The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The beds were very uncomfortable and seem to be broke. The room did not smell good. Will never stay at another Best Western. When ask if we could have a different room at check in was told no.

We have been Best Western Members since our daughter started college at LWC. Our room was very clean and the beds nice and comfortable with good pillows. We slept very well. The coffee in the room tasted good too. I would recommend Best Western Columbia to anyone.

Nice room. Friendly staff. Best hotel breakfast yet!! We were traveling of course, and really wanted a jacuzzi suite to help our little car aches and pains. Lol. Staff was very helpful getting us this room. And again, probably the best hotel breakfast I can remember having. And this is a big deal to me. As most advertised breakfasts aren't very good at best. We'll be making this location a regular stop

We were in town to watch a Lindsey Wilson football game. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Brenda in the breakfast area had a nice array of breakfast items to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to people coming to the area

Motel is affordable, well managed, neat, & clean. Courtesy breakfast offers healthy options for everyone & is yummy. Brenda goes above &beyond assisting customers with breakfast. I will return many more times.

Staff was welcoming and did there job well. Dennis and Brenda where very helpful. Room was clean. The location was ideal and had many places to eat out at. I recommend this hotel to others that maybe visiting Columbia, KY.

Very good breakfast friendly staff!! My oil pool Brenda was amazing the room was clean a little dirt on our sheets but still a very nice stay close to other food and gas stations and attractions easy walk from your room to breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the front desk and Brenda for breakfast lady was great I would highly recommend this place. I am visiting again October 28. Also pet friendly. It was easy access to get in and out and the people working there made it feel like we were visiting family

This location has absolutely everything that I look for in an overnight stay! Great location, super staff, clean room, comfy bed, hot water, great water pressure, soft towels, super delicious hot breakfast with lots of food choices and very friendly people!!! Parking was very easy as well.

Wonderful place I enjoyed it loved the hotel they treated us like family now days wvery hotel I check in at the treat us like we are going to destroy the room or something because we are young they assume we are bad people and this place did not judge us they were wonderful and even gave us a late check out no problem no questions asked

The front-end staff was very courteous and friendly. We stayed in a "king" room which was very clean. This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel (last time 3 yrs ago) and was just as good as the 1st time. Brenda in the breakfast area was "johnny-on-the-spot" keeping things cleaned up and stocked. She even accommodated my wife's request to get some plain eggs (they were serving omelets that day).

The Staff is so friendly and nice, and our room was very clean with super comfy beds. The breakfast that Brenda had all prepared for us was really delicious. We have stayed here three different times now over the past year and this will continue to be where we will stay when we come to town. We particularly like the location, as we can walk to local restaurants and shopping as well as to Lindsey Wilson College and football stadium. Definitely recommend!

Beds are hard and uncomfortable. I found dirty towels in the bathroom and red stains that appeared to be blood on the carpet near the sink. I would not stay again, if the hotel we originally planned on staying in had openings wI would have left.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly. We were put in a smoking room by Booking.com, and the hotel didn't have a room available to swap. That was not the fault of the hotel. The bed in the room was not clean enough for me so I slept in the chair. But. The food was good and I felt at home.

Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, biscuits, sausage and sausage gravy. Brenda was super nice and helped me make fresh waffles on the cast iron waffle maker. Rooms are nice and clean and cozy. Beds are very comfortable

My stay was very nice the staff was very friendly and welcoming always smiling my room was clean and the breakfast was very good from other hotels I have been to in the past this one was by far the best hotel to serve hot breakfast with many different options to choose from hot an cold will definitely be back

This was my first time staying and it was very pleasant and enjoyable! The staff and managers here were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! My room was clean and they even had a hot breakfast! I will definitely be back and recommend staying here!

The bathtub in my room was very dirty. It had a few dirt rings around it and was dirty at the bottom where you stand. There was an extremely dirty white cloth sitting on the coffee maker. It looked to be a cleaning rag. Also, there was a loud noise against the wall every so often that kept me woke most of the night. When I went out to investigate, there was an emplyee in there watching tv.

This was my first visit to Columbia, KY! Not knowing much about the town, I would have had a hard time navigating my visit if it weren't for the staff. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me and my gf. When we didn't have a ride the day off - my receptionist, Staysha, let me borrow her car! to drop off my gf at the airport, which was early in the morning. Staysha and Logan in reception have raised the bar of hospitality in my eyes. Best Western Columbia is going to be my choice of stay every time I visit the town from now on!

Staff are welcoming and courteous. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. My wake up call was on time. My room had everything I needed. Best beds I've ever slept on thanks.

There's one room they rent out over and over so it's worn and gross. You pay more than $100 a night to sleep in like 200 people's dirt. The owner charges you, for whatever after you leave so I'd advise making sure to use a card where you can switch money out of it so his absurd and inevitable charge will be declined. This man is GREEEEEEDY. I has a friend who needed to stay there while it was snowing. His mom called and got one price. It was $20 more when he got there, and then $20 more on top of that the next night. Just cuz the guy can. Sleezy. The other two people who worked there while I was there were excellent. It's the owner/manager who I can't stand. You just don't do people that way. It's disgusting. Also, Watch out the concrete is SLICK when wet. I fell and hurt myself (didn't report it, because what's the point). But for someone... just be wary of the slick walkways outside the rooms.

This is a former disgruntled employee who has not stayed here. please remove this review as it is a false claim.

I've stayed at several hotels lately for business and pleasure, other Best Westerns and other chain hotels and this one by far is definitely my favorite. Mary, at the front desk went above and beyond the normal hotel clerk Customer service requirements. She definitely answered any and all questions I might have had. But not only that by the time I left I felt like I'd known her for years. That's definitely how you keep guest returning for future visits. I will definitely be staying here in the future. I hope all the staff I meet here is as friendly and knowledgeable as Mary!

Excellent facility and staff. Went out of their way to make my stay very comfotable and ver helpfull. Rooms are clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Plenty parking. Fast food, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy etc. within a 5 minute walk. Will stay here everytime in Columbia, Ky

Friendly attentive staff in a quaint small town. Older hotel in good condition. Staff could not have been more attentive. They gave good directions for different dinner restaurants. Hot breakfast was good and had choices to eat.

This was a great stay! Perfect location right off the Parkway. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and offers a wonderful hot breakfast. Hot showers although the toilet flushes a little slow, overall this was a great stay and will be returning here every year.

We only stayed one night .But the employees were really nice and helpful .The place was clean . The young man at the front desk was very helpful and kind with all aspects of his job. He really represents Best Western well. Thanks

The staff was very nice, but it didn't feel fiery clean. Old dog food in parts of the room and a few spots on our sheets. Just didn't feel clean like I'm used to from a best western. Would look around next time.

Staff and rooms were amazing, yhe only problem me and my family had were the beds mattresses to be exact we did not get any sleep everything else was extremely nice the breakfast was really nice and fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, gravy, biskets, sausage, cereal, yougert, and much more something for everyone.

I spent the entire weekend of July 11 here, and I had to book a room at the very last minute, even as there were almost no available rooms. Not only did Mary at the front desk help me get the best possible room from the remaining rooms, but she gave me a more than reasonable discount. Even Hiro, the general manager, takes an active interest in helping customers personally. The staff is extremely cordial, and the rooms are genuinely very well-kept. I really have nothing bad to say about the hotel. Everything was great, and I have every intention of putting up at this place every time I return to Columbia!

Room smelled of smoke, bathroom walls had peeling wallpaper that exposed all the black mold. Drawer hands broken and bedding linens had tears and holes in them. Would rather sleep in my car next time.

Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to detail. Found hair in the hot tub, food in the freezer, and dust in various places. Overall the stay was enjoyable. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is also the only location in the area I could find with open hot tubs.

Do yourself a favor and never book this place. The location is horrible. The rooms are terrible. There was white stuff on the floor to keep the bugs away. I would give it a zero star rating if I could. The pictures that you see on here are misleading. It's a dump.

The Best Western in Columbia, KY has an exceptional value and beautiful view. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are always courtious and go above and beyound to be acommodating and make the guests stay enjoyable

The hotel and staff were excellent. Would recommend this hotel. Will definately be back with my family. The staff went the extra mile to make my stay very enjoyable and recommended places to visit and eat.

I stayed for several weeks due to property purchase, I found this BW wonderful, Employess Larry (LC), Dennis, Mary and Hiro to be EXTREMELY helpful and kind, they went above and beyond to help me with my relocation from California to this fine State of Kentucky, I will be forever grateful!

Upon Check in, there was a plexiglass screen, but it did not cover the entire area. Additionally staff member did not wear a mask or put one on when I checked in as required by state regulations. Room was alright, however, bed was old and creaky. Toilet did not have enough power. Also road noise was loud throughout night for being off a major highway. Further, upon check out, neither the general manager, nor another staff member were wearing masks when walking around the hotel or interacting with me at the front desk.

I would highly recommend them! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. No signs of bugs or rodents! Rooms are very well stocked and the beds are super comfortable! The only problem we had was we had to check out super early at 4 am the next morning to get where we were going the next day and there was no staff available at the front desk to turn our key into. We took them and placed them back in the room then realized we forgot something in the room. We were not able to get back in to get it since there was no one available at the front desk. Thankfully it wasn't something important! Just wish they had staff at the front desk at all times!

This motel was a bit run-down in my estimation.The interior needed work, the shower curtain was torn along the top and the pillows were VERY small. It was adequate, but nothing more. Mary (at the desk) was phenomenal! She was very pleasant and helpful and available to assist with anything you might need.

Great place to stay. Close to restaurants, stores and the ballfield. Employees very helpful and polite. Would stay again and recommend to anyone. Clean rooms and great breakfast served by Brenda. Con: needs larger breakfast room.

We were amazed by the the awesome free breakfast. Plenty of variety..tasty..and Brenda kept it very neat and tidy. Brenda was very welcoming and pleasant. She always spoke and was warm and friendly. She greeted us each morning and was available if we needed anything at all.

I stay in Columbia Kentucky once a month for the doctoral program on in. I have stayed aunt all the hotels in Columbia Kentucky and I have to say the Best Western in Columbia Kentucky is the friendliest staff and the best breakfast in town who go out of their way to provide the best accommodations ever. An extra hats off to Miss Brenda who gets the breakfast ready every morning. The breakfast is amazing always hot and fresh and Miss Brenda serves it with a smile. So when staying in Columbia Kentucky make sure to stay at the Best Western.

All of the team members at BW Columbia were cheerful, friendly and made sure pure stay was a pleasant experience. The morning breakfast was a wonderful way to start my day and Brenda made sure everything was fresh, clean and well presented. Bends even made an extra little snack for us to take on our long journey home. Thank you!

After long day bicycling I ended up in Columbia and this hotel. Right off the bat it is in a perfect location within walking distance of places to eat and stores. My room was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable.This stop was for rest, so after dinner I spent a quiet night in room. Could not have been any better. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding and had a real personal touch to it. At this point I really wanted to never leave. This was a perfect stop along my cross country bicycle journey. I stayed in town for one night with 3 family members for LWC graduation. First the positives: good location, spacious room, had a fridge/microwave, it was clean, and the staff were super friendly. Negatives: there were outdoor corridors and no elevators. Everyone in my party found the beds uncomfortable and so loud! You couldn't roll over or get in and out of the bed without the bed squeaking horribly and waking everyone up. Also, we were looking forward to the breakfast after all the rave reviews and were disappointed because the biscuits were undercooked and the bacon was so hard it crumbled. But we had no other alternative for breakfast because we were on a time schedule to get to the graduation. If you are only staying for a night, are traveling alone, and are willing to gamble on whether the breakfast will be good or not then I say go for it. However, for us the negatives outweighed the positives and none of us got a good nights sleep.

Was pleasantly surprised by the neat and clean rooms and reception area of this hotel. A very well kept property with a friendly staff. In the morning we were greeted like family to a fine assortment of hot and cold food items. Brenda cooks up a awesome breakfast.

Mary and her staff have welcomed us for a couple years now when our Model A club has overnighted in Columbia en route to tours in Alabama. We appreciate their consideration in reserving our rooms so they are all adjacent and on first floor enabling us to park our antique cars right in front our rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Brenda warmly welcomes us in the morning to an ample, delicious breakfast! All in all, their friendliness, professionalism, courtesy and consideration keeps this Best Western on our list for our tours and travels.

Had no problems booking a pet friendly room or a smoking room. Dennis made check in fast and easy. He also remembered us from previous visit. Rooms where nice and clean. Nice breakfast available, with good variety for everyone. The location we stayed at even left dog biscuits at the door after cleaning our room.

We had an awesome experience! We checked in extremely fast, therefore we were in our room in less than 10 minutes of arrival of the hotel. We had very clean and room that we had a very great nights rest. The next morning we went to breakfast and had just a wonderful breakfast. The cook was just the sweetest and made you feel right at home! We had a very good stay

I called to confirm my reservation before we traveled 5 hours. The receptionist was extremely helpful!! I had to add an additional room and wanted an adjoining room and she accommodated my family without hesitation. We will be back!!!

The hotel was clean no frills place. A solid 4. What made it a 5 was Dennis and Brenda. both super helpful and always anticipating your needs. From providing me an old towel to wipe off my car to a tray to make it easier to take breakfast to our room for my wife. BTW,Outstanding breakfast.

This is a Very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very polite and informative. Ms Brenda's breakfast was great. It had a variety of things to choose from and the dining area was clean

If you're ever down around Columbia KY and need a hotel this is the one. Rates are reasonable, the rooms are comfortable and very clean and the free breakfast is fantastic. Brenda makes the breakfast each morning and it includes scramble eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon, biscuits, gravy and of course coffee. They offer something for everyone such as cereal, roll and more. All of the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

It's a nice place with clean rooms. Close to a number of fast food places and also close to Lindsey Wilson College campus and theiir football stadium.The staff is great and super nice. The breakfast is good.

This motel has been using deceptive photos for a long time .,.,., there has not been a Hot Tub out by the pool, yet after repeated requests, they have not corrected their advertising! We have complained to the owner and to Best Western customer service to no avail. I've waited a few weeks to post this negative review hoping it would be corrected. Don't be duped like we were.

Checked in around 5:00pm on a Sunday evening. Very clean lobby and Mary at the front desk was very courteous and helpful in recommending some places to eat. When we got to the room we couldn't get the tv to work so checked with Mary at the front desk and she came to our room to check things out where she discovered the cable box had been unplugged. The outdoor pool looked nice, though we didn't take advantage of it, there were people in swimming. The room was clean, though the decor could be updated a little. The mattress slept okay, though it made noise when you changed positions, which was a little annoying. Might be time for new mattresses. The hot breakfast the next day was good and well-stocked, and quickly re-stocked when things got low. Would definitely stay here again if traveling through this area again.

I was on my way down to Kentucky for a trip and it got so late in the night, I had to pull over and find a hotel to stay in because I was not feeling good and had just driven for 8 hours from Chicago, with another 2 hours to go. Closest hotel to me was this Best Western. I went in and asked the front desk lady, Mary Trigg, if there were any rooms available for the night. She told me that they were booked up for some event taking place nearby. But instead of just turning me away, she took the next 15-20mins to help me find another hotel within range of where I was headed and told me pricings of those hotels. After some time and not the best luck finding a decent hotel, I thanked her, told her I was just going to rough it a bit and sleep in my car for the night. Before leaving I asked if I could use a bathroom. She said yes, directed me and I went and used the bathroom before heading out. When I exited the bathroom, she called me over and said to wait. She might have a room for me that someone had reserved but not put a card down and paid for. She called the customer who didn't answer. She called the owner of the hotel to see if she could release the room. And then to triple check, she called the other employees who initially took the call for the initial booking for the room. All signs pointed to Green. I then asked if she could do something about the room rate, because she initially quoted me $185-$200. Mary was awesome and got my room's total down to $117 with fees and taxes. She even gave me complimentary water bottles, as I had no water of my own. It was 100% worth it staying at that Best Western because the room was super clean, it was quiet and I got a full night's rest in a comfortable bed before starting out the next morning, freshly rested and showered. Mary Trigg went the extra mile for me and I will never forget that. She is an awesome human being and helped in ways I was not able to express to her. She deserves a raise and/or a promotion and should get employee of the month for helping me out the way she did. 10/10 would stay here again, just because of Mary Trigg.

The room was clean. They staff were phenomenal and congenial. We were there for a family reunion in town. First night there the employees had a barbecue by the pool. They do not have a fitness center, however guests have access to the local college fitness center which is wonderful.

This is by far the best BW we've ever been to & we stay at BW over half the year for work! The staff is phenomenal! They made our experience great! Every member of the staff, including the owner was fantastic & went above & beyond for us. We were there 6 nights & our whole trip was fabulous. They have excellent breakfast also! Thanks BW in Columbia for being so kind & treating our softball team with such gratitude!

Thank you to the owners and staff of the Best Western Columbia! In an area where good choices are scarce, this one really shines. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and spacious, and bed was comfortable. It's obvious that this establishment has had a lot of tender loving care. Located right off the Bluegrass Parkway. We'll be back.

This hotel is in town and situated with a spectacular view. Convenient- within walking distance to historic town center,grocery, restaurants (home cooking); easy access to laundromat, gas station, stores. Staff-Mary, Brenda and Kathy are cordial and helpful-a cut above hotel staff in more expensive hotels on my road trip), helping make my visit most informative and interesting. This hotel is clean, pleasant, quiet and extremely comfortable, so what was to be a 1-night stay became 3 nights. Learning about the area from staff, I visited Green River State Park (gorgeous nature center/ walks, picnic areas, serious hiking trails and only 19 easy miles out of town), and Wolf Creek Dam. To experience the genuine warmth of people in Kentucky and the beauty in this area, I am most heartily recommending a stay at this hotel.

Everyone at this location was great. They all were very helpful and polite. Brenda stood out to me. She created a magnificent breakfast and assisted in many ways during my family's stay. I'm looking for a reason to revisit this location in the future.

Comfortable rooms with an AMAZING staff!! The breakfast was great (and free) while the staff truly cares that I had a pleasant stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The pool wasn't open, but looked like it would be lovely, if it were.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Brenda was a very pleasant person to talk to and she made sure we had what we needed. Loved the breakfast, the gravy and biscuits were my favorite, but they also had bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles and so much more. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I know I would stay here again!

Everyone here is so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Brenda was phenomenal her breakfast was a pleasant surprise. After making it to enjoy the breakfast my second day at the hotel I couldn't wait for breakfast the next day. I would definitely stay here again.

They went out of their way to make sure we never ran out of food at 3:30 a.m. Great breakfast food too- bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit etc. The only con of our stay was the pool is outdoor so only functional for summer season.

So my High School Bass Fishing Team stayed here two weekends in a row and the hotel's GM, Dee, took excellent care of us. He called me multiple times to check on our travel plans, worked with me with providing my anglers breakfast at earlier times than normal, and even directed traffic when a semi-truck tried to navigate the parking lot filled with bass boats and trucks. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. My team and I will definitely stay here again next year!

The stay was exceptionally great the rooms were clean, breakfast was served, it was for full breakfast bacon-and-eggs it was great. I called ahead to confirm my room and it was it was ready. No problems!

Our stay has been awesome because of the awesome staff! Brenda was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We felt at home and welcomed. I've been in a lot of hotels and this one is the best. They opened their breakfast bar at 4 am to accommodate all of the high school anglers for the tournament. You just don't find that anymore. Great job! We will be back!

We have stayed at Best Western several times over the last 4 years. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. On this last stay, on learning that we were leaving before breakfast, the staff offered to prepare a Go-Bag for us.

Mary was very helpful at front deck and Brenda breakfasts was very good she takes pride in it and all of them was very friendly we had a wonderful stay . We will be back to stay there it is close to all kind of stores . Our daughter and family is moving 12 miles from there so I know we will be back

Very clean and nice hotel. Best continental breakfast I've ever had! Brenda is very proud of her breakfast and it shows. Mary at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Best hotel in the area. I would recommend replacing the mattresses and checking the window A/C units in the future.

Every time we stay in Columbia, the Best Western is where we stay. It is convenient to the Cumberland Parkway and also the Public Square if we have business to do. The staff treats us like we are family.

Room as expected for price. Hotel very average but adequate for my needs. Pet friendly and all employees were very nice. Breakfast was much better than expected. Especially impressed with Brenda our breakfast hostess and Mary at the check-out desk.

excellent hotel stay!! went to the area for LWC sporting event and was able to get a room last minute. the breakfast was the typical continental breakfast - food was good and hot! nice selection. the nightly price was great and their staff were all super friendly and efficient! room was very clean and no problems!! thank you for the nice stay!!!

Male employee was very rude when we went to breakfast. He made comments about our clothes and laughed. He also mocked us as we left. Although it was decently clean, it was not an enjoyable experience.

I believe if you stayed at any other hotels on your trip to Columbia, KY maybe you are mixing our hotel with the other(s). I would never be rude or do any of the things you stated. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Awesome hospitality. Plenty of parking and lots of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel can also handle large groups of travelers. Continental breakfast is free and EXCELLENT

Room was super clean and the staff there were really friendly. The breakfast was included and they put out a nice variety, eggs, bacon sausage, waffles, yogurt and a lot of fresh fruit. Coffee was better than average. Don't hesitate to stay here - nice hotel.

My husband and I came down to see his daughter at Lindsay Wilson College and had a great stay at Best Western. Brenda was so courteous and helpful with our Breakfast which was very good and hot and took the time to show me where different items were. Dee the Desk Mgr., gave us a great room and service and friendly conversation. Our room was clean, spacious and price was very reasonable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Brenda's breakfast was great! Rooms are comfortable. Every 3-4 months we stay and here and love all the staffs hospitality. The hot breakfast includes bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits and they have over 12 different cereals :).

Brenda makes the best breakfast every morning. The " bacon lady" but she also has waffles, sausage, eggs, potatoes, cereal and more. There is always hot and cold breakfast 7 days a week. Brenda is the best.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last few years. It has always been clean and you could not complain. the staff is always friendly and accommodating. unfortunately during my last visit the pool without water was worked there. unfortunately there was never any information.

This was a great hotel experience! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Brenda, the one who cooks breakfast, is so sweet and helpful! Might I add, the breakfast was amazing! The workers are some of the most genuine people and their kindness will be something I will always remember. It's such a nice feeling to know your spot in the hotel you're staying in and they made us feel like family!

We really enjoyed our stay! Mary at the front desk made checking in on the holiday so easy and worried free. Brenda who cooked an awesome breakfast every day always asked if there was anything more we needed. Brenda even gave us some cake that she made to take back with us. All the staff were so friendly and like us away from their families on the holiday made us feel a part of theirs! The room was perfect and so clean! I highly recommend the Best Western in Columbia Kentucky for their friendly staff, clean rooms and the small town feel your looking for.

Greeted by Mary, very sweet and helpful especially since we were exhausted after driving for 2 days straight through from NM. Room was very nice and clean.We ended up staying here for so far for 5 weeks still dealing with our house. The staff here is excellent and very nice. Brenda has been so helpful and makes a delicious breakfast! Dennis is very knowledgeable and has been very kind and helpful. Mary, Dennis, Brenda, Jerry, and Mr. Dee were all a ray of sunshine for us in this nightmare move for us. We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and Blaine atwood was very helpful when our microwave was messed up and he catered to our needs, the breakfast is great and the beds are very comfortable

After driving hours upon hours on a Elvis excursion, we decided to stop and stay in a little small town of Columbia Kentucky. As I arrived late at night. We needed to get right up to leave to make it back to Michigan, stopped to check out and get a bite to eat. We were greeted by 2 very pleasant hosts Brenda and Dennis. Brenda was so helpful she helped my mom with the waffles and even made them and melted butter. And also told us all about Cumberland falls. Dennis also helped us. He is a very nice young man! You have great employees! That made our morning my bright!! Thanks Best western

What made the trip for us beside the most comfortable King Bed, non-smoking room was the complimentary Breakfast served to us by Brenda. Brenda reminded me of a grandmotherly type lady whose sole purpose in life was to make you feel right at home during her time with you in the morning. Most hotels tell you they have a breakfast for you, but the added treat of Brenda, well, made you feel like it was her home. She waited on her customers - I've never had that happen when it was complimentary

This is really a nice place to stay. We booked a room with a hot tub that was good sized with the jets working well. The bed is comfortable and the room was really clean. The Wi-Fi works fast and it has a nice refrigerator, micro, television, etc.. The breakfast buffet is excellent with more choices than imaginable. Brenda does an excellent job fixing the eggs, biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, etc. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! I had "given up" on Best Western years ago because of a couple of bad experiences. Well the owner of this franchise and the quietness & cleanness of the room and the breakfast area changed my mind! Very nice place for the price!

The room was very clean quite and very comfortable. The breakfast prepared by Brenda was hott and tasty. I didnt want to leave. The pool was down but they offered another place for us to go and swim and work out. The owner was also very welcoming.

The staff at this hotel were very knowledgeable and caring. They deserve high praise for their affability and concern for guests. The hotel itself is a little older, but clean and quiet. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with several choices.

I was in town for my sister's wedding along with several other family members. We all enjoyed our rooms (they were clean and updated). The employees were all so helpful and nice. Brenda was a delight during our breakfast and made sure everyone was satisfied before leaving. Dennis was calm and understanding when we "lost" our wallet (it was just hiding on us) and the owner Dee was welcoming and so nice whenever we had questions. It was a great stay. We will be back for sure.

Ive stayed many places, best breakfast buffet Ever! Thanks Brenda! Large assortment. Pool was being repaired, disappointing. The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Room had smell at 1st AC helped remove it. It was a nice stay.

The rooms were nice and clean. Brenda that worked the breakfast was so nice and helpful and very very friendly. I was traveling with my elderly dad and she was so helpful and accommodating! I was also disappointed that the pool was closed. But overall I would stay again.

Stayed here one night before going to Cumberland, State Dock. Excellent location, just off highway. Nice clean rooms. Great Staff. Brenda does an excellent job with the breakfast. Very good with a good variety.

It is an outside door motel, not an inside door hotel. Staff were courteous. Hotel was obviously old, but had been renovated recently. Great breakfast, with good selections (limited seating areas). Not a bad place, just a little overpriced for what you got.

Thank for your review. We raise our rates due to the 127 yard sale, if you can make reservations early the rate will not go up as much, and our cancellation policy is 3pm the day of arrival.

We were traveling with our dog and this motes is perfect. The room is ver spacious, and clean. THe breakfast was really tasty, with eggs, waffles, fruit, toast, bagels, bacon, and sausage, everything you could want. I would have given it a 5 star if the pool was not under repairs. It was very hot and humit the weekend we were there and the pool would have been nice. A person wonders why the repairs were not made when it was not summer vacation season? And during the 127 Yardsales. Also there is no guest laundry, but that isn't a deal breaker, just FYI.

Clean rooms, convenient location, no traffic noise. All the staff we encountered be were very pleasant and helpful. Dennis at the front desk was very welcoming and easy to work with; and, Brenda and her breakfast buffet we're amazing.

I had been feeling under the weather when I checked in at this Best Western for a wedding and the staff here was so sympathetic to me. Mary the manager was so nice and told me where I could go to buy medicine and every morning when I came into the lobby for breakfast she asked how I was feeling. So sweet! Also the continental breakfast here was amazing!

Very clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was unbelievably great. Thanks for the chocolate chips and waffles Brenda! We appreciated the great experience and your professionalism! We will definitely be back.

After a long driving day, this Best Western was a welcome find in the rolling Kentucky hills. The hotel grounds were inviting. The staff was genial. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample. All in all, a satisfying experience. Be aware that the Time Zone boundary wiggles around in this part of Kentucky. If you're driving north, as I was, it's possible to be in and out of Eastern and Central Time without realizing it.

Brenda made the best breakfast ever I. The mornings and Dennis was more then helpful. Will be staying here again. The rooms where nice and clea. And all round great hotel. Close to several wedding barns and ya k I am just typing all this now to talk up space thanks it had to be so long so there we go

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet. The attendant in the dining area, Brenda, really did her job well and was very pleasant. The desk clerk was also friendly and helpful. I would stay her again.

My wife and I spent 6 days here on vacation and loved it. Our room was always well cleaned and very comfortable. What stood out above the rest was the amazing breakfast that Brenda made available. It was the best breakfast that we've ever seen in all the motels we've stayed at. The variety, taste, and abundance simply can't be beat. We will definitely stay here on future visits to this area.

It was a good stay but the pool was not open and it was in the first part of July so that would have been nice to be able to swim but the breakfast was good. The host Blaine Atwood was very courteous and helpful with anything I needed.

We were happy to find this clean hotel but we really appreciated how attentive Dennis and Brenda were,keeping a vigilant eye on customer's needs @ bfast and beyond. Actually everyone I talked to before we arrived exhibited top notch hospitality skills, as well. Dennis deserves recognition for his uncommon level of professionalism. Nice to see well trained people who clearly have a future in the hotel industry! Nice job on your hires, BW Columbia!

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The rooms were well taken care of and well stocked The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Brenda's breakfast spread had a vast variety to choose from and was very delicious.

The best part of our stay was the staff. Mary, at the front desk, was especially helpful and courteous. She always had a smile on her face. We had a problem in our room and she took care if it right away.

Room and Breakfast were fine. Was very disappointed to arrive and find pool and spa gone. They should not advertise those amenities if they are not available. Other than that no complaints by any in our party.

We stayed for several days and loved it. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast is better than most restaurants!! Delicious!!! Thank you, Brenda! The staff was friendly. Quiet location, conveniently near a little gas station/convenience store. The room was comfortable and clean. Absolutely no compaints. AAAA++++

Nice people. Excellent customer service, Brenda does a great job at the hotel. Breakfast was great. We were there on Mothers Day and everything in the area was closed but we had a great free breakfast at the hotel with our family.

We stayed here instead of in Somerset. It was SO MUCH better!! Quieter, and the people were lovely! BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS!! It was SO fresh and Brenda did an great job keeping it full and ready for everyone. The eating area was so clean and there were SO many choices for breakfast! Can't say enough good things about it!!!

We have stayed here on a number of occasions visiting family over the last few years. We are always pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the facility - and this stay the staff seemed particularly helpful, welcoming and attentive. Dennis warmly welcomed us as we arrived and Mary took care of our needs at breakfast and checkout. It's nice having fruit and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is right off the interstate and very close to Lindsay Wilson College and Downtown. The breakfast gets better every time we go with a nice selection of hot and cold and sweet and salty options. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, gravy and waffles were ALL on the menu and quite tasty. Along with a variety of toppings to put in your oatmeal. A very nice casual and quick hot breakfast. All in all, a great place to stay on a visit to Columbia!

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel for three days. First thing I noticed is there were at least four different hairs in the bathtub. This always grossed me out, but I rinsed the tub down. The room was nice and big, and the bed was comfortable. The real problem was the fact that the outdoor pool and hot tub were not functioning and actually under construction. We weren't told this before we made the 5 hour trip down. Very disappointing. We also didn't see an elevator so be sure to ask for a downstairs room if you have mobility issues like I do. Overall I give it a 3 because the staff were super helpful. The breakfast room is tiny tiny. The worst part: I am six feet tall and the shower head was too short, like always.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Hospitality was an A+. Brenda welcomed us every morning for a great breakfast. The owner was a kind man who is obviously putting his money back into the hotel. Thank you Brenda!

Great location right off the parkway. Great staff especially Brenda at breakfast, I had a very late arrival and check in was a breeze. Building and rooms are dated with older carpet furniture and mattress but very clean. The pool was under repair so I was disappointed to find out I couldn't enjoy a relaxing dip.

Staff was great all around. Location was as close as it gets for my work. Room was spacious and clean. I wish they had USB ports to charge electronics rather than outlets only. The sheets were low quality. Low thread count. Felt like sleeping and sandpaper. Pool is being worked on so check with desk on availability. Breakfast rivaled that of chain hotels. Breakfast lady was great! But, area only seats 10 or so.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The rooms are clean and the staff ist just amazing. Miss Brenda makes sure you got everything you need, she is just plain amazing and such a sweetheart. Mr. Dee is also amazing, super friendly and if you want to know where to go and what to do, or where to eat, he is your man! We definitely would love to come back one day.

We were looking for a pet friendly location that was located near the college. Dee greeted us and everyone showed genuine interest in our stay and in our black Labrador. The rooms were very clean, Everything worked in our room. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot were all at the ready and were used. The next morning we went to the front lobby to check out the breakfast and were impressed that we were early [5:30am] and everything was ready, fresh and the breakfast bar had many extra's not normally found in other hotels in our travels. What topped off our breakfast visit was a lady named Mary that greeted us and took time to visit and make our morning experience at the breakfast area one that we will definitely come back and stay again and again. BTW, Dee, don't change the coffee, it was better than what I make at home, Hot and not bitter and had great flavor Good place to stay while in this area and quiet Thanks again to Mary and Dee.

The rooms and lobby have been recently renovated and remodeled. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. They have pet friendly rooms but you need to let them know in advance so you are assigned the correct room. Very nice breakfast with attentive staff. Easy to use internet wifi system.

Been to many hotels and Best Western , breakfast by far here is the BEST in the Nation! Brenda is great! They have scambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, and even red skin potatoes! I will only be staying here again!

Great Hotel and price for the area and could not have had friendly staff. Brenda and Dennis help make the stay there feel like you were home or at a friends place. The free breakfast was better than most places you would pay for. The dinning area was a little small but they made the most of it. I would definitely recommend staying here if you plan on taking a trip anywhere near Columbia or Campbellsville, KY area.

I was apprehensive about staying at a Best Western but this hotel has me even considering staying at others. The staff were fantastic and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Not to mention the excellent internet speed.

Everyone is always so respectful and friendly and willing to help. We sleep well every time we visit. The breakfast room is a little small and can quickly fill up, but it is easy to take breakfast back to the room, too.

Nice, clean, and well-kept rooms. Larger rooms than average. The three front staff personnel we had interactions with were pleasant and went out of their way to assist with a few inquiries we made. The breakfast selection was set out well and had everything you could think of, all very nicely prepared. And delicious too! Very, very nice! We shall return!

Good hotel, smells good, looks good, soft bed, and Dennis up front is the best....he's a hard worker too!!!he has been hand scrubbing the pool by himself fer two days and he is making serious head way and still tending to guests on top of that....keep it up Dennis!!!

Dennis at the front desk was awesome when we checked in...couple of issues with some rooms and he handled everything so professionally. Brenda fixed a great breakfast for all who chose to enjoy the complimentary breakfast! The entire staff we had the pleasure to interact with was very helpful and friendly! Blaine Atwood helped me tremendously and was a very polite person. He didn't just help me but he helped get about 3 different collegiate sports teams in with no hassle and not to mention that these rooms are nice as heck. Give this guy a raise

Normal expectation for room, very clean. The location of the hotel is nice if needing a quick bite to eat. The staff here is really nice and service is superb. Blaine Atwood was very helpful and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible.

After having a bad experience at a previous hotel we stopped at the Best Western in Columbia ky. We loved it there. Front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was the best by far. Brenda at breakfast made my sons waffle for him! Love this place. We will definitely be staying there again

The absolute friendliest staff I have interacted with in a long time, from the reservation clerk, to the breakfast server, to the front desk manager. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. The selection was outstanding, the quality was excellent, and the taste was amazing.

Stayed here with a college softball team. Room was clean and shower had good water pressure! Brenda had a great breakfast..eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and all the other usual stuff. She e an fixed waffles ahead of time for the rush of softball girls coming in at one time! Mr. D was friendly as well. Highly recommend this place!!

Room was very comfortable. At breakfast Brenda wasn't shy about letting me know what she had. Great food, red velvet batter for waffles, biscuits and gravy, extras toppings for eggs. Great food, great people!

Miss Brendas' breakfast spread and hospitality was superb. Second visit here and thoroughly enjoyed everything. She was very accommodating with anything needed. Constantly making sure everyone was satisfied and comfortable. I really enjoyed the genuine hospitality and kindness.

The rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The breakfast was great! We were expecting the typical continental breakfast. As we were walking to breakfast and couple of buses with high school wrestlers were leaving. We were expecting breakfast to be wiped out, but Brenda had it fully restocked by the time we got in there. She checked in with us to make sure there wasn't anything we needed and that every thing tasted alright. She really seemed like she cared and that made it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy! yum!

Our room was clean and comfortable - but nothing exceptional. What WAS exceptional was the customer service of the staff. We arrived late last night and our TV was not connecting to the cable box. The gentleman at the front desk came immediately to fix it for us. In the morning, the lady who prepared breakfast, Brenda, was an absolute delight. The breakfast was good and Brenda even took the extra step to cook our waffles for us. She and the front desk staff also looked up some places we could explore while in this area and just went the extra mile to accommodate us. They were all super friendly and personable. We'll definitely return to this hotel the next time we're in this area.

We were here for one night in September. I've waited a long time to do the review as I wanted to make sure we didn't bring anything from our stay home with us. We discovered two bed bugs in our room around 9:30 pm as we were getting ready for bed. My sister got bit twice as she was sitting under the covers in her bed, reading. She caught one of the bugs and put it in a plastic bag. She looked it up on the internet to confirm that it was in fact a bed bug. (We had done the usual check underneath the mattresses at check in and found nothing. The sheets, mattress pad and coverings were all clean.) When we called the front desk about our discovery, they were very accommodating and put us in another room -- they helped us move all our stuff and did not charge us for the room. (We were not familiar with the area and decided it was too late to find another hotel.) The night manager told us they had not had a bed bug incident for years. For the remaining 9 days of our vacation, we had no other discoveries and since returning home, thankfully nothing has been found in our luggage or clothing. I'm guessing this was an isolated incident and am happy our bug encounter was limited to that one night.

Clean hotel with amazing service for breakfast. Brenda was SO SO accommodating and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed for a warm and comfortable breakfast. She works the breakfast area and treated not only me but every customer eating like family. Simply wonderful!

My fiancé and I came for her residency at Lindsey Wilson, stayed for 3 nights after driving from NC and the customer service was stellar. Dee and Brenda were especially welcoming and I cannot think of a negative thing to say about our experience. Thanks again!

We stayed in a pet friendly room with 2 queen beds. BW's 800 # had advised that we were booked into a pet friendly room, with a king sized bed. When we arrived, motel personnel advised that they have only pet friendly, queen rooms.Because of The error in booking, they waived their pet fee. The room we were assigned was warm and cozy, with good mattresses. The mattresses had zippered covers and all linens were pristine and appeared recently out of the laundry. The room was not fancy,but was clean, well kept, with all fixtures fully functional. It had problem free plumbing, with lots of hot water for a long relaxing shower. This motel is a truly good value for the traveler that values cleanliness, service and comfort.

I travel to 32 states for work and I have never sent in a review. This being my first review means that I was so impressed with this motel. From the check in with Dennis to the morning breakfast that Brenda had ready for me the morning of check out. I got a great nights sleep and did not have to deal with any issues. Great place to stay the night.

The room was spotless and quiet. My wife works nights and sleeps days and it was perfect. The best thing about it was the customer service. Miss Brenda keeps FIVE STAR food ready for breakfast. Real sausage and bacon, not fake microwave food. A big selection of bagels, breakfast muffins, juices, waffles, fruit. If it isn't served here it probably isn't good for you. Do not pass this place up!

The heating system could not heat up the room due to the extreme cold weather they were having Brenda in the dining room was very helpful, friendly and on top of making sure everyone had a hot breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.

It was my first trip to the USA and I "landed" in the Best Western Hotel in Columbia: I was very astonished about the very clean rooms, always friendly and helpful personal, great breakfast (therefore a lot of thanks to Brenda !!) and all the service around. Thank you to Mr. Dee (Manager) , his wife and his great team for this big experience i had !!!

Very friendly, helpful staff. They made you feel like a valued customer and part of the family. Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good with a mix of hot and cold food choices. Close to town (walkable) and other sightseeing/recreational areas.

I was very surprised with how good the service was and how clean the rooms were! Thanks to Brenda and the others on the cleaning staff. Dee (awesome manager), Dennis and everyone working at the front desk also excelled at customer service. They were always friendly and willing to help. I thank them for the pleasant stay! Will definitely be staying there again.

I was in town to visit family close by and knew of this motel. Met the owner day of arrival and he was always in the office or you could see him walking the property checking on things. On arrival I was registered by a very polite young man Dennis, asked if I need help with luggage and later he came to room to fix TV for me, very helpful with this. Also met a very nice lady Brenda, who does the breakfast and cleans the rooms. First morning, the owner and Brenda help me with breakfast owner got my waffles of maker onto plate and carried to table and got the syrup and butter for me. They both told me all sorts of interesting things about how to make waffles with chocolate chips. There was ham, cheese, bacon to add to the eggs. Different things to add to yogurt. Biscuits and gravy and sausage patties. Everything was clean and tidy. My room was very nice and clean, enough the mirrors all the way to the top, where most are not. Room was a smoking room by request by didn't smell like a smoking room even after turning on the heater. Sheets on the bed even smelled fresh like they just came out of laundry, towels too. I check-out but later that day I called to reserve room again as plans changed, spoke to Dennis again he was very polite. On check-out, Brenda fixed me up a little goodie bag with oranges and apples for my trip home.

I can't speak highly enough about my most recent visit to this Best Western. From the moment I made my reservation, I felt that the staff genuinely cared about making a good impression. They were all very warm and hospitable. Dennis, specifically, is an absolute "ALL STAR". He treated me like a VIP from the moment I stepped up to the counter. Check this out; before I arrived, he turned the lights on in my room, the heat was turned on as well, and he left a nice note that made my day! But, that's not all, he even brought hot chocolate to my room for my daughter and I. Talk about service with a smile! When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I was booking this room because I was graduating and wanted to be closer to my school. I'm not sure if this is the reason why I received this treatment or not but what I will tell you is that Dennis was FIRST CLASS and I appreciated every moment of my special treatment! Anyone looking for a top-notch hotel while staying in Columbia, KY or specifically visiting Lindsey Wilson College, check Best Western-Columbia, KY out (even had Lindsey Wilson discount). Great bargain - excellent stay!

Admittedly, I don't stay at many BW's....but this was very centrally located so I decided to give it a try. The outside made me think I wouldn't really enjoy the place...but the room was spacious and clean. The towels were decent. My only complaint about the room was the pillows were tiny. I didn't eat much for breakfast, but I liked the number of options that were available. I would recommend the place if someone was looking in the area, or needed a quick stop along the Cumberland Parkway.

We was in town looking at property the receptionist Jenna was a great help and very friendly the rooms are very clean and the breakfast was amazing very clean dinning area and fresh food I would highly recommend staying here to anyone!!!

We have been to this location on 2 separate occasions. Not only have the rooms been clean, but the breakfast is spectacular. We especially LOVE Mrs. Brenda. She is so caring and makes you feel like family far away from home. She took such great care of me and my mom. We were there for a football game for my son's college both times. Anything we needed she took care of us. Even on the ride home she bagged us up some goodies. I was not too fond of the 700 mile drive, but after checking in, this woman made our trip the BEST ever.

This was a surprisingly nice hotel in a small town. I started the night with some friends for a powerlifting meet and we had a good time. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great. Waffle maker was especially awesome.

Close to Lindsey Wilson for sons games. Clean, friendly, comfortable, and good location. A little pricey but not much competition so expected. Will defiantly stay again. We have 3 more years of football

Nice large, clean rooms! All rooms have fridge and microwave! The breakfast was good! Brenda was very sweet and kept all the items well stocked and fresh!! We always enjoy staying here when we visit Lindsey Wilson campus!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have great experiences each time. This visit was no different. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and fresh. Everything in the rooms works well. It is a motel style - with outside entrances (and no elevator to 2nd floor). The outside stairs can be slick in extreme weather. The complimentary breakfast is the usual good breakfast, and the breakfast nook is comfortable, though very small.

Amazing value! Cleanest hotel room, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff!! Upgraded to king Jacuzzi suite... So well worth it! Thank you, Brenda, for the delicious breakfast and courteous manner. This is the place to stay in the Columbia KY area!!

Had a great experience at this hotel. while traveling to Tn. we stayed with Best Western in Columbia, KY. the hotel manager Dee was helpful and friendly. Brenda the housekeeping manager was very sweet and serviced my elderly grandparents breakfast! the rooms seemed updated and clean. cant say enough to emphasize how we were impressed with this hotel!

The staff was exceptional, the rooms were clean. Overall this is an excellent place to stay. The morning breakfast was exceptional. I was extremely pleased with the stay and staff. We received excellent advice of places to eat in the area. The staff went out of their way to provide us with a power source to re-charge our batteries on our boat. Excellent place! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I found this Best Western Hotel very clean, with great amenities and easy Truck parking & access. They also have a great hot breakfast that Brenda had cooked and prepared ! Our room was great, the Breakfast was very good, set up by Brenda, and the front desk people represented by Jenna were very nice and helpful. We stayed on a Friday Night and we didn't hear a peep, and got rest which we needed. The management team obviously has some very good employees!

The breakfast was my only complaint. No room to eat. Food crowded together. Didn't know they had a pool until we left. Ok place to spend the night room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Was a little pricey for the amenities also . Check in was smooth didn't have a reservation so may have gotten better price if I had one,

We spent 5 days in the Columbia area and are enjoying every moment. The best thing about running around all day is coming back to the hotel at night to a nice, clean, comfortable room. We start each day with a wonderful breakfast prepared by Brenda. She fixes an awesome breakfast with many choices. If you don't get full at this breakfast bar it is your own fault. Jenna at the front desk is one of the most pleasant and helpful individuals you will ever meet. And not to forget the hotel manager Dee what a great guy. We had a free day and he told us of a place to go and we had a wonderful time.

Clean, comfortable room.the highlight is the breakfast though..biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, potatoes and more. Friendly staff and a nicely furnished large room. Convenient location to town.

Very professional and friendly staff. Very responsive to our needs. The room was clean and all of the amenitites were in good working order. The hotel offered a breakfast which was very good, and offered any choice you could want.

The room was clean and the breakfast area was outstanding. The choice of items to eat were numerous. Brenda was excellent when we ate breakfast. She was friendly maintained a well stocked breakfast area and made sure my family was taken care of. The pool was clean. Finding the hotel was not an issue. I would recommend this Best Western to the anyone visiting Columbia Ky.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Columbia KY for the eclipse. Everyone there was so nice. The person at the front desk, the people who setup and managed the breakfast, every single person was the best. I don't know if I've ever received better service at an affordable hotel. The hotel was is very good condition and everything was clean. The room was nice and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was awesome too. All of the usual continental breakfast items plus a waffle maker with both regular batter and strawberry batter. We loved it. Will stay there next time in the area.

not bad for the price. close to many restaurants and interstate. Good breakfast ,but small dining area. staff very friendly and helpful. Will be staying there again when I am back in the area. Beds aren't the best but will do for a few nights here and there.

Nice, clean, unobtrusive, well kept room, with good ( zip-on covered), mattresses. This motel has one of the best motel breakfast bars I've experienced. Reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were in a pet friendly room, as we were accompanied by our 7 pound yorkie. There were no detectable signs, odors or pet hair, from other pets having stayed in our room. * We will stay here again when in the area.

Best Western in Columbia has been by far one of the best places I've stayed! We needed the room quickly and the manager Dee had no problem getting us in. He took the time to get our room ready quickly and he was very hospitable to all guests I saw him come in contact with. Hospitality was a 10! Jennifer and Dennis who cleaned our room for us quickly still took great care to make sure our room was a 10+! The room was so clean I had to call management and find out who took such great pride in their work! We got awesome service and hospitality in this town! Thanks for making a bad day into a great one. We almost forgot our car was broke down thanks to you all! Great job. If I could give you ten stars I would!

My stay was okay after experiencing roaches and Flies in the room. I found myself having to fight flies and kill roaches which I find to be very unsanitary. If they would correct those problems the stay would have been good.

Checking at the front desk after a hot long drive it was nice to see the warm smile of Brenda. She efficiently checked us into to a room with great air conditioning and ground level; I only had to pull up to the door and without fuss and bother, move in our bags. The next morning housekeeping Jennifer Dotson took the extra step make sure our room had everything we needed and also pointed out were the ice machine and the pool were located. Her friendly personality made our family feel relaxed and welcomed - as if we were family. She represents everything Best Western wants in an employee. There were many other here at the BW who are doing their best to make you stay comfortable: Brittany, Jenna Chrysler and of course Jennifer. Oh, if you are pulling a trailer there is room to park. The rooms are clean and nice restaurants nearby.

We had a fantastic time enjoying family and enjoying our room. Staff was great and I slept almost as if I was at home. I have never seen such a variety of food on the breakfast. I really enjoyed the bacon sausage and biscuits. There was so much there that I had a hard time deciding what to eat. Overall I had a great day and would recommend it to everyone.

Friendly people that go out of their way to help you have a great stay. Great breakfast choices. Always helpful. We always stay here every time coming to Columbia ky to visit our kids at college. Thanks!

We love staying at Best Western Columbia when we go boating at Jamestown, Lake Cumberland! They always have parking for the truck and boat! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean! Brenda makes the best breakfasts to get the day started!

We arrived and the hotel was average. We were on the lower level in the back area. We immediately realized that our non smoking room was starting to smell like cigarette smoke when another guest went outside to smoke. We mentioned it to the front desk. They did offer to change our room, which we refused because we were tired.. so not their fault. The next several hours proved to be that that choice was a mistake. Apparently the guest who smoked felt like it was necessary to slam his door going in and out to smoke, which (no lie) was every 20 minutes.. Again, not the hotel's fault but just wanted to mention. The breakfast was great. Average food but always being refilled and "Brenda" immediately refilled anything the second it was empty. I mentioned that a guest had spilled some OJ and she was on it as quick as anything. Then when we left she asked if there was anything she could do for us (I did mention the slamming door issue to the front desk and she was kind enough to take off a few dollars). I asked Brenda for some water to go. We had been talking to the lady at the desk about the inconsiderate guest and I totally forgot about the water. Brenda literally chased me down to find me as we were leaving to give me my ice water. THAT is dedication and SHE is awesome!!!

We have stayed at the Best Western, Columbia KENTUCKY on two occasions and plan to stay here whenever we are in this area of KY. Each time the staff were pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The hotel is impeccably clean inside and out and the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've had in our stays at various hotels. We highly recommend this Best Western.

The owner and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter, myself and my handicap grandson. I had booked with another motel in the city but on our arrival after a 12 1/2 hour drive and requesting a handicap room the other motel Sleep Inn tried to put us in a room in which the shower was enclosed by glass. My grandson would not have been able to transfer safely. Yet they continued to insist it was a handicap room. My daughter called the Best Western and not only did they accommodate us they adjusted our rate to beat Sleep Inn. I can not say enough about how wonderful the service at the Best Western was. Mant thanks to Dee and his staff!!

Very pleased with this hotel! Pros: Clean, modern decor rooms, very nice continental breakfast (good assortment), polite/courteous staff Cons: Outdoor access doors, dirty pool/nonfunctional jacuzzi Would absolutely stay here again. Extra thanks to Brenda for running a wonderful continental breakfast and keeping the area clean.

I stay there on a weekly basis.Rooms are very clean.Building is maintained very well.The staff I have met are kind & very helpful.Jenna at the front desk is friendly,helpful & always takes care of my reservations without problems.Jenna is also always quickly correcting or resolving any issues that there might be.Great place to stay.

Stayed here while in town for my son's soccer camp @ near by Lindsey Wilson College. We were surprised to find a welcoming front desk staff, nice clean rooms, great pool facility, and refreshing complimentary free breakfast display. My son and teammates are average (sometimes) loud teenagers. No complaints or telephone warnings for noise control. Highly recommend this hotel, if in the area. There is a Sonic Restaurant within walking distance, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and McDonalds are close by as well.

For a family that usually stays at 4+Star hotels, we were pleasantly surprised. This part of the country does not have the type of the hotels we are accustomed to staying. This exceeded our expectations for a motel in the middle of a small town in Kentucky! This a small quaint motel that has done a lot to keep it clean and remodeled. Small area to eat breakfast, but they did a great job making sure the customer is pleased with the food! Highly recommend if you are in this area!

Room was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. The free breakfast was tasty and refreshed regularly. The biggest problem was that the key cards kept failing to work and we had to get them reprogrammed after two or three uses. Would stay there again.

This is a very sorry excuse for a motel, in a town that is equally down on its luck (apparently). Our "non-smoking" room positively reeked of cigarette smoke--we ended up buying air fresheners at the drug store. There was a Jacuzzi tub, placed in the living space of the room (not in the bath area). For some reason this tub was fitted out with a kitchen sink faucet, resulting in fill time of over an hour. This place was just hideous. The room wasn't expensive, but it was just barely inhabitable...

Staff, including Dee the manager, are always helpful and friendly, clean rooms, great hot breakfast with plenty of variety. Convenient location. We have stayed here many times over the past fifteen years and have never been disappointed.

The hotel is one of the nicest and great friendly people. They were very helpful in helping us find what ever we needed. like a good place to eat or shop. The breakfast is one of the best we have had at a hotel. We will stay there every time we go to Columbia KY. Claudette

Never again will I stay here. On a trip with my son as we visit Lindsey Wilson College. The room was dirty, shaved hair around the bathroom sink and later that night my son found blonde hair in the bed....The carpet had an order and needed a good vacuuming as well. The wrong definitely did not worth the money that I payed. I'm so disappointed with Best Western as I have stayed at nicer locations for less the money.

While traveling through Kentucky on motorcycles, we stayed at this Best Western right off the Cumberland Parkway. No pool, but a comfortable room and great breakfast. We could park our bikes right by our room door. Staff was courteous and friendly. Jennie, our check in person was helpful to our needs. And Brenda attended to us for breakfast. In a few words: all was good.

Great customer service and budget friendly rates! Rooms were clean, no odd smells from the air system and more importantly NO BUGS! The complimentary breakfast was well prepared and tasty. Cannot offer opinions on the pool area because we were to busy to check it out. Thank you for an enjoyable visit!

From the beginning Dee (the owner) was very helpful regarding our reservations through the duration of our 2 week stay. House keeping was prompt and friendly Brenda and Dennis took great care of us. At Breakfast Brenda always made sure we had the food we wanted to eat out as well as asked for our opinion on any possible improvements that could be made. This hotel was very enjoyable and we felt at home. If I ever need to stay at a hotel in Columbia, KY we'd definitely come back here.

1st class as always with BW properties. The room was large with normal services . The location was good without road noises. Good eating was close. Local restaurants are not available in Columbia so eating is at quick-stops.

This hotel is one that is consistently clean, friendly and always has great internet and breakfast. I have to work out of town frequently and stay here every chance I get. It is probably one of the best hotels on my route and I always look forward to being taken care of with no issues or problems. The internet is fast, the rooms are perfect temperature and very clean. The food is amazing and the staff is really helpful and friendly. You cannot go wrong staying at this excellent hotel.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Mammoth Cave. It is a nice hotel for a small town. The only complaint I have is that the town does not offer much in dining experiences although the breakfast at the hotel was excellent.

stayed here for 1 night. front desk was helpful. booked at aaa rate. lobby was ok. rooms have outside doors which i like less than indoor corridors. a:c worked, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, shower was tricky to start but once we figured it out the shower head was very nice. microwave and refrige in room both worked. used them. would recommend.

Everything from the beginning to the end was spectacular! Brenda is great at her job & very personable. She was a great help. Our room was fresh & clean. Anything and everything we needed was readily available, including directions to the best places to eat!

Good hotel and good price. We stay here often and enjoy it each time. The staff is friendly and helpful, good breakfast and quiet rooms. The sheets are soft and the remodeled rooms are fantastic. Would suggest they need to buy new shower heads but other than that we could find nothing to complain about. They recommended a local Mexican restaurant that was good. Don't hesitate to stay here.

We stay frequently at the Best Western Columbia. The rooms are always clean and well-provisioned. The staff is helpful and friendly. Brenda did a remarkable job fixing breakfast and cleaning our room. The included breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. The rooms have been recently renovated and each room has a microwave oven, fridge, and flat-screen TV with cable. The hotel has WIFI internet although we use our own MIFI when we travel. We've always had a good experience at this hotel.

A very nice hotel with clear rooms, comfortable beds, a warm and welcoming staff and very good breakfast! Great location right off the interstate and very close to Lindsey Wilson College. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend!

I will always stay at the Best Western. The facilities were exceptional and the staff was AMAZING. Brenda made sure the breakfast was great and our room kept clean. Anything I needed help with - they were there to save the day. The manager Dee even made sure our room was warm by the time we got our things from the truck! It had gotten chilly in Columbia and we are from a state that is usually hot so we were not use to the cold! I will recommend this hotel to anyone!

Easy outside entrance which most people don't seem to appreciate anymore. The hotel staff is beyond first rate! If you need something, they will go above and beyond to try to help you! Everyone here is truly interested in making your stay the best it can be! If you like a real honest to goodness good breakfast, they have one of the best hot breakfasts you will find anywhere.

I travel a lot for business and I've stay in quite a few Best Westerns. This location is the top 5 best hotel I've stayed in. The boss, Mr. Dee makes you feel like his biggest concern is the customer's well being. That's a big plus when one else is staying long term. The free breakfast almost feels like I should be paying. Brenda is the cook there and she makes some delicious potatoes. I've never seen anything look old or empty. The housekeeping does not bother me when my 'Do Not Disturb' sign is up. Dennis cleaned my room and showed attention to detail and well as swiftness. I really enjoy staying and would pick Best Western over Sleep Inn everytime. Thanks guys!

Pet friendly. Our room was on 1st floor with an outside door and very easy to walk the dog. The room was very comfortable. Two nice chairs to sit and watch tv and read. Did not have to sit on bed..... The staff was very helpful. I did mention a couple of things that would inprove the stay. Thermostat and high rise toliet. I think all rooms should have those two items. Breakfast was very good with a good selection. Brenda did a great job. Dee was very helpful on arrival and check out.

Attended for an annual conference. I try to stay at this hotel each time. I find it very clean and pleasant. It has a friendly staff, breakfast and is a good value. It is close to my event and makes for an easy commute.

I Stayed at the BW for a softball game at Lindsey Wilson. It was a wonderful environment and I even brought my two pups. The room was perfect for them and neat. The only issue I had was the knob in the shower broke while I was in there and water started spraying everywhere. But the maintence people were quick to respond and turn it off and gave me another room. They were so nice and friendly.

I found the hotel to be nice and clean.The rooms were clean also,nice breakfast.Jenna is fantastic,knowladgable and helpful.All the staff I've met are kind and professional.I stay weekly for business and they always have a room ready and quick to check me in.

It stated that they had a full breakfast and I was skeptical but the breakfast that Brenda cooked was very good and had everything I was total surprised. The staff at check out Jenna was polite and very helpful the entire staff was dedicated to make your stay a pleasant one and they did

Our room was spotlessly clean with plenty of space, refrigerator, microwave, desk with office chair and a comfy easy chair with ottoman. The beds were comfortable and linens first quality. Breakfast included bacon, eggs, gravy, yogurt, cereal, juices, and was hot and tasty. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here in the future.

I'm in hotels at least three days a week and the Columbia Best Western is a regular stop. Same room quality and cleanliness as a Hampton or better. Brenda, Annie and the Manager Dee are always friendly and helpful and the breakfast is outstanding.

Very clean and the staff is always very nice. They have the best breakfast and we travel several time a month, so when we are in the area we always stay here. Jacob does a great job with setting breakfast!!

I stayed overnight as part of a large group. The hotel is very clean, the staff very helpful and the Sunday morning breakfast was the best of any hotel I have stayed (thanks Brenda). The hotel is managed very well.

I am a business traveler who uses hotels about 100 nights a year. I recently stayed at the Best Western in Columbia, Ky. The hotel has made many renovations since my last stay in 2014. I was impressed with the upgrades but more impressed with the accommodating approach of the hotel staff. The gentlemen that set up the breakfast each morning , Jacob, did an excellent job. The front desk attendant, Annie, was very helpful in getting me into the Best Western rewards program. The breakfast was the best that I have had in any hotel. Thanks to the cook, Brenda. Lastly, I appreciate the hotel manager, Dee, understanding the needs of a business traveler. I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler.

This hotel provides a good clean night stay in a great location. It is a good hotel for a family vacation or over night stay. My family and I always stay here while visiting Lindsey Wilson College or attending the college football game.

Brenda made the full hot breakfast. It was excellent. The potatoes were very tasty and biscuits and gravy were some of the best we ever had. She went out of her way to be very friendly and made sure she kept the breakfast bar filled with food a-plenty. There was a variety of fruit and yogurt as well along with many more items.

We stayed in this hotel while staying in Columbia for a baseball tournament. The Staff was excellent and the hotel was a good value. It was really close to the college and all the eating places. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here 2 weekends in a row in 2 different rooms and it was nice both times. The room and the bathroom was nice and clean. It looked liked they had done some remodeling. It's located to 3 different fastfood places, one is within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were a family of 12. Our rooms were very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We have looked for somewhere to stay for a few years. Our family reunion is in September every year. We rented 4 rooms this year, next year there will be more of the family staying here.

We called about midnight asking if there was a room left. They had 1 room and were very friendly. We have a daughter in college at Lindsey Wilson and need somewhere to stay. It is pet friendly and they have breakfast! Next time I will book with them!!

Excellent service and a great place to sleep. The staff at Best Western really do value their customers as they go out of their way to ensure that everything is in place. I have been staying at this hotel for years (over nine years), and it has changed managers/owners and I must say that it has taken a turn for the better. The decor in the lobby is beautiful; the furniture and decor in the rooms have improved the look and feel of the rooms. It makes me feel as if I am at home. The complementary breakfast is very good. I can count on the staff to provide me with an instant receipt for my work for reimbursement when needed. The staff is accommodating in order to make my stay well worth my time.

I have never felt more at home or better satisfied by the staff and service, rooms always clean and everything is a property for the staff. Breakfast is always quick and easy. Rooms are clean and the friendly staff is why we will always stay at the Best Western.

We are at Best Western celebrating our 37th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed here 2 years ago for a family reunion....we love our stay here and the breakfast is awesome, bacon, eggs, waffles, biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, coffee,juice, fruit, etc........thank you Brenda !!!

Excellent stay. I enjoyed every aspect of Best Western. The rooms are updated, new chair, new look, very comfortable and pleasing. Upgraded the breakfast and I was impressed. Food was very good and plentifull. Many things to choose from. Cudos to Best Western in Columbia KY.

All of the staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean and updated. Had a small problem with the TV remote but the guy at the front desk came to my room and fixed it immediately. Very good customer service.

We were traveling with a team, so had several rooms and I was pleasantly surprised, as I like to travel and stay at various places. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were roomy and provided a great night's rest. The rooms were clean and I appreciated the clean, fluffy towels. The minor details could be attended to, like the floorboards being dusted and wiped clean in the bathroom, but overall I was satisfied with this room. It was MUCH cleaner and more comfortable than a hotel we stayed in while in Nashville. Thank you for accommodating so many of us at breakfast time as well, since there were 2 other teams in town for games as well.

Not a big selection of hotels BUT Best Western Columbia was clean & very safe! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would be visiting Columbia KY. I was there for a family reunion and staff was very professional and nice.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days as a weekend get away trip with some family and friends. We rented a house boat on Lake Cumberland, It would have been cheaper to stay in the area, but the hotels in that area are not as clean as the Best Western in Columbia. Its only about a 25 minute drive to where we needed to go everyday so that wasn't bad at all.. The hotel offers clean comfortable rooms with a free full breakfast served every morning. They have a wide variety of options.. Both hot and cold items. All staff were friendly and courteous to us everyday we were there. For the three day stay every morning we were greeted by Miss Annie ( One of the Managers on the property ) and Miss Brenda ( Staff Housekeeping Supervisor ) For breakfast..Both Ladies are FANTASTIC!! They took great care of us. I have a large family and they can be a bit overwhelming at times, but the ladies handled our large crowd like champs!! If you ever visit this hotel you will not be disappointed. And you must meet Annie and Brenda while you are there. They are friendly, helpful, courteous, and a delight to meet. Our rooms were very clean and quiet. We loved our rooms upstairs at this property. The Ladies suggested that they are much more quiet rather than being on the first floor. They were right. My Family and I will be returning to this property next year around the same time. Cant wait to come back for another enjoyable stay and weekend getaway on the Lake! This property also has a swimming pool on site, however we were gone everyday so we did not get an opportunity to enjoy this amenity.

The bed was comfortable but smoke smell in the room. Décor is getting out of date. Good pillows. Tub was only partially functional. Good for if you are staying for business with the university. There were lots of flies in the lobby. Other guests were noisy and hung in the parking lot a lot. Breakfast is prepackaged/processed food. Ok though.

While the town of quaint and inviting it needs more hotel options. The room doors are in the outside which is a negative and the beds are old and creaky. The rooms needs upgrading and security is in need of improvement. It would improve the hotel if they did just a bit more.

Miss Brenda and Miss Annie made my stay the best western in Columbia one of the easiest most enjoyable ever !??????!! The rooms are extremely clean and the made fresh everyday breakfast is to die for. I stayed for about 3 weeks while working and I messed up my hotel room good every night when I got back every afternoon it was spotless and smelled very fresh. This hotel is worth a stay for at least a night even if you already live In columbia its a nice quiet place to relax after work or just get away from the kids and relax by the sparkling clean pool.

This is about 14 miles West of HWY 127 on the Cumberland Road, exit 49 - Easy access off an on. Old type motel, in that the rooms face out to the parking lot, however very clean and somewhat modernized with refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. Tub/Shower/Toilet within it's own room, and sink/mirror is separated, thus one person can be in the restroom, while the other can be washing up/brushing teeth, etc., without having to wait on the other person to get out - Although I mark the Hotel Staff with a Four, this was due to the excellent check-in, however the two days we were there, in the evening or the last day during the morning the front staff had to be "buzzed" more than a few times as other were trying to check-out. We witnessed this while trying to eat breakfast in the lobby as the sitting area for the breakfast is limited, though the food was plentiful and good and keep well supplied except the coffee - A number of people came in to get coffee, however didn't stay for breakfast, so it disappeared fairly fast. The outside areas were well kept as well, and recommend getting a room on the first floor on the lobby side.

We attended our son's fishing tournament and this hotel provided excellent accommodations. The staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast bar plentiful. The location was an easy ride to Green River Lake. Though we did not bring our dog they are pet friendly too. Other fishing teams stayed in this hotel as well. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Just checked in and very impressed with the condition of the hotel. Completely remodeled and clean. Robert was so welcoming. He gave us the names of some great places to eat. We picked this place because our original destination was booked. We will make this our primary place to stay in the future.

I prefer Best Western hotels when I travel and this facility in Kentucky was excellent. This facility is in an area close to Lexington and the Kentucky Horse Park and is in the heart of Kentucky horse farms. I can always find a Best Western near most sites of interest.

We stayed July 21-July 24, 2016 and would like ever one to know how pleased we were with our room, the friendly service and the overall stay. The housekeeper, Brenda, was fantastic, the manager, Dee, was a super guy and was very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was awesome, the pool was clean, and furniture was updated. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks for making our stay pleasurable. If I am ever back near Columbia this is where I will stay.

You won't find a better place to stay anywhere!!! Great rooms, newly redecorated. Awesome hot breakfast in the morning to get your day started. Super location,located near a lot of restaurants with in walking distance. They have the friendliest staff around to help you with anything you need.

Stayed one night on a business trip. Front desk manager was very nice and helpful. The property is clean and well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable as well. I was very impressed with this BW property.

Stayed at this hotel during a weekend trip to Kentucky for a birthday party. I stayed at this hotel many years ago and hoped it was updated and nice like it was when it was new. And, it was! The room was modern and the beds very comfortable when the four pillow selection to make it easy to fall to sleep. The pool was not heated so it was very cold and really needed to be cleaned. But, since we were the first people to use it in the morning we just cleaned it ourselves which was a learning experience for my grandson. The carpet in the room needed to be cleaned but it was not totally gross. The location of the hotel is great - right off the expressway. There are a lot of fast food restaurants close and a CVS. And, there is a Speedway Gas Station if you need snacks during the night after the Sonic is closed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel.....

We took our two grandsons ages 4 and 5 on a brief weekend vacation for family reunion. This was first stay at this Best Western and we were really impressed by staff and how helpful they were. My grandson lost his stuffed animal and they were very helpful in looking for it. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast items were all very good and enough variety for even a very picky 5 year old to have a good breakfast. I would stay here again.

I found the facility to be clean and comfortable with staff friendly and helpful. Brenda oversees a very nice continental breakfast! I was amazed and impressed to see a sign posted that gluten and dairy-free options were available upon request when I went for breakfast. It was a very nice stay!

What can you say about a Best Western stay? It's fairly cheap. The rooms are very standard. This Best Western was kept quite clean. I had a smoking room, at my request, so it smelled like smoke, but that is to be expected. My AC had a condensation issue and management came right away to look into it. They offered to move me or bring in a fan to dry out the carpet. I chose the fan. Management and housekeeping were extremely prompt and friendly. Breakfast fare was as expected. A little strange in the way it was set up (spent a lot of time looking for things like coffee and silverware). All in all, a pleasant business stay.

Convenient location, clean rooms, nice pool, excellent customer service. Hot breakfast served daily was tasty and fresh. Within walking distance of shopping, convenience stores and several fast-food establishments. We will visit this Best Western again when in the area.

When I booked this room, I was not notified that renovations were ongoing (which is the norm with the larger, nicer chains of hotels). Unfortunately, renovations included drilling and hammering in the room adjacent to mine, and there were boxes, large pieces of equipment, and assorted crap littered around the hall. Also...my ice cube tray had cola-colored frozen stuff in a couple of the ice compartments. GROSS

The staff were very pleasant at check-in and check-out. (I can't speak to how well they handle problems, because we did not have any!) The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Very professionally run--good experience!

This was a very nice, family friendly hotel It was very clean and the staff was Awesome! Jenna at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than most expensive hotels. If we come back to Columbia, this is where we will stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! It was a good experience as I have never stayed in this hotel before. My room was very clean and beds were very soft and comfortable. For Breakfast the selection was fabulous.. Everything from eggs, bacon, gravy and biscuits to cereal, bagels and waffles. It was a very enjoyable breakfast. All the restaurants in town are walking distance and their are some excellent little shopping places on the square if you have some time to kill while In the area. If I am ever in the are again I will be back to this nice little hotel I Columbia. I would like to recognize my housekeeper during my stay, Mrs. Cathy, and the young lady that checked me in, Mrs. Annie ( Super Woman ) - She was fabulous during check in and even though it was late and she had been there all day she greeted me with the brightest smile. I enjoyed talking to her during my stay. Hope to return to this Best Western in the near future.

When traveling to small towns, there are not very many hotel options. This hotel is nice, clean and the staff are very courteous. Our room had two queen beds, which were very comfortable. Nice linens. I would like to have had a better quality of toiletries. This is the only complaint I have with the property.

Perfect location while visiting Lindsey Wilson College! This is a very clean, comfortable hotel. It has recently been updated so the furnishings are nice and new. The beds are pretty comfortable, minus the pillows, they are small and a bit too fluffy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location.

Service is exemplary, especially noted are Annie and Brenda. Also, all other employees are friendly and helpful. Our room is immaculate and everything works well. Updates to rooms will make the rooms even more aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast room is clean and there is fine variety of both hot and cold foods. This a well run property from the top down.

The staff was very friendly and accommodative. The room was clean but had a slight odor. The carpet & linens showed some wear, but it there was no issue with cleanliness.Location is very convenient to Lindsey Wilson Sports Complex. Several fast food restaurants are within walking distance, including a Sonic, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell.

My wife and I only stayed one night, just used for sleep over after picking up son from LWCollege. It was a little noise all night, loose toilet seat and mattress needs to be replaced. Over all I would stay again.

I normally stay at this hotel. due to the fact my parents are deceased and buried about 14 miles away in russell springs. we feel columbia is a close point to russell springs. so we stay at best western. well normally i get annie burton a wonderful friendly front desk host. this time. i booked the room and I had never been told of a deposit that had to be made if you pay cash its 100.00. when i left indiana to go to this motel i removed my cash from my bank. and when i reached the hotel. JENNA THE FRONT DESK CLERK WAS BUZY with her manager. she was not the friendly person she normally is. she kept watching her manager in the back ground making me feel very uneasy. she was a little rude when she said 100.00 deposit for the jacuzzi room. i said i have cash and i do not have money in my debit acct. she said sorry. i felt like a fool. or betw a rock and very hard place. i had never been told this policy she let me get by with a $20.00 deposit. the room was gorgous loved the jacuzzi. but very very expensive. 114 dollars a night outragous. or more. then yesterday as i was leaving i went to check out. and Jenna back again was buzy cooking. she never bothered to check me out she said oh excuse me iam cooking. and continured on as i stood there at the front desk like a dunce. my husband was waiting and we had to go home we had to work at home. so. i felt very let down on this trip before it has been a pleasure. except. the last trip 2 months ago ants. in room 121 heavily ant infested. i called back and explained to please use raid or something./ when they get the SLEEP INN HOTEL BUILT NEXT TO WALMART WE PROBABLY WILL STAY THERE INSTEAD.

There are not many options for an overnight stay in Columbia, KY, but I think that must have encouraged this Best Western to be the best they could be rather than just rest on being practically the only game in town. This is our third stay. We noticed some physical improvements since our last stay. The quality seems to be consistent or better. The staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful -- even when you check in at midnight! The motel stays frequently full, so I recommend reservations.

This hotel is clean, but seems to be beginning to show some age. I feel they take advantage of the fact that they are the only known hotel chain in the town because rates seem to be going up every year even tho I don't see improvements happening at the hotel. It's fine, but I feel a little pricey.

The hotel is the only one in Columbia, KY. It's not that bad, I have stayed at better hotels, but I have also stayed at much worse. It was very convenient for our needs. There are several places to eat nearby.

Very clean and hotel staff we're very friendly. The ONLY complaint would be the breakfast. It was OK. COFFEE was good but food choices weren't. The location is perfect. Right off the columbian parkway. Towels were very clean. The TV had all the channels including all of HBO channels.

This hotel is convenient to all the local activities. Easily accessible from Cumberland Parkway. Very friendly & helpful staff, always go above & beyond to help or answer any questions. Internet service is fast and reliable.

Although it's the only place to stay in Columbia KY it's a nice friendly place to stay and breakfast is good. Beds could be a little softer but some like hard beds. Showers and room seem clean but could use another smelly in rooms.

Very nice place to stay and is in a small community. It is very safe to stay there, KY State Police next door! Everyone was nice, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast was excellent. I slept very good on the bed and usually takes me a day or two to get used to a bed but not here, sound asleep on day one. I would recommend this to anyone.

Best Western Columbia is a good choice when staying in the area. Their breakfast has hot and cold choices, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. It's not a super fancy place, very relaxed and we always feel welcome.

We stayed at this facility in March 2016 while attending the WGI Mid South Percussion Finals in Bowling Green. It's the only hotel/motel in town, but they run the place as if there were 10 other options down the road. This is the cleanest and most updated 20th century facility we have ever stayed at. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the TV and cable service (and WIFI) were top notch, the HVAC system was quiet and effective, and the front desk personnel provided Disney-style service. The continental breakfast deserves special mention. Lots of options for all ages, fresh and hot choices, including a waffle maker. This $95 room (with amenities and continental breakfast) was better than some $200 plus rooms we have stayed in over the years. Bravo, Best Western Kentucky! We will be back!

This hotel is conveniently located for any activity on town and awesome for college activities. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast is always a good choice and hot. Hotel is starting to look like it needs some updating, beds are becoming a bit squeaky.

Only hotel in the area and bad weather or would have left and found another hotel. Bathroom was tiny and the vent was very loud. The shower was loud and didn't work properly. The heater didn't work roperly, it was either to hot ot to cold. The shower leaked water clear out and onto the carpet. Ice machine was broke, so if you wanted ice you had to go to lobby, where you couldn't find anyone, even to checkout. Good luck.

There is no other hotel in Columbia KY so we stay there and people that work there are very nice but they need to spruce up the rooms and the smell. Beds are hard but rooms clean. TV and internet are very good. Noise not to bad. Breakfast needs some fresh fruit and fresh pastries.

wonderful trip annie b. is the best and Jenna and brenda the best personell staff so wonderful and helpful. i booked this room thru a travel agency they double booked me by mistake.. annie helped me get the right phone number to cancel and get a refund on 1 of the rooms. she also was so precious and gave me a downstairs king room non smoking. we walked into the room and fell in love. room 121# a huge king size room clean to perfection smelled so nice and fresh with a microwave and fridge. nice wifi. the room was overly big and very comfortable with a coffee maker a hair dryer a ironing board and iron. 30 min. from russell springs ky our desination. love this motel for our first time at this motel. iam from the area but live in the state of indiana. i had never stayed here before and i give it no ! cudos.... for the staff, the front desk staff and breakfast and cleanliness and fresh room

We visited the Columbia area recently. Choices of hotels in this area are slim. We ended up at the Best Western. The room was poor. Bedding outdated and smelly. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the people next door and their entire conversations. The toilet was so low to the ground it was hard to use. The bathroom area was outdated and small. The eating/breakfast area was a joke because only about 6 people could sit in there and there wasn't much to choose from. We had to leave and visit the McDonald's close by to get breakfast because the line for food and the seating was so poor.

This is an older hotel that has been refurbished with excellent craftsmanship, Rooms are sparkling clean and contain all newer amenities (fridge, coffee, TV, etc.) The reason I am writing this is due to the people at the registration desk - in particular, Jenna. She made sure I got the room I wanted and gave me extra assistance with wifi connections. It is so nice to be greeted when entering this hotel. I'll stay here again.

I stayed at Best Western a few weeks ago, but, I haven't had the time to get my review on here until now. But, for starters, let me compliment the breakfast bar. This hotel had everything from eggs to bacon to biscuits and gravy, to oatmeal and muffins. I stayed in a non smoking 2 double queen room, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Room spelled of cleaner, which is always a good thing. Sheets were clean and blankets were clean. I could not find my thing wrong with my room whatsoever, and believe me, when I stay in a hotel I check my room thoroughly. This room was spotless. All staff I met were very friendly and courteous. The lady I spoke to the most was miss Annie, she recommended a good place to have lunch and dinner, she recommended a antique mall in the next county over, and she printed me out a map of the area. She was a very pleasant young lady. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. It's a small hotel In an even smaller town, but you can't beat the value for the price. Thanks for the great stay Best Western. I will definitely be back to stay again. P.S. Columbia is a dry town, so if you like to have a cold drink you need to bring your own beer.

Very clean, safe environment. Handicap bathroom was great...truly accessible with a shower stool in the tub. Breakfast was good. Convenient to the highway. Good restaurants nearby. Will definitely go back!

The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed..... I found the staff the be very friendly as well as professional! The hot breakfast was better than most...the ice machine was located outside and out of service due to the cold weather. However, ice was available at the front desk...I highly recommend staying at this motel!

We were in town for the state wrestling tournament my husband was coaching at. Check in and out was extremely quick and easy with very helpful staff. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and size of the king room that we stayed in. The internet service was great which made getting some other work done very easy. I do wish that there was an indoor pool or spa, as it was cold outside and the only pool was outdoors. However, overall I was very pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Very quiet just off the parkway, They were training a new check in person and seems as he was learning very quickly, did a good job for me. The owner/manager seems to take pride in the hotel. Not very many places to choose from in this area, they take care of the property as if they have competitors and that's a good thing, they don't have to but do. I will stay there again

We stayed there for a sports tournament at Lindsey Wilson college down the road - when I pulled up I was put off because "I don't stay at Motel's", the place was clean and the staff was friendly even thought the lobby is small - Brenda did an amazing job greeting the crowd in the morning (40 of us were there with our team) and she cleaned an stocked that food like each of us were her only worry. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Word of caution - it's a dry county, so BYOB. Lots of fast food options around and a few local places. Not a big town, but really friendly.

I had never stayed at this small town hotel before until the other night. I had been traveling to the area for business. This hotel is the only joint in town. Not a fancy hotel and nothing big, but it has been well maintained and taken care of from what I could tell. The Young Lady ( Annie ) at the desk had no problem getting me checked in early. She promptly answered all of my questions about the area and suggested a nice little restaurant to eat lunch. She had a remarkable smile that I will never forget. My room was a standard king room. Nothing special but it offered everything that I needed for the night. Room was very clean and the room smelled very nice. It did not have a funky odor like a lot of older hotels do. I made it down for breakfast before check out the next morning and Annie was running the breakfast bar and the desk by herself. I guess you have to be a jack of all trades to work at this hotel. She seemed to be a very busy young lady. Breakfast was very good to my surprise. Biscuits, eggs, bacon and gravy were all served. Everything was very good. I have no issues at all with my staff. I slept comfortably and the room was very quiet. I will be back to this hotel if in the area again.

Hotel is very reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful, beds are extremely comfortable, breakfast buffet is good with plenty of choices, quiet rooms with fridge, awesome hot showers, convenient to town activities and Cumberland Parkway.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, the heater was not working properly, the staff offered to give us another room and offered to move for us. We decided to stay in our room and the staff brought us some extra blankets, and a key to the other room if we decided to change. They turned to heat on in the other room just in case we did change, there only request was to let them know if we did change. Brenda was taking care of the breakfast bar, she offered her assitance if we needed anything. the area was very clean and the food was very good.

Enjoyed the stay, very friendly people, Quiet place. They had the standard hotel breakfast. The cereal dispenser containing fruit loops was not. They were generic brand. Also, I'm not a fan of sausage gravy, like plain gravy better. I will stay there again.

I spend 125 nights a year in hotels and this is the worst Price to Value room I have ever stayed at. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor in providing a small overpriced room with no microwave. Room was clean and TV and Wi-Fi were excellent.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The linens were great and plenty of pillows on the bed. The mattress was not as comfortable as I would like. It was easy to get to the hotel and close to several eating establishments. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean, good breakfast and great staff. Have stayed here may times and always have a great experience. Breakfast of eggs, bacon, pastries, good coffee! Always have coffee in the lobby. Close to fast food eateries and town. Easy parking, well lit parking lot. Staff is always helpful and considerate, even made us extra bacon! Really enjoy our stay with them. Would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Columbia, Ky.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Our grandson plays football for Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia. Have been very satisfied with the Best Western Columbia, KY each time we've stayed. They have a very nice breakfast available.

We stayed in a jacuzzi room - the 2 person jacuzzi was great, the hotel room was clean and nicely decorated, the king-sized bed was ohhh so comfortable and we had all the amenities we could wish for, including a great complimentary hot breakfast. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Everything was very nice ! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great maid service ! Stayed an entire weekend. Local eating places and stores within walking distance . Clean rooms . Nice breakfast choices.Nice warm pool. My granddaughter come to spend the day and spent more time in the pool then with my old self!

Stayed at this hotel because there is no other hotel in the area. We always stay here. Beds are hard but rooms are clean. Town is very small but has places to eat that are good. Peopleis that work at this hotel are very nice and help you whenever they can. No real problems.

We were headed to an out of town wedding and made a short vacation out of our trip. We called for last minute reservations close to the wedding venue and the first Best Western was full for the evening, We were referred to the BW in Columbia and were very pleased with our accommodations. The front desk receptionist was very personable and pleasant,. She was very helpful in giving directions and suggestions for the local restaurants. Very surprised that there was a hot breakfast buffet. Small seating area for breakfast. Room was very clean with all amenities that we needed for a one night stay. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel room was clean and the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. It was conveniently located next to many restaurants. The price was very reasonable. There was a refrigerator in the room but there was no microwave. The outside was nice and clean and there was not a lot of noise.

This hotel is clean located in a nice area. The rooms are clean. Television service needs to be upgraded. There is no HD and very few channel options. The overall facility is well lit and gives a safe surrounding feeling.
