"Stress-less!"

Prompt, friendly, professional, caring! All the staff was awesome. Rooms looked a little dated but very clean! Breakfast was better than pretty good! I'll definitely stay again! Pretty area and fairly quiet!

"Beware - Needs upkeep"

Blaze S, Vancouver 12/08/2019

Really scratchy sheets and lumpy pillows + loud AC makes for a difficult sleep. Numerous items have "temporary out of order" signs (e,g. hot tub, dryer, guest computer printing stations). Smells like an old casino. Not up to Best Western standards I've experienced elsewhere.

"Plus ? Never it should be a minus !"

After 12 hrs on flight and getting through immergration we expected to be able to ring this hotel for the complementary shuttle bus. No number available on the airport display board. Phoned hotel direct no answer, phoned another BW hotel who tried to contact them for us, again no reply. We had to get a €44.00 taxi. When we arrived at hotel explained our frustration to be told "I'm on my own so too busy to answer the phone" we asked for reembursment for the taxi "we don't have petty cash" not the sort of welcome to America we had anticipated ! Room very outdated and in need of a total revamp. Bed strangely too soft with the most lumpy square pillows. The only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast and the checkout. We cancelled the two nights booked at the end of our holidays as we refuse to throw good money at an inadequate service. Horrible experience.

"Should have stayed somewhere else."

The room was okay at first. However at bedtime we tried using the phone to make a wake up only to find out neither of the two phones could receive a wake up call. They offered to switch rooms. But we had already had our things unpacked. Buttons were missing from one phone.Used tooth brush was laying above the top of mirror in the bathroom.Earlier in the evening I went down stairs to lobby to use the computer to print boarding passes for following am. None of the three computers were able to connect to internet. I reported it to desk and was told that they would have someone fix it.After a while, one of the computers was connected to internet. I tried to print my boarding passes. After trying twice and nothing happened, I went to desk only to find out, the printers we're connected to internet. The lady at the desk let me use the desk computer to print off the passes. The print job was so bad the Delta gate agent had to reprint them. We had requested 2 to go breakfasts for our 4:30 shuttle. Yeah, your right if you guessed they weren't ready either. I hope I never have to stay there again.

We stayed here three nights while visiting Seattle, it was reasonably priced and the rooms were large and nicely furnished. The staff was great, the FREE breakfast was one of the best I've ever had! This hotel has everything you need, a self serve laundry that's open all night , a bar and an indoor pool and workout room. My kids loved it.

Nice clean room. Bed was a bit hard. Room temperature was adjusted easily. The desk staff were friendly and check in was easy. Snack availability was limited. However, staff told me of restaurants in the area. The restaurant was closed. The room had a weird unpleasant smell. Other than that it was a great stay. I try to use BW whenever possible. It is not a BW premier and those sites are very nice with perks!

Overall, not a bad hotel. Efficient, friendly check in. Fantastic breakfast experience including hot foods, made to order omelet station and milk alternatives, comfortable beds. Negatives: not enough towels or washcloths for number of people. When we requested more towels they said there were no more due to no laundry personnel for several days. Overly HOT hot tub (I've never not been able to get into a hot tub), and when reported we were blown off. No towels, and foul smell in areas of pool. The room lacked function with supplies, no blankets nor pillows for couch bed. Carpet had a slight funky smell like a wet dog. Good free shuttle to airport.

"Deceitful and not as advertised"

1
stevendspivey, Washington DC, District of Columbia 15/07/2019

I don't leave reviews very often anymore, but this experience needs to be addressed. Breakfast was very good. However, they have strict policies here, such as must show a ticket to eat breakfast and we are keeping inventory of things in the room. Unheard of for Best Western. The biggest concern is the airport shuttle. They do have a shuttle that runs upon request. However, front desk staff seemed reluctant to schedule me for some reason. One time was to go to the airport to take the Light Rail into the city. Manager came out and told me that "they don't do that." They did give me a ride to the airport, but I was told to take a bus back from the city in which I was unfamiliar with and then come back to the hotel, which was another 1/2 mile walk. If I didn't find out about the bus back, it would have ruined my vacation, as I wouldn't have been able to go downtown since I couldn't get back. Luckily, the people at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Seattle pointed me in the right direction to the bus. When I told manager that I usually had no problem with other airport hotels dropping me off, she stated it was their policy "on their website." I checked the website - not there. It says airport shuttle 6 AM - 12 midnight and local shuttle. I am now reading on TripAdvisor that others that have stayed at this hotel have gotten airport shuttles to pick up rental cars, etc. Something seems a bit off to me. I called twice before I got to Seattle to ask about the airport shuttle (by the way, I usually had to call multiple times, as they do not answer their phone). The driver that picked me up from the airport the evening before and the front desk clerk (both were very friendly) did not say a word when I said I needed an airport shuttle to catch the Light Rail. If I would have known, I would have cancelled my reservation, as this hotel does not fit my traveling needs. I always stay near the SeaTac airport because there is no need for a car in downtown Seattle. Overall, the guest room was okay - bed was hard, you can hear the highway, and hotel seems to need lots of updating. I certainly won't be using this property again. I am hoping this review helps someone else who is traveling on a budget in the Seattle area and needs to get around using public transportation.

"Clean and comfortable with a little noise!"

4
NatParkTravelers, Alexandria, Louisiana 05/07/2019

We stayed with this BW on a Friday night and then on a Saturday night the following week. We found the attendants at the front desk to be courteous and efficient. Our rooms were clean and comfortable; however, since we were given rooms facing the interstate, we did experience a certain noise level from the traffic. Thankfully, we travel with a white noise device which alleviated that problem. The A/C fan in our first room (722) made a loud whistling noise which disturbed our sleep. I reported this to the front desk; hopefully it has been repaired. The breakfast was a step up from normal. It had cold and warm items and they even had a courteous attendant fixing omelettes' upon ones request. We did have the opportunity to use the hotel shuttle from and to the airport and they were also good enough to provide me shuttle to Avis car rental. We were very pleased with the drivers and scheduling; however, I do have a hotel suggestion for those, like myself, who are unfamiliar with the layout of the Seattle airport. Being very tired after spending time all day in flight and airports, we arrived at a late hour to an unfamiliar location. Calling the hotel upon arrival, a little more detail would have been welcome about finding the pickup location for the shuttle; we received very vague instructions and we did have difficulty. The next time we are in the area again, we will consider staying once again, although I will request a room on the backside of the hotel and better instructions on finding the shuttle.

I chose the hotel for its convenience to the airport. They offer a 24 hour shuttle from the airport to hotel. The staff was exemplary with few exceptions. The breakfast was great, they offered the usual fare and had an omelet station which was a nice change.

BrianH736, Tring 02/07/2019

Stayed on business for 12 nights and asked in advance on booking for a quite room due to length of stay. Was given a room at the front overlooking the interstate and above the extractor and air con units with a view of the carpark. Not quite. Hotel unable to move me until about 4 days before I left. A short stay would have been fine in the room I had, but a long stay, i checked out after 5 nights and checked into another hotel. I did try with the road and fan noise. Room wise, the 1 bed suite is a good size and well equiped. The staff are friendly, the bar some where to relax, plenty of local restaurants and bars around the area and reasonable breakfast selection. Get a room at the back if you can.

"Convenient location"

4
jxnmom, Pacific Northwest 15/06/2019

There were 5 of us, including two children, so chose a two bedroom suite which included a small kitchenette and sitting room. The A/C units worked very well in the bedrooms and kept us at an even temperature all night. Everything was very clean. Only complaint on the room was that there were only two bath towels (had to go get more) and two packets of coffee for 3 adults. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable - so hard I woke up with a back ache several times. Good news is the front desk reports they are getting new mattresses very soon. The breakfast choices were very good, including cooked to order omelettes, mini waffles, cereals, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, etc, etc.

"Not what I was expecting"

3
User 04/06/2019

I stay at Best Western a lot and this one was not as nice as where I have stayed in the past. We had a room on the seventh floor and when we looked out the window we could see a homeless camp where people were sleeping, hanging out and drinking and using the bathroom all in view from our window. Needless to say the view was not good. The hotel itself was clean but once we got in our room we found several pills on the floor right in front of the fridge which was a little concerning to me because we were traveling with a child. I requested an extra pillow and towel upon check in and was told that one would be sent up, it never arrived. I called Housekeeping and was told the same thing but again nothing showed up. Employees were nice but the service was lacking. Location is right off the freeway which was convenient but there is a large homeless population in the area so beware.

"Stay Away-random charges added"

1
mtdad, Kalispell 26/05/2019

The customer service at this hotel was not good and it can cost you. We arrived after a long flight and the night desk clerk was non-responsive. Once he finally acknowledged us, things only got worse. Despite having a confirmation code from a popular booking site, the clerk had trouble finding our reservation with both rooms. Eventually, we thought we had it figured out and got our two rooms which were supposed to cost $121 each. When we arrived home, those charges were on our credit card, but so was a strange charge for another $202. When we called the hotel to inquire, we were told that they couldn't find the charge in their system, so our only choice was to challenge it with the credit card company. Now, we are filling out paperwork to try to resolve their error. I am disappointed with the service at the point of our arrival and their inability to fix the issue. I rarely write negative reviews, but this is a hotel I would stay away from.

YorkBites, York, Pennsylvania 15/05/2019

I travel A LOT. I get to see lots of cities and stay in lots of hotels. Recently I've made several trips to Seattle and have chosen to stay at the Best Western in Federal Way. Primarily due to the proximity to the local office I visit when I'm there. It is close to the mall, food places, a church and the highway that takes you to the airport, Seattle or Portland. The area like most of Seattle areas these days have loads of homeless which is a shame. But the rooms are clean, the bedding and towels are done up each day (and if you are green they will let you hang and reuse your towels). My favorite bit is that they offer a great breakfast buffet which includes made to order omelettes. They have a full restaurant and bar, but honestly it's rarely used and the one time I tried to order dinner they were closed due to lack of business. Sad that. There are some issues, like the front automatic doors wouldn't open all the way and the parking is far from the entrance. But again, a very clean place. I still choose to stay here even with other options just across the street.

""Handicapped" - Only Part Way"

3
TheCheerfulGivers, Battle Ground, Washington 03/05/2019

We have stayed here before, but it was quite a while ago. We like the easy access to I-5, a lot of restaurants to choose from, and shopping nearby. We have to have an accessible room, and we were happy to find a wide entrance into the room and plenty of easily- accessed plug-ins for medical devices and charging mobile devices. The bathroom was large with a roll-in shower with shower seat. I was shocked, however, to find a regular height toilet! I discovered this when I sat down and felt myself fall several more inches. It hurt. We stayed there 2 days, and every time I used the toilet my husband had to help me stand back up. It was frustrating. I don't know if all the rooms were like this. We stayed on the first floor, in the room on the right just after the women's restroom.

"How does a hotel NOT have towels?"

2
Ambassador755740, Santa Monica, California 22/04/2019

Stayed for 2 nights in April for work. Been here before so I am well aware of the worn & dated look to this property. What I didn't expect was that I would return to my room after 15 hours away working and have NO TOWELS! When I called the front desk the gentleman told me he'd send some up. I went downstairs for water and saw one of my coworkers at the front desk, also asking for towels. The same gentleman was telling her they had NO TOWELS. First, why would he tell me he'd send towels to my room and then 3 minutes later tell her there were none? He didn't seem too concerned. I was sharing my room with a coworker and we had just one towel between us - that was there from the previous day. Additionally, our beds had been made but the room was not cleaned. Empty coffee cups from the day before were still there and the trash had not been emptied. Upon checkout I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was not in but the clerk said she put detailed notes in our file and the manager would call me on Monday. It is a solid week later and I've heard nothing. I was charged the full rate for 1/2 of the service. The lack of concern paire with the lack of response is quite incredible.

I was a nice hotel located between Seattle and Tacoma. The rooms are nice and spacious. We could still hear road noise even though we're on the backside of the hotel. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of options, waffles , omelette station and other choices. The staff are all nice and helpful and we stayed here several days. We used their guest laundry facilities . Be careful in hall beside laundry area-because people get out of the pool and walk in the hall and get the halls very wet.

"Owners squeezing every penny out of this place"

1
musashiSanFrancisco, san francisco 01/03/2019

Stayed here after a cancelled Sea Tac flight. Although advertised as an 'airport' hotel, it is far from SeaTac and has infrequent shuttles - after waiting more than an hour we were asked to give up our shuttle seats to a young family. Tired, we took a cab which cost $50 +. The facility is old, dirty and badly maintained. This site allows pets - we saw a few small dogs relieving themselves in the stairwell -the owners wiped it up with room towels - the carpets in the room were smelly and stained. The mattress pad smelled of sour milk and vomit- the sheets were thin, old and pilled. One elevator is still broken (it has been mentioned in several reviews - so this is an old problem). The large plate glass in the hall window is broken and mended with yellowed scotch tape. The night clerk at the front desk (wearing ripped jeans and neck chains) gave us the wrong room key. Our Seattle friends tell us this is a well known hooker hotel. I was so disgusted with this hotel that I sent a letter to Best Western central management. Their response was to credit our account with about $50 worth of Best Western award points - obviously Best Western management sees no need to maintain any sort of brand standards and is just squeezing as much $ as possible out of their facilities.

My husband did an express check in the evening before we were to arrive. We checked in at the hotel at 4:30 pm to be told our room was not ready. We went for an early dinner. When we arrived back to the hotel we went for a hot tub. No towels in the pool area. My husband went out to the lobby in his swim suit. He was told they would bring us towels to the pool. By the time we were done. No towels. Soaking wet my husband went back to the lobby to be given a dirty towel. The manager arrived with towels in hand a few mins later. Now up to the room. One elevator out of service. No wifi. My husbands worked. Mine did not. I was told to re boot my phone. No wifi. I had to purchase an extra data plan in order to keep in touch with our children ( we are from Canada). We next tried the shower. No hot water my husband quickly rinsed off in luke warm water. The drain backed up and the tub was full of hair. GROSS. Bathroom fan did not work. Not a very pleasurable stay. Will not stay at this best western again. I emailed the manager Jim of this federal way location. No response back or apologies for the stay at his location. Poor customer service.

Overall, the area is great. The hotel room was clean and bright, and the staff were courteous and helpful. My HUGE issue was the shuttle picking us up in the morning. I called the hotel in advance to make sure that there was a shuttle running, I was told to just call as soon as I got my bag and walk it the designated area for pickup. As instructed, I called after picking up our two large suitcases. Confirmed it and we waited about 30 minutes in the designated area that is not convenient to get to with suitcases. Oh, by the way, it was 20 degrees. We called again only to be told that there was no shuttle driver but midsentence we were told yes there was on on the way, and we needed to wait for pickup so we waited and waited. And it warmed up to a balmy 22 degrees. Needless to say, it was a bummer to have to have waited so long in freezing temperatures. Breakfast was pretty generic but the omelette made up for what was lacking in the breakfast food offerings. The omelette was perfectly made and quite delicious. We ate two dinner meals there and they were delicious. Our second dinner, although tasty, was uncomfortable for us because there was a group of cheer moms obviously intoxicated and very obnoxious. They were rude to the hardworking bartender/server. She handled them nicely and was NOT rude back to them. To top it off, one elevator went down for 2 days we were there so the single elevator had to service a hotel of cheerleaders, their parents and a large swim team. That meant a lot of waiting. It was unfortunate. But, there was hot cocoa and coffee available after getting in from the snow. That was a nice touch. I'd really need to weigh out my other hotel options before selecting this best western again.

Clean and friendly. Shuttle to Tacoma Dome and back was such a huge plus for us, coming to a show from out of town!!! Not many hotels offer that any more!!!! Their restaurant/bar server did not show up for work so they offered to shuttle us to dinner with a discount at the restaurant down the road. Other people on our shuttle said they had been shuttled around town for shopping and sight seeing! We will use this hotel for sure for the next show! Full breakfast also a great addition!

We stayed for an extended time at this hotel. Good service, good staff, friendly, clean good housekeeping. We liked this hotel. The room was quite comfortable and the bed was just right. Except I did not care for square pillows. The breakfast was good as well. So was the front desk staff person. Although it is at a very good location close to a mall and to the I-5 freeway (right next to the interchange), the entrance is not easily found unless you know where you are going, or have a gps.

Beds are slabs of rock.....terribly uncomfortable. We thought it was just the box spring. And the coffee maker did not work. The fridge is noisy and the windows are thin. Since I have to keep writing until I get to 200characters, I will tell you that there is not a comfortable chair to sit in.

I was traveling with my toddler to visit friends in Seattle and the staff was extremely accommodating and generous. I was upgraded to a suite for a very reasonable rate, and everyone was charming and tolerate to my energetic little handful! With a pool, free full breakfast, Trader Joe's and great little playgrounds nearby, we had all that we needed for a relaxing couple of days. It was a great way to save money AND not destroy my friends' apartments!

I'm a frequent traveler and only stay at Best Western because they are consistently a better quality and have comfortable accommodations. I chose this place because we were seeing a concert nearby and this stay was rated as a Plus. The rooms weren't ready until 4:45; the room wasn't cleaned and had black hairs in the shower;we were only given 1 bath towel; the pillows were lumpy and very small; the bed was uncomfortable;we had a surprise charge for a deposit at the time of checking in that WASNT stated at the time of making the reservation. The staff verified that I wasn't informed when I showed them my reservation. The nice receptionist was very helpful but other than that, it was not a good stay and I won't be back to this location.

We were given a room near the freeway, NOISY. When I asked to be moved on check in the front desk staff did not care and tried to sell me up! The window unit did not work and clunked all night until we finally shut it off and listened to the freeway. I would not recommend this hotel. Stay at one of the new hotels in the area.

The airport shuttle pick-up was a 15 min wait & the driver, Mike, was very friendly. The check-in was quick with efficient & friendly staff. The room was big & clean. The bed was comfortable with pillows that were better than most hotel pillows. The room, #811, faced I-5 but the noise wasn't noticeable & one of us is a very light sleeper. Complimentary breakfast was really good with made-to-order omelettes, waffle maker, cereal, plenty of fruit, & many other items for a big breakfast. Everything was well stocked & clean. A short 5 min walk to Red Robin which is part of The Commons, shopping & restaurants. Hotel has a complimentary shuttle within a 5 mile radius, very handy & appreciated !! The hotel restaurant has good food & the waiter/bartender, Greg, was very friendly. We walked to transit center for a bus trip to Tacoma Dome for VetsAid concert, which was a wonderful 5 hour concert. After the concert at 11pm we walked to Best Western Tacoma Dome Hotel & they called for a shuttle back to our Federal Way Best Western. Jonathan the driver arrived in about 20 minutes & was very friendly. We so appreciate everyone at the hotel & the included shuttle. Thank you for making our trip to Washington a memorable one!!!!!

The hotel was in a very convenient location with many shopping and food options a short drive away. We had a two bedroom with a small kitchen. The breakfast offerings were above average and there was a lot of space for people. Being in Federal Way, there is no airport shuttle, but since we were renting a car, this didn't prove to be an issue.

Like to say first of all that this was a wonderful stay. Unfortunately I am a diamond member with Best Western and asked one upgrade and the room I was upgrading to was horrible one bedroom suite which is supposed to have two TVs one in the I guess you call the living area and one in the bedroom. Some people would say what's the big deal but want to sit on the couch and watch a little TV with my other half in between going out and doing things. and there was no TV, stains in the carpet in the bedroom and the living room. clean the room up and this would definitely be a wonderful room. Great day overall Hotel was awesome service was good Lobby was clean everything was awesome except for the room.

This Best Western has alot of little extras that others do not have. It could use a little updating but overall it is a great hotel. This is the second time we we have stayed here and would stay again. The breakfast they offer is much more than any other BW we have ever stayed in. Since our last stay they have added a omelette station where they actually have someone make an omelette as requested. As for the location it is perfect. For we took the clipper to Victoria and even though we had to drive 15-20 miles to the pier we had no issues. We just made sure we left early and had plenty of time to get there. There are 2 casinos within 8 to 9 miles of the hotel. There is a mall across the street with various eateries available. We would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay.

Stayed one night. Conveniently just of freeway, yet no noise. I think BW+ should have real glasses in rooms - not plastic. Manager quickly intervened to make a requested rate change to my reservation. Pillows on bed not quite what I have come to expect from BW+, all 4 a bit too firm.

Booked a room and parked a vehicle for a week trip. Told they had 24 hour service to airport. Called at 3 to tell them we would arrive in Seattle at 8. Desk clerk told us to call upon arrival and assured us that we would have no difficulties. We made said phone call and we're told they don't pick up after 8. Had to get a cab back to hotel to get our vehicle. Booked at another hotel for tonight. Won't do this twice.

I love staying here! The shuttle is reliable from the airport and the breakfast and restaurant exceeds my expectations! The staff are excited to be there for you and management lead with care! I have stayed here more than five visits and each visit has its on own moment of awesomeness. The location of the hotel is prime. First of all, I need to say, we need a handicapped accessible room because my boyfriend uses a motorized scooter. If you've ever tried to find a hotel room without a reservation, you know what a problem this can be. So we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Best Western Plus in Federal Way and met Diana at the check in desk. She arranged for us to get the last accessible room for us and it was perfect; roomy and comfortable. We had dinner that night in the lobby/dining room, very nice. We both slept very well and the next morning enjoyed the complementary breakfast. How nice to have the omelet station, it was great. I can't say enough for how friendly Diana and the rest of the staff were and how great the room was. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in Federal Way.

1
User 15/07/2018

They despise the disabled. They called the Federal Way rentacops to illegally evict me when I asked for a late checkout because they refused to answer the phone and give me the Wi-Fi password. I was so delayed getting out of my overnight stay as a result. I am a diamond member. They also charged me for another night anyway anf the barbarian cops refused to even listen or speak with me. So, the cops assisted this hotel in violating my civil rights and actually I called them for help because the staff had been very threatening with me. I'm consulting with legal counsel tomorrow/Monday over the incident with the hotel and police. So, if you are disabled/woman on your own or anything of that nature, steer clear not only of yhis hotel but also Federal Way because apparently the disabled do not have the same human or civil rights as other AMERICANS do.

"Poorest Customer Service Recovery"

1
tdavies863, Seattle, Washington 29/05/2018

Cold food for our catered event that was not resolved the day it happened and then zero customer service recovery when I revisited it with Hayden, the Sales Manager. He didn't return my call about the incident, merely emailing me and telling me that I should have asked the food be reheated; that if Im at a restaurant, I would let them know to reheat my food. Insulting. This was catering for a group on a meeting schedule and I don't think reheating cold mushy vegetables, cold hard chicken and rock hard garlic bread would have worked. Possibly reheating the pork with the gelatinous gravy would have worked okay. I've scheduled numerous events and this was a debacle. Very disappointed in the lack of service after problem. Customer service is not just how you are when things go right. Things go wrong and how you react to them can create a customer for life. No longer a Best Western customer here. This was horrendous.

The price was affordable compared to some of the other nearby hotels and the staff was both friendly and professional. The room was very clean. We had a nice, big television with a good variety of available channels. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were both clean and fun. The Matrix brand toiletries are one of my favorites so it was nice to have some great bath products available. The area felt safe outside even at night with security diligently watching the premises. My fiance and I had a most pleasant stay aside from the fact that he lost his wallet there someplace which was a bummer but not the hotel's fault. The staff even tried to help us look for it which we are very grateful for the assistance.

Very good hotel. Clean property and friendly staff. Besides the typical hot breakfast items, it was nice to have a custom omelette station. Location is within walking distance to various restaurants within 10min walk. Very affordable AMC movie theater across the street as well. Only thing wrong with this property is the business computer and printers. They need to fix it!

The hotel is a bit dated, but it's nice to have a separate living room from the bedrooms in the suites which is NOT expensive. The free breakfast is fabulous. Made to order omelets, waffles, french toast, meat, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, dry cereal, oatmeal, pastries, fruit, juices, and of course Seattle's Best Coffee. It is worth it to have this breakfast.

We had five children eager to swim; we picked this hotel because it has a pool. However, it was over-chlorinated and unusable. It was irritating to even be in or near the pool room, it irritated lungs and eyes. Should have some amount taken off the bill. Also, for a multi-night stay, towels n the bathroom floor need to be replaced.

vancejm, moses lake 18/02/2018

When we initially checked in the lady at front desk was polite but there was confusion on if if we needed to come back an check in or we were fine till later because our room wasn't ready. So I called an the lady was somewhat short an said we were fine they just couldn't give us a dirty room, which I told her I understood I was just trying to figure out if we need to come back an fill anything out- we didn't. In the morning we went down at 9 for breakfast an there was nothing, so I tell the front desk an she says yes we know an the girl can make you an omelet, but the girl literally had nothing for omelets .. no meats, no potatoes .. so we just checked out an when she asked me an my freind how our stay was - I said fine except breakfast, an she looked at my freind an said “ have a good day”. So rude!!!

"Great for Sea Tac flights!"

5
995bill, Enterprise, Oregon 15/01/2018

If you seek an inexpensive, clean, convenient motel for before/after a flight from Sea Tac airport, look no further. Located just West of Federal Way I-5 freeway exit, this spot is so handy. Prompt free shuttle van to and from airport and, get this, you rent a room and you park free—for as long as you are gone. In our case that was 17 days! We had booked a night for after our return, but our flight was changed and we had to cancel. Not a murmur of complaint and no grief about parking. Shuttle picked us up less than 10 minutes after we got to pick up spot and delivered us to our vehicle in front of motel. Their free breakfast is just fine and since our flight didn't leave til Ten pm, we spent the day doing business and shopping in the area. There is a wonderful Marlene's Market and Deli and other shops in a small mall across the street and a much larger mall just south of Tacoma that includes an REI store and many others. The staff is very friendly and cheerfully held our bags at the motel til we returned, changed clothes in the main floor bathrooms and hopped on the shuttle to catch our flight. Doesn't get any better! There is an in motel Restaurant that looked good but was closed due to a staff issue. No problem as there are others nearby.

Room was clean and nice stayed in a one bedroom suite. Only problems was being on 8th floor apparently there are heating air condition units on the roof that hummed all night. And the jacuzzi tub in our room was unusable do to not being cleaned and santitized. Breakfast was ok but could have been better, there was a station for omelets but no one there cooking them. Lots of items not available nor being replaced. We ate eggs and toast and it was 8 am with two hours left for breakfast. Staff was helpful with our concerns. However did not offer to have them taken care of. This used to be a La quinta inn so not many changes except the name. Overall would stay again but won't be my first choice staying in that area.

Staff was very robotic and unfriendly at check in...seemed like we were bothering them. The lounge was never open...not even on a Saturday eve??? Breakfast was the absolute worst I've ever had at a BW...cold watery oatmeal, dried round hockey pucks called eggs, 3 coffee dispensers always seem to be out at the same time, absolutely no fresh fruit of any kind, and 2 guys who couldn't even wipe tables off, while dressed in street clothes that looked like they partied in them the night before...no name tags, no aprons...just occasionally stocking food that I didn't trust due to the lack of cleanliness. The room was decent and comfortable but I didn't notice a single staff member who even pretended like they wanted to be there...just kind of a weird vibe overall.

cristianCorona907, Seattle, Washington 30/12/2017

I try to keep emotional bias out of my reviews for the sake of remaining professional, but when Nadia caused me to have to sleep out of my car again for the 10th+ day in a row due too her failure to accurately look up my reservation, needless too say I was quite frustrated especially after spending the last of my money with the goals of sleeping In a bed, every other aspect of hotel staff and amenities were beyond phenomenal, what should have been a 5 star review is a 3/5 strictly because of the lack of customer service.

If you need to stay some place with animals this is a great place. Pool was warm as well as hot tub even though the jets didn't work. Breakfast was good. If you come around 8:30 they have hand made omlets. Dinner at Seasons restaurant is a NO! We got our drinks very quickly with pleasant service. It took 90 minutes to get our food mostly which was not edible. Walk across the street to the Ram or Black angus for a much better meal

A frequent guest at this hotel. Up until now, all expectations met; however, this stay in room 123 is AWFUL! Room 123 is not a hotel room, but a conference room serving secondary as a makeshift hotel room. Dry erase board, hideaway wall bed. The “bed” is terrible. We hurt. Cannot sleep. It is 04:52 and I'm awake writing this review. Yes, the nice lady at the desk offered us a new room. Not the point. Moving rooms with all our stuff at 05:00 is like being a homeless nomad. Thus, we did not move. The damn bed is 18” off the floor, the mattress is years past service life, the headboard is a sloped piece of wood. Sleeping in this bed gives us sores. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I bought a hotel room with a queen bed. I received a conference room makeshift hotel room with a queen hideaway wall bed for which a sofa bed puts to shame. CANNOT SLEEP! Nice hotel, but within the hotel, room 123 is substandard. In fact, considering this “bed,” I've had better onboard naval warships and in third world hotels, both not so great beds, but sleeping comfort nirvana compared to room 123. Dissatisfied. No rest. No comfort. Substandard pathetic gheto of a room. Tell me of any hotel of Best Western “quality” and reputation that gives its guests a pathetic wall bed. I'd rather sleep on the floor, in the bathtub, or in any $35 roadside motel. In fact, a Hotel-6 puts room 123 to shame. ROOM 123 is a $34 room. Said is feedback to this hotel, Tripadvisor, and Expedia. [email protected] (360) 547-2904 Itinerary # 7315955717908

"Hospitality with Grace"

User 16/12/2017

The potential is wonderful here. When fully staffed and equipped, I feel fully cared for and spoiled. On their "short-staffed" days, the professionalism, kindness and hospitality was still felt and appreciated even though they were unable to provide the level of service that they so much wanted to. The staff work hard and are very friendly. The breakfasts when staffed and food supplies aren't out were so delightfully wonderful! Only on two out of 6 days were there any noticeable shortages in staffing/breakfast. To that I was grateful. Also, I found that a room temp of 76 was more like a 72 and that 72 was more like a 67 feel. But to make up for the cool air blowing on me from the vent next to the bed they gave me a wonderfully warm scrumptious blanket to wrap myself in and then I was snugger than a bug in a rug. So happy! It was nice to have the fresh air blowing from the vent and not a stuffy room. The vent is a little bit loud though (mine was too loud only when I turned up the temp to 76 or higher), so if the loudness gets too much, just turn the vent off all together and you'll have silence or turn it back down to 72 and it will hum along much quieter you almost don't notice it. Housekeeping was wonderful! They made my bed everyday, gave me fresh towels and kept me supplied with coffee! :) I'm looking forward to my next stay here. Yeah! (Ps. I almost forgot, they also have a work-out room which is perfect for keeping my exercise up while I'm traveling!

we stayed two nights here, the hotel and rooms were clean, the breakfast had lots of variety. Families with children of all ages were here and it was very accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite and it was lovely and had two large screen tv's. The hot tub was clean and relaxing and the pool and area was clean. Although this hotel is right by a freeway it is completely soundproof inside and we had two good night's sleep.

This place was VERY clean (quite important to me). The bed was comfortable and the staff were courteous. What more does one want? It was conveniently located, but I have to say I was a little concerned about the secluded nature of the access. It turned out to be quite well situated to stores and restaurants and the freeway. I will be staying here again.

"Beware of the charges"

3
Jim H, Springfield, United States 27/10/2017

We had a contract with this property and they did not honor it. They repeatedly hassled me for non payment and threatened me about it, even to the extent that they started charging many of our employees without their consent. I checked several times about the validity of our company credit card that was on file and keep telling them that there was nothing wrong with it. They continued to hassle me to the extent that I took part of a day off our business and went to handle the problem face to face. The GM, who was the one calling and threatening me, would not even come to the counter to try to resolve the issue. He stayed hidden away in some back office. After waiting for well over half an hour, the sales manager and her supervisor came out. During that time, the gal at the reception area asked me to repeat the last four of the company credit card on file. When I did, she realized that all of our rooms (well over 30) were being charged to the wrong credit card. When I brought it up to the sales manager and her supervisor, they didn't have an explanation on how that could have happened. They shared our company file with me and it proved that they had made the mistake. I received no apology. When we got our bill when we left, I realized that they were charging us way over what our contract was. We are still trying to correct the over charges.

209rods, Federal Way, United States 26/09/2017

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past year. The Hot Tub has been "Out of Order" all year. The management is too cheap to fix the hot tub by assuming that the guests who only stay once won't know the difference. Well you have lost my repeat business forever. As with any referrals you can expect from me.

"Airport Stay"

3
Tribe93, Manassas, Virginia 24/09/2017

We booked here as it was close enough to SeaTac airport but better priced. Our stay was fine. We had an early departure, but were able to get a quick bite at the breakfast - both hot and cold items. Right next to the interstate so getting to the airport was quick and easy.

"Poor planning"

3
maryloum145, Olympia 17/09/2017

Chose Best Western over Courtyard because they said their full, hot breakfast was included in the price of the stay, and would be served in time for us to make it to a work session early on Saturday morning. Unfortunately for us, the manager had decided to refinish wood floors without adequately planning for the breakfast service. Staff tried the best they could, and brought out coffee, breads and pastries, but there was not room enough to allow for serving hot foods and protein choices.

Rooms was okay. Clean and the bed was comfortable. There was more the enough space for 2 people. We stay at a lot of Best Westerns and have a high opinion of most of them. The breakfast at this hotel was marginal at best and unsatisfactory for many guests. Cold scrambles eggs and diced potatoes, some pastries and toast and a basket of cheap apples. Coffee and water only, no juice and no milk. That was it folks. One family with kids came in and looked at the offering and promptly left. We ate a few bites. We won't be back to this Best Western.

It was a very nice place to stay in a very nice neighborhood. The room was nice, medium sized room. The one big draw back was the elevator the next morning. One of them was not operating and people were trying to get their luggage carts to their cars. Despite this the stay was pleasant. After all who can not have a pleasant stay when you have Mt. The staff is so friendly, rooms are a bit older now, but clean and spacious. Breakfast gives plenty of choices. I always feel safe here which is very important to me. My only complaint would be shower water pressure. I like the tv, the micro wave and the fridge, which.came in the room. My room is very quiet. I also love the location. Lots of places to eat and shop, as well as a nice jump off for things to do.

"Wasn't Horrible"

3
kirstenc842, Bellingham, United States 31/08/2017

Upon check in the staff was extremely friendly. They showed us where our room was and kept the introduction short. The room itself was not as clean as we would have liked. Mold in the bathroom, When i complained they switched rooms but the new room had stains all over the floor and there was a few bugs in the room (the windows were open without screens in them upon arrival). Overall, i wouldn't stay again but for the money it was not a bad experience.

"Friendly staff, free airport shuttle and convenient location"

4
owt_u, Anchorage, AK 22/08/2017

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a weekend trip to Seattle, and stayed here for one night. The complimentary airport shuttle took longer than expected due to construction on the highway, but the staff was very apologetic even though the delay was out of their control. Check-in process was quick, and our room was on the first floor. Room was clean and standard for this range of hotel as far as TV, bed, etc. Room came with a fridge. Noise in the room was never an issue. Omelettes were being cooked as an option for the free continental breakfast. Wifi speed was great. Hotel is located right off of I-5 and near plenty of shops and restaurants of various price ranges. I did not have a rental car, but did not need one as I walked everywhere I wanted to go or took the shuttle. It was about 15 minutes to and from the airport. For the price, I would stay here again if I was staying in the area.

I can't understand why this hotel has 3 1/2 stars? Staff were nice however the quality of the room was far below average. I was very surprised having stayed at several different Best Western pluses in the Seattle area. Room had bizarre beds without box springs, bed skirts that clearly don't fit the bed, no night stand lights, plug- ins that didn't work, stained chairs and a tv that mysteriously lost its volume after a minute (no the mute was not pressed). The people who made the morning omelettes were especially friendly/welcoming. But, unfortunately they could not make up for the uncomfortable beds and poorly set up rooms.

I ordered a two bed unit and got a very nice suite with a sofa pull-out bed. Not real comfortable. The breakfast items were cold - french toast and gravy. Polite staff, but I didn't get an express check-out as they normally do at other BW.

"Excellent choice...especially for a last minute booking"

Good comfortable hotel. Great value! Booked this hotel at the last minute. Wish we had more time to enjoy all that it has to offer. Excellent location to food, entertainment, and shopping. Will definitely stay here again.

Jackie P, Kelowna 13/08/2017

We have stayed here before and love the size of the rooms. We get the 2 bedroom suite and it works great! The area is quiet and the grounds are supper clean. Mall right beside and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Seattle is about 30 minute away which is okay with us as well. My only issue was the wifi. Thank you again for a relaxing stay and see you next year

I stay here 30-40 times a year. Nice little gift bag upon check in and the Hot Tub is always working. Lots of dinning choices within walking distance. The hotel van will take you up to 5 miles away for food, etc. too.

I was in Federal Way for a class reunion, and had reserved a room for three nights. The Best Western reservation system gave me two nights. The front desk personnel told me that it wasn't their problem, and did not find me a room elsewhere. Then there was the room, which was supposedly ADA compliant. A big armchair and ottoman were placed in the room so that if I had been a wheelchair user, I would not have been able to reach the closet or refrigerator. Plus, there is no one available to help move bags from the parking lot to rooms. The breakfasts were nice, if a little greasy.

"Horrible Hotel"

User 10/08/2017

From the time I arrived here it was evident that the staff did not care about their guests ok r their needs. I've had multiple issues and it just seems that they don't care about solving them. I was promised a different room when I checked in. That never happened. The air conditioning broke in my room and they never came and fixed it. Just so we're clear the outside temperature was over 90 that day. None of the request that I made of the staff were taken seriously. This is not a hotel I will ever stay in again. The pros to it are there is a free breakfast and free WIFI. That really is about it. It seems like a clean hitwl, but looks can be deceiving. There are better hotels out there for the money. However feel free to stay here if you feel like being treated bad possibly know how to fix your own air conditioner. Trying to fix it the following morning was absolutely frustrating. They decided to blame me for not wanting somebody at my room late in the evening to fix the AC when I needed to be up early in the morning. It's customer service like this that gives this industry a bad name.

Hotel was very clean , good service, room was nice and clean, good area, felt safe. Good restaurants in the area. It was close to pacific raceway. It was not noisy in our room. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly

Stayed here during a 2 day business meeting. The meeting was at the hotel as well. Large meeting room for 11 of us but could have held more. Bed was nice. I stayed in room 205 and the views not so good. Airconditioning unit outside my window....see pictures. Restaurant and small bar area is nice. Nothing fancey. Free breakfast. Omlets and much more to choice from. Sauage - Oatmeal - cereal - pastries - coffee and more. Rooms ok. Free shuttle to and from Airport. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants including Black Angus and near the Sea Tac Mall area.

The gym could use some improvement; there is only one weight machine and it appeared broken. And there are no cups for water though they had a picture in there. The hotel was very nice overall. We always try to stay at Best Westerns now.

"Great - after room move"

Lisa C, Boulder, CO 16/07/2017

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast had nice variety - but mediocre quality. We stayed here twice - one night at the beginning of our vacation and two nights at the end of our vacation. BOTH times, we had to be relocated from a room to one that had a working air conditioner. Both of the rooms with issues were on the same floor, so my guess is that they are replacing them slowly. We even had someone come to our room and take a look, and they kept saying they thought it was getting colder but it definitely wasn't. Even just walking in the door of the room they switched us to was a HUGE difference in air temperature. Would stay again, but would hope I'd have a working air conditioner in the first room! Staff was very helpful in resolving the issue.

WSUCougWife, Beaverton, Oregon 12/07/2017

We were traveling to the area and had a small Shih Tzu with us. The hotel was one of few that took pets, but only in specified rooms. Our accommodations were just meh, but the carpet in the room was definitely stained in numerous places and made us feel kind of creepy. I would think they could clean better than that. I own a spot bot (but almost never have to use it). They also served breakfast every day in the restaurant downstairs. It was poor, at best. The dried eggs were almost inedible.

I had a very pleasant experience here, the staff was willing to take me anywhere I needed to purchase items after the airline lost my bag. Great place to stay. Please don't place a limit on the amount of characters I need to place here for a review.

4
Cary F, Mineral, Washington, United States 10/07/2017

We stayed her just last night. The location is great just off the freeway - but I did not have freeway noise. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was great. We had a concert at Key Arena last night and did not want to drive all the way home. So we picked this hotel for the location - out of Seattle but not to far. The only thing they could do better was there little store was very bare. The Teenagers I had with me want a snack at 11pm and there was not very much in there store to snack on..

clean, friendly and great side services such as complementary shuttle services to and from airport or anywhere around town within a certain radius. friendly staff. the breakfast choice was minimal but complementary so that was good. they have a in-house restaurant but I did not get a chance to try the food.

Everything was nice; beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful. They changed our reservation for us at the last minute even though they were not obligated to do so. Kids had fun in the pool, but the pool room is hot and rather stuffy. . Breakfast is good for a hotel and fairly varied.

Hotel was clean and staff was very pleasant. The only drawback was that the shuttle should run every 30 min instead of hourly. Also the luggage carts need to be replaced. Hard to push. Very bad condition.

"Free and Fantastic breakfast with omelet bar."

5
adventuresome4777, Portland, Oregon 20/06/2017

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus in Federal Way. Hotel is very close to mall and restaurants. Free Breakfast is a buffet with an omelet bar. Right off highway and close to Wild Waves(about 7 minutes from). Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Hotel is in quiet area with a park across the street. Indoor pool area was clean. Free parking and lots of it. Rewards members get a gift bag at check-in.

I had a good stay at this Best Western. It was convenient to where I was working for a few days, and not far from the airport. It's not a new hotel, but it was clean and reasonably well-maintained. The breakfast in the morning is good with made-to-order omelettes. The room was clean, cool, comfortable, and I slept well. No problems.

Great place for families. Many close by shopping services. We stayed in a room that offered 2 separate bedrooms and had a pull out couch in a living/family room as well as a kitchenette with apartment size fridge. Would return for services offered. Breakfast was great, just busy.

We found the location of this motel a little far for travelling but we did enjoy the quite location. The service was great and the food was a special delight. The traffic was to be expected because it is Seattle and the freeways also always busy. The hotel was helpful for us getting around. thanks for the time spent.

"Excellent Stay"

jaronm344, Saint Paul, United States 14/06/2017

I originally picked this location as it was a bit cheaper than the sky high rates in the downtown area for the two nights I would be in town. Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean room. I had noticed the hallway was looking a tad nicked up when heading to my room the first night. When I headed out in the morning though there were 'Wet Paint' signs posted in that section. Obviously they are trying their best to keep the property in tip-top shape. I was also surprised to find they offered a free airport shuttle service. I'll definitely return to this hotel again if I'm in Seattle in the future.

"Elevator broken for over two days!!"

2
mksantos, Spokane Valley, Washington 13/06/2017

Very concerning when you stay at a hotel with 8 floors and one of their two elevators breaks down. The hotel is in the Seattle area, so there is no reason it was not fixed SAME DAY. Had to wait 20 mins to catch an elevator to check out.

"Excellent staff"

I travel for business and stay in hotels well over 200 nights a year. The staff at this hotel is at the top of their game. They are always professional and really gonoit of their way to ensure you feel at home. Not only do I stay here for business but I even prefer to stay at this hotel on my personal trips up to Seattle.

tiffanyr426, Reno, United States 05/06/2017

Great hotel for families, especially larger families! Pool was busy on the weekend which we expected, but was quiet and relaxing on the weekday. Breakfast was really good with an omelet station, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, you name it, they had it. Staff was friendly and helpful the entire time. TV's in each of the bedrooms and the living/kitchen area. We usually bring a playstation or Roku when we do an overnight road trip, was super easy to hook up, sometimes where the TVs are positioned you can't, but this was great. Nice to be able to bring your own light foods and have a refrigerator (almost full size), microwave, dishwasher and utensils. Fitness center was small, but had nice equipment. Check in/out was quick and easy. Shopping nearby, close enough to walk and better shopping a quick drive. Great restaurant in the hotel and nearby. Theaters within walking distance. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will stay again on on of our monthly/bi-monthly trips to Seattle.

Great staff, very clean room, plenty of pillows (though mattress a bit hard), and free breakfast was amazing, with made-to-order omelets in addition to an excellent buffet. Serving area is a bit tight, so get there early, but staff were very efficient at keeping the food coming.

Went to our 1st Mariners game. Even though it was their 2nd worse game in their history. Very convenient for us to stay here. The kids loved the pool because we had it to ourselves. Clean and the breakfast was good but the person that was making the omelettes was too slow and it was causing a line to back up. Overall, we we're pleased to be allowed to check in early because our daughter was receiving a AAA SAFETY AWARD and we had to be at a banquet and ceremony 3 hours before the game. Thank you.

"Another good pre-flight stay"

4
Elizabeth B, Seattle, Washington 01/06/2017

Another good stay before a flight out of SEA-TAC. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy even though it was only 2pm, and I was able to sign up right away for the 9am airport shuttle the next day. We had to wait 20 minutes for a luggage cart, but the front desk staff did actively try to track one down. My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. I think the fresh omelet station was a really nice addition. I had mine with spinach and mushrooms. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. I would have preferred if the driver hadn't been driving with one hand and talking into her cell phone with the other while driving onto the interstate on-ramp, but we made it there ok.

"Free shuttle service within 5 miles+helpful staffs"

4
DTC_BlueSky, Manila, Philippines 01/06/2017

Our organization have partner hotels within the area so we usually have discounted special rates. I usually prefer Best Western Federal Way among the options because of the free shuttle service within the 5 miles radius regardless of purpose - work or shopping. Another nearby hotel only offer shuttle for airport transfers and ride to/from work. The shuttle service is a huge plus especially if you don't rent a car and considering booking an Uber/cab could be expensive. I love the option for a warm fresh omelet in the morning free breakfast - at the time of my 1 week stay, it was Nora who was enthusiastically preparing it most of the time. The ladies at the reception, Irene, Marianne and Jeaneth were all very gracious and helpful for all my needs. Would definitely recommend Best Western Federal Way for fellow business travelers.

Stuart B, Hillsboro, United States 21/05/2017

Was greeted by a friendly and welcoming frond desk staff, Was presented with a gift bag with snacks and bottle water. Hotel is entirely designated as non smoking. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet just as we requested. AC unit worked great. Lots of Hot Water when needed. Large sized television. Free wifi. Swimming pool and spa in addition to a small gym with very good equipment. The breakfast is better than average including Seattle's Best Coffee and a cooked to order omelette. We have previously stayed at a nearby chain hotel and were satisfied for sure. The Best Western Plus Evergreen Hotel will be are future choice when we are in the area. They do have really nice shuttle vans available to go to the Airport.

"Great Alternative to Seatac Area Hotels"

Great alternative to Seatac hotels, decided to look a little further away and found a better hotel for same or less cost than cheaper Seatac area hotels. Great breakfast, more choices than I could try, had the omelet cooked in the dinning room. Check-in was very fast and staff very helpful. Nice quiet rooms.

Found no issues with this BW except for the bathroom sink hot water only got barely warm. Cut off was open. Did not try the restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to airport with shuttle service. About 20 to 30 minutes from the waterfront down town depending on traffic.

"Very nice property with family benefits"

We had the pleasure of watching our grandson for a weekend so we choose the Federal Way Best Western Plus. Our grandson loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed that everything was very close to the property such as shopping malls, restaurants, and family activities.

"Loved it!"

5
User 04/05/2017

I enjoyed my stay here as well as my bf. The customer service we received was amazing and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely go back here for another special occasion. The only downfall I had (which was primarily my fault for not double checking) was when I had booked the room I booked it for the day after I intended to stay there, so I called up customer service about it and they helped me with switching the dates. Switching the dates came also with a price that almost was the same as how much I had originally payed for one night. All in all the product we received was great!! Thank you Best Western of Federal Way!

"Best of all hotels we have used in the area!"

"Great Location near Seattle"

5

This hotel in Federal Way, WA, was in a great location near Interstate 5. We could drive south to Tacoma or north to Seattle and Everett. A good place to stay with clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff members and a super breakfast! If and when we come back to this area of Washington, we will plan to stay there again.

"BEAUTIFUL hotel, HORRENDOUS staff."

3
jessikapimpson, Federal Way, Washington 16/04/2017

I am a Best Western employee myself and decided to go into the hotel for a leisure stay as i needed a getaway from home, I stayed at this location two seperate times within the last 2 weeks and the first stay was magnificent other than the fact that security was chasing me up and down the hotel acting as if i was a criminal or up to something when i just wanted to rest at the hotel that i PAID for, the check in process was easy, fast and very welcoming by the girl there at about 12am on April,10th. (sorry i forgot your name) but she was wonderful, proceeded to upgrade me into a suite and thank me for my elite status and answered to me when i was having problems with security and finally got them off my back. The second stay was the MOST HORRIBLE experience EVER, i have never experienced such horrible and unwelcoming staff in my LIFE. i take pride in my position with the company and strive to give guests the best stay possible at our location but this definitely is not in the agenda at this best western. I didn't quite catch the name of the lady that checked me in but she had dark hair and appeared to be of islander descent and was such a HORRIBLE person and this was not made better by the guy with the funny haircut standing next to her, he had his hair off to the side a little, i tried making conversation with them when if anything that is their job and they just shrugged me off and were SUPER rude, I asked for an upgrade and the girl looked at the guy laughed and flat out said NO. Ever heard of proper verbage?!. they gave me NO information about the hotel which we should be doing at check in, i didnt even know breakfast didnt get extended on the weekends because they failed to tell me that "unimportant" detail. I felt teamed up against by those two front desk agents and the security that night as when i would walk by they would stare and mumble and laugh under their breath. NEVER in my life have i felt so cornered and anxious. I LOVE the breakfast at this hotel, the rooms are beautiful, location is nice and quiet but staff have ALOT of power to change the way you feel about a hotel. me and my colleagues will be taking our business elsewhere and do NOT plan on ever coming back to this location unless they hire new staff. Its such a shame because i want to come back to this location but that experience haunts me. If i was corporate already, i would've made sure these employees got fired ASAP. such a shame, it's such a beautiful hotel.

Stayed overnight with my granddaughter before her flight. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool, but unfortunately it was closed for repairs. Overall we had a comfortable night with easy check in and check out the next morning.

integritygrp, Boise, Idaho 11/04/2017

Stayed here for a swim meet at Weyerhaeuser Aquatics Center. Thought we just had two queens but ended up with two rooms that had a king and a queen. Each room had its own TV. Full refer, microwave and small prepping area. Didn't use it because our stay was brief. Nice breakfast included. Omelet bar was the best according to the family. Didn't give it a 5 star because everyone froze in the room. We couldn't get the fan to turn off and no additional blankets in the room. Would have called room service but it was the middle of the night. Good value. Would recommend and will stay here again.

User 08/04/2017

My family and I planned a vacation and this was the only hotel that popped up for a decent price and late notice. We planned it during spring break and pretty much everything was booked. I am so glad we got this hotel! When we checked-in it was smooth sailing and the staff was super nice. The only downside was that the pool was closed :( but that's okay we survived. When we reached our room it amazed us all. We loved it! It had two separate rooms which was nice cause my husband and I got our own room without having our kids sleep right next to us, like most hotels are. The fireplace in the living room area was such a nice touch and relaxing after long days of walking. The staff there is on top of things. We had to call maintenance and he was there immediately, our keys didn't work at one point and the lady brought us a new set, the housekeeper we had she was just on top of it all. Overall the staff was amazing and friendly. I was afraid cause I read other reviews of the staff being rude but not in our case. Now the breakfast. That was an amazing breakfast! You can have an omelet made or you can get a few different choices of other hot foods. The waffle maker makes yummy mini waffles. My kids loved their potatoes, scrambled eggs and pancakes. They also had bagels, muffins, and cereal if you're not a hot breakfast type of person. Lots of variety. Thank you Best Western Staff for an amazing stay. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

"Clean and convenient"

Timc1978, Seattle, Washington 05/04/2017

Can't ask for much more for a last minute reservation. It didn't smell, it wasn't dirty, it wasn't scary, the staff was friendly, the toilet flushed and the hot water worked, the heater was noisy as all get out and woke us from a sound sleep a few times, but we just turned the thermostat down and it was fine after that, didn't eat breakfast because we woke up too late, and the internet worked great. Would stay again.

Myra (omelet chef) and Veronice (server) are very sweet workers. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, clean atmosphere. I have been here at this hotel few time actually, it has some other nearby shops to go out for meals as well. Staffs here are very service minded, even my late night flight I still see "smile" to greet at the front desk.

User 14/11/2016

I stayed with my family in room 816. We checked in round 3:30 pm and I took a nap after. Around 11pm I was going out to gamble and headed out the door. As I was pulling the door from outside, I tried to open it again just to make sure it is closed. I found out that the door doesnt lock. I dont need a key to open the door. A very dangerous situation so I went to the front desk. The lady at the front desk gave me an option and told me that they can check my family every 30 minutes with the door unlocked. I told them that they need to give us a room that locks. It was around 12 am by then and I had to wake up my wife to move rooms. I spoke with the manager the next day which she was not concerned at all. I shouldnt have paid for the room but I did. So much for security of the guest and customer service. I have video and documentation for this which I will file to their corporate office. However I found review of their corporate office which is also terrible. So I may be warning people about this place.

Love Best Westerns and we got an awesome deal on this room. The staff was great and the room clean. Awesome breakfast with many choices even Gluten Free options! I hate finding negatives but we live out of town and were on a road trip, I left my pillow there and called for someone to double check its still in room before we turn around and drive back. I called 3 times! And each time a female said she'd check it out and call me back and nobody ever did and I never got my favorite pillow back and it was a pillow case my grandma gave me to so it was special. Another thing, the room smelt terrible. Like someone had smoked in there before hand. Other than that, we had a good stay and I love Best Westerns.

"First review below average. Best Western generally has decent accomodations. Not this one."

Darren W, East Wenatchee, Washington 12/11/2016

This place was not like other Best Western facilities I have stayed. The carpet was really dirty, the window seal was broken and window was full of water. See my pictures for the view out our window. You will see that it's probably a good thing the window was not that clear. The breakfast was good but, they they pack a lot of people in a side room off of the restaurant. Lots of parking.

"Seattle trip"

3
Jek278, Victoria, Canada 06/11/2016

All the employees that we spoke with or presented our problems to were friendly and polite. The first room, #209's heating system did not work and the male employee who responded immediately arranged for another room without our having to ask. The second room #204 also had heating problems and the toilet mechanism did not work easily. The internet was difficult to access. Our rating of the 'rooms' below was due to the problems outlined herein as the rooms themselves were fine.

"Very suprised"

4
User 04/11/2016

Only second time in Seattle, didn't know exactly where to stay, took a chance and was very pleasantly surprised. This Best Western is conveniently located, clean, friendly and the suite was good size. The complimentary breakfast was hot and even included a omelet made to your specifications. It has a steakhouse that was mediocre at best therefore I gave it a 4 but is so close to many restaurants.

"Excellent Property"

William D, Shingletown, United States 28/10/2016

Found to be nicely located but real highlight was the staff. From check in to check out everyone was friendly and wanted to ensure stay was quality. Even sent us on our way as we left each with a bottle of water for the drive.

"A very relaxing stay"

5
Cambria R, Coeur d'Alene, United States 28/10/2016

We came here for a Spartan Race, and it was a very nice place to come back to after getting all beat up. The breakfast is DELICIOUS and worth a little wait for an omelette (there's a line for a reason). The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel itself very presentable. Loved it.

"love it when they give you what you need"

5
Steven J, Portland, Oregon, United States 24/10/2016

hey, nothing new at a decent best western... and i always say sometimes not being surprised is five star great. but the management here, especially for a 'nothing special about it' conference zone, is really kind and considerate to their guests. my second time to stay over two nights and when in the area and needing an overnight stop, their service gets me back.

"not very nice"

2
amygirlthree, california 23/10/2016

We like to stay at Best Western hotels because they are usually pretty nice. This hotel is so far below their normal comfort level that I was very disappointed. If we had not pre-paid for the room, we would have traded hotels! The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable that sleep was very hard to come by. The front desk seems put out if you don't book through Best Western site. The room was very noisy and smelled stale. The shower pressure was just a trickle and made it very hard to wash your hair. Very pricey room for what you get.

"Felt like home"

4
Doug H, Federal Way, United States 18/10/2016

The staff at this hotel are very friendly, and easy to deal with. They made me feel like part of their little family, I stayed here for business, but at the end of every day I felt like I was coming home. I highly recommend this hotel to the business traveler. And the owner "Ms. Alice" is the greatest

"Great family hotel"

5
jbrangel, Lancaster, California 14/10/2016

stayed with my two daughters for a trip, hotel was clean, room was spacious and perfect, had plenty of pillows, a small fridge and micro in room, the restroom even had makeup removal wipes, never seen that!! my girls loved it....Breakfast was fabulous, not your average complimentary breakfast!!! would highly recommend!!!

"Just a small vacation"

4
User 13/10/2016

Upon arrival I happen to notice the Canadian flag in front of the hotel was torn and tattered and nearly torn in half. It took 3 days for the staff to take it down and replace it. I am sure that if there were any Canadian visitors at the hotel, they would have been very up set.

"Beautiful Five Star Lobby!"

3
442jeanener, Vancouver, Washington 08/10/2016

The lobby was breathtaking and extremely pleasant. It was decorated like a beautiful home, wide open and larger than some homes! Warm and spacious, inviting guests to sit and stay for a while. There was quality artwork & flowers everywhere, lots of comfy chairs with nice tables, and a happy hour bar with tables. Thru double doors the breakfast area was spacious, clean and kept well stocked with a selection of breakfast foods and beverages. Delicious 'Seattle's Best' coffee. There was direct access to (or room service from) a very appealing restaurant. Computers were available in a corner of the area for guests' use. I appreciated the quiet of my room; there was no noise, TV or music coming thru the walls. The bed was a disappointment, though; a soft mattress set directly upon squeaky wooden slats with a wooden railing around the bottom that hurt my feet. Please check out other reviews before you decide. My room may have been an anomaly. The BW Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites is a beautiful property with creature comforts galore in the enormous entry.

"Management out of way to accomodate are needs when arriving in the middle of the night."

5
User 06/10/2016

Room was excellent, clean, and cleaned up when ever we asked. When returning to Seattle area we will definately stay here as our first choice of hotels, especially since so close to I-5. We had a little issue with card keys not working twice and we arrived at 2:30 am was were tired and irritated, but for the inconvience we were give a upgrade to a suite instead of single room, which was well worth the inconvience.

"double check your reservation"

Brock J, gilroy, United States 06/10/2016

I am a diamond member and dont know why i was given a handicap room and not asked if it was what i needed. it was for me the worst room in the building. I could hear a person in the restroom and who knows what other noises came from, as well as a microwave oven being used every 6 min at 4:30 am. staff seemed to not give a care as they vacuum hallways at 8:00am. overall I was not a happy person here. if you do stay, stay as high up as you can.

"No problems here"

4
User 05/10/2016

Stayed here a few days visiting a friend. I really wasn't at the hotel too much, except to sleep. The bed was comfortable and it wasn't too noisy, except for the fact that my room was by the elevator and I could hear luggage being dragged from time to time. I didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but it looked good enough... Standard stuff. Only complaint would be the AC Thermostat is right next to the AC unit, so it kicked on and off frequently. Also, the toilet clogged the morning I left, but didn't overflow. A plunger would have been nice. The surrounding area is nice, and appeared to be safe with restaurants and stores nearby. Overall though, I would stay here again, just not near the elevator.

"Most of it is great"

4
Eric H, Bend, United States 29/09/2016

Very clean, nice hotel. However, the BED may as well be box springs. So unless you need super hard beds, look elsewhere. The rooms and common areas are very clean. The breakfast has delicious, made to order omelets?!?! Who does that anymore?

"Good Beds!"

4
User 25/09/2016

I hate staying in a bed that is not my own. Most hotel beds feel obvious that they have been there forever. I get large migraines. This place feels clean, smells clean, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of pillows and firm mattresses.

"Turn on the Lights"

3
John I, Roy, United States 20/09/2016

All though there was plenty of light sources in the room, the only room that had good lighting was the bathroom. All the other lights in the room had low wattage light bulbs which made it seem dim in the room even with all the lights on. This of course is a personal preference. Was disappointed that the bathroom had no vent fan which made the mirror fog over. Trying to save a buck Best Western? Would be nice if the rooms came with a roll of paper towels in the cabinet over the sink and coffee maker to use for small spills instead of having to use guest towels.

"Police were called"

1
Karen D, Moscow, Idaho 17/09/2016

We were at the hotel for 5 nights on a business trip. The people right next door would be up every night, slamming their door 20 plus times between midnight and 4 a.m. We called the desk several times to request that they ask the people next door to be quiet. They did not contact them. We asked the people ourselves to please shut the door quietly. On the fourth night we called the desk again, nothing happened. I went down to the desk at 2:30 a.m., understandably upset and sleep deprived and told them it wasn't OK. They promised to send a security guard. When I got back to my room I sat outside to see if a security guard would arrive. A little old guy from India, very timid, arrived and knocked on their door. They answered and were very confrontational. The man in the room claimed they had never been contacted by the front desk. The "security guard" cowered in the corner while the man threatened to beat up me and my husband. He made 3 direct threats. My husband suggested that the police be called, then we went back into our room. The front desk did call the police. Then they called us and told us the manager would contact us, but he/she never has. We have called the hotel more than a dozen times, but the manager "is not in". Our phone calls were never returned.

"stingy"

2
portlandmaxandco, Portland 03/09/2016

We stayed for one night, and wanted to buy an extra half day so we could check out at 3 pm because of a sports event we were participating in. The manager Jen told us that she would sell us half a day but we had to check out at 2 pm. There were only a few guests in the hotel - very very slow as the night manager had told us. Not only were they stingy, but the complete lack of empathy and friendliness let us to cancel a second reservation that we had made there for later in the week. We won't stay there again.

"Good Location and Staff - average facilities"

3
User 26/08/2016

PROs: First the Good points: 1. They have 2ea 80 amp chargers for a Tesla EV and 1 charger for other EVs. They worked as advertized, but other non EVs parked in the charging spots. 2. The breakfast was good and the coffee was excellant. 3. The staff was very responsive and helpful. CONs: 1. The room was small with a queen size bed - which was what we wanted, but it was a murphy bed... the kind you can fold up. I know as I have the very same type. My bed has overhead lights installed for reading - Best Western's did not - so could not read in bed. The shower curtain had holes in it and the carpet needed cleaning. 2. Since the sign outside still says Best Western and not Best Western Plus... Believe they are still in process of upgrading. 3. The location is very good for us and we have dogs and they have a large park next door. The Rodo species and bonsai garden are not far and well worth a visit. Also the Black Bear restaurant is only 6 blocks away. So if you need an EV or Tesla destination charger and an animal friendly establishment this is it.

"Terrible bed and location of room"

1
User 25/08/2016

My wife and I stayed one night August 23 2016.Our room was on the ground floor and the staff allowed Harley Davidson motorcycles to park immediately beside our window. Ridiculous. But the worst was the terrible mattress on the small Queen size bed. It caved in the middle and we barely got ,3 hours sleep, due to the cheap mattress. Never again.

"Olympic Kennel Club show"

5
Travlcub, Seattle, Washington 24/08/2016

We had stayed at your hotel as guest of the Olympic Kennel Club August 17-21. Rooms spotless, front desk superb, breakfast buffet one of the best for this level of hotel, omelette station was a great touch, you won't find this in Residence Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Alice, your top notch!! See you next year for the Olympic Kennel Club!!

"GOOD LOCATION AND GOOD EXPERIENCE"

3
HARRY M, Tigard, Oregon 20/08/2016

Located right off I-5, it is close to the airport as well as dining options. Check-in was smooth. Rooms were comfortable, although they could use some updating. Nice option to have a fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. A.C worked well. Nice to have a lounge in the lobby. Breakfast options were good and plenty of seating. Good experience.

"Family getaway"

4
Jackie P, Kelowna 20/08/2016

This property is about 30-40 minutes outside of Seattle. there is a mall and MANY restaurants in the area walking distance. The 2 Bedroom suites are very comfortable and good size. Maybe slightly dated but overall we will be back. The free breakfast is wonderful and "to order" Very clean and very quiet!! thank you staff!

"Worst beds, OVER salted food/breakfast, older facility"

1
Darrell T, Spokane, United States 18/08/2016

Hotel Manager must not trust the staff with the key to re-supply the "sales shelves" with laundry soap, candy, & such; per the hotel staff statements because she dosn't allow them access.. They were out of laundry soap & we were forced to "shop" at the hotel next door (which had double the cost for the single use soaps) for laundry we didn't expect to do in the 1st place. Their were no directions to the laundry machines and one locked and the other didn't. We found this out AFTER one was started without clothes. The staff said there was nothing they could do. What?! (The morning staff refunded $1.50) The beds have not been replaced since this location has been open. Feels like your sleeping on springs. For over $400.00 for 2 nights we should have a comfortable bed at least! Their provided breakfast looked amazing... until later that day when we blew up like a balloon because of the salt. We ate freshly made omelets and oatmeal. There was WAY too much salt in the eggs/meats & WHY is there salt in oatmeal!?? There is no reason for it. Therefor we didn't enjoy our trip which occurred on a hot day, drinking lots of water, and hurting due to being so swollen our calves were burning because the skin was so taunt. NOT staying here again & I will be bringing my OWN food.

Problems with room access and having to move to aniother room was not good. Was compensated by manager's discount which mande it bareable. Overall this hotel is aging and needs to be updated. Needs a total remmodel.

"Not what I expected for a Bestwestern"

3
Susana W, Union Gap, United States 12/08/2016

The outside presentation of the hotel is beautiful. The actual interior of the room is where they fall way under the expectation. Room was way outdated, stained carpet, wall beneath air conditioner rotting. The mattress comfortable but dated as well. Room appeared to need a total cleaning vacuuming etc. I stay at many of best westerns and I was shocked to see the room conditions for this one. SAD!

"Best Western Awesome Service"

5
Frances K, Anchorage, United States 11/08/2016

The staff at this hotel are always helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and options provided for breakfast are awesome, they have a variety of options for their deluxe breakfast. The swimming pool and hot tub are a bonus indeed

"Don't care attitude"

1
elenaore2003, Rochester, Minnesota 08/08/2016

I did not want to do this review before giving the management time to respond. BW Care team indicated that somebody would call me within seven days. They never did and I sadly report that during our stay, we had problems everyday: wrong room, dirty room, charged a higher rate, which I had finally taken care of, shuttle not on schedule, restaurant not following basic cleanliness standards, bugs in the room, we were all bit; and employees' don't care attitude.....except Janeth and Oscar. We made BW aware of the problems but at the end, were told that each hotel is responsible for handling it. Really bad stay.

"Surprisingly pleasant"

5
Theresa D, Chehalis 08/08/2016

We checked into a king suite. The room was a small 1 bedroom studio and very nice. I was able to sleep in the California king bed with no problems and the room was very quiet. The Ram restaurant in the area gave us a 20% discount for staying in a hotel near by!

"Over charged my debit card"

1
User 02/08/2016

This hotel charged my debit card 3 times for 1 room. I have stayed at many Best Westerns throughout several States and this is the one location I will NEVER return too!! I stayed at this hotel on july 22nd & checked out on the 24th. I made the reservation with my debit card and upon check out I paid the total amount plus an incidental hold of $70 (which I was unaware of this mandatory hold up until check in) with my husband's debit card. 5 days later my card, which I used to make the reservation, was charged the total amount of the room. I've now been charged twice for my room. Then again 2 days later my card is charged a second time. So now I've been charged 3 times between my husband and I's debit cards. And the worst part is I'm unable to speak to anybody at the hotel about it because it's the weekend and there is no manager in until Monday!! Seriously? No management on the weekend at a busy hotel string....due to the over charges to my accounts upwards of $700, I now have to deal with financial hardships of overdraft fees and utility disconnections. I feel like In addition to refunding my wrongful charges immediately, I deserve a full refund for my stay. The hotel is telling my It will take 3 to 5 days for any refund.

"DON'T EXPECT TO USE THE SHUTTLE"

2
Dawn M, Lubbock, United States 28/07/2016

I booked this hotel specifically to use the shuttle due to an early morning flight. When I returned my rental car the night before my flight, I sat at the terminal for close to 2 hours waiting to return to the hotel. I have tried on several occasions to reach TJ / OPS Mgr but he has quite the way of putting people off. The staff was pleasant but clearly not supported by their management team. I won't be back.

"Cancelled reservation at check-in"

1
User 24/07/2016

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel didn't honor our reservation. They cancelled the booking at check-in and didn't tell us why. The front-desk agent (Alexis) was obnoxious and rude. I had to book a different hotel. There are many places in the area that will not cancel on you when you arrive. Avoid this awful place.

"Beware, they may loose your reservation!"

2
Steve G, SPOKANE VALLEY, United States 21/07/2016

I give it a Poor rating because of the staff, including the manager. One of the front desk ladies seems to have a bad attitude. Not a bad hotel, as long as they do not loose your reservation! Seem to have problems when ever I book this property.

"Terrible Management of Guests"

1
EwwfmN, LIHUE, KAUAI 20/07/2016

Arriving by train and checking in at 4 p.m., we presented our credit card and picture ID. Our reservation was confirmed and we were given our room, keys, and breakfast vouchers. After placing our bags in our room our son picked us up to go to dinner. Two hours later we received a voice mail telling us the hotel was oversold and we had been moved to another Best Western in Tacoma, about 20 miles south. We of course had visions of someone entering our room and removing our luggage and taking it to another hotel. In panic we called the front desk who confirmed the voice mail. I told them that this was unacceptable since all our travel arrangements were from this location and we had already checked in. The front desk lady responded, "You've already checked in?" When I confirmed this we were told that the call did not apply to us. Apparently they were making a blanket call without even determining which guests had or had not checked in. Returning to our room at 9:30 p.m. We shortly went to bed. Sometime after 10:00 p.m our room phone rang asking for some other guest and my wife told them there was no one in the room by that name. Approximately 15 minutes later a second call was received asking for another guest. My wife asked if this was the front desk calling and was told yes. She then asked if they didn't know who was staying in our room and the lady replied, No we don't." So much for making reservations, checking in with picture ID and being given keys. It is far less than a secure feeling when the hotel does not even know who is staying in the hotel or in which room and makes upsetting blanket phone calls without even thinking about who they are calling. Avoid this place!!!

"Good quality and service"

5
299Tony, King's Lynn, United Kingdom 18/07/2016

Stayed here for just over a week in March 2016. Service was good, the room was comfortable. There's a decent cooked breakfast served which marks the hotel above some others in similar price bracket. All in all, no complaints whatsoever. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Happy customer here and will probably book again the next time I'm in Federal Way.

"Average BW Plus with great breakfast"

3
Derek S, Portland, Oregon, Usa 17/07/2016

This was an average BW Plus with a friendly staff. Upon check in we were given a standard 2 queen room when we had reserved a one bedroom suite. The front desk promptly switched us to a two room suite for the same price. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. For breakfast we all had omelets stuffed with bacon, spinach, onion, ham, cheese, and other goodies. It was delicious. Great location if you are heading to Wild Waves in the morning!

"Will not stay at a Best Western again"

3
Dan F, Federal Way, United States 05/07/2016

I paid $170 per night and only got 4 TV channels... When I asked the front desk about it they said for additional $25 dollars they could UNLOCK my TV. When I pay that much per night the least I should be able to expect is cable to watch in my down time. I have never heard of a hotel doing this... I will not be staying at a Best western again. That's a cheap way to get more money. At 170 per night that's ridiculous!!

"Small Suites, Poor check-in/out"

2
gallst, Portland, Oregon 03/07/2016

We had several problems with checkin, and the computer was down at checkout so we couldn't see final charges, etc. We were told to "expect an email." 4 days later, it hasn't come yet. We actually were given a key to enter a room that ALREADY HAD PEOPLE IN IT. They were startled by our entrance, as were we. The staff just said, "that's odd, sorry" and gave us a new room. I expected more than that in terms of customer service. The pros: the suite beds were very nice and comfortable. The hot buffet breakfast was fantastic. We didn't use the restaurant or fitness center. Other cons: the 2BR suite living/kitchen areas are very small. The couch was old and stained by time and use. The sofabed was awful; we put an air mattress on top of it. They do not provide trash can liners ("we are green; we just wash them") or paper towels in the kitchen. There were no towels or racks for them of any kind, in the kitchen area. The microwave was compact-size, such that my travel coffee mug didn't fit in it.

"Small and low budget"

2
relyble, New Hope, Pennsylvania 02/07/2016

Felt like we slept in the housekeeping closet. Booked a queen room and got a queen Murphy bed which took up the whole room, had to put a pillow on the corner of the bed as not break any toes going to the bathroom. On the positive the staff were friendly and the location of the hotel is close to the I5 easy access. Shopping is close by and walking distance to several restaurants. I would not come back but the room was clean, felt it was very over-priced for the type of room.

"Decent Hotel"

3
User 21/06/2016

We planned a weekend family trip and stayed at this hotel in Federal Way. No complaints, but nothing that really stood out as excellent either. Hotel and rooms were clean. Could use some updating and maintenance. Our room had a pull out couch that was the only seating in the living area and it was very uncomfortable to sit on. We did not use it as a pullout bed so I can't comment on that aspect. The location is handy to the freeway and LOTS of shopping and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and sleeping would have been great except this hotel must be in the flight path of Sea-Tac or Boeing (or both:-) ) Not the fault of the hotel! We would stay here again if in the area.

"ice meltdown-it needs machines on all florrs!"

4
Roy S, Bridgeville, Delaware 16/06/2016

Good multi-story hotel near SeaTac Airport with comfortable rooms, but getting ice was a major task. The Ice machines are only located on floors 2,4 & 6. I walked down a flight of stairs only to discover that floor 4's ice machine was not working. That leaves only 2 floors left. On floor 2 the machine was working, but it had no grate to set the ice bucket on. Have you tried to get ice with two hands holding the bucket/plastic liner and using your head to push the round button on the machine at your far right?

"Very Comfortable"

4
Linda F, Seattle, Washington 15/06/2016

I stayed night, but the room was so comfortable! The bed was perfect, I slept wall and didn't want to get out of it! The front desk was friendly. A little slow but friendly and helpful. The floor I was on was very quiet, just what I wanted. I would stay here again

"Great Experience"

5
Penny L, Post Falls 15/06/2016

Staff was gracious and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious...the omelet was chef quality! Dinner at Seasons was also delicious. Our only complaint was the hardness of the bed the first night but the second night we moved to a new room and the bed was very comfortable.

"Better than Tacoma"

5
Arthur M, Sun City West, United States 15/06/2016

We were attending a HS Graduation ceremony in Tacoma. This location was perfect for our connection to family and ease of access after long trip from Arizona. Staff were efficient and got us into our room early. Breakfast service was the best we have experienced (10 different locations). Location provides ease of access to freeway, shopping centers, and great restaurants nearby. You can't go wrong with this one.

"Worth the extra few minutes from the airport. The owner is about to be 101 and still working there.!!!"

5
theotter1, Ithaca, New York 14/06/2016

We stayed on our way to our daughter's rather than have her drive an hour to pick us up after midnight . We liked the place so much we booked the following Sunday so she wouldn't have to drop us on her way to work on Monday. This hotel had everything: Walter, the shuttle driver was safe, courteous, and even took our bags to our room when he saw how tired we were (we're both in our 70's) after our trip from our home in Hawaii. The rooms both times were very clean and comfortable and the hotel was non-smoking and quiet. They had the usual items on the FREE breakfast menu, but they went a step above by adding a chef who made us custom omelettes with cheeses, lots of veggies, sausage, ham, and even olives.. He joked that he got into trouble by putting so many items out so i said I would mention how much we enjoyed it to the manager . "You can do better than that if you want " , he said. "The owner is right behind you". I then had a delightful conversation with a professionally dressed woman who was clearly proud of her staff and her hotel and obviously active in its daily management. She is also about to celebrate her 101st birthday next month!!! Amazing!! The place is thoroughly up to date with wi-fi and handicap accessible rooms and small touches like a nicely stocked snack bar , free welcome bags with water bottles , granola bars and sometimes even microwave popcorn. Show that "Ms. Alice" wants her guests to be comfortable. She is very approachable. My only thought for the manager is that the toilets in the handicap accessible room (312) were standard height and would not be easily wheel chair accessible.

Good experience at hotel. Fix the traffic and it would be great. Amenities and staff were very helpful and would stay here again Location is perfect and the local eateries are plentiful. My wife especially liked the biscuits and gravy at the buffet breakfast.

"Federal Way"

4
Martin G, Los Angeles, United States 01/06/2016

Very good hotel, I have to say that the bed was amazing. I didn't use the breakfast this time since I had breakfast at my meeting, but it seemed like a good breakfast. In general, it was a very nice experience: room was clean, staff was great, location was right next to the freeway and five minutes to my corporate office, close to the airport. So, no problems at all.

Curtis C, Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Martin, We appreciate your business and we're glad to hear that your recent visit went smoothly. We are committed to our business travelers and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. Next time you're here stop by for our free breakfast featuring a chef-staffed omelet bar! We hope to see you again soon!

"Fun in Federal Way"

5
Wanda J, Delta, Canada 31/05/2016

The Best Western plus Evergreen Inn and Suites is a great hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The free hot breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is in a great location... shopping, restaurants and even movie theaters within walking distance. The hotel even has a shuttle from the Seattle airport and will "shuttle" you around the hotel area. I will definitely return to this hotel and have already told friends about it.

"Convenient location near Seattle"

4
TheDude2403, Vancouver, WA 29/05/2016

This hotel has quick and easy access from I-5 between Seattle and Tacoma in Federal Way. The rooms are becoming a bit warn, but they were clean and well appointed. The breakfast in the morning has many options including hot items. Indoor pool with hot tub is available. Many restaurants nearby within walking distance. Have had good luck twice now both one night stays.

"What a disappointment."

1

Wow. So disappointed in the lack of organization and customer service. We arrived at 2:45 and was told check in is not until 3:00. We went to the store and returned at 3:15 to check in. We were told the room was still not ready. No apology, and no offer of a resolution. Finally at 4:00 the room was ready. We walked in to find our room is not correct. I called down to the front desk and was told I would receive a call back. After 20 min of no call, I called the front desk, only to get hung up on. I realized with the lack of customer service I will have to make all the effort to get their mistakes corrected. Finally we were given the correct room. What should have been a check in at 3pm turned into an almost 2 hour long situation with no courtesy or help from the front desk. If you are looking for a fun, stress free weekend away with your family, this is not the hotel for you.

Great hotel! We would stay here again. We had the 2 room option and it was a nice size for a decent price. Liked the location, Trader Joe's, mall, movie theater just down the road. The omelette station was such a great idea!

Was in Federal Way, WA for PAC 12s. Good location to the Aquatic Center. Centrally located to restaurants, stores, freeway. Staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Okay breakfast buffet although they didn't have any ice tea and their juice was watered down, but omelets were cooked to order. Good happy hour & prices. Room was spacious and very clean. They are a bit stingy on towels so you may have to order a bunch more from housekeeping. The AC unit was loud and kept kicking on and off so we just turned it down so it wouldn't keep us up all night. But overall, for the price, location and friendlieness of staff it's a good place to stay. Also there is plenty of free parking.

Curtis C, Sales Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites, responded to this review

dont plan on staying at the bw in federalway again we were broken into the front desk was not helpful other than calling the police whom never arrived because its a low level crime for that area 3 other vehicles were broken into the break in happened right in front of the hotel entrance maybe security was in on it just saying......

Curtis C, Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Susan, we are terribly sorry that this happened to you. We are committed to providing our guests with excellent service and we regret that we didn't meet your expectations recently. While events such as these are very rare, we are diligently working with our security staff and local law enforcement to prevent this sort of occurrence in the future. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and I assure you it will receive immediate attention. Thank you.

"OVERNIGHT IN FEDERAL WAY"

GUY T, Goldendale, Washington 13/05/2016

Overall we found the Best Western to be a good place to stay when in Federal Way, however, we booked a room with a "separate bedroom" but it was not the room that was provided to us. The check-out staff said that our bill would be adjusted, but as of this posting, it had not. The breakfast was good, especially the omelets to order! I would stay here again, but would not pay the extra price for the King Suite with the "separate bedroom" since it did not have a separate bedroom!

Curtis C, Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We're glad to hear that you had an overall pleasant experience at the Best Western Plus Evergreen Inn and Suites. We strive to provide excellent service to our guests always and in all ways. If you have not yet received your bill adjustment at this time please call us and ask to speak to the front desk manager. We are always available for our guests - before, during, and after your stay. Thank you again for your business and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.

CKBranter, Wilmington, North Carolina 11/05/2016

Stayed here with my wife in May 2016 when we visited the Seattle area on vacation. We chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the airport after our evening arrival. But this place isn't like a typical airport hotel. It has great amenities, the beds are comfortable, and the free breakfast bar is probably the best of any hotel I've stayed in including omelet station. We would definitely stay here again

"Not happy for the money"

3
Elizabeth P, Bellingham, Washington, United States 06/05/2016

Would not recommend. The bed was very comfortable, but the desk chair was up against the end of the bed. No way to get around when sitting at the desk. The shower head was a detachable (handicap) that did not detach and was spraying straight down so you had to stand almost against the front wall to use wash yourself in the shower. Only one chair in the room very uncomfortable!

Tracy S, Manassas, Virginia 28/04/2016

Good sized rooms, very clean. I stayed here in February for a week and ended up in a suite with a nice seating area/desk separate from the sleeping area. Nice small kitchenette, which was helpful. Gym is ok, pool is a nice bonus.

"Excellent Hotel"

5
Robert Y, HONOLULU, United States 25/04/2016

The front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff were all very helpful and friendly. They have a good breakfast bar that also includes made to order omelets. The bar has a nice but simple Happy Hour menu that is offered twice a night. Nice shuttle service for the airport and nearby shopping areas. Very good value for the money.

Close to restaurants and shopping. Great location. Was a very pleasant stay. Hotel a little dated but still very nice. Nice pool. Would recommend for families. Great area to visit. 200 characters is too many.

"Wonderful people"

5
User 11/04/2016

The whole "crew" at this Best Western from check-in to check-out, really were kind and seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as nice as possible. It is a great place to stay if you want to be close, but not too close to SEATAC.

"Nice Room"

4
User 01/04/2016

Stayed here on the way to Bellingham and it was nice after having sat in traffic for two hours. We used our points for the room and got a room with a queen bed and a little alcove with bunk beds. I have never been in a hotel room with bunk beds. There was a wedding reception going on in the floor below us but we never heard a peep. It was very relaxing and a full hot breakfast was the icing on the cake.

"Family getaway for 6"

628briany, Surrey, Canada 31/03/2016

Had a family getaway to Seattle and we stayed at the Best Western Plus Evergreen Inn in Federal Way with our 4 kids. The check in was a breeze and the lady at the front desk was pleasant and friendly. We did some shopping which the shopping complex is a short distance away and lot of restaurants to eat at. Once back at the hotel we all went for a swim and hot tub which was great. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. Also in the morning, the continental breakfast is excellent, they make custom omelettes for you with a bunch of other breakfast foods. When we come down again, we will definitely stay at the Best Western Plus Evergreen Inn in Federal Way. Brian Surrey, B.C

"Nothing Wrong if You Want to be in Federal Way!"

RDG52, Chicago, Illinois 24/03/2016

Nothing bad to say about this place except the heat blows and makes it feel cold, but that's minor. Breakfast was great, room was really nice, price was good for Seattle area. Was there for a medical procedure, so didn't really seek out Federal Way, but the hotel is right near 3 huge shopping centers, if you like that. Everything else is distant. But the hotel was great, friendly service, helpful staff, nice facility.

"Enjoyable!"

I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions and am never disappointed. Gracious, kind front desk staff; outgoing, generous dining room and bar staff; bountiful breakfast. Great for business travelers, singles, and families. Something for everyone. Clean, safe, in a good area.

"Comfortable bed, clean room, lousy food, broken TV remote"

3
Linda S, San Jose, United States 24/03/2016

I arrived, checked in and went straight to the restaurant because I was really hungry. There was one table taken in the restaurant and one waiter. The food was disappointing: flavorless hamburger and sweet tea (the waiter had never heard of unsweetened tea). The waiter never checked back to see how I liked my meal. When I flagged him down to ask for a glass of water, he never delivered it. I finally went to the kitchen door and asked for it. At breakfast the next morning there was no oatmeal for the first 10 or 15 minutes -- I had to ask about it. The scrambled eggs made just for me were delicious. In my room, the bed was next to the heating/air conditioning so I had air blowing on me all night long (not pleasant) and the remote control for the TV was broken. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo.

"First Timer in Seattle"

mona412, los angeles 23/03/2016

My daughter had a great experience in Seattle with her friend. Of course, Best Western Plus Evergreen Inn & Suites in Federal Way didn't disappoint her. They slept like babies and missed 3 breakfast meals out of 5. Since it was Spring Break, they weren't able to get an early check in. But, kudos to the receptionist who tried to accommodate them.

"Definitely not the "Best" Western"

2
User 17/03/2016

The front desk was nice at check in, but it went down hill from there. They screwed up and thought we were leaving after only one night. Opps. And, on the first evening when I asked the lounge "lady" for a couple of Spanish coffees, she whined, "Oh, I guess I'll have to make some coffee then." Boo Hoo. And the room sure has a long list of problems: - the room heater doesn't work very well; - very loud dripping noise outside our window as the rain hits a metal conduit; - no fan in the bathroom (c'mon, that's a real problem for me!); - poor lighting in the room; - when the room was "cleaned" after our first night, they made the bed but left most of the garbage like cups, dishes, silverware, trays and garbage baskets still in the room; - very low quality upgrade, like poor sanding and painting of the molding. The only good thing about this place is their good hot breakfast area: besides the normal waffles, pancakes, bagels and muffins, they also have a nice person making custom omlettes; all for free. If you are unfortunate enough to have to stay in this "Worst Western" motel, make sure that you are in a room facing west instead of east. The view to the east is of very big transmission towers (real ugly). And, especially make sure that you are not in room 209 because it faces directly out onto the roof of the lobby; the roof which has a multitude of HVAC equipment and an excellent approach for someone who could get easy access to your room (not good at all). Save your angst - go somewhere else.

"Great Stay"

Charles N, Vancouver, Washington 15/03/2016

This was a much needed trip and we had an amazing time. I always say, your trip is what you make it and we had a well deserving time. The staff was great and got us an early check in which helped incredibly. The room was clean and the breakfast was full filling. This hotel is located near shipping, coffee and restaurants. You can pretty much walk to any. I suggest this place for families and couples.

"Disappointed this time."

3
joanck, Reardan,Wa. 07/03/2016

I would not rate this a Plus Best Western, compared to other BW plus. Check-in was terrible. Wrestling teams checking in foe State tournament...had a 30 minute wait in line...very cold as every time someone came door opened wide and was frigid. They were not prepared for the large amount of check-ins. There has to be a better way to handle such crowds. Coffee not available in lobby after breakfast. Noisy heating unit in our room, not taken care of...had 3 nights of interrupted sleep. No suitcase rack in room, incomplete stocking of room on day 2 and 3.

"Most uncomfortable bed EVER"

1
Julie P, Vancouver, United States 06/03/2016

Strobe light effect in the bathroom, bed was a small queen and was horribly uncomfortable. I am a BW Platinum member and wasn't offered an upgrade and when I brought it to the attention of the gal the next day she said it should have been offered the night before when I checked in. Barely got sleep and my shoulders are still sore from lying on my sides. Won't come back if I have to sleep in that bed again. Pillows were just as bad.

"Okay for the price"

3
travel3work, Sun Valley, California 01/03/2016

Stayed at this hotel for a week-long swim meet. Good location-good price, close to shopping, easy freeway access. Choose a higher floor, away from the elevators and on the street side (less noise). Rooms are in need of updating. Carpets and furnishings are older and the lobby is in need of some updating as well. Buffet breakfast is okay-same foods everyday-average selection. Parking is good and safe. Hotel offers a free shuttle to and from within a 5 mile radius-a real plus. Water pressure in the shower was weak. Gym was small and only 2 of the 4 machines were in working order. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very good and polite.

"good stay for the price"

took a group of high school gymnasts over for the state meet. Hotel is close to food and close to shopping. A lot to keep the kids busy when they were not competing. Location is easy to find off a major highway in the Federal Washington area.

"Mostly really nice, except for the terrible bartender"

4
kevin_from_AKandCO, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska 21/02/2016

I have to agree with another reviewer about the bartender. Terrible. He stood turned away, purposefully ignoring guests for 5 minutes, then barely managed a hello to me. When I asked if he could make a sidecar (a classic cocktail) he responded "that's vodka and pineapple juice, right?" Uh, no, not even close. I asked what cocktails he COULD make, his response was "tell me what's in it and I can make it." At that point I walked out. Other than that, I was mostly really happy with this place. The room was huge and set up like an apartment (was this previously a Marriott Residence Inn perhaps?). No concerns with cleanliness. Staff was great at check-in (though they sucked on the phone when I called for directions) and check-out. Bed was extremely comfortable, except for the lousy pillows (didn't bother me as much as other reviewers, but they are odd). Breakfast was above average. I wanted to use the hot tub but as the pool area was full of families with screaming kids I skipped it. A few minor(ish) frustrations: This was a last-minute reservation, and I don't have a smart phone for navigation, so when I asked for directions, both people who tried to help me were clueless, though it turns out I was **2 miles** away on a state highway. One of the elevators gave quite the rickety ride; disconcertingly another guest said it had not been like that the day before. Bedroom HVAC unit blows directly onto the bed 3 feet away. Actually, it blows the CURTAINS over the bed which would make sleep impossible. When it never turned off, I eventually unplugged it. That said, I would stay here again if I had a need. The review may not sound like it, but it is quite nice.

"Nice hotel in a convenient location"

toynamaria, WA 21/02/2016

This hotel is just off the freeway and easy to find. My room was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was acceptable with a sufficient dining area. I so appreciate that this entire hotel is non-smoking.

"Great Staff munis the Server/Bartender"

4
missoulatravelmom, Missoula 17/02/2016

This hotel is very welcoming and the front desk staff was great. The bar/restaurant server on the weekend was horrible. He was rude and blew people off for more then 30 minutes, then came back with comments of what do you want. if they retrain or remove him this hotel would be what the rest of the staff wants. Even his co-workers didnt care for his bad service.

"Amenities missing"

3
Marcella W, oakdale, United States 15/02/2016

The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was wonderful. Where it fell short was we had to request towel linens each day. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Bed Pillows are terrible. The facility does have a small bar and fitness room which we used. Overall we would probably try another hotel in the area to compare. Rates were average.

"depends on why you are staying"

4
simpleyme, oregon 06/02/2016

This hotel was clean felt safe, the employees were very kind and helpful the free breakfast was very good and did have healthy options. The beds did not have real pillows just four little hard squares and the toilet would gurgle loud enough to hear from the bed when no one was using it! We paid just over 140 for a queen size bed. There was a pool it looked nice but we did not use it. Over all I would recommend this place if you just need a place to stay.It is right off of I-5 and easy to find. We were staying here to go to a event at the Tacoma dome, the Best western at the Tacoma dome was full but they offered that their sister site has a shuttle that would take us -no problem. So we booked it ,I would recommend that you call every hotel that is close to the Dome before relying on any hotel shuttle to any big event at the Tacoma dome the traffic is a mess 2 hours before and 2 hours after the event, The hotel only has 2 shuttles one holds about 10 and the other 6 . So once they leave they are stuck in traffic and it will be at least one hour before they return. The concert we were there to attend had about 50 people waiting outside for the shuttle, there were no reservation (even though we were told we had reservations)just a free for all mad dash to get the very few seats, some people were really rude and I felt so bad for the employees ! People who are going in large group really should not try to use the shuttle as the chances of you all getting on the same one are almost zero the ones who did were the really horrible mean types who mow down little old ladies and baby duckies. We managed to get on the shuttle and made it to our concert just fine, afterward we went to the Tacoma Dome best western to wait for the shuttle the first one was full so we waited over an hour for the second one . The people around us were desperate to get to their rooms and called cabs that said it would be a 2 hour wait. One gal said uber was charging 80 dollars a person. The parking around the dome was 40 bucks so that seems like it would have been a good deal. So we caught the second shuttle but just barely as I got on a big drunk guy demanded I get out and would not let my husband get on with me so my husband jumped in the front seat. And we just sat there why he threw a drunkin fit, then part of his group was not ready had left things behind and went to get them and were not going to go anyway. My advice is jump in the van and ignore the drunks! The next day another hotel guest that we had gotten to know during our stay reported the exact same experience as us! A drunk guy demanding he get out! Anyway the shuttle thing is not good avoid it if you can for popular events.

enjoyed my night here very clean room and hotel and the breakfast was assume. was on the 8th floor so internet was a little slow and only one elevator was working at the time the other was beaning serviced cable tv was good nice LCD TV coffee in room was a good brand but the lobby should offer coffee for guest like other hotels like red-lion do. nice place to stay also indoor pool the chlorine was very strong by elevator door,

"Good choice in the area"

This is a good hotel choice in the area. It is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a good quality. There are many restaurants in the vicinity. We will definitely use this hotel in the future if we are in the area.

"I'd stay here again"

4
User 28/01/2016

Plus-I thought the hotel was very nice. They are pet friendly which is a huge plus. Lots of grass around the hotel to walk a dog. Pool was nice, jacuzzi was super hot and very clean. We had a family room which slept my family of 5 wonderfully. Reception was always very nice and courteous. The breakfast bar is AWESOME! !they had an omelet station, biscuits and gravy, eggs and hashbrown, french toast and a waffle maker. Delicious! Walking distance to lots of restraunts and the Commons Mall with a Target. Minus - third floor hallway smells something awful. Like laundry that sat in the washer too long. We have to hold our breath and run to the room. It's just the hallway, not the rooms. We told the desk and they said they are working on it. We are in a family room that sleeps six but when they clean the room they only put 3 towels in. I had to call the desk to get more. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again.

"Family reunion"

5
User 12/01/2016

We took up about 11 rooms between 30 or so of us. Our reunion being over in Fife. The staff - front desk and also concierge were so good to all of our family. Nothing was too much and they accommodated all of us very efficiently - even 2am when our girls room wanted to watch t.v and it wasn't working. It was sorted straight away. The shuttle took us to the main shops and pick up so efficient. We used the pool and the laundry and the $3. Movies just over the road! Thank you team at Best Western. Kolopa Family.

"Comfortable bed and decent amenities, but generally lacking in service"

3
Sc0ttSays, Dallas, Texas 06/01/2016

My family (two teens, my wife, and myself) stayed for 5 nights in a two bedroom family suite, which included a king bed room, a queen bed room, and a sleeper sofa. PROs: - Very comfortable beds - Large refrigerator - Gas fireplace kept everyone warm (sometimes a little too warm) - WiFi worked well - HDTV and cable in each bedroom and living area - Continental breakfast was good (made to order omelets, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruits, breads, etc.) - Most staff are friendly - Free parking CONS: - Room didn't really seem ready for us - Only two towels in the bathroom, no linens for the sofa bed - No bathroom fan (aside from the obvious, it also gets very steamy when showering) - Large AC / heater fans are located directly beside the beds and blow hard on the person sleeping on that side - Had to request room service several times - TV remotes only worked occasionally. Staff couldn't seem to correct the problem. - There is a restaurant / bar in the lobby, but the bar was only open once and the restaurant was seemingly never open in the entire time we were there Our stay was good overall, but the service was mediocre. Not sure we would stay there again.

"Worst Western"

1
Kris S, Chelan, Washington 05/01/2016

I travel a lot and I've seen a lot, but this was my worst hotel stay yet. When I woke up in the morning there was no hot water in shower. WiFi internet connection did not work. The bed in this fairly large room was placed right next to blower - I had to shut it off to be able to sleep. When tried to call the front desk the cord came out of the handset and could not be re-attached. I contacted the manager and he promised a refund, but the refund had never materialized. I received my money back only after disputing the transaction with my credit card. Stay away!

"great stay"

5
User 01/01/2016

The bed was too hard and everywhere outside the room was too cold but the staff, breakfast, room was terrific. I didn't use the pool, spa area because I get up early and both times I would have used it was being cleaned. It was very easy on and off the freeway location.

"Nice, clean rooms. Convenient to Airport. Great breakfast buffet."

5
Isaac M, Griffin, Georgia 28/12/2015

We spent a night here after flying into Seattle and stayed for one night before boarding a cruise ship. The shuttle picked us up from the airport promptly, and upon arrival we were happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, large as we expected from previously staying in a BW+. The breakfast buffet was busy, but they moved people through efficiently and kept the food stocked. The location is conveniently right next to some shopping, so we were able to walk to Target and pick up some last minute cruise ship supplies. All in all I would stay again anytime.

"Good value"

5
tripsherri, Mukilteo, Washington 28/12/2015

This was super convenient, right off of I5. The restaurant was tasty, the omelette bar was a nice surprise in the morning. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only disappointment was the low flow shower head!

"Handicapped Travelers - DON'T STAY HERE!"

1
coasttraveler, NEW PROVIDENCE 10/12/2015

If you are a handicapped traveler, skip this hotel. All their "so-called" ADA amenities are not at all true. As a wheelchair-bound amputee who travels a lot, I always call ahead to insure there is a room with a roll-in, wheelchair accessible shower. I called this property and was told they did have a room, they took my credit card and confirmed my reservation. When I arrived, I was informed that no such room was available - I had several options: take a room with a bathtub, cancel my reservation and find somewhere else or they would attempt to find a room for me. The man who was "helping" was arrogant, rude and condecending. I flew from PA to make this a special weekend - we were going to have a big family dinner in their restaurant and I specifically was also looking for a property with a pool. I ended up at a second-rate Best Western in Auburn - no nice restaurant so we had to change that. My town car had to be redirected and my family all had to change direction and find me in another town. This is the old bait and switch - book a room and then no such room exists.

"Comfortable"

5

The location of this hotel for nearby wheyhauser aquatic center is ideal. There is great shopping nearby and Seattle is a 25 min drive. The hotel is clean, spacious and accommodating. The staff is friendly and hospitable. The price is affordable and omlets are made to order. Chill definitely stay here again, if ever in this area again.

"Unprofessional Concierge Team"

"Excellent Suites for a family getawat"

5
AnnaMarie W, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 23/11/2015

Stayed here on a weekend trip away with our 2 little kids (18m and 2.5years) Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and well sized. kitchenette was adequate and had more counter space then most we've seen, Bathrooms are tight, but clean... not super practical for more then 2 people. Their buffet breakfast is AMAZING, so many options, including an omelet bar! Pretty much everything you could ask for as breakfast options... and nice large booths and tables accommodate a family perfectly. One of the best things about this hotel is it's location!! You can take a literally 3 min walk (even with toddlers) to the mall, which has a huge arcade and indoor play area. Dennys is also a short walk and we happened to show up on a kids eat free night which was mint! Easy hwy access, which was so nice since we were exploring, and it's close enough to seattle to enjoy it being a good base to venture from at a reasonable price if you are wanting to spend a weekend around the city. We would definitely go back again.

"Know what to expect"

4
OMD1947, Anaheim, California 21/11/2015

The wife and I have gotten to where we search for Best Western because they seem very consistent. We know what to expect and on the few occasions we've had a problem, the staff was quick to remedy and pleasent about it.

"Let me tell you"

5
unirose, El Monte, California 14/11/2015

Never have stayed at a Best Western, so we weren't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, upon arrival, we were greeted by two lovely ladies at the front desk whom assisted with check in. The room we got was a decent room, bed was comfortable. Went down to the bar area, nice bartender blended a strawberry margarita and gave me a 2nd smaller glass with all the leftovers from the blender, it was like 1 1/2 drinks for the price of one! Then, I realized, oops, I forgot toothpaste, front desk provided me with some. Next day we went down for the buffet breakfast, oh my, it was great, one of the bests breakfast experience at a hotel ever! Next, we got ready to head out for the day, but, it was raining, oops again, didn't bring an umbrella, again hotel loaned us an umbrella. That night upon arrival back we decided to go into their indoor swimming pool and hot tub, amazing! Although it was wet and cold outside, that room was warm and we had a great swim and enjoyed the hot tub. During our stay we realized that hotel is conveniently located, and enjoyed our outings to a couple of the many nearby restaurants and shops, during our stay we also enjoyed the exercise room, free wifi, used laundry room and enjoyed the complimentary shuttle service to the airport. So let me tell you our experience at this hotel was excellent!

"Perfect night's sleep."

John R, Portland, United States 12/11/2015

My wife and I found ourselves in need of a place to stay much earlier in the evening than planned. I am a Diamond Rewards member of Best Western, so I always look to see what properties are close by. The first BW had only a suite that was way our of our price range. Then we called the Best Western Evergreen Inn & Suites in Federal Way, When I called, I was delighted to be upgraded from a standard room for no additional charge. Our room was very quiet, away from Interstate 5. The bed and bedding was the quality I expect from a BW property. My wife, who does not travel as often as I do loved the room. We both quickly settled in for a great night's sleep. She woke up refreshed with no back or other issues she tends to get from a hotel bed. Breakfast at this property was free as well. Made to order omelets, hot waffles and more. The only thing we did not like was the turkey sausage. On a score of 100, they were a 99.5! If you are in need of a place to stay, you could not do any better in Federal Way than this Best Western.

I don't think I could have done better choosing a place to stay on my trip to Federal Way. The staff, except for the person who was cooking the omelet, was exceptionally nice and professional. Every place inside and out of the hotel was neat and clean. My TV broke twice so they moved me to a suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Wow!!! Made my trip

Was greeted at front desk by 2 very friendly staff members. Check in was fast and we ended up with a lovely jacuzzi suite. Everything was spotless. Hot breakfast was included and we were surprised to see even an omelet bar where they were made to order. Lots of other selections as well. We will stay here again. Only downside was no hot water when we checked in at night to use the jacuzzi.

Our cruise out of Seattle was on a Friday. In order to tour Seattle, we flew in on Wednesday and this Best Western supplied a shuttle to the hotel. The next morning, they provided a shuttle back to the airport where we had reserved a rental car from Enterprise. We got a great price through Groupon and were given a suite with a living room with kitchenette plus 2 bedrooms with really comfy beds. Their breakfast was delicious. They made omlets to order, make your own hot waffles and plenty of other items. We toured all day Thursday and on Friday returned our car to Enterprise downtown. Enterprise drove us to the cruise port. We saved so much by not staying downtown and we loved our stay in this hotel.

I stayed here back in 2012 and thought it was good so booked again after arriving at SEATAC late at night. It didn't disappoint. This hotel is relatively close to the airport- about a 10 minute drive- and is very reasonably priced. Rooms are spacious and clean, a rarity for an airport hotel. If you need something near SEATAC, I highly recommend.

In order to get to a number of personal appointments over a 24 hour period without fighting rush hour traffic through Seattle, I decided to stay at a motel near the offices where the appointments would take place. I considered a number of reasonably good motels nearby, including some that would have been closer and/or cheaper. The local shuttle service offered by this Best Western turned out to be an unbeatable deal. In the end, it's a choice I'm very happy to have made. Everything worked out quite smoothly & the usual things I expect at any motel (comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, etc.) were done quite well too. I didn't explore the restaurant, fitness center, or pool, but what I did experience there I liked a lot.

"Nice Hotel"

This Best Western was modern, clean, and friendly. It should deserve a Very Good to Excellent rating by what the outside and inside look like. There is a problem with the vagrants and bums that solicit money on or around the hotel at times. Don't walk you dog across the street at the Calvary Church or park. they are sleeping all over the place. I recognize that is not the hotels problem but you think they would have the police in the area more.

"Convenient Place to Stay Before an Early Flight But..."

The Evergreen Inn/Best Western in Federal Way worked out well for us. We stayed the night before a flight for a cruise. Bed was comfortable, and we did the stay and park for $169 (though we thought it was supposed to be $149). Because we left really early on their shuttle to the airport, we missed the full breakfast. They gave us a brown bag of fruit and a roll, but they put it in the same bag so the roll was smashed. If you leave early, you may want to look for a hotel that doesn't provide breakfast since you won't be able to enjoy that anyway. The desk clerk was on her own and still did a great job. Perhaps a little more help would get people to their rooms a little quicker.

"Hot water problems and rude staff"

We reserved a one bedroom King suite with a whirlpool. The room was okay, but just not the high quality suite we were expecting. The door had a 2 inch gap under it so all hallway noise from other guests was quite loud. The door of the bathroom was not clean (someone wiped their nose on the door). The second day of our trip, the hot water quit. After alerting the front desk, she informed me that that room has had problems with the hot water. (Then why wasn't it fixed or out of order?) I explained that I reserved the room because we wanted the whirlpool, but the front desk employee simply said, "Sorry there I nothing I can do." I was very unimpressed with the employees lack of help and rudeness. We will definitely not be staying here again!

It was still a fairly good price for the hotel they just need to update the bathrooms. We paid for a whirl pool tub and it was very old and dirty I would not put my baby in it. I was very disappointed about that. That is one of the reasons we booked this room.
