"this is a factory for tourists"

Ah, a summer in Hayward. It would be good without the customers of those stingy hotel managers. SureStay Plus is a noisy motel and walls are thin. I could not sleep because the front-desk doesn't know how to enforce quiet hours. All these stairs and hallway go to a same spot: one and lonely elevator. Breakfast is waiting for people who don't say a word against food without taste. The surroundings are ugly. A smell in the beds and carpets is strong. Why cleaning is not satisfying? TV programs are from the dumbest.

Listen folks I'm a real person posting a real review. The SureStay in Hayward, Ca is a hotel you have to experience. Plus, you roll out of bed to a hot breakfast. Eggs,bacon,toast,yogurt, cereal, coffee, milk and snacks to start your day. Just tell them that you know Terrance and they will smile and welcome you in. **********

First off, Tracy (front desk clerk) is great and did her best to accommodate me. Staff members were friendly too. Good vibes! My room not only looked clean but felt clean and fresh. Price is reasonable. I stayed two nights and would stay here again.

Felt safe and clean average room friendly staff nice little breakfast great location next to restaurants and shops very close to freeway but not real noisy. Only complaint was maids talking in hallway in morning. Room was quiet bed was comfy

My family and I decided to go tovthe beautiful city of San Francisco for my birthday. We Booker a stay at what turned out to be one of the best Sure Stay Hotels We have ever been. The cleanest one of all. We loved the customer service and the breakfast options. Thank you for a great birthday stay.

Good price, convenient location. Room was clean for the most part and the bed was comfy. Only issues was the Wifi did not work and the hallways were loud during the night. The sink and tub also had issues. They would fill up while using and take a few minutes to drain. Other than that, would recommend.

Breakfast is a joke at this property, 2 small granola bars and a small cup of coffee, that's it, no juice, no hot tea or hot water, no cereal, nothing else. Also, be extreme careful while taking a shower because there were no rubber mats to cover the tub so it's very slippery. I told the hotel staff when I check out but not sure they will fix that problem or not.

Friendly, attentive, professional staff from front desk to housekeeping. Non-smoking property, but needs to educate guests more on this policy. Surprisingly quiet and relaxing for the location. Location is convenient and easy to get to. Planning future stays.

I had recently stayed at Best Western Properties at both Pahrump, NV and Corte Madera, CA. This was my first experience with a SureStay Plus property. I asked for a quiet ground floor room with bath and desk, and ended up with a room directly across the hall from the ground floor ice dispenser and soda can machine. A learning experience for me. A fly-specked pillow was among the pillows we used (we only slept in 1 of the 2 queen beds, so could have been more to find), the bathroom fan appears to be heavily caked with lint and sounds like it is tearing itself apart, the window blinds would not raise or lower, being jammed in their tracks (this, luckily, I was able to fix with the help of my Leatherman). There is 1 nightstand and 2 plugs total between the 2 beds, so if you have multiple guests with CPAPs or who need a nightstand plug or charger on both sides of the bed, well, bring extension cords and/or your own nightstand, the room furniture is bolted down with no nightstands on the other side of the bed. The TV is locked-down DirectTV with no capability for signing into a streaming service as a guest On the plus side, the staff was pleasant, even when they apologized for not having an extra blanket available unless housekeeping was on-property. Beds were good for what they were, although the undersized mattresses will result in barking your shins against the black steel bedframe if you are not quite careful navigating the cluttered and dimly lit room. Avoid room 110.

"Newly renovated, clean and comfortable"

The Hotel has been newly renovated and is clean and comfortable. The employees especially Tracy at the front desk and the housekeeper Elvia are very nice and accommodating. Everything is brand new in the hotel and they provide and extended continental breakfast. Several nice restaurants and shopping nearby at Union Square shopping center.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night October 15-16 3021. Hotel is right off the freeway exit. Shopping and restaurants close by. The property has been reopened a month after complete refurbishment. Every thing is new. Clean new beds and bedding. The bed was very firm and comfortable. The pandemic breakfast was better compared to other offerings I have been issued at our usual hotel. We are switching. We visit family here five times a year at least. I definitely will recommend this property when all you need is a clean place to safely sleep and rest.

I stayed from 9/4/21-9/5/21. The staff were courteous and inviting. The on the go breakfast was great and made me feel safe during this COVID time. Check in was straightforward and it was nice being the first person to stay in this room! The bed was amazing and I loved my stay.

I stayed at SureStay @ Hayward for a business meeting. It was a delightful stay. It was a very calm and peaceful environment so I had no distractions while going over my notes. Bed was very comfortable. I also noticed that the place was newly rennovated. In addition, the staff had awesome customer service; they did a curtesy wake up call the next morning and also provided breakfast. I highly recommend staying at the SureStay Plus Hotel!
