Best Western Woodland Inn

Stayed for 6 nights very pleasant stay. Staff was very accommodating, clerk and housekeeping went above and beyond to help me. Easy access on and off the freeway. There was hot coffee 24/7 not only in the morning which I appreciated very much. I encountered 4 different day/night clerks while I was there and every one of them was super nice and helpful.

I stayed here to attend a dog show in Ridgefield. The motel is close to shopping and freeway access! Great service. Because I was attending a dog show, I needed a motel that was "pet friendly" and they were very accommodating!

Older hotel, very colorful and friendly people. Decent breakfast and good coffee. Easy access to room. Comfortable bed and great shower. Key card failed once or twice every day. Had to go to the from=nt desk to get it reprogrammed 3 times in 3 days

I called Best western Woodland when another hotel reservation fell through. The lady who accommodated me was extremely nice and I felt like I wanted to stay there for sure. The hotel was beautiful, the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly and laid back. The amenities were great. The pool was the biggest hit! I will recommend this hotel to others and definitely be back again.

Very convenient and close to family and shopping! We thought the bed was very comfortable and we appreciate that it was close to our family that we were visiting for the Fourth of July! We shopped at the Birkenstock outlet and had lunch at Burgerville!

Stayed here for a visit to Mt. St. Helens. The room was large, a single with a king bed, typical best western bathroom(toilet paper roll location is terrible), a frig, microwave, tv, and desk along with a sitting area. Room was clean and staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was ok at best. Eggs, bacon(no taste), potatoes, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit. Easy place to stay and typical results here. Little pricey for what you get as well.

The room was clean and we slept well they gave me a discount for my first night I stayed 5 day but then they billed me extra for the other 4 nights so I wasn't sure what to think when I had 20 dollars added separately to each night stayed it's like she got upset because she thought it was only one night but that's how my job paid me for the per diem so that's how I did it they went not friendly or out going not very good In my opinion.

Upon arrival, we immediately had an issue when checking in and after that, we were treated as we didn't even exist. We were not greeted whenever we'd go into the lobby, even to ask for help with something, we were ignored constantly and the staff were not attentive to our needs whatsoever. The hot tub wasn't working but there was no signs saying that it wasn't nor was it closed off and we weren't told anything. There was also a code on the door to get into the pool area that we never received so we had to ask another person staying at the hotel to help us in because we couldn't get help from any of the staff to get inside. In the morning for breakfast, there was so little food out with so many people that it was quickly eaten up and not reloaded so we had to try to find someone to get more which was very difficult and took a long time. The fridge in our room wasn't even plugged in when we arrived and barely worked once we got it turned on so a lot of our items that we bought went bad. The plug in the bathtub didn't work very well so it was challenging giving our kids a bath in it. The beds, pillows, and blankets were so awful, I wish we would've brought all of our own. We were so uncomfortable that we slept very poorly. It's a nice hotel but the people working there were not kind to us and the amenities need to be updated and better taken care of.

I would definitely stay here again. My husband and I were pleased with our room It's close to the freeway with easy access on and off the freeway and lots of restaurants close by. Excellent Mexican restaurant around the corner

Had a wonderful room with hot tub. There were plenty towels in the bathroom and at the hot tub located in other room. Room was VERY nice and clean. And the bed was perfect. Will most definitely be staying there again!

We had an unplanned stay at the Best Western in Woodland due to weather. That said, we could not have been more pleased. First, we were greeted with such hospitality by the general manager, Cyndi. She was welcoming and made us feel right at home. Second, the room appeared to have been recently remodeled and was impeccably clean. Though our stay was short, we were thankful for such a pleasant oasis.

Recent one night stay. Pets allowed, but unsanitary exterior grass areas. Not even plastic bags to pick up. Rooms dated. Old carpet. Did not feel very clean. Friendly desk service, but a bit chaotic and slow. Poor breakfast selection.

This was a nice place to stay as I5 south/north is horrible when it is raining hard and dark. The rate was nice, and as always the breakfast was delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful in providing directions to locations to eat.

The front desk offered no welcome, no smile, no greeting at all. Starting off with “Name?” isn't a great way to welcome a guest. No services to speak of, and other than the beer pub next door, the location was really near nothing without getting in your car to drive across the freeway for basic food, etc. The room was clean and air conditioning worked. Decor was old. No reason to return.

Finding a fake eyelash with my hand when I placed it on the bathroom counter was disgusting! The counter was multiple colors so I didn't see it there. I also changed my original charge card, and still have not received my security deposit back.

We stayed here one night on our way to Seattle. Price was right. The facility was clean. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast tasty with lots of options. Will stay here again on next trip to Seattle.

We were looking for a place near the venue of an destination wedding, this place was clean offered a reasonable breakfast and also included indoor pool for those that want to take a dip. Would advise that it is tucked away off the main street so it's quiet but our GPS had trouble entrance.

I completely blame the owners of this establishment for the state of this place. Best Western should remove their brand from this motel. The person who checked us in was very nice, but the state of the facilities is shockingly bad. Nothing's been updated for decades. Literally. They provide one small piece of soap for the room. The walls have paint marks that don't match. Everything felt worn down, dark and dirty. You feel your lifeforce drained from you with every moment you stay there. Indeed, we left after the first night and ate the second night fee.

Very few choices in this town, but this was the wrong one for sure. You are better off staying in Vancouver and driving. I spend around 300 nights a year in hotels and this one is by far one of the worst. Breakfast was horrible, the tables were dirty and the food was bad. The staff was rude and I was not impressed by the dark and dirty appearance of the interior of the hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. My child was stuck by a needle in the bed on 6/19/2022. I now have to take a 5 year old to multiple blood draws and hope she is ok. Do not stay at the best western in woodland WA it is not clean and it is not safe

Stayed here for 1 night for concert. We had our service dog with us. I was asked what service my dog provided and after telling him he said many people try and pass their therapy dogs off for service dogs. The way they spoke to me felt intrusive. Then when the same person saw my husband, he asked if he was chewing tobacco and said he couldn't chew on their site. Then when my daughter went down to the front to grab a complimentary cookie, she was questioned if she was staying there and asked for a room number.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Checking out: Response from front desk was terrible. Patronizing tone of voice. She acted as if it wasn't such a big deal. She said they could have moved me to another room but I didn't report it. (I'd gotten in at 2:30 am and I was exhausted, so I just went to bed with my clothes on and didn't use the toilet.) Unbelievable!

After leaving a coffee out in the room on the desk, we came back to ants all over the desk. We reported the issue to the front desk and it seemed that this was a common issue, the individual at the front desk reported that there was no room to move to and as the property does not use bug sprays we were offered a cleaning spray and towels to take care of the ants. While I understand not leaving items out, this is not camping or even a tropical location and I have never experienced ants in a hotel room and have left things such as coffee/redbull or garbage out previously. In addition to this issue, the morning of checkout which was at either 11 or 12 we received two knocks on the door from housekeeping, checking if we were still there, first at 8:30am and again at 10:15 am. It was overall not a please t experience. The folks at the front desk were very kind, welcoming and accommodating when we arrived and sympathetic to the ant situation but that is the only positive.

I stayed here with friends after a concert at Ilani Casino in early April. My husband and I had stayed here about a year prior and I was very happy to see the potholes in the driveway had been fixed and the lobby has been renovated. Hot breakfast has also made a return! My friend commented that the coffee in the lobby was the best hotel coffee she has had and I would agree! The front desk staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

We chose this hotel because they offered breakfast each morning. Coffee and tea was always available. Cookies at night. Our room was on the upper floor and was very quiet. It was clean and comfortable. The staff we talked with were all very friendly. I will stay here again.

I was in town for a short business trip and stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast item selection was great with something for everyone. The hotel sits back off the main road and is quiet. I recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We found the staff to be friendly and our room was comfortable and clean. A variety of breakfast options were offered and it was nice to be able to eat in the dining area. Grab-and-Go breakfast bags were also available for those who prefer not to eat in the dining area.

Decent room, quite outdated and in need of maintenance, even fresh paint looks bad if it is several layers, AC shotty, most of the TV channels locked and unavailable, shower overflows, toilet plumbing bad, beds lumpy, bedding scratchy

This best Western is located right off I5 and is close to restaurants and shopping you may need to do. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The pool was nice to be able to use the hot tub is closed due to covid.

Rooms are nice fairly spacious have both a bedroom area and a living room area. Microwave refrigerator coffee maker all included in the room. Overall the breakfast area fairly basic waffles some scrambled eggsCereal and some juices certainly work. The bigger downside was the Internet dropped connections all the time frustrating to work with. Also plenty of freeway noise

Great hotel for the price if going to the ilani casino. Has a great breakfast with cereal, oatmeal, various juices, bagels, toast. Two waffle irons with two different types of batter. Really liked the cinnamon roll batter.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff. First guy nearly fought with me over a couple of extra coffee pods for my room, and even tho I had called 2 days earlier to check on hot tub and pool I was assured both were working fine.. The hot tub had been taken apart for repairs 4 to 5 days earlier and was broken the whole 3 day stay. Second day, I complained to the gal at front desk about rudeness of guy yesterday. She told me he was militant, but was reliable. What does that mean???

I had business in the area and decided to stay here upon check-in was quick but when I walked into the room that I was told was tracked twice even by a manager the bed had menstrual blood all over it.

Luke warm shower water because of broken circulator that we were not told about at check-in and when I called about it I was told that there was hot water and I didn't know what I was talking about and then on our 2nd night there was a couple screaming at each other and banging on the doors and walls and sounded like they were throwing furniture around from 1 am until 5am and again when I complained about that I was told sorry for my luck it wasn't there problem. Stay far away from this dive.

The pool here is very very nice. Large and the temperature was absolutely perfect! Also very quiet location no traffic noise even with my window open. As other reviews have said it's definitely an older Hotel that Best Western is trying to update and for the most part they've done a pretty good job. However there are a few places where it still needs some work. I would recommend replacing the older dated bathroom doors in the rooms. The carpet in my room was frayed in one corner it looked like it just wasn't tacked down completely. However the room was clean ( except for a few fingerprints and smudges on the window) even the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large.The hair dryer was nicer than most...actually had some power to dry hair. Breakfast was better than many in this price range...muffins, several flavors of bagels, toast, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs (with addins available), bacon, & potatos And as a bonus the tree outside my window made a beautiful picture on the wall of my bedroom from the light outside. I will definitely stay here again.

Upon check in, was advised pool was use at your own risk and told us a guest had already been badly injured instead of just closing it! Sheets were gritty and lumpy and the towels were also stained, every one of them. Went down the next morning and asked to be refunded for my next day stay due to us not wanting to stay in the hotel, Travelocity approved it and the hotel said that it was a Knogo and that we needed to just stay our extra night. Extremely rude front desk from checking on out. Definitely do not recommend this hotel. The pictures are a farce. Save this off your time and book elsewhere.

Because of work, I stay at the Best Western in Woodland, WA very frequently. The hotel is very nice and clean. I would recommend it anyone staying in the area. But I do want to point out one person there-Josh at the front desk. He is an exceptionally professional and friendly person. If you need or want anything he is on it. I have seen him deal with very difficult customers in such a calm, friendly and professional manner. I think any company would want this guy working for them. Shout out to Josh-Great guy!

Overall, I was pretty disappointed in my stay. When we checked in over the weekend, they informed us that they were not able to make room keys and we would need to have a team member unlock our door for us each time. I spent a lot of money for two nights and never received a room key. This method did not seem safe- and it was really inconvenient for guests and staff. The bathroom fan didn't work. The breakfast area had ceiling damage. The pool was pretty dirty (there were band-aids laying next to the hot tub). The front desk member that checked us out on Monday was pretty unfriendly. All of the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. Pros: fruit at breakfast, the team member that ran the breakfast station was very friendly, the bed was comfortable. I wanted so badly to like this place, but I will not stay here again.

This hotel seemed to be a little run down. It's also in a strange location. We checked in around midnight, and there wasn't enough parking, so we had to park in the lot of a nearby business. The check in person was friendly and efficient. When we got to our room, it looked like someone had taken a nap on the bed. It was mostly made, but the pillows were scattered and the decorative blanket was crumpled up on the floor. The sheets were intact. The room was clean. The toilet handle was broken, or missing a part and was very loose. It did flush though. It looks like some repairs had been done to the the shower walls, but the patch job wasn't sanded or painted over, so it looked half done. Overall, I don't think it was worth the $180 we paid. We haven't had these issues with Best Westerns in the past.

The check in was fast and the front desk young man was nice and friendly, our room when we went upstairs wasn't ready yet, but the house keeper was across the hall and got right to work cleaning our room, we left our luggage and went to eat, when we returned everything was clean and ready for our stay, whole stay was wonderful

Nice little motel. Close to restaurants and gas. First motel we've stayed at in 2 years that had a full hot breakfast. Very enjoyable. I would recommend this motel to anyone. It is only 23 miles from PDX.

I checked into this hotel on 8/28. When we got to our room we noticed the hotel door was propped open with a towel. Once we entered the room we walked into an offensive smell. It smelled like dead fish. We were told they could not change rooms for they were fully booked. We opened the windows, and plugged in a wax warmer to help with the smell. The attendant on duty came in and agreed there was a smell and sprayed some lemon spray that they use to get rid of smoke smell. We then closed everything up and heading out for a wedding, When we returned 5 hours later we were hit with the smell again. We went to the front desk where they said they couldn't do anything for us other than to spray the lemon spray again. We decided to drive back the 1.5 hours back to Olympia at night after a long day. As we were leaving the guy in the room next to us came out of his room, told us he could smell the fish smell in the hallway and that it was BS they were not doing anything for us. We were told we could not get a refund that night and would need to check in with with Manager Jessica on Monday. We messaged the manager on Monday who said that she and her staff investigated to find the smell and there was nothing in the room, Funny, she works Monday through Friday and we left Saturday night. Smells do dissipate, but doesn't mean it wasn't there on Saturday. Why was the room kept open with a towel? According to the manager it was because the skipped the inspection cause they gave us early check in? I have never checked into a room before that was kept open with a towel and then walked into an offensive odor. Think we were trying to air out the room??? Regardless, Jessica emailed me back and said there could have been a number of things that caused the odor, but since it was not there upon her investigation (minimally 12 hours later) and that her staff told her didn't smell the fish smell but did smell the wax warmer, she refused to give any refund. Now, we did book through Expedia and Expedia was willing to give the refund, but needed the Manager's approval which she refused, She did offer Best western dollars at half the value of what I paid. Really? We even went to corporate, but they basically said a refund was based on Jessica's decision. What happened to customer service? This hotel was almost $200 for the night and the last thing I wanted to do was drive back to Olympia, but I refused to sleep in a room that smelled like dead fish. Clearly this is my fault! I would never recommend staying here, The staff was unprofessional and the manager was even worse.

A dark parking lot, needed room repairs, low water pressure, and slow internet are just a few of the issues that I had on my return visit to this location in Woodland. Hopefully, the management will be able to get a few things straightened out, but I don't think that I will be returning again after this stay.

Hotel was nice and clean so we're the rooms however they have very limited parking and the crew weren't understanding of the situation.. my rating is overall due to staff and not the condition of the room the room was great

Josh at the front desk is incredibly unhelpful and flippant. The Jacuzzi was greenish/brown, smelled bad and only 1 jet was operational. The pool was so cloudy when children jumped in they disappeared into the water. Fitted bed sheets were on inside out leading me to believe it was not changed from the previous guest and mealy turned inside out for the next person to sleep on. Bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall, someone's spray from their toothbrush was on the wall and artwork in the bathroom.

We decided to escape the 100+ degree Seattle weather for a weekend trip to the Ilani Casino and this hotel was the closes to our destination. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, in room AC works great, lobby is clean, staff polite & professional, landscaping is well maintained, pool clean, nightly prices reasonable. Weekend front desk "Christina" & her team along with housekeeping made our first time at this Best Western not be our last time. Next time we return to Ilani Casino we will not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for great weekend Best Western family! Btw: The complimentary morning breakfast options are a great touch!

The hotel is great and the service is great. Also considering Covid the breakfast was great. The only bad thing was the driveway into it. Not good signage and very rough. Otherwise you will be totally satisfied.

Was a quiet hotel. Staff could be a little more friendly. Rooms need remodeled, new beds (Had a horrible back ache next morning, as did my friend). Breakfast was good considering Covid. If I were to go back today, I would not stay at this hotel, and I love Best Westerns. This one needs a "face lift".

What a nightmare. Josh at the front desk and Jessica the manager, both need to take some courses on customer service. I had to book a place to stay temporarily while I wait for my apartment to open up. After a couple nights, I met a SEX OFFENDER that was staying in the hotel while out with my dog. The management is awful and clearly has no customer service skills. After staying all week, my son whom suffers from a genetic deletion and severe autism drove 4 hours to come and visit me. I was so excited to take him swimming. Unfortunately, they don't allow guests that have already stayed the night to book a time to swim (COVID rules). When I explained that my son isn't able to manage his emotions and would not do well coming down every hour, 5 minutes before the hour to see if the pool is available to swim. We were informed that because we aren't checking in we had to swim before 3. It was now 6 pm. I was open to any time to reserve as there were NO RESERVATIONS AT THAT TIME. I offered to swim late, but was told too bad. Ms. Burton (General Manager), even had the nerve to compare my son to her "special needs child", in which she understood him but still would not allow us to make a reservation for an evening swim. Holding it for customers that haven't even checked in. So they lost a good customer that has spent almost $1000 over scheduling a time for a kid to swim. As of the sex offender staying there, I don't know his name but he told me he was staying there waiting to turn himself in. Not a safe place for any children!!!

Nice hotel, have stayed here before. Front counter gal couldn't tell me if the face mask requirement was a mandate or a law. Would be nice to have an intelligent conversation with someone while staring at them during check in/out.

The hotel staff here is unfriendly and needs to take hospitality lessons. We stayed in jetted tub room and took our dirty towels to the front desk to exchange for clean ones. They refused ..we did not know that you had to turn in a slip the night before for a bag breakfast in the morning.. they refused to give us a breakfast. The rooms are outdated and need repairs. The only thing good was that the bed was very comfortable.

In the days of COVID-19 I feel like hotel guests are entitled to a room that is BEYOND clean. The dust bunnies/cobwebs in the curtains wouldnt normally bother me too much but the bathroom sink had someone's long dark hair in it, along with some unknown debris. Very gross... see pics. What I will never forget about this place, is the free breakfast. Why a hotel would even bother paying their staff to produce such an embarrassment is beyond me. The last time I stayed at a Best Western (6 mo ago) the grab n go breakfast was generous with fresh fruits and many options such as waffles, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon... You get the point. Please look at the pics and this is the breakfast i received. A picture is truly worth a thousand words. Not a bad place really but if you are concerned with cleanliness or you expect to be served a breakfast anywhere close to edible... look elsewhere. I asked the front desk if I could have an additional orange juice and the woman working said: "no we cant do that, we're really trying to conserve." Unbelievable... look at that banana. If it werent so disgusting... it would be hilarious.

My husband and I booked a jacuzzi room here for a Saturday night "staycation" getaway. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated a hot breakfast "to-go" option. So five stars to the staff! I took a star off for the potholed driveway getting in to this hotel, and you will hear some road noise (and neighbor noise). But if you need somewhere to stay after a long day on the road, it's a fine stop.

I had a great stay at this hotel. My family goes here every time we get a hotel in town because they have great service and very clean rooms. Thanks for the great service over the many years since it was built

This is a nice place to stay and relax. The staff is friendly and they do a great job in making you feel welcome. The rooms are well kept and clean. We have stayed here often and never had any problems. Even during these tough times due to COVID-19 they make it safe to stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Parking lot extremely dark, wondered at our vehicle's safety. Chipped paint, scuffed walls, dried fruit on furniture. Could not get bag breakfast unless told then exact time I would pick it up. Asked them to hold it for me since i was leaving ar 9:10 to pick up my husband. They said they could not, if I did not get the bagged muffin by 9 I couldn't have it. When I shared with the mngr I felt like I was there for their convenience instead of receiving service from them she said she was not a servant and I shouldn't be rude. I pd $100 for this experience.

Rooms were very nice for the nights we stayed. We stayed at this best western two night on our trip and then one night on the way back. We needed a handicapped room with roll in shower for my husband. The getting into the shower was good, but there was no hand held shower which made it really hard for him to shower. I had to try to adjust the over head shower for him and it was a not nice experience. Hope they fix this. It's not truly handicapped assessable if you can't shower properly.

I have NEVER been so disappointed in staying somewhere in my life. The manager of this place is so RUDE. First I asked about the breakfast and I was told it was a Togo bag with water, granola bar, muffin, and fruit, I asked will I'm diabetic and lactose intolerance and she said well you can have the water. Then on trying to set up times for hot tub she's saying you have to do it 10 mins before to give everyone a chance, what a joke. And rude the whole time I'm talking to her. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. That is not how you run a business.

I travel to the Portland/ Vancouver area to see my doctors. I am partially handicapped with a large service dog. So when making a reservation I always ask for a king size bed on the ground floor, close to a outside door as possible for ease of taking my dog outside. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance was told that having a king sized bed on ground floor would be no problem. When I arrived was told there were no king sized beds left on ground floor. But that I could have a double queen on ground floor. I took it as at that point it was 9 pm and I had been driving all day. Was to sore and stiff to go anywhere else. BUT would have thought that for almost $600.00 they could have been a little more accommodating..

I stayed here while returning from a road trip. It's not a very attractive site, but it is close to the freeway. Not much around to speak of. The rooms and hallways were a potpourri of updated elements, and furnishings that look like they had been around for decades. The breakfast was mediocre. The toilet in my room was not working 100%. This feels like a property that is working to upgrade, but still has a ways to go to be at the same level as other Best Westerns.

I was travelling with three of my girlfriends for a birthday weekend. We were planning to go to the Ilani casino and this was the closest hotel. The room was a double queen and was enough to fit the four of us. It was clean and the beds and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was big enough and clean as well. Our closet door was broken but that was no big deal. It came with a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, baked items, cereals and yogurt and fruits. For a small area, it was a lot of variety. I wish they had a shuttle to the casino because Uber was about $40 for a Friday night round trip.

Only real complaint is never being offered or told anything about whether the pool was open & when we came back from dinner no staff at desk to ask. Beyond that stay was very comfortable especially considering how bad the stay was the night before at the Wenatchee Best Western Chieftain & what a difference this property was by comparison especially since they were the same level in the best western chain.

I have to travel to my work location every week and the Woodland, WA Best Western is very comfortable and very clean. There is comfortable furniture in the rooms so you don't have to sit on the bed. Will be staying here now all the time.

This Best Western sits back off the road and it is not very visible. What a hidden gem. The price was right and the service was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent, so many choices. The hotel is in excellent condition and very clean. Our room was nice and large and we loved how the bathroom was totally enclosed. The sink, toilet and shower were all in the same room! It's great for privacy! The pool and hot tub were heated nicely. All in all, a great stay!

My sister and I stayed there for a family funeral. We ended up getting very sick. The staff was very kind and helpful. The beds are so comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast bar is hot and a lot to choose from. Thank you for making a very hard time more bearable.

We enjoyed our stay. room was very clean. Location was quiet. The whirlpool tub was really nice. We chose this hotel because it was close to the ilani Casino. We did not try the free breakfast. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a very clean hotel. They allow my terrier to stay. The rooms are very suite-like and comfy. The food is reasonably good for breakfast and it's a full breakfast...not just a continental. We have stayed twice and my daughter has stayed twice and we will continue to use the facility.

Extremely clean hotel. Lovely room nicely decorated and fresh paint. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection for special dietary needs including non dairy milk substitute. I will stay here again. My only problem was difficulty with door lock as it was hard to get into the room

The staff was unfriendly. Rooms are just average. No place to get anything to eat after 8pm on a Saturday. Almost impossible to get transportation to and from Ilani. Overall, unhappy with this stay. I wouldn't recommend

This hotel has been recently renovated and is in immaculate condition.. While a bit had to find, it is nonetheless an excellent place to stay - quiet, friendly staff, and a very nice fitness centre. The beds are comfortable and overall a very good place to stay.

Was a great stay and real clean environment. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. And the internet was very high speed. Nice pool and hot tub and the rooms were very clean and nice. I would definately recommend staying at the best western.

This is one of the better Best Westerns! Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were greeted and welcomed by the front desk manager, Melissa. She went out of her way to make sure we would have a great stay, even gave us a different room more convenient to the washer/dryer area when she learned we had to do a load of laundry. The pool and hot tub area is open 24 hours, which is very convenient for travelers. We didn't use it, but it looked nice. The breakfast was very good; had eggs and sausage and several choices not offered by all hotel free breakfasts. We were very happy that we chose the Best Western Woodland Inn and recommend it to others.

We rented a king size room with the whirlpool. It was your basic average budget room. Nothing to fancy other than the bigger bed and whirlpool. Our room did have a mini fridge, microwave, and a tiny coffee pot. The whirlpool was a nice luxury. This hotel does have a pool, hot tub, and gym for guest but I didn't use any of them. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is included in the stay as well. It's a decent spread which is very nice while traveling. Items included were waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes (those were gross), yogurt, pastries, bread, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, cocoa and a few more odds and ends. The location was a little odd because its tuck back behind some other businesses but it kept things quite. I would come here again.

checked in. first room not even cleaned.went to front desk told them they sent me to a second room room door was wide open with big box fans blowing thru the room(why).went back to front desk a second time to say room has issues.I asked for my money back (158.00 dollars) because i got a bad feeling abount this place.lady at front desk says they cant give my money back. she said she had a (THIRD ) room that she will go see and make sure it was cleaned and ready.Lady comes back says room ( 3 ) is ready.I said are you sure? she said good to go. Wife and i go to the ( 3rd) room and guess what. between wall and bed is garbage and a pillow stuffed in the corner. this room was not properly cleaned. (i took pictures of the last 2 out of three rooms ) to show the front desk people.I asked for my money back again i was told they dont do that. Long story short .my personal Experiance i will never stay at this place or recomend this place.

The manager, Jessica Burton, went out of her way to accommodate my printing needs of important papers when the printer available to the public had issues.. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She was fantastic!!!

The description of this place says 'recently remodeled'. I did see a lot that was new, but there is still quite a bit that could be improved here. Nothing major, but little things like the ancient ice machine taint the 'newly remodeled' image. The rooms are comfortable and the beds were too, though there are no extra blankets or pillow in the rooms. Yes, you could likely call the front desk for one, but if you have gotten cold in the middle of the night, like often happens, you do not want to call the front desk. The employees were all very friendly. The free wi-fi was decent as well even though the hotel was full. The free breakfast was pretty standard fare as free breakfasts go, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, waffle maker, etc. All tasted good and was quickly restocked as things ran out. Free coffee 24/7 in the lobby is always a nice touch too. They are set back from the road and this sign by the road is a bit blocked by a tree. So keep an eye out as you could miss the entrance easily like I did. :-)

Although the access was a bit hard to locate due to (I assume) construction, the hotel was clean, the staff was courteous and efficient and we very much enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good with multiple choices.

Charming hotel, clean and comfortable- the staff was focused on service, personable and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed and clean - the beds were comfortable and bathroom efficient with ample toiletries. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this Best Western for weary travelers driving north or south along I-5.

I discovered several years ago that the Best Western chain will give you a government rate if you are prior military. I usually save some money buy utilizing this better rate so give this strategy a try. Another tip: get the Best Western credit card and follow the incentives if they are offered. I did, and got 50,000 points. Very useful for free rooms. When you receive emails from Best Western there is usally a promotion that will also offer more free rooms or discounts that reduce the cost of travel. I prefer the Best Western Plus brand because they are more upscale. Not quite the Marriott but the price is right and I'm usually upgraded to a suite because of my Diamond status. My wife and I wound up our 11-day road-trip to visit the Pacific NW with a stay at this hotel. We drove to SeaTac the following morning to fly back home to Houston. The hotel was nice but access from the freeway was a little awkward. We ate dinner at a nearby Pizza restaurant (Gilliano's?) that was very good.

The carpet needs to be replaced in the rooms. The rooms smells dirty and musty. The equipment in the fitness room was broken. The employees were not helpful . No one was ever at the front desk. You have to ring a bell which is ridiculous to have to ring day or night, which I had to. The place looks cute with its new face lift but not worth staying. All of the employees were disappointing.

The first room that we were given was in total disarray and looked like it had been tossed. I went back to the desk and the clerk looked at me like I was the problem. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Best Western ever.

I arrived after midnight and very tired. Walked into a nice clean lobby. Greeted by a happy front desk, fresh coffee and cookies. Room was clean, bedding crisp and bathroom sparkled. Room was also well stocked with amenities. Forgot a toiletry, the front desk had one available. Breakfast was delicious each day with many choices.

We chose this hotel for a quick stop on our way to Mt Rainier after flying all day and landing in Portland. A little difficult to locate, but I had read one of the previous reviews stating such. Just know it's behind an industrial area and hard to see due to trees. Our room was clean, a nice size, with comfortable beds and we didn't hear a sound all night. The shower had excellent water pressure and there were plenty of towels. Verizon Cell service was good in this area so we didn't use the Wi Fi. We agreed the provided breakfast was better than the breakfast the previous day in a much more expensive hotel. Safeway nearby opens early and has prepared sandwiches etc. for purchase if you're going to be hiking. We would stop here again.

The approach to this hotel is deceptively scary. Industrial. Once you get onto their fenced property it is welcoming and nice. Reasonably priced and close to Mt. St. Helens (about two hours north and 1 hour south: this is as good as you are going to do here) the rooms are comfortable and big enough for two. A family might want to consider a suite. Very suitable for business or leisure travel. One suggestion: improve the fitness room. Maybe add some free waits or some additional exercise options. Near decent not great dining options. A supermarket is across the thruway. Complimentary breakfast. Like most hotels in this area they allow dogs.

I reserved a room for two nights. bed was hard, kids running up and down hallway, and stomping. The room was clean. The tub was nice. After the terrible first night we decided to go to another hotel. I called the desk and asked about me leaving a day early, she was very nice and understanding. So we packed our stuff then went to check out. And a very rude lady said we couldn't leave without paying for 2 nights 500$ something dollars. I told her I did talk with someone in the am and said it was fine. She didnt believe me, was unapologetic about noise and other issues. I was so unsatisfied I was about to pay the 500 plus dollars just to get out of that place. Then when I came back after packing the car she was on the phone with the person who said I could only pay one night. After she got off the phone and said she did say it is ok. Didn't apologize just handed me my paper and said you can take that with you. I am glad that I didn't have to pay the 500 somethingdollar bill. I'll never go to this location again. Me and my husband got married in july and we cant afford a huge vacation for a honeymoon so we thought we would just getaway for a couple nights. We wasted our first night here and I regret it. Wish I could get my money back. Or get a complimentary night at a better best western. Dont waste your time or money going here

If you don't want to listen to doors slamming all night, stay somewhere else. Price is high for the need of update. Sheets had holes in them and bathroom paint was curling off the wall. Dogs allowed in breakfast area and jumping on us. Bed was ok and good pillows.

This is a hotel in a quiet area where you feel safe but are close to restaurants and other essential services. Breakfast was served, exercise equipment is available, free internet, nice size clean room which includes a sofa. Very pleasant staff.

Room had water in carpet outside bathroom upon arrival. Slipped on bathroom floor which was filled with water after turn shower on for two minutes. Bed was sloped and housekeeping left open/used soap and opened toiletries by sink. Manager when told was in accommodating

The location works well for us. Easy to hop on and off freeway. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, but could use updating. The hallways are too dark, but need extra lighting.Price very reasonable.

We came down to the area for a softball tournament. A bit more expensive than the other hotel but much better reviews. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was basic with eggs, sausage, and country hash browns. Food was decent and staff was friendly.

The room was fabulous. They upgraded us to a Suite (we are a Rewards Gold member) and we didn't even know it Jacuzzi in the room. Check in and check out staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend staying at this Best Western.

Room was excellent as was the breakfast. Comfortable and reliable wi-fi. A restaurant was recommended by one of the staff and it was an excellent choice. The fitness center had all the same choices that I have at home. So this meant not missing a day of my workout.

Was pleasantly surprised with the total stay. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. We booked the spa tub room as I and wife have back problems......it just put this property over the top. Simple good "free" breakfast, area was clean and we'll stocked.

They don't give reward points if you direct bill to your employer. Other than that I needed a place to stay and they were close and I'm a fan of BW. But I don't use hotel animities, pool, gym, other things. I look for a clean comfortable place to sleep and it fit the bill and close to my destination for work the next day.

It was a little hard to find. Its tucked behind other business's & the ride through their parking lots was full of potholes. Had to ring bell to get service(Lobby was empty). Gave us our keys went to get in room tried both keys several times. went back to front desk... had to ring bell. She gave us another set . this time they worked. However there was somebody already in room. Went back to desk rang ....rang bell. This time we got a unoccupied room. A liitle later we had problem with our remote, Went to desk again & ....rang bell. She said that the instructions are wrong & told us what to do & if that didn't work WE needed to unplug. And if that didn't work then she would see what she could do. The next morning checked out & about an hour into our day I discovered that I did not have my purse. I called the Hotel & Jessica answered & I explained. She went to the room asked where I had left it. And it was there!! I was very appreciative & told her we were on our way back. When we got there I thanked her again & went back to the car. When I checked my wallet....all my cash was gone. At first I wasn't going to go back because I knew I wasn't going to get it back. But I decided to go back. I approached Jessica & she asked me what was up. I told her that my cash was gone. She said maybe I had put it in a different spot. That was not the case. She said that house keeping had not been in the room & that she had been the only one in there & that she had brought it to the front desk & it had not left her sight....... I asked if she was the Manager she said yes. So I said I was disappointed & left thinking how convenient.

This is the best hotel that our family have stayed at in the last year. The nicest staff and breakfast had a variety of food and we loved the waffle maker. The pool was wonderful and not freezing cold like other hotels. And we enjoyed the hot tub after our day of hiking. We had the double queen suite with the fold out couch and the room was very spacious. We highly recommend this hotel. Close to a Safeway and restaurants. Easy to find just off the highway.

Dark rainy night made finding the hotel after finding the sign difficult. Appeared to be an industrial area, instead of a hotel entrance. Really, I need to keep typing to get to the minimum number of characters?

Pool and hot tub here is amazing. If you have to stay in Woodland, you don't have many choices. The hotel overall is okay, but not the normal quality Best Western - we stay here for the pool only. Room had noisy heater, non functioning bath fan, ants, a spider, a rude staff person and non effective manager who backed the rude staff manager. The rest of the staff and cleaners were all friendly and efficient.

Pleasantly surprised with the Best Western tucked away in Woodland. I usually pick another higher end chain when I travel. Stayed to attend a concert at the Ilani Casino 5 minutes away. Staff, room, pool and breakfast were all great. I'll stay again.

The hotel is located at the Woodland I-5 "crossroads" area, which is a very vehicle congested place. But the hotel is set back from the freeway, which is good, if a little hard to find. However, every time I drove in our out there was some kind of truck or another blocking the driveway. It was possible to get by them, but a tight fit, rather off-putting. I prefer hotels in walkable locations. I did walk to some nearby restaurants and bars which were actually pretty good, but it is not a pleasant walk as you must follow along the freeway frontage road for a while. A walk to downtown Woodland, while not that long, would be very unpleasant, as you'd have to get through the crazy freeway intersection. The hotel itself was fine. The check-in staff did not want to process my gift card, said wait till check-out, which is the opposite of my experience at other BWs, but the staff on duty in the evening did process it and seemed to indicate the earlier staff might have been new or unfamiliar with the system. All staff were pleasant. All in all, probably would stay again if the price was right.

We've stayed here before and had a great experience. This time however, our room was not cleaned after our first night stay and the staff didn't really try to make that right when we told them about it. They tried to make it our fault and really wouldn't apologize or make it right in any way. We felt like we were a bother. This Best Western is a nice one overall but staff had an attitude.

After a long day we decided that with 5 more hours of driving ahead of us, and after a full day of with and having driven 5 hours after that... We needed to sleep. This little gem popped up on Google maps. We took a chance. Yep this place is in a funky out of the way stop. Yep, the first floor smelled like a wet dog. Yep it wasn't perfect. It was a Good Western, not the Best Western. I don't think the room had been vacuumed. There was, we think and hope, ketchup on the wall and ceiling in our room. The door had scratches on it like someone was trying to scratch there way out and the bathroom door wouldn't close. In spite of all of this I would stay there again. Yuki at the front was a sweetheart! Breakfast was pretty decent. The lobby area was clean. Plenty of parking and we felt safe. Definitely worth the price. Need a place to stay and this place is an option? Go, stay, sleep, enjoy. I'm super picky about the places I stay, you'll do fine here!

My husband stays at your hotel a lot! We like it.. it's great for him to park the truck and a great place for dog.,. BUT pretty much every morning when he goes to leave the coffee is not ready.. always either out completely or he just gets barely any.. also breakfast is supposed to start at 6am.. it is not! This morning there were other people waiting and the breakfast wasn't even starting to be put out by 6:15 and then wasn't completely out until at least 6:30! Just not acceptable! For a Best Western I would expect more.. We are writing this review after being in this position many times. It takes a lot to complain from us.. but it is just very annoying.. Just another thing too .. if you have coffee pots in the lobby , why wouldn't you have hot coffee in your pots at all times?? Especially in the early morning ..

The room was nicely decorated and everything was super clean. The bed was comfy, the heater/AC was quiet and worked well, and the Jacuzzi tub was amazing! The lobby was beautifully decorated and the staff was welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to anyone planning to stay.

This is a neat, clean and modern Best Western Hotel. From I-5 and from Atlantic Avenue, about all you can see it the sign. But upon driving past the sign into the parking lot, the attractive hotel structure appears. It is a tasteful and well-built building, inside and out. The rooms are modern, well-furnished, and well-maintained. The service is courteous and helpful. This Best Western is especially noteworthy because has a nice indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a sumptuous hot breakfast (complete with eggs, sausage/bacon, and potatoes). These can be very welcome features on a cold, rainy day!

While the hotel was recently remodeled, and the room was nice enough, we just couldn't get any sleep, because the bed was so uncomfortable. We were in the area, to visit family, and had been on the go, since 5am. We were only staying over, for the one night, but had planned to have breakfast, then relax in the hot tub, and swim for a bit, before heading home. Although we were in bed by about 10pm, by 2am, I really just wanted to pack up and go home. I was in tears, because I was so tired, but I couldn't get comfortable. I would occasionally fall asleep for 15 or 20 minutes, but that was about it. My husband was also extremely uncomfortable, but was concerned that if he didn't continue trying to sleep, that it wouldn't be safe to drive. At 6am, we did have breakfast, which we enjoyed, then immediately left for home.We may have gotten a total of about two hours of sleep. Since sleeping is the entire purpose of having a hotel room, nothing else matters much. We never did get to enjoy the pool and hot tub, since getting home to get some sleep, became our priority.

We visited Halloween night and from the time we arrived Codie made our visit special. She made sure we had everything we needed and was warm and welcoming. Beyond appreciative of her professionalism. We loved our stay.

this hotel is the place to stay in this small town of Woodland.The room needed a bit of love and care in the bathroom but overall it was great.(i don't believe that i need to go 200 characters for a review, it should be whatever we want...)

The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and fast. The beds we're extremely comfortable and our room was clean and tidy. The pool was clean and warm and the hot tub temperature was perfect. Everything was great, although the breakfast could be better. It's in the lobby and would be better in a bigger room with more seating.

We stopped here to be close the new casino and were very pleased with this location. Fantastic rooms - I loved the design of ours, room 216. There was a little wall that separated the bed space from the couch and living area. This really added to the value as it felt more like a little home away from home style suite. Thank you soo much Best Western for a wonderful rest, great rate, and Welcome! Highly recommended for the area or rest stop.

My Famous Hotel when I come to the area Staff and check in and out times are great Breakfast was also great rooms are clean and bed is comfy. If you smoke great smoking area ..Just a great locationHotel Caters to your needs ....

For some reason when we arrived they gave us this room on the first floor, which I was excited about not having to take an elevator. However, it was a handicap room and the shower was less than ideal. I suppose if you really needed it that would be different. The shower was really flat and you had to watch so that the water would not go out that much (which explains why the carpet to the bathroom was damp. Also, we didn't think adjusting the temperature to the air-conditioner did anything. The room was stuffy all night. Breakfast was nothing special; in fact, they only had dark roast coffee.

Good spot conveniently located for easy access to Hwy 5. Has all the ammenities for a short stay - fitness room ( small) and pool. Very pleassnt and professional reception and check in. Room was clean with small bar fridge. Complimentary breakfast included. Nothing fancy but a bit of everything for all tastes. Clean and comfortable facility. Just what we needed after long ray of driving. Reasonable rates

we stay here if possible when in the Woodland , Ca. area , usually pretty full as it butts up to Hwy 5 & 113 . Breakfast could be better , but there is enough. It good centrally located , but if you don't know the area a bit confusing to get to , also the restaurant located on same property is closed , so you need to drive to someplace to eat.

The service was excellent. Had a little trouble with key cards, but the front desk staff were eager to let you into your room when you needed to. Other than that, the rooms were spacious and very quiet. Breakfast was also available in the lobby, with plenty of good food and variety. Enjoyed our stay here, will definitely come back.

This is a standard hotel. Rooms were clean and no frills. Room A/C was not on when we arrived, so we had to cool it down from 79. Hotel elevator was musty and smelled foul. And the room that we were originally supposed to use was occupied, but we got another identical room. There's no need to go back unless I have to be in the area, but it served basic needs.

I made a mistake while booking one night at this hotel. The booking was Saturday night, when we needed a room the Thursday night prior. When arriving, we discovered the mistake. The person working the desk let us know our booking was for another night. There was no vacancy, so the hotel was not able to change our reservation. At the night manager's recommendation, we made a reservation at another (nicer) hotel up the road for the same price. The night manager stated if we call Orbitz, they would still be able to refund the amount, even though the trip insurance was not purchased. They explained that Orbitz would simply call the manager at the BW desk during business hours and that it was routine to approve a refund, since they are typically very full. When I called Orbitz on Friday morning, Orbitz support performed exactly as described by the BW night manager. Surprisingly, the General Manager refused to refund the payment, and Orbitz could not refund. I called the GM of BW to explain the situation, that I would not be in need of a room on Sunday and had to book elsewhere due to no vacancy at BW on the night in need. After 5min of discussion, the BW GM refused to refund the night and the reservation remained. I am out the hotel cost, and have now discovered a much nicer hotel 5min away, for the same price. I will not be staying with BW again. I was a platinum member

The room was great, no problems. The view was not the beat but the breakfast was very good, large selection of entrees . Had coffee in the room as well. Check out was very easy as well. The parking was convenient

We stayed here for 2 nights, before and after hiking up to Mount St Helens crater rim. First, boy are we so glad we opted to stay here (vs in Cougar), and drive the extra distance to trailhead! Although appears on map to be on frontage road, it is set well back from I-5. The rooms are beautifully spacious, and sound proofing is excellent. Everything was clean, and staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast is standard, BW fare; the eating area clean, the hot items very edible. Lobby couch area is attractive. We were well rested before an early morning start on our hike. Room fan/AC worked well, and not too noisy. Did not use the pool, but it looked clean and nice for an indoor pool. Overall, was nicer than some BW-'Plus' hotels I've stayed in. Would highly recommend if needing to stop in this area, or exploring the southwest side of Mt St H.

Average hotel, but seemed a bit expensive for the location/time. Havd TV troubles that they couldn't fix Golod location close to the expressway. Breakfast area was too small and we had to wait to find a seat. Breakfast was average

The lobby of this older Best Western property is very nice and upon check in, the girl at the front desk was friendly. The A/C in our room was quiet and efficient. Unfortunately, that's about all I can say on the plus side. The first thing we noticed when we entered our room was that the back window was wide open (more on this later). After a long day of hiking, the first thing we do after check in, is take a shower to wash off the bug spray and whatever else we've picked up along the trail. Don't want to sleep in the chemicals, sweat and Mother Nature we've encountered/produced over the course of the day's adventures. After showering, I turned down the bed covers. The pillow cases on all four pillows were all tucked in (as seems to be the custom these days) but appeared to be a bit rumpled. Then I noticed a black smudge on one, then another of the pillow cases. My wife said it looked like mascara. Next I found a very small but distinctive burn hole in the bottom sheet. I subsequently discovered an identical burn hole in the mattress cover that was immediately under the first hole. Clearly, the linens had not been changed from a previous guest. I went to the front desk and told the young lady what I'd found and asked for and received a change of linens. I give her credit for not arguing or attempting a defense. Her response was “I am so sorry!”. When I asked for a set of clean linens, her response was “Of Course!”. Right answers! Since I volunteered upfront to change them myself, I'll allow that she didn't offer. As we were packing up to leave the next morning, my wife glanced up at the smoke detector on the ceiling above the bed and discovered a plastic bag had been placed around it, no doubt to conceal/block the smoke from a =previous guest's cigarettes. Now the open window made more sense. The room (115) was spacious and nicely furnished except for a couple of rather large stains on the carpet. We clearly heard conversations next door and in the hallway and due to the close proximity to the front desk and breakfast area, heard all the clatter from there. Over the course of a couple of weeks, we stayed at six Best Western properties with no noise issues so a I assume this is due to the construction of this particular property. Breakfast was also a bust. When we walked in at about 6:15 (they begin serving at 6) there were no breakfast plates. Those who were already eating were using the small pastry plates. I rang the bell at the front desk to get the attention of someone who could provide them. As the lady (who it appeared was in charge of the front desk AND the breakfast area) was looking for the plates, we discovered there were also no forks or spoons. After she supplied the plates and utensils and left (of course), I went to the juice dispenser but there were no cups. I used a cup intended for waffle batter for the waffle maker but the orange juice was diluted and tasteless. There was barely enough scrambled eggs in the tray for one small serving. There was a guy standing behind me observing the same thing. I passed on the eggs and told him to go for it. I settled for a couple of sausage links and a pastry. As luck would have it, most of the 6 or 7 tables in the breakfast area had only one person sitting at them. Since there were no empty tables, we settled onto a couple of chairs in the lobby. My wife noted that I didn't have coffee. I'm a coffee guy. Got to have it. Too bad. The “regular” coffee carafe was empty. Ok. I'll settle for decaf. Nope. Lukewarm. Took two sips and dumped the rest. There's are two Starbucks less than a mile down the road. By this time I almost felt like we were pestering the girl when I told her the “regular” carafe was empty. Finally, the garbage cans in the dining area and at the coffee stand were filthy. The exteriors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in....ever. Disgusting. If something so glaring and basic as cleaning the area where you're serving food to your customers is left unchecked, one has to wonder about hygiene during food preparation. They've got serious problems at this hotel. Given everything else, one has to believe that not changing the bed linens from a previous guest isn't an anomaly. I suspect it happens routinely. It would be difficult if not impossible to convince me otherwise. They just got caught this time. All of the staff that we spoke to were courteous and responded quickly to the things we brought to their attention. When we pointed out the smoke detector to the young lady at the front desk the next morning, she politely removed a portion of the room cost from our bill without our asking. That said, many of the issues we encountered could be forgiven. Not changing the linens from a previous guest cannot. We won't be staying here again.

We are fans of Best Western and given a choice that is where we will say. We were given a suite. We had 2 queen beds and a nice sitting area. The room was very large and very clean. The front desk staff were very nice and professional. The breakfast was the usual Best Western fare. We are always happy with the Best Western breakfasts. Very happy with this hotel.

Room was large and nicely cleaned. Bed was frim and linens were nice and crisp. Having a microwave in the room was a nice feature to reheat foods. Pool is indoors and well maintained. They did seem to skimp on the bathroom toiletries (very small shampoo & conditioner bottles). Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. Breakfast was typical motel self serve items. Coffee was good.

Hotel is not easy to find. When you turn in at the big sign you wonder if you're in the wrong place. The first thing you see is another business (which appears to be defunct). After a minute of wandering around, we found the BW at the back of the lot, with a tiny sign. Hotel is clean and quiet. Halls very dark but the room was fine. We had a big, comfortable room with a good bed. Breakfast was decent. Nothing luxurious in this place except the towels.

The Woodland Inn, BEST WESTERN, is near the freeway (I-5) but tucked in off a business access road so it is not noisy. Very near to WA. State's newest Indian Gaming Casino (Ilani) off of I-5. You'll get a good breakfast buffet before you go try your luck from a very friendly staff. Freeway access is good also. ENJOY!

This hotel was clean, but there is nothing else around, not a great area to stay. It claims to be remodeled, it was still dark and dreary. We we're initially given keys to a room that was already occupied!! Thank goodness those people were not there at the time! It took them about 15 minutes to get it straightened out and give us another room. Breakfast was meh, not enough seating and the seating they did have butted up against the buffet line. They use powered eggs instead of real eggs and they only had soy milk and lactose free yogurt, not regular. I would not recommend this Best Western at all!

This Best Western was located in a great location. Easy Access to the freeway, close to restaurants, stores, and fuel stations. The hotel was clean and comfortable and would stay there again. There were two things that made our stay uncomfortable. It took a few minutes for the hot water to get hot and the alarm clock in the room didn't work.

Stayed here 1 night before going to Seattle. We went to the casino near by and had alot of fun. The stay was great and near to casino, food and the freeway. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.

We have stayed at Woodland Bar Western and have always recommended it friends who are travelling. It is far back from the main highway so is quiet. Comfortable beds and awesome breakfast., The rooms are large and attractive. From the location, it is easy to get back on the highway to head home., any direction.Considering quality, the rates are very reasonable.

The two women who checked us in seemed honestly concerned that we have a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was full the night that we were there, but it wasn't too noisy - we did hear the train whistle multiple times during the night, though. We appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room.

This hotel was clean, and extremely comfortable. The king sized bed was my favorite bed I slept on in our two and a half week road trip. The staff were friendly and courteous. The staff seemed genuinely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location was extremely convenient, yet you didn't hear the highway noise when in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice place to stay while travelling on business. Hotel staff provided exceptional service. My room was average in comforts but very quiet which enabled me to have a good night's sleep. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

The location is ok, far enough from the freeway that you don't hear it. Lots of good restaurants across the freeway. Rooms clean and comfortable. BUT it stinks of dog, in the hallway and the elevator. The elevator stunk so bad that we couldn't use it. It smelled like dog poop and old wet dog. Luckily we didn't hear the barking in our room, but everytime we went in the hallway you could here them barking. No one but multiple dogs, big dogs not poodles . We slept well and breakfast was good but the dog stink really put us off. This is a BW not a motel 6. Very dissatisfied.

Completely acceptable and friendly place to spend the night. Staff is very professional and concerned about satisfaction. Location is a little tricky to find but very handy to the interstate. Quiet and well maintained

This hotel is a couple of miles north of the main exit for Woodland (Costco, mall shopping, other hotels) but is well maintained and managed. Being a older style motel the rooms are a little smaller but have been nicely updated. The inside courtyard has a pool and hot tub.

Check in was easy and with friendly staff. Lobby is very attractive leading off to breakfast area as well as a sitting area in front of gas fireplace. Two queen size beds, renovated room, quiet and restful. Breakfast was very good, fresh scrambled eggs and variety of breads, waffles and cereals. Missed out on internet offer so had to pay about $20 more with walk-in (check internet offers thru booking.com or similar or best prices same day) If you are given room on second floor and need elevator (for heavy bags or a disability) try getting room assigned towards the elevator which is at one end of the hotel, otherwise it is a long walk from the elevator end of hall towards other end. Really good restful stop in a well appointed and decorated Best Western. Very close proximity to the I-5 for those travelling and no noise affecting room.

The BW Woodland Inn is a nice choice in this part of Washington state. We stayed there because it was close to the new Ilani Casino, just 4 miles south. It was a bit difficult to find at first, but the access to the I-5 freeway was easy both north and south. I like the simplicity of staying at Best Western hotels. Booking on line is easy. I booked a 2nd room for friends traveling with us, and they were able to pay with their credit card and earn their own rewards points. I appreciate that service.

I have stayed here many times and have always been pleased The rooms are clean and neat. The staff are always friendly and helpful!!!!! The driveway is a little hard to find at first because the Best Western has a long driveway and is hard to see from the road but once you are there it is well worth the short ride down the driveway. I have stayed here many times and happily will continue to do so

There was sperm stains on the bed. Cryptic message on the mirror when the stem was there( I know what you did last summer). Wholes in the shower curtain. No water pressure. Very dirty room. Crap on the toilet.

Checking in and out was annoying both front desk clerks were rude. The food at the breakfast was undercooked, you have to cook some of your own food. it's a bed and breakfast not a bed and make your own breakfast. The heater song every time we turned it on. The ice machine was broken and when we got some from the front desk it was an unsatisfactory amount.

good location near restaurants, shopping center and entertainment. need an option between Seattle and Portland it's a good choice. friendly staff and clean rooms. Only suggestion would be to offer more fresh fruit and food options to breakfast menu.

The whole check in process was so Easy, the room was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. The Hot Tub in the bedroom was amazing as well it was nice to come to a room late at night and just sit in the hot tub and relax.

We had a great stay. The building was clean and the staff very friendly. I enjoy staying at this Bestwestern due to the location of family but it is a nice away from home spot. Everything is in good working order.

Decided on a two night out for a long weekend then realized after arrival my days were mixed up so could only stay one night. Will definitely try this place again though. It was very clean and the staff were good. The night clerk even had to come up and set the TV for us so it would work. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend this if your in the are traveling on I-5 and need a break. It is off of the road, you have to drive through two commercial buildings to get to it but that makes it better.

This hotel was close enough to Ilani (casino) to be very convenient. I believe it was the best option for price and location. Nice clean, comfortable cozy hotel. If i was to come out to the casino, i will most definitely be staying at Best Western again.

You never know for sure what you're getting when you book a hotel room via the internet, especially when it's in small unfamiliar town. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and comfortable and looked recently updated (just guessing). The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was much more than we expected. If the need arises I know where to stay in Woodland!

Nice clean property, clean rooms, very nice lobby / breakfast area. Comfortable beds, vending, quiet location and 1 minute from the interstate. Friendly staff, who gave us a great tip on sightseeing. Hot breakfast, nothing too fancy, but enough to get you going in the morning. Fresh baked cookies in the evening. The best deal of the 3 hotels we considered. Overall, very pleased with this hotel.

Overall rating is Average to very good The Breakfast was good we had to wait for our rooms however we were early they were nice enough to have them ready very quickly. The bed sleep okay. It sounded as though there was water dripping throughout the walls from the upstairs bathroom could have just beem the pipes. Overall it was annice stay.

We arrived late and our room was held despite the hotel being unable to contact us via mobile about credit card verification. They checked that the dialling code was outside the US and rightly presumed that we had a network problem. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Cleanliness and sleep quality good with a decent breakfast.

Thank you for accommodating all of us at the last minute: as we all arrived at different times. GREATLY appreciated. We were all attending a wedding in the area and had not expected that there would be 5 days of pouring rain even on the day of the outside wedding!

It looks like Best Western has purchased a local independent hotel and bring it up to their standards, but the "bones" of this building was build cheap. Room had a musty smell to it, and the interior noise of the room from the hallway was very loud.

Older renovated motel tucked away in an area that you wouldn't think a motel would be. Hard to find off the beaten path with a small sign. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

Two nights here while competing at the Clark County Fairgrounds. I was traveling with a pet. My room was a "pet friendly room". The room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Wi-if worked very well. No pet odor from possible previous pets. Breakfast was basic but hot and area was well kept. Excellent grassy area for walking pets. Will definitely stay here again.

Decided to get away for the day, we have stayed here before and enjoyed our time. Great place to stay, good price, employees are pleasant, room is very nice. Will stay again when we went to get away for the day. We find this hotel a good place to stop when we are heading into or out of Seattle!!!

Would definitely stay here again. Very reasonable and great location for Mt St Helens fabulous trip. Also went to the gorge,but most attractions closed due to previous weeks of fires in the area. Still a very beautiful drive on highway 14 on the Washington side of the Hood River.

Based on other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this room. Handicapped room had unusually large bath counter space which I appreciated. Most hotels barely have room for one woman to put her stuff. Also appreciated a normal shower head and not something so complicated that you couldn't figure it out. Decor was nice although paintings on wall looked tired and out of date. Well kept grounds and appearance was a surprise after difficulty in finding the way back behind a large commercial building. Far enough from freeway that we didn't hear any noise. Easier to access if coming from the south, but we managed to find it using navigator coming from the north. The hotel was full but we never heard anyone. Breakfast was more than adequate with waffle machine easy to use. Orange juice tasted better than many hotels. Even the generic in room coffee was good.

We found the room to be nicely appointed. Had all the amenities plus a microwave and refrigerator. ONE NOTE: The microwave does not work when plugged into the top plug in ROOM 111. I had to unplug the fridge and use that plug for the microwave. The beds were clean and comfortable. It does set back off the road so it is quiet.

Outstanding Motel. I was impressed the way smokers are treated with the smoking area outside and under a covered area. Very clean and neat. My wife and I will stay at Best Western in the future. Keep up the great work. The staff kept freash coffee in the lobby all night.

Our stay was enjoyable. The location worked well for our family getting together for a wedding. Not having visited Woodland before we found the location a bit odd and yet far enough back from I-5 to minimize highway noise. Overall it was just right in terms of price and convenience.

The rooms were fine, and the beds were comfortable, so would stay here again. Regardless of the big sign along the road, you don't see the hotel building hidden behind a fence, and another building. And, you can't access it from the businesses behind the hotel, only from the front entrance. Not really much around the front side of it. The elevator is at the far end of the hallway away from the lobby, unless we missed another elevator. There is a door at that end, but may be best to park near the elevator if you have a lot of unloading to do.

This hotel is hard to find from the road being set back but the up side is the quiet location. Superb breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet location all made for a great relaxing stay. Also it is close to the freeway entrance/exit.

The room fridge still had the last guest stuff was in the room (it made wonder if they cleaned at all) that is just gross. The stuff was very unpleasant when simply asking them to do their job, like replace a key that won't work.

We were just here for 1 night as we are traveling around. The staff were friendly, rooms were nice, quite large and clean. All our rooms had fridge, microwave and hairdryer. Water pressure and temperature was good and the bed was very comfortable.

Great value and super friendly staff. Odd entrance, but once you get there it's really great! Everyone was super helpful. Rooms are really clean with a fridge & microwave. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Only 4.5 miles from the new Casino. No shuttle, so we just took a Lyft. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on a trip to Oregon. Room was alright with a good sized washroom and two double beds. Decently clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Checkin and Checkout where quick and uneventful. Did not have time to sample the breakfast but it seemed to have all the usual food choices for a hotel of this type.

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel is great. The breakfast is ok and overall a reliable clean and comforatble place to stay. The Gym gear is consistently poor and nearly always a disaapointment, but over all a good safe bet

The only complaint I have is the placement of elevator. It is at one end of the hotel. It should be centrally located. People like myself who have difficulty with walking find it difficult to walk from one end of the second floor to other end of second floor. Especially when carrying luggage!!!

Enjoyed our stay. We come often to visit family and this location is close and the staff friendly. The bed was a little uncomfortable but the overall comfort of The room was good. We will stay again on our next trip.

Young man at check-in was very helpful and genuine, he went out of his way to fetch a luggage cart. (1 wheel was coming apart but certainly wasn't his fault I'm sure he didn't realize, we still managed) Breakfast was as expected. Best Western deco seems to be dark, I'm not sure way.(paint, carpets, lighting)

This is our second stay at this facility. It is well maintained. The accommodations were clean. The bed and room were comfortable. Although near the highway, the room was quiet. The location is easy to get to from the interstate highway. Shopping and fast food restaurants are close by. We will stay again.

We stayed here the night prior to summiting Mt. St. Helens. It was a very relaxing place in civilization where we were able to rest before hiking Mt. St. Helens. I highly recommend doing this over the local closer hotel. We used the hot tub that night, which added to the relaxing.

Great price, comfortable beds, nice size room, clean, good breakfast, courteous staff with easy check in and out, soft towels and linens. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to family and friends.

We saw a nice indoor pool and sauna, but we arrived late, so we didn't have time to use it. The beds are comfortable and clean. We were able to use multiple devices with the internet, which is great. For the price, I would stay here over Motel 6 or Rodeway Inn. They have good hot breakfast also.

It was a prefect place to stay after going to the ape caves . We were tired and after dinner we went swimming . It was so relaxing We fell a sleep right away. We woke up fresh continue our trip to see the other side of Mt Saint Helen .We were very excited.

When I have absolutely no complaints about a Best Western, I give it 5 stars. This one was a very nice inn. Although it wasn't a new property, it had undergone renovations at one time to update the lobby area and rooms. The bed was nice and comfy. We enjoyed using the indoor hot tub, although the pool was a little chilly for us. It was conveniently located near the interstate. My overall impression of the place was quite favorable.

My mom picked the BW in Woodland, WA. We were in Woodland for a family wedding. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel; very nice place, great room, exceptional people and, a big deal to me, the breakfast was way beyond what I expected. The room was good sized and very clean. The location was quiet and the hotel looked brand new. The only issue was finding it, the hotel sets back from the street, behind some commercial buildings. Good news: zero business noise or traffic.

Stayed here on our way to the coast. Great location close to restaurants, things to do, and the highway! The breakfast was very good with lots of options. A great value there was 6 of us and we got a suite with two beds and a pull out couch and all was very comfy!

My stay was not very pleasant because the General Manager was not helpful and in fact she 'scolded ' me when I complained. Basically we were not allowed to sit in the breakfast room /lobby early in the morning because it was hard for the morning clerk who did not have a name tag. We also found a bandaid and dirty kleenex in the ice bucket. The General Manager did not seem like she thought that was a big deal. Phone calls did not get put through to the room. Some of the staff was very helpful but the General Manager set a bad tone.

We enjoyed the hotel staff who put up with my husband's bad jokes. They helped us find a late night place to eat in a very small town. We had our dog, who loved the place and the attention he received too.

Our room at Best Western Woodland was spacious and very comfortable. The location was convenient, near the interstate, but the room was quiet and we slept well. Staff at the desk offered helpful suggestions for diner that were nearby.

The property appeared fairly new and was very clean and comfortable. It was not in a pretty location, but it was convenient for what we needed and I felt safe walking to a nearby restaurant. The cost was reasonable and the staff was available when needed to answer a question.

Overall, this was a decent place to stay. There was not really anything special that stood out about this hotel. We did discover urine stains on a mattress pad when we had to change sheets during the night due to our daughter getting ill. Other than that, the room was clean and the stay was fine.

Staying in a Jacuzzi King Suite at Best Western at Woodland, WA. in June of 2017 was the best hotel experience we had on our vacation with a quick and accurate check in with ANDY. We paid more money for rooms at other hotels and got much less. The jacuzzi King Suite was everything it should be, extremely clean, well maintained, comfortable and enjoyable. The jacuzzi itself was perfect in every way. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the TV worked well and the remote cleaned and disinfected. The breakfast was very good with hot scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, 3 cereals, muffins, yogurt, juices, mini waffles and regular waffles, fresh fruit, bagels, a variety of breads, a variety of instant oatmeal and pastries. Check out went as quickly as check in and there were restaurants for dinner and breakfast within a few miles. We recommend the Jacuzzi King Suite. On the way back we stayed here in a regular room and nothing was a good...the toilet ran, the breakfast was not as good and the room was not as clean. However it was still better than most other places.

Clean hotel, comfortable, super friendly and helpful staff, easy to find off freeway and great continental breakfast. We were very happy with the hotel staff and accommodations. We had some trouble making changes to our reservations with the 1-800 number staff, so if you need to do that call the hotel directly, they were much more helpful.

This is your average budget no frills hotel. Just my wife, we stayed 3 days while visiting relatives in the area. Cons: No fan or heat in the bathroom, paper cups for the single serve coffee pot, toilets are low to the ground and great if your 8 years old but if you're a senior citizen....well enough said. Check in was a bit testy, only one elevator that's located to the right at the far end of the bldg and not by the lobby, which is in the middle of the building, so if you happen to get a room on the other far end to the left have fun dragging your luggage around. Only one ice machine, ground floor by the lobby. Pros: Room was clean, housekeeping went above and beyond granting our requests for early cleaning and leaving extra coffee packs. Breakfast was the usual fair of waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, cold cereal, etc, and it was pretty good. Served from 6 to 9 AM. Free WiFi and not too bad, cable TV had lots of channels. I'd stay here again, there's nothing any better in Woodland or Kalama.

Great place to stay and easy access to the new Ilani Casino. Great time and great place to stay! Front desk staff was super helpful and offered suggestions on ways to get to the casino so we didn't have to drive which was nice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable!

Spent night with 2 friends, who were pretty skeptical. I made the reservations and said this is where we are staying. we all had a great time and I think they will stay at Best Westerns from now on. The price is what attracted me and I have stayed at other Best Westerns. Love it and breakfasts

And for starting our morning out on a good note. If I could, I would rate this BW an eleven (11) on a scale of 1 to 10. The newness of the decor (the Lobby especially) uplifted my thought as I entered into the Inn. Was so grateful for the fridge in the room and for the offering of soy milk at breakfast (a really satisfying breakfast BTW). Very thoughtful. (Not to mention the whipped cream for the waffles!) Everything was clean and gave one a sense of "all is well." Thanks for a great stay. Hope to be back again one day.

It is always pleasant to find cookies set out when we arrive. That was the case here even though we checked in around 1500. Check in was slow as the agent on duty took a phone call (while we were standing in line). The result was we waited approximately 10 minutes for that call to conclude. I'd have appreciated the agent taking the caller's number and offering to return the call once he had completed assisting the folks who were in line to check in. We are Diamond Select with Best Western and received a room upgrade (without asking) to a king “suite” with whirlpool! So nice of them. The room was very large with plenty of landing spots for our luggage. The whirlpool was in the main room, separate from the bathroom, and worked perfectly with all jets functioning. Everything was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable so we had no complaints. Breakfast was decent and I liked the “Special Scramble” they offered with eggs, meat and potatoes. They also offered cheese and salsa as toppings. The OJ was disappointing though. This hotel is great value for the money.

We stayed for only one night, but will definitely stay here again. Updated decor and very comfortable rooms. Our room was very quiet! Comfortable bed, cute bathroom and plenty of fluffy towels! Great looking lobby and breakfast area. We didn't take advantage of the free full breakfast which was served from 6 to 10 on the weekend. Hotel was close to restaurants and grocery store.

Had a room facing freeway. Some car and train noise. Will ask for a room on backside of hotel. Service was great. Andy at front desk was very helpful with directions and at check in. Great breakfast with lots of choices.

Room was clean, clerk was nice at check in. Didn't tell us breakfast ended at 9 am, thought it ended st 10. Breakfast was good. System was down at check out, but we did receive emailed copy as promised. Hotel was a little off the beaten path, but service was good.

Great clean hotel just off the I5. Great breakfast options, and good workout room. Didn't try the pool as it was closed for maintenance. Great access for the lava ape caves at Mt. St Helen's, or if you are going to climb Mt. St. Helens.

Location has no restaurants within easy walk. Heater did not work. Kind of thin walled. Was neat and tidy. I probably will not stay here again and I have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and the room was ok. BUT NEEDS HEAT. They should have took a little $ off for that. Had to ask for points or gift for members not good.

The room was very comfortable as I've come to expect from Best Western. Since it is back off the freeway it is quiet with no freeway noise. I had issues with the internet and Justin didn't just give me a phone # with a good luck wish, he took the time to get it up and running. A very important issue since I had to send in my time sheet for the month. Thanks again Justin!

My wife and our two babies stayed at the Best Western in Woodland. The night we checked in I paid in advance for the room and the $250 cash deposit. While I was out fishing the manager contacted my wife and told her that noon was check out time. I previously told the front desk that I would be late getting back from my fishing trip. The manage was not aware of my deposit and asked my wife to leave the room with the babies and if she refused the manager would call the police and have her escorted out. When I returned to the Hotel my wife and babies were waiting for me in the lobby. Needless to say we did not enjoy our stay...

We stayed here for the night prior to our summit hike to Mt. St. Helens. It appeared to be a popular venue for that as there was couple other parties also there for the same purpose. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was nothing special but beds clean and comfortable. There was complimentary morning breakfast. The front desk was business-like but the staff was helpful in providing extra garbage bags that we had asked for. The lobby was bright and appeared to be updated, though the hallways seem a bit dated, and dark. Rest of the hotel amenities we didn't get much of a chance to use.

Traveling to this area was a dream. Then after being exhausted and coming back to my room, I found it as I left it! No clean linens.... I could go on about what my expectations were but truthfully when you pay for something & they telll you...The General Manager.. We'll comp you 10%..really ....I have family in the area & I recommend to all...Go elsewhere!

Online pet policy states a max weight of 80lbs. After we checked in, we were told (and made to sign) a form which stated max weight 40lbs! Fortunately, we only stayed one night. Also, there was a group of RR workers staying there who came and went for their shifts in the wee hours of the morning. We could hear every room door slam shut and their voices outside through our window. Point: thin walls

Our room was very nice. Clean with a comfortable bed. The value for money was good. The breakfast was good with lots of options. This would easily have been a 5-star review except that we found the front staff indifferent and unhelpful. Still, the property was nice enough that we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine – comfortable bed, clean room, etc. It would have been nice if during their big remodel of the place they would have done a better job at creating a comfortably sized breakfast room layout, but that's hardly anything to worry about. Employees really weren't that friendly the whole weekend (I stayed two nights), except for the gentleman checking me out, who actually inquired about my stay and questioned me further when I wasn't enthusiastic enough in my response. The problems didn't come until a few weeks after check out. I work at a different Best Western property, and had booked rooms for both my grandparents and myself. My grandma called me after she received her credit card bill and found the hotel charge was $250 too much. She had spoken with the manager, Jessica, who she said was rude and refused to take the fee off, so I called the hotel to get more information. Jessica told me three people went to the room and agreed it smelled heavily of smoke, then explained what is entailed in cleaning a room after somebody smokes in it. I told her I understood the fee because I work at a Best Western, but insisted it was a mistake, as my grandparents don't smoke. Never have. (Unless the hotel just revealed a huge family secret that my grandma chose to expose to me. I was also with them quite a bit throughout the weekend and would have noticed a smell). I asked if she had pictures and only then did she say she did. She had pictures of butts on the nightstand. I asked if she had pictures of the room number, but she didn't. As soon as she said there weren't pictures of the room number, she said that of course everybody says they didn't smoke, but just because I'm a BW employee she would reverse the fee. I thanked her and asked for a copy of the updated folio showing the refund emailed to me. She rudely laughed and said, “you know I can't do that” so I asked her to send it to my grandparents. I also asked if she would send the pictures–I was curious to check the time stamp or anything identifying in the picture that would suggest a mistaken room. She said she'd have to get them from the housekeeper who took them, but she'd send them. I called back four days later because we didn't get the pictures, and she told me she was still waiting for the housekeeper to send them. I called a 3rd time two days later and Jessica said the housekeeper accidentally deleted the pictures. Concerned over what appeared to be a shady employee (or multiple) taking advantage of an elderly couple, including an 88 year old man with obvious dementia, who is the one whose card was used to pay for the room, I emailed Best Western Customer Care, who I knew would also let the hotel know of my concerns. Instead of contacting me to try to assure me that their employees were honest and would never do such a thing, or perhaps that the whole thing was just a misunderstanding, all the hotel did was contact Best Western Customer Care to let them know that they refunded the smoking charge – which I had already mentioned in my email to Customer Care. While the bed was great and the cleanliness was fine, you can get that anywhere. A vulnerable elderly couple in their late 80s being randomly charged a smoking fee and then the proof “accidentally” getting deleted is not something you'll get anywhere. I was wanting to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt and wait to post a review until everything had been settled, but it appears everything is settled, with no more answers than I had before.

We were pleasantly surprised by what appears to be the newness of this property. It is tucked away and not readily apparent from the road. The property itself didn't not have the long in the tooth tired appearance. The room was quiet, the furnishings commensurate with BW but comfortable. We didn't partake of breakfast.

Property really not bad, but from initial check-in we felt almost unwelcome. Had our two dogs with us and there were lots of forms to complete, but they missed one thing that we found at another hotel in Everett - asking for our cell phone number in case we were out and they needed to reach us. If travelling with pets, try elsewhere.

Our hotel stay was pleasant, nicely appointed rooms, nicely presented lobby and breakfast room, indoor pool, all were very clean, beds were comfortable on the firm side, served eggs, sausage and home fries or waffles for breakfast, overall good stay.

We arrived here after a long day on the road, tired and without a reservation. It was a good choice. Our room was large, well appointed, clean, and quiet. We slept well. They offered a nice continental breakfast. We liked that there was a restaurant in the same parking lot where we had a nice home cooked type meal, and that it was right off the freeway.

The hotel is clean, well maintained, and modern. Room was very clean, nice furniture and comfortable couch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were amazing. I am rarely satisfied by hotel pillows, this was an exception. Staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was perfect. Fresh and well maintained. I hope to stay at this location again.

Good accommodations close to Portland but far enough away to enjoy the MUCH cheaper price. Good breakfast/comfortable beds. High-Speed internet was problematic and continuslly returned error messages. It was basically unusable. N0ot a real problem for a family vacation as I would rather the kids put away the electronics and enjoy family life but it would have been a big problem on a business trip. I rated the rooms as "average" for this reason. Everything else was steller.

Didn't do a lot of research in finding a place, but I trusted the Best Western brand name. I wasn't disappointed. Price during the week was a bargain, but of course, the price goes up on Fridays and weekends. I checked in on a Thursday and decided to stay one more day. I was very fortunate that they had a cancelation. My trip was a two to three day trip to Portland and Beaverton. I didn't want to spend a tonne of money, so decided to stay at a place an hour or less drive from Portland. This seemed like a great idea at the time. One big word of caution. Traffic. One of the worst I've experienced, and I've been to NY, Toronto, and LA. Just horrible. If you plan on visiting Portland, maybe it's worth your while to find a hotel in Portland. Even then, there's going to be traffic, but not as bad as the freeways. I guess it would be better if you just did your driving during off peak periods. The traffic in and around Portland just killed it for me. Okay, the traffic in Seattle just added salt to the wound. Next time, I'll drive at around 2 in the morning, LOL.

It was a clean facility, but many things that could have been managed much better. Check-in was not easy with a closed front entry for resealing purposes, forcing guests to enter to the side by ducking under trees that covered the walkway. Suites are not dog-friendly and do not have adequate bedding on hand for the fold-away couch / bed. Breakfast quality was poor and supplies ran out before breakfast was over. 9am is a very early end time for breakfast service.

There's a good and a bad about this place. To begin with the good. The outside of this Best Western looks clean and well maintained. The inside lobby is the same way. It is beautiful and looks like it has just been updated. Even the decor in the room has a nice appearance. However, the most important thing to us is cleanliness. I posted a picture of the toilet. That was really bad. Obviously, it had not been cleaned from the previous occupant of the room or was it the occupant before that? It appeared as if diaharra hadn't been cleaned off of it. Believe me it wasn't a pleasant sight when in the bathtub. We were pretty disgusted with that. A dust rag would have also been nice for the top of the bed frames. Husband went down to night clerk who didn't seem too concerned. I think I would have thrown my arms in the air and offered to get it cleaned immediately but not so with the clerk. Her only comment was that she didn't have many rooms left. The next morning we went down for breakfast and returning to the room our key cards didn't work. Only one worked the night before anyway but now neither worked. Manager at the desk indicated it was our cell phones. Not sure that blame needed to be placed anywhere but funny because they hadn't been close to the phones. What about an "i'm sorry. Let me make you new ones." Breakfast bar was pretty good. However, it would have been nice if the attendant had wiped off the tops of the tables from others. Obviously, we weren't pleased with this Best Western. I doubt we'd stay here again.

This place was terrific. It was actually charming with terrific decor and music playing throughout the hallways and lobby. We loved the pool and the breakfast was fantastic complete with eggs, sausage, waffles, french toast sticks, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. It was also wonderful to have a noon checkout rather than 11am particularly with kids. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel for any future stay!

We would need a full refund of the $187.59 we spent to ever stay at a Best Western Hotel again. This was the worst experience of our lives. I had booked a reservation through AAA in Oregon for the Best Western Hotel in Woodland WA for our Wedding Night! I had booked the king suite with jacuzzi, the best room available months in advance. Upon ariving at the Woodland hotel we were told that not only had they given our room away but that they also did not have another room available. They said there was nothing they could do even though they knew that it was our wedding night hotel which was stated by AAA. After some time we were able to talk them into calling the Best Western in Kelso Washington where we were charged an additional $30.00 for a room that wasn't as nice as the original, there wasn't even a jacuzzi. AAA is now as furious as we are. I will tell everyone I know this story and I hope AAA does as well. Unless we are given a full refund. Thanks for ruining our wedding night! Regrettfully, Kyle

I travel a lot and Best Western is one of the chains I use, so I decided to stay in their property at Woodland while on a leisure/business trip in southwestern Washington. The check in woman at the desk was excellent and very professional. Most of the rest were excellent too and the service would have gotten higher marks except for the fact that the manager used some non factual excuse to explain the early termination of breakfast service. Every other Washington state hotel I stayed in during this trip offered some sort of breakfast until 10 AM, but unbeknownst to me this property ended its breakfast at 9 AM. The manager informed me that this was due to a new Washington state regulation requiring them to do so. Upon further investigation this proved to be false. Fortunately the property had a very helpful and conscientious kitchen staff member who was able to somewhat accommodate us and help save the reputation of an otherwise decent Best Western property. Other than this incident, the room was comfortable and the rest of the stay was pleasant.

This place is a joke. The manager told me we could pay in cash at the end of our stay and my card ended up being charged on top of it. The phone wouldn't work in our room. There was hair in both beds!

Beautifully renovated hotel. New lobby and rooms. Good sized room with king bed, sitting area with couch and work desk and still plenty of room. Set back from the freeway so very quiet even though we faced the freeway. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Only a 1 night stay since passing through and the small town doesn't have much to make you stay longer.

The room we had was a suite with a small couch which made the stay very comfortable in the spacious room. Pretty much everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff was at our beckon call at all times with a warm and friendly attitude.

I book this hotel but canceled well in advance spoked to manager Jessica twice making sure my cancelation hotel change me anyway very poor way to treat coustmer I will never stay at B&W.I had to go through the credit company to get changes reverse that took some time I have never had experience that before by the hotel .

When I pulled into the town of Woodland I was a bit worried about what the hotel was going to be like. But it was great. It looks like has gone thru a bit of a remodel. The room was nicely decorated and clean. A bit of a messy paint job on the bathroom door but that was about it. Breakfast was better than I expected with waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes along with cold food as well.

We were in town for a wedding and made this our place of stay for the night. It was very convenient and easy to find right off the freeway. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. It is set back from the road so at first we didn't think it was there. The rooms were neat and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was very quiet where the hotel is located. The staff was very pleasant to work with. Overall was a great value. Highly recommend.

I often stay with Best Western for my travels. I have enjoyed the consistency in their product and services with good price point, and in most cases good location. I stayed at this hotel for the first time and they delivered the quality that I expected. Location: within a minute to I-5 freeway. Restaurants, gas stations, and Casino nearby. The hotel is hidden in the back of a parking/driveway of office buildings that felt uncomfortable when I first arrived but after I checked in it didn't bother me. Guestrooms: spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable. Delivers BW standards. Breakfast: free. Standard BW breakfast. Good value for the price point. Price Point: I paid 90 dollars for my room. Very good deal. Overall, excellent value.

Most best westerns are going down hill. Used to be the only place I stayed, but using other motels mostly now. This one had cold coffee one morning , no coffee the next and the young man gave me attitgude when we asked for some. They also stole my food and and a bottle of water from the fridge. They did nothing about it when reported. 26 bucks down the drain and had to get more. Bed was good though.

was hard to find at first as it is set back of the parking lot, it is very nice, very quiet location, service was overall great rooms were great. the breakfast was horrible, eggs were watery and cold. provides laundry service, but staff couldnot find laundry detergent to sell and for some reason couldnt get ahold of another staff member to find out where it was... in the am had to ring a bell to get attention of staff for check out not a fan of having to ring bells for service. this is a great hotel would recommend and would stay here again.

Very nice overnight stay. Nicely remodeled and very convenient for attending a concert in Ridgefield. A couple things to note- the good: the desk attendant was very nice and attentive. The room was not fancy but fit our needs. The hotel was clean and easy to get to get to. The bad: our room was located directly above the laundry room and they started early morning with the wash and it sounded like a jet landing below the room-woke me up. Also, the free breakfast was very quickly wiped out by the mob of guests trying to fight their way in to the small counter. The staff seemed to struggle with keeping the items stocked. No coffee, forks, no bread- you get the picture. The desk attendant tried but seemed overwhelmed and maybe told by management to only put out a minimum amount of food. Also there was only a very small eating area that was take over by a large group of guests. Having said all of that, I would stay here again, maybe just go elsewhere for breakfast and ask for a room not located above the laundry.

I stayed at this property about 1.5 years ago when it was managed under another hotel. It was fine then. Now that BW has taken over, it has been newly updated and looks nice. They re-arranged some of the lobby/breakfast area. Rooms are decent and clean. I'm still surprised how terrible job the contractors do when updating the rooms, so sloppy. I'd fire them if they were doing work for me. Rooms on I-5 are pretty quiet since the hotel is farther back off the frontage road. Pillows are super fat. I forgot mine and had difficulty sleeping. Why cannot any hotels offer a thinner pillow, I don't need my head jacked up so high that I get a sore neck. Work out facility looks nice but TV didn't work right so I didn't use. Overall decent place to stay and likely best place in Woodland.

The hotel was a little difficult to find as it is in the back of a parking lot. Also getting over to that side of the freeway is tricky if you are heading south. The lobby is beautifully updated. The desk agent was helpful and friendly. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. But... When I pulled back the sheets they were very wrinkled and appeared they hadn't been changed between guests. Maybe they just have wrinkled sheets.?.. The TV has lots of channels to choose from! Overall a very nice room! Breakfast was probably the worst part of our stay. It is right in the lobby with only three tables to sit at. The options were very limited and no one was refilling or cleaning up the area. It was disappointing considering the hotel was so beautiful! We opted to eat elsewhere for breakfast. Even with the breakfast I would say the hotel is a good value.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious room. Very pleasant receptionist. The one thing that could use improvement is the breakfast. Would love to see some fresh fruit included and more healthy choices.

My fiancee and I are starting a long journey from the place of our first date many years ago. We picked the Woodland Inn. Because it has gone through a beautiful transition. It is a little hard to find in the Washington version of a beautiful day, but worth looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful but we had two issuse. The fan in our room got louder and louder and we were forced to chane rooms, we were compted for the inconveience. There is no wifi service in the rooms and only a weak signal in the lobby. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff was polite and knowledgeble about the area. If we come back to Woodland we would stay there again.

Although the room we stayed in was completed and up to a acceptable level the rest of the place was tore up, in several cases flat out dangerous. Large holes in the second floor wall that would spit your young child down to the parking lot, to exposed carpet nail strips that are a great wake up call if you want tore up feet. Additionally if you didn't forcibly pull our door closed it would not latch, twice I came. Back in the evening to find the maids hadn't so my room was unlocked all day. The breakfast was typical pastries, cereal, bagged scrambled eggs and sausage. The best part of this place is the staff they were polite and accommodating although I get the impression that they are not fond of there management or owners. To the management and ownership you should seriously consider the issues of remodeling while open and treat your staff as the professionals they are. Overall I would not recommend this establishment to anyone until it is completed, and according to the staff no one knows when that will be.

Our GPS took us to the exact correct address but we could not see the hotel. It turns out the property is located well back from the road, and the only indicator is a tall sign that was then covered and dark. When we finally pulled up to the lobby area, we could read a faint "Quality Inn & Suites" on the wall. Otherwise, it appeared to be a defunct old motel. The receptionist was truly pleasant and explained that all the reconstruction is to remake the property a BW hotel. All this was understandable and would have been more acceptable if we had some sort of prior notice (we had a reservation for five months) and/or some price concession. Our room was ok, except for the bathroom. In the bathroom there was not a single towel rack, no tp holder, and absolutely no ventilation at all. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well and was quiet. Breakfast was very, very limited and not good. The setup is in a temporary place, but they still managed to put out juices, coffee, breads, and even hot scrambled eggs. But, everything was mediocre, including places to sit.

This Quality Inn is being transitioned to a Best Western Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, excellent bed. Our room faced the freeway(I5) and we expected loads of road noise, we were mistaken, it was quiet. Employees were very np nice and apologetic about the construction going on and the fact that several things didn't work, like the sign at the road. We did have a problem trying to find the hotel in the dark. Breakfast was questionable, but it is a construction site, I believe when finished there will be no problem.

Fair warning - this is a mini-saga of a miserable stay, with just a few nice compliments at the end. This motel is in mid-remodel - a major remodel, not just hanging new paintings, but the lobby and hallways are lined with tub surround parts, tiles, etc. It's a mess. As a public speaker who travels a lot, I look for an indoor pool and hot tub, and early check-in wherever possible. Having called ahead, I arrived at 2 pm after a miserable traffic jam on a hot day, looking for a soak, then a nap before getting ready for my speaking engagement that evening. I have pain/mobility issues about walking very far, so have to choose between Handicapped Room vs. distance. They had put me in Handicapped room, saying on phone it wasn't 'that far' from the pool. It was as far from the pool as it could be in that motel. Oh well. Got in my bathing suit and walked to the pool. Stuck toe in hot tub - it was COLD. Great! Told front desk on my way back to my room, saying I hope they get it fixed by that night when I got back. Went to my room and went to turn on the TV. No remote control in the room. I looked everywhere, then called the front desk. Fifteen minutes later, she arrived with the 'only spare remote', which she spent another 15 minutes unsuccessfully trying to program. Since I was staying 2 nights, she said the only thing she could do was move me across the hall to another room, and she went to get a key programmed for it. Half hour later, she arrives. I'm unhappy and ready to take a nap, not feeling great about my upcoming public appearance after all the hassle. I told her twice I would be napping. She moved me across the hall and left. I got into bed and quickly fell asleep, only to be abruptly awakened by pounding on the floor of the room directly above mine - carpet layers were working on that room right over my head. Spitting out words I can't put in this review, I jumped out of bed and got dressed, and left to go have dinner out and try to get myself together for my appearance. I came back afterward and went straight to bed after being assured that the construction workers didn't work the next two days. A.M. called the front desk to inquire about the hot tub... still a problem. I had an all-day event, so I left. Came back 9 pm to ask about the hot tub. New person at front desk said it should be ok in about an hour. I said never mind - I'd take one in the morning before I left. The punch line to this unfunny story is that, when I called the front desk in the morning, the clerk said, "Well, about the hot tub, this is a FUNNY STORY..." and proceeded to tell me the person who had turned the heaters on had mistakenly turned the SWIMMING POOL to 103 degrees, and the hot tub was at 80. So, I asked, what's the current situation, besides your upcoming horrendous utility bill? She replied, "Well, I've got a pool full of adults soaking, and a hot tub full of kids playing." That was my cue to get dressed and get the heck out of the place. The good news? The beds and pillows are extra comfy. The front desk clerks were as nice as they could be, especially Natalie, but they were working against all odds. And when I requested they ask the manager comp me for the first night that had been so awful, he did at least give me half off the first night's rate.Not generous, but better than nothing. I think it'll be nice once they're done and converted to a Best Western, but right now, forget it.
