first room and staff switched us to a different one that was better. We had several issues with the toilet, but got those resolved quickly. We had to go to the desk several times to get enough towels, hand towels, wash cloths for two, plus little things like tissues weren't refilled.

Best place to stay when going to Sporting Kc game especially if you get all you can drink seats. Hot water is an issue at times. Staff is friendly. Hotel is clean. Just make sure to double check bill.

I have stayed here multiple times before. I can't ever begin how dirty, bugs in room, tub faucet dribbled non stop, breakfast items were spoiled, elevator broke for over a month an employee told me, neighbors mousy all night even after calling front desk, front desk employee complained about having to work late. Their small children was in the lobby waiting. This is only part of my most hotel stay ever

Lots of issues that need attention. Found a roach. Elevators broken. Key machine not working. Did not accommodate requests. Would choose another hotel in that area in the future. Internet was very bogged down. Wish the TV had a guide.

The elevator was broke, ice machine was broke and no hair dryer in the room and none available. Staff could have cared less about anything! I was on the 3rd floor and had to carry my luggage up the stairs because the elevator was broke. It was broke when I made my reservation (did not know it was broke until after I was checked in). Do not stay here!

The ONLY thing going for this hotel is the location. We were attending the USWNT soccer match across the street. We paid $250 for one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. It was dirty, nothing worked, and the breakfast was tasteless. The elevator was broken so we had to drag our suitcases up and down 3 flights. Outlets in our room were broken, there was a constant drip/stream from the faucet and a noticeable and active leak in the ceiling. The remotes to the TVs didn't work and one TV wouldn't work at all. The beds were lumpy, the ice machines didn't work, and it was a very frustrating experience.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for when we booked our trip to Kansas City. We needed something that was close to the speedway and was close to local eateries and shopping. The staff was helpful and this hotel provided everything we were looking for on race weekend.

This facility had active mold in the rooms. Tub facets leak past a drip it is a steady flow. Soap scum was everywhere in the bathroom and the toilet had brown scum in it. I felt like I may be sleeping in a dirty bed. I would NOT recommend THIS facility to anyone.

On phone, now, after calling 800# and being transferred, to customer care.. Called 800# a couple of days prior to arrival, to change my room from a king to a 2 bed queen, for my two nite stay. Received the one cancellation, followed by a new confirmation. Called the local hotel directly to confirm changes and spoke to Chelsea. When checking in, yesterday at 4:15, Ron, told me I had two rooms reserved. I gave him the information about changing the room type with the 800#. He told me he would cancel the other room. Was told elevator was not working and we would need to use stairs. Upon arriving in our room we were amazed at the lack of cleaning. Should not have expected any better, by the lack of cleaning observed in the lobby area. Should have turned around and ran then. No house keeping received today. Had retired for the evening and were reading in bed, when someone with a key was trying to enter room. Thank goodness the latch was in place to keep them from entering. Tried to use the room phone to call front desk, but it was dead. Called front desk with my cell phone and was told we were not supposed to be in the room. I said if we were no to be in the room another nite, why was the room not cleaned before it was given to another traveler? Was told, they could not go into the rooms, because of Covid. I said, so you do not clean the rooms? He repeated what he told me earlier. This was the same, Ron, that had checked me in the nite before. I asked to speak to the manager, and he told me she would not be in until tomorrow. I told him I had an email of the cancellation of the one bed room, and a confirmation of the two bed room. He told me to bring these emails to him, and I told him I was not bringing anything to him, and he hung up on me. Just got off the phone with Greg at customer care. Evidently when we checked in at 4:15 last night, Ron, who checked us in, cancelled my reservation, and gave me the key to the room. Stay away from this place. These pictures were taken when we first entered the room and at breakfast the next morning.

I had the displeasure of staying at this hotel on 10/3 while in town to see a Sporting KC match. The match started at 3pm, and I called the night before requesting an early check-in and was told I would have to call the next day to see if it was possible. The manager on the phone said probably not, so I asked if I would be able to store my luggage in the hotel if I wouldn't be able to check in early. She again said I would have to check when I showed up. When I showed up at 1:30, I was told I could neither check in early nor did they have a place to store my luggage. I have requested luggage storage at numerous hotels in my life, and they always had a system in place to do so. It's really not that hard, I give you my bags and you tag them, put them in a locked room, and then I pick them up with that tag. I travel with costly medicine that really should not be left in a hot car for hours at a time, so this was a major inconvenience. Upon checking in, I was informed that none of the elevators were working nor was anyone available to help carry luggage up to the 3rd floor. As someone recovering from back surgery, this was a real slap in the face considering I paid $220 for this room. The worst part of this whole experience was arriving on the 3rd floor and the smell of rotten eggs permeating through the entire floor, including inside of the room. I had to go buy candles to stifle the stench of this hellhole. Oh, and the ice machine didn't work on our floor so I had to hobble down to the 2nd floor to get ice. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and will never stay at a Best Western property again. Sporting KC fans, dont be tempted by the proximity to the stadium, this place is an actual dump and you would be better off in a sleeping bag in a ditch next to I-435.

Read every other review, this hotel is awful. Aside from location it is a 0 on a 1-10 pt scale. Not even worthy of a review. Nothing works, pool is disgusting, place smells, BED BUGS, etc. Awful. Don't stay here.

There was nothing about this stay that warranted the price I paid. The elevator was broke and we were on the third floor. The bathroom had a bad odor so we had to leave the fan on the whole time of the stay. The WIFI did not work. We were told it was a wire issue. We needed an extra pillow and were told there were no extra to give. There was a fly in the orange juice at breakfast that was not changed out. The pool water was dirty.

This hotel is infested with BED BUGS!! We “attempted” to stay in this hotel for an event at Legends Field on 9/25/2021. Getting into the room late, we laid down around 1am. At 2am, I woke up itching. I grabbed my phone flash light after I noticed a bug scurry away from me. To my complete horror, I then noticed bugs scurrying in every direction. BED BUGS!! On the headboard, on the wall where the mattress connects to the wall, on the pillows, the blankets, the mattress. Huge bed bugs, baby bed bugs, medium bed bugs. I have never seen so many active bed bugs in my entire life! This indicates to me that this hotels bed bug ingestion is BAD BAD, and likely has spread to every room in this hotel. We immediately gathered our belongings, checked out and made the 2.5 hour trip home in the middle of the night. When we checked out, the receptionist didn't act a bit surprised by our claim that there were bed bugs in our room which also indicates to me that they are aware of this issue yet still subjecting their guests to a bed bug infestation which will likely spread to the homes of each and every guest who has stayed in this hotel. If you have stayed in this hotel in the last 6 months, I HIGHLY recommend that you have your home examined by an expert to see if you brought any friends home with you. If you do not catch bed bugs immediately they will infest your home and cost you thousands of dollars to rid your home of them. Upon arriving home, I removed all of my clothing outside of my house, washed what I was wearing and everything in my suitcase immediately and threw my suitcase away. I have pictures of SEPARATE bed bugs found in our bed in this hotel. I counted at least 12 and that's not including the ones I saw scurrying away as I shone the light on them.

There was no notification that that the elevator was not working prior to my booking. I booked my hotel at a 3rd party on the Internet and therefore they would not change my room to the first floor. I booked the same day as I arrived and therefore they knew that their elevator was out and they should have notified people who were booked so that they could maybe make other arrangements. My room was on the 3rd floor, I'm over 65 just had knee surgery and had to go up 2 flights of steps twice to get my bags and my pillows up there. Although the receptionist offered to help me get stuff upstairs upstairs she didn't come down to the end of the hallway when she saw me come into the building to go up the steps. This would have taken her away from the desk for quite awhile and I could understand why she didn't come on down there.

This was not the place if you want a clean environment with attentive customer service based staffing. The interior is rundown with carpets showing wear down to bare wood. Pricing was high for lack of quality. Internet was extremely slow. Not a great experience and won't bother to try again

The best western hotels have certainly come along way, especially this one. The rooms and attractions surrounding this hotel are very reasonable and highly decorative. The service was excellent and staff was very helpful. My friends and I have been staying at this hotel every time I come to KC. The speedway for nascar is seriously rite next door and the soccer field across the street. Service is very professional and YES, a balanced hot breakfast with REAL EGGS BACON SAUSAGE ETC. ETC. decorative lobby area and front of building has balconies on top floor. Winter time has a roaring fire place to get warm when we come in out of the cold. Plenty of tv's in lobby practically everywhere you look, for every sports season. Rooms are fully fitted with fridge microwave flatscreen and bathroom fully stocked with hygiene products. 24 hour round the clock coffee water and ice tea. It's a great sense of very well fancy hotel to fit the budget to spend more on attractions and nightlife. For me and my friends and family, it's a real score of 10 for what is offered! The best BW I've ever stayed at. Not even Las Vegas is this extravagant and peaceful. Thank YOU BWP!

This property is in a great location ...accessible to a lot! Property did seem kind of run-down. Several things were not in working order...most importantly the elevator. Staff did not tell us this, or offer any apologies, or let us know that they were working in repairs.

I stayed here 3 years ago and the hotel was fantastic. This time not so much, first room had a broken table, pull out couch had dirty linens, and there were what appeared to be blood stains on the floor. Second room was a little after they moved us, but still - mattress was stained, comforter was stained, and when we woke up to leave noticed a musty smell and saw the AC had mold coming from it. Very disappointed as we had stayed here previously with no issues and loved it. They have not kept the hotel up unfortunately. People who worked there were all very nice and helpful, but in the end the stay was a nightmare.

We always choose this hotel since its literally a stones throw away from Childrens Mercy Park. Its always clean and the staff friendly. Always willing to answer questions and help you out with the area.

Blocked 15 rooms 4 months in advance for funeral. everyone called to put their own name on room- I got email confirmation- no one else did- they called numerous times but got no email. I called several days before arrival. They only had 4/8 rooms booked- mine was even missing. The booked rooms were all wrong on dates or room count. They had no rooms available- I demanded they find us rooms. They did. Meeting room had no air conditioning and I wasn't told that until moving things into room and by a worker no even at check in.Our toilet wasn't working properly. One room had broken tv, the elevators were all broken, broken/missing mirror in lobby bathroom, some ice machines didn't work. Topper was seeing my Visa card authorization paperwork sitting face up on check in counter 11 later. The staff was friendly but the stay wasn't as expected, especially during a sad time of burins our father.

I had to wipe down the desk, side tables, etc. before using because they were dirty. We never received cleaning services during our 4 day stay even after requesting it. Elevator was broken. Stairway and hallway carpet was dirty. Fitness center treadmills didn't work, no gym towels, A/C not working in fitness center. Breakfast milk was warm and soda machine didn't work. Bed was hard and noise could be heard from across the hall. Wasn't offered the welcome gift associated with my membership level. Location would be good if there to see a KC Speedway race or KC Monarchs baseball game.

Elevator was broken and the 3rd floor on our end smelt like a sewer that seeped into our room. They tried spraying with air freshener, but did not help. My husband left clothes by accident in closet and we called 3 hours afterwards and "nothing" found according to them. Not worth the price paid and will never stay here again.

We knew elevator did not work but decided to give them a chance anyway. They messed up our rooms eventhough we called three times prior to arriving. We were downgraded but still charged the same price. Air conditioning and microwaves were not working. It smelled like sewer! The breakfast would have been good if it was fresh. However, the sausage gravy was obviously just stored in the metal container it was heated up in as the first day it tasted good, the second day there were dried drippings all around the edge from the day before and they just put it back to be warmed up and it tasted sour and spoiled. By day three it tasted like metal and I gagged on it and threw it out again. It has the potential to be something great but it needs a lot of attention. When we arrived, since elevator did not work, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs. Some guy was steam cleaning the tile in the direction we had to go, I am guessing to get the sewer backup smell out. My husband tried to get by him and the worker called him a "f...ing idiot". My husband confronted him and he said he called some guy that on his phone.....do not believe him as he was not on phone when walked by him....even so a customer should not have to hear that language.

It was underwhelming for per night rate... upon arrival the front desk gave my wife a box of disinfectant wipes to clean our room that hadn't been cleaned yet. The hotel bar/lobby opened 1.5hrs late on an event night. The bartender had no clue what he was doing. The breakfast staff were overheard by many in the breakfast area swearing.

No Towels, pool or bedroom, dirty pool-smells. room shower spit all over made a mess very dangerous but did have handicap bars in tub. don't expect immediate help they only have one person handling everything

There were so many things that fell short of minimal expectations for a Premier hotel. - Blood stains on sheets - Food and crumbs in furniture - Dirty carpet in room - Hot tub was cold - Pool ladder was broken - Fitness room was screaming hot to work out in even after reporting and asking for help - Elevator was not functional for entire stay We would not stay at this hotel ever again!

We chose this hotel because of its great location and the water slide in the pool. Those were the only good things about it. Check in was easy and quick. The elevator is broken (looks like it has been for a while) but we had a first floor room, so it was fine. The hall stunk, the floor was uneven and dirty. We got to our room and it's dated, but okay. Got back to the room late the first night, the swing lock didn't work. It looked like someone had ripped it out of the wall and when they replaced it, it didn't even latch. Upon pulling the comforter back to get in bed, I notice blood on the comforter (not a stain, it clearly had not been washed). I took it off and slept without the first night. The next morning I opened the shower to find a centipede in the tub... I took my issues to the front desk the next morning. She gave me a new comforter, but didn't seem concerned at all by any of the issues. Both mornings, the breakfast was out of many things, again, nobody seemed to care and the pool never had clean towels. This place had many nice amenities, it's just being poorly maintained.

Took four hours total to get a room cleaned. Could not shower or get cleaned up before I went to my event. Elevator was broken, then the receptionist told m to go up the stairwell at the wrong end of the hotel to get to my room

The lobby is the nicest room in the building. The rooms are dingy and dark. Our room had a damp, musty smell and dark black spots on the wall. (mold?) Our shower curtain was moldy on the bottom and the clock radio (does anyone use those anymore?) was extremely dusty. I purchased bleach wipes to clean the room. The third floor had an unidentified bad odor. The pool slide was unstable and the pool cleanliness was questionable. The breakfast buffet was not adequately stocked for the amount .of guests staying there ( during a Thurs and Fri, the weekend was a little better) Our key cards had to rekeyed several time during our four night stay. We had several families and friends staying here at the same time for an event, and we all had issues with uncleaned rooms, no towels, a water leak through a window during a rain storm. (we have it on video) The water pressure in the shower was good with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. The staff I encountered were nice, but appeared to need more help. The only other nice thing I could say about this place is the location is close to many restaurants and shopping. I will never stay here again.

I booked this hotel on Priceline, and I don't know if they gave me the worst room in the hotel because of that or if my room is an example of all of the rooms here. I am not one to usually complain, but when I got here I was informed that my room was on the top floor and the elevators were not working. I am 68 years old, so hauling my luggage up all of those stairs was not easy. Once in the room, I discovered that there was no soap in the bathroom. After settling in, I noticed there were several stains on the carpet and there was lots of dust on the headboard. After being in the room for several hours, I noticed that the air-conditioner never shut off, event though it was set at 77 degrees, and the toilet ran continually. There were crumbs and other debries on the carpet around the bed. This is a great location, but I will never stay here again. On the plus side, I had a somewhat comfortable bed, and I felt safe.

Room not ready for check-in when arriving 2 1/2 hours after check-in time. Dirty room upon arrival, had to ask for towels daily as maid service was spotty. Breakfast bar out of items and wasn't restocked daily. Hot tub was lukewarm at best. Maybe this hotel was great at some point, but it didn't seem like they had enough staff and those working to keep up didn't have the right training to do the "little things" that make a hotel great. Hopefully things will improve in the future, but we certainly won't stay at this location again.

By far the worst hotel and staff I have ever experienced. Bad odors throughout, rude and unhelpful staff constantly complaining about being understaffed, broken elevator, sloppy stairwells, constantly ran out of food for breakfast and never replaced it. Not one person in this hotel should work in HOSPITALITY!!!!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this hotel is as gross and rude at is comes. Here are some issues: 1) Room was dirty. Carpet was stained and felt grimy. The room was humid and had a odor. It was one of the most gross hotels I have ever stayed in. I did not want to take shoes off or sleep on sheets. 2) TV and 3 lights (2lamps and one overhead can light) did not work in the room. When reported the woman told me she was new and did not know if there was a switch for lamps or not. She did tell us to unplug the TV and see if that worked and it did but I do not think I should have to unplug a TV. 3) Breakfast: It says there is grab and go starting at 6am but when we tried to take muffins before a game. The staff was RUDE and informed us breakfasts starts at 7am.. 4)Overall staff seems very unhappy with their jobs, could not or would not problem solve and were unconcerned with our issues. They were short and rude to more guests than just us. Not one thing even met my expectations. We will never stay at a Best Western again because of the bad experience. Several other people in the hotel commented that they had the same experience.

Clogged sink notified staff 2 pm ,4 pm and again 10 pm . Staff member came up with plunger abut 730 tried for two minutes with no success. Said she would be back after pouring drano down sink never came back up to try and unclog,sink is now full of black stuff with fould odor. Spoke with same staff member at 10 pm she stated that she never went back to check on clogged drain. Offered no solution, requested new room w no luck . Stayed here few years back place was top notch. Unfortunately that is no longer the case I.e. foul odor elevator, tile floors sticky from using the wrong cleaner,hair bathroom floor from previous occupant . Also hot bud light at the bar could not even finish. Have always been loyal to BW but will need to rethink after this stay.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend. It was gross. After staying, I'm shocked there were so many positive reviews. My room had a broken window. There was a circle cut out of it. (228) Breakfast was awful. No pancakes, just questionable eggs and dry sausage. No baked goods. The floor was so sticky in the breakfast area it was almost comical. We were there for a softball tournament and were informed that our group of parents couldn't drink our beer and wine in the lobby. I've stayed in all sorts of hotels over the years and we've always been able to drink and gather in the lobby. It's almost as though they are discouraging groups. The room wasn't ready at 4:00 despite checkin being at 3:00. The room itself was fine. It's all the other stuff that detracted from our collective experience. Never again.

Checked in, opened the sheets and found what looked like dried blood on the sheets. Absolutely unbelievable considering they are bright white sheets, not exactly hard to miss. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told I couldn't change rooms because I booked via a 3rd party. "No problem," I said, "somebody can just come change the sheets." At the time of check-in there was no housekeeping staff on site, so I was told I could do it myself. "Absolutely not," I told the front desk lady. It took a little convincing, but she came up and changed them herself, and she was extremely apologetic, which I appreciate. It's sad because I've stayed in this hotel twice before and it's been fine, but this is just ridiculous.

This lace was amazing the pool was fun and the room was cozy I would definitely go back to this hotel. The only thing that went wrong is my furnace stopped working but I think it was the cause of the thunderstorm other that that I would highly recommend people coming here.

Had piss mattress, moved to different room, then dirty food mattress, then louding hammering noises till 5am that started at 11pm coming from the animal trailer in the parking lot. Went on for 6 hrs with no resolution untill 5am when they finally left

Very beautiful hotel, with very clean rooms for the low price offered. I really enjoyed the breakfast served and the pool was amazing. Very clean water and the slide was amazingly very fast for the size of it. Enjoyed my stay.

In this day of zoom meeting and working from home it is vital that a hotel have reliable internet. Yes, I called the number to get assistance with the internet and yes he was able to help us by rebooting the router but it was maddening. We had stayed at this location two other times within the past 4 months and had NO issues with internet and then when I made the comment about the internet to the morning check out person she indicated it was because of the hotel being full (maybe that was true) and the wind (not going with the wind so much). It is windy in Kansas but I myself, have never had issues with the internet (anywhere) due to the wind. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was great. We didn't take a "grab and go" breakfast bag. There are multiple hotels/motels in the area we will try another next time.

No housekeeping entire time we were there and told 3 different answers when we asked - should have been done, have to ask and finally that they don't do housekeeping. Nowhere was that conveyed. Internet was terrible

Not Happy! Had to wait 2 1/2 hours after check in for my room because it wasn't ready. Then my refrigerator in my room had someone elses leftover still in it and the room had ZERO towels in it! The front lobby was full of puddles and water from kids running back and forth to the pool!

Had a problem with stained bedding and a smell in the room, was moved to a better room quickly and effortlessly by the staff. First day the pool was closed, luckily we were there multiple days. The water slide is awesome! Breakfast was superb but had delays at times as the front desk clerk had to resupply the breakfast items. Would definitely go back again and suggest to friends and family!

Had 3 rooms and none were clean, one had a microwave covered in an oatmeal explosion, another had cockroaches/bugs and broken furniture and the last had garbage in the closets and floor outside is deceptive looks nice with a good location but inside beware!

This is a very nice facility with very pleasant and helpful staff. There are a number of restaurants nearby. Room was attractive, spacious, well appointed and clean. There were changes in a typical BW breakfast due to Covid-19 but overall, the food was good and the options were many. A nice place to stay and we will stay there agin if we are in the area.

The stay was awesome. Breakfast is getting better, of course because of health issues, it's still self serve but things we could warm up which was nice. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of not hearing the maid service early in the morning. That's a plus.

Great location near activities and dinning. Right off a major highway. Indoor pool was awesome with slide and my kids loved it. Room needs a refresh. Couch had wires coming out of it, carpet was stained. Breakfast was different due to COVID but still great.

Hotel smelled like a portable potty inside and outside, coffee pot had facial hair clippings in it, sink clogged, had a bug on my ceiling. Booked that hotel for pool, failed to tell customers that they only give a 45 min slot for a 1 night stay. Claimed to be following covid regulations but could not find one drop of hand sanitizer in that hotel from the front desk to the 3rd floor. When talking to the clerk at the front desk, I was given an eye roll and I'm sorry this stay was not to your expectations.

There were pros and cons of this last stay at a hotel during covid restrictions. Overall this hotel was a good one in a great location and will stay at this hotel again even though some of the cons in this review may seem "deal breakers" to others, but I will assume these were one off items unless they repeat again in another stay here. Pros - great pool with slide and hot tub. Had sign up sheets so capacity was capped at 10 in pool area at any time, which was nice to keep numbers down and easy to plan time at pool. - breakfast, all other hotels we have stayed at during covid only offer snack items for breakfast (granola bars or yogurt). This had take back to your room and heat up sausage sandwiches and other items so you can still have a hot breakfast along with the bars and yogurt. - room overall size and accommodations were nice (queen suite room) with 2 TVs 2 queen beds and sitting area with hide-a-bed. - Staff was very friendly and helpful, but seemed understaffed for cleaning crew. Cons - Cleaning crew, hotel was fully booked night before and cleaning staff short so room not ready at check in time. No big deal, but can be frustrating. Good location so places nearby to go to to kill time and come back later. - Room cleanliness, this could have been the deal breaker. After delayed check in, room was clearly not vacuumed, some surfaces sticky in places, dark urine and hair on toilet base. Found several items previous tenants had left behind including, large bag of food with half food still in it on shelf between beds, large ball of saran wrap plastic under foot of bed, 4" toy ball beside bed, hair scrunchy and other trash items. We did not report this until check out 2 days later just because was tired on first day and did not want to interrupt our time. - no linens for hide-a-bed. When bed was pulled out when getting ready to use it, there was no bed cover on mattress and not linens or extra pillows found in room. Night Desk staff helpful and quick in getting this for us. Did not at first see stain on mattress, but likely a drink accident and hopefully not the other kind of "accident". Overall - Would have expected a greatly level of cleaning during this time especially when the hotels specifically says they are cleaning to higher standards, but after talking to Manager at check out, they seem aware of cleaning staff issues and staff changes were already being made. I am certain at my next stay these issues will be resolved.

When we walked into the room we immediately notice the room had not been vacuumed, Paper and lint on the floor. When we went to used the Toilet it would not flush, opened the lid and the chain had rusted and was broke..We notified the front desk of the issue as we went out for the evening, hoping the situation would he fixed...Once we got back to the room the toilet was still broken...So the rest of our stay we had to open the tank to pull the chain so we could flush the toilet. Upon check out we again addressed the issue, the desk clerk did not seem to worried about it, nor offered a discount.

We really enjoyed our stay!! Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Nice rooms. Stocked well. Bed was comfortable . We would recommend. Great location. Has the Ledgends shopping close also Nebraska Furniture Mart and Race track . Most within walking distance.

The pool was the main reason we stayed at this location. We used the pool for 20 minutes and it was burning our eyes and causing severe coughing and red eyes in all 4 of us. I get the COVID safety measures but if it has to be that strong of chemicals in the pool please just close the pool and notify on the website. Then families can make a better decision as to stay there. I asked for any type of comp and the person at the front desk offered nothing. I would appreciate some type of gesture sense we used a holiday weekend and did not get the experience we desired. Other problems: Used bandage on table in pool, 5 minutes after a supposed "cleaning." Sink in bathroom did not drain. I had to adjusted flange of toilet to fill tank. Hole in the duvet with feathers coming out Front desk did little to nothing to correct.

With short notice, we needed a place to stay. They were very accomodating and it is a nice place. I have had bad experiences in the past with hotels and this was a very pleasant surprise for myself and my family.

This is a nice place, high quality finishes but really lacks in cleaning department and customer service. Our room had food on the carpet when we first walked in. An old onion ring, french fry and a popcorn under the bed. The toilet wouldn't flush, husband had to fix it. Our sink wouldn't drain. I'm guessing the carpet had been vacuumed in a long time. No towels in pool area, bathroom in pool area was not clean! No food for breakfast and breakfast lady said take what you want. Well there was no food to take! :( It sucks when it's nice place with water slide for kids but lacks basic general maintenance. This is a common occurrence with us staying here the past several years. We will probably look for something else next time. Sucks.

We had no light bulbs, leaky sink faucet, had to throw our body into the door to get it open and to top it off when I turned on the shower there was no shower head, water flooded the floor and I got to clean that mess up and my husband didn't even get a shower

we left shortly after arriving in room and had to book a room at neighbor hotel : lady at front desk was very kind but likely the maid service personal was not diligent with their job - floor was not vacuumed - used kleenex at the fold out couch - had water rings on tables - had not been wiped, had looked as if beds had been slept on etc - had booked with a 3rd party online and they will not refund room at all but this isn't the hotels fault

I had a family member in the hospital. Motel was easy to get to and from the hospital Quiet other than people using the ice machine at 4:00am (next to my room) Had breakfast options even with Covid! Liked that tea, water and coffee were available at all times

This place is very clean and conveniently located next to the on ramp of the interstate. Lots of shopping and great food places around the area. I would suggest this if you are going to worlds of fun or just going to the speedway.

Very good experience here. Great service, convenient location, not far from the interstate. VERY comfortable bed and pillows. Clean room, very good amenities. Good security. Breakfast to-go was ok. Wish they could give members bottles of water!

We have stayed at this hotel before and like it very much. The location is great, very near shopping, entertainment, good dining choices. The pandemic creates some less than ideal conditions, i.e. no breakfast except bagged. There is remodeling going on.

Really my review should be... Service: Above Average (4 stars) Room: Below Average, exceptional room, marble tile in entry and bathroom. Refrigerator barely chills. The first room I stayed in was 65 degrees upon arrival, had a strong sulphur/sewage smell. I sprayed it down with sanitizer and air freshener, went to dinner and came back - smelled like flowered poop. (Second Floor) Moved to first floor room temp set at 75 and humid... I had to wait for next shift to arrive and leave hall door open to stay in the room. discovered the shower leaking a drip from shower head and running out on floor. About 11:00 pm they got the AC running and I stayed in the room. Went to bed around 1:00am. It is 9am - and there are men in the hall speaking LOUD in Spanish taking up the carpet, banging on my wall and door. Yelling back and forth up and down the hall. We spent our BW points to rent this room in a premier hotel and have had anything but a premier experience. The carpet is filthy in both rooms (lots of stains and feels ugh). Furniture in second room was in disrepair. The console under the TV had a door broken off of it or removed, not replaced. Again the hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating, friendly and apologetic. But the facility leaves a lot to be desired. They clearly are cleaning the place up, but my question is how am I supposed to get a trolley to my door to put a week's worth of luggage back in the car? It is dangerous to have this kind of work done while people are staying in the rooms and trying to exit.

My family has stayed at this hotel numerous times. Worst experience EVER. Tv broken, toilet not flushing &gum on bed spread. Was offered a new room. Pool was not available. Breakfast was suppose to be grab and go. They didnt have enough available for everyone staying at the hotel. Not worth the $160 we were required to pay.

First room was not very acceptable so switched us to another room. STill dirty but workable. Wifi did not work through out our stay and when we asked about it we were told they knew of the problem but can do nothing to fix it. 3rd floor smelled of sulfur or rotting water. Hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks.

During my stay, I noticed the bed linen was not changed in our room. Upon a closer look, I unfolded the linen and I noticed pieces of hair on the pillows and bed sheets. The Front Desk Clerk was surprised on my findings. Very low water pressure when taken a shower.

The room was extremely dirty and the toilet did not stop running. The bed was unmade upon arrival and had stains on the comforter. We were given a new room that was not much better. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and buying our own pillows and blankets from a nearby target. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

I had made an online reservation through the Best Western website for this location and when I arrived to check in which was later in the evening, the clerk said they did not have any rooms. But she went above and beyond and went and cleaned a Room for us so we did not have to go to another property. In my opinion the place could use new carpet on a good cleaning and the rooms are a little dated but it was nice enough for what we needed.

The staff was great. Very friendly and willing to help. We came in late and they were just as happy as if we would have come in at a normal time. The breakfast was great and the staff greeted everybody cheerfully.

We thought our room was clean and the breakfast was magnificent. We loved that the breakfast was open till 10. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to check in and check out. They need to make sure they park someone at the desk full time. Both at check in and check out we were searching for someone to help us.

Overall, hotel is nice enough and staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and breakfast was well prepared and timely. But... the noise from running footsteps in the rooms above was extremely loud and went on all day and night until well after midnight. The staff was made aware multiple times and seemed concerned. They said they would handle it. Unfortunately they couldn't manage to find a way ro remedy the situation. 2 nights of that was enough for us. Probably wont be reurning to this particular location, which is unfortunate due to its great location.

I am a superintendent for a building project in Shawnee Mission and have stayed at the Best Western Premier KC Speedway each week since last June. My wife has stayed with me at times on weekends. We have found this hotel to be clean and the people to be friendly and extremely helpful. This is the place to stay if visiting the area!

Room wasn't ready, switched into better room where couch was broken and toilet was running! Had to fix the toilet or listen to it, wasn't going to ask to be moved again as they already moved me from the room that wasn't clean! Went to sit on couch after putting everything away and about fell on the floor as the bottom of the couch was already busted out. Room 124 is a no go! Hotels around for same price and fellow works that stayed with them said it was great! Couldnt use the pool as it was "closed" and looked milky, and the workout room had water all over the floor!

This property was not clean. The sheets had visible yellow spots. We had to request housekeeping services after 4:00pm because no one came to clean the room even though we had reported the issue TWICE to the front desk. Overall the property was dated and unkept.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before with no issues. However, this time the hotel was dirty, had a foul odor in the 3rd level hallway and the internet did not work. The front desk said "it was because there are a lot of kids on their phones".

Made reservations online and had a confirmation number. After literally waiting 30+ minutes (and calling the hotel three times while standing at the front desk) on someone to show up at the front desk, the bartender finally came over and told me that they had no rooms available. She said that they had to turn away the last eight folks that had reservations. The gentleman in line behind me had had a reservation for three weeks - He was also told that he did not have a room. I am a very long time Bestwestern customer. I've had poor experiences in the past but this was absolutely the worst! I will not stay at this hotel in the future!!

The breakfast was beyond expectation and the General Manager, Maggie and the staff made you feel like you were their relatives staying. Great pool and waterslide and hopefully will be able to enjoy next month again. Room and bar really do live up to their premier level/daily rate.

I highly encourage you to consider staying somewhere else. The pool water was so cloudy I couldn't help find my sons swim toys at the bottom. No pool towels. Poor front desk service. Bar and restaurant closed. Smells of smoke/marijuana in the middle of the night that my credit card was later charged for, and I had even explained it in my survey. If you have already stayed here, Check your card statement. If you are thinking of staying here, find somewhere with better reviews!

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My boys loved the pool and I loved the Bar. As added bonus you can't beat the breakfast bar in the morning. Also located close to everything here in the Legends shopping center.

Had a nice breakfast & great location but bedding was not clean. Fresh blood on my bedding!! When reported i was told to strip bedding myself & leave in hallway. I had to go get fresh bedding for myself & make bed myself. Very disappointed in the quality for the price i paid.

Nice room. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was nice. Apparently they have ongoing problems with the pool as it was closed when I checked in but open when I checked out. Other reviews mentioned that as well. Bar was unavailable on top of that. Pancake ‘maker' at breakfast was broken. Another concern was the screen on my window was sitting on the ground outside and my window was unlocked (I was on the first floor). It bothered me that if I hadn't checked it, I would have been asleep with the window unlocked. The water in the sink would only get lukewarm. None of those things are ‘deal killers' but do add up. They did have a nice snack/drink collection in lobby and you could choose Pepsi or Coke. A small amenity but something I really appreciate.

The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and nice. The pool was absolutely amazing! I have never had such a great time! The bartender is so amazing she was there and amazing! I definitely will be returning in the future!

I recently stayed here with with my family. Although they did have some renovations going on, the rooms were clean. The staff was courteous and made sure we had everything thing we needed. They even offered us the use of their dining room if we needed it. It is right across the street from arrowhead and Royals stadiums. It's right behind a Taco Bell and a Burger King. Also it's not to far from several other restaurants. The fitness center was clean, and had just what I needed for a quick vacation workout. The pool area was also clean, and it had a pool lift for the disabled. The Hotel also provides a buffet style breakfast : eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels, and fresh fruit, along with coffee, water,& OJ. They did have an on-site bar and grill, but I did not have use for it. The hotel also gave us a group rate discount, which was AWSOME! They did state during events the rooms prices go up.

Conveniently located and very clean. Check-in was a breeze and the room was great. Excellent breakfast and bar. I will definitely be staying here whenever I travel to Kansas City, Kansas. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this hotel. I would like to thank Kat, who was very helpful when we had to leave at 4:30 am to catch our flight! If all employees were like her, Best Western would benefit immensely.

They offer Breakfast, clean and modern rooms, the pool has a 2 story water slide, a lounge/bar with limited hours, there is a workout room next to the pool, suites and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay great!

Tooth paste smeared on the wall about eye level and another spot higher up. Soap dish was dirty, the shower light didn't work and water not very hot. Filtered water tap didn't work until I reached under sink and found that the shut off valve was off. Once I turned it on, water smelled like sewer water. Loose floor tiles in entry way of the room. Hallway carpets had huge buckles. They also should consider an adult only hour at the end of the night for the hot tub since it is connected to the pool and slide. This would have been nice to relax in after a long day especially since you really couldn't take a HOT bath because of the lower temperature setting of their hot water.

This hotel was okay. However the staff definitely need to be a little more friendly. Not a single smile from any staff member. Was there two nights. When I first arrived I noticed that some liquid had spilled at the the front floor of the elevator and had dried up. Over 24 hours later no one had washed this floor; not good. Fourty eight hours later still not washed. Bad. The exercise room was terrible. No sanitizer bottles for equipment, no towels, clock on wall not working, drinking water station not working. Better options out there

We booked this hotel because of the pool. It ended up being smaller than we thought, but it did have a wonderful water slide. There was one evening when the slide was not working, which was disappointing to my kids. However, staff were exceptionally friendly and attended to everything that I requested. Our room was neat and clean although the bathroom sink drained so slowly that it filled with water when used. I did not report this to the staff. Breakfast was above-average and had many options available and was replenished continuously. There was always coffee and tea available.

did not supply towels and wash cloths, kleenex or toilet paper, filtered water did not work. skipped maid servie one day. promised a credit for locking me out of the hotel early , said their clock need set correctly!! this was 5 weeks after the time change. Lighting was all on one side of the room. the closet was dark and once you stood in the door you couldn't see what you needed.

Check the blankets. Had issue, went to desk asked for bed to be changed. When saw the second one was even more disgusted with that one. Went to front desk & was given a new blanket & sent on my way...

We were extremely disappointed by this property. We have stayed previously and the change in quality is poor to say the least. Our room has food crumbs all over, children's toys under the desk, and the "fresh cold water" didn't work. Tj the front desk overnight was super rude and unhelpful.

On Monday, 12-2-20, at approximately 4:28 PM EST, a cellular phone call was made to the Best Western Primier KC Speedway Inn and Suites in Kansas City Kansas. The person answering the call said, “Best Western.” A request to make a reservation was given and he said, “Hold.” After 4 minutes the phone call was disconnected. At approximately 4:34 PM a second attempt was made with the same request. The person said to “Hold on,” and a few seconds later a person came on the phone and essentially said thank you for calling the reservation center. He was very helpful and assisted with making and confirming a reservation, as well as, updating the rewards account. At approximately 9:20 PM, my wife and I arrived at the facility. When I approached the front desk the receptionist registered us and gave direction to the elevator. We retrieved our luggage and went to the assigned room. I noticed the carpet in the hallway looked very dirty and appeared to need re-stretched. When we entered the room, we were sorely disappointed. • The carpet had not been vacuumed • The sheets appeared to be dirty, stained with bodily fluid, and wrinkled • There was a hair on the sheet at the head of the bed • There was a sock behind the chair • The room was dusty • There were stains in the toilet as if it hadn't been cleaned for a long time • There was some kind of off-white substance on the soap dish in the shower • The bathroom floor was dirty • Bathroom mirror was streaked and had what appeared to be toothpaste splatters. • The interior of the refrigerator appeared to have mold I was absolutely too tired to hassle with getting another room, the receptionist was less than enthusiastic and seemed to be annoyed during the check in. I went to our vehicle and retrieved two blankets and pillows. We slept in our clothing on top of the blankets. The bed was comfortable. In the morning we thought we might miss the breakfast because the clock said it was nearly 9:00. Since we were already dressed, we combed, brushed and rushed to the dining area. We discovered we had plenty of time, the clock was set two hours ahead. We entered the food service area and to my surprise, it was also dirty. The food containers were filthy. The floor looked like it had been mopped with dirty water. My wife saw the housekeeping supervisor and requested some clean towels and invited her to the room. All the above mentioned was shown to her. The supervisor was very pleasant and apologetic and compassionate. She cleaned the bathroom and offered to vacuum. Vacuuming was senseless at the point. We have not taken Best Western off our list of acceptable hotels, just this particular location. They did give about a $10.00 discount; I figure to the senior rate. Since I'm a senior that should have been offered initially. Free would be too much to pay.

Me and my family stayed at Best Western and we were welcome with warmth and politeness. Marcus at front desk have high customer service skills. He made everything sounds perfect and easy. The lady at the breakfast that look spanish is a sweetheart and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be coming back next year.

We showed up at the hotel and it was beautiful. We checked into our room. We get into bed and start to fall asleep. I am just falling asleep when I feel something sting and itch. I notice I'm getting bit by something. It wakes me up and there's two bedbugs in the bed with me biting me. When I call the front desk they offered to put me in a room a couple doors down on the same floor, same hall, same side. I highly recommend you check your rooms well if you dare to risk staying here.

My sister and I have been meeting at this hotel for several years in a row in early November for shopping at Legend's mall. It is a halfway point from where we live. We always reserve the double queen suite so we have a sitting area to visit and catch up. First of all when we checked in they did not give us the room that I booked two months prior online. We were given a double queen room with a balcony. (Who requests a balcony in November?). I was told a housekeeper had switched the room that day and they had no more suites to give us. The parking lot was not full and we arrived right at check in on a a Friday. The girl at the desk said she would give us a $20 discount on the room but we did not want that, we just wanted the room I booked or an equivalent. The hot tub and pool were out of order for the whole weekend which we usually enjoy while we are there. The room was at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor and the WiFi would not reach that far even though we tried many times to link to it. We called the desk and they said we were doing it wrong. Not true! I know how to log into WiFi. Our room had frayed carpet edges and the tacks were exposed to which we both stepped on. There was supposedly a filtered water faucet in the bathroom but it did not work. The amenities they offer online were a sham! We will not be staying there next year. It is run down and you cannot trust the front desk staff. They are not honest. Very sad after being a loyal customer for several years.

Great bed and stayed on it for five nights , gave four stars for sleep due to only having one type of pillow, but made it work by using two. The breakfast was beyond expectation and the staff made you feel like you were their relatives staying. Great pool and waterslide and hopefully will be able to enjoy the next time. Really do live up to their premier level.

I was there for the race and never been treated with so much care and attention like the staff in the hotel treated me. The price was not so great but at the end, everything was worth it. Stay here and you won't have any regrets

We were very pleased from check in to check out. Everyone worked hard at making all of the people we came in contact with while we were there feel very welcome and appreciated. If we make another trip to the track, we will definitely try to stay there!

no hot water, tv in room didnt work, phone in room didnt work, electrical connections under tv exposed..terrible experience at this hotel....paid premium price, and got bottom feeder experience. please, please. look else where.....we were not the only guest complaing at check.out.

I stay here every time in KC, the rooms are great.The breakfast is always good. It has access to food, gas, stores and the area is safe. It by the race track, a soccer stadium, target and its right off the interstate.

We stayed here mostly for the pool, it had a gas leak and they couldn't do anything about it till the next day, which was when we left. The tv didn't work and we stayed in a nice room, and all they did was move us to a cheaper room. Breakfast was really awesome, had a soda machine, rooms would have been really awesome with above bed tv speakers. Nice bathrooms.

When I arrived, I noticed a weird Misty smell at first in the room but faded within seconds. The room was nice and large, clean and comfy. Wifi worked well. When we went to go watch a football game at the lounge, the bartender had called in, so was unable to purchase any drinks. Luckily, we had our own and the lady who worked both nights accommodated us with a bucket to put beer in. Overall, slept well and had a nice stay. Oh yeah, pool was fun for the kids. They had a water slide and a little tv area just for the kiddos.

This hotel has a wonderful location, near by the best outlets, and incredible restaurants. The manager was very nice, funny and took a good care of us. I don't know the name of the guy who check us in, but he was professional and made sure we had everything we need. It was a great experience and we for sure will be coming back in a couple of months.

Nice, clean hotel. The rooms are very nice, there were no issues with things being clean. However, the staff was not exceptional. I called a few days before our reservation to check to see if there was a refrigerator in our room that I could use to store breastmilk. Before I actually got to ask the question, the girl that I spoke to on the phone cut me off three times trying to answer questions she THOUGHT I was going to ask. In addition, she was VERY short with me. The hot water in our shower did not work well, and the sink didn't drain well either. We also had to ask the front desk for a new remote (we couldn't find one in our room), and had to have someone come fix the TV because we could not get it to display the channels.

I was at this hotel for the barbecue weekend and everything was marvelous. The front desk person, Michael,was super nice finding us a room to accommodate us when needed since all the hotels in the area were sold out. He was really professional and we had a wonderful night of restful sleep. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel next year

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was treated with so much respect, that I've ever seen in other hotels. I was called by my name, the manager that looks a latino lady super cordial and happy, makes me feel more than welcome! Safe location, wonderful shopping area and restaurants. I will be coming back every time that I need to be in Kansas City.

The staff is super friendly every time we stay here. The property is very well maintained. The rooms are very clean. My children love the slide at the pool. It is very close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

The front desk helped us before we were even on the property. Stuck in storms they held a room without need for a reservation. Zoe was very helpful at check in and the room was great. We didnt even know this property existed and have stayed in KC a number of times.

Stayed here for a Soccer Tournament, has good family amenities and locations for watching SKC games is the best. Didn't receive the room booked and had non working items at Check in. Non working items were fixed promptly but room reservation wasn't resolved.

Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in for quite some time sporting almost every comfort and amenity. Our room was over the top clean, spacious, and comfortable with RO water and entertainment portal (which I don't even know how to use). Nice pool and exercise area as well as a pub off the lobby - with reasonable drink prices. We saved $100 - $150 on our room on a Sporting KC game night thru a group rate. Otherwise there was no way I could justify the cost of staying here one night.

Comfortable,; over and above expectations. Staff attentive. We used a meeting room which allowed us to spend quality time with family. Beautiful atmosphere. Full breakfast which was fresh with variety of a buffet.

Did not live up to reviews. Was not centrally located. Hotel bar was not open. No wash cloths in room. Carpet in room was stained and needed vacuuming. Refrigerator was frosted over. Wifi not available, so credit card charge was questionable.

Have stayed here two times in the past year. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious. They serve real eggs and top quality sausage, not the powdered eggs that so many other hotels are serving.

This specific location is near my shopping destination of Legends Mall, Childrens Mercy Park and my local family.. If you are going to attend ANYTHING at Childrens Mercy Park, Stay HERE. It is a 60 second walk across the street both to and from. The facility is modern and very clean.

We stayed here for a soccer game and this is the BEST place to stay. We had so much fun with the staff. Especially Sherry and Dawn. Sherry does the bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning and what a breakfast it was!!! Dawn checked us in and we immediately had a good feeling. The rooms were excellent. Super clean and big. When we come back this will be the first place we try to get a room at!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

2nd year in a row. Beautiful place, great location, clean rooms, wonderful and friendly staff. The staff is the best!!! We never asked for extra towels or anything, they always provided. The beds were comfortable. The bartender lady was super sweet and was helpful. We've never had a bad experience and it's in a great location. It's close to shopping, casino, and restaurants. Free breakfast is good, and we felt safe, A huge thank you to the young lady working the front desk, who had Tums for my husband late at night. If I had any complaints it would be the air conditioning in the elevator. It was a very hot weekend, I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it was warm in the elevator the entire trip during our stay. Again minor issue and it's not as if you spend a ton of time in the elevator. FYI we did see some vehicles getting towed (from the hotel parking lot) during the soccer game held at the Sporting KC. Assuming if you're not staying at the hotel, probably not the best idea to park there. We will be back same time, same place, next year.

We had a great time at the pool with a fantastic slide! We were able to enjoy the lounge and it was a very family friendly atmosphere! The rooms were clean and well appointed, and the breakfast was good as always. Will definitely be back.

Had a great time with grand kids and kids for a birthday and 25th anniversary celebration in the pool area and bedroom. Was close to our favorite restaurant where we celebrated also. Have stayed here before and have not been disappointed. Will stay again.

I was promptly greeted as I walked through the doors and the check in lady was busy checking in other guests but she efficiently checked everyone in and I had my room key. The bar lady was inquisitive just enough to sustain light conversation but not pushy, and my drinks were made excellent. My room was great. I love the large bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get much needed rest.

The KC Premier Speedway Inn Best Western one of the best. Great decor, friendly staff, great hot breakfast, clean rooms. Missed Interstate notification of this Best Western, but because I am a Rewards Member got GPS to get us there the long way. It was worth it!

We checked in on 6/21/19 for two nights in two different rooms. Upon walking in the lobby was extremely loud with the bar area overflowing. I waited to check in as the front desk attendant explain to a guest they did not have any clean towels. After getting to our rooms we pulled the sheets back and there was popped popcorn and orange stains on the sheets. Pulled them back again and clumps of hair were on the mattress pad. Popcorn kernels were on the floor, knotted balls of hair on the tile floor and strands of hair on the towels in the bathroom. That was in one room. The second room had hair on the mattress pad and the couch cushions were stained so bad I was afraid to have my kids sit on them. We called the front desk and after 20 minutes she finally arrived. She stated she was the only one working on a Friday night when they were completely booked and didn't know how to clean the floors and she couldn't do anything but change the sheets and give us new towels. The mattress pad isn't able to be removed and they just put sheets over whatever is on the pad. I asked for a manager and she said she tried calling him 5 times and he did not return his call. When I asked for new rooms she said they were booked and then the bar employee called and told her two people were waiting to check in so she left us standing there to attend to them. Needless to say we left the hotel and found a new one on a Friday night for our family of 5.

Nice hotel but after checking in for the night found the sheets dirty on both beds in our room. Let front desk know she brought new sheets for me to change on the bed myself. Had to make 2 trips to front desk for correct items to remake bed.

Our stay here was a positive experience. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient on check-in. The lobby was inviting. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Room appeared clean, however when we spilled something on the floor and wiped it up we discovered that the floor probably had not been mopped in quite some time. Our room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good with sufficient choices. Just one negative....when we were packing our car for departure, desk clerks were smoking just outside the front entrance. Suggest a smoking area in the back of the building?

The kids loved it here, the pool was awesome and clean. The room was large and the beds were comfy. They offered daily room cleaning when we wanted it. Lots of room for our things. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was great, a lot of choices, something for everyone. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay and we loved it both times! Very pleasant and helpful staff; rooms are spacious, very clean and nice. The location is perfect, close to Legends Outlet Mall, Hollywood Casino, great shopping and great places to eat. We will definitely stay there again!

The check in was fast and the clerk very helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was secure and well lit. We were visiting the World War 1 museum, and it was easily accessible. There are multiple places to eat nearby.

I stayed at this hotel during a long term business trip to Kansas City from late December 2018 through mid March. The hotel is located west of Kansas City near the KC Speedway. My job was in downtown KC. The morning and evening rush hour is the “lightest” in the direction of this hotel which made my morning and evening commutes a breeze. There's easy access to interstate 70. Even after a winter snowstorm the roads were cleared quickly. The hotel is a very nice place! The staff is kind and courteous and went out of their way to accommodate the needs of my crazy work schedule. The hotel is clean with a nice business center, swimming pool and gym facilities. The “free” full hot breakfast is delicious and rivals that of the expensive hotels. The hot coffee in the lobby is replenished all day long. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is also located near the Legends Mall and a myriad of retail outlets. Everything you need is in the area without the heavy KC traffic. I've stay here a lot of work, and it is a great value. We've stayed at a lot of different hotels for work, and this is hands down the best. Business or pleasure, this is the best place in KC, KS. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always very helpful.

Friendly, clean and convenient. A great value for all of the amenities! It was also a great location. Walking distance from Kansas Speedway and the Legends shopping center. We've already reserved our stay for the next race!

We were looking for a place to stay at the last minute while driving from Des Moines. Wanted to be in this area & found a gem. The staff was great & accommodations were awesome. Would stay there in a heartbeat again.

A clean, comfortable property in an excellent location. The management and staff are always friendly and professional. Nice workout room and a bar open at night if that's your pleasure. I've stayed here 5 nights in the past 5 months and the staff has set themselves apart from the normal expectations. Management is top notch.

We had a king size bed room and it was great. There was tons of room and the bed was cozy. At check in there was coffee, water, tea, and iced tea available! I loved that there was iced tea. It was loud at night, so I would recommend requesting an upper floor if you are a light sleeper. The only things wrong were the lights above the bed kept turning off and then on (didn't report it since we were only staying one night), and there was a stain on the bedspread. I just didn't use the bed spread. Otherwise a great hotel and would definitely stay again.

This hotel is conveniently located to great shopping, many restaurants, movies and sports facilities. Sporting Kansas City's children's mercy park is across the street and Tbones baseball field is within walking distance.

This hotel was very nice. Great location! Right next to Soccer arena. There was a game there but traffic was controlled very well and hardly knew it. You can see the speedway from the hotel and great shopping area. Clean rooms, very nice people running the place. We were in room 321 and it needs a new hide a bed couch. But the beds were comfortable and it was clean. Would recommend this although the pool area was small.

I came to KCK for my grand daughters 4th birthday party. Needed a room to stay in. Selected this hotel and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! The lobby is just awesome! Bar area is awesome! I did not use the bar or the breakfast, but I am sure it was amazing because this is just a wonderful inn. I will for sure stay here again and tell all my friends about this lovely place. Right across the street from the soccer stadium. Kansas Speedway just up the street. Best place to stay!!

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. High noise level from parking lot, ice machines, and footsteps in room above. Would suggest you make sure there is no Soccer games taking place at arena next to this Hotel.

The room was nice but the fact the hide-a-bed cover was dirty and contained crumbs was gross. The bartender had a melt down and quit. The kitchen staff was more focused on going out smoking than keeping the breakfast bar stocked.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Cool decorations in the room that reflect the location being next to KC Speedway, which were NASCAR decorations on the walls and a NASCAR image on the walk in shower wall.

We stayed here while on a quick little fun trip with the kids. I'll admit, I only booked the room here due to the pool slide (which the kids loved!), but it was a nice place to stay as well. Friendly staff, comfy room, good breakfast. Would choose to stay here again if we were in the area.

Worst stay at a hotel ever!! Staff was rude and not helpful. Put us in wrong room, dirty hallways and shower curtain. Pool was not heated like ice!! Had to wait an hour for towels at pool!!! Asked for an extra blanket and was told they had none. Took grandkids to pool at 8:30 am and was told to get out that it didn't open till 10! When we went back other people were in there and said they had been in since 9 and no one told them to get out. Terrible terrible place!!

So check-in was fine and the lobby and pool area were really nice, once we got to the room, a double queen suite, all seemed well until I decided to use the pullout couch for my 8 year old. We found a pair of pink, very skimpy women's underwear, gross to say the least. Who know when the last time the sheets were changed on that pull-out? I told the front desk lady and she said, "soo what do you want me to do come throw it away"? I kind of laughed it off and told her I already had. On Saturday all seemed to be well until one of our other friends staying in the hotel had a man walk into their room at 9:00 pm using a key that was granted to him buy the front desk, he made it past the first bed in the room "looking for his wife." Luckily the tenants of the room requested the safety latch installed upon arrival, because it wasn't there. This same man attempt to gain entry to the room at 1:30 am and 2:00 am with the SAME key, but the latch stopped him. Talking to another person at breakfast that morning he said a man was arrest for stalking his wife at 6:00 am! That means this man was allowed to roam the halls while we were all asleep for at least 9 hours. I didn't know about the room entry piece until we had checked out and started home. I called the hotel from the road and asked for a manager, I was told he was "in the bathroom" and would call me back. I left my number. No return call. I called back 2 hours later and was told that he tried to call, not true no missed call and no message was left, and that he would call me "in the morning." It is now 12:25 pm and have yet to receive a call. The people at the front desk give keys to anyone that requests one and the maid staff can't even bother to check and see if any underwear on left in the room. DON'T STAY HERE!

There are many pros and cons to this Hotel but at the end of the day yes we would return. Pros-nice clean pool with a hot tub and side(bonus), nice hot breakfast(sausages, bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruit, breads, ect) hot coffee 24hrs, close to restaurants and shopping, updated rooms, check in at 3. Cons- pool doesn't open till 10am, pool area is too small for the big slide and after 3-4 families it's at a max, hotel hallways and lobby was cold.

Everything about this facility is top notch from the moment you walk in your treated like family. Amenities and well as the food and room is outstanding ! Would definitely recommend this hotel if your in the Kansas City area !

Great price, great service, and a warm welcome on a below zero night. Zoe got us 2 double queen rooms next to each other and next to an exit where we parked a truck and trailer. Bartender knew her stuff and Was very personable. Overall a great experience from a high end hotel at very reasonable prices.

Came here for business for 4 nights and was very happy with our experience. Good information given when requested and front desk was professional but had a sense of humor. Clean rooms and breakfast was also good. If we return to the area we will absolutely stay here again.

We ducked into the hotel for an overnight stay due to snowy weather conditions. Beautiful hotel with kind staff. All of the amenities were available including a hearty breakfast, pool, bar on site! There was even a workout room!

Our stay was a birthday party for my 9 year old and her friends. They even upgraded us! The pool has a 2 story water slide, there's a good selection of hot and cold breakfast and the customer service was top notch! It's def a great place for the money! And if you want to shop Legends Outlet mall is just across the street!

This hotel was AMAZING. HUGE value for what we paid. I had no idea what to expect, but any preconceived notions were surpassed. From the sitting area in the lobby, to the little alcove for kids to watch tv, the free breakfast (the pancake maker is awesome!), everything was well maintained and inviting. LOVED our room. The amenities in the room were nothing short of amazing. The frosted glass on the shower was a cute nod to the Speedway. We absolutely plan on staying here in the future!

I would definitely recommend this hotel! We were in town during a winter storm & even though they were busy & at capacity, the service did not ot suffer. Great location close to Kansas Speedway, Spirting KC soccer field & Legends outlet mall. A great place to stay!

Very clean and neat Best Western. We found this hotel on line while traveling and booked it sight on seen. I walked into the lobby and all I could smell was clean. The front staff lady was so friendly and helpful it was amazing.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The location was great with a lot of restaurants and stores around. The staff was friendly and the breakfast good. Some slight cleaning issues in the room, but the bed were comfortable and the room nicely appointed.

Update the rooms and get rid of the annoying banging sounds coming from the bathroom ceiling, I was really disappointed as neither of us could sleep. Also the breakfast was supposed to be good but things were always out of stock even though the staff had plenty of time to replenish they didnt do it in a rush, they were out of gravy, coffee, orange juice,pancakes and it took them 30 minutes to replenish all. Ridiculous!

I stay in hotels over 150 nights per year and this property ranks very high on the list of best places I've stayed in 2018. The staff was very friendly and competent; the manager was as well. The speedway/Legends area has a number of hotel choices and I would put this Best Western at the top of the list of choices.

Stayed here while we were in town for a soccer match (Go Timbers!) The location was perfect as it is right across the street from the stadium. There are also restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are nice as well as the staff, and the breakfast is good. We've stayed here on previous trips to KC, and we like staying here because it's on our way out of town. Had to leave in a hurry the next morning because of a winter storm moving into the area. The staff was very helpful with our early checkout. Would recommend this hotel if you're on the west side of KC near the race track.

Our first time here. It was close to Legends Outlets & lots of restaurants. The room was ok but my socks got dirty just walking around the room when we unpacked. Shower head was ridiculous. Could barely get my hair rinsed out. The guest phone in the room did not work to call the front desk and there was no ice available on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Had to go downstairs to get. The restaurant & bar were closed at 6 pm also. The restaurant is situated beside the main entrance so while eating breakfast, the cold air rushing in was really uncomfortable, & made our food & coffee get cold. It stayed open almost constantly while people were waiting for their bags & rides there. Won't stay here again. Not worth the rates they charge for all the inconveniences we had.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The parking was adequate and the breakfast had lots of choices and the food that was supposed to be hot was. I liked the fact that there was always hot coffee, tea, iced and hot water and iced tea available in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful and when I called to determine if I had left my favorite scarf in my room, the person on the phone found it and quickly volunteered to mail it back to me. The only issue I had was that one day my room did not get made up and when I went to the desk to complain it was immediately remedied, even though it was late in the evening. I also found this hotel to be located in a convenient spot. I would definitely stay here again.

We have now stayed at this hotel twice. We really enjoy it. People are very accommodating and the rooms have always been clean and well worth the money. We stay here when going to the soccer matches since it is right across the street. Look forward to future visits.

This was our first time staying at a BW Premiere, and will be our last. The quality of the hotel in comparison to the rate being charged is extremely overpriced. We had multiple issues upon check-in and had to switch rooms. The new room was full of issues as well (broken toilet, TV sound system inoperable, and the overall cleanliness). In addition, the hot tub broke (or so we were told) the night prior to our stay. The breakfast was the traditional hotel breakfast, and was probably the highlight of the stay. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, the overall experience was not worth the money paid.

Okay so they were doing some remodeling...definitely needed, but my stay was still great. The staff were all wonderful, heloful, and attendent. In fact I left my Under Armor sunglasses there and they are on the way back to me! The breakfast was amazing. Lots to choose from for adults and kids. They have a fun pool for the kids too, a decent business center, and nice gathering area on the main floor. Within walking distance to shopping and restaruants.

The room was great. Clean and very up to date. The pool area was a little cool but the slide is a blast. Not just for the kids either. Breakfast was good. Very good location. Close to the Legends outlet mall. Several restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for the NASCAR race and we loved it. Walking distance to the track and other shopping area. Conveniently Located to the casino and Downtown KC. Very clean and the staff was very helpful with recommendations for dinner restaurants. Will most definitely be back

Very nice hotel with large rooms. Location is great for Village West activities. Breakfast was very good. Having tea was an excellent addition to the 24/7 beverages available. We didn't use the pool, but I noticed a hot tub and a slide, so that would be nice for kids.

We have stayed at Best Western Plus hotels quite a few times and weren't sure how the "premier" property would be different. We did not care for the KC Speedway Inn in general. Our first room had a light bulb above the bed that was flickering so we asked to change rooms. Our request was accommodated readily. Our 2nd room had a bulb completely out over the bed. We did not ask to change again but did inform the desk clerk of the issue so they could fix for the next guests. Our room was clean enough but the decor was very dark & almost forbidding, and the lighting very harsh. Bathroom lighting was harsh and insufficient. The water for tea in the lobby was cold. The sink in the bathroom did have 2 separate water faucets- we're not sure what the second one is for. All in all not a welcoming feeling at all here.

We enjoyed the water slide at the pool, especially my grandson! With the pool being on the small side it got crowded pretty quickly. The breakfast selection was very good. We were disappointed on our checkout morning that it was not open yet. Overall very nice and would go back when in the area.

Was in Kansas City for The American Royal World Series of Barbecue. Stayed at the hotel three nights. This facility is the best all the way around. They have a great staff, everyone is friendly and helpful. The hotel and the grounds are well maintained, and very appealing. I normally stay with Best Western, because they are usually the best. Best Western Kansas City Speedway is the best so for. Thanks for a great stay.

This hotel is a standard but convenient hotel. Employees are very friendly. Rooms are standard, maybe little dark. Breakfast is simple but good. Always coffee and water available in lobby. Hotels doesn't have a restaurant for dinner but nearby is a nice outlet mall with many restaurants easy to access by car or even on walking distance. The maintenance of the hotel is very good. Internet is working well.

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The bed was comfy and the curtains did a stellar job in blocking out the light....that's important if you like to sleep in. The indoor pool (awesome twisty slide included) was nice and clean. The hot tub was also very clean and very relaxing. The area feels safe. You can walk a half a mile and be surrounded by lots of eateries, a massive movie theater, and more stores than you have money. This place is definitely recommended in my book.

Best Western Speedway Inn is located very close to Sporting Kansas City soccer stadium, Tbones baseball field, Kansas speedway, lots of shopping and eateries. The hotel is very nice and the staff are great!

Was having a bad night tire blow out on interstate we did not have a spare we had to limped it to the hotel , it was late. We where checking in Ricky was very nice and gave me an upgrade and took care of us

The location is amazing. We love staying here for Sporting KC games, but we also enjoy staying here in general (near events, shopping, and food). The rooms are simple, spacious, and clean. The staff is always kind and helpful. We've stayed here many times over the past 5 years and plan to stay here many more. For all these perks, we also feel it's very reasonably priced.

Family getaway just begore school starts. Hotel is in great proximity to Legends outlet mall. Great restaurants close by as well. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Wife loved the lemon water in the lobby, I like the tea in the lobby.

The location was great. It is right across the street for the speedway race track, close to the baseball fields, the Hollywood Casino, 15 restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean and the details were great. The room numbers on the doors were race cars, the lamps had gas paddles to turn on and off the lamps. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Could NOT ask for a better location when visiting for a Sporting Game. Literally right across the street. Lobby was inviting, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower pressure was good. Truly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back

Indoor pool with slide that is excellent for kids, inexpensive lobby bar that is great for adults, and complimentary full hot breakfast with many options. Legends mall, soccer stadium, and restaurants all within walking distance. Fantastic customer service...my first choice for future business and personal trips to KC. The entire staff from management to front desk to the maintenance staff went out of their way to make this an exceptional stay on every level. I have traveled extensively for work over 20 years and this is the first review I have ever felt compelled to write. Very well done!

We recently stayed and had a great time. Beautiful place, great location near shopping, Casino, and restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Ricky at the front desk was super great and very helpful. Breakfast was your average free breakfast but no complaints at all. We would defiantly stay again. One thing I wish they had was an out door pool.

The staff is courteous and quick, room is clean, and breakfast is great. Can't get any closer to the stadium. Shopping is also close and convenient. Stayed here on multiple occasions and never let down.

Rashid and his entire staff are absolutely first-class. I recently had an extended stay here for work and the staff constantly went out of their way to attend to our needs. The property is in excellent condition, well-maintained, and rooms are spotless.

Good place to stay. The chlorine in the pool was a little strong but overall kids had a good time. Had good features for the price and the rooms were clean. Check in and check out was easy. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The location is great, right next to shopping outlet mall, movie theater and tons of restaurants. The rooms were adequate size, they were clean and the shower was great, lots of good water pressure. However, the breakfast was very disappointing for a Best Western hotel. We always choose Best Western hotels and usually enjoy the breakfast, especially the waffles but this hotel was such a disappointment. They had a pancake machine that pushed out chewy pancakes, did not have a waffle maker and worst of all the gravy was COLD EVERYDAY! The biscuits were hard 2 of the 4 days and the eggs were runny. When we told the staff about the cold gravy she just shrugged her shoulders and ignored us. It's sad when the best thing on the hot breakfast menu is the cold cereal. Also, if you have smaller kids who love to play in the pool there isn't much room to do that in this pool. There is a cool water slide, which is great for older kids and adults but the pool itself is so small the drop off for the water slide takes up most of the space. There is certainly not room to do any lap swimming. Unless your kids are decent swimmers or over 5 feet tall, this is really not a kid friendly pool.

Hotel was clean, and I'm a little picky when it comes to that. Kids loved the pool/slide. Breakfast was great every morning. Every staff member I came in contact with would go out of their way to help us with such a positive attitude. Felt like they really wanted to make sure our needs were met and never seemed put out or busy. We travel a lot for sports and it's not something we see too often. We stayed for 5 days and every staff member we came in contact was amazing.

Hotel was nice, close to a lot of activities, I would stay here again. The room was big with a nice sitting area, but both the furniture and the bed were pretty uncomfortable. The desk was very nice for the work I needed to do.

The hotel had a nice appearance inside and out and the staff was very pleasant. The indoor pool was very fun as it had a slide that the kids had a blast on. The breakfast was on par with other hotels that offer breakfast, not bad but not great either. Still, much better than so called

We found this on Trip Advisor, a good top. Very nice room at a very reasonable rate. It must be off season for the Speedway. There is a lot of shopping in the immediate area. Did I me toon there is a lot of shopping in the immediate area? It was by far the most comfortable bed I slept in at a hotel in a long time. It has a hide bar in the lobby that doubles as the breakfast area in the morning. I recommend it if you are traveling to or through KansasCity, KS.

Nice place to stay. Was impressed with hotel. Clean rooms, nice beds, very roomy. The pool was awesome with a cool slide. Nice breakfast and bar area. We used the washer and dryer which was nice to have at hotel. The only problem I had was a new staff member did my booking wrong and I was charged a substantial amount more than I should have but it was taken care of and refunded back after about a week.

Had an amazing time here the track is always fun I do wish that the seats were a little updated on a hot day it is not fun sitting on aluminum and the concession stand is quite far away still we do plan on returning

This is the second time we've stayed here and it didn't disappoint. Our room was clean and conveniently located on the first floor. The only small negatives are the harsh lighting in our room (101). The lighting almost seems industrial, not warm at all. The second thing would be the lighting in the indoor pool area. It's so dark in there that I thought they forgot to turn on the overheads, but all the lights they had were on! That's it. Besides these two small points it's a great, friendly place to stay.

This was a great location for us. Good restaurants and shopping across the street. The gentleman at the front desk recommended and casual place with great bbq. The bar was hopping but the drinks were worth the wait

As I continue my 2018 West road trip this will be my third Best Western on this trip. I will say this one is one was very nice. Very closely located to a mall and restaurants. My room was very nice and clean. The pool was a little small but no big deal for me. beside a lot of kid was using it with the two story water side. The breakfast was the best out of all my Best Western stays on the road trip. I want to give a special Thank you to the front desk person "MANDY" she took special care of me.

I was extremely happy with the hotel, staff, my room and the extras that came with my stay. It was convenient to shops, restaurants and activities. Families will enjoy the slide at the pool and the free refreshments in the lobby. My 10-year-old gives it 5 stars.

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and very eager to help with anything we asked for. The room was nice. The whole hotel was very cute. The pillows and beds, oh man. They were THE best. I had the best sleep of my whole week of traveling at this hotel. The hotel was clean and maintained, which is always a plus. The pool may have been small but the slide was a lot of fun. My only suggestion is to maybe lower the chlorine levels (just sitting in the room, our eyes were stinging from the levels). The free breakfast was great. My favorite part was the pancake maker!

Good location. Room had an odor. Housekeeping never made up our room as we were gone for 6 hours during the day. The phone wake up service was poor. The staff was friendly. The lobby and breakfast service was pretty well done.

Great value and quality for price, great location. We enjoyed the Kinetico filtered water in theroom. A very nice and unexpected touch. Bathroom lights should be brighter. Staff was pleasant and helpful. They even booked our next stay in a different city and state.

My girlfriend and I have used this motel multiple times always high priced which isn't my point my problem was the absolute disgusting conditions of the 3rd floor and staircase. Vomit on the wall and carpet in the stairwell food chunks in lobby bathroom the top floor had an AWFUL ODOR OF SEWEGE THAT STUNK UP THE ROOMS AND ANY SINK/SHOWER DRAINS!!!! We won't be returning

My husband and I stayed here during race weekend. Unfortunately my review won't be positive due to the cost of the room, which was very expensive in comparison to what we initially had booked and for simply a bed to sleep in. We even had a “great discount” and it was double the price of other nearby hotels (3-3.5 star). We liked the hotel for the proximity to the speedway (walking distance). The wifi when we were at the hotel was spotty and only worked when it wanted to. We approached the staff and they advised us it was “a busy time”. The pool area was rated well but we never made it as we were away from the hotel the majority of the day/evening and it closed by 10pm! The breakfast was good and varied. The room was ok, a standard 2-queen bed room. There were really no major concerns other than the fake eye lashes we found in our bed (yuck). Next time we are in Kansas, we likely won't stay here and would find something more affordable.

Loved the breakfast and hot tub. The pool had a slide which was cool and a different activity in most hotels. Very nice decor inside and outside. I had a enjoyable stay and will come back. Also loved the location, close to the speedway.

I like this place because it has nice clean rooms, a bar and a cool hot tub and pool with a slide in it for the kids. The staff is friendly as well. They do have rooms with balconies but I believe they are all queen size. This is the 2nd best place in the Legends.

The Best Western Premier KC Speedway Inn & Suites is a GREAT place to stay when in the KC area. It's location is practically next door to the speedway (obviously), Legends shopping center, Nebraska Furniture, Hollywood Casino, and loads of places to eat. All this, and you will still have a very quiet retreat with your room. Great breakfast also (real eggs!!!). You're also close to anywhere via the highways, so this is really a great place to call your temporary home.

It is a lovely little hotel. Clean and accommodating. Great slide at the indoor pool if you have young kids. Decor is a little outdated and rooms are not well lit but it is super clean and the staff is great!

Close to many amenities, easy access from interstate. Pool smaller than it appears in pictures online and murky, not friendly for toddlers. Rooms were clean and good customer service. Good breakfast, need additional seating in that area. Would stay again because of location.

Wonderful stay, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping! Room was big, clean, and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was super clean! Breakfast was great and the area (Legends) was perfect for food and shopping! Can't say enough good things about our stay! Definitely will stay here again!

Very helpful staff that gave us a great deal. A kid friendly pool with a great water slide. The free breakfast was great with a lot of choices. Our room was spacious that included a sofa bed and 2 tvs.

Really liked this hotel. The nice check in staff, clean room, pool etc.. Large bathroom with great towels and accessories. Loved the stay until I laid down. Mattresses are like sleeping on a slab of marble. Woke up needing coffee and 2 Aleve.

The only good thing about this hotel is the convenience of the location to shopping and activities and right off the interstate. We stayed in a king room. We liked the set up but it was not that spacious to have a toddler bed in. We liked how the bathroom sink was separate from the shower so others could get ready while one showered. The bed and sheets were so uncomfortable. Our neighbors on our floor were loud at 2 am when coming back from their activities. You can hear suitcases roll on the tile near the elevator which is really annoying at 2 am. The pool/hot tub was nice. However the slide is dangerously fast in our adult opinions. Our child wanted to do it but we would not let her because I went down it and it shot me under water. I would use caution when letting certain age kids use the slide. The breakfast was awful. Slimy eggs, over done sausage. The pancake machine was cool though.

We stayed one night at Best Western Premier. The room was spacious. The hotel is fairly new so everything is up-to-date. Other reviews that I have read prior to our stay highlighted the cold temperature of the pool and this was the case with our visit as well. The room was quiet which was great for a good nights sleep. We would definitely stay again. This is also a pet friendly hotel which I do not know when I made my reservation so next time will bring our special fur baby with us.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at, the staff were up beat and nice. The pool was great with a slide and hot tub. I recommend 3 floor with a balcony overlooking the speedway. Got shopping at the and movies at the lengends.

Was in town from March 5th to March 9th 2018 for work. There were two of us in a junior suite. Room was clean and tidy. Two (!) TVs in the room. Breakfast was a nice touch. Sadly, never had a chance to get to the pool. Front desk staff was very friendly and resourceful. Overall, a good experiences

This truly is the number 1 Best Western hotel anywhere in the country. We've stayed at Best Western and other properties from Minnesota to California. The staff here was friendly, helpful and professional. The free breakfast included real, not over cooked, eggs and crispy bacon. We will definitely stay here again while traveling through Kansas City.

Very nice hotel. My son loved the slide and the pool and hot tub were both clean. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of selection. The area with legends the sporting kc arena and the speedway is awesome. We will definitely be back in the future

Everyone was very friendly, rooms and breakfast was excellent. Great slide in the pool area for the kids. Laundry areas available. Close to the Legends mall and a lot of resturants and shopping. And if you like nascar it is right next to the speedway.

This location exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns but this one was one of the very best we have found! The sound system in the room was great, the free hbo was also good. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, employees were great and it was quiet even though full of kids. We just wanted a weekend away to relax we had tickets to see Kid Rock and other than that we never left the room!!

All good in KC for a complicated surgery procedure because I got an affordable safe and quiet rest and was able to be better focused on the procedure and ultimately had a faster recovery because I had rest

This is our favorite place to stay when we are in Kansas city. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were not happy with the bathrooms shower but after check out the staff put in a work order. We will go back again.

Excellent hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Hot Breakfast was great. Actually had real eggs and not powdered. We had a great time in the pool with the slide & hot tub with our kids and grandkids. Excellent location by the Legends Shopping Mall, racetrack, ball diamond and soccer stadium. I would definitely stay here again.

My friend and myself stayed at this Best Western to watch the NCAA Division 1 Volleyball tournament, the location was extremely convenient, the hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and it was an all around great stay. We had some off hours due to the tournament so we were able to meet everyone from the third shift people, to day shift, and maintenance everyone was polite and helped us anyway they could. Definitely coming back!!

This is the 2nd time my daughter and I have stayed at this hotel, and it will be the only one we will ever stay at in KC. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are wonderful, and we have always gotten the amazingly warm pool and water slide to ourselves, which really brings out the kid in all of us! The breakfast is great, with a cool pancake making machine and lots of choices. I really cannot speak highly enough about the hotel, the staff, and the perfection of our stay.

We were in town because our daughter was having surgery at Children's Mercy hospital. The staff was very helpful in changing our reservations when they had to change schedules at the hospital. Sophia was our favorite! ??

I knew it was going to be a spectacular weekend for the NCAA D2 National Championships when we pulled up to the entry of this hotel!!! The location to Children's Mercy Park and the Kansas City Speedway is PERFECT. Nearby is shopping and restaurants, too. If you are planning to visit Kansas City, Missouri, check into getting a rental car as taxi service to the airport, The Plaza, as well as the Power and Light District was about $50 to $70 each way.

We were attending an event at the Children's Mercy Park. We were surprised to see that if it was any closer, it would be attached to the park. The rooms were clean, and the staff made us feel like family. MINOR downsides, the water pressure was so low, it could barely rinse my hair, and the internet was fairly slow. Other than that, perfect. I will stay there again for any future events at Children's Mercy Park, or Kansas Speedway

Sophia at the front desk was fabulous during our arrival and when we checked out in the morning. Hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays and the breakfast staff was quick and efficient. No problems at all during the duration of our stay.

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, front desk staff was awesome. Breakfast was good and had several options including pancakes, bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and many other choices. The pool was warm and water slide was fun. Right by the speedway.

This was our first stay in this hotel and location. We will definitely stay again. The location is great for shopping at Legends Outlet, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Cabelas, and other stores. There are many restaurants to choose from as well. The hotel had quick and easy check in. The staff were all friendly. We had a king room with fridge, microwave, and safe. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. It was very nice to have bath towels that were luxurious. The air conditioner / heater unit was relatively quiet. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. There is coffee, hot water, tea, and water available in the lobby. Pool, water slide and hot tub were a bonus.

I normally don't write reviews but after my stay here I had to. Manager, front desk, breakfast crew, housekeeping & night crew were all extremely friendly and hospitable. Several times they went above and beyond to make our stay special, we were taking some time away to celebrate our anniversary and they definitely made our stay special, if we are ever needing a hotel in the area again I know right where I am going to go again! Nice rooms, clean rooms, great atmosphere, good workout room, awesome pool and hot tub, incredible location (lots of fun things to do with great fast-food and sit down restaurants) with plenty and VERY nice hot breakfast! Again we were blown by the quality and the customer-service that they offered, INCREDIBLE!

KC Speedway Inn and Suites is perfectly placed to put you within walking distance of all Activities near The Legends. We had a suite that was large enough for my family to spread out a little and the pull out sofa bed was novelty enough to keep my pre-schooler out of mommy and daddys bed. The kids loved the water slide at the pool and were stoked to have bacon among the breakfast items.

I checked into the Best Western Premier KC Speedway Inn & Suites, Kansas City, Kansas expecting a great place to stay because of it being a Best Western property but I was truly floored by the ultra-modern decor in the lobby, the dining area and most of all the room itself. This property competes with some of the best I've stayed in in major cities around the country. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better bang for the buck.

Good staff. Nice rooms. Complimentary breakfast. Decent size pool area with jacuzzi. Decent fitness room for a hotel. Fairly priced. I cant complain about my stay at all. I would stay at this property again.

The hotel was wonderful. Very pretty. Staff friendly and helpful. Love the coffee/water/tea station in the front of the hotel, but the check-in desk. Only issue - cold breakfast. Turn up the burners and there would be no issue.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and my kids loved the pool with the slide and breakfast included is always great for a big family. The food was very good and fresh. This is a great little getaway next to TONS of things to do in North KC - we will be back when we can watch soccer next year.

We were back to this hotel last night. Another great stay. Tiffany welcomed us late last night and was super to upgrade us to a King Suite because we were Best Western Members. She made us know she cared about our stay. Super night service. Never got to see my Star as the bar was closed when we arived. Got in late...... See you in a few weeks Star. Room again was super clean. Christina checked us out in the morning and was super nice. Breakfast was excellent and eggs are real, not out of a bag. My wife loves their biscuits and sausage gravy. Will stay again soon. Our favorite hotel.

This hotel is in a great location near airport, local restaurants, shopping and family activities. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Will stay here again. Rooms are clean and updated. Bar area is very nice. Breakfast was good.

Very close to the track and a great place to watch the haulers leaving the track. Most of the guests are race fans and share the fun of the two race weekends. The breakfast is wonderful and all the staff members are helpful. If we decide to shop at Legends, this would also be a great place to stay.

Close to shopping and Great KC food and speedway. Helpful staff great service and very comfortable beds and rooms. The overall appearance of the Bestwestern Premiere is just that Premiere black granite pillars in the lobby and rooms with balconies. Great place to stay!

The service at this hotel is A one. The rooms were clean and nice. The beds and pillows were great. Will stay here when in the area again. Great attractions and shopping close by. Plenty of wonderful restaurants close, some with in walking distance.

This location has just about anything you need and some extras! The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. It is in a great location very close to shopping and all kinds of food/restaurant options. The speedway is just outside the door also. Great pool and fitness area. The rooms are comfortable, up to date and very clean.

Upon arrival the clerk was very cheerful and helpful. All during our stay we had no problems and were very comfortable. I asked for Tylenol and was given all I wanted. On check out we were asked if our stay was good. It was.

Hotel was extremly nice, but a bit pricey for a 2 night stay. Used no amenities as we were staffing the Scouting 500 at the Kansas Speedway. I will stay here again the next time this even is held. Staff was very nice at check in and out. Access to the Kansas Speedway is excellent, could not get any closer!

Every member of the staff was friendly and went to great lengths to make my stay exceptional. Rashid in particular was great but it was across the board. The rooms are comfortable, great beds and TV/sound system. Maybe the decor needs a refresher, but I wouldn't change a thing. Value-for-money, location, comfort, breakfast, staff...excellent.

No complaints. Nice hotel and location. Out balcony door wouldn't lock, but we didn't call maintenance. I'd stay again. We had to get towels from downstairs one day and they were really concerned about why. We slept in so no one could clean our room. Liked that they were concerned. I wasn't. ;-)

All Best Western Hotels should be as nice and accommodating as this hotel and staff! Walking in from the outside, past the fountain, was inviting. The hotel lobby was open with lots of seating, light, and clean. The staff we dealt with during our stay, especially Rashid, were warm, welcoming, and super customer service oriented. The lobby area had a small bar where one could purchase evening drinks, an extra area for kids to watch tv, a coffee/water bar, and a small grocery area. There were lots of tables for the morning breakfast spread (lots of options), which is included in the price of the room. Although we did not use them, there was a swimming pool with a slide and a workout room indoors as well. We were upgraded to a balcony room and enjoyed sitting outside and having a drink. The rooms are large and clean. Lots of outlets everywhere, free wifi, and the beds were very comfortable with a selection of pillows. My only recommendation would be to have a mirror above the desk so that when couples are staying there, one person could use that mirror (for putting on makeup, etc.) while the other was showering, etc. The hotel was within walking distance to the speedway, Nebraska Furniture and a little longer walk to the Legends Mall and restaurants. There was also a shuttle available to and from Hollywood Casino. Parking was readily available at no charge. We would definitely recommend this hotel and, once again, appreciate the customer service we received while there.

The hotel was close to the location of the American Royal BBQ. All staff members were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel has many amenities. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

...but the service is lacking. We stayed Fri-Mon, and never once did they make up the room. We had to snag towels off of a sitting cart. For the price you pay, you'd expect a clean room. The breakfast is average, no better or no worst than motels a third the price. The room is noisy from traffic noise and people stomping on the roof. On the plus side, the beds are comfortable. There is a large TV in the room, which is nice to watch a football game on. Parking is adequate. Desk staff are friendly and efficient. I could not recommend to a friend.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. It has a great lobby, great breakfast, great room, surround sound in the room, etc. Everything was great until I woke up the next morning. I turned back the covers and found yellow stains throughout the comforter. There were multiple stain spots that looked like they had been there awhile. It definitely turned me off and made me feel gross that I just slept in that. They definitely need to clean their bed comforters more often.

This is the best Best Western I have ever stayed at. The rest should model themselves after this one. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was good. We had an issue with a toilet breaking and it was handled quickly and efficiently.

The area is called The Legends....very happening with tons of shopping and restaurants. We were here for the 3 week early surprise birth of our grandson. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. I was disappointed in the price gouging on Sunday night for the solar eclipse crowd....which we weren't even there for. Our room on Sunday night was $233 compared to $103 - $107 each night after for the week. The room had the nicest smell when we walked in. We had a king bed, fridge, microwave, iron, Hamilton Beach coffee maker, hair dryer, huge swivel television (lots of channels), desk area, sitting chair/ottoman, very cold A/C. The bathroom had just a shower with granite walls and toilet. The vanity was outside the bath area with granite sink. It was big enough for my toiletries and my husbands. The closet had a safe and hangars inside. The closet door was a full length mirror and another full length mirror was hanging on the wall. There is a separate faucet at the sink that has filtered drinking water dispensed from it. The lobby is beautiful and well kept with lemon water and iced tea offered all the time. The grounds are very nice. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had tons of choices. I can't imagine anybody not finding something they like for breakfast. The eggs were always hot, fresh, and tasted real! Check in and out were VERY easy. We would definitely stay again.

I cannot say enough good things about the property/staff and amenities. I have stayed three times in six months. The last visit my family came and had a blast. The consistency they maintain is something that the staff/management and owners should be proud of. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back.

I've stayed here many times for work and was very satisfied. When I knew I'd be in the area with family, I didn't even check anywhere else. We're extremely glad we chose this hotel. If I come back to the area I will definitely stay here again.

We had an alarm clock in the room that we couldn't master, called the front desk and Hannah was rectifying the situation within a couple of minutes. The next day engineering addressed the bathroom sink (slow drain) and replaced a lightbulb. All requests were handled promptly and courteously. We would stay here again!

My family and I found the staff super friendly--even in the wee hours of the early morning when my little boy decided that he was "starving". We bought some snacks downstairs at the front desk and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Outstanding breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. I haven't tried the pool yet, but it looks good. It's indoors. Overall, having a wonderful experience so far.

Very consistent with every stay. We never are disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is always very clean. The onsite breakfast is very good with many selections to choose from. We have not had the same luck with other BW locations in the upper Midwest .

Beautiful hotel, impressed walking up to entrance, thats where it ended. One person in front of us, i overhear the clerk tell him there is no internet or cable because a storm the previous night knocked it out, Why did you wait 20 hours to have someone come work on it, fine whatever. We had no idea parking was going to be attrocious because of soccer gamer across the street. Lot was just about full, the spots that were available were extremely hard to get in to because for some reason they let electric company trucks take up 2 or 3 spots per truck. Pool was frigid, there were no towel in there, when i asked the clerk for more towels. He said sorry there are none because everyone takes them back to their rooms, ???and what you dont get them daily???, how do you not have towels, you are a hotel, you have to have extra towels, give us normal ones not the sandpaper ones with the blue stripe. Simple Simons comes highly recommended by reviews and the hotel, probably because they sponsor the keys, I highly recommend you order somewhere else, disgusting, ive had better frozen pizza, the crust was like cardboard, the kids didnt want to eat it because the sauce was spice hot, the cheese had no cheese pull because it was cold. trying to go to sleep at 10, was a frigin nightmare, The kids running back and forth upstairs and down the hall hollering, because the soccer game was over, pounding the floor and walls for almost 2 hours, complaint to the front desk yielded no result, i put ear plugs in and finally went to sleep. wouldnt have been so hard but the hotel bar closed at 9 on a sunday, how stupid. Breakfast was decent, except the stupid pancake machine that makes rubber, at least they had plain scrambled eggs.

Had to wait 15 minutes to get room, without much explanation. After that, this hotel was great. Room was nice, pool was great and it was in a great location. Will definitely look at staying here again the next time I am in KC.

My husband & I were driving home to Chicago from Colorado. We stopped just outside KC to rest halfway through our drive home. We found this hotel online and called while driving to get their last available room that night. When we arrived, I was impressed by the lobby decor and offerings of coffee (both regular & decaf), hot water, ice tea and water infused with cucumber. I suddenly wished we were staying more than one night! Our room was an accessible room (i.e. handicap) and was huge! For two adults, there was plenty of space to move around and place luggage. The room's a/c was turned way down which made it super cold in the room. This was the only negative. The next morning when we went to shower, I discovered they offer Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. I was again impressed! Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. We missed the free breakfast due to our late arrival the night before and sleeping in the next morning. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. As we left, we could see it was by a lot of shops and restaurants. Great location off of I-70. My only regret is that we found this hotel on a whim and couldn't stay longer.

Our family mini vacation to KC every year had us staying together Best Western Premier this year. The rooms were great, beds were comfortable and the staff was super friendly. Our daughter loved the pool with the slide. Will stay here at Christmas.

I do not recommend this particular location if you're traveling strictly for business. There was a lot le families and a lot of noise. The location however is working distance to the mall and restaurants. Also, housekeeping uses a lot of bleach to mask the funky smell of the lobby. Also, the rooms do not get clean thoroughly. I purposely left things like a strand of hair on the sink counter just to test my theory and I found it where I left it.

We only stayed for one night but the price was great, the kids loved the pool and slide, the room was clean and beds were comfy. The breakfast was good too. I was most pleased with the staff and how kind everyone was! Everyone we ran into was so nice and helpful! We will be back for sure!!!

Friendly, clean, great breakfast. Rooms were nice! Television speakers were in the ceiling above the head of the beds! Great spot! Check out was fast and easy! Breakfast was busy, but employee was interacting awesomely with consumers! Food was always full!!

The hotel staff was very welcoming. We were impressed with the 24 hour availability of lemon-infused water, iced tea, and various coffees in the lobby. The room was cleaned and smelled fresh upon entry.

The hotel was very nice had not problems and staff was always there when we needed them was there for family reunion would love to attend again good good good you must stay there the only thing that was not good was the pool had to much chlorine that it would burn your eyes and make the kids sick with a lot of coughing through the night

The rooms are very clean, the pool is great for the kids, and it is a great value considering how close you are to the Legends mall, the casino and the Speedway area. The bathroom in particular was very modern and original. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful especially Hanna. We were a group of 15 from Canada and we felt very safe in this hotel and everything we needed was within walking distance without the business of being in a city. Hanna arranged transportation for our whole group which was extremely helpful for us as we wanted to lots on a budget. Our kids were very excited to return after a tournament to show Hanna there medals. We would for sure use this hotel again. Thanks to Hanna, Steve and Matt.

Good location and you can tell it's been used. Needs to some TLC to repair and replace things. The bedding had stains on them and the mattresses were worn and stained. Chlorine level in pool area was tough to manage. Maid service came by to only give us new towels and didn't clean the room.

Everything at this hotel was excellent - great breakfast - staff very knowledgeable and courteous. The rooms are always kept clean by the staff. Congratulations to KR for her 5 years of service. We have visited with her since we started coming to this hotel. We do recommend folks try this hotel out. There is an indoor pool, and weight room for those that need to relax. Thank you Best Western Legends - what a wonderful place to stay.

Beds were not queen size (fulls) and not pillowtop--they were not comfortable :( We came back from long day of activities, room was tended to yet when we pull our newly made bed sheets back, the linens were stained with dry blood on our "clean" sheets! The beds were smaller than queens and not pillow top. However, our room accommodated my daughter's wheelchair. Bathroom big and nice. Still baffled as to why the hotel would designate a 2nd floor room to a wheelchair bound person when stairs are not an option for quick escape....

We had a great stay at Best Western Premier KC Speedway Inn & Suites. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great a good variety of breakfast items to choose from. Overall a successful trip. I would stay there again.

This was my first stay in a Best Western and I was not impressed at all. The location of the hotel was good, very close to shopping and restaurants. Upon entering our room, I immediately noticed the stains on the floor and that our bed was poorly made. The sheets were coming off the side of the bed before we even got on it and the room just did not appear to be very clean. There was dust all over the bathroom walls, fingerprints on the mirrors and mold/mildew on the shower curtain. The carpet in the hallways was coming up and the floors near the elevators were very sticky. The only thing that was good was the comfortable beds. I couldn't access the wifi with my laptop in the room and kept getting kicked off. The indoor pool was nice but we barley got to use it because the chemical smell inside was so bad that my eyes were burning while my son was swimming so we had to leave. They had complementary coffee, water and tea in the lobby all day which was nice. The breakfast in the morning was okay, the usual oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, fruit, muffins, juice, soda, eggs, pancakes, bagels and sausage. The day we went down for breakfast they opened it about 20 minutes late. I would give Best Western another try but if I am ever in Kansas City again it won't be at this location.

It was a very clean and nice hotel. I had a birthday party for my daughter and 6 guests. They enjoyed the pool slide and the location being close to the Legends. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to meet our requests.

I like this location. Restaurants and shopping are nearby. They have a great breakfast with real eggs and a good selection of other items. Lobby and breakfast area is very clean. The staff is very helpful. Not just the staff at the lobby, everyone is very nice.

Well another year and another visit to the Best Western KC Speedway, and once again everything was fantastic. The rooms were great, clean and well outfitted. The beds and the pillows were the best, slept like i was on a cloud. The staff, in particular Rasheed and Christina were the best as always. This was our eighth year using this Best Western, and I can tell you we will be back. The location to sports, casinos, stores and restaurants can't be any better. Thanks Rasheed

Great room! Great location! Small enough hotel to seem more personable! Friendly staff! Secure environment! Easy access to major highways! Close to shopping and restaurants! Will definitely go back if ever in the area!

Great location, good price, great free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, great amenities but room décor was slightly outdated (dark brown/orange comforter and carpet) lumpy bed and pillows. Also I started sneezing immediately once I entered room - not sure if due to pet hair or dust.

We stayed in several hotels on our driving trip across country. This was the nicest one that we stayed in and wished that we had more days to spend in KC. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we've experienced in a hotel in a long time. I could have slept for days! The hotel staff were nice and the amenities were excellent.

Comfy bed, nice lighting, super clean rooms, nice updates in rooms....but had trouble finding staff for check in, bar, breakfast and check out. Ended up going downtown for drinks since no bartender at 8pm.

The people were very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We originally went to another motel we had reserved online, but when we pulled up it was very unclean looking. We cancelled our reservation and went to this motel. We were very happy!!!

The hotel was really nice. The rooms were large and comfortable. Big TV and great sound. Hookups for every electronic device known to man - all at the same time. Breakfast was good. The food was hot and prepared nicely. Coffee, water and tea are available all day. The bar opens at 5. The hotel staff was very friendly. Overall a great stay.

I was very impressed with the quality of service I and my family receive during our stay. Keep up the good job. I'll always recommend your hotel to friends and family members. We enjoy the breakfast, my son went to swim in the pool. We met other people there that became our friends.

I am on the road a lot. This is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is great. It is located close to shopping and some great food places. The staff takes good care of me. Almost like being at home.

Our overall experience was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a huge variety and all was very good. Overall value for the night was excellent and rooms were clean. We had a wonderful experience.

We stumbled onto this hotel several years ago when it first opened. Since that time we have made a point of returning to it each time we are in the area. Simply stated, this hotel offers a comfortable and welcoming experience. From arrival in the parking lot all the way through departure, the staff makes the visitor's experience pleasant. We enjoy the variety of the breakfast bar and the comfort of the lounge area and lobby. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great countertops and access to charging outlets. Love the decor too! We shall return!

This hotel is great always clean and super friendly staff I always enjoy staying here. They have great amenities the slide in the pool for the kids and a bar for the adults. Definitely recommend staying here if your in the KC Kansas area great food up the street also

Best western premier kc speedway inn and suites is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable.The location is great for shopping, eating, Skc soccer games, tbones baseball games and so many other activities in the area.

By far the nicest Best Western ice stayed in. Pool with slide was great for when my kids came to see me. The breakfast might have been the best complimentary meal I've eaten at a hotel. Rooms are spacious and some have a nice balcony which was convenient for me being a smoker as this is a non smoking hotel(which I prefer)

It's a nice comfortable hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Just passing through Kansas City and was surprised by availability of rooms on Sunday near Basehor (aka Bonner). Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Near the Speedwayand other sporting event areas.

I came to Kansas city for my sons appointment at the Children's Mercy Hospital and found this hotel to stay at it looked great and near the mall and that was a plus at check in the lady was amazing I wish I could remember her name she was sweet and knew what she was doing and did it very well, as soon as I got to my room I was amazed the tv was huge as well as the bed I even had sound machine the bathroom was big there was a separate faucet for drinking water make up removers good shampoo and conditioner and more and the shower was amazing it had to be the best shower I have ever had in my life the swimming pool was heated and had a 2 story slide the next morning my breakfast was not the best I have ever had but it was ok after breakfast my one year old and I went out side and he played in the water fountain and then we walked to the racetrack that was very cool my trip was great and this hotel made it very fun!!

no parking available 95% of the time, was asked to move my car so someone else could park in the spot i had. wedding party until 1:00-2:00 a.m no sleep until around 3 then breakfast was null n void it was to packed and ppl were not getting up and considering others wanted to eat so ate else where

The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. It's was the third time there and highly recommend it. There lots of restaurants close by. The Cabela's and Nebraska furniture mart across from the hotel.

We took the grandkids for a short getaway. The Pool and Slide were great. Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff very friendly. The beds were very comfortable - slept on the fold out couch with the granddaughter. Not the best but it was a fold out couch.
