Outstanding customer service ~ a BIG shout out to Bekah at check in :-D !!! She thoughtfully placed me in the "just right" room which was clean & comfortable. Fridge/micro/in-room coffee. Plenty of vanity counter space. Slept well on comfortable bed w/nice linens & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Free wifi w/ample signal strength. Arrived late & left early, but will DEFINITELY be back :-).

The Best Western in Durant, Oklahoma is a clean hotel with friendly staff. Good variety of food options for breakfast. The hotel is located in a good area with several restaurants close by. ewe have stayed there several times.

This was a very nice and updated Best Western. The rooms were clean and daily maid service was on top of the towels and coffee were replenished daily and accurately. That alone has not happened at other motels in as long as I can remember.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and location was close to everything. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend to hotel for traveling. The rooms were very clean and comfortable for the price

This is the perfect stay for anybody!!! Stephanie was the lady who checked me in and the type of room I reserved was all out, but Marissa made a way for me to be totally satisfied. It was solved quickly!! I'm funny about where I lay my head and this is definitely the perfect hotel for me!! The rooms are spacious and super clean from the ceiling to the floor!! The water is powerful and not just drizzling out!! Breakfast is on point!! I will definitely be back!!

I stayed at the Best Western in Durant, OK while my granddaughter went to the college orientation. I was very happy with location and the staff. Our room was clean but, the bathroom ceiling had some water damage that had not been cosmetically fixed. It really took away from the room's appearance.

Friendly staff and very helpful to point you in good directions to eat and or have fun in the area. If you need help in finding anything in the area that's where the staff was very helpful and even pointed out a couple of the casinos to play at and have a good time.

Everything was clean and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was great. Parking was good. It was a great location. Gas, food, and shopping were all close to the hotel. It was peaceful and quiet.

The carpet appeared new or at least very clean. The breakfast is typical fare, but very tasty. Breakfast room is pretty small, but clean and well attended. This is not a luxury motel, however it is clean and well taken care of. Nice tv, nice towels, friendly staff. Prices were a bit high for the quality, perhaps it was because of the casino event.

Our rooms were extremely clean. This is very important to me. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, Best place to stay in Durant and at a reasonable rate. We made 2 previous trips to Durant and had horrible rooms at inflated prices at each previous hotel. We highly recommend Best Western Markita.

Loved our stay here. I had actually stayed here about 20 years ago with good results so I was curious. Everything was clean and bright, the exterior areas including the pool and picnic area were wonderful!. The full breakfast was absolutely delicious-thanks Sandy. Also I love an outward entry motel so that was the icing on the cake!. Loved our stay.

If you like sticky carpet and and the smell of insecticide, this hotel will not disappoint. If you want the desk clerk to tell you that the smell didn't bother the previous patron, then enjoy the empathy!

I stay here anytime I'm in the area. Yes, it's an older property, but has been kept refurbished and updated. The office staff and everyone goes out of their way to make ones stay a pleasure. Each truly understands the meaning of customer service.

Stayed Friday night through Sunday morning. Great place to stay. Quiet, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Did not take advantage of the free breakfast. I would stay here again when traveling to Durant, Ok.

Another fun trip to Choctaw in Durant Oklahoma. Easy check in at Markita Inn Best Western. Room was perfect and even smelled great . The staff go over and above to make sure you are happy . Easy check out as well . I had forgotten my phone charger and they were happy to lend me one for the duration of the trip :)

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past six months for business travel. It is such a blessing when the front desk team remembers your name and what you like and where you like to stay on the property.

Roaches in the room I paid over 280.00 for 2 nights. With no TV because internet didn't work. And fridge wouldn't get cold. Couldn't switch rooms because it was full. And this was the convenient area for the trip we were taking. Do not waste your money.

Fast and friendly check in. Room was small, bathroom in need of repair and updating. Beds were good, ac cold and quiet. Breakfast was, well….. go to Waffle house next door instead. Rate was high for this older hotel, but on weekends little other choices here. Very good desk clerks and eager to please.

Room was clean, breakfast was biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, milk, juice and coffee. Pool was nice and clean.. no separate pool towels that I seen though. Staff was friendly.

Good breakfast, nice staff and a clean room located minutes from Choctaw Casino at a good price. The breakfast waffles are so good and they're self made. There's a seating area to eat...it's a mini restaurant.

Everything was clean. Nothing fancy, just a place to sleep which was all I wanted. Air conditioner was cold. Close to Choctaw so I didn't have far to drive. Jimmy's Egg was closer but IHOP had the better breakfast.

Anybody that rated this room five stars is obviously never stayed at anything better than a crack house. The room from the onset has been infested with flies that I cannot get rid of, the Wi-Fi has not worked all day and the front desk seems completely unconcerned. The bathroom had exactly one shower towel for use. I guess they are rationing? The air conditioner can barely keep up with the heat and overall this has been a miserable experience. For the vastly overpriced rate I paid for this room I expected and deserved better.

This motel is ok. It's old and dated. But it was clean. Well the carpet was dirty cause my white socks were black from walking on it. I believe they have a plumbing issue cause there were gnats all over the room. Also my blanket smelled like cheap strong perfume. The bed was comfortable. The price is too high for this motel. The staff was friendly. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Customer Service was great. I had unknowingly booked a smoking room on a weekend when they were sold out. When I checked in the receptionist made every attempt to get me in a non smoking room and coordinated with night staff as well. I did stay in that room the 1st night of 4 but they were able to move me early the next morning. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The building/property was quite dated and worn down but overall there was good value for the rate.

My husband I stayed one night as we were traveling from Texas to Missouri. We were not familiar with the area but did stay here. The person at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. We found the room to be very clean and hotel was quiet even though it was just off the interstate. The rate for the room was very reasonable. We will stay there again.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel close to the lake with numerous dining and shopping options nearby. Excellent staff. Exterior room access. Breakfast included. Hotel is right off the highway with easy in and out access.

Really enjoyed the stay. The staff was always very helpful. From front desk to the hostess fort the breakfast we're great. This brings up the breakfast. The good was all very good and the hostess made sure it was clean and plenty of food. Really like it the room was very comfortable and clean. Wish they could have said service every day but always provided towels when needed.

It was a pleasant overnight - clean and well maintained for an older property. I have no complaints. Access from the interstate was simple and fast yet our room was quiet. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Not 5 stars because it's not a high class resort which was fine for my purposes. The missing star does not indicate any problem.

The hotel parking was nice and clean. The room was clean and smelled so good, the bed was so comfortable. The Employees were very friendly, helpful and awesome. Breakfast was good. I highly recommend this Best Western Hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay, just had a issue with the hot water and they immediate fixed it. And there was a bulb missing in bathroom and we only mentioned it on the way out. The staff responded well. Peaceful night sleep.If in that area will be staying there. They serve continental breakfast, but they do give you an option at the restaurant next door with 10% off you bill if you show your room key..

We appreciated the friendly and attentive staff this Best Western offered. The beds were comfortable, unlike others we have stayed at. The room was clean and provided the normal necessities. The breakfast options were good too! The desk clerk, Stacie and the gentlemen taking care of the breakfast room went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Friendly, efficient staff made sure I received the best room for the best price and close to the office for my safety. It is probably just me, but the traffic kept me awake for awhile, but eventually was able to sleep through the night.

This is an older remodeled property, but don't let the exterior opening doors deter you. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and it is priced at a point those of us working away from home can afford to stay while keeping away undesirable guests. The pool is modest but nice, same with the fitness room. I would enjoy a more plush mattress, but at this price point it is comfortable. I stay here often and I must say they are consistent with their level of service and attention to cleanliness.

These workers know you are here to have fun. They recommend safe ride shares and tips for making the most of your stay! They checked on us several times to make sure all was OK! I will definitely be back to this hotel for future visits!

We stayed here because I have been pleased with Best Western hotels. Very close to Choctaw Casino and loaded with nearby restaurants. Breakfast included! The bed could be more comfortable as we like a softer mattress.

I drove in from out of state and I was not disappointed at all with my stay. However, I feel like the price was a tad bit high considering the rooms are outside-entry with guests lingering right outside at all hours of the night, even on a Thursday. That made getting a restful nights sleep a little difficult, especially after and before a 6+ hour drive. I don't really have any complaints, though! Really if I could change one thing it would be loud early-departing guests. That obviously isn't in the hotel's control, but definitely something to consider when looking for rooms because it's unclear how they're set up during the booking process.

The rooms have been remodeled and look great! Well appointed with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean! Office staff is helpful with suggestions, friendly and professional. Stayed one night passing through and slept well.

Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was clean but found a stain on the corner of the sheets. Pool was clean and fun. Would be a little nicer if they offered queen size beds but very good stay for the price and location.

This hotel was very nice allowed us to stay here the pool was closed and that no handicap rooms available front desk also advised me after checking in that there was going to be an additional $75 hold on my credit card for any incidentals and that was not brought up at a time of booking. the rooms were very clean the hotel staff was available for any additional assistance that we needed the following morning and we had no issues on this Room

Rooms was clean, bed was comfortable, easy access to restaurants. Will be staying there again. Pool wasn't open due to Covid protocols. Motel grounds was clean. Fellow tribal member owned was a plus! ❤️

Started with a phone call to ask questions and to verify my reservation that I accidentally made through a third party. Found out the third party had made two reservations for me. With the help of Marissa, I was able to cancel the original reservation through the third party and make a new reservation that was actually cheaper!!! She went above and beyond to help me and it was a busy holiday weekend. Did not have one issue during our stay. In fact, my family and I enjoyed it more than than previous hotels we stayed at. It was super clean, had all the amenities and very courteous staff!!

Everything was very good with this property. Very friendly and quick staff at check-in and check-out. Quiet location but centrally located. Close to shopping and restaurants. Clean rooms with working amenities. No issues.

We stayed here six nights during a visit to the area and really liked this hotel. Being able to park right at your front door is SO convenient! It was also on the main drag thru town, a couple blocks from the Interstate, with great restaurants all around. The folks in the front office were very courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Staying away from home to complete a job is always interesting, never knowing what to expect from the rooms and location, but I've found Best Western to be consistent in their value and convenient locations. The rooms are always clean if not impeccable, and the rewards program comes in handy during vacation time.

Older motel style with easy park in front of your door. Super clean room (i really had to search to find any dust). Comfortable beds, everything worked fine. Super friendly and helpful reception upon checkin and checkout. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Felt very comfortable & safe. A lot places to eat close by & pharmacies & Walmart, dollar stores, just overall great ! So many eating places, I would say are within walking distance. Just be very aware of the traffic. And close to Chocktaw Casino...approximately 10 miles.

This Best Western offers an ease of use with parking, use of vending machine, laundry and clean rooms. The attitude of all the employees made this stay memorable as they would help solve any problem of question asked of them. I would definitely come back and vacation here!

Very friendly staff and the hotel had all of the requisite amenities. The hotel was full, but we were never bothered by noise, and I am a light sleeper. The property appeared to be well maintained. The breakfast was minimal due to current Covid-19 restrictions, but they still managed to provide a decent spread.

The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. But we thought that the property was below the standard that we expected. The desk clerk raved about the fact that the breakfast was catered by the Waffle House next door. But we found the scrambled eggs to be dry and barely lukewarm. The breakfast room is very small considering the number of rooms in the hotel. We'll try a different hotel next time.

we were dismal about the casino being all booked up . so we looked online and found this cozy spot and cheap too.! reserved online and didn't have to pay until check in. so saved us some extra money for the tables lol good luck

The rooms here have recently been remodeled and are very nice! Sheets and towels also are of good quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, this was one of the best included breakfasts we've experienced. This is a great value and a nice location, if you're headed to the casino.

Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Free shuttle to the casino and back. Smoking rooms provided in wing by itself. Laundry facilities kept clean and vending machine with a variety to pick from. Plenty of places to eat that are within walking distance.

Great price! Breakfast area was clean and the food was warm! Non smoking room does smell like smoke though...Staff was great at keeping room clean and fresh towels. Everything worked and the internet was strong!

I stayed here for my birthday and asked for the best suite I could get I was offered one with a living are and more but ended up getting a different room. The front desk lady apologized and gave me a very small discount. Also while we were sleeping we got a call at 1 am saying there was a disturbance complaint of children yelling in our room. First off the office is right below us they knew we didn't have children and they could have walked up to the outside of our room and heard nothing! Because we were trying to sleep!

An older "motel" with a caring staff. The units have rooms on the small side--wife called them "compact"! Very convenient to the casino and concert venues with concert weekend shuttle buses. (Park in casino garage day of the concert and take shuttle RT back to the hotel). Having a first-floor room with car parked feet away from the door makes the room shortcomings tolerable. The five stars are for the staff--they make all the difference! If you smell fried chicken, it's because KFC is 60 ft. away....

This is a great location when you want to go to the casino. I have stayed here many times and will continue to return. All employees were friendly and helpful. This hotel is just past the casino and near several fast food restuarants.

upon check in we were given a key and on the sleeve the room nbr was 186 however, when we opened the door, we walked in on man and wife watching TV and in night clothes!!! This could have turned into a violent situation if the man had a weapon and chose to use it! I apologized profusely and walked downstairs to chew the hotel staff out. Overall the room was very nice, it was not our first choice as we use another hotel brand. But all other surrounding hotels were sold out so we had no choice due to an unexpected storm arose during our visit in Durant Oklahoma. Breakfast was good for the limited selections available. I would have given it 3-4 stars if the wrong room key did not happen. We stayed in the Executive Suite the only room available but very spacious, nice room. A little overpriced for Best Western but I think it was due to College weekend so perhaps why higher priced than usual.

Hotel was older, but very clean, everyone was helpful and very nice, breakfast was very good, excellent value. Only about 5 miles from Choctaw casino, much better value for your money than Choctaw and a very good,free breakfast.

The lady that checked us in was super friendly and kind. The room was very clean. The free breakfast could use a bit of help but it's there for you. The beds are just ok. Kind of hard we like soft beds. We would definitely stay there again.

We went to a concert at Choctaw casino and stayed here. Hotel was very clean. Rooms were very nice. We only waited a few minutes for the free shuttle to the casino. I would recommend this hotel. They also have a pretty extensive free breakfast, it's not just cereal and fruit.

This is one of the cleanest BW I have ever stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised, Durant was my stop on my way from Houston to Tulsa. Durant is not a large metro, but it has everything you could need.

I was pleasantly surprised with the clean and relatively spacious rooms. My preference would be for a little softer mattress and pillows, but everyone has their own preferences for that. The staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. The free breakfast made the stay very good value for money, and it was plentiful and satisfying with quite a lot to choose from.

Upon seeing the hotel is looked very dated and thought is was going to be a disaster. BUT even though it was dated it was VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. Check in was fast and pleasant. We would definitely stay again.

As always it was an excellent stay. The rooms are fresh and clean including the smoking rooms. The breakfast was hot, fresh fruit, lots of varieties, and clean area, and all the staff was super excellent!

We enjoyed our stay, staff was friendly send extraordinary, that were very helpful and even made sure we got to out concert on time since the shuttle was running late. I would defenetly recommend thr stay here and we will be back

Our room was so overpowered with deodorizer it made my eyes water. Guessing to cover up smoke smell. We were told there was a free shuttle but the shuttle is not operated by the hotel and when they called for it we waiting over 45 minutes to be picked up and almost missed the concert we were there to see.

Coleen, April, and Tim were the greatest! We were treated as if we were millionaires! Any request we made was acted on immediately. We have never stayed anywhere before that we were treated so great. I truly don't believe that a 5 star motel, which would be much more expensive, could have treated us any better! Your other Best Western Motels should take lessons from these three people!!! We enjoyed it so much we are already planning out next stay.

Only stayed 1 night. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was very nice but the hotel is a bit out of date. Our room was hot and the air only cooled it down a little. The room seemed clean but when we opened the refrigerator there was half eaten icecream inside. There is a shuttle to take guests to the casino but the wait is 30 minutes or longer. It's not a horrible hotel but it is the worst Best Western that I have stayed in. I consider the Best Western chain to be a step above what this hotel is. That said the staff are very helpful and friendly and breakfast was good!

We have the need to stay in handicap rooms. We stayed at the Best Western Markita for one night. For us budget mined travelers all our needs where met. Parking right in front of room. Clean room, even to the TV control being in a pouch. ( we know that TV controls have more germs on them than anything )Breakfast room is on the smaller side, yet stocked with the usual motel breakfast stuff and we where sanctified to start our day. Cant comment on the pool, as we did not use it. If we are ever in Durant again, we will stay there.....

I'll keep it short and simple. Room was pricey for the location. Staff was very friendly! The 3 stars is due to the old musty smell that was in the carpet. Other than that the appearance of the room was clean but slightly dated.

We were in town for the Mark Martel concert. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Room was clean and no problems. The staff was very nice and very accomodating. They even had a shuttle to take us to the show and back.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and even when we moved furniture looking for a lost ring we didn't encounter any hidden trash or dirt. Shuttles to the Choctaw were convenient. Marissa was very helpful.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Bed was comfy and pillows were fluffy and ample. Hotel is in a good location right off Main St. close to Wal-Mart and many eating establishments. Very nice pool, clean area, just wish it wasn't in the middle of parking lot. Considering size of hotel, I guess it is in the most central location. All in all, good experience, will do again if I go back to Durant, Oklahoma.

We booked here off of Priceline. Wasent much left. Decided to go to the concert more of a last minute decision. But will admit it was better then the last time we stayed. Beds were so so. Breakfast the attended was busy eggs were dry. They get it from the restaurant next door. May stay here again

Only non-smoking room available was handicap. Room was fairly spacious, and clean. It was the last room on the end, in a quiet corner. Parking was tight. Lot of workers with big trucks! Only had two bath towels, but no problem to get another from housekeeper in the morning. Bed was very firm, and pillows not soft. Not to my liking, but some folks like a firm mattress. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. We chose to eat at the waffle cafe next door. Staff was friendly and helpful. Outside areas are neat and tidy. I would stay here again.

It was ok it's a older property. Bed was hard and did not sleep good .was noisy around us . Had a big piece of toliet paper in peep hole in door. Chair had weird looking stain and tryed to flip cusion over was worse. Stop serving free breakfast at 9 which is a bit early .

Nice well maintained hotel. With a great breakfast. omelettes . Quick drive to Choctaw Casino, Lake Texoma, and downtown Durant., extremely friendly staff. Very efficient.Left my keys and my hate in room at checkout. No fuss getting a key to get back. One of the best hotels in town.

Breakfast was good even though I got there five minutes before it stopped . Staff were super nice and helpful. My room was clean. Night shift clerk was so nice she moved my room closer to the office as I was a single female traveling alone. That's true concern and great people.

We stayed at this hotel after a concert. Staff were super helpful with all our questions and gave us all our options on how to get to and from the casino. The room was clean. It was close to a lot of the businesses in Durant.

This is my second stay and the property is clean, the staff is friendly and the hotel is close to the Southeastern campus. The rooms were a nice size. I will definitely stay here again in the near future.

Facility is average for a mid-priced motel. It is clean and comfortable. What sets it apart is the fantastic staff. I've never been treated better. Not even at 4 star hotels. Both Brenda's, Marrissa (probably got her name wrong) and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful. They are the reason we will stay here again.

This is a great hotel to spend the night (or 2). All aspects of this hotel was excellent. It is run like a welll-oiled machine. Check-in and check-out were expeditious. Room was small, but clean and well supplied with amenities. I loved sleeping on the firm mattress; got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious. They get their food from the Waffle House next door. The waffles were light and fluffy. Very smooth going down!! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Front hello was good, breakfast average, and room average. Arrived early, got to room early. Front desk receptionist was very polite and allowed us to enter room before checkin. Room was cold but heated up well after thermostat was turned up. Bed was average. Breakfast the next morning did not have a lot of variety, but ok for a motel. Could have been warmer. Convenient in and out off of main highway. I would stay again. For the value it was average.

Stayed one night. Room was ok, towels and toiletries good. Web site clearly states there is a 24 hour free shuttle to casino but it is only on weekends. Very disappointing that a Best Western Brand would do this. BRENDA was nice at check in.

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay that was close to the Choctaw Casino, we had stayed at Best Western hotels in the past and figured this one would be a good choice. The prices was reasonable but we did have a few issues. 1. We are an elderly couple and were placed on the second floor, normally this would not be an issue but this location does not have an elevator so were had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs. 2. Shuttle service to the Casino is available however the other area hotels share this service so you may be on the shuttle for a while while it makes its rounds. 3. The carpet in our room was disgustingly filthy and grungy, our feet left black dirty prints in the shower. We would not stay here again or recommend this location to anyone.

Traveling through to Illinois and what a pleasure it was to stay there, friendly staff, clean and cozy room. I would recommend this hotel to everyone one. It will be hard to find one to even come close.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Facility should easily handle large groups in booking as there are two separate buildings of rooms. Our room was plenty large with King and nice TV. Room did hint that Non-Smoking could have perhaps been abused at some point, but unfortunately, it happens. Plenty of parking space was a plus also.

I was looking for one night motel after a long drive. Pulled in without reservation and was taken care of with out any hassle. The place appears to be well maintained with parking near the rooms. Mine was on second floor and there isn't an elevator. The room was very clean looked recently updated. I had two full beds linens were clean and crisp with three huge pillows. The TV worked but limited channels. I didn't try the internet but was listed as available. Shower had good water flow and plenty of hot water. The place in near the highway no noise was heard. There are several places to eat within walking distance. The BW is located a few miles from the Choctaw Casino and there is shuttle provided to and from the motel.

We are so pleased with our stay. My mom and her boyfriend stayed in one room and my boyfriend and I stayed in a another. It was for my moms birthday the staff made sure we were right next to each other. My moms boyfriend asked the staff if they would decorate their hotel room for her birthday while we were at the casino and they did a fabulous job! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks!

This property is one of my go to place between Houston and Tulsa. The staff is always helpful and rooms are always clean and comfortable. There is a waffle shoppe on property and a outdoor pool. Other restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed here for one night so we could attend a concert. It was in need of a little updating, but overall, it was clean. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the main area could use some added attention, but there were a few items in there. It wasn't a top notch hotel, but a good one night stay hotel.

There is plenty parking for a Motel....The room was clean and the furnishings were in good shape.....The Beds were comfortable....the shower had a good amount of pressure and hot water was readily available.....The staff was friendly and helpful....This Motel had a good breakfast bar. The facility was very convenient to a major highway

The BW Markita Inn in Durant, OK. is our home away from home when we travel to Durant or any other destination when we take our road trips. We can depend on BW to provide a good value, clean rooms and caring, professional staffs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was easy to get tto and very close to shopping and restaurants. The Waffle House next door was a good place to eat. Checking in and out wax a breeze. I am planning on staying there again in June and possibly August.

This Best Western is a stones throw from the Casino with a shuttle that gives you a round trip whenever your ready to go. Hotel is clean, up to date, hot water, fridge, comfy beds, friendly staff, breakfast. What more could you ask for. Just Book it! Great value!!!

Flip flopping on the 3rd star because NO WATER pressure and the pool availability. On the 2nd deck of the separate bldg. Breakfast was ok but better because it was free. Shuttle service was ok. Bedding was clean, I checked. Rooms are dated and stained but room was ok, except the shower. Good for a flop but I feel it was also just ok for the price.

My husband and I stay here when we visit Choctaw. It may look a bit old from the outside, but it's very nice on the inside. Rooms are clean and have been remodeled. The breakfast is THE best. Made to order omlettes, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy. Oh if you come in late from the casino, there's a Waffle Shop next door. Friendly staff too.

Everything was about as perfect as could be. My husband and I even stayed one night more than planned and really didn't want to leave! Bed was so comfortable, with no hallways there were no loud people walking in the hallway keeping us up.

The building looks old, but with recently remodeled interior. The walls are thin, so there was plenty of noise from people talking in the parking lot, the adjacent rooms, and the highway traffic. Luckily, my wall mounted heat & air unit had a "constant fan" setting that helped a bit during the night. The room was clean, with a refrigerator, microwave, and iron/board. For some reason, both channels of one national news network were muted on the cable TV. Not sure if that was on purpose or accidental. Breakfast was decent, with both hot and cold items. The price with AAA discount was very good. I would recommend this place, if you are a heavy sleeper.

Price is reasonable, super clean and friendly, helpful staff. Parking is limited so get there early. Shuttle bus to casino drops you off right at your door. Already have rooms booked for 2 more occasions.

It was a very pleasant stay. Super clean rooms and speedy check in. It was easily located for all in town needs, also was very quiet. The linens smelled very fresh and clean.The breakfast had a good variety of hot bar as well as continental.

Second time I have stayed there. Rooms are clean shower is clean and hot. Wifi is open just ok and I would not count on much of a breakfast. Parking lot is well lit and rooms are secure. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Best I could find for the price.

Very basic hotel (not a bad thing) with exterior access. The doors open to the parking lot, but it's actually in a U-shape, so there is some added security there. Amenities are few. You get a clean room, decent TV, coffee maker. The staff was very nice and friendly. They helped arrange for the shuttle from Choctaw Casino, which we weren't aware of, and made our trip much better. It's about 10 minutes to the casino. We would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at this Best Western several times. Love the location and all the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The beds are really comfortable. Will stay here in the future. Breakfast was great it has everything you could want.

We requested a non smoking room. It was a very clean room, pleasant air freshener, comfortable bed. Hotel employees were very helpful. The location was great since we had concert tickets at Choctaw Grand Theater. We will definitely stay at the Markita Inn again.

I typically do not stay at Best Western hotels because I don't like the motel feel that this property has via the photos. However I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in great condition, the rooms are clean and smell fresh. The staff was outstanding starting with the reservations department to the breakfast attendants. Will return if we are ever in that area.

Nice hotel. Stay here every time I'm in Durant. Rate a little pricey but CLC helps. Rooms are well maintained and comfy beds. Staff helpful. Only prob was not theirs, someone's car alarm went off 3 doors down for 15 minutes

I stayed here over a weekend on a recent business trip. Parking is nice since you park right in front of your room. The hotel itself is somewhat dated. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. They have smoking and non smoking rooms so make sure you let them know which you prefer.

Good motel for a business stay. It was clean, had a good breakfast with friendly staff. When your on a business trip, everyone needs somewhere with good internet connection, comfortable bed with peace and quiet. You can get all those at this location.

The Durant Best Western Markita Inn has become our benchmark to judge all other BW's where we stay when on our roadtrips. The staff is professional, caring and friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the morning breakfast offers a nice selection of freshly prepared items. The property is well maintained which is a good sign of a caring management/owner. We always are guest at the BW Markita when we vist Durant, OK.

Walls are thin as well a hearing everything outside and upstairs. The room was clean but the bed was so uncomfortable the we didn't get much sleep. The shower had low pressure as well as the spray patter was hard to get much water for a good shower.

Very good option for staying in Durant for concerts at the casino. We love to stay here when we are staying in Durant. We have stayed here before and always try to book a room here when planning to stay in Durant again. Love the complimentary breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are something you don't find at other hotels.

took 2 showers and last one was ruff.....water still hadn't drained. also the breakfast was ok, coffee not very good and the items were not in stock to other Best Westerns I stayed at. I won't stay at this Best Western again and will not recommend any of my friends or family. after writing this I bet I won't even get a response from anyone. It was not very enjoyable stay at this hotel, even my son was disappointed in this hotel.

A very convenient location, close to the highway and restaurants yet very quiet. Friendly staff that answered all my question. Big selection for the hot breakfast that was included. Rates are less than half the price of the indian casino hotel just a few miles down the road.

The room is spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. It is a large facility with 2 buildings but was quite. We had an outside entrance, parking right at our door. We didn't have to walk along distance to reach our room. This was very handy, my husband has diabetes neuropathy in his feet so walking is difficult. The sausage gravy is BAD.. As you could tell they still had a large pan of it left at the end of breakfast. Just serve regular white gravy. The biscuits were fair. You might offer some "light" yogarts would be nice. The TV should always be on the weather channel or local news when people are traveling that is important information.

The staff is very nice and seem to take concerns and issues seriously. On this stay, Room 258's door did not shut correctly and was very, very hard engage Security lock. Air Conditioner had water leak/condensation on the carpet after running all night. Carpet needs to cleaned as the bottom of my white socks turned black after couple of trips around the room. The furnishings/bedding/bathroom all were clean. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. These things were disappointing but not enough to make me leave. I advised the front desk at check out.

Very Affordable, surprisingly quiet, with a nice clean room. Great, super friendly staff. Bus to take you to Choctaw Casino. This was our second trip here, definitely will stay again. Several places to eat within walking distance.

I stayed here on July 23, 2017. Check in went fine got to my room and had no cell service. went to the office and the girl at the desk laughed and said "You're in Oklahoma". Not really what I wanted to hear. I had to drive a few miles to pick up a signal. She said people with Sprint always had problems there. The second issue was with the lack of customer service. I got up early and went to the casino and was running hot on a poker table. I called the front desk and asked to keep my room another night. When I left the hotel (this was a monday morning) there were about 6 cars and trucks in the entire parking lot. The girl at the desk told me that my particular room had already been reserved for that evening and that I needed to get my stuff out by 11am, checkout time. It was about 10:15 when I called. I asked if they could put the other reservation in a similar room since the hotel seemed to have plenty of vacancies, and she told me no. I asked if i could just run back and put my stuff in a different room and pay for that one, and again she said no. I needed to check out, and come back after 3pm and register as a new guest. So I left the poker room, went back and got my stuff and checked out, and will never go to another Best Western again. The customer service was pathetic.

The staff was very friendly and it was comforting to know the police patrolled the area regularly since we were moving and had a truck load and car load of possessions.The breakfast was really good, found something for the young and the old.

Loved this Inn. On a road trip, was able to get reservations for the night. Very easy check in. The ladies at the front desk gave me information about our stay before I asked. Told us about the shuttle to the casino. We've stayed in Durant before but always at the Choctaw Casino hotel which is expensive. The drivers were fabulous and it was so easy and simple we will definitely do this again. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Very simple but nice at a great price.

Everything here was great, from the friendly check in to our Suite (it was really sweet!) We didn't get to use the pool because we got there a lil later than expected. We only stayed 1 night for a concert. We would definitely stay here again. You will also get a discount at the Restaurant next door!

I stay here 2-3 a month sometimes for business. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is not that great. They have truck parking and walking distance to many restaurants and stores.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to several businesses and eating places. The hotel itself need some updating and remodelling , but staff very helpful and prompt. The room was outdated but the beds are very comfortable.

Needs refurbishing. Older hotel with lots of construction workers taking up rooms and parking. All doors open to parking lot. Just my daughter and me and I did not feel very safe. Could not regulate shower temp. Bed was ok. Was told this was the best hotel in town as casino was booked.

Went above and beyond to help us retrieve our left behind items. We live over 6 hrs away and realized we left our hang-up clothes and they offered to ship them to us and charge our card on file for the shipping expense

I loved the location of the hotel. They have a shuttle Friday and Saturday all hours of the night for the casino! Nice clean pool. The I was very impressed by the free breakfast. When I first pulled up I was expecting the hotel to look More appealing on the outside but once I went into the lobby and then into my hotel room the appearance definitely changed! If I ever make it out to Oklahoma again I will be staying here!

This motel has really stepped up in its style and decor. I also noticed how friendly everyone that works there is at all times. The price is very fair and the free breakfast is great. The shuttle takes you right to the casino and brings you back. I love to see the new updates the company makes each time we stay. FYI The Waffle Stop next door has great specials and they are super nice as well!

Will not return or recommend, book the room over Memorial Day weekend and for the price it was not even close to being accommodating. The T.V. Had maybe 40 channels. And on the 2nd day of my stay the toilet backed up. I had thrown coverages butts in it, because I'm not one to throw them on the ground and when I contacted hotel staff the guy working the desk was very rude and threatened me with a $250 fine for smoking in the room. I explained I hadn't and in all honesty he acted as though he could care less. The room smelled very mildewed as if it had flooded in the past. Definitely was not the highlight of my trip.

Staff always nice & empathetic to guests needs!! No other comments. I would gladly recommend Best Western to my friends and family. I will use Best Western on future stays for business or leisure with family.

Property is owned by a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation and provides shuttle service to the Choctaw Casino and Theater located nearby. Road construction makes it difficult to get on the highway going in the direction you want to go

Our granddaughter was having a baby and we wanted to stay in Durant and see the Birth. Placed reservation on line and followed up with a call. Spoke with Brenda, she was very helpful and reviewed our reservation. When we checked in she told us about all the amenities. Check in was easy and fast. The room was as requested. Very clean and fresh. We stayed a few nights and fell in love with their pillows. Talked to the front desk and Brenda said that she could sell us some and she quoted us a the price. We purchased 4. Very pleased with their breakfast. Scramble Egg, Biscuit, Gravy, Sausage, Waffle, Cereal, fruit and on. Very large selection and they even had a very nice lady hovering around it to insure everything was stocked and clean. We will stay here again.

chose this hotel because co-worker wanted a smoking room. Very pleased. Room was attractive and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Casino shuttle was pleasant surprise and staff gave us good information about casino. Did not eat complimentary breakfast but would like to. Check in was easy since I booked online. Hotel was full so there was very few spots to park. There were a lot of people outside in the parking lot, most likely people staying at the hotel but I was still cautious about securing all of my property in my room. The room was kind of small. Tv was a flat screen 32" and the room had microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom was really small and my drain didn't work in the shower. The room wasn't sound proof, I kept hearing people in the parking lot and the walk way above my room. Overall I would probably find another location if ever staying in Durant again.

We stayed here because we had,enough Best Western points for a free night. Bed not great, room had an odor. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Just an old motel. Small rooms and noise from cars parked right outside. Not your typical Best Western hotel.

We stayed here for one night on march 16. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean. They served a complete breakfast. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone. Was reasonably priced, and located close to many restraunts.

Upon arrival, I mentioned that I was a Ride Rewards member and had forgotten my card, They said no problem, they would look up my number. They found that I had 2 accounts and added ny stay on the card with the most points. Then they gave me a gift bag for being a rewards member ! Two bottles of water,cookies,crackers and 2 pieces of candy ! I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns in a lot of states, and this was the first time for a gift bag. Then I got choice of rooms and I was off ! Great customer service from start to finish !

The beds were nice. The room was clean and quiet and check in was fairly quick with a very nice lady. In the parking lot with a Waffle House for your convenience but you won't hear anything once you shut your door.

I call the hotel for directions, the employee claimed that he just moved to the area a few days ago and didn't know the area. It turns out that he has been working there for over 6 months and didn't want to explain. The people in the upper room started making noise ( sounded like a brick toss) at 4 in the morning. Breakfast was excellent at the restaurant.

Was in town for a concert and found this hotel online. Arrived at hotel and was greeted by friendly staff. I was unaware of the free shuttle service offered to Casino but it was a added bonus. Room was perfect. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Room had a refrigerator which was nice also. Had the free breakfast and it was very good. I will stay at this hotel when I come back to town for sure.

The room was clean and the decor was nice. The staff was very attentive . The breakfast was not complete, during our stay. The room freshener was very strong. It may have been used to cover another smell. I'm not for sure. We left an item behind and they made sure it was retrieved and kept at the front desk for my daughter to pick up. Compared to other hotels in the area, there are other choices for around the same price range.

This hotel is wonderful. They had a hot breakfast that included fix it yourself burritos. Breakfast included waffles, yogurt, fruit, biscuits and gravy. The room was quiet and the air conditioner worked really well. They are remodeling but this does not hamper a good night's sleep.

The night before I stay at a Best Western in Texas. We stayed in Durant,Ok the next night visiting a son that is building a new home outside Durant. What a wonderful stay.I think when he finishes his home,I will still at that Best Western hotel. The Staff real friendly. Hotel real clean not new ,but still nice. They own restaurant next Doors,people friendly and nice. They have a waitress helping you in morning fixing your food.A must place to stay.

We stayed here the night before fishing on Lake Texoma and were pleased with the facility. The desk clerk was very friendly and chatty and made us feel at home. Our queen room was on the second floor. It was on the small side but was clean and looked newly redecorated except for the bathroom. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, the cable TV worked and the Wi-Fi was good.Breakfast is served in a very small room off the office but is well stocked with more than jus the typical donuts and store bought bagels. There were biscuits and gravy as well as a do-it-yourself burrito bar. There were many construction and oil-field workers there but it was quiet. The outside of the place doesn't look like much and the rooms open to the outside. The price was reasonable and we found that booking directly with the motel offered the best rate.

I was looking for a hotel in Durant, as we were attending the Kevin Hart concert at the casino. Most places had their room rates bumped up for that weekend. I found BW to have reasonable rates. The staff was very friendly from the from desk to construction contractors just walking through the parking lot. The rooms were nice, the beds were great. There free breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The had scrambled eggs with many things to add to them such as cheese, jalapenos, mushrooms, salsa. The also had sausage patties and biscuits and gravy! Plus all the other stuff, cereal, waffles etc. We were pleased with our stay and would stay here again when in Durant.

We stayed on a Saturday night, as we were going to a concert at the casino. We arrived about 30 minutes before check-in time, but our room was ready. The room had a strong chemical smell as mentioned in some other reviews. It didn't warrant a formal complaint, though. The A/C worked, but the room had an overall muggy/humid feel to it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They called for a shuttle for a large number of us going to the casino and offered bottle water while we waited. For a one night stay, it was just fine. We didn't want to pay a lot for a room, so this was perfect.

Place was clean but the bathrooms were the same from the time the place was built in the 60s or 70s. It's got the doors on the outside if that bothers ya u won't like it. Needs a good carpet cleaning or replaced. The breakfast has a fair amount of selection will admit the first place I seen to make burritos. The biscuits were hard and left uncovered. Was able to hear the people upstairs walk around all night. Might stay again depends on what I get again off of Priceline

This is an older hotel located just off US 75 in Durant. The property is kept up nicely although it is showing its age from past renovations. The office is spartan but fresh and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and odor free with a great big screen tv, comfortable bed, microwave, fridge and work area. The internet worked fine and the shower/dressing area was spotless. Finally, the breakfast was a little different as the hotel has a restaurant on the premises in an adjacent building and you are provided a voucher good for credit or three different kinds of freshly prepared meals. Finally, the property is next to a busy roadway and there is some traffic noise that is easily tuned out by running the air conditioning fan.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the overall quality of the motel. the bathroom and the breakfast area were too small we always choose best western because of their quality but this fell far short I will still use best western in the future but not this one

Clean, comfortable, very close to restaurants and shopping, good breakfast, and reasonable price, what more do you need? It is not new or especially fancy, but if you want a good night's sleep without breaking the bank, it fills the bill very well.

the desk clerk was very rude. my stay was prepaid, but i still had to pay with my credit card. the room had two dbl beds not two Queen. The shower head was aful. The room was clean and needed updating.

Based on all the gushing reviews, perhaps our stay was not the norm. The room had a disgusting odor, like maybe a cleaning solution to cover something up. There was an ironing board that couldn't be collapsed that was taking room that could have been more aptly used for our stuff. I am calling this place average because it is a basic BW, not a Plus or Premier. They did give me a discount when I mentioned the gut wrenching odor. This place made me appreciate all the nice hotels I have stayed in.

Used the room to stay on the first leg of a trip and it served its purpose. Breakfast about 9 when we got there was a bit old but still tasted good and nothing beats waffles. Overall recommend it staying in the Durant area if nothing else for the casino.

This stay was for business. I like B.W. Hotels, as I never get surprises. They have always been a good experience and this location was exactly what I expected - a Good Experience!! At check in, the lady checked my rewards points & determined I was entitled to a free night! This was a pleasant surprise! She was "on the ball" !!! I would stay here again !!!

Staff tries to do the best. Crowded location caters to workers. Breakfast is from next door waffle restaurant. This was an overnight stop and couldn't find parking next to room. If you try to get breakfast before 8AM expect to wait

My husband and I booked reservations for the 4th of July weekend. The day we were suppose to check in we arrived a lot earlier then expected. We always stay at The Markita Inn when we go to Oklahoma, so we waited for a room to become available. We didn't have to wait long because one of the staff members Brenda Wells heard of our situation and upgraded us to a Suite at no extra cost. I highly recommend the Markita Inn. Thank you

This is a great hotel! You definitely can't go wrong with the price! The pool is great, bed is comfortable and the staff is over the top! If you can live without room service, bellman and crowds and just want to relax and have a great time this is definitely the hotel in Durant!

A very good breakfast and very friendly staff at the Best Western in Durant, OK. If the breakfast area is busy near the close time, they will stay open to accommodate all guest. A real treat. Rooms are comfortable, however wifi somewhat spotty. The location of this hotel is very good for those that want to access the Choctaw Casino or Lake Texoma. Many food establishments nearby the hotel.

We did not stay here. Upon our arrival, we received somewhat slow but friendly service. We walked into the room, which looked great, with three crisply made beds. However, we were hit with a strong chemical odor. I did not feel safe keeping my children there and we asked to be checked out immediately. We were accomodated without charge.

We love how spacious, beautiful and clean it was. We had not stayed here prior to the renovations, but they have done an excellent job in adding everything someone could need in one room. The pool was beautiful and also a gazebo area with picnic table in the back. They've done an excellent job and complimentary breakfast had so many choices! Def, our only place to stay and with the best rates and amenities we've every encountered. Nothing but great thing to say.

Best Western Markita Inn in Durant, OK has a great location if you aren't lucky enough to have comps at the casino. It is easy to get to and from the casino. Also, there is a shuttle that runs, but we did not use it. Hotel was clean and offers a complimentary breakfast. Bed was comfortable. It is an older property, but clean.

Went to a concert at the Casino. Hotel at casino over 2x Best Western rate. I'm Diamond level, so I stay at BW a lot. Great people at check in. Room had a slight odor and staff immediately moved us no questions asked. Provided free shuttle to casino and back and free breakfast. Hotel is being remodeled and would highly recommend the property once that is done.

I had my pageant here in Durant over the weekend. After a long drive from Texas I was more than ready to crash. The two ladies at the front desk(Friday night 5/20) was more than helpful! And the lady who works the breakfast is a joy, and puts a smile on everyone face that walks in! Thanks for making my first trip to Oklahoma a pleasant one! I'll definitely will be back.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and definitely recommend it. The staff was very kind and attentive. It was a group of 8 and we were there to volunteer at a nearby clinic. Since we had to be up really early the staff offered to have breakfast out around 4 am. So kind! Very clean and quiet area. Definitely will use Best Western again.

Other than the worse food in the country....the place is very convenient. Currently upgrading the grounds as each visit, there is always something new or cleaned up. Very nice people. They just need to fix the restaurant, it's just such cheap food.....

Staff was friendly during check in & it was obvious the lobby was being remodeled it was Chaos when we walked in. We asked for a Non Smoking room & was told the rooms were remodeled. We only stood 1 evening for $83; due to business in Durant area. In my opinion it was over priced considering the condition & stench in the room was seriously overwhelming. The room wreaked of Stale Smoke; Furniture very outdated; carpet had stains; bathroom floor had long black hair all over; toilet seat needs to be seriously replaced; it was in very bad shape. The Comforter on my bed had burnt Cigarette holes on it; to me thats unacceptable. It did come with free Breakfast & the food at the Restaurant next door Waffle Restaurant was good & waitress was very nice. As for the hotel & someone with serious allergies; No I cannot recommend this hotel.

Extremely nice rooms with even nicer associates. Definitely the only place I will stay when traveling in this area. The quality of stay has been unmatched by any other hotel in the area and is extremely comforting to know when I come down for work that it is like coming home.

Anyway you try to spin it, this motel is no more than a solid 3. It is an old structure and very much dated. The commode/bathtub room is unbelievably tiny and there is only one low wattage light in an exhaust fan housing to illuminate the area. If you shave in the shower like I do, good luck with being able to see where you're shaving. We did bring up the issue with the desk clerk, but was told that the maintenance person told them there was nothing that could be done. Also, the sink faucets were loose, and the water pressure was very low. The floor structure was such that we could feel it when someone was walking in a room next to us or on the catwalk outside our door. I will say that the desk clerks were very pleasant and tried to be helpful, and the rooms were clean. I don't know what kind of room rate the market will support in Durant, OK, so it may be that the $70/night rate is a fair price for what you get. However, I would normally expect nicer lodging from a member of the Best Western chain.

The room was very clean and updated. I wasn't expecting the room to be so nice given the price and the outer appearance. They had a new flat screen tv, refrigerator, microwave, newly updated bathroom. We will plan to stay again.

Very friendly staff. The weekend breakfast bar was basic but good. They said that during the week, they give you a voucher for the Waffle Shoppe (like Waffle House, but instead of a House, it's a... Shoppe?) across the parking lot. That would be a nice incentive to come during the week! A great alternative to staying at the casino hotel when going to a concert. Only downside was that the wifi didn't really work that well. Also, our door was a little messed up - someone had obviously tried to break in at some point in the past. But they didn't get in - the door frame was cracked, but not broken. That tells me they put in a good frame in the first place!

We stayed one night in the only executive suite, located directly above the lobby in a separate area. Although the room and bathroom were clean, the building, room, and furnishings were quiet old. Though it's adequately maintained it's just badly out of date. Hasn't been refurbished in many years. PLUSES: -Staff was friendly and helpful. -Room was clean -Bed was comfortable. MINUSES: -Room entrances are on the outside. -Located in a not so nice area (though Durant doesn't have any "nice" areas) -No HDTV programming. -No onsite breakfast, you're given a pass for a minimal breakfast at a Waffle Shoppe located in the parking lot between the hotel's two wings. -There's a highway overpass about 100 yards behind the hotel and every time an 18-wheeler crossed the overpass a loud rumbling noise boomed through our room. Don't know if that happens to the other rooms. -Overpriced for what it is. Though there are several other newer hotels within several blocks, they're priced significantly higher... the Choctaw Casino and Resort just down the road is the attraction driving pricing. If price is your main criteria, and you're staying only a single night, then this place will do. Otherwise, I'd pick one of the several nearby newer hotels.

This place provided big truck parking, was easily accessible of the road. great smoked ribs across the road, MacDonald's, KFC, etc very close and Walmart just down the road. Looks like ownership is always doing improvements which is different than most who let their property run down. Has a outside pool(wasn't in operation as it was cold out for pool activities but looks nice. I saw they have a outside barbecue area for guests also. Overall, the staff are great, the facility is nice

This hotel is very clean, nice price and very helpful staff. Comes with a good breakfast and a Waffle House next door if you prefer that instead. Many places to eat nearby and located right next to interstate hwy.

I have stayed at this particular hotel 3 times, the 1st time was about 8 years ago and had a great experience then. I will continue to stay here when passing through from Texas to Arkansas. The bed is super comfy. The room is very clean and I couldn't hear any noise outside.

nice place for the money close to Choctaw resort and dallas and good location to the highways. if you have best western reward points and book through trivago (which I usually do when traveling for leisure) or expedia or others....make sure your stay points are counted. I double checked before check out and they did not and had to do some work with the help there to make them count. this is not because of best western but because whom ever (trivago, expedia, etc) seem to not automatically apply your membership when staying there. I thought my name and best western account would be enough but wasn't, just happened to double check one morning and found out that a lot of times these 3rd parties don't automatically mate you to any point memberships you have. just a heads up. other than that.....nice place. not the fanciest...but everything was clean and working and breakfast was great in a good location. I would recommend.

bed was comfortable, pillows good. Clean room,s navigating into/out parking lot bad, places to eat nearby walking, stairs not even, salt for ice made it slippery after sun came out, checked in late, clerk had no problem quick, sink too low, water pressure low, water is typical oklahoma water , free breakfast at waffle house always bad, dont bother, to eat there but service was good - this crap web site TA takes forever to correct typos

TV cable not connect, telephone not working, heat/AC unit to loud to sleep if you lower it, then you will be cold. Faucet in tub would shut and blow dry did not work. Truck with trail hitch take up to much parking, they park to close to the room that we with one car have to park further due to this.

We are here on business in Durant and the company always puts us up in Best Western whenever possible. Usually they are very nice and professional, perfect for the business traveler. This place is sketchy. They have tweakers in rooms with non-stop visitors. They have guests selling tools out of their rooms. We turned on the bathroom light and a cockroach ran across the bathroom floor. We found his friends also until they called Terminix to rid us of cockroaches. The bathroom Is in a state of disrepair. The cleaning staff is good and Pam at the front desk is professional and efficient. Breakfast in their restaurant is nice and filling. Would I stay here again? Doubtful

Pamela at front desk was cheerful & helpful on the phone & even nicer in person. Older property but well maintained & updated w/flat screen TV, fridge/micro & free wifi with plenty of signal strength. Drive right up to your own door. Room #127 was absolutely spotless. Super comfortable bed w/triple sheets & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Very much appreciated the bedside lamps with easily accessible outlets for charging electronics rather than having to hunt down wall outlets. There was a wall mounted magnifying mirror by the sink/vanity which you don't often see in motels. Several complimentary breakfast options available at restaurant next door or order off the menu with $3.50 discount. Great room at a great price. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was very good for the price. Nice room, very clean, the only thing was the first night no hot water after first bather. Next night was fine though. Did not report this to hotel We would stay here again.

This Hotel is a great place to stay for the money, the staff is very pleasant, efficient. The rooms have very nice décor and the beds were very comfortable. If you are in Durant and need a great place to stay, do it here.

This is not a hotel. The staff is great. The rooms are out dated and the beds are uncomfortable. I recieved an extremely rude email from the general manager after reviewing the hotel through their own email link. I will never stay their again.

I enoyed the staff as I arrived. I enjoyed the breakfast even more. I was given a ticket for the waffle shop and the breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and very clean. I had a good nights rest. It was a good location for me to stop on my way to Tulsa.

The motel has some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Room was clean and large. The breakfast included was at the Waffle House next door, with several choices. We had eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast, it was super. The price at the motel was very good, with this kind of breakfast, it was a real value. If we ever need a room in this area, there will be only one choice. It is a short easy drive to the casino. It is quiet, comfortable beds and a really good alternative to the high priced casino rooms.

This year my wife and I have traveled through LA, MS and OK. Our experience staying at Best Western has always been positive. The friendly, helpful staffs at all of the Best Western properties where we have been guests have made our stays comfortable. So, when we travel, we always choose to stay with Best Western. Our home away from home.

Room was as expected for the price. Shower was inconsistent and things would stay plugged into the outlets. Beds were comfortable. Area was quiet until morning when the train goes by. Overall, stay was good.

The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that the room doors are outside and not inside corridor. Would be nice if website would note if doors are outside. I made reservation while on the road and was not able to cancel after arrival and noticed doors were outside. Hotel is outdated but very clean. Breakfast was OK and staff very nice.

The motel was nice. It was used as an overnight stay in which we were only in the room for about 5 to 6 hours. We checked into the room and had the front desk call for a shuttle to the casino for the concert. It took about 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive because other concert goers were doing the same thing that we did. Concert was great and we stayed and played the slots for a little while. We caught a shuttle back to the motel. Needed a snack so we are at the Waffle House there on the parking lot at the motel. After we ate we went to our room, slept really well. Checked out of the room at checkout then stopped by the front desk to hand in our key plus to tell them that the sink was stopped up and was slowly draining also the room phone was not working. All in all the stay was good and we paid for what we needed which was a room for the concert and shuttle service to and from the casino. Don't expect the Waldorf Astoria but it was nice.

Stayed here 3x in a month, spacious, no smell of smoke, no "carrying on" out in the common areas like some motels. Priced well, makes it easy to get away from Dallas for overnighters. Internet is a snap.

This is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The staff is friendly and caring. The breakfast during the week is contracted out to Waffle Shoppe co located with the hotel. I did not have the time to wait for service (already spent over 10 minutes to be waited on) so I cannot comment on the food. The hotel is conveniently located to other restaurants and shopping.

Stopped on a cross country trip and thought the hotel was a little "shady" upon our arrival there was a questionable group of people hanging out front, the room appeared clean but had a smell and seemed well worn. Prob not a good place for a female traveling alone to stay at. Defiantly a 2 star or less

We didn't got there until 10:00 PM and the place was ready for us the A/C was on 66 nice and cold had to turn it off too cold for me.. Everyone was so nice. But I asked the 1-800 # for a bottom floor but they didn't put it in the notes husband just had knee surgery in December of last you still not doing good on stairs. i still had to go up stairs. And the Waffle House was nice as will. Good Hot Breakfast before we left. I give them a 10.

Stayed there for a week and a half while working in town. The office staff was great, but I just couldn't win at housekeeping roulette. Every day was a gamble. Do you get coffee? I won that a few times. If they take your towels do you get new ones? Kinda broke even. Toilet paper? Lost more than I won. Will they take the trash out? I hit big on this once. They took the can itself and didn't return it. Does the wi-fi work? Lost my shirt betting that number. Will I have an angry maid and her children banging on my door 20 minutes before check out demanding to know when I leave? I hit BIG on that one. Why on earth would you bring your kids? No telling what kind of bad things a kid could find in a stranger's room. Amazing. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and the close proximity to food was nice. It's also reasonably priced. The have a gazebo with a grill too. Easy drive to the casino.
