Best Western Plus Woodstock Inn & Suites

Clean facility, comfortable and clean suite. I especially liked the bay window and the large washroom with a soaker tub. Made my business trip very comfortable. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again when i travel to Woodstock.

Not many options for halal, cor, veg options in the breakfast. Receptionist on Feb08 at 6:30 am during my check out was rude. It seemed that though I was a platinum member but had not value. Very upset

Very convenient location for a night out with all kinds of amenities and shopping & restaurants around the location. Close to all major highways for your convenience. Walking distance to plazas for shopping and spending time.

Waited 10 mins for clerk at checkin, but found out later she was assisting with making up rooms due to short staffing. Well done. Once back at desk was very attentive and recognized the gold star membership

A very nice stay for those needing to rest while travelling the dreaded 401 or have a youth hockey tournament in the area. Comes with a breakfast in the morning that is fine. The coffee is actually good.

This place is great for families. They actually made us feel welcome. We have three kids and they offered extra blankets and pillows and talked to our kids during check-in. The hotel was clean and the breakfast had hot and cold options and everything was clean and fresh.

We really like the Best Western in Woodstock. The hotel is super clean, staff are friendly and approachable. The price was very competitive. We like it so much here that we will drive extra kilometers to stay at this BW.

Amazing stay. Great hotel very clean nice amenities and a great location. It's close enough to stuff but in a quiet area which is really nice. I would highly recommend and if I'm ever back in the area will be staying again here for sure.

Quick highway access. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was standard fare for mid-range hotel. Rooms were comfortable with anticipated amenities. Indoor pool with nice attached patio available, but we were not able to schedule it in..

Rooms were good and clean. Reception area was spacious and clean and girls were very nice. Hotel was in a great location and close to all amenities. Breakfast was so-so! Coffee was great, but eggs were cold and sausages didn't have much taste. Overall, not a bad stay!

Have stayed here several times. Always great staff, clean quiet rooms, and good breakfast and internet. Close to lots of amenities. Shops and Restaurants. Very close to 401 highway. Haven't used the pool in while but it was very relaxing last time it.

I have stayed at this hotel before - no issues. This time totally different. Checked in 10 pm - tired, and wanting to get some sleep because had to leave by 5am next morning. Booked reservation directly with them by phone months in advance for 2 beds. Upon going into room - was given wheel chair accessible 1 bed. Then there was all kinds of noise - doors slamming, kids running and being loud. Called front desk 2x - told hockey teams were warned. Noise continued even after midnight. Upon arriving home that evening - find out that I was also overcharged. I called next morning and talked to Amy and was told that someone changed my reservation and that the hotel had no control over the noise. I pointed out that there are quiet times at hotels. I also pointed out that I was overcharged and that I had confirmation email with rate. I forwarded her the email. Not impressed with response that I was given.

Our room was very nice and clean, just as pictured. The beds were comfortable and the hotel itself was clean. Service was good too! The breakfast was nice with a lot of options. My only complaint is that we could hear people going up and down the stairs at 2:30 a.m. Advice: make sure your room is not beside a stairwell. We didn't even realize this until we heard the noise during the night. The walls adjacent to the stairwell should have better soundproofing. But frankly, patrons should be in bed by 2:30 a.m. or stay in their room!

We found the staff at this location very customer focused. They were always willing to help make our stay a very enjoyable experience. We attended a wedding and came home late in the morning, the cleaner was getting the area ready for breakfast. The area was dark. I asked if I could get a tea and latte from the machine. She said sure you can and helped me make it to take up to my room.

Great spot to stay. Affordable, close to arena and all food options. Close to the 401. The staff was very accommodating to our large group (hockey team) They allowed us to use the lobby as a meeting spot.

We were checked in quickly. We had a problem with our room and were given a new room right away. We enjoyed an afternoon swim and an evening workout. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. We have stayed here several times.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff were helpful, always available and kind. The rooms were clean and tidy, The beds were softer then expected. If you want firm, ask if there are firmer beds. The continental breakfast was good overall. There were scrambled eggs and greasy sausage patties. There was a variety of breads and beverages both hot and cold in the dispensing machines. There was a waffle maker area, The sitting area was a good size and well kept. The pool area was nice, music playing and a clean sight into the workout room. There were no towels in the pool area however, lots of area to sit.

The front desk staff were friendly, polite and quick. The breakfast in the morning was nice. On checking in they also provided me a few complimentary bottles of water which was a nice gesture considering it was around 2 AM in the morning and I did not want to go out again for travel supplies. While the room was clean, it could have been more cleaner. The refrigerator door compartments were a little dirty as were the AC vents. The cleanliness of the bed side table, bed sheets and bathroom was good though. Not too far off 401.

I recently experienced a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Very clean hotel at a reasonable cost. Good complimentary breakfast included. Clean swimming pool and fitness room also available. The room was spacious and comfortable; as was the king size bed.

Friendly staff, good variety for the complimentary breakfast each morning, sofabed was terrible to sleep on, couple of things didn't work in our room - the fan in bathroom and the heat, but the heat was fixed within minutes when we let them know. The pool was very nice, warm and clean. The room decor is pretty funny looking, but everything was very clean in our rooms.

Clean, tastefully decorated hotel with a personable and professional staff. Great price for the value we received. We recommend this hotel for the cleanliness, appearance and amenities. Would return to this location whenever required again.

We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. The room was bigger and more elegant than expected. We were just expecting your everyday normal hotel room and this was more like a suit. It was bright,clean and modern. We would definitely stay there again if in town.

Hotel was average. Staff was very nice. Air conditioner made lots of noise. But the worst was that, this hotel's room can be booked for $102.00 including taxes. We were charged $545.00 for 2 nights. I am a world traveler and it never happened to me before.

Room was nice and clean. It was a good breakfast with the regular eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, cereal etc. Coffee and tea available all day. Staff were nice although waited a bit to be greeted when I arrived.

Pros: good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and common areas were nice and clean. Pool was good. Cons: bugs in the bathroom, the breakfast was mediocre, we had a 5am fire alarm which was awful. expensive for what you get in my opinion

The room was clean and had everything needed. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. I appreciated the early morning breakfast and coffee. Check-in and out was quick and staff friendly. I would recommend for business and family.

This is a really nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Rates are really good. We stayed in the King Suite. Nice room with two bathrooms. Separate room for those early risers. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wanted to love our stay but I think the lack of staffing is affecting the quality of the hotel. The elevator is dirty, carpets are stained throughout the halls and even in our room. We pulled out the hide a bed and there were remnants of potato chips on the sheets. Breakfast was typical but coffee was not great. Staff was friendly.

We all gathered in Woodstock and decided to stay at this Best Western Plus at a relatively moderate + rate. Come to find out that it was not clean. Carpet in the room was dirty and the smell of Febreeze was stifling. Come to find out the place was full of young sport players. Well, no sleep was to be had till (4:00 AM) . Included in the price a Continental breakfast was supposed to be available from 6:30 -10. Nope, by 8:30 - 9 place was cleaned out. Nothing to be had, not even coffee. No compensation was offered on departure. It's ok if you want to fill your hotel this way but have consideration for the other guests who paid a lot of money to stay there. Never again.

Clean, close, pool looked like fun, many used it. service was there when I needed it. Close to everything and quiet. I would and probably will go back. Breakfast was not what I hoped, but had some variety for sure, preferred the scrambled eggs and link sausage.

Usually stay at other hotels in Woodstock but decided to give the Best Western Plus a go. Good location just off 401 with retail and restaurant locations with easy walking distance. Room was clean but dated. Quiet location away from road noise and although hotel was busy, we were not disturbed once in 3 night stay. A few issues however during our 4 night stay. The cleanliness of the elevator and corridor we were on (3rd floor) was poor. The corridor carpet on our floor was badly needing vacuumed on our arrival.....this was still not tackled by the 4th day on our departure . The elevator was also not cleaned/swept out once during our stay which was very noticeable due to spillages. This really made hotel feel unclean, despite room being very well maintained - clearly something is going wrong somewhere if room can be spotless but other areas not. This hotel is also not servicing rooms yet, and although not informing us this on arrival, there was then a sign up later on in the week saying it was due to covid-staffing shortage - no offer of some money back or off of room despite not getting full service. $120 dollars a night for a room that isnt even getting serviced is way to high for the quality you are getting .Also they ran out of coffee so could offer us any for room - but quite happy to say they have 24 hour coffee in lobby - yes but this is machine coffee, hardly fresh. Breakfast was good and you could always get a seat/table. Staff member always refreshing options and ensuring there was ample choice. Will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express just a couple of hundred yards up the road next time, as although slightly more expensive, never had any issues with cleanliness etc. I think this hotel is struggling to maintain Best Western Plus standards in relation to the 6 others I have stayed in within Ontario over last month - maybe a review is needed.

We were on our way back from Grand Bend and decided to visit our friend leaving in the area. I book the suite with the king bed. To my surprise it was the apartment!!! 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with FULLY equipped kitchen, modern and clean. Breakfast (included) have variety of both hot and cold items. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to my family and friends.

From the front desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff, everyone was extra helpful and friendly. Woodstock is an out-of-the-way place coming from Toronto, so not a normal destination for us. We would like to return after our experiences this time. We enjoyed a great stay!

Booked this hotel for a mini getaway with the jacuzzi tub room. The room was clean and modern. Flat screen tv, blue ray player, microwave and mini fridge included. Pool was nice as well. Breakfast was also include with a nice assortment of both hot and cold items. Coffee is also available hot 24 hours. Will stay again.

Friendly , kind, lots of smiles , good customer service : example if you needed something they were happy to get it for you Canada wide had a internet issue , this hotel was very very patient , the printer was slow getting people their receipts , the lady apologized and was very gracious about it

There are cheaper hotels in the area but the rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. It might feel a little expensive but it's a good balance between quality and price in my opinion. The hotel has a fitness centre and pool but I didn't have the time to use them. Central location to almost everything in town as well. Close to the train station and/or highways.

Overall experience was very enjoyable. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. I loved the fact that it was non smoking and didn't allow pets due to my allergies. The breakfast offered lots of choices and had helpful staff on duty for assistance. Very quiet and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to my family and friends.

Stayed in a King Suite, fantastic room, large, comfortable and super clean. Front desk staff accommodated our early check in request on a busy Saturday (wedding was at 3pm, let us check in early at 1:30pm). They also were helpful giving us a number for a taxi and complimented our wedding outfits when we were leaving, super nice! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Bed - comfy, room - nice, shower - slippery but good water pressure, pool - enjoyable. As long as you don't need quick service to check in or out, or a yummy breakfast, this place is okay. Hot items for breakfast were cold. Coffee machine broken, no apple juice, breads were stale, little else on offer.

I had 10 nights in the jacuzzi suite and loved every minute. The staff are very helpful and breakfast was hot and welcome break in the morning. Thanks and I will stay again when I visit Woodstock from Thunder Bay

staff at this hotel were amazing - hats off to Florence for booking (and amending) my stay to meet my initially unknown needs at the time. She was knowledgeable, flexible and very accommodating and guaranteed no charge for the additional day booked (as a back up) if I called before her shift ended. 5-star rating for her alone. Staff at check in were also very helpful and because I had to continue to isolate prior to my surgery, they offered excellent food recommendations and local food delivery options. My guest had the convenience of dropping me off at 6am for for my surgery based on close proximity to the Woodstock Hospital, to return to a delicious breakfast and luxury of waiting in the comfortable room (vs. waiting room at the hospital). The only thing I might suggest is consideration of offering a "hospital rate" although the rate Florence was able to offer me was very reasonable.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Woodstock to support my brother who was dying from Pancreatic Cancer at the Woodstock Hospital. All of the staff, whether front desk, breakfast, or cleaning staff were caring, flexible and helpful people. They went out of their way to help me, were flexible, asked each time I entered and exited about my brother and could not have made my difficult any stay better. The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable, and common areas are welcoming. When they knew that I had do some laundry, they even said if I encountered any difficulty with the guest machines, that they would do my laundry for me! They should be teaching other hotels what customer service is all about. I cannot thank them enough.

We booked this hotel for a hockey tournament. Our kids were running around everywhere, God bless the staff. They booked times for each team to have the pool to ourselves which I thought was a nice touch. Free breakfast every morning and the pool temperature was hot, so nice! I would stay again.

We got a call late at night that a family member was gravely ill and not expected to survive the night. We rushed to Woodstock arriving at 2:30 am. The relative was in surgery, so while we awaited word, we looked for a hotel to accomodate us all. (4 Adults) We were able to rest and get a bit of respite as we awaited word. Sadly the outcome was not what we hoped for. The hotel, thanks to a great location, allowed us a space and a place to breathe and cry.

Very nice hotel for the value. Staff and manager are very nice and pleasant to deal with. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. Swimming pool and exercise room are a great amenity for the value

The cleanliness of this location has gone down hill. I come to woodstock to vist family multiple times a year and this was my hotel of choice when I came to town but I will be trying the holiday Inn express down the street next time.

The staff there was very welcoming and Amanda was excellent. She was very good. She took the time out of her busy schedule to help us when there was a need. Also making the childern feel welcomed at the hotel.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to main road where there are restaurants and shopping. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Would absolutely stay here again . Couldn't ask for more.

While everyone working at this hotel was nice and as accommodating as could be, out stay wasn't exactly enjoyable due to the fact the most of the hotel was booked by youth hockey teams in town for a tournament. Nothing but kids running up and down the staircases and in the hallways in the morning and evening. Although quiet time was supposed to be at 10pm, it wasn't really until shortly after 11pm that things calmed down. I guess this situation really isn't the staff's fault, and they did their best to contain noise, but still...I really don't think I'd stay here again.

great hotel for travel between toronto and windsor. price much better than toronto or kitchener or cambridge breakfast included, nice pool, close to resturants. not noisy or too busy, very good co-vid precautions

The staff made our stay very comfortable and welcoming. They were so helpful and accommodating. The room was nice and the wifi worked great! We were there to be close to a family member in the hospital and they were so supportive, they made a tough time in our lives as comfortable as it could be.

I attended a funeral in Tillsonburg and stayed in Woodstock at this property which was not too far. The hotel is so clean as are the rooms and so comfortable. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Special thanks go to Florence.

We usually stay at Best Western Woodstock visiting family who live there. A catastrophic car accident killed our daughter in law, and we had to go to Woodstock. I have not travelled since COVID. We were treated with so sympathy. Flowers were put into our room. We are back there for 2 other visits in the next month. We have always had great service with this Best Western. They are fabulous

A sign on the hotel entrance reminded guests to wear a mask, Inside, staff were sitting on the lobby sofas without masks afternoon and morning. The place was clean but I'd rather not have carpet in the room. The A/C was very noise and had only off/on control for the fan. The fridge whined annoyingly but being half asleep, I couldn't figure out what the noise was. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel location was handy. Bathroom floor grout needs cleaning & bed was too high.

Hotel was fine for one night. Our room was clean though hallway could have used vacuuming. The girl at the front desk at check in was super sweet and helpful. Unfortunately the staff at checkout was a different story. 3 staff members sat around chairs in the lobby swearing talking obnoxiously about other staff members/guests. When we walked out they continued their conversation like we weren't there. When we said we wanted to check out one of them called from her chair asking what room and to just throw our room key on the counter.

A very nice place to stay. Clean, quiet, and especially offering the hot breakfast during the COVID-19 time, but everything follows the COVID-19 protocol. Believing it would be much better pre or after pandemic time. Definitely would like to come back.

Such friendly and cheerful staff. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. They have a lovely pool but wish there was a hottub. Breakfast was fine considering the Covid restrictions. The location is great - central.

The first night the fire alarm went off twice once around 11:00 p.m. and the other time at 1:30 a.m. and both times we evacuated our room. There was no apology or compensation offered for that night. There were numerous lights not working in our room which we reported the first day and no one attempted to fix them especially when it could have been as easily as a light bulb replaced which was disappointing. The front desk staff and breakfast stuff were excellent and very helpful during our stay

After a year of staying home, my wife and I ventured out with our granddaughters for a little two night getaway. Returned to this property as we are familiar with the area and the plenty of dining options. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Great hotel. We came for the pool and it was great (pool had just re-opened with Ont. entering Stage 3). Everything was smooth sailing (the pool opened Friday, and we came the next day). My kids and I had a great time.

This BW is really a gem. A bit away from other hotels and well worth going that wee bit farther. Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff are great. The breakfast wad ready in morn in lunch bags for a quick grab and go. It was nice to not have to track down breakfast and just hit road.

The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have a perfect stay. The hotel rooms are spotless and very comfortable. At this time with Covid-19 all around us, we felt safe that everything was clean and sterile. Wonderful hotel with amazing staff.

Just ask and any staff will give suggestions to local restaurants and places to visit in Woodstock and local areas. During this visit we went to the Antique Mall ( WOW ) and a local FAVE restaurant THE Pancake House ( try anything... quick pleasant service , low price includes great portions) . Although our visits are during the Pandemic... friendly SMILES behind the MASK are very noticeable.

Their service was great, and they have a great staff working at the Woodstock location where I stayed at. They were always very helpful and accommodating. Stayed while I attended school and they were always so welcoming.

My husband & I needed a little getaway. We have stayed at this hotel in the past & have family in area so decided to try it again. With Covid-19 weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at the safety measures in place & that they were actually followed by staff we encountered. The place was spotless service good & friendly. Breakfast was a bag breakfast you heat up. All things considered it was good. Would recommend that you get to it earlier rather than later as it sits in bag by front desk. Not sure that is the best but otherwise highly recommended this hotel.

Fast check in. Always greeted with a smile and hello when entering and leaving. Staff limited in what they can do due to current situation of COVID however they did an awesome job. Amy, the general manager, answered all questions over the phone. Always stayed here when visiting family members. Due to my partners health, we required an access room and were not disappointed.

Awesome stay, just what we needed. Nice and relaxing, clean room and nice and quiet clean pool. This is the 4th different Best Western we have stayed at and have only had 1 bad experience. Thank you for a great stay. Much needed.

Said no problem to a late checkout then charged a late fee for being a few min late. Even though the hotel was empty. One staff hung up on me when I called about the fee then the manager wrote a rude email saying 'the person' that checked out was told about the fee. Nobody physically checked out as it is always an express checkout on my many stays there before! What they were insinuating by 'the person' I don't know. Disgraceful service in a time where they are starving for business and should be kinder not ruder. Guess they needed the easy immediate money rather than keeping previously loyal customers. Shame!

Nice room, clean, everything worked. However there is no safe path to access or leave this hotel unless you are in a vehicle. No footpath, no sidewalks, you have to use the driveway and then move into the street where there is no sidewalk, follow that across an intersection, go in the opposite direction of the town to be able to get onto the one sidewalk. It's not safe.

Check in is quick & easy & so is check out. Staff is helpful & can always point you in the right direction for what you need. I insist on a clean hotel or I will not stay & I have never had an issue with any BW location

When we checked in to the hotel, the look on the woman's face who checked us in was just appalled. We had come from a construction job and had to go shower and change - but her demeanor was nothing short of judgemental and disrespectful. Then when we came back later that night after finishing the job, we chose to come in the side door as to allow for as much social distancing as possible because of Covid. The response to us using the side door - with our HOTEL KEY - was one as if we had just broken into a space we didn't belong. Then in the morning, at 10 am (check out is 11) when we go to retrieve a new key because they had turned our keys off, the woman at the front desk goes "so are you leaving yet so we can clean the room?". First of all, no my son is still sleeping. Second of all, you have 4 people staying in the whole hotel because of Covid so I am almost positive you don't need to rush us out to prepare for a party about to arrive. And thirdly, now that you've disarmed my key because you feel I should leave early, you will wait until I am ready to leave because that behaviour is deplorable. I am appalled.

Unprofessional, incompetent. They would rather switch your room then clean the room you book. That is trailer trash! Of course it is Woodstock. They called me the day I had the room booked to say they didn't want to clean the room I booked and would move to another room. I said no! They said, I guess we'll get someone in to clean it. So they are leaving rooms dirty for days on end? And with whats going now! That is gross! Don't go here!

The staff here make you feel so welcome. Amanda was really exceptional. She has a great way of making sure that all the guests needs are being met The rooms are small but clean and updated. Great common area and a well kept pool.

Had a good stay overall 1 big problem was the parking. We use handicap parking and for the 3 days we were there it was full of snow and ice and totally unacceptable. After telling the front desk 4 times we finally got some help Don't know her name but the front desk clerk that worked Saturday March 1 2020 was totally amazing She went out herself and cleared around the car and salted to try and make it safer for us to get in/out of the car. She was so helpful and very nice and did well beyond her job Sorry i didn't get her name but a big Thank you The pool was down for the first day but up and running before we left

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. Location is a little set off from main drag but helps keep it quiet. Very friendly welcome upon check in with homemade cookies offered. Very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy for sure but good. Only two minor items. The lounge was not really a lounge. It was a very small bar with a couple of seats. Small selection of beer and drinks. Not attended other than by front desk clerk. Not a big issue or anything. Also the sundry store was very sparsley stocked. Could be better with some frozen items to reheat as rooms have microwaves. Otherwise good stay.

We recently stayed here with our sons hockey team. We're were impressed with majority of the staff. They were friendly, helpful, great with the kids and tolerant of parents. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, we got there a little late one morning and food was under cooked. Getting a late checkout was difficult. Kids had fun in the pool, but take your goggles, the chlorine is strong. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel for hockey tournaments and we would go back again.

Amanda was amazing! Everyone made us feel at home and we all had the best experience ever. Would definitely recommend other hockey teams to stay here. They treated our 11/12 year olds like little adults and they responded to the staff suggestions better than if their parents talked to them. Thank you for a great vacation

Clean, friendly and exactly what we needed. We were looking last minute for a place near the hospital and this is within minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was good. The price was right!

We've stayed at this B-W several times in the last few years and had been pleased with all aspects of those experiences. We recently participated in a B-W promotion where a two night stay would qualify for a free night in Canada, U.S.A or The Caribbean. We were looking for a one night getaway and decided on a return to Woodstock. When making the reservation, a request was made for a King bed. Being a B-W Elite cardholder, simple requests like this are usually handled effortlessly. On our arrival Sunday evening to a sparsely occupied parking lot, we were greeted by the lone Front Desk clerk, and after the required paperwork, made our way to the room. We were surprised that we were assigned a small Queen room on the main floor on the hallway that connects the pool to the lobby/ice machine/breakfast area. Nice.There were also a few issues with the room which were reported and don't need to be repeated here. After going to sleep late and waking early because of the hall traffic, we went for breakfast. The offerings were average at best, except for the eggs which were in the shape of a disc and appeared to have been poured from a box or bag. Nasty. I am a regular Tripadvisor contributor and really dislike giving poor reviews, but this establishment has earned it .

The beds were really comfy, black-out curtains made it very dark. It was easy to find. Lots of parking. Breakfast was excellent, Staff were great, Pool was nice. I would stay here again. It was quiet and comfy, can't ask for more!

My experience has been positive and uneventful. The room was very clean and offered all that was advertised. Although I have had better free breakfasts in other hotels, the food was fresh and tasted ok. Considering the cost of my stay and the quality of the service and amenities, this does not affect my overall rating.

Our family came here on our way to a sledge hockey game in London, we stayed with our two boys one with a physical disability one cognitive. The hotel was such a pleasant homey environment. We really enjoyed the evening staff Amanda, she is very friendly, helpful and seems like just a really nice lady! Thank you for the great experience. Vickie

Her name is Ondrew (something like that anyway) we had the pleasure of having this staff member for the two mornings we were there :/ so ignorant and unprofessional! I was trying to make pancakes in the maker and she comes and slams the lid down and says “no, no that's not how you do it!” So I say “oh ok can you help me? She says “no I don't know how to work it” and proceeds to walk away! The next thing she was standing over the kids waiting for them to be done their breakfast telling them throw your garbage away when they weren't even done eating yet! The next thing It was 10:05am I wanted to get some juice for my daughter if the machine was still on but they turn it off at 10am which is fine but the way she said I couldnt get any was so freakin ignorant “no no we shut this down at 10am you can't have any”! Like holy lady if you hate your job that much QUITE! So miserable and very ignorant and unprofessional!

A great pleasant surprise. Stayed here for a hockey tournament in London. Very clean . Amanda at the front desk was awesome. Decent pool and the breakfast was pretty good. In short, very good value for the money.

It was a traumatic experience dealing with the customer service of BW and hotel directly. The hotel is not customer centric and people based, as the focus is on the revenue and reaching the revenue by any means possible. The duplicate reservation was made due to similar names of cities. The duplicate reservation was not refunded (even partially) although proactive actions were taken to cancel the reservation ahead of time. I will not stay in this BW chain again.

Management requires educational classes on customer service. When dealing with high stress situations she left no room for correction and demanded you leave the hotel with no refund. She was rude, bossy, ignorant, and battled for control over EVERYTHING.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was very impressed with the decor of the room. Clean and new in appearance, quiet and comfortable. Easy to access from the highway, close proximity to restaurants and lots of parking. Breakfast buffet was hot and tasty and offered a good variety of hot and cold items. Staff was very welcoming. Would definitely choose this hotel for future visits.

This was our first time staying at this location and wasn't disappointed!! It was very clean inside and out. The rooms where nice, modern and clean. Any staff we encountered where friendly. We all enjoyed the pool and really liked the heated floors around the pool! There was a little hiccup at the hot breakfast with it's supply and demand but not a deal breaker. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus. Bed we excellent, rooms very clean and breakfast was hot and yummy! If we are in the area again and need a hotel this would be the one! Was local to the wedding we attended.

This hotel is great! We were in Woodstock for a hockey tournament and it was very close to the arena. Good central location for everything in town. The pool is in a glassed in house and is nice. My kids loved the cushion by the window alcove (this is in all rooms)....nice bonus feature that we've never seen in a room.

Having reviewed plays in Stratford, Ontario since 2003, every so often I choose to stay further afield (about a 40-minute drive) from the heart of Canada's summer theatres. Formerly a Microtel property, this Best Western--a bit off the beaten track of the city's main thoroughfare--set nicely upon a hill, should offer quiet comfort to those who use their eyes and ears for a living. As before, the room was a long rectangle with a bit of wasted space and awkward movements between the bed and the “office”. The walls are paper thin, allowing me to hear staff chatter as they go about their early morning duties, and the boisterous revellers in the parking lot make their various points. However, that amounted to about 15% of the time. The included buffet breakfast was certainly a highlight. As a frequent traveller, I brought my own dishes and cutlery rather than needlessly waste Styrofoam and plastic. And kudos to the front desk staff who always had a smile and were ever-efficient with any request.

We Stayed at the Best Western in dec 2016 and our credit card was over charged for 2 nights on the credit card, even though we paid debit. It took them 3 weeks to reverse the charge. Why am I complaining about this now? Well, cut to Sept 15-16 of this year. My family and I decided to give them a second chance and stay there while we there for a funeral. When we were checking out we asked them to put our changes on the debit card and not the credit card they had for incidentals. They insisted that they would reverse the charge and that it might take up to 15 days for the refund. I am a small business owner who uses debit and credit machines all the time. It takes up to 3 min to reverse it and can take up to 10 days to see it back reversed on your statement. After 12 days I called the hotel to find out why it had not been reversed. They claimed that it had been. I gave it another 10 days as per their request. Cut to Oct 12/19 and it still had not been reversed. I then called back daily to find out the delay. Only to be met with excuses a to why it has not shown up on my statement. This whole time I called my credit card to ensure that it was not on there. I wanted to make sure I did not let anyone get in trouble for the mix up and report them to the Better Business Bureau and also to the RBC Fraud line. So on October 17th.2019 ( a full month later from my stay) they sent me an email showing the refund "request". It didn't have any reference number, no real request and to this day I do not have the charge of 282.48 reversed. On October 18th/19 We called RBC to see if it was in their system (as the hotel told us it was), they checked and said that there was nothing. So the RBC credit card company has opened a dispute with them and is flagging them for fraud. We still have not see the money back, so I phoned the hotel again Oct 21/19 and spoke to someone in the back office ( who had me on speaker with out my permission) and continued to tell me that she had it done and that when RBC calls she will show the the paper work. She continued to talk over me and I let them them know that I was going to be writing this review. She said " go ahead". I let them know that I was gong to be in the area next week and they could just reverse my card then. She continued to talk over me, anyway. It got heated and She hung up on me. I am beyond frustrated. My warning to you all is do NOT give them a credit card and pay with debit. you will see an extra charge that will not get reversed!

We booked online for two nights in October. The hotel called us around noon after our first night insisting we had to leave because they did not have our reservation for two nights. The lady was very rude at the desk. She said we had to leave the room and she could give us another one but due to her being so rude, we went elsewhere.

We travel to Ontario every year for as week and always stay at this hotel due to the cleanliness, quality and service, The breakfast is large and there are a good variety of choices. We highly reccommend this hotel

Our stay was adequate and a decent price. It was a good location to the highway. Need some more extra touches in night desk service and breakfast before we would recommend this hotel. Bed was comfortable.

The BW was wonderful, the staff everyone. Our room was all good, clean, lots of towels and beautiful. The free breakfast was amazing, so good. The pool and work out room was clean. We really had no complaints at all.

We were tired of driving and just needed one more pitstop before hitting last leg of the hwy. So glad we chose here. Just off of main hwy. Nice and clean . Enjoyed a nice one night stay with friendly service and a clean good continental breakfast included the next morning.

Stayed there for one night in August. The staff is very welcoming and reception area very pleasing. We received our room and it was very clean and spacious for 2 people: bathroom was huge. Internet service was great. Spouse complained bed was too hard but I found my sleep comfortable but to each their own with mattresses. However we like blankets and all there was - was a thin sheet on the bed top so not too comforting and the pillows are square and not really ideal. Breakfast in morning was fabulous and check out was simple. We heard from a business owner they were the better place to stay in town.

Always appreciate the care and pride staff take during our stays here. Clean and well maintained. Comfortable sleeps and amenities. Breakfast is a bit “pre-fab” but is abundant. When there are young sports teams it can be a bit chaotic but staff manage this well.

Stayed at BW Woodstock which is very close to Hwy 403. It was so quiet that we didn't even notice any travel going by. Bed was super comfortable and room was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Made use of the guest laundry room which was appreciated. Breakfast was good with the staff being on top of everything needed.

We did an 8 day trip to NY and back. For value and comfort, this was the best place we stayed in. The facilities were maintained and the price was competitive. The mattress could be replaced perhaps since both of us complained of sore back in the morning. Best breakfast of the three places. Used it as a place to stay while attending the Stratford Festival meaning we had to drive 1/2 hour to get there and 1/2 hour back but will likely stay here again if we go to the festival again.

The Woodstock Best Western Plus is a reasonable, clean and spacious hotel conveniently located off the expressway. We stayed two nights and found the staff to be outgoing and most helpful. We traveled to Stratford, just a half hour away to catch a couple plays. We will stay here again!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. Great shower but a larger counter would have been nice. Located in a quiet area near multiple restaurants close to the 401.

Hotel very clean and quiet. Indoor pool,loved it with outside patio. Work out room but did not use.Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and places to eat.When we arrived front desk girl very pleasant. Not sure believe her name might of been Amanda. Housekeeping keeps hotel very clean and neat.

I wasn't expecting anything amazing but this is a very nice hotel, probably one of the nicest Best Westerns I've stayed at. Located away from the highway but also close enough to be convenient, it was very quiet. Clean room with a comfortable bed, and although I was worried about the pillows because they looked really puffy which I am not a fan of, they were very comfortable as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything is as expected. Rooms were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was not bad. The hotel is tucked away from the main drag and from the noise of the highway. Lots of parking and a very quick drive to the highway and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with a group of men who like to cycle together. The night manager Anthony was fantastic. He was very accommodating, and eager to serve. Hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was on a par with other facilities of this type. Spotless dining area and rooms/bathrooms. Easy access off hwy 401. Conveniently located to the town. We stayed four nights. A definite recommend.

Better customer service - Aimee & Amanda (not sure if I spelled their names correctly) were the ones I get to talk to. I booked the rooms for my friend and encountered terrible service from the get go. I hoped they would have better service when my guests get there but they were treated rudely as well. Even the manager was rude over the phone when I talked to her or when they talked to my friend. They need better training as they don't seem to know what they are doing. My credit card was authorized for $60 but they denied it saying they don't charge $60 even when I called to ask about it; but my statement clearly shows $60 hold from the hotel. My friend gave her own card for the reservations when they checked-in but they still ran an amount on my card. I don't know if the staff and management were new but they need serious training so they would understand how their own system works.

I've stayed here a few times, it's clean and well priced and they've always gone above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. Nice sized pool is always clean and fun for the kids to play in, and actual breakfast included in price with hot eggs/sausage/potatoes/Waffles as well as typical selection.

This place was very nice with comfortable beds and a couple of nice extras. The front desk worker was nice too, but I couldn't understand her half the time and had to repeat myself multiple times. There were some hockey teams there that made lots of noise, but were (thankfully) quiet at night.

We've stayed at this Best Western property a few times now and would definitely stay again. Staff member by the name of Anthony was super friendly and outgoing. He went above and beyond with just the small things that made this stay so memorable. We would like to pass on a big thank you to him!

First time we stayed at the hotel, pool was warm and comfortable to swim in. This time it was freezing cold. Spoke to manager who said they would turn it up a couple of degrees but by the time it got a bit warmer, we were leaving. Also room was serviced on our 2nd night even though we had removed the do not disturb sign.

A nice hotel near the highway. The area was quiet and very clean The breakfast was good and the area was clean. The staff was very helpful as I was from out of town and needed directions. If required I would stay again at this motel.

We stayed at the Best Western Woodstock for a basketball tournament. The hotel staff are exceptional. Anthony works tirelessly at night and is so incredibly helpful. We also chatted with Robin who did the breakfasts and she was great at her job too. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

I am on the road currently in Woodstock and thought I would give this hotel a try. I haven't left in 3 months. From the first day till now the service is outstanding and the quality is exceptional! I am on the road for work and have spent many nights in hotels across Ontario and this one ranks the best. The beds are perfect. Outside noise is non existent. The water is hot, and the rooms are spotless. Try it!

The Best Western Plus is where I always stay. This hotel, in particular, has the best staff and service I have ever experienced. Helpful, Friendly, knowledgeable. They really set the bar for all hotels in Woodstock. The lighting in the bathroom is very good. The comfort is also great. So Clean.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous! I had some car issues and Noah, the young man working at the front desk, went out of his way to help me. It was an absolutely frigid night and he didn't hesitate to venture outside and assist with my car. My room was clean and comfortable and the selection at breakfast was great! Especially considering it is complimentary. All of the staff are very friendly here. I would recommend this location in a heartbeat

Room and amenities were good but staff could be friendlier. Not very accommodating for special request. Entrance driveway hard to navigate in the snow. entrance sidewalk not kept clear of snow. Lobby floor very slippery from snow tracked in. Probably okay during nicer weather.

I rarely stay at Best Western hotels. Frankly they are out of my normal price range. But my daughter and 2 grandchildren and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Woodstock this past weekend as a weekend getaway. We chose the Best Western mostly due to the pool (so the children could play) and proximity to the 401. We arrived Friday night and settled in with all our belongings knowing that we would be there for 2 nights. The first night was fine with the exception of the kids running the halls and making all kinds of noise. Apparently, some hockey tournament people were staying there. I don't know why the parents are not made to control their children. Or why the children are not taught to respect their surroundings and other hotel guests. Or why the hotel was not concerned about the disruptive behaviour. However, as you read to the bottom of this, I guess it all goes back to the power of the bottom line. The second day, after an early afternoon swim, we noticed the heat in the room would not turn on. I asked the cleaning lady (who was in the room across the hall) if we were doing something wrong and she was very nice and said no. She hit a reset button on the heating unit and the heat came on for a couple of hours. Then it went off again. I called the front desk and the person there told me to "wait half an hour to see if it would come on". It did not. I called again and she moved us to another room, which would not have been my preference. There should have been someone she could call to have the unit fixed. It took us over an hour to move a 4 month old and a 4 year old and all of our belongings to another room. When I asked the front desk staff if she could give us any kind of discount for our inconvenience, she said "no". And said we were lucky there was an empty room because if the hotel had been full she wouldn't have been able to move us. So, was she saying we would have had to stay in the room with no heat (during the coldest weekend of the winter so far), or that she would send us away (during the first real snow storm of the season)? The next morning when I left our room, the room we had vacated was open. I went in to talk with the cleaning lady to explain about the heat and she wasn't there. The thermostat read 12 degrees C. There's no way we could have kept the kids in that room that night. I called the manager of the hotel Monday morning and complained about the poor attitude and poor customer service of this particular staff. Ms. Smith's response to me was that it was not financially feasible to their bottom line to have maintenance staff on hand/on call on the weekend. So what I hear is that her bottom line is more important than her customers. Since I rarely spend my money on a higher end hotel, I guess I had higher expectations of what customer service should look like. I've had better experiences at far lower cost in other hotels. If they had been a bit nicer; maybe given us a free night's stay at any Best Western, or reduced our price of this stay, maybe it would have made moving to another room more palatable. It was not our fault the heat in the room was not working. And it was certainly an expectation when booking the room that we would be 100% satisfied with our stay. We will not be returning to the Woodstock Best Western, and we will not be recommending this establishment to any of our friends.

I tried to book a room for the fall during Canada's Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock Ont. but was told the rate was close to $180/night! I understand that hotels raise their rates during events, but what I couldn't understand that as a Diamond Status Best Western Reward member, NONE of my membership benefits applied during that week! I travel for work events all over this country, and this is the first Best Western to deny me membership privileges. I called the Best Western at the London Airport just down the road and got $110/night in a beautiful room....never again Best Western Woodstock.

We stayed 2 nights at the BW plus in Woodstock for my sons hockey tournament. Hotel rooms were clean, updated with microwave and fridge. Lobby area clean no matter the hour- front desk staff wore more then one hat! . Our group asked Anju at the desk to use the breakfast space for our order in dinner and she said Yes- as long as we cleaned it up! ( which we did). This helped reduce our cost of going out!! The kids loved the pool, even though it is on the smaller side. Breakfast was included in our room rate-and there was plenty of healthy selections and the usual eggs, waffle maker sausages, toast and coffee! If I have to stay again in Woodstock I'd stay again there!

Just a quick midwinter overnight stay with the grandkids. They enjoy the pool and get a kick out of staying in a hotel. Always made to feel welcome at this property. Friendly staff all around .Great job Best Western Woodstock.

Entry to hotel was impressive. We were happy to get a room on the first floor. Service was fast. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. When returning to Woodstock, we would stay at Best Western Plus again.

Extremely clean hotel, front desk staff was very nice, clean room, nice shower, comfortable beds, quite sleep. The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because breakfast could be improved. Baked goods aren't the best, and hot items lacked variety. Overall I would recommend this hotel thought.

Great use of space. Loved the anti fog mirror. Nice to have the office chair actually fit under the table and not in the way. This hotel was in a great location. Rooms were very, very clean. Lobby was nice and clean also. The only thing we missed was a hot tub. Breakfast was a bit mundane. Both mornings scrambled eggs with sausage. But overall a great place to stay.

I wish I could give 4 and a half stars because I don't want to take away a whole star. This hotel was great. Well layed out, clean, really great staff. Our only complaint is that the pool was too cool for our kids. We chose a hotel with a pool for them and they were only up for using it for about 10 minutes. The water temperature may have been ok in July, but I think the heat needs to be turned up for the colder months.Everything else really was great.

Stayed here for a local hockey tournament, location was nice and close to anything you would need, restaurants, shopping etc. Saltwater pool which the kids of course loved. Definetely would stay here again.

Having just read some of the negative reviews I am a bit bewildered as our experience at this hotel was completely opposite. This newish hotel is set apart from everything else, great parking, immaculate and clean (and definitely no smoke smell). We were told about discounts available at various restaurants (which we took advantage of at Montana's) and these were in easy walking distance. We had a great sleep.

Hotel was nice, clean and staff every friendly however i don't understan the small pillow thing and the very samll bottle of shampoo and conditioner i didn't have enough most best westerns don't even supply hair conditioner

Our experience was terrible. We planned a get-a-way vacation in the area we were doing business in. The room had 2 light bulbs out, the shade chain was pulled from the wall, the jacuzzi type tub did not work (no jets, just bubbles) and leaked water out so we had to keep refilling it. The coffee maker had the last person's coffee grounds and the room was generally not well maintained. We cut our stay short and canceled our extra day.

Booked a suite for 3 nights and was surprised to smell cigarette smoke (a lot) for 2 out of the 3 nights. We spoke to the front desk and they had maintenance come up for a visit (while we were out!). We never got a review of the findings. Around 8 pm on our final night, I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager and was told they wouldn't be in until 9 the next morning - we would be long gone by then. We normally wouldn't post a review but felt that people should know what to expect. After reading a negative review about a similar experience of another traveller 2 weeks earlier, I knew I needed to also write a review. Smoke is a trigger for migraines in one of us, and of course a resulting headache ruined the trip! Stay away from renting a suite at this place unless you like the smell of smoke.

Stayed 5 nights while visiting family. It was very clean, NO unpleasant smells (smoke, musty). Also quiet. Very close to 403 exit. Close to restaurants and shopping. I liked that you could control the heat from a wall thermostat. Lots of parking. Good wifi. Also appreciated the remote for the tv was sanitized (since it is handled so much but probably never cleaned). We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, not breakfast people. Queen beds were comfortable.

Rented 3 rooms. All were nice. Early check in was not a problem as the rooms were ready. Comfortable night's sleep. Rooms were clean. Pool was a little on the cool side. Breakfast was good, but staff did not keep up with demand. . . no meat available during the time I was in breakfast area.

We arrived a bit early as we had come for a funeral....We were told we were early in a irratating tone but the room was ready so were allowed to check inThe Reception Attendant didn't bother to explain any of the amenities of the hotelllRoom was clean but a dowdy depressing decore,I would not be in a hurry to check in there again...But it was ok for our purpose,,

Our suite did have amenities. Families would love the two rooms, two bathrooms, and two large-screen televisions; also the fridge and microwave. What they wouldn't love, and what was overpowering to me was the smell of cigarette smoke. Unsuspecting non-smokers should be provided with medication for headaches.

So this was a stop on the way to PEI, from Ottawa, and it did the job. Rooms very large, bed were OK and the parking very convenient. It's a modern hotel, and I guess we were typical of the clientele. Free breakkie helped, and C$165.59 for the stay....no complaints!

The hotel was very clean and accommodating. We were there for 3 days for a hockey tournament. We were able to socialize in the hotel lobby with other guests and had our Team meals there. Anthony, Noah and Anju were excellent staff members. They were helpful, patient and kind. Anthony was exceptional with our Team!

We stayed here during a Pee Wee boys hockey tournament in the area for 3 days. Comfortable rooms. Pool for the kids. Convenient location. The staff were extremely accommodating, particularly the night shift Manager Anthony. He was great with the kids, and allowed the parents to socialize and mingle in the lobby lounge area. We ordered in some food and set up a buffet for the kids. Other guests even joined us to socialize. Anthony was a fantastic host who helped make this a very memorable stay. Thanks Anthony!

This hotel was recommended by family. We were thrilled to find this hotel to be spotless and beautifully renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having breakfast included was a great start to our day. We will definately stay again.

My family takes epic road trips and we like staying at many hotels - the staff was VERY VERY NICE and helpful. Maybe the best we've stayed in all summer. It is easy to get to off the highway. The breakfast was nice. The have a coffee machine that will make a specialty flavor coffee with the regular waffle, cereal, etc.

Hotel staff was friendly, room was nice and clean and the pool was lovely for an early morning swim. The breakfast was just like any other hotel breakfast. Also noticed they had a lovely weight room which we did not take advantage of..

We recently booked two rooms for an educational trip with college students to Ontario. The rooms are clean and fairly large. The beds are comfortable. The shower has good pressure. The breakfast had numerous options even though it is traditional fare, but the set-up/layout is a bit clunky. It is convenient to the 401, though there was construction while we were staying there at the exit and we needed to reroute. The front desk attendant was a bit eccentric, but he meant well. Perhaps he's a drama major. ;-) Parking is free.

The hotel is very nice and clean. We stayed for three nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has many options and it was very complete for all tastes. Would definitely stay again, the only suggestion is for them to clean the base boards in the gym, when I worked out there were a lot of spider webs and dust. Everything else was great

Spent two nights here with some family. As per our request we were assigned adjoining rooms. Cleaned fairly well just a few pieces of paper lying round the floor and the carpet was damp in one room around the air conditioner.Plenty of space in the breakfast area with the usual hotel offerings. Grandkids aged two and six enjoyed the pool although we had issues with a fairly rowdy group of young boys left unsupervised getting a little carried away. We would return to this hotel.

Good full breakfast; clean hotel, well located about 30 minutes from Stratford and a whole lot cheaper than staying in town. Stop in Shakespeaer along the way; neat little town. We had peach pie at a local place. The cheese in Ontario is also available in this area. Staff at desk great and friendly. Has a pool.

Stayed one night for business. Very Modern and Extremely Clean. Room was outstanding and comfortable plus clean. Breakfast area was fantastic, one of the best I have seen. Pool area was great. Staff were all professional and friendly. Love the idea of the bar to serve beer.Great Price!

My husband and I were in the area golfing for a couple days and decided to stay at best western plus.. it was an amazing experience.. very clean, front desk very friendly, awesome hot and cold breakfast options.. something for everyone- which is included with your stay.. the hotel was quiet and the pool was very refreshing.. we will definitely stay there again in the future..

Good value, comfortable bed, good food,clean inside and out, friendly staff, good shopping nearby, what more do you want. oh yes it has a heated pool with towels plenty of natural sunshine to make you fell warm. plenty of good parking near the hotel and the 401 just around the bend to get you on your way.

In a competitive service environment this chain maintains quality and standards. Of note was the bathtub fixtures and handholds on every angle which would be a delight to anyone with some disabilities. Good breakfast service and 24 hour coffee.

This hotel is fairly new. Furnishings are very clean and well kept. The breakfast in the morning is quite substantial. Everything is cooked fresh. There is a nice pool although not very big but good for a dip to cool off. A half dozen kids in there would make it quite noisy needless to say crowded. We had a room on the bottom floor and it was quiet. Also had a jacuzzi tube that we used which was fun. Bed was comfy and check in was flawless.

Our extended family had 4 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms were very clean, staff made every effort to make sure we were well taken care of. Each time we entered the hotel we received a friendly welcome. Breakfast was very tasty and well stocked. Would be happy to return. Thanks for the hospitality.

Very clean and restaurants within walking distance Staff friendly and helpful. Told us up front there were many dogs staying there as there was dog show in town. No problems. Was quiet. Also morning breakfast was very good and staff kept food replenished and dining area clean.

Lovely clean room. Very quiet. Breakfast was standard with gluten free choices, which husband appreciated. The disposable plates and cutlery kills me and the landfills. Is it really that much more costly to buy plastic plates and cutlery and wash them? Shameful waste of resources. Young man at the desk was pleasant but needs more coaching to be confident in his knowledge. He will be an asset if he digs in and learns. Smallish room, but I did my yoga. They have a lounge and offer adult swims at 10 pm. Lots of parking. A bit of a drive from town but it was nice and quiet. Light duvet versus the Goliaths we had in other hotels was appreciated! Good night sleep.

Best Western has really stepped up their game. The hotel is clean, well appointed, and quiet during our visit. The breakfast provided was great. The front desk staff could not do enough for us We will stay again

This is a relatively new hotel that is very well managed. The rooms are not as large as one finds in many Best Western Plus hotels, but they are spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is better than most, and the cost of a room is reasonable. There is easy access to the hotel, and restaurants and shopping are a short distance away. This hotel is highly recommended, this is a return stay and we will use this hotel when traveling through Ontario in the future.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Woodstock en route to Montreal for a weekend, and it was so good, we stayed again on the return trip. Here are a few of the reasons why. It was convenient, easy on and off the highway, in both directions. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. My husband especially appreciated the well organized work space with desk, lamp, and easily accessible outlets.The bathroom was not large, but well stocked and totally adequate. Breakfast went above and beyond the standard economy hotel breakfast. There were eggs, some very good bacon and sausages, and make your own waffles. These waffles can vary in quality, but Best Western's were among the best I've had. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could not ask for more.

I've stayed there three times in the past month for business, each time very consistent--fast check-in, clean and comfortable rooms. Sometimes I have trouble with the HVAC kicking on/off at night and waking me. I don't have that issue here--so it is quite. I've always booked the mini-suite. I would compare it to a Hyatt Place room in terms of amenities, except for the bathroom--it is a bit old-school--small with very little space. The small bathroom would make it difficult to travel with my spouse and/or kids. The complimentary breakfast is below average, but there is a Tim Hortons just down the street and I don't know that any in Canada really dares to complete with Tim in the morning. Located close to a WalMart and other decent local restaurants. Situated facing a golf course--I don't know anything about, but lots of golfers at the hotel. I would recommend a room NOT in the front on the first floor. These rooms face the parking lot and car lights and LED lighting shine into the room (of course blackout shades are provided).

I have to say, Canada has some of the cleanest, friendliest, comfortable stays one could hope for. The room we stayed in (219-A) was exceptional. It was one of the cleanest I have seen in a long time, spacious (the entire room was separated by a half wall keeping the bed separate from the sofa and tv area. There was a microwave and small refrigerator. Plenty of room for suitcases, a table with 2 chairs, a coffee pot, great shower and a very comfortable bed. Did I mention the breakfast? Everything you could possibly want was there for you, even an actual yogurt maker (which I have never seen before), two types of eggs and sausage, etc., and coffee machines if you want a cappuccino plus more..... GREAT, GREAT STAY!!!!

Would highly recommend, clean, comfortable and convenient. Off the main road so very quiet place to stay. Good fitness room, indoor pool, very comfortable beds, and a great window seat to put the suitcases on.

I am an avid Hilton user the past 20 years. Cant say I have ever stayed in a BW. This one was a real surprise. Recently renovated. Kept very clean. Attentive staff. If I was confident that all BW's were like this I would use more often but this one is a real joy to stay at.

I have stayed at this hotel and it is always a pleasure. Clean rooms and the staff are courteous and friendly. I always out of my way to stay here when I'm in the area. Mind you the best thing are the warm cookies in the lobby.

We were in the area for an anniversary in Kitchener, but felt the hotel prices were somewhat exorbitant. Knowing the area, we surfed surrounding communities and found the BW Plus in Woodstock at a price that suited our budget. The reviews were also good. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised: the hotel was a good distance (though not too far) from highway 401. We thought it was new (but it was several years old). We were very impressed by the interior cleanliness. It was impeccably kept. Service was fast and efficient, and we were quickly in our designated room. That, too, was immaculate. The cleaning staff is clearly more capable than most. The only complaint I might have had was that my bed was harder than I like, but that is a personal preference. Others might like it that way. Breakfast on the two mornings of our stay was as good as anywhere we've stayed (again, I would have preferred biscuits to English muffins, but I would be in a minority!). The hotel is right near a busy intersection with lots of restaurants and strip malls. It's very convenient so you don't have to go too far for all that, but the hotel isn't what I expected. We were there for one night, on a business trip. I didn't get to sleep much, I had air blowing on my face all night because the beds are right near a fan. They put me on the first floor and I had a light under the window shining through the curtains. And lastly the breakfast.... not much of a breakfast in my opinion. Toast, boiled eggs and yogurt.... that's it.

The desk clerk named Anthony was awesome answered all my questions and confirmed the room was to our liking. In the morning i went down got the breakfast and took it to my room with my girlfriend staff was very helpful gave me a tray. Price was great Thanks Phil

Compared to the hotel you drive past in order to get to this one from the 401, this place is a godsend. It's very convenient if you're doing any business in Woodstock, has rooms as nice as I've seen anywhere, and noticeably very very clean. The pool area is great, and the buffet breakfast area was just big enough, with the usual buffet breakfast selections. I'd suggest you go for the suites, they're roomy and fresh and not that much more expensive than a regular room.

My review is a bit overdue. I stayed for 3 nights back in August. Let me start by saying I have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world and this was by far one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. Such a pleasant surprise. My mom lives in Woodstock in a super tiny 1 bedroom with no room for guests. I love that this is just down the road from her and is extremely affordable. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly. They all seem to take a great deal of pride in their work. I will definitely be back for my next trip.

Needed a place close to Woodstock Hospital and this hotel was closest and it advertised a pool. Unfortunately the pool was closed for repairs which was a disappointment. Nice clean room with all the necessities required. Due to impending surgery I was not able to enjoy the breakfast provided, however my partner said she thoroughly enjoyed the waffles, etc provided. We were disappointed with the size of the pillows - about half the normal pillow size. I went to the front desk and obtained 1 extra pillow which was all they had remaining as other guests had the same issue.

Clean hotel. My room was close to the side door. I am a smoker and had my cigarettes outside. I did not smoke in the room. I live in a smoking home so the smell would be on my clothes. I came in from being outside and overheard the cleaning staff saying to eachother about "smelling smoke" I stayed for two nights. Credit card was used by my boyfriend who isn't a smoker" when I left they ended up charging$1000 to his credit card for smoking but had no evidence. 500 each night which would be a cleaning fee but they only cleaned my room one time!!! No proof of ashes or even cigarette butts were to be found. This was unfair, unprofessional and in my opinion were assumptions.

This Best Western Plus used to be a Microtel at one time. Don't let that discourage you from staying here. It obviously has had major renovations & updates recently.The entire place appeared to be spotless, extremely clean. My room was decorated very nice & the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. No complaints at all. There is a small bar area near the lobby that seats 5 or 6. I don't believe that it was stocked with any alcohol when I was there. I did not have time to check out the pool, as it was late by the time I had dinner.The free breakfast was above average for a hotel. All of the normal things, along with cheese omelets, waffles, and they even have a yogurt machine. First time I saw one of those. There are some restaurants nearby withing a 3 block walking distance. I ordered from Boston Pizza & had them deliver it, as I didn't want to drive my tour bus up there. The last thing I want to mention is the sweet young lady that checked me in. Her name is Tania. She was such a joy, very polite, professional & a real Sweetheart!! She knew her job well & her charm & grace just made my day. If all hotel desk clerks were like Tania, the world would be a better place. If you need a hotel in Woodstock, give the Best Western a try.

Using Booking.com which is super easy to use I booked a night at the Best Western in Woodstock, ON. This is the second time we've stayed here and happy again. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and friendly staff. Our 10 year old really enjoys the pool too. The continental breakfast has a lot of food choices, it's self-serve & convenient. We'll definitely stay here again.

We had a dog show in town and rather than drive back and Fyfe booked a hotel room. Great location just off the 401 and near our event. The room was a corner suite on the top floor, two complete baths,2 flat screen tv,sitting room and a large bedroom with a king size bed. Also had a bar with fridge and microwave. The lady at the front desk was excellent, very friendly and helpful, booking us a cab to a local restaurant and recommended a great place for lunch. Slept well and enjoyed the morning coffee and light breakfast. For what we paid it was amazing ! Thanks.

Very reasonable price point for nice clean facilities. Staff were the most pleasant I have had in several years. The room was very clean and extremely well made up by staff. Nicely appointed decor and the bed comfortable.

Check-in and out where OK. Hotel cleanliness was good, pool was clean but could have been a few degrees warmer for comfort level, staff was great. Décor in the room was dated but clean. Beds were clean not my preference. Overall I'd stay here again

Beautiful reception area. Very friendly greeter at front desk. Very comfy room with lots of pillows and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Very cozy and quiet. A delicious breakfast buffet with a good assortment of hot and cold items. This was probably the nicest Best Western we have stayed in!

Stayed Christmas night. Hotel very, very clean. Beds and pillows super comfy. Hotel staff at check in and check out friendly. Would certainly recommend. Did not have breakfast there but, it looked great and a number of other guests enjoyed it.

After arriving very late at night and stopping to stay due to bad weather and poor travelling conditions on the 401, the hotel clerk went out of her way to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable. The hotel grounds and interior are very clean and inviting.

There were ants in my room. I was told they would be taken care of the next day. I was there for 3 nights. I was told the only other option was to change rooms. Since I had unpacked and I was told it was to be taken care I chose not to move. The night lady said she'd put a discount on my room for the inconvenience. No one ever came and I was not told any updates or given the choice again to move. Upon checkout, no discount was given, I was told there were no notes on my room which was a lie and the lady was visibly upset that I had even asked. She told me the manager would call that day which he didn't. $20 was credited back to my card. Over a 3 night stay that's just over $6 discount per night . Quite insulting on a $300 bill. Also the heater unit let all the -9 cold air into the room. If the heating coil was not active, super cold air freely flowed into my room no matter if the fan was on or off. I tucked towels around the unit to cut down the breeze but my room would consistently go from normal temp to freezing winds. Since I was working from my room, it made both work and sleep difficult. The rest of the hotel looked clean though there was low traffic mid week when I was there. Breakfast was acceptable. With other equally priced hotels literally next door, I will not be staying here and I would not recommend to a friend. The night staff was super friendly and helpful but I was very disappointed in the reaction and treatment of the day staff. She thought it acceptable to sleep with ants in the center of my room which I had to avoid when walking through my room when paying $300.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Excellent hotel. Front desk personnel were excellent, friendly, helpful and professional. Check in and check out were seamless. Room was well set up and easily accommodated 2 large suitcases of clothing. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and well appointed. Internet was the only drawback. I would usually lose contact for 20-30 minutes, twice a day. Seemed to be no solution. Lots of parking and very close to shopping and several restaurants.

Best Western is our first choice when out of town .I have found the quality of Best Western to be most reliable as their standards seem to be higher than the other advertised options. the service received is far above the rate you pay.

We were given a ground floor room and it was so noisy. Was noisy the whole time till close to midnight. And was woken up at 5 in the morning by inconsiderate guest yapping outside the room. Told the front desk who just shrug her shoulders. Internet was intermittent and was told that it must have been me.

The staff was helpful and caring. The rooms and total hotel were spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. It is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended.

Booked a king suite with kitchen and was not disappointed, The room we had was excellent. Separate bedroom makes this room awesome. Everything was very clean (i check in areas most wouldn't) Excellent location just off major highway with all the restaurants and shopping close by.

Told that bath mats were not provided as a policy of Best Western Hotels, I tried using a towel in place of one. Nonetheless I ended up slipping and falling backwards out of the tub and having a bump on my head for a week and bruising to my muscles or ribs for a couple of weeks, I suspect.

I have stayed in several hotels in the area over the past couple of years and have found this hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable and excellent value for my needs. They are not the cheapest in town but I always appreciate the staff and the service I receive when I am there. The rooms have excellent black out blinds so you can sleep whenever you need to. There is a pool, workout room and bar for a end of day activity of my choosing.

Second time staying at this hotel in Woodstock. Arrived to the smell of freshly baked cookies; perfect snack upon check in. Friendly staff at check in and at breakfast. Room a great size. A clean hotel with plenty of parking. Restaurants and stores not far away. Easy access to highway.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The customer service was top-notch. I just stayed here as a quick overnight stopover & really only needed a bed to sleep in. This hotel looked very new, my room was larger and nicer than I was expecting for a hotel at his price point. The decor was modern and fresh, and the room was spotless, they even have sanitized remotes for the TV. The bathroom was literally so big I could have had a dance party in there, the room was plently big and had a nice cushioned window seat in addition to the queen size bed, large desk, huge TV, mini fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfy and the duvet was very fluffy. The temperature in the room was easily controlled. I did not try out the pool but it did look very nice and they had adults-only time in the evenings (which is literally the best idea ever!) The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and included quite a few hot items and a make your own waffe station. Overall, this is a great little hotel and I will definitely stay there again!

Had an excellent stay at this hotel while I was in town for business. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable. The room was nice and clean each night when I returned and the breakfast was excellent. I would would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very modern hotel in an excellent location, minutes away from 401.. Lobby and rooms super clean and rooms were very quiet. The staff was efficient and accommodating, especially Taz at check-in. Purpose of trip was a 'girls" getaway; we needed a hotel not far from Stratford/St. Jacobs offering a flexible cancellation policy. BW Plus fit the bill.

Staff very accomodatong re requests for room location and extra pillows . Checkout quick and accurate. Newspapers ,coffee available early in the am. A place we would stay again. Brand new facility. Everything bright, shiny and functioning well. Staff reflects quality of facility in their service and attitudes. Pity location does not merit on site restaurant but too many options nearby to warrant one.

I had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Woodstock Inn & Suites, Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Had a great sleep in the very comfortable bed. Very nice and helpful staff at the front desk during check in made my stay more enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this location.

This is a very out of date hotel. The room smelled of mildew. The carpet in room looked like it was there since it was built and maybe vacuumed once a week. Other ppls leftovers were on the floor and the garbage van had others garbage in it still

Very clean , beautiful rooms and great service. I will be staying there again. Cheapest of all the name brand hotels in the area. I would highly reccomend this hotel. Very impressed with the clean bright halls and exterior etc. Did not use pool but it looked nice and clean. Nothing was tired about the place except me.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Best Western Woodstock. Staff were great, excellent facilities and super breakfast. Room was very spacious and well equipped and comfortable. Although there were a number of young people staying there also, it was very quiet.

I was having a marvelous time until the last night. I asked the man at the counter if I could have some coffee for the morning & first he said we didn't have coffee in the room, then it was he had no idea what I was talking about, then he left for a while & all he found was tea. He said he was sorry & I said that I was sorry too! I had coffee given to me every night by Sandie with a great big smile. She is the ultimate profesional! I received some bad news from home & maybe I was more nervous. I was waking up earlier in the morning & drinking a lot more coffee than I probably should have been but it sure felt good while I was drinking it. Now I would have to wait until I went down to the breakfast. This is totally unacceptable & totally unexpected. This man ruined my stay with his ignorance & not caring about the hotel guests. Regardless of his total failure & his coming up short the cleanliness of the room, the location of the hotel & the breakfast were all phenomenal. The support staff were extremely friendly & helpful.

We stayed at the Best Western in Woodstock because of its location, the free breakfast, free and plentiful parking, the indoor pool, and very importantly reasonable rates. Definitely not disappointed as it was outstanding on all criteria for this category of hotel. Front desk person very helpful and friendly. Also, when asked about local restaurants, she confirmed what was written on a card in the room that there was a discount for hotel guests at nearby restaurants.Turns out the discount was 10% off and later at Montana's they gave the discount with no issues. Everything very clean including room and pool. We talked to the pool mtce person who evidently really enjoys his job and makes that pool spotless. Breakfast area clean and breakfast had lots of items from which to choose. Really good place and great for us who wanted a nice overnight break after a day at Long point with plans for Ingersoll the next day without fighting traffic back to the GTA. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about this place. Staff is always fantastic. I've usually booked with short notice and never any issues. Place is clean and fairly modern looking. Close to 401 and restaurants. Great value for the money. Self-serve free breakfast is also good and a nice touch. For sure, my go to place in the area.

This was the best hotel on our vacation! The room and lobby were so spotlessly clean. The lighting inside and outside of the building was so attractive-inviting. The breakfast had a nice variety of items. Waffles eggs sausage pastries and even gluten free cereal Lighting was bright in and outside too!

Food was fine even if there were not too many choices. The location is perfect and it was close to restaurants and many other stores (Walmart). What disappointed me was the sofa bed sheet. It was not changed for a long time and when I open it, it was dusty and dirty. Besides that, I still appreciated my stay.

Hotel appears very new and is clean with a very friendly staff. Room was great - extremely clean bathroom. The only downside is that there is not enough seating for the free breakfast. Great location, right off the main freeway.

We have booked this hotel for our trip to Niagara Falls . It's conviently located right off highway and only 1.5 h away from the falls. It's clean , modern and staff is super friendly. Great variety of food for complimentary breakfast ( toasts , English muffins , scrambled eggs , sausages , potatoes, waffles , cereal ,yogurts and much more) . The pool is not big but super clean. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone .

This hotel was clean, had bright and modern decor, with a large and comfortable room, There was a nice variety of restaurants nearby, providing more than the usual fast food service. It is set back from the road so no road noise, but easy access on and off the highway. They had good breakfast choices, including waffles and a latte/cappucino/hot chocolate machine.

I stayed at this hotel twice over-night when entering and leaving Canada this summer. Its location happens to accommodate my trip over-night stop really well. Its rate is cheap comparing with staying in London or driving closer to a hotel nearby Toronto. It is about 1.5 hour away from the Niagara Falls so you can wake up earlier to pay an early visit before the crowd builds up around noon time. This hotel looks new from every angle inside and outside. I suppose it has to be built recently. Its colorful exterior night looks weird from a distance. It is an unusual choice I have to say. Its interior looks more like Microtel than a typical BW. The room looks clean and modern, and the staffs professional. I am most impressed with the breakfast choices. It has more hot and cold items available than other BW. That includes egg omelette, sausage, waffles and potatoes. It has two coffee machines, juices, bread, bagels, yoguart and hard-boiled eggs. This hotel has relatively large sitting area for breakfast than other BW as well. There is also an indoor temperature controlled pool in a separate enclosure connected to the main building. Woodstock is not a big city and most restaurants close early before 9PM. So I would not arrive too late for a decent dinner. I do have issue using Discover card there during check-out. They took the card in my first stay but failed to do so the second time. Other than that everything is great.

This place was beyond our expectations. Extremely nice rooms, very new hotel, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rates were great and access to 401 and to shopping areas and food is fantastic. Had we known there was a golf course next door, we would have checked in sooner! Would stay here again if the need ever arises!

We stayed for the first time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone! Our first impression was that it was very clean. The room was spacious, clean and provide a frig/microwave and coffee. An excellent buffet breakfast that had fruit, pastry, sausage, egg, potato, yogurt, cereal and a variety of juices. You can't go wrong staying here

This is one of the VERY nicest places we have stayed. The staff was friendly & helpful, the decor fresh & bright, the furnishings new & clean. The breakfast was terrific-eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, a waffle maker to create huge delicious waffles, fruit, yogurt, bagels...I could go on & on. The pool was a great place to spend time in the evenings. I would definitely (definitely) come back again & also recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a very reasonable price.

Front desk staff, were amazing and so helpful. I couldn't recommend better service from a hotel. It was a beautiful hotel and if I am ever in that area again I would go back, just because of the service we received.

Stayed in a King bedroom with Half a kitchen. Reserved directly with the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Check in and check out were very fast, staff was extremely friendly. We had stayed at the hotel when it was a Microtel, it has definitely been upgraded. We were expecting a studio type room, and were surprised that we had a separate bedroom. Room was spacious and clean. The wifi reception was good. Breakfast was included, lots of variety, which was quickly replenished. God value.

I recently had a family getaway at Best Western Woodstock what a hidden gem my family couldn't be more pleased with the staff, location and cleanliness of this hotel. Amy at check in was pleasant and efficient. Woodstock team was amazing throughout our stay and they were all super helpful. I'll definitely return and recommend to others!

This hotel is fairly new. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Everything about our stay was great, until we went down for breakfast. There was no milk, no eggs, no bacon, no bread ... I asked if we had missed the breakfast. They said "No" but were in no hurry to replenish the food. There was one man serving and cooking and cleaning and he was not moving very quickly. He showed no urgency nor did he apologize for the lack of food. The breakfast area is very small and could not accommodate the people that were there. So, if you plan to have breakfast, go early, or your patience will be tested.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and well taken care of, staff were awesome.. very friendly and helpful. Not just on arrival all staff in the morning and at breakfast. Grounds were beautiful.. Rooms were a good size and all rooms have a fridge and microwave. Would highly recommend if you are in Woodstock to stay there.

We stayed for 12 nights as visiting family in Woodstock. The hotel was very clean and the reception staff were friendly. However the hot breakfast was awful - kept warm from 6 30 till 10 - cardboard potatoes, sausages were not, eggs were an indescribable yellow. Even the continental had little choice and things ran out every day. As only one person was responsible for breakfasts for the hotel - which was pretty full - you can imagine how it was done on the cheap. Plus paper plates and cups and plastic cutlery. I would not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it - except for an overnight stay. Other niggles - room not cleaned on one day, pool over chlorinated, other little problems not dealt with as well as they could have been by staff. Expected more tv channels. For the price you would expect better food - I will look for alternative accommodation if I return to Woodstock in the future.

This hotel is really well kept. When we were leaving in the morning, we rode down in the elevator with the manager and he told us this hotel was 10 years old. We couldn't believe it. Everything is in such good shape it looked like it maybe 2 years at the most. The rugs looked brand new, all equipment was new looking, the rooms were in great shape, no broken or out of shape anything. The breakfast was every bit as good or better than at a lot of the hotels in our travels and the price was a real good rate.

Breakfast waffles you make yourself are amazing. Great breakfast choices, not just toast and coffee. Very clean hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. Huge parking lot. Nice pool. Needs a hot tub. Easy to access from 401.

first time in Canada, great hotel, great time in Toronto, CN Tower, Zoo and Jazz fest. This is on my list of to do again. The only problem we had was we were to far from Toronto. But at the end, I liked it that way

The hotel was amazing as was the staff. It clean, updated, beautiful rooms, well managed & good rates. It is located close to everything. Lots of parking. Breakfast was great. I can't say enough about the staff wonderful at ll times.

Went for 2 night at this hotel. Very clean and its right near many restaurants. Plus Tim Hortons is just around the block. Clean pool and good breakfast as well.Staff is also friendly . Good parking lot as well with wide spaces.

Check in was easy, front desk staff were friendly and they had fresh baked cookies in the lobby. The suite was definitely one of the cleanest and most comfortable rooms we've stayed in. The decor was very nice and everything worked perfect. The TV is pretty large and had many channels. The bathroom looked brand new although it was renovated 4 years ago we were told. The breakfast had a very good variety of food and drinks to choose from. We would recommend this hotel 100%.

Hands down best rooms, service and value in the Woodstock area. Absolute friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is a comfortable on. 100% recommend to any and all traveling in this area.

Staffs are friendly. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The rate / value is very reasonable. Will stay again for sure. If I must criticize then I will suggest better breakfast quality. I think they used egg mix instead of fresh eggs.

Have been here many times because of the staff, the service, the breakfast, pool, fitness room. Our room was great. Also has an outdoor lounge area. Hotel is also very easy to find, close to stores and restaurants. Has free parking in a large parking lot.

Pros: clean, friendly, amenities, parking, wifi, decor Cons: bathtub does not drain. You will be showering in a pool up to your ankles. I've stayed at many hotels and quite a few have this issue. Hope Best Western gets this fixed.

If you're going to be in the Woodstock area, this is the hotel to stay. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful and make me feel like family when I walk in every week. The facility is modern and always spotless and everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay every time. From food service to front desk to the cleaning staff. You won't find a better place to stay in the area!

We booked our room here as a one night stop-over between a folk festival and a funeral. We had a lovely mini-suite with comfortable king size bed and even mini reading lights at each bedside. Everything seemed very bright and clean. I would have liked healthier low sodium options for breakfast, but everything else was great, including the service.

Pleasantly surprised with quality & value. Staff are courteous and attentive. Computer workstation area very useful. Room assigned was handicap equipped (even though I am not handicapped). As a result work space around sink was sparse.. Will be my 1st choice when travelling thru area. Replacing my previous BW choice in London ON.

Better than most for the price. We're driving cross country so we're staying in a lot of hotels and we've gotten picky about what we want and how much we're willing to pay, this was worth the price. One of the better Best Westerns. Unfortunately the had an "extra" charge on my credit card that I didn't expect, apparently it's in the fine print and they'd don't disclose that at check-in. I asked at the front desk and they said it was for incidentals, it would have been nice if I'd known that ahead of time... The bed was comfortable, the towels were a good size. Breakfast offered a variety of food.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during Canada Day. The outside of this hotel did not look great, but the room was large enough. The good thing for this hotel is location. It is located close to Niagara Falls and Skylon. The downtown was little far but still within a walking distance. .

Nice stay. Front desk was very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast -yoghurt, fruit,cereal, waffles, muffins, pasteries, eggs ( little spongy), sausages and toast. Enjoyed the pool and there is a fitness area. Easy access to the highway.

This hotel is about 8 years old and was very well taken care of. I staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

We love staying at this hotel. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. We take part in the World Crokinole tournament that is hosted in Tavistock Ontario each year & we find this hotel is about a 15 minute drive away.

we arrived at this hotel on Monday june 26 2017 at about 3:30 pm our room was ready on the first floor room 106 the 4 piece bathroom was on our right then 2 queen size bed were next to the bathroom wall with one night stand between the beds a very silent heating airconditioner was underneath the bed room window a tall double door closet was in the corner then the dresser with the tv on top the fridge underneath and to the left with 2 double drawers next the beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless this hotel had 3 things the other bw hotels did not have when we returned to the hotel around 9:30 pm a family was just checking in and they asked where they could get a coffee the receptionist told them the breakfast room which was next to the reception area had a coffee machine which was available 24 hours that was a first the 2 nd was this hotel did not provide any breakfast trays when I asked they never had any breakfast trays this hotel was built 8 years ago with bw taking over 4 years ago with the present owner taking over 2 years ago the staff would bring this matter to the owners attention when bw corporation check the franchise qualifactions the breakfast trays are not of the list to be checked it was rather inconvenient to get your breakfast the coffee and juice were on your right so you get them first and find your table next across the room was the toast sausage rounds bacon cheese omlet all on a 6 inch paper plate the 3 rd was the invoice at checkout the bill was $111.00 on my visa with we got home I checked my visa the next morning and the amount shown was $181.00 an increase of $70.00 when I phoned and ask why the answer was if we had a party the $70.00 was to cover any damages I gues that was of the student riots they had in London sever years ago the extra was removed the next day inquiring about the 3 unusual items mentioned above the answer I received that all bw hotels do that, the answer to that statement was a definite no . overall the stay at bw Woodstock was enjoyable and easy to get to with a large plaza less when 2 miles from the hotel with all your fast food restaurants there and of course a walmart

This is my go to when I visit the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in nearby St. Marys. Stayed here for the first time in 2016 and easily booked again and will book again for my next visit. Easy to get to, great staff, great free breakfast, easy to get to St. Marys and plenty of good places to have dinner nearby.

I stayed at this hotel just for 2 nights while there was a tournament going on in Woodstock. At times there was loud noise in the hall and in the room above but it did not really affect my sleep and my comfort.

My husband and I had a fire back in November and we had to stay for over a week. Best service, wonderful clean rooms, very spacious and great customer service. We send all our guests to Woodstock BestWestern. They never disappoint us.

great hotel, awesome location for our needs . clean and weel organized rooms with storage. Pool was an added bonus as it was a heat wave during our stay. Will definitley be staying here again if we are out this way

We were hosted at BW Woodstock for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and the rooms are very clean and modern. Comfortable bed and great tv's. A highly recommended place to stay.

...however we look forward to coming/staying here when we visit as much as seeing the grand-kids...and its a lot quieter too!! This time it smelled like Grandma's house as the scent of fresh baked cookies welcomed us in the lobby...and they tasted even better. Clean,well equipped, and best of all...a good nights sleep. Right from the start the front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful, comfortable room. Small lounge at front desk to buy a beverage after a long day of travel was very welcome. Comfortable room and breakfast in the morning.

Beautiful, clean rooms and very comfy beds. Breakfast, standard, nothing spectacular, but staff very friendly. My daughter liked the the outside of the hotel was lit up with pink spotlights. It was a tad farther off highway than usual hotels but great rate/stay!

this best western was great.the room was fantastic, it was the junior suite on the ground floor .My wife was impressed that there was a small day bed in front of window that you could relax and read a book while laying down on it room was super clean.The full breakfast was great with a wide variety of items to choose from both hot and cold .Will definitely stay here again

My wife and I stopped here on our way home to Ontario. I'm a firefighter and they gave me a discount because I am. The room was very clean . We had a very comfortable bed. In the morning breakfast was included.

Very attractive and comfortable room. Staff was wonderful - friendly and caring. Several of my family members were staying here for a funeral and the staff was great about making sure we were all in touch upon arrival. Apparently, soccer moms had cleared the bar of all but beer in the previous coupled days, so couldn't get a glass of wine lol

Every aspect of this hotel is very good. Location, staff, breakfast, information and a helping hand etc. etc. Will definitely stay here again! Very close to many restaurants and other amenities. A great alternative to staying in Stratford if going to the festival.

Another good stay at the Best Western. We stayed here while visiting family in Stratford. This location was right off the highway and fairly close to our location. The hotel was clean and staffed with friendly people. The restaurant was also reasonably priced and enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. Excellent rooms,clean and the window lounge was perfect for a little downtime. Pool was nice also. Breakfast was very good compared to other places we have stayed. Would recommend to anyone going down this way.

From the moment you check in, you feel you are the reason that staff are here....very attentive prompt and polite.... This is obviously a very new location with a great view, close to 401, shopping and restaurants....and nothing but peace and quiet..... Just perfect....

A++++ no complaints - all was great. Had to check out a few days early due to a schedule change and staff was most helpful making this happen. Will stay here again on business. Only dislike was the entrance doors into hotel with large baggage. The dual door system was a challenge but I realize in the winter it helps maintain heat in the lobby.

Was a little disappointed with the restrictions due to booking through Expedia. We try to use Best Western when possible. But want the opportunity to upgrade or get better prices if available. As regular customers and preferred travellers we would like to receive the best price, discounts or upgrades when available.

My wife and I were finally able to take some vacation time off from work, and I wanted to plan a little getaway for us (along with our two-year-old daughter). While looking through all the hotel options, I was extremely happy with this Best Western in Woodstock Ontario. The online reviews were amazing, the location less than an hour from home, the amenities were plentiful especially the full size heated pool, but what sealed the deal was the King Suite with the Full Kitchenette. I figured it would be nice to go swimming with the family, cook a delicious meal for my wife and daughter, then cozy up together for the evening. I booked online directly through their Best Western website for a King Suite with a Kitchenette, confirmed the booking with a credit card payment, and promptly received an email confirmation with all the correct details and room information. Check-in went fine, but when we arrived to our room, it was not the room we booked. Instead it was a downgraded room with no kitchenette. It was much smaller and instead of a kitchenette, it had an extra bathroom (which was not needed). We call down to the receptionist to let them know about the issue. They said it was the room we chose. When we showed them the confirmation email of the actual room we booked, they blamed it on their website and said we should've called the hotel directly to book. They told us to call Best Western customer service, which confirmed our actual booking for the King Suite with the Kitchenette. Customer service couldn't do anything about the issue, instead just argued over the phone with the hotel as to whose fault it was (the actual hotel for not updating their system, or the website for showing wrong information). To make matters worse, this room was still available on their website to be purchased even though in actuality it wasn't available at the hotel!! I feel the hotel made a mistake and gave our room away to another guest who called them directly, then bumped us into a downgraded room after noticing their mistake. The hotel never contacted us to let us know our room was no longer available. If they had, we would've booked on a different night or at an entirely different hotel. We were told by the front desk staff that this happens all the time. They overbook certain rooms and hope the customer will stay with them anyway, therefor the hotel will profit in the end. This is unacceptable. To rectify this issue, the general manager offered us a 10% discount in the downgraded room. This was his only and final offer. We refused the offer and chose to check-out within two hours of checking-in, all of which we spent wasted on the phone with both the hotel and Best Western customer service. They mentioned not charging us for checking-out and made it sound like they were doing us a huge favour, when in fact, the entire thing was their fault and they couldn't make it right. Front desk was very argumentative, speaking over us, would not listen to the issue, and kept deflecting the blame. Even leaving at one point in the middle of our discussion to go check-in another customer who had just arrived (even though there was another receptionist at the counter). The customer overheard our conversation and was kind enough to let the receptionist know that he can wait a moment for her to deal with our situation first, but she simply ignored his comment and kept helping him anyway. It was quite unbelievable. The general manager stayed in his office the entire time and never came out to see us, or even apologize. I'm sure when things go well and customers receive the room they actually booked and payed for, then things are great. It's when things go wrong, the true colour of the company/employees/management comes out. The way they chose to handle this situation was quite unbelievable. The customer service we received both from the hotel staff and over the phone during this fiasco was horrendous to say the least. We will never book with Best Western again.

The hotel was located in an location. The complexl is very well maintained. I must say that rooms are decorated with taste. As for the beds they are extremely comfortable. To complete you stay, friendly the staff is extremely friendly and are happy to have you in their hotel.

This modern , spotless hotel, offered us a large room with a bay window seating area, nicely furnished room with extra outlets for charging electronics and USB ports by the bedside. The bedside lights also had a special personal reading light for each side of the bed. Our room was quiet and we had access to temperature control. A full hot breakfast buffet was included. . The staff were friendly and efficient. The only negative would be the flimsy plastic utensils we used for breakfast. Thank you for the personalise service of Anne Marie who appeared with metal utensil and a pen for my Suduko!

Got there at around 7:30 pm and was immediately impressed with the exterior appearance and lighting. Guy at front desk was very outgoing and accommodating. Great room and good breakfast. Great morning staff!!! Would definitely go back!!!

We stopped at this hotel on our way up north to visit family. The hotel was very nice and the staff friendly. The outside of the hotel was nice and well kept. The rooms were clean and new ,everything was in working order.

Six of us stayed there for business from Monday to Friday for six weeks. Amazing and clean! Tried another hotel in the area first but didn't compare. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The staff made the stay that much more enjoyable. Erin and Taz are above and beyond what you would expect. Extremely helpful, patient and friendly. Will definitely come back. Thank you Best Western!

I had stayed there for couple weeks due to work and I must say it was one of the best stays I ever had. The stay was great, the rooms were comfy. Had a heated pool great for the cold weather. Complimentary hot buffet was great! Lots of great choices.

Needed a quick night to sleep before a long drive the next morning. Had a great room, clean and quiet, and great breakfast in the morning. Tons of parking and very convenient to the highway, great fitness centre and pool. Breakfast was very filling and provided many options.

They have great service we found. Once our plane was delayed getting into Toronto (after 2am), so we couldn't get a rental car to Woodstock. The BW Suites didn't charge us for the 1st night which we had booked and let us come in at 8am to rest up. Amazing!!

We liked the fact that this hotel was back off the main road. Very clean. Close to a large shopping centre.Wonderful ladies working the breakfast. The breakfast had a good selection. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for two nights for a hockey tourney. The staff went up and beyond ensuring that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We appreciate the patience with our hockey girls and giving us space to enjoy our time when not in the arena for wind down time, pool time, pizza party and some cards in the dining area. This seems to be a relatively new facility and as such all the public areas and my suite were in great shape. Clean, well thought out, anticipates your every need. Check-in was quick. Professionaly handled with a good sense of humour. Room rate was very reasonable. Lots of free surface parking. There is a lounge serving wine and beer but no restaurant. There are many restaurants relatively nearby but not within walking distance. The shower bath was a touch small but since there was just me this was not a problem. A lot of thought went into the design and layout of my suite. Outlets and lights were plentiful and well located. None of that thing we've all done where you had to move something and stand on your head to get that one extra device plugged in. If you're one of those people who use your smart phone to go to sleep and wake you up the USB ports by the bed are a nice touch. Linens, pillows and towels were plentiful. Towels could have been a bit bigger but they worked. After a restful night's sleep, hit the standard business breakfast bar, get some nice coffee, quick friendly check out and you're good to go. I would enjoy staying here again and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed on Monday Thanksgiving night. Checked in, were given a room #121 on the first floor next to the laundry room. Asked to be moved, got to #217 and this was directly above the laundry room. Our previous stay was the same, very noise and were told it wouldn't happen again. It was late, we were tired and didn't want to move again, but had a very restless night. The Clerk at checkout should have checked the Hotel Map and would have seen that the room was above the laundry room. We were also charged extra as we went from a queen to a king and were not offered any reduction or credit for the next time. We have family in Woodstock and always stay at the Woodstock Best Western Plus. The last two times have been very disappointing. We will be going again the beginning of December, and if things are not up to snuff, we will frequent another Hotel in the area.

Spotless with very friendly staff and a good continental breakfast thrown in. Good chain restaurants nearby and easy access to 401.Found by chance but will use again. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

Stayed here on our way home from visiting Eastern Canada. Very easy on and off highway. Reception staff very pleasant and welcoming. Room was very clean and inviting. Lots of pillows on the beds ,mattresses were comfortable. Breakfast was fine but we looked forward to making one last stop at Timi's before heading to Illinois. There were several restaurants close by but not within walking distance. There was a pizza delivery service available . Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends

We arrived at the hotel around 8:00pm and it was very dark. The hotel is off the Main Street so it's very dark. The lobby is very small and we were checked in quickly. The room was very nice and modern and you could tell that it was new. Unfortunately the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever had and as a result I slept very poorly. We didn't make it to the free breakfast. I grabbed a quick coffee and that was about it. We were eager to check out and be on our way. Overall the hotel is nice for a stopover but I don't think I'd stay again just because of the bed situation.

It was a last minute choice, but a very good one.. The employees are very nice and helpful. The whole place is very clean. The room was perfect. They have a small, heated pool and gym. The free breakfast was the nicest so far I've seen and eaten so far in a hotel. They have warm food too and the waffles are delicious according to my friend. :) The lady who works in the kitchen is really nice. Once she found out that I can't have regular bread, even offered gluten free one. The internet worked well. We would return anytime. ????

We stayed her while traveling through from Stratford to Toronto and Niagara. It's a bit out of Stratford, but we were well on our way to Toronto the next morning. Fairly new hotel with all the expected amenities. Clean rooms, friendly staff, free parking. What else do you need?

What a great hotel! The rooms are wonderful. The lobby is welcoming and spacious. Staff is helpful and friendly, and it's cheap, and includes breakfast. You can't go wrong. We paid $87.00 with taxes, and there were cookies in the lobby as well as the breakfast.

The employees are fantastic, happy, helpful & caring! These employees are extremely polite & go out of their way to help you. The room was exceptionally clean. The included breakfast is phenomenal. The hotel is well placed. It's only minutes to go downtown. There are many restaurants that are fantastic. I recommend this hotel to all of you. Enjoy!

My wife and I stayed here one night while visiting Woodstock. This hotel sits on a hillside just off the main street. It appears to be quite new with a lovely indoor pool and weight room. The room is large and the bathroom is well appointed (with a fan). A fridge, good TV, desk, ironing board, etc is included...everything you need. The free breakfast is hot and while not spectacular is quite sufficient. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is the air conditioner has a small rattle in it on low speed which was a bit annoying at night. Otherwise our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Woodstock.

It was a very nice room and everything was clean and new. The window seat was a pleasant addition. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was just the right place to overnite on our way to the airport in toronto. The breakfast was very good.

Woodstock is centrally located in SW Ontario and is convenient to a number of places. The hotel is close to many restaurants and has negotiated discounts with many of them. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Several small individual rooms have been converted to suites. The additional room is very much appreciated.

Visited our grandson for two nights. Excellent check in. Very clean and modern. Room was great. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great and Ann Marie,the breakfast attendant went above and beyond. Certainly an asset to the hotel. Cookies,home baked,in the lobby was a welcoming touch. Smoke and pet free. Close to 401 on ramps and downtown. Enjoyed everything.

The room was well kept and the personnel very professional and attentive. There was a small problem with what smelled like cigaret smoke in my room but may not have been and the staff addressed the issue, clearing the smell immediately. Another time I went out and left my hotel key in the room, there again the staff acted promptly but carefully, making sure my claim was genuine. This hotel makes me feel safe. Excellent staff and good protocol.

All was good. Loved the room layout. I loved the window seat.Great friendly staff with obvious pride of their work.Location was good close to many conveniences. I would definitely tell friends of this place and intend to return. Also loved having those fresh baked cookies when returning from our daily outing.?? Hope to find time to use pool next time.

A very nice stop over close to the 401 for easy access while travelling. Rooms are not huge but very comfortable with great beds and televisions. A smallish bathroom but very decent shower and good towels. Ample breakfast. Stayed here 3 times.

Very nice rooms. The double queen room had a window seat with cushion - nice for reading, or if you have guests to the room. Excellent beds. Bathroom nicely tiled. The staff are trained to multi-task so anyone in uniform might check you in or out. Breakfast bar featured waffle maker. Good coffee, selection of cereal, juices, breads/muffins - open till 10:00 on weekends. Would stay here again!

This hotel was very clean. The room was fresh and the beds were very comfortable. The linens were impeccable.They even provided a clean sleeve for the TV remote! The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! This hotel is 8 years old and we thought it was brand new! Highly recommended!

i called and booked my room. We had two adults and one child (16 years old). Gave all the info to, Iran, the person answering the phone. She quoted it at $149.00 for a room with a king size bed and pull out couch. When I said that I was a CAA member, the price was reduced to $142.99. When I checked out, the price of the room was raised to $151.99 (and it was the manager who checked me out). When I complained, he said that sorry, that was the price. On top of that, I just read in the CAA magazine, that BW is supposed to give AT LEAST a 10% discount on the room. I didn't get the discount...and it was more than originally quoted! BEWARE to all staying there....they seem to charge what they want upon checkout!

Family party of 5 including 2 children. We were able to have 2 Jr King rooms next door. The grandparents had one child and our daughter kept the other. Small but nice indoor pool loved by grandson. Great for unwinding after long road trip. Very clean. Excellent expanded continental breakfast enjoyed by all. Would recommend to friends & family

The entire hotel experience was super. Great staff, clean rooms, central location. The breakfasts were always plentiful and hot. The pool was clean and the hotel overall well-maintained. We recommend it highly.

This hotel is a perfect pick for anyone visiting this area. Newer and very fresh and contemporary, the double queen room was large and a terrific deal at $85.00. Indoor pool, a small lobby bar, great hot breakfast, it's the idea spot for a visit to Woodstock. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area with a discount card from the hotel, close to the highway and area businesses, you can't go wrong with this Best Western. It as the best! Highly recommend.

Clean! The shower looked brand new and the tub was slanted back so when you lie down in the tub it's comfy. The beds were nice. The room had two queen beds, mini fridge, and microwave. A/C was working great. The only thing was the walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors a little. However, with the friendly staff and the comfort and how dead tired I was, it didn't even matter. It was 935pm when we checked in and the lady suggested my daughter could swim for 20 minutes if she hurried. This made us both happy because that was very important for her. Oh, and the price was REALLY good!

Scarest night of my life. Someone had entered our card secured/locked room. I was staying with my husband and 1 yr old daughter. This happend at 3am...went downstairs to put in a formal complaint. Explained we were leaving as soon as we packed everything up. Manager contacted us and called me a liar. Worst customer service ever. I will never EVER stay at any best westerns ever again.

Spent countless nights at this BW location over the past 2 years. Each time its perfect. Great staff, Great decor and the beds are perfect! Will continue to recommend and stay here each time I possibly can.

We stayed at this property this past weekend while in town for a softball tournament. The hotel was outstanding and the service was above and beyond. Taz at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we were able to get early check in, made a few room changes so my group was more comfortable and had such a great attitude about all of my unusual requests. The rooms were spacious and very reasonably priced and breakfast was really good. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping and easy to find. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, and again cannot say enough nice things about the staff, Taz in particular.

We stayed here back in March 2016 and were very impressed. We again found ourselves in the Woodstock area and gladly returned to this BW+. It's just a fresh, welcoming, squeaky clean place to stay with a much better than average breakfast venue.

The hotel was affordable, modern and clean. Our room was spacious and worked perfect for parents traveling with small children. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the pool. It is located near many restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

We chose the hotel based on Trip Advisor ranking and we were not disappointed. We had 3 rooms for 1 night.Every room had long-wide window seats that a child could sleep on. One room was the 2-bedroom suite for a family of four; for them it was a wow experience. Friendly and helpful staff. 10%-20% discount at nearby restaurants. Rates VERY reasonable. Children used the pool. Free wi-fi Only issue for me was the hot water was not very hot.

This hotel was very reasonable. We stayed three nights got a special rate. We stayed here as it was close to Stratford and we saved money as hotels in Stratford are more expensive. The breakfast was included and had wide variety to choose from including a waffle maker. Complimentary tea and coffee any time day or night. Front desk and breakfast lady very pleasent. No hot tub but we knew that when we booked. Only suggestion is for them to upgrade the TP for softer one. Would definitely stay there again

Travel with husband, young adult daughter and her boyfriend. Booked the two bedroom family suite which included kitchenette, living area and separate baths. Enjoyed the breakfast and pool. Great stay.

We had a super positive experience from our arrival right to our checkout. The hotel seems modern and new, as well as being very clean. Staff was friendly. Price was ideal. Breakfast was hot and plentiful - much more than your standard continental breakfast. I'd return here and recommend to others.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, clean and had comfortable beds. Large choice of items at breakfast which is included in the room price. The hotel is close to Highway 401 so easy to get to for a quick layover.

It's somewhat off the beaten path, easy to get to off the 401, and yet in a very quiet area. The hotel is relatively new, with a small pool, fitness area and a dedicated area for breakfast - which is kept well stocked during the morning, and is a cut above most hotels that provide a free breakfast. Check-in fast and efficient, staff pleasant. Would recommend.

Booked a room here as I was coming up for the recent Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame inductions. Price was great, room was even better. Great location, easy to get to and easy to get to St. Mary's as well. Room was very clean and comfortable, free breakfast was good, enjoyed the pool as well. Will definitely book here again for future HOF trips.

The hotel is in an amazing shape! Everything is new and look so great. The room smelled nice, but not strong. The mattress and the bedsheets are of very good quality, the room is very spacious. Internet is fast, TV is good. And it is very close to the highway.

I smelt gas in my room went to the front desk and was told by the manager several times no I wasn't , feeling maybe that I didn't I went back to my room and yes I insisted he call the gas company .. There was a leak and yet I was treated like I created the problem . I have stayed at this hotel since it open 3 sometimes a year , so to be treated this way after finding that problem is very unsettling I will not be back

An OK property conveniently located adjacent to Highway 401 in Woodstock, Ontario. Would benefit from better soundproofing and a wider choice of TV channels. In-room Director needs to be updated. It contains details of an in-house dining room that no longer operates.

I vsited this BW Hotel 4 years ago (it was another brand in that time) - and it is still a very good place to stay. Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, good internet, nice and clean pool, good breakfast with changing hot items. I felt very well (again).

Stayed here twice in a week: 1st time as a couple, 2nd time with our children . This smaller hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast as well as the decor. We appreciated the adjoining rooms and the efforts the hotel staff made to make us comfortable. We are planning another stay in July.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at this very accommodating hotel, can't thank the staff enough for there hospitality, the rooms were cleaned and kept immaculate daily, everyone was so friendly, Taz, Michelle, Amy, Lecia, Shelley, and others I can't remember all put themselves out to help with our requests, my wife has family in Woodstock and this was an ideal location for us, Toronto by train from Woodstock station which is only a 5 minute drive from hotel was a great way of getting into the city, breakfast was basic but satisfying, the breakfast team were brilliant, everything was kept stocked up,cereals, waffle maker, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, selection of pastries, toast, everything you need to start the day, coffee and tea available all day and night, totally recommend this hotel for business or leisure, we will definitely be back, once again Thankyou to all staff.

We arrived here after an 8hr flight to find the hotel was full with 3 lacrosse teams in! Despite that we had a great night sleep. Very comfy bed, quite location, ac worked well and lady on reception very helpful.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming - rooms were beautiful. Friendly staff and convenient location. Breakfast was included but was nothing special (regular continental breakfast). Gym facilities were not air conditioned and it was VERY hot!

I found and booked this hotel through the information I received on Trip Advisor. The price was extremely reasonable, the rooms are modern, very clean and quiet. I booked the room along with breakfast. I must say for a small eating area I thought perhaps we'd get toast and muffins, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a variety to choose from including scrambled eggs, sausages, various breads (English muffins, white bread, backed), also a waffle maker for fresh waffles, muffins, yogurt and small pasties. They also had a selection of fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Perfect for a quick bite! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Pack your bathing suit and workout gear as they also have a small exercise area and pool. I'd certain recommend this location to anyone.

I wanted somewhere to relax and catch up on business. Lots of good restaurants near by. I loved reading on the chair under the window. The area was quite. Nice view of the golf course. Very relaxing. Good internet allowed me to catch up on work.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hotel staff (especially Taz at the front desk) were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and up to date. The amenities were great, and the location is near pretty much anything you could need. I highly recommend this hotel if in the area!!

This best Western is a great place to stay. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is close to lots of restaurants. Go to Dean Michaels (which is very close) for breakfast. It costs a little more but it is well worth it. I would stay here anytime.

Super nice hotel ,very modern,comfy beds,great breafast,overall stay was excellent. We choose Best Western Plus whenever the location and price is good.The staff is very helpful and attentive to details which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Did a one nighter with the family, in town for a family function. Hotel is super clean, with a very modern lobby and fresh modern rooms. Bathrooms basic but very clean. On that point the only negative thing I have to say, the rooms are noticeably small. But if you want to party with friends you can use the lobby area that has a bar in it( not sure of the hours or how it works, didn't use it.) There was a hockey team having a gathering when we stayed and we were the first room in the hall adjacent to the lobby, but with the door that separates the lobby and the rooms and maybe good insulation we didn't hear a thing. Nice pool that the kids used with a hot water rinse shower right on the pool deck(handy). Breakfast was very good with all of the usual continental foods including hot items, eggs(not the best) ,sausage, waffles, toast. The staff working the front desk and breakfast area were fantastic. Location of the hotel is also good, not too far from the highway and not in a busy part of town, a strip of restaurants is only about a 3 minute drive away. Definitely recommend.

just what we wanted, priced right, room was ready early which made it better for us. Our family was close by and we met at a close restaurant for a nice dinner. Woodstock is a nice town, mall within walking distance.

Great location, excellent up to date and clean rooms all at a reasonable price. Room decor was surprising at first glance. Quite a bit more than expected from a BW. Seating area under the window was a nice touch. Breakfast was par for this type of hotel and had most everything you need considering it was included in your rate. I will be back.

I rate my stays by the mattress. This one was great! I would highly recommend this place. Check in was good. We were too tired for breakfast so it is not rated! Place is quiet even though next to highway.

We arrived late in evening and we were greeted by lovely front desk staff (Taz and another lady). We were given a room on the first floor which was clean, with a modern décor. Our room had 2 queen beds which did not leave much space for anything else. It was a tight squeeze getting my suitcase from the door; pass the beds to the closet. The bathroom was also tight on space... water pressure and temperature was good. Our friends who also stayed in the hotel upgraded a 2 bedroom suite, which had a larger fridge and small stove, but did not come with much else (no cutlery, dishes, etc.). The suite was spacious and homey enough for the two night stay. At one point we comfortably had about 8 people in the common room. We stayed for 2 nights. A standard hotel Breakfast was included; it was the standard cereal, bagel and waffle maker. There were some eggs and sausages however they were gone by the time I got to the eating area by 9:30 am each day. There are a few chain restaurants within less than a five minute drive and in few dinners down town Woodstock in case you want more yoghurt and bagels. Or bring your own there is a mini fridge and microwave. Hotel lobby was clean and seemed newly decorated. Staff throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful. The pool is smaller and great for pool fun but if you want a work out use the gym. Our room was on the first floor just down from the pool area. When we were walking towards our room, I could smell the pool cleaning products. I worried that the smell would be in the room as well; however that was not the case. There was no odour from the pool in the room. For that matter there no extra noise resulting from people walking to and from the pool. The location of the hotel is great about 5 minutes from the highway, which is great if you are just stopping for a rest on your journey. Pros: Staff, cleanliness, location to highway, Pet free, Wi-Fi worked well Cons: Tight space, room lighting is poor when trying to put on make-up (only an issue if two people are getting ready at the same time). Streets around the hotel are not pedestrian friendly, no side walks in the immediate area.

My sister and I were returning from vacation in Virginia and decided to go through Canada to get home. I found this in the AAA tour book and we decided to stay here as we were tired and it was close. What a wonderful hotel! The room was beautiful, the rate was reasonable, and the staff was great. AND we got a very good breakfast here! I would give this an A and a highly recommend. We will be traveling through Canada again in October and plan to stay here again.

The hotel is nice and reflects pictures you have on internet. Only the breakfast that needs to be improved. The breakfast does not reflect the status of the hotel. The personnel is very kind and helpful. The hotel is well located and very calm.

The pool was small but clean and well maintained. No movie rentals available. No restaurant or bar. All food is provided by external delivery. There are a dozen good restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Our stay was totally positive - no room for improvement. In fact, we are cancelling our reservation at another Best Western Plus that does not have great reviews and booking here again on our way home.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The lobby is very nice and the cookies superb! They had a bagged breakfast ready for me since I had to check out at 5 am. I would definitely stay at this hotel again,

This Best Western offers everything that you could possibly need. Staff is excellent, accommodations are the best, information of the area excellent. We have stayed many times at this Best Western and will be returning soon.

hotel was beautiful inside and out, the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. the room was very comfortable,. my family and i really enjoyed are stay there.... the hotle was very easy to find off of the highway and there were plenty of surronding stores and resturants in the area of the hotel.. the pool was very clean.

Once again a nice stay in Woodstock Ontario, getting my usual room really adds to the coming home feeling of my stays there. Everyone were very helpful and professional. Cleanliness and the general new feeling of this hotel is great.

We usually try to stay at a Best Western Plus when we're on the road because there is a 'standard' that you come to expect. (And BW has an excellent rewards program) The Woodstock BW+ far exceeds this standard. Everything feels brand new, squeaky clean and modern. A friendly staff and great location adds to the positive experience. There is a nice indoor pool and exercise room. There is no restaurant on site, but there are dozens of eateries close by, as well as many that offer delivery. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Modern hotel in quite good location. Parking lot was big enough for bigger cars and there was always space available. Breakfast was quite good and enough food choices. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. I can recommend this hotel.

Our second stay here to attend the Woodstock Toy Show & to just get away for a couple of days. Very nice, nearly new, very clean, quiet hotel. The staff are especially helpful. We will certainly return.

A very pleasant 3 night stay in a very clean modern King Jr. suite which accommodated our needs perfectly. Great TV, fantastic picture, can watch from desk or sofa or bed. Ample space with sitting area and small dining table. Really well designed room with nice art work and with a cute and handy window seat covering ventilation unit. Extra pillows in closet. A very good breakfast with options for every appetite and a very nice lady keeping everything clean and stocked. Smallish bathroom but everything else was so good I hardly noticed.

Travelled with a group for a girls basketball tournament. Service was excellent. Front desk employees were friendly and welcoming. The lounge was a nice, comfortable place to hang out for both the parents and the kids. The swimming pool has an abundance of natural light and was enjoyed by some of the kids. The gym had everything you would need. The breakfast had sufficient hot and cold selections. The people working in the breakfast area were friendly and kept everything clean and well stocked. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family or friends.

Hotel looked very new. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the room design, with a Chaisse Lounge built into the window frame. Would suggest arriving early for breakfast if there are any sports teams in town - hot food at breakfast was scarce, although the rest was good.

I don't stay at Best Westerns very often but was quite impressed with this hotel. Very clean, looks and feels like new with modern styling. Beds were comfortable, flat screen TV was good quality. Only small gripe was the breakfast was ordinary. Yucky powdered scrambled eggs and no fresh fruit.

We stayed here because 1) it is a Best Western and 2) it was close to a family gathering. We needed an early check-in and got it. After the family obligation the wife and I return to the hotel and unwound in the lounge area and the internet area. The lounge is in the front entrance/reception area so not big on privacy but beer and wine were good.

When in town visiting family for Christmas this is our hotel of choice. Stay Christmas night and always find front desk clerks very friendly. Rooms are super clean. Bed is comfy! Bathrooms could be larger. For two people are OK, but with a family would like more room. Vanity space is at a premium. The only tiny problem, was the lady at the front desk did not mention their free breakfast to us. Fortunately from staying there before we where familiar with it.

I have stayed at this property two out of the last six weeks for work. I am typically a Marriott or Hilton girl but this is my client's preferred location. Let me say that I have been very pleased with both of my stays. The staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. There are many options for dining less than a mile away, as well as a super Wal Mart and several miscellaneous stores. There's also a hospital right there (should the need arise). I may not be a Best Western girl as a rule but I will ALWAYS choose this property when in the area!

This has to be the best hotel we have stayed at this year of all the tournament hotels we have used. Clean, comfortable, reasonable and a lovely breakfast included! Our first game was at 8am in a town 40 min away and the staff accomodated us and had breakfast ready for 6am so we could eat and be on our way...how lovely is that?! Very nice staff and just a lovely stay. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Its always good to be back at this hotel. For the first however I did not get the same room as I had in all my other visits to this hotel, a bit of a letdown since that really added to the coming home feeling of my visits there, but nevermind good to be back and I hope I get my usual room going forward.

The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond the call to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There wasn't anything that we requested that wasn't attended to with a friendly word and a smile.

I've stayed at Best Westerns coast to coast in the States and all across Ontario; this is arguably the cleanest, freshest, nicest, and quietest there is. Outstanding in every respect; once I was comped a suite, this time we selected one, and for an extra ten bucks or so it's a real experience. Frankly, I was in my thirties before I lived in a place this nice. We will absolutely keep this our first choice in the area.

We were traveling from Ottawa to Halifax. I stop after midnight at Woodstock Best western hotel. It was a proper location to me over night staying after along driving day. Hotel was clean and warm. They offer swimming pool and Gym as well. BEDROOM was specious, bathroom was wide, clean and nice towels. Size of mattress is considerably large. All are clean. Only problem to me was Pillows are too thick. Frankly I couldn't sleep in deep. I may recommend you to ask a slim pillow.In room free Wi-Fi Hot breakfast is serving which quantity and quality was good. Staffs were polite. I can stay in this place again.

Stayed here 1 night whilst in Ontario on our way to visit Niagara Falls. This is a large hotel and it's modern, clean and comfortable. My room (Room #303) was large with two Queen beds, fresh and nicely decorated with a nice clean bathroom which was also very nicely done. My in room WiFi worked perfectly and was Free. My room rate of CN$121 per night (circa GB£60) included breakfast which was basic but adequate and the staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is conveniently just off Hwy 401 at junction 232. There is plenty of free parking. Would certainly stay here again and I recommend it as a very nice budget chain hotel.

The cleanliness, friendly staff, caring staff, immaculate building, extremely clean rooms, clean pool and fitness room, breakfast is warm and delicious. Close to restaurants, golf next door, wi fi excellent. There is nothing left undone to make your stay the best possible time. Excellent value.

I came to Woodstock for a surprise birthday party and decide to stay at this Best Western, I was really impressed. The room was really nice and I had a room that looked over the golf course with a window seat. It was really nice but the most best part of my stay was the amazing night sleep I got, the bed was so comfort and the staff at the front desk - Michelle and Shelley was so helpful and nice. I did not try the breakfast except for a muffin which was really good. The person who was in charge of the kitchen was at the desk and when I said I was going out to breakfast with my friends, she said let me get you a muffin for later and it was really good. The hotel is very clean and nice. Did not go in the pool but it look very nice.

All round this is probably the best experience which we have ever had in an hotel especially as I rated every aspect as excellent. It was an excellent location and was very quiet during the night which resulted in quality sleep. My husband and I would certainly stay there if there is another occasion to stay in Woodstock, ON.

Overall the rooms were good. A bit odd with two bathrooms but it all worked out. The guest card did not work in the pool door or one exterior door. Inconsiderate guests made the swim in the pool not enjoyable as the parents did not caution their children about others in the pool.

Stayed in a King Suite and were very impressed with the hotel, the accommodations and the comfort of things. Will definitely stay there again. The value of the room was fantastic. Did not use the pool but it looked nice. The continental breakfast was good too.

Stayed here for two nights with family over a weekend. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the room (a junior suite) was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was good, if a little dull. The hotel is located conveniently by restaurants and other services, as well as the hospital. Upon check-in the front desk staff let us know we would receive a 10% discount off a meal at three of the nearby restaurants when we showed our key. This was a nice touch after arriving late in the day.

A definite great place to stay for anyone! Very welcoming from the moment you walked in. Newly renovated and very clean! They accomadated an earlier breakfast time for my son's soccer team. All staff were great to deal with right from the start of a group booking! Highly recommended
