"Quiet, Clean, and friendly professional staff"
Hotel is a bit out of downtown but worth the cost. Trains pass frequently so request a back facing room. Great air-conditioning which was necessary after walking the downtown historic area. Everyone should visit Winslow then return again!
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you Ekmanfred for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. We're glad you enjoyed our Hotel, Trains can get loud. We hope to see you again.
"Nice Stay but older hotel"
This hotel only has 2 floors. The king suite we had was huge but the room needs to be configured differently. Wall plugs were difficult to plug electronics into. They had a desk but could not use for a laptop because there were no wall plugs where the desk was located. They had a chair by the window with a lamp behind it but only one wall plug where the lamp was. There were no wall plugs on one side of the bed. It was such a poor layout because it is an older hotel. Furniture in the room needs updated. Breakfast was ok but limited. Not all food was ready when we went down after 6:30 am. Overpriced for the condition of the hotel and room. The road was easy to get to downtown Winslow about 6 minutes away. Did not have to get on interstate.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback Dmrdar, this is how we improve our guest experience. We are an older, smaller Hotel, property opened up in 1997, only 54 rooms which is why we're only 2 floors with an elevator. King Suite has outlets in room but unfortunally limited, desk has lamp with outlet on it that can be used to plug in Electrical Devises. Standin on the Corner is a short drive from Hotel which does make it convenient...
"Satisfied and happy"
Check in great, room clean, customer service mostly good, cleanness, space excellent, light adequate, location good, right at the beginning of the city and its peaceful, showers are good and sinks has
"Best stay in Winslow"
The staff here is wonderful, the beds comfortable and the breakfast great. Coffee and tea available all of the time, a Keurig in the room, swimming pool and excercise room. We stay here often and we highly recommend it if you're coming to Winslow for any reason.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you Kathirose for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us & we enjoy having you here with us. We'll see you next time around.
"Great Western Winslow"
The hotel was very eaqsy to find. It had very friendly front desk personel. Best Western was not far from downtown Winslow. The room was very clean, but kind of small. Hard to walk around with two adults and two teen age boys. BUT...it was not smaller than the other Best Westerns we stayed at during this vacation.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you Angel for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. I'm glad you enjoyed our Hotel, it is a quick drive to Standin on the Corner & a decent walk to Flying J/Denny's. I'm sorry you didn't like the size of our rooms, it was built back in '97, unfortunally we can't do anything about the size of our rooms, we hope this doesn't keep you from coming back. We hope to see you again.
"Cross country road trip"
Great location and the front desk clerk was welcoming. We didn't check in until 11 pm after traveling all day from Las Vegas but she was so sweet and recognized that I was BW rewards member. Got 2 free bottles of water.

"Great Stay"
This was our first time staying at a Bester Western Plus. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was perfect. Rooms were clean. The internet was reliable. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive.

"Great location off I-40."
Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Great location off I-40 and also close to historical downtown Rt. 66. Coffee pot and fridge available in room but no microwave, Coffee in room was very good so it must not have been instant. Good selection of breakfast foods in the morning. We had the pancakes and oatmeal. ( oatmeal made up and not just packets where you have to make it yourself!) If in area this is a good hotel to stay at.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest satisfaction. Our staff works tirelessly to provide the cleanest rooms possible, we also strive to give options at breakfast to satisfy our guests. Hope you enjoyed our downtown standing on the corner.
"Price gouge, yappy dog, lack additional elevator"
Most disturbing of this experience is how the hotel decidedly took advantage of a emergency occurrence and price gouged customers accordingly. There were adverse weather conditions and the Department of Transportation shut down Rt 40 forcing many truckers, travelers and families to stay in Winslow: the normal rate could be secured at $89.00, however, I had to pay the excessive price of 240.00 for the night. Additionally, only 1 elevator (Maximum of two people in the elevator) no microwave in the room, lack of device charging convenience at bedside, inadequate bath lighting and to have been awoken at 5a in the morning by a yappy dog in a adjacent room. Based on the aforementioned facts, I would never overnight at this hotel throughout the future.

"Best Western in Winslow"
Hotel was neat and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. I was impressed with the hotel. Breakfast had nice offerings and attendant was kind and courteous. Would recommend. They have an elevator and ice and microwave are available on the floors.

"Good place to stay in Winslow"
Stopped here on our return to Nevada from Florida. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Reception was excellent in explaining where room was, breakfast hours and dining recommendations in Winslow. Room was pricey, but all the hotels In Winslow seemed on the expensive side in relation to other cities we've stayed. Drawbacks to us were lighting was very subdued in room and bathroom. No electrical outlet on one side of bed.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. We are glad you enjoyed our Hotel, my staff works tirelessly to provide our guests with the cleanest & friendliest Hotel experience possible. Not sure what Room Type you had but our QQ rooms have an outlet in between the beds & our King rooms have an outlet on one side of bed but all rooms have an outlet on the Bedside Lamps. We get Warm White LED Bulbs for low cost energy, unfortunally not too bright.
"Always a good experience!"
I've been staying at this Best Western every other week for about a year and a half. Always great service at check in. Room is clean and comfortable. I have no plans to stay anywhere else! I usually check in early and the room is always ready.

"Traveling Westward"
This was a nice, clean, quiet hotel. My husband and I had a one night stay here while traveling westward. The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and I like the fact one enters rooms from inside.

"Nice hotel, lousy HVAC system"
The hotel is outside of the main area of town so you drive to the historic part of town. The breakfast was great and the nice surprise were the freshly made hot cheese omelets offered. The breakfast area was well stocked. The staff were very friendly. The downside: we stayed in Room 231 and the HVAC Staten was horrible! It sounded like a jet engine every time it started and as a result we slept horribly. We reported it when we checked out (we only stayed one night) If the HVAC system is fixed, then we would stay here again.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. I'm sorry about our HVAC Unit, they are LG's & are older & in the process of being replaced, we have Unit on Backorder so will take time to get to us, but we are aware of some HVAC issues & are taking steps to replace. Hopefully next time your in town & decide to stay with us we will have that issue resolved.
"Winslow stay"
This hotel was overpriced. The night staff were not friendly. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good, although the eggs were cold. The room key took multiple attempts to get unlocked.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us & sorry about my Night Staff at the Front Desk, they know to treat our guest with the upmost respect & to be friendly with a smile. Glad you enjoyed breakfast we work to bring options to our breakfast for our guests. Eggs being cold is not how we usually do things. Hope you give us another chance by staying with us again in the future.
"A comfortable nights sleep"
The check in was very nice and simple, the staff were all extremely nice and friendly and our room was very good. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big and very nice. Easy hotel to find and easy drive back into Winslow. The breakfast was good and lots of variety and parking was easy.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback, this is how we improve our guest experience. Glad you enjoyed our beds we are currently upgrading to double-sided pillow tops. Our Hotel is located a little out of town a little quieter & away from people & traffic. Glad you enjoyed our breakfast we work to give as much choices as possible.
"Clean Hotel!"
Very unfriendly person at the front desk….did not go out of her way to be friendly! Did not acknowledge that I was a member! Hotel was fine….only one elevator was bothersome….and it was at the other end of the hotel from us! Our 2Q suite was nice and roomy for the 2 of us! Breakfast was fine….lots of choices! Breakfast staff was friendly! Nice location!
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback this is how we improve our guest experience. I'm sorry Front Desk Staff wasn't friendly, they know to greet our guest with a smile & friendly attitude, not doing so makes us look unfriendly. Glad you enjoyed our breakfast we work to get our guests as much to choose from as possible. Hope to see you again in the future.
"Close to Route 66 and attractions. "
Based on the reviews I almost feel like we stayed in a completely different property. The positives are the property was clean, the lobby is nice and the location while at the edge of town is mere minutes from the main street (Route 66) where the majority of popular restaurants and shops. Everything in our room worked though the AC was a little weak. Beds were clean, pillows were decently comfortable. My wife and I love the Phamacopia toiletries and enjoy Best Western hotels for this alone. As for negatives, the property feels older than I think it is. The entry to the parking lot was rutted if I can remember. The lighting in the room was very dark, floorboards in the hallways creaked and felt uneven. AC unit was by the window and not central. The last BW Plus we stayed in was in Williams, maybe an hour and a half west of Winslow on the 40. For slightly more money the room was larger with great, warm lighting, there was an on-site steakhouse and bar. The property was well upgraded throughout the years despite being older. If I could I'd give this location 3.5 stars, unfortunately Trip Advisor doesn't allow for that. If this location was merely a Best Western vs a Plus I think it would make more sense based on expectations.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you your feedback this is how we improve guest expectations. Our Room Attendants work hard to give our guest a clean & sanitized room. Our property was built in 1997 & we have furbished all rooms, painted & carpeted hallways. I'm really sorry we did not meet your expectations
"Great hotel at great location for exploring"
Unlike some hotels I've experienced and/or read about in the last two years this one, somehow, retained the staff to fulfill the complimentary hot breakfast advertised. I've stayed in some that, simply, could not do that and offered a "bag breakfast" that was decent, but that's it. This one had a little breakfast buffet that was cooked like someone cared. Great way to start your day. The place is very conveniently located for an adventure to Meteor Crater AND Petrified Forest so if you're looking to knock those two out in one day, you can and this is the place to stay to recuperate.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback glad you enjoyed your stay here as well as our Full Hot Breakfast, even during COVID we always did our best to offer as much for breakfast as we could in order to feed our guests before they hit the road, our Breakfast Attendant Leslie cooks food & keeps the breakfast area clean. I'm happy you got to explore the Northern half of our state & enjoyed yourselves on your adventure.
"Comfortable rooms"
The rooms here are comfortable and roomy. The beds are also comfortable and the breakfast served has something for everyone. It's way beyond simple offering eggs, meat, potatoes, pancakes, milk, juice, nut milk (like almond or oat) vegan cereals, bananas and other fruit, oatmeal etc. The coffee is always on and always good.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback glad you enjoyed your stay & hope to see you again. Safe Travels.
"Stay elsewhere"
I've never come across a staff less friendly or even acknowledging my presence. The entire hotel had a bad smell including our room. I usually stay at another brand and will do so in the future. With so many choices, I'll not stay at BW again.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations, We have staff clean Public Area everyday & we clean our rooms everyday using ProClean Chemicals which smell more clean than Chemical. Hope you can give us another chance if your ever out this way again.
"Comfortable night sleep"
very pleased with the friendly staff, clean lobby, halls and rooms. The beds just allowed you to melt in for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was great, hot pancakes quickly. Nothing ever ran out. I would highly recommend this hotel.
"Ok place, its clean and friendly staff"
Ok, bed was harder than the first time I discovered my anatomy. Friendly staff, the pillows were ok. Breakfast was the best part it was really good. Hotel was very clean and it was conveniently located next to the interstate. The kids said the pool was cold as ice :(
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback it is greatly appreciated, we are working on getting new beds & replacing our Pool Heater, sorry for the inconvenience. Hope to see you out this way again.
"Not great quality for the price"
For $200 a night the quality was very poor. We had a sink that filled up almost to the top in the bathroom and would not drain. The toilet ran on and off all night. The AC unit was very loud. The breakfast was extremely sub par. The choices were excellent but the quality was poor. Taste compared to cafeteria food, not a hotel where you essentially paid $200 for a bed and breakfast. The front staff was unhelpful at check in when we asked about being able to to apply an AARP or AAA discount. Her only response was “We have no control over the online pricing or discounts.” May have been more helpful to respond with something like “Let me see what our rate would be with those discounts and we can compare it to what your online price was.” I would recommend trying any other hotel. La Posada is very pretty inside and costs less per night.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Hello Khuig: I apologize your stay with us was not up to your expectations, we strive to give our guests the best experience & am really upset you had to deal with those type of room issues, our Room Attendances should be telling our Maintenance about these type of issues. When reservations come in from Online we do not have the ability to change the rate, that would be between you & whomever you made reservations through. Front Desk should've explained this to you better, we would not ae able to compare Online rates with Hotel rates because we do not see what you paid for reservation so we do not know what rate they gave you. Thank you for staying with us & thank you for you feedback, this is how we can improve our guest experience.
"Best Best Western I have encountered"
We just stayed one night in transit between Sedona and Grand Canyon but I was really impressed. Reception folks were friendly and helpful and offered bottled water. Hotel has amazing decor: really fine colorful and cheerful SW pictures; I haven't encountered such good taste elsewhere at this type of hotel! Really nice lobby: again unusual for Best Westerns. Breakfast the next morning was, again, superior for Best Westerns in my experience: both warm and cold choices. Plentiful. Place appeared on the new side. It is a ways out of town.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback we are glad you enjoyed your stay & really appreciate your kind words, hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip as much as you enjoyed our Hotel. We strive to give our guests the best experience we can, it's always nice to hear we did our job well. Building was built in '97 turned into a Best Western Plus in 2010. Thank you again & hope to see you again if you're ever out this way.
"Clean comfortable room."
Convenient location right off Interstate 40. Close to restaurants, what there are of them. Clean comfortable room. I thought maybe a little over priced for a standard motor inn in a small town but still reasonable. I would stay here again if ever in the area.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Hello Mr. Hoosier we are a Best Western Plus Winslow Inn not a Motor Inn, we are on the Eastside of town, the only restaurant near us is Denny's attached to Flying J. Not sure if you stayed with us.
"Have stayed prior"
Have stayed on this property several times over the past few years. It is always clean and in working order with a great staff. The parking is well lighted vehicles towing may need to park in open field or off-street.
Jesus Rodriguez, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your continued stays with us, we appreciate your continued loyalty to the Best Western brand & can't wait to see you again.
"excellent hotel with 1st class breakfast"
Lovely property and very easy to find, the only complaint as such was the very frosty receptionist at check in, not welcoming at all. This is the front of your business and a nice smile and welcome does go a long way and as this was our first trip from the UK in well over 2 years you would have thought they would be glad to have us there. Very compact lift just got in with the trolley, very clean area all around. A lovely bedroom with two large queen beds very comfortable lots of room with a fridge and nice bathroom/shower, lots of HBO max channels OH even got to watch the uk football matches and I found a film I have been waiting for years to watch, so all were happy. The breakfast was extremely good and very plentiful one of the best fares we have had in any property even very upmarket ones. Good parking and although very busy was very quiet at night. Also near to the ice machine was a microwave and clothes washing machine facilities which was in constant use. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all looking for a break near Winslow. We booked direct and it was cheaper than any 3 rd party site.
"Excellent Stay"
Beautiful clean lovely spacious room, excellent hot breakfast with the best coffee I ever had at a hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly and genuine, very accommodating and pleasant. The pool seemed like it could be a bit cleaner, slight sliminess on the floor but not too bad, I was still able to use it. The hotel was quiet and peaceful and very relaxing, no problems, very happy with my stay.
"Breakfast was amazing"
They had great breakfast options. I got to swim in the morning and work out in the gym area. Definitely family friendly. They do have an elevator so you don't have to worry about climbing the stairs up and down.
"FRIENDLY"
Friendly greeting, clean room and good beds. What more could you ask for? Well, you could ask for a toilet that didn't run water and flush it's self constantly and a heater/AC that needed it filter changed. The filter problem could lead to legionnaires disease. There was plenty of hot water but low wattage light bulbs so lighting was just okay but not bright. Hotel can be seen from the highway but sits back far enough that you don't get road noise.
"One-night stay"
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night on a drive from LA to Dallas. The room was clean and new. The bed was comfortable. There was nothing to complain about other than a little noise from fellow guests and a weird shower. No tub and a shower without a door, but a fixed glass wall covering about 3/4 of the entry side of the shower. I understand the idea, which is a door is not needed because the fixed wall contains the water, but his was not the case. Spray from the shower got the floor outside the shower wet, which made it slippery. Seemed like a design-flaw to me. That said the hotel gets a thumbs up from us. We'd stay there again.
"Best Western Winslow"
The staff was friendly and responsive and the room was clean and comfortable. The location provides easy access to the highway and is close to restaurants and other destinations of interest. We have stayed before and will again.
"Great hotel in a quaint Route 66 town!"
Great location, right by the interstate. It's a good stopping point if you're heading to Grand Canyon NP or Petrified Forest NP. Staff was very welcoming, rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable.
"Awesome stay and location"
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff, ease of checking in, location and breakfast was outstanding (Including the lady that ran it). The lemon water on the front desk was a very nice touch. Overall this was the best hotel I have stayed at. I will definitely make it a point to stay here again if I am in the area.
"Clean and comfortable with great breakfast"
The king room was clean and comfortable with a comfortable chair and desk/desk chair. The window opens which is always a plus for me. Plenty of hot water and fast in a large bathroom. Breakfast here is hot and fresh and we're glad it's back. Definitely recommend this place.
"Outstanding Best Western Experience"
Best Western has been one of my go-to place to stay for forty years, mainly when I traveled with my pet. This trip, my pet stayed home. We stayed here November 1 through 3rd. Very clean hotel; kind, thoughtful employee who was cleaning outside and location was quiet despite being right off I40. Generous offerings for breakfast, which we were welcome to serve ourselves. Highest recommendation - we would also stay here again.
Jesus Rodriguez, Owner at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments. We look forward to seeing you again if your travel plans bring you to the Winslow area. Thank you again and be safe. Jesus Rodriguez
"Memorable, Very Pleasant Stay"
I have been staying in Best Westerns for 40 years. This was one of the best. Very clean, generous breakfasts, kind staff. They even gave us a list of Winslow restaurants with a couple of them highlighted. (we tried one and it was wonderful!) Highly recommend this Best Western - if you're traveling without your pet.
"Good stop"
Stayed one night; room good size, bathroom was plenty large with good shower/tub, plenty of parking Real plus was the fantastic hot breakfast offered by the hotel-delicious! Only negative: hotel is a bit isolated, so you'll need to drive to find dinner.
"home for wedding"
very clean and friendly staff property is well kept. we enjoyed our stay. we had no problems quiet and close to the store and gas stations, and dennys. I recommend that you stay here when you come to Winslow.
"so good I came back"
tough to tell about motels in this area, this one is a winner, quiet and standing alone yet close to gas and only a few minutes to standing on the corner-excuse me, great cable variety and breakfast was better than most-stay here!
"Customer service no longer exists"
When we got into the room I turned on the heating/cooling unit. 69 degrees, low fan. After maybe 2 minutes there was a load, almost explosion and flames shot out of the unit. I called the front desk and was told no rooms were available. She would send up maintenance. After 20 minutes a man came to the door with a space heater! I told him, no way! I went to the desk and demanded my money back so we could leave. She told me a space heater was perfectly safe. I disagreed. She said she would put us in another room. I questioned another room as was told there weren't any. She responded…no big deal, she would give our old room to someone else!
"Easy and Comfortable"
Close to I-40, clean and comfortable. A very convenient place to stop if you were driving. We try to make it to Flagstaff, but there had been a lot of traffic that day and so decided on Winslow. Best Western is always a good bet!
"Best Western lived up to their name!"
The hotel looks new and very clean. Hotels drive me crazy because I wonder if the architects and designers ever stay in their own hotels. This hotel was the exception. The room we had was big - we have a lot of luggage which we could spread out and still not fall over. The room was organized with a long hallway for easy passage and a long counter so two people can put their bath stuff on and not run into each other. The shower head was high for tall people (or short people). The bath room had significant towel racks. Everything worked and the toilet set was not even broken and fit the toilet. The AC worked nicely and didn't blow cold air over the bed since it was positioned towards the foot of the bed. My only complaint is the passage to get to the elevator in the lobby - again what were the architects thinking? I give them a 1 for this but the rest of the hotel and stay gets a 10 plus!
"Best Western plus in Winslow Blows."
So my My Wife and I are on 10 day Road Trip that started on July in Vegas. We Have made are way from Vegas to Cedar City Utah to Monticello Utah.We have now made our way to Winslow Arizona.Every place we have stayed has been good to great. But not Best Western Plus In Winslow. My girls wanted to swim .NOT!.The pool is green I was told hard water and fluoride was the issue.I live in Florida ,our water his hard and we use fluoride. Big B.S..I URGE YOU NOT TO STAY AT THIS LOCATION.I CALLED Best Western customer service. They were of NO HELP.Im a reasonable person .And this is unacceptable. The 800 number customer service said I needed to give the GM a chance to resolve it.The only way to resolve is to shock the pool and wait till the next day.No good for my kids. We are leaving.Im a former Guest service Agent that worked at resort properties .POOR SERVICE.
"Winslow trip"
The hotel was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable! We've stay at Best Westerns many times before, and this location did not disappoint. I'm still sad about Covid restrictions still exist, but totally understand. We look forward to staying at the next Best Western Hotel.
"Best motel in town!"
This is the absolute best motel in town! It's been always super clean, with pleasant staff members for the most part. I would recommend it to anyone. I have been staying there two nights a week for 8 months.
"NICE STAY"
Not sure how to rate this - Everything was very clean. The AC was very noisy all night, but we were so tired from a 7+hour drive, we did sleep. Beds were good. I was kind of upset with a staff member, who was very rude to my visually impaired son when she seemed to think was was taking to long in the little pantry next to the front desk. She literally told him to 'come out of there'. He purchased a few items and paid cash at the front desk.
"Another Good Stay in Winslow"
I have began to stay at this hotel whenever in Winslow. Some others had surprises I did not appreciate. This one is Best Western, and lives up to the name. Easy access, quiet, and a nice breakfast in this covid world. I'll stay here again.
"Wonderful new hotel"
Winslow is picking up steam as a tourist destination, so it was bound to start getting new hotels. I was a little astounded at first that the only decent place I could find was a Best Western, but this location was top-notch. The staff was friendly and helpful - and they all wore masks (which I didn't see elsewhere in town). They actually provided a decent breakfast - eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage gravy, biscuits, yogurt, muffins - although they adhere to covid guidelines and ask everyone to take their breakfast to their rooms. The Internet connection was good. The bed was firm. The shower was delightful and easy to figure out. It was about a 5-minute drive to the Standing on the Corner monument in the old downtown business district (which is a lot of fun - great coffee place right across the street).
"Great Stay in Winslow"
Hotel staff were wonderful. Ladies fixing breakfast were exceptional! Rooms were clean. Covid policies were in place (limit to one family in the pool for 20 mins at a time). Fitness room use was also restricted, but available.
"Clean !"
Do not stay anywhere else in Winslow! We switched from another namebrand hotel because of significant issues with cleanliness and service. The Best Western Plus was a welcome change. Clean rooms! Friendly staff!
"New hotel great service"
Just walking in the door we knew we made the right decision. The lobby is very nice and the reception staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast has hot and cold options available. Due to Covid, the staff takes your order and gives it to you in a carryout container. The location is right off the highway and about 5 minutes into the center of town. Of course we went to Standin on the Corner and had dinner at the Turquoise Room!.
"Pool gross"
I am giving 3 stars mainly for the work put into breakfast which was good. My son was excited to swim. We took a look at the pool and it was green and smelled like algae. It's open but nobody swimming in it. My son even said no thanks and noticed the smell. The beds are hard. The rooms are dated. Thin walls and noisy AC. Didn't sleep well and back hurts. The room had a bad smell too like they tried to cover with air freshener and cleaning chemicals. My advice just don't stay in Winslow. This is the “nicest” hotel and it's pricey. Keep driving.
"Best hotel in the area"
The kind staff made us feel welcomed even though we arrived late. Very well lit and we felt safe with our trailer being parked here. Pool was open but we did not use. And Best Western seems to be the only chain which serves breakfast. And they served a hot breakfast! I would highly recommend this hotel.
"Very friendly staff"
I was at the best western for work. Staff was so great in ensuring that I had everything I needed. I was there for over two weeks and really appreciated everything they did. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
"Recommend to stay here in Winslow!!!"
This was probably one of the best hotels to stay at in Winslow; however it is not in downtown Winslow and is right off I-40 but I would recommend staying here than the other hotels if you're planning to stay in town (even La Posada I would avoid). Hotel is okay and the rooms are decent. Bathrooms are probably one of the nicest parts of the hotel which seemed to be renovated. During COVID, Grab and go breakfasts were offered - cereal, a breakfast sandwich, yogurt, granola bars, water, juice, coffee, etc. Pool and gym were open but required a max number of people. Free outdoor parking and late check out only offered till 12. Staff were friendly; only complaint was that they offer check in at 2 but it was t ready until 4:30. Also, the air conditioner/heater is very noisy and woke us up throughout the night. Despite the minor things, I Still would recommend staying here if you were to lodge in Winslow!
"Not great"
This may be one of the better options in Winslow, but that's not saying much. It's clean and the beds are fine, but I don't think I've ever stayed in such a loud hotel. A washer and dryer next to our room sounded like a rocket taking off (apparently they were waiting for a part to fix it, but they didn't stop people from using it at all hours) Cleaning staff and front desk employees were yelling to each other right outside our room all morning. The staff was generally nice, but the hot water was out in our shower, and they barely even offered an apology. Ultimately, ifyou don't mind noise, this hotel might be fine, but if you do, steer clear.
"The Most helpful Front desk staff"
We had an unexpected stay due to vehicle problems. The front desk staff was very understanding and helpful. Not only did they provide the means to allow us to charge our devices in the room (provided a wall charger) but they helped by extending our check out time, allowing us to stay warm in the room while our vehicle assistance arrived well after the check out time. Being the only one there with my 5 yr old, this act of kindness and understanding went above my expectations. Thank you so much
"boom box building with hidden pebbles mattress"
Staff was very helpful and cheerful, but the failure of internet and television was unfixable prompting us to depart early. The mattress was so lumpy is kept me up most of the night and I left the hotel with hip muscles aching from whatever was broken inside. The 700 mile day left us too tired to change rooms, but had we known the lousy building insulation would provide us with sound and reverberations of every foot fall, door close and case goods activation, perhaps we were fools to stay. putting lipstick on a pig does merely disguises its true nature. This is not a Best Western PLUS, it is, however, a Best Western MINUS. As hame, we have trusted this chain for years, but this stay and the black mold and vibrating floor nightmare in Hillside, Illinois last week now has us looking elsewhere.
"clean and nice"
Nice hotel. Clean. The grab and go breakfast was nice. The only people not wearing a mask were customers. This is not being enforced in hotels. We stayed 4 nights in hotels and everyone of them had people checking in with masks. Made me nervous. Policy should be, no mask no service.
"Well kept, clean, friendly staff"
Convenient to the interstate. Plenty of parking. Check-in was a breeze despite requesting to do so several hours early. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Room (1 king) was clean and had a coffee maker. No noticeable interstate noise (our room faced away from the highway). There was some noise from the adjacent room but nothing to complain about. A/C was unusually quiet (but worked fine - cool and hot) Definitely recommend and would stay there again
"Quiet, clean and a good place to stay."
This was our second stay at this hotel. We stayed here on 10/7/20 in rooms 113 and 114. The rooms appear newly renovated and were clean, good sized and comfortable. Everything in both rooms was in working order. The hotel is easy to find from I 40, about 15 min. from downtown Winslow and has plenty of parking. Note: when approaching the hotel from I 40, do not cut across the open dirt lot you first see on your right, it does not connect to the hotels lot and is very cratered The bathroom is good sized (note the sink is in the bathroom) and was very clean. The shower has a glass panel covering 1/2 the stall which we found odd as water gets onto the bathroom floor from the open back 1/2. The wifi was fair, (slow and intermittent the night we checked in and fine for web surfing the morning we left). The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Covid 19 The staff all wore masks and masks were required of the quests in public areas. The rooms and public areas were clean. Breakfast was a to go bag (a choice of fruit, yogurt, muffin and bars) and you could get coffee. Most of the guests wore masks. Overall the hotel did a good job.
"Good Stay"
We spent one night here after a very long drive. Check in was friendly and she offered dinner suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast, even though it was grab and go, was very good. Very BIG breakfast sandwiches. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
"Great stay!"
Best Western Plus Winslow Inn This place was wonderful- clean, quiet, newly remodeled- comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Just what we needed for one night but I would not hesitate to stay longer. Great location- very quiet! Cute town with couple of surprisingly great restaurants
"Providing Service during COVID Pandemic"
Providing Service is difficult in the best of times as each person has a different set of expectations. However, meeting the needs of the traveling public during the COVID Pandemic has to be double tough. I applaud the efforts of Best Western in Winslow AZ they did a good job under tough circumstances.
"Very Clean and nice hotel"
Very clean and easy access from the highway, grab and go breakfast due to COVID-19 was okay for the road - bed was very comfy and felt very safe staying in this hotel. Staff was extra nice even at the late hour we had to check in
"Beautiful, CLEAN hotel"
This has to be the cleanest hotel I've stayed at. In the middle of a pandemic, I had no hesitation about staying here. It's evident the staff work very hard to make sure everything is just right. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were decent, considering it's now all grab and go due to COVID-19. It's a convenient place to stay if you want to go to the Meteor Crater. It's a bit of a drive to Petrified Forest National Park, but I think a much nicer place than anything in Holbrook. Be sure to drive east a few miles and stop by the Jack Rabbit Trading Post on old Route 66. I'm not sure I'll ever be back in the area again, but if I am, I will definitely stay here.
"good, but with drawbacks"
One can typically count on a BW property. The rooms were nice and comfortable as expected. However, some issues with COVID precautions. The front desk staff were not wearing masks nor was some maintenance staff. Also, this seems to be a favourite for work crews in the area (a dozen work trucks in the parking lot). There was a lot of noise at 5-5:30 am presumably people going to work. Overall, good option if you take extra COVID precautions today.
"Great stay!"
This place was wonderful- clean, quiet, newly remodeled- comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Just what we needed for one night but I would not hesitate to stay longer. Great location- very quiet! Cute town witha couple of surprisingly great restaurants
"Good trip stop"
Stopped here on the way to Yuma. Right off I-40.. clean and quiet. Will stay here again. Impressed with Covid measures shown on website. Received a BW gift card in my email that I was able to use that was nice.
"Winslow Visit"
I have stayed at this location several times in the past and will continue to stay here. I was disappointed there was no breakfast available this time, but completely understand the reason. Can't wait to see it get back in the groove. The Breakfast crew is always a good welcome to the new day!
"Another Great Best Western Welcome"
Another great Best Western welcome. As we were checking in, the ladies on the front desk thanked us for being loyal members and gave us a gift bag containing 2 bottles of water, some baked cheese crackers & some cookies. A Great start to a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and despite being close to Interstate 40 the room was very quiet. After a good night's sleep, we headed to the breakfast area. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of hot items, Eggs (Omelet & Scrambled), Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, plus various types of Bread, Cereals, Fruit, Fruit Juice, Fruit Medley, Yoghurts, Bagels, Pastries, Tea & Coffee & ‘Make Your Own Pancakes' with a good variety of toppings etc. It was a really good selection, all well prepared, well laid out & the supply of hot items was continually resupplied. A breakfast at this hotel really sets you up for the day ahead. This hotel would make a great base for exploring the area. It is easy to find, located at the side of Exit 255 of Interstate 40. There is plenty of parking even when the hotel is busy, Only 1 Mile from Winslow's Historic District. 1.2 Miles from the actual ‘Corner' made famous by the Eagles song ‘Standing On The Corner In Winslow Arizona'. If you do go to the ‘Corner' checkout the “Reflection” of the “Flat Bed Ford”. 5.0 Miles from Homolovi State Park, where you can explore some of the Hopi Native American ruins. 5.0 Miles from Clear Creek, great place for Canoeing, Fishing, Swimming & Picnicking. The hotel has a great heated indoor pool (Ask at the front desk for pool towels). A good extra exercise room that is open 05:00 Hrs ~ 22:00 Hrs. A Laundromat that is open 07:00 Hrs ~ 22:00 Hrs (Coin Operated $2.00 wash & $1.00 dry), great, if like us you are on a road trip. There are plenty of options for dining within 2 Miles, various Diners, Café's Coffee Shops, Bars Etc. all open for Lunch & Dinner. There are also various ‘Fast Food' outlets. This hotel has various ADA Accessible features, from the parking area to the hotel itself, check out the Best Western Hotels website or call the hotel for more information about your particular requirements, I am sure they will be able to help you. There is an elevator to the second floor. All the staff at this hotel that we had the pleasure of meeting were very friendly and helpful, but three of them deserve a special mention. Melissa, Julie & Leslie, for being very helpful and making our stay that extra bit special. Thank You Ladies. We recommend this hotel and are looking forward to our next stay.
"Excellent Hotel Super Clean"
Booked a room at the hotel and was a great hotel. The check in clerk Julie went out of her way to accommodate me at checkin and was super friendly. The property in very nice and clean. The rooms were recently upgraded and very nice. The WIFI is excellent and due to the corona virus the staff made me breakfast bags to go. Highly recommend this property. Will stay here again.
"Great hotel for Winslow Arizona"
I was not expecting a hotel with this kind of quality inside a small town like Winslow. With that being said this is a great place to stay if u are in the area and needing a place to relax and rest. I loved how clean and colorful the lobby and rooms were. 10/10 would stay here again.
"Best Western Winslow"
Highly recommend the Best Western in Winslow, AZ. Comfortable, clean room. Excellent breakfast and service. Carla is an outstanding employee. Easy access to Winslow. What a fun nostalgic place to visit.
"Friendly staff"
My doctor warned me not to do any heavy lifting after a medical procedure. The staff here gladly moved our ten thousand pounds of luggage and set up the room for us. Well maybe only five thousand pounds. They were awesome. Thr room was what we had reserved about a month ago. It was clean. We will return next time we come back to Winslow.
"Clean with good breakfast"
Book through Best Western, they have the best prices for their properties. Clean room every thing worked. Good breakfast. We stayed in two Best Western properties on this trip that had breakfast and they both had better breakfast food than Hampton Inn(s) have had on other recent trips. This hotel is at the interstate exit ramp and has no restaurants in walking distance.
"Best Western Plus Plus"
We love being pampered and this property certainly delivers. Friendly & positive staff, excellent breakfast with many healthy options, sparkling clean facilities, comfy rooms and more. Exceptional deal.
"Overrated - check your room carefully before committing"
We stayed here based on TA reviews but many maintenance issues with our room added up to a very poor stay. We have been on the road 4 nights on a cross country road trip and this is the only poor room we encountered. It is substandard to the Best Western quality we normally experience. We stayed in room 231 right off lobby. - The bathroom door would not stay open (had to prop it open with waste basket) - the gaps around the exterior door to the room were so big that you could hear people talking in the lobby below and so much light came through the gaps that you could not get the room dark to sleep. It was like sleeping with a light on in the room. - the bathroom fan had a rattle that made so much noise the person in the bedroom area could not even hear the tv let alone sleep - the water in the shower was only luke warm - just barely warm enough to take a shower. - after flushing the toilet, it ran for an excessive amount of time and was quite loud - I wrote all these issues down and provided them the to the check out clerk and she did not even look at what I had taken the time to write down. She was completely disinterested. It is no wonder they have maintenance issues. Our room was definitely not a 4 1/2 rated room and was not worth $100. On the positive side, - the room was clean - beds were comfortable - check in clerk was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient - the check out process was quick - breakfast was normal and ok
"Clean, great service and comfortable but watch out for a slippery tub!"
The hotel was quite nice in the lobby and the room was very clean. The service was excellent and overall a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms can use some upgrading but still very nice and clean. The tub was the issue...it was very slippery for both bath and shower. Two of us slipped in it...fortunately no injuries to report. I might suggest either putting something in the tub or providing a rubber tub mat. As for the breakfast, it was decent. The food was replenished often and not a bad selection. Coffee is good. The eating area was kept clean as well. Overall, we would stay again but would need to ensure the tub issue was taken care of.
"Will be staying here again"
The hotel staff was very nice and tentative during my stay. I am a college student and I was traveling alone and to get into any other entrance beside the front you had to have a key card. I felt safe and the fitness room was nice I just wish there was a little bit more room in there. I didn't get a chance to go to the pool during my stay. The location is quiet and not noisy, the room was quiet as well. I was able to get a good nights rest. I will be staying at this location again.
"Standing on the Corner"
We drove across Country and stayed at Best Westerns based on the overall excellence and Value of our stay at this Hotel. Best Western has come a long way and we rercommend BW for your next Travel. Thanks
"nice hotel and helpful management"
Upon checking in we received a sheet that listed the local food eateries with their address, phone and website if available. we appreciated this as it was New Years Eve and we did not know how early some restaurants would close. The breakfast staff were friendly and one young lady actually went from table to table to ask the patrons if everything was satisfactory.
"We may never be here again... but we would."
Took a “bucket list” road trip to Winslow. Excellent place to stay. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was very good. Friendly staff. Breakfast lady looked like she loved her job! We would recommend this hotel to friends. Price was very reasonable.
"Oasis"
Along the dusty trail, this lovely place appeared. Many welcome special touches — lights and outlets in all the right places for example. Best Western Plus in general has been added to my list for the future. I hope they are all like this one.
"Winslow Az. Not standing on the corner"
This is a comfortable, clean, looks new unit. There are train tracks near by so if your sensitive to sound when sleeping bring ear plugs. Good breakfast selection. Like the pancake maker. AND they offer two other flavors of syrup other than Maple. It is about three miles out of than part of town, so you will drive for dinner. Desk has a list of available resturants. Or the Denny's out at the Pilot station. Besides you want to go stand on the corner in Winslow, Az.
"A Bit Pricey"
Very clean room, friendly staff. Shower was funky (shower door only covered the front half of the shower) and allowed overspray to get all over the floor making it slick and hazardous. The heater in our room (115) rattled all night and we could hear the people above us. When the people in the next room turned on their shower you could hear the water running. Breakfast was good with a nice variety, including fresh fruit. Expected a bit more for the price we paid.
"Accessible, clean, very nice"
This hotel was on the outskirts of town (eastern side) - perfect place, right off internet. Personnel very helpful - referred to excellent Mexican food in Winslow, demonstrated use of TV remote. Clean room, large, exactly what I had hoped for as far as needs for the night! Excellent stay with very very good breakfast the next day.
"Perfect Place to Stay"
Location was easy to find, clean rooms, very friendly staff the rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable, while we did not use the pool or work out room it looked clean and well equipped. We had two rooms due to the number traveling together and they were able to get us next to each other
"Nice & clean... good Coffee!"
Not a lot of choices in Winslow but this was a Nice & clean hotel. Walls were thin could hear people upstairs and if a door shut near you but overall not bad. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked nice also. The breakfast was good... Liked their Coffee. Would stay again.
"best western is the best,"
the motel is very near the interstate, but far enough away to be quite from the road noise, many good eateries near by for meals and snacks. there was breakfast at the motel for mornings which offered a variety of different items to please many tastes, even a to-go option.
"Standing on the corner in Winslow, AZ"
Rolled into town and hotel easy to find. The front desk gave us the "lowdown" on the weekend where unbeknownst to us the "Standing on the Corner" festival was happening (from the Eagles song Take It Easy.) We didn't get down to the festival due to a long day but did drive thru the darling town the next day for pictures of the flat bed Ford, the statues on the corner (and the sculpture designer was there.) The hotel was neat, clean and breakfast had the most inventive machine. A pancake making machine. Some have the waffle maker. This one push the button and get pancakes that roll thru!!! Also, Best Western has the best pillow ever!
"Excellent hotel with great staff"
Modern and clean with efficient and friendly staff. It is a little out of town but very convenient to the interstate. They opened the gym for me out of hours which was very nice. They should consider a 24 hour room key access approach. Their restaurant reco was perfect.
"Great place to stay"
The Best Western Plus in Winslow, AZ. was excellent. It is relatively new and inside ithe condition of the guest room, bathroom, lobby and breakfast area are impecably clean and in new condition, The rooms were very nice and big, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast was freshly made, had a large assortment of food including eggs, waffles, fresh fruit etc. Everyone working there had exceptional customer service and were very helpful.
"great stay"
We had a great stay here for one night. Check in was great (we were running late due to construction on I-40) and one of the ladies called my cell to check on us. Breakfast room attendant was super. This appears to be a newer hotel. The hotel is very clean and the bed was comfortable
"Very clean and friendly staff"
We were staying in Winslow one night and so glad we picked the Best Western. Seemed very new and everything was spotless. We had breakfast the next morning which was very good and they kept everything filled and hot. Bed was very comfy and would definitely recommend!
"Great staff, Great stay!"
Traveled from Phoenix to Winslow, for the annual, Standin on the Corner Festival, and was very impressed with our stay, at the Best Western Plus. From the moment we checked in, until we left, I couldn't think of anything that wasn't impressive about our stay. The lady that checked us in, was not only professional, but VERY friendly. The room was very modern and had great eye appeal, and was very comfortable. I'm a little anal, about cleanliness, and again I was very pleased. When we got up Saturday morning to eat, I was surprised by the quality and quantity of food, that we had access to. And the lady that prepared it all, was as sweet as they come. I don't get up to Winslow very often, but this is the place I'll want to stay, from now on. Also, after this visit, we will make Best Western Inns, a priority. Thanks again, to the staff. Every single person that i had interaction with, was perfect.
"Very accessible and clean"
Stayed one night! Great Breakfast, friendly staff. Comfy bed! Mobility accessible shower made the bathroom floor very slippery from splashing! Laid a towel on floor and it stopped that! One of the pricier hotels in Winslow, but felt they earned it! Parked by back door and easy in, easy out!!
"I appreciate consistency when I'm on the road."
Although I usually stay at BWs when I drive, this was my first stay in Winslow. I neither need nor wish to pay for unnecessary frills, but I expect a clean and comfortable night. I found the Winslow BW met my needs, with a staff that was friendly and helpful, the facility pleasant, and the breakfast (bacon!) tasty. I expect a well-run hotel from BW hotels, and I was not disappointed. Another uneventful stay! Thank you.
"Best Western Plus"
Great experience Front Desk agent Jess??. Very helpful. The breakfast staff was great and very helpful with the pancake machine. In our entire stay out West this was the only place that had real good room lighting and did not chintz on amenities.
"Good"
The hotel was nice and very friendly at check in. Room was clean and tidy but the thing that went against this hotel was that virtually no hot water in the shower. Wasn't a good start to the day. Breakfast was good but of choice.
"Great Place"
Great place to stay, we were traveling through and stayed here. Quick check in made this a breeze and we in our room instantly. Hotel is just off the freeway so no highway noise. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable for a good night sleep. We didn't notice any restaurants real close by but then we just stopped to sleep and head on. We will stay here again
"Traveling with Best Western"
Surprisingly nice rooms and amenities for the price. A refreshing swim in a clean pool really helps after a long day on the road. Noticed that some of the Best Westerns have Room Service through a order in menu - super addition of services! Hope that it continues and expands.
"Pretty basic"
The front staff were very friendly and our check-in went quickly. The room was adequate but nothing that makes me want to spend more than one night. The breakfast area was small and the food provided was pretty basic for hotel options.
"Traveling across country, worst night of the entire trip!"
Room advertised at $103, desk clerk said they didn't even have rooms that cheap! Looked like drug deal going down in parking lot. Air conditioner(s) were so noisy, that when we shut it off, you could still hear the one in the room next door. So, the room was hot all night. Awoke in the night, went to the bathroom and found a cricket taking a shower. Got rid of him, but found his brother the next morning, dead on the floor. When checking out, was not asked how my stay was, or anything remotely like that. But, breakfast was good. Not sure how this was rated an "excellent stay", unless people have low standards.
"WINSLOW, AZ"
Great Staff and great accomodations. A gem in the desert. I will definately stay there again. I have dubbed this place "the gem in the desert". Clean, modern and very nice overall. Thank you Carla and Leslie for wonderful breakfast!
"One night stay in Winslow"
The room was dated, but comfortable enough. It was clean, but needs work especially the bathroom. The hotel has a nice little place inside to eat a meal. Basic fare. Breakfast was ok. The location is conveniently off of the freeway.
"On the road trip"
Trip on the road. Very nice hotel and well located. Excellent breakfast with many choices. Very kind personnel at the desk. Very close to the historic Route 66 and to the ‘standin' on the corner park.
"Exactly what I needed after a day of work."
The staff was friendly and helpful. In fact everyone I met in the town was friendly. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. My room was large enough to spread out and work, and quiet enough for me to sleep. The bed was just right for me (pillows could have been firmer) and I was well rested each day. The breakfast area was small but the food was good, the server was pleasant and kept the area very clean. I would stay here again.
"Quality Stay!"
The hotel looks very new! Nicely done too! We had a suite with 2 queen sized beds and a queen pull out! The bathroom has a walk in shower with we loved! Spacious and clean! The included breakfast was very good as well! Highly recommend this establishment!
"We love Best Western"
We traveled to CA from Tennessee for a few weeks and back. We stayed at Best Westerns 6 times. We found them all be to terrific. One in Lusk had made to order omelettes on Sunday's. In the top 10 of all I have ever had. Another one in Sioux Falls offered us an up grade without asking. They were all clean and inviting. All members were very friendly. Wifi wa great in all of them.
"vacation"
The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were wonderful. My husband and I will stay here again whenever we come out west again. The motel lobby was very clean and it smelled so good. We love Best Western hotels!!
"Great Stay"
This location was great! Employees were amazing and the location was perfect. We were given several restaurant locations and ended up at an amazing Mexican restaurant. We always stay at Best Western hotels, and this one was one of the best!
"Decent play to stay in Winslow"
This property is comparable to a Marriott Fairfield Inn if you're familiar with that type of property. Please note that the mattress (in room 204) was VERY firm, so if your back needs a softer mattress this hotel might not be for you. We experienced a couple of issues - 1) The TV remote operates in conjunction with a device that is mounted on top of the TV (it looks like a camera). In our room it had been removed. Not knowing this, we called down to the front desk to ask them for a new remote for the TV. After a while a staff worker came to our room and showed us what had happened and fixed the issue. The maid who cleaned the room before we checked-in should have caught this on their room check-list. We also could not connect to the hotel Wi-Fi. After reporting this no one on the hotel staff could figure out what the problem was, so we connected our laptops via our own iPhone hot-spot. We noticed lots of other people in the hotel were also connecting via their hot-spot, so we weren't the only hotel guests unable to use the "free Wi-Fi".
"Great location right off the highway."
Really nice staff. Pool looked fun even though we didn't get the chance to swim. Breakfast was good. Super close to the highway! A little noisy between the rooms. You could hear people coming in and out of the rooms and we were on the lower level so we could hear the people above us. BUT - good hotel.
"Upscale Hotel"
This is a very nice Best Western Plus, better than most. We stayed here twice, going and coming from our trip to Aztec, NM. Most Best Westerns are pet-friendly. This one is not. I haven't found a Best Western Plus that accepts pets, probably because they are “upscale” from the regular BW. We have 2 service dogs, so not a problem for us. The staff were helpful, although I was “reprimanded” when we checked in on our return trip because we got in an hour earlier than check-in and were told we should “call if we were going to be early”. Hard to do when traveling and trying to be on time. We had a very nice room (pricey for a BW) but had continuing trouble with the TV. It kept turning itself off! The maintenance manager was extremely helpful and finally changed out the TV box, which worked fine after that. The free breakfast is very good, many options. The one con staying here is there is very limited places to eat. There's a Mexican restaurant across the street which does have good food, but if you want a variety, you will have to go west on I-40 to the next exit to find more options. A bit iterating, except that's where you can visit the famous “Standing on the Corner” statues and music area. A plus to see!
"i took it easy here - no probs"
I have to preface this with a disclaimer - I did a 14 night road trip through AZ & NM - 9 different hotels - so I can not be exact - all I Know is I did not have a bad experience at any of them (but I want them to get credit with a good review) - all were safe - varying degrees of quietness (depending on the in room a/c which i didn't use that much anyhow because of the weather) - I never really experienced road noise in any of them - they were all clean - hopefully they've fixed the dryer which wasn't taking money (I did tell the front desk) - but being in az there's always the back seat of your car to dry your clothes - to its credit the front desk lady said i should have told them and they would have used the hotel's dryer for me which was a nice gesture -
"BEST Western!!!"
Had an overnight stay at this hotel in Winslow after visiting "Standing on the corner" and Meteor Crater. Good hotel right by the Freeway. Lovely big rooms and a reasonable breakfast included - would recommend.
"Nice enough - 3.5 stars"
I admit that I don't get the rave reviews for this place. Maybe people are grading on the "Winslow Curve" It's nice enough. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Our TV remote worked for "On", "Off", "Mute", and "Volume"...no channel changing. The elevator was very awkward to get to with a luggage cart. We were surprised at the number slightly sketchy roaming around. I'm guessing that this is still your best bet in Winslow - 3.5 stars.
"Her name is Leslie"
We travel alot, you get bad & good everywhere you go. This is the first time that someone taking care of breakfast took the time to mingle with the customers (even the children) & still had a full breakfast. Keep it up Leslie
"Good hotel "
Winslow is not blessed with a huge selection of hotels, but this one is really nice. The only thing a bit negative was the very crowded breakfast area where not everyone can find a seat when busy. Staff was very friendly and breakfast selection as expected. Would come back anytime.
"Good place to lay my head"
Just travel thru and needed a place to stop. After long day driving, had dinner at Mexican restaurant within walking distance nearby recommended by front desk staff. No freezer in fridge to refreeze blue ice but otherwise a good place to stay.
"Great Place to Stay in Winslow"
We stayed one night on a road trip. The hotel seemed new - the decor and furnishings were attractive and everything was in new condition. The common areas and our room were very clean. The room was quiet, spacious and the king bed was comfortable. Nice pool area and exercise room. The complimentary breakfast was adequate.
"An Excellent Experience"
Perhaps because choices for places to stay in Winslow, AZ were very limited, I really wasn't expecting the top notch experience we had when we stayed at the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. However, from the moment we arrived - after an exceptionally long day of driving - until we checked out the next morning, we found our stay an exceptionally positive one. Everything about the Inn was clean and fresh and updated. The beds very comfortable, the room met our needs, and the free breakfast was about the best I've had outside of a top-notch restaurant! The woman who made the biscuits deserves some kind of medal for the best biscuits ever! I believe she also prepped the eggs (home-made, not egg-beaters!), as well as the rest of the breakfast offerings. The breakfast room was wonderfully clean and well maintained. The receptionists - both the night and the morning staff members - were personable, efficient, and helpful, Since my husband was coming down with a very bad cold overnight, I went down to the Front Desk at about 3:45 a.m. to get something for his cold. Although they didn't sell cough drops, the woman who worked the night shift was kind enough to get me a couple of herbal tea bags so I could make him hot tea in the room. The tea did the trick! In any case, this was an exceptionally clean and comfortable experience for two exhausted travelers.
"Amazingly generous Staff"
Hotel is clean, quiet and very cozy.. At check in we were told Breakfast would be 6am-9am.. I thanked them but told them we would be leaving at 5;30am so breakfast was out.. They had Staff put out breakfast early for my (6) man work crew so we could eat before leaving to travel on our way.
"Great place to stay for a road trip"
We stayed at Best Western Plus in Winslow while road tripping across the U.S. beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, and the hotel was nice and clean with plenty of parking. The indoor pool is on the small side but big enough to swim laps and play. The water was a nice temperature too. My kids loved it. There are glass windows around the pool outside and we had a gorgeous view of the Arizona sunset while swimming. The only thing I disliked about the hotel is the shower wall- there is a glass wall for the shower but it doesn't come all the way across to enclose the shower. It makes it easy to walk into it, but doesn't warm or steam up as nicely as a shower that would close vs walk-in. Overall a great stay- clean, comfortable and has a pool. Perfect for families!
"April 2019"
We had a wonderful stay here again. We arrived as a group this time with six rooms booked. Kristy, the front desk administrator, was really wonderful at getting our rooms all on the same floor and in close proximity to each other. We thought that was great service on her part. The breakfast at this location is really good! Leslie does a great job preparing everything. And there are so may choices. We had a really great stay! Thank you!
"Winslow BW Property"
As a business traveler I look for a clean, comfortable, place to stay. Having electical outlets to plug in my computer and more is also important. Something healthy for breakfast choices as well. This property has it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast has something for everyone. I love the pancakes. I will stay again and encourage others when in the area.
"Grand canyon trip"
We chose this location as to being on our way to the Grand Canyon. Not to mention it's on the historic Route 66. It's a small hotel, but they have a friendly staff, with a so-so breakfast. I would give them another chance to win me over, if we are traveling that direction again.
"Passing through "
Typical BW. Weird shower with only 1/3 glass partition. Water goes everywhere. Lucky they supply extra towels. Quiet room. Decent breakfast. Prices high, but it reflects the location. Pool, spa, etc Parking limited near door.
"Perfect"
Great hotel breakfast with real eggs and bacon. Nice assortment of items. Quiet clean room with a comfy bed. Warm friendly staff. I felt like they really cared if we had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.
"We had a great stay!"
This hotel was very clean. The staff was excellent at the desk and breakfast area. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and our rooms were perfect everyday. The hot water is great in the shower and we enjoyed the full breakfast. I had a total of three rooms for our group and we all had a great experience and will be back the next time we visit Winslow.
"Nice place. "
Booked off of Priceline. Rooms were nice. I called ahead as our flight had a seven hour delay. Had us checked in already. Breakfast was good. Was surprised about hash browns would stay again if I'm in the area
"Convenient to the Interstate"
The room was nice and the breakfast pretty much standard fare. It is easy to get on and off the interstate, but about 7 or 8 minutes from the Standin on a Corner Park. One item that was different in this motel than others that my wife and I have stayed in during the past 42 years is the shower. Our shower only had one glass pane that extended to the halfway point of the shower. Thus, water escaped to the floor of the bathroom! Not huge amounts of water but enough to make the floor extremely slick if there is not a towel in that area of the bathroom floor. As senior citizens, we are always concerned with the prospect of falling. Our bathroom floor was slick enough that it concerned both of us. This one item would probably be the reason why we would not stay here on our next trip to Winslow.
"when in town the place to stay"
great room and great cable selection, nice people and above average breakfast, beats standing on a corner anytime...above average motel for the area, and what Best Western is becoming, join Rewards and rack up the points
"Nice clean rooms, great staff."
The location is Winslow AZ; there is literally NOTHING in this town worth stopping for except this hotel. Especially if you like the Eagles as much as "the Dude" and I do (which is to say 'not at all'!). If, however, you want to see the Meteor Crater in the AM, you'll want to stay here.
"Excellent stay!"
- received room in location requested -laundry facilities were important to us -complimentary breakfast -free Wi-Fi -free parking -helpful staff -good location -air conditioning -clean room - room was small, however -good value -highly recommend
"Very Nice Hotel"
This hotel is very nice! Everything is updated and very clean. We have stayed a few times here. They have a great breakfast buffet too! For being in Winslow (which the town is a little rundown) it is a very nice surprise to stay somewhere like this
"Great breakfast !!!"
My husband and I stayed 7 nights. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The heating & cooling was a wall unit, which was older and quite noisy. The breakfast was excellent !! Leslie prepared fresh eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits, gravy, hash browns and a pastry each morning . Also available selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, dry cereals, juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate !!!
"Good relaxing experience. Was greeted warmly at front desk and she was helpful with what to see in town. Great free"
Nice breakfast with healthy options. Quiet area with mexican restaurant across street. One worker was outside when I put luggage in car. I forgot my key so she held the door and waited for me. Be sure to see La Posada when in town. Check out “corner” with Glenn Fry on it

"On the road"
Very nice hotel. Was far enough off highway that noise was no problem. All staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast offered a great assortment of items, both hot and cold. Room was nice but my wife said the beds were to hard. I liked them. would definitely stay here again.
"Nice, quiet mid-price motel near Interstate 40"
The motel has free parking. During my check in, the desk clerk was personable and efficient. The rooms have inside entries. My room was well laid out and quiet. I got a good night's sleep. My check out went well.
"Excellent hotel"
Outside of the downtown area- but super easy to get there! Very nicely renovate facility! Great value! Staff was super helpful and nice. Breakfast was surprisingly great with many good healthy and hearty options. Good gym and pool facilities are a plus
"Always a pleasure"
At the last minute we needed a place to stay and decided at this Best Western. The staff was friendly, as expected, and the hotel was very nice. Since then, we have chosen this hotel several times over other places in the area. We have found Best Western to always be consistent and reliable and a good choice.
"Nice place, questionable policy"
This is a nice clean hotel, but when I asked if a BW Rewards member received a complimentary bottle of water, I was told that I either got points or treats. Hmmm, at the last BW, we we're given both. Not a great welcome here.
"Tired, Sleepy"
We came in quite late. I'd say about 11pm. We were welcomed by a quiet just as tired looking receptionist. She was nice but serious. The hotel was clean, nice and new. Hopefully it stays looking this way. The bedding was excellent
"Work "
Nice clean rooms... Breakfast is good... Would stay here even if it wasn't work related... swimming pool... work out room... jacuzzi...can also get delivery from pizza hut ... Denny's is near by ...Freeway is nearby but no traffic noise...good enough for me...
"Quick trip to AZ"
Flew down to Arizona for the weekend. Wife wanted to "tourinst" a bit. Had to see the "Standing On A Corner". We got in late and the front desk was very helpful. Room was nice. Location was just off the interstate and a short drive to downtown. Thanks.
"Best Western Plus Winslow Inn"
The hotel was nice. They had excellent staff, a good breakfast, and clean rooms. I also saw a nice sparkling indoor swimming pool and exercise room but did not use either. If we stay there again, next time we will go early for the breakfast. We went around 8:00 and the place was over run with many children and parents. We still managed to get a good breakfast. Good eggs!
"Very nice rooms and the best breakfast on our trip."
If you want to be central to Winslow sights this may not be your place as it is on the edge of town. The rooms are great though and the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was easily the best on our trip, with a real nice variety of food. The room was very quiet and clean and although we didn't use it, the pool looked nice. The desk staff told us the Mexican restaurant right across the street was good, but we had already eaten so didn't check it out. It might be a nice option if you don't feel like driving a couple miles into town to eat.
"Nothing Too Special"
The Best Western Plus Winslow Inn is an okay motel. Why did I select this hotel, well, it has never been on the Bed Bug Registry (that I could find). The bed, a little had, the pillows are too soft and small. There was nothing that really stands out for the property, except for the morning breakfast (you actually get real sausage and eggs, and potatoes not the typical frozen entrees) and the meal shouldn't be what draws in the customers. My next trip to Winslow , if I was able to find a better deal at a motel that has been bed bug free for at least 2 years, I would give them a try - just being honest.
"Hidden Gem"
This is a hidden gem in Winslow. Rooms were clean, check in was fast and painless, didn't get to use the indoor pool but will next visit. Only complain was the staff were too eager to cleanup the breakfast buffet area, some of us are not early risers and most of the food was cleared from the area by 9:30am Would stay again,
"Clean, Comfortable"
Easy check in and out. Bed comfortable. Room and bathroom clean. Hotel appears relatively new. Plenty of parking. Breakfast had hot and cold items. No restaurants within walking distance. Hotel located on edge of town.
"When in Winslow"
Nice hotel with great breakfast. Nice clean rooms and close to all the Winslow fun. Great for quick travel and the staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and did I mention the breakfast has eggs and meat?
"New and clean facility"
The hotel appears to be relatively new. It is a 2-story structure next to empty fields. It is somewhat desolate. The facility is basic and plain, but is very clean. The staff was friendly. The rooms are large and with typical features. The mattress was firmer than at many hotels. The amenities are few and modest, but are clean and adequate. There are no eateries within sight. Must go to "downtown" Winslow to find a place to eat. The experience was not exceptional, but was better than anticipated.
"Brand new and very nice"
Very clean, new hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Out in the middle of no where. About 2 mile from downtown Winslow. Low price, (we paid $124 for one night) and that gave us a FREE breakfast! Scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, yogurt, breads, cereal, oatmeal, and more! The bath was in one room with a great exhaust fan! Beds were comfortable and the pillows were ok.
"Very disappointing "
Starting with the check-in, I was not acknowledged as a Rewards Club Member. Best Western has a deal where Rewards Club Members get a little goodie bag or points added to their account for your stay. I had to ask for the points. Also, it had to be one of the slowest check-ins I have ever gone through, especially considering the reservation was made online. We had reserved a handicapped room as my wife has limited walking ability. Walking to the room, I noticed that the handicapped rooms were placed in the middle of the long hallway making it cumbersome no matter what entrance one used. The room was alright with the exception of the bathroom door being a little hard to close all the was as if it were sprung. There is a Denny's nearby and we picked up a lovely meal. Breakfast was an equal mess. Watery scrambled eggs accompanied by burnt bacon. The biscuits and gravy were a disgrace. The biscuits were mushy and the gravy had the consistency of water with no sausage or flavor.

Thank you for submitting a review for our hotel, by giving us your feedback it helps us to improve for a better guest experience. I sincerely do apologize for lack of detail displayed at check-in. We strive to acknowledge every guest, and thank our loyal guests with an appreciation gift bag or other incentive. I've done some research, and if I am correct you checked-in on a night when our newly hired associate was working, which does not excuse the kind of guest service we strive to attain at our facility. The building was built in 1999, we realize the location of the accessible rooms are not conveniently located by an entrance, with the layout of the building our options to relocate are minimal to none, this has been an ongoing issue, with the raising prices of everything we just are not in a place to start tearing down walls, but anyone of our staff would be happy to help with anything you may need. I am shocked to hear what you experienced at breakfast, breakfast has been one of our strong points, and our breakfast host takes pride in delivering a stelar breakfast layout. I assure you that this is a one time mishap that well never happen again, I have addressed the issue with my staff, and checking the quality of breakfast items daily. I thank you for staying with us, and again i sincerely apologize, this is not how we run our facility. If you are ever in area again, I'd like to invite you to stay with us so we may have the opportunity to provide the kind of service we are known to give. Thank you.
"Comfortable stay"
Good location from highway. About a 5 minute drive to center of town. Newer, clean place with all the amenities you need. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. My only complaint would be that the pillow is hard and lumpy. Would stay here again.

Good Morning! Thank you for staying with us, we really appreciated your company. Please, if you find yourself in our area again, stop by and say hello! Safe Travels!!!
"A good stay"
We arrived to stay two nights. Very well checked in and went to room 114. Room was spacious and very clean. Unfortunately air con was noisy. Gym was small but fine for us. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and potatoes plus the usual waffles, pastries etc. No complaints from us. We decided to change our plans and only stay one night, no problem from the reception desk and we checked out next morning. This was in no way associated with our stay at this hotel. We recommend it.

"Exceptional friendly service"
Rooms were very clean and the staff were wonderful. I missed breakfast on Saturday and was sitting in the empty breakfast room with a snack when one of the staff offered to heat up some breakfast for me. Very unexpected and appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel for the clean rooms and the friendly staff.

"Nice & Clean! Very quiet & looks pretty new!"
Arrived early (forgot Arizona does not observe daylight savings time) but room was ready! Nice king room with desk, wifi and refer. Modern bathroom with door less, all tile shower. Complementary breakfast, pretty routine for Best Western. One of the newer, nicer hotels, in the "Standing on the Corner" city. Winslow is much cheaper than Flagstaff, 50 miles west.
"Winslow's nicest"
Winslow is a.great little stop. Most hotels in the area looked run down. BW Plus was a very nice hotel. Great breakfast. Powerful shower. Very nice staff. Clean upgraded room. Well lit parking lot. Clean hotel. Would stay longer if needed.

"Standing on a corner"
This was a surprise to see a good hotel had opened in Winslow. This location usually has accommodations for truckers or for people intrigued with see the historic La Posada hotel. Now if they would open a good restaurant, dining is limited in Winslow.
"Customer service is NOT something they value."
I was booked to stay at this hotel yesterday. When I showed up, they informed me they didn't take pets and were canceling my reservation. It was late...and my options were slim...nor would the hotel help. Here is the big problem...I contacted them two months ago to say I was bringing a dog and they never emailed nor phoned me to say that they were one of the few Best Western that doesn't take dogs. I talked with Best Western customer service later...and they essentially said they did nothing wrong. We ended up staying at nearby La Posada...which was WONDERFUL but isn't listed on TripAdvisor for some odd reason.

Dear Sir/Madam- Thank you for considering our hotel for your accomodations, I sincerly apologize for the ordeal you had to go thru after a long day on the road. I underdatnad your frustrations. Howerever you booked thru a 3rd party website, and doing so, we at the hotel were not properly given a guest ophone number nor a guest email. What we had on file in ur system was the number to the 3rd party, which i believe is a default number. When we tried to reach you to clarify our non pet facility there was no answer and no option to lwave a voice mail. The Best Western website as well as the 3rd party websites all have been changed to note our non pet facility. Unfortunatley we do not control the independent websites, some of which note that we do take pets, so if you type in hotels that take pets in Winslow Az, our hotel well most llikly pop up. Again i am sorry for the trouble you had to go through after a long day. If i cal be of any further assistance, Please call me at 928289-2960. Thank you
"Best Best Western so far"
As Platinum members we redeemed some points for a free room. Upon arrival we received a room upgrade and free snacks. The only thing missing was a whirlpool, which we usually look for in a motel after a long day on the motorcycle. Nice decor and comfortable stay.

"Winslow Highlight"
After staying at a different hotel during my last business trip to Winslow , I was hoping this hotel would be at least a modest improvement over the last. I was pleasantly surprised from check-in to check-out with the Best Western Plus. It was obvious upgrades and renovations had been made, leaving the lobby and guest room welcoming. Hallways were well lit, breakfast was good as far as continental breakfasts go and I felt safe. A huge improvement over my last stay. I would definitely stay at this location again.
"A Nice Basic Hotel "
Spent the night after leaving the Grand Canyon. Need a place to sleep and move on. The previous reviews are pretty much right on. The rooms are in excellent shape, and everything is very clean. They do have a breakfast but it is limited. However, there is enough to fill you up, and it was good. If Gluten is an issue, they do have fruit, eggs and several Gluten-free cereals. All in all it was good. I would stay again.
""Standing on the Corner""
Exit 252, I-40. Actually, Winslow Inn is a couple of miles east of the "corner" made famous by the Eagles. Typical 2 queen bed room. Beds are comfortable, counter space in the bathroom is adequate for two people, you wouldn't have to live out of your suitcases because of good storage. A/C is quiet and cycles fine. This was just a one night stay, so we didn't see much more of the Inn. We did visit the "corner". Winslow has done a good job of recreating the image the song portrays. It is a tourist trap, but a good one. Dining in the immediate area is limited, one restaurant across the street that wasn't recommended, and a truck stop on the other side of the freeway. Good stopping point on I-40.
"Excellent hotel in the middle of no where."
This hotel was well taken care of. The room was spotless, swimming pool was nice for the 106 degree weather we had. Staff was helpful and breakfast was nice. If you are passing through this is the place to stay!
"Great Comfortable Place"
My family and I had an overnight visit here recently. The place looked fairly new. The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Our 2 queen beds room was spacious and clean. I slept like a baby all night. As an added bonus, the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and potatoes were devoured by me. Next time I am in Winslow, I will definately stay here again. Oh yeah, the price to stay was very reasonable to.
"Excellent"
Quick stop in Winslow, Az on Route 66! Clean and welcoming! Definitely would stay here, especially since there are very few hotels. We lucked out and got a great hotel! Very quick check in, right off the 40 (literally), great price, fun shops & restaurants in downtown Winslow...of course.
"Great Overnight Stay"
Staff was very nice when we checked. Clean and comfortable and fairly quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Secure, well lite parking lot. One of the best hotel breakfasts! The worst I can say is the elevator was so so we used the stairs except for loading and unloading. I always appreciate a hotel with a luggage cart. Saves multi trips to the car.
"Nice, clean overnight place to stay while on the road"
We stayed one night as we passed through the area. Arriving at 11:30pm after being on the road for 10 hours, we were tired and ready for bed. Check-in was fast and convenient. We had a good HOT full breakfast and an easy check-out. Breakfast starts at 6:00am so we could get an early start back on the road. It is basically you get what you pay for and more. The hotel was easy on and easy off close to the 40 near gas on a dead-end street so it was quiet. We paid cash and they cash for a deposit instead of putting it on a credit card. They handed us the same cash back.
"Winslow hotel"
This was a brand new hotel in a area where they look to be expanding hotels and service. The hotel met our needs but was still in the process of opening. The breakfast was outstanding and the lady in charge of the breakfast room was very helpful.
"Quite a gem!"
Two adults and two teenagers. We booked this room based on travel advisor reviews. We were not disappointed in the least! The room was very lovely, clean, and well appointed. The swimming pool was small, but very refreshing. The breakfast was awesome. It was the best hotel breakfast I've had! The room attendant was efficient, very friendly, and the breakfast choices were amazing! The washing machine was convenient to our room, but the dryer is not working. We read that on several reviews, so it hasn't been fixed yet. The staff had us take our wet laundry to the hotel laundry, and they dried it very quickly for us.
Daphne C, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Ms, S.- I am suprised to hear that the guest dryer was not operable, since we had that fixed weeks ago. So i am confused as to what occured. The only thing i could think of is the coin op was full and wasnt allowing you to add any more quarters for operation. This mostly is the case, but i do assure you the dryer is and has been fixed. Thank you for staying with us.
"Pleasant overnight"
This was a very nice hotel. There was delicious fruit flavored water available in lobby. Breakfast was above average. Fruit was yummy. Room was the typical BW decor. Hotel was clean and location near highway.
"Nice stay - very satisfied"
The hotel is isolated, with few businesses around it, but it was a convenient location and within driving distance of restaurants. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well (so thankful). The bed was comfortable. There were no USB ports or charging areas on the bedside, bring yours. There were plenty of outlets available for devices.
"Nice Surprise in Winslow AZ"
Traveled north from the "Rim" up 99 to Winslow as the Tinder fire in late April / early May made alternate routes to Winslow possible. Stayed at the Best Western on a Sunday night. Was very pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of this hotel. Was near the Interstate too which was convenient. Room was ready and clean and everything worked well. Even the breakfast was above par. Best place in Winslow.
"Pleasantly Surprised!"
This is a little gem in Winslow. Starting from talking to Jesse on the phone it was a great experience. Rey was super helpfulat the front desk and Leslie was fantastic with breakfast. The room was clean and the AC worked great. It has a nice small pool that was perfect for a dip after a long drive. I would definitely stay here again!
"Surprise"
Stayed for just the one night with my family. Didn't have very high expectations. The property surprised me though. It's rather nice looking. Fresh and clean. The room was clean and quite spacious. And also, the breakfast was very good as opposed to how it usually is when it's included. All in all, a good stay.
"Thumbs Up "
First time visit to to this Winslow location. Prompt and friendly staff. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Has all of the amenities you would expect. Great off freeway location but quite. Good breakfast with attentive staff. Would stay here again
"I'm seeing stars"
We arrived late to Winslow Az. recently and I did not want to stay at La Posada for such a short overnight stay so we chose the Best Western Plus. This was a great find and I am happy to report this was a completely perfect experience. The check in was easy and efficient and the desk clerk was very informative about food and beverage choices available nearby. The hotel provided a simple map of Winslow and the reverse side lists numerous food choices with address, phone and website information. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. I normally travel with my own soap and shampoo but I did note that this facility offers better than average products. I love to be able to open a window for fresh air and it was possible to do so here. I also noted that the room freshener was subtle which I prefer. I have left more than one hotel with a headache due to cheap room fresheners. Yeah, I am that guy. We took a quick dip in the pool and found it well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was more than adequate. The server was attentive and kept everything fresh and well stocked. The fruit selection was bountiful and ripe. I had a small sampling but knew we were having breakfast at the Turquoise Room at La Posada so I restrained my indulgence here. We often travel with pets so our usual stops are mostly La Quinta but if I travel without dogs again I would definitely stay here.
"Clean, Comfortable Room, Nice Bed, Great Breakfast"
I've been to many roadside hotels, and this one is a much better than average choice. I gave this 5 stars because I can't assign a 1/2 star (it's 4 1/2). The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and the bed was comfortable. It has an indoor pool area that we didn't use. The employees were all very nice and helpful. My wife needs a softer bed, and the front desk clerk went to the available rooms to find one with the softer mattress. Note that the hotel is changing out mattresses so ask for a room with the new pillow top mattress so you get a good rest. A previous owner redecorated with a lot of tasteful art. The hotel is on the outskirts of town and fairly quiet, but we could hear some noise from the lobby as our room overlooked the lobby. We faced the back on the second floor ands had a view of the desert with far off buttes visible. Breakfast buffets are usually just OK, but this one was much better than most. The nice breakfast lady prepares the fresh fruit from real fruit including mangoes. She also prepares the biscuits there so they are better than commercially prepared ones. They also have eggs, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, etc. And bacon on the day we were there. We are staying at a Hampton Inn today, and it's not as nice. My wife prefers Country Inns, but she really liked this place. If we come back this way, we will definitely stay again.
"Smart, clean and good facilities "
We stopped overnight on a road trip and were very happy with this hotel. It's hard by the interstate and a short drive from downtown. The rooms are nice, bathrooms modern and the fitness room is pretty good for a hotel. Breakfast had a wide variety of options too. For the price of $100 I thought this was a good value hotel.
"3 Strikes Against It"
This hotel was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good (eggs, pancakes, potatoes, yogurt, milk, juice). I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again, however, there were three things that prevent me from giving this hotel a 5 rating. First, the pool was closed. We had been telling our child the entire LONG drive to get to Winslow that we would be able to swim. Apparently, a child had pooped in the pool and they had put extra chlorine (I think?) into the pool so it was off limits. This obviously wasn't the hotel's fault, but I know that with community pools the pool doesn't close for the rest of the day if it gets pooped in. Second, we were put into a room with only a shower. I don't know if there were bathtubs available, but when traveling with small children, showers don't really work as well. Especially with my child who hates getting her hair wet. Baths are hard enough. However, if I were traveling with just my husband this would not have been a problem at all. Third, there was only ONE CRIB on site. This is crazy to me. I understand hotels having a limited number of cribs, but ONE? Because of this, I was forced to make a bed on the floor for my child. This was frustrating. She was fine and obviously won't remember it, but I was just shocked there weren't more than one available. I think this hotel would be great for business and couples, but less so for families. Still, Best Western offers quality hotels and I recommend this one in Winslow.
"Great hotel!"
We are on a 3 week tour of the US. This hotel far exceeds our expectations. The lobby is clean and fresh with up to date decor. The room is perfect. Very up to date. The staff is polite and helpful. Such a welcome relief after 12 hours in the car.
"Excellent, clean hotel, great value"
This Best Western Plus seems to be brand new. It is very close to the interstate and a couple of miles from the center of Winslow. Easy to get to, excellent, quick check-in, flawless, clean room that we emerged well rested from, and a great shower. It was quiet, slightly opulent for the price. I heartily recommend this place. The room came with a microwave and a fridge. This was a great value and was by far the best hotel that we stayed during the first week of our vacation. It had an enclosed swimming area that we did not use. But it really looked nice. The free breakfast was one of the better we have seen.
"Nice Hotel on the Outskirts of Town"
Very nice hotel located on the outskirts of Winslow. The woman who checked us in was exceptionally helpful. She gave us a map of Winslow and a list of restaurants and pointed out which ones were open on a Sunday. Nice clean room, good breakfast in the morning.
"Good choice for accessing nearby National Parks"
We stayed here while visiting National Park sites that were day trips from Winslow. The hotel is clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. We liked that we could choose the level of maid service since we stayed more than one night. It has a quiet location yet is close to the Interstate. Negatives are that dinner is a drive into town. The tub/shower did not have a grab bar. There were no waffles. Tight corners make using the luggage cart a real challenge. On balance, we would definitely stay here again.
"Unexpectedly Good Stay"
You never know what you're going to get when traveling the somewhat rural Southwest. And there often are not better options for 100s of miles. This Best Western Plus was an unexpected surprise -- it is extremely clean, the rooms are fairly modern (although not completely) and my overall stay was very good. While it is extremely good, it's not perfect. It's close to I-40, and rooms facing the freeway hear the steady stream of traffic. It's not overwhelming, but it's there. And sound carries from room to room. The staff is very friendly, but the check-in process was painfully slow. The breakfast was decent for a mid-level hotel, but the sitting space is extremely cramped. A parting comment: This has been the best night's sleep I've had during a 7-day drive across the country.
"Perfect stop for our trip"
We were on a multigenerational trip, with my mother, aunt and daughter visiting the southwest. Winslow was our third night. Hotel is new, and we stayed in their suite, which was very nice. The extra room gave us a buffer from exterior noise, plus a bit of space to stretch out without having to sit on a bed. The surrounding area around the hotel was a bit desolate, but the hotel and staff were nice and clean.
"Was the best option available for us in Winslow"
The staff was very helpful on many fronts for us (we were staying there a couple nights due to needing to watch some health issues and be near a hospital). The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.

I hope you made it to your destination in good spirits and health. It's been our pleasure to serve you. If you're ever in the area again, please stop by and say hello!
"Best place to stay at in Winslow"
Very nice Hotel, staff is very nice and helpful. Right off I-40. Rooms was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good a lot of choices. Swimming pool indoor was nice due to the wind blowing 25 to 50 mph. The kids really enjoyed it.

Thank you for your feedback, your business is greatly appreciated. Please come and stay with us again if you find yourself in our area. Safe travels toward your destination.
"Another Nice Night n Winslow"
This is a newer hotel in Winslow, and it shows. Very neat and clean. Room was excellent. I'm not sure about the new style of shower without a door. Breakfast was good. Staff attentive. Parking adequate. Close to the interstate.
Daphne C, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Mr. Charlie, Thank you for your feedback, its greatly appreciated. The hotel was built in 1998, we just recently finish with a total revamp of the hotel, form top to bottom, its been a challenge, but the outcome is fantastic. Thank you again for your businesss, safe travels toward your destination.
"Fantastic"
We really were pleasanrly surprised. The room and whole property were sparkling clean. The suite was spacious. We loved the free breakfast. Leslie, who does the breakfast, took time and care in making sure the food was cooked very well. Big selection and everything tasted good. We will be back! Highly recommended. Attached is a picture of the sitting room part of the suite.
"Very Pleased"
Very pleased with our stay at Winslow. We called ahead and spoke with a lovely young lady at the front desk that got us all set for check in. We arrive, check in was fast. She gave us a nice quiet room. We were very tired and we had a wonderful restful nights sleep. The room was clean, the linens smelled fresh. The bathroom was nicely laid out. Would recommend this BW to anyone.
"2nd Visit, Stand on the Corner"
Pros: Staff was nice, indoor heated pool, fridge n room, shower nice, pillows so-so, coffee pot Cons: Breakfast so-so, ask 4/ side away from highway, was surprised price so high 4/ this time of year (Apr)
"Excellent accommodations in remote AZ"
Good value with complete, well prepared breakfast included. Easy access to AZ I-40 and convenient basic needs shopping. Pool and exercise room are available. Friendly staff for making reservations and providing help during the stay.
"Clean and comfortable"
A lovely clean room with comfy beds. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, hot or cold. This hotel very convenient for motorway and our onward journey to the petrified forest. Standing on the corner is a stones throw away.
"Excellent staff and rooms"
Excellent staff and rooms. Very comfortable. Good breakfast. Will stay again when in the area. Check-in was fast and efficient. Parking close to room and convenient. Quiet room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good and service excellent.
"This is a real gem."
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean. We were a little nervous when we found our roomed face the freeway but we didn't hear any traffic noise. The breakfast was great. There were plenty of choices including eggs, bacon and fresh fruit. No waffle maker but Grandson was intrigued with the pancake machine. That was a first for us. Leslie, the lady handling the breakfast room was wonderful. She was helpful, friendly and kept up with everything. Every person we saw at the desk had a friendly hello as we went by. If you look at this hotel on google earth you may be frightened away. It is in the middle of nowhere. It is right off the freeway so worked for us. One day we headed west to the meteor crater and the next day east to Petrified Forest National Park. Indoor swimming pool looked nice and clean but we didn't get a chance to use it. Very close to downtown Winslow.
"Winslow Az - Standing on the corner"
Great place to stay when visiting Winslow. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and willing to direct us to places to eat and visit during our stay. Pool on site, we didn't use it but it looked wonderful. Breakfast was a hit, plenty to eat and nice area to sit. We will definitely return when in the area again.
""Corner of Winslow AZ""
My husband and I just completed a road trip to San Diego. We decided to make a stop in Winslow, AZ to "stand on the corner of Winslow, AZ." What a cute little town! We were unable to get a room at the La Posada hotel, so we chose the Best Western Plus. Boy, were we glad we did!! From the minute we arrived we were treated to excellent customer service. Julie, at the front desk helped us receive our Best Western points, and even researched the fact that we had two accounts AND told us how to merge all our points into one account. Hand written directions with account numbers!! The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, but the breakfast! WOW! The breakfast was managed by Leslie who made sure everything was filled and immaculate. The selection of breakfast items was huge. There was oatmeal with toppings (raisins, brown sugar, chocolate chips. . .) a yogurt machine that dispensed yogurt and many additions available (granola, chocolate chips, fruit . . ), a pancake machine that makes 2 pancakes at a time with an assortment of syrups, fresh fruit (honeydew and cantaloupe), scrambled eggs and bacon with salsa, cheese, and hot sauce, biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, assorted juices, breads, bagels . . . All for $105!!Excellent hotel!!
"Nice indoor pool"
This hotel is a real mix. Some good bits and some not so good. Good - nice indoor pool, good breakfast (only until 9am mid week though) and this is why I have scored it a 4 Bad- window didn't seem to seal very well so on a windy night you could hear the wind whistling through. Also the door of the room rattled at times so there must have been a lot of wind coming in. We turned the air con on to try and mask the noise but this seemed to have a funny rattle to it. It may be as a result of the particularly windy night but the windowsill seems to be very dusty as well. The blackout blinds do not draw back so I'm not sure if this area is checked by the housekeeping team. You are a bit in the middle of no where here but there is a Mexican restaurant and a basic gas station in walking distance. The shop part of this was closed by 9pm. Only a few miles into Wilmslow though so handy to visit Standin on a corner.
"1st Day Back"
Not easy to get to at night, but is just off the Interstate. Friendly check in, hard to understand the individual. Rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast was OK. Everything was hot and prepared well. Would stay here again.
"Quick atop"
We were really pleased to have booked our room here as we were just needing a place for the night. It was full but we had reservations and glad we did. After a long day, the spacious and clean room was just what we needed. Updated decor and a friendly welcome greeted us. We didn't use the pool. Loved the king size bed and bathroom was nice in size.
"Fine Hotel for a Stopover or Multi-Day Stay"
As Best Westerns go - they can be hit or miss - this one is most definitely in the hit category. Reviews here are spot on and our experience here was no different - clean, modern rooms, fantastic breakfast and a surprisingly quiet hotel. Special shout-out to the wonderful, warm lady who is the breakfast host, cannot recall her name but she's a delight and really enhanced the whole experience each morning. Requested and received a top floor (2nd floor) room facing back of the hotel which overlooks a vast empty field and it was completely quiet. Hotel is set back a ways from I-40. Walls/floors seemed thin so top floor is the way to go if you're a light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again when in the area or passing through.
"Great staff, great breakfast, good location for Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert"
This hotel is on the outskirts of Winslow and perhaps somewhat isolated although gas and a Denny's restaurant are nearby. It's a good location for visiting Meteor Crater, the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest and perhaps even a day excursion to Flagstaff. Winslow has fallen on hard times over the years due to changes in the railroad business, the decline of passenger rail traffic, and I-40 causing traffic to bypass the town rather than passing through on route 66. As a result, the town today is rather sad looking except for a small area near the famous "standing on the corner" park. The Best Western is perhaps showing just a bit of wear and tear but our room was certainly clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was several notches beyond what one normally expects from an included hotel breakfast. The biscuits were great and even the hot items (scrambled eggs, sausage) were quite good. The breakfast attendant like the rest of the staff we encountered were warm, welcoming, and helpful. I accidentally dropped my camera battery through the air vent of the heating/AC unit when we were ready to check out but the maintenance man very quickly and cheerfully retrieved it for me. I'm happy to recommend a stay in this hotel if you're in the area.
"The BEST hotel on our trip from California to Texas and back"
This was the first time taking a trip ( Thanks to AGENT ORANGE) that I needed to have accessible lodging. We stayed in Double Tree, Sheraton and two Best Western Plus. I must say BY FAR if you need an accessible room in Winslow Arizona, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! The shower is a "roll in" if you need it, there is a shower chair a closet that a wheelchair can roll into and a sitting chair and ottoman that slant for easy entry. Front desk helpful and a free breakfast to boot!
"Nice place to stay"
This hotel was easy to find, was very clean and had a modern updated bathroom. the service was very nice and the breakfast lady was very nice and helpful. You won't find a better value than this hotel.

ChrisFromIowa, Thank you for filling out a review for Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, it most appreciated. I am happy you enjoyed your stay. Leslie i sour breakfast host she has been with us for years, we are very blessed and fortunate to have her. She is dedicated and enjoys what she does, and it shows. If your ever in the area again please stop by and say hello, we'll even have a room waiting for you. :-)
"Great renovations"
This location was kind of off the freeway and easy to get to not a lot around it but beautiful rooms and great value this was a quiet night sleep and a good breakfast this room was good for older people the shower made a mess because of the fancy door or not door.
"Great place"
At first we drove up and no one was there. Kind of scared us going in. Very nice place, room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. Would for sure go there again.
"HORRIBLE"
The internet rate is a Lie. It's just to make u come then they will try to make u paye double if u havent reserved on internet in front of them ... The Wifi is not real good ... And the service for the morning Break fast is HORRIBLE she pick up think in front of us when we where gonna eat. It's horrible to be looked like a prisoner at the morning we re here for Chill and have nice holidays not to run to have a break fast before 9. I DO NOT RECOMMAND THAT HOTEL !!??!
Mark R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, my apologies to you. I am perplexed on your comments on the internet rate. We promote rates that are better than the internet rates. I am at a disadvantage because it is impossible from your comments and name above to look up the date in which you stayed here. If I had that information, I could track your stay with us. We normally excel with our level of service at our breakfast. My apologies to you for not doing so. From what I can tell in your comments, you were upset at having to get up for breakfast before breakfast closed at 9. Our instructions to our breakfast staff is to accommodate as best as possible any guests who arrive just before or after the close of our breakfast. If we did not do so with you, my apologies.
"Wonderful"
First if you are not using. The Best Western rewards, you should.. I have tried to use other rewards programs, they always. Have restrictions. I travel often so ease and comfort mean a lot. Best Western offers both.. We love this company and love how we are cared for.
"Excellent!"
We stayed on New Year's Eve, on an eight day road trip. This was the nicest Best Western of our trip. Many places had much higher prices for New Year's Eve, but this one was a good rate and perfect place to stay. Check in clerk gave very good and friendly directions to restaurants. Location is very good, easy off and on the Interstate. Definitely will keep on our "to Stay" list.
"Perfect example of how a BestWestern Plus should be!"
We were passing through on our way west on I-40 and needed a good place to stop in Arizona. After looking at hotels both east and west of Winslow, this one stood out as being a great choice. The inside and outside of the property appear to be very new and currently styled. The room was exactly how we wanted, and the price for very good. The breakfast was very neat, orderly, and easy to work with. My only wish is that there were more healthy options available. It was Standard American Diet, which is what most people seem to want. I did get the yogurt + granola option, and that was appreciated. The breakfast lady was very kind, and was doing a great job. Overall very pleased with the hotel, and would definitely stay there again. In case you didn't know, Winslow Arizona is the home of the Meteor Crater, which is about a 30 minute drive to the west, and a highly recommended stop if you are in to that kind of thing.
"Employees make the difference!"
I have been staying at the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn while traveling since 2009. The facility is always well-cared for and updated in a timely manner. What I appreciate most is that long-term employees who work there. I am known by name when I stay and am spoiled beyond reason, especially by Kristy at the front desk and Leslie's great full-breakfasts! Their customer service is nothing less than fantastic!
"Good layover from cross-country drive"
My family and I stopped here on Dec 30 to rest during our two-day road trip. We decided to stay in Winslow instead of Flagstaff because we needed a suite and most rooms were higher priced in Flagstaff. The hotel was very easy to locate from I-40 and the rate was great (we got a good AAA deal booking a suite). The room was clean and heater was not loud. The TV channel selection is a bit limited but the remotes were presented very nice and clean. They portable crib worked well (for our 1 yr old) and the pullout sofa bed was clean and decent (for our 4 yr old). Breakfast selection was good, but the pancake maker was very sporadic and seating was a bit tight and small. All in all, this place gave us a good night rest, good breakfast, good front desk check in and out, and fair price.
"Quiet and Clean. Great Breakfast"
This hotel was really a nice place. Breakfast and breakfast staff was excellent. Good value for the $. Comfortable beds and the extra room in the suite was nice. Quiet but well off the beaten path. Don't forget to go "stand on the corner" in Winslow, Arizona!
"Great hotel "
A very nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. Heated pool was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful. I recommend everyone to stop and stay at this hotel, desk clerk was very nice and helpful, she even ran to different floors looking for a luggage cart for us.
"BW -Winslow,AZ"
Good value and very convenient off the Interstate. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices for all members of the family. Safe and secure .Clean quiet rooms at a value price. Adequate parking in a lighted lot.
"Pleasant stay"
The staff at Winslow inn was very helpful and friendly. They opened the gym for my mother and I two hours early. The breakfast was good. It consisted of eggs, cereal, sausage, coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt, waffles, pancakes and associates breads. The hotel is clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is big.
"Nice place"
Hotel is clean and quiet. I always stay here while in Winslow. Its convenient and close to other places. Right off freeway and about 2 miles from shopping. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Its always clean and quiet
"Very nice hotel with a great shower"
We enjoyed our night at this BW. The staff was great. We found the room to be decorated beautifully. We loved the art work in the room. The breakfast was good, the breakfast lady. It was just a very comfortable hotel to stay at.
"Good Hotel in Winslow"
We started in Winslow a couple of days before thanksgiving. In looking at all of the hotels in Winslow, this seemed like the cream of the crop and it didn't disappoint. The children lived the pool. There was plenty of parking for the RV and it is just off i40. The hotel is about two miles away from the Walmart and the restaurants, but the distance is negligible.
"Reasonably priced just off of I40"
I booked a suite when I stayed, having the extra room was nice to be able to spread out. Everything was clean and in working order. The shower setup is a little odd as there is no curtain or door on the far half of the walk in shower so if you don't put a towel down when you shower the floor can get a little wet. The hotel has an indoor pool and indicators that they used to have a hot tub or plans to put one in. The breakfast in the morning is a very nice touch, they have things for every sort of diet. The staff was very friendly and always greeted us when we came in. The hotel is at the far east side of Winslow and you will need to drive to get anywhere in town or if you just feel like standing on a corner. There isn't much else there off of 40 where the hotel is so its pretty hard to miss.
"Good stop on the road"
We've been here before and would stay again. Convenient, clean, quiet, efficient. Breakfast is ok - typical for the style of hotel and location. Friendly staff. Spacious room. The Homolovi site is nearby and worth a visit.
"Small Town Suprise!"
VERY clean hotel and rooms, kind and helpful staff, full breakfast, inside heated pool, workout room, and the cleanest bathroom I have had in a hotel in a long time.... I pulled off the road after 12 hours drive in a small town and never expected to find such high quality service and room!

"Winslow Az Hotel"
The location was good, next to a restaurant and freeway. Very clean and updated. Great breakfast, Pancake & yogurt machine, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and rolls etc. Very updated, comfortable bed, great staff, pet friendly, relaxing foyer, good snack bar, nice pool,
"Good One Night's Stay at the Best Western, Winslow, Arizona"
We stayed for one night at the Best Western. We had a room on the 2nd floor. The washer/dryer is on that floor too. There is an elevator to get to the 2nd floor. Our room was large and clean. The kind size bed was comfortable. The desk was nice; Internet speed was good Flat screen TV had a good picture. The included breakfast in the morning was good. There is a nice lobby area. For getting go the Best Western, it is easy on/off access to I-40. Its a nice Best Western. Staff was nice. Parking is free. There is parking on both sides of the hotel.
Mark R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing our hotel and taking time to comment on your stay with us. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Very nice experience."
Room was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. Facility appears new. Everything was in great condition. Hotel is located out of town and hard to see from the highway. Nothing is within walking distance. Great place to stay if visiting surrounding attractions.
"Winslow, AZ Best Western"
An excellent stay for a wheelchair-bound individual. I would stay there again, if I am ever in the area. The roll-in shower was the best designed I have experienced in my travels to date. The room was spacious and the price was right.
"Gem in the desert."
Very restful and quiet place to stay. Young lady night manager very pleasant, kind and helpful. She patiently satisfied all my wife's questions. Spacious and clean room. Lady who does the breakfasts in mornings really cares about her food and presentation. Plenty of parking and far enough off I-40 to avoid noise.
"clean and basic room for a nights rest"
If you are staying here chances are it is but a nights rest during a long desert crossing as it was in our case. This place sits mostly by itself and covered all the basics. Clean and friendly staff. Mostly quiet.
"Nice hotel"
Nice place, room big, bed comfortable. Good breakfast. This has well lit parking but the road from freeway to hotel is very dark. Really dark. Dont be alarmed, property is well lit, just drive slowly and carefully to the hotel itself. Pleasant staff. Quiet.
"Clean, comfortable and quiet."
Upon check-in the Front desk clerk greeted us in a friendly and professional manner. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only issue was upon entering the room, the smell of sewer gas was in the air. Once we put the AC on the smell dissipated, but returned when the AC kicked off. Breakfast was included with our stay. Would probably stay again if in the area.
Mark R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your comments. Regarding the smell you experienced, it could very well be the fertilizer from the Feed Store across the street. We have experienced that smell on a few occasions. My apologies for the smell. Best wishes and safe travels.
"PLEASANTLY SURPRISED"
Was very happy with this hotel. Did not expect it. It was very clean, rooms very nice, breakfast was varied and staff helpful. Not far off the freeway. Our room faced the desert so it was very quiet. Small indoor pool. It's an older hotel BUT recently revamped. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was NOT noisy. A nice find for sure.
"Just OK"
We stayed here for the first time because our first choice, La Posada, was completely booked. My rating of "average" would be a bit higher but doesn't reach "very good." The front desk clerk was new and took a long time to check us in. She had to call a supervisor to ask directions. When I tried to use a Best Western travel voucher for $50, she said she didn't have the password to log in to credit it. It was done the next morning, but it didn't leave me with a sense that the place was well managed. The bed in our room was way too firm for my taste. When I mentioned that when leaving, the morning clerk told me that I could have requested a softer mattress. Well, that's a bit of information that was certainly too late. Why wouldn't they have mentioned those choices when we checked in? The motel was not full (based on the parking lot). We were assigned room number 229 which was adjacent to the guest laundry. The dryer was going in the middle of the night with something metal inside and the sound of the banging kept me up (having trouble sleeping on the hard bed in the first place!) The air conditioner in the room also had weird grinding noises just enough to also interfere with my restful sleep. The building seems new and the furnishings are in good condition and pleasant. The motel is clean and modern. The breakfast room is bright and cheery and the items are consistent with that provided by most motels of this price point. Be aware that this property is on the extreme eastern outskirts of Winslow with only truck stops nearby. For my money, the slightly more expensive La Posada is a better deal as it is a historic property (former Harvey House) with a great restaurant (The Turquoise Room) right there in the hotel. I won't be staying in the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn the next time I'm in town.
Mark R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your constructive comments. My apologies for the lengthy check in as well as the lack of knowledge you were exposed to. While your comments on our location are accurate, there are significant numbers of guests who prefer our location. Each person is different and we will always respect each persons opinion regarding being in town or the outskirts. Best wishes to you and safe travels.
"Excellent service, clean and comfortable!"
Great hotel on route I-40. As a single women, I felt safe, secure and slept great! That is a true test. Staff was helpful, room was in excellent condition and very clean. A top hotel on route I-40! Breakfast was well presented and more than anyone might want! Your choice of just about everything. Fresh fruit, lots of cereal, eggs, sausage, pancakes, plenty of juice, coffee, milk and tea!

"m janiss"
It is always a pleasure to stay at the Best Western in Winslow because the staff is very helpful and respectful. They all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The room are clean. The price is fair. That is why I stay at the Best Western every three to four months.
"Nice"
Nice place to stay in the Winslow area- very convenient for trips to Petrified forest etc. I find Best Western Plus to generally be very good value for the high quality and this hotel is no exception. Nice décor, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, convenient location.

"Accommodating"
Very helpful and accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast, convenient fitness room and indoor heated pool. The rooms were clean, and comfortable. I wish I could've stayed here longer but sadly we only stayed for a couple hours. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in the area.
"Nice new hotel close to I40!"
The hotel is new and everything is new and beautiful! Room was clean and spacious. Lobby is nicely decorated and the front desk staff is so friendly! We were too tired to try the heated pool. After looking at what was available we felt this was the best choice and luckily we were right!
"Great rest"
All our needs were covered, arrived late so fast out to eat Then back for a good nights sleep New and clean Check in and out was fast and easy Breakfast was good and got us going the next day Far enough off hiway so no noise
"Good stay"
Very good and clean hotel with very nice staff at the front desk and the breakfast area also. My daughter wanted to swim after arriving around 9 pm, and the lady opened the swimming pool area. A/C at the end of the hall was noisy.
"Best Western Winslow Inn is the BEST"
Our experience at the Best Western in Winslow was very good in all respects. Staff was very courteous and professional. Special recognition to the lady responsible for the breakfast. She is a very attentive, friendly individual who provides exceptional customer service. We used the hotel for our exploration of Winslow and surrounding area including the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National Park and Metero Crater. We highly recommend this location.
"Sleeping in Winslow Az"
If you have to stay in Winslow then this is an ok spot. Clean, nice staff, parking ok, and breakfast was passable. We usually stay in Holbrook but they were full so tried here. This is much better then I expected. Good for a one night stay. We had a quiet room didn't notice noise from outside. Check in and out went quickly and efficiently. Probably would stay here again if I cant stay in Holbrook. They do need to check cleaning of rooms no big deal but lamps and ledges and vent very dusty.
"Reviews were spot on"
After driving 14 hours, we checked into this place based on the many positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable, room clean, quiet , welcoming. Staff attentive. Felt safe. Good parking. Breakfast was good. The breakfast area was small and crowded so we ended up sitting in the lobby and eating which was fine. Right off interstate which I liked. Would stay here again.
"Stay Here After Standing on THE Corner"
We've stayed at other BW Hotels that were wonderful experiences (Kingman, AZ for example) but the Winslow facility was exceptional. Brand new, beautiful decor, loved the walk-in shower! Breakfast was delicious. Didn't have time to use the indoor pool but will do so on our next stay. Not to slight the employees, they were professional, positive and welcoming. Road weary travellers on the often times boring I-40 will do themselves a favor by staying at this hotel. We'll stay here anytime we are in the Winslow area.

"Nice Stay in Winslow"
Staff at check-in and check-out were very professional, had ready smiles, and were helpful with our questions. The property is very neat and well taken care of, even though it sits on the edge of town. I would definitely stay here again.

"Outstanding on the corner"
We were part of a group stopping in Winslow, AZ for the night. Checkin was efficient. The room was neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet. Breakfast was ready earlier than normal because our group had an early start time. Great value for travelers!

We enjoyed hosting you and your group for your brief time in Winslow. We look forward to seeing you again. Best wishes and safe travels
"Winslow 2017"
Nice hotel but the mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good and the people fixing the food were awesome. The lobby people were very accommodating and friendly. It is a very nice hotel if they just had more comfortable mattresses. We have stayed here in the past and always have enjoyed it.
"On the corner in Winslow Arizona"
This had to be the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed. There was a nice pool although I did not have my swimming suit with me or I would have taken a plunge. Breakfast bar was nice. Clean rooms and hallways.
"Fantastic find!"
The hotel was very clean, the staff were super friendly and the free breakfast was yummy! We did not have a reservation and were very pleased with this find. We highly recommend this Best Western Plus.
"BW Winslow"
Always a great stay at any Best Western! Love, love, love the beds! They are so comfy! They are better than at home. Always friendly service! Nice breakfast. Clean and neat rooms with nice amenities in bathroom
"Best place to stay for the price in Winslow!"
We love this hotel and are so glad to stay there twice a year when we come for volunteer work on the Navajo reservation. It is always clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms have been refurbished and it is the place to stay in Winslow! It is well located, near the highway but not close enough to hear the road noise. It is close to Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Homalovi ruins. It feels safe and secure. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. The rooms are not exactly sound proof as my friend could hear me talking on the phone in the next room. I could not hear her, however. I was very satisfied with my room.
"Odd things"
The staff was great. Building and room was fine. But: there wasn't a microwave. Ok not really a big deal. But no hand towels or wash cloths. We just found that odd. No we didn't ask for them. It's a little late when you are standing naked in the bathroom looking them. Everything else was up to par. Just bring a wash cloth.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your comments. My apologies to you for no hand towels or wash cloths. We have plenty in stock here so I am perplexed how we could have missed this. All of our rooms have refrigerators but they do not have microwaves. We do have microwaves in our public areas on each of our floors. Best wishes to you and safe travels.
"Vacation stay"
Do not have a long history with BW. The BW+ hotels always come through. This one was the best so far. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Close enough to the expressway to be convenient and far enough away to be quiet. The only negative i can think of is that the elevator is smallish and if you use the luggage cart, it requires you to think it through the passageway to/from the elevator. If you can call that a negative.
"Driving Trip"
Very nice and convenient hotel for an overnight stay. Close to the freeway and the breakfast was great. Picked this city in order to see the "Winslow Corner"! It was a bucket list item for my husband:)
"Stay in Winslow, AZ"
Good and friendly hotel for one or more nights. Winslow is a must if you are an Eagle fan. It is a great stop off when en-route to the phoenix area or the Albuquerque area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful if you need travel advice.
"One night in Windlow"
I've wanted to come to Winsliw for a long time and finally got the chance to! We choose Best Western and am VERY glad we did. What a NICE place! It had EVERYTHING we needed. A place to do laundry, a workout room, nice comfortable beds, etc. The breakfast was better than normal, it was all GOOD.
"Got a winner here"
Excellent Best Western. Clean, Large bathroom sink area, great shower head. Beds comfortable. Desks with plugs for laptop and phones. Nice flat TV. Closet with huge mirror. Quiet sleeping. All around just right. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit (not often seen), eggs, sausage, pancakes, breads, yogurt machine, cereal. They even had green tea which I like. Not too many tables to eat at though. Had to stand up for a while.
"Haven in Winslow"
This hotel is situated just outside Winslow and is easily accessed from the I40 which is close by. We had a room at tha back of the hotel which was very quiet but I can imagine that the traffic on the I40 can be heard from rooms at the front.....lot of wagons on this road night and day! We were welcomed by the receptionist who allocated us the rooms which we requested and quickly gave us our keys. Our room was a good size with a king bed and plenty of space. The decor was brown and beige which seems very common in American chain hotels but was modern and in good condition. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. All the usual facilities such as AC a fridge, tv, hair drier and coffee making unit were provide but there wasn't a microwave which was a pity because it was Sunday and Winslow was shut......and I mean shut!! The hotel has neither a bar nor a restaurant. When open there is a Mexican restaurant across the parking lot and a Denny's about 1/2 mile away otherwise it's a trip to town where I guess there are other eating places. The bathroom was spacious and very clean with the usual towels, toiletries etc and comprised bath/shower and toilet.....note some rooms have only a shower! There is a decent indoor pool, good car parking and a free breakfast is provided.
"A resting place after a long days drive."
We liked this unit, it is fairly new and we were helped a lot by the staff. Our only regret is the bed in our room was hard and uncomfortable. I used the pool but it was very cold (unheated). The parking lot entrance was muddy on our arrival.
"Everything @ this hotel was great!"
We liked the ease of finding the hotel. Front desk lady was very friendly and made for a pleasant check in. Rooms were very clean and updated. Nice amenities. Internet worked great. Breakfast was SUPER. Had an automatic pancake machine, never saw one of those before. Topnotch!
"jacquita e"
We stayed here a few nights ago. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff amazing. There is a little hole in the wall called Mi Pueblo that served up the best chilis I have ever ate right across the street.
"Best Western Winslow Arizona"
Excellent place to stay. Right off I-40, great breakfast and caring staff. Have stayed in that hotel several times and it is always the same. Clean, caring staff, close to freeway, gas available on the other side of the freeway at a pilot. Several eating establishments close by which all that we have tried have had excellent food and service. Nice quiet rest stop after travelling all day. Would say that you would miss out if you didn't take advantage of this stop within a short distance of Flagstaff, Arizona.
"Clean and convenient"
We had a nice stay in Winslow and even stood on the corner. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was even nicer than the one I have at home. Breakfast was hot and good. They opened early for the construction and road crews, and I jumped right in being an early riser myself. I would highly recommend this particular hotel and Best Western overall.
"Superb hotel!"
Staff was absolutely amazing! Julie at the front desk was so funny and helpful. Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond. Rooms are nice sized, super clean, beds are comfy, internet is fairly good too!
"Nice place"
Our one night stay was very nice. The "real" scrambled eggs and the country gravy was excellent! The shower was a little weird with only half a door, but worked well. I would definitely recommend staying here again!
"Awesome! "
Came in at 10:30pm coming from the Grand Canyon and the front counter was really nice about our late arrival. Comfy beds, clean room, and great breakfast (bagels, pancakes, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, cereals)!

On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments. We look forward to seeing you again. Best wishes and safe travels
"Amazing!"
Came in at 9pm on a holiday weekend Saturday night and really needed a room. Kristy at the front desk was wonderful. She found us a beautiful comfortable room with a great bed, told us where we could order food and get a discount and was so welcoming and friendly. My wife has used this hotel and room as the new standard of excellence we should stay at.
"A great nights sleep"
Tired from a long drive on Route 66 so we stopped at midnight at the BW. Just a wonderful although quick stay. Room felt just like new. It was clean, modern and had a comfortable bed. Perfect for a rest from the highway. A nice pool and a laundry room are a definite plus.

Thank you for your comments. we look forward to seeing you again. Best wishes
"Relaxing"
Staff very attentive and friendly. Buffet breakfast always fresh looking and tasting. Hotel very clean and well maintained. The adjacent fields not very aesthetic but once you are in the hotel everything clean and sharp We will definitely come back.

"Relaxing highway break for weary Route 66 travellers"
Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with all we needed for an overnight rest while driving Route 66. Welcoming and friendly staff, our room was on ground level and a short walk from the reception, ice machine was provided to replenish our coolers for the next day of travel, a cooked breakfast was provided which set us up well for the day ahead and an interior swimming pool was well appreciated. Parking on site too. The only thing which could be improved was having a quality diner or restaurant within walking distance. The location is just off the highway on the outskirts of town. We bought cold meat and salad from a Walmart and ate in our room because after a day on the road we just didn't want to do any more driving.
"most comfortable beds ever!"
Best night sleep in a long time, and have stayed at many hotels this last year. It was nice they had scrambled eggs for breakfast instead of those pre-cooked eggs during our stay. The room was very nice. Only 1 thing missing was a microwave. Bathroom had a really nice walk in shower.
"Great Stay Not Dissipointed"
The only area of improvement had to do with the mixed fresh fruit that was served. (Cannelop, muskmelon, pineapple, etc,). It tasted a bit soured. Like bagged fresh fruit can get if kept too long or set out too long. I'm not a fan of bagged fresh fruit for this reason. It just doesn't taste right to me. It is extra work to Cut up fresh fruit when serving large quantities. But the results are that people eat what you set out and will not be wasted.
"Great value, nice place, very nice people and breakfast"
We had a quiet and cool night's sleep in a very comfortable room. The evening and morning desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and had a wide variety of stuff, including hot items; the pancake machine and Nutella packets were a hit with the kids. If we need a place to stay in Winslow again, we'll stay here!
"Home away from home."
Clean, comfortable, I would say the best part was at breakfast. The lady working it made you feel at home. Right off the inner state. I have stayed at the others in town and this is way better. You all need to try it.
"Nice"
Kind of in the middle of nowhere. However, the hotel was great. It was very clean, modern, and staff was good. The breakfast was great as far as free hotel breakfasts go. Only issue was a 2:00 am call to ask if our kids were being noisy, and it was only the two of us traveling.
"Pleasant Stay"
Have no complaints. Clean place, nice people. Good value. Would stay here again. First time at a Best Western in quite a while and thought we would try it and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.
"Great place to stay in Winslow"
We stayed for one night. We had hoped for availability at La Posada, but it was sold out. This hotel was a good alternate option - the property is kept very clean. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most chain hotels because of the variety of food available.
"FIve Star Service"
Another great visit and the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn! My wife and I have been staying at the property since 2010. The Inn is constantly upgraded and seems fresh and new with each visit. The staff (many who still work there since our first visit) are always courteous, amiable, and professional. The full breakfast offered is a great value with a myriad of choices. It rivals what a restaurant offers. Leslie runs "her" breakfast room with the utmost care and cheerfulness. The Best Western Plus Winslow Inn is rated by the industry as a three star hotel, but it receives five stars in my book!
"Good overnight stop"
King room was large, clean, modern. It had a comfortable bed, refrigerator and desk. The breakfast was okay. We missed having waffles, pancakes are not a good substitute, so disappointed. Otherwise good overnight stay.
"Great Place to Stay"
Excellent Inn, great staff, very helpful during our recent stay due to RV repairs - very accommodating of our situation . From phone conversation to make reservation to check out, all staff were understanding and helpful during our stay. They felt like family when we left.
"Standing on the corner of Winslow Az."
We stopped here enroute to Colorado, after a long day driving sure was glad to get here everything was fine and we had no problems except the pool was not heated (that water was cold) BTW that was NOT an issue, However Hotel was typical of B/W which is why I stay there highly recommend it , we did call ahead to make sure we could get a ground floor room which made life easier has a side note one should go the couple to the Standing on the Corner Park just because
"Good Off-Highway Visit"
We enjoyed our one-night stay here. We thought the mattress was nice and firm, the way we like it. Each member of the staff seemed caring and helpful. We were looking for a hotel a couple hours south of Canyon de Chelly and off of I-40 and this was a good choice. Happy with fruit offerings at Breakfast.
"Great staff and great place"
This hotel is located in Winslow, little town crossed by the mythical Route 66 and about 1 hour far from Petrified Forest NP. Property is very nice with a brand new decor. We stayed in a very large comfortable room fully equipped with coffee machine and fridge. Also the bathroom was very large, that's unusual for a BW. Hotel has also an indoor pool that we didn't try. Free hot continental breakfast according to BW standards. All staff was very polite especially Mr Alondo at the front desk!
"Great stay"
We stopped here after our drive from NM. Good breakfast with the usual BW choices. It is in the older part of Winslow, but that was fine with us. It is located right off the highway, easy access to get back on.
"Relax at the corner of nostalgiab"
Located in quaint town with points of interest to visit a 9-11 memorial, route 66, standing on the corner park ... the hotel breakfast was fresh, comfortable room and considerate staff. Sits Close to I-40/route 66 but far enough away you don't hear the highway noise. Recommend this stop.
"Not worth the price"
Nice enough but over priced. They have you because the other places are all 2 stars. When leaving, the Receptionist was flat with no smile. That in itself is disappointing. We won't stop there again...........
"A Nice Oasis from the Heat"
We stayed at this hotel during a very hot time in Arizona after visiting the Petrified Forest. It was a very nice place to stay, newly decorated with comfortable beds and a nice breakfast. We had two rooms and the staff made sure we had adjoining rooms even though they had to shift some room assignments around.
"Just OK"
At check in was informed there was no hot water (they emailed us about two hours before we checked in--while we were on the road). I don't hold too great a grudge because stuff happens but I can't praise the hotel either. Easy access to hotel from freeway but I bet all the hotels in Winslow are because it is a small town. Beds were good and the breakfast was solid. Our family liked the breakfast lady most when I asked them about our stay. Maybe I would stay again but I'd strongly consider just stopping in Flagstaff.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for taking time to comment on your stay with our hotel. My apologies to you for the lack of hot water. We made an effort to reach out to our guests and alert them to our lack of hot water. We did so after the realization that with our remote location, new parts would not be here for an additional 24 hours. It was our hope originally that the repair could be completed immediately with minimal impact to our guests. Our apologies again to all of our guests who experienced this.
"Extended stay over"
Well, let just say that the management will lie to get your money. They will not accommodate easy or special request such as a microwave/disability for short term stay overs.(I've stayed at different Best Westerns and they all have microwaves and have given me a disablity room.) I've asked numerous times for a disablity room and have been told those rooms are booked but when I check on line, I see that those rooms are available. I've done this twice and twice I'm told, the disability rooms are booked. I get the impression that this best Western is not too kind to stay overs. They hold out on putting fruits out until we leave for the day. Not very impressed with the management and the front desk staff.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, my apologies to our guest. I do not have the specifics regarding the guest attempt to get into a disability room. This is what I am aware of. June and July are our busiest months of the year and we fill every day. If I attempt to book one of our 3 disability rooms right now, I am able to do so for 2 days but I struggle to book a disability room for longer because of advance reservations in place. These advance reservations cannot be moved so if someone attempts to book longer than 2 nights, we are unable to do so. Again, I do not know the specifics and this guest did not speak to a member of management while this guest was here. Typically, advance reservations consist of only 1 night for a guest travelling through but in June when this occurred and we fill every day, it can be problematic to book and extended stay over guest for 1 of the 3 disability rooms. With respect to the fruit, we have our fruit available every day during our breakfast hours of 6am to 9am. There has been an occasion where we underestimated the fruit usage and may have ran out. That is a rare occasion. We do not hold back on fruit here. Our apologies to our guest.
"Great updates"
Best Western has really outdone themselves on the remodeling. The rooms are really beautiful and well-appointed. I'll never understand why so much money goes into the overall remodel only to put cheap, $5 toilet seats on. You can't even sit on the lid without it collapsing.
"Attention to Detail"
Access in easy, straight off the I-40S. Parking: Plenty with dedicated disabled bays. Reception: Efficient and pleasant. The business centre is one computer. No daily paper. Lifts: The property is two storeys high served by one lift and two flights of stairs. Corridors: From the lift it is rather narrow but once the main corridors are reached they are of a good width, all carpeted. The ice maker on the second floor was not working. On ground floor a microwave was sited by the ice maker for general use. Bedroom: A generally clean room and generally in good decorative repair. Two x Queen beds - very comfortable. Air-conditioning unit efficient and quiet, refrigerator, no microwave, coffee maker. No Holy Bible available in room. Clearly have problems with driven desert sand, considerable evidence around window frame internally. Bathroom: Good size, shower over bath, plenty of soft towels. Good range of toiletries, hair dryer. In this room the bath plug would not seal. Breakfast: Good range, good quality, Automatic pancake maker, bacon and scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy (beginning to become rarer), no waffle maker all served on/in plastic/cardboard using plastic cutlery. The problem was too few tables and chairs in a too small room leading to considerable congestion. Pool: Inside, small, just about warm with swipe card access. Some loungers. Towels available from Reception. For a BW Plus this one was a little disappointing.
"Really Nice & Convenient Hotel"
We were returning to Albuquerque after experiencing the Hopi Reservation's Summer Dance Festival – highlighting the mysterious Kachina dancers – and we stopped at the BEST WESTERN in Winslow, Arizona. The prices were quite reasonable, and the location was just perfect for our trip. After 2 days of 95-degree summer heat, our room had all the comforts we wanted – including very clean rooms, comfortable beds, strong showers, and really good hot (free!) breakfasts. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous, as was the attentive breakfast crew. This hotel is also convenient to several nice restaurants and facilities (e.g., gas stations) in Winslow. It's very quiet and safe – lots of families with children - despite being right off Highway 40. And, the laundromat is very convenient. Definitely highly recommended.
"Love my hometown Best Western"
Winslow is my hometown, I visit every year. I always stay at the Winslow Best Western. It is clean, comfortable and friendly. Prices are good and I love the location. I would love to see a garden area somewhere outside to set and enjoy that beautiful Arizona sky.
"Real Nice Property and Service"
Very nice property and caring employees and management, they go the extra mile to assure satisfaction. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping or staying in Winslow AZ. We will do that next time there as well.
"Great Place to Stay"
My wife and I stayed here while on our 29 day road trip throughout southwest and northwest. This was a great place to stay. Clean room and nice continental breakfast. Very convenient place to stay while visiting the Meteor Crater and the Petrified Forest.
"Not your typical Best Western"
This hotel, while not bad, was not the typical Best Western. It lacked the "over the top" quality. It was average and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to find location.
"Hot water would be nice!"
The hotel is clean and done well. However, there is no hot water in the entire hotel tonight. I understand things happen, we are two weeks into a road trip and other hotels definitely have not been perfect. However, when things go wrong, you expect the hotel to kindly, apologetically, and quickly take care of their guests. This hotel has failed to do this. Do you know what its like to be 2 weeks into a road trip, walk around the grand canyon all morning with 4 little kids, drive 2 1/2 hours to your hotel, and then to pull 4 little kids out of the car and have to give them cold showers? Miserable. Couldn't even stomach it to wash my own rather long hair....just so ridiculously cold. Not to mention how sanitary is it to wash with cold water after using the bathroom? What does Best Western tell us they will do? Give us $25 off our room. $25! That's pretty insulting and no way to take care of guests. A person gets a hotel room to sleep and to have a place to get clean, and right now I can't even use hot water to wash my hands after using the restroom. The hotel failed to provide to guests a simple sanitation necessity. Their refund of $25 in no way addresses the magnitude of this failure and does not demonstrate their desire to take care of their customers.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for taking time to discuss and agree on a solution to address our issue Monday evening of no hot water. We had 2 water heater parts fail at the same time and it obviously created a difficult situation. Best wishes to you and your family.
"No hot water in hotel"
When using the shower we found out that there was no hot water in the room...Surprise! We were not informed about it when doing the check- in at night... The front desk did not care about the situation and did nothing about. Problems to connect with the free wifi as well.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, my apologies for the lack of hot water. On the evening you checked in, it took us a bit of time to assess the hot water system. Our initial assessment was 1 of our 2 water heaters was working and some of our rooms had hot water and some did not. It was clear by 9pm that one of the units was not working and despite our efforts to initialize, we were unable to. At some point around that time, we should have been open with guests checking in about the inconsistent hot water. I would respectfully disagree with the comment that we did not care. It was very difficult assessing and we were getting messages from our guests that it was working and not working. It became a more challenging situation for us when the working unit failed about 2am in the morning Tuesday leaving the hotel completely without hot water. The 2 water heaters failed because major parts failed in each water heater. Given our remote location, we did not get replacement parts here until early afternoon Wednesday. Once we fully understood what we were dealing with, we reached out to all guests to alert them on a timeline for hot water as well as alerting incoming guests. We did not fully understand how difficult it was going to be to get replacement parts until Tuesday early afternoon which was well after you checked out. Our apologies again and best wishes.
"Great staff, place, service & price"
I understand that this facility was recently renovated and they did a wonderful job. Baths are new and modern. Staff is very helpful and complete with instructions and directions. This is my place in Winslow.
"Standing on the corner!"
Excellent experience from check in to check out! Staff was helpful in finding attractions and dining in the area. Location was easy to access with plentiful parking, very important when you're towing a trailer as we do.
"Good, clean, friendly"
I have no hesitation in recommending this location the next time you're in Winslow. Conveniently located right off of Rt 40, the rooms were clean, the staff helpful, the breakfast acceptable, and the parking lot well lit. Just wish there was a safe in the room because it is very inconvenient when you have to carry around the passports, jewelry, iPads, iPhones, and cash.
"Nice surprise!"
This motel was a nice surprise on the I 40 corridor. The facility was clean, rooms were updated, staff was very nice. Breakfast was more than adequate and breakfast attendant was very nice and efficient. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative was beds were a little hard for my taste.
"SURPRISE"
The hotel is a couple blocks off of the Interstate 40. Nice rooms with good beds/pillows and bathroom is small but nice. Our room only had a shower but we don't use a bathtub so that was fine. There are no places to eat at but one Mexican one across the street. You have to go into town for fine any were to eat at and there isn't much going for Winslow. Breakfast was nice but very small area so it was very busy and wasn't easy to get to a table. Nice indoor pool. The phones in room would not let you call out and the WiFi did not work anywhere in your room/hotel. They didn't know what the problem was. This was on a week end so they could not get anyone to fix the problem Would not stay there again.
""Hello, Hello - is somebody there""
Upon arrival (about 5 pm) We couldn't find anyone at the front desk, so we went looking for someone to help check us in... a little odd - then the room was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in.. dental floss on the sink, bobby pin in the corner, and a dust line along the wall at least 4 inches wide - like they only vacuum the center of the floor and not along the baseboards. We were suppose to stay a few days but decided we couldn't stay there - when I told the front counter staff about the room being dirty, I could tell they didn't know what to say.. awkward.. the young man discounted $20 off my fee's. That was nice of him - but the fact of the matter remains.. the place is dirty.
"On our way through"
Never considered Winslow a stop or stay over on my travels on I-40 but now after staying here, it is now a serious consideration. A hot tub would be a nice addition, if possible, otherwise it was great stay.
"Nice Place to Stay"
Very clean and hospitable hotel. The free hot breakfast was prepared on site and was good. The lobby has ice water with lemon which is very appreciated. The housekeeping staff, in particular Carla, very friendly and accommodating. She never failed to wish me to "enjoy my stay."
"Clean, Quiet and Near Downtown"
This hotel room s within view of the freeway so it is easy to find. The hotel is situated within close driving distance to downtown Winslow. He hotel is relatively new and is quite good shape. The rooms are spacious and clean. The indoor swimming pool area is clean and relaxing. Downtown Winslow is about a mile or more driving distance. The here are plenty of downtown restaurants to choose from. The in house breakfast buffet was adequate and helps to stretch your travel dollar. Service was courteous and helpful. The internet access was adequate but spotty at times. For our needs, this hotel met our requirements and we would stay there again.
"Great place to spend a night."
VERY quiet property and an excellent place to get a good nights rest. The desk clerk was very friendly and made check in easy. My room was spotless and the bed was so comfy. The shower had good pressure and towels were soft. Breakfast was plentiful and well maintained. I'm going to give it an A+ for the overall appearance of the property. The famous "corner" in Winslow isn't far and you have to make the trek to see it, of course. There are plenty of places in town to grab a bite to eat.
"Good Place To Sat In Winslow"
Hotel was better than expected. Clean comfortable and quiet room with a quiet air conditioner (hard to find these days). I was somewhat surprised to find this good of a facility in Winslow, AZ. While you are in Winslow visit the Turquoise Room inside the La Posada hotel for a unique dining experience prepared by a world class chef.
"Best hotel in Winslow"
Leslie and Christie. Have been very helpful every time and for them I'll be back when ever I travel through. Like that the hotel is convenient and the nicest in Winslow. I tell all my friends to stay here. Thank you very much
"Excellently Maintained Property"
This Best Western looked like a new property. The walls were freshly painted with new carpet in the hallways. When I asked the front desk clerk if it was new, she said the owner just often upgrades it. You could tell that they take pride in their property. We needed two luggage racks and they promptly provided one. It was a nice place to stop on our way to Canyon de Chelly. Kathy, at the front desk, actually booked our room for the next night in Chinle at the Best Western. Great accommodations and service.
Mark R, Manager at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments. Our front desk person was very correct on the comment on upgrading our hotel. It is something we take seriously in our effort to appeal to all of our guests. Thank you for noticing the detail you mentioned. We look forward to seeing you again.
"Ignorant uncaring staff"
Staff is not very helpful, unwilling to work out issues. A bit lazy? I've brought this issue to their attention of more than one occasion, when I go back, (booked by company, I wouldn't go back on my own) still nothing. Don't know what the problem is w/ the company or staff, but I have no patience for it. Everywhere else I stay has no problem giving me a copy of the registration form as confirmation I was there. For whatever reason to these ppl their form is private property, but every contract I've ever signed I was entitled to a copy. Are these ppl ignorant, lazy, what?
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, my apologies for this issue not being solved previously. It is perfectly understandable for someone in your circumstances to request and receive a copy of the registration card. I understand that in booking a 3rd party reservation for business purposes, one may need to show that they have actually stayed at the hotel even though the financial arrangement rests with the 3rd party reservation company. More disappointing that this has been brought up previously and I was not asked to clarify. I will be sure to clarify to all desk staff the proper way of handling. Thank you for taking time to bring up this issue. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Good Value"
This hotel stay is one we would repeat. Winslow is a small town and the Best Wetern Hotel was in a place that was away from railroad and highway noise which we appreciate. The bed was excellent and the breakfast was good.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your gracious comments on our hotel. We look forward to hosting you again if your travels bring you through Winslow. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Good Choice Hotel"
There aren't many hotel choices in Winslow, but we have stayed at this hotel many times and like it very much because it is convenient off the freeway and is very clean with very comfortable rooms. The carpeting is fresh throughout the hotel and the a/c unit runs quietly. There is a Flying J station and Denny's very close. The hotel has washer/dryer for guests' use and an indoor pool. This is definitely a good value hotel.
"Impressed on First Visit"
We do not usually stay in Best Westerns however, we have noticed that they are working at upgrading their inns. We decided to stay at the Best Western Plus and were very pleased overall with the experience. The breakfast buffet had some unique features ie a pancake maker which was the first I have seen and was easy for children to operate with no mess. There was also a yogurt machine which dispensed fresh yogurt. They also had fresh fruit salad which is unusual in breakfast buffets in hotel chains where breakfast is free. They did advertise gluten free products available but did not have any.....that was a disappointment. Otherwise, we would certainly stay again.
"Wonderful on all levels!"
We were traveling cross country, decided to stop for the night in Winslow Arizona. We decided on this Best Western. I cannot say enough about this place. The rooms were Very clean, The beds were Very comfortable and pillows! The breakfast was by far the best! The front desk people were very friendly as well as the breakfast lady(Leslie). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lovely hotel.
"Comfy!"
Room was clean, quiet even though it is right next to the highway. I run a mile every day & there is a wonderful gravel road by the hotel that leads to a levee so I do recommend that as opposed to the treadmill.
"Great Nights Stay"
Like most of the Best Western Plus properties we have stayed at, they provided clean, comfortable rooms and a wonderful selection of breakfast items in the morning. The staff were very welcoming and the children enjoyed spending time at their indoor pool.
"A go back hotel"
Good start with front desk and local information. As other reviews very clean and greater with a help by maids in the hall way. A big plus was how quite our night was. Ask for room on back because there was no parking on that side. Unlike other hotels the trains where no close.
"Great staff, modest hotel"
We stayed here when La Posada was full over a holiday week. The staff were very friendly and even remembered names. The rooms are reasonably comfortable (suggestion - select a king bed rather than two queens if you want any space to move around). The breakfast area is small, but the options are good, not least the fresh fruit cup. There are no grab-bars in the tub - and the hair dryer is in a bag, so there is no nightlight provided from the dryer installation. The biggest issue during our stay was the incredibly noisy trash collection service that emptied the dumpster at the rear of the building in the early morning (4:30/5 a.m.) If you are not a heavy sleeper, ask for a room on the front (I-40) side of the building!!!
"Newly renovated"
This was a pleasant hotel, newly renovated. Fairly spacious room. Good tv channel selection, had an on-screen guide. Stayed here to visit the Corner in Winslow, AZ. Pleasant staff, the lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice, kept the breakfast foods well stocked.

On behalf of our staff, thank you for your comments on our hotel. We look forward to serving you again if your travels bring you to Winslow. Safe travels.
"Really enjoyed our stay"
Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, wifi. Great complimentary breakfast! A little more than we were expecting! Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here if traveling through Winslow.

On behalf of our staff thank you for your gracious comments. We look forward to being of service to you in the future if your travels bring you through Winslow. Safe travels and best wishes.
"Nice surprise"
We had been traveling across the country and Winslow was our last stop before our return to CA. Generally in the middle of nowhere one would not expect a near new hotel. This Best Western is just that -- near new! The overall place was as if it was recently built or revovated to the point of appearing new. But the nicest surprise was the breakfast fare. Having been across the country and back, we experienced several B.W. hotels. This one has the breakfast offering down!!! There was fresh cut fruit, fresh eggs biscuits and sausage, with gravy, fresh berry compote for the waffles, and the woman who was keeping the items tidy and stocked was caring and very pleasant. Staying at this hotel one would not be disappointed.
"Excellent choice when traveling on the I-40."
This is a very nice new facility on the east side of Winslow. Rooms are spotless and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional and the free breakfast was a very nice surprise. Much more than the usual continental breakfast that is so often served. We came in late and it was a little tricky finding the motel after driving through town on the Business I-40.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, we are grateful for your gracious comments on our hotel. We have positioned signage to assist our guests in getting to our hotel but they are all interstate based. Thank you again for choosing our hotel. Best wishes
"A good place to take it easy!"
We wanted to "Stand on a corner In Winslow AZ" and took the opportunity to visit Winslow while travelling from Canada to Tucson. The hotel is located just off the I-40, Gas and food are close by. We found this Best Western to be very clean and well-appointed. Our room was newly renovated. The staff were were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the Standin' on a corner experience. The 911 memorial is worth checking out.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments. We appreciate you choosing our hotel while driving through. Best wishes and safe travels.
"New place but can still hear the trains."
We stayed here because the Posada was full, however had a fab dinner at the Turquoise room. New facility, nice rooms good breakfast, nice bed, ok WIFI. Cleaning and breakfast staff delightful. Desk check in and out not so.A/c loud.
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear mrsthoughtful, Thank you for writing the nice review of the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn, we appreciate your comments. Our hotel isn't new, in 2017 we will be celebrating 20 years of service to our guests. All of us are proud you see our constant updates and cleanliness as proof our efforts work. I wish I knew what room you were in so we could adjust the A/C as they have been replaced this year and shouldn't be making noise. Thanks again and safe travels
"BEST HOTEL IN THE USA"
If I could clone this hotel and Alonzo and Kristy (I think) The amazing desk clerks/ managers at the Window Arizona Best Western Plus Hotel, I would have them in every state, city, town and province. I travel extensively, all over the country and this is the best hotel ever. BEST WESTERN is just a name of a chain of hotels. It is these Incredibly dedicated employees that put this hotel on the map. Their pride in their hotel and their job is obvious in every aspect of their duties. I can't begin to thank you for a perfect end to a long day and for the courtesy you extended. I will stay here every time I travel west and will recommend you to everyone I know. I am going to post this on Facebook Book for everyone to read and add to their "MustStay" list as they travel through Winslow. Keep up the good Work!! God Bless You. Sheryl Dickson Grove, Okla
"The Secret is Out!"
I have been staying at the Best Western Inn Plus Winslow Inn since 2009. I was surprised to see a nearly-full facility during the off-season during my stay! Obviously, word of Daphne's great customer service and Leslie's wonderful full breakfasts offered in the morning has gotten out! The Best Western Plus Winslow Inn has been my go-to place when traveling for almost a decade now. Always up to date and well-appointed, it will continue to be my favored place to stay in the future as well!
"Great value!"
The hotel room was comfortable, stylishly furnished, and quiet (far from the railroad tracks on the other side of town). Great hot breakfast, too! We had a little trouble getting the TV to work, but the front desk clerk came to our rescue right away and fixed the problem. This hotel in Winslow is a good choice for anyone who wants to avoid the higher prices in Flagstaff. We'll definitely stay here again.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our Best Western Plus Winslow staff, thank you for choosing our hotel. We look forward to serving you in the future. Best wishes
"FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY..!!!"
We spent 16 days there. Working in travel medicine we have stayed in several hotels. Everyone there worked very hard to make sure that we felt right at home. Over the course of our stay we got to know nearly everyone that worked there. We were always greeted with a warm welcome every time we stepped through the door. It was a very clean, inviting, and a welcoming place to stay. Fantastic hot breakfast, served by a friendly staff. I would actually rate this stay a 10/10.
"It was great, stayed two nights and all was good"
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that stays in Winslow, AZ. Service is good, Breakfast is great and slept very comfortable. Nice quiet location. The best in Winslow, AZ as far as I'm concerned. Close to Meteor Crater and not far from Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and Grand Canyon. And a must see is the Standin' on the Corner on Route 66! Which consists of Statues of Jackson Brown and Glen Frey. There is a mural and a flat bed ford in front. Great place to take a picture with the family. What memories this town has captured!
"To good for just a stopover"
Sleeping and bathroom were spacious, clean, nicely furnished and decorated with a lot of places to store all the stuff one has on a trip. The beds were comfy and the room (2nd floor northside) had a nice undistubed view over the landscape. Coin laundry and Fitness room had good equipment and were clean. The breakfast variety was good for being complimentary. All staff we met was very nice. Unfortunately the door seals were new (as explained by frontdesk) so the doors had to be shut with force (sorry neighbours). But Overall we would definitely stay here again.
"Great Service, Clean Rooms but Congested Dining"
Enjoyed the stay for the night at Best Western Plus Winslow Inn right off I-40. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good but the dining area was too small for the crowd. It was hard to get from one section to another to get cereal, eggs, juice, etc. without moving around the congestion caused by tables and people in tight quarters.
"Great hotel and price"
After checking reviews and prices for hotels in Winslow, we chose the Best Western Plus. We were not disappointed. It was easy to find and in a quiet location. The front desk clerk gave us a dinner recommendation for a local place that was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the noisy A/C, when the compressor kicked in each time, it was very loud. The breakfast room was small, but wasn't busy when we went or it could have been a problem. The attendant kept things well stocked. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits and all the regulars. I would stay here again if in the area.
"Road Trip"
A newer hotel in Winslow about 45 miles from Flagstaff. Very clean , quite , and with comfortable beds. Swim pool on site. Good breakfast , usual scrambled eggs and bacon, choice of cold cereal and hot oat meal. Coffee , tea and milk also choice of juice, and the staff was pleasant. Easy access to and from highway I-40.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your gracious comments on our hotel. We look forward to serving you again if your travels bring you through Winslow. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Great, Convenient Hotel"
My brother and I stayed at the BW in Winslow while visiting the town and Meteor Creator. The hotel is conveniently located off I-40, it's close to downtown (and for "standing on the corner") and to Meteor Creator. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially when my brother developed altitude sickness. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Great place to stay!
"Stopover on way to Sedona...."
Best Western Plus is one of the more modern Hotels of this chain. Staff was very friendly and breakfast had some nice unusual treats to offer. When u have the choice ask for rooms opposite of the freeway. Noise level was but too bad, but if you can avoid it. All in all a good value for a nice and clean hotel.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your gracious comments on our hotel. We look forward to serving you in the future. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Pleasant Surprise"
After a long day of traveling, we came to the town of Winslow, Arizona. I began looking on Trip Advisor reviews for a hotel for the night. Best Western had great reviews so we chose it. It seemed a little isolated at first glance but we were tired and didn't want to explore any further. We found it to be a great hotel and if ever in the area would choose it again. The staff was so friendly and makes you feel like you are important. The bed was very very comfortable. The hotel is clean and appealing and rooms are good. The breakfast is pretty standard for hotel breakfast options. Leslie was the employee that day overseeing the breakfast room....she was awesome! She is so friendly and attentive to each person having breakfast. The night check in clerk (forgot his name) was very helpful to point us to some close by food options and Christy at the front desk the following morning was very professional and friendly. This is a great choice!
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your gracious comments on our hotel and our staff and in particular Leslie, Alondo and Kristy. We all look forward to seeing you again in the future. Best wishes and safe travels.
"A repeat visit..."
When we booked this hotel, I thought it would be a new facility that we've never stayed at, but it turned out to be one we visited when in Arizona 5 years ago. But we were happy to visit and certainly felt very comfortable... The only challenge in this area is trying to find a decent restaurant for dinner [and not fast food]. The clerk gave us directions to one...but unfortunately...either she was misled or we misunderstood where it was...so we endured something far less. Hotel staff could use some guidance to make better directions or provide a street map...
"Friendly Staff"
After standing on the corner on Oct 2nd the four of us stayed at the Winslow Inn, a pre-planned stop on our 5 day motorcycle trip. Had booked it thru Priceline receiving a confirmation and rate. When asked if we were getting the best rate offered the manager got involved. He said we were not. Interesting! Anyway, the manager adjusted our rate and suggested always calling the hotel direct as that was always the best way to get the best rate. This manager didn't have to get involved and staff could have just allowed us to pay the higher rate. We appreciated staff's efficient handling of our reservations. Pretty stand up (honest) place. Hotel was clean and comfy and they're biker friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
"Winslow BW good choice"
Hotel is very nice- good location, good breakfast, clean. Our only regret is that we had planned to do laundry (checked on line before that laundry facility was available) The dryer was out of order Otherwise, Great price Check-in went fast, they had our reservation right at hand
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your gracious comments. My apologies for the dryer out of order. A part failed just prior to your arrival. It was not possible to get the part here in 1 day. My apologies for the inconvenience to you and your family. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Great place."
nice clean comfortable hotel with all the amenities needed for a traveller. the option of fresh fruit at breakfast was awesome. May not be close to the shops and resturants but great value and a good place for an overnight stay.
"Best value in Winslow"
We enjoy staying at this hotel when we are in Winslow for volunteer work on the reservation. It is comfortable, clean, and in a good location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lady who serves the breakfast does a great job and is very helpful and friendly. The desk workers are efficient, cooperative and helpful. THe swimming pool looks great altho' we rarely saw anyone swimming! We feel it is the best hotel for us and we stay here everytime we are in Winslow which is 2 -3 times a year. It is close to Homolovi Ruins, Petrified Forest, and more.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments. We look forward to having you back here when your plans bring you to Winslow and the reservation. Best wishes and safe travels.
"Fab stay"
This hotel had good reviews so instead of pushing forward to Flagstaff we stopped here in Winslow--- this hotel does NOT disappoint !!!!! It very updated &super clean& there is nothing I can say was not right!!!! The staff was very nice &the morning breakfast was very very good---- except the coffee machine should be replaced with "brewed" coffee. Other than that one thing I would tell anyone--- this is well worth the stay!!!!!!
"Not just clean but spotless"
This hotel was amazingly clean and comfortable. We usually stay in Holbrooke but they were full and referred us to Winslow, wow we were lucky. We got the last room and now will stay here every time we are passing through. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast attendant. It was 15 minutes to the end of serving and she actually brought us out some fresh eggs, that were hot and tasted great. Trust me, if you need a room this is the place you want to stay. The price was ($98) which was lower than what we paid for a room that wasn't a plus in Tucumcari, NM. Can't wait to get to this area again so we can stay here.
Mark R, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your gracious comments on our hotel. We understand the importance of cleanliness for all of our guests and also work hard to provide a fresh, hot and attractive breakfast. Safe travels and we look forward to seeing you soon. Mark Ross
"excellent hotel"
Very nice hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Great service, cleanliness and hot, fresh breakfast. This is the best breakfast we have had in a hotel. The lady was very attentive and everything was hot and fresh. Very friendly and helpful staff in every area.
"Excellent Value"
Stayed here on the 19th of August, the manager asked if we had any discount vouchers to which we replied no, her response was not to worry I will give you my family discount :-) saved us $30.00. Stayed in Queen room, very comfortable.
"Best Western Winslow"
It was good to be able to rest in a very clean room with up to date decor. Internet and cable TV worked well. Breakfast was actually tasty ! Just be careful with the extremely hot water that comes out of the faucets.
"Great room!"
Very nice spacious room, bed & pillows very comfortable ! Breakfast delicious ! Even had fresh fruit salad ! Room very clean and updated.. Had trouble with wifi but other than that great hotel!!! We are 16 day trip BW every night
"Very comfortable stay"
We stayed at this hotel whilst travelling Route 66. It is just off the I-40 and at first I thought it would be noisy but we had the best sleep here and the bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Washing machine and dryer to do laundry close to our room. Spacious room and decent size bathroom. Elevator for second floor so so lugging suitcases upstairs. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice from cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt, toast, plenty of coffee and juice. Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean
"I didn't know Best Westerns were this nice"
We were traveling around enjoying Painted Desert and Petrified Forest and decided Winslow was a good place to stop on the way back toward Flagstaff. This Best Western was a great choice, and I had no idea that Best Westerns were ever this nice. Well placed just off the interstate, and with great staff, clean rooms, a good looking pool (we didn't have time to try it) and washer-dryers. And a great breakfast. My kids and I highly recommend.
"A great place to stay"
If you are wondering that the quality of a hotel in a small place like Winslow would be questionable, guess gain... The hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. We stayed at hotel with a group of 4 adults and 2 children and the experience was good. We were well rested from a long journey and enjoyed a nice breakfast. I would congratulate the management for doing a great job.
"OK room, great salad!"
The room was a typical aged hotel with a marginal bed and noisy walls. While clean and the a/c worked good, it was standard for its price. The layout of the building shows it has an add-on, and the parking in the back is almost questionable. Decent staff. Good breakfast
"One night stay and very satisfied"
Well run and maintained Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Standard complimentary breakfast fare. What else do you need? Desk staff was very helpful with restaurants and directions to "The spot". (Standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona ...?)
"Great hotel"
I had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus. I only stayed one day, however, I noticed the staff to be lively and accommodating. They were informative and helpful about restaurants since there wasn't much in the area. The hotel was very clean. The lobby even smelled nice and clean. The hotel location is right off the highway and a bit secluded, but other than that this place was a win!
"Very Pleasantly Surprised"
I haven't stayed in a Best Western in 20+ years. I stopped in Winslow on my way back from a quick trip to CA. I saw that this particular property had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. The property is new and seems to be well cared for. The staff were professional and helpful. Not only is it nicely furnished, but I appreciated that my room had a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub. I was travelling alone but felt safe and comfortable. Very reasonably priced and includes breakfast.
"Aug 11, 2016"
Our family arrived late. We were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. There was a bad smell which we believe to be bug spray. It quickly cleared by opening the window and turning on a/c while we unloaded. Beds were very comfortable and the towels were some of the softest we've had on this 2 week vacation! Breakfast was definitely the highlight. The sweet lady who runs the kitchen had prepared a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. The eggs were well flavored, the fresh fruit was my favorite! My daughter enjoyed her pancakes!
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear Nikki427, Thank you for taking time to review the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. I'm happy 95% of everything was a good experience. I hope you mentioned the odor to the front desk, they make note of things like that so the manager can locate the cause. In any case, I'm happy it was solved quickly and we are all pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Safe travels,
"Outstanding"
This was a great place to stay. It's very convenient to I-40 and on the edge of town. It is just a short drive (maybe couple of miles) to go into town, where there were quite a few dining options. The hotel has been fairly recently renovated and was beautifully redone. There is a large, comfortable lobby area and pretty artwork throughout the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy. The wi-fi worked fine. My only complaint was that the lighting was dim (one of my pet peeves), with the bathroom lighting being too dim to see well to put on make-up. There is no elevator, which was not an issue for us, but might be for others. We asked for a room on the 2nd floor, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good, with a large variety of items from which to choose. The eating area was a little small, necessitating our taking the food into the lobby to eat during the busiest time in the morning. Loved this hotel, and would definitely stay here again!
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear CLJ, Reading Your wonderful review was rewarding to myself and the staff. I'm sorry you felt the lighting in the bathroom was dim, we love when people point out things we can fix and we take all comments to heart. With the pool tables and chairs right next to the breakfast area, we try to encourage people to enjoy the area when the breakfast room is busy. I hope that was offered to you. We do have an elevator. Due to fire codes it was added to the building instead of being off the lobby as we wanted. We completed the elevator project in 2012. Thank you for choosing the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. We look forward to seeing you again. Safe Travels,
"Late Night Arrival"
We were leaving Phoenix later than we had anticipated, and made an on-line reservation for this hotel. When we arrived at 10 PM, we were notified at the front desk that they did not have our reservation. Looked at my confirmation on my smart phone, and they were right....I had inadvertently reserved a room for the next night (!) The front desk staff was very helpful, and they found us a room (the last one available) for the night, and gave us the preferred rate that we had received on-line. We are very thankful for this above and beyond service. The room was very comfortable, clean, and there was an awesome shower with excellent pressure and very hot water. We had a quick breakfast (cereal/fruit/coffee) at 6 AM before heading east. Would definitely stop here again.
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear 1lacrosse, We appreciate your nice review and especially your comment about our guest service. I'm proud of the Manager and staff at the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. We hope to see you again.
"Nice hotel"
We would definitely recommend this hotel. We stay here every time we're travelling from Texas to Nevada. Easy access from Interstate 40. Nearby travel center with Denny's. Request top floor close to elevator room facing parking lot of front entrance of hotel

"Our stay at Best Western, Winslow Az"
We were on a family vacation. Driving from the Grand Canyon back to Albuquerque. This motel is on the eastern side of Winslow on I40. It was convenient , clean with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast.

Dear Patricia B, I'm happy to know you enjoyed your stay at the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. Thank you for staying with us. We hope to see you again when traveling in the Winslow area.
"Good Option"
Easy check-in. It's what you expect out of a Best Western. The room was very nice with a high showerhead. That was a pleasant surprise. It had an indoor pool, but I did not use it. Breakfast was standard, eggs, bacon, a pancake machine, etc. But what really set this place apart was that while I was en route, I received a phone call from the hotel checking on me and verifying what my ETA was. I've never had a motel or hotel do that. It was kind of nice.
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear RWeb, Thank you for taking time to review the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. It's nice to know you appreciated the phone call. The staff does this when they believe someone maybe traveling alone or later than expected. Please stay with us again when in the Winslow area. Safe travels,
"Winslow Best Western"
Wonderful place to stay. This place has been updated and the rooms are large and well appointed. The bed is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is excellent!! They even have a pancake machine which I have never seen before. Highly recommended.
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear 582lyndas, We love reading reviews like yours, it has a positive affect on the entire staff and especially the Manager who works very hard to give all guests a great stay. We upgraded our breakfast too and removed the beloved waffle maker due to grease and safety. We're very happy to hear you enjoyed the pancake machine it. We hope to see you again when you are in the Winslow area. Safe travels.
"Nice place to stay"
It was clean, breakfast was great, location was great. Close to Denny's and gas stations. Room was average size and beds were comfortable. Price was right. Only negative was no microwave in the room. Most BW's have them.
"Good Option in Winslow"
The Best Western in Winslow is a very good choice is you are passing through for a night or staying for a few days. They have a good continental breakfast and an indoor pool. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and updated.
"Caring Staff"
My wife and I have been staying at the Best Western Plus Winslow since 2009, Two days ago, our latest stay, found us delayed in our arrival that night. We were please and amazed to receive a phone call while en route by Kristy who was concerned about our welfare. We assured her we were fine and about thirty minutes away from our late arrival. We thanked Kristy for her phone call and professionalism when we arrived. We have enjoyed Kristy's outstanding customer service as well as other BWPlus Winslow employees for years! That includes Leslie who always provides the great full breakfast that is offered every morning at the property. And, as usual, the Best Western Plus Winslow looks as if the doors have opened for the first time. The facility always looks fresh and brand-new with continuous upgrades to the decor. The Best Western Plus Winslow is a must stay for my wife and I in our travels!
"No Hot Tub"
Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The service was lackluster. There were no towels in the pool area. When we ask for towels - we were told to use our room towels. Since I was already wet and dripping in the lobby - the receptionist conceded to let me have towels but I had to sign for it and sign it back in the next morning. I assume most guests just drip water all the way back to their rooms. The pool was large and clean- just wish they had a hot tub. I recommend eating a few blocks away at El Marias. It looks like a dive - but the food was fantastic!
"Nice place"
Clean rooms, attractive lobby, quiet, comfortable beds. Breakfast good. Indoor pool, which we did not use. (Never use indoor pools, just not attractive to me personally - no sun!) Pool area looked nice though. Exercise room which also we also didn't use. Staff was friendly, everything was fine with this one night stay. The only thing I would comment on was that there was a rather odd "scent" in the room that resembled some deoderant for men or something similar. Since we were in a room next to the gym, I thought maybe it was some product used there for cleaning or deoderizing, so stuck my head in there to check it out but nope, only the room. I always carry room spray when I travel and that took care of it, but it was just odd. Overall a pleasant stop over.
"Nice hotel good staff"
OK, we are saddos and went to Winslow to get the corner picture. The hotel has good parking, easy to find and no night noise. The pool was a delight have a hot day in the car, complimentary hot breakfast is included. The staff are friendly and informative. The rooms are clean, well prepared and quiet.
"Good place to stay in Winslow"
Room was very clean, ready when we arrived, and the staff was helpful and courteous. No good restaurants in Winslow that we could find, Denny's at the truck stop was best choice, and was recommended by the hotel. Hotel staff was also helpful with information about the meteor crater and park nearby.
"4 stars for comfy beds"
My family and I stayed one night here. The room is small but the beds are so comfy. The hotel has a pool but towels should be provided in the pool area for guests' convenience like in other hotels. This is a newer hotel which is good. It's cleaner and has a nice welcoming lobby. Although the walls are kind of thin so we could hear people pulling their luggages in the hallway going to the elevator in the morning. Also, the hotel is close to a ranch or feeding supply store so there's the smell of horse manure in that afternoon when we got there. Overall, it is a good place to stay for the night while you are travelling.
"Worth every penny"
We got in late and were able to step right into one of the last rooms they had. Loved the breakfast. Munchkin was able to swim, though there was only a pool. we were not able to access the internet so gave up on it. but beds were comfy and room was quiet despite there being a whole bunch of folks just hanging out in the halls and front area. It was worth every penny we put into it.
"Great place to relax"
This motel was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It is located outside of Winslow and was very easy to find. The staff at the front desk, especially a man named Alondo, were helpful and friendly. The room was SO comfortable. It was very spacious and open. The furniture was inviting as well as the king-size bed. The bathroom was also spacious and I loved the shower curtain which was see-through at the top and allowed the light to shine in the shower. Breakfast was good, fresh, and hot and a great way to start our day of sightseeing. All in all, this was a wonderful place to refresh and relax.
"Best in Winslow, Az"
Very comfy accomodations, the town has suffered thru the years as they didn't keep up with progress, but the Best Western has stuck with it and is the Best in Town. I travel thru here often and if there was a nice food establishment that would be good!!
"Nice"
Stayed just one night, but the rooms were clean and the staff were prompt and friendly. Plenty of toiletries available in the bathroom. We were in the two rooms immediately over the check-in area, and it was mostly quiet, but in the morning, we were able to hear suitcase wheels going over the tiles as people were leaving. The breakfast was very nice - plenty of everything.
"Convenient to interstate, clean rooms"
Arrived around 8pm to check-in. We received the exact type of room we requested and it was clean and supplied with all the usual amenities. The breakfast area was well-supplied and food options were as expected. Wifi was free but not straightforward to access for my parents. (A common theme among reviewers?) I was able to connect them but it may be best for the hotel to offer clearer instructions. If you arrive late, there is a Mexican restaurant across the street that does take out orders otherwise you will need to drive into town.
"Good cool room and very good breakfast"
During our stay the staff was nice and professional, we did have to get the key redone before we could get in the room. Yet the room was clean and cool and when the temps outside are in the three digits, we were thankful for the temp inside. The breakfast was good and tasty, although the dining area is rather small so try not to get there when everyone else does. I love the infused water at the front desk, it is yummy.
"Good room but clueless staff"
Stayed here as a stopover for 1 night. The room was nice and clean with the usual amenities. The staff was very unprofessional though. After entering our room, two little girls knocked on our door and said here are the wash cloths that you needed. We didn't need them but we took them. An hour later, an older lady knocked on our door and asked if we got the towels that we asked for. I told her that we didn't ask for any towels but would take an extra one. She said OK, you can get them down stairs. I never figured that one out but the next morning, I found that I forgot my shaving cream but fortunately the book in our room that listed the free services said that I could get shaving cream or toothpaste free at the desk. I went to the desk and the same older lady was there. I asked her for the shaving cream the service book listed and all she would say is "Umm, I don't have any idea where that stuff is". This was all more amusing than anything so I gave the place an average rating.
"Just off interstate"
Check in was quick and the room was ok, The bed was comfortable and bath was clean and well stocked. Once again not enough outlets in the room for electronics. The breakfast was good. The big problem we had was with the Wifi. We did get our phones on and 2 tablets but it took forever. Never was able to get laptop online.
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear William B, Thank you taking time to review the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. We've just done some major changes that were to add more outlets for electronics. I know though we didn't add enough for 2 phones, 2 tablets and a laptop. Whew, I need some help here. Please contact the GM at 928 289 2960 with a bit more info. Were you needing more bedside or at the desk? I'm also sorry to hear you had problems with our WiFi, most guests are happy with the speed and response. Again, I'll need to do some research on your room and date of stay. If you mentioned it to the staff, it will be easier to find, as they make notes of WIFI problems so we know what's needed. As you can imagine, it's difficult to keep up with the number of electronics people travel with, but we do keep trying. Being in a very small town, we only have one option for our service and they aren't keeping up with required download speeds. We appreciate your choosing us as your accommodations when in the area and hope to see you again. Safe Travels, Barbara
"NIce overnight stay"
Easy find right off the freeway, not sure how new it is but the hotel still smelled new. Check in was quick. There was a big gap under and on the side of the door in our room. Lots and lots of counter space in the bathroom. Also had a half used bottle of lotion waiting for us. The fan in the bathroom worked extremely well. The mirrors were not foggy when we got out of the shower. There was actually hot water too. The computer chair was way too large for the table that it was sitting at. Table could have been much larger or the chair smaller. The four pillows on the bed were really flat. Room was clean. One thing I did find odd was that the front doors do not open automatically, you have to manually open them yourselves. If you have a lot of luggage this could be a problem. There was a small pool and NO hot tub. Plenty of free parking. Wifi worked great. There is also a fitness center. Refrigerators in rooms. The breakfast attendant was from our home state and we were talking to her quite a bit. She even gave us directions to Standing on the Corner as that is where we were headed next. Breakfast was pretty good and they even had skim milk! YAY!

Hello Decemberborn; Thank you for taking time to review the Best Western Plus Winslow inn. I'm going to try to respond in the sequence of your comments. Our hotel was built in 1998, almost 20 years ago but we try very hard to keep it looking fresh and new with constant care and refurbishing. The gap around the door is a project we are currently working on and hope to have all rooms finished soon. Yee Gad! I apologize for the half bottle of lotion. Our room attendants are usually very good at things like that. A Training refresher is in order! I'm curious about the computer chair being too large. We've just purchased new chairs and desks for each room, something to research for me, but it will be taken care of. The original building did not have auto doors, our addition to make them automatic was made possible by adding the large PUSH button. I wish I knew which room you stayed in so I could check for these specific items, but we will do an inspection of each room. We hope to see you when you are again in our area. Safe Travels. Barbara
"Great hotel"
After a long drive on a very hot windy day it was nice to find that my research on TripAdvisor was spot on yet again. Easy pleasant reception good sized clean rooms and breakfast included along with free Wi-Fi. There was also a nice pool to relax in and relax we did. For those in the need for exercise there is an excellent gym room with good quality kit. The hotel has loads of parking space and is located next door to a Mexican style restaurant and shop selling food and wine/beer. WE enjoyed our stopover at the Best Western Plus and both my wide and I enjoyed a great night sleep in the large comfortable bed. The Wi-Fi worked well in the rooms and there was a consistent connection which helped us with our travel plans for the next day. Big thumbs up from us and we would definitely use again when we next visit that area.

"Standin on the corner of the Best Western in Winslow, Arizona."
The Best Western in Winslow, Arizona is not a luxury hotel. But what it is, is clean, comfortable, accommodating, affordable, friendly. accessible, with good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

"stay at Best Western Winslow"
I had no problems Kristy was the only employee that mention to me that because of my standing with Best Western that I could have a free upgrade. In all of the Best Western hotels I have stayed in Kristy was the only one that mentioned that. The room was clean and the employees were very friendly and professional
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear Janet H, Thank you for recognizing Kristy, who is one of our star employees and an advocate of Customer Service. Like most small properties, we have limited rooms to upgrade our loyal Best Western Reward guests into. You must be a Platinum Rewards member, thank you for your continued loyalty to Best Western. I'm happy you mentioned the friendly and professional staff as well as our cleanliness, Mark, our GM works hard to accomplish it all. Happy Travels, Barbara Vogl
"Eagles Fan"
Great place to stay in Winslow AZ. Will definitely stay here again. Eagles fan - enjoyed the statue. Missed the flat bed Ford - maybe next time. Great staff. Enjoyable breakfast. Good location off I40.

"Lovely hotel"
Highly recommend this hotel. It's beautifully decorated inside. Plenty of Parking. Swimming pool. Breakfast is great. Lovely friendly staff. Rooms are immaculate. This is a great hotel all round. Winslow is just around the corner and so much to see for Route 66 enthusiasts!
Barbara V, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear Kimborella, We greatly appreciate your wonderful review. Our entire staff works hard to give good service and very clean accommodations. Its gratifying to know our guests like the upgraded breakfast menu and presentation we did in May. We constantly change things hoping for the magic formula that will please most people. Thank you for choosing the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. Safe Travels, Barbara
"Best Western Plus Winslow Arizona"
Worth the price. Is being remodeled but didn't cause any problems. The pool and breakfast were as you would expect for the price. We had a suite to accomodate our family of five. Winslow is a part of Route 66 and we enjoyed visiting it. The suite had a separate room with a sleeper sofa. Wish they had put a mirror somewhere else in the room so people could get ready using an area besides the bathroom.
"Wonderful Best Western in the middle of nowhere!"
If you are close to Winslow, Arizona & you need a wonderful place to stay, the Best Western PLUS Winslow Inn is the BEST there is! PLUS....there is a little Mexican restaurant across the road that has the absolute best Mexican food I have eaten in years! You will not be disappointed in either place.
"Conveniently located Best Western"
This hotel is easy to find from Route 66 and is just off the interstate. It is a good base for the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks. If you are travelling Route 66 and want a more traditional hotel, this is not for you, but it is modern, clean and comfortable and provides a complimentary and good hot breakfast.
"Great"
Brand spanking new and on the right side of town which means away from the railroad tracks. There are 70 freight and two passenger trains daily passing through that corridor so unless you are a retired engineer and love the toot toot then this is the place to stay. The room are spacious and the breakfast good. Try it!
"Don't tempt fate"
Northern Arizona is Beautiful, just like the entire state. So many outstanding sights to see makes car travel actually enjoyable. Please don't spoil your enjoyment of Arizona by making a poor selection of lodging. Here, you will find the comfort, cleanliness, and security you hope to find when away from home.
"Very nice hotel"
We stayed at this hotel after visiting the Petrified Forest National Park. It is a clean and pleasant hotel, close to the Interstate. We did not wish to drive an additional hour to Flagstaff, but wanted to shorten our journey to the Grand Canyon. This hotel was the ideal option for us. The town of Winslow has very limited options for dining though.
"Nice stop off the highway"
We stayed here based on TripAdvisor reviews and were happy we did.. Check in was great. Our room was nice. The lobby was well appointed. The breakfast area was small but the attendant did a great job of keeping the food hot and still cleaning the tables. The whole stay was wonderful
"Nice place...."
The Best Western Plus in Winslow was a great stop-over. It was comfortable and clean - the rooms are large and very well decorated. The location was perfect, as well. The hotel is on a street that has very few other businesses, so there's not traffic or congestion. Definitely the best place to stay in Winslow!
"Very nice hotel"
This was a very nice hotel. It was clean, new, and comfortable. Check in was quick and staff had many good suggestions for restaurants in the area. A free breakfast was offered. There was an indoor pool.
"Great stopover."
Immaculate hotel, appears to be quite new. Very large room and a good breakfast. Reception and dining staff really friendly. Very close to a travel centre with a Denny's. More places to eat further along the freeway.
"Road Trip"
We were going to Albuquerque again and make this is our stopping point along the way. The rooms are comfortable and property is clean. The staff is always friendly. We had breakfast and was good as always. Its a good location close to the highway but you will not hear road noise from any of the rooms we have stayed there now several different times in different rooms.
"Outstanding Customer Service"
Stayed here overnight to attend the Adopt a Native Elder Program on the Navajo Reservation the following day, While enroute to the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the front desk offering a room upgrade...and early check in!!! The pleasant courtesy of the staff continued throughout the stay. Front desk also recommended a nearby delicious authentic Mexican restaurant. The woman in charge of breakfast service managed to keep hot food coming while wiping every table and greeting every guest. Did I mention the rooms were immaculate? I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again! I'd jump on it!!
"Nice hotel"
I stayed here for one night on my drive back from California to Texas. The room was very clean, staff were excellent, ample parking. I felt very safe being a woman and being alone at this hotel. I left early so I cannot comment about their breakfast.
"Good Winslow Choice"
There are limited hotel options in Winslow. This is one of the best available. It's just a little off the beaten path, which is nice. The staff is very friendly, even the housekeepers. The facility itself is nicer than most Best Westerns, featuring a nice lobby area and clean, comfortable rooms. The negatives are the proximity to the train tracks and the thin walls. Rowdy neighbors sound as though there are in your room. But overall, it's a good choice given the alternatives.
"Standing on the Corner... This is a very nice place to rest"
We stopped on our way to the Grand Canyon and weren't disappointed. Staff at check-in were very pleasant and helpful. Clean, appeared newly updated. They offer a full hot breakfast.... wish we had been able to take advantage of it. The 3 hour time difference had us leaving almost 2 hours before serving... but the staff provided a "to go" bag for each of us... simple fruit, water and granola bar but it hit the spot and kept us going until our breakfast stop later. Pool was nice and worth a dip. They also had a mini-mart section for snacks and various items... which is a good thing because there wasn't much left around town. We did stop downtown to see the "Standing on the Corner" tribute to the Eagle's song. Cool little spotlight. Also stopped at the DQ for a snack... the town also boasts a Sonic drive-in. Some museums, shops and bars but not a lot left in the little town but there is some growth near the interstate...
"Mixed strengths and weaknesses"
History: Originally built and opened in 1998. Renovated in 2013. Location: Near exit 255 from Interstate highway 40. 2 miles from central part of Winslow. Interior Decor: Better than average Best Western. Nice inviting lobby. Exterior Apperance: Located in fairly open area. 2 story hotel that looks inviting. Outside view from the room I stayed at (201): Hotel entrance, parking lot, open space, Interstate highway 40 Room Size: Approximately 50 square meters. Generously big size. Room Cleanness: Adequate Bathroom: Adequate size. A bit weak water pressure for showers. Noise Insulation: Poor. Thin walls - noise from guests around and traffic from Interstate highway audible. Price and Value: Reasonable Bed: King size. Mattress is a bit softer than desired. Smaller pillows than desired. Parking: No charge. Parked near the hotel entrance. Services: Professionally trained and friendly hotel staffs. Others: Small breakfast area - should double the area size to accomodate more people eating at the same time. Slow and unstable internet connection.
"You should stay here if you are in Winslow...."
We like a first floor room even though they have an elevator. Most of the staff is very friendly and cooperative. There is a new girl named Sisley or something like that who went above and beyond to help us. The room staff was very helpful and provided extra hangers and luggage carts when we asked. This motel is located near Petrified Forest, Navajo Reservation, Painted Desert and the quirky souvenir shops on Route 66,
"Excellent"
Great experience and it always has been. The place is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I just had a question about the price I was charged. Maybe I will be contacted by them for an explanation. I hope that I am.
"GOOD"
Nice place to stay over in route to Petrified Forrest and Painted Desert. Hotel staff made great recommendations for dinner and Breakfast on Route 66. Easy access to hotel off the main route. Hotel was recently renovated and was very comfortable.
"Excellent Stay"
The staff was friendly and helpful. It was extremely easy to find and had a great location off the freeway. The room was clean. I appreciated the non-sugary cereal option at breakfast as well as the non-dairy options. The pool towels were the best of any hotel we experienced on this trip west.
"Good place to stay"
We stayed here on our road trip across the States, and it's nice and clean, comfortable beds and a decent shower. Nice and quiet too considering it's convenient location near the I40. Also an easy 5 minute drive into Winslow. We have not found the breakfast at any of the Best Westerns to our taste but being able to grab a piece of toast or bagel before hitting the road is handy.
"A very good alternative..."
Usually in Winslow La Posoda is our first choice but the were full up the last time I went through...the desk clerk at La Posoda suggested the Best Western. Excellent choice. The BW was recently remodeled and everything was spic and span and the price was very right. I went to the Turquoise Room for dinner (fabulous dining...make a reservation). Bed was excellent, inside corridors always welcome when I'm traveling solo, very good morning breakfast, immediate access to the freeway; everything good.

"Love this place"
Second time I've stayed here. Beds are great. Rooms are clean. Very quiet. Breakfast was really good. For a free breakfast, the selection and service was wonderful. If I'm every close to Winslow, I will stay here.

"Avoid problems"
New towns can present lodging problems. Take the word of a business traveler and stay here, and avoid any problems. My room met my needs, the cost was very good, and the breakfast (free) served in the AM was the best you'll ever experience at a hotel (Make a fuss to Leslie who prepares the meals and makes certain you're happy). Enjoy!
"Winslow Az Gem"
You cannot go wrong with this hotel. The rooms are extremely clean and the Breakfast is very good with a nice selection to choose from. The internet connection is very good. Nice fitness room. Good value.
"Disappointing Customer Service"
We contacted the front desk for a late arrival and recommendation for dinner (Mexican). She was very accommodating on the phone and turns out her dinner referral was spot on terrific too. However after checking in and realizing the a/c did not function very well (never went below 72) and made strange noises we went to the front desk to request a fan and was told "we don't have any". No offer to look into the malfunctioning a/c. Later the toilet backed up so again we went to the front desk, explained the problem and requested a plunger. Again instead of offering to assist with the problem or contact their maintenance staff she just handed us a bucket and plunger. The next day I contacted the front desk to inquire how to get to the infamous "corner in Winslow Arizona". The front desk clerk started to give directions and changed twice so I asked her to just write them down and I would pick them up after breakfast. After a delightful continental breakfast which included fresh cut fruit and hard boiled eggs in addition to scrambled eggs (the typical option), bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, and hot & cold cereals we went to the front desk where the same front desk clerk was on the phone. It was determined after standing there waiting it was clearly a personal call by the terms of endearment expressed as well as the instructions of where in the kitchen something was left. No apology offered when she finally hung up, "I gotta go there are people here". In the end she handed us a scribbled piece of paper with barely legible handwriting and seemed miffed when I asked her to review it with me (an audible sigh and harsh tone were indicators). We stayed in 4 Best Westerns on our 1600 mile vacation through Arizona and Utah and I am glad to say this was the only one with such poor customer service. Thankfully this was a one nighter only and we were on our way to better travels after this.

Dear Islandfoodie, Thank you for taking time to do a very detailed review of the Best Western Plus Winslow Inn. I can't tell you how sad I was to read about the way you were treated by our Front Desk Agent. I assure you we take these things to heart and will make sure the Agent understands how detrimental her actions were. I hope you give us another opportunity to show you our "normal" service standards when you are next in our area. Barbara
"Great Hotel"
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and it keeps getting better each time I stay. I have never had any problems and the hotel is upgraded constantly! This is the most up to date and cleanest hotel in the area. Conveniently located on the east outskirts of Winslow, next to Interstate 40. All of the staff make you feel welcome and comfortable.
"Excellent Hotel."
The staff was so very friendly especially Kristi, Couldn't have been any nicer. Every thing was so clean, comfortable, and using the wifi in the lounge area was excellent. Breakfast was tasty and good.
"Great Overnight Stay"
Stayed at this Best Western Plus hotel on a Wednesday night in late March. Hotel is in great condition overall. Room was very comfortable with one exception. The heating and cooling unit was very loud and noisy. Breakfast was good, but not great. They did however, have fresh oatmeal! Overall a great stay. Would definitely stay here again, as this was our second stay. Maybe your best choice in Winslow.
"Great experience"
We just happened to find this place before getting to Flagstaff(our nights destination). Tired so pulled in and had a great room for a great price. Everything was super. Stayed there as well on the way back. This is our new stop!
"Great place to stay!"
Stayed two nights with my family. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, well organized and convenient for visiting downtown Winslow and the Petrified Forest. Although very close to I-40, the hotel was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. It was the standard two queen bed layout. It had all we could ask for. Breakfast was great. The nice lady kept refilling eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, hot biscuits, gravy, milk, fruit and cereals. She was very nice and our son enjoyed talking to her. We really appreciated the good food.
"Awesome Desk Staff"
The desk staff were attentive and professional. I frequent hotels for business, and although this was a family trip, I would place the front desk staff of this location in the top 5! This Best Western was nicely run and the indoor pool a bonus on cold nights.
"Newly renovated and nice "
Stopped over night on the way to Sedona. I called Kristy who promptly got me a room. Upon check in, she was very efficient and friendly. The rooms were new and clean. We had a wonderful nights sleep in the comfy beds. The next morning Kristy was there again making breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! Kristy was her helper made sure everyone was feed, cleaned up after everyone, and insured we were happy. I highly recommend this hotel! Moderately priced and easy on/off from I40.
"good choice"
Quiet, good price, friendly staff, best hotel breakfast on our 9 day trip across the southwest. had thought about staying at La Posada but decided to spend extra money elsewhere. very glad we stopped here!

"Winslow's preferred Lodging"
While driving through the town of Winslow I came upon a small motel called "Sleeping on a Corner in Winslow Arizona", which was obviously a play on the words from the Eagles hit "Take it Easy", where the words "standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona" were included. I thought of people making their first trip to AZ and seeing the name of the place on the internet and making reservations because the name's so "cute." My dear Lord, the place was not too modern, and the word discomfort comes to mind. Stay at this Best Western and avoid the agony of disappointment elsewhere!!!

"Great side trip thru AZ"
The room was clean and comfortable. Had a good nights sleep and good breakfast! The eating area was spotless and the attendant was friendly and fast with the whatever anyone wanted. Was perfect place to go stand on the corner in Winslow Arizona!
"Always clean, comfortable and safe"
I stay at this hotel when I travel between Oklahoma City and California, which is two to four times per year. It's always a pleasant place to stay, but most importantly it feels safe. Beds and pillows are comfortable and the breakfast is always good. This is the only hotel I utilize when I make the trip. And there's a cool "Standing on the Corner in Winslow Arizona" photo op downtown, complete with a statue of Glen Frey.

"Quiet & Restful Over Night"
After a long day of driving, it was so refreshing to have a personable, friendly person front desk greet me with my keys and restaurant details! As s solo traveler, elevator really nice for getting to ones room. Spacious, clean and very comfortable room. Breakfast with variety of choices including hot entrees. Nice stay!
"Easy access and good value"
This is a very nice hotel. It is conveniently located near I40 and easy to get to and back on the interstate. Very good service and quick check in. Breakfast was very good and hot items were actually hot. Good coffee also. Great value for a hotel.
"best western in winslow az was high quality"
our experience at the best western in winslow was excellent. we got in pretty late and were greeted warmly and checked in quickly. the room was very nice and extremely clean. the beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and we had a good night's sleep. the breakfast set up was also high quality, far better than many other motels. the service was excellent and the food quality was good. all in all, our experience was top notch.
"Great accommodations in Winslow"
The Best Western in Winslow is one of two acceptable accommodations in Winslow. The included breakfast was tasty and the room was nicely remodeled with tile. It's a sleek new look for the dusty old town.
"Excellent stay"
Very nice hotel....There were alot of families staying here as there was a Wrestling Tournament in town. I did not hear any noise nor was I disturbed in anyway. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met.
"Mrs Guzy"
Very nice hotel. Greeted by a very pleasant front desk clerk. Lobby was very welcoming. Room was very clean and looked like recently upgraded. Always a plus for a comfortable bed after a long day of travel. Breakfast was the best we had on this trip. Only drawback was location, not much of anything else at that exit. There was a Denny's down the road a bit.
"Wonderful stay!"
Very pleased walking in the door ! Very clean and fresh! It smelled like new paint and carpeting. Front desk person was so nice. Gave list of restaurants for dinner. I was traveling alone and they were so accommodating! Room was wonderful....spacious and spotless ! I would highly recommend ! Only problem is no pets, but sometimes that may b a good thing.
"Wonderful!!"
This Best Western Plus lives up to the name! The rooms are newly renovated and the entire hotel feels fresh and welcoming! In addition to being a nice place to stop and rest, it was right off of the highway and the parking was plentiful! Last, but not least, I want to comment on how courteously and professionally every staff member treats guests!!! It is obvious that the management sets the standard of excellence!!! Whether you encounter Kristy at checkin, Leslie at breakfast, a member of housekeeping in the hall or the maintenance person on the way to the elevator, you are greeted with a smile and a genuine desire to meet your needs as a guest!! Keep up the good work!!!
"Convenient, clean and comfortable hotel"
Stopped here for the night on our way to Phoenix. Desk attendent was friendly and helpful. Provided us with a map and restaurant recommendations. The room was nice sized and clean. Beds were comfortable. Internet service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was typical with good food and a nice staff person who cleaned our dishes away promptly. As a bonus we found Winslow to be an interesting place. If you get a chance check out the La Posada historical hotel on old Route 66.
"Modern, Fresh and Beautiful"
We were SO delighted that the moment we walked into The Best Western Winslow that it was modern, fresh and beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were in dire need of a rest after a long drive and BW Winslow was an updated and refreshing stop. The internet was fast and room was newly renovated. The hotel was quiet, the breakfast tasty and the lady taking care of breakfast was very genuine, helpful, and nice. Even the details such as the toiletries were wonderful. Aromatic shampoo, conditioner and lotion, which were called Desert Breeze I think? Which I though was wonderful and relative to the area. Such a nice detail. We were so happy to discover this oasis on our long trip. We stayed in The Best Western Kingman and was very disappointed. It was tired, smelled, and dated. And ironically more expensive. So Best Western WINSLOW will ALWAYS be our stop when we travel that long trip to LA. THANK you!
"So so"
This hotel was just ok. It was clean, but beds were not overly comfortable. Very dark. It sufficed, but it could use a little comfort added to it. There are not a huge amount of options in Winslow, and it was quiet.
"very clean hotel"
this hotel was very clean, rooms, lobby, and Breakfast area were kept in very clean & sanitized conditions I was very impressed & that's what I look for when I'm looking for a room for a couple of days. Good job best western !!
"A great surprise"
We had planned on staying in Flagstaff where there were more options, but with the New Year's Eve weekend and skiing in full swing, the rooms were few and the prices jacked up about $40-50 above what we wanted to spend. I called the Best Western in Winslow, AZ and was not excited at the prospect. The photo online was drab and the reviews mediocre. What a pleasant surprise! For under $100 we had 2 queens in a newly renovated room. The beds were extremely comfortable and wrapped in a lovely comforter w/duvet sheet covers. It was very clean and plenty big. The desk clerk was pleasant and helpful and they stocked snacks including TV dinners (I was starved and it was nearly 8PM). The dinner cost only $4-no price gouging. After a wonderful nights sleep, we tried the breakfast. Another great surprise! The coffee was excellent-best I have had outside a coffee shop. There were eggs, pancakes, cereal (hot and cold), sausage, a variety of drinks, muffins, biscuits and gravy and excellent fresh fruit cut up into a fruit salad. The attendant was friendly and kept the area stocked and spotless. I would definitely stay at the Best Western in Winslow again.
"Wonderful Winslow!"
My wife and I have been staying at the Best Western Plus Winslow since 2009 due to the outstanding customer service from it's staff (Daphne, Laurie, Samantha). The property and room amenities are top rate. Always clean and up to date. The full breakfast (included) is the best we have encountered in our travels for its quality and selection!
"great place to stay"
Clean and quiet hotel with great breakfast service. Rooms are being renovated and are in great condition. Staff was friendly. The location is away from other hotels and very quiet. There is a little indoor pool available. Breakfast is good and plenty of items to choose from.

Staff will lie to you about extent and area of construction. Be sure to look where they are putting you before you pay. We were told that construction was only up stairs and after we paid for our downstairs room and turn the corner did we see the tarps and ladders out side our room. They had to know because that hall was the only way to their office.
lodgingowner, Owner at BEST WESTERN PLUS Winslow Inn, responded to this review
Dear Jeff L, I was sorry to read your review of our hotel, especially that you believe the Front Desk agent lied to you. Our staff may not always communicate correctly, but we are very fortunate to have honest team members. We were doing major renovation to all the 2nd floor rooms to update the bathrooms with new bathtubs and tiled walls, along with new carpeting and furniture. That project was completed Christmas week. We then started a project to upgrade our hallway lighting on both floors. The construction people were not working in any 1st floor rooms, only in the halls between the hours of 9AM to 5PM, so they wouldn't disturb our guests. Our improved lighting job will be completed within the next 7 days. Since this TripAdvisor review is the 3rd place you have noted your displeasure, we get that you were very upset the FD agent didn't the Hallway lighting work that was being doing to upgrade the property. We value reviews and include the feedback in our capital improvement plans. Two years ago, people often mentioned that we had no elevator so we added one. We've had negative comments of a squeaking noise in the upstairs tubs, so we took out the fiberglass bathtubs and now have sturdy cast iron tubs. Many people mentioned we needed better lighting in the hallways causing us to do the work you encountered. Jeff, your review will be used in training to help insure the staff understands they should give more information and not assume the public will understand things we don't explain. We are excited about the upgrades to our hotel and hope you give us another chance. Again, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your experience. Barbara Vogl Owner
"One of The Best!"
This is one of the best properties in the chain! Clean! Friendly! Plenty of Parking! Great Breakfast! We arrived late in the evening and were tired. The check in process was quick and everything was nice and clean and ready for showers and Bed. Next Morning we had a wonderful complimentary Breakfast with many choices of meat, eggs, pancakes, cereal's and Breads. All were up to par!
"Thank You"
I was unable to make my reservation due to an emergency call from a customer. Although the front desk personnel was unable to cancel my reservation, the manager Mark Ross handled and remedied the situation. Thank you for understanding the changing needs of a business traveler.
"Great motel "
On a road trip . Picked this based on reviews. Great room, nice beds with nice bedding and quiet . New carpets and clean with no smells which is big for me. Breakfast was adequate and included in rate . Probably one of the better places in Winslow ::))
"Nice Quiet Hotel"
If you are looking for a nice, quiet hotel to take a break from a long drive or trip, this is the place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and delicious breakfast. Right off the interstate, but far enough away so traffic noise does not disrupt your stay.
"Pick another hotel"
Due to an emergency I had to cancel my reservation a bit after the cutoff time. The person who answered the phone cared nothing about the needs of a business traveler and declined to cancel my reservation. I paid the $104 and will choose another brand on future business trips.
"great breakfast but loud room doors"
I really enjoyed my room and the breakfast the next day but overtime someone opened their room doors I could hear the doors shutting. Staff was great. my room was huge and had a great easy chair to watch tv.
"Review of Best Western Plus, WinslowAZ"
This is our second stay as a guest of the Best Western Plus. This was a great option for us and because of the courtesy, treatment and service at this motel we returned when business brought us back to the area. Everything was clean and must have been really new. The staff was the best part. They were so great to us. They allowed us a late check out which was helpful to me. I loved the people who were so friendly and kind. My husband was working and so I was at the motel all the time. I spent a lot of time in the fitness center (which is well equipped) and chatting with people at the front desk or in the halls. Thanks to your staff I enjoyed my stay. They are super people.
"Great Place"
It doesn't look like much from the outside because it appears to be somewhat desolate, but you will be pleasantly suprised. It appears to be either a brand new location or has been very recently remodeled, but the decor is beautiful. If you have an opportunity, stop! You will be glad you did!
"Subpar Best Western Plus"
We stayed in this hotel in Wilcox, expecting BW Plus' usual high standards. This one fell far beyond our usual stays satisfaction. The a/c didn't work properly. I need a cool room to sleep in and to cool off after a shower. The a/c just didn't cool properly. The breakfast was one of the worst ever. I attribute it to the breakfast attendant. The items were the usual for a hotel like this, but it was terribly re-stocked. Sausage never replenished. Pancake batter slow being replaced. Potatoes were like cardboard.
"Stay at Winslow"
We stayed at Winslow on our way home from Las Vegas We stayed at the best western because it is the best option in Winslow. The hotel was good and I would recommend it. The room had a slight order as it may have been smoked in at some time but not too bad. I would suggest not staying in Winslow if you can avoid it.
"Stayed here for trip to Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest"
Location was very convenient off Interstate 40, easy on, easy off. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is not in town but within minutes of downtown Winslow. Not too far from The Grand Canyon, south rim and about 1 hour from Petrified Forest National Park. The purpose of our trip was to visit those two parks.
"clean, comfortable, quiet"
Our reservation was ready when we got to the hotel. Beds were comfortable and the room good size. Breakfast was cold and the oatmeal was was very runny. overall I would definitely stay there again. the room price a bit high, but that is the area.
"A Good Place to Stay"
There isn't a lot going on in Winslow so other than the La Posada, where does one stay? This is a good place! First off, the front desk staff is very nice. They also seem to remember people from day to day. That's a nice touch. Housekeeping was very thorough.
"Standing on the Corner"
I have stayed here several times and every time its a wonderful experience The staff is courteous and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable. It is a great stop over between Ca. and New Mexico. I Highly recommend this hotel
"Personal Trip"
Very good hotel but very limited restaurants nearby although the Denny's at the truck stop nearby was way above most other Denny's. This was a good choice for a one night stay that is away from the tourist crowd at the area sights.
"Stellar Customer Service"
I have been staying at the Best Western PLUS Winslow Inn since 2009 when traveling. I have always enjoyed great customer service from Daphne at the front desk upon arrival. I have been spoiled by Leslie's wonderful breakfasts in the mornings. They are always well-prepared and of fresh quality. Did I mention this is a FULL breakfast and not a bowl of corn flakes? The employees' attention to detail is obvious from the cleanliness of the Inn to the care they exhibit to their guests.
"Met expectations"
We were looking for a clean, quiet place to stay overnight and were pleased with this place. The staff was efficient and friendly. We were surprised to find interesting points of interest in Winslow beyond "Standing on the Corner", such as a 9/11 memorial consisting of two steel beams from the towers and the flag over the Pentagon. Also enjoyed walking through the exterior gardens and interior of the beautifully restored La Pasada hotel. On the down side, not a lot of quality restaurants in town, although there was a cute diner near " the corner " that unfortunately wasn't open that night.
"Nice but a little out of the way"
Lots of trucks in the area, on the East end of town. Very clean and nice staff. We went for a walk in the morning. A little dicey with a lot of truck traffic in the area. but once away from that and on the old Rte 66, nice and quiet. Hotel is about 1.5 miles from town, but town is not that much. Just a interstate town and a famous corner. Lots of boarded up buildings. Just stayed one night.
"Weekend Overnighter"
Had a very nice stay. Room was very clean & quiet from outside noise. Breakfast was great, but the gravy was very watery. (Could have just been a bad batch). Was a bit pricey compared to several other motels in the town that were closer to our destinations.
"Bad Bad Location."
Stay as far away from here as possible. Not one medium place to eat. Location of the Hotel is a depressed, poverty impacted, dusty. If you want to stay here, save yourself money and stay in a local 25.00 hotel that rents rooms by the hour, instead of paying 100.00 for this place.
"Wifey visit :)"
This place was very nice, clean, comfortable rooms and beds room was spacious we got a great deal for a suite!! I guess the only thing is they forget to take the trash out from some areas which I saw in another review but for price and location it's the best Hotel we have stayed at in Midland definitely will be our New Hotel :)!!!! Very clean smell when arrived and the breakfast area is large and food was great!! Staff is also very friendly!!
"Very nice property"
This was a very nice property. The lobby was attractive and colorfully decorated. This was the final of 5 Best Western stays on a 2 week road trip. I found that the brand is consistent overall, and will keep Best Western in mind for future vacations. The property had the appearance of being rather new, but I found out that there had been remodeling at some point in time. The room had a comfortable bed, small fridge and free WiFi. There was an indoor heated pool just off of the lobby. The property is 2 stories with an elevator. There is a full, hot breakfast also. It is on the outskirts of town just off of the freeway. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would gladly return.
