« Great place to stay »

I stay here at least 2 weeks a year. On every visit the lobby is clean and nice looking. The staff is always friendly. Check in and check out has always been fast and easy. The rooms are clean and up to date.

    « Excellent Service »

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was great. Lots of selection. It was a total suprize how nice it was. Rooms were super big, large areas to do work, watch TV or just relax. We loved it!!

« Veteran's Day Parade and Band Competition »

Visited on a super busy weekend. Absolutely wonderful! The staff is amazing, continental breakfast had something made to order each morning, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I will be using this hotel whenever I come to town.

    « Clean and comfortable »

Friendly staff, clean room, and a complimentary beer after a long day of travel....can't ask for much more. I don't typically have a reason to stay in Auburn, however, if I am ever in the area, I will definitely stay here again.

« Gets the job done »

Not many options in the area. Great staff, great breakfast. The rail yard next door is noisy. The Longhorn Barbecue in the same parking lot was worth having within walking distance. Enjoyed the evening reception. Will stay at this location again if I have another conference in the area.

    « Clean & Comfortable with a great breakfast »

One thing to know is the name on the signs says Peppertree but it is the Mountain View. The room & hotel were very clean. Kids enjoyed the pool but we noticed that about half of the lights were out and was told that they are special order lights and were on back-order, other than that things were just fine in the pool area. The beds were comfortable and was able to get a good nights sleep. I did like that they had door sweeps to keep extra light from the hallway from coming in under the door. The breakfast in the morning was better than the standard basic ones at many hotels. The options when we were there included: eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, yogurt (with the toppings), cereal, oatmeal, baked items (bread, bagels, danishes, etc), fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, breakfast burritos made to order, juice (several kinds), milk, etc. I am sure I forgot something but it was enough food to make two teenagers happy before getting back into the pool. If we pass through again we will for sure stay here again.

« Breakfast is the best selling point of this hotel! »

The location of the property was great for us, but very industrial and not really walking distance to restaurants. The next time we go to visit my husband's mom, in her asst. care home, we will stay at Best Western, and entirely because the breakfast was amazing and wonderful! I was overwhelmed by the choices available, how good the food was and the three ladies running this breakfast were friendly and the hardest working gals ever! We were disappointed the jacuzzi did not work, but appreciated the apologies and attempts at getting it fixed while we were there for five nights. The front desk crew was terrific and we loved the good at the barbecue place next door. We are in the restaurant one night and appreciated the delivery service the last night. This was a difficult trip for us emotionally and starting our day with an assortment of so much food and drink, with a friendly kitchen crew was the highlight of this stay. Scrambled eggs were indeed fluffy, real potatos hash browns, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, cereal, yogurt with toppings, oatmeal, asst. pastries and muffins, coffee, four juices, tea and hot chocolate, and yes, waffles and omelets or breakfast burritos. Did I mention the fruit? I am not one to eat breakfast, but I looked forward to my breakfast and it helped us get a good start to days that were sometimes sad. We will possibly be back to this Best Western, depending on mom's health, but on future travels we will pick this hotel brand cause the room was also a good deal at $99 and nicely decorated. Ok.....the pillows sucked, but otherwise, these usual budget condo travelers were quite pleased with this hotel. And we tipped the breakfast gals. I want to put in a plug for tipping the folks that make all that food and have it ready each morning early!!! They deserve it.

    « Wouldn't stay again »

Would have been nice to know the hot tub was not working. 2nd floor window opened unscreened onto the roof. Breakfast items were subpar. Juice machine not working. Only option for beverage was coffee or milk. Staff were very nice.

« My stay at Best Western Plus Mountain View Auburn Inn. »

I believe that your hotel desk clerks were very efficient and helpful. They answer all of your questions and give you a ride to any place around the hotel that you might need, in a timely and professional fashion. The continental breakfast is excellent. You can make a very good breakfast with a great variety of food items, cereals, fruits, eggs, coffee, teas, etc. I went to Auburn to attend a two-day Tax Course and a hotel desk clerk brought me to Emerald Downs in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening.

    « Name change confusing »

Have stayed at the Peppertree several times and always like it. New name on reservation was confusing, Mountain View Auburn, because all exterior signs still say Peppertree. They have moved the business center into the game room, not as conducive to using the computer.

    « Excellent value »

Great hotel. Very family friendly! I would highly recommend this hotel. I slept well, our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, an excellent value. I would definitely tell a friend and stay here again!

    « Great hotel, but.... »

This was a very nice place to stay for a night before heading to the airport. The hotel, room, staff, breakfast were all very nice and we would stay here again based on that. THIS HOTEL IS LOVELY. The only problem is that there is nothing decent to eat within a short walk from the hotel. It's right by the railroad tracks and there is an outlet mall nearby, but only actual restaurant that is right there is Longhorn BBQ....and it was the worst food I have ever eaten & I don't say that lightly.

« Good Hotel off the Beaten Track »

We were impressed at the quality of service and amenities at this hotel. It was not exactly where we wanted to stay but the extra driving was worth it. We would recommend the hotel to friends and would stay there again.

    « Probably skip it..... »

The place was ok if you have few other options. It's in a weird location off 18 right next to a rail yard so it was loud with trains whistling all night. The room itself was not great. It could have been a lot cleaner and better maintained. There were stains in the bathroom and other places. The vanity is outside the bathroom which is both convenient and annoying because if you need to use the sink in the middle of the night or when someone else is sleeping the light floods the room. The beds were ok. One of them was pushed really far under the puffed headboard so felt really short. The pillows were terrible. I was on a road trip so I brought my own pillow, luckily. The indoor pool was decent but literally nothing worked in that room. The whirlpool jets did not work, the phone to call the front desk didn't work, the water fountain was out of order, etc. The pool itself was ok, seemed clean enough. The front desk folks who helped us were nice enough but there were times a lot of workers were at the front desk and we were ignored. In the morning the maid brigade came through downstairs and you just had to get out of their way. I know their carts are heavy but a whole row of them just moved down the hall without waiting for me or a few others to pass first. Not like we have heavy luggage or anything! Breakfast was a good variety and there was coffee available all day. Other than that, nothing good to say. I wouldn't stay here again.

« Remained due to lack of options »

Although the staff is pleasant, action speaks louder than words. The 'discount' rate of $129 per night was in my opinion an extreme over charge. I have experienced better overall quality for $49.99. Linen was aged and unclean. Room was stale.

    « Tired old dog »

This dog needs some grooming. From the front entrance, where employees take their smoke breaks, to the dingy rooms, to the lobby that smells like yesterday's breakfast, this BW needs to be cleaned, scrubbed and upgraded. I assume they don't care because there are few options in the area.

    « Clean and safe »

Nice hotel, clean, and safe. Right off of main freeway. Friendly guest service. I would stay again. On the other side of town from White River Amphitheater, but an easy drive if you give yourself enough time.

    « Nice Place! »

Stayed for 3 days had a wonderful time went to the Wild Waves Enchanted Village had a great time the breakfast is really good the people are really nice! The kids had a lot of fun here the weather could have been better but that was our fault for coming this late in the year!

« Excellent hotel for Mount Rainier Views »

Hotel is great, great staff and excellent staff with excellent amenities. I was very disturbed that there was a room not far from us where the visitors were smoking weed/drugs and you could smell the damn smell in hallway (though not in our room). I was totally at awe that on one hand you sign for not smoking and $250 fine; yet people smoking drungs/weed freely, WHY? Wake up staff! This was the only down turn, we experienced...

« You don't need to spend a ton of money »

Stayed here one night. A wonderful experience. They have recently remodeled and our room was great....spacious, clean, updated, comfortable. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful, including a free shuttle to Emeralds Down. The morning breakfast could not have been better. Everything was perfect

« Good hotel would stay again »

The hotel staff were very accommodating! We had an issue with the toilet in our first room so the staff offered us a second room in order to right the situation. A courtesy shuttle helped us get to and from an event and was much appreciated.

    « Big mistake »

We had a bad experience- our toilet didn't flush. After the first night we requested it to be fixed. After a long day of hiking we came back to find that it wasn't repaired. We used the lobby restrooms which were filthy. I will stay away from Best western brand.

    « Nice overnight stay »

Nice hotel in industrial area. Very good hot breakfast, comfortable beds, awful pillows. Front desk people had no idea about anything in the area, but Google solved that problem just fine. There is a beautiful waterfront in Tacoma and a Defiance point park about 20 min drive from the property. Overpriced not so good steakhouse nearby. We haven't been to the pool, but it looked nice.

« good place to stay for an overnight or two »

Stayed for two nights with my daughters to visit with each other. I have stayed here several times to go visit. Rooms are always clean, service has always been very good. This time we went and enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool.

    « Overpriced! »

Not too pleased with this Best Western. The lobby is very nice. The men's restroom off the lobby was in need of work. The handle on the door was you couldn't open it to leave. The refrigerator in our room didn't work and the toilet ran after flushing. We left for the day at 7:30 am and when we got back at 5 the room hadn't been cleaned. Breakfast was great.

    « Great Hotel but... »

The breakfast was awesome and the room was very comfortable. BUT it would be nice to have a small pull out bed instead of the two chairs and the sheets kept coming off both beds. Also, there were potato chip wrappers behind the nightstand and a bloody tissue on the sink when we checked in. My kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub.

    « Dissapointed »

This overpriced property doesn't meet the quality standards of a Best Western Plus. This was a nice property a couple of years ago but the rooms have not been properly maintained. They do serve a great breakfast and the fitness center and pool was nice. They advertise that there is a business center, but there isn't any such a thing.

    « Fairly pleased »

A bit noisy due to Industrial area. Staff were very friendly. Room clean. Poor lighting in the room - especially for women needing light for make-up. The staff were not knowledgable about services in the area or how to get to certain places

« Pretty average for a Best Western except they love to feed you! »

Business traveler here and stay in all classes of hotels. Had a meeting not too far from the hotel and per the reviews it was a coin flip between here at the La Quinta across the street. The La Quinta has better reviews but I have Diamond status with Best Western. So, we chose the BW. Diamond got me a bottle of water and 3 peppermint patties, for whatever that's worth. It's a very average budget hotel so none of the amenities stood out to me. Clean, fairly bare bones room and while close to downtown where there are some restaurants and bars, the location is nestled in between some commercial trucking areas so there's not a ton to look at excepting a bunch of 18-wheelers and the big BBQ sign for the BBQ place next door. That having been said two things did stick out: the service from the staff was very good and man, they really love to feed you! Each night there is a Manager's Welcome Party for 21+ and you can get 2 free drinks of either draft beer or some wine if you're a member of the BW Club (free). They also provide popcorn and cheese quesadillas. There's also a very respectable breakfast buffet and omelette station in the mornings. Definitely a ton of people pigging out, for better or worse. Since the price was on par with the LQ I really feel like if you take advantage of their food and drink specials, this a great value play.

« Very Good Best Western »

We stay at a lot of best westerns and have pretty tuned in expectations for the difference between a best western, plus, and premier. This hotel was on the high end of the plus. Nice rooms, gift shop, etc. We just stayed one night but it was good.

« Disappointed, but was fed well. »

Bathroom was not cleaned (hair/urine from previous guest), room floor was not clean (hair/debris), pool is very cold and had no pool towels, breakfast consisted of a variety of hot items including breakfast burritos and was excellent.

    « Perfect. »

I wish I remembered their names but the night auditor "new guy" was very kind and professional during check in. The maintenance man was very kind when he brought me tooth paste, he brought that up real quick. I was having a long night coming from California so I really appreciated their kindness and efficiency. Of course everyone has their own opinions on the pillows but it would have been nice to have bigger pillows (: The ones I slept on were too small. Other than that everything was amazing.

« Nice staff, clean and modern. Smell good. »

The sheets were high quality and the beds comfy. The service was good, and the lobby was classy. It was good to have breakfast, and it was tasty. The 1st floor was quiet. THe Hotel is SO CLOSE to the racetrack, and I just LOVED the INDIAN RELAY!

    « Excellent stay! »

We stayed one night in June 2016 to go to Emerald Downs and the outlet mall. Hotel was easy to find, just around the corner from the outlets and 5 minutes from Emerald Downs. Everything was clean and seemed safe. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was big and beds comfy with lots of pillows. Parking was plentiful. Breakfast looked good (we did not partake but checked it out - lots of options!). Wifi was easy, fast and free. Checkout was a nice late noon. Overall great stay!

    « wonderful stay! »

The staff here went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. they were wonderful to work with. When I go back I will be staying there again. they set the bar high for the Best Western hotels.

« Great place to stay »

While this hotel was the only option for my work conference, it was a great place and I highly recommend it. It is near restraunts and shops. The room was comfortable and I had no issues. The Air Conditioner when set to auto will kick on and off loudly, but that was my error and a simple adjustment fixed the issue. The staff was great and check was a breeze.

    « Pretty Good »

We took a trip to Seattle and did not book a hotel enough in advance so everything was either booked or well over our budget. We finally settled on this place and overall it was great. Our room was clean, free wifi, cable tv, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel. The woman manning the area was kind and helpful, making breakfast burritos for people who wanted them. The only real complain I had was that the walls are thin and you can hear people in the hallways, parking lots and sometimes even in their rooms and the air conditioning kept the room cool but in never got really cool or cold.

« Nice place to stay »

We enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We wish we had known they had a evening meal also. Very nice. The price changed seemed a little high, but it was in June at the start of the vacation period.

    « Disappointing stay »

This hotel carries a better reputation for it's name than it presented. We were very disappointed with our room and the quality of the hotel for the money. We felt the condition of our room was inexcusable for the money and it resulted in us moving to another room the next day. Just a hassle. The second room also had the bathroom fan and a bedside light broken. Had to request those be fixed.

    « Paper thin floors »

Best western is a great place to stay. However on this trip I was on the second floor with the Ice and pop machines above on the 3 floor. I was up all night to the sound of other guest running up and down the halls.

« nice hotel that can improve »

everything was great except some front desk service where one front desk person was nice and the not so good looking front desk person looked maddening. Nice room, might need better art work, breakfast can have more variety.

« Very nice place to stay »

We spent 2 nights here... The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable... It was quiet even with the amount of people that were there. They served a complimentary breakfast in which all of the food was hot and fresh. We will stay again... The staff was polite and friendly...

« Nice hotel, great breakfast »

We have stayed here in the past, which is why we stayed here for a wedding we attended this weekend. The hotel is clean, they have a nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and a small workout room. When we checked in on Thursday, they told us of the happy hour, where they had snacks, fresh quesadillas, and a friendly lady running the show. The next morning we had the continental breakfast, which was far more than a continental breakfast. Not only did they have the eggs, bacon potatoes, they had waffles, made to order omelettes, fresh fruit, cereal yogurt, it was really good, quite a spread they put out. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is helpful and very pleasant, when we come to visit our in laws next time, we will definitely stay here again

    « homie hotel »

well its relatively laid back hotel with many comfort creatures. Its very tucked away off the street in the heart of an industrial lo. So lets say trains and airport. They built and service this solid foundation of a hotel well and its pretty quiet with all the noise. Enjoy your stay.

    « Great family stay »

We stayed 2 nights at the Best Western Mountain View with our 4 kids at hand. It was very comfortable and had an amazing full breakfast. The property is close to a lot of shopping centers and close to the highway so it was easy to get where we needed to be. Will stay again when the time comes.

    « Good choice »

The front desk (evening) was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and nice. I had only 2 issues that I could see. One was not enough jets were working in the hot tub. The second was the fact that there were some sloppy guests that could not pick up after themselves as they hit the floor buttons in the elevator. Not the hotels fault. But a great breakfast was enjoyed the next morning. Overall a pleasant experience.

    « Baseball Mom »

Clean rooms and great breakfast! Rooms were spacious and had a separate living space. Hotel was full to capacity and yet the rooms were very quiet and the breakfast bar was always full with a great variety of items.

    « Super clean »

We stayed for one night at this hotel. The 4 stars are for the dirty curtains with holes in them and the bathtub was stained. It's not like I sleep on the curtains, but they still need to wash/fix them or something. And they should probably change the bathtub, just because it's clean doesn't mean it's gross, especially when people are paying $130 for a room. I love Best Westerns, and would love to change my review if they fix these things. Overall the room was in mint condition, big tv, clean and spacious room!

    « Very Nice! »

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. They have the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Very clean and pretty rooms. Breakfast was nice. Very close to Edmonds Kingston ferry about 30 minutes outside of Seattle.

    « Very Large rooms »

The rooms are very large, the beds very comfortable, ample parking, very close to lots of shopping and a major highway, the breakfast was excellent. It was clean and friendly. I would certainly stay there again.

  • 1
« Poor quality and lack of service »

The service at this hotel was very dissapointing. We were told that the hot tub was broken and not usable. The indoor pool area was a bit small and there were very loud kids playing and basically ran everybody out because of the noise. The pull out bed was broken and there wasnt any maintenace personel to assist with fixing it. The front counter staff said that they couldnt move us to another room. They were going to assist, but never showed up so our guests had to sleep on the floor. The rooms looked like they have been remodeled, but little attention to detail. The bathroom fan was held on with tape and the mirrored door was broked.

« Not a nice area to take your dog walking »

This property had large rooms, but poor service by front desk. Many vagrants and drugs/alcohol users around the property caused us to cut all our walks short. Lots of garbage on the ground. Didn't feel safe or relaxed.

    « Large Rooms »

I was surprised at the size of the room. Almost overwhelming for 1 person. I did not like the partition of the living and bed area. The king size bed was very comfortable. Loved the shampoo and shower gels in the bathroom! Staff was busy but pleasant!

« Nice room, short staffed front desk. »

We had a renovated room on the 4th floor. Other rooms were still being worked on and the workers will still at work in other rooms when we arrived. A strong smell of paint was present. They were pleasant enough and stopped work around 5:00. The room was okay, although an odd mix of old and new furnishings. New chairs, new carpet, old microwave, old tile in the bathroom, old coffee maker and old fridge. The lamp in the sitting area did not work. The air conditioning worked, but was pretty loud. I don't think it was new. There was one person at the front desk when we arrived. She was on the phone taking a new reservation. After a bit of a wait, we were checked in. I stopped at the desk some time later and she was again on the phone taking a reservation. Later, while waiting for friends in the lobby, several people were in line to check in, and the employee was again on the phone. They really need another person at the front desk and another manning the phone - especially in the afternoon and evening when people are checking in. Although the location seems a bit seedy, it was overall a nice stay. We will stay again if in the area.

    « Rainy stay »

Came for a short visit with my daughter. Decided to stay at this hotel. Nice, clean and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the room was pretty big. Lots of shopping and entertainment nearby.

« Not a lot of choices in Auburn »

Facility was average, but clean. Rates were high considering it's a "plain jane" hotel in an older small city. I am used to amenities and comforts found in slightly more upscale hotels, which this hotel can't offer. It would be easy to complain, since i generally stay at much nicer properties, but it's very likely the best that Auburn has to offer.

« Black mold, my room smelled bad. »

Room has black mold, Sheetrock coming down. Another room I stayed in had a shattered mirror and tore up seats. My coworker said his room smelled strongly of weed. The free breakfast coffee was burnt and tasted horrible everyday. Eggs tasted bad.

« Sheets Covered in Hair, Faucets, broken, and counters dirty »

We have stayed at this hotel for several years when we are in town for swim meets. The last stay in January 2016 was not the best but this time it was bad. Up on entering the room first thing I notice is one of the 2 faucets spins in a complete circle the other one does the same but not as loose. My son sits down to eat as the desk and it is covered in crusty old food. I go down to the front desk, show her a video of the sink and request some cleaning supplies so we can wipe the counters down. I don't trust anything was cleaned so I clean it all including the bath. An hour later I pull back the covers to climb into bed, there were long black hairs on the sheets I turn my phone light on to get a better look; there were over 20 long hairs that we counted quickly. I go to the front desk, the poor front desk clerk says she will be up in a few minutes. She calls me after I return to the room, says she is the only one there. Says she can offer me this suite as it's the only room left. Its now after 11 pm, we are unpacked, son is already sleeping and we have a 5:30 am wake up. I go look at the other room, try to turn a light on and the wall plate falls off, the light buy the bed doesn't work. Finally go down to the front desk and ask for complete new bedding and I change it all myself. The night manager offers me a $50 credit for my 4 night stay. Needless to say we will not be staying there again.

« Good hotel for business »

This hotel is good to use for business travel. It has in room fridge and microwave so you can store your week's worth of drinks and snack foods. Good location with easy access to any of the industrial parks, mall, Wal-Mart, etc.

« Great place. Very friendly staff. Will stay again »

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was kept well stocked, but we would have like the bacon to be a little more done. The staff at breakfast kept our coffee cup full and the tables clean. The front desk staff went out of their way to help in any way. We will be back.

  • 3
    « Average »

My stay was average. The location is too far from the airport, given morning traffic, and the service was not impressive, nor was the bathroom clean -- had some loose hairs.... I found it difficult to affect my tax exempt status at the front desk, which was frustrating.

    « Served my purpose »

Nice staff. Good rooms. Internet was dependable. Breakfast was very good. Access to the city was comfortable although there are limited eating establishments within walking distance. Great outlet mall close.

    « Nice Value »

The room was nice and the beds were not too soft like many hotels. My only real complaint was that the scrambled eggs had sausage in them instead of on the side and they were rubbery and tasteless. They have a good selection of other food, but I don't eat dairy, grains or anything with gluten. So, I was limited to the eggs and fruit. Our teen enjoyed the pool, ping pong table and exercise room.

    « Nothing Special »

The fan to the air conditioning/heat was extremely loud and the floor in the entry way/bathroom appeared to be dirty. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to where I was going and it was also close to shopping and dinning.

    « Long Stay travel »

This place was great. They have a indoor pool that is always open. The employees are always helpful and nice. The breakfast was decent but they were upgrading it as I was leaving. The employees do everything they can to make you feel comfortable.

    « vollyball tournament »

Stayed three days for a volleyball tournament, staff were very accommodating, breakfast was ready and waiting making it a fast and easy way to have breakfast on the run. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long day of volleyball. Close to the outlet mall convenient for shopping and movie theater we were able to take in a movie during our down time.

Second time I stayed in this hotel. Staff friendly and the happy hour had Chicken dumpling soup. She also put out the left over fried rice from the night before. That was nice having two choices even though there wasn't a lot of fried rice left I appreciate businesses who try not to waste food. Beer selection was great. Breakfast was an average breakfast. They did have scramble eggs mixed with meat and fried potatoes.

    « Longterm visit »

I stayed here a month at time for 3 months. Everyone has been super nice and very helpful. They were very gracious with all the packages we had delivered to the hotel. They even held 2 packages for a couple weeks while waiting on me to come back in to town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was like a home away from home.

« This place has gone downhill, can't recommend it anymore. »

Have stayed here in the past, but have found it has really gone downhill in the last year, despite the renovations that are being done to the hotel. I took a friend, telling them it was a great hotel to stay at based on past experience, but was very embarrassed at what I found. There was construction dirt and debris in the hallways and elevator, the carpets were dirty. The linens, including the quilt, were extremely wrinkled and looked like someone had already slept in them. There were stains on the pillowcase, and the quilt. The bathroom had a strong urine smell. The bathroom towels were thin and thread bare and frayed on the edges. There was no shampoo or soap for the shower. They have switched from those little individual bottles to a large dispenser on the shower wall, but it was empty. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. When the maid finally brought some, it was extremely wrinkled and the quilt had stains on it. When we opened the sofa bed to use it, the mattress was covered in dirt. The desk chair in the room was filthy. The pool was over chlorinated, and the hot tub had bugs floating in it. I expressed my concerns to management, but was just told "We are sorry you aren't happy". No offer of a discount or anything, and I am a Best Western Rewards member!

    « Business trip »

Very comfortable very pleasant staff the pool and hot tub were very convenient as it is open 24 hours. Breakfast service is average, hotel offers an evening refreshment with a complementary snack which was very nice and is not usually customary rooms were basic clean and comfortable noise level was not a problem. However as long as you don't need the Internet service your stay would be enjoyable. The Internet service in this hotel worked very little at best. This makes it very unfortunate. If you're traveling for business.

    « Bad Start »

Booked through their website. Received confirmation email and #. Tried to check-in but they couldn't find my confirmation. Fortunately Malia kept us calm and got us a room, we still had to pay. My concern was being double-charged. Headquarters were extremely unhelpful. The following day customer service WAS helpful and management from hotel called me promptly. Hopefully it has been squared-away. Room was clean and updated. We didn't have hot water, they switched our room immediately. The closet was shut and wouldn't open. Doors are paper-thin. Two rooms down we could hear complete conversations at 11pm at night. At least we had hot water in the morning. Breakfast was great....lots of options. Worth the money if you're only staying one night!!!

    « Great location! »

Great central location if you're looking to be near the outlet mall. It's just around the corner. Close and easy access to the Muckleshoot Casino. Seconds to Highway 18 and Highway 167. Longhorn BBQ right next door and they deliver to the room!

    « Family Trip »

Excellent place to stay that was close to our grandkids home in the Seattle area. Nice quiet nights sleep even with the moving trains in the area. Bed was excellent, room was clean with lots of room. Breakfast was excellent. Off the major highways so the traffic noise was null.

    « very nice hotel »

This was a good experience. The rooms were large, beds super comfy. there was a train nearby, so that was a bit noisy. The breakfast was nice, staff nice, lobby nice. i would stay here again. pool looks good, although i did not use it.

    « Love the staff! »

Closure of Snoqualmie Pass prompted our stay at this hotel, but it will not be our last. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A lamp bulb burned out and was replaced within Minutes of my reporting it. Ditto for the remote that decided to quit working. Clean rooms and comfy beds, comfy sitting area, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Great restaurant next door (Longhorn). Was a little hard to find in dark and rain. We missed the sign the first time by. Easy access to Hwy 18

    « One night wasn't enough! »

Easy freeway access location, beautiful lobby, great breakfast spread with lots of seating & super nice room = we wish we were staying for more than 1 night. It's also conveniently located in the same parking lot as a fantastic bbq restaurant + really close to an outlet mall so something for the guys & gals! When in Auburn again, we're definitely staying here : )

« Clean, comfortable, great staff »

Would highly reccommend this hotel to people travelling in the Auburn area. Close to amenities (huge mall!), disc golf course nearby, and the staff are very friendly. Rooms were clean, hotel was quiet - even though there was a sports team staying there, the halls were quiet, and it was easy to get some sleep!

« Nice overnight in Auburn »

Nice Hotel. Quiet. Good Breakfast and friendly staff. The location was near a large mall and was quite near a downtown area. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. I would stay again if I were in the area!

« best western auburn wa »

this was a beautiful complaints here .after traveling over snoqualime pass in the worst winter conditions we accidentaly found thi motel in auburn wa . and so glad we did. price was fair and service was outstanding. would recommend this property to anyone

« Tinny sounding flat screen RCA TV's »

I write the following to assist the GM. I check in and a housekeeper doing a room check does not knock and instead just uses her pass key and walks in. A true NO NO in the hotel business where al staff are instructed to knock and wait for obvious reasons. Ask for a quiet room and get placed in a room sitting over the exhaust fans . . . . (sigh). You might want to advise Front Desk that your even room numbers face the quiet side and the odd numbered rooms face the front. 9pm and they are out of their peppermint tea and the hot water dispenser is luke warm. Suggest that the GM puts on an SOP for staff to double check beverage station Reasonably priced hotel

    « Elevator »

Service was great. Breakfast was great. Managers reception was a nice idea, but a waste of time.Pool was too cold to use and it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Elevators were out of order, that must be why they suggested I stay on the fourth floor!

« Overall good yet desk help has checked out »

I stayed one night Noisy doors banging shut next door up until one a.m. and again in the morning-this woke me up a couple times The beds are clean and comfortable-the rooms are updated-I was in the 140 wing The exercise room was locked and the pool FREEZING When I checked in 2 young women seemed checked OUT Someone pried open my gas door on my expensive car and I guess they wanted to syphon gas?! It was parked right under the main windows in front of the hotel yet my car was still vandalized The hotel sites next to a bar and railroad tracks The girls at the desk just don't seem to understand or explain anything when billing came around. They don't seem very friendly or smart The maids were great and breakfast was so/so...the eggs were horrible Clean is important and it is clean.

    « service poor »

Check in was poor. did not offer us our water at check in. I gave the check in clerk our travel coupone and they never took it off our room. 1 the most convenant elevaters did work and the other work some times. they put me on the 4 th floor and didnt let me know about the issue. The last day the maid didnt leaves us any towels or coffee. Looking out side the window i could see that the guttor was handing off the roof. Might wont to find another hotel.

« Great Staff, OK Hotel »

The good: Caring, helpful, professional staff. Free drinks Mon-Thurs in the lounge. Good breakfast selection. Huge rooms that are laid out very well. The bad: The room we were in looked like someone had tried to break into it at one point. The door frame was bent and twisted, which allowed in tons of light from the hallway during the night. Further, the soundproofing was terrible. We could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway, which was made worse by the fact there were very noisy guests partying in the hallway. Staff did come tell them to be quiet, but it was still not a great experience. I understand that the noisy guests aren't the fault of the hotel, but any sort of soundproofing would have helped. Good selection of breakfast items, but they ran out of yogurt and other things well before breakfast closed. The mattress and pillows were low quality, so sleep wasn't great. This hotel could be much better if they fixed the mattresses and sound problem, but I wouldn't stay here again.

« fun place to stay for outlet mall and if you are tired on a long drive. »

I have enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus Peppertree. During the week they offer the managers reception, an that is a lovely feature of checking in and the price is right! My room was comfortable. There is a nice store and there is a pool and hot tub, as well as close to the outlet mall. The first time I stayed here we had been driving so long I needed to stop and rest before I fell asleep behind the wheel and it was just lucky this was the next hotel we saw. As a result I came back and stayed here on purpose the next time, and then commuted into Kent for my business meeting, and it was only 15 mins away.

    « Can't Hear »

Ask for room close to exit door 3 times, they assured me yes, yes. Put on 4th floor away from elevator but close to the stairs. Ask for a 7:30 wake up call, it came at 6:30. Some staff are great, but the front desk doesn't pay attention.

    « Always the best choice :) »

Very nice, elegant ,and accessible besides reasonable. My family always enjoys this hotel for it's warm environment, all the amenities and most importantly the pool. The kids always enjoy themselves. Very relaxed and staff are willing to help in any way they can whether suggesting restaurants, shopping, directions, or just being able to relax, no hassles....yay, see you again :)

« Very Nice Hotel Experience »

The Peppertree Best Western in Auburn Washington is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and large. It is nice that they have a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel was quiet and the exterior was taken care of very well. It is close to shopping and right off the freeway so it is easy to get there.

    « A Slice of Heaven »

The Best Western PLUS Peppertree Auburn Inn is a little slice of heaven for weary business travelers. Exceptional staff and tremendous value ... you simply can't go wrong with this hotel. I highly recommend it anytime you are in the Auburn, WA area. it is simply the best.

« Beautiful hotel with nice amenities »

Stay here with a competitive youth team. The breakfast, pool and workout room were very nice amenities. The hotel lobby and rooms were lovely and looked newly remodeled. Staff patient and helpful. The breakfast has a great variety including some protein but it's typical buffet quality.

« Great location for a family visit »

Location was perfect for a family visit and room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was as expected and acceptable. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean and lots of power outlets available to use. Will be back on the next trip to see the family there.

« Decent accomodation decent amenities clean and quiet »

One night stay enroute. Convenient to shopping and I5. Large room with two comfy queen beds. Nice to have 2 sinks not in washroom. At the rate we got at the day before, this was excellent value for money. Staff were helpful, fridge and microwave in room. Wifi is quick. Only downside is the cleaner they use, room was clean, but I am not fond of that rather industrial aroma attached. Minor pet peeve. Definitely stay here again.

    « Owner/Operator »

I will stay at this Best Western next travel again. And I will recommend this Best Western Plus. One thing, I have to move to find out bending machine because this machines are located 1st & 3rd floor. So, this location is just a little bit uncomfortable to find out. My room is located at 4th floor. Except this thing, everything is good. Especially, room is excellent.

    « Nice »

Place was exactly what we expected from a BW. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was rock hard and awkward but 100 percent typical of Best Westerns. Breakfast was better than other brands in the same price range.

    « friendly hotel »

This hotel has a very nice lobby and breakfast area. They are very close drive to MuckleShoot casino and they also offer a shuttle to take you there. The Rooms are very nice and have lots of room. Only thing wrong is the bed was a little to firm for me. We wold stay there again.

« Nice place to stay at »

Stayed on night, comfortable and clean, morning breakfast was good. It has a pool and hot tub open 24/7 but didn't have a chance to use it. Friendly staff. --- To Trip advisor, 200 characters really!! my survey of you is, take what you get, don't annoy someone who is filling out a form for 15 minutes then tell him his description has to be 200 characters!!!!

    « Nice and clean »

Nice room, good continental breakfast, well worth the money and it was reasonable also. Well done! Nice to stay at such a good place. Will stay here again. Friendly staff Just don't understand why I have to write 200 characters to say, well done!

« Noisy, amenities not very good »

I was very disappointed with my stay. A/C stopped working - couldn't be fixed until the next day - it was very hot in my room-no soap in dispenser, no ice except on 1st floor-no wake up call when requested - no cream for my coffee - had to go to the desk to get a TV guide - I was put in a handicapped room and I am not handicapped - I worried that I was using a room that a handicapped person might need - the desk people said not to worry. The apparel the desk people wore was very unprofessional and no name tags or Best Western logo Very noisy from the trains a block away - used their horns in the middle of the night as they were crossing roads

« Updated hotel still undergoing some renos »

An older hotel that gone thru quite a bit of updating. We had a 'two queen' room which was enough for a family of 4 + a portable bed for my 3 year old. Good thing we woke up earlier because there were renos that happened right outside our room which was somewhat disruptive. Had we known, we would of requested for another room. Came with complimentary breakfast which is always good but it had fewer selections that others that I've stayed at.
