Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn & Suites

This Best Western is very close to interstate 80; great for a one night or multiple night's stay. Always helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Rooms are always clean and well taken care of. We've stayed at this particular Best Western multiple times and it's always a great experience.

This Best Western was a very nice hotel. Our king room was a good size and the room and bathroom were extremely clean. The gentleman at the front desk was very personable and helpful. We would definitely stay here again

From check in to check out our stay was amazing. The staff was able to help us with directions and a place to eat. Room was super clean and everything looked new. This is a gem in the dessert. Id recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

Very dirty and out dated same furniture in the hotel for pass 10 years.if not longer staff is friendly and professional grout in tile on floor is very dirty hotel has an small for the price they are charging I could of stayed and a cheaper hotel and felt cleaner

Gnats flying around the room, bed linen looked unchanged, old decripid place overpriced for area, limited eating places. I am a frequent user of best western and this is the worst we have been stayed at!

very clean, customer service was above par. easy travel to visit family and friends, located right off of main interstate. the pool and hot spa were very relaxing. the staff friendly and accommodating. breakfast served in morning, hot and plentiful. bed and room was very comfortable.

The staff is friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. Even being near Route 80 the room was quiet. The location is near many places to eat and some are 24 hour. You can get on and off Route 80 and reach the hotel quickly.

The accessible room was one of the best we've stayed in during this trip to Chicago. The hotel was very clean and the front desk couldn't be more helpful. The king bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Breakfast was another treat, will stay again on our next trip to Chicago.

The staff and amenities are very accommodating! I've been staying here since sping of '23 thru my company to do work near by and the staff foes out of their way help! Plenty of restaurants and things to do near by! Clean well kept hotel that I would definitely recommend to anyone!

We stayed here for 1 night in the middle of a 2-day road trip from Chicago to New Jersey. This is a very average hotel. We checked out less than a week ago, but I've already almost forgotten about it, that's how generic it was. Won't change your life. That being said, the room was clean, the AC worked, the pool was fine, and the breakfast was good. I would stay there again if I needed a place in the area.

On or return trip to Louisville Kentucky from Roxbury NY, we took a different route home. This was the first Best Western that we saw and stopped for the night. I can't comment on the breakfast yet, but I can say first and foremost… this location is well lit. We stopped at a couple of other places as it was getting dark and they were dark as well… not to mention “shady” looking so we decided to look for something else. Good thing it worked out that way or we would've missed out on this location. By the look of how many cars were in this parking lot… seems everyone had the same idea. This Best Western is very clean and neat in every aspect. Night clerk this evening Rahul was courteous, respectful and provided answers to our questions. This location is handicap accessible, has an elevator and believe it or not… their AC works… don't laugh… on our trip to Roxbury… we “had to stop and sleep”… AC made noise but no AC and the temperature was cooler outside than in the room. Eventually it cooled off a little after we had already fallen asleep Anyhooo, love this place, can't go wrong staying here.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. I had to change the day of arrival and it was taken care of with no issues. Easy access to the Highway both in and off.

We traveled with our two teenage boys - needed a place to rest on a way to Chicago. The hotel was excellent place - beds comfortable, with brilliantly clean bed linen and towels, and bathroom. Spa and swimming pool helped relax… And finally , staff was amazing: welcoming, helpful, efficient. Highly recommended.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are average. Could use a total upgrade. Parts of the room are very dated. Breakfast would be nice if they replenished the items taken and maybe something hot, too.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was friendly, cordial, and informative. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. “Downtown” Hubbard was easily accessible with loads of dining and “small town” shopping available. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

This appears to be an older property but is well-kept and updated. Everything was clean. Nice breakfast. The pool and hot tub were great - water was very clear and a good temp. Would definitely stay here again.

Traveling across the country I decided to hit the Best Westerns along the way. First choice was really good. Quiet location, good breakfast, good internet, bed was firm but comfy. Room was CLEAN & no noise from rowdy people. Had a nice swim in the pool & would return if in the area again.

Very clean and had all the features that we expected for the price. The staff was so welcoming and helpful! They interacted so kindly with my 2 and 3 year old and didn't bat an eye at my crazy 2 year old's insanity at breakfast. We would 100% stay again! The older man in housekeeping was absolutely wonderful to us as was the lady at the front desk as we were heading out.

The staff is friendly and efficient. I accidentally left two shirts in the room. As my route home--3 day trip--did not take me near Medina, I called the front desk. I was relieved when they knew of the abandoned shirts. They volunteered to send them to my home address.

We stayed at this Best Western as it was convenient for a sporting event we were attending at Youngstown State the next day. I was using my free night.The room was basic but clean and comfortable! We were pleasantly surprised in the morning that a full breakfast was offered.

The room was good and clean. The wifi worked fine. The breakfast was not good at all. They just served potatoes in the warm food section. The staff was friendly and the amenities worked fine too. Food needs improvement. The pillows were small and very hard.

I take my 5yr old son to the hotel on his birthday so he can swim. He had so much fun and greatly enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. The beds were comfortable. The staff were wonderful people.

We were very pleased with this hotel especially the reasonable price. While not really updated to the newest contemporary styles, it is well maintained, clean, nicely equipped and a friendly staff. We plan to return to this hotel on our way home!

We spent one night here on our recent road trip to Michigan. It was a nice half-way point for our trip. The hotel is conveniently close to the highway. The lobby was clean and welcoming. The room was clean and we felt safe. The hotel seemed a little worn, but it was very clean. The breakfast room was very nice. We were advised when we checked in that breakfast would only be cold items. That was perfectly fine with us. They had lots of options and we were very happy with breakfast. We have stayed here before when passing through and will most likely stay here again.

Just an average hotel stay. Jacuzzi was closed at 10pm. Breakfast was limited to juice coffee bagel and such. rooms were small and average. TV was small. Hotel seemed to spend money on their waiting room but not on their rooms.

All of the staff were friendly except for the girl at the front desk I heard one of the housekeepers call her Mel Mel she was very rude and when I handed her the tip I was going to leave with the housekeeper she took it and put it directly in her pocket. Smh I will never stay here again until this person is no longer working here.

This hotel is just far enough off the highway (distance-reduced noise) with plenty of parking for our boat trailer, while remaining convenient to Interstate 80 and associated services at the associated exit. We found the location convenient for our exploration of Ashtabula County's 19 covered bridges and Lake Erie shore area, as well as convenient to Pymatuning State Park. Personalized service at the hotel included manager's personal help in establishing contact between personal computer and internet server when a glitch arose.

My wife and I made a last minute decision to spend a few days away from home. After seeing recent reviews for other hotels we selected BW Penn-Ohio since there were no negative reviews. The outside was nice and the interior was ok except for a dying plant that kept dropping yellow leaves that were never cleaned up. Our initial room had a bad odor that got worse with the air conditioning on. There was mold in the AC vents. We moved to a better room, no odor, and no moldy AC vents. The beds were "well used" and once you found a comfortable spot you were good for the night. Breakfast was ok the first morning but had less options on day two so my wife and I went to the nearby Waffle House - I would recommend going there, Checkout was painless.

Our stay was Excellent in every way from the time we checked in until we left. glad we picked the Best Western to stay at. All family members enjoyed the stay. Will stay again next year when we travel to Ohio for out family reunion. We came from Pennsylvania , South Carolina and Kentucky.

This hotel indeed has a good location just off the highway and near many fast food restaurants. What you notice when entering the lobby is the dark, ornate look with lots of busy design--like straight out of a fancy 1980s home. Rooms were consistent with this decorating theme. It was no doubt attractive in its day, but the hotel needs a refresh in 2021. On a positive note, our room was relatively quiet with a comfortable bed. There was fresh coffee available in the lobby upon our 11 p.m. arrival. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and the refrigerator was in extreme need of defrosting. Breakfast was minimal (heavy on the carbs) with no fresh fruit and little protein, perhaps with reduced offerings due to COVID. The price paid was just a few dollars less than staying four miles away in Youngstown. This hotel met our need for a brief stay while driving cross country.

Front desk and room service is the worst I have ever experienced! Rooms were listed as cancelled when I arrived and false accusations towards me for cancelling my rooms when I arrived. Returned after a day of traveling in the area to find absolutely NO room service while I was gone!

The tub held water the sink didn't drain the "queen beds" were at best full size the hot tub was cold and customer service is non existent. Also was not given upgrade with gold membership upon request.

Great service, very clean but the pullout sofa bed was very uncomfortable for our 11 yr old and the jacuzzi rooms are super noisy. If you get a jacuzzi room, note that due to the way they ran the plumbing, the noise from other tubs above you, below you and next to you are very loud, kept us up most of the night. The hostess was very nice, probably would have moved us but we thought people would hit they hay and honor the 2 a.m. shut off. Pool was clean and we were able to reserve it and swim by ourselves. Would go back for this alone. Would have been 5 stars but we thought a jacuzzi would be something fun, different, just so loud.

Hotel is actually pretty nice , but if you are CLC and save your rewards points then avoid this hotel. Owner/ manager refuses to give points to corporate lodging guests. This is the only Best western that I came across that refuses to give points. Guess I will be staying somewhere else.

I was travelling eastbound on I-80 and needed a place to stay for the night. I selected the Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn & Suites for the stellar cleanliness reviews, which are particularly important when traveling through a pandemic. The grounds, lobby and room were indeed very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff that I met were all very friendly. I would normally add to the chorus of 5* reviews for that, but I cannot. The front desk person when we checked in was not wearing a mask, despite the sign posted on the door of the hotel informing guests that masks were required. I figured that he didn't because it was very quiet late at night, but I would have liked for him to have slipped one on when he saw us come in. He did not, so I kept my distance as much as I could at check in. When I left in the morning there were 3 staff clustered around the front desk and NONE of them were wearing masks. It wasn't just one rogue night time rule breaker on the staff. ALL of them ignored the mask mandate of the state of Ohio and the requirements set forth by Best Western to utilize PPE. I cannot recommend in any way a hotel whose staff flagrantly disregard both corporate and state safety rules and guidelines. It's obvious to me that management allows staff to not wear masks and simply does not care about the health and safety of the guests.

Our group had five rooms. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did very well. Front desk and owner/manager were very accommodating. Covid protocols were in place our four day visit. Meant restaurants nearby. (Try DiSilvios and Station Square Restaurante). Many inexpensive golf courses nearby.

We stayed overnight as we headed to PA and the next morning i forgot my grandmothers pillow in our hotel room (smh, i know). Well the morning manager offered to have it delivered to our home! That shows alot about their staff. The hotel was off the interstate but it was in the back so there wasnt any traffic noise, and it was nice and quiet. It was also clean, our only exception is that the mini fridge didnt work, but it wasnt a big deal. We let the manager know when we checked out. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a really nice hotel, just off Rt. 80. The owner warmly greeted me when I entered, and provided us with a clean, spacious room. The location is very busy, but because the hotel is set back behind the shops and roads, it is very quiet. Good for a restful night's sleep. There is plenty of parking (even for a big moving truck like we are driving). The best part? FRESH AIR! Most hotels these days don't have windows that open. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to get fresh, non-AC air blowing gently into our room. They have an elevator, vending machines, and the pool was even open (I was surprised, since every hotel on our 3,000-mile trip had closed pools, and no breakfast due to COVID. I'm not a pool person, but the kids staying here seemed to really be having fun). We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves passing through. Also, they are LGBTQI-friendly.

Usually do not stay in a Best Western, this one was right off Routes 70/80 near the PA border. Hotel is in a odd location, down a side road behind fast food facilities. We were greeted warmly, the room was large and clean. After five driving from Utah, the reasonable room rate was appreciated too. I would recommend this property.

The hotel was great. Very clean and no cigarette smoke smell which is very important to me. The breakfast that was served was up to standards. The bathroom was very big which was nice. It had an indoor pool, but we did not have a chance to use it.

Stay here several times a year as I make my way to the Midwest and back. Always friendly, always clean, always great rates! The only down fall is they require 200 characters to complete a review. Really?!

I travel quite a bit and in most cases Best Western never has let us down. I have never used this property in the past. I live in Hubbard and I booked this room for my son for his wedding night. In addition four other members of my family / friends booked rooms for the night as the wedding was on New Years Eve and no one wanted to drive home. I checked in early for my son so after the wedding he had to do nothing. The room was acceptable, however various stains on carpet / furniture , slight odor. Outside when your walking into the property it had cigarette butts all over the walkways.... just to mention some items. The fact it was in town was nice and helped but as a value, I would never recommend this too anyone.

Was in town visiting friends and wanted somewhere close. Everyone I dealt with at the hotel was great but the overall experience was rough. The bed was probably the worst bed I've slept in at a hotel. Just hard and uncomfortable. The pillows weren't much better and a real comforter would have made things much better than the thin itchy blankets provided. Breakfast was another miss. Somehow the sausage and potatoes were soft and tasteless. I decided to hit the McDonalds after tossing my plate. I made the mistake of looking under the bed after dropping something. A few bottles, bottle caps, litter, and dried bits of food were living under there. Pretty gross.

If you're looking at reviews as I do time to time, stop here and save yourself time. You found a great Best Western. Courteous friendly staff, nice comfortable rooms/beds, excellent hot full breakfast buffet and more.

Nice hotel for those driving West on Interstate 80 from New York. About 400 miles from NYC, so it is convenient location for those making an all-day drive. Plenty of restaurants/service stations in immediate area. Tremendous home-made ice cream parlour (Katie's Korner) next door.

Visiting recently in Sharon, PA and Youngstown, OH. This hotel was convient to both areas and met all my needs. Staff was cordial and efficient. Overall good experience. I have stayed there previously.

Best location - independently owned and operated. Always high standards, amenities, clean, safe, and very pleasing! The staff is helpful, and the facility is in great condition. There is a ton of attention to detail. Love this hotel!

The decor is my style. The only drawback might be noise from other rooms-while here the hotel was underbooked and it wasn't a problem, but I could see how one might hear footsteps in the room above. The rooms were furnished in a homely, classic style I really like--not the bland, corporate vision of many hotels, and Cassandra at the front desk was wonderfully helpful. I left with a commitment to return. There's only one other Best Western that I've enjoyed quite so much in Ohio--the Mentor hotel.

We had a total of 4 hours of sleep due to the horrendous noise in the unit above. Couldn't contact the front desk in the middle of the night from the room phone, which kept disconnecting us. After getting through to the front desk on my cell phone, GENE told us he would remedy the noise. Needless to say, he did not, and did not answer any other calls from me during the night to complain that the noise was only getting worse. When I complained to headquarters, they told us GENE had no record of us calling that night regarding the noise. LOL. I guess that's an easy way to handle complaints and refuse a refund- say you don't have a record of it. So absurd that it's funny. What a horrible experience.

Every year my family and I stay at the Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn & Suites and it is consistently a terrific place to stay - comfortable, clean, friendly! We never experience any issues, and will continue to stay here during our annual trip!

We drive to for family visits once or twice a year and always stay at this hotel because we're comfortable and we know it's clean. There was one time we didn't make reservations around a holiday and were very disappointed there were no rooms available. Now we make our reservations so there are no more disappointments.

hotel very clean hot tub and pool area beautiful , breakfast was great hot( eggs and bacon and sausage) and cold food choices. people very friendly, hotel right off highway easy to get to will stay again when traveling to Ohio.

finally got thru Pennsylvania and needed to stop for the night. Located right off route 80 so real easy to get to. we prefer BWs as they are moderately priced, safe, comfortable and offer a great Continental Breakfast. W were happy with this overnight stay.

We stayed for 2 nights at this motel and it was a great 2 days. Really loved the hot whirlpool. The breakfast on Thursday morning was a bit disappointing because I was really looking forward to a waffle but because we had to leave for Cleveland early in the morning the waffle machine was not properly heated up and the waffles were mostly all dough and you had to scrape it off the plates a bummer. The 2nd day we didn't have to get up so early and the machine was working properly. I don't know if they have handicap rooms I did get by without one but it would have been nice to have one. I would recommend this motel as we had no big issues except the waffles the 1st day. The breakfast is pretty extensive though. Cold cereal, eggs, bacon, muffins and some other pastry. Also oatmeal and toast along with bagels. Also orange juice and apple. Coffee and hot tea. Something for everyone. If you find this review helpful please give me a helpful vote

We reached the best western really late at night and the staff was nothing but helpful and accommodating. They even let us check out an hour late. In addition to that since we were checking out late the breakfast had ended, but they went out of their way to allow us eat and gave us whatever we wanted/needed. There were also two employees that were particularly helpful by the names of Eugene and Patrick. This is not our first experience with this hotel, and I am pleased to say that we have been satisfied both times. We will definitely staying in this hotel in the future.

The hotel is right off Route 80 and convenient to the town of Hubbard as well as Sharon, PA. We chose this one over another with similar amenities at a lower price because it looked nicer in the photos on the website. I was happy to see that the property looks just like it did in the pics. I wasn't there long enough to take advantage of the indoor pool, that was also a selling point as well as a refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee, and a microwave in the room. The free breakfast and wi-fi were great. Truck World Mall, across the road, has anything else you may need during your stay.

Stayed over the holiday while visiting family. Check in was quick and easy and room was nice. No one slept well, as every noise could be heard from the adjoining room and the room overhead. Room hadn't been cleaned properly and we found garbage under the beds from the previous guest. Breakfast was served everyday which was nice! Eggs were cold and bacon wasn't that good (almost impossible I know), but waffles were great and we appreciated having the complimentary breakfast. We will stay again, not so much because we loved our stay, but because of the convenience of being so close to family.

The property is convenient to route 80 yet set back enough to feel quiet and private. The room was very big, clean, and modern. The staff was helpful and I would definitely stay here again. The price was reasonable too.

We stayed one night during a trip east to visit friends. The room was a nice size, with a King bed, microwave, and fridge. The elevator looked brand new, and the tile in the pool area bright white and very clean and new looking. The hot tub was pleasant, not too hot but that's ok. Pool area and pool was small. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. We would recommend this hotel to any travelers

The Best Western Penn-Ohio is a terrific lodging selection. It's easily accessible from I-80. The customer service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean and reasonably priced. The free breakfast offers a variety of dishes to start your day off right.

The team at the Penn-Ohio Best Western have been absolutely wonderful, and accommodating l am Handicap and use a hoveround mobile chair they have done everything possible to make my stay extremely enjoyable.

We stayed one night at the Best Western in Hubbard, while travelling eastbound on I-80. Our room was large, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. Refrigerator in room worked real well. Took advantage of the jacuzzi by the pool. Breakfast was very good. There was a waffle maker and plenty of other options. The only issue we had was the alarm in the clock radio went off at midnight, and we could not figure out how to reset the alarm for a more reasonable time. We would stay here again.

First time at this Best Western, but stayed at many across the country. It was really a very good stay. Located right off Rt. 80 ramp, the building, grounds, facilities and room very nice. The reasonably priced rooms made it a good buy. After a long trip from NY, Patrick , the desk manager, upgraded our room. We truly appreciated it. Mary in the kitchen obliged to make my wife, who is gluten intolerant, plain eggs omelet. The whole experience was appreciated. The only complaint is the mattress need to be changed , it was too soft.

A group of us stayed at this location as we made our way home from a motorcycle trip. It was a hot day, we were excited to use the pool when we got there. Overall the place was welcoming and accommodating, would recommend a stay here. Will be staying here again if the need arises.

Motel was clean, comfortable, in good condition, and located conveniantly off the I-80 exit. Motel has as an exercise room and indoor pool for those so inclined. They offer decent, full breakfast options

Many of our family stayed at this motel for a week for our reunion. The motel is clean and the people were very friendly. We travel a lot showing our dogs and we try to support motels that allow pets and most of the Best Western motels do, however this one doesn't, a bummer. So we won't stay here when we are showing which is to bad it is a nice place.

Spent the night here visiting family in the area. Not a great hotel, not a bad hotel. Desk Clerk was polite. Room was comfortable but it wasn't the Marriott! Definitely a nice play to stay for the cost which was moderate.

We had a spacious king room which was very comfortable. Breakfast included omelettes, seasoned potatoes, sausage, make your waffles, cold cereals and more. Could use another electrical outlet on each side of the bed.

If you want a reasonably priced hotel with clean rooms, courteous staff and excellent amenities, it would be hard to do any better than Best Western. The breakfast is only a bonus that enhances the value.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Florida. The hotel is clean the front desk check in wasn't to knowledgeable, didn't tell us anything just our key room and the floor. The toliet didn't work so we had to change rooms. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was very good. But there is not many places here to eat, truck stop across the road and fast food.

Best western was what I expected and what I paid for. Not a bad experience but way too much chlorine in the pool. The breakfast was average, could have used a few more options and the food could have been hotter.

We were not planning to stay in this area but decided to spend one more night on our way home. Glad we did. The desk people were helpful and courteous and our room was great. Had a good night's sleep and a good breakfast which was helpful on the start of our long drive home. Excellent choice for one night or several!

We stayed at the Best Western in Hubbard, Ohio the other night. The service there is wonderful. The room was perfect and most inviting after a long day's driving across Indiana and Ohio. In the morning, the breakfast was very appetizing. It looked good, it tasted good, and the attendant was very helpful and kind and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come again!

Hotel is conveniently located to Hubbard, Youngstown, Sharon PA and just off of I80. Rooms are good size and clean but the bed covers need replaced.. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. A bit noisy from other guest rooms and guests just outside of the hotel. The internet was a little spotty. Breakfast was good with a decent selection. Price was very reasonable. I would stay here again.

This hotel had a foul odor, the toilet ran every few seconds, and the pillows should be threw out. The hotel is in a safe area with a great pool for kids. The breakfast was okay for a hotel. Its a shame to see how run down this hotel looked from only 2 years ago.

After wedding stay. Everything was nice; breakfast food was delicious. However, the breakfast sausage was a little greasy and the coffee was terrible. Beds were comfy and hotel was quiet. Would go back.

The first room we were assigned smelled like smoke. We requested a second room and were given a much better room. The room was ok but the towels were well worn and need to be replaced. The desk help was helpful.

Wandered in here late one night, after I had wandered around in Ohio looking for a hotel room. Went to Warren and decided I was not getting out of my car in that town. Found this hotel, nice helpful staff! Very clean and a great value!

Location great, right off the highway. No detour. Right off I-80 exit 234. McDonald, Arby, Dunkin, BurgerKing right next door. Room OK, not new. usual brown and grey color. Breakfast OK, waffle machine working, no fresh fruit.

Great Best Western property. Clean and quiet. Very pleasant staff. Hidden away on a side street near a truck stop. Ideal for us as we were traveling through and needed a comfortable, quiet place for the night. Great value.

Trying to find a new hotel in the area, I think I'm in luck!! We list truck parking where I always stayed, the B/W has hood sized lot for trucks. Rooms are nice clean and quiet. Bed is comfortable microwave and fridge in room, plus a real chair to sit in. I found my new regular here. Definitely be back.

Needed a place to stay when visiting the grandkids. This place was perfect it had a pool and full breakfast! It was located right off the freeway and was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The kids had a blast in the pool and breakfast was better than what most hotels give. I would stay here again.

This hotel is great for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and included a microwave and fridge. The hotel had a indoor pool and a hot tub. Both of which are a decent size and a great place for kids to have fun. Your room also includes breakfast, which is above and beyond the normal continental breakfast. It included potatoes, eggs, waffles and other items you would expect. I would definitely stay here again for overnight - no complaints!

For the most part a clean and comfortable property that offers good value. Staff was polite and chatty. Was dis-satified with WiFi as I was unable to log on during evening hours. Breakfast was OK but needs more healthy offerings.

Working out of town is hard but it's nice to have a good hotel to stay at. I enjoyed my stay at this Best Western, the hot breakfast and the pool. Thanks to the great staff at the Hubbard Best Western.

This is a convenient, economical and comfortable hotel on I-80 at the Ohio-Pennsylvania border - well maintained with a caring, professional and friendly staff - an excellent choice for an overnight stop over.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The front desk person even looked up my rewards account to add my stay because I didn't have my number with me. The room was very nice and quiet despite being next to the highway and construction going on nearby.

This is a good hotel on I-80 for an overnight stay. Although it is close to the highway, it is relatively quiet with helpful staff and decent breakfast. The only problem is the musty odor from old carpet. Definitely good for a good night's sleep while on the road on I-80.

This hotel is right off of I80. The staff are excellent, and the fast breakfast makes it convenient to get back on the road. Hubbard is a pleasant little town, with a very good Mexican restaurant in the center of town, and only 10 minutes from the hotel.

We found this to be an older hotel. It was very nice, clean, and the room was fresh. Certainly an excellent stop for the price. Busy hotel, but quiet room. Can't ask for better than that. Everything was in working order. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future.

This Best Western is outstanding. Kelly usually helps us, and she is fantastic. Room is always clean and neat. Bathroom is very clean. As we need a Handicapped Room, the management/staff has always been very accommodating. I do wish that the Handicapped Parking was closer to the room, though, but I understand that is being looked into.

Nice, affordable hotel close to my reunion location. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Very nice breakfast which included waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, along with the other typical breakfast foods. Not really for people who want a "Hilton" experience, but it is good value for the price.

When checking in, the staff was courteous and helpful. Clean room and very quiet. Accessible for traveling with a handicapped person. Would stay here again. A lot of trucks and traffic in the area but it is easy to find the hotel.

I agree with the youngster who wrote: "Best hotel in the galaxy that we live in". They even had courtesy "homemade" style Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at the check-in counter at check-in and in the evening and check-out. What could be more wonderful than that?

This hotel was clean, well kept, and comfortable. However, I have never heard plumbing in any hotel, of any quality, this loud. We were literally kept up all night by the late showers of our upstairs neighbors and the flushing of toilets around us throughout the night. I am a sound sleeper, but the noise was unbearable and impossible to sleep through. Breakfast was nothing special, but not worthy of complaint. This stay set us up for an exhausted day two of our lengthy drive.

We will happily stay at this motel again and look forward to our next stay. Although we felt the price was a little above average, we feel we got our money's worth as well as a comfortable and good nights sleep. Years ago we used to stay at Best Western exclusively on our extensive road trips. We were Gold Crown members with thousands of points which we used often. Thank you for remaining our favorite place to stay.

Very helpful staff. Room had a slightly strange odor to it. Cleanliness was great. Coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. Shower pretty weak but OK. Poole was in great condition. Breakfast choices were very good.

Located off an Exit with multiple restaurants and tired of driving after a long day we decided to stay at this BW. Hotel has it all, professional friendly staff, clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds and the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Had such a good experience this will be our usual stop.

We chose this BW while traveling near the Ohio/Pennsylvania line. We were not disappointed. As a reward member, I can say this was one of the nicer hotels we've used in this chain. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The shower was good with lots of hot water and the WiFi was very reliable. Mary in the breakfast area was delightful and kept the area clean and well stocked with a good variety of breakfast options. We didn't use the pool or exercise area, but did have a need to use the printer in the business center. The staff at check in and check out were friendly and eager to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely return for a stay here if we are ever back in the area.

Stopped here on the way back home from an Easter Trip. Once you find the road that takes you to the property everything went well. Check in was flawless and the room was clean, neat and quiet. Parking was easy and there are a lot of nearby restaurants. The only suggestion or comment is there are limited electric plugs near the beds, but that is minor. Would stay here again if I had the chance.

I had a very nice stay at this Best Western. I come here many times a year to visit family in the PA and Ohio area. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and all the services were excellent.

The hotel itself was nice. Staff were very, very helpful, except at breakfast, when they didn't have enough staff. No problems with the room except the alarm clock didn't work and the temperature of the room was a little hard to regulate. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, had towels for everyone without asking for them. Hotel itself is in a small town with not many choices for shopping or dining near by. My only problem was with the breakfast. The breakfast choices were fine, except they were not replenished in a timely manner if at all. Saturday morning almost everything was either very low or empty completely when we got there at 8:45, breakfast was served from 6:30 - 9:30. We were there for 45 minutes and very little of anything was restocked in that time. We finally went next door to McDonalds to get my grandson something to eat. There were several other guests also looking for something and finding very little. Sunday was a little better when we got there at 8:30, but other guests after had to repeatedly ask for items to be refilled. I have stayed at many, many hotels with breakfast provided and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had! I would have given a much higher rating if it weren't for the terrible breakfast experience.

Staff at front desk made us walk down there to get a few bleach wipes instead of offering us to have someone clean it or at least bring the bleach wipes to us! Manager made aware, no attempt to rectify situation.

At a cost to fit every budget, one receives a very clean and comfortable room. The decor is simple and functional. The wi-fi was faster and more dependable than my home wi-fi. The location of the hotel fits the needs of tired and weary travelers. It is a street away from a very good restaurant and within easy reach of gasoline stations.

Excellent customer service from all the staff reception, house keepers to managers. Room was a nice size, very clean. Coffee maker, microwave & fridge in room. Fresh coffee & cookies are complimentary and available all day and night. Plenty of parking available. Vending machines with good choice of snacks & drinks. Launderette and business centre on the ground floor open 24hrs. Easily a 5 star rating for great service, the hotel is nice and clean, good location & large clean rooms. We continue to stay at this hotel. we did have an issue with our heat one day and spoke with Patrick at the front desk and he and another gentleman immediately took care of the problem and everything was fine after that will continue to stay here when we're in town. Great service!!

We had a very enjoyable stay. This is the only place we stay when in Hubbard, as they go out of the way to make our stay and accommodations well worth the time and price. The front desk service is superb and very friendly. Will be staying there again during Thanksgiving..

I have stayed at the Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn and Suites several times over the past few years. The hotel is always clean and inviting and the hotel staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are always make for a good nights sleep. The location is great for accessing nearby Interstate 80. It is a reliable place to stay. However, the quality of the breakfast part has slipped in quality over the past year. Most items are good, however, on the this last stay the waffle makers were not working properly and the assortment of items seemed to be less than previous stays. The staff is always professional and attentive to any requests for assistance. Check-out is prompt and efficient. If this is the area you need to stay this is a good stop.

We were traveling to see family and have come to this location for many years. For this purpose, the hotel was fine. It's nice to see that it is kept up and neat. The service has always been friendly. The carpeting could have been a lot cleaner, and the lighting in the room was rather dim. Other than that, it served its purpose.

The motel is convenient to the highway and the area I was visiting family. It is clean, reasonably well maintained, the breakfast was very good. The front desk staff is very engaged in greeting and offering assistance.

It isn't easy to find a decent hotel for under $100 per night. This hotel had a clean room, comfortable beds and decent breakfast. The front desk attendant was helpful with food recommendations, too. Located right off the interstate makes it a convenient road trip spot

Another wonderful stay at a Best Western! I was impressed with the interior as soon as I walked in the front door. The room was large and comfortable. Really enjoyed the pool/spa. The staff was friendly. Easy on/off the highway. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The motel is neat and clean. I like the fact that it is located back away from the road and noise but reasonably close to restaurants and shopping. I look forward to staying at this motel whenever I'm in the area.

While the staff here are terrific the condition of this hotel is at best lackluster. Walking into the lobby is like walking back in time a couple of decades. The carpets in the hallways are visibly dirty in the high traffic areas and have a style as equally outdated as the lobby. I've been in 3 different rooms in 3 weeks and all need work. The computer chairs are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in and that is in no way an exaggeration. The corner lounge chairs are so old and worn out that the cushion in the arms is completely gone. I can actually grab the wood frame under the fabric. The one I'm currently sitting in has a busted spring in the bottom so you sink in a mile. I lifted the seat cushion and the amount of crumbs and junk I seen was disturbing. The carpets have a slight tackiness to them, almost like sticky. They are clearly old and not given a proper deep cleaning as often as they should. I try not think about what's on them for my own sanity. As the title suggests, I think the owner of this location is milking it dry and not reinvesting the proper amount of yearly revenue back into it. This may work for now but if my employer wasn't paying for this hotel, I would never come back. The only positives I can give about this hotel are that the staff are 5-star and the beds are very comfortable.

Hubby & I traveling from NJ to visit family in northwest OH and Indiana. Made reservations via phone on way over. Spoke with Mike who was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Arrived late at night (traffic congestion due to summer construction), very tired and sore. Mike took care of us promptly and within just a few minutes, we were set up in our very clean (dare I say "immaculate" - yes!) and spacious room. My husband slept so well in the king-size bed! He hasn't slept that we'll in years! ONLY thing that "needs doing" is a MUCH-bigger sign so the BW PO is easier to find. Hubby & I wholeheartedly recommend the Best Western Penn-Ohio to all travelers!

My fiancee and I have stayed at a Best Western in Victor, NY and we fell in love with the hotel chain! We stayed at the one in Penn-Ohio and loved the decor and loved the in room spa we had in our room! Breakfast was very good, rooms very clean, and beds very comfy. We stayed for two nights and we felt right at home! Staff were very kind. The only bad thing I have to say about this, is the location of the hotel. The intersection trying to get in and out of the hotel is very dangerous. There is no lights to direct traffic and it's a very busy road for there is a truck stop mall across the street. Overall, my experience was wonderful!

This was stop #1 of a 9 day motorcycle trip with friends. Very nice, newer hotel. Comfy king bed. Nice free breakfast. They let us park our motorcycles under the entrance awning, which is always appreciated. Within walking distance to several restaurants for dinner. Very nice stay for the price : )

We needed a convenient location near Interstate 80 for one overnight stay and took advantage of the Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn & Suites in Hubbard, Ohio. The hotel is immediately off I-80 and made it easy to get off and back on. The staff was friendly and welcoming and was very efficient at check-in and check-out. The warm cookies at check-in were a welcome treat. The hotel was clean and neat and well maintained with an indoor pool and spa that was nice to relax in and get refreshed. The breakfast bar included hot cheese omelets with sausage and bacon. Waffles were available as well as cold cereal's, yogurt, toast, bagles and assorted pastries. The breakfast area was well maintained and clean. A great place to stay if in this area.

I had a very comfortable stay at this Best Western. It is right off interstate 80 and pretty close to Youngstown. Check in staff was very helpful. The rooms are very clean and I could have slept in the bed for days. The hot tub had very powerful jets. Some parents had to run their kids out of it so I could use it, but it was very nice. The breakfast offers a few hot items also such as bacon and eggs, also a waffle maker, cereals , muffins and juices

Great little hotel.. Very friendly staff .. Stopped off here on our way to Michigan college visits ..easy on off I 80. Our room was very clean and cozy .. We were on 3 rd floor #300. Beds were comfortable . Pool was very nice ..Fitness area as well. Breakfast area very clean and a nice breakfast . Many restaurants and gas stations nearby .

We had been on the road for 10 hours. When we arrived at the hotel Kelly greeted us with her friendly smile. She checked us in fast, gave us a great recommendation for dinner, and made sure we received our rewards points even though I had made the reservation without our membership number. She had taken the time to look us up in their system!

We made the last leg of a weeks trip with no reservation for the last night. Found the BW on Google and it had a good rating. Called and they had a room and we were able to make a reservation about 1/2 hour before arrival. Gentleman who checked us in was very professional and the whole process took only minutes. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again when in the area.

I was looking for a good night's sleep, a shower and breakfast. That is what I got. The price seemed a bit high considering what I paid at another chain not far away when BW was not an option. But would I come back? Yes.

We are elderly and this Motel met all of our needs. It was an easy to find just off the NY through-way. The staff was very helpful in assisting us getting to our 1st floor room. It was our first stay and we intend to return.The food was just delicious and got us going for our next day. Thanks Staff.

I thought rate was reasonable. Pool and spa were first rate. Room clean and mattress and pillows comfortable. Pretty good breakfast with waffles and biscuits and gravy. No automatic doors to lobby which makes pulling a cart in difficult. Room was quiet.

Great hotel staff, location, comfort of the bedding. Pricing for the area is a little high - Quiet area though. Would like to see more restaurants in immediate area. Only issue was the bathroom sink drained very slowly.

We stayed at different Best Westerns during our trip and this one was the last and best. They have a nice business center and the rooms are very clean. The cleaning staff is to be commended for their hard work. The breakfast was delicious. Excellent experience!

This hotel was great and was located perfectly for me to work from it three nights in a row as opposed to having to pick up and move night after night. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was incredibly comfortable and the price was great.

Not all Best Westerns are equal but this one was very nice. Clean, pleasant staff pool hot tub work out room and right off of route 80. Nice place. We had stayed in a Best Western in Charleston West Va. 1 week before and there is no comparing. This place was great the other a dump - go figure

Very convenient on/off Interstate 80 which I was traveling. Spent one night here to break-up trip and found this to be a very nice clean hotel. Had a adequate exercise room, indoor pool and hot tub. Free breakfast in the morning was also very good with hot and cold items. Never heard traffic noise as there were some truck plazas and several fast food restaurants close by .Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a good place for one who will make a long drive on the I80 and need to get some rest. The room was very good, with a good bed and good shower. The hotel provides a hot breakfast with fruits and yogurt. The staff is also very friendly.

We always stay at Best Western Penn-Ohio in Hubbard when traveling to see our daughter in Indiana. It is mid-way between points and we like to break up the trip. We have always found it to be clean and the rooms/beds are very comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and the breakfast is first rate. A very nice selection eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereals, etc. Way more than I have found at most hotels. We have always found the rates to be very reasonable.

Stopped here on my 1/2 way drive point and Best Westerns are always a good consistent place to relax. In the morning you can start your day with breakfast and not need to run to get a place to eat. Great variety and place to stop on your travels. The one thing to prepare for your stop would be to check out your route details because there is allot of construction activity, making your gps wrong.

The receptionist at the hotel was a very pleasant young lady that made us feel welcomed the minute we walked in. The hotel has a warm feeling to it. It's seems very well maintained and clean.A tribute to the cleaning crew and the management. Could not complain about the breakfast either. Will stay there again when passing through.

We woke up and the car battery was dead. The lady at the front desk used her car to help jump ours. When that did work she helped us find a service company to come to the hotel to help us. Great good of people, very friendly and helpful. And the hotel is clean, comfy and good value.

We took a large group (27 rooms) to stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very accommodating & did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Everything from the original set up of the group, the registration process, the rooms themselves, and the breakfast was ideal. Thank you Patrick & Brittany!

I've used this hotel maybe 10 times over the course of 8 years in my travels from Rhode Island to Michigan and I've never had any problems with them or I would not continue stopping here. Quite,comfortable everything seems to be good.

I stayed here for a couple nights while in a business trip. I was very pleased with the kind, friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. I was though a bit disappointed that my non-smoking room wreaked of smoke. Smoke is tough to clear out of a room and wish people wouldn't be so ignorrant. My room was the last room before the exit. Just step outside people, or quit smoking so we can enjoy what we paid for, a smoke free room!

This was a very nice hotel. The room was very large and comfortable. And the free breakfast saved us $20-30. We pretty much only stay at Best Westerns now on trips. The beds have ALWAYS been comfortable.
