"Great Place to Stay"
13pitt2023, 23 Novembre 2023

This Best Western in Burns, Oregon will suprise you. The western decor and theme throughout the hotel is so quaint and appealing. The rooms are clean and roomy. The breakfast room inviting and the decor is delightful. There were plenty of delicious options, hot and cold. This little gem suprised ne ans surpasses my expectations as the price was to good to be true. This will be my first choice stop when passing through the area again.

"Excellent choice if staying in the Burns area"
Frank_E_Oregon, 13 Novembre 2023

Great service and an excellent stay. From housekeeping to front desk to bed and breakfast - all were outstanding. When most motels look like they're midway through a renovation, the property and service are complete. A very professional operation. Thank you.

"Nice Rooms & Friendly Staff"
Trek60360692463, 13 Novembre 2023

Very clean, comfortable and great staff :) We will for sure stay here every time we're passing through. Location is good as well with options to eat close by, groceries and gas too. Highly recommend to anybody else needing a hotel in this area.

"A very good place with nice staff."
tirakatz, 10 Novembre 2023

Nice and clean room. The beds were comfortable, we had a quiet night. Breakfast was good and the lady who served it was very kind, she prepared my porridge with milk in her kitchen because there is no microwave in the breakfast room. Great service, thank you. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

"Nice Hotel"
ApplePeddler, 07 Novembre 2023

From the minute I checked in until I checked out, the staff was amazing. Kudos to Faylynn at the desk she goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Heath the Manager is very helpful and makes the place very inviting

"Best"
734santiago, 08 Septembre 2023

Checked in at the hotel, went smoothly no fuss. Hotel facilities were well kept, nice job housekeeping and staff!!! During the night, didn't wake up once! Coffee was ready for me at 4:00 am and hot! Breakfast was amazing and fresh! Well done staff!

"great overnight stay during a long drive"
sawbuck12023, 03 Septembre 2023

BW Rory & Ryan Inn is located in the small town of Burns, OR. All this is located in the remote and rugged high eastern desert of Oregon. So, wasn't too sure what to expect. We were quite surprised with the quality and cleanliness and overall, everything about the Inn. We had been traveling through Montana, Wyoming, etc, and spent numerous nights in BW Inns. We rated Rory & Ryan Inn as good as, if not better than, all the Bw Inns we stayed at.

"So-so."
eur0star, 06 Août 2023

Hotel starting to show its age. Just spent two nights here. Wallpaper in bathroom starting to peel. Carpeting in hallways worn. Could use a deep cleaning too. Staff are very professional and helpful. Fast check-in. Rooms have thin walls. Be prepared for some noise from neighbors above and below. Decent eateries a short walk or three minute drive. Good location on the main state highway.

"Great hotel in Hines Oregon"
Marcia W, 26 Juin 2023

This hotel is very clean, staff is extremely friendly and the hot breakfast is more than satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Oregon. The hot tub and indoor pool were a welcome spot after a long car ride.

"Great place"
ChurchMouse2010, 26 Juin 2023

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was clean, spacious room, great breakfast. Enjoyed the hot tub. Grounds are well kept. All staff were friendly and helpful.loved the light in the mini fridge. Room was a bit dark.

"Thank you"
RTW12, 10 Mai 2023

Outstanding. The best we have so far stayed in with very spacious and comfortable room great beds spotlessly clean and great staff. Breakfast was plentiful and good and the bonus was the hot tub and pool. Right at the main Highway so easily accessible but not noisy.

"Probably the nicest hotel in this town, but.."
James W, 07 Mai 2023

Probably the nicest hotel in this town, but that isn't saying much. Upon entering the lobby the first thing I noticed was the old rundown brick floor. The carpets on the verge of looking dingy. The shower is set so high that it sprays you in the face and can't be adjusted. Which means you can't get the soap off the lower part of your body. The breakfast was lukewarm and not the tasty. The bacon looked like it had been sliced with a mandolin; it was so thin.

"Quiet, fun and gelpful"
dwight744, 03 Mai 2023

We arrived at about 10:00 pm after a LONG drive towards home. Front desk was most helpful and found us a room. It was quiet (no highway noise). All amenities you could want in a hotel and a very good breakfast menu and service people. Tables were clean and plentiful at the time we were there. Also, right close to a gas station (Chevron) We would definitely stay there again! thanks Best Western

"Good Place to Stay"
Jeannie B, 29 Décembre 2022

When checking in the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. While we were unloading luggage I fell under the covered entrance on the left side of the building. The sidewalk was not icy. It needs repaired there are two places where it isn't level and I tripped. I went to the front desk to report my fall and Falen (I think) was not at all concerned. I told her I wanted it documented and showed her pictures of the injuries to my arm and knee as well as my shirt. The room we had was clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the TV but Falen? came to the room and fixed the problem. The cost included a full breakfast. The breakfast room and hallways were very clean as well. Christine Edwards was very friendly and professional. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed chatting with her.

"Unfortunate"
bv2000, 28 Décembre 2022

At check-in, front desk staff rude. Room was clean and I like the vinyl flooring vs carpet. The king bed mattress was very old, had no mattress pad and was extremely uncomfortable. When I found that housekeeping missed items and notified front desk I was told I could come pick them up vs someone delivering to correct their error. The bottom line was finding an open 3.5" pocket knife in the couch loveseat. While I now have a new pocket knife, I'm distressed about what would have happened should I have sat on it or had a child find it. When presenting the issue to same front staff I was referred to without even the sense of responsibility or remorse. The Manager comes in at 5 a.m.

"Nice stay"
ada11s, 13 Novembre 2022

We thought this BW was very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and there were enough outlets to charge our devices. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. I made my waffle and took it to the room as it was somewhat crowded in the breakfast area. There were restaurants close by. The only complaint I have is the bathroom fan, which comes on automatically with the light switch, was very noisy. I'd stay here again.

"Lots of good places to eat nearby"
610vicc, 07 Novembre 2022

It's a basic Best Western Plus, probably just meets the Plus requirements. We stay at dozens of places and I've seen some Best Western Plus that dazzled me but this one was fine. The breakfast didn't dazzle me at all so I'll give it a C- The restaurant next door called the Apple Peeler (or similar) was excellent and there are lots of places to eat nearby. No problems other than a room thermostat that didn't work but I was able to work around that problem. I'd stay again and the price was very reasonable.

"Wedding Stay"
julieromas, 17 Octobre 2022

Very satisfied with BW. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice pool/hot tub area. Breakfast was very good. Always had good tasting, fresh coffee available in front lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend 2nd floor room, as we could hear guests above us walking on the tiled floor. Overall, very positive experience.

"Wedding Stay"
Seaside286402, 14 Octobre 2022

The room was clean and convient for and close to our wedding venue. The staff was helpful and was available. They had everything available to pool towels and breakfast. The only thing I would add would be a workout room.

"Family Wedding Weekend"
julieromas, 11 Octobre 2022

Very satisfied with BW. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice pool/hot tub area. Breakfast was very good. Always had good tasting, fresh coffee available in front lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend 2nd floor room, as we could hear guests above us walking on the tiled floor. Overall, very positive experience.

"E. Oregon trip."
Delton W, 04 Octobre 2022

A nice place for an evening stop. Breakfast was better than average. Hall ways need a little up dating. Check in was quick. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that there were no brochures or info about the area.

"Trip to McCall Idaho stayed 1 day going & coming back"
gary879, 25 Septembre 2022

Overall very good experience. We stayed at your Hotel going to Mccall & coming back. There were four of us in two different rooms. We booked ahead & requested downstairs rooms. Which were perfect for us. We had one person each couple who was partially Hadi capped and they had us right by the door, for ease of getting in and out. breakfast & the attendant were great..

"Great place to stay"
Spitz251, 24 Septembre 2022

Room was clean and well cared for, pool and hot tub clean and well cared for, breakfast was good. Liked that you can tell them at check in you don't need room cleaned every day and no problem. The staff was great about getting you towels and coffee/tea as needed.

"Spacious rooms. Great staff!"
Montanarims, 28 Août 2022

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff was great! kept items stocked and greeted us with smile! Good breakfast selection. One of the nicer Best Westerns we have stayed at. Right off highway, but quiet

"Oasis in the desert"
LAUREN B, 02 Août 2022

An oasis in several ways. The pool, of course, was SO nice with outside Temps over 100. Big jacuzzi too. The smiles and friendly staff. Heath and Heather the next morning when we had a set of lost keys and both helped us find the people in their little town to help us. Cleaning staff who helped in the search. Just a really nice place with a delicious hot breakfast and good people. Great comfy beds too!

"Sprinklers and major water spots !!"
bruceh86, 12 Juillet 2022

Sprinklers came on and left white water spots all over my car!! Never will return!! I'm sure this has been going on forever & ruined a lot of paint. Obviously, no one at Best Western was paying attention!!!

"Good place"
Thearmfam, 04 Juillet 2022

Good parking. Clean rooms. Comfortable bedding. Good customer service. We heard that it was busy all of the time, and they handled every one professionally. Good internet. Husband used the pool, and it was nice. Near food and gas. Easy on and off highway. We would stay there again.

"Best Western in Burns OR"
ericherrera, 01 Juillet 2022

Excellent Customer Service, great, clean hotel. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Heath was very helpful when I booked the room. The young man that was in training upon check in did an outstanding job and you could tell that he had really taking his role seriously and had put in extra effort to learn his position. All of the staff did an excellent job..

"Pet free yay!!!"
rdsm77, 30 Juin 2022

Chose this location because it was advertised as pet free. Did not see one dog while I was there. As such, the room was clean and quiet with no incessant barking. Pros: The lady at the front desk was very nice. Room has big bed. Big tv with lots of channels. Fancy soap and shampoos. Pillows were really squishy. Slept well. Cons: Big drawback to the room was no elevator and I was on the second floor. My calves were still sore from climbing steep hills hiking the day before. View from the room was of machinery. The fridge did not have a freezer which meant I could not refreeze the ice packs for my coolers. Shower head is way too high to adjust, but the water pressure was good. Bath towels were small. The restaurant next door was not good. Definitely would stay again as the pros definitely outweighed the cons for me.

"Great Hotel in Burns/Hines Oregon"
BanannaScottsdale, 07 Juin 2022

This hotel was great! Very clean, nicely kept and a wonderful, friendly staff. We had an upstairs room, which was quiet and roomy. Breakfast was good, internet was good and the area had a lot to offer.

"Hines trip"
stuarthunting, 07 Juin 2022

This was the most expensive hotel I stayed at this year. I have stayed at 6 other hotels in different states. This hotel is definitely overpriced. I was expecting a lot more due to the price I had to pay.

"Friendly staff, clean"
maintman4u, 04 Juin 2022

Clean, comfortable and staff was very friendly. A little pricey. Bathroom fan growled like a bear. But all and all I would absolutely stay there again. The breakfast lady Tonia is fantastic!! Whatever they pay her its not enough. Works very hard to help you and her positive attitude is refreshing.

"Dependable Best Western Property"
R S, 29 Mai 2022

This Best Western is a clean, well maintained facility. The staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean and well appointed, and the included breakfast offers a good variety of hot and cold options. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend the property to those travelers seeking accommodations in Hines.

"My favorite place to stay in Hines."
greyh0und13, 23 Mai 2022

This is a clean, comfortable place to stay. The breakfast is a nice perk. The location is perfect for me. It is close to stores and there is a restaurant next door. I have stayed there about 15 to 24 times and will continue to do so.

"Clean & Comfortable"
amywillx, 01 Mai 2022

The check-in process was fast and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool and spa area were nicely maintained, open until midnight. My sister and I swam then used the hot tub. The breakfast area was nicely stocked with hot foods as well as items such as bagels, english muffins, cereal and yogurt. The hot foods were biscuits with sausage gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes. There was also packets of oatmeal available. The room's A/C unit worked well, but it did not seem possible to use the fan function for white noise, if that is a consideration for some. The window did open, however. I had no problems connecting to wifi and logging in, but there were times I felt like I could not reach certain web pages. I was specifically looking at the websites of restaurants in town to see what dining was available. That seems to happen at hotels from time to time, and I never know if this is usage being throttled, or a router needing to be reset, or just an issue with the site that hosts the menu pages, but it seemed to be better over a cell connection. The area was quiet, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows.

"clean and quiet"
annawN4818SY, 25 Avril 2022

rooms were clean and quiet; beds were comfortable; breakfast was quite good; staff was friendly; plenty of parking space; I wish maintenance would pay better attention to details like ripped window curtains,

"NO ELEVATOR"
skypay, 13 Avril 2022

Try to get a room on the opposite side of the motel from the restaurant. Be aware that there is no elevator and if you have mobility issues this is a big deal. It was nice to have a larger refrigerator than you normally find in motels.

"Work trip to Burns"
angelar0bb, 05 Avril 2022

The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Very accommodating. Clean and comfortable facility. Breakfast had a good variety of foods. Located off the main road through town. Would stay there again.

"A Pleasant Surprise "
Nancy L, 17 Février 2022

We stopped on our way through Burns and were pleasantly suprised by the courteous, friendly staff, spacious, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The pool/ spa area was likewise well kept and inviting. A hot breakfast capped the experiencw. We will be back.

"excellent hotel in Burns OR"
Pioneer261377, 08 Février 2022

A very nice hotel, excellent service and great location -- it is close to everything The hotel has a nice pool and spa but no fitness center There is a sidewalk where one is able to run outside Nice view of mountains too

"Great Experience!"
mmunger58, 30 Décembre 2021

Clean, safe and quiet! Room was clean and breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very quiet and had everything you need. We will be returning with friends in the near future.

"Above and Beyond"
mdodge98, 04 Décembre 2021

The front desk was extremely friendly and kind on check in and went way above & beyond after breakfast when my family was talking through a difficult situation by coming over with water, tissues, some chocolate and being so observant and kind. It really made my wife and daughter smile. Thank you Best Western.

"The middle of no where."
greyh0und13, 22 Novembre 2021

This is a wonderful motel. Good rooms, free breakfast and nice pool. The staff is really very helpful. I asked for some special considerations in making my reservations and all were fulfilled. The rooms are clean and well furnished. I did not expect to find such a nice motel in a small town out in the middle of no where.

"Below Par for BW"
BigSkyTripper, 21 Octobre 2021

Bathroom fan was crazy loud and you can't shut it off if the light is on. You could also hear the fans in other rooms. Heater was vibrating and kept waking me up until I turned it off. Bed was so so. Coffee maker broken. Breakfast was very good and the attendant was super helpful and very friendly and up beat.

"Clean and Comfortable."
Ellen G, 17 Octobre 2021

Our first time here but not our last. The pool was warm, the hot tub was hot. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. Great place to stay.

"No elevator but terrific pool, full breakfast"
Jotripper, 06 Octobre 2021

We stayed here on a trip to visit Malheur Wildlife Refuge. It's got a lovely pool and hot tub and breakfast is satisfying. Staff was friendly. Beware if you need an elevator - this Inn doesn't have one, but it does have accessible rooms on the first floor. It's a little aged but clean and nice.

"Not Covid Safe"
Dianna97370, 17 Août 2021

We arrived at this place after a long trip through Utah and Nevada and just couldn't make it the remaining 5 hours to home. We needed to find a place to stay. We thought with the webpage saying how they were exceeding covid protocols that we would feel ok. When we checked in, the woman behind the desk was not wearing a mask, but she was behind plexiglass. I made sure to use the sanitizer on my cards after she touched them. We were tired and it was after 10 pm so we went right up to our roooms to sleep. In the morning we came down for breakfast and employees were not wearing masks (Oregon mandates masks to be worn indoors). We thought we would grab breakfast and be on our way. When we went to the breakfast room, the employees were loudly proclaiming their opposion to vaccination and using profanity. We left - fast. When I arrived home, I emailed and asked for a refund for our horrible, stressful experience. The manager replied via emamil with this " > We feel that everyone has the right to their own opinion in regards to their health. While we require our employees to follow state laws, what they do with their bodies in regards to vaccinations is up to them and clearly has nothing to do with you and your decisions. " Oh, but it clearly does impact my health. I was also told that if I was worried, I should stay home. This manager has no idea why I was traveling and what the reason for that travel was. Definintely don't stay here and be suspicous of any of their properties where they list that they are exceeding cleanliness protocols. They most definitely aren't even doing the basic.

"Beautiful Entry and Lobby with Rustic Charm"
Gail P, 01 Août 2021

Lovely hotel with a beautiful entry door and lobby with rustic farm, fishing motif. Modern, clean and quiet rooms - we heard absolutely no noise from the hall or outside at all. Even the frig was quiet and while the AC cycled on & off it wasn't intrusive. Breakfast room was well appointed with large canvas photos of old trucks on the walls - a charming touch. While there was a hot breakfast of eggs etc. when we arrived at 8:30 it was empty, along with a family getting the last of the waffle batter out of the dispenser. Breakfast ended at 9 am and the hot options were not replenished which was a disappointment as there were enough people there to eat it so it wouldn't go to waste by the 9 am cut off time. Cereal and yogurt and maybe bread for toast were all that was available. The attendant did walk around refilling coffee cups as needed. Check in and out was quick and easy and it looked like brand new mattresses were being installed in all the ground floor rooms as we checked out.

"Wrongly accused"
Z4476NOtracyn, 31 Juillet 2021

My family and I stayed here while traveling. We were accused of peeing in one of the beds. The bed me and my husband slept in. No one in our family pees the bed. We do not have babies. And certainly, me and my husband don't owe the bed. Of course they couldn't prove it. Nor was the lady trying to understand me. I suggest not staying here if you don't wanna be charged more for peeing a bed!!!!!

"Road trip"
mimicheryl77, 24 Juillet 2021

Arrived around 5 45 pm. There was a large group of motorcycle riders ahead of us. The lady at the counter made everyone feel important. She welcomed me as a member, told us about the pool hours, breakfast and the best place to park to get closest to our room. We do wish the hotel had an elevator.

"Very Nice"
Julie C, 18 Juillet 2021

I have stayed in many BW hotels and this is one of the nicer ones. Staff pleasant, rooms clean. I hadn't stayed at this BW for years and not much has changed with decor but it has been maintained well. Being that there are not a lot of choices in the area, you need to book in advance, not the community where you can stop in and expect to get a room.

"Highly recommend"
lvs25mark3, 14 Juillet 2021

Excellent stop over. Hotel very clean in and out. Great breakfast bar that was kept fresh. Hotel, restaurants and gas station all within a few hundred feet of each other. Very convenient with a dirty water dump across the street

"Older hotel but has a restful stay"
Climber03349465606, 05 Juillet 2021

Hotel was older and room decor dated, but we had a pleasant stay. Bed was comfortable. Had a good night sleep (ear plugs). Room fan kept the room cool and was on all night for white noise. I do recommend this hotel for anyone passing through. I would stay here again, if my travels took me through southwest Oregon.

"Great Place to rest and relax"
Paul A, 30 Juin 2021

This hotel was a great place to wind down and rest in comfortable rooms. The pool and spa were inviting and their staff was friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend staying here when passing through town!

"Room AC did not work"
hoodjd62, 26 Juin 2021

Room AC did not work, Staff could not fix the problem, and no available rooms to move to. Staff offered a discount on the room, but none was given the next day at check out. Overall the hotel was decent, but would not stay again due to the poor service.

"Very nice"
lizann2021, 19 Mai 2021

Slept here after a hard working day on the ranch moving equipment. It was so nice to sleep in a warm, comfortable room. Clean means a lot to me. Lots of hot water for a long shower. Nice to have a fridge and microwave too.

"The Bomb Breakfast Crew"
725mustyc, 18 Avril 2021

Tayna and Dawn went above and beyond without a doubt. Super friendly upbeat and gave us info on things to do in Hines. They were quick with our breakfast. Failynn was so helpful with check in and getting what I needed for the room.

"Welcome relief!"
Connie B, 18 Avril 2021

Our travel was in assistance of family moving across several states, and we had thought based on online search that Rory & Ryan Best Western had no availability for the day we planned to arrive there. A reservation was made at a different, nearby property, which on arriving, we did not feel comfortable staying due to notably lax covid protocols. We had stayed at Rory &Ryan Best Western in past travels and called to inquire on same day availability. We were so relieved and pleased that they could accomodate our travel party. All staff was friendly and welcoming; rooms were spotless, tasteful and comfortable; and covid protocols were clearly in place. A good night's rest in a safe, comfortable environment after hundreds of miles on the road was a very welcome relief.

"Excellent property"
xena572000, 16 Avril 2021

The rooms are clean & big. ALL of the employees are very kind & helpful. The hot breakfast features eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh biscuits & sausage gravy. It's excellent! The swimming pool is clean & there's plenty of parking.

"Best option in Burns"
TillyRambler, 15 Avril 2021

Burns is a long ways from anywhere. This motel did a good job of having a clean, well-run establishment. The pool was open and was in use. The bed was comfortable. The motel was quiet. The breakfast in the morning left a bit to be desired, but most motels seem to be struggling with this during these Covid days. The motel is right next to the Apple Peddlar, which is a decent restaurant. I would stay here again.

"Best Breakfast"
pinetreeranch, 08 Avril 2021

Their breakfast was so delicious. It was not a bagged Covid 19 breakfast like other places have. They serve you and give you lots. The rooms were very comfortable. We had 2 rooms for our family. Will stay here again.

"THREE NITE STAY"
Beaverted, 30 Mars 2021

The staff was very professional and made you welcome immediately. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and handled very well with the covid standards. The access to and from the room was very accomodating.

"Maintaining their value when others are failing"
jp1232021, 14 Janvier 2021

Stayed for business, outdoor physical work so the full breakfast is extremely important. Great service! The only problem is that they don't allow pets and I sometimes need my dog for certain parts of my job. And definitely for leisure stays this would not be acceptable.

"Room For (lots of) Improvement"
1BVISailor, 08 Janvier 2021

One of the better accommodations in this small town, (which you would expect from a Best Western), but it could be the best by far with some work. Nice, accommodating GM who got us in our room early and who greeted us daily during our stay. Friendly staff in housekeeping and kitchen. Pretty good hot breakfasts served by caring cooks. Sub par room quality based on maintenance and upkeep. Blurry cable on 10+ year old TV's. Shower head was poor. Bath fan noisy. Carpets dirty. Nice exterior, lobby and pool. Rooms and common areas were worn and overdue for renovations. A place traveling journeymen workers stay frequently. Hot tub is overdue for resurfacing. Shows like a fish pond in pictures. Terrible chemical erosion of surface with piles of sand in corners where diligence in vacuuming maintenance fails. Brought it to the attention of GM and maintenance man (together) to no avail, at least by the time we left three days later. Over chlorined hot tub ruined a brand new Christmas bathing suit of my wife's. Unfortunate. The hotel has good potential. Had it not been for a bad time delivered by one clerk, all the small issues could have been overlooked, as the overall atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable enough for the price. Would have rated it higher if not for one rude night clerk, Faylin. She was a nightmare! Faylin (sp?) demonstrated some of the worst training in customer service I have seen in quite some time. (I've been a customer relations consultant to clients providing value services to high value clients for nearly 30 years.) She ran rough shod over me and my well behaved family for having hydro flask water bottles in the pool area, ramming it home that no beverages of any kind were allowed in the pool area, (or at least thats what the generic pool sign said in the fine print.) This was very strange after my wife and I had been drinking Starbucks every day and chatting with the GM and maintenance man while we soaked daily in the hot tub up til then. Faylin couldn't listen or be concerned that rules may have been variably applied, or that for people who were well mannered, consideration could be (or had been) given. She decided that she will not tolerate what the GM never had an issue with and busted my family, while we conducted a verbal review for an upcoming test in school for one of my teenaged daughters, (we were the only ones in the pool area). Learn to listen instead of interrupting constantly and shouting at your clients! Every time you engage a client your NUMBER ONE GOAL is to leave them feeling happy and well cared for. They should walk away from EVERY interaction appreciating your professional talents, knowledge helpfulness and compassion. Faylin gets an F in all departments. Too much attitude to be allowed to engage clients. Escalated a simple situation unnecessarily, and did it in front of my family. A real bulldog on a chain. Stay in the back office or get more training on how to talk to customers, (and maybe listen a bit too)! Without them and their willingness to return, there is no revenue. With no revenue there is no job, for anyone. Made me want to reach out to the owner to get her help (and never return). Sad since the rest of the visit was pleasant enough overall. Really would have felt good about the stay otherwise. Everything was decent and some things were great, mostly the other staffers, as I mentioned. Spoke to the GM about the issue on exiting, (apparently Faylin had not). He listened and repeated the rule, but also acknowledged he had not issue with us sipping coffee, etc, in the pool area, in the days prior. Apologized and asked we overlook it and consider returning. Nice but I was not sure he understood the depth of the damage she caused in 5 min to ruin a 4 day stay. Cannot be allowed if you intend to succeed.

"Solid Option in the Burns area."
Marc B, 27 Novembre 2020

Clean, convenient and affordable option in the Burns, OR area. There are not a lot of options to choose from. We were both satisfied with our stay! The location was convenient, really next door to Burns. We did takeout fro a Burns restaurant and it was 5 minutes down the road. Room was clean and comfortable. Takeaway breakfast was perfect. Thank you!

"Very nice motel"
Patty W, 05 Novembre 2020

They did a good job with Covid precautions. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was extremely clean. The breakfast was served so you did not touch anything. Would definitely stay here again.

"Clean Room, Hot Egg Breakfast"
Marlynne P, 12 Octobre 2020

This hotel was good for a night. The bedding was very good and the room clean. They had a large breakfast that was served to us and we took it back to the room. Biscuits and gravy, sausages and eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, etc. The only complaint was the fan in the bathroom worked with the light and it sounded like a jet engine!

"Warm hospitality in Burns"
Jim K, 07 Octobre 2020

We didn't arrive until midnight (told them we'd be late) and were surprised to find an alert, friendly and welcoming staff member on duty. The room was a nice suite--clean and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was good, and the pool was large and perfect for swimming. We will definitely use this Inn as our go-to in Burns.

"Lovely friendly and happy"
Lesli S, 06 Octobre 2020

This place is so pretty. The pool is wonderful. the rooms are very nicely decorated. If your going thru Burns this is the place to stay. Easy walking distance to fast food, grocery store, restaurant, and drug store. And my favorite store Big R a great place to browse thru for home and ranch needs. Check out the Pine Room for a great dinner, just down the road a mile or so.

"Refused to cancel reservation due to wildfires and air quality in the state"
peauff, 17 Septembre 2020

We booked a reservation prior to the wild fire situation in Oregon. According to the reservation paperwork, " If you would like to cancel without a charge, you must do so within 24 hours of the date of your arrival". We contacted the Inn on 9/17/20, 12 days prior to our reservation date. The hotel refused to cancel the reservation, and would not confirm what credit card they had on file. Apparently, they were holding the card that had not yet been charged, as within 10 minutes of hanging up with them the card was charged. Both the front desk clerk and on-site manager treated us with disrespect during this process. Can you imagine how they would treat us as guests should we have stayed at the property?

"Great experience"
dkayp2002, 13 Septembre 2020

This BW is one of the cleanest and pleasant hotels I've stayed in. The staff was amazing pleasant, help and made our stay a great one. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a great hotel

"Nice property but staff all wore masks on their chin during the Covid pandemic"
Barbara L, 29 Juillet 2020

In the breakfast room, a food server had to bring you what you wanted, which is great. What didn't make sense is that she wore her mask on her chin, and asked us to get within 2 feet of her while she was maskless talking to us and serving us food. When I asked her to please wear her mask over her nose and mouth, she was very cranky about following food serving protocal during the Covid pandemic. The manager wore his mask on his chin, until I asked him to please put it on. The deskclerk was putting her's on while walking toward me, again within 2-3 feet. Obviously no one at this property had read what the state of Oregon was requiring of staff serving the public.

"Best Western Bend, OR"
hockeydadoftwo, 20 Juillet 2020

The location is convenient and the rooms are quiet. The beds could be better especially for the rack rate being charged. It is clean and the staff are pleasant. Rate is a bit high for what you might expect for Eastern / Central Oregon, especially due to lower traveler numbers. Will stay there again when business takes me back to the area.

"Only Place we stay in Burns"
Frank P, 19 Juillet 2020

We come to or through Burns a couple of times a year. We like this hotel because the rooms are comfortable and clean. Front desk ladies are always nice and welcome you. The parking set up is good and seems safe as we have never had a problem.

"Fine, I Guess"
ralverde, 18 Juillet 2020

It's not that it isn't very clean, it's just dingy, I guess. I would stay here again, for sure, but I had an uneasy feeling the whole time. The most important things to be clean seemed to be, but the couch and TV were covered in dust and whatever else. The internet was fine at 12/12 and didn't have any issues. The shower head was awful - choice of knives or spraying in a circle at a practically 90° angle away from you. They are taking care of the hotel - new carpet, for example - but it could use a bit more. The bed was fine. The hotel is loud - not much insulation. I get that everyone is having a hard time with how to handle moving on in the time of coronavirus, but don't put out a buffet in the normal place without someone constantly at it if you aren't going to allow people to serve themselves.

"Clean, Comfortable & Safe"
Stickfam1, 13 Juillet 2020

Very nice Best Western . We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were pleasant and professional. Their virus procedure were very good and they adhered to them. Nice, would have loved to partaken of the pool/hot tub.

"Great employees with mediocre overpriced facilities"
brundagematt, 22 Mars 2020

Had to switch rooms due to many lights, fridge, microwave not working. New room still had many pugs and lights not working. Hot breakfast I paid for did not happen due to Corona . I got a dry cereal bar

"Great hotel and stay"
M Diane K, 05 Mars 2020

We travel through Burns quite often and enjoy staying at the Rory and Ryan Inn. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good and the reception is always welcoming. It's on the main road through town and has an adjoining restaurant close by.

"weekend trip"
markhY7202EV, 24 Février 2020

not easy check in. bathroom was dirty. tv remote did not work. ran out of coffee at breakfast. close to gas station and food. easy to find. thats all I have to say! why does it have to be 200 characters minimum!

"Great Hotel"
rachel8172020, 18 Février 2020

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is high quality and had many options. Everything is clean and nice. Parking is easy and the location is convenient if you will be going through the area.

"Nice and comfortable!"
Donna V, 15 Février 2020

Prices, room and staff were great! Have a nice pool and spa, and love the breakfast to get you on the road. We opted for a deluxe king and I would have thought it would be have two TV's and a better sitting room but all in all it was a good stay!

"Good Place!"
lidyardrs, 05 Février 2020

It was clean, the service was quick, gracious and friendly. Surprised to have such a large place in the middle of nowhere. We had a great nights sleep! Brakfast was good. One tip would be to have Diet Coke in the machines not just pepsi!

"Traveling For business"
ElCicscoMex, 02 Février 2020

My stay at the hotel was for business purposes. I expected a simple room with no frills, since it was booked by my company. I was pleasantly surprised by the room size and how much at home i felt. the breakfast bar was plenty adequate to start the morning... very highly recomend

"Nice and quiet"
cmonroy52, 12 Janvier 2020

Hotel was clean, front desk was helpful and knew who we were upon arrival. Had all our keys ready to go, rooms were great and clean, good location for the hotel not noisy during the night. Best of all the pool is open 24hours!!

"Best choice of stay in Hines/Burns"
setotravel, 11 Janvier 2020

History: Originally built and opened in 1997. Renovated in 2015. Location: Commercialized area in Hines along US highways 20 and 395. Only 1 1/2 miles from Burns. Sparsely populated Hines/Burns area surrounded by high desert settings. Interior Décor: Mid range décor. Western frontier themed lobby area. Exterior Appearance: 2 story mid size motor hotel. Outside view from the room I stayed at (201): Parking lot, Apple Peddler restaurant, mobile homes. Average. Room Description: Studio suite with king bed, desk, couch. Room Size: Approximately 50 square meters. Spacious. Room Cleanness: Clean. Well maintained. Bathroom: La Coupe brand amenities. Average size. Noise Insulation: Very quiet. Light traffic on US highways 20 and 395. Price and Value: Good price setting in off season. Breakfast: Complimentary buffet Bed: Firm softness. Slept fine. Services: Professionally trained friendly hotel staffs. Self Laundry: $0.75 wash and $0.75 dry. (Yes, still under a dollar in year 2019) Further personal note with nostalgic reflections: Last time I traveled through Hines/Burns, Oregon was in August 1982. As a teenager, I was riding Trailways Bus (not Greyhound Bus) from Salt Lake City to Portland. Burns was where the bus stopped for 30 minutes for meal break. There was a little café (of which I don't remember the name now in December 2019) that featured 45 rpm vinyl records jukebox. I dropped a dime (yes, only 10 cents) to play #1 song on Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart at that time, "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky III movie, by Survivor. Well, there I was in Hines/Burns, Oregon again in December 2019. This time, I drove by myself for hundreds of miles to get here and decided to stay overnight at a hotel. Downtown Burns somewhat looked like reminiscent from 37 years and 4 months ago. Best Western Rory & Ryan Inns in Hines provided timeless friendly greetings and modern amenities such as complimentary wifi. Thanks, you made my stay special to fill in 37 years 4 months of time.

"very nice hotel, comfortable place, clean A+"
Benjamin R, 29 Décembre 2019

We had to visit this area for a funeral, so I chose it based on reviews, and location. It is a lovely property, well maintained, and staffed. The breakfast person was especially pleasant, visited with us and shared local information--very helpful. Plus, the breakfast was well prepared and more than adequate. Even though the hotel was full, I felt like our stay was quiet, peaceful, and had no sense of it being full. Front desk was great to allow us to stay a little late so we could have a place to rest before the funeral. This is a great place for a good night's rest

"Best place in Burns/Hines!!"
Dan H, 22 Novembre 2019

The only place to stay when you are in the area. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good. It is a very popular hotel because it is simply the best location by far in the area. Keith and his staff are truly amazing.

"Crappy stay for 5 star price"
Resort47506270285, 15 Novembre 2019

Paid 525 for a 3 day stay and was charged a 250 smoking fee when no one smoked in the room. There was also black mold in the restroom ceiling and we asked the housekeeper to clean our room she knocked all our stuff behind the dressers and didn't even change the sheets on urr beds. Also we left the room immaculate to avoid any charges or loss of deposit and was still charged almost $800

"Comfortable Stay"
dandd_db, 07 Novembre 2019

Comfortable and clean place, helpful and friendly team, everylthing we needed, even a nice pool. Easy location. We came to do some sightseeing of the Steen Mountains and surrounding area. We highly recommend Best Western Rory & Ryan Inns.

"Great hotel for volleyball trip"
BackPacker603167, 05 Novembre 2019

We were traveling from Amity to Burns for a volleyball game. When we got to the hotel after a pretty long drive, the fellow at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. The pillows were very comfortable! We did not use the pool or hot tub, but they looked well kept. They are even open 24 hours, which is pretty nice. The breakfast that is included was very good. Eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles and all of the other normal stuff you would see at a hotel breakfast. The lady running the breakfast was very nice and kept it stocked up. If we ever need to come back to Burns, I would definitely stay here again.

"Average Stay"
bsranch, 24 Octobre 2019

Stayed one night here for a wedding we attended. It wasn't quite up to Best Western standards in my opinion. It was ok, but the service was a bit lacking and the beds were not very comfortable. When we arrived the receptionist was helping another employee doing something in the lobby and told us she would be with us shortly. After a bit of a wait she came over to check us in. She was not the best at good customer service and assertively argued with us over a question. One of the key cards would never work and it was quite noisy until about 3 am from a party going on near by. The breakfast was typical continental but lack in flavor.

"Faylinn saves the day!"
886vickia, 19 Octobre 2019

Always stay here when we're in the area! Greeted immediately with a smile by Faylinn. She was very accommodating and friendly, as are all the people there! Clean, attractive lobby. Rooms provided all you would need and expect. As we settled in to watch our grandson's football game that being live streamed, I was having trouble connecting. In desperation, I ran down to the desk. Faylinn was grabbing a quick meal, but dropped everything to help. In no time I was watching the home team victory! Faylinn saved the day! Kudos and a raise for Faylinn!

"First visit"
Avmig, 14 Octobre 2019

This was our first time staying at this hotel. We chose this place because it was a Best Western facility but after staying here whether it was BW or not we would stay again. It was clean, room was pretty large, bed and pillows were great. Our room was near the stairwell so a little noisy when othe guests were getting to their rooms in the evening. The hot breakfast buffet was well stocked, plenty of tables and they even had blueberry waffles.

"Adequate Place for a Night's Stay"
Marietta P, 14 Octobre 2019

Cleanliness: all seemed clean Bed quality: average Reception friendliness/treats: average Furnishing quality: typical - all in good order Internet: fast Charging: Poor - only wall outlets. Need charging station at desk/bedside Elevator: No Noise level: Quiet Breakfast: Average

"Clean Pet Rooms"
cassandragertrude63, 06 Octobre 2019

The staff were helpful and courteous. We travel with dogs. It was very pleasant to stay in a clean pet room. They have flooring instead of carpeting, so I did not worry about anything being passed onto my dogs or humans.

"Great Place, great staff !"
Lynn G, 23 Septembre 2019

This is our third time staying at this hotel, we have been very happy every time. The hotel is dog-friendly, the staff is wonderful, and the Apple Peddler next door provides a nice meal (with a hotel discount).

"Too pricey for what you get"
heinrich618, 08 Septembre 2019

Rather a "regular" Best western hotel -a thing that just not justify night cost. All amenities typical of BW hotels nothing exception. Breakfast minimal but sufficient. Good location though near the Apple paddler local very good restaurant.

"Desert adventure"
wildflower632, 08 Septembre 2019

We stayed here to recover after a big camping adventure in the desert. It's really a beautiful hotel, with a great rustic feel. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and the breakfast in the morning was just what we needed after a few days of camping food.

"Quick Overnight Stay"
floraross, 03 Septembre 2019

This hotel is conveniently located along the highway. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with eggs, sausages, waffles, fresh fruit, cereals and assorted fresh pastries. This hotel does not have an elevator so it was not convenient carrying heavy luggage to our room on the second floor.

"Cross country trip"
HAROLD P, 25 Août 2019

When I can find a Best Western, I will always try to stay there. This trip was no different, and I was quite happy to find this one when looking for lodging for the night. The facility is located just of the highway, and close to food, fuel and other convenient stores.

"Happy in Haines"
L0ri101, 18 Août 2019

Easy to find. Friendly competent staff, The beds are wonderful. Very quiet, with no outside noise. The pool & hot tub area is very nice. The towels could've been softer, but no big deal there. The restaurant next door(Apple Peddler) is a very nice place.

"Would have got a 5 star , but , no internet!"
Rust-E-Junque, 11 Août 2019

Bed was comfy , quiet room , AC had an "On" setting , breakfast was mostly ready on-time - Gal doing the breakfast was also doing front desk duty , so gave then a lille leeway there! But , second time in a row at a Best Western , no internet , said free WIFI , you could connect to their WIFI fine , but no internet available .. You could just barely get a signal from the next door Apple Peddler WIFI , but it wasn't fast enough to do anything - From previous experience , the "Connected , no Internet" is from the server being off or out of order ... Good room except for that.

"Didn't check an ID when checked in and let some one use my credit card."
karenk821, 29 Juillet 2019

I called the hotel to notify them that I was charged for a stay the day before and they could care less , even acted like I was the problem. The male desk employee had a rude irritated tone and unapologetic. My credit card was turned off and now I have no credit card for a week - waiting for a replacement. Very inconvenient.

"Nice, aged, noise hotel."
flyfinucane, 16 Juillet 2019

Property is nice, aged but refurbished hotel. If your on 1st floor, the room on top of you might as well be in your room. Staff is great but doesn't help with upstair excessive noise... Children are children, rooms are not all day/night playgrounds. Staff needs to watch where they put children. Staff needs to address noisy children in a timely manner. This hotel does not! They will probably post they do but they did not... This is a 1 night, drive through property, not much good choice in town...

"Less than expected"
Richard M, 13 Juillet 2019

I expect better than good from Best Western lodging. Not this time. The side door was broken so could not be locked. Of course this was near our room. Breakfast was in a room too small and very loud. We waited for food which came after I left...my wife impatiently waited and waited. The room was nice but the wall AC ran all night.

"Clean"
Inspire65565743022, 06 Juillet 2019

This hotel was so nice & clean and not in a smelly try & cover up stink way. The bed was comfy and slept like a rock. There was no street noise & never heard another person. If ever heading that way again will stay here ever time.

"Nice stop in middle of nowhere"
julzandmckay, 04 Juillet 2019

I think the only reason anyone would stay here is because they are passing through a long stretch without very many options - but this is a great option! A little dated but clean and predictable. Wonderful breakfast and nice staff. My kids were sad we weren't able to swim because the pool looked fabulous. I'd say next time, but I don't know when I would pass through this way again - but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here!

"Best Lodging in Area"
ArtistJames, 02 Juillet 2019

We've stayed in several places in the Burns/Hines area, and think this is the best. No, it's nothing elaborate or fancy, but remember you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere here, and you'll be grateful to find such a solid Best Western stay like this to rest your head. (Take note that there is another "Rory and Ryan Inn" very close by--same owners, different hotel. And that other R & R isn't a Best Western. Rather confusing, yes.) ROOMS: Clean, spacious, updated. Bed was fine. Good water pressure, good sized fridge, great wi-fi. No complaints. Our room was very quiet and we heard no outdoor noise at all, despite being closest to the highway. BREAKFAST: The usual stuff plus scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausages. POOL: Very nice-looking indoor pool and hot tub. Would be helpful if they had a small exercise room. STAFF: Nice and polite. Sometimes they have free delicious cookies sitting out in the lobby, sometimes not. There is no elevator but about half of the rooms sit on the ground floor, so you shouldn't have a problem if you happen to have issues with stairs--just make sure to request the lower level. HINT: Try to fit in a meal at Rhojo's in Burns. Fresh and innovative food you might not expect to find here.

"Very pleased with our stay"
Sightsee24773219993, 21 Juin 2019

Good location as a stop-over point. Pet rooms have laminate flooring as opposed to carpet. This is extremely important if you have a pet whose nature it is to "mark" over every other spot that a previous dog has been.

"Dirty & Outdated Rooms/Charged for extra nights"
MTaylorHSPS, 19 Juin 2019

This is hands down the worst experience I have had with a so called Hotel. Honestly I expect more from a Best Western and after this experience I will likely never stay in a Best Western again. Not only was the room dirty and the tub covered in mud and hair. The hotel charged me for extra nights and now twenty days later I still have not gotten my promised credit back on my account. I have called the hotel several times and either I get lied to outright or they give me a song and dance about how things take time. Well it doesn't take this long.

"Great place to stay."
WandahF, 13 Juin 2019

We have stayed here twice on our way to Idaho. We. Are always happy to see it. Large rooms, no carpet and we really like that feature. Rooms are clean and comfy beds. Our stay was quiet and the pool was open 24/7. The breakfast was really great. Lots of choices. Great coffee. Friendly staff and took us about 5 minutes to get checked in. Loved that. Will stay here again when we travel through

"Excellent stay"
Passenger62161132340, 15 Mai 2019

I stayed at the Best Western in Burns/Hines Oregon. Excellent staff, very clean rooms, quiet, good breakfast. I have nothing but great things to say about my stay. I had a bit of noise from the pool pump below my room and the staff moved me the next day. Perfect after that.

"Welcoming and Gracious"
JohnFabian, 08 Mai 2019

We stayed here on our way south and coming back north. Left my iPad in the room the first night. They called and kept it safe until I returned a week later. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Comfortable and large room. Good grass for the dog. Highly recommended. Happy trails...

"A Great Place to Stay - Highly Recommended"
344cf, 08 Mai 2019

We stayed at the BW Rory & Ryans Inn the night before and the night after a week long river tip and it was a great experience. Our rooms were clean, quiet, modern, and nicely equipped. The FREE full breakfast and self-service washer and drier were an added bonus. We at at the Apple Peddler next door and were happy to learn that by showing our room key we were entitled to a discount. As we arrived in Hines we made the mistake of stopping at the Rory & Ryans Inn (not a BW) located just west - the two properties appear to be identical except our reservation was at the BW. I highly recommend the Best Western Rory & Ryans Inn in Hines (Burns), Oregon.

"Good BW experience"
Ian M, 07 Mai 2019

May 5/19 - just spent one night here en route to Boise. No complaints, good solid hotel, clean, comfortable, quiet room, friendly staff, good WiFi, easy parking, close to highway and restaurants, quite good breakfast from typical BW buffet. Can recommend.

"One night, last night"
303catherinew, 05 Mai 2019

A typical BE design, not a 5 star. We had our dog so of course you get a downstairs room. Sorry to say it had a dog smell when we turned on the air. No carpet so it must mean the filter needs changing. Breakfast was the usual BW food but the eggs were cold. The lady that checked us in was wonderful and helpful. The pool area was clean. Rooms were updated but cheaply done. By looking around town I say this is the best bet.

"Fire the manager"
jerkjunkie, 05 Mai 2019

We have stayed at this location at least twice a month for months. It is not outstanding but it is clean and quiet. There is a nice restaurant next door which is handy. When I looked at the price 2 days before our room was $104, and it was all week. The next day I called and booked for the following night (Tuesday)Our bill showed $151. I asked the manager about this and his attitude was basically sorry for you bad luck. He said it was based on occupancy and the computer changed the price. He said there was nothing he could do, no points, no gift bag with water, nothing. Why bother being a loyal customer to the brand AND this location if this is the attitude. He said I need to book earlier. I said or a different hotel, he gave no response. We will NEVER stay there again, which is too bad because the rest of the staff is friendly.

"jskf"
Sightseer32195755144, 28 Avril 2019

Room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was not anything special, but what youu expect at any BW free breakfast. Bed was a little to soft, but was otherwise good. This stay was the mid-point of this trip and was the perfect location to rest nand recharge before traveling on the next morning.

"Cold and Tired in Central Oregon"
Roger H, 02 Janvier 2019

Traveling across Central Oregon to Corvallis. Traveling on snowy roads all day so we were tired and looking for a place to stay the night. Found this place on the way out of town. The stay was nice. Restful sleep and next door to restaurant.

"Nice stay and no highway noise"
Sued1955, 11 Novembre 2018

I'm sure this is the nicest hotel in the Burns/Hines area. We stayed in at this hotel for one night while in town for a family function. We arrived early afternoon on Saturday and unlike many places we have stayed, making us wait until 3 or 4 pm, they welcomed us to check in. Very welcoming. Fresh coffee was available after our drive and it was appreciated. Also hot cider, which my husband appreciated. The room was large and spotless. It must have new carpet as there was not a spot to be found...and we are very sensitive to dirty carpets. The breakfast with sausages, eggs, potatoes as well as biscuits and gravy was very adequate and perfect for our drive home. Nice fridge in the room, a microwave, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, great desk...not two matches chairs though. NICE soaps, too. Not crummy drying kinds. We normally play cards while killing time, and it was kind of uncomfortable without the matching table chairs. Comfortable bed. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for extra coffee for our breakfast so we didn't have to walk back down to the breakfast area. We will stay here again! OH, and they take dogs, too! We didn't have the "boys" with us this trip since they would have been left in the car during the event, but nice to know. Nice dog walk area in the back. too. A restaurant next door and I saw someone walking back to their room with takeout.

"Great Place to Stay"
Paradise09063568556, 10 Novembre 2018

I stayed here several years ago, and I am impressed with all the changes since my last stay!!! The rooms were clean, staff was great, decor looked nice, and the breakfast was fantastic. I am very impressed with my stay and will be staying here again my next time through town!

"Best hotel in town"
marvferg, 07 Novembre 2018

Great place to stay, good location and friendly staff. Easy access from the highway and quiet room. Close to restaurants and gas stations. The western logging decor was interesting. We would happily recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

"One night stay"
YasminEdwards, 10 Octobre 2018

This hotel is very popular even after the Columbus Day holiday. Best Western as always have comfortable rooms, great WiFi and a staff at the breakfast bar who is always cheerful and accommodating. Great stay for a woman traveling alone. Glad to reach OR as the diesel prices in CA are scary. Had to stay at a pet room and it is clean.

"Wxcellent place to stay"
pjmwatts, 05 Octobre 2018

We always stay here when we travel this direction. The rooms are exceptionally clean and beds are very comfortable. They are dog friendly which makes us feel welcome. Breakfast is included and is great. Highly recommend

"Very Nice"
Allison M, 02 Octobre 2018

We stayed here while on a family vacation and it was really nice. The rooms were very comfortable and pricing is reasonable. The breakfast was your standard breakfast, but still good. Overall a good value for the room!

"Old dingy hotel in desperate need of an upgrade."
sasporilla, 29 Septembre 2018

I chose this hotel because of the good ratings. What I liked was the friendliness of the staff and the good service. But I would never stay here again due to the dinginess of the hotel itself. It is very old and outdated. The carpets are worn. The blankets are tattered. It is just downright gross. In addition, there is no elevator! Imagine getting all of your luggage to your room if you're not on the 1st floor! Hines is a small town with only this one hotel and very few stores and restaurants. Next time I take a trip like this, I will keep driving a couple hours and stay in Bend where there is more to do and better hotel options. I recommend everyone do the same. You'll be glad you did.

"Clean hotel with great pool 24/7"
Melodie N, 29 Septembre 2018

My colleague and I stay here Sunday-Friday for a work trip. The hotel was very clean and the best perk was the pool open 24/7. We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff was great. The only recommendation I was have is more outlets in the rooms or lamps/dock stations that have additional outlets. I couldn't charge my phone and laptop without having to unplug lamps and clocks. But again, the pool washes away any desire to charge electronics ??

"One of the better hotels in town"
SummerGirl2015, 21 Septembre 2018

The lobby and breakfast areas have been remodeled and look nice. The rooms were adequate. Notably, there is no fitness room at this establishment. The breakfast was mediocre. There also was no outdoor sitting area.

"Lovely Stay in a Small Town"
Renae M, 20 Septembre 2018

For such a small town in the middle of No Where, this was a beautiful place. Unfortunately we were there for a funeral but we were able to lighten our moods with a enjoyable swim in the pool and a nice soak in the hot tub. We came form Illinois and drove 24 hours straight to get there, so having such a gorgeous pool area was very refreshing and exactly what we needed. Our room had a king bed and was quite large. Everything was comfy and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

"Good stay"
martinogden2018, 17 Septembre 2018

Great staff, very help full and friendly front desk at both check in and check outClean rooms with all amenities in good working order.Very clean Pool and hot tub area Lots of parking and Check in clerk made sure our rooms where in a good location for our motorcycle parking.

"A decent place when there's not much to choose from"
gwylliam, 14 Septembre 2018

I have been through Burns and Hines a dozen times in my life with most being in the past 3 years for work. This visit was for the opening of a new facility. I love the area, the remoteness and at times stark landscapes never cease to amaze me. I booked through a corporate travel agency and was a little skeptical of what awaited. I have stayed at other BW properties in the past year with mixed feelings. This turned out to be a good experience. The property is well maintained. My room had a couple of insignificant oddities. Billed as an executive king it was indeed that, but the separator wall between the bed and the sectional couch was not really necessary. They have the bed close to the outside wall and window where the PTAC unit is located and blows on the bed. Personally I think the sitting area would have been better where the bed is and the bed where the sitting area is. Property is well maintained and the front desk staff was efficient and nice. The room was in good shape and boasted some nice touches like a stone counter top in the bathroom. There is a deeper than normal bathtub, a bit short though, with a nice tile floor. The pool is open 24 hrs for adults. The halls are brightly lit with LED fixtures and there was no sign of door tampering. There was a nice sized refrigerator and microwave in the room. I laundry room was spotted on the first floor next to the ice machine and vending equipment which was in good upkeep. Lobby was nice and comfortable. I guess there are waffles on the weekends available to guests. My co-workers all agreed it surpassed expectation and I would consider staying here again when the need arises. A little less industrial air freshener would have been nice.

"vacation"
foofah52, 07 Septembre 2018

This hotel has been one of our favorites when we are out riding our Harley-Davidson. They have a wonderful pool and spa. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable. Always have coffee on and usually a good cookie to snack on when you get there. If your hungry, there is a little restaurant right next door or go down the street to many more. We will be back!!!

"For Burns, Oregon, good quality choice."
Mary M, 03 Septembre 2018

Fast convenient check-in and check-out. Very reasonable rate. 24-hour service use always a plus. No workout room but Pool and Spa were very clean and inviting. For Burns, Oregon, this would continue to be my go-to motel for any trips in that direction. This Motel is located about a mile from the Farmers Market but you have to drive 2 miles or so to get into downtown Burns if you want to look at some local art and eat at The Bistro.

"Burns Accomodation"
ETicketRide, 25 Août 2018

Much of this BW was reserved for a wedding we were attending. Large groups can overwhelm staff, but this place was well prepared and the pleasant staff took good care of us. This is a 2 story, no elevator. We had room 103 for 3 nights, directly across hall from housekeeping, steps from pool, laundry, vending, and the apartment with exterior entry that the wedding hosts used as gathering space to welcome us all. The breakfast was good, offering coffee service, eggs, sausage, gravy, assortment of breads, cereals, waffle maker, ending at 9 am. Room 103 is nonsmoking, ADA, king, with a chair/footstool, microwave, fridge. The tub is raised (careful getting out), has several grab bars, and has a hand held shower head which is placed too low to stand under. The toilet is also raised. The indoor pool & spa area has comfy lounge furniture, but note no food or drink allowed. Beware of the very large sinkhole in the parking lot between the motel & restaurant next door! The Chevron is across the street, McDonalds, DQ, Subway, Safeway/Starbucks, Glory Days Pizza all very close.

"great price, great hotel"
348rdavidson, 22 Août 2018

Always super friendly staff. I have never had a problem in this hotel. They are always happy to see me and go out of their way to help when I need it. Breakfast is hot, good choice and everything is so clean! they just redid the lobby and outside of the hotel and it looks amazing!

"Unexpected Gem!"
Duane - Glenda Z, 18 Août 2018

Pros: This property is very nice and very refreshing after our stay in Reno, NV. We were upgraded to a Jacuzzi Suite on the ground floor. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Cons: We could not connect to the internet. We found out that the Jacuzzi leaked and it had not been reported to management, which we did. They were very appreciative.

"good place to stay"
owner64, 13 Août 2018

We travel yearly from Oregon to McCall idaho, and always stay here. It has large clean rooms, and great for traveling with a pet. Pool is nice, and staff is friendly and helpful. This last July, when we stayed, we made the mistake of eating at the restaurant, the Apple Peddler. I would avoid this place, and drive into town, and pick anything else. We will continue to stay here as we travel in the future.

"Great place to stay."
lrscrs, 12 Août 2018

Nice clean motel halfway between Bend and Ontario Oregon. 24/7 Chevron gas station with diesel across the street. Apple Peddler restaurant next door. Large swimming pool. Large parking lot for trucks and trailers. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

"Good Stay"
skikingCalifornia, 10 Août 2018

We had a king room with a sitting area. The room was large, very clean, and smelled fresh when we arrived. Both check in and check out was fast and efficient and the front desk gals were very nice. Liked the large counter in the bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable and was high quality. The breakfast selection was great, with hot and cold items. Only complaint was that the fan in the bathroom was to load and didn't have a separate off switch from the light. All the room furnishings were fine.

"Overpriced, poor quality mattresses and breakfast"
m00nya, 07 Août 2018

Both queen mattresses were horribly squishy and dipped deep in their middles, so we each took a bed and tried our best to sleep on the edges. AC unit fan was noisy. NOT a good night's sleep for either of us. Floor lamp light bulb was burnt out, so didn't work. TV picture was grainy and bad, so much for the flat screen TV watching being enjoyable. Very poor quality hot buffet breakfast...almost nothing to eat if you care about your diet or are restricted. Luckily we do eat meat and eggs, but the sausages were greasy and the scrambled eggs very much low end buffet grainy and tasteless. All yogurt, milk alternatives, and oatmeal choices loaded with sugar. The outside of the property did look nicely redone, and our room had new carpet and decor. But the things that matter weren't up to par, especially not at the price.

"A welcome sight"
Lawrence5279, 23 Juillet 2018

After driving 130 miles from Bend, OR, through desolate landscape this hotel and the town of Hines were a welcome sight. The rooms are accessed from an interior corridor. Staff were polite and professional. Our room was very nice with microwave and refrigerator. There is a pool but no fitness center. The breakfast was excellent but the breakfast room was a little small. I appreciated that they had MSNBC news on the TV in the breakfast room rather than the annoying morning programs many hotels have on during breakfast.

"an Oasis on the road from Vegas to the Oregon Coast"
Elaine M, 17 Juillet 2018

Jordan was super capable and friendly checking us in - she was every thing a front desk person should be. Beds were like new. The only issue I had was the lights are super dim - like 40 watt dim - so really no idea at night how clean the rooms are but the bathroom was super clean so we will come and stay again.

"Average."
sassijordan, 19 Juin 2018

This is an out of the way BW. There were other hotels in this area but i thought this would be the best.It was OK, the front desk was not very personable upon arrival. The rooms here and at other BWs smell stale. The breakfast is ordinary, bagels and breads not too tasty.

"UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!! DO NOT STAY!!!!"
mpmoore2, 11 Juin 2018

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The outside of the motel is under construction from 8a - 5p (or later?). From 3p - 5p carpenters pounding nails directly outside my room! My intent was to sleep in in the morning and get a late start - that's not going to happen because the lift they use to work on was left outside my window - where they will start in the morning!!!!. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, was said about renovation work when I booked the room through the motels front desk. No discounted rates where offered, it APPEARS to me to be about money in the managements pocket and damn the guests. Otherwise you would renovate in sections and leave the rooms in the vicinity of the construction unoccupied. Unbelievable!!!!!

"Expected more from the name / price"
pmjc, 10 Juin 2018

Best Western has always seemed to promise, and deliver, and above average experience, and for this they command an above average price. Not the case here. They are under construction - a major face lift, and though the sign on the door apologized for it, I felt it should have been reflected in the price. Amount the problems (besides the unsightly appearance): the side door (north side) had no lock, the TV remote had no "guide" feature, the ice maker only made thin "shells" - no full cubes. The staff in the afternoon was welcoming, those at night were less helpful. Breakfast was "ok" though the coffee pots were not kept full.

"great stop-over"
Bonita V, 10 Juin 2018

Hines is a helpful midway stop on many routes. This place is a cut above, with the nearby diner for dinner and on-site breakfast. The room and pool were clean and quiet. Outside entry on east side of the property was under construction and not a problem.

"Love this Best Western "
montanavicki, 09 Juin 2018

Drove all day. Have stayed here before. Cheerful greeting.Welcoming lobby. Good beds, everything very clean. Pretty p9ol, but no fitness room. Breakfast was lovely and Vickie was very accommodating and friendly! Worked very hard!

"Work in progress"
Mavis J, 01 Juin 2018

This hotel is in a small town in Oregon, and I was not expecting much. The rooms were large, and cleanish. The rooms were not dirty per say but smelled stale, however the sheets appeared clean. The hotel is in a middle of a remodel and debris is pretty much everywhere. When we went to breakfast the eggs and meat were cold (supposed to be hot, but they did not know why the warming tray was not working), with a sign pointing to the microwave. The juice was dispensing warm with a sign pointing to ice, so be careful what you choose to eat. The price was cheap for this location and overall was a good value. It was an average stay and I cannot rank over 3, but would stay here again if I was in the area.

"Did nit Get accessible room"
angelsrmypassion11, 27 Mai 2018

No elevator! Did NOT get handicap room OR type of room requested. Under construction. Given spa tub room and spa took up half of room, As disabled guests we didn't need that and couldn't even get in or out of it and it limited movement in room. Also toilet was too low and difficult room and no roll in shower.

"Need to finish remodel"
Laura H, 13 Mai 2018

The fumes from the remodel were strong. Pet rooms were okay, but shower was terrible, two feet over my head and spray head clogged causing uneven flow. The area was good for pets and the rooms roomy enough for two large crates.

"Fun"
jp0linsky, 12 Mai 2018

Despite the remodeling mess the staff was very helpful and made the experience a good one will definitely recommend it and look forward to staying again when the work is done our son lives in Boise idaho and we travel there often during the year andcsince we live in the western part of the state your hotel is perfect for a one day drive

"All I can say is what"
Rose B, 29 Avril 2018

As I put above all I can say is what a wonderful place. My husband and I have never been to Burns, came over to see his mother who just moved there. The room was super, the heat and ac works perfect the bed was a little soft for us but that is just us. And the spa tub, it was hard to get husband out he liked it so much. All I can say is keep up the great work.

"April Oregon trip"
ackml, 16 Avril 2018

Friendly and efficient service from the time of reservations to checkout. Clean comfortable rooms. Close proximity to a good restaurant. Easy access from the road, lots of parking. Staff took in to consideration special requests

"The pool is to die for!"
635janellem, 14 Avril 2018

Both of my sons were over the moon happy with the pool! Having an indoor pool made it so much better for any time of year. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, fresh coffee, waffles, and the morning news made me feel like were home. The staff was very friendly and helpful with were to eat each evening. The fresh baked cookies were a nice treat in the evenings. The hotel is pet friendly with a small fee. WELL worth it!

"Things are as they should be"
Paul B, 29 Mars 2018

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and I stayed there again because my first experience was so good. This time I have nothing but good things to say as well. Everything was as it should be which is a good thing. Given the opportunity, I would return in the future as well.

"Great place to stay in southern Oregon!"
George T, 21 Mars 2018

Good quiet rooms, good bed, and great breakfast from 6am to 9am! I will stay there again if I am in southern Oregon or travelling down to Nevada. They also had a very good restaurant next door for breakfast, lunch, and dinner though the breakfast at the Best Western was really good as far as I was concerned as you could get waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, milk, juice, and coffee. The also had cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, and multiple toast/pastry options.

"Doesn't Live up to BW Standards"
maddydakinson, 02 Mars 2018

I travel a lot for business and tend to seek out a Best Western property if I am staying in a town for the first time, even though prices are often higher than other properties. I do expect a little bit of courtesy from the front desk and not over the top rudeness in exchange for paying the extra. Not a place I would ever consider again.

"Not the Best Best Western"
MossGlen, 28 Février 2018

We selected this place because they take dogs, up to 80 lbs. with a two dog limit. The dog rooms seem lacking. The pool was closed and the spa. We were looking forward to the spa after to days of travel with one night on the plane. The breakfast was the standard BW breakfast. The Apple Peddler Restaurant wasn't fancy but it was good dinner food. Forget the wine but plenty of good beers.

"Solid choice for a short stay."
Ross000777, 19 Février 2018

Friendly service from staff. Check in and check out were very fast and smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. The property as a whole is a little tired and could use updates. But things are clean and everything in the room worked. If you are traveling through and need a place to crash on your journey, this will fit the bill. They will take dogs if you request a pet room. Even the pet room was clean and nice enough for the family.

"Nice place just a few details"
Kathy J, 16 Février 2018

Burns is a small high desert town in Eastern Oregon, Its mainly a ranching place but it the gateway to the Steens and Malheur National Bird Refuge, This hotel is the nicest in town and it is Nice. Beautiful entry , the breakfast room is well taken care of. The rooms are nice too EXCEPT they need to have comfort level toilets in all the rooms, We assumed that because it was a Best Western that was done, I believe it is a requirement. We had already used the room so went out to the truck and got our riser.

"Great pet room...No Fitness Center"
Jim&Jane, 06 Janvier 2018

Room was great. Worked well for our pet. Breakfast was good. Had nice pool (we did not use). Very friendly staff. Very disappointed they had no fitness center. My fault I should have checked. Just assumed they did since all my other stays at BW have them. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

"Excellent Place to stay in Burns/Hines Oregon"
Dean B, 03 Janvier 2018

This hotel is fantastic. Very friendly and happy helpful staff! Great facility. Indoor Pool and spa are sparkling clean. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this hotel!!

"Clean, Polite Staff, Large Room"
SJ1980, 31 Décembre 2017

If you are driving in this part of the world, you are obviously a ways out. This was a great place to stay for the night. The staff was very polite at check in, my room was clean and quite large, comfy bed, plenty of hot water and water pressure... I was a happy girl :)

"Best hotel I've been in! "
Christi C, 21 Décembre 2017

Extremely clean rooms, inviting decor, large CLEAN bathtub! I enjoyed my short stay here so well it was very difficult to leave! I travel all over and this was the best place I've stayed in ages! I ordered delivery from the pizza place and it was delicious. The staff was very helpful. And the laundry had above average appliances- were not expensive and worked WELL!

"Showers can kill the deal"
D9931UPmikem, 09 Décembre 2017

make sure that the showers work well it just takes 15 minutes once a year to do simple repairs that make all the difference. Hot water and redundancy of hot water is the most important thing to me. As the go to guy at our local Best Western I see what it takes to uphold this. Our local Best Western is a model of this to me.

"Quality night"
nicholee489, 30 Novembre 2017

Great hotel in a nice little country town. Friendly staff that make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend for business or pleasure. My trip was business but I would bring my family back. Love the value you receive for all Best Westerns.

"Decent "
R Layne H, 27 Novembre 2017

After a long drive with evening approaching in the middle of nowhere, this Best Western served its purpose quite well despite being pricier that I had expected. It was clean, check-in was efficient and the room was comfortable. The breakfast the following morning was minimalist but satisfactory. There is a restaurant and a convenience store nearby. For a single night, it served its purpose.

"Wonderful service; Comfortable stay"
TheoAndApril, 26 Novembre 2017

Faylin was enthusiastic and welcoming at arrival. All staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi tub; instructions were confusing, but the room was very clean and comfortable.

"Cheap and clean"
vacationaholic, 18 Novembre 2017

Came in late at night, and they had a room for me. I asked for a specific rate and the front desk person offered the "internet rate", which was about $20 cheaper than what I thought was the cheapest rate. Clean room. Would recommend.

"Great Place To Stay"
noworries2000, 09 Novembre 2017

Probably the best place to stay in the area - friendly staff, comfortable rooms, a few restaurant options nearby. Good breakfast, nice pool. good AAA rate - I would gladly stay here again when traveling through the area.

"Nice"
Alan G, 09 Novembre 2017

clean and quiet. Good. Plus I like the region a lot. The proximity of public lands is a good selling point. The best of the local restaurants is the Pine Room and the deli at Safeway is also nice. I will be back.

"Wonderful stay"
Matthew C, 07 Novembre 2017

Traveling from Idaho to Dexter, Oregon and decided to stay at the Best Western. Very friendly staff and hotel amenities were great. They just need to install lighting above the breakfast line so you can see the food. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again if my travels send me this way again.

"Great place to stay"
A6862LLtimb, 23 Octobre 2017

This is the second time I have stayed here. I was originally booked in a bottom floor room but they got me on the top floor with no fuss when I requested it. The bed is really good and the room very clean. Breakfast was good as well.

"Best place to stay in the Burns area!"
loganp961, 09 Octobre 2017

Very clean rooms with professional service. The hotel has a modern feel to it and has newer amenities. 24 hour pool and hot tub. Located in great place in town with food/gas/parks nearby. Highly suggest a stay here.

"Great respite"
Michael P, 07 Octobre 2017

Did a long ride from Portland to Hines and arrived late. Welcoming and accommodating staff and nice room. Everything clean and modern. Restaurants are close. Nice breakfast in the morning heading back to California.

"Good staff, clean property but"
Greg R, 03 Octobre 2017

I found lots of good parking and the inn was nice and clean from the outside. The lady that checked me in was friendly and fast and my room was clean too. The rate I paid was slightly low for a BW but it's a small town way out in the middle of Oregon so that seemed appropriate. The room itself- it feels like BW bought a cheap motel and did some work on it but not enough. The bed was soft and had a low spot in the middle-- it needs to be replaced. The shower head in the bathroom was made for the basketball team. I'm 5'8" and could barely reach it. It's aimed almost horizontally and can't be adjusted downward so the water shoots straight across hitting the far wall of the shower mostly. The bathroom had great counter space-- about twice the size of most other hotels and motels.

"Nice Find"
janaV1633SA, 02 Octobre 2017

Although the town was small, we found the hotel friendly and a good restaurant next door. Jordon handled our check in. She was professional and friendly. We also found 3 geocaches while staying in Hines. Thanks for a great time at your location.

"Lonng drive, comfortable stop"
montanavicki, 30 Septembre 2017

Lovely, welcoming "curb appeal!" Immediately helped by Faylinn. Cheerful and helpful. Lobby had window showing pristine pool with small waterfall. Inside corridors, thank you, and clean, attractive room. Full, hot breakfast and warm cookies at night! No fitness room, but I just used the carpeted stairway. Large, well-sectioned parking lot. We'll be back for sure!

"Very nice"
Tara B, 25 Septembre 2017

I liked this hotel a lot and am puzzled by the large number of 4 star vs 5 star reviews. It was clean, quiet, well maintained, well managed, in good location and had a nice breakfast. What more could you want?

"Best Western Typical"
Gay J, 22 Septembre 2017

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Pet friendly. Good breakfast choices. Walking distance to restaurant, fast food and Rite Aide. Probably the best choice in town also the most expensive but worth the extra.

"Clean and Comfortable stay"
283ud, 22 Septembre 2017

The hotel was clean and neat, the lobby was welcoming, the check in staff was friendly, the two queen bed room was roomy and clean, the décor was pleasant, however the lighting was somewhat dim in the bathroom. The room was clean and neat. The room was furnished with a Microwave and refrigerator, and coffee amenities. Bath towels were on the smaller side but over all the stay was very comfortable.

"Average"
todski85, 19 Septembre 2017

Not much to say, Very average place, bed was not great ,the pool was nice, the free breakfast was something to pass on. Just a place to sleep and then hit the road. Appears your paying a higher price for staying in a Best Western vs their own place just next door??

"We will be back !"
Lynn G, 19 Septembre 2017

This was our first time staying at this Best Western. We have absolutely no complaints. The rooms were nice, clean and had everything we needed. There is a restaurant right next door which was an added plus!

"Don't stay there"
marciah44, 19 Septembre 2017

There were very few options in the area, so we picked a Best Western thinking it would be nice as over the years we have stayed in them a few times. This one was extremely disappointing. Dirty, smelly, unsecured side door, priced way to high for what you get.

"Best Hotel in Burns"
Dean M, 18 Septembre 2017

Rooms are 98% clean with odor-free and clean beds. No stains on the carpet and the breakfast area is not bad but you'll get the same pre-cooked sausage and "tire-patch" pre-cooked fried eggs as Red Lion , etc. I've stayed at many places in Burns / Hines area and this is the best "bang for your buck."

"Clean & Comfortable"
shekath, 14 Septembre 2017

The young lady at the front desk was efficient and welcoming. Three cars full of customers showed up at one time, she kept a smile on her face and did a great job getting everyone checked in. Our room was what you would expect for a small community roadside stop. Nothing fancy, just clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was fine, juice, fruit, cereal, sausage, eggs and coffee. Rory & Ryan's sister property is just down the street without the Best Western banner. This could cause some confusion as they both have similar names.

"Unfortunately it's the best place to stay"
slaroche05, 05 Septembre 2017

The staff really needs to work on their customer service skills. From the front desk to the housekeepers. Unfortunately there is no better place to stay in Burns, so they don't have to go out of their way.

"Excellent as usual"
immrbill2016, 08 Août 2017

Whenever I'm in the Burns/Hines Oregon area this is my go to Hotel. Grounds are very well maintained, well lighted and plenty of parking, including large vehicle area. Lobby well maintained. Check in was easy and efficient. Stayed Wed Aug 2 and Sun Aug 6.One room upstairs one room downstairs. Both rooms equal .Room had Refrigerator, Microwave, Pod coffeemaker and shower amenities. Towels and washcloths were fresh and clean. Towels were thick. Shower Tub combination. Shower hear was very nice adjustable pulse/spray This is a rural area There is a grocery store Diagonally across the street and Restaurant in parking lot. McDonald's walking distance. A/C Heater was whisper quiet. If I had a complaint it would be the rate fluctuation at this hotel. From Wed night to my return trip on Sunday the rate had almost doubled. If you are going to be in the area I would suggest making a reservation. Hotel fills up fast.

"Always a great stay"
immrbill2016, 08 Août 2017

This Best western is always my go to hotel in the Burns Oregon area. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and comfortable. The showerhead is mounted far above head level and is adjustable. Lots of channels on the TV. Covered swimming pool and Hot Tub. Both very nice. Breakfast was very complete. Eggs, Sausage, Waffles, Juice .Coffee, Yogurt etc, All presented in a spotless breakfast room. This hotel is in a Rural location Lots of Pickup trucks in the parking lot but very quiet. A Grocery store across the street

"Great place to stay"
Sheri H, 07 Août 2017

Very nice hotel. Great place to stay when visiting the Malheur Wildlife Refuge. Nice, quiet rooms. Breakfast was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, but better than some places I have stayed. Nice pool area and front lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.

"Best place to stay for miles around"
Youleemic, 06 Août 2017

This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming and apologetic there was no elevator for second floor. There are only two elevators in the whole county and they are in the courthouse. If you can't take yourself and things upstairs, make sure you request a room on first floor. Also, because this is a rather isolated area miles from other hotels, it is best to make reservations ahead of time. When we were checking in several people came and had to be told they were full. It is a good place to stay if you are traveling through on either Highway 20 or 395.

"Burns Best Western"
matthewhH2914TL, 05 Août 2017

Pretty good stay at the Best Western in Burns, OR. Room was clean and organized well. Breakfeast was good, could have more options to choose from like breakfeast burritos. The wireless internet was poor and or slow most of my stay at the hotel.

"Luggage Cart Problem"
PKN41, 19 Juillet 2017

The hotel is ok, probably the best one in that town. It was clean and comfortable. We tried to get a luggage cart to use in getting our luggage into our room and was unable to find one. We asked the front desk clerk and she personally looked. She even offered to help us with our luggage. She told us they had two luggage carts, but other guests must have used them and had not returned them. This is not the fault of the hotel so if you are a guest that does not return the cart as soon as possible, you are a problem. Other people need them.

"Unexpectedly Perfect"
V9684CAwilliamk, 19 Juillet 2017

One of the nicest Best Westerns we've stayed at. The staff was super friendly, the room was super clean, and the breakfast was perfect! If we ever find ourselves traveling through Hines again, we will definitely be staying here.

"Great place."
453cameronr, 17 Juillet 2017

Staff was very quick and efficient checking us in. Very helpful in answering any questions we had. Offered great recommendations when it came to finding a restaurant, also helped us with directions. Overall great stay i highly recommend it .

"Mini vaca for just us."
sarahgW8576WA, 15 Juillet 2017

My husband and I just decided to take a random excursion through southern/central Oregon. We have always had good stays with Best Western. No reservation, just stopped in and got a room. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful.

"Lovely hotel, great staff!"
letsrun, 14 Juillet 2017

Hotel lobby is beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Offered great advice on where to eat. Found me a real glass to drink my wine from. Room was spotless and bed comfortable. Not complaints!

"Good place to stay"
Raymond Y, 10 Juillet 2017

We stayed here June this year (2017) and have stayed here a number of times. We have always had good service and clean rooms. WYFI service and a breakfast are available as well as a pool. They do give discounts for AAA and some others. The Apple Peddler Restaurant is next door.

"Quiet and comfortable"
sherrywQ2303YE, 10 Juillet 2017

This is our second stay at this hotel. We came back because we enjoyed our stay here the first time. This time we brought our swim suits and used the hot tub, it was very relaxing. The room was spacious and clean. I didn't realize that the room I reserved was "a handicapped room". It would have been ideal for someone that uses a wheel chair. The breakfast was OK with a variety, but nothing to rave about. What can you expect for "free"?

Excellent Value and very Friendly staff, Highly Recommend, Make reservations if you plan on traveling through here as they are booked most of the time and we were lucky to get a room and glad we did because the room was great.

"Worth the extra money."
Steven K, 04 Juillet 2017

We passed through this town two times heading to another location. The first time we found the lowest priced room and it worked for a place to crash. The second we decided to do best western as it is a good brand name. We loved it. Higher end finishing, clean, quiet rooms, takes pets, nice staff, has a pool area and just overall worth the extra $50 for a great nights sleep free from hearing everyone in the rooms next to you and outside noise. I would stay here again when we pass through next time.

"Comfy, dog friendly hotel with great indoor pool"
lindseyc964, 03 Juillet 2017

Stayed one night at the Best Western Rory & Ryan Inns, overall it was a great experience. The room was clean, bed was comfy, our dog was welcome and the pool was great! Hot items included in breakfast buffet could have been better, but the waffles were good!

"NIce Place"
Barb B, 26 Juin 2017

We stayed at this hotel with a group (Spokane Corvette Club) on our way to a car show in Lake Tahoe. After a long day driving, it was nice to have a good hotel and a a convenient restaurant in which to spend the night.

"Burns/Hines place to stay"
barbaragJ137TJ, 26 Juin 2017

If you are looking for comfort in the midst of harsh country, this is a place to stay. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, the free breakfast is typical of Best Western breakfasts, and the rooms are immaculate. I was in Burns/Hines for a conference, and in speaking with others, I think we were staying at the most comfortable accommodations.

"great night stay"
366edl, 24 Juin 2017

Good, clean room, great service, nice pool, nice breakfast, all around good experience. A nice family restaurant next door to the hotel. Very nice staff. Only complaint was that the internet service was very slow.

"Excellent Hotel"
aaronsL4919QJ, 19 Juin 2017

This hotel was a great place to stay. Very clean and nice rooms, comfy bed, pool/spa are well maintained, the kids had a great time swimming. The continental breakfast was fairly good and fresh for the items offer.

"Our stay"

Rooms were clean and the staff was great to work with. The Pool was clean and the right temp. Great Laundry facilities. The breakfast was good and kept replenished. My children were also pleased with their rooms. It was a great stay.

"Overnight in Hines, Oregon"
Donnairene6, 15 Juin 2017

This was a great hotel. Service and rooms very nice. Recommend a great restaurant "The Pines " to eat dinner. It was awesome. The pool looked inviting and all was very clean. The breakfast is always a bonus. Very nice.

"Very nice & friendly/helpful staff"
pvaller, 15 Juin 2017

Surprisingly nice accomodations for this area. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Very nice full breakfast included. Reasonably priced. Good location. Would definitely stay there again. But restaurant nearby is not great (Apple Peddlar) despite what they tell you at motel.

"Nice Hotel"
Merry H, 13 Juin 2017

It is a very nice hotel that is pet friendly. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They have an indoor pool. The drawback is the internet is a little slow and the breakfast is lacking in the protein area. The refrigerator in the room is a decent size and even has a little icebox freezer so you can buy something extra and eat it in your room.

"My trip to Ochoco National Forest.."

The Best Western the Rory & Ryan Inn in Hines Oregon is my go to location whenever I am in this part of Oregon. They are located so that you are in the middle of all kinds of adventures by driving in any direction.. I fish in the Ochoca National Forest, I visit the Steens Mountain Area, and many more.. I would highly recommend them for your stay...

Rory and Ryan Best Western is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean and the staff are pleasant and professional. It is quiet and the bed is comfortable. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel and I use them all the time for business trips.

"One day in Burns"
johnblake399, 28 Mai 2017

My wife and I were in Burns one night. We were supposed to stay three days, but were called home to an emergency. The manager was very nice refunding our costs We didn't have the 24 hour notice for one night but she was very nice in giving us our full refund. We really appreciate her help! The room was good, no complaints at all. The wifi worked great. The facilities are good, especially for a very small town.

"Nice property if you are visiting the Alford Desert or Steens Mountain"
icetsarina, 22 Mai 2017

My sister and I stayed here in April. The staff was very nice and efficient. The room was far better than I would have expected for such a small town. The hotel sits right beside a nice little restaurant. We checked out at 0500 and the receptionist gave us each a to go bag for breakfast. I would stay here again.

"Good place for Malheur"
Randal T, 16 Mai 2017

The Best Western in the highest quality lodging in Burns. There were no problems with our room, and although the booking system they used messed up my reservation (I reserved a pet-friendly room, but that was changed to a regular room when I got to check-in), they cheerfully accommodated us anyway. Breakfast was available in the morning, which helps get you on your way early, if that's what you need.

"Restful sleep"
Bruce J, 16 Mai 2017

This Best Western is well managed. The front desk is friendly and helpful. Chocolate cookies available at 5pm. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The eggs were less than appealing.

"Burns-Hines Lodging"
Charliew3, 14 Mai 2017

On the road from Ontario to Bend, OR, this is a great place to stay. It's 1/2 hour drive to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge which is well worth the effort. The motel is clean, well staffed and comfortable. It is quiet and easily accessed from Rte. 20.

"Great place for what I needed"
bethelandi, 12 Mai 2017

I wanted a basic overnight stop, and this place provides. The pool is warm and big enough to do a few short laps. Nice big hot tub with good jets. Breakfast is adequate with instant oatmeal, few cereals, yogurts, eggs, waffles, and muffins. No fitness room. Wonderful cookies for late afternoon. Nice touch - the whimsical sculptures of children as part of the landscape. The wifi was a little slow but adequate. The evening staff person was excellent in her position.

"AWESOME, AWESOME & AWESOME"
Debraandbenjamin, 08 Mai 2017

I stayed here while on business and I have to say this...it was amazing AND awesome. The hotel is a bit older but it's clean, the staff is welcoming and helpful and I got a great nights rest. The indoor pool was clean and at a perfect temperature. The pool wasn't busy even on a Friday night. THAT is a bonus. I didn't get a chance to try out the breakfast but if it's anything like the rest of this place then it was awesome, too. I'll stay here again whether for business or pleasure. The rate was good too and that's never a bad thing.

"Great Staff, great hotel, low price"
O755GErobertm, 01 Mai 2017

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was neat and clean as well as the rooms were clean. We have stayed in many five star hotels around the world. This in not a five star, but for the low price, cleanliness, location and especially friendly staff, it was great!

"Mr"

Stay there frequently when on business. Friendly, helpful staff, nice clean rooms, pet friendly and well stocked hot breakfast with a changing menu. Room rates increase during peak travel seasons. They should hold rates down during summer for frequent respect business who are BW Rewards members

"Quiet hotel"
Sherry P, 10 Avril 2017

During the Harney County Migratory Bird Festival, my husband and I spent one night at this clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well maintained. Warm chocolate chip cookies appear at the front desk at 5pm. The internet was good. The hot egg dish needs help! The location lacks ambiance but we were looking for a good night's rest. It fit the bill.

"our stay"

We stay here each time we come to the Harney Bird Festival. The location is perfect & we sleep well here in a peacful atmosphere. I'm sure the staff started breakfest 1 hour earlier to meet the birders' schedules. Thank you.

Poor breakfast bar and noisy fan. The staff service was ok as well as cleanliness. If things did not change I would consider staying somewhere else. I rate this as a 6 on a scale of 1-10. Room was fairly quiet and beds we comfortable.

Front desk was amazing!!! They placed us in a room with a jacuzzi tub and we didn't realize how MUCH we needed it! We loved it! The swimming pool was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Yummy fruit for waffles! Highly recommend this place!

"Great value, clean and friendly staff"
chargersox, 19 Novembre 2016

Decided to stay last minute late at night while on the way to Boise. Front desk person was extremely kind and helpful and made sure to ask us questions to see about getting discounts (AAA/ Govt rate). Rooms were good size and clean with refrigerator. Breakfast comes with room and included large selection including eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, yogurt, muffins, cereals, juices, teas, coffee. Even impressed they had Soy milk option to those that want it and sugar free items. Overall very nice hotel and great option to stay when in Burns.

"Great place for a night or forever"
billwild7769, 03 Novembre 2016

I recently stayed at the Best Western Rory and Ryan Inns in Hines, Oregon. I arrived late without a reservation and was warmly greeted by the night clerk and was immediately relieved to find a room was available. My room was clean and comfortable and close to the front desk and the free hot breakfast and coffee in the morning. The large indoor pool and hot tub were relaxing with plenty of towels available by the pool. Overall my stay was pleasant and comfortable. 2 thumbs up.

"great experience"

Beds were better than home. quiet convenient. breakfast had hot eggs, sausage, biscuits n gravy, not just your bagels and coffee hotel breakfast. only negatives room needs better lighting for office work and internet not very fast.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Rory & Ryan Inns, Hines, Oregon and found my stay very relaxing in a clean comfortable room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. The breakfast was excellent and had a good selection of breakfast items. Overall it was an excellent stay.

"Clean and neat"

This is the place to stay if you are coming through Burns or Hines. Pretty good breakfast and the rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub are great and the lobby area is nicely decorated.

"Ahhh!"
montanavicki, 21 Octobre 2016

Lovely property. Cheerful, smiling reception. Beautiful lobby and room. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Variety of pillows! Vanity light was very nice, tho shower could have been better. And the whole place smelled wonderful. Quite a variety at breakfast, hot and tasty. Server was pleasant and accommodating. She never stopped moving. We'll definitely stay here again.

"Room"
Larry H, 20 Octobre 2016

Small rooms, but dog friendly. Floors were very dirty, and I left note to such. Received a email from manager stating it was unusual, and would look into it. Price is high for what you get, but it was a good layover for 9 hours.

"A Nice Oasis"
Davis D, 10 Octobre 2016

The room is spacious and decently laid out. The shower is high enough that even one over six feet tall can stand under it without crouching. The bed is firm for good support yet comfortable for all sleeping positions. Breakfast selections are more than adequate for any appetite. 24-hour use of the pool and spa is the icing on the cake. I always enjoy work assignments pulling me out to Burns since I know I will be able to stay at this hotel.

"Poor wif fi"
Katherine L, 04 Octobre 2016

Clean rooms and easy check in. However the wi fi was terrible and a hinge on the door was broken. We were tired from a long day of driving and just did not report this. Disappointed. Good rooms for dogs.

"Poor wi fi and door hinge was broken"
gourmet82, 03 Octobre 2016

Easy to book. Room was ready on arrival. Larger than average. Clean. Wi fi was a big pain. So slow it was pretty impossible. Dog friendly room and good location for our dog. Door hinge broke upon entry, husband fixed it temporarily as our dog was anxious. Average hot and cold breakfast bar. Had takeout from Apple Peddlar. Fast and a pretty good serloin steak. Large t.v.

"Clean"
KRB9354, 30 Septembre 2016

The hotel was great after spending a week down the dry lake bed. The shower was nice and hot. The rooms were very clean and the people at the front desk were friendly. It was close to restaurants in the area.

"BWH"
Michael D, 14 Septembre 2016

The service at the front desk was decent, the room had very under-adequate lighting, there are almost no practical available outlets for devices without dragging extension cords with you, and the "high speed" internet service was slower than dial-up, and the room was over-priced.

"No Worries"
Dean M, 13 Septembre 2016

I have stayed at this hotel for the past five years on business and it's always been very accommodating in every respect. Clean rooms, honest folks cleaning your room and very helpful staff. The breakfast bar is above standard too.

"Best place to stay in the Burns-Hines, Oregon area"
Jack S, 08 Septembre 2016

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years on our travels from home to the Oregon coast and return. It's the halfway point for us. We have stayed at a couple other hotels in this area when this one is full, but if a vacancy is available, we always stay here. The breakfast provided is above average in that there are eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereals, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, and various fresh fruit options provided. The rooms are fairly large and the bathrooms are very nice. Television comes from Portland or Eugene but has a good selection of channels. Beds were very comfortable and towels were sufficient.

"Clean and comfortable"
OregonAdventurer2010, 04 Septembre 2016

This is a dependable place to stay when in Hines/Burns. It is always clean and the pool area is attractive and well kept. The breakfast area is clean and has lots of the standard motel breakfast food offerings. The attendant was especially hard working and on the ball the day we were there. Some negatives are the cleaning agents used by housekeeping leave an overpowering smell in the room and the price is a little high for the value.

"The usual Best Western quality"
740marie, 03 Septembre 2016

We were sightseeing in the area and chose the motel because our experience with Best Western has been consistently good. Comfortable room with large fridge, which we need since we carry most of our food with us. Good bed and everything was clean and worked well. Lighting was a little too low for our "senior eyes" and the shower flow was typical motel-water-restricted. But overall it was an excellent place to stay.

"Best Western Rory & Ryan Inns, Hines, OREGON"

Stay here every summer on my way to Wyoming. Great BW Rory and Ryan Inn a great place. Very comfortable, clean, good breakfast and safe. I would recommend this Inn to anyone passing through Hines on their way to destination.

Room and staff service was good. I have stayed here several times and only had a problem with the cable once. The staff is very friendly and there are a few vegetarian options for breakfast, which is nice to have.

"Great Place to stay!"
Robert T, 26 Août 2016

When on US20 and near Burns Oregon this is my go to place to stay! Extremely well maintained, indoor pool and spa. Always clean, well maintained, good beds, large rooms and a good morning hot breakfast. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

"Don't Stay just pass through"
John A, 21 Août 2016

Wi-Fi weak, empty beer bottle in room, towels with holes, vending machine missing items, asked for pillows, none came, manager not concerned, ANTS in Rm. 124. Noticed on day 3 of stay. Rooms ok otherwise. Pool nice, breakfast ok. I would pass through to Bend or Ontario and not stay here again. BW Rewards member not satisfied with this location.

"What you expect to experience staying at a BW property."
629michaeljv, 17 Août 2016

Clean room. (no carpeting - pet friendly) Beds move freely so be aware when plopping down on them! Southwest side of town on Route 395. Green grass outside perimeter. Pet friendly "area" at rear entrance.

"Good Place to Stop Over"
RPaxman2, 16 Août 2016

We stayed here on our way between Utah and Ashland, Oregon. The lobby smelled heavily of cigarette smoke (which worried us at first), but the room was clean and smelled good. We had to bring in our pillows from the car because the pillows on the bed were too small, but the mattress itself was comfortable. My husband used the pool and hot tub and was impressed with how well maintained they were. The breakfast was good and they kept up well with the demand. We were glad we had made reservations because we got the last room. We stayed in 103 - which is close to the pool - but we didn't notice any noise. It was nice and quiet.

"Once again...2nd floor romm no elevator"
carola597, 15 Août 2016

We had requested a lower level room and got a 2nd floor room with no elevator. The woman at the front desk said she knew nothing about the rewards program advertised on TV for staying 2 nights receiving a $50 card. The pillows on the bed were about half the size of normal pillows.

"Review of hotel stay"
christie k, 11 Août 2016

The hotel was very nice. It was a nice looking building and immediately upon arrival, we felt comfortable. This hotel is in the middle of Highway 20 in Central Oregon. I did not have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, staff was very nice and the room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Hotel serves breakfast which is included in the price.

"Good enough considering the location"
Lori L, 04 Août 2016

We were passing through on our way to Oregon. There are not a lot of choices in a small town like Hines. We were looking for a hotel with a refrigerator and space for our family. We were able to get a 3 queen bed room. It was a bit worn and scuffed, but it was large and clean. Our blackout curtains were missing in the 'master' bedroom so we held the decorative curtains together with clothes pins. The kids were excited to swim in the beautiful pool, but the heater was broken so the experience wasn't as nice as we thought it would be. Most disappointing is that the mini fridge didn't work well, so we had to throw out a lot of food that we had transferred from our cooler (lunch meat, milk, cooked chicken, etc...). Breakfast was good, but I overheard the employees talking about what limited choices of cereal they had at the moment. The lobby is just lovely and the grounds are beautiful, too. Maybe a little extra effort could be put into the rooms?

"Hines, OR a Diamond in The Rough"
Milton R, 01 Août 2016

Very professional front desk person upon check in and check out. The hotel was clean, well kept and nice décor. We would definitely stay here when in that area again. Just passing through to Boise ID and needed one stop along the way. Really a nice Best Western. Already have it on or to do again list. See you again Best Western in Hines, OR. The restaurant next door (not affiliated with Best Western at all) has a good selection of food. I had chicken wings and onion rings....very tasty. Salad was not too adequate... one tomato one carrot with iceberg lettuce just didn't do it for us. My husband had pork chops, mashed potatoes, roll and salad. Like we said salad not good.

"Great Place in HInes Oreong"
fwbrown, 27 Juillet 2016

Very nice hotel for this part of Oregon. Check in was great with very good staff. The room is nice with a fridge and micro. Only negative is that the WiFi is very very slow. Websites take a very long time to load. I am here for work and it is very difficult to get anything done.

"Great stop for a night"
Fifi4facts, 18 Juillet 2016

We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nice and rather new establishment in Hines. Staff was cheerful and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No afternoon cookies served here. I did miss that treat. Breakfast was good and with choices of eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and waffles. Other items included fruit, yogurt and muffins. The breakfast room was clean but it did get crowded and table space was limited. Not a huge problem you can always eat in your room or lobby area. We will definitely keep this hotel on our list for our trips between Arizona and Washington.

"Very nice surprise"
ToddyD, 13 Juillet 2016

This hotel is very nice and was a pleasant surprise on our road trip. For the price, I thought it was a good deal. The lobby and rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel is very quiet and located right along the highway. The breakfast was an average BW breakfast, so was nothing special.

"Nice room, horrible internet"
ArizonaBusTraveler, 09 Juillet 2016

speedtest.net showed connection speed of 0.5 and after they reset the modem it went to 1.5. They said Burns everywhere has this horrible speed since it is a backwater. I immediately checked out and went to Bend where most motels have decent connection as I had to check my email. Also, no phone service for T mobile in Burns.

"Best choice in Burns"
Laura m, 02 Juillet 2016

After reading reviews, we were concerned about our Burns stay as we were passing through. To be honest, I was not expecting much on this stop except I needed clean. It was much more. Great bedding, quiet on the second floor and I never heard a dog . Shower had strong hot water. Okay, it's not a honeymoon spot, but a great stopover

"Typical Best Western"
Paula S, 28 Juin 2016

Nice motel in a small town. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. We expected to be bothered by noise as we were on first floor and truck lot was right outside our window but it really didn't bother us. Nice pool and hot tub. Standard complimentary breakfast.

"Nice hotel"
saltonqueen, 24 Juin 2016

Very comfortable room, very nicely decorated and roomy. Good parking Very nice' comfy and quiet after a long drive up Highway 395. Easy to get to and close to restaurants and fast food. Internet and tv both very good

"Great stay"
John K, 17 Juin 2016

Pleasing and professional staff. Very accommodating and reasonably priced, especially if you book in advance before they raise their rates. Second year in a row we stayed here while shooting rats. Pool and Jacuzzi are great and well maintained.

"Passing through"
Peter S, 01 Juin 2016

We stayed here to rest during our trip from Salt Lake to the California coast. The hotel was easily located, the staff were friendly, the room was very clean and nice, and the breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. I can highly recommend this hotel for anybody wishing to get some rest during a long trip through this area of the country.

"Good value for your money"
ERIC B, 01 Juin 2016

Decent, clean, and presentable hotel. The staff were polite and seemed very friendly. Breakfast is simple but decent. The room was of a nice decor and clean. They allow pets, a plus for some people. The hotel rates are very reasonable for the room. Overall, a good value.

"The Best in Burns"
NWWildTurtle, 29 Mai 2016

We were on the last leg of a road trip and decided to stop in Burns/Hines for the night. I booked our room through Booking.com. The hotel is convenient to services in the area. There's a restaurant next door. The hotel indoor pool heater wasn't working but the hot tub was great. We had a pet friendly room because we wanted the ground floor. The room was clean, The bed was comfortable. One concern I had was that the beds are on casters and roll easily. Breakfast was very good. In addition to the usual cereal, yogurt, waffles and pastries there were fried eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Area attractions include the Malheur refuge, BLM wild horse corrals, and Steen Mountain loop.

"Nice Hotel"
Mike R, 25 Mai 2016

This hotel was very nice. The lady at the lobby counter tried to charge me full price even though I presented our AARP discount card. The problem was corrected in the morning during check-out. Our room had a comfortable bed, internet access and a flat panel TV. The morning breakfast was great, eggs, sausage and the rest. The Panhandlers Restaurant is right next door making it convenient to have something good to eat. Great place to stay.

"Burns, Oregon, oasis"
Willis M, 24 Mai 2016

Lodging options for Burns, Oregon, are sparse. There are two RORY and RYAN properties; the one affiliated with BEST WESTERN is quite fine. The APPLE PEDDLER next door has adequate food; the local steakhouse, however, is better.

"Comfortable Place to Stay"
barbarafC7908PZ, 18 Mai 2016

Comfortable hotel, good breakfast. Internet was great, rooms clean. Apple Peddler next door and an expresso stand close. Outside decor very cute with children statutes. Pool was great and we enjoyed it!

"Gem in Eastern Oregon"
Jeffrey L, 16 Mai 2016

Hard to beat this Best Western in Hines, Oregon. Place is in immaculate condition, parking area is very large, and room are spacious and clean. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful which is indicative of the people in this area. I currently only travel here for business but plan on making the Hines/ Burns area a destination for family adventures.

"Pretty nice"
WanderingShebo, 04 Mai 2016

I stayed here for one night in April 2016 and was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff were courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. I was here for a birding trip so I was glad to see that breakfast started at 5:00 am. The pool looked nice and larger than expected but I didn't have my swimsuit. My only pet peeves are that the fan comes on when you switch on the bathroom light (even though there is a separate fan) and styrofoam coffee cups.

"A Total Nightmare"
Miranda A, 29 Avril 2016

Let me tell you the tale of my family's nightmare at this awful place. It began in the early morning hours of 04/15/16. My family, (husband and 5 year old child) had traveled for 13+ hours from Las Vegas, NV, with a U-Haul, and a separate car. My SO had to start his new job in Forest Grove, OR on Monday (this was Friday) and we were racing against the clock because we had to get the keys to our new apartment by 4pm that same day. We could not drive any longer due to bad weather and very sleepy. We were so happy to see the sign for this Best Western. I happily handed over my credit card, hardly caring about the overpriced room for the 4 hours we would crash in it for. We parked our U-Haul in the oversize parking lot we were directed to park in and grabbed what precious few items we needed for sleep and stumbled into the room. Check-in time was 3:32 a.m. A friendly older lady at the desk bantered with us a little and sympathized with our late night traveling experience and sent us on our way. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, but when you're that tired you don't care. Our alarm went off much to early, looking bedraggled but awake, walked to the front desk lobby, and handed our cards to a lady at the desk (check-out time was 8:21am) and went to see about breakfast. It was as awful tasting as it looked. That was that, we were on our way to Forest Grove, and our new life! A six hour drive later we got the keys for our apartment with 2 hours to spare! Over the next few days I periodically checked the bank account, and made note that the $250 charge, which I thought was just a pre-auth charge, was still there and was no longer pending but had been posted as a sale. Nearly 2 weeks passed, and not having much experience with hotel stays other than a few road-trips in my life to visit friends or family, thought that this would most likely fall off as it would be sorted. Being the diligent person that I am, I thought a quick call to Best Western would clear up any issue or anxiety for me and I was most likely just being impatient. Boy was I in for a surprise! The lady from Best Western customer care informed me that we were being charged for damages incurred upon our stay. I called the hotel. A certain manager named Heath informed me that after we had left the cleaning ladies had found razor blade marks on a desk, a damaged curtain (like by fire) and a very strong smell of "smoke" due to drug usage, and the room had to be fumigated for 5 days. Allegedly there was also a police report. At this point I was completely stunned. This made absolutely no logical sense to me. I ask to speak with the manager who was on duty at the time. Heath informs me her name is Kelly. I decide to call back first thing in the morning to speak with this lady. I took to social media to air my disbelief that my family was being held financially responsible for damages we did not inflict. When I logged into my Best Western rewards account to see if there was confirmation of our stay I found something odd. **see photo for reference** While there was confirmation of a prior stay in St. George Utah at the Coral Hills location (wonderful hotel by the way), there was no confirmation of my stay at this location in Hines OR. I clicked around on various tabs and on my cancelled reservations tab there is a reservation but it has been cancelled. The check-in time was listed as 04/15/16 at 2.pm, check out time was 04/16/16 am. We had checked out by 8:21 on 04/15/16, long before the time on this record, among other discrepancies. The next morning I spoke with Kelly. I have no recollection of dealing with this lady the night or morning of our stay, but boy was she rude! She was CERTAIN we had caused these damages and was in no mood to entertain any other possibility. When I asked for the police report she said there wasn't one, and they had called the police to find out how to deal with the SMELL. She then very self righteously implied that the smell was due to "METH" use,--but made sure to inform me that she had no idea herself what it smelled like (Like I do lady!??). I calmly asked if there were any cameras that could show any other activity in the hallways after we vacated she said no, I asked to be sent the photos of proof she allegedly had, but she said that wasn't possible. When I voiced my disbelief at this entire situation and her total refusal in entertaining any other possible scenarios of what might have happened after we vacated, she rudely hung up the phone on me. I took to twitter again. Elizabeth from BW International called me almost immediately to diffuse/discuss the situation. She apologized for the mess and said that while hotel refused to refund the money BW International would send a $250 check to cover the CC charge and retain our future business. Hardly a consolation for the humiliation my family suffered and all but being outright accused of being meth addicts. We didn't even receive points for our stay, and besides the cancelled reservation, not even a record or emailed receipt of our visit. Besides not having to pay for damages we had nothing to do with, we received no compensation for our troubles. Something very fishy happened here and we got blamed. 0/0 DO NOT recommend and would NEVER stay again. Fellow travelers, please take photos of your room before you leave. You might thank yourself later. TLDR A nice family of 3, with a young child age of 5, stayed for 4 1/2 hours to catch some much needed zzz's after 13+ hours of straight driving on our way from Las Vegas, NV to Forest Grove, OR. Got charged $250.00 for damages due to alleged meth usage in the room we stayed in after we vacated. No refund from this particular hotel, but Best Western International are apparently sending us a check in the mail to cover the charges (assumed to be arriving next week).

"Apartment"
Crane43, 10 Avril 2016

We stayed in what is called the apartment on the busy weekend of the bird festival. I would not recommend the unit. It has an outside door (no access to lobby, pool, breakfast without going around the building). It does not have a number or peep hole (although one could look at door from window). It does have a kitchen with good variety of equipment, stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator. It has a dishwasher with no soap in unit. When we came, the unit was clean but we noticed when we got ready to shower in the morning, only one bath towel. We requested towels and garbage being taken as cleaning preferences. We got clean towels second day (including 2 bath towels). That was the last time unit was serviced. Our third day got no garbage removal, towels, etc. The unit is off the laundry room, no noise problem until third day of stay when (I suspect) laundry room door to hallway was left open and we could hear everything in the front desk area (including a loud conversation about work matters from I suspect the employees at 10:30 pm). The motel nicely changed their breakfast hours to earlier hours for birding activities (5 am). Unfortunately the last day we heard kitchen shift coming on at 4:30 am (again probably because of open door as we didn't hear them 1st two days). Unit does not have a clock in the bedroom so bring your own if you need one. No hangers in closet, we asked and got ones that go in regular units not wire ones that would work. I would be happier if unit was priced at the level of service. We are now in Ponderosa at Sisters and it is soo much nicer. The breakfast worker was good and working very hard to please everyone.

"Terrible Night's Sleep"
travelguy1972Chicago, 18 Mars 2016

The plumbing at this location is ridiculously loud. My neighbors started to shower and get ready at 5 a.m. and i heard every bid of it, each time the water went on and off. Then they had a nice loud conversation outside my room.

"Really Nice!"
LindaF9999, 17 Mars 2016

Nice hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful. And it's pet friendly. Our room is nice -beds are comfortable. There is a restaurant next door. The pool was being cleaned but you could go to their sister hotel which is basically next door. We will stay here again.

"Nice little hotel in this nice little town"
pelaminnesota, 08 Mars 2016

This was a very nice hotel for this small town. Everything was typical, but just fine- comfy beds and bathroom. Except the bathroom fan was extremely loud and needs replacing. We were there on July 4th and were treated to fireworks just outside on the front lawn. Great small town experience!

"Best Western at Its Best"
WorldTrvlr13, 03 Mars 2016

There seems to be a fairly high standard for Best Westerns and this motel fits the bill. Check-in was quick and the staff friendly and informative. The room was clean with all the amenities - frig, microwave, nice sized tv, decent bathrooms with tubs/shower, coffee maker, hair dryer etc. The bed was decent. A full, complimentary breakfast was provided daily. There is an indoor pool and hot tub that is open 24 hrs a day. The only thing I didn't like was the outside side doors didn't have locks on them so anyone could walk into the motel that wasn't a guest at anytime.

"Amazing"
Notoimpressed, 03 Mars 2016

We stayed at this super clean and friendly hotel last night. Everything was perfect! Our room was clean and comfy, breakfast was great it was all around a great stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. The front desk receptionist Faylinn was super sweet and so helpful she was amazing! Thanks for a great night!!

"Probably as good as it gets in Burns"
Petrea H, 21 Janvier 2016

This hotel is fine. Its nothing special, but it was clean. The heating unit was extremely noisy. The toiletries were lower quality. The breakfast was not very good, and all of the choices were highly processed.

"Loved the jacuzzi "
Penny B, 15 Janvier 2016

My husband and I stay here often. The customer service here is wonderful. Everyone bends over backwards to make sure our visit is the best it can be. During our most recent stay, we decided to stay in the jacuzzi room. What a treat. Watched the Seahawks wild card match against Minnesota in a bubble bath jacuzzi. Best time ever! The free breakfast is much better than the average breakfast you get most places. The pool is nice. I wish they had a fitness room. But, I guess you can't have everything. Everything is nice and clean. The rooms are pretty big and the beds are comfortable.

"Pretty Decent hotel"
EPundertheSea, 11 Janvier 2016

I really wasn't expecting anything out of Burns, but the rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was pretty awesome and 24 hours, and it was centrally located, although Burns would be a hard place to be too far out of the city. I'd stay again.

"Worst room we have ever stayed in"
Claudia R, 03 Janvier 2016

The room was not clean, floor was sticky to walk on. I called the desk and told them about the floor, he came right to our room with a mop and mopped the floor. Problem being the mop water was sour and it was worse than before he mopped it. In Burns there are not many choices for motels. We had 2 little dogs with us and advised the desk of that. The room get got was more like a kennel with a bed in it, rather than a room that would accommodate pets. Could not regulate heater, toilet seat loose, breakfast was poor they cereal and no milk. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I will NEVER stay there again

"Christmas 2015"
Marilee S, 31 Décembre 2015

very nice place to stay on our Christmas Trek across country to be with family and friends. Great swimming pool, hot tub, and hot breakfast. the Inn is pet friendly, that is very important to us. We will definitely make this our half way stop again.

"Always look forward to our stay"
ZipSequim, 28 Décembre 2015

Clean rooms, great shower head (a must) and comfortable bed, along with a happy staff and a nice breakfast makes each stay here something to look forward to. They always try to accommodate us with the same room as we stay here at least two times a year to visit family.

"Thanksgiving Trip"
Randolph K, 24 Décembre 2015

Overall very nice hotel and staff. I would stay here again if ever in the area. Did get some snow while staying here but was not the hotels staffs fault...LOL trying to meet the minimum of 200 characters in order to get past this page.

"Relaxing"
Sherry B, 23 Décembre 2015

I stopped at this hotel because the weather was getting bad and I didn't want to drive over the pass while it was snowing and icy. They offer 24 hour access to the pool and hot tub. We were able to get settled in, go have dinner and then relax in the hot tub before turning in for the night. I even did a few laps in the pool. It was heated and felt great.

"If You Need to Stay in Burns, Stay Here"
Kathy J, 15 Décembre 2015

I planned a drive from the Portland area to Boise, and thought I could make it in one day, not realizing the extent of mountain roads I'd have to pass through. Once I got to Burns, I realized it was the last real "civilization" I'd see for 4-5 hours, so I decided to stay the night. Clean rooms, decent rates, pool & hot tub open 24 hours. No dining on site, but across the street from a grocery store. Not much going on in Burns for restaurants...there are a few and one is right next door. I was too tired to venture out, but the place served it's purpose for me. Clean room, free wifi, television, good bed.

"Burns visit"
Mkase1978, 07 Décembre 2015

This is a nice motel for the southern Oregon area. A little more expensive than others in the area, but worth it. Quiet area that is a ways away from the downtown core of Burns, but is worth the drive. Breakfast is okay. Recommend going into Burns to eat. Not a fan of the restaurant next door.

"A good rest from icy roads and early winter storm"
1947res, 02 Décembre 2015

After six hours going 40 mph on icy roads, this place was an oasis. Wasn't sure what this small town in rural Oregon would have to offer, but this place came through nicely good as any other town on more heavily traveled roads. Place was modern, clean and well-kept. Glad we stayed. Free breakfast a little skimpy but adequate.

"Nice Lobby and Pool"
Brenda O, 30 Novembre 2015

The pool was nice and refreshing after a day of travel. The spa was broken so we could not use it. The room was ok but the mattress was hard and the heater very loud. The lobby was very nice and the staff was pleasant enough.

"A must see"
Bradley H, 29 Novembre 2015

A terrific hotel oasis. Great people, great food, great service! Pool and hot tub are beautiful. Kenny, Kelly, Heath, Faylinn, Sarah, and the rest of the team are great. Pet Friendly is a plus. My dog Mater, loved the area.

"vacation"

It is our halfway point on returning home from hunting in Idaho. Great location, centrally located, great staff, continental breakfast, pool, Jacuzzi and very accommodating to our needs. Near local attractions. SAfe environment.

"BW property Hines OR"
Grigore G, 10 Novembre 2015

Stayed here before, a couple of times and I do not know why, this one time it felt a bit disappointing. The property it self still competitive but the town is not shinning. I accepted this trip for the drive, Bend OR to Burns OR,UFO land I call it (never encountered one, just some Oregon obsidian and sunstones ).Therefore around here not many choices and I still think is the best place to call it the night. Internet access could be better ,but out here you have your plan B. There was one thing impressed me, shower pressure, excellent.

"Very friendly"
Barbara G, 09 Novembre 2015

This is a very friendly and convenient motel. Gas station across the street, restaurant next door, lovely swimming pool and hot tub. It was a welcome relief to see this inviting motel after coming over the pass from John Day !

"The only decent looking place in the Burns area"
kolohe280, 07 Novembre 2015

I had originally made a reservation at another hotel in Burns, but after driving by it on the way to Yellowstone, I changed the reservation to this hotel. I didn't really expect much in Burns, but this hotel turned out to be very nice. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The guy at the front desk was nice and efficient. Now, if Burns just had someplace decent to eat on a Sunday night......

"vacation"
Tom S, 06 Novembre 2015

I was pleasantly surprised by the professional, friendly, and available staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the daily maid service top notch. The indoor pool and whirlpool were modern, clean, and not overcrowded. Overall, it was one of the very best motel experiences.

"Clean friendly hotel"
Cheri K, 03 Novembre 2015

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good also. We have stayed at other places for the same price with much less quality! Would stay here again!

"Very nice hotel and great pool!"
Paoniakid, 03 Novembre 2015

We did a drop in to this hotel, after being too tired to make it all the way to Bend. We thought it was the best hotel in a two week trip to the PNW. Very clean room, staff were exceptional, breakfast was adequate. The highlight was the very big pool, a real pool unlike most hotel pools. I could actually swim laps. The hot tub was great. We would stay here again.

"Unexpected Quality for Location"
Steven H, 28 Octobre 2015

Excellent place to stay if you're passing through this area. The pool is very nice and the breakfast is nice to have on location. The restaurant next door was good as well. I'd stay here again if I had the chance.

"Nice room, bad breakfast"
Wendy W, 23 Octobre 2015

We stay at this hotel probably twice a year as I have family in the area. This trip was a little different. The room as great and we have no complaints about that. However, the hallway carpet was very dirty both days we were there, candy wrappers and bits of stuff in the same sport both days. The breakfast was okay this time and usually it is better. The apple juice was clearly watered down and the powdered eggs were very dry. There was sausage on both days so it would be nice if that could be changed up to at least bacon once in a while.

"Rory & Ryan BW in Hines, OR"
Paul P, 17 Octobre 2015

I've stayed here several times, and I've always been satisfied with the quality of my experience. The staff is particularly helpful and strives to meet any needs that you may have as a guest of the facility. I would recommend the Rory & Ryan Best Western in Hines, Oregon as a place to stay when passing through the area.

"Great place to stay"
Penny B, 13 Octobre 2015

We always stay here while in Burns now. We have tried others, but this is by far the best. The staff goes out of their way to make sure our needs are met. Thanks to everyone from managers to maintenance for always making our stay a good one.

"Don't stay here"
Marsha C, 01 Octobre 2015

If you have to stay in Burns, don't stay here. It is very overpriced for a below average room. Best Western should be ashamed to have this property in their realm. Skimpy rough towels; poor lighting; chair that does not fit under table where you have to use computer; large hole in window screen; poor snowy TV reception, etc.

"A nice place to stay."
Frank T, 23 Septembre 2015

By far the nicest place to stay in the Burns area. The staff was great, the rooms were large and clean and the breakfast was good. The lobby was nice, except the spotted used brick on the floor made the place feel a little dirty.

"Clean & modern in the middle of nowhere!"
Megan R, 22 Septembre 2015

Very nice hotel out in the middle of "Nowheresville", OR. We did not expect much, however this was a very well kept hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and had all the modern conveniences. The swimming pool was amazing. Breakfast was very normal and standard for hotels these days, however they have gone to a bit of extra effort to make the area more appealing. It is open and airy with little flower vases on the tables the staff member kept it spotless!

"Decent stay"
FallenLeafGal, 20 Septembre 2015

The bedrooms didn't match the beautiful lobby and pool area. We were in a 3 Queen suite. Decor was dated, beds were very uncomfortable, and what's with the tiny square pillows on the beds? There wasn't a privacy blind in the 2nd bedroom. Had to hang up bedspreads. Mentioned it to the lady at the front desk the next morning and she said they'd get that fixed. I hope they do. Breakfast offerings were good. Overall, it was OK.

"Great business stop"
Loren B, 19 Septembre 2015

Rooms are comfortable and consistently clean. Breakfast is very good. Convenient location to surrounding area. Best place to stay if you are visiting the beautiful Steens Mountains, French Glen and the Burns area.
