Best Western Plus Columbus North Ft. Moore

I've had worse but not for awhile. Checkin took forever. There was only one person on the front desk and a line. Room was dated but relatively clean. Towels and bedding were clean but had old stains on them and were threadbare in places (towels). Bed was UNCOMFORTABLE and hard. Although there were 4 pillows on each bed, they were all tiny and lumpy. Breakfast had cereal but no milk. Bread was pretty stale and apple juice was nasty. It looked like mostly water. Staff was friendly and nice. I will try somewhere else next time.

Really wish I could have seen these awful reviews before I booked a room… because unfortunately they're spot on. First, I booked online and my card was charged, once arrived, I was also charged an additional $50 for accidental fee or whatever they call it (that's fine) BUT then they tried to charge me for my stay AGAIN telling me my card wasn't working, even after showing where my $ was taken out of my account for my stay. After that was finally resolved a “system error” was blamed. It's 3:45am now and we had stopped because we just couldn't drive anymore after a long road trip. We simply wanted a little bit of rest for my wife and I, and our two young boys… we get to our room, pull back the sheets… they're dirty.. not just a little.. they're completely stained and unwashed. I do not want to know what was on them but we went down and complained immediately, I don't care how tired I am, I'm not sleeping on someone else's who knows what, nor will I allow my kids to. We were then assigned a different room… after a check there, SAME THING! Unwashed bedding and pillow cases. We were beyond tired so we slept on top of the sheets, and used freaking tee shirts instead of the pillow cases. DISGUSTING. I've never in my life had to do this. (We captured just a few photos of the second room… which was better than the first) We slept, horribly, for a couple hours then, regrettably, decided to at least attempt the breakfast… it was just as poor and the lady who seemed to be in charge (?) was incredibly rude and closed myself and my 4 year old son, as well as another lady and her child, inside the breakfast room with no explanation. This was the worst traveling experience myself and my family have been through. I will totally avoid “Best” Western, no matter where I am, now.

This hotel does not deserve a Plus designation. We received the last room available and it never should have been rented out. The shower door was coming of the rail and the shower caulking was nasty. Shower had mildew growing in it. Yellowing around the toilet from lack of cleaning. Only reason it got a two star from me was that we were able to wash laundry. For the breakfast there was no meat served. Bare bones for $165. Go elsewhere fellow travelers-you can get more for your money from a cleaner establishment.

Hotel is centrally located in a quiet Neiborhood with easy access to shopping and highways. The Friendly Helpful staff took great care of all our needs. Rates are fare considering today's market. You should give it a try next time you are in the ara!!

The room was a good size, the room was clean. I felt safe to walk around by myself and the hotel as a whole was great. My only issues were the bathroom door wouldn't shut completely and if you want a hot shower you need to take one in the morning as we did not have even warm water in the evenings.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly. And the room was clean and nice. The food was nice but I would like to see more options. I have stayed at this hotel 7 day in last 2 months and I have had the same type of food.

This was most definitely my worst experience in a Best Western. Other than the ONE front desk gentleman this stay was absolutely terrible. Our belongings were ransacked even though we placed the “do not disturb” plaque on the door so that no one would enter our room. The shower was busted and flooded the entire bathroom if you used it. The comforter was absolutely disgusting. I mean is this not a post pandemic world?!? How are things like linens not cleaned? There was a urine stain on the wall and baseboard. I had to clean and disinfect all the surfaces of the room upon arrival. The pool is very misleading in the advertisement pictures it looks to be a large pool, and that was not the case very small. Other than the waffles breakfast was kind of gross. Not a lot of options and some things like the yogurts looked very unpleasant. We watched as rooms with do “not disturb” plaques were being entered by a housekeeper on the first morning so after that we were forced to take our valuables with us every time we left. (This was reported to the front desk and we were called liars.) As stated above our stuff that was left in the room had been gone through. This could have been a great stay, but sadly it wasn't. Location was convenient for civilian things, but was a bit of a drive time to the fort.

Overall this hotel was very good. As soon as you walk into the lobby you can smell that it is clean and the hotel itself is very nice. The staff was friendly. The only problems we had were that the lock on our bathroom door was missing (not a deal breaker for us), there was no remote for the TV (I walked down to the front desk and asked for one so, easy fix), and the breakfast wasn't great. They had eggs, make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, and toast. There wasn't any type of meat (sausage, bacon) and there was no syrup for the eggs. Overall though, the hotel was nice and clean and we would stay there again.

My family's three-night stay went well. Ms. Charlie, Moesha, and Ms. Peevy went beyond my expectations to make me feel at home. The room was clean and overall atmosphere was pleasant. The fitness center was a bit small but doable. (Most people don't go to a hotel room for the exercise anyway!) The breakfast was ok. There is hot food, more than breads and pastries.

Could not even wash of soap worth a dam. Toilet was plugged first time I flushed it was real deal breaker for a room that cost over six hundred for three days. Next time I'll stay at an air b&b don't waste your money with this place unless you just need a place to rest your head for a night.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western plus Columbus North Ft. Moore. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Columbus.

Room was clean and comfortable. Large bathroom in king bedroom. Staff were outstanding, always ready to answer questions or help other ways. Quiet area. Breakfast was a typical hotel free breakfast... waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit etc.

Very quiet, very clean. Would recommend. The staff was more then helpful. The rooms were very well cleaned . Everything I needed was where I needed it. Hopefully this helps you pick a hotel. Enjoy!!!!

For being winter the outside of property was well taken care of. Inside was very clean and taken care of very professionally. Only suggestion I have would have a few more cigarette butt containers to place butts into.

Room furniture was filthy, dim lighting, bed (had chunks of hair) and bath linen was dingy, worn and should have been discarded!!! I have stayed in hotels the world over (to include 3rd world) and this is by far the second worst. The worst was in Laurel Md outside of Ft. Meade.

Blood on the sheet TV not working properly Odd smell Hole in bath towel The front desk person was very unfriendly. He told me I could change my own sheets and keep the room with the bloody sheet. It was definitely already on the sheets before I arrived. Gross,

We can recommend this place as it was reasonably priced and our room on the backside of the hotel was quite with no road noise. The room was clean. The negatives were no decaf coffee in the lobby/breakfast area, and terrible internet. The breakfast was typical, but the serving area was tight.

The entire staff was fantastic. They get all A's in customer service. The hotel was clean and smelled clean. The complimentary breakfast offered lots of great tasty selections. The hotel room was clean and comfy. The best part of my stay was Charley. She is the Rock Star of the Best Western. Thank you Charley for being the sweet and gracious woman you are. Wendy the Nurse

This hotel was pretty nice. It was clean with friendly staff. The only drawback was my room was above an outside area that had people having a loud, good time for quite a while. The location was excellent as it was only 15 mins from the Civic Center which was a straight shot down Veterans Parkway. We didn't make it to breakfast so can't comment on that.

The front desk lady was rude Saying we had to get out of the conference room when we had booked the conference room. The ice machines on all floors were not working except one. Some of the rooms they had to be moved because the AC would not work. Very dissatisfied

The pool had not been treated the elevator had not been inspected in over two years which of course safety should be top priority. The staff seem to be bothered by any requests that needed to be made. In the overall maintenance of the room needs major improvement as the tub faucet consistently leaked as well as the toilet continuously running which can bother one who is trying to get a good night rest.

Our stay at the Best Western Columbus GA was very enjoyable. The check-in staff was helpful, prompt and courteous. They recommended several restaurants for dinner. The room was clean and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable.

Easy access and close to eating places. Very clean, hot water, easy parking. easy off on to highway, Close to Fort Benning and the Museum. Great shops in the area. Staff is very helpful. Freandy people. The Hotel is very clean. No problems with the room.

Room was nice and clean. Pillows were hard. Air did not work right. To warm to sleep. Worst breakfast I've ever seen!! The lady at the desk was very nice but she should have had someone to help her. Breakfast needs a big improvement!!

The service at this hotel was absolutely terrible. The front desk help just lounge around the lobby or were not even around. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. There was just eggs and sausage available every day.

Stayed here for a week and had a great stay. Staff we're always smiling and welcoming. Internet was fast and always connected. Will most definitely stay here again and the hot coffee each morning really helps get your day going.

Best Western "Plus"??? Absolutely not. Plus designation is misleading and inaccurate. Management should be ashamed. This hotel cuts corners and is "cheap" in all aspects. Made reservations on line. Called a week before arrival to confirm and request early check-in at 2pm, was told is noted and no problem. Day of arrival, called 3 hours out, confirmed reservation and early arrival. Get there , took us over 45 minutes to check in. We were the only ones there - over 45 minutes. Asked many times to just be let into our room while they dealt with whatever problem they were having, only to be ignored - literally ignored - no recognition, no eye contact. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. We completely missed the reason for our early check in thanks to a untrained, inefficient and rude manager. While waiting, three patrons either called or came by desk to report TV not working. We get to our room - TV not working. They do not have a regular luggage caddy. Worst check in experience of my life. Bags and clothes falling off their ridiculous excuse for a luggage cart. Both employee's and hotel patrons stopped to help us load back up the many times we had reload. Get to room - no luggage stand, No were to put bags or luggage. Shower was dangerous. Had a large depression right down the middle of the tub. A very slippery and dangerous shower. Only have Direct TV. Finding what you want to watch a headache and very annoying. Room had a disgusting, heavily stained couch. We would not even put our clothes or bags on it, let alone sit on it. Disgusting - very stained - if you know what I mean. Lastly, the worst. We stay at avg. 25 Best Westerns a year. The promised breakfast did not exist. At 8:15am, literally nothing out. Only thing was 4 burnt , old, cold, link sausages, and slices of white bread. We had to go out and spend $30.00 for our breakfast. They never once offered an apology, let alone some kind of restitution. Folks, the bad reviews of this hotel are real and should be taken seriously. This was one of, if not the worst run Best Westerns I have ever been to. I recommend staying away. BTW - No masks, by anyone. I would never stay here again.

If your concerned about personal identity don't stay there. The hotel itself is fine. It is clean, quiet, and in a good location. The issue is they make a copy of your driver's license. I do not like that at all and I have never had to have a copy of my driver's license any other place in all my US travels. If that didn't concern you then this is a good place to stay.

They were friendly not only to me, but also to my furry friend as well. If I'm in the area I will be staying there again! Even with a big youth team there it was quit and relaxing. Thank you Best Western!

The room had a terrible smell!! The room floor was very dirty with paper and dust. The tables also had dust all over them. The wall had gum on it. The bathroom had urine at the base of the toilet and on the walls around the toilet. The bathroom door did not work.

We were on our way to Florida and was needing a place to crash for the night. This serves the purpose perfectly. Room was clean, quiet, and secure, which is all we could ask for. When we travel thru again next year we will definitely hit it up again.

The deposit should be told before booking not once guests arrive. The staff seemed to be more on vacation than the guess. The young man knew nothing of what was asked to him. The lady had to run front desk and breakfast.

Parking is fine. Room was clean. There is a breakfast but it's basic at this time due to the virus. Gas station nearby. IHOP and McD's are withing walking distance. We ate at IHOP after we learned the McD's was not permitting you to eat inside. Tricky making a left to get on the road to get back to interstate. Not sure if we would stay at this hotel again.

According to the stars this hotel has, we thought it would have been better than it was. The rooms were not very clean, housekeeping was not provided during our 4 night stay, manager and staff were not professional and rude. Apparently this hotel has new owners since October, hence new staff. Reason for no housekeeping was COVID, only place I have been that didn't service rooms. So trash and dirty towels line the hallways. Very unsanitary due to the fact it was empty food containers and diapers. As for some of the staff they were not accommodating, expected the guests to be inconvenienced. We had a toilet issue, took two days to get a plunger. Then when it did not solve the problem, on the third day they wanted my daughter with 3 small children to move down the hall away from the rest of her group. Who wants to listen to kids running up and down the hall. Maintenance wouldn't do any repairs unless they vacated the room. Why make us move when you can fix the problem? What concerned me the most was the smell of Marijuana in the halls and the elevators. Obviously this hotel is not up to the Best Western Plus standards.

Took forever to check me in and just as long to check me out, only stayed one night, room had food crumbs on floor under edge of beds like it was not vacuumed correctly, and had a big burn spot in carpet. Breakfast food was old and stale.

The facilities itself are nice, but it could be a lot better run. The front desk workers did not have masks on, and one didn't even have on a uniform just a hoodie. Our room wasn't cleaned well, found trash in places, something smeared on the back of the bathroom door, weird stains/mold in the shower. Sheets had weird rips in them too. The grab and go breakfast was a lot worse than similar ones I've had during COVID. A couple bagels, some yogurt and packs of oatmeal basically. I would stay here again if I had to, but it wouldn't be near the top of my choices.

Our crew stayed format few days, the place was great to relax after work. We enjoyed the out side sitting area that we used to cook our food. Located at the end of steet were we could park easy and safety for our vehicle. We like it.

BW motto is because we care. They also state they have industry cleaning standards. Full stop; they don't. We walked into the lobby only to first not even be acknowledged by the front desk staff and second front desk staff not have on masks. One staffer briefly held her mask in her hand then quickly put it back down. We walked out and cancelled our reservation. I would never go back to a BW again. How would I be able to trust their commitment to enhanced cleaning when the front desk staff doesn't even wear a simple mask. If you refuse to wear a mask and just don't care about having a safe space then I suppose this is the place for you. Anyone else I would highly recommend going to a nearby hotel who actually follow proper guidelines.

The hotel itself was fine, clean and quiet. It was close to several restaurants, many in walking distance. There was one weird thing, there was no shelf in the shower so you had to put soap, shampoo, etc. on the back of the toilet and open the shower door each time you needed to reach the items. I was really unhappy about the clerk making a copy of my driver's license. I was too tired to think to question it at the time but it has bothered me ever since I have thought about it. I stayed at 3 different BWs this week and none made a copy of my DL and neither has any hotel chain in my travels. I'm concerned about this but at this point it is done. Even with the COVID issues, the other BWs I stayed at in FL this week had much better breakfast options. But I would recommend the hotel itself.

Driving back to Ohio avoiding Atlanta we stopped in Columbus and also planned a stop at the military museum at Fort Benning. Always have good luck at Best Westerns and this one is no exception. Very happy with our room. Very clean and Betty at the front desk was so accommodating. Check in was a breeze. She really cared about her guests and it showed. We will stop back again for sure!

I enjoyed my stay it was so relaxing. I would recommend anyone to come visit. The staff was sweet they made us feel comfortable. I know my next stay will be the same, as of now every time I travel I will stay at Best Western Plus every time .

The location was in the easy access to the meeting I was staying for, they had coffee which was always hot. I like to have coffee threw out the day and it was great to have it 24 hours. 2 nights stay everything worked and TV has lots of channels. I will come back and stay with them.

I stayed here one night as a stopover on a trip. The front desk personnel was very nice, however check-in took longer than I anticipated due to some technology issues. Also there was an unexpected $125 security deposit charged to my card. The room was huge, the decor nicely done. Needed some attention to detail in cleaning though. I regularly seek out Best Western Plus hotels when traveling as they've usually been updated and the staff is very friendly, but I probably would not stay at this one again unless in a pinch.

Very nice. Staff was good. Room was clean and quiet. Good area. Felt safe. Comfortable and affordable. No problem checking in or out. Good overall experience here. Just don't use the best western college park location aka trap house

Right off the interstate and convenient to alot of the sites in Columbus. The room was clean. Pool not open. Plenty of parking and reasonable rates. The breakfast was grab and go and not much. The staff was very helpful. We tried to go for a walk but no sidewalks and people seem to use it as a turnaround past the hot

Stayed for three nights while sightseeing in the Columbus area. The hotel is conveniently located to drive to sights in the region, While the hotel lobby was beautiful and clean, we found the opposite in the room. We were told that our room, a suite, was the best room in the hotel. I hope it isn't. We were very displeased with the cleanliness. The room had issues which require maintenance too, including an exposed wire on a light fixture. The “COVID” breakfast was pathetic and not near the standard mentioned on the website. We generally stay at Best Western Hotels, but we would not stay at this one again.

People next to us talked, yelled all night. Finally, around 3am they stopped. Complained to front desk. They knocked on their door, and they apologized. After hotel staff left, right back to talking, and yelling. No sleep at all.

Everything was perfect. I had no problems with no internet or the rooms. Everything was good. I will definitely recommend best Western plus to my friends and family. I had awesome time and thank you for making me feel comfortable.

The staff here was very unprofessional, the cleaning crew or should I say the lazy crew are so loud and rude, will weak you up with their loud mouths in the morning. No one is ever at the front desk for help, the manager never on site. For the money they charge this place is not worth it!!! Go somewhere else, unless you don't mind not being able to rest!!!

We booked two nights and upon arrival the first evening, all appeared fine. Slept in the next day and went to shower and get ready to go out for the evening. Noticed a used washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod and crusted urine at the base of the toilet. Neither of these were visible to us until inside of the shower looking out. Immediately called front desk and asked for the room to be cleaned while we were out and explained the issues. They said it would be handled. Upon returning to the hotel later, they said our room had not been serviced by housekeeping because we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We explained that we had in fact chosen to forgo housekeeping as we had slept in and we were fine with our room not being serviced for our two night stay. HOWEVER when we found the dirty washcloth and urine, we did ABSOLUTELY want those items remedied. Front desk continued to politely remind me that housekeeping had skipped our room because of the sign on the door. Wasn't hearing what I was saying that when we discovered filth, we either needed it remedied or to get a new room. All she would offer was to call the general manager who would be in touch in the morning. I told her I was not comfortable sleeping in a room with someone else's urine (and who knows what else) and asked to be switched to another room for the night. It was now 9:30 on a Sunday night and there were exactly 10 cars in the parking lot, including ours. She insisted that there were no rooms available and that there were a lot of people due to check in. She again told me that she'd talk to the general manager about “an adjustment” and reminded me that the sign was on our door during housekeeping rounds. I again reiterated that it wasn't about that, nor was I seeking an adjustment, just a CLEAN room in which to sleep. If we had noticed these things earlier we most CERTAINLY would have mentioned them at the time. We called for assistance as soon as we were aware. Also, when we decided to leave and I was taking pictures, I noticed trash sticking out from under the corner of the sofa. It's a receipt from 2 weeks ago. I will say that the staff was friendly and they did seem short handed. The one front desk lady told us that she was on loan from Texas. So now I'm sitting in a car, driving back home in the middle of the night because there is no one to clean our room nor any non-urine rooms available. We were charged for one night plus a $75 “late checkout” fee, as if this is supposed to make things better.

We spent two nights here while in town for a college softball tournament. Newer property, very spacious lobby and our king room was very large and spacious as well. Clean, check-in staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable, but bathroom is very small. Only one sink and limited counter space. Did have a walk in shower which I prefer over a tub. With such a large room with 3 couches and a king bed, I wish they would have built a larger bathroom counter. Property is two blocks away from highway and railroad and was very quiet. Only down side was breakfast - very limited selection and on Sunday morning we arrived for breakfast at 8:30 (it's open from 6:00 to 9:00) and they were about out of food. The staff made no effort to make more scrambled eggs or re-stock other items that were gone.

Although the hotel was a bit outside of Columbus, it was a very pleasant place to stay. We were there for a wedding and we loved the large area where breakfast was served. It gave us a place to socialize at any time we wanted.

We enjoyed every aspect of our overnight in this hotel. Check in was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast was quite good. The staff was especially helpful at check-in as they helped us get on the business center computer quickly to see a granddaughter dance on line streaming.

If you are going to Fort Benning and your soldier has leave, the suite rooms are perfect. Our son slept on a couch but there was a door for privacy. Breakfast filled him up! Very clean and friendly for under 100 bucks!

Some of the front desk people were cordial, others made you feel like you were bothering them. Housekeeping was very unpredictable. We stayed five days, had housekeeping twice. Two days in a row I had to get clean towels myself from the front desk people.

This hotel was a little further away from Ft Benning than our previous hotel stay, but the distance was worth the difference! Just make sure that if you are going to Ft B for grad or turning/blue/green - you head out early. I think map-wise, the drive should take about 15 min from the hotel to the gates at Ft B. First morning we were bright and early and at Ft Benning in plenty of time (leave at least 1 hr prior - even earlier is better.) No matter how early we went 4 different times (family weekend and then graduation), there were ALWAYS people that beat us there! The day of graduation we left later because we thought we knew what to expect. But there was a lot of rain, which slowed traffic down. Also I think because we left later we hit "rush hour" traffic at the gates and there was a line of traffic. I think there had also been a traffic accident that slowed us down. We still made it in time - though it took over twice as long as it was the day before. We heard that some folks (no idea where they stayed) missed the graduation because of traffic issues. Check-in employee was cheerful and friendly. Room was clean and the free breakfast was good: delicious omelet one morning and biscuits and gravy the next, plus a variety of other items. We did not have any problems during our stay and felt safe and comfortable at our hotel. Room was spacious. I would totally stay here again.

Checked in on New Year's Eve 2019. Lady at desk was rude to me and wife. When we finally checked and got room we relaxed before going out for the evening. Room was very clean and beds had crisp clean sheets and cleanliness of room was good. When we checked out next morning lady at front desk was very cordial and helpful to us. Breakfast bar was clean and stocked. Overall experience was ok but would have been better if the lady from the night before would have been more friendly to customer.

First time at this great hotel. Near Highway. Very bright lobby. Room was very nice. Room was clean and a good size. Great restaurants close. Very quiet at night. This is a great hotel for the price. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Great location, front desk staff, room and corridors spotlessly clean. Refreshing fruit effusion water in Lobby. Lost the plus when attendant came by to ask about what was needed for the second day, wrote down requests and never returned. No service given. No cleaning, towels or other requested items delivered. HVAC units seemed excessively loud. Good breakfast selection though eggs overcooked. Hopefully, room service failure was isolated one-time occurrence.

We had a great stay. Beds were nice, clean rooms. Very quiet. Only downside is that parking is horrible!!! Breakfast needs to be updated and a few items changed. Close to shopping & restaurants. Good stay.

We rented 3 rooms and 1 was a suite so the family could gather. We were disappointed that the bedroom portion was not private and the furniture was sparse. The hotel overall was very nice and clean, but the maid did not clean our room. The staff was very accommodating and very nice!

Everything was as expected. Drive time to all Ft. Benning activities was under 20 minutes. Room was clean. Pillows were cushy. Complimentary breakfast was very nice and appreciated. I only have one suggestion: post a sign by the breakfast area "Please take a clean plate for seconds". I saw a couple folks going back with their dirty plates - maybe they just didn't think because it wasn't a buffet....

Wonderful staff that went out of there way made life away from home pleasurable! Most places I've stayed offer warm welcomes and after that you're left to yourself. Kindness was extended our way from the cleaning staff, maintenance, front desk as well as management!

There were 3 in our group. The front desk lady was very nice at check in & helped my friend send a fax . Having hot tea available was a plus. The one thing I would recommend is that they take off the coffee machine filter basket before they put hot water in the hot water container . It makes the tea taste like coffee. The room was spacious & beds were comfortable. We were by the end door but we didn't hear any noise from it.

We were disappointed that breakfast ended so early on a Saturday morning. Service was okay, but the hotel only had around 20 extra blankets and ran out of them so we were left without. The room was average.

The room was huge. I loved that we could close off the bedroom from the sitting area. This gave my son privacy while he called people while out on his pass. We were on the 4th floor. I was pretty nervous when I found our room was right next to the elevator but noise was not an issue. Housekeeping services were lacking and unfriendly. Front desk was not visibly staff and not overly friendly. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. I was somewhat shocked to find skim milk wasn't offered for breakfast. The woman working at the breakfast area was very friendly. I haven't stayed at any other Columbus hotels, but based on reviews for others, I am going to say this was a pretty good pick. We're returning for graduation in a month.

I booked our reservation at the last minute but only after reading the reviews on the property. And I couldn't be happier with our stay! Clean, well-maintained property, well-appointed rooms and a very comfortable bed! The staff was fantastic! I would definitely book here again.

Checking in went well. I got lots of help redeeming two gift cards which made the stay quite a bargain. The lobby is attractive and spacious. Our room was very good with plenty of light and charging outlets. The furniture arrangement worked well and I particularly liked the bench that could hold more than one suitcase. The walk in shower was convenient too. It would have been really an outstanding stay if breakfast had included gluten free items. Most don't but we are really happy when they do! We are in Columbus a couple of times a year and our prior favorite had gone downhill so this will be our new choice.

Very nice hotel. The front desk clerks was very friendly and helpful when you could find one at the counter. Breakfast was not good though. Eggs was like eating rubber and the only meat they offered was sausage. No syrup except sugar free syrup for the waffles. Ran out of eggs and we got there for breakfast between 7:30 and 8. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Just go out for breakfast.

Visited Columbus for military event. This hotel is about 15 miles from base. Very close to shopping and restaurants, but much cheaper than hotels in that area. Clean rooms and lobby, ample parking, good breakfast and service. We had noisy neighbors, but that isn't fault of hotel. Will stay here again.

nice place to big rooms and nice service. the shower actually is the most powerful shower I have ever been in. room smelt good and and the bed was very comfortable. all employees were nice and helpful if I needed them for questions and answers.

Very nice hotel with a really nice pool and ample outdoor space for hanging out with friends. Very large breakfast buffet was delicious and attended to well. Excellent location in a secluded area right next to the hustle and bustle of North Columbus! Ample restaurants and shopping areas nearby.

I had to change my room twice in the beginning. First room had extremely noisy working refrigerator. Second one had toilet flashing handle broken (no flashing available at all). these problems were not reported to the staff or were not fixed in proper way. Old designed air conditioning machines located inside of each room generated too much noise and disturbed night rest.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel while dealing with the sudden death of my step-daughter. Everyone at this hotel from the manager to the beautiful Lovie in the breakfast room were so gracious to us. The room was very upscale and kept extremely clean. The entire hotel looked new and sparkling. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful every day. There was a girls soccer team staying there who ate alot at breakfast but Lovie always had enough out for everyone! The front desk personnel was so sweet and even shed tears with us when we checked out. They helped to make a terrible situation into a good experience. Thank you, Best Western Plus!!

In a word, WOW! This is my first visit to a Best Western in Years. I am a current titanimum Marriott custom that has grown tired of arriving at Marriott properties only to find that they have been "remodeled" Days Inn, Red Roof Inns or the like. You get the picture. So, I'm looking for a new chain, and, I may have found it in Best WEstern. This property is stunning. Easily among the most attractive I've seen to date in my many decades of travel. The business center, lobby, and even exercise room are all top notch. They'd thought of everything and done it in world class manner here. This is a gorgeous property. As impressive as is the grounds and interior, I am even more impressed with the front desk. Melissa and Edith are true All-Stars. The greeting was warm and GENUINE, not fake or phoney. They seemed glad that I was here and made me feel most welcome. Here's the Bottom Line: If you want a place that exceeds 5 stars in all aspects - building, people, room, and service...this is it. This has been a delightful surprise and has earned my strongest possible recommendation.

The staff was freindly and attentive. They explained anything I might not know patiently and thoroughly. The room was clean and bug free. The coffee maker, hairdryer, and iron were nice to have. My son loves the complimentary lotion and soaps. The shower was relaxing. My stay was quiet and peaceful. The beds and pillows where the most comfortable my son or I have ever slept on. We are now look to the Best Western hotels.

Such an amazing place to stay. Every employee at this location continuously went out of the way to make sure our entire stay was perfect. It was totally perfect! Remarkably friendly. Great breakfast, very comfy beds, nice pool, wonderfully welcoming. We will definately be back!

I dread when my job sends me to Columbus. Hotels are overpriced with lots of bug reviews. This place is great. Under 100 a night and everything is clean, nice, and works. No bugs. Staff is nice. If I wanted to be super picky and I am not the bathtub looks a bit dingy..But the rest of the bathroom is super clean and updated and I would not take a bath in a hotel anyway. Pool is clean Breakfast is as nasty as most hotel breakfasts usually are =) beds are comfy close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel compared to a regular bestwestern is beyond better. The room was more up to date, and the hotel itself was very accommodating. You can charge to your room from the snack area, and the breakfast was really good.

Great customer service, room cleanliness and amenities are very good for the price. Location is excellent for any activity. I travel here for business occasionally and I always receive the same great hotel experience.

The lobby was beautiful as was the whole Best Western Plus. The clerk was on the phone with a customer when I arrived but nodded to me as soon as I walked in. The room was very quite and the bed very comfortable. We will stay there again when we pass thru Ft. Benning.

My husband and I had come to the area to visit Callaway Gardens and Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Ga and because we are Best Western Rewards members, we try to find a BW when we can. Columbus, Ga was only about 25 minutes away from the attractions. The hotel is nicely appointed. When you walk through the door there is a refreshing pitcher of water and cookies waiting on you. The check-in process was smooth and Michelle behind the front desk was so nice and welcoming. She even helped us choose our restaurant for dinner! Inside our room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us. The beds are soft and the pillows are great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed the shower. The room was appointed with two queen beds, tv, desk, microwave, and refrigerator. We enjoyed a quiet, restful sleep and a great full breakfast the next morning. The check-out process was also quick and easy. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone.

Paid over 200 for one night stay in the middle of the week. Hotel was clean, beds were average on comfort. Centrally located, one of the better hotels in Columbus, just over priced. Front desk was average but helpful

Hotel has plumbing issues. Pretty sure my child could make the bed better than whoever does at this hotel. Mattress & box spring we're filthy, bed frame was also a hazard. Don't let the lobby fool your eyes

My Grandson's wedding was at Columbus Botanical Gardens so several of the groom's immediate family stayed at Best Western in Columbus Ga. We also had the reversal dinner in their banquet room. The service was special.

The receptionist at check in was very professional and accommodating. The staff was very hospitable. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well prepared, with a variety of dining choices.

This hotel was EXCELLENT. Melissa that checked us in was a sweetheart that made sure we had everything we needed, answered questions and even helped us find dinner. The lobby was beautifully renovated and the rooms were super nice/clean. I was SO impressed!

The check-in/out was easy and cordial! The housekeeping staff was very attentive and thorough! The breakfast staff was on point! They kept the food coming and even assisted us in making waffles each morning! We didn't have time to try the pool, but there were lifeguards on duty. All in all a great visit and stay. We WILL use this location when we return to North Columbus because everything you could possibly need is within a 3 to 10 minute ride. Every kind of eating establishment and shopping option is right down the street. The only drawback is to get to everything you must make a left on Veterans Parkway and there is no light at that intersection, so the wait time can be long if you must go out during the morning or evening rush.

We paid for this hotel through Expedia, but upon check in they charged my credit card again, it's almost a week later and still no refund, the manager treated me like I was putting him out to even bring it up, practically hung up on me and didnt even say bye or thank you

SHS Class Reunion of the 9's weekend was made even more special by the service I received from the Best Western Plus Columbus / Ft. Benning, Ga. I highly recommend using this hotel for your events. The Spencer High School Class Reunion of 1989 plans on using this hotel in August 2019.

This hotel is super cute and trendy. The staff was great and very accommodating from the house keepers to the front desk. I had a mini photoshot in the hallway compliments of the housekeeping staff. We were very pleased with the property and the overall experience made for an exceptional visit during the Family Weekend with our son (A 1-50) at Ft. Benning. HOOAH!!! We will definitely be returning.

After a horrible day flying (our first flight was rerouted due to a storm so the 3 hour flight ended up taking 8 and then our new connection was delayed for over 6 hours) it took 24 hours to get to our hotel and when we got there at midnight it so nice to be met by happy, friendly staff and the process was very fast to get our clean and comfy room. Slept like a log for 5 hours and happily enjoyed a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and hot coffee as I ran out the door to meet my sister at Fort Lee to go to church. It was super easy to change to the later check out when I realized we wouldn't be back in time to check out at the original time. All the staff I met and interacted with was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

We were looking forward to coming back to Ft. Benning for our son's Best Ranger competition and decided to go with Best Western because of the reviews on Trip Advisor which are the best reviews. Just one problem after another. But the worst was checking Thursday night late. The lady at the front desk was just mean. She ran through everything really fast and felt the need to tell us "there's no smoking in the rooms, so don't you dare smoke in my rooms". My wife and looked at each other like why is she so mad at us. Then we just wanted to verify with her that we had adjoining rooms guaranteed. She got combative and said we don't have adjoining rooms and put her hand up and said " I get it, but we don't have adjoining rooms" . When we repeated that we called and said they were guaranteed she looked closer and said oh we do have adjoining rooms. No apology. After trying to open the adjoining rooms the lock was broken so the rooms would not adjoin. I went to front desk and told the same lady the lock was broken and she said, I kid you not. "OK" and just stared at me. So I asked the young man next to her and said we'll get it fixed. An hour later we called and they said it would not be fixed until the morning. The people at the desk Friday morning were much nicer, they did get it fixed and did not charge us for the 2nd night. The fitness center can't be used until 6AM which is not normal, most hotels have 24 hour access, so I went to a near by Planet Fitness. When I did use the fitness center the TV did not work and I told the desk and it never got fixed. Breakfast on Saturday there was some kind of huge kid's school event going on that the staff was not prepared for. Of course all the coffee and food ran out so we had to put off breakfast until the group left on their buses. I would not recommend this place. There are so many great options in Columbus. We've never had a bad experience on our Ft. Benning visits until now. Too bad it seems like a new hotel. It could be great, but it comes down to people caring and management. It's just not run well and people don't care.

SCALE 1 TO 10 I GIVE IT 71/2 I was there because of my sons Graduation from the Army and relatives wanted to show some love by coming with me. I wanted to be there for him and I need a place to stay while I was out there. I am sure I will be visiting him again in the future .

First time staying here. The rates are just as good if not better than local high end hotels in the area. Not to mention the fact that this is a Really Nice Hotel. I'm definitely staying here the next time I'm in Columbus / Ft. Benning Area.

I stayed in this hotel on my senior trip, and it was a great experience. Everything was very clean and modern, and the staff was very kind. The breakfast was also solid. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

My mother in law did the work while searching the area for the best value , we came for few days for my husbands graduation and we didn't plan on spending time at the hotel itself. However, we were wowed by the interior of the hotel and the room as well. It is a new hotel, so no dirty carpets , great decor and nice ambiance. The remote didn't work in our room, but we were promptly offered to change rooms. I had a small issue with front desk associate accidentally charging my card for the stay I already paid for, but the team handled it well and took care of it. Will definitely recommend the hotel and location, literally 20 minute drive from everything , but quiet to have a great night sleep

Loved staff breakfast and room! Key cards did not work for gym or outside patio so was locked out only downfall ! But room was roomy and good prices nothing added so far . Definitely staying when go back when son graduates .

I checked in here late at night after leaving another hotel (because of safety/cleanliness issues) and felt so safe and comfortable here. It was well lit, the staff was so friendly, the hotel was very modern, and my room was great. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Our stay was 5-star all the way from check in with Toni to check out Edith & Corey. Barbara greeted us each morning for breakfast to start the day right and Latrice cleaned our room so that we could relax at the end of the day. We can not say enough good things about the staff. The price of the room was outstanding. The room and common areas were clean and fresh.

Me and my girlfriend checked up in last Friday and aside from the fire alarm going off early Saturday morning the whole experience was great. The staff was great(especially Toni the manager) and breakfast was good as well(shout out to Barbara the cool). We will definitely stay there again and who knows we might even open up an account with Best Western.

We had a room booked, it was on the 2nd floor. Told Merrisa who was on the front desk, my wife had, had a stroke, she immediately moved us to the main floor with easy access. The whole place smelled clean when we walked in. All the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was great. Will we go there again, most definitely.

Stayed here for business. I truly enjoyed the stay. Stephanie was the best. She was on her game with my needs. The staff was friendly and the hotel was spectacular in decor and atmosphere. I was greeted daily. And when I got to my room it was clean and inviting.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, especially Toni. She was a great help to my daughter Riley and her friend Jenna. We are the Thespian Troupe from Forsyth Central High School and had about 20 students, 4 adults in our party. We were checked in with ease, the rooms were clean and in good working order, the breakfast was delicious and the staff outstanding. They were very accommodating. We have stayed at this hotel for Thescon 2018 and 2019 and hope to continue to do so for many years to come. We could not ask for a better hotel to host our group.

I checked in to stay until I got an apartment in Columbus. Toni at the front desk was very friendly and responsive to my needs. Barbara was so friendly every morning as she served a variety of breakfast options. During my time there, I was able to meet and interact with many of the hotel staff. They were all accommodating and sympathetic to my plight. I'm thankful for their helpfulness, the comfortable room, the refrigerator and microwave and the awesome breakfast every morning.

This BW was the best Best Western I have ever stayed. The room was clean, the TV worked. Toni checked me in and made the experience wonderful. I got up too late for breakfast, but Ms. Barbara was still there and gave me a little something for the road. The bed was super comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

debris under bath vanity for 2 days, breakfast was scarce- one milk and 3 yogurts was all that was available and didn't see person in charge at all, refrigerator froze our food, waste baskets had the liner in so nothing could be put into it unless the customer redid it, second morning we woke up to NO Hot Water- went on phone to ask front desk what was wrong and phone Didn't Work. Toni at front desk was awesome and gave us a one night credit and some smiles- told us to report it to mgr and gave us his e-mail. He contacted us and just gave us Nothing except excuses as to why our stay wasn't up to par. Very disappointed with supervisors response !! We still stay at BW's .

Coming from the customer service industry & being a customer service trainer I know what it means to have true customer service. The customer service at the Best Western Plus - Columbus-Ft. Benning was friendly & professional. The staff has a great personal rapport & personalities. the customer service is excellent especially that of Staffers Marissa - Front Desk, Barbara-Dining, Toni-Front Desk Manager, Edith- Housekeeping Manager, Mark-Sales, Xavier & Ken- Regional Manager; their customer attention was astonishing. Additionally my understanding is Marissa is new to the staff but you would never know it. Marissa performances as if she has been on staff for years.

During my most recent stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Columbus, GA, Ms. Barbara (kitchen), Ms.Toni (Front desk), Ms.Edith (house keeping), Ms.Marissa (front desk), Mr. Mark R.(sales), and Mr. Ken (regional director) were all responsible for the incredible hospitality experience ever! From arrival to departure, the staff was most helpful and cheerfully so. The rooms were very clean, something I no longer take for granted at hotels. The breakfast choices - WOW. There was, really, something for everyone, far beyond coffee, tea and a piece of bread. There was no need to go outside for breakfast. It was well worth the commute, to and from Atlanta's airport, to stay at this hotel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the rooms were a little late being ready. I still highly recommend this hotel. My husband, daughter and I were in for my son's graduation from Basic Training at Fort Benning.

We were very disappointed with our experience at this property. There were many issues encountered. The front desk supervisor requested we send an email to her boss,. Toni the front desk supervisor was awesome! She immediately comped one night and asked that we get back to her after the email to Ken her boss. Ken read the following and requested a contact number which we gave him. That afternoon he did call with nothing but excuses... this person called in sick, this person was on vacation, both our boilers were out this morning "but it's fixed now!" and he said that he had told Toni to comp us one night ( she had done that on her own) Here is our email to him. I was asked to email you in regards to some issues we've had since we've checked into this hotel. First off we booked a week and a half to two weeks in advance and ask for a first-floor room what we got was room 402. upon check-in there was a piece of paper in the bathroom floor that to this day has not been removed and we've been here two nights. Yesterday morning at breakfast there was a rubber band in the fruit bowl and the refrigerator was bare and there was no half-and-half for the coffee it was just the artificial creamer and there was not a single person around to fill anything up or ask for any additional supplies. As far as our room goes this morning there was no hot water. also when the person came in and cleaned yesterday they wiped the mirror with a towel or something and it is just totally streaked. The garbage can bags are put in the garbage can so that you can't throw anything away without it falling out. When we tried to call the front desk this morning to complain about the hot water the phone did not work. Also the plug on one of the lights does not work. And the refrigerator freezes everything. I am attaching pictures of the mirror the garbage can and the rubber band and the fruit bowl as well as the empty refrigerator and this was 8 in the morning for breakfast. being that we booked in advance you can see that we do try to stay at a Best Western because your standards are usually quite high and we are severely disappointed with this particular location. Not very happy with the managers (Ken) explanation and excuses about the problems. When he first emailed he said he would make it right and he himself did nothing. It isn't the customers fault that someone doesn't show for work and we as customers should never even know that that is the case. A managers job is to ensure that the customer has a satisfactory experience and NOT make excuses for whatever problems arise. We did attach pictures of some of our problems/issues in our email to the manager.

Room was clean, nice lobby, ok breakfast. TV remote didn't work and wasn't fixed when requested. Tub drained slow so showered in water above ankles. Requested the remote to be replaced or fixed and the shower fixed. Was told maintenance doesn't come in until the next morning. Left hotel in the morning to work and requested again for both issues to be fixed. Was told it would be during the day. Returned after work and neither was fixed and again told maintenance doesn't show up until the next day. I was offered to be moved to another room but I was leaving the next morning and didn't want to deal with it only to possibly get the exact same thing in the next room. It wasn't said, but staff was very nonchalant and I felt they just wanted to say "deal with it". Definitely won't be staying at this hotel again.

This place was smelling fabulous. The place is clean and just a really niiiice place to stay. If you are in this town, make sure you stop by here. The atmosphere was refreshing. Great staff too! Definitely enjoyed.

We came to Columbus for a military graduation. The people were all superb. The rooms were clean amd.comfortable and we were within 10 miles of anything we wanted to do. The area was clean, safe and quiet.

I really enjoy staying at Best Western or Best Western Plus hotels. This is my hotel of choice and would refer this hotel over any other hotel. I use this this hotel for business and pleasure. Great Hotel!

We have stayed at several hotels over the last three months doing business in Columbus. This last stay we stayed with Best Western and found it offered everything we were getting at much more expensive hotels. We will be staying at Best Western on our next visit.

The staff is outstanding and very customer oriented. When we are in the area, this is the hotel where we stay. It is convenient to the local attractions and easy to locate. Fortunately it is off a main highway but you don't hear the traffic going up and down the road.. We will stay here again.

We stayed during the holiday week. The rooms were good sized. Breakfast was included so it's a great value. The outdoor pool was closed of course. The fitness facility was fine too! They were friendly and polite. Common area is open and comfortable. Parking is free and it's easy to find. Lots of stores nearby. On the Cons side:The pillows were odd, kind of two small squares per person per bed. And one of our beds needs to get a new mattress, easy to see where people have been sleeping on it with the indents! And weird mattress pads don't cover the entire king bed so someone gets to sleep on a lumpy seam! These are easy fixes. That being said, I'm sure we will be back as we have family nearby! It worked well for us and I would recommend it! We picked it based on price, amenities and location and were overall quite pleased.

1. I was dissatisfied with the window shades/curtains in room #122. They have installed the curtains in a way that you cannot close them completely, thus cannot completely block out the morning light, even with the middle shade closed. 2. The pillows are too small and soft with oversized pillow cases tucked in around them. These are not even standard-sized pillows. A queen bed should have standard/queen-sized pillows. 3. The shower doors are improperly installed, dangling on the bottom, not sturdy or safe within the tract. 4. The plastic drain cover in the shower was broken, completely off the drain upon arrival, and we had to keep putting it back in place as it would pop out of place when showering. 5. There was a soiled/dirty washcloth inside the bag holding the blow dryer behind the bathroom door. 6. The room card keys did not always work for the side and back hotel doors, causing us to have to walk around to the front of the hotel and have them "rescanned" by the staff. I even saw staff members with this problem trying to open guest room doors to go in and clean. 7. There was no room service. 8. The beverages are overpriced, $3.24 for botteled soda or water. 9. The front desk lady kept saying they are "understaffed", as if that is an excuse for any inconvenience to guests. 10. I did not like "Barbara's" plea to remember her name and give her good remarks on the survey. However, although she was the friendliest staff member, it seems she is not genuine due to her ulterior motives.

we stayed at this hotel for graduation at fort benning, as did most of the other travelers. The hotel was busy , but did not seem crowded. Very clean except for some coffee stains on the couch, and a couple of spots on the carpet. The dining area is a good place to hang around with your soldier for a couple of hours and visit. Breakfast was very good and the host lady was extremely friendly and accommodating to all your needs. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Only complaint is that as a platinum member, late check should be later than 12:30. Other chains have 2 and 4 late check out times. I know that is a corporate decision and does not reflect on the individual hotel. Also, numerous restaurants and shopping close by

Located about a block off of the main Street, this unit was quiet and clean. Our room was standard hotel which we expected. The one negative was the upholstered chair which had a short seat which was not really comfortable. The breakfast area was large and there were adequate choices. There is plenty of parking.

Very nice hotel with very friendly employees. The breakfast was great and the bed were very comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves. We travel a lot to Columbus and we will continue to use Best Western Plus for our hotel.

Our stay at Bestwestern Plus was great! Our check in & check out with Toni was easy and effortless. She was so helpful when we needed extra bedding. The rooms were very clean, the bedding was fresh. I stay at this location every time I visit Columbus on business. It is easily accessible, clean, and offers a great breakfast. Customer service is spot on and Toni is a delight! I definitely recommend staying here.

We researched more this time around for a nice hotel for our soldiers grad day & Ms. Toni at the BW+ made our super clean stay even more superb by making sure our youngest son felt very comfy too. The hotel was super clean, tidy, neatly modern interior decor, the king suite w separate living area w nice size sectional that was made easily into a bed for a preteen was a VERY NICE privacy layout. If you have a snoring partner, then I can easily see a no fuss night by quietly sneaking to the “transforming sectional to-bed”. It would have been nice if the sectional was an actual pullout sofa bed, but you can't be too picky when it comes to VERY NICE KING SIZE LUX BEDS in the master suite. The linens n towels were very nice quality - not cheap micro-thin Walmart towels. The hotel souvineer sized shampoos were quaint but could Have been a little larger and maybe a higher quality brand to match the upscale interior. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY FAMILIES COMING DOWN FOR FAMILY DAY OR GRADUATION DAY AT FT BENNING. 5⭐️‘S

The staff and accommodations at the Best Western Plus, Columbus GA was stellar! My husband is in a wheelchair and everything was great. Toni, Brittnay, and the lovely women at the front desk on the night of 5th were all so helpful. We were greeted after 11 pm, as out flight came in late, with a smile and a quick check in!

Clean, nicely decorated, quiet, extremely pleasant and helpful staff, and close to many stores and restaurants. Bed and pillows VERY comfortable, fantastic shower head! Every question or request was immediately taken care of by staff.

i want to start this review off by saying i take my hat off to Ashley for working the 4th floor its extra warm up there and she kept my moms room very clean. My stay started it off a little rocky we encountered a rude room attendant. Because she had to work the 4th floor i just dont understand for the life of me if you are in the hospitality business how can you be unpleasant to guest. My overall stay was pleasant very nice quiet hotel. Andrea could have gotten all the hair up out the bathroom and trash from under the vanity. She also could have spent a little more time cleaning instead of on her phone.She also could have had a better attitude towards Mrs.Toni who has a job to do just like her as well as to the guest in passing first impressions are lasting impressions. When we come back for my nephews next graduation i dont want her cleaning my room. Mrs.Toni Jasmine and Mrs.Dorothy you guys are awesome

I stayed here for 3 weeks on a business trip and it was a DREAM. Extremely clean, nicely furnished, courteous staff at all levels, and the price was competitive or even less than far less attractive establishments. Plus those other places don't have Toni, the coolest chick on the planet, running the front desk with business acumen and sparkling personality. Toni, you're the real deal. Much love.

I stayed at the best Western plus for about a week and Toni at the front desk was so hospitable. She greeted me with a great smile took care of all of my needs made for my stay. Toni give also took good care of as a platinum meme era when no one else noticed that I was. She ensured that room service took care of me, with fresh towels and cleanness. Every morning she asked me if I was enjoying my stay and if she could me with anything I needed. She was very attentive, courteous, polite, nice and sweet. Can't wait to come back and stay there again.

Don't stay here guest please don't..they don't change your sheets at all. I have proof they steal everything under the sun there. They treat the workers like nothing and that's why you get half service....Ken Patel talked to me like I was a piece of nothing.

We Loved our stay at this hotel. We came for our son's graduation from Airborne at fort Benning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A big selection of food for breakfast, as well. The hotel is very new and clean. The rooms are very spacious. Ours had a couch where our son was able to sleep after graduation, at no extra charge for another person rooming in with us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room extremely poorly maintained. The door to the bathroom LITERALLY had a door that had been HACKED on the edge in order to close and then PAINTED that way. The bathroom had a wooden edge installed next to the shower that had about an inch and a half of crud under and around it. The blinds were pulled but cleverly hid the REAL light-blocking blinds. We could clearly hear the conversation of the guests next door until they finally went to sleep around 2:00 a.m. The bed was somewhat comfy, but the pillows were hard. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet.

I thought this hotel provided a real value for the money. I had a suite and the price was more than reasonable. Room and bathroom were immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Also liked access to computer and printer at no charge.

Be prepared to be let down. Everything from the appearance of the hotel, the lobby and the room are great, until you walk into the bathroom. Mine was outdated and the shower pan had mold all the way around it including the outside in places.

We went to visit my niece for a family weekend at Fort Benning. It's a nice hotel in a good area. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast selection. All the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Toni. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

Free parking, free internet, free breakfast that was very good with cheese omelets, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, pastries, juices, breads, fruit. lots of choices that they kept well stocked. The best part of the stay was the front desk lady, Toni. She is an absolute joy! Kind, friendly, quick to let you know that she is there to help you with anything you need. Big smile, very thoughtful. She is what everyone in customer service should strive to be. She makes you feel welcome and lets you know she cares about you. Don't see that much anymore. At first glance, one wonders why this property is not in the Best Western Premier Collection category. The property grounds, lobby, breakfast area, rooms and even the spaciousness of the hallways would seem to qualify. The amazing staff definitely would, too, but the breakfast? Not even close. A non-functioning pancake maker, absence of hot water for tea, etc and worst of all, out of date yogurt torpedoed my evaluation of this property. Its too bad, too, because the rest of the place and people I encountered were very good.

The beds were very soft and comfortable.The breakfast was Delicious. Ms.Toni was so helpful, kind, and willing to help everyone. I would recommend this Hotel to all my friends and family. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Ms. Toni and staff for making our stay great!!!

My family and I stayed here during a visit to Columbus for a celebration of life. From the moment we walked in the front desk representative, Toni, greeted us with a smile and warmth. During this difficult time we needed all of the extra compassion. Toni set us all up in rooms next to each other and took care of every request. During her absence she also shared with coworkers our situation and they also accommodated any needs during our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Housekeeping restocked and also accommodated any requests. The common areas were updated and clean as well and provided a place for us to gather after the days festivities. Breakfast was above average. Will definitely stay here again if in the Columbus area again.

I was very impressed with the staff at the front desk, in our room and during the breakfast. Very friendly and professional. Great lobby to hang in. Huge room! I've been at many hotels where the minute breakfast is done you're basically kicked out of the area. At this hotel we were given a warning that breakfast would be done soon and then 15 minutes later we were asked if anyone wanted something else before they closed. Very nice!

I just wanted to say that Toni is excellent with her staff and guess. She patiently waited on us and saw that are needs where meet without hestation. Just add some turkey susage to the breakfast menu for those who do not eat pork. Best Western Plus should as a charging station to the rooms for customers who forget his or her phone charger. Other than that Toni is awesome and I would visit this location again.

The girl is very clean. Bed sleep great. You have several pillows. Breakfast was hot and Good. Staff was so professional and nice. Ms.Toni that checked us was very nice and very respectful. I have never stayed someone where they put customer service first. She was so amazing with checking us in and answering all of all questions. I will most definitely be staying here again.

If I could give 100 stars I would do it!!! Very clean, comfy, cozy place. The continental breakfast was amazing. I booked online and somewhere along the line it happen to get canceled (which we didn't find out until we got to the hotel). After a 12-hour drive I was frustrated about that. Well, Miss Toni went above and beyond to make sure we got a room. Miss Toni should get a raise and be the person that corporate sends out to train staff on all levels of professionalism and being down-right courteous! She made my family and I feel at ease after the hiccup in booking plans, and we also felt like we were staying at her home. Much love Miss Toni!!! Miss Barbara made sure everyone knew she was here if anyone needed anything. When we come back to Georgia we WILL be staying here again. Southern hospitality at its finest!!!

This hotel is new, clean and attractive. The employees from the front desk to the breakfast room are nice as well as efficient. The plantings at the entrance are good looking, too. It's quiet because it's far enough off the highway and Veterans Parkway. Breakfast is good and is changed around each day we were there. Recommend.

Rooms are super clean and the manager, Toni, is fantastic. She made sure my colleague and I were happy with our rooms and even made it where our rooms were adjacent from each other. Breakfast was great - who can beat a pancake and waffle maker?

We interacted with the staff at the front desk, food service and housekeeping. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. They made it a pleasure to stay for our 4 night visit to Ft Benning. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the highways to enter the fort. There are many restaurants, gas stations and stores nearby. Some within walking distance. The hotel is off the main highway, so it is very quiet for sleeping. The rooms are clean and very reasonable priced. Free breakfast is offered. Self-serving, eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, oatmeal, various bagels and donuts, toast, fruit, juice, coffee, and yogurt will get you started in the morning. We stayed here twice now, and will stay here again on our next visit to Ft Benning.

We stayed here last week for our son's graduation at Fort Benning. The location was fantastic. Right off the freeway. Safe part of town. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was extremely clean. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our drain in the tub wasn't working, we told the front desk and it was immediately fixed. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I visited this location for three nights. I was impressed with the physical appearance of the hotel and the cleanliness. The breakfast was exceptional. We were visiting from Tampa and picked the hotel based on the location to our friends' house in Cataula. Anywhoo..... This hotel is GREAT! The customer service is superb. Toni is so helpful, nice, and genuinely wants the best for her guests. The location sits off of a busy road with a lot of construction, and I didn't hear a thing from our room. The chocolate chip and sugar cookies at check-in are a diet buster, soooooo good! The strawberry/pineapple and cucumber water A+++. For the price, I was impressed. There's a nice spread for breakfast (they have soy milk ??, I'm lactose intolerant and trust me this is a rarity), yummy smelling toiletries, comfy beds, plenty of plugs to charge electronics, fridge n microwave in our rooms, dog-friendly, free parking, fast check-in, and I can go on and on. We will definitely be back!!!

Whenever I stay with them Mrs. Toni always greets me like a family member. She's very professional. I enjoyed seeing her smiling. The hotel is always clean any any problems you may have will be handled quickly.

I stayed here for my son's Basic Training Graduation. Excellent location, just off the interstate. Most everthing that I needed was close by within a couple miles. Easy trip to Fort Benning, maybe 15 to 20 minutes.

I stayed here while attending a conference on base. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was tasty and changed each day. The service was very good and everybody was so friendly. The treadmill in the fitness centre worked well. I would stay here again

Myself and my church family ladies went to the 2018 women's conference. We were thrilled to see the attention and cleanliness of the hotel. It was so nice. But I wanted to let it be known thay Debra is an asset to y'alls team! I came back after a hot day and wanted some fresh cucumber water and it was gone. Without prompt Debra came up and Asked What was needed and she made sure I left with Cucumber water. She went out of her way to go fix me some. And she did this without hesitation. And she had a smile on her face the entire time and thanked us so nicely. Keep Debra. She is amazing. Thank you Debra for making my trip even more special with your kindness.

MS Barbara provided the best customer service and she was pleasant during breakfast she met and exceeded all expectations. I have traveled to many countries and cities and this was a very nice hotel. Staff was very nice. Barbara, on staff, at breakfast was very sweet and helpful. The young lady at the front desk was here from the time we got here to the time we left. She worked very hard and was a pleasant individual. Rooms were clean and the place is in a great location. The people staying here were nice to be around and no issues at all.

From the moment we walked in, Toni greeted us and assisted us in securing a room for the night with no reservation. She informed us of their amenities and the WiFi password. Room was very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Next morning, hubby and I go for their free breakfast. They had a plethora of breakfast food items! Hot and cold. Something for everyone. Then, I met Barbara who asked if I needed anything and proceeded to happily get it for me. I cannot say enough about these two ladies! GREAT STAFF and CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Had my family on a working vacation. Loved this hotel from check in to check out. Check in was quick and seem less. Newly remodeled hotel with a beautiful lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfy lots of channels and the WiFi is super fast. My son brought his PS4 and it was great. They have a nice outdoor pool and very cool patio outback. The hotel is close to food and downtown Columbus. With a hot breakfast including eggs and sausage and much much more. This hotel is great value great location. Highly recommend of your on the area.

Toni and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very helpful during my stay this past weekend. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the daily breakfast spread has numerous to fulfill ur taste buds. I will rebook at this hotel whenever I travel to Columbus in the future.

We stayed for a family members Army graduation, for 2 nights. The pool was down both days, super downer! The room next to us both nights had a crying baby, also a super downer. The staff seemed friendly, and the rooms were tidy, cool, and the beds are very comfortable.

I loved EVERYTHING about this Hotel.. When I walked in the smell was Wonderful, the customer service rep checked me in and less then 3 mins. The room was nice, clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the Hotel is close to Shopping and Resturants.

Beautiful hotel! It's not brand new but it appears to be. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had a king suite which had a livingroom. It was very large and had two TV's, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Even had a very large sitting room which featured a desk, chairs and a small table and plenty of room to walk.

We had an issue with our bed squeaking and Toni at the front desk was quick to handle the problem! She has great customer service that makes this a great place to stay! She took our complaint and assured us it would be taken care of. She herself gets 5 stars!!

I was passing through this area for work, and I was so pleased with this property. It was recently renovated and was very fresh. I loved the breakfast, the room, and the staff. The front desk clerk, Latoya was really helpful and kind. Thank you for having a consistent staff in all areas.

The service at this location was pleasant from the moment we checked-in to the very last second checking out. When you arrive you walk into a very sunny lobby, smiles and warm welcomes at the desk, and fresh baked cookies and ice cold water. We were there for three days utilizing the pool, conference room, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided. I would stay here again. Oh yeah, on our last day The cookies weren't available that day but Ms. Toni made sure to prepare a bag for my daughter to take home. Toni and her team were very attentive to our family's needs during our stay. Excellent team.

We arrived in the Ft Benning area and immediately encountered some travel challenges. We came upon the Best Western Plus and went inside to see if we could get some last minute room reservations- and we were immediately greeted by a friendly face at the front desk- Toni! She was professional friendly efficient and helpful! She worked with us to get two rooms - and after an exhausting road trip - they were ready immediately. Rooms were clean, staff helpful, and our stay thus far has been excellent! Toni saved the weekend for us! We will come again when we are back in this area.

I was currently at best western with friends we checked out Thursday Beautiful property My only concern was this very rude and attitudal housekeeper Ashley She knocked on the door never said Housekeeping Then proceeded to state how we needed to leave so she can get in the room Saying outside the door these people get on my damn nerves. Very unprofessional I was thinking of another stay but she discouraged me Very very poor customer service and she had the fourth floor smelling like bleach when hotels have pleasant smell not strong chemical smells

I stayed here for two nights while in Columbus for a conference. I had reservations at the Courtyard Marriott in Phenix City, but was moved here due to overbooking. While disappointed at first, I ended up more than pleased with my stay at the Best Western Plus! This hotel is very clean, safe and well maintained - not sure if it is brand new or recently renovated. The breakfast was the typical free hotel breakfast - nothing special, but clean and well staffed. The location is perfect for shopping, with plenty of restaurants nearby. I would like to give front desk employees, Toni and Jan, a HUGE shout out and thank you for their professionalism and helpfulness. Having been moved here from another hotel, they made the transition seamless and were very helpful with questions...customer service at its finest!

This a very nice hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife was delighted with the abundance of pillows. The staff was helpful, gracious and polite. The water pressure, in the shower, could have been better. The room is not bright enough to read in comfortably. The breakfast was delicious. There is a dining room with a separate service area/room where the self-service breakfast is made available. This service area/room is not nearly large enough to accommodate the number of people who are trying to serve themselves. Management should consider moving their waffle making equipment into a corner of the main dining room in order to reduce congestion. This hotel offers both cookies and fusion water in the lobby area. However, these amenities are not always available. If amenities are offered, please make them available.

My family had to make quite a few changes to the bookings due to incorrect dates we chose but the young lady on the other end of the phone by the name of Jasmine was so very patient with us. She changed all of our hotel bookings without a single complaint. Once we entered the hotel we were greeted by the friendliest front desk clerk by the name of Toni. She was extremely personable and friendly. I truly believe her greatest intent was to please her guest 100%. The rooms were immaculate and the staff was consistent in daily housekeeping task. The breakfast buffet was also top notch with the friendliest and most bubbly staff member by the name of Tempest who greeted each individual guest each morning. She truly put a smile on my face each day. The location of this hotel is also very close in proximity to very nice restaurants to suit our fancy. I would highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a great stay in a clean and friendly environment.

I was in Columbus for 3 nights for a tennis tournament and based upon previous reviews decided to stay here. Best choice I could have made! The hotel was recently remodeled and it was obvious. What I particularly enjoyed where the wide hallways, fairly large rooms, desk, a lounge char, frig, and plenty of closet space. Equally, if not more important,was the front desk crew led by Toni. She was the best of the best. Always there for you and wanted to make sure your stay was hassle free. Extremely warm and friendly with great personality! Talk about customer service...I have long hair [because I can], and my girlfriend was unavailable to accompany me on the trip. Too much to flap around when playing tennis so I asked Toni if she could please put it up in a pony tail. Toni said, "Of course! I have 2 daughters! I can do that". Not only was it the best pony tail ever, but Toni would not take any money from me from me for doing it. You should also know the hotel was slammed Saturday night with guests. The hotel includes a decent hot breakfast for the price. Due to a traffic accident, the person who was supposed to be preparing the breakfast was running late. So Toni, without complaining and keeping her smile on, did double duty, managing check-outs, answering phones and making sure the breakfast buffet [and coffee] was full. Also want to complement Quentin who worked with Toni in the lobby to being an excellent addition to the staff. Quentin also has the cutest family! :-) As someone in a movie once said: "I'll be back!" Arrived on May 20,2018 for a reunion with the 11th Pathfinder Co, 1st Air Cavalry Div, Viet Nam through May 24,2018. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The manager went out of his way to assist us in whatever we needed. The front desk staff was also very friendly, especially Toni. Checkout was quick and easy and we plan on having our reunions here again in the future.

I really liked this hotel. The room was as expected - good size, clean and modern. The breakfast was just right for starting the day and was typical for a Best Western Plus. I walk 2 miles every morning. I enjoyed seeing the cows on my walk on the country road next to the hotel.

This is a great hotel, which has a nice outdoor pool and some good coffee. I stayed here for 3 nights. the rooms were very well kept. Toni at the front desk did a great job helping us out, she deserves a raise!

I wish there were more than five stars to rate this hotel because in my book..it deserves a TEN. From check-in to check-out, my experience has been superior! The property is well-maintained, very clean and the parking lot is easy to maneuver and well-lit. The lobby is spacious and designed for easy flow. The pool area is exceptionally clean and located out-of-sight from incoming/outgoing guests. The elevators are very quiet and there seemed to be one waiting for me no matter what floor I was on. The breakfast area is large and open, allowing for networking with others or a quiet/delicious breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped for the business traveler or a family. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are spacious and HOT! I especially like the fact that this property is so welcoming & supportive of the military. From management & the front desk staff, housekeeping to maintenance..these folks understand the concept of true hospitality. A special shout-out to Mark, the Sales Manager for working so hard to accommodate our company and for checking on us to see if there was anything he could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Hard work pays off..and this hotel works hard to be one of the best properties in town. Job well done! We WILL be back! The app will not let me rate the service, value and cleanliness but they get 5 stars across the board from me!??????????

after a long 14 hour drive I was ready to unload the car and get to sleep. unfortunately the sheets on the bed were not clean; even with hair so we were given another room and what did we find there? dirty sheets with hair and makup on one of the pillows. we asked for and were given a set of sheets so we could get some sleep and changed our own sheets (we told the manager we would) but checked out three days early due to the overall experience.

An immaculate kept hotel. Very welcoming and staff was excellent for my week's stay. Would prefer to stay here vs other Columbus hotel's on my next trip. This Best Western is close to many great restaurants and pharmacies for stuff one forgets to pack or need at the last minute. Mark K. Clifton NJ

Hotel staff was great and very helpful and the amities were available all the time, breakfast was always hot and fresh,and a variety of food, the parking could have been better, had one hole side of parking taken up by bucket trucks when they were supposed to park on the side.

My DH and I were there to visit our son who was getting the officer training at Fort Benning last month. It was located little farther out from Fort Benning. So if you are visiting Fort Benning, you might want to find a hotel little closer to it. The room we had was clean and spacious. The front staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just what you would expect at mid-level hotels.

To be such a nice place it's significantly less than its competitors in the Columbus area. Located near plenty of restaurants. Very clean, quiet, decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Only complaint about the room is that decor is a bit too modern and uncomfortable; has this modular little couch from which it is difficult to watch the TV. The only other complaint was that the power company crews that were staying here were allowed to take up a significant part of the hotel parking, when they easily could have parked out on the street

This hotel is a bit outside of town and offers fairly basic amenities, but it was reasonably clean, of nice basic decor, very friendly staff, good breakfast, and exceptional value in terms of price. The breakfast offered more than I expected (certainly of generally higher quality and wider range than other hotels within the similar class). I would leave a 5-star except that our bathroom was bit tired and could have been a bit cleaner. However, overall it was a perfectly comfortable overnight stop for us.

Very clean! Very accommodating! Plenty of extra towels in the room and in the pool. Staff was always pleasant. There was in issue with our keycard so my sleepy daughter and I waited outside with our bags outside our room as my husband went to the front desk. Just a moment after he left a staff member came by, unlocked the door and helped bring the bags inside!

I've been traveling to Georgia a lot recently visiting my husband in Fort Benning. This will be my fourth time in three months that I've stayed in this hotel. They have an amazing staff, especially Toni! Every time you walk into the building they greet you with a warming smile. I would highly recommend this hotel! It's clean, cozy, and safe. I refuse to stay anywhere else!

We are supposed to travel there with a soccer team for state cup at the end of the month. I made our reservations a few weeks back for a reserved room block. When I got the confirmation email, it was for just one night and the wrong team. I called back right away and was assured it was changed. Today, I got a call from a manager because he said he sent the room list for the team to the incorrectly listed team's manager and they identified me as not with them. I again stated our team and he said he would switch it. No problem, right? Then I got a call from Toni. She called with the same issue, and asked if I was with (another incorrect team) which I stated no. She says they will cancel the old reservation and then make a new one. She said "So you are coming in July 26-28 with (yet another incorrect team name) for a king room?" All of that was wrong- the date, room type, team name, etc. Then she read back my email address incorrectly, too. When I got the email, it was wrong again! Wrong team and a higher rate for the room!!!!! I'm actually scared we won't have a room when we drive down there and Columbus GA is booked out that weekend for the tournament. I call back and she tells me that IS our team, as if I don't know what team my daughter has played on all year :( . I ask for the manager and Toni says he is not there (but he had called me 30 minutes earlier). Then she says she will have him call me right back after I state again how much is incorrect... so he IS actually there. I hope that the room quality does not live down to my low expectations at this point.

Very good service... great hotel.... excellent staff! Had a 34 hr reset/ lay over...Laundry mat was right around the corner.... as well as several restaurants... if I'm in the area I'll stay there again. Also enough parking for a big rig.

Traveled to Columbus for a visit with my son and his family. Accommodations were excellent, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and a pleasure to work with, especially Debra! I highly recommend this motel!

The front desk staff (Toni) was amazing she went above and beyond she helped other family members with needs. The staff shared in the excitement they remembered what was going on and this really made us feel welcome.l Ambreia with the cleaning staff was amazing as well she seemed to always be available with any need we had and always had a smile. I hope the hotel knows how special both of these ladies are and keep them around.

Me and my husband came down for a softball tournament the weekend of April 20,2018. The staff was great and Toni was real awesome. We will be back. That was our fourth time there amd each time we are they at that hotel we enjoy ourselves.

Looks are deceiving at this location. The outside may appear nice but once you make it through the lobby doors the odor is overwhelming. Rooms are bare basics and outdated. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. Would never stay here again.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Good breakfast (free!) Meeting room for our Hospitality Suite was spacious, and hotel management and staff were attentive and gracious hosts. Sales Manager Mark delivered everything promised and more. Special thanks to Toni at the Front Desk for outstanding support, and Debra was also a "go to" person on staff. The hotel was great for our All Airborne Awards Festival as restaurants and shopping were convenient. Great place for our convention.

I really enjoyed my stay. It's not at all what I expected. The hotel's decor was modern, open and airy. Has a fitness center, business center and pool although I did not use these. Had a very nice breakfast selection with make your own waffles and toppings, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, fruit, breads, hot items and drinks. Delicious cookies in the evenings and water with pineapple/watermelon that was very tasty. The room was very nice and modern. I had the king and it was like a suite with a desk and seating area with a chaise. Also, had fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. In a great location. Employees were very nice and had a reasonable rate. The only thing that was annoying which is probably the same for most hotels is the noise....could hear people moving around on the floor above, the man next door talking and room doors closing. I would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeper did not clean room. The towels were changed and that's about the extent of the service until a complaint was made to the front desk. The shower door fell of it's rollers while I was exiting after taking my shower. The decor in the hallway fell off the wall, almost hitting my 3 year old granddaughter.

We had to stay overnight for early morning hospital procedure. Check in was fast, Jasmine was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Check out with Toni was quick and she was very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a cross country move for the military. A lovely woman named Chan checked us in and another lovely woman, Toni, checked us out. In addition to providing great service, Toni was able to further assist me with my Best Western Rewards membership. As I had been away for over five years, she made sure I received credit for my stay and set me up for success with the rest of our trip across the country. This was a great hotel in a great chain with great employees. I highly recommend it!

My family and I stayed here for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. The rooms were immaculate; the staff very friendly. Toni at the front desk was lovely and so helpful with our room block (we had several rooms booked for family). The only thing I recommend is getting to the continental breakfast early because it ends at 9:00am, which is kind of early if you don't want to be up so soon on vacation. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Hair ball covering drain of shower. Hairs in sink in bathroom. Trash under credenza in room. Fitted sheets on both beds were too small kept popping up during the night. Inadequate toilet tissue supply. We had to go downstairs to front desk and ask for more.

we were 18 hours out traveling home from Italy. Cancelled flights etc. Finally arrived in Atlanta and chose to drive as far as we could towards our home in Florida. We found the Best Western Plus with an available room at 12:30 at night. We were kindly greeted by Debra at the front desk and had a great room quickly. The bed was comfy and the best we had had in 21/2 weeks! We slept like babies. Next morning a great American breakfast greeted us and we were on our way home. Thanks to Toni and Debra, we loved this place and will return if needed. Clean, new and better than the 5 stars we were staying in in Italy!

my overall experience was wonderful . friendly staff and just a pleasant place to stay . I only had a few minor problems but latoya on front desk was such a big help and she went out her way to make sure we were happy. ill never forget how nice she was or forget that beautiful face. My overall experience was memorable and I will recommend others to stay there. I mostly remember Latoya because you don't find good help like that these days

Our Stay was AWESOME, complimentary breakfast was always fresh every employee you came in contact with greeted you with a smile. My main impact was with the 2 Receptionist when you came in to check in Toni & Debra was very pleasant great personality made you feel very Welcome they aim to please We will be back in April for my son's graduation.

The lobby is expansive, light, and beautiful. The room was nice, but not quite as luxurious as the lobby/reception area. It was very quiet so we got a good sleep (the number one priority for people driving long distances). The hotel is about a block or so from a main street. It is easy to find. There are restaurants fairly close, but required getting back in the car. Breakfast was quite nice, especially the beautiful setting in the lobby. Would definitely stay there again.

I was there for my daughter's Championship Swim meet and we stayed for one night but our experience was great! Toni welcomed us in as soon as we walked in. She made sure we were checked-in, told us about the breakfast hours and just made us feel relaxed after being up since 4 am and sitting through the first part of the swim meet, with us trying to get a quick nap in before we have to return that evening for part 2. Excellent overall experience and I will definitely make this my hotel location when we come to back to the next meet.

Very pleased with my stay. I have booked some hotels due to their advertised images. So this time I went to the hotel and requested to see the room before I booked. Latoya was extremely nice and didn't hesitate to take me or complain. Rooms were just as shown on the site. I was glad to see that the whole hotel was as advertised and updated. The house keeper Dorothy did a good job cleaning the room. I was very glad I did not have to complain about anything, rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast was stocked and very nice. Overall I was just very pleased with my stay. I underestimated this place. Toni pleasantly checked us out as well. Very nice.

As a platinum rewards member i was treated to snacks and drinks and an upgraded suite without even asking. The staff was friendly and welcoming and lived up to previous Trip advisor reviews. My room was comfy, clean and nicely decorated. I will always stay here when in town!

A decent roadside place to stay. Not the highest end hotel, but very clean and well taken care of. The hotel is newer, so everything has the “spit and shine” and the quality is still very apparent. I had some minor issues during my three night stay, and the management took care of my concerns right away and were very receptive to the questions I had. All-in-all, the Best Western Plus Columbus/Ft. Benning is a decent place in a good location if your business or experiences in Columbus are near Ft. Benning or the world famous Houghston Clinic. And if you're in town for only a short period of time and just traveling through, it more than meets your needs. The staff are responsive and kind, the management listens to guests, and the atmosphere still has the shine of a new facility.

Staff were very friendly. Ashley was happy to talk and answer questions about the property and the area. Everything was clean and neat. My check in was trouble free and also informative. The wifi is easy to access and problem free.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here for the last 2 months due to his job, Ashley was the best house keeper out of everyone that cleaned our room. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

My check-in went fairly well. I arrived around 1:30 PM, which was a bit early of the normal check-in. But I received a quick check in. The assigned room wasn't quite ready. I went back to the front desk clerk Toni worked to accommodate me. She quickly touch base with the housekeeping staff to notify them of the "ready" error on its report. I received another room within minutes. The ambiance at the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and Toni did a great job maintaining the breakfast area and running the front desk.

We have staeyed here several times. This is our go to hotel when we visit our son who is stationed at Fort Benning. On our recent visit Toni was on front desk and she gave us the 5 Star Treatment! Thank you Toni!!! We will be back.

Toni really exceeded my expectations when I visited the hotel. I had just returned from an army school still dirty in my uniform and didn't expect to have such a pleasant stay at a hotel. Most of the hotels around fort Bennington are really dirty and overpriced due to the amount of transient soldiers going through the base. Once I hit the room, I immediately noticed how warm the room felt. I ate food that I desperately needed and noticed that there was plenty of room to lay out the clothing that I needed to take off. Once I was done with both, I took a calm and relaxing shower and slipped off to sleep. I hadn't gotten more than 4 hours of sleep in the past 3 days, so I was thankful to get about seven hours. It was great. When I came down to the front desk and missed breakfast, Toni, the front desk lady, handed me a to go bag that was perfect for the road. I started that day off great and enjoyed the remaining drive to my family.

I arrived late night and Mrs. Toni was so phenomenal! She was already expecting me when I arrived ?? She greeted me with a smile and great conversation. Check in was very simple and fast. When I was on my way to check out in the morning Mrs. Toni was headed up to make her rounds and stopped what she was doing, rode the elevator back down with me, just to check me out in a timely manner. I appreciate her so much.

When I entered the lobby I was warmly greeted by the young lady at the counter, Chan. We was delightfully friendly and recommended some great nearby restaurants. At checkout the next morning, Toni, was just a friendly and nice. I will be staying again at this Best Western every time my travels take me to Columbus, GA.

The staff and manager were very friendly . Toni made our stay very special. My kids loved the cookies they had in the lobby . The motel overall seemed well kept and nice . The breakfast was very good also. They had the usual cereals and danish but the waffle maker scrambled eggs, sausages,juices and biscuits made this a very good deal for our family.

Visiting my daughter in Ft Benning for the weekend. One employee the sticks out and shines is Toni. She goes above and beyond to make sure all is good and she has a great smile and disposition about her. Always makes sure the guests are happy and are her top priority. This hotel is very clean with a great breakfast service. The room bed pillows needs to be replaced as they are small and lumpy.

I was visiting my boyfriend for OCS and I was upset about the room not being clean after I used, but Toni the front desk lady took good good care of me and my family and I couldn't have made it through the weekend without her! I will be staying again!

Toni at the front desk is an exemplary employee. I observed and interacted with her several times during our stay. She resolved and reassured me when our reservation had accidentally been deleted by a gentleman I spoke with on the phone the night before. She advised an employee on the phone when the roads were snow covered in a very sensible and considerate manner (like a grandmother to her granddaughter.) Other staff in the breakfast area were equally as excellent and hardworking. Only bad thing was sheets and mattress pad were lumpy, too small and came off the corners at night. Keep trying!

Love, love, love this hotel. We stayed during the Christmas holidays, and all the employees worked hard to make us feel happy and at home - even though I'm sure they were sad to be away from their own families. Toni especially was beyond friendly and helpful - we felt she really took an opportunity to get to know us and make us feel welcome there. The room was clean and nice and comfortable and the breakfast very good. I won't stay anywhere else in Columbus in the future.

Our family traveled down here to watch our son graduate from bootcamp. After a 10 plus hour drive it was wonderful to be welcomed by Toni at the Front Desk. She was so friendly and helpful and she was just as excited about our visit as we were. She also greeted us each morning and inquired about any issues we may have had. The rooms were clean and it was a great treat to have cookies and fruit water in the lobby. I definitely would recommend your hotel to everyone!

We drove all through the night to make it to Family Day at Ft. Benning at 7 am and were exhausted! We called to see if we could get an early check in to take a power nap. Toni at the front desk was so sweet!! She got us in early with no hassle. Every encounter we had with her was awesome. Our room was modernized and comfortable, and the shades blocked the light so we could rest. The continental breakfast was WAY more than we were expecting. In addition to the standard bagels, pastries, and dry cereal, there was oatmeal, grits, a waffle station, yogurt, bacon, scrambled eggs, AND biscuits! There was also a juice machine which my daughter loved! We had a great stay!

Looking for a home away from home as my son's family has moved to the north Columbus area. We tried this Best Western because of Trip Advisor reviews. We certainly were pleased. Everything was as we had hoped. LaTonya checked us in effortlessly and we had a great nights sleep on the comfy bed and bedding. Kudos to Toni in guest services. Cute modern hotel that is conveniently located off of the highway & near many restaurants and shops. Friendly staff. Typical morning complimentary breakfast. Would recommend to those passing through the area & needing to overnight.

I had a great experience Toni the receptionist was great she made my experience very comfortable from the moment I checked in until I checked out. Very clean by far very well managed. Breakfast area was nice.

This is a beautiful hotel, but not clean. Shower floor was visibly dirty, bathroom floor had visible stains, phone in bedroom was filthy. Used a Kleenex to get the dirt and grime off. Floors had crumbs, a hairpin and other visible particles indicating that it had not been vacuumed. After all of these observations, I was leary of the rest of an otherwise gorgeous suite. Our room xx13 had a grotesque balcony of sorts outside of the window and view of school buses or the likes. The front desk staff was wonderful and quick to respond to our concerns. Fitness center, first thing in the morning had no clean towels and used towel from earlier was hanging from the return side. No wipes or cleaner to wipe down equipment after use. Breakfast was lousy unless you like packaged foods. Coffee was good. The rate we got was great. My advice, bring your Lysol, Clorox wipes, air cleaner and sanitize as you go.

My family and I had the best experience ever..Toni at the front desk makes you feel so welcome..she greets you at the door with a smile and will make sure you're satisfied while staying. As my husband went to check out she gave my husband a gift to bring back which included a nice fragrance from bath and body Works!!!! I've never seen anyone that joyful working on a holiday. The staff here and incredible! On top of their amazing customer service, the hotel is lovely. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and common areas for you to enjoy without having to stay in your room. The rooms are equally refreshing. Modern amenities and cleanliness are top priority here and it shows.

This is an excellent hotel and a great location convenient to downtown Columbus land Fort Benning. The staff was professional and courteous. The breakfast was enjoyable and had an excellent variety unlike other hotels. The eating area is excellent and spacious. They are on a dead end street so you don't hear cars driving by all night long. The room was excellent and we had plenty of room.

This is one of the prettiest Best Westerns I've stayed in. The staff is wonderful, night and day, and the location is excellent. Yummy breakfast each morning, with a variety of options. Comfortable dining room.

Booked this room because my son was graduating from Boot Camp. We got in early and wanted to check in, my reservation was lost but the front desk clerk Toni and her co-worker rebooked me and got us in really quickly. We (husband and I)went to lunch came back and asked the manager did they find my original reservation he said he had and had fixed everything so I would not be overcharged. The next day my bed came off the rails and even though it was a little snafu with the do not disturb sign he(maint. engineer) wrote us a letter saying he had been by to fix the bed and to call him back when we were available. We were out, I got the letter when we walked back into the room and was very pleasantly surprised that he had written that. I called him he and a housekeeper came to the room stripped and fixed the bed, we left for lunch. When we came back the room was spotless new fresh towels, the bed was fixed and made up. The rest of the time at the Best Western Plus Columbus/Ft. Benning was terrific. The staff was GREAT. Breakfast was good and had a good selection of food, and was piping hot early in the morning. My check out was smooth, we left super early to get back on the road. My stay was AWESOME and COMFORTABLE!

Staying at the best western felt like staying at the Hilton times 10!! I paid less for if not better quality. The accessible room has a overside stand up glass shower including a separate living room that can be a separate bedroom. The room is setup nice with comfortable beds and nice desk chair with Ethernet ports for your laptop or computer.

Hotel appearance and staff were both good/friendly. Room door was standing open on arrival with a Q-tip on the floor just inside. The Q-tip was still there after maid service the following day, suggesting the floors were not addressed. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure and bathroom were all good, TV was good. Didn't get to try breakfast. Overall, good experience except for key issues and the aforementioned cleanliness concern.

Courteous staff and quick service with check in and check out. The rooms were clean, quiet, and big. Two tvs. Nice, big bathroom. Comfortable bed. The only complaint I have is low water pressure in the shower.

Very nice hotel with the exception that the cleaning staff does not do a good job of cleaning or changing lining, Other then that i would definitely stay there again in the future. Breakfast was very good

Loved having a delicious breakfast in a large sun-filled room with outdoor patio for a beautiful Fall day. Nice area to walk nearby and discovered a small, but wonderful & historic Botanic Gardens nearby. Also had a meaningful, peaceful time attending Church at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Columbus. Super talk, friendly, welcoming folks, & architecturally interesting & historic building from the 1800's that is beautifully restored.

As a longtime BW Rewards member, I'll pass on this one next time around. The exterior and stark lobby are fine, but I experienced many of the same issues other reviewers have noted. My room was "basically clean" when I arrived. As in, yes, housekeeping (who I never once saw throughout my stay) had given it a quick once over. Mentioned it to the front desk guy on my way to dinner and he assured me he'd make a note of it. (Didn't offer a different room ~ probably because he knows they're all just "basically clean", lol.) That evening I discovered my toilet wasn't flushing properly. Was assured they'd "make a note of it". Next day my room wasn't made up. There were a couple of fresh towels but nothing else had been touched. Toilet wasn't fixed. Told the front desk staff again. Next day was a rinse & repeat of above. Toilet finally got fixed. Room never did get cleaned. Three days running there was a mattress leaning against a hallway wall. For all I know it's still there. The trash by the elevator was eventually emptied when it was at the point of overflowing. Most front desk staff spent more time away from the desk doing their own thing than they did manning the ship. When I left & hit the road, I remembered I'd left a Seahawks shirt on the (weird, unusable) chair in the corner. My bad for forgetting it, but should've been simple enough to pay & have them mail it back to me. Spent two weeks trying to get a call back from the hotel. Left a message for the manager, but never heard back. Finally was told that housekeeping (who magically appeared after I'd checked out) didn't find the shirt. Convenient! I really hate that you're charged "the full meal deal" at hotel no matter how slipshod the service is. Now I'll get the standard, canned reply from the manager, claiming that he's addressed all my issues (which start at the top, otherwise guests wouldn't be citing the same issues repeatedly) and asking that I give the BW Columbus another try to make mine a "perfect" stay. Thanks, but no thanks.

Recently stayed at this hotel while visiting our son at Fort Benning. Hotel staff at the front desk was pleasant but spent more time watching TV then anything else. Our rooms, all three of them, or dirty upon arrival and stayed that way throughout our stay. Hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while as evidenced by dust and debris lines, hair on bathroom floors and in showers, overall dirty feel to a newer establishment) housekeeping staff was rude and basically non-existent. The makeup of The Suite room really work for our family though as they gave us two individual places to relax in the evening. I've stayed at worse but I have stayed at much much better for the same price.

Please avoid this hotel! The general manager is awful. Used this hotel for a school event. They cancelled our reservation due to a “glitch”. General manager reprimanded our kids for another teams infractions, this is not a group friendly hotel. Shame on them for being in the hospitality industy.

Absolutely the most horrible hotel management ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. You'll be so glad you avoided this horrific Best Western experience and so much better off. Our reservations were completely screwed up. The management was extremely unfriendly in rectifying their mess up. The billing was wrong. Our entire group was treated with contempt and complete lack of hospitality.

I have no complaints and nothing but good things to say. The cookies and citrus water available all day were an unexpected pleasure. Free fresh (good) coffee was a Godsend for my wife and I. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with extra pillows to boot!

We always stay at Best Western Plus when we visit our son in Columbus. It is extra clean, the staff are extremely helpful and polite, and the rooms are very comfortable and cozy! The lobby is a great atmosphere for gatherings.

We traveled with a High School softball team and the staff at this hotel was very helpful and accommodating! The breakfast was quick and easy. They allowed us in early to decorate the rooms. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

We were running from Hurricane Irma as we live in Florida. We wound up in Columbus at this Best Western Plus. This stay was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. I am still looking to buy pillows like the ones on my bed because they were wonderful. Even in the midst of a large number of people running from storms, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to staying here again sometime.

I don't write reviews. I usually believe a hotel was just having a bad day. However, if I can save anyone from staying at this hotel I will. The rooms yes multiple rooms had a strong odor to them. There was a used washcloth left in my bathroom. I could see dust and stuff on the TV stand. If I could of found another hotel with a room I would of left. The staff had a complete I don't care attitude. I went and bought Clorox wipes and room deodorizer just to stay. The final straw was when I watched the manager park in the first handicap spot and walk into the hotel, the only other spaces were in the back.

We went to visit family in Georgia, and stayed at this Best Western. When we first entered the room, there was a foul odor, and all the furniture in the room was covered in a thick dust. There was no hot water in the room. My husband went to the front desk and told them about our issues, and a gentleman said to leave the water run for awhile, but he would check on it. He stated this was usually a problem on the 3rd floor not the 2nd floor. He never offered to send anyone to clean the room or to move us to another room. I ended up just cleaning the entire room myself. The next day the water was scalding hot to shower, with no cold water. If you turned the knob to cold, you just had no pressure, and the water was still scalding hot. My husband went to the front desk again, and was told they had no where to move us to again. We ended up handing each other cold water in cups from the sink to mix with the scalding water, just to shower. Horrible. The couch and the carpet had numerous stains on them. I bought blankets and threw them on the couch. The mini refrigerator froze everything you put in there, could not adjust the temperature. The only good thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable.

My husband and I drove down for little brothers graduation. We were in a bind and needed a place to stay (our other hotel smelled of cigarette smoke). Best Western (Chan) got us our room and early check in , we were so thankful. They gave us a military discount however told my dad no. He said they can only give so many military discounts in one day.... very odd. Our room was a bit noisy but beds were very comfy! When we arrived I went to put my baby down for a nap and saw hair all in the sheets. My husband smelled it and realized they did not get changed. We called house keeping and they came right up and took care of it. Breakfast options for people with gluten/vegan dietary restrictions was slim to none. Decor - modern and clean Staff - welcoming and friendly Room - comfortable

The only issue was the vending machine not dispensing the right drink. Everything was perfect! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit their soldier for family weekend. I had the suit room and there was plenty of space!

Top notch hotel with everything you need, want and could ask for and close to so much in Columbus. Really enjoyed our stay as we visited with friends stationed at Ft. Benning. Nearby The Landing Shopping area has every restaurant and shop you could want. Plus a play area for the kids.

The hotel was updated he front desk staff was all very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the sheets on my bed (rm 428) appeared to have been left from the previous guest. They were covered in long human hair as well as aome kind of animal hair, as well as crumbs. I didn't discover this until very late and my daughter was already asleep in the other bed. At that point it would have been more inconvenient to have the problem fixed, so I laid out towels to sleep on. Additionally, my mother stayed two doors down (rm 432) and there was a large, wet stain on her chaise lounge that still wasn't dry by the time we checked out. Further, when we arrived at our rooms, the housekeeper was laying on the floor behind her cart, playing on her phone (perhaps relaxing during the time she should have been changing sheets?). Generally, the hotel was nice, the common areas clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I can't rate the hotel higher because the person assigned to housekeeping for our rooms isn't maintaining the same standard as the rest of the hotel.

A good value for the price! I felt the breakfast area was very clean and a good breakfast I did find it very uncomfortable stepping off the elevator on the third floor and to be slapped in the face with unusual warm temperature but the room was very cold

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. I just wish they had more selection on the table for breakfast. The outside was very clean and evgen the bed was luxurious. I would stay here again.

Not the worst hotel-not the best. Staff doesn't seem to have it together. Room very small and modern. It didn't seem to be cleaned well. Breakfast area was also small and had a strange layout. And again furniture was modern and not comfortable at all! I am guessing they have been doing some repairs to the ceiling above the dining area because there was dust and debris on table decorations and around that had not been cleaned. When waiting for my husband to check out there were people wandering around the parking lot that just gave me and uneasy feeling. The hotel was fine for just an overnight stop but would not stay here or recommend

We love BWP and stay as often as finances allow it, as we travel to Columbus every weekend. The employees are awesome, rooms are comfortable, clean and decor is modern, breakfast hits the spot. We enjoy relaxing at the pool when we can grab a little time in the sun (not the old timers music). We call this BWP our "home away from home".

Evacuated our home during hurricane Irma. Many others did the same. Facility was full the days we stayed. Staff worked hard to satisfy everyone's needs. During our stay,there was a problem with the toilet in our room. Even though we accidentally caused the problem,it was handled calmly and quickly. Staff went over and above to make all people comfortable during a very trying time.

We were running from Hurricane Irma and even though they are not pet friendly they happily accepted our 4 dogs to stay and over all they were great!! Ran out of coffee and plates and breakfast but other than that, a wonderful place to stay. Newly remodeled so it is beautiful!!

New curtains sit inside windows so theres no pesky shades that dont ever quite close. Staff nice and flexible when it counted as we were all staying due to hurricane Irma. The staff cared and made it a good stay.

Very recommending this hotel, clean friendly cheap, we run from Irma hurricane and they give us chance to stay 4 adult and 3 kids in same room plus dog. Thank you guys for all we well never forget this.god bless this people.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Columbus, GA when I traveled to spend time with my son who had just completed basic training in Ft. Benning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area. Cleans rooms, excellent staff, breakfast, great rooms.

The Hotel & Room was clean. Good location to airport and Fort Benning. Employees were helpful and polite. Breakfast was hot and a good selection each day. Coffee and hot water available all day. We enjoyed our 5 day stay there.

I require a certain expectation of hotel rooms. This 1 met all of them. Clean, friendly staff, great location, great hot breakfast, great price. Can't beat this hotel. Stayed in king executive suites which have microwave and mini fridge. 2 separate rooms - bedroom and living room with L-shaped couch that could sleep 2 people

In what appears to be a new building. The staff was very friendly and helpful and understanding. The building was close to what appeared to be a newer section of the city and close to a variety of fast food. I would recommend this to business and leisure alike. It was worth every penny.

My nephew was graduating from boot camp, so we decided to make the trip to see him. We arrived at the hotel, and the front desk clerk was really friendly, and efficient. He was able to place all 3 of us from the same family on the same floor in rooms that were near each other. The hotel lobby was very clean and smelled nice. After check in we went to our room. The room was really nice and clean. The beds were soft as well. The continental breakfast was delicious and had a variety of items to choose from. We would definitely stay there again if we were ever in the area.

The staff was unfriendly, and very unprofessional. The front desk staff were often lounging in the lobby and seemed annoyed that they were at work. After our sheets not being changed, new towels replaced, trash taken out our room started to smell. I went down to very politely ask for a larger trash bag to take out the trash on my own and was informed by the front desk woman with a huge afro that the hotel "did not have any trash bags". When I inquired if housekeeping might have some, they replied that housekeeping had gone home for the day. All she needed to do was take 30 seconds and go into the closet and get a trash bag. After realizing she would be no help I had to steal a trashbag from a trashcan on the second floor. I actually took out the trash and threw it in the dumpster, but there were two trashbags left by the elevator that had been sitting in the hall for two days ignored by housekeeping. I asked for our sheets to be changed two time and received and snotty response, and no changed sheets. Our room did not receive any housekeeping for 4 out of the 5 nights i stayed. In addition I saw large bugs on the 3rd floor, and our carpet had several stains on it. I was polite in my interactions with the staff, so there was no reason for them to blatently ignore my reasonable requests. I am very disappointed with how my stay went, and I will likely not be staying with best western again.

The facilities are nice, but do not expect typical BW breakfast. In addition, don't expect much help at front desk. In most cases, there was no one at the front desk, so we always had to wait until someone showed up. Then the info they provided was generally not very helpful. Rooms were nice, clean, and quite comfortable. Service was annoying.

Young lady named Jabril was one of the best at her job. Made our stay a pleasure. She was at the front desk and personally took care of any problems. She is a great asset to Best Western hotel & resorts. If you had more like her your success would be totally assured.

This hotel was very clean and the furnishing were nice and new. I only gave it four stars because of the breakfast and our maid. The hot breakfast was cold every morning. Our room did have a little food on the wall in the corner of our room, not a huge deal, it happens. But our second day there, when we returned, one bed was made and the other was not. The maid left a note saying she was sorry she didn't have time to make it-which was really weird. She gave us clean towels, which was great, but not any shampoo which we were out of. I would still recommend this hotel as it is very clean and well maintained. It is within minutes from the uptown attractions and has plenty of restaurants and stores nearby which is convenient.

I chose to stay here because I previously stayed in a Best Western in Colorado Springs and had a very pleasant experience there. The price per room here in Columbus was excellent for a 3 star hotel, less than 80 dollars. The rooms and facilities are clean, attractive, and comfortable. Breakfast offered was good and included waffle maker! Cereal, fruit, eggs and sausages were also included. The location is convenient and close to highway 80 and 185. I recommend this hotel.

Staff was very pleasant and professional. The area is very quite yet close enough to dinning and shopping. Fort Benning is about 20 minutes away and Pine Mountain is 30 plus minutes away. The pool area was clean.

This is a nice, clean, quiet motel, and the breakfast was quite good. My only minor complaint is that when I called the front desk to get some help because the TV wasn't working properly, the person at the front desk said she couldn't send anyone to help because she was the only staffer on site. (My husband did figure out that the HDMI cable was in the wrong port, an easy fix.)

We stopped here on the way to Florida. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Super friendly staff. The beds were comfortable but the pillows a little harder than what I prefer. Our room had a stand in shower only. Definitely recommend this place. The breakfast was good.

When we arrived in Columbus, we checked into one of the worst hotels ever that was under construction and falling apart. We immediately left and went to this Best Western Hotel. As soon as we walked into the lobby we could just smell how fresh and clean this hotel was and it was very beautiful. Jabri was the employee that checked us in. She was so nice and courteous. Every time we would see her she would ask us how it was going. All the staff was very friendly. The breakfast is more than a muffin and coffee, it's a hot breakfast, eggs, waffles, sausage or bacon. The room has everything you need and it is very beautiful and clean. I would love to stay at this hotel again. It really made our trip a nice trip. I highly recommend this hotel!

This Best Western was a great hotel. It look to be new or newly renovated. The room where very clean and my husband said that the bed was best hotel bed he slept in a while. Only complaint is that the room curtains do not close all the way. They use some type of shade but it still allows the sunlight to come in. Also breakfast is over at 9am not 10m.

Nice clean hotel. Stayed 2 nights and everything was perfect. Breakfast was yummy from waffles eggs and bacon. Cereal and muffins or sweet rolls. Easy to get to ft Benning from here. The beds were comfy.

An excellent base for visiting Columbus. Fast access via I184 to all attractions and top rated restaurants. Our room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, waffles, sausage patties and everything. We would definetely come back.

The hotel and the room were both clean and comfortable. It is very easy to get to off of the highway. And although it is a solid twenty minutes or so from Fort Benning, it is worth the stay if you're looking for a place to crash for family day/graduation of your solider.

My husband and I, along with 4 adult family members, were in Columbus, GA to see our nephew graduate from OSUT Training at Ft. Benning. The hotel is a very easy drive to the Fort, and was very clean and comfortable! We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and ready for use! I would have given it the highest rating except that on both mornings they were out of coffee and the front desk clerk had to jump in and help out the 1 kitchen person who was handling all the complimentary breakfast. I definitely would stay there again!

Overall a great stay but noise of others around us was horrible lost sleep over them being so loud was reported but still continued to hear the loud noise an could not sleep would have been excellent if we could of slept in peace

From start to finish we received top notch service. Hotel is clean and beautiful, I found this hotel to be very affordable and close to shopping as well as restaurants. Breakfast was good bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and waffles I could have really used some sausage gravy. Definitely will stay here again and again.

Nice clean hotel. Just stayed overnight. As good or better than Hampton or Courtyard. AAA rate was $80ish. Friendly staff. BW is definitely stepping their game up. Breakfast was good. Not Hilton level. But good nonetheless. I would stay again.

My family and I stayed here while in town for a wedding and the entire staff went out of there way to make us feel at home The manager even came out and spent time with us. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very spacious we will recommend this hotel to everyone we know

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and neat. I work construction and we cover the south east. My crew does not expect a lot but they were impressed. As a side note my wife was a GM for a large hotel chain, so it takes a lot to get a better than average.

We spent 3 nights here for a Ft. Benning graduation and were very happy with it. The staff were very warm and friendly, the breakfast was good and plentiful, the beds were so comfortable. Lots to do and eat close by. Will definitely stay here again!

Very clean property, comfortable (soft) bed, good wi-if, breakfast lacks variety and sometimes quality,but overall great place! I would stay again. About 15-20 minutes from Ft. Benning. Great place to stay and not worry about unclean conditions or staff that is not helpful.

I travel often for business and I'm a frequent guest at this property because of the staff and the quality of the property. Tara is a blessing to deal with and I've had issues at the hotel but they have always been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. It's one of the nicer properties in Columbus Ga.

New building, comfortable beds, free WiFi, free breakfast. We booked a room eith a king bed, and we had a large room that also had a nice couch, and small desk. Booked through Tripadvisor same day, and got a great value.

We stayed here for one night for a concert. The hotel was nice and all staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were of decent size and clean besides we had one comforter that smelled like urine. The staff came right away to change our the bedding. Overall nice hotel for the price.

This place was nice - you have to get to the rooms through the front lobby - no outside doors. Clean rooms - comfortable beds - great showers - big breakfast - friendly staff. Lots of parking - restaurants within walking distance. Great location.

My check-in experience was frustrating. The check-in time was 3:00 PM, and I showed up on the dot to check-in. The woman at reception said my room was not ready and to return in 30 minutes and that she would make sure it was ready by that time. I then came back more than an hour later, and a different woman said my room was still not ready and that there were people ahead of me, even though I had asked over an hour and a half earlier. After waiting an additional 15-20 minutes my room was finally ready. This was extremely frustrating as I had not only driven 11 hours that day and the time I spent waiting for my room to be ready was time wasted that I could have spent seeing my husband, who I hadn't seen in months that was stationed in Georgia. While everything else at the hotel was great, the check-in process and service disappointed me greatly.

This is beautiful hotel. Much superior to Hampton Inns which we usually use. Very clean-up yes even the carpet! Wide corridors which are very helpful in minimizing noise in the guest rooms. Bigger than average bathrooms with granite showers, so no issue with grout. The breakfast was standard free hot breakfast with waffle maker, eggs,sausage,etc. The breakfast person seemed to be having trouble keeping up however,even though there were only 8 people eating when we were there at 7:30. Beautiful big lobby.

The desk staff is very friendly and polite. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The décor is bright and fresh. Updated and very clean. Close to food and shopping.. Just minutes from the downtown arts center. We felt welcomed here and would stay again.

We happened upon this hotel, luckily....we often stay in Best Westerns, but this one is above and beyond!! Staff: Great! Very friendly and very accommodating. Very new and nicely appointed...bed: PERFECTION! Water pressure: excellent. Breakfast: wonderful and varied and tasty. Outdoor seating: (we enjoy a smoke and a cocktail of an evening):AWESOME! Including very comfortable seating with tables and a gas fire pit! This is hands down one of the best hotels we have stayed in: all this and budget friendly, too! We would recommend this hotel without question if you are going to be in the Columbus area!

The employees were friendly the lobby and room was very nice grounds were clean was not impressed with the breakfast no meat coffee was not good did like the shower there was no tub which we do not use we would stay there again

When I made this reservation I asked for early check in. I was told all I had to do is call the office and they could get that for me! I was not able to check in until after 3 pm! We were very tired from driving 10 hours to this hotel! Once we finally got in, they did not have any extra toiletries like they advertised! Then I forgot my favorite pillow in the room and I was told they did not find the pillow in the room! We were very disappointed in our stay! We only stayed one nite, we stayed some where else the following night!

You will not be disappointed. great service. Great breakfast. Great comfort. Great deal. Close to the strip mall and IMAX, blowing and much much more. Use UBER to get around. That to is a great service to the city of Columbus Ga

Tara at the front desk was awesome. we are not from the area and she went out of her way for us to find spots of interest. She seemed to always be at her position and Lend a hand.The maintenance person I believe his name was Jonathan was everywhere,from taking care of the pool to fixing a small problem with the shower.Very nice and professional people and hard workers whic we really appreciated.

If you've been to another Best Western Plus location in the US, then you've been here. It freaked is out a little when we first arrived because it is identical to other hotels. Overall, we had a great experience at this Best Western Plus. The hotel staff have been very friendly and accommodating. When we checked in, I asked for a quiet room and Debra did her best to find us a room away from the groups of student athletes who were also staying here. Housekeeping is a little spotty - one day was good the other was pathetic. All together, I would stay here again.

We recently stayed for 4 days, but had to make 3 separate reservations due to payment methods. The staff was very helpful in making sure I and my 3 little people could remain in the same room for our whole stay, even tho we booked under different reservations. The rooms were clean, and there was decent variety for breakfast.

We evacuated from Matthew, showed up early, but got no respect from the woman behind the desk. We were told and accommodation would be made to an early arrival, but the woman at the desk said nothing would be available until 3 o'clock. We saw her turning other people down. This was an emotional time. Loud raucous music was being played in the lobby. We requested it be turned down while we waited 3 hours for a room. We were told it was policy of best Western to keep the volume loud. We were tired and sad about the hurricane bearing down on us, so the impersonal reception we received was upsetting. The mattresses and the breakfast were weak. We would have gladly paid more for a more receptive admittance.

Less than a week apart staying at a Best Western. Hotel was rate very affordable, staff very accommodating and friendly. Room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. Loved the outdoor seating. Would highly recommend staying there if in the area.

We were in Columbus for our sons graduation from Basic Training at Fort Benning. I don't normally stay at Best Western but this one had good reviews and I got a fantastic rate. Best Western Columbus - Fort Benning did not disappoint! We were greeted by a very helpful desk agent. My wife half-jokingly asked if he had a lint roller and although there wasn't one at the desk, he went to his car and got one of his own for her to use. Wow! Talk about great service! Our room was beautiful and spotless, it even smelled clean! Everything was new and nice. No peeling wallpaper or dingy furniture or poorly installed shower heads like so many other places have. The TV offered so many channels, instead of the typical 15-20 that most places give you, and they were offered in standard or high def! Breakfast in the lobby was pretty much the usual standard fare, not bad but not great, It would have been nice if it was better stocked when three college soccer teams came down for breakfast on Saturday morning. But all in all, I really can't complain. This was easily the best value in a hotel stay that I have ever had. If we're ever down to Fort Benning again (our son hopes we never have to. lol), we will definitely stay here again.

Came for Turning Blue ceremony and graduation from Fort Benning. Very clean and maintained property. Found no defects or noticed any thing in disrepair or unclean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was more than the cold normal fare. Would definitely book again.
