"Good descent hotel"

Visiting to look at Rowan in Glassboro. Getting to hotel from Philadelphia was easy, but be sure not to drive to fast on the road as the entrance to the hotel is not very obvious. Room was good and clean. We had a breakfast included. Friendly staff. Beds ok. Our room was facing to the back of the hotel which was quite nice as there is absolutely nothing but nature. Very quiet.

So, my husband I were in town to visit a friend and decided best to grab a room for the night. So naturally we booked a room here due to the reviews. Oh boy! The room we stayed in had a faint odor of lingering smoke the bathroom was not properly clean as there was still toothpaste on the tap of the sink and the room was dusty. The carpet had a burn hole and the chair stained and just gross. This room was awful!!! Never again will we stay here. Beware of room 104.

This Best Western was clean and spacious. The staff was attentive and kind. The housekeeping staff was wonderful. They worked around our timetable. The laundry room was easy to get to and the cost was very reasonable. It is located near the Amish Market!!! Several diners are a short drive away. The larger room we had was truly beneficial for us! We plan on returning. Thanks for the great stay!

We were there for a wedding. A large group all had reservations and they lost the Mother of the brides reservation and would not make good causing her to stay alone at another hotel while the rest of the party stayed here! They also gave away our reserved bridal suite to someone else....we had to fight to get it back! The hotel's so called breakfast sucked! Highly do not recommend!

I received the phone call two days prior the wedding date to book the rooms. we were completely sold out on Friday and Saturday, but i went over all the Friday and Saturday reservations and found couple credit card was declined so i called and confirmed from one of the guest is not staying with us, so i reserved that room for bride's mother for one night and informed her that i might will extend her stay on Saturday if it will be possible. I heard from the group that she will be sharing the room with someone so i thought everything is fine.(Did't heard anything after that). If you remember that i gave you the Bridal Suites room in five minutes right after it came to my attention, We didn't had arguments or anything to honor you the Bridal Suites room.( I have apologize to you for this error and have asked you many times about how is everything and let me know anything else you need during the stay, and your response was everything is fine and thank you for the Bridal Suites room) Once Again! The Staff was very patient and kind. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. We will also recommend hotel for our soccer club. Amminties were also an added bonus for the kids they really enjoyed the pool.

Very clean, well - kept hotel! My family and I have stayed here several weeks. The staff is kind and courteous from the desk to the housekeeping! You can't beat the comfortable rooms, lovely indoor pool and Continental Breakfast! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Whatever I ask for, they are able to assist me.The complimentary breakfast is on time and great options. The cleaning is impressive. The welcome counter makes you feel at home and warm.

Flying in for my Family's Family reunion during the Labor Day Weekend was full of obstacles. Decent Hotels were a premium in the Southern New Jersey Area during this busy weekend. We were fortunate to have booked the Best Western Hotel for our stay. The room was clean, service was nice and the location on the Black Horse Pike in Monroe was great. We had easy access to connecting roads and highways that took us to the Jersey Shore and back. Will definitely stay there again next venture.

Great value. Nice rooms! Nice pool! Great breakfast! My kids loved making their own waffles and the complementary chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. Excellent choice for an excellent price! My family would definitely stay here again.

"Do Not Stay Here"

Ask yourself how bad this hotel is that I would create a TripAdvisor account at 4:30 am. Our goal was a clean hotel en route to Jersey Shore. Our room smells musty and moldy and everything feels damp even the carpets. The wallpaper is bubbled and peeling at the ceiling a sign of an active water problem. When I went back to the lobby to get more towels another guest and his wife were complaining of a musty and moldy smell in their room. Our toilet clogged and I went to front desk. The young man was very nice but had to ask the manager where the plunger is and the manager was not in the least surprised by the request. (No offer of help or apology from the manager by the way). At 4 am our smoke detector starting beeping. The same young man came up and took the battery out. (Can't get a new battery because maintenance man not available at 4 am). My impression is the management is trying to give the surface impression of being clean but is not addressing routine maintenance (e.g. not replacing batteries in smoke detectors on a routine basis) or making needed capital improvements. I am a fairly frequent traveler (30 nights a year for 10 years) and I can't think of a worse hotel experience I have had.

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights while visiting NJ. Because I'm a member of the Best Western club, we were given a welcome bag when we checked in. The bag had a bottle of water, a diet soda, and some snacks. What a nice unexpected surprise. The hotel was easy to get to from the Atlantic City airport, and on a main road with a lot of restaurants nearby. We were able to check in early with no problem. Our beds were SO comfortable. I don't know if they had new bedding or they were new beds, but we fell asleep almost as soon as we laid down. The front desk was helpful with giving us directions to local stores and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast includes pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereals and a waffle maker. No eggs or bacon or anything like that but still a nice breakfast for free. I don't drink coffee so I was happy to see they had a juice machine. There is a business center which is really just one computer and a printer but still convenient for printing our boarding passes for our return flight. There is no restaurant, no bar, no activities at the hotel. They do have an indoor pool. The front desk said it was heated so I was excited to try that out. However, the water was still too cold for me. I planned to hang out in the pool and read, but I got right out after trying it out. Not a bad place but you just have to leave the site if you want to do anything.

"Nice but not up to par"

Hotel on first look was very nice and bedding seems updated. Found a hair on our toilet seat so I had to wipe bathroom down myself. Breakfast did not include eggs or sausage/bacon as I would expect from these chain hotels. Only hot things were pancake and waffles that you make yourself and kids did like that. Water pressure in shower very low. Staff, however, was very nice,

i tried to get a two day stay in March. The site went through Booking.com and after I paid I noticed the dates had changed to two days in early April. I went in person to this hotel THAT DAY to try to work out the situation and the attitude was "we don't care if you stay or not, we don't refund if a website got the wrong dates". Best Western AND Booking.com will never get another penny from me. The only "good" thing was that the cleaning service got a break because the room was never touched.

"High pet fees"

Okay for a quick one night stop. Expensive with 2 small dogs. ($50.00 extra). Poor breakfast selection compared to other Best Westerns. Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom. Good overall cleanliness. Good outdoor pet area.

My daughter recently got married in Sicklerville Nj, well being that we live in philly we thought it would be great to stay at the Best Western Monroe Inn & Suites so that we could be close to the hall anyway we ended up renting out about 14 or so rooms on a Friday of the wedding..Tom who is the manager went above and beyond to help us get settled in and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect ...we even rented the shuttle to take us to and from the hotel...I can not say enough about Tom and his hotel except thank you from the bottom of my heart, YOU ROCK.. Stayed here in a pinch when our electric was out for over 24 hours in the last Nor'Easter that hit NJ. Staff was very friendly and accommodating (had a great sense of humor!). Being a Rewards Member we were given a "goodie" bag upon check-in, which was much needed and appreciated after not eating all day since we were unable to cook. Beds are very comfortable!

Staff real friendly and took the time at last minute to give us the best possible room and price. Also worked hard to make sure the family members where taken care of during their time of loss. Explain the amendaties and times available, if they needed anything to just ask. Good Staff on late at night.

I would rate this hotel at the low end of acceptable and value. I would not choose this hotel again on another trip to this area and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who asked. I will think very hard about choosing a Best Western on our upcoming trips.

omg, we booked the honey moon suite, ok nice nice, working hot tub, but really bath we had fill, no it won't stay warm, but still only took about 15 mins to fill. the public restroom right door on 1st floor was not a welcome feature...you hear the to dispense. and the shower whistles, and fridge is loud. bit the was wonderful. overall 3 stars. it was convenient to breakfast bar.

"An amazing staff and Hotel"

I had to relocate temporarily due to an emergency with my home being worked on. Everyone was very helpful and patient with me during the most stressful time. They accommodated my every need during my stay. I was and still am impressed with their customer service. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too, my children loved it. They enjoyed swimming in the pool too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend to traveling for business. I certainly use this hotel again for my little weekend getaways to relax and recharge.

The room was not vacuumed for 3 days until I requested. The hallway still had the same "stuff" on the carpets from the time of our arrival. The mirror was never cleaned, again same smears and spots until our check out. I decided to take a tissue and wiped the one corner in the bathroom and it was full of hair and dust. There is no accountability and while the front desk are friendly, they are not concerned other than to say: Sorry. Again a request as no towels in the pool area. Wonder when the pool is cleaned and the whole area. There is no oversight of the staff or the problem is short staffed, while important, the front desk is more concerned with looking at the computer. I've stayed many times but no more.

"Multiple stays and very satisfied..."

I have stayed at other hotels in the area and can confidently recommend this place after multiple stays. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the place is very quiet. They serve a continental breakfast including hot waffles to start the day and the staff has been very helpful and courteous. I have also taken advantage of the pool and gym. (The gym consists of a treadmill, elliptical, and exercise bike, but it is great at the end of the day.) Lots of restaurants in the area! It is a great value.

My family & I love this hotel! We stayed at this hotel for almost 3 months about 4 years ago when our home was being repaired from water damage. My kids were super little at the time but they always speak highly of being at this Best Western & remember it fondly. We actually live near by but chose stay at 2 nights at this hotel for my boys' birthday weekend. They were thrilled! It was lovely to see the same cleaning crew still there from when were before. They are a sweet & kind couple. Our only issue was the temp of the pool as it was pretty chilly for me but the kids still enjoyed it mostly. My newly 10 year old son says you have the best breakfast EVER! God bless & take care!

The woman who checked us in did not seem very nice or friendly. Her attitude was enough to affect my overall review.Other than that, our visit was more or less good. The rooms were clean, spacious and had all the amenities that I needed. The lady whom I assume does the general janitorial work for the hotel was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Got charged 5 TIMES for my room and still have not seen the refund. I talked to two employees about the issue and both told me it would be fixed and they would talk to a manager. I have still seen no return and was never followed up with. I will be calling tomorrow if I do not see the funds returned.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked clean as did the small fitness room.

We were given room 104 first and when we arrived there was a strong smell of smoke accomplices with cigarette holes on the carpet. There were disgusting stains on the carpet as well as the furniture. I immediately called front desk and they were able to change our room. We were upgraded to a King suite. Room was much better but the hotel needs to update. It wasn't horrible especially for the price. The breakfast was the best part.

I was disappointed because the hotel we usually stay at when visiting the area was full. The thought of staying somewhere different three days because of a wedding in the area made me apprehensive about the trip. I was pleasantly surprised about our stay. The rooms were clean, the manager and staff were kind and courteous, and the price (value for the dollar) was good. We talked to the manager frequently who explained that they have recently done some improvements and they are working on some more. We wound up paying less than we would have for the other hotel and would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This hotel is in a good location. We stayed for a wedding in the area and had 3 rooms. Every room suffered from the same issues. The carpets are old, stained, and smelled. The vents in the bathrooms were extremely loud. The wallpaper was falling off in several spots. There are not many choices in the area for a hotel room. We booked a weekend where Rowan University had an event that resulted in many already booked hotels.

It is a good value. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is very good. Some foods have been upgraded. Although carpets are clean in the rooms, they could be updated as it has a damp feel when walking barefooted.

The room smelled of both smoke and urine. Stains on carpeting. Some goo hardened onto the table legs of the desk. Stains on the walls. Bring your Lysol! Much needed updating required - new wallpaper, new carpeting, a shower curtain. Remarkably the beds were extremely comfortable.

Mr. Patel gets an 11 for an outstanding and professional job that he performed for me and my wife, she stayed at the Hotel while I was conducting OSHA training for my So. Jersey employees and was very pleased with the staff and how they provided her service. we have stayed at many Hotel during my company travels and was very impressed on how helpful Mr. Patel was when she needed assistance with minor issues such as directions to have a nice dinner, I have recommended this Hotel chain to all my co-workers in my department. The hotel was very nice on the outside and the lobby area. The only problem I found was the cigarette smoke smell in the room. I did go to front desk and inquire about the very strong smell in the room and asked for management to contact me. They front desk answer to the problem was to hand me a bottle of smoke out. I never did get a call from the manager. If they can address the smoke smell I would highly recommend the hotel

We stayed here so we could attend the Atlantic City Air Show. Hotels in Atlantic City were over priced if not sold out. This hotel is about a half hour from Atlantic City. The prices of this hotel is extremely reasonable. The hotel staff is fun to talk with, friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel for any reason: business, family and friends.

"Best Hotel in South Jersey"

I stayed here for 7 weeks from the end of July to The middle of August and never had a better experience. Everyone was friendly and always willing to help in any way they could. I was on business and I had to check in and out 3 different times over the seven weeks and every room I was in was always exceptionally clean and stocked with all the essentials. I recommend a stay here anytime you travel through South Jersey, you won't find a friendly staff or better stay.

The front desk staff were cheerful, pleasant, and very helpful. When we got in our room the AC was already going and the room was nice and cool. A pleasant surprise since we were in the middle of a heat wave. Our room was clean and presented very beautifully, the beds were very comfortable. I didn't do the normal tossing and turning I do in most hotel beds. The house keeping staff and mangers treated and talked to us like they knew us for years. They made our stay for the weekend very pleasurable. My daughter had bought a pair of sandals to wear for a wedding and didn't notice till after we got dressed for a wedding that the strap was broken off. We went to the front desk to ask for tape, the maintenance man was there and went a step further and ran up to the second floor to get some glue to fix her sandal. I just loved the Belgian Waffles with a large selections of toppings to go with it, and the all day coffee and chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. I wish I knew before I left home they ARE a dog friendly facility. The hotel over all was extremely clean including the pool and pool area; which me and my family enjoyed and had a ball in. I would rate this establishment with any 5 star establishment. I had such a nice time there I didn't want to go home.

For the price you pay this hotel was way overpriced. Internet service was awful, bed was uncomfortable, room was so small and dirty, air conditioning left everything damp, including the sheets. Bathroom and room smelled of mildew and mold. Awful experience.

Everything was good until the last night. Party started in the next room at 11PM. We left at 12:30 AM after 20-30 people kept going in and out EVERY FEW SECONDS. My Stay was very enjoyable. The Staff was very helpful,polite, and friendly. The room was very big and comfy. The bed goes without saying . I slept like a log. I cannot remember when I had such a relaxing sleep in a hotel. The Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. The Continental Breakfast was no other one I had ever had. In other places I can remember it being Coffee and a Donut, but not here. You had such a variety of different Breakfast Items to choose from.

The Best Western was the Cleanest and most Comfortable Hotel that we ever stayed at. The staff was very nice and was eager to make us as comfortable as possible. They have an indoor pool that is heated and has colored lights which is cool at night. Also has complimentary Breakfast and Coffee, the beds were very comfortable & the AC was great. Definitely would recommend staying here. 5 Stars all day long!!!!

Friendly staff and easy check in. Excellent breakfast. Great location to Glassboro. We traveled from Ohio to see our son graduate from there. This was the 4th time I had stayed at this particular hotel. I guess returning speaks for itself.

The room was not very clean, the ceiling in our bathroom was peeling and falling on our heads, the beds were very uncomfortable. No milk or seats available when we went to breakfast. Staff was very nice but this stay was not worth the money paid.

I stayed at the Best Western Monroe Inn & Suites on a business trip for the American Red Cross. What a great place. The owners, Tom & Megha are always working the front desk with a smile and will always take the time to chat with you. I reserved 7 rooms and everyone had a great time. Rooms are extremely clean. Continental breakfast everyday..perfect for business trips. Nice pool and fitness room. Not a big hotel which is nice and gives you more of a personalized service. Nice business center and meeting rooms. Free internet also. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again for business and pleasure travel. They get a 10+ from me! Staff is friendly and helpful. They work hard to keep the hotel clean and updated. Special requests for area of room is mostly honored. I requested a cot and it was seen to immediately. The manager took time to talk with guests and make sure that everything was satisfactory.

"EDP Soccer Tournament"

This was our first visit to this area. The hotels closest to the soccer tournament were not an option. I was pleasantly surprised with this Best Western hotel. Taking the scenic route it was only a 15 minute ride to the soccer tournament location. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable. The following morning running late the option to take a Grab bag was awesome! The gentleman at the front desk that morning was very pleasant and professional. I am an extremely picky when it comes to hotels. This is a place I would definitely recommend to others.

Needed a place to get away for a little and this hotel was the perfect getaway. The hotel is very clean and the staff is amazing. The location is great with many restaurants and places nearby. Quite place and the rooms are bigger then we first expected. Again the managers and staff were great and I highly advise the stay here.

"Quiet getaway"

My boyfriend and I got a room here for 3 nights, and we very much enjoyed our stay! We do not live far from the hotel but wanted a little getaway, and were very pleased with our choice. The staff was very helpful and kind, the location is great with many stores/restaurants/etc nearby. The manager Mr. Patel was especially helpful and is an extremely nice man. The hotel is quiet and clean which is a huge deal for us. We will certainly be back!

We needed a place close to my Father in laws house and we settled on Best Western. We had never stayed at a Best Western before an this one was clean, close by and had friendly staff. We would stay there again when needed. The breakfast was nothing special, but wasn't bad either.

My children live here and I don't stay with them i choose to stay at the Best Western in Williamstown, NJ. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. i didn't know until recently that there were rooms with a hot tub. The room was very nice. I would recommend this Best Western to everyone.

"Not too happy"

It took two tries to get us in a room. The first room was so cold we couldn't stand it and we are from New Hampshire! The second room was ok, but so noisy we couldn't sleep. They ended up changing our room to a handicapped room down stairs. Decided to only stay one night after booking for two. Pool was closed, they didn't know when it would be open. The other patrons in the hotel left us very uneasy. Too many loud, drunk low life looking people. The front desk staff were awesome however! They tried their best to make us comfortable.

Just looking to get away and relax with a Loved one for a little quiet romantic evening and some time spent to also see if this is a place that we will consider using out of all the hotels we have spent time in when traveling, or just visiting when we are out of town even for the purpose of vacation.

"Second visit...and my last"

This was our second (2 night) stay at the Best Western Monroe Inn & Suites, for a nearby family gathering. We had previously stayed in July of 2015, and our impression at that time was that the hotel was good overall, but needed some improvements. Management had responded that renovations were planned. Just over a year later, and the conditions at this hotel have slipped it down to a poor rating, for me. There has been virtually no upkeep since our last visit. Carpets were filthy, wallpaper was stained and peeling, furnishings and draperies were stained, and the hallways reek of stale cigarettes, even though the hotel is non-smoking. The air conditioning was efficient and fairly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, as well. Breakfast was served, with make-your-own waffles and pancakes, but their waffle iron must have been malfunctioning because the waffle I baked came out with raw batter in the center. Staff was very pleasant. The rooms are in desperate need of a thorough deep cleaning or total refurbishment. Until the shabby condition of the rooms is improved, I really can no longer recommend this hotel, especially at the price point they offer.

In town for a cross country meet at Rowan University. Very close by. Stayed in whirlpool room because it was only one left. Tub was great. Fireplace lovely. Bathroom was a little needy as there was hair in the sink. Bed comfy and pillows awesome. Good value for the price.

My husband and I went to hear our favorite cover band; instead of driving almost an hour back home at 1 AM; we decided to make a a little get-a-way of it. I work at a hotel so I was very observant; the front desk clerk was professional and check in took no time at all! Our room was immaculate, comfortable bed, bathroom was very clean and nice; love the fridge in the room to help keep our adult beverages cold. If we ever need to stay local for another event, this would be the place.

We stayed here on business. The hotel and room was clean. Staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was not very carb friendly muffins, waffles bagel, cereal etc and no eggs. It was located in an area that had a lot of restaurants for dinner.

We booked two nights had to leave after one. Staff was exceptional from check in to our last minute 2nd night cancellation. Desk staff and breakfast staff were all great. Breakfast was great - and included in the price (even had a pack and go bag with goodies for the day!) Room was what you'd expect, clean, good bed, well stocked bathroom. Only downside was the A/C - it only had one speed that was noisy.

This place is clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We were in town for a baseball tournament. The indoor pool is clean and refreshing. Don't let the warm temperature of the room scare you away. They had free cookies when you checked in! Laundry facilities on site.

Off the main drag, but close to everything. Great rooms and service was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Only about 45 minutes to Atlantic City beach and boardwalk. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We've stayed here the past 3 years over Labor Day weekend and will be coming back in 2017!

Coffee service provided all day long. Continental breakfast as advertised. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Liked the choice of firmness in the pillows. Did not access the pool, but it looked inviting. Easy to find with lots of parking. Internet service was fast.

We broke down and the tow truck driver took us to this hotel for the night. The rate was about what we expected, a little bit over $100 a night plus all the NJ Tax add- ons. First the positives: 1. Nice friendly front desk staff 2. Good Breakfast 3. Clean room and bathroom 4. Coffee Pot in room 5. Wifi Now the negatives: The bedding was absolutely terrible. We had a king size bed in the room and the sheets and a stained mattress cover were to small for the bed. The mattress cover was evidently one of those water proof kind, so it was very uncomfortable and it also would not stay on the mattress as it was too small. Worse than that, since the bedding did not fit, the sheets and mattress pad got all bunched up under you, making it impossible to get a good nights sleep. We contacted the General Manager via email when we returned home the next day and even included pictures of the stained mattress pad and the ill fitting sheets. We got back a canned message and he did not seem to have even read the problems mentioned in the email or looked at the pictures. He just asked us to come back and try them again and they would try to "exceed our expectations"! We will not recommend this to anyone as a place to "lay their heads" for the night until the hotel purchases new bedding.

Stayed here after attending a retirement party nearby. Staff were very nice, the rooms were clean. Continental breakfast options were more than adequate. Waffle and pancake makers are a nice touch. We are considering another stay as a get away.

Based on the good reviews I had read, I chose this BW but ended up being very disappointed. The facility seemed to be nice, the room was spacious and the bed was pretty comfortable. However, I saw some spot stains on the bed skirt and the carpet. Also the bathroom fan was too loud and every time I entered the bathroom I had to hear the scary sound since there was no light only or fan only switch. On top of it, the loose shower head too made the terrible noise that I had to hear all while I took a shower. But what bothered me more was the unbelievably inadequate and rude guest service from a couple of front desk attendants. At check-in, I presented my $25 travel card (one that was emailed to me by BW) on my phone to the night attendant but he instructed me to email it to him. I was standing right in front of him with all the information he needed but I still had to email him the travel card. It was after midnight so I didn't want to waste my energy. I emailed it to him as soon as I settled in. Next morning, I found out that he didn't deduct the $25 credit from my bill. I called the morning attendant but she couldn't or wouldn't help me. So I told her I was going to come down to show her the travel card on my phone. She responded, "Fine" in a very angry voice and hung up on me. I went to the front desk and showed her the travel card, she said "Oh, we don't do gift cards" and when she finally found the email I had sent to the night attendant, she said, "What you sent was an screen shot of the travel card, it could be anyone's," accusing me of committing a fraud or something. She apparently didn't know how to help me redeem the travel card. All she needed was the card number; I didn't have any issue with other BW hotels in redeeming the travel card even on the phone. I even actually had to point out to her the BW advertisement for "Stay twice and get a travel card" promotion set up right on her front desk, explaining to her that's how I got the travel card...for being a royal customer. To my disbelief, she started reading me the disclaimer about the travel card not being valid for use on any full pre-paid rates but I had made the reservation through BW, not Expedia or Orbitz. I had to explain that too OMG. She was rude and unprofessional from the beginning to the end while treating me, a BW gold member, like an idiot. Eventually she corrected the mistake but told me to come back to pick up the receipt. No apology for the inconvenience nor disrespect. These two attendants I dealt with need some serious customer service training to get at least closer to the level of the great BW staff I have encountered previously in other locations. I can say the same about their breakfast. It was not up to the standard of other BW hotels at all. Items were placed randomly all over so the quests often couldn't find cups, syrup, or utensils. How everything was laid out was just not logical. Coffee and tea were by the front desk and set up in a way that a lady of average height had to stretch her body to reach the hot water pot. Food lacked in variety and the generic type of yogurt as well as the pastry tasted less than average. Compare to other BW I have been to, it definitely was poor in quality and unsatisfactory. In addition, when we were checking out, a young boy came out of the elevator to walk the dog on a leash. The dog was maybe a pitbull or rottweiler, pretty intimidating and barking hard and charging at us and other guests. The front attendant didn't pay any mind. I love dogs and understand that pets are welcome at this hotel but it was seriously scary and unpleasant experience. I'm also a member of IHG, Sheraton, Marriott, etc., but I like BW for it's casual and easy-going atmosphere. I usually enjoy staying at other BW hotels and also regularly stay at a particular one in California only because I love the staff there. I'm sorry but won't come back to this BW.

Great mattress and comfort in the room, very nice staff, but skip the free breakfast. Free isn't worth anything if it's not good. Quiet location and ample parking. Best Western can usually be relied on to offer a comfortable and clean stay and this place does not disappoint in that respect.

I had a great stay at the Best Western while driving from Virginia and heading towards AC after stopping in DC. This hotel is only 45 minutes to Atlantic City and easy access to the AC expressway. I got the King room with a hot tub and fire place and the room was very nice. It was room # 111 and was the first room down the hall, so very close to entrance/lobby, and breakfast area. It was easy in and out which was perfect! The hotel is a smaller property, only 42 rooms, but the room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, AC worked great (but was missing 1 of 2 filters, and the room was clean.... Except the fire place mantle which disappointingly had a lot of dust. Also, the switches for the hot tub are on the opposite side of room, and I think the previous guest got the carpet wet getting out of the tub, to shut it off, as my socks got soaked walking by the fireplace/hot tub area. I did not hear any noise from guests, the hallway, or breakfast area which I believe was on the other side of my rooms wall. I just don't generally like first floor rooms as I had to always cover window wth black out shades for privacy. The front desk staff, both at check in, and out, were very friendly and respectful. They answered any questions I had and both asked about how my stay was/how room was. I also loved the coffee/tea available all day by the front desk. Breakfast was the only lackluster part of the stay, as it was on par with a lower end breakfast offering (i.e. Econolodge, HOJO, Ramada) with no hot items. I did like how they had lemonade as an option in the juice machine. I also really liked the strawberry waffle option and thought the BW logo in waffle was neat. There was breads, bagels, pastry, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and a oatmeal station with toppings. If I am ever in the area, I would stay again, as the hotel was clean, and convenient to the highway. The staff were very friendly and I loved the hot tub and it was cool having a fire place! 4 and not 5 stars due to no hot items at breakfast, small breakfast seating area, and dust on fire place mantle/wet carpet/missing filter in AC).

The place was acceptable and the staff was friendly I did view the manager berate of the staff publicly. Noticed that the same staff works there many hours in a row. I commented that to the staff and they stated the manager works the employees 12-16 hour shift with out giving them over time. Never stay here again after hearing that.

best place to stay in the Williamstown NJ area. have stayed there before. centrally located, easy access to Philly or roads leading to Atlantic City area. clean and staff is nice. would definitely stay there in the future.

"Great place to stay"

My second-floor room was spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was quite comfortable with a nice choice of pillows. My dog was with me; there were nice lawn areas with handy trash receptables for walking dogs. I also enjoyed a diner that was located about a mile down the road from this hotel. I will definitely stay here whenever I return to the area.

We stayed and were welcomed and very comfortable. The guy at the front desk was efficient and helpful. The breakfast was great,and Penetha,the woman assisting customers with the food,was professional, genuinely friendly, funny, sweet, and even gave me the waffle she had cooked for herself! "Aquarium visit"

On a whim during spring break we decided to go to see the aquarium and stay overnight with an indoor pool. We arrived at 3PM and our rooms were ready to go. We requested a connecting door but unfortunately the hotel was full but our 2 rooms were on the same floor across from each other. Fitzroy, the manager, immediately acknowledge our request and also called us to make sure everything was okay. The hotel is close to many options for meals. The children had so much fun in the pool and the breakfast was just perfect. Nothing fancy but many choices for families. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Best Western is a great corporation.

Close to the Aquarium in Camden and Philadelphia. 30 minutes away from the Aquarium - breakfast included, fitness center and pool. Everyone at the hotel was courteous and helpful - even fussing over the waffle maker for my grandson.

I like staying at this Best Western, it's very clean, their rooms don't smell like smoke at all, the hotel pool from what I understood was supposed to be heated, but my children stated otherwise. It's also very convenient to everything I wanted & need to go to. I would stay here again & again

Staff was very caring and nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If you miss breakfast, they have a to-go package that has an apple, bottle of water and a breakfast bar. Super amazing and I haven't yet experienced that level of care while traveling in quite some time!

Was attending a family gathering in near hotel. Several members of my family stayed here also. Nearby to several stores/malls and restaurants. Very friendly staff. very clean place. Only 2 floors with an elevator, so you didn't have to carry luggage far. Has a indoor pool and fitness room. Didn't get to use this time but hope to in the future.

The hotel was perfect for a nice family trip to the near by water park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and hello. The breakfast was nice, the rooms clean and it was an overall nice experience. As we left the lovely woman behind the front desk even treated my kids to some Valentine Conversation hearts. We plan on staying there again.

The stay was awesome.heated,lighted pool is beast.so much fun????????????????????????????????.The beds are comfortable and the staff was very nice.Good breakfast and easily accessible to lots of activities.Definitely recommend staying here if possible.

"Great Stay"

Suite with 1 king size bed and Jacuzzi was very nice and comfortable, no smells no issues. I bring cleaning supplies with me everywhere I go so of course I cleaned everything before enjoying my stay. Overall, I would most definitely stay here again. Young gentleman at the desk was awesome and very helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

"good staff, terrible accomodation"

The rooms need to be updated and upgraded. The beds are extremely old and outdated, they are uncomfortable and springs were felt all night. The heater/fan unit made odd noises, even when turned completely off that woke me continuously through the night. The shower made a loud hissing noise no matter what temp I put it on also. For the same cost per night, I was able to move over to a different hotel and have a suite. The only thing that was pleasant here was the staff.

"Great Staff, Average Facilities"

We stayed two nights while visiting family at New Years Eve. The hotel staff was very friendly (even providing the room at a much lower rate than I had reserved it for). The room was decent and pretty clean, but needs carpeting and some renovation. We have stayed here in the past (previous New Years Eve), and would stay again. Overall, the room seems a bit pricey for the level of amenities and room quality.

"family holiday"

staying at this best western is always pleasurable. The staff is always professional and helpful. I came to be with family here in Williamstown, NJ. The location was great in that it was not far from my family. I always stay here when I come to town.

"Nice and Conveniently located"

Attended a holiday event almost next door at The Estate at Monroe which provided the opportunity for our stay. We were greatly warmly and quite professionally by the Front Desk staff. The hotel is very clean. Our 'suite' was well appointed and the location was perfect for us. We'd gladly return to this Best Western .

"Dependable room and service"

Best Western are consistently good places to stay. Few hotels actually read and respond to the requests you list when you book. I always ask for an extra bath towel - I got 4! The breakfast was about average, cereal, bagels, toast and yogurt. Cinnamon-raisin bagels were a nice touch. A bit loud at breakfast with the TVs on and the staff bantering back and forth, but they were cheerful.

"Clean, courteous and good location"

We stayed here overnight with our Youth Basketball Team and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was very clean as were the rooms and pool. The room was big and the beds were comfy and had extra pillows (I always have to ask for extras). Staff was wonderful and complementary continental breakfast saved our team time and money.

"Nice Hotel"

We stayed here for a Dek Hockey Tournament in Gloucester NJ. This hotel was a very nice and clean hotel. Everyone was nice, the rooms were clean, everything was quite. I really enjoyed my stay here. The rest of the team stayed almost an hour away from the Dek, this hotel was located within 10 minutes and much nicer than the hotel the team stayed at. Great over value and price, I would stay here again.

"Lost my reservation"

Called over a month ago and reserved a queen suite as part of a block of rooms set aside for wedding guests. Didn't get a great feeling from the man who took my reservation, and realized after the fact that he did not provide a confirmation number. Called today just to put myself at ease. Surprise, surprise! They have no reservation in my name, and they do not have a room available to accommodate me. Now I have to stay somewhere else, away from my family and the rest of the wedding guests. Never again, Best Western. Never again.

Best we could find in the area at which we were staying. East coast was crazy. The folks at Best Western were very friendly and I believe went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. What ever we needed there was no question about us getting it like we found at other places. The staff were always friendly and would help us find other things that we were looking for.

"Soccer Tournament"

I can't say enough about how accommodating the staff was during our one night stay. My daughter and I were in town for the weekend and booked a room at another nearby hotel, only to arrive and discover that they gave our room away! We called Best Western and they were able to find us a room on a very busy night. Feeling relieved, we left to get something to eat, only to return to no parking spots. I went in to the front desk and the gentleman working moved his car for me to take his spot! Wow! Now that's customer service! The room was clean, the night was quiet, and the breakfast was just right! The woman working in the breakfast area even made my daughter a waffle. A terrific experience on a very busy, filled to capacity night. Will stay again next year...but I will be sure to book early!

"Great pet friendly hotel"

Great hotel, very quiet, amenities and rooms were updated and very nice. The room was very clean and up to date, they had a good number of cable channels and a nice area for pets. I would definitely stay here again.

"Non-smoking room smelled smokey"

Overall I was mostly satisfied with my stay here. I reserved a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke and had burn holes in the carpeting. Otherwise, the room was clean but needs remodeling. Breakfast was good, lots of options

"probably wouldn't stay again"

I arrived at my room and looked into the bathroom and there was paint chips all over the floor, toilet and tub. I went downstairs and told the front desk and housekeeping was right there and came up and vacuumed up everything. The front desk asked if I wanted another room, but I said no thanks, the room was really clean except for that. In the middle of the night I got up to go to the bathroom and as I was going back to bed, I heard a noise coming from the door. It turned out that people were trying to get into my room. They kept trying their room key in my door. When I said hello and asked what was going on, they asked if it was room 204 and I said yes it is, they said and it's occupied and I said yes it is. Ohhh sorry they said, meanwhile I was panicking thinking someone was trying to get into my room. Apparently the front desk gave them my room number but keys for a different room. Thankfully the keys didn't go the door, I probably would have had a heart attack seeing people walk in my room. Other than that, the room was ok, breakfast in the morning had a lot of choices, which was nice.

"Decent"

We only stayed one night passing through, but staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy. Internet was a little iffy but we managed. We had other plans for breakfast, so can't say how that was. TA wants 200 characters to submit this review,so what else can I say?

"Overall good, but a few issues."

We stayed in a first floor King for 1 night. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. Wired internet didn't work, but wireless was fine. Room had mini-fridge and microwave, a very comfortable bed, and efficient and reasonably quiet air conditioning. A standard continental breakfast was provided, with cereal, yogurt, muffins, breads and danish, hard boiled eggs, and a waffle maker. Staff was friendly and attentive. Some minor complaints...the TV had a peculiar setup that made it a little hard to operate, and there was a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway, even though all the rooms in that area were non-smoking. Probably our only serious complaint was with cleanliness..although the room appeared clean and the bathroom was spotless, I found that my white socks were black after walking on the carpet, so I think perhaps they need to give a little more attention to that.

"It was decent"

The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. They have an indoor pool that goes up to 5ft., a small gym, and continental breakfast. The stay was ok. Our A/C stopped working the second day and we had to be put in a different room, but other than that, the stay was acceptable
