Best Western Roosevelt Place Hotel

The hotel is clean & quiet, has in-room coffee, microwave and fridge, hair dryer and iron. The usual breakfast... nothing great, nothing really bad. I got the Member rate and I booked directly with the hotel with zero issues. I stay frequently at this hotel.

Warm and clean place to stay while traveling across North Dakota. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was hot and delicious with excellent selection of breakfast items. The parking lot felt secure.

We pulled in very late in night after our 7 hour trip. At 4:30 am fire alarm went off for half an hour. When called front desk they stated that the cook burnt the bacon. Tried to fall asleep but even with heater running in room there was a draft under the door as they had all the doors open airing out the building. When we went to bacon they served the burnt bacon. Like they seriously thought people will eat the bacon. Very unprofessional. When asked about refund or discount was told the only time available was 7 am. The manager should of came and found me not me hunt down manager and shouldn't even had to ask for discount should of been given.

Very clean and had everything that you would need. The breakfast has the regular choices, eggs, bacon, potatoes , and a waffle maker, ect. The staff is professional and very friendly. The hotel is also across the parking lot to a very good Mexican restaurant.

This property has a beautiful lobby and clean rooms. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is close to several restaurants and Costco/Walmart, with easy access to Sam's Club. The breakfast has a good variety.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, good location, pet friendly hotel. We stay here often, and are always happy to choose here again. Easy to get in, check in is quick, several good restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Friendly and efficient check in , clean room, small refrigerator without freezer, quiet room, good breakfast with scrambled eggs, lightly fried ham slices, and fresh fruit salad. Would definitely stay again. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping.

This hotel went over and above! This is my go to hotel in Bismarck, the staff is so attentive. We had a party bus not show up to take us to my son's wedding at a ranch about 40 miles out of Bismarck. The front desk gal jumped into action and called her manager to find out if we could use the Roosevelt courtesy van to get to the venue. Of course due to insurance issues, that was not a possibility. So, the manager brought his own personal van to the hotel and picked up the groom and all the groomsmen the drove them to the wedding venue, keep in mind 40 miles out of town! This is customer service at it's best. The Roosevelt has always been my go to in Bismarck, and will continue to be just that. Thank you Roosevelt Team for all your help that day, it will never be forgotten!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and updated. The options for breakfast were many and everything was easy to access. There was coffee that was hot 24 hours/d. Vending services were ample.

The Roosevelt Best Western is always my choice when staying in Bismarck ND. Very clean, great breakfast which is always fully stocked and hot, staff is pleasant and helpful. It is a great place to stay when visiting the area.

This was a great value at a base of $102. The facility was newer, exceptionally clean, great room with LOTS of pillows, wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff. On our recent cross country trip, we never experienced anything even close to this quality at this price.

The staff was very friendly when we were checking in and out. Our room was nice and clean . The breakfast had a nice variety to pick from and liked it had a waffle machine and fruit as a choice. Came in late so it was nice the hotel was walking distance to a restaurant.

Very clean hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, reasonably priced. We did not use pool so we can't comment on that area but everything else was very good. Even the number of TV channels was a surprise to us. Usually you get just a few channels but this was a full Dish TV channel list.

We stopped here after traveling 9 hours. We are typically happy with Best Western. This time did not disappoint. CLEAN and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and we could walk for a quick dinner. Now… on to Yellowstone National Park! I now have my minimum number of characters!!!!

When I asked if I could shorten my trip by a day without being charged, I was told no. When I asked if the reason why I was shortening my trip mattered to them or not, I was told no. Best Western does not have compassionate day shift front desk staff. I've never had a hotel admit that they don't care, they just want my money. It was a unique experience, to be sure. The room was clean, functional, so excellent housekeepers. Breakfast was delicious (eggs could use more flavor tho), just not kept well stocked, so OK breakfast staff. Pool was small, no hot tub, but that's alright. My service dog was welcomed, so excellent job to the evening staff who checked me in for knowing ADA rules. Yet it's unlikely I'll be staying with Best Western in the future, due to the lack of empathy from the day shift's front desk staff. The hotel was fully booked, I keep my room very clean so it's easier for HK to clean it, and they could've easily sold my room for the night I didn't want. There was no loss of funds occurring. They were turning people away, even after I had asked if I could leave a day early. The lack of compassion from that woman was just very upsetting to me.

Late check in, but when I got there the lady knew who I was immediately. Very delightful, very friendly and helpful. She got my info gave me my card super fast. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from. Have to mention the bed was so comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay here! All the staff we encountered were very friendly and happy to help or greet us. We loved that we could bring our dog. Beds were a little hard, but they had good pillows. Breakfast was okay, not great.

The service is always great. The breakfast changes daily and is very good. The fresh fruit is a nice addition. The rooms are average size, clean and well maintained. This Best Western usually has many staff, cleaning, two on breakfast, two on front desk for checkout….

This hotel seems like a newer place. It is located close to the highway but in such a way that makes it quiet. I arrived in the evening from Billings Montana and it was a pleasant place to sleep for the night. I noticed some ripe bananas in the breakfast area and asked if they were for the taking. It was nice to grab something healthy after a long drive. This location seems newer and is located close to some stores, but the traffic from all the main roads are far enough to make a quiet phone call outside or take a walk. My family also liked how close this was to the State Capital building, which is always cool to see. Overall a great place to stay for the night.

We were pleasantly surprised with our one-night stay here in Bismarck. We had traveled 8 1/2 hours from Iowa on our way to a family reunion at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The room was clean and the price was right, but we did have a few hiccups - so that is why we did not offer the best rating. When we got to our room we had two surprises we did not expect. First, the air conditioner was not on in the room. It is July and the room was quite stuffy. Second, the television did not work. We called the front desk and Moriah said she would come down and take a look or she would have to have the manager come to our room. It took around 45 minutes for Moriah to knock on our door. She was able to access a button on the back of the TV and get the TV back up and running. I don't think it was Moriah's fault that our supper/dinner was delayed. She looked to be running that hotel pretty well by herself. She'd worked the night before there at the hotel, but was back in working another shift because they were short on staff. Otherwise, we had a 9nice complimentary breakfast selection. We did not access the indoor pool, but I did work out in the exercise room for about 45 minutes. I would stay here again. Kudos to Moriah - Best Western Roosevelt is lucky to have her -- a real asset to their hotel and pleasant to work with in resolving issues and questions we had during our stay.

Comfortable and clean, very personable and helpful staff, above average hotel breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Pool was a little on the cold side but that's a negligible point. Overall a very good value.

Hotel is easy to access, situated amoung an area with restaurants, Walmart, and other shops. Parking is plentiful, staff is great, hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast biscuits were fresh out of the oven and very tasty. Great breakfast choices as well. Very reasonably priced as it may have been the least amount of money of all the BWs we stayed in this summer.

Stayed 4 nights, had a King room. Room was ok. but watch out for the "Green" scrambled eggs, not so good! Hotel was full over the weekend, ice machine never ran out of ice! Friendly Staff. Location is within walking distance to several restaurants.

The positive reviews were correct. Everything was excellent. Location, food and gasoline nearby, airport just a few miles, W&D, parking, quiet, clean, great personnel. This is one of the better BW's that I have stayed at in North America. I definitely will stay here again on my future trips to the ND State Capitol. Hopefully there will be rental cars available in Bismarck next time.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple different times and it's always been a good experience. Friendly and helpful staff. I like the location. It is right next to Walmart and has a few restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is very warm and comfortable. They did their best to accommodate us with our last minute reservations. The bed was very nice and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bismarck!

My Family, Friends, and I never stay anywhere else. On the rare occasions that something is less than perfect all you have to do is let staff know and they will try everything within their ability to make our stays perfect.

We were greeted warmly. The room was quite clean and comfortable, apparently a fairly new construction.(I was impressed by the expansive stair landings on each floor, as safety landings for mobility-limited people.) No places to eat within walking distance. (It appears Walmart is nearby.)

We stayed in Bismarck ND for two nights for a weekend “ get away”. Room was ready when we showed up early. We were greeted and quickly checked in. Rooms were clean, newer and quiet. Motel was full but very quiet. Good temperature control.

It took quite awhile for someone to return to the desk to check in. However, once the front desk gal arrived she was friendly and efficient! The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! Breakfast was very good, but the coffee was terrible. All things considered I would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay again if I'm in the area!

Bismarck's Roosevelt Place Hotel is the perfect hub of North Dakota at the intersection of busy highways for the tiresome drivers. The hotel is an excellent location near several excellent restaurants where customers are walking across the street. We drove a long and quiet 9-hour way eastbound from Montana via Highway 2 and 83 southbound, so we deserved a good restful hotel overnight. Breakfast especially sausages and hash browns were delicious. The bed mattress was excellent for the tired couple to sleep on.

This was a quick overnight stop en-route from Olympia to Minnesota. We were not seeking a lot, and we did not get a lot. The bed was comfortable. The internet worked. The guest laundry worked for us. So, it met the essentials. The clerk was training a new hire when we checked in. She was very experienced, but a lousy teacher, and wasted some of our time while not being a good trainer to the new employee. As is often the case, it was hard for us to set up dinner in-room, and we are avoiding restaurants due to covid. No space that worked for two people to sit together. Breakfast was OK, but not at all special. Only one elevator (better than none!) so there were waits to move in and out. The location is utterly nondescript. Fairly far from the interstate, but in the midst of big box stores and fast food restaurants.

Very nice hotel. Exceptionally clean. Quiet, about 2 miles off the interstate. Room was spacious and well decorated. 2 queen beds were really comfortable. Nice, soft oversized bathroom towels. Standard BW breakfast: self-made waffles, good (pre-made) scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and sausage. Lots of fresh fruit and breads. Online check-in and check-out were remarkably easy.

The location can be tricky to find because not all of the streets have signage. They had white towels and linens, just very thin. I am talking frayed edges on the top sheets, and a washcloth that had a hole in it. On the day we arrived, we were settling in when the door opened with a card key. I thought it was housekeeping, even though we had not asked for anything. Instead we heard “sorry, I was given this key” and the door closed. A short while later, I answered the phone to a rather demanding “Who is this?” I stated my name and followed with “And whom am I speaking with?” She stated her name and said she was from the front desk. She asked how we got the keys to that room. I said my sister had recently checked in and was given two card keys with that room number written on the paper key holder. She asked my sisters name and spelling. She indicated that our room was assigned to a different party and there was something in the conversation about us having to move. I said we are not moving. (We are disabled senior citizens.) I was more than a bit taken aback by her rudeness. She said she would call us back. I had to say to her twice that there was no need to, because we were not moving. My sister and I went to the front desk to show this person, whom I will call Amanda, our IDs and the card key case. By that time Amanda said she found out that the person from the previous shift had given us the room, but had recorded it as a different room. So we went back to our room. Of course, the keys did not work. So we had to go back to see Amanda and have our keys reprogrammed for the room. Can you imagine the frustration? Later that night there was thumping on the floor until 11:30. I had ear plugs and was able to sleep, but my sister wasn't as fortunate. The next day the thumping started at 7:30 AM and went on for a while and then more of it in the afternoon. I went upstairs and knocked on the door. I saw what appeared to be three generations and I assumed the grandkids were jumping on the floor, possibly off of the beds. So annoying. The few television channels we had from the Direct TV had so many lapses in transmission that it was difficult to watch. Other than that, the breakfasts were better than the usual wet eggs breakfast. The cook/attendant was attentive and kept things clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job at keeping everything clean. There were also nicer and more professional front desk employees. Overall for the price I don't think we will go here again. And, no, we were not given any compensation for the inconvenience of the room key mixup.

After a difficult conversation with reservations (I kept getting cut short for my questions), it was a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by the young lady at the front desk with her beautiful smile. She addressed all our questions, explained our perks for membership and got us settled nicely into our hotel room. The rooms only have one night stand and a plug in in that side. Difficult for couples who travel together. I was the one who slept closest to the wall, no place for my phone to charge or sit overnight close to me (need it for multiple reasons). We turned the ac on as it was warm through the night. I had to turn it off as the constant fam blew so well, it hit the cold air against the far wall of the room making it cold even for my husband lying on the inside part. After shutting the constant fan off, it was nicely comfortable. All in all, a good sleep, comfortable beds, clean room. Thankful! Over all

We were looking for a place to stay after dropping my daughter off at college and the room rate seemed reasonable so we gave it a try. I liked walking into the motel and it smelled clean and fresh. The room was spacious and in great condition. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and the breakfast was great. I am glad to have found this great place to stay and am looking forward to my next stay.

This hotel was a great value in a good location. Check in was efficient, the room decor was contemporary and in good shape, everything was clean and the breakfast was slightly above average. The breakfast room was spacious and well attended to. We would definitely stay here again.

Cordial check in. Lobby was clean, with luggage carts available and coffee & tea options in the ‘breakfast area'. Room was clean, with m'wave & very small fridge. Bathroom was gleaming and toiletries supplied. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains & virtually no traffic noise. Breakfast was the usual ‘free breakfast' options, but kept well-supplied and area kept clean. We were booked in for 2 nights and since there was none in our room, we had to ask for a ‘Privacy' sign for our door & front desk happily supplied us with one. However, after an absence of a couple of hours, we returned to find the ‘Privacy/Do not Disturb' sign had been removed from our door and 2 housekeepers, plus the manager all denied having removed it and also denied entering our room during our absence. The manager then asked if we wanted to have the sign returned to our door…..???!!! As far as we could tell, nothing had been stolen, but needless to say, this was very disturbing! It left us with serious trust issues & questioning the ‘security' factor in this hotel! If not for this incident, the rating for this hotel would have been a bit higher. Will not be returning.

Good room, comfortable beds. The pillows were a bit lumpy and overstuffed, otherwise a good night's sleep. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the tub is a but on the small side for a soak though. The breakfast was better quality than expected. It was a far nicer property and stay than the price would have you believe

Motel happened to be packed. Despite the pressure, staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and pretty much as expected. Breakfast disappointed in that (due to numbers, I expect) was out of items such as bread for toast and cooked eggs.forgiving that, we'd stay there again.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay here. The staff is really nice. The room was in great shape; updated and very clean. It was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again. It's also very reasonably priced and conveniently located.

I previously reviewed this hotel but sadly Trip Advisor doesn't allow for updates and I wanted to share pictures. This hotel is one of just two hotels in the Bismarck/Mandan area that Ive had 100% positive stays at everytime. And trust me, I've stayed at all the hotels many, many times in the past 2 years between my father passing and preparing his home for sale and also my own move back to ND This hotel is always exceptionally clean and the staff all go above and beyond to make the guest's lives easier. It's so very much appreciated! Even seemingly little things, like not making you dig out your credit card again when you extend your stay. It seems insignificant, but to the guests it makes us feel less like just a room number. As far as cleanliness goes, it's top notch! I'm a "clean freak", as in I LOVE to clean! I've went as far as scrubbing the bathroom floor grout at some hotels, but here I'm only left with the luggage cart. Seriously, that's the only thing I've ever seen that could be cleaned more than what it already was. This hotel is very pet friendly. I don't often have Mr P stay with me as he prefers to stay with friends, but this hotel has the dog channel. You might think that it's just another gimmick, and I did too at first, but Mr P couldn't get enough of it. The first night we watched he ended up staying up most of night and then sleeping until 1pm the next day. It was very nice not having to take him out right away in the am. Their grounds are set up perfectly for doggos, very clean with lots of grass spaces and several exits in case you have a reactive dog and prefer to avoid others while going in and out. You will not regret staying at this hotel. Another plus is the price has always been pretty similar when booking direct or using a third party, which is a pretty big plus for me.

Wonderful, newer hotel! Room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and affordable. Had an upper floor room (4th) for quiet, and it was very peaceful and the bed was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room wasn't ready when we got there so we went to dinner. They called us abt 15 minutes later saying it was done - they had jumped right on it. Breakfast in the morning was 2 types of scrambled eggs, ham, muffins, yogurts, pancakes, cereals, coffee and juices. Nice spacious dining room too. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel and staff. Very friendly service provided by all of the staff. Centrally located to all of the sights surrounding and in the Bismarck area. Hotel is kept very clean and the breakfast was really good.

This hotel has been great every time Ive stayed here. As a frequent hotel guest in the area, I can honestly say this is one of the best. One thing in particular that is great about the BW, you can book direct for pretty much the same price as using a third party.

We reserved 2 rooms for 1 night. Both of our rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I love a super clean bathroom, and the bathrooms here were sparkling! The breakfast was well stocked and a good temperature. I have no complaints with our overnight stay here.

This was the second time we stayed here. The first time was awful! I am always willing to give a place a second chance. This experience was much better! It is a basic Best Western that we will use when traveling from Idaho to Minnesota

GPS navigation is useful because this hotel is well off the highway and behind a hill. Modern building/facilities, excellent bed & good sleep, busy elevator & dining room because we arrived in the middle of a noisy 'grad' party. Breakfast apple juice was flavoured water, guests spilled waffle sauce all over the counter. Oh well...

Safe location. Staff seems indifferent to your presence. On every occasion of our entry into the hotel, desk attendant ignored us, including check-in and check-out. Breakfast is a step or two worse than prison food, the irony of which is not lost on me. "Eggs" are definitely not eggs in this "Western" hotel. Pool is tiny and a bit chilly. It's not like you can swim laps to stay warm, so you'll have to turn up the heat a bit. It's really just for kids and is cloudy. The price point is affordable, but the value is hovering one half step above ripoff in my estimation. Our first visit to Bismarck, so can't compare it to anything, but next time we'll try another hotel.

Nice, clean hotel for a fantastic price. Took my cats for an additional fee. Great breakfast, although should be rotated quicker, as there aren't warmers. Pillows could be changed out too as a bit lumpy. Also, a bit loud with the children close to the pool, loud doors, loud ice machine and thin walls. Still would highly recommend, as the service and price was excellent.

We enjoy staying at this hotel. The rooms are always clean. The staff is always helpful and kind. The staff is always helpful with any needs. Their breakfast is always great with hot and cold selections.

My family and I stopped in at this hotel while traveling through Bismarck. We found it to be nice and clean. The staff was friendly. We booked a double queen room. Perfect for our family of 4, thank you Bismarck, ND for a great stay.

EV charger has become a reason to choose my hotel. My car charged while I slept at no additional cost. In addition to that the staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and in good repair. I would stay again.

The staff was very freindly. They did a great job. The room was great. Parking lot was cleaned well of snow. Breakfast was fast and good. This is our first fime stayiing in a Best Western. It was a great experience and made our visit to Bismarck relaxing.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were traveling to attend a funeral. I recently had surgery for breast cancer and I have a broken arm and the staff and accommodations really helped me to be as comfortable as possible. The beds are amazing, the rooms are spacious, and our tiny dog was welcomed and loved the extra attention she received.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, straight from check in and whenever we encountered them. Rooms were the cleanest I've seen and very nice. The hot breakfast was great! There were plenty of options for kids and adults to pick from.

Great price, incredible service, decent breakfast, gym and pool were satisfactory, atmosphere was relaxing and I felt everything was cleanly. The excellent location keeps you close to everything without being in the middle of it all.

This hotel is very nicely appointed, exceptionally well maintained, courteous staff and several across the parking lot restaurants, including the best Mexican food restaurant in Bismarck. Perhaps most important, the price is right.

The hotel exterior looked nice. Lobby nice. Room had interesting decor and was comfortable. Breakfast area looked nice, except... as my husband waited for the staff to make more eggs in the back room, he noticed the staff member was moving cooked omelettes with tongs, one fell on the counter and she picked it up with her hands and tossed it back in the tray with the rest of the food to be served. He just felt the handling of food was unsanitary, came and got me and said let's leave and eat somewhere else. We would have mentioned this at check out except, the person checking us out was the same person handling the food. They were doing double duty at the front desk! Would I stay here again? Yes, but this really made me wonder what goes on with the food that you don't see.

We were traveling with another couple and one room was cancelled without contacting me prior to arrival. Since there was a Pow Wow in town, the hotel was fully booked except one room we could have for almost twice the price! After getting BW Customer Service involved, the next morning the difference in price was cheerfully refunded. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good variety for breakfast with cheerful attendant. Free EV car charger. Ask desk staff for key.

Good property to stop at when traveling across ND. This is about the 4th time we have stayed here. Nice rooms and reasonable price. Recommend it. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard hotel fare, but it works.

clean room adverage size for a king room everything in working order . right in same parking area a mexican restaurant Nice pool breakfast however just ok. U make waffles without many fixing . we had to order omellet and potatoe s . thought it was made to order but it was just poor quality food in a warmer. didnt even eat it. old bananas and oranges in a basket need to improve quality for sure. breakfast need to match the nice motel rooms

Our room was right where I asked to be. It was very comfortable and the staff were really friendly. Good breakfast. Enjoyed the automatic pancake maker. Would certainly stay there again. There was virtually no noise, but don't know if nearby rooms were filled.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Roosevelt. The included breakfast was really tasty and had a lot of options, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will be sure to stay here again when we are in the area.

We had had a bad experience at a hotel the night before and we weren't expecting too much from a Best Western.....we were so wrong! The hotel is not new - but it sure felt like it....so clean, and fresh! Gentleman at front desk so welcoming, and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel to all family and friends!

Lovely property convenient for our travels to visit family. Comfy bed, quiet and standard breakfast. However, get clarification when traveling with a pet. I booked well in advance and also personally called to verify pet friendly. At no point was I told it would be other than first floor. This was puppy's first travel and we needed to use elevator to 2nd floor which oh, by the way is pet friendly. Not really pet owner friendly. Staff was not helpful only to say nothing available and first floor was not requested! Really?? Otherwise, nice place to pass the night!

Great all around hotel, great little breakfast with decent dinner choices nearby. Huge king bed, comfy, and clean. This was a business trip and I checked in VERY late and left VERY early, but they were very accommodating. Easy to get Lyft here as well.

When we traveled through Bismarck a few days earlier on our way to Montana we had trouble with two different hotels in the city. I booked the Best Western for our trip back to Minnesota and what a treat! Not only is the hotel super clean and upgraded, but pretty quiet as well. Breakfast choices were better than most places we've stayed as they had made to order hot food, not just sitting out (we didn't actually get any hot food but saw others with it and it looked fine). Good coffee. The bed was comfortable and I really liked the toiletries they offered. The only downside was we got put on the second floor right behind the front awning so we didn't have a view of anything. I assume this was because we booked on a travel site. We will still choose this hotel again if we find ourselves in Bismarck and just ask for a top floor room!

Very nice new property situated close to the interstate, shopping center , Costco, dining (best rated Mexican restaurant is literally walking distance. Good WiFi speed and the breakfast was nice too. You won't be disappointed.

The place appeared new or recently remodeled and was very clean and well maintained. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The room was average size, comfortable, with a large bathroom. The breakfast was limited due the pandemic, but was adequate. Most people in the public areas wore masks, but the person serving breakfast was not wearing a mask. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

EVERY time we've booked a king bed, we are given two queens. We've stayed at this hotel several times but they always oversell the king rooms. The rooms are clean which is usually the selling point for us but we will go elsewhere. When we informed the man on duty checking us in, he wasn't apologetic. He didn't seem to care to be honest.

I was very impressed by this hotel in little old Bismarck, ND. It was clean, the decor is modern and trendy, and the breakfast is good. The value was high and the cost was low. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is very modern and clean. The front desk was helpful and the internet was fast and reliable. It was also nice that it was so close to restaurants and a Walmart. I had a very good night sleep.

If you like a comfy bed, not too hard, this is the place. The three pillows per bed are fantastic. Not old and flat but very high quality. I slept at a neighboring hotel and their bed was hard as a rock with very flat pillows. I will not make reservations anywhere else when I go to Bismarck from now on.

Great bed. Good room the staff was nice. Good location with restaurants in parking lot. The wifi was good I used it alot for work. Close to I94 and gas stations so for me its a great place to stay I will be staying here again the nexed time I have work in Bismarck.

Loved the room, nearby to shopping and restaurants. This hotel is tucked-away, but still easy to find and has a modern feel to it. The rooms are spacious and the staff was helpful. Overall, I do recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

This hotel has been my go to every time I am in Bismarck. The location is close to plenty of dining options and shopping is just minutes away. The hotel staff is always kind and the rooms are clean and quiet.

Great little hotel. The front desk lady was super friendly and accommodating. Our youth basketball team stayed for our last tourney and had a very good experience. Pool is on the small side but very clean and provided plenty of fun and entertainment for the team. Lots of lounging room for parents to sit and visit in the lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Newer hotel near shopping and restaurants on north side of Bismarck. Breakfast was hot and generous. Hotel and room smell like smoke. Something is wrong with the system. It wasn't a remnant odor from a previous guest. It got worse one evening while in our room. I'm sorry to post a negative review. We informed the front desk twice of issues and there was no acknowledgement. If it is important for your to be in a smoke-free environment, I recommend selecting a different hotel.

Our roooms were very clean and nice! We had three rooms and everyone that stayed was more than satisfied with everything! Staff was awesome at check-in and very accommodating throughout our stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom is very small and the exhaust fan cannot handle the shower steam. I was doing my make up and had to leave the door open while my husband showered. Lighting is also very bad in the bathroom. There is a full length mirror but also not very well lit. Breakfast was great and the hotel is very clean. There were several customers however roaming about without masks and our state has a mask mandate. That was a bit disappointing to see. Would stay here again but would bring a lighted make up mirror.

Nice hotel and the staff was very good. Easy check in and the staff was friendly. Room was updated and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fine especially considering all the silliness going on, especially thought the Jimmie Dean Breakfast Sandwiches were a good addition. Didn't get to check out the fitness room, but have to assume it would have been good. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in this Best Western while criss-crossing the country. The front desk employee Brenden was professional, helpful and friendly. We felt very safe from the pandemic here. Good job! Lots of restaurants nearby.

Check in was quick. The room was clean and quiet, even though the place was pretty full. We felt safe going out and returning after dark. There were no towels in the pool area, but the front desk replenished them right away. The lobby, eating area, and elevator were clean. Breakfast was available, unlike most hotels at this time. It was cold, but it was convenient. The coffee was good. The checkout was easy, as the bill was slipped under the door. The lady at the desk was pleasant as we left. We would come back again.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location for us since we were in Bismarck on family business and working north of town. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately we were very disappointed that the dryer was out of order in the guest laundry. This was a break from an extended stay in our RV and we chose the hotel partly because it has a guest laundry.

It's a really nice and clean hotel, very friendly and caring staff. They greated all of us including my 2 dogs. We didnt get there til later, the pool was to close at 10 but since we didnt get their til after 9 they let us swim a little longer

Traveling with family to a funeral in Montana. Was a great find. Extremely reasonable, very clean, and a great breakfast. Bed was comfortable, and the shower spray was great. Highly recommend staying here.

The entire staff was friendly and professional from making the reservation by phone to check out Sunday morning. Our group ranged from 16 months to 68 years. We all loved the facility, food, location, & staff.

Great comfortable beds! Very staff and a nice and clean property! I even had to move rooms because the wind was so intense there was no issues! Had to extend my stay as well. No issues with that either and they have me a great rate for staying again!

Very clean and modern although the bed was terrible. The heating could not be controlled so the room was terribly hot all night long. The service was good and we enjoyed the breakfast. The check in was easy and efficient.

I was looking forward to getting off the road after an 8 hour drive pulling my trailer. I am a BW member and was have stayed at various BWs around Canada. This particular BW in Bsimarck is lovely. Clean, great beds, courtesy and helpful staff and not expensive. I didn't use the pool or fitness room. The internet connection was good - no glitches. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

These are the most comfortable beds in the Bismarck area. I usually stay because of weather concerns and time constraints. I find they are always accessible and easy to get a room either by walk in or online reservation. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We were lucky to be staying at this BW hotel during winter storm Gage. We had to stay a couple of extra days and Micheal (mgr) and his staff made us feel right at home.i have zero qualms recommending this hotel to other travellers

The check in was friendly and efficient, as was the check out. The weather at the time of our stay was not optimal for travel and was pre-blizzard. The staff at the desk were helpful in checking highway conditions and offering advice regarding travel which was appreciated. Our room was clean and comfortable and so was the bed and pillows. The hotel is handy to restaurants, shopping and the Interstate. We appreciated the soft, absorbent towels. Breakfast was pleasing and there were an adequate amount of protein choices.

Passed through on our way down south and found this place to be great. The parking lot was large enough for us to easily maneuver and park a 6x12 trailer, as well as leave the next morning. Breakfast was good, and the staff we interacted with were friendly. The hotel is very pet-friendly, which was something we appreciated.

I love the location of this hotel and all of the amenities included with your stay. The breakfast is fresh with several options and the rooms are clean and spacious. Be sure to take advantage of the airport shuttle!

Newly renovated hotel right off highway 83 and near Interstate 94. Staff was friendly, rooms quiet and breakfast area was clean and well organized. Coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great hotel for the price and would stay here again

This is a lovely, clean, comfortable hotel. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The breakfast served is very good, and wifi is also very good. Check-in staff are very pleasant and go out of their way to be accommodating. The only issue I noticed is that cleaning staff are sometimes remiss about checking off rooms once they have been cleaned, causing some problems for the front desk staff.

The decor of the hotel was beautiful and I loved the chandelier in the breakfast area. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean and very well kept. Breakfast was good loved the fresh fruit it was just right. Room was cozy.

As I was traveling to Dallas, TX I had to stay here overnight. This is one of the few hotels in Bismarck that offers airport shuttle and one of the main reasons I chose it. I found the staff to be nice, helpful and friendly. I had no problems or issues with anything. When my morning flight was canceled and rescheduled for later. They offered me a late checkout to accommodate the delay. The breakfast was very good and they offered a verity of fresh fruit and breakfast items. They even had hash browns. Didn't use the pool but did use the workout room. It's small but had what I needed. I was pleased with my room and the location of the hotel. My only complaint was they didn't have the chair high toilets :(.

We went down Skyline Blvd and didn't see the hotel. It is on Skyline Way which is a block south. It didn't click for us that there was a way and a blvd. We did get there and it was a very nice place. Clean and neat and quiet. The breakfast was good and there was enough space to find a seat. Thumbs up to the staff also.

Check in was very efficient and easy. The room was probably one of largest ever for this chain. Breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold choices. Very easy access. Overall property was excellent. Definitely will be back again.

Just the best hotel stay in a long time. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I like the fact that they give you lots of pillows. It makes for a comfortable stay. Do yourself a favor when in Bismarck stay at the Roosevelt Best Western.

This hotel is wonderful except for the no hot tub. Chris was very friendly throughout our stay. When we had a clogged toilet he even offered to come unclog it for us. As long as you keep him on staff we will come back.

This place is fabulous from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave. The staff is so welcoming, friendly. and helpful. This place is clean! There are several delicious restaurants within walking distance as well as coffee shops, a nail spa, and a Walmart. This is definitely our go-to place when visiting Bismarck.

Located North of town near many retail outlets, Best Western Roosevelt presents a quality that meets the price. A fairly new building and a very pleasant lobby. The staff are quite capable and efficient. I would recommend if you are in the area of Bismarck ND then chose the Best Western Roosevelt.

Both front desk receptionist were both so hopeful and amazing. There was an issue with my card when I checked in Thursday night but they just let me deal with it Friday because it was a late checkin. The morning receptionist was so personable and held a fantastic conversation while I was checking out on Friday.

This was one of the nicest Best Westerns we've ever stayed at - it looked like it was fairly new!! The room was so nice - decorated well, clean, spacious & very comfortable! The beds were wonderfully comfortable! And the breakfast the next morning was delicious - eggs, bacon, & a variety of options! The staff was very friendly & made us feel welcome! I think anyone would find this hotel to be a great place to stay!

This is one of the better hotels I've been to in quite some time. Very friendly staff, clean and bright rooms, comfortable beds and a room rate that left the wallet happy. Breakfast was pretty good too.

When we got to our room, we discovered that the desk clerk had assigned us an adjoining room (with a door connecting to the next room). This was not a problem until a family with 2 noisy kids showed up in the adjoining room just before 8 p.m. The noise went right through the door! The noise continued until we banged on the door and complained at about 10:30 p.m. In retrospect, we wish that the desk clerk had informed us that it was an adjoining room, and we would have asked for a quiet room. When we left at 6 a.m. the next morning, there was no desk clerk to talk to. Otherwise, the room, the lobby and the breakfast were very satisfactory.

Clean, neat, and quiet with a helpful, friendly staff. Good coffee shop and restaurants in the same complex. Fifteen minutes to the airport. Surprising to get an adequate breakfast thrown in at this price. I've paid twice as much for less in business travel. I tend to stay within the Hilton or Marriott groups for business travel, but this is our go to place for Bismarck.

We stopped at this Best Western on a whim. It appears brand new. The price of the room was in the low $70 range and extremely clean and impressive. The breakfast area is open and very inviting. There is everything we could need in walking distance of the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay again when in the area.

This Best Western exceeded my expectations. The building is well maintained with grounds neat. Lobby is very welcoming. Our room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Employees are very pleasant and helpful. We liked it so much, we stayed a second day to explore the area and make a run up to Minot. I would definitely stay here again. I make NO exceptions for this stay.

hotel was very clean (newly remodeled decor), did not hear any noise at all in my room even though there were two dogs staying in a room down the hallway. staff was very pleasant and courteous. breakfast was hot and replentished during the breakfast hours. hotel was easy to access and convenient to all destinations in bismarck we will stay again! thank you

Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Well-lit bathroom and pretty good shower. Room had the usual TV, microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was a bit different, as the meat was kielbasa, not a sausage I, at least, usually consider as a breakfast meat. Coffee was good. They do need to get a couple more luggage carts. The desk clerk said some were on order.

The staff was very friendly. They had a good breakfast selection just needed a meat option. Hotel had very comfortable beds and pillows. As this is a new property, things weren't worn out. The bedding was nice and the towels were fluffy. They also had cookies in the afternoon.

Very pleasant reservation and check-in. The motel was very clean. Our room included a refrigerator (no freezer compartment) and microwave. The pool, fitness center and business center looked great. The pool area also had a shower area and restroom. There is a chair lift by the pool to help people into the pool. The breakfast bar was nice and the seating area was great. Nice selection of breakfast foods. Both medium and dark roast coffee was available, along with tea. One drawback is that the walls are not soundproof as we could hear people in the next room talking. Also, had to run the hot water for a while to get it hot. We were in a quiet area and did not hear any noise from traffic passing by. There were restaurants within walking distance.

This is a very nice hotel at reasonable rates. A nice haven on the road after a stressful week and a move in progress. Pet friendly, beds very comfy, spacious room including desk, bench seat, big chair, frig and microwave, small pool, and breakfast included. Wish we could stay another night to just chill. Great place for that. Highly recommend!

I travel for work and prefer Best Western whenever possible. I was there with my semi and while the hotel lot isn't large enough to accommodate a large truck the nearby side streets were adequate for parking. This hotel is new and is near two restaurants that have good food options even for a vegan like me (one of the restaurants nearby even made me a vegan pizza). There's also a Dunn Bros cafe literally across the parking lot and a Walmart about a block away. The front desk clerks I dealt with were polite and welcoming but unfortunately this is one of the Best Western locations that's starting to copy after motels, tasking the front desk clerk with stupid tasks like laundry and other such housekeeping items that take them away from the front desk. I've complained to Best Western about this and I hope they will fix it; I'm paying for a hotel experience not for a cheap motel. The place is clean and while the water pressure in my 4th floor room wasn't what I expected, the front desk clerk notified someone but I didn't stay long enough to see if they fixed it. There were some stains on one of the bed linens and I promptly gave that piece to the front desk after checking into the room. The lobby is kept very clean as is the breakfast area and a bowl of fresh fruit as well as coffee and hot water for tea are available around the clock. The breakfast selection isn't very vegan friendly but I notified Best Western and hopefully they will improve that.

This was our first stay at this hotel and a great experience. The hotel was new, but, beautifully presented. Very clean and modern with very helpful staff. I think where Best Western have improved across all of their hotels in the bed! Very comfortable with amazing pillows. Always a problem whilst travelling, but, Best Western seem to have nailed that one!

The only reason for not giving it five stars is because there is no hot tub and the pool is very small and cold. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. FYI, the coffee cup lids don't fit tight so be careful. Also had awesome restaurants nearby.

Toilet was always plugging with only water waste. Hair on room floor, so it was not vacuumed. No toilet paper. Was afraid to leave electronics or valuables in room as the personnel at front desk did not appear to be very trustworthy.

I literally had to go look to see if there was such a place in Bismarck. Turns out it was just finishing construction and open for business. It was nice, rooms are modern and good sized. All the amenities and the value was great. Good location for shopping - close to the north Walmart, Gordmans, Ross, Dicks, etc.

Me and my wife stayed here for 5 days. The manager worked with us and gave us a great rate. The hotel was really nice, the rooms were spacious and clean, everything looked new. The front desk staff were great,and really friendly. I will definitely be staying there again whenever we are in the area.

This gem is tucked behind some other buildings but was worth the drive around the block. This pool was declared the best of the trip by two small boys! Our request for a room near the pool was granted...right across the hall. Well done. We will be back next year.

My family enjoyed this hotel. Good location, great rooms, and very clean and nice. They were pleasantly surprised with how great everything was. We will definitely stay here again when we are travelling through Bismarck.

I stayed here when it was the Super 8.... and had to return. This is truly a great place, the person who greeted me was friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and I slept all the way through the night. I seriously wondered how I could get thirsty beef into my vehicle.... joking, but, iit was SO comfortable! The towels were clean, soft and absorbent. I don't want to talk this up too much as I always want to make sure there's a room for me when I need to go there.... The breakfast was the usual features and then piping hot biscuits and gravy..... more than with the price!!!!! Great job!!!!

When I heard Roosevelt Place, for some reason I thought of an old hotel, but it isn't. NIce, clean, well decorated. Rooms at a very reasonable rate. We will stay here again on our next time out here. EAsy to get to from I94.

The hotel is a mile and a half off the interstate and was easy to find with GPS. It is still under construction so it was not well lit up when we came in late at night. Hotel was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hot breakfast was very well displayed with eggs, sausages, waffles and the usual toast and bagels. It was a great place to stay. I would highly recommend.
