    « Pleasant stay »

    Was there for a baseball tournament at Moravian College.... Room was great... Clean and large.... Had great access to the courtyard which houses the pool, but only April so not open yet.... Had a yummy breakfast buffet... Will definitely stay there for Musikfest this year!

    All around great hotel. Ample Parking, great staff and very clean. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area. Great location for easy in and out. Within 15 minutes of Sands Casino and great restaurants.

    « One of the best Best Westerns »

    We came back to this one because their breakfast is the best of all of the Best Westerns that we have visited in the past month and 1/2 which is about 14 of them. Nice place and convenient to the highway.

    Great value here. The check in and check out process was quick. I enjoyed a great burger at the restaurant. The hot breakfast was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located with easy off, easy on access to Route 22.

    « Excellent Value »

    The hotel is dated for sure. The color scheme isn't modern. However, the staff is exceptional. When I had a neighbor with an obnoxious, barking dog, the staff moved me to a quiet room without hesitation. They apologized profusely even though it wasn't their fault. I ate a delicious burger at the on site restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was much more than I expected with hot scrambled eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. I would stay here again. The location is convenient. The value is tremendous.

    « Super Employees Saved our Stay! »

    Hotel is very outdated, lobby smells like cigarette smoke.Initially put us in a room in a wing undergoing room renovations and smelled like paint. Hallway was filthy as were the glass entry doors and stairway area. Staff saved our stay. Erin, the bartender got us moved to another room - still outdated but no construction and much cleaner area. The chef in the restaurant was awesome with a little girl and her dad who were staying due to power outage at their home. Lindsay was kind enough to direct us to our new room and Constance at the front desk stayed patient dealing alone with long lines of folks needing rooms because of the power outage. The only reason I am giving this place a 2 rating is because of the super staff - otherwise this place is worse than zero. I hope they appreciate these super employees! BTW, we are loyal BW customers. However, this experience will make us hesitate staying at a BW in the future - I can't believe this place was rated so well by other visitors.

    « Cold Overnight Stay »

    Good evening! First let me say that I have stayed at your hotel other times and always enjoyed my stay, this past Friday (3/2) I booked a room for the night due to the weather. I left work with the expectation to be at the hotel for a relaxing night, to my surprise I arrived at the hotel to find out there was no power! I can't believe that there was no generator running the hotel. Having no power made it very uncomfortable for the night. I also find it hard to believe that I had to pay!! Paying for what cold room and no power! ! I should have gotten a refund or have been offered a free night!! Get a generator to run the hotel in a power outage.

    I'm sorry for any inconvenience but mother nature totally out of our control. We had 50,000 homes without power in the area so we relocated guests to other hotels and for the ones that decided to stay here we will offer a full refund. Again, we apologize for the disappointing experience and I hope you gives another chance the next time you come to visit the area. safe travels...

    « VERY NICE RENOVATED ROOM! »

    The last time I stayed in this hotel was around two years ago. I always picked this hotel when in the area even though it was a little outdated just because of the great customer service and the reasonable price. This time to my surprise, I was checked in a totally renovated, very cozy and comfortable room. I was very impressed with the new room for the same price and the same excellent customer service as always. The hotel in general is very clean, the hallways and restaurant seem to be renovated too since last time I stayed. The restaurant has a delicious food, a few items in the menu could be a little bit expensive but most of them are good priced for a family dinner with options for all ages. Free complete breakfast, warm and cold. Overall, I'm very, very satisfied with this hotel and the prices. There is a Hampton Inn next to it where you have to pay as twice as much for almost the same room, I wouldn't waste my money on that one. I"m giving a A+ to Best Western hotel, we are planning to come back for Memorial Day weekend with the kids to enjoy the outdoor pool!!!

    « Going downhill »

    I have used this hotel many times in the past, for business and family, and anniversary get away. In the past it was very well maintained and clean. On this visit it looks and as though they have down graded. My room has an awful musty odor, the carpet has been replaced to bare floors that you can feel the dirt on as you walk. Trim moldings have been removed when removing the carpet and not replaced, even the door did not get finished for painting. Every thing in the room looks like somebody started to repair but just made worse!!The shower bars to steady yourself of help handicapped have also been removed.

I'm sorry that you did not get one of the finished renovated rooms. we're doing the improvements in different phases due to a high occupancy; floors, walls, furniture, lighting and bedding package. unfortunately, you stayed in a room that has not been fully yet.     We stopped by to sleep at this hotel on the way to NYC, NY. It's a nice to stay overnight with no carpet floor. Everything is perfect except all doors need to be replaced as they are worn out! Otherwise the hotel has nice bar, restaurant and some additional perks.

    the room was very cold need more handycap parking the pillows were to small drains were slow to drain the beds were to be queen but were not the breakfest was good service was not to par. the check in service was very poor i filled out the flor befor i go their and i needed to fillit out again

    Good hotel for the price. Great location. Comfortable beds. Housekeeping was a bit below expectations (completely skipped our room once and rarely gave us enough towels), but all other staff was very helpful.

    very poorly kept, reason it was so cheap, no one has enough money to care for the place or doesn't care about the presentation .I will never again stay at this location, nor recommend it and wish to forget my stay there ever happened.

    Updated rooms but no charging stations. Nice TV with sleep timer. Convenient to highway. Friendly staff. Great hot breakfast . Heat lamp in bathroom. No carpeting, heard walking upstairs. Would stay again.

    My wife and I have stayed here at least twice a year for the past several years and never had an issue or negative thing to say. That is until this stay when we had a terrible mattress on which we couldn't sleep. After the first night we asked for another room but instead were given a different mattress that was less uncomfortable. We have enjoyed staying here in the past but may have to look elsewhere going forward.

    This hotel was opened in 1960's, but has been refurbished to a nice clean motel. This was not expected to be a 5 star hotel, it was a value oriented stay. We were well satisfied with the amenities and the accommodations. When we arrived, the bed had a definite sag in it. After telling the front desk, it was fixed that same day. We requested an extra chair for the desk and it too was provided immediately that same day. Only other glitch was that refrigerator was not plugged in, which we didn't discover until the 2nd day. Based on my knowledge I fixed that myself. Staff was VERY helpful. I would stay here again in the future as service was the best part of the visit and the accommodations were quite satisfactory.

    I have stayed at many BW's and this is the best one yet. Very accommodating free hot breakfast buffet. Rooms appear to have been upgraded to include USB ports to charge electronics and bathrooms look new as well

    « Unpleasant experience »

    I booked a King room prior to arriving at this hotel. When I checked in, the woman at the front desk said nothing but sent us (and all of our luggage) walking to a room on the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the hotel. We arrived to find a room with 2 double beds. I called to the front, and the same woman said "Oh yeah, I know, but we don't have any more rooms with a king bed." She knew she wasn't giving me what I booked and chose to say nothing! When I told her I really needed the room that I booked, she magically found another room for us. Both rooms were filthy. The floors were gritty like they were covered in dirt. The tub/shower looked grimy. There was a huge dip in the bed. Breakfast was just okay. It was cold and shut down way before the times published at the facility. Although parking was free and easy and there was easy access to the highway, restaurants, gas, and grocery, I would not return.

    « Never again »

    I attended this hotel due to a class being offered at the same venue. The room smelt terribly of smoke and was a non smoking room. The room did not have any hand soap and when requested I was told I would get some the nest day, still waiting..... The hotel common areas were dirty. The staff working in the banquet area next to our training room were yelling and cursing, so much it drowned out our instructor.

    « Awesome stay and wonderful service! »

    I just wanted to take a moment and let anyone who is planning to stay here younger in for a wonderful experience! I travel quite a bit which allows/forces me to stay in hotels around 44 weeks out of the year! Yes that's correct! Anyways I've stayed here 3 times in the past 2 months and I've had just absolutely the best service and extremely clean rooms as wells as my needs met immediately if I happened to forget something (it was toothpaste for me but sure enough it waa delivered to my room in a superstar quality timeframe! Thanks and BIG shoutoit to Sue and Sharon in the mornings! Wow if it wasn't for them I really have to say the food wouldn't taste as good if they weren't there so I'm so appreciative when I see those two wonderful ladies in the mornings! So my hats off and congratulations to having a wonderful duo helping customers like me have a wonderful experience and would always come back here and recommend this hotel to all of my friends, colleagues, and of course family since that's how I feel I get treated here!     we found the 1st floor rooms convenient...you can go directly into the room from the outside and go out a back door in your room into the hotel lobby and breakfast area. They have a great breakfast buffet!

    « More like a moral. »

    Nice and friendly staff and ok facility. Rooms were outdated with items in poor condition (lamps, beds, shower). No quilt on bed - room was cold. Could hear guests Tab through he walls. Felt like a motel.

    « Great location and breakfast »

    Overall, this was a great option for our family. The location was perfect for us and I would say that the breakfast was probably one of the best we've had, for breakfasts that are included. My only disappointment was with the front desk staff. They did not seem terribly knowledgeable, accommodating, or friendly. We booked through hotels.com and that website said that the pet fee was $20 per stay. Once we arrived, we were informed that it is actually $20 (plus tax, so $22) per night. Also, there is an additional $25 deposit that we were unaware of. We had the Thanksgiving buffet here as well and it was very well done. I would definitely say that the hotel was a good value overall.

    « Great location. Has everything you need. »

    Comfortable stay. Hotel has all the amenities. Large fridge in room. Room was clean. Very friendly staff (with the exception of one security guard). Great location. Banquet food was outstanding and plentiful.

    « Heat Broken!! »

    Our heat was broken and we had our 6 month old baby with us. After carrying all our belongings with baby in tow, 2 rooms had the door latch on them. The 4th room was a success. Room itself (on the first floor) was a bit outdated and had hard floors, not carpet, for which I wasn't prepared. It was noisy; drunk guests in the hallways, slamming doors, etc.

    My fiance had tickets to a show at The Sands - but the resort was booked. This hotel was conveniently located; was economically priced; and the room was large. The breakfast buffet was deceny. Overall, though, there was just nothing special about the place.

    « Love the renovated rooms! »

    New wood laminate flooring looks great! Also love the increased height of your beds. Staff was super-courteous & Sonia in housekeeping was extra helpful in getting a safe shower chair for my hubby! Breakfast was delish & restaurant staff provided great service!

    « Horrible »

    Stayed here for one night, will not be coming back. Room was dirty and smelled dusty. Floor wasn't cleaned properly, for example there were pills on the floor from the last guests. The gym has one treadmill and one elliptical. Both were broken. All I wanted was a clean room and a gym. This hotel has neither. Plenty of other hotels in the area, next time we will stay somewhere else.

    « Needs new management, dirty »

    I booked 3 rooms for my father in law's 85 birthday. After multiple attempts to get checked in, lasting 4 hours, our room was not cleaned after a messy guest. We were not the only ones. We waited in the lobby and in the dirty hallway for 2 more hours. Finally at 10 pm, we were able to get into our rooms. Words cannot the chaos surrounding this event. Whoever is in charge of this place, must be replaced. We now officially have dubbed this chain Worst Western and will never stay here. I stay in approximately 50 hotels per year and I have never seen anything like this.

    Excellent service and staff was extremely helpful. Food was the best I can remember having for Breakfast and Dinner. Would highly recommend this hotel. Only drawback is they need lower beds in the rooms. Way too high especially for handicap..

    My girlfriend and I come to get away for awhile and have a girls weekend. The hotel has everything that we need to have a good time, including a restaurant and club. The staff is always accommodating and friendly!!

    No carpets in rooms. Not clean. Noisy heat/cooling unit. NOT SECURE - people got into our room in the middle of the night - they had given our room away while we were in it. Poor window dressings light flooded the room at night. Poor choice of bed coverings. Overall not what we expected.

    This building did not appear to have been upgraded or cleaned properly since the 80's. We had stayed here on several occasions in the 80's nod now the dirt and film on everything seemed to hold it together. It either needs to be bulldozed or massive overall and should be condemned until properly taken care of.

    « 10-18-17 Checkin was quick with a smile, but dinner wait staff... hmm »

    Check in for me was easy and served with a smile. Starving after a long drive. I waited just inside the dining room Over 15 minutes never once did the wait staff acknowledge me. They would walk by and not even look my way.. until finally the front desk clerk came in and kindly suggested going to the bar to order. (Thank you to the gentleman who told her I had been patiently waiting) fortunately the bartender was sweet and helpful even though she was clearly busy busy. Maybe your hotel should put up a sign saying seat yourself or order at the bar.. Oh and Not sure what the guy behind the bar was doing but he could have tried acknowledging or offering assistance to any of the guests. But perhaps he didn't work there. Tip, Often times just being acknowledged a guest will happily wait a few more minutes. Room was fine. There was a St. Bernard dog show was taking place so I was thankful to get a room. Large hotel plenty of parking. Easy in and out of location. One other issue was no breakfast to go. Many of us are driving cross county and need to take a small breakfast to go that we have paid for in our room rate. For any guest a breakfast to go is nothing for the hotel but brownie points and possible repeat customers. Btw stopped at another exit for coffee and at Aldi Chambersburg Pa for food, it's an A+ Aldi store. Thank you again front desk and bartender.

    Nice hotel for a reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were in the progress of being updated, and new Pergo floors were a plus. Beds and pillows leave a lot to be desired, and there was no lotion for some reason (it's PA in Fall, so my skin was really dry, and the lotion was noticeably absent). But overall a good stay.

    « Mostly good, but some bad »

    We were here for 8 days, for a dog show. Excellent free breakfast, very reasonable rates, nice space for an outdoor dog show, but a major inconvenience when you're older: there are no elevators. We also packed lightly, expecting to do laundry, but the guest laundry facilities are next door at another motel, so it was very inconvenient. Nothing fancy, but the room is clean and everything works.

    Took 2 hours for us to check even though we had provided a window on express check-in. Room Layout was nice and room had everything we needed . Housekeeping staff was excellent but could have used or had more help on hand for the number of guests that were there.

    East year my wife and I spend 1 October - 15 October at the Best Western in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Each year we experience a very wonderful stay at the facility. Those who make our stay so wonderful are Miss Martha, Miss Judy, Miss Sue, the "New" Hotel Manager, and the gentleman in charge of the dinning, along with the staff. These are very wonderful people, and a valuable asset to the Best Western Hotel! Please reserve room # 109 for we will see all y'all again next year! One final note, their breakfast is SUPERB!

    Stayed here one night while in town. There was 2 people ahead of us to check in and about 4 behind us and the front desk staff was still friendly upbeat and very welcoming even though they had to be overwhelmed. The hotel had 2 places to eat. The thing I loved most is that it didn't smell like a hotel. It smelled fresh and clean that was a huge plus for me. Our room was great. I LOVED that there was no carpet in the room. Made it feel very very clean. Beds were comfy. Pillows were small squares and not rectangles which was different. The only minus I have were the sheets. The beds do not have comforters they just have 2 sheets and a blanket. I like fluff while I sleep and this was just not comfortable or warm. Very stiff. Otherwise room was very very clean. Bathroom was clean. The remote didn't work but we just used the tv buttons so it was fine. Would absolutely stay here again when in town

    I stayed at the Best Western LV over the Summer while attending a wedding. The staff from the front desk, to the wait staff during the reception, to the security staff, bar tenders & dj in the club were courteous, respectful, & took pride in their work. The Bar With No Name is bombarded with additional guests after wedding receptions come to an end. The staff remains as helpful & respectful as they are in the beginning of the night. They don't tolerate any BS & keep the club & hotel safe. I returned in September to visit the club, & was sad to see a different dj. Not sure were DJ Ivo was from when I was there back in July. Maybe he just had that Saturday night off, but he made the visit during the Summer seem as though the party didn't stop just because the wedding reception had ended. Thank you Best Western LV staff, & DJ Ivo for an awesome celebration.

    « No Sleep! »

    This hotel is being refurbished - people were painting in the halls at night! The new floor choice for the rooms - plastic laminate is not visually appealing and is cold The heater has cold air leaks all around it and is very noisy - not installed correctly. The individual rooms on the ground floor have outside doors that you must use the deadbolt to keep them closed! No elevator for the second floor! I filled in a pre arrival registration on line that they sent - the desk clerk had no knowledge of them sending them out. I had requested a 3:00 pm arrival time that was not honored. Hard beds and noisy heater = NO SLEEP!!!

    i stay at hotels 2-3 times a week for work. i work at night and sleep during the day. when i got to my room there wasn't a do not disturb sign so i asked the front desk for one. they didn't have any but said they would have one brought to my room. i went to my room and went to sleep assuming they would hang it on the door, nope, they slid it under the door. i almost had a heart attack when housekeeping almost knocked the door down trying to get in to clean the room. that's when the construction on the room next to me started and lasted til 7:00pm....all i heard all day was loud banging and hammering, it sounded like they were gonna come thru the wall at any second. why u would put someone in a room that u know sleeps during the day next to a room scheduled for renovation is beyond me.

    Requested and promised early checking for a wedding. Once arrived, early check in was not available creating some aggravation thinking we wouldn't t be able to get cleaned up on time for the wedding. After a significant wait and asked another front desk attendant and they got me in early. Stairs and hallway were dirty. Long hairs were on my so called clean sheets.

    We were only here for one evening. Richard Sanchez at the front desk was extremely welcoming. Our room was clean and inviting. The refrigerator was very cold, something we don't often find in hotel rooms. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, served by a most pleasant waitress. The bed was very comfy, tv and channel selection fine. Breakfast was outstanding. There was something for everyone on that buffet. Highly recommend!

    I stayed at this hotel before and decided to stay here again when I had to travel to the area to take care of some family matters. I am very happy with the Best Western hotels in general. I had a huge room that was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious; different options every day. The front desk people were very accommodating. I had a potential issue due to Hurricane Irma and they were willing to help me out, even though the potential issue did not materialize. The hotel has a great restaurant as well. I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay.

    The facility is worn out and understaffed. The staff that has been there awhile is what keeps me coming back. Old habits die hard and the location is very good for reaching my clients. I can only hope they invest in cleaning and updating and staffing it correctly in the service areas.

    « Stay at the Hampton Inn next door... »

    We were forced to stay at this facility due to terms and conditions of a sports tournament our son was participating in locally. The online reviews were so bad that we looked into switching hotels, but ultimately did not. We learned that parts of the motel (yes its is more motel than hotel) had been recently renovated, so we made sure to request a renovated room. Once we checked in and arrived at the room, we found the room to be marginally acceptable, but it was obvious that "renovated" meant a (really) cheap bathroom makeover, a coat of paint, and new vinyl flooring. We stayed the one night, and left the next day. Had I been able to book elsewhere I would have (there is a nice Hampton Inn about 50 yards away).

    It was an ok place to stay, a little dirty. Outside pool was the best part. The mirror light keeped turning off and on all night the first night. I slepted maybe two hours with pillow over face. Reported it the next morning. Was going to say something about the dirty room but I figured if they fixed the light that was a plus. Asked for a roll away never received one. Had to ask for bedding and pillows for the couch for my kids. I know they were working on updates in other rooms, will be nice when all rooms are clean and up to date... our room had stained carpet by the act unit and had a musty smell. Bathroom was nice size.

    « In need of renovation »

    We were given a room on the first floor, with direct access to the internal courtyard with the swimming pool The room was clean enough, but run-down and smelly of mold. The bathroom door didn't close, it looks like it had bulged because of the humidity and it didn't fit the frame anymore. Many plugs weren't working. On the bright side, the staff had always been helpful, and the breakfast buffet was truly excellent. The location, just off the highway, is very convenient for visiting the area. If they renovate their rooms, possibly getting rid of the smelly wall to wall carpeting, I would certainly recommend it to travelers in the Bethlehem area.

    « Friendly staff and nice b'fast make up for a well-worn exterior »

    Check in was easy. We stayed in Room 237 and it took less than one second for me to think about Danny in the shining! That aside, this is a great location in Bethlehem, right off the highways 80/209/33. Breakfast was very nice as this is a restaurant with hot food organized professionally in chafing dishes and very attentive and friendly breakfast staff keeping counters clean and cleared and food sufficiently available. No plastic, paper or foam here. Silverware and porcelain, just like in a catering hall. Check out was just as easy. Added bonus and we're a bit jealous - Wegman's is right across the street. Our closest is 20 miles from home. Fabulous supermarket especially for travelers like us that were canoeing later and needed a nice lunch to pack the cooler. Parking is ample, safe and well-lit. Only digs - HVAC a little loud and somehow we all woke up earlier than needed since we were all too warm with the thermostat set to 74. Curious since we were comfortable all other times. Worst is the faucets. Two sinks in our room; one in and one outside the lavatory. These faucets must date from 1971 or so - older than the hotel somehow. It takes two hands to work this junk. Would be a nice and inexpensive upgrade for this BW to consider.

    Computers not online for 1st half hour there. Left to wait in lobby. Reservation not documented properly. Reserved a king bed. Received a room with 2 double beds. Both beds extremely uncomfortable. Out of control kids running in hallway most of the night. Food was cold when served at bar and restaurant. Seemed pretty run down for what they charge.

    I have stayed here many times before. Convenient location, good breakfast and helpful staff. The only problem this time was problem with the keys getting into the room. It seems there were 2 entrances, one to the parking lot and and internal door. For some reason the keys did not work on the exterior door. I noticed that another guest was experiencing a similar problem.

    Glad to read that they're renovating, because our room was not great. The air conditioner was incredibly loud, but on the plus side, it might have blocked the noise coming through the paper-thin walls. The room was clean enough but the acoustic-tile dropped ceiling was depressing. No complaints with the staff or the free breakfast.

    Could get to bed as could hear very loud adults talking in another room - not sure if below or beside me - that isn't hotel's fault tho. There was what looked like some blackish mildew on the shower curtain. No exhaust in shower and one morning my smoke alarm went off from the steam of taking hot shower. And when I went to go to bed the 1st night my foot found an empty chewing gum box... and thought I pray to God these are clean sheets. No exhaust in shower

    Have stayed at this location several times. There have been many improvements to the facility and rooms in the past 2 years. On each visit there is more evidence of their hard work. The hot breakfast is a definite delight! Great hot coffee, juice, eggs, toast, muffins, bacon or sausage, and even blueberry blintzes! just the right way to start the new day.

    The customer service was very good. The in-house restaurant and bar was very convenient and the food was good. Lobby seems to be updates. However, overall the guest areas and rooms could use an update. It's an older hotel. Price was very reasonabl.

    When I first got the hotel, and walked into the lobby, I thought to myself, ?this is nice?. When we checked in I had asked the receptionist if we can get a room that is away from noise due to the fact that we were in town for an annual Wrestling tournament and I wanted to make sure the kids got good sleep. Walking to our room we stopped to see the pool and also thought it was very nice. Walking through the halls it looked a little gloomy, when we walked in to our room there was s musty type smell throughout the whole room. The bathtub was disgusting so much so that I personal went to the nearby target and bought cleaning supplies to clean it myself and I sprayed the room with febreeze. I told myself, my husband and kids, ?Its only for one night we can deal with it? On my reservation, I had requested a rollaway bed. I tried to use the phone in my room to get ahold of the front desk and they picked up and hung up on me this happened twice. Finally, I walked to the front desk and told the red-haired receptionist and she told me that she would have maintenance bring it to me. She looked as if she did not want to serve me and as if I was annoying her. I ignored it. Time went by and the rollaway bed still wasn't in my room so again I tried to call the front desk and the same thing kept happening. A woman would pick up and hang up. So, I walked to the front desk and the same lady informed me that she had not forgotten about me and that maintenance was bringing something to another room and he would then bring the bed to my rom. I asked her if I could get two additional towels and she said she will have the maintenance man bring it when he brings the bed. I walked back to my room and a shortly after the maintenance man brought the bed to my room with the towels so I was content. While the kids showered to get to bed I pulled out the roll away bed and as soon as one of the kids laid on the roll away bed. it fell staring to the floor. If it wasn't for the mattress my nephew would've hit his head on the floor hard. I tried to call the front desk and I guess the phone was not working because the receptionist would pick up and hang up. Every time I went to the front she looked aggravated to see me. They also had a wedding going on and was probably busy, with this being the tournament hotel, I get it, however the customer services was HORRIBLE! On my way to the front yet again regarding the broken rollway bed I ran into the maintenance man. He looked like he had been running around like a mad man. I felt bad to bother him but I really needed a bed that was not broken. I told him about the broken rollaway bed and he seemed to know exactly what I was talking about regarding the bed as if he knew it was broken when he brought it to me. He asked me the room again and I told him. He told me that he would bring me a knew one and take that one away. I asked so there's no need for me to walk all the way to front desk again and he said no. I was grateful for that. About two hours had gone buy and still no bed I tried calling the front desk and again they kept hanging up on me. I was so frustrated at that point that I ended up taking the mattress of the bed and putting it on the floor which is where my nephew slept that night. We had the worse sleep ever, all we heard was car doors slamming, people talking both outside and in the hallways at all hours of the night. The noises were just unbearable! So much so that we all woke up so tired from the lack of sleep. My kids slept a little at the tournament in-between matches. The next morning, we woke up and ate breakfast, which I must say was the best part of the stay. It was fresh and delicious. The staff in the breakfast area was very friendly, especially this one small Spanish lady. As we checked out the lady in the front just took my room keys, she did not ask me how my stay was, she did not ask me if I wanted a receipt. She seemed in a rush to get rid of me. We stay in about 15 hotels though out every year due to tournaments my children do. I've stayed in many different hotels including Best Western, and I must say I will NEVER stay at this one again. It was the worse to date! I will be up again next year the annual Wrestling Tournament and will be choosing a different hotel. I do not like giving bad review, I'd rather just give good ones or just brush things off, however the experience in this hotel was so bad that I could just not let it go. We always go up with a big group for these tournaments and will recommended that they go elsewhere as well.

    Been going to this hotel for years! Only hotel in area with large outside pool. Always go to the Music Festival in August and my friends all stay here! Nothing fancy but a weekend getaway hotel. Rooms need a little loving care (updating} but it will work for a weekend. Hotel employees and front desk are always smiling, helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is really pretty good and fresh and plenty to eat. Security is good and notice they drive around the property at night.If your use to staying at the Ritz or high end Hotels this place isn't for you. They also have a Bar, restaurant and DJ on weekends. Plus they cater weddings! This place won't hurt your wallet or pocketbook. Would recommend staying here if your not a Snob!

    As of this writing (August 2017) the hotel is in a process of renovation. Some of our people were in the older rooms and not satisfied. Those of us in the renovated rooms thought the place was pretty nice and a good value overall. Restaurant was fine but menu is limited. Breakfast was fine. I had a tablet and a phone hooked to the wi-fi without a glitch. Pool is way above the average for a mid-price hotel. We'll be back.

    « Bulldoze this hotel and start over »

    Take a bulldozer to it and and start over. The most moldy room I've ever stayed in. Maid service skipped over my room one of the days. Everything is worn out and frazzled. The "renovation" going on is just replacing flooring in the rooms. Furnishing like drawers falling apart are not being redone. TV channels are pixelated so bad you can't watch. I've stayed in hotels for 50 years from 1 star to 5 star. The bottom end not by choice but by things like availability during a blizzard. I can remember one or two worse than this one, but that's all.

    They screwed up my reservation, and made me feel like it was my fault--even though I had written and voicemail confirmation from them. Also, room smelled like paint and gave off terrible fumes, maid service was incomplete--didn't refresh soap, and only left one clean bath towel.

    « NEVER Again! Disgusting! »

    I will say that the lobby where you check in looks very nice and the room we had (107) had a very nice shower, There was good water pressure and the tub was not slippery. There were safety bars to hold on to and they had body wash, conditioner & shampoo mounted on the shower wall. The conditioner, however, was watery and ran out on me. And there was a bar of soap left in the shower so I do not know if the shower was even cleaned! The paint was also peeling off the ceiling in the shower.There were 3 bath towels for a room with 2 double beds. Since it was just my husband and me that was perfect. One of the skimpy towels had stains on it. There is a sink/mirror outside the bathroom as well. We did not stay in the room my husband reserved online because it was on the 2nd floor. He had reserved a room with a king bed. (My husband made the reservation thru Expedia and there was no place to request 1st floor) We needed to be on 1st floor due to medical issues and they had sold out all of the king rooms on 1st floor. They gave us a room with 2 beds and said they were queen. THEY WERE NOT!We did have a room with outdoor and indoor access and that was nice. We could back up right to the door to unload and then in the morning we did not have to go outside to get the complimentary breakfast. Their breakfast was the typical free breakfast, however, the juice was so watered down I gave it back to them. As we walked into the room the first thing we noticed was the frayed carpet on the baseboard. Next the size of the beds and the fact that the bed skirts did not fit the bed. Also the bed closest to the door was a good 6 inches off center so it was not in line with the headboard. My husband easily moved it back but that is not the point! The chair in the corner had a black stripe type stain. Another good thing is that the desk for your computer is not on top of the A/C unit. We looked up @ the ceiling and we could see multiple places where it had obviously been repaired. We also noticed that there was not a curtain. there were sheers and a sun blocker panel but no curtain. I have submitted 12 pictures to show the things I have mentioned but I am not sure if they uploaded correctly.

I'm sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations but on a sold out weekend it's impossible for us to put everyone on the first floor so it's based on availability. I'm sorry that you found the room unacceptable; I can assure you that our housekeepers work very hard to keep our guestrooms clean and in good working order, unacceptable rooms is not the standard at our hotel.     The pool was wonderful. The staff was excellent. The rooms were okay, but for four of us we weren't given towels and washcloths for everyone, and didn't notice until we were too tired to ask for more. And the sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable and there was no blanket for the kids. Fortunately we had brought beach towels with us.

    « Don't ask for anything cause you'll never get it!! »

    Asked for extra blankets twice never got them. Staff not friendly specially at breakfast! There is a bar in the hotel that is very loud & makes check in at night a challenge! Let alone the drunks stumbling around your children!

    « Worse thing I've ever seen »

    We arrived for a group function on 8/2/17. Found the first room 297 to be damp, musty, very bad smell. Looked in the bathroom, hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. Carpeting stained. Went to desk switched to 143, it was worse. Mold in corners of bathroom, floors again dirty, First thing the outside door had been left unlocked. The room was dirty, and shabby. Bedding was meager minimal covering over mattress, 3 16" square pillows not bed pillows to sleep on. Worn beat up furnishings, Molding, floor covering worn looking, 2" of water immediately outside, the outer door, and the inner door was old, chewed up on bottom, needed planing badly, could not close the door it did not fit into the door frame. It grated loudly with each entry and exit. Hallway carpets were filthy, we passed a storage room, dirty mattresses stacked to the ceiling, floor was filthy with junk strewn all over the floor, door was left opened so we could see right in. This was also in the first floor hall where the hotels rooms were. More mattresses stuck out into hallway along with large pieces of equipment. Conference rooms were dirty, and musty. 4 different sized buckets and containers in the main hall below leaking pipes. Most poorly maintained motel/hotel we've ever seen.

    « Great potential but needs upgraded »

    The staff was excellent in every way and aspect of serving the public. It was rather apparent that the hotel needed to be upgraded since the rooms seemed rather run-down in terms of the furniture and bathroom. Our room smelled rather musty. The pool was exceptional but had a lot of debris on the bottom. Please check to see if any teams are booking the hotel during your stay. Unfortunately, the Little League had booked the hotel so we spent two sleepless nights as the children ran yelling and unsupervised throughout the building at all hours of the night and day. The second floor had the constant sound of running feet as they played tag up and down the hallways. I felt sorry for the other guests and the staff. It was clearly a parental and administrative lack of control. All hotels should have some type of plan in place for such occasions or, at a minimum, tell potential customers the situation. Also, be aware the rate changes daily and can go from $80. - $115. overnight. Ours went up three days in a row. The complimentary breakfast was excellent the first day but seemed to get smaller as the week progressed. The restaurant served a varied menu; however, it was pricey if you have a family.

    All the comforts of home while away. Continental breakfast that is beyond excellent and employees that are always available to help. Plus he free WIFI which works way better that most hotels. I have stayed here a couple times throughout the years and the location is the best.

    « dirty rooms, bad maid service »

    This hotel has gone down hill...our rooms were dirty, the maid never came in to clean, beds were not made. The desk offered to come in and clean, no one ever showed up. DO NOT STAY HERE...we have stayed there in the past and each time has gotten worse.....again, find another location.

    Great hotel for our event, The National Chrysler Products Club (NCPC) National Meet. Excellent grounds for car show with plenty of parking and show parking on grass with shade. Good banquet facility with excellent food and a great wait staff. Could have had a nicer lounge area. Drinks were a bit expensive. Room cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel was very good. I would stay here again.

    I was shocked to see the hotel was half motel. It was not disclosed on the website anywhere. It presents itself as a resort, which it should not. The lobby is also deceiving, it is not until after you check in and go to drive to the recommended entrance that you see the motel features. The hallways have and odor, and the roof in the restaurant leaks when it rains, the water if caught in pots and pans from the kitchen. The staff however is very friendly and helpful.

    My stay was very satisfactory stay. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The room was well supplied, and the Internet functioned properly. There is a great outdoor swimming pool. The staff is efficient and friendly. The location is easy to find.

    very outdated hotel, no elevators to the rooms. Paid a little to much for what it was worth. Dried blood stain on one the sheets. Beds smaller than a queen size. Wifi kept missing up all the time. Beds not as comfortable as I would have liked. Breakfast was good, either wise did not like it and would not be staying there again.

    Very outdated, not as clean as it should be. One of the beds had a dried blood stain on the sheets. The beds were not comfortable and definently smaller than a queen size bed. Not worth the amount of money we paid. Wifi was not good.The breakfast was the only thing good about the stay.

    Hotel has good outside appearance and lobby, but room is disappointing. Cobwebs on the crown molding. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom satisfactory. Don't stay in room 125 (side door, which you DO NOT need a key to get into after hours--security??? slamming at all hours of the night and early morning) or room 127 (ice and vending machines). Great outdoor swimming pool. Staff don't seem to have the info on simple questions. If you leave your pajamas on the bed, the maid will not make the bed when coming in to service the room.

    Stayed for softball tournament July 14-16. Breakfast was fine. Takeout from restaurant was good. Pool. Nightclub. Bar. Restaurant. Good Italian a mile away. Fairly convenient. Not a bad spot. Rooms and hallways not as nice as they could be. Staff very friendly.

    « Nice Clean Hotel »

    We stayed at this hotel 2 nights along with another couple who travel with us. My husband and I went to the NASCAR race and the other couple stayed at the hotel all day and hung out around the pool all day. It was a nice, clean hotel and was convenient to shopping and area restaurants. We would stay there again.

    « Kids. Lots of kids. »

    Pool was full of kids. Great if you have kids. Kids loud & running down halls. OK if you don't mind the putter patter of little feet and the laughing & screaming of little voices. The restaurant food was less than acceptable, unless you have kids & want only chicken fingers, fries, nachos, burgers, etc.

    Clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Not new but in decent shape. If just sleeping good place. Pool was amazing. We were by an exit door on the first floor. I thought it would be slamming all night long but it was really quiet.

    The automated survey system requires me to enter a review, even though I gave them a terrible rating. Seems stupid. The signage is not clear from the outside as to which building is actually the Best Western (there are several other hotels in the vicinity - stay someplace else!).

    A very pretty location with great grounds. expeditious check in and check out. Well designed guest room with adequate space. Quiet restful nights sleep and a reasonable breakfast. would definitely stay again on our trips to and from New England

    « Disappointing for Best Western, other less expensive options in the area »

    The good news is that staff is courteous, professional and go out of their way to help. The breakfast provided was satisfactory and in a lovely restaurant setting. Unfortunately, however, the overall stay was a disappointment and had I known, I would have opted for a less expensive option in the area. This property definitely did not meet our expectations, and fell well below the quality we are used to with previous Best Western hotels. It looks as though BW took over this property from a previous hotel....the interior hotel rooms and the overall hotel appearance indicate a desperate need for renovation and repair. The plexi-glass windows that look out on the pool are old and difficult to view through, and the entire facility could use a facelift. The rooms are outdated, which could be overlooked if the beds and accommodations were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. But the AC unit was extremely noisy, and the mattresses and pillows were incredibly lumpy, which provided for a long restless night. The interior hallways are dark, dingy, and carry a pungent odor. I suppose this is to hide the cigarette smell, because although signs are posted, the policy is not enforced, as we saw people smoking at the pool and in the courtyard. Furthermore, the computer, printer, along with 2 of the 3 pieces of exercise equipment in the fitness center were out of order. When asked, they had been out for several days, and the front desk attendant said she did not know who to call to get these issues addressed. I hope that you will find this feedback useful. There are plenty of hotel options in the area at competitive rates.

    « Great Place To Stay! »

    We need to stay in a hotel overnight, each time my husband needs work on his eyes, nearby this hotel. We have stayed there at least 6 times, and each time is great. The breakfast buffet is wonderful - make your own waffles, eggs, sausages, toast, English muffins, bagels, and great coffee! The rooms are spacious and clean. The desk staff is very helpful and accommodating. Right now, we are not in need of this hotel, but if we need it in the future, we would not hesitate to return to it, again and again. It is not a new hotel, but kept very well. There is, however, no elevator to the second floor, so older folk may wish to ask for a first floor room.

    Many complaints : housekeeping did not fill up empty shower containers (liquid bath soap, shampoo) - no kleenex refilled - no fan or exhaust in bathroom. Poor TV service and remote. toilet flushed with difficulty. Bed pillows too hard and too small!

    « BEWARE!! »

    Front desk employees were extremely unprofessional. My room (288) was on the other side of the hotel and had to drive or walk with all my luggage for 10 minutes. Hallways and rooms wreaked of mildew. (They concentrate more on the catering and hall rentals and club than the actual hotel rooms) My television was broken, called front desk 5x until someone FINALLY picked up and was nasty. Breakfast was cold, I mean this had to be literally the worst hotel experience I've ever had and to add insult to injury it was my tenth wedding anniversary!!

    « no elevator and strong oders »

    Stayed 1 night for a lacrosse tournament. The hotel was in close proximity to the University but we were not told upon booking there was no elevator to which they placed us on the 2nd floor and when you walked into the lobby it had a very unusual smell of pine which was not pleasant. The lobby was dirty and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while in fact the entire hotel was not very clean. We had to lug our luggage up to the 2nd floor and upon entering the floor we encountered a strong smell of cigarette smoke which the hotel is considered non-smoking. The room needless to say was very outdated as well as the bathroom. Also, we were woken after midnight by very loud and obnoxious patrons following a wedding at the hotel. With having to get up early the next morning for our sporting event this was not pleasant. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

    « Overnight stay »

    Place was very nice from the outside. Reception was wonderful and workers there extremely nice. The room itself was clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you turned over. The air stopped working and the manager came up immediately and fixed it. The bathroom was ok. Not the greatest. The outdoor pool are is great. My kids had a blast. Overall, we had a nice experience and would stay again.

    This is our third stay in as many years. It's an older hotel that's a bit down-at-the-heels but well maintained with great features: large outdoor pool and deck, friendly staff, cooked complimentary breakfast without styrofoam, and parking convenient to rooms. Off highway and quiet.

    Outdated decor, grumpy staff and cold food. If you are looking for great customer service, beautiful decor and easy check in and check out, this is not your hotel! The staff told me all about their migraine headaches and problems with their children. They also complained about their work schedules. They did not tell me what the hotel had to offer or what kind of activities there were to do in the area.

    « Overall very good but needs tweeking! »

    Most of the staff very warm & friendly but check in was marred by clerk telling me I didn't have enough reward points for free stay on an already confirmed reservation. Asked for quiet room, was given one over the parking lot instead of the court yard. AC missing instructions on how to use. Free Breakfast & dinning room staff were wonderful. Should extend breakfast time till 11am so vacationers can really relax & enjoy their noon checkout. Next door to Hampton Inn & you can use their indoor pool. Beautiful grounds,convenient location. Would probably stay there again but would learn from my/their mistakes.

    « Convenient location off Rt 22 »

    I stayed here while taking a 2 day course for work in Bethlehem. The location was within 5 minutes and was easy to get to. The hotel was clean but dated and the restaurant was vacant while all others in the area were packed. I ate there anyway since it was late and would not recommend it.

    During the past year, every time I have had to stay at this hotel it has not been a good experience. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, someone was smoking marijuana in the room beside be, and the last time the motel was full of dogs that barked and howled all night--along with the smelly hallways.

    Easy access and lots of parking. Nearby Wegman's (huge). We actually walked to Wegman's and Thai restaurant (Red Chili's) but would recommend driving as there are not sidewalks for most of the walk. Hotel has the usual amenities and breakfast items. The information printout at check in is very helpful. All in all a good option and certainly well priced.

    « Smelly Hotel »

    Couldn't get over the smell of this hotel. Mold, or spoiled food, dirty carpet? water damage? It reeked of Febreeze, like they were trying to cover the odor up. It was the worst in the breakfast area! Eeeuww! Not enough staff. Front desk needed more people. Room wasn't ready even at 4p.

    Average Best Western Hotel. Offers breakfast which is decent, allows pets but does not control barking of dogs in guest rooms. Also, the rooms have a good quality bed, but the housekeeping staff need to vacuum better when cleaning the rooms and fully replace linens in the bathroom.

    We like Best Western generally due to in-room amenities and overall quality/comfort. However there were some intractable problems: #1) The biggest problem was : NO ELEVATOR so we had to hand carry all our baggage up the stairs and to the room. #2) American pointer club dog show so there were more dog guests than humans. The first night we had to change rooms to distance ourselves from some particularly loud barkers! This #2 problem could have indirectly led to a sickeningly overpowering deodorant smell in the lobby and halls. We liked the breakfast and location. We maybe would return if they add an elevator and it is not dog week.

    Good pet friendly location...$20 per night fee..loved that each room had 2 entrances, one into lobby, but other directly outside. Made it easy to take dogs in and out. Each room had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Furniture dated, but clean. On site restaurant was ok, but close to a lot of places.5 miles to the Sands casino as we as quaint downtown area. 10 miles to Promenade Outlets. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Would go back if area again

    Got a group rate while attending my husband's college reunion. I don't know what the regular rate is, but we got a great deal on a king room with breakfast buffet. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again.

    « Price and personel are worth the dated decor »

    Even though the hotel is a little dingy in its appearance, it was quiet and comfortable, had a great complimentary breakfast and a responsive staff. Special thanks to Bill, the young man in the maintenance dept who came immediately to change the flapper in my toilet so it wouldn't keep running. That guaranteed me a better night of sleep and saved the hotel thousands of dollars in water costs.

    Make sure you ask for a room away from the bar. Very noisy. The breakfast room is very neat, clean and the food is excellent. It is well worth the stay. The room was average, but also very neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. It was right of the interstate and was easy to get to. It also was very close to restaurants in the area.

    Our second time staying at this hotel. It has easy access of Hwy 22 and fits in with our drive from Florida to Nova Scotia (we take the I-78 to the 287 to the 87 to get to I-84 east.) Rooms are fine, comfortable, and the hotel is pet friendly. Breakfast was included and was a combo of hot & cold buffet - was good. Will stay there next year as well.

    « Smelly and scary, do not stay here »

    The people at the front desk were lovely and very accommodating. However, we should have driven away when we saw several rooms with the doors open and people spilling out into the side walk on one side and into the courtyard on the other - all talking loudly, drinking and smoking in the middle of the afternoon. Sadly we didn't. We were in a non smoking hall that smelled like a frat and our room clealry had recently been smoked in- there was so much icky sweet air freshener we barely could breathe. We opened the door to the courtyard to get some fresh air in and were inundated with cigarette smoke. Drunk people carrying booze were stumbling down the hall all afternoon and early evening. Things quieted down about 10 to our relief but at 4 the guy in the room across the hall from us slammed his door and came pounding on our neighbor's door, screaming at him to open it. He went back and forth numerous times yelling all the while. They went out to the courtyard to smoke which came seeping into our room, got lost and started pounding on my door to be let in. I tried to call the front desk but our room phone did not work and my cell was out of juice. I cracked open the door to politely ask them to keep it down at 5 am and the guy swore at me and proceeded to make even more noise. I would have called 911 if I could have, it was really frightening. To be fair, when I went to complain in daylight, they did not charge me for the room- they initially offered to take half off but I was not willing to pay anything. BUT there is no way this kind of behavior should be tolerated in a hotel, given prior comments, (which were posted after I booked) clealry noise has been is an issue there. Since they don't have security cameras,they should have someone walk the halls occasionally at night to keep an eye out. Go somewhere else where you can get a safe, full night sleep and not feel like you have spend 8 hours in a smelly, smoky bar. I will never stay at a Best Western again. Beware.

    We had an Average room. Mine smelled of smoke. One of the beds squeaked terribly. It was noisy but I did like the down and out room. Could have been cleaner. Breakfast was ok and the coffee good. If someone had checked for odor and the bed it would have been better

    Great hotel - stay there many times a year - this was an exception to the usual great stay - very noisy - too much noisy to sleep at 2:30 in the morning - finally calmed down at about 4:00AM - lots of kids and young adults running up and down the corridors

    While the hotel is econimal, it is very out dated. Their rooms are worn and not very well cleaned. The heat and one of the sinks were broken in my room. I asked for extra blankets to resolve heat issue and the front desk agent said I will see what I can do.

    This is an older hotel in need of some updates. The one thing that stood out was the odor in the room (musty, moldy smell). Otherwise the room seemed to be clean. Although I got a refund for my dinner, don't get the meatloaf at the restaurant-it was terrible! The breakfast was very good.

    « Wedding Night »

    I had a block of 30 rooms. The staff was uneducated and had no idea what they were doing. During the booking process many of my guests were told the block was full or that the block wasn't available any more. When we made the block they had us in 15 smoking room and 15 non smoking rooms. We requested all non smoking rooms. She then informed us that they didn't even have non smoking rooms. After several emails with constant wrong contracts, we wrote our own contract and sent it to Best Western. Upon arrival guests were given 4 dirty rooms before a clean one, one of our guests had a bed collapse, the bride and groom were given the wrong room along with other guests as well!!! If it wasn't for Martha in the sales department in Bethlehem I doubt that my guests would have even been able to make reservations. I would never stay again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Besides Martha, everyone else needs to be replaced or reevaluated.

    I'm pretty picky about hotel rooms, I prefer new and clean. I was hesitant about picking this hotel but we were on a serious budget. I couldn't believe how nice the staff was, how spacious and clean the room (and bathroom) was. If I'm back in the area I'd stay here again even if we weren't on a tight budget - doesn't make sense to pay more when you can stay here. WiFi worked great, room was very quiet (2nd floor) and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nicely displayed in the restaurant with courteous staff on hand to help you out with anything needed. There is a bar on site that was hopping when we arrived around 10:30 pm - wish we had known and planned better, would have been great to enjoy a fun night with only a walk up to our room.

    « Low cost, you need low expectations »

    Checked in, front desk person was nice, but tired because she was called back into work. Room-had these thin tacky, gold colored things as the cover of the bed. Underneath was a very thin wool blanket that didn't even match. The other bed had a totally different blanket underneath, so there was no comfort in the bed. Bathroom- I've been traveling a lot and for short trips I usually just use the hotels toiletries. Well they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers on the wall, conditioner did not work. No water pressure, the tub was one of those bath fitters but wasn't fit right so everywhere you stepped, it crackled under you. I had the do not disturb sign on my door until 1:00 and left the room. Came back at 3:30 it still wasn't clean. I called the front desk and they said they would get someone up to me. I again left the room and came back at 6:00, room was not cleaned! I called again and they apologized and said it would be taken care of ASAP. So I sat in my car for an hour. Went back in, not clean! I decided to just check out. I packed everything up and left and complained to the staff. They were very nice and apologetic. Will not stay there again

    « Another satisfying experience here. »

    We almost always stay at a Best Western Hotel when travelling. This is one of the nicest we have stayed at. The breakfast far exceeds the others we have stayed at. We have had good service everywhere, but this one still tops them. The location is ideal for getting on and off major highways. It is easy to locate and parking is usually plentiful. The rooms are decent and clean. Amenities are adequate for our purposes. Good management.

    « Nice Hotel »

    The room is nice, clean, large, and has all of the usual appliances, including a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, and a full-sized ironing board and iron. The free breakfast was outstanding! The food was hot and fresh, and everything was absolutely delicious! They even use real silverware and dishes instead of paper plates and plastic utensils, and someone came around often to clear away your dirty dishes. Everyone here, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant staff was very polite and accommodating. There is a large lot with free parking.

    The hotel was clean and everything was in order. The only thing I thought was weird is that there was no elevator so be prepared to tip an employee if you need help carrying your bags up stairs. This just jumps out at me because it seems to diverge from the baseline hotel.

    « Pleasant surprise »

    We stayed here 2 nights this past weekend. Clean room, better than expected. Hot water, good towels, micro/fridge, etc., clean, wi-fi fine, and a nice variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Pleasant staff. The only drawback was the noise from the heater unit blower when running. Also staying were HS students (marching band competition) so there was alot of foot traffic heard, but not late into the evening. Breakfast room was crowded, but the staff were very quick to clean tables. All in all a nice stay, and we would return to this BW Gateway Drive location.

    « OK, but »

    In the process of moving we had an interim period of 4 days. We did not want to spend a fortune so we looked at several budget priced hotels and decided on this Best Western.The pro's included a pleasant and polite staff, a good breakfast with a great selection and a good central location. The con was, the old and tired room that was clean but definitely needed to be refurbished. Yet,for the price we paid our stay was OK.

    Do Not stay here. The non smoking rooms smell like an ashtray. We found bugs in the bed and on the curtains. Blood stains on the bed. Disgusting!!! They should be shut down.i sent the owner an email and have not heard anything back.

    Outside is nice. Can you use indoor pool across the street. Rools are super old. Bed is not comfortable. Internet / TV is excellent. Bathroom is old with dropped cieling that is failing apart. It not very clean overall. Carpets are nasty

    « Nice quiet room and an okay hotel »

    We got there to check in early, but were denied. Usually since we are platinum card holders we can check in early, not here. So we went back at the posted check in time and got nothing but sass. The woman behind the desk stated there are no rooms ready yet. What does the housekeeping staff start at 3pm. My husband stated to her find a room now. We had booked a king and had to settle with a double. Then the poor woman behind us wanted a double and was told the same thing, there are no rooms ready yet. Well she went off as well. If your check in time is 4pm, then most of your rooms should be ready by then. No excuse for the rudeness by the front desk person. Won't be back, too many other places to stay in the area. Giving it a poor rating, your front desk is the first encounter you have and you know if there is a problem it won't get solved by the front desk.

    « Much better than last visit »

    When we visited in May, we wrote a really negative review of this hotel. However, we were asked to try it again, and we did so. Our feelings have changed. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious. It seems like it has been partially renovated, so the upholstered furniture was stained but the carpet was new. The bed was comfortable, but the sink had cracks. Breakfast was generous and tasty. We weren't overwhelmed, but we would come back as it is a good value for the money.

    « Runner's World Half Festival Stay »

    This hotel was in a good location, about 15 minutes from SteelStacks where Runner's World held their event. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and there were thoughtful amenities available. Good restaurant, free WiFi, free coffee, full complimentary breakfast, free ample parking and soft and comfortable bed/pillows. It's an older hotel, with no elevator, has a feel of an indoor-version motel, but it was clean and good for the value. My only request would be to make the side doors accessible by hotel room key, as anyone could come in and out because the doors were not locked at all (even at night).

    « Nice banquet hall but hotel needs updating »

    We stayed at this hotel and attended a banquet at their facility. The food at the banquet was high quality and the staff was very professional and attentive. Our hotel room was clean, and I appreciate that there were two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one outside the bathroom. That feature made the room very accommodating. The hotel itself would benefit greatly from updating, painting and renovations. The heater in our room did not work properly when we arrived, and a service personnel responded quickly to the issue and solved it by disconnecting the thermostat and returning to the unit controls.

    The best part was the complimentary breakfast buffet. Room was average and not very clean---stains on chair, rust in bathroom tub area, pet area trash can was overflowing, There is NO fan in the bathroom and odors pervaded the entire room. I felt that the rates were a little high too.

    We had a late check in and no reservation but almost everything else was full. We were referred here because it was quite aways from where we came in to town and away from the attractions. The room was clean and checkin staff friendly and helpful. No complaints here.

    « There's a reason for the pricing »

    I wanted to like this place. It's location is good and I figured that a conference center meant higher standards of service and care taken with the facility. When we arrived the front desk clerk seemed preoccupied with some person who didn't seem like a guest. We gave them space anyway. She asked across the lobby if we were checking in and for our last name. Oh, she was not in uniform and did not have a name tag. She broadcast our room number and telephone number loudly for anyone to hear. Thank goodness no one else was around. We were also not thanked for our business. We were given a room on the second floor. It doesn't seem like the second floor has elevator service. Not that we could see, anyway. This is supposed to be a non smoking hotel but we noticed a tobacco smoke smell in the hallways. The room has furniture seriously marred and worn (like our table in the restaurant, too). One of the table lamps doesn't work because there is no receptacle for it to plug in to. And the commode seat is loose. Restaurant service is loosey goosey to be kind. Vegetables in the salad were past their prime. Most of the salad was uneaten. I don't know if we'll be back this way anytime soon but we won't return here. And we will avoid Best Western if this is an example of their 4 star facilities.

    We were for a dog show which is held there yearly. Staff loves the dogs and are very helpful and are cheerful. Our room could have been a bit cleaner - when we arrived there was the previous person's undershirt have under the chair and half out on the floor. Kind of dishusting.

    « Decent accomadation for a value price. »

    Check in was good and I located my room without trouble. Coffee maker was ready to use when I entered the room. Two sinks were clean and counters were clean. Bathroom was not terribly clean. Bathroom sink seems to drain slowly. The room was comfortable and Wi-Fi worked fine. I could order take-out and get my work done here without trouble. Breakfast was no problem plus complimentary newspapers. Check-out took longer than expected early in the morning.

    The staff at this hotel appeared to not care at all about the guests. The room was outdated. Coffee maker did not work. Shower was not working properly. Very noisy staff in the middle of the night. The waitress seemed to be put out to have to serve us. The breakfast staff was pleasant enough but the rest of the experience was substandard.

    Room was fine although it needs updating. Don't eat in the restaurant. Food was the worst I have had in a hotel. Waited between 20 to 30 minutes for a sandwich while everyone at the bar were served much quicker. Breakfast buffet was so so.

    « Good value, near airport, and clean »

    This hotel has an airport shuttle and is near ABE airport. I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It is easy to find off the freeway because of the large sign visible from the road. The complimentary breakfast is served with glass and ceramic cups and plates and metal utensils, which I prefer to disposables.

    Hotel staff was informative and helpful. Beds VERY comfortable. Breakfast was great, but I advise to get there before 9:30 as they make you fell uncomfortable nearing 10:00 am because they have to get set up for lunch and meetings.

    My 2 night stay was ok, room was a good size with ample area to work (as was on business). Slightly let down by the decor - which clearly needs refreshing, throughout the hotel as colours very drab. Also slightly disappointed with the lack of selection for breakfast. Perhaps this is down to the regular customers but would benefit from catering for Europeans too - less pastries and more options for a continental breakfast. - Cakes and sugared cereals are not to everyone's taste. Would most likely use the Hampton Inn next door next time i visit, as I know they are of a higher standard.Sorry.

I can't say enough great things about how comfortable & enjoyable the hotel was all having to do with the staff helping every situation! From Rose at breakfast... amazing individual.. Adam,Melissa & Nick are all so warm & welcoming!! Never.. I say never let them go ??. We all had an amazing.. magical night with Luis Ivo the best Dj in the house... Also Eladio !!     We always stay here when working in the area. It is central to all we have to do and easy access to main highways. The check in staff is always friendly. The breakfast buffet is superior to other places we have stayed and is well maintained. The rooms are nice and clean. Even though there is a night club here, it is still quiet for sleeping. The staff is very accommodating and if there is any problem, it is dealt with quickly and properly.

    Real nice place to break up a long trip, and it was very reasonably priced for that northeast corridor. My fellow man was pleased. It's clearly an old hotel/motel. That said, we piled into our very clean room on the ground floor with a door opening to the outside as well as inside, went to Wegman's across the street to re-provision the car with fresh fruit and a little something for Tess, and ordered room service. There were plenty of grassy places for Tess to romp And relieve herself. 45 min. Later our quesadilla and salad arrived. We were pleased. Not gourmet food, but it was good and close and we didn't have to go out again. Bath was nice with Soap, shampoo,conditioner in a dispenser on the wall, towels are good quality and there were several. When our travels take us near we will surely stop here! Breakfast, by the way was plentiful and lots of choices. Again, the coffee was above average, which is important in the morning. It's really a very good 3 star place, and Tess gave it 4, because of he outside door which we could leave open so our outdoor loving Aussie/poodle mix could see what was going on!

    Room was slightly small, bathroom cramped but it was clean and would have been comfortable - if we hadn't been sick. (Have no idea about how the breakfast was - we couldn't eat) We arrived late afternoon and then both my husband and I came down with what we think was stomach flu and it made what would have been a fine overnight stay into a nightmare. We were not close enough to a store to go out and get medicine so we used the natural medicine of sleep --- for two whole days. Our bright star was the housekeeper, Nora, who was exceedingly kind and beyond helpful. Bless her heart. Room Tip: If you want a short walk, they have rooms with doors onto the parking lot.

    « Pet Friendly with a central location. »

    We have visited this property a number of times before and have always been satisfied. There is an ample pet exercise area. The rooms provide both inside corridor and outside access which we find very convenient. While we did not use all of the facilities there is a lounge and restaurant. Pool was closed due to the time of year. We stayed in room 105 and there was some road noise but not enough to bother us.

    The Hotel room was clean, however, the shower doors had mold on the caulking and the shower rails. Our stay involved visiting with friends close by. There is an outside door to each room even though it is rated as a Hotel rather than a Motel. It was facing into the courtyard, but, I had a concern with it.

    « Family Vacation with Pool »

    Went here on our first family vacation to use their pool and get a good night's sleep. Was not happy to be awoken by a VERY loud guest who walked down the halls on his phone arguing loudly for about an hour at 2 am! Beds are SUPER cozy, bathrooms are just what you need, coffee maker in rooms, and pool entrance door. Enjoyed our complimentary breakfast before we headed out the next morning.

    Last minute trip and front desk staff fantastic could not have been any more accommodating traveling with severely autistic son and they were very compassionate helpful and non judgemental hard to find at hotels resorts and or spa resorts Pool was clean and fun and volleyball court nice change of pace for outside activity Food generous portions and tasty Management was spot on and eager too assist if needed smiles and friendly faces everywhere and all day long Housekeeping staff were helpful and rooms clean and tidy

    « An excellent value, great grounds for dog owners. »

    The hotel was excellent for the price with spacious and shady grounds. The onsite restaurant is a plus. We did not try the pool but it appeared clean and well kept. This is an older property with lots of rooms you can enter from the parking lot and the decor is a bit dated but the room was clean and well maintained. Close to the airport and a short easy trip to Coca-Cola park.

    It has a pool and a wonderful breakfast your kids will love. Very nice for the price overall. I didn't get charged for the extra towels. The only drawback is the very congested highway you have to travel to get in and out.

    We were not sure what to expect when we booked here but We were not disappointed in our choice. The property has a nice outward appearance and the lobby is clean and well appointed. The property is old (1964) or so I was told but has been kept up and is a good value for the price. The pool was open and clean, did not use the fitness center. I cannot rave enough about the breakfast in the morning. It was very good and fresh. The Staff kept everything welll stocked with fresh cooed eggs, bacon sausage, depending on the day the meat dish was different. All in all a great value and I do not think you will be disappointed.

    I had a hard time getting someone on the phone to make the reservation, but the room was clean, check in process was quick, and breakfast was tasty. I had a great time at the pool with my family, the food at the restaurant was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Overall my stay was comfortable.

    For a mid range hotel, very clean. Housekeeping knows how to get it done right. After the rooms were cleaned, the hallways were vacuumed and the outdoors attended to. Limited amenities. Extremely comfortable thick pillow mattresses.

    I wish I could give this a ZERO. We have stayed at a lot of these 2-3 star motels on our long road trips and this way by far the most yuk one! Where to begin... - I will begin with the staff being really nice - The NON smoking room reeked of cigarettes - Puddles of green water in front of each room at parking lot - Hairs all over the shower and bathroom - Sticky towels that got sticker when used - Beyond dirty rug - Sheets and blankets that were worn and frayed - A thermostat that did not work so we froze and then tried to turn it off in 95 degree weather and almost suffocated. - No extra blankets despite hotel being half empty - Dirty hallways (like super disgusting) - Stale bagels I am horrified at this hotel. It was scuzzy and gross. Find somewhere else to stay unless you like dirty.

    Rose works at the check in/out desk. She is the go to person for everything. We had an unexpected illness and she had us covered for all our needs. She went above n beyond to make us welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant and room service were excellent...as was the outdoor pool. A truly great vacation stay.

    See previous notes. Not happy with check in. Overall the hallways were pretty dirty. Outside door to parking lot would not open from outside with room key so when it rained we had to walk around the building to gain access at another door. This problem existed for at least three days and other guests were complaining about it too. Room furnishings were rather dated.

    Great value, excellent breakfast, didn't go into the outdoor pool but was surprised at how large it was. Room was clean and comfortable. The desk people were especially helpful in signing up for rewards. I already recommended this hotel to friends who drive the same route. The hotel bar was a bit loud but everyone seemed to be having a good time.

    We have stayed at Best Western properties before. This was by far one of the oldest properties . The lack of an elevator was unbelievable. The day that we arrived, our rooms were not ready due to the lack of proper staffing to clean them. I went up to the rooms and found only 2 people were cleaning on our floor. Same for the bar and restaurant. UNDERSTAFFED.... The wait for service was longer than it should have been. The manager on duty did provide a free dinner to try and compensate for the inconvenience. THAT WAS VERY NICE. The pool was GREAT but the outside Cabana was never opened.

    we have stayed at this hotel before, it is an average hotel, the room maids are not very well trained as the bedding was not installed correctly and the floors showed signs of lack of vacuum use. The heating system in our room did not work properly. I wonder why hotels insist on setting the temperature to 65f or so.

    Room was not ready at 4:30 when check in was at 3:00. They could have offered to pay for part of dinner at the restaurant that was located at the hotel. they did suggest we could have dinner while we waited. There were others waiting on there rooms also.

    We were a baseball team of 30 boys and parents. If I were traveling alone would not have been first choice, although overall experience was not bad. With the boys it was perfect. Outdoor pool area was excellent, location was great, breakfast buffet was great to get them started. AC in rooms were very loud but it was 100 degrees while there and just thankful we had it.

    We attended a car convention/car show here and used this is a base to do sightseeing in the Bethlehem/Allentown PA area. It was an economical stay, included a buffet breakfast, and a very nice outdoor swimming pool that is well maintained. Staff is friendly. Easy check in/check out. Our room came with a microwave and small fridge. Join their frequent stay club for extra benefits on future stays. New carpeting was going in as part of an upgrade to the hotel. 3 nights a week they have entertainment in their "Bar With No Name." Short drive away are sightseeing destinations like the Bethlehem Steel Stacks, Sands Casino, CF Martin Guitar Factory/Museum, Mack Truck Visitors Center, and America on Wheels Museum.

    Let's just say that I have never been so glad that my little one was not sitting on a bed before. My husband sat down on the edge of the bed and the other side of it literally flew up about 2 or so feet in the air. Apparently it was off the track - whatever that means. But had my little one been sitting there she would've been launched off the bed. Maintenance came quickly to fix it. Outside door nearest our room would not unlock with room key so we had to walk halfway around the hotel just to get to our room.

    When we are working in the Allentown, Bethlehem area we always make our reservations at the Best Western. They offer a good value for the price. The breakfast buffet has a lot more to offer than most other places. The rooms are comfortable and clean. If we have any problems, we are able to get them resolved expediently. The location is very good. It is easy to get on and off major roads with not much difficulty and it is central to most everything in the area.

    A quiet and comfortable hotel in a pleasant setting near North Jersey. The hot breakfast was one of the best for Best Western hotels. There's no elevator but we were able to get a first floor room. Staff did ask if we needed assistance with our luggage.

    The rooms are a little older but are easily accessible. Our room was on the interior and had direct access to the courtyard which was attached to the pool area. I liked this. We could walk out our back door (downstairs rooms had 2 entrances/exits). The location is great to hop on the highway for all the local attractions in the area. Free breakfast, parking (plenty) and internet. The only downside was the floors in the room were a little damp and stayed that way. Bring slippers or flip flops.

    I have never written a TripAdvisor review. I have never stayed at a Best Western either. This was my first and only stay at this Best Western. First all the great things: Hotel staff was great, friendly, attentive at all levels. The included breakfast buffet was really exceptional included all the typical items: eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruit. Also included french toast, fruit blintzes, prepared oatmeal. The outdoor L shaped pool is large and a great space. The bad: Our rooms were VERY dated, and in need of an overhaul/update. The carpet felt "damp". One bed had plastic on it, and the fitted sheet slipped off during the night. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. While taking a shower, the drain was slow to drain. In the morning, noticed the sheets had some wear/tear visible. It is an outside entry into your room. Seriously, you are probably safe at this hotel, but why would you stay here if you could find another hotel in the same price range that is concerned with the product?

    Our stay was horrible, the room was lacking in cleanliness and smelled moldy and damp. The drunks partying out side your room until 2 am and when called the front desk several times with no response they wouldn't even pick up the phone to answer finally got dressed and walked to the front desk to complain about the noise ( drunks partying out side our door) but the did NOTHING . Called again from my cell phone because they wouldn't answer the house phone and complained again which did no good. A horrible night with no sleep is what we paid $109 for. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THE BEST WESTERN EVER AGAIN

    Everything was great except two small items. Motion sensor tights in bathroom. As an older person I get up` several times in the night and having the lights turn on full was a problem. Also there was no waffle machine.

    The room smelled bad, there was urine in the toilette when we arrived, and there were food stains on the white sheets! I had been telling my husband I wanted to bring extra linens for the hotel and he looked at me like I was crazy. I had heard about hotels not washing their sheets and all that they DON'T clean...turns out, they don't wash the sheets! At least this place didn't! Unacceptable!

    This facility has been in business for many, many decades in the bustling Lehigh Valley Area of Pennsylvania. It is obvious why after years and years of business that this establishment has not been pushed aside by new competitors. The management at The Best Western Lehigh Valley Conference Center knows what it means to provide a comfortable stay with attention to service!! The price, location, and array of amenities offered at this hotel are exceptional...but the staff and service put this establishment above the rest!!     The hotel seems like it has been around for a while, but all the important things (beds, for example), have been upgraded. The pool is beautiful. Great place for kids. Wonderful breakfast.The staff was friendly and helpful.

    Had a nice time at the Best Western. Spent the weekend in Bethlehem for a wedding. We lucked out with the weather so we were able to spend Friday and Saturday at the pool. King size room was nice and roomy. We ordered food at the bar and the staff was very accommodating. Loved the BLT, chicken fingers, turkey wrap. Will definitely stay again when visiting. Also loved the hot breakfast.

    Very well kept hotel. We had problems with the door locks, the key wouldnt open the doors. The lovely woman at the front desk reissued the keys but instead of just sending us on our way, she got the maintenance man and the 2 of them walked to the room with me to make sure they keys worked. As it turned out there was a problem with one of the guys and the maintenance man took note of what was wrong. Breakfast was very good. My Mom likes her bacon well done, so one of the waitress's noticed her looking for some and offered to go out back to get some more well done bacon and then proceeded to bring it to our table. Great looking courtyard and outdoor pool in the center, unfortuantely was not able to take advantage of it this time. Would not hesitate to come back.

    near many attractions and great restaurants. hotel is very clean and the staff was very courteous. will stay there again. check in and check out went smoothly. I have stayed in other hotels in the area but this hotel is the best by far

    The hotel was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. The location was just a short drive into the center of town. I would recommend this hotel to others. The staff was having some computer problems but handled the situation quickly and with professionalism. We were checked in in less than 10 minutes.

    Very helpful, friendly staff. Nice room amenities I liked the shower dispenser that had all of your basics, shampoo, condiotioner, and body wash. Thevariety of the hot breakfast items is a wonderful way to start the day. Would stay here again.

    « Pleasant stay for 2 nights »

    I went into this stay with lower expectations based on other reviews. I figured as long as it was clean, all was good. I was pleasantly surprised with our room and the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend in a king room. The room was well appointed and fairly large. The only issue was in the bathroom where the door had to be closed in order to use the toilet because it opened right to edge of the bowl. However, the king room had a sink and mirror outside of the bathroom, where there was also a sink and mirror. It made getting ready to go somewhere very easy for two people. The bed was on the firm side of things, but that worked well for me. The carpet could have used updating, but everything was very clean. The staff were efficient, friendly and there was always someone around to help with questions. The breakfast was AMAZING! This is the first hotel were I was able to get cheese blintz at breakfast...and they were delicious! The eggs were scrambled and done well. My husband raved about the bacon. The breakfast area was well spaced and there was plenty of seating to accommodate everyone.

    This is a typical Best Western - average rooms, all amenities in working order but nothing special. Rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave, and a coffee maker. Includes hot breakfast every day. Good for business stays as I use it. Overall value is good. Can get a bit noisy when there is a large convention at the hotel.

    We stayed here for one weekend while visiting Lehigh University. The hotel seems very run down and not worth the price we were charged. In fact, our next hotel, the following night in downtown Philly, was centrally located in the downtown area and offered much more for the same price. Best Western either needs to update or charge less. I will say they had a nice large pool at the Best Western and the maintenance worker was willing to go above and beyond, even replacing the AC unit during our stay when it was malfunctioning.

    « never would have....but totally glad we did!!!!! »

    So, headed to Emmaus for a funeral...knew colleges had already had their graduations so no worries for a room right? Wrong...did not know about the National Lacrosse event going on and Cindy Lauper concert...so, as we get into town, around 9pm after an 8 hour drive.....NO ROOMS ANYWHERE!!!! 85 and humid....no chance for crashing in vehicle for a couple of hours.... Would not have picked them honestly.....called many first...have not stayed at a Best Western, in decades. Gentleman that answered phone was very patient and helpful...Nick was a lifesaver for our family that evening. Last hotel we stayed at was a 5 star in NYC...this room was better. Clean room, clean bathroom and NEW mattresses. AC was powerful and smooth for the whole night, on a very hot and humid evening. Clean bathroom, nothing less than sparkling.....and I am very critical. Only issue....room door was tough to get into....hard to push open.....but that was it...great night sleep, and soooooo clean!!!!!! No smells, not dampness, nothing. Bedding was clean and fresh...really so thrilled with this room and stay! Breakfast was so what we needed...for the price, the warm, fresh food was a treat, and the blintzes, real and good. Kind staff, clean enough to thrill a clean freak! Just a treat and a hugely welcome respite from a draining and exhausting trip!!!!! So glad we had someone have a cancellation and it was at this great place!!!!!

    Horrible rooms and staff. Beds were filthy with torn sheets and bed spreads. Room smelled horrible. Had to go buy Lysol and room freshners. Took 15 minutes to check out because staff couldn't figure out how to work computer. Night staff never answered phones. Very poor safety...doors never locked past 11pm as specified. Bar was good though.

    Conveniently located by Lehigh University, local restaurants, and shopping. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet with plenty of seating and reasonable hours. The double beds appear to be full size, so not too big but they're comfortable.

    Mix of quality and shabbiness as far the room. Overall clean and good enough but not inexpensive for the quality. Service overall was OK but have to keep after them. Good breakfast. Some of the staff really care. After a bad start, never knew just what to expect when we got back to our room at night. But do have to admit that housekeeping tried to make our stay more comfortable from then on. Issues with getting into our room at times because of faulty locks.

    I had a two day dive trip at Dutch Springs and needed a place to stay the night. The hotel was close to D.S. and had a decent rating and price. The staff I encountered throughout my stay were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was nice for a free hotel breakfast. It was pretty clean and relatively quiet, especially since the hotel was booked. For those reasons, it would be a good choice if you needed to stay in the area overnight. However, it is outdated and the pillows (all six) were uncomfortably lumpy. It sounds trivial, but it made it difficult to sleep.

    Booked a room here before a concert. Very clean. However, no elevator to the second floor so that could be an issue for some. The door locks need updating, they don't work well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant is reasonably priced and food is decent, but nothing special. The nightclub, which we observed, did seem to have some rowdies, and the front desk would only say this was the usual. But they were contained and didn't bother us, though they were good entertainment value. Room was large and decently appointed.

    We had the pleasure of attending a convention at this hotel and spending the night. The rooms were very pleasant. They had only double beds, where queen would be nice. The bathrooms had a separate sink outside of the regular bathroom area which made it easier for 2 people to be getting ready at the same time. The desk staff were were very helpful. The grounds were lush and green with all the trees in bloom. A beautiful time of the year to enjoy the grounds!

    Attended a weekend conference at this BW and had a very good stay. The staff were attentive and the amenities were nice. My only recommendation is that they invest in queen size beds. The double beds seem very small.

    TOP Notch food for our event and several service members were fantastic. Donna, and the Front Desk, and Mary or Donna in Banquets? Rooms were ok and expected of a Best Western. Not for a Plus though - could use an upgrade. Was there for a conference and Houskeeping and Engineering needs for the conference were horrible and lack luster. But overall I would rebook again.

    « Noisy and internet didn't work »

    I have stayed here several times in the past and been very satisfied, but didn't have a great experience this time. Apparently there was a large group of college students partying here, and there was noise around 3 am. I didn't sleep well at all. My friends had to change rooms because of noise the first night and were across from me the second, but still were kept awake. Also, the internet only worked for a few minutes, then disconnected and I was unable to connect again. Very annoying. Otherwise, my room was fine and breakfast was good as usual. Service was very good, although there was a long line at check in, due to the college students. I will still stay again, because it is a very good value, but I hope it's quieter next time.

    Very good handicap accommodations. We had a handicapped room with a door that opened right to a handicap parking space. we were there because we had a 5am appointment for a knee replacement at a neer by hospital. You should add medical to the type of trip.

    « Could Have Received a 4 »

    We were pleasantly surprised with this stay. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and even had one bath sink inside the bathroom and one outside, which makes life more convenient when sharing the room. The breakfast was great and included and the hotel has a restaurant and bar on site so you don't have to drive after a long day of travel. The only thing that prevented me from giving it a 4 star rating was that the floors in the bedroom were not vacuumed prior to our stay. The rate per night of $84 not including taxes was a great bargain.

    « Noisy; Nightclub »

    Checked in on a Friday eve about 5 p.m. with only one request...a quiet room. All was quiet when we checked in although they did tell us there was a nightclub, restaurant and bar there. All was fine until about 9:15, when a bunch of folks in the room next to ours started getting pretty loud. They were obviously out to party for the evening, smoking cigars outside under our window (uggghhhh). So, we asked to have our room changed. They gave us a room that was in the very back corner of the hotel, hoping that would be quiet. However, there was only a partial curtain in that room....no privacy at all. By now, it was obvious that a lot of the rooms were occupied by young, partying people. They were just out to have a good time I'm sure, but not what I had in mind for the night. We left and went to the Hampton Inn which is right next door. Management at the BW was cooperative and gave us our money back. All in all, though, this place is older. I don't wish to be harsh, but if you're out for a quiet and good night's sleep, you might not want to pick a place that has a nightclub. Just giving you a heads up before booking there.

    the staff was friendly especially the housekeeping staff that noticed my use of coffee and always left me extra the food was excellent the snacks during the conference hit the mark. A great conference venue.very easy to access. Felt very safe as a single traveler. The gym was was small but adequate thank you!!

    I cannot think of one issue or complaint regarding our stay. We continue to make this our hotel of choice when we visit Bethlehem, PA. The quality of service and the attention to details are the things to which I pay very close attention. When I take the time to away from home, I want it to be as good as home and better. Best western is a little old, the housekeeping staff always welcomes me and do meet my expectations continually. Thank you!

    I've been to hostels in third world countries that have been nicer than this Best Western. I got the room for very cheap and I guess I got what I paid for--there's a reason it's cheap. All the public rooms--the restaurants--were fine. But the actual hotel room left much to be desired. To start off, when I pulled down my covers, my sheets were wet, with multiple wet stains. Staff said it was the dryers taking off material, but I had actually touched it and it was wet and dirty. My sink didn't drain. THe heater blew out cold air even when on I turned on the heat. The room was musty and there was no air vent in the bathroom. The staff was average--either good nor bad. The room overall just felt grungy. I would never rebook here but at the end of the day, it was a place to sleep and stay.

    The first night I hit the microwave button and the room went dark. This is was resolved immediately. The second day the not all trash was removed from the room, no floor towel for the bathroom, appeared our room was not vacuumed. I called in for a wake up call on our check out day, no one called. Luckily I had my cell phone set. I said no receipt on check in, but was offered a receipt on check out said yes and did not receive one. On third day we did not return to our room until 6:30 at night and our room was not touched. I enquired and the front desk stated I had the do not disturb sign up. I did but removed it when we left after breakfast. We left about 9:30 in the morning. Are the rooms not rechecked? We have always used Best Western, no matter where we go, these problems are an exception to the rule.

    Very pet friendly with access to lots of green space right outside the private back door. Very friendly and accommodating staff who really go out of their way for us guests (me & my dog anyway). Easily accessible location, hot & cold breakfast included (did not partake so can't rate the quality), outdoor pool closed for the season, very slow "high speed" wifi but lots of TV channels, microwave, fridge with tiny freezer and a super comfy bed.

    average-good hotel with great price and amentities included. Bkfst was good, plentiful. We stayed at this hotel because the conference we were attending was there which was very convenient. We are unable to use outside pool but it looked nice and the workout room and pool were available to us next door. The hotel clerk went out of her way to help me find an item I had lost - which was turned in!!

    « Rooms are less than average »

    The room is the biggest down-side of staying here. While the price is very respectable, the rooms are outdated and smell musty. The temperature control in the rooms leaves something to be desired -- I spent most of my time being cold, even though I had the thermastat set to 70 degrees. The worst part of the room, though, is the heater unit, which desperately needs to be looked at (and it wasn't just my room, as I spoke to other hotel guests who had the same issue). The heater unit is unbearably loud and would often wake me up when it turned on -- and it would also make horrible clicking and grinding sounds. These desperately need to be looked at by a professional, as this sounds like it's approaching a safety issue. The pros, on the other hand, were that the lobby and conference center area (I was there for a writers conference) were very nice and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is way more than other hotels offer. I didn't eat at the restaurant for other meals, but the menu made the food look good. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. If Best Western can see fit to update the rooms to make them more comfortable and also fix the heater units so they're not so loud, this hotel would definitely be a great one to stay at. Until those updates and fixes happen, though, I'm not sure if I'll stay again or not.

    Nice, roomy place top stay. Impressive lobby for its rate category. Friendly staff on all levels. Easy to park and unload for the night. room key worked first time!! Nice bar area and perfect breakfast the next morning. Lots to choose from and all the right things to make breakfast worth eating. Comfortable room, quiet and spacious for two people. I would stay there again!!!

    We reserved this hotel for a group and the price was $89 per night, which seems reasonable, but the hotel is outdated and does not have a feeling of being clean. Overall, the hotel had a musty smell, which is most likely from being old. The location was very good, and very easy to get to. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I did not complain to the staff about my concerns because I knew there was nothing they could do about it.

    We stayed here last night and couldn't be more happy with our stay. Our room was clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay great. I lost my car keys and Haiti, Norma and the staff went through every place we were that I could have lost even calling someone to come down and open the club for me this morning so we could check there also. We eventually found them and we were able to get on our way. I will also mention the complimentary breakfast which was much better than a lot of other hotels in the area provide. We will definitely be back and recommend this BW to our friends and family. Thank you to Haiti, Norma, and the rest of the house keeping staff for everything you did to help me this morning.

    Pluses were staff and eating facility, minus was the musty room-- the conference front is nice but the rooms seem not to have been refreshed since smoking times. We probably would have rated it higher if the pool had been open for the season (no one's fault there)

    « SERENE AREA, CLOSE TO SANDS CASINO »

    Hotel was nice and a 10 minute drive to sands casino. hotel had outdoor pool, which is closed for the winter season, restaurant on premises and bar. this hotel is pet friendly. area is quiet but sometimes you need that time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. rooms were nice with microwave and refrigerator in room. FREE breakfast included which consisted of eggs,homefries,sausages ,french toast,cereal,yogurts, danishes,bagels, and assorted juices. This hotel does NOT have a elevator but it only has 13v steps to 2nd floor. This hotel can make you a wedding with accomodations for it.

    « Great Stay! Try this Best Western! »

    I am a hotel manager. We are the hardest folks to please. I found Best Western Lehigh to be clean, staff were professional. The rooms were decorated nicely. Lots of movie channels on TV. They have a nice pool and courtyard when weather will warm up. Breakfast was excellent. You cannot go wrong here. Give them a try.

    This hotel is on the older side, but it is very clean and very comfortable. The best part is if you get an outside room you can park right outside your room! Nice TV & internet! Everything works great!

    overall this was an excellent choice a friend stays here when she comes to town and we tried it and we love it cant wait to come back. the hotel is clean and staff are very helpful. the no name bar was fantastic the dj was rocking and the casino is 5 miles away YES.

    This is an excellent hotel and I have had no problems with my stays there. This is my third visit to this hotel and would difinitely recommend it to others who may visit the area.     « Gone downhill »

    Used to a great place to stay, but the cleanliness and condition of their mattresses have made me rethink staying here in the future. I had to request a different room due to beds after checking in, which they did give me a different room, mattresses were a little better, but room was not clean, a definite turn off for me.

I addressed the room issue with our housekeeping manger and it seems you stayed in one of our rooms that is not yet equipped with our new pillow top mattresses; we'll have it installed within the next month and hope you will stay with us then.     We have a dog so we're immediately looking for somewhere clean and reasonably priced in the area as we drive cross country. Not only was this place clean it also had outdoor access right on the room and had the best breakfast we have ever had included in a stay before! Would definitely recommend d this place to anyone! Even though it's closed for the season the pool.looks great also!!

    Though the room was good, I loved the breakfast. They had plenty of options. Good choices but the bar was pricey. It was ok for a couple of nights. Pretty close to the highway. I will definitely try next time.

    « You get what you pay for »

    And I don't mean that cruelly. We got a room at this hotel at half the price of the neighboring hotel for the same night. Drawbacks: this hotel has no elevator, and our room was on the second floor. The desk clerk seemed to be in lala land and had a lot of trouble checking us in. The linens are threadbare. Housekeeping does not do a very good job of making up the room. Not enough outlets to plug into. Benefits: breakfast is fine, and the breakfast room staff are pleasant and organized. The hotel is inexpensive, probably because it caters to events rather than individuals. There is plenty of parking near the entrance closest to your room. The room we had was large. The WIFI is free and easy to connect to. The bed was comfortable. There were two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one outside the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again, and you should consider it, if you can manage the stairs with your suitcase.

    This was a great place to stay. Easy access from the highway. The room was clean and the price was right. They had many options we did not use since we were there to be at the hospital at 5AM. Had it been summer, the room had a door that opened right on the outside pool area. All the staff we encountered were very nice.

    This is an interesting hotel- and it might have been very nice back in the day. But it's showing its age-- it is correctly rated at 2.7 stars. I gave it 2 stars because I view a Courtyard or Hilton Garden Inn as a better choice and a 3 star hotel in my book. The good: - decent free wifi - a rather large bar (some people have weddings here) - good water pressure - friendly staff at check in The bad: - weak gym - no maid service for some reason - first floor rooms have a door to the parking lot, motel style - 2nd floor rooms do not have elevator service Some of the weaknesses are the result of age. It's fine if you get a good rate and are visiting a college, but can only give it the 2 stars (and 2.5 is probably fair).

    This hotel had a good, professional staff and allows pets for a $25 fee. Price is reasonable and it felt reasonably safe, although they still had an old fashioned and easily defeated chain on the door. The breakfast was much nicer than the standard lousy muffins and coffee; they offered good eggs and breakfast meat, etc. The bed and pillows are fairly comfortable and the bedding was clean. Also the internet was super easy-no need for passwords. However, the bathroom had mildew and the area outside the room door was littered with trash and poorly cleared of snow. Overall it did the trick, but could easily have been much better. Don't let them park you near the cleaning staff locker room as it will be very noisy and disruptive.

    This Best Western was well situated, close to the casino and a couple of decent restaurants. We were there for a wedding, and I must say, we were pleasantly surprised by the facility, atmosphere & arrangements. Our room was comfortable (although, as is the case with all older hotels, the sink drains were a bit slow). The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. All in all, a positive experience.

    « Close to the sands casino »

    Hotel was clean, they have a nice restaurant, bar and night club. we were there for new years eve, place was packed.. we called uber to take us over to the casino. it was about a 10 min ride but a good experience and we would for sure stay here again.

    If the people in the rooms next to you are quiet, you should get a great nights sleep. My room was small and would have been cramped for two people. The staff seemed to be rushed at check in. The price is low and the walls are thin. You can hear anyone in the hallway and you can hear the people in the next room along with every door slamming.

    Recently had a dog show. I was not told about upon checking in. Dogs roaming halls,slobber hanging out of mouths, quite disturbing that this hotel would even call it a hotel its more like a motel. Dog like smoking smelly smell thru out the place. Very disappointing in food quailty of service. Really needs some funding to go along with what the General Manager is trying to portray at this establishment. Very Bad ideas here.

    « not ready for the snow storm »

    With the storm in the news this establishment should of had shovels and a contract with a plow company. Our cars were stuck in the show with no roads cleared . The next day by 12 the plow had moved the snow. Not down to pavement like the other shopping centers had done. The sheets were not clean to start with and staying 4 days they were not changed. The thermostat was tricky and would bake us out and then cool us off. the breakfast was the best part of the stay.

    The hotel is old, so the room quality is not that good. The first room we got has strong smoke odor in the non-smoking room. The hotel staff is helpful to offer us to a different room. The room is small, the mattresses are too soft for two adults to sleep. The other room smells better, but the phone is broken. So we had to bother my friend to call for more towels.

    « Need some refresh »

    It's an old hotel Who has never had renovation. Room was very used and very old decor. Same as 20 years ago! This Best Western doesn't reflect the brand chain hotel. My last one was the one at King of Prussia, PA at one hour drive. Much better looking there and usual for a Best Western.

    « This Place needs a Facelift »

    Was a prime hotel at one time, however, it is showing it's age and is in need of a facelift. The sheets pull off the bed during the night, the bedskirt is made for a bed 2 times larger, and the room has a musty smell. (At least room 137.) Would probably recommend a different venue right next door - the Hampton Inn.

    We had a beautiful time.... Greeted by Danielle at the front desk... He was terrific... Danielle remembered making the reservation & welcomed me like I was family. He helped me every step of the way with a few needs. Definitely a front desk asset. Then from afar came Melissa who always makes me feel welcome as we love this hotel & frequent it. The DJ Freddie Frederick was outstanding in every way !! We danced the entire night away toasting at midnight ! We enjoyed our stay so much & brought the New Year in with our favorite hotel !

    Lack of customer service as well as other issues. Melissa needs more training in customer service at the front desk. The breakfast buffet could have had more help from staff as well a attitude obviously needs adjustment!!!!!!!!     The lobby is nice enough at this Best Western, and I do like the restaurant which has very tasty burgers. Unfortunately the rooms are in desperate need of new furniture and carpeting, and in winter the wind howls right into your room on cold nights.

    « Great place to stay with breakfast »

    What a restful night. Everything worked in the room....Iron, blow dryer, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, TV, internet. Rooms I stayed in were clean and most importantly---smelled clean. Very friendly staff. Two doors to the rooms off the parking lot which made packing and unpacking a breeze. I parked right outside my door. I can't say enough about breakfast....what other hotel in this price range makes cheese stuffed crepes with raspberry sauce as their continental breakfast! Not to mention the French toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, etc. which is included in the price of the room. I would definitely stay again.

    « better than expected »

    I'm from the area, so I never needed to stay here before. However since I moved years ago and was picking someone up to travel the next day I decided to stay here to cut 2 hrs out of my trip. It was clean and the people were friendly. Breakfast was also included which is awesome. The only things were there is no elevator so be prepared to schlep that suitcase upstairs, and the heater kept shutting off and the room was cold but other than that the room was nice and comfortable.

    We stayed at this hotel last weekend, and enjoyed our time there. The hotel seems a little old and somewhat run down, but in decent condition for what we paid. For example, the carpet could probably use replacing and things like that. Overall, it was a nice stay.

    Have stayed at this hotel several times. Very convenient to downtown Bethlehem and Casino and right off the highway. The breakfast goes is very good, offering hot and cold dishes. The lounge/bar is nice and the food is good - stays open late for dinner.

    Enjoyed our stay for business. The hotel is centrally located to highway 22. The staff is very friendly at the front desk, in the hallways, at breakfast; even the maintenance man. The bed sheets were thin & cover at the foot of the bed was a mass of wrinkles. This is a good budget hotel.

    We always stay here when working in the area. We are treated well and should there be any problem (we've only had minor ones), they are taken care of right away.     « Could Have Been Better »

    We stayed at this Best Western over Labor Day weekend. We arrived late on Friday night after a long trip to find a night club at the hotel. NOT what we were expecting, especially with our children in tow. Our room looked worn, and not very fresh at all. The toilet was running and the staff was unable to fix it. The sheets had stains on them. It was loud in the morning, little sound-proofing. The only good thing about the hotel was a standard continental breakfast the next day. We had dinner on Saturday night at the hotel and the service was extremely slow...it took 2 hours to get a few appetizers and a drink and the restaurant was practically empty. Housekeeping did not leave enough towels and when we called to get an extra towel, the front desk told us they were out of towels. We will not be returning to this hotel.

    « Out of town guests for a party »

    It's been a week since my daughter's sweet 16 party held at the Hanover Grand Ballroom on 11/14/15. The event was hosted by my parents. My out of state guests staying overnight all had issues with the check-in and check-out process due to computer system problems. It wasn't as fast or smooth for them especially when traveling from 1-2 states away. Hopefully, that was resolved. They didn't complain of any other issues with their rooms or staff. They all enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before their long journey home. As for the event, I did have issues with my requests and organization days before due to the appropriate staff not contacting me or following up with me. The morning of the party, the staff prepping the banquet room and the kitchen staff were all friendly and accommodating to my requests which was a big help in organizing and decorating. Thank you to them. The majority of my guests enjoyed the buffet entrees, but the younger generation thought some of the food was bland. The staff during the party were courteous to all the guests. Therefore, my guests had a good time. In summary, the hotel is fine for an overnight stay but sadly, I'm hesitant to recommend booking an event there based on my father's and my experience with the event coordination staff. Compared to other venues I've dealt with in the past regarding formal events, I've never had issues with the planning of a party until my daughter's sweet 16 last week. I didn't find it professional when I never receive follow up phone calls or emails, and discover the simple requests I've asked for were not relayed properly. Instead, I was frustrated days before the party. Hopefully, others will have a better experience than mine.

    « DON'T EVER STAY HERE. »

    Totally disgusted. Absolutely unaccommodating and ignorant staff. My room didn't lock to the outside parking lot-it was myself, a single woman, and my mother traveling for a wedding. The hotel was scary with the worst sort of people just wandering around, I left and checked out at 1am after my wedding, because I refused to stay there. The staff refused to helped at all. DON'T EVER STAY HERE.

    « A good option for a stopover in Bethlehem area »

    We wanted to spend a weekend in and around Bethlehem and this location worked well. We checked in a few minutes before 4pm and the receptionist seemed to take forever then contacted housekeeping to see if there was a room ready. While I waited a line was forming behind me so I stepped back and the receptionist started to take care of the people in line. It was a little frustrating as 2 of the people in line were checked in and given keys!!! He still didn't give us or the other person waiting any indication of what was going on. Finally help arrived and we soon were checked in but this whole process took about half an hour. We had booked the room on the BW website where I have Platinum status. I have never experienced such an issue at check in at any other BW so not sure what was going on but it was not well communicated.. Anyway, overall the hotel was nice and had it's own restaurant with bar and also another separate bar open at weekends. Room was comfortable and a good size with desk and chair and armchair. We had a door to the hall and a door to the outside so getting luggage in and out was easy. We had dinner in the restaurant at the bar one night and service was very good as was the food. Breakfast had a fair selection including oatmeal and 4 hot items. The first day there was a bowl of chopped fruit as well as a fruit bowl but unfortunately no yogurt. The second day, a Sunday, there was no chopped fruit or yogurt which was a little disappointing. During the day on our last day the computers in the hotel went down so we couldn't charge anything to the room then when we checked out the next day they were still down!!! The receptionist apologized and said she would email the bill which she subsequently did. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you're in the area. I'm just not sure what the issue was at check-in.

    Stayed here on the way to Maine for the night. The checkin was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Seems to have been updated recently. Clean shower and bathroom. Has a great buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

    Our hotel room was nice. We scheduled a room because our son's wedding reception was there in the ballroom. Everything was pretty good except the food at the reception. I was not impressed at all with the food. The roast beef was very tough, almost broke the table trying to cut. Pasta wasn't cooked thru and the potatoes at the potato bar were cold.

    We were placed at the BW when our original destination had equipment problems. We stayed one night. It's an older hotel - renovated and modern - very clean and nice. Great breakfast buffet. One problem - no elevator if you have a room on the second floor.

    we stayed at this hotel twice in the month of October and found the same problem both times. The on bed light did not work and tracing it down in both cases the wires were all tangled with the clock, telephone, and lamp. About 15 minutes required to get the light plugged in. Also the basin stopper in the sink outside the bathroom was broken so the sink did not hold water. Other than these problems to room was clean and comfortable.

    « Pet friendly Best Western »

    I've stayed here 3 times and never had any major issues. The most convenient rooms are the first floor rooms that open to the parking lot. This time the room opened to the pool, so we had to park at a side entrance, which was populated by a group of friendly but drunk men who seemed to be there for hours. I would not recommend a second floor room because there are no elevators, so you have to drag all of your luggage upstairs. I had one of these last year, and it was not very easy. We had a room with 2 double beds. It was average size, clean, and a sink in the room, plus one in the bathroom which was nice. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are attached to the wall in the shower, which was a little awkward for taking a bath rather than a shower. The phone didn't work in the room. There was a fair amount of noise through the door to the pool area when people were out there. My daughter couldn't fall asleep because people were out there for a long time that night. The pool was closed though, since this was October. The breakfast was good with plenty of hot items--scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, French toast. There was plenty of seating. I will definitely stay here again, but it would be best to stay in a first floor room with parking in front of it.

    The room was good for the money; I enjoyed the bar meals I had and my interactions with staff was pleasant. I didn't use the workout facilities, but they looked ok. Parking was convenient to my room, a big plus for loading and unloading.

    Cleanliness was not important to the staff here. After not receiving a wake up call, we were not permitted to make a breakfast sandwich to take and had to purchase breakfast after arriving to our event (almost late). If we were late to the event, we lost our money and opportunity to participate in the event. Not a good way to start our morning. Chemicals were left behind after a partial cleaning of the pet excrement on the wall tile. The tile still was not clean and should have been rinsed. All was relayed to the front desk and they said absolutely nothing when told twice. Hope your stay is better.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

    Upon booking this hotel I was a bit skeptical after I read some reviews. Well I was great surprised as it was beyond my expectations. Front end staff were very nice, room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom counter was a bit low (don't know why). Also the person who built this hotel must have loved cruise ships because when you get off the elevator and turn towards the rooms it is a looooooong way down like a cruise ship with rooms on each side :) Free wifi and breakfast. Breakfast area was very large ( a plus!) and it had not only eggs, sausage and potatoes but included a waffle maker. Worth a visit to see for yourself

    « Roadside Hotel BW »

    As expected nothing fancy. Rooms were clean. Typical size. Beds are full size not queens. Breakfast was good. Two bars were ok. One open until 2am if you want that on Saturday night. Convenient location to Sands casino and historic Bethlehem. Worth $120 a night but don't expect fancy. Does need a decor refresher. Gave us two large towels for 4 person occupancy so had to share. Be sure to ask for more towels at check in.

    « Outdated and in dire need of upgrade »

    This is a huge complex that is in need of a total renovation. Was here for training classes for 3 days. The food is horrible, the rooms need a complete overhaul and the plumbing in all three rooms I reserved needed some kind of repair.

    « Lovely, clean and new! »

    Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were 2 couples and one room had 2 queen beds, the other room had a sitting area with a sofa bed and hassock/table in addition to the king bed. So, it was very comfortable for the 4 of us to sit around in.

    « Decent, not Great »

    We stayed here for a soccer tournament over Labor Day weekend, we were assigned to this hotel by the soccer league. We were able to get adjoining rooms and the rooms were not cramped or crowded, but there were signs of wear and tear on the hotel for sure. The hallways were worn, sidewalks outside of rooms had weird never-ending stained puddles, and the sink in our bathroom leaked with every use. The soap dispenser in the shower didn't work in my son's bathroom. A man outside our room played loud music late at night and it took us two calls to the front desk to ask him to quiet down. There was busted light floating around inside the pool! The poor staff was absolutely overwhelmed during the breakfast service which was a free buffet style. Those poor women worked their butts off to get people fed and I have to say they stayed very calm and polite during a mad rush of families to get fed and get out the door to their soccer games, but you think the hotel would have planned better with so many guests. The food wasn't amazing, but there was a lot of it. I wouldn't be thrilled to stay here again but it was close to the highway and close to a Panera and a decent pizza place and a Wegmans.

    « Avoid This Hotel »

    I stayed at this hotel in December of 2014. I became violently ill within a few hours after eating an order of Chicken Quesadillas in the Hotel Restaurant. I had to go to the ER I was so ill. The room was not very clean. Bedding was old, dirty, and stained. The room had a musty smell like an old hotel. When I returned to the Hotel after my stay in the ER for several hours, there was a persistent clunking or thumping sound that keep my from much needed rest. I reported it to the front desk. The maintenance staff came and were uable to remedy the problem. But, they admitted they thought they knew what it was and couldn't fix it right away. I am still working an active claim for the food poisioning with the Hotel's insurance carrier, which has not been a pleasant experince. They are currently denying liability. I travel a great deal for my job, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

    Stayed on business and the room was by far the worst I have ever seen. Stains on bedding and towels. Floor not vacuumed, someone's medication on the floor, a half dead fluttering bug, need I say more. They offer (1) tiny little facial bar of soap. There are dispensers in the shower for soap, shampoo, and conditioner which was empty. I had no choice but to stay there but kept my suitcase closed and took everything out of the room the next day. DO NOT STAY HERE. BTW checking to see that it was not me my business associate wore sandals on his floor as he was scared to catch something.

    I would not recommend this hotel. The desk staff was rude and unfortunately set the tone for my entire experience. I did not choose this hotel, it was chosen by our baseball team as we were visiting the area for a tournament. I have been travelling with my sons for 7 years to this area and this by far was the worst experience I ever had.

    Each year my wife and I stay at the Best Western on Routes 512 & 22 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania during our visit to the area. We enjoy the kindness of Miss Martha & Miss Pam, (in customer services), Miss Judy & Miss Tracy (in the restaurant), the little Lady who services our room, and the gentleman at the check in desk. They are all wonderful, altogether!

    « Guest Code of Conduct? »

    This hotel is conveniently located off Route 22. We stayed here for two nights on Labor Day weekend. We were checked-in rather quickly and given a room on the second floor. We arrived to find an ice machine making loud noises just outside of our room. It was so loud we could here in the room with the door closed and standing by the window. This was not acceptable. We returned to reception to ask for another room. We were accommodated but it took a while for the front desk to find the same room we had booked. Once we reached our room, it was fine. It was of decent size and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the television had many channels to choose from. The hotel is absolutely huge even though it has only two floors. In fact, my son got lost on his way back to the room after going to reception to get something. There is plenty of parking and there are several entrances to the room so you are pretty much able to park within a decent distance to your room. The nicest feature is the pool. It's huge and we found it quite enjoyable as it was hot out and also Labor Day weekend. Plenty of room to sit by it as well. The breakfast was fine as far as the food goes but the service was another story. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the restaurant area where this is served was understaffed. The staff that were on duty struggled to refill the food items and even got so bad that they ran out of plates and utensils. There was simply too much work to do and not enough people to do it. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. It didn't seem too busy for that. The menu posted did not have many options and was pricy. However, there are plenty of places to choose from that are a short drive away. There is also a nightclub here. My wife and knew that in advance and wanted to go there but we found it closed on Saturday night due to a wedding. This hotel hosts a lot of wedding receptions and we noticed that the reception area can be quite busy when one is going on. The most disturbing thing here was the ?Guest Code of Conduct?. This is a paper that is given to you when you check in. It lists all of the things you cannot do in the hotel and if you violate it, you can find yourself kicked out. Some of the rules included no parties, making noise, and, most curiously, you cannot have your own drinks by the pool! Well, obviously that last one is in place so the bar at the pool area can get business. In fact, most of the rules include things that most reasonable people would not do. You then have to sign that document that you agree to abide with the code or you cannot be checked in. Obviously, this code is in place as apparently the hotel has had some trouble in the past. That's fine. However, does management here have to treat guests like they are college freshman in a dormitory? That's pretty much how I felt. In addition, I find it pretty unprofessional and downright rude for the hotel to present such a thing to guests when they check in. Talk about a warm welcome. In fact, I've stayed in hotels all over the world and that was the first time I had ever seen such a thing. Needless to say, it put me off a bit when I was presented with it. Notwithstanding the ?Guest Code of Conduct?, which we followed, we had a good stay. I would recommend that management pay attention to staffing requirements during busy weekends and do away with this code or at least find a more appropriate way of presenting it to guests.

    Hotel did an excellent job setting and serving during diocesan convention and banquet. There was always plenty of beverages and box lunches were excellent. Serving during the banquet was a little slow but there were well over 200 delegates.

    My nephew's wedding was held at this hotel and the room and especially the food were outstanding. The majority of our family lives out of state and so we all stayed at this hotel.     « Pleasant stay »

    This is the hotel that we choose to stay at when we are working in this area. The staff always sees to it that our stay is pleasant. The rooms are clean and there are good amenities provided. We feel secure here. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet, including hot items. The staff in the restaurant are very nice. If there are any problems, they are usually dealt with in a prompt manner. The location is great with easy access to main highways and other restaurants and stores. We don't plan to stay anywhere else if we are in the area.

    « Great stay »

    I would recommend this hotel highly for there rooms and service both being excellent. I went to a conference there and was treated with the utmost respect and enjoyed my stay. The free breakfast (not Continental) was great. This is a excellent place to have your next conference.
