Je m’inscris My check-in was very easy and the clerk was very nice. I needed something printed out and I e-mailed it to her and she printed it out for no charge. The location was very easy to get to and parking was easy. My room was quite comfortable and the bed was nice. there was coffee in the room and also available in the lobby. There was an iron and board in the room along with a hair drier and other amenities. The had coffee, juice, toast and cereal for breakfast.
I'm telling y'all Don't waste your points or money at this place. Saying this place is filthy is An understatement . I couldn't believe what I had just walked into after seeing the pictures posted by the company on line. The halls reek of cigarette smoke and marijuana . Our room didn't have any towels , just two stained washcloths .Sheets had cigarette burn holes on them in multiple places. No TV remote and it didn't have a working phone either in the room. The Smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling by 2 thin wires. The beside table that separates the double beds ,was almost completely unhinged from the wall. The Carpet in our room was so dirty and musty mildew smelling and didn't appear to have been vacuumed in a long while. The hallway wasn't any better . Went and Asked the male receptionist for some assistance at the front desk but was denied . My keycard for my door wasn't working The gentleman Jeremy (Bob Evan's hat ) .who checked me in moments earlier, quickly in formed me again he was busy and denied assisting me when I asked about getting another key card made. Switching rooms wasn't An option .He doesn't have any customer Service skills, he was so rude and honestly a total smart ass when I asked for some towels. He quickly informed me that it was the housekeepers responsibility not his. So I'm assuming all he does is collect his money. I would not recommend this place. There's several other close hotels besides this rundown shady place.
First room: A plastic bag was covering the smoke alarm on the ceiling. Immediately requested to switch to another room. Second room: Roach-infested. Saw three of them in the first minute of walking in the room. 100% would not recommend, avoid at all costs.
I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. I have low standards but ended up leaving after checking in due to: • Blood on the bathroom wall •Someone smoking weed in the lounge - I'm 4/20 friendly but I don't want to wake up high. Our room was right across from the lounge. •The gap between the floor and the door was so large I could hear people coming in and out of the lobby. •Bathroom faucet was in a state of disrepair. •Shower head was gross. •The deadbolt had been ripped off the door and never replaced. •Non-guests loitering in the parking lot. I was afraid our car would be broken into.
The room was small. The tub was not safe. No hand rails, the bottom of the tub was slick. I had to put a towel down to keep from slipping. Lots of homeless people hanging around outside and inside. Lots of Marijuana smell at all times. The breakfast was non existent. Had to continually ask for cups. No food except cold cereal but no milk. The picture on the tv was so bad you couldn't even watch it. I would not recommend this hotel.
very dirty and worn out, open wires hanging from the lamps next to the bed, black path of dirt down the hallway, carpet torn off of steps and wet chunks of soap in the corner of vanity. bathtub was stained, phone keypad was dirty. white sheets appeared clean but blanket in-between the sheets had blood stain on it.
Horrible place sleep in your car before staying here. Towels were stained, carpet filthy, pillows had no filling. Hole in the wall in the room and shower faucet and spout had gaps between the face plate and wall water leaking into the wall. A/C did not cool the room
Great Value for your money. Comfy beds and the staff is so helpful. I arrived early and Jeremy was so kind and let me check in early. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy!! The breakfast was fantastic and had a good variety of items I will return again soon.
The staff and rooms are the best around in Cincinnati/NKY. Breakfast is great, rooms are clean and they almost always have a room available when you need it most. You can tell as soon as you walk in the doors that they take extra great care of the facility and that's what makes it feel like home!
Not up to best western standards. Cheaper hotel; but you get what you pay for. not best clientele, and property is much older. Lots of dogs and I have allergies, heard barking a few times. Breakfast not great. Check in was not good and phone didn't work in room (no cord) and was not rectified.
Don't be fooled by the BW name not even close!! Room wasn't made up when we got there, once finished the sheets were wet to the touch. Please view photos attached this was the bathroom, not sure how this can actually pass code. BW needs to rethink this type Of hotel as part of their chain.
Hot water in the shower was good. Hotel seen better days 30 years ago. Dog in hotel barked all night. Breakfast room was locked when I left at 530am. Walked barefoot from bed to shower and dirt from the carpet was evident in the shower. Door to room hit the jamb every time you opened or closed the door.
I always have an amazing time i love it an i would recommrnd anyone come you will have a great time and they have a wonderful breakfast also an i tell ya the people that run the place are just as amazing yoi i would work in this feild due to watchinh and seeing how good they are to me
The minimum required for a hotel room is cleaning and the room we stayed is in a very bad shape: terrible smell probably coming from the carpet due to the strong lack of cleaning aspect, bed covering sheets with bad smell and aspect of not good (or no-existing) washing process. We checked in late night and was not feasible to look for another hotel but we were very disappointed with the room conditions. We use Best Western very often but this one was totally our of the standard. Since the hall we were able to feel the bad smell coming potentially from others rooms and/or also from the hall carpet. This hotel need an urgent refurbishment!
Very unkept property. Asked for refund and cancellation of reservation after seeing room. They did refund our stay and we made reservation at Best Western in Floerence, Ky. Room was musty. Carpet was dirty. Security lock was broken off room door. Electric plug in hanging out of bathroom walls. Noisy room. Hallway had broken tile on floor making it a trip hazard. Lobby area hot and had fan on chair. I expected much better from a property associated with Best Western. The actual Best Western in Florence was much better.
Dirty bedding and carpets, ran out of food, tv channels not working, phone didn't work, not enough staff.
Don't waste your money. There were roaches everywhere and the smoke smell was awful. We left our stuff in the car. So it wouldn't be infested with bugs.
The first thing we noticed is that the carpets were filthy and the whole building smelled like smoke. We could hear every sound from every room we passed. We got to our room and there were roaches all over the bathroom and crawling on the walls!!
The GM at the front desk went above and beyond and was able to accommodate my room early way before the set check in time
They have no housekeeper according to front desk, and it shows. My room was filthy and they hadn't even changed the sheets. I found a sock in the bed along with questionable stains, toenails, and bugs.
Due to safety issues I did not end up staying here, left immediately after check in, didn't even use the room. Front desk agreed to cancel but refused to give receipt. Then only after cancelling said I would lose points used to reserve. Called Reservation line and was treated poorly and transferred to inappropriate reps who were confused and unhelpful. I had to find another place to stay last minute.
Do not stay here. Hotel is filthy I wouldn't let my dog live here. I didn't even stay there I slept on a friends couch that night
This place is not clean and not safe People hanging out in their cars and smoke detectors was missing, even though mount was there. The room was not clean. Sheets dirty, one handle on chair was stained black and there was a red wrapper from previous occupants soap. Someone had obviously smoked in the room from the smell. One bedside table had been ripped off wall and placed on the floor. The picture frame on wall was wet/ rotted. There was a hole in the wall under picture.
The whole building was dirty and smelly. We could not stay in that filth. Girl at the desk could not get ahold of the manager/ owner to reimburse me at the time. 3 days later, I still have not been reimbursed. Do not stay here!!! I stay at Bestwestern hotels a lot and have never seen such filth
A white Tesla woke me up in the middle of the night blaring its music. When I woke the next morning, the owner was cleaning it and showing it off to someone. I asked The woman at the front desk if that person was an employee, she said that he was a supervisor. So I approached, wanting to discuss what happened the previous night and asked if he were a supervisor. I had to ask three times before he finally said that he was, and when I explain to him that he pulled up last night at a rather late, our blaring his music, he proceeded to say that he did not wake me up. He explained to me that his glass on his Tesla is acoustic glass, and therefore no sound could possibly ever have escape from it. I expressed my displeasure at this, and we got into a rather heated discussion. He approached me aggressively telling me to get away when I was nearly four feet from him. He continue to argue with me regarding it before finally offering a refund when I said I'd take it, he turned to the other gentleman with him and said see that's all they want. This understandably made the situation far worse we continued to argue back-and-forth. He continued to tell me to go inside, go inside, go inside to the office, and when I said I would follow him in he did not want to do that. He decided to stand there, staring at me and say I could sit here all day. After standing in silence for what seemed like a couple minutes, staring me in the eyes, he finally said, what do you hope to accomplish. I said that his behavior was not OK and that I was not going to tolerate this kind of disrespect from someone who I am paying to stay at their hotel. He continued to berate me and said that he would then call the cops if after he trespassed me. He then kept telling me that I need to go into the office and then I had five minutes when I went into discuss it with the rep at the desk. He followed me in continuing to berate me. When I was walking out the door, he said, “go back to your dead end job” and when I approached my car, he said “You're just angry because you can only afford a sh!tty car like that and can't have one like mine”
Air conditioner did not work in the first room and heater did not work in the second. On the day of my checkout the cleaning service arrived early did not speak English and had to use their phone to translate.
Front desk and housekeeping are very helpful and courteous with great attitudes did a great job with accommodations we will be staying through the remainder of the month great job surestay thanks for the stay
Perfect and comfortable safe and secure excellent breakfast and staff is extremely helpful caring and shows genuine concern I've never had an issue at this location and would recommend it 12/10 anyday
The pillows sucked the bed hard. The outlets don't work unless lights on all night. The parking lot lights up your room so you can't sleep well the light shines through the hallway door. You hear people doors etc.. the shower rod fell off when touched. Terrible terrible Hotel!
Was OK, LOCATION was great, not happy with the bathroom-no grab bar in shower, drain took a LOOOOONG time to drain, felt like the bottom of the tub was very slippery(could have used a mat, used a towel to stand on), bath floor had a dampness to it, no exhaust fan
Do not recommend. The room was full of stench. Carpet was sticky. Bad odor inside the hotel. Hair dryer did not work. No ventilation in bathroom. Mold in the restroom. There are other better options around this location for this price.Never staying here again.
Stayed for a business trip, very polite staff, property was very clean and a lot of updates to hotel are being made. Brandy the new housekeeper was great, she works very hard, goes above and beyond.
This hotel was a short Uber ride away from the CVG airport and the conference venue I went to every day. The wifi worked really well every day during my stay. The breakfast was very good with cheese omelettes, sausage, two waffle makers, plenty of fresh coffee, muffins, donuts, cereal, and other things. There were a few things that needed to be fixed in the first room I was in, so I communicated these things to Niki and Drew who were very helpful in getting me into a different room that was great. I also liked how they had a gym so I could get my daily workout in every morning. Overall I'm satisfied and would stay here again.
Best place in town I love I love it I love it the employees the breakfast the beds everything is perfect including the price I recommend it to everyone and hopefully you'll get to experience it the same as myself
There is zero ventilation in the bathroom causing black mold to gather on ceiling. The carpet was constantly damp and bed skirting dirty. No breakfast on last day of stay due to electrical issues. Mold stains on light shades. No TV remote, had to ask for one. I probably wouldn't visit again.
Excellent staff! Very kind, and welcoming.every time I saw a staff member they made sure to ask me if I needed anything. I appreciate this in a company. The breakfast was delicious. I plan on coming back
The good: The bed was comfortable and we rested well on our one-night stay. The toilet seat had a slow/soft closure so it didn't slam down. Breakfast included sausage gravy and biscuits. Always makes me smile. The bad: Only offered a second-floor room because the first-floor rooms were being “renovated”. Stairway was steep and narrow; no other way to get upstairs. We were in an end-of the-hall room and when viewed the hallway from our room I was reminded of the scene in The Shining. The hallway was very narrow. I mean one person only narrow. It is never a good thing when a property is mopping-up water from the floor. Fans ran all night upstairs as well to remove the dampness in the air. The ugly: there were some electrical safety issues that I noted and left at the desk. The main issue was there was no cover on the outlet which supplied power to a lamp, the microwave oven and the refrigerator. There also was a problem with the outlets on the lights between the beds. I couldn't get my medical device to work in the plug so I had to move the bed out a bit to get to the outlet behind the bed. The window sill was dirty which made me wonder. Carpeting was well worn in the hall and room. All of my complaints and concerns were left at the front desk when we left. I am a loyal BW property customer and stayed because of that. It was an overnight and I have been in worse (non-BW) properties. Lot's of work to be done IMHO. And maybe the Buddha on the front desk is a bit much.
I stayed there to be close so I could visit the Ark. The breakfast wasn't that great some stuff cold. Place doesn't have an elevator, so you have to lug the suitcases up the stairs. Didn't seem very clean to me. Pretty sure I won't stay there again it was the lowest price hotel around and close to the freeway a few places close to eat.
Clean rooms for the price paid. They are really focused on making sure your stay has no issues. Breakfast options were great. There were many restaurants options recommended by the staff. I enjoyed the aesthetic of planes flying above every few minutes
The hotel interior is run down. Chipped paint in the stairways with grungy carpets. The smoke detector was not working in our room. The bathroom sink and shower didn't work correctly. The only good thing was that the air conditioning worked perfectly.
They staff and front desk employees were amazing. One manager was not. He tried to tell us that you cannot leave your pet in the room unattended. I'm sorry but if you are traveling on a vacation you cannot take your pet to everything you want to see. Tried to say the city had an ordinance that you couldn't leave your pet. Threaten to call animal Control for neglect.
Other places were booked out lbut surestay staff members ensured we had our room booked at a reasonable price on a day where there was a commotion for rooms in a hotel with hot breakfast and clean rooms.
Staff was friendly . Offered all help that they could with local directions. Housekeeping was done well. It feels like I can stay here on multiple occasions and continue to get the same quality of experience.
Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Fast internet. Friendly staff and cute colors in the rooms. So many items in the breakfast to choose from eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausages, fruits. Convenient location from stores and Mall.
DISGUSTING, people in and out all night long. Loud music, ROOM WAS AWFUL DIRTY, SMELLED like smoke and dope. THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. Pictures they show are not real pictures. We had to get a new hotel .
good for an overnight stay while passing though the area, older building that is being maintained well. Little rough looking on the ouside when we drove in but the room was clean with nice a/c on hot humid summer day. Internet was excellent
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. No dust, white towels, sheets, and comforters. Air conditioning worked well. Refrigerator and microwave were remarkably clean. Staff was very welcoming. Would recommend!!
There's a huge bedbug infestation!! Disgusting! Horrible!! Unless your wanting to burn your clothing and risk being infested avoid absolute avoid this place I have pictures and videos of this nightmare
The quality of this hotel, as compared to Best Westerns in general, was sub par and the price was too high. There was some sort of community outreach program at this hotel, which was not apparent when making the reservation, nor when I checked in. The staff did what they could to make our stay acceptable, but it wasn't possible given the cirmcumstances.
For the price you pay things were just fine. Staff was helpful. Will probably stay again if I go through again. The place was clean looks like a few updates have been done. I would probably recommend here for a quick overnight stay.
The bed was the only thing. Bathrooms, carpets, dirty, hotel rooms (we had 2 stink.) hallway smells like smoke. Breakfast - limited and hard biscuits. No protein. Inexpensive - but not Best Western Quality.
I was traveling, so I did not have time to google the reviews. After getting to the hotel and then reading the reviews, they were all mostly correct. As a lot of the reviews had mentioned there is a strong weed smell when you are in there. My bathroom was not properly cleaned and the carpet was dirty. The price was right and the bed was super comfy, but I would not stay there again. The reviews have been the same for the last year or so, and nothing is different, so I am going to choose to find another hotel. The girl at the desk was really nice and helpful though, so props to her.
Horrible. Place Stunk, was dirty, breakfast really sucked. No juice, no waffles, no biscuits, no milk. Worst hundred bucks Ive ever spent. Next time I sleep in my car before I stay here. KEEP DRIVING!!!
The staff here are all amazing. Dru always has a smile and is very accommodating. Patty and her husband are sweet and work hard to keep this place fresh and clean. Madison and Hannah will do whatever it takes to keep you happy in the night shift guy Dustin I think his name is he's always got a smile on his face too
The hotel was old and needing much renewal. Hallway carpet replacement In progress and the workers are noisy very late. Room was musty smelling. Bathroom seemed dirty. Almost no breakfast choices. Sleep was interrupted by loud music from a nearby room until after midnight. Also a barking dog interrupted sleep at 4:40am.
This hotel is not safe and smells like cigarette smoke throughout the entire hotel. Definitely not worth the money. People were knocking on the walls and doors at 2a in the morning. I asked the staff multiple times about getting air fresheners and I never received any. Face towel had holes in it and the carpet and shower were so dirty I couldn't put feet on the floor.
The hotel has a great location with friendly staff. The room was adequately furnished and clean. There was an bad smell upon entrance to the room...don't know what it was. The carpet is the hallway could use a cleaning or replacement. The breakfast is lacking, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. This is an older motel, which has its positives: it is well built and the walls aren't paper thin like the newer places. Therefore, you an sleep without hearing people in the hallways or the other room.
Staff has been great to help me with anything. Breakfast could be better if there were more options. Internet is slow. Room was clean and tidy, carpet needs shampooed. Water pressure is awesome. Will definitely be staying here every time I work down here.
The room smelled so much like smoke that it was like being in a room with someone smoking. Which surprised me because it is a nonsmoking place. It is an older place that has not been kept up too well. Everyone was real nice. I guess the saying stands true, you get what you pay for and the rates were good.
It was like walking into a homeless shelter NO KIDDING I was extremely frightened I called B/W customer service and hopefully am getting my money back because I did not stay. The place was so filthy, disguising and horrible odor. 7-8 large bags of Trash in front of the door as you walk in
They have renovated the property since I was last there and it is so much nicer. The service was excellent and everyone working was friendly. The continental breakfast was way better than it used to be and the rooms were really nice
This stay was well worth the Money ,our Room was very nice and well furnished the Stay was Excellent all around ! we had to ask a few Persons for Directions , It would also help to get the Exit # on the Interstate .Thank You H Goeller
No elevator, so plan accordingly. Had some maintenance issues and had to change rooms. Maid service didn't happen the first day. Bed were super comfortable!! Breakfast we hit or miss. There was no butter to be found, we had waffles, toast and oatmeal we would have used it on. Only 1 waffle maker, the guy in front of us made 3 in a row, so we had quite the wait for that. Toaster does not pop up on it's own according to the sign on the wall. Didn't do toast due to missing butter.
I felt like I was in the movie The Shining as I walked down the dark, dirty, smelly hallway to the room to the first room. I opened the door and before I even crossed the threshold the smell of mold slammed me in the face. The second room had five hairs on the small portion of sheet that was exposed, I didn't take it further, that was enough. Also the once white towels were filthy gray. The attendant couldn't do anything for me other than suggest another hotel an exit away. And then they still charged me for my room.
no TV for 2 Days, still waiting for credit, was told the Manager would fix the issue but did not get any credit. I am sure many people did not like the Dogs disturbing with Barking and whining at night. We will not be back.
The room was filthy! Carpet was dirty & sticky. Dried soda from previous guest was on the wall. Toilet water ran unless you jiggled the handle. Breakfast wasnt a full breakfast as stated. Waffles and cold items. Comfy bed and hot shower were the only pluses.
This place might be acceptable for a young single guy who is just looking for a place to crash. The issues that my family experienced here were: Broken TV, leaky toilet, urine all over the bathroom floor, broken hair drier, smoke oder throughout the hotel. It's sad as this place has so much potential.
This property was disappointing. The bed appreared clean and was comfortable. Hotel is dirty and needs cosmetic and maintenance attention. The breakfast was poor. The staff was great. Not recommended.
With 40 minutes of checking in, we requested another room since the first one was so filthy. The second one wasn't much better, but it didn't smell quite as bad. I used a wet towel to wipe down the surfaces in the room and bathroom—the towel was filthy front and back. I took it to the front desk and they apologized. The TP holder was loose on wall, the coffee maker was broken, we did not get clean towels by the 3rd day even though we left the tag on the door requesting them. The breakfast was packaged junk food, marginal customer service, noisy, and did I mean the damp/smelly rooms. we were there for the Ark Encounter, and even though the weather was gorgeous (mid 70s), I got a sinus infection likely from the dampness in the room and bad smelling AC. I cannot remember EVER staying in a worse room. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, or ruin your vacation.
I stayed over the weekend with my children and someone who worked there had rented someone I didn't no the same room and they walked right n claiming that was there room I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe because of a mistake they made what if something further would of happened and they weren't very professional nor clean would not recommend
We booked and PREPAID for a handicap accessible room. We got a room on the second floor and THEY HAVE NO ELEVATOR! The owner said in email that this was our fault for having booked a hotel with no elevator. Yes, I kept the message. Outrageous!!! Avoid this place! The location and price might be nice but the service, attitude problem of owner and lack of cleanliness with a lousy breakfast will ruin any trip over a single night. They also don't bother to answer potential customer questions either. I just got an answer 2 months later to a simple question about breakfast. Only thing hot when we stayed was toast and the coffee and it was weak and odd tasting.
unfortunately because it was the jazz and rib fest no other hotels were available I have never experienced a hotel in this condition before. The carpet was filthy Upon checking into my room I noticed that it had not been properly cleaned and had an odor already running behind on my way out I let the front desk staff know that they had my permission to send someone in to clean and they assured me that it would, but that never occurred. I arrived back late and was tried upon inspecting more of the room I found food in the refrigerator handprints on the headboards some type of substance in the bathroom sink. I came down early the next morning and let the staff know again and asked to speak with a manager and a staff by the name of Drew said “no you can't what do you need” I asked about the cleaning policy because my room was never cleaned he said he would get someone to clean or compensate for my room by 3pm I was so confused so I'm paying to stay here my room was suppose to be cleaned before checking in and now I have to wait this is absurd. He didn't care he wrote down an email address and gave me a card I came back from my outing and my room still hadn't been cleaned. This was my very first time coming to Cincinnati and I have stayed at many Best Westerns before and this was not my experience this hotel needs a survey conducted on cleanliness and mannerism. I have attached pictures and a video. I understand that people need to make money but this we as humans should never be so concerned about money that we allow people to be treated in such a manner that shows a lot about someone's character.
Room was nice and clean -basic amenities which is what was advertised. Hallways smelled (it seems that perhaps owners/management live there and their cooking permeates the hallways). We were grateful to obtain the last available room, but it had only one bed, thus requiring our daughter to sleep on the floor. I requested a blanket (twice) for our daughter. Management would not provide...front desk were very kind but their hands were tied. Management felt this was not required -an extra expense on their part. It is understandable management wishes to turn a profit...but seriously??? Can't even provide an extra blanket. I didn't even mind the homeless man that showed up in the breakfast area (police and EMS arrived to deal with the situation)...but to deny our daughter a blanket when she was sleeping on the floor? I clearly explained this...so a generic answer from management about not knowing the situation, or "thanks for your concern...we will try better" falls short of a genuine response.
We stayed 2 nights at the Sure Stay & was the first time staying at a Sure Stay. The rate was excellent ,the staff very very friendly & helpful. The room was adequate, the beds comfortable but there was only one comfortable chair & no table to sit & enjoy your coffee. The carpet in the hallways smelled like smoke & the carpet in the room looked dirty but did not smell like smoke. The jury is out on where we would try another Sure Stay.
Best Western is our hotel of choice when traveling, but this location didn't live up to our expectations. It's quite rundown and the hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though there are no smoking signs posted. The room itself was okay, but again, just not what we've come to expect from Best Western.
I was looking for a nice, yet affordable hotel for my partner and I to stay at on our way home from vacation. This place popped up for us during our search and I decided to stay since I'm a Best Western Rewards Member and am always looking to stay with them. For the price, it was everything I was looking for. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and they offered complimentary breakfast. I always liked how easy it was to hop over to Cincinnati, OH to check out some great restaurants and shopping options. If you're needing to stay the night in Cincinnati, OH or Florence, KY... look no further! This is a great optin.
Musty smell from worn out carpet on stairs & hall; room not cleaned in 4 days despite requests, phone didn't work, biscuits & gravy only breakfast, no towels provided, overheard staff speak of thefts.
Room 146...lights were inoperable, shower only sprayed halfway, shower was either cold, or scalding....no medium. Beds were weird, and hard...mattress was on top of a sheet metal platform, super hard and uncomfortable. Dirty bathroom.
Happy with room and bed. No cable, none. Phones to front desk, did not work. Bathroom needs intense cleaning. Breakfast, while good, was not well stocked and kept up. Front desk staff at checkout was clueless and my guess is these will surely not be addressed.
The smell of Urine and sewer filled the hallways, it dose not appear that any effort at cleanliness is attempted. My stop at this Hotel may keep me from staying at any BW brand hotel again. I am not sure this building could be saved a complete tear down my be needed
We were traveling between Tennesee and home, and just needed a comfortable overnight. Surestay is a simple, just right amenities for a traveling just overnight room. And the price was less than other more luxurious rooms. Tamara was VERY helpful as we were on the road and on the phone with no internet. Thanks Tamara!
I enjoy the hot breakfast and the house keepers are awesome Dora... customer service is awesome they will do anything to help. Need more of these in America. It's smoke free absolutely...appreciate it.
My room was very clean and it's in the middle of everything and the staff was very nice I can say this it's been a long time since I stayed at a hotel and it felt like home I will prolly stay here if I am in need of a hotel from here on
Firstly, for being a smoke-free hotel the smell of cigarettes / weed consumed the entire place. In addition to this, we arrived back one night to the entrance doors wide open, the hallway hazy and a burnt smell throughout. Someone mentioned the fire alarm may have gone off. Other guests were loud in the hallway, directly outside of our door and the parking lot well past 3AM. The bed is terribly uncomfortable and the bathroom fan (turns on with the light) is very loud. Lastly, you can see outside through the edge of the AC unit, which also contributes to hearing people in the parking lot very well. Honestly, a polished turd. But, it's not the worst and may be adequate for others. Not worth the price for what you get either.
The rude staff Heather It wasn't even on the premises when we arrived and was very rude and did not offer a room, Even though I had a confirmation number she said I did not and there was nothing she was going to do about that I even called Best Western main office they called her she just told him I don't have anything for her but she could probably be charged for it she does not need to have a job there someone needs to fire her
Was sent to a room at the end of the hall that had no power no phone & the beds were not made. Once we did get a room the bed was made but had hair in it. Was not happy & hope this issue can be met soon for future renters.
Booked through southwest. It was supposed to be near the airport. It was 15 minutes. The room was dark, had roaches, phones were broken. The staff was the best thing about the stay. There was a nice mall nearby
Had to go looking through the hotel for someone to check us in, saw roaches on the wall, unvacummed floor. Breakfast was lacking. I asked for help figuring out best transportation options to mall and was told by front desk worker "I don't usually work the front desk". Stay elsewhere, much better options in town like the Best Western
There is only 1 accessible room. Person in wheelchair unable to use microwave, coffee maker, and fridge due to the fact they could only access half the room. Toliet difficult to use as grab bar was located behind it. Manager very friendly and listened to concerns.
Beds were awful I think Fred Flintstone made the mattress. Bathroom doors don't shut, no bathroom fans. The room itself was nice looking the hotel inside was pretty worn down. staff seem to be Friendly but not good with phone conversations.
This location would be the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at. I've been traveling the past two weeks from Ohio to Florida. Staying at Best western properties four times in the past week. The hallway and room carpets are very filthy at this location, two of the icemakers were broke down the toilet in my room 211 is leaking water onto the floor. The room and hallway has a strong commercial sanitizer smell. Breakfast here consist of microwavable sandwiches apples/bananas and yogurt the pancake machine is broken. I would definitely look elsewhere next time decided to stay because I was exhausted by the time I reached the hotel.
I stay at a lot of Best Western Hotels, this one was at the bottom of the list. This was bought out by BW a year or so ago. Before putting their name on it, they should have painted it, replaced the carpeting, cleaned it up
You're not going to get anything fancy while staying here. I honestly made a mistake when I booked our stay. It's a hotel room….for cheap. Our room was nice, everything worked, the bed was comfy, the shower worked just fine. That's it. Don't expect much and you'll be just fine.
I stayed at this hotel on the 14th of September. When I checked in the staff was amazingly helpful and when I checked out I was able to speak to the general manager who was very invested in knowing I had a satisfactory stay. The rooms were nice and my room smelled amazing. The manager said they had just shampooed the carpets.
This hotel was an old dump. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, mildew in the air conditioner which caused a horrible smell and by the morning a sever sinus headache, dirt and badly patched walls, wet carpet. Hallway carpet and walls were filthy. We had made online reservations and front desk person argued that we did not and then finally they "popped up". The room key did not work, desk manager had to open room and then it had not been cleaned, she blamed it on the nonenglish speaking house keepers poor communication skills. I cannot believe Best Western has their name on this hotel.
Accommodations were very Spartan. Bathroom was small. King size bed had three pillows. Bath had two full size towels. Continental breakfast was your choice of Jimmy Dean Sandwich or instant oatmeal. Computer in business center was not working. Our room was clean.
Entire place was filthy. Floors and bathroom definitely had not been cleaned in awhile. People yelling up and down the hallways all night. Entire room smelled like mildew and things were damp. Didn't even replace someone else's used toilet paper rolls that were almost gone. When we first checked in we were given the keys to a room that was already in use by someone else.
Rude and lied. Dirty hallway, very dirty lobby bathroom, blood stained sheets on bed, we only checked in one minute, they refused give money back- called KY Health Department due to unsafety and unclean the managers and front desk rude
We didn't stay it was that bad! I requested a refund which I did get the next day. Staff was friendly. Lobby was decent but past that it was horrible! Now elevator. Stairs to second floor were dirty, paint was peeling . Same with hallways were dark & narrow, doors & carpet were filthy. Horrible smell. Room smelled.. carpet filthy! Walked in and right back out. Requested a refund and found another hotel!
Outside of Hotel/motel is very dirty hallways are dirty and the rooms need major repairs. This is a horrible Best Western. Front desk help is never around or friendly. The whole place is very dirty. Hallways and the rooms need major repair on the ceiling tubs, and the walls.
Oh my god what a horrible experience this run down location was! Smells, dirty, no elevator so you have to carry everything up to the second floor. Breakfast was a joke, shows the type of owners that are super cheep and will not give the guests anything of quality!
This hotel is mediocre to average at best. The front desk person was fairly lackadaisical at checkin. Once we were checked in he asked us to enter through the door halfway down the hotel, which was fine with us. The problem was our key did not work on the entry lock. We went back and told the front desk clerk our key would not work and he told us "well, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't" with no offer to do anthing about it. His response also indicated the hotel was aware of the issue and had done nothing to fix it. The next day, I went to exchange our towels as we typically do not wish room service for a short 2 day stay. The owner/manager was just nasty and slovenly, and had no people skills I could see whatsoever. I didnt know if he understood at that time or not but when we returned there were new towels outside our door. The only ggod thing was the location which was close to the attractions we wanted to vist. In short, not a hotel I would recommend.
The hotel room was disgustingly dirty. The comforter had pee stains, the sheets were dirty, the room smelled. The towels had pubic hair intertwined in them. The carpet was torn, dirty and had dog food strewn throughout. The sink had long hairs. The shower head sprayed everywhere. Checkin was delayed and a nightmare. The front desk person, Nancy, was wonderful.
The hotel is an old place that has had some metal siding placed on it to try to dress it up. It looks like it may have been an old Motel 8 or something. The whole place needs to be replaced. It does not feel safe with the clientele having their doors propped open like they were open for business or something. It is not safe for families.
The first night the TV in my room stopped working and I was told maintenence was coming to fix it then later that night I was told they couldn't do anything until next morning. Then finally late next morning someone showed to fix it. Other than that I had no other issues.
The pay TV channels were not working because of the weather supposedly. The Heat fluctuated where sometimes it did not stay hot, the rooms are very small the bed was very comfortable and the room appear to be cleaned well. The price was suitable for what you expected nothing spectacular and the hotel does need some renovation on their doors from the outside.
This has got to be one of the worst places I've stayed in. From people loitering around outside all the doors to an absurd amount of mold in the bedrooms. The hallways make you almost feel in a sketchy drug apartment complex. Even the outside doors don't unlock when using a keycard. You had to go to the front door every time you wanted to go inside. The sink faucet hangs about and inch over the sink so if you plan on washing your hands, you have to jam your hands against the bowl just to get them wet. Shower curtain rods mounts are peeling off the wall and holding on by a thread. Upon checking in our room was not even ready to start things off on staying here. If you plan on staying at this “Hotel” save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a hole in the wall that doesn't deserve to still be in business. With the money they bring it, it sure doesn't seem like they use any of it to maintain the upkeep. Very disappointed
Old hotel/out dated, needs updating and repairs. Hotel does not look or smell clean. Roaches in my room. Roaches came from hole in the wall behind the toilet in the bathroom. I would not stay at his hotel again or recommend it to anyone else.
Beds were not comfortable. Lots of people milling around and had doors open to their rooms.... felt unsafe. Had people outside asking me for help.. outside doors were propped open with rocks... worried about my car getting broke into.. slept awlful
It has it was very comfortable and friendly. Has a washer and dryer. Fitness room, and all the amenities that can be included for business or pleasure stay. Decent price and convenient location. Be prepared for high prices deposit
We had to stay here Bc of Covid at first it was great then the room got mold myself and my girlfriend got sick. They only offered us a $20 discount. Really??? Then ac leaked water all over. Cops started showing up every night for people. It was crazy. The only thing good was the housekeeping. They are amazing!!!!
I had a pretty good stay, food was close by, I only stayed 1 night. The front deck was quick to check me in, i desperately needed a nap for sure. I was worried about the loose shower curtain , if maybe it would fall off the wall.i slept great.
If I could give 1/2 stars I would rate this place 3.5. Stayed two nights at the end of July 2020. I was on a budget for this road trip and decided to stay at the lowest priced place in Greater Cincinnati that still had decent reviews. You get what you pay for. The place is decent ... the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy, the towels fluffy, the shower massage has good pressure, and everything worked! Other things I can praise about SureStay is there are dozens of restaurants nearby, good location near the highway to Cincinnati, and the lady at the reception was so sweet and friendly and very helpful. However, understand this is still a basic budget motel. The room was tiny. Unfortunately the long narrow hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes. As perhaps the only reviewer who makes note of motel architecture I will say that this possibly the UGLIEST motel I ever stayed in. Looks like a straight line of those long shipping containers. The warped vinyl siding was really cheap looking. A no frills budget place ... but the price was right!
The rooms were clean and amenities was great. The beds were well appointed. Bathroom amenities sufficient. For what I paid for was incredible. Rooms had a big screen flat t.v., microwave oven, and a nice size fridge. I wasn't expecting that but it was a bonus and convenient. Location is perfect if you visiting both Cincy & Lex for which reason I picked this property. Established fast food restaurants abound in short driving distance. In fact, you could just walk down a street to KFC and LJS. This property is very well worth it. Cannot comment on breakfast as due to the Covid pandemic, a baggy was your only option. My only other complaint, hallways smelled like cigarettes but the rooms were fine.
My family and our dog stayed one night passing thru on our trip. We had no reservation called late at night and the night hostess was so incredibly nice and friendly. No problems at all , room and hotel was clean , updated and Very nice. We will definitely stay again. Great price.
We had a good experience considering the price we paid for the 4 nights we stayed. The hotel is close to the airport (CVG). The people at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hot breakfast was not served but there was a grab and go bag every morning available for guests. There was also coffee available for guests interested in it. The room we stayed in was cleaned everyday. My only complaint is that we could hear people talking in the hallway as they walked past our room, as if there's no wall. Overall, it was a good experience.
I spent two nights with my wife and 2 kids over the July 4th weekend. My sister lives down there and it was a great location. It was clean, the help was excellent, and they were always there to help! The price was beyond reasonable and I would be more than happy to stay there again! I had a great experience!
Good price, rooms are remodeled but not so great. Room is small compared and smelled really musty. Hallway is so narrow and reminds of college dormitory. The door doesnt shut by it self, so that you have to close it yourself. Curtain have cuts and holes and molds on wall top of curtain. Bathroom caulk is cracked and coming off. Hair on the side desk, bed makes weird noise like something broken on the bottom. Also, you can hear everything on the hallway, even other room. If this room was inspected by the inspector from best western, this room would have not passed. How I know? I used be a general manager at one of the franchised property and certified GM.
Well, I must say that I might have turned around if I had come in at night. Looked like a large double wide trailer and could not decide where to enter. However, the lobby was fine and desk people great. The room was way above expectations. Clean, comfortable, new furniture, etc. Very safe area with plenty of everything around it. Had my wife and daughter with us and all was great. Very, very good value if just want a good place to sleep. Heading back that way in 2 weeks and will be staying there. Don't let the initial looks scare you.
It was close to the highway and cheaper than the other ones around. The bathroom was dirty with dead bugs and hair on floor and towels had stains on them. Parking lot was dark and doors not clearly marked. Seems very dated and tired hotel. Hallways felt dark and narrow spend the money and stay somewhere else you will be glad you did.
Not bad for the price. No hot breakfast due to COVID-19. Animals allowed was a plus for me. One light bulb was missing from the bed stand lamp. Exterior outdoor wooden stairs are old and in need of repair. Over all not bad since is at a great location and clean.
Stayed here end of April so was very concerned about covid-19. Room was very clean and I felt safe. Reasonably price and clean. Was quiet too. Breakfast was not served because of virus. Was traveling with a dog also which they allow. Would stay there again.
Nice room, had just what needed. I was treated fairly. My self esteem did not suffer. Lest I be ashamed. It's not that serious but they're asking for at least 200 characters so here you go. Damnit. Sheesh. LOL
Hotel with excellent friendly service is always available to help the customer very clean the room good food service especially good price if you want to stay here to be near the ark of noel in Kentucky here is the perfect hotel
An older hotel, but clean and comfortable. The staff is eager to please and is friendly. The breakfast is adequate. If you are expecting luxury you will be disappointed, but for a reasonable rate, this place is a good choice.
this place is very nice,, better than i expected for the low price.. clean , comfortable, the people working there were pleasant and helpful, the bed was comfortable , the internet was strong and tv had plenty of channels,
About 15 minutes from airport. The building was an older motel style building that has been refurbished. It was very clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Hot eggs, sausage and pancakes for breakfast. We would use again for a quick overnight stay.
Old travel lodge. Skinny hallway that smells unclean. People sleeping in cars in the lot. No security and a few sketchy people about. It feels like a place where the Sally Ann sends homeless folks. Do NOT try to use rear emergency exit. Stairs from the second floor are broken. the fall would kill you if you were not hanging on.Just say no unless you absolutely have no where else to stay. We stayed cause it was 5000 points. Maybe that should hve been a hint.
Very clean and updated hotel, especially considering the price. For value focused clients, a great find. My wife and I were looking for a convenient economical place to stay enroute from Ontario to Florida, and couldn't have been pleased with this option.
I am a single mother of 2 girls and we have been staying here for almost 2 weeks now. It's the best hotel in town at a great rate. Everyone is very nice. The room is always cleaned and new towels everyday. The breakfast is amazing eggs cereal gravy biscuits bagels etc. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed!!!!
I arrived at this hotel after a long day of driving, and to be honest, for the price I paid, I was not expecting too much. Boy was I surprised. When I checked in, it was almost 3am. Dana at the front desk was so cheerful and helpful. She gave me a free upgrade to a king room and even helped me with my bags! She should be commended for her commitment to customer service. At 3 am you are lucky to find someone at the desk and awake let alone have them go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I travel through this area often for business and I will definitely be coming back! The rooms are newly renovated and the beds are super comfortable! Thank you Dana, and thank you Sure Stay for such a great stay! I will be back!
Last week we moved long distance and sure stay Florence Kentucky was one of our stops. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed during our stay as we had pets with us (a cat and a small dog). Our room was very nice and everything in our room was in good working order. It was quiet there and we were able to get a good nights rest. Overall it was a good experience but the only thing I was disappointed about was the breakfast. We arrived towards the end of breakfast and even though it was still during breakfast hours some of the food had already been put away and there weren't very many options.
We stayed at this hotel as a halfway point on a road trip. It was clean, staff was friendly and the price was super cheap. It also included breakfast. We were so happy with the value that we stopped on our way home as well. This is not an upscale hotel by any means but for $60 a night it is definitely good value.
The front desk girls Carole and Dana are super friendly. They treated me like family and made my stay much better. I also loved the breakfast! The room was completely renovated and very nice. I will be staying here every time I am in the area!
The sure stay has been the best hotel we've stayed at ! It's honesty I recommend this hotel to all travelers and couples . Me and my fiancé have had a great time here , rooms are perfect and cozy ! Breakfast is amazing and all workers are caring and loving !!
Wife, a Grandson and myself made our 2nd trip to the Creation Museum this weekend from NW Ohio. We booked a room at SureStay Hotel Florence a couple weeks ago. What a treat! Room, CLEAN and QUIET with a comfortable king size bed and 4 pillows! We slept nearly as good as we do at home even in a bed other than ours.. Access from I 75 SUPER EASY, (Big green sign 100' in the air!) Staff-super FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Breakfast (eggs, toast, biscuits, pancakes, sausage gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, 3 different cereals with milk and coffee) all free, fresh and good! An exercise room with treadmills and stationary bikes. Ice machine just down the hall. Parking was free, plentiful with many handicapped spaces. We really liked this motel and the town. FOAM WARRIORZ is a great place to have fun with kids. Anyway it was for us. They will sleep good! NEW CATHY KITCHEN was the best Chinese food we have ever had.
Great value for your money. Decent, clean but dated room. Nice flat screen TV and fast Internet. Literally less than 1/8th mile from I-65. Easy and quick off and on. Overall decent continental breakfast except for the awful tasting scrambled eggs.
Nothing fancy, cheap stay and was clean. Needed a place just to sleep for 1 night while driving through. Beds were ok and clean sheets. Place is dated and we did not eat breakfast there. Was not much for breakfast there.
I got this through a discount and wasn't disapointed, The clerk made the check-in very easy and gave me a room with easy access from where I parked my car. The bed was very comfortable, The bath was great with all I needed and the wifi worked great. The breakfast had eggs, gravy, bisquits, pancakes and the normal contential fare. All-in-all a very good stay.
We stayed here on our way to Florida. We had no hot water at all! We were given two different excuses why not (staff doing laundry and working on outside water) but were not offered anything to compensate for the inconvenience. The front desk person said that she was not authorized to do anything but would tell the manager. So far, we have not received any communications from them. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was fair, not great.
The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, and the FULL breakfast was great! Hot food was actually hot, and cold items were actually cold! It was a home away from home. The only negative was there could have been firmer pillows or at least a few extra.
Dog barked for hours, was offered another room at 3:00 a.m., would pay more for customer service, stairs are steep and narrow, bathroom very old, breakfast was not worth the “complimentary”, person with barking dog was treated better!
We checked in (2 rooms) on Friday Dec 20 at shift change, one lady at the front desk zipper was down the other reeked of cigarette smoke, a third behind wall was talking loudly to family member on cell phone (awkward) wanted me to ‘sign here' saying I read the room/hotel rules without seeing them—and I had to ask what those were. We briefly went to find rooms, checked for bed bugs, then left to return about 10:30pm. TV ddnt have a signal - FD said someone must have messed with it. We unplugged it checked connections, etc—still no tv. Quit trying and went to bed. Beds were very high- at 5'3” hub had to help me get into it. 6am woke up to hub yelling about roaches in bathroom! Unacceptable! Called my relatives in adjacent room and told them to check their bags and shoes and we are leaving! FD man was already dealing with another guest who was complaining knobs were broke off shower faucet. When I told him about tv and roaches and my CC gettin charged for room I pd cash for and not getting a receipt under door for one of my rooms —he ddnt have any comment or resolution or even an apology, but said that GM would be there in 10 min. We waited. Meanwhile, didnt even go into breakfast room—looked full and not very big when we walked by—not trusting food with roaches in hotel anyways. GM arrived-very apologetic-gave full refund-and sd she was shutting down room after I showed pics. Also was giving ‘extra BWR points' but never received yet nor original regular pts for the 2 rooms rented. Duplicate chrge on CC took 4 days to drop off. Used cash refund to goto Waffle House. Location to shopping mall, Ark Encounter, food places was good, but still paranoid one of those bugs could have hitchhiked home with us. If you dont mind roaches—you probably would have been a better guest than I and gave a higher rating and a better review.
Great breakfast, great rooms, great service! Safety wasnt an issue. And room service is on top of it. Beds super duper comfy as well. My kids loved the pancake machine, we have never seen that before.
Very nice clean hotel and newly remodeled. Would stay at again for sure. Front desk was efficient and quickly took care of our tv when it would not find a channel. Woukd appreciate breakfast until at least 19.
I enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good I liked the pancake machine and the other choices. They are doing some work so can be a little noisy at times right now but overall good hotel.
Very nice motel. My wife and I were on vacation and stayed for 2 nights with no issues. It was clean, great amenities and managed well. Staff were all friendly and willing to help. The Desk clerk “Nancy” was of the utmost help and should be commended for her service. The motel was in the process of remodeling, but nothing that affected are stay, to me, it shows there willingness to keep things the best that they can be. Going to be a fabulous place to stay, highly recommend!!
We needed a place to stay till we were able to relocate. We decided to choose Sure Stay as our temporary home. The customer service we have received has been excellent. Nancy, Carol, and Jessica have been very helpful during our stay. Thank you
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Price reasonable. Good location. Hot breakfast option, not just oatmeal and cold cereal. (biscuits and gravy one morn and eggs and sausage 2nd morn). Staff was great. Looking forward to going back and taking grandchildren to visit Cincinnati area.
When we made reservations we asked for a room on the bottom floor, side by side or close together and 2 queen size beds. When we arrived they informed us it was never documented about any of our requests. So we ended switching rooms in the middle of the trip and then them telling us we was incorrect that it wasn't posted on there website about two queen beds. That they only had two double beds. The rooms in either time were very dirty as far as the overall the room being kept up. We will not be staying here again. The only part of our hotel that was pleasant was when we switched rooms we left a gun in our a room and we expected to never see the gun again and the staff did turn in the gun which was very much appreciated we did tip for that.
I have been staying here for the last 8 years on my way to Texas. In my opinion it had been going downhill, but decided on one more chance. Glad I did. Rooms have been updated. TV reception not snowy anymore. Good job Best Western. See you next year!.
I want to start out by saying I'm not a “hotel snob” I don't care about nearly anything except things that disrupt my sleep, because that's what I got the hotel for. The lobby is very deceiving as it's very nice. The room smells suspiciously like cat pee, not sure if I'm hoping it's actual cat pee, meth or mold. The blankets, sheets and pillows on both beds felt slightly damp. If we hadn't gotten in at 1am i might have asked for another room. I didn't realize, however that we are next door to the “fitness room” (a regular room with a bow flex looking thing in it) and we began hearing the very loud clanking of weights at 5 am and it continued until we gave up at 7am. Choose another hotel. I made a mistake.
A good location for transit hotel before catch the early morning flight. The room was clean with good internet conection. 2 fast food restaurants (KFC & Arbys) and gasoline station near by perfect to fill up the gas before return a rental car.
Road trip - Overnight stay - clean, quiet, non smoking, cold mini fridge, good microwave, working outlets and USB ports and reading lights on both sides of a comfortable king sized bed. Wireless and breakfast both quite satisfactory. Clean bathrooms. All at a decent price point. Amanda at the front desk was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Quite satisfied and expect to return.
5 night 4 day trip with my daughter to see the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Excellent location between the two popular attractions. The front desk staff also were prepared with preprinted directions for our excursions.
The breakfast bar was a huge disappointment. The beds comfortable, room clean, however the refrigerator was not clean. It had liquid spilled on the shelf. The ice maker on our floor was broken. Mold on bathroom ceiling was cover with paint.
We stayed one night, bed was comfortable, room average and clean. Breakfast was simple, cereal, pastries, juice and coffee.Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. It's not the Hilton or Marriott, but we would stay again.
Loved that the motel was close to the Ark Encounter, restaurants, mall, and the interstate. The breakfast wasn't very good ...very little to choose from and the coffee tasted like sludge. Our room was clean but the hallways and outside the motel wasn't kept clean.
Bad!! Not very pleasant. The reception area was clean and looked nice. Going up to second floor the stairs were filthy dirty and the smell of cigarette was very strong even tho it's a non smoking room. When I opened the door of the room it was like entering to a cheap hotel in a corner. Beds undone, chairs on one of the beds, broken table legs on top of the tv station, tv on the floor, bathroom was discussing with dirty towels on the floor. Carpet on hall way was also disgusting dirty. I was given two king bed rooms since there were no other doble queen beds available. They looked much better that previous one. I went to wash my hands and the faucet lifted up from counter. Apparently they glued it like 30 minutes before we got in room because is not fixed on bathroom counter top. My son saw a beetle flying around in the room. I'm definitely it having breakfast here after seeing how housekeeping is not being done properly and does not look very sanitary.
Excellent location situated equally between the two parks. Great continental breakfast, bed and bathroom. Room was clean and serviced daily! Professional can-do attitudes amongst staff and front desk personal!!! We got a great deal on hotels.com! We left them with TWO high-fives!
Was at the NASCAR race at Kentucky and stayed here. Clean rooms, good beds, nice staff and perfect location (30 mins drive to Kentucky Speedway, also close to Cincinnati, KFC and Arby's right next door). Overall very good experience!
I took a quick weekend trip to Ohio and stayed here the first night I arrived since it was a late flight. It was perfect! Clean, easy to check in and next to a lot of things. Perfect after a flight from California. I highly recommend it.
The owner of this hotel needs to have a serious staff meeting,a serious update through the whole property. I suggest closing this property and renovating inside and out. adding new bathroom with marble sink tops does not improve the property. Health and well being for your guest should be priority number #1. I hope the owner will take serious measures before the health department shuts this place down. As a person who has held positions in both Best Western,Red Roof,Inn and Holiday Inn, this was a very disappointing hotel. Best Western representatives needs to go and do an inspection,so to not damage their brand name.
The staff was very accomidating and friendly. Very helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing. It felt like home on the road. I would stay here everytime i travel to this area
The room was very clean though the carpet had a few worn spots. We all slept great as the mattresses were very comfortable. The swimming pool was very nice-the granddaughters loved it!! The breakfast offered something for everyone.
a little disappointed in the breakfast options however it is a pleasant stay and room was very comfortable. rather centrally located with many restaurants nearby. Easy in and out access with exercise room open 24 hours.
I was very disappointed in the hotel. It started with the reservation. I had requested a first floor room since I read they didin't have an elevator and I cannot climb stairs. They overlooked it and gave me a 2nd floor room. I got the room switched. Around 11 pm someone was trying to get into my room, they knocked and opened the door at the same time as they said something unintelligible, good thing the chain lock was on. I yelled, "the room is occupied!" they closed the door and left. I immediately called the front desk and the desk said it was a hotel employee and they didn't know whether or not the room was occupied, I gave him my last name and he said ok and hung up. I would have thought they would have called the room first. I went back to bed and about 10 minutes later the front desk called me and asked my first name. Seriously? I'm sure I was the only one in the County with that last name, they didn't need to wake me up a second time to get my first name. So much for getting some rest. The beds were very hard and slanted downward at the head. The ac was extremely noisy, it looked like one of their new units too. Everytime it kicked on it woke me up. It was a miserable night's sleep. The shower did have good pressure and hot water. The towels were like 80 grit sand paper. The bathroom was very clean. The toilet should have been in a kindergarten classroom, it was seriously very close to the floor. I don't think I've ever used a toilet that short since I was 5 years old. We went to breakfast about 8:30, I wish I had gotten a photo of the "breakfast" they provided. The hotel's website clearly said hot and cold breakfast. They had a couple of muffins, 3 packets of instant oatmeal, 3 cereal towers - 2 were empty, and some apples. I saw a lady who worked there in the hall and asked her about the breakfast since it stated 'hot and cold' and she said "only cold" I said 'there's nothing out here" and she stated "only cold" again. I seriously don't think she could understand english although she clearly practiced the "only cold" line. Evidently I wasn't the first person she had to say that to. We went to sit at a table to at least drink our coffee and the top of the table wasn't attached to the base and it fell off. The photos on this website are NOT of this hotel, it's very deceiving.
We only stadyed one night. But the stay was pleasant. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pursure and temperature. The coffee sucked but the hotel is near everything which made my coffee issue quickly resolved. Going to book again next month.
Most things I had problems with would probably have been an easy fix.. First, toilet wouldn't flush for the wife. She fixed that by reconnecting the little chain. That went over well. But it worked fine for the rest of the stay. The AC cycled on and off and never reached set point even though it was moderate temperature outside. Neither key worked the morning we left which required us to prop the door open while we hauled stuff down. Hallway carpet was pretty unpresentable. When we got to the room the first day, there was an obviously big dog in the room across the hall that didn't think we should be there. On the other hand, the girl at the desk when we checked in was very helpful. Recommended a few places and also got us a room for early check in.
The exterior is clean, but rather old looking. Upon arrival we were disappointed that we had made reservations here BUT once inside we were blown away at the Upgrades & Cleanliness of the whole interior. Now very glad we came here. Perfect, no problems.
Nice, remodeled hotel. It is the same layout as what it used to be. The owner and staff are really nice and ready to answer any questions we have They noticed we had an infant and offered a pack and play
This hotel has bought out travelodge, and is a little more expensive. Newly renovated rooms are clean and up to date. The check in clerk was very accomodating. The breakfast was adequate with a fair number of choices. Would stay here again.
Towels and linen appeared brand new. The room smelled fresh. Front desk staff very friendly. The only drawback was plumbing issues for the continental breakfast. They had no water to make the batter for waffles. I got breakfast elsewhere. It was nice to have Taco Bell and Colonel Sanders within walking distance when I got there. I had enough driving for one day. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I would stay here again except I have no plans to visit the area in the future. Giving 5 stars regardless of missing waffles.
Very impersonal experience at this property. My ID and CC were not checked violating all security procedures. The room was decent, but bed seemed to be made very hastily, I found an almond on the floor from a past guest as well as a lot of dust. The carpeting was also very lumpy and not lain well as well as some stains. My boyfriend found hair in the shower so I refused to shower after that. We only stayed a night and were running around for wedding festivities. I felt also just based on my check-in experience I would not really get anywhere with what was wrong with the room. As well as I did not trust any other room would be better. Again it was a fine bed to sleep in but I definitely don't recommend this to others or stay at a sure stay again.
Ick. Yuck. A new coat of paint does not create a decent hotel. Bloody handprint on the bathroom wall. The whole place reeks of cigarettes. Open space around room door. Walls so thin they are almost non-existent. Pay more and avoid this place.
This gem is a must try been totally remolded inside all new appliance you get at the higher priced hotel outside is deceiving cause it looks like older siding not well put on but it is worth every penny and staff is awsome and no cockroaches in this one and they clean everything beds are very comfortable
We made reservations online but when we arrived the front desk couldn't seem to find it. No problem as there were rooms available. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the stairs were filthy and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The hallway reeked as well although there were no smoking signs on the room doors. We arrived at our assigned room only to find that it was occupied. I never did see the inside of their rooms, but can only guess that they were as run down and dirty as the rest of the hotel. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
They lied about the availability of wifi while I was on their wifi to other customers. Furthermore the property was not clean. I had problems connecting to the wifi about halfway through our stay. I could connect, but only in the lobby. I would come to the lobby and use the wifi, but while in the lobby I overheard them tell some customers that wifi was down even for them. No it was not I was on their wifi 15 feet from them.
When I reserve a room for less than $60 a night, I don't expect the Hilton, but this property goes beyond the pale. The lobby was filthy and insect infested. We were fairly certain that this property only exists to accomodate desparate truck drivers, drug addicts, and low-rent prostitutes. It took at least a half hour to check in the gentleman in front of us. I used to be a front desk manager in the bc (before computers) years and it NEVER took us that long to check in a customer. When it was our turn to check in, I was told that our RESERVED room (1 King, Accesible) had been given to a stayover. When I was given a new room, the desk clerk had the balls to charge me more money than what I had reserved the room for. Again, that would never have happened at my motel. I don't care if you have to give the customer the penthouse, you DON'T charge them more money than the rate they were quoted! I was too exhausted to argue anymore so we took the room...on the second floor, no elevator, with me being handicapped and unable to climb stairs easily. If we had been given the room I reserved, we would have been on the first floor. When we finally got to our room, the toilet looked as if someone had taken a buttload (pun intended) of brown paper towels and stuffed them in there. I say that's what it looked like because I dared not venture further into the bathroom to explore it anymore. We went back to the lobby and demanded my money back. It took another half-hour for the desk clerk to achieve that amazing feat, including a phone call to what I guessed was his manager. There should be no question about a refund after the way were treated...just back the charges off my credit card! Even then, the desk clerk had to make things difficult because he would not give me a receipt showing the charges were voided. I would never recommend this property. Do as we did and stay at the Baymont down the road. It was much nicer and only $10 more than the Travelodge. The $10 was well worth it!!
Travelodge Florence needs renovation. The floor had dust around the edges. The breakfast menu was mostly starches. We selected it because of the price but were disappointed. It did provide a couple humorous moments, when we discovered the TP dispenser was less than 1' above the floor (for short people) and the light between the beds had switches for each side, but the switches were crisscrossed.
The exterior and interior of room were filthy. Stayed for 1 night and it was questionable at best. Lights and outlets non functioning. Behind bed and furniture there was significant dirt (beer bottle caps, piles of hair, dust etc). Box springs disgusting, stained walls, moldy smelling bathroom. Only speaking for room 140 but would not stay here again for the price.
