Someone tried to enter my room in the middle of the night. The front desk disregarded my concerns by saying it was just kids and that it can get rowdy at night. The morning person blew me off also. No concern for patrons' safety. Never again. Bugs in the bathroom. Room phone did not work.

Visiting from Canada to see the Jays play. We arrived around supper time and I was shocked that the man at the front desk was not very friendly. I get that some people have off days so I let that slide. However, we got into our room and while putting our things away my husband looked in the closet and found a half eaten ceasar salad in there! I let the front desk man know about this and he didn't even apologize. Just said stuff like that happens around there and that housekeeping is terrible. Um ok. I also was not informed that for our three day stay we were not getting any housekeeping at all. After a ball game on the 2nd night I arrived back at the hotel around midnight and actually had to wake the desk clerk (a different one this time) up from his snooze on the couch in the lobby to get some clean towels. It took 20 mins to get them. I definitely wasn't impressed. I won't be staying at a best western “plus” again

I was in the area during hockey sport event and need to stay in hotel near by avenue. I specially picked hotel with label PLUS, but IMO this hotel is not getting to PLUS level compare to other Best Western PLUS hotels in different states. This one is a "little bit dusty", maybe because not some many people stay here in past 12 months.

Hotel was older but in pretty good shape though worn around the edges. Bathroom was quite small and door needed to be closed to navigate it If not for the location convenience would not likely stay again. TV remote has some idiot sycrincies that need to be figured out-can't use the numbers for the channels if you don't know to put a 0 in front which does not show up on the tv screen.

We spent the last week of September, 2021 in the Chicago area. We stayed at this location approximately 8 years ago, and really enjoyed the logistical convenience of being in a western Chicago suburban area. The rooms are nice (keep in mind this is not a 5 Star Hotel); the value is quite good; the staff are very helpful; and it is an easy location from which to get around Chicago (Note: “easy” my friends is a relative term when driving around the Chicago metro area!). We had no problem getting from the hotel to the Chicago Art Institute and Navy Pier (to take a boat tour); or to the northern suburbs; OR getting to Milwaukee & Devon Avenue to have lunch (a Chicago Hot Dog of course) at the famous “Superdawg Drive-In” (which started in 1948); OR ever to get to Chicago's famous “German Town” (the Lincoln Square district at Lawrence & Western Avenue in Chicago.)! And best, but not least: You can avoid ALL the Chicago/Illinois Toll Roads! It only takes 40 minutes to leave the hotel; go south to jump on 55 east; straight to Lake Shore Drive; and head into the Mag Mile! The Best Western Plus Oakbrook Inn (which is actually in Westmont, south of Oakbrook) is a very good value. Again, it is NOT a 5 Star Hotel which caters to your every whim. But if one comes to visit a beautiful city like Chicago, with little crime, traffic, congestion or parking issues, one should consider this as a place to stay!

That about sums it up. this hotel needs some work. Very worn and needs a facelift. Breakfast options were very calorie dense; high on carbs. no oatmeal or fresh fruit options. Workout room had a broken water dispenser and no towels. It was very difficult to find the hotel It only had a small sign on a marquee.

The first night we stayed, we had to vacuum our room, we killed a roach the 1st night and second night. The ice machine was not working. The place was run down and needs updated, the beds were not very comfortable.

There was masking tape numbering every room. There was leak from the toilet. The mattress was several years old (at least) and uncomfortable, and the jacuzzi mirrors were filthy. I was stuck in a very bad position because it was my husband's birthday and I was surprising him with a staycation. I called the front desk to report my concerns with just 20 minutes before his arrival. There was not another jacuzzi room available so I made the most of it. But we were ultimately both so disappointed that we left at 10:00 PM and were not even offered a partial refund. I didn't push for it as I didn't want to worsen his birthday experience. But we will never be going back to this Best Western.

We almost always stay at Best Western Plus in Oakbrook, IL when we're visiting a very special aunt in that area. The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff, as always, were so accomodating . The hotel is convenient to shopping areas. It is perfect for our needs.

Room was clean and everything worked. Room wasn't ready an hour before check in but understandable. Check in was quick. Good enough for weekend stay. Polite front desk staff. Nice enough to allow us late check out.

This Best Western is a nice quiet place. They strive to keep it very clean compared to all the other hotels on the block. If you are going to stay in this area, Dont go anywhere else Bc this hotel is the cleanest one on the Block! If you need anything, they will gladly make sure you get what you need!

Booked the whirlpool suit for 187$ for the night, bathroom wreaked like sewage, whirlpool didn't hold water without needing a refill, bedding was dirty. We left less than 3 hours after check-in. Emailed, haven't heard anything back. We payed less at the countryside location for a better room.. overall dissatisfied find a better hotel..

Shall I list the ways and reasons for such a statement? I travel a good deal and usually use only 2 hotel companies. BW getting the lions share of the dollars. Place was pretty vacant when we arrived. That alone should have told me something. All pre-booked using points for the first time. Platinum member of their points deal actually. Checkin was slow and just a general pain the buns, ok I can deal with that. Look up to second floor balcony, big wodden crate sitting up there, not a decorative one a workman's box. Ok, odd but deal-able. Get keys cards head for room. Surprise, the hallway is filthy. Walls are being stripped bare. Really unattractive but the mess did not help. Room is at least tidy, clean not so much as we learned. Wear socks in the rooms there, cheap ones you will throw out. Head out to see family, one of whom is headed to the hospital for emergency attention. Ask if there is coffee available. What is in your room only. Ask about room being made up etc as is per usual in a hotel. Not until you leave room, we do not clean or resupply, will not enter room period unless you have checked out. You need something ask at desk. Breakfast? Well you see, they will hand you stuff out of the mini fridge at desk, no actual grab and go like many others. So no room cleaning, no bed making, no changes of linens, no pretend breakfast even, dirty and oh YES, the lovely odor of acetone that invades. Then there are the ants that come out of I assume the toilet base in the evening. BW Needs to remove the franchise name from this place and it really does need a change in staff from the top down. My advice, book elsewhere, unless you are stuck like we were. Needing to be in that area.

We had last minute contract to start the wall paper project and began it about a week ago. It should all be done by this Friday and the lobby will be looking fresh and new. Also as of right now due to Covid restriction we have limited breakfast - muffins, water and apples and there is no housekeeping available for stay-over rooms. We are happy to give new linens and towels upon request at the front desk but due to Covid restrictions and the safety of guests and employees we are not allowing the housekeeping to enter a room while a guest is still staying. Once again we are sorry for the inconvenience that you have faced and hope to do a better job in the future to satisfy all guests with their stay. This room was extremely overpriced for the place. We had a king room with jacuzzi. Bathrooms not clean and dead bugs in room. We were told to let water run for hot water. No free breakfast as advertised

We will look into the matter right away with the house keeping and make sure that the rooms are cleaned to the upmost standards. As of right now there is no hot breakfast due to covid-19 but we are still serving bagged breakfast which contain water, an apple and muffins. Quiet, clean, surrounded by restaurants and grubhub and doordash will deliver right to your room! Linens were clean, the room was neat and you're able to control your own heat and air. The people that work at the desk are very friendly and helpful, I've stayed here at least 10 times now and it's my go to hotel.

Hot tub had warm water, however, sink and shower only had cold water. Broken and loose handles. Jacuzzi on second floor, above my room. Very noisy. Check in easy and fast. Convenient location. I will be checking the water as soon as I arrive next time.

Stayed two nights in early September 2020. Sometimes I felt I had to the hotel to myself, there were very few guests, I think pandemic is the culprit. The was some construction going on right next to my room, never had a noise issue, but it looked like no one cared about making it less obvious: various materials and equipment was in the hallway. The room felt a bit dated. Everything was clean though. Generally I felt like it is on the lower spectrum of BW Plus brand hotels. The price was very reasonable, good value. Hope they get more guests now.

This was a necessary trip and fairly planned last minute. As a family we stayed here 3 years ago and had adjoining rooms. This time I was solo and due to Covid19 they had to close down the cafe and complimentary breakfast. They accommodated me with fresh bottled water daily and fresh cream for the endless bags of coffee. They were extremely apologetic when as we know, the shutdown in Illinois was out of their control. The room was clean. Comfortable bed. Microwave in the room as well as a little refrigerator. It was a very nice experience there under a very trying time in all of our lives. Their goal was to keep their guests safe and healthy and wore masks at all times. Definitely recommended

No food yet site said there was. Coffee pot in room did not work and they don't offer coffee outside of the lobby like they used to. They refused to adjust my rate which included food. The help does not even smile or seem interested in assisting.

This was a one night stay so we could visit a family member. The room was nice. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast bar offered pancake waffles which was a first. They weren't bad. The staff was friendly.

I am in the habit of taking the stairs as much as possible instead of the elevator. So I went down the stairs and went out the door for the purpose of going on a walk. When I came back I was reprimanded! I wasn't allowed to go out that door!!! Because they didn't want drunk people getting out! I had not had a drop! The staff at the desk are too rigid with their rules and they have too many of them! I just want a quiet place to engage in my business. To be fair I will say that the breakfast was fantastic . They cooked me an omelette to order. The housekeeping staff also what is proficient and I tipped all of them well.

Great location to come into Chicago on a work day. My daughter was to have surgery in the heart of the city and we where able to get to our destination with plenty of time to spare. Even though my daughter wasn't allowed to have breakfast, due to surgery, I was. Hit the spot for a long day.

The staff greets me like an old friend when I show up at least once a month. They are anxious to assist in any way. Food is always ready on time and the people serving it there are very accomodating. I never think about going anywhere else.

We weren't expecting too much and overall, it was acceptable. The breakfast was more than adequate and filling. The downside was our bathroom: there was a bit of mold on the ceiling which I didn't notice until the next morning, there was blistering paint on the ceiling, and some minor things that I might expect at my house but not at a hotel.

This BW was OK. The rooms are clean, front desk staff are friendly. However, they don't have vending machines on either floors for water or snack purchases. There is an Asian grocery store and a Asian Cuisine strip mall across the parking lot from the hotel but they were closed when I checked in. There are other restaurants in surrounding suburbs that do deliver. Luckily, I brought my snacks with me. If you're looking for somewhere to lay your head in a clean, quiet suburb, I recommend this location.

I chose this hotel because of the GREAT price. I just needed a place to sleep while visiting my daughter. It was a good enough hotel. Nice room. Good breakfast. No problems. But, I was looking for a midnight snack and there was no restaurant, store, or vending machine available.

We enjoyed our 2 night visit to this hotel. The breakfast had a great selection and the made to order omelettes were especially nice. The "heaven bed" was so comfortable and we slept well. The staff members gave good service and were personable.

This is our second time staying here and only have good things to say. The room is clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries seating area, desk, etc.... It's a relatively small hotel at only 2 levels and the "lobby" area is nothing more than a desk with seating area. To me that is a plus. Sometimes simple is best when you are making a one night stop. The breakfast was outstanding with all the basics (some of the best hotel biscuits and gravy I've had) plus also a made to order omelet station. And it might silly, but the milk was ice cold which says to me some care is put in. I would also advise that the road entrance to the hotel is easy to miss--it's actually an entrance to a strip mall with the hotel at the end of the mall. Also be aware the area isn't very busy which means quiet, but very limited choices for food and drinks without a drive.

Booked a king bed suite with my fiance for two nights. Check-in was quick and easy. Went to the elevator since our room was on the second floor and there was a luggage cart stored inside the elevator that we had to move in order to be able to get into the elevator. The room was clean. The traffic from the expressway can be loud at times since there is construction and the semis like to engine brake. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. The whirlpool was wonderful and very relaxing when we used it every evening. Would definitely consider this hotel to stay again in the future.

BW does well with the quality of their rooms and facilities. They are routinely going above and beyond on service too. This stay was another example of all those things. We left rested and - even though it was well before breakfast was scheduled - we were able to get a continental breakfast anyhow. Much appreciated!

Check in went smooth... or so I thought! I checked in on 9/16/19. I confirmed all my details with the front desk and provided me ID and checked into my room for the night after traveling and attending a conference. On 9/17/19 I went to buy my lunch and my account was over drafted. When I checked my account the hotel had billed me twice! I was traveling and had no extra funds for anything like lunch or gas. I called the Hotel and they tried to reverse the transaction and advised me to call the bank. The bank told me to call the Hotel. Thankfully, my bank is understanding and put money on my account and treated it like it was fraud. They got on the phone with the hotel and had me on the phone at the same time. They explained exactly what they needed and provided contact information. Additionally, the hotel confirmed contact information and the General Managers contact info. The Hotel front desk could not provide any explanation at that time and didn't really know how to resolve the issue but agreed to supply the needed documents to the bank. The bank updated me an hour later that the hotel had not followed the correct procedures outlined and had to request more info. At that point, I was mad and emailed the G/M asking for a phone call. The front desk indicated that he was very busy and would only provide his email. That night when I got to the hotel, I indicated my unhappiness and asked if the G/M was going to contact me. The lady at the front counter made it sound like it was no big deal and basically stated "you got your money back". I explained that I had to go all day with no food and stressed out trying to deal with work and the current issue. Her reply was: They could have given me money for lunch if I had told them. I explained I was 40 minutes away. Her come back was that I should have checked my account after I checked in. I knew exactly how much money I had in my account and it was enough for the week of the conference for food and gas, etc! She explained that I had checked in after 9pm and that my original reservation was cancelled and a new one was made when I checked in. FALSE! I checked in at 6pm and fully repeated my reservation and time frame. At that point, she could not give me any additional information and asked if I would be staying till Friday since my duplicate reservation was actually cut short by 1 day ending on 9/19/19. I told her I would not make that call until I spoke to the G/M. She indicated she would leave a note and that I would hear from him on 9/18/19 and I would need to let them know if I was staying or going. As of the time of this review, I have had no contact from anyone and the front desk is now giving me the cold shoulder. I have elevated this to corporate and will be checking out tomorrow! Poor Customer Service, Poor Communication, Bad Experience! I have all documentation to share but can not post the pictures here because of account numbers, phone numbers, emails etc.

We waited to check in while the only person at the desk answered the phone. We received 2 free water bottles which was a nice welcome. Our room was on the first floor. It was very quiet. It was a tight space even with only 2 people. The room had a very musty smell. The sheets were worn, not crisp. When I sat on the end of the bed to put on my shoes, it was clear that the mattress was due for replacement. Made to order omelets were a nice feature at breakfast, the rest of the breakfast choices were standard free breakfast fare. The friendliest staff member was the person taking care of the breakfast area. One suggestion that I would like to make is to move the smoking area far away from the entrance. As it is, guests have to walk right through the smoking area to enter or leave the hotel.

Checkin in was easy and fast and curdious. Room was in good order and clean. Nice hot shower and bath. Wifi did turn on and off every now and then. Fitness centre needs a new treadmill as it did slip when I was running. Elipitcal was great. Hot breakfast was something of a highlight I always enjoy. 90/100- Will return.

It was very excellent stay and one of from front desk mr Allan made my stay specially comfortable.other staff of from front desk was also helpful at the time of check-in . Mainly flora did good job for enjoying stay at hotel with smiling face.

We come here every July 4th, and have never had any problems. This year room 208 have a few issues probably because no one ever reported them. However, we were able to switch rooms the next day. The price was slightly more than the confirmation I received.

Sure, the furniture, carpeting, bathroom is a bit out-dated, but you're not staying at a Best Western to feel the pulse of current interior design. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The parking was free and ample. It does not have a bar or offer food, but it is located very close to many places that do. My only need was that I wished they had a couple of vending machines for a drink and snacks. I later found out that there was a small cooler behind the front desk and they sold me a bottle of water. I'm unsure if that cooler held anything else other than water. You can't see in it and there isn't a sign anywhere to indicate it even exists.

We got to take our first trip without the kids since our honeymoon, and as we headed for the Chicago area, we looked through the TA reviews. Frankly, the recent "terrible" review left by the militant vegan sold us on this hotel. Other than the signage being difficult to see, there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. It's clean and well-lit outside with ample parking. We were met immediately by the clerk at the desk. Check-in was fast and easy. Our room was spacious and already nice and cool with the AC running. The bed was quite comfortable, and the soaps had a delightful aroma. The breakfast offerings were wonderful, especially the custom omelet station. Cookies and coffee in the lobby in the evening was an enjoyable feature. We highly recommend, and will definitely return if we're in the area again!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Best Western in Oak Brook Ill. My prior hotel accommodations were not finalized and I needed help finding a quality place to stay. Once I landed in Chicago I contacted Best Western and with in minutes I had a place to stay. The representative made the process easy. The Check in staff and overall staff support was amazing. I was very happy with my experience.

Front desk people are terrible...expect a crappy extremely noisy room with no amenities and power surge issues. No night time drinks or cookies like other Best Westerns have. If on lower level good luck with noise in rooms above.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious, very good coffee, had a very good variety for breakfast. Location was great, we were near everything. It was easy to get to my class reunion in Chicago. Did not like the traffic on the express ways, people drive like crazy and are not very courteous.

Upon my arrival the front desk clerk was attending another customer in the eating area but did acknowledge myself and the other two guests in the lobby. Check in was quick and the room was awaiting our arrival as we needed to get ready for a wedding scheduled later that evening,

Although the hotel was a little hard to find at first because it's tucked behind a fresh food market.... the hotel staff was excellent! The room were clean, bed were very comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome! This was a great value for a last min decision.

I've stayed here several times over the last few years.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. PROBLEMS: Broken ice machine (only one machine in the building) was still not fixed the next day. Desk clerk was dozing at the desk at 11 p.m. one night. I didn't wake him up to ask for more shampoo, which the maid failed to replenish that day. I'll probably look around for other hotels next time before I book here again.

Vegans: stay away from any Best Western. I experienced the same problem I had in another 2, 3 BWesterns this summer. Terrible experiences during breakfast. This is a B. Western Plus scored as 4,5* in Tripadvisor, so we expected a great breakfast. Well, the only fruit available there was banana and apple. That's it. Not watermelon, mandarin, oranges.... nothing! I am vegan and my kid allergic to dairy products. The options there were: eggs/omelette, sausage, French toast, bread or bagel (we could eat that) but with butter or cheese spread. Croissants, muffins and cinnamon rolls. All with dairy. I asked for and avocado and tomato to spread on a toast. Nothing. I asked at least for a non dairy milk or yogurt to pour over oatmeal. Surprise, there was nothing. Oh! But the lady brought us after 2 minutes one brick of soy milk. We both finally could not starve. But.... (and I attach a picture) after tasting it a bit weird, I checked the expiration date and it was May 6th. 20 days ago. Great experience. It is very sad that this chain continue ignoring vegan costumers. And please, add some more fruit and veggies, that would be lovely for everyone Thanks

This hotel was conveniently located in a very nice part of town. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We asked for adjoining rooms when we booked and got what we asked for upon arrival - we've had issues with this before in the past with other hotel brands. I was surprised this was a Best Western - this company seems to be on the upswing.

The Inn is clean, well maintained and very welcoming by the front desk staff. The breakfast offered is fresh with specialty omelets available. We feel this is our home away from home. Would recommend this to anyone. We have always been pleased since this is our Inn of choice when we visit in the area.

We were tired of traffic and construction zones and could not drive past Chicago like our plan so we stopped here. Everything was great but the breafast was highlight. Handmade omelet, french toast and good coffee, could not have done better. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and this is your place to stay

The hotel is tucked quietly back off the freeway, but it was quiet and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Great night's sleep, but the noise in the morning will awaken you. We could hear them vacuuming the floor above or the room adjacent, which I have never heard before. We will return again!

This is the second time in 2 years my company has booked a stay for me here. Both times my room smelled like an old bar—you know the smell of years of smoking in the walls and carpet. My room also had broken lights (including the bathroom light which is something housekeeping should notice if they are cleaning). It definitely needs some work. Check in was with a friendly man who mumbled so I couldn't always understand him but he seemed nice. Other than the smell and the lights the room was ok. The smell was most noticeable in the bathroom. The room was quiet. The bed comfortable. WiFi worked ok. On day 1 of my stay there was nobody manning the omelette area at breakfast which was unfortunate because I have a very physically active job so I tend to stick with protein-based breakfast and all the other options were carb-based. The tip jar was full so it seemed there was someone working there at some point but by 830 they were gone. Nobody was manning the front desk either. It's was really odd. On day 2 the front desk clerk was also working at the breakfast area. Perhaps they are short staffed. They do not make oatmeal, they only offer instant packets. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was very good, but the biscuits were hit or miss—some soft & fluffy & some hard as rocks and impossible to cut through.

Upon check-in we were greeted by a very nice receptionist. We were given Room 208, the room was ok, the problem I had was that water took about an hour to get hot in the bathroom sink. The shower water was also on the fritz. It would vacillate between luke warm, cool & then almost scalding hot. It was annoying to say the least. The refrigerator made an audible humming sound, which could be heard over the television. The continental breakfast was actually pretty decent. We made waffles and a woman was there to make omelettes. I would only recommend it for a quick overnight stay.

Although a good price for a quick trip to the nearby zoo, would not recommend it. The breakfast made to order omlets were only for those that did not eat early, the food was not the best, and other parts of the stay ( room, etc ) appeared to be either trying to cut budgets ( not enough towels/washcloths), or untrained staffing (bathrooms not having hand soap ).

It is an older hotel but it is clean and the items that should work do and its a comfortable place to stay. They have dispensers in the shower and by the sink (soaps, conditioners etc) but aparently they don't refill them anymore-should take them out if not. Breakfast is nothing special (we did not partake of the fresh made omelets) but it is serviceable. Will stay again

I had the unfortunate experience of staying here for business. The place is a dump. Its a step above a truck stop. Terrible smell, strange stains everywhere, thin walls you hear everything. The place gave me the creeps. I was praying the whole time I didn't get bit by bed bugs. How do they consider this a Best Western Plus is totally beyond me. Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay here.

I cam into town to attend a two-day conference at Lewis University in Oak Brook, IL. I found the hotel to be very quiet, the jacuzzi tub to be very relaxing, and the hotel to be nearby to several restuarants. The hotel also has an excellent breakfast, where they make you omelettes from scratch right in front of you.

Really great value for the price. The bed and pillows were great, internet connection was good, and there were tons of spare outlets around the room. Breakfast was pretty typical for the price, and staff was good.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was available earlier than communicated, only omelette cook started on time. Hotel is hidden behind a supermarket with a small sign. Hardly any restaurants in the near vincinity.

Stayed here for work that was a last minute trip and was completely surprised. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was received with a smile and a complimentary up-graded room. The room was fresh, clean, and well-maintained. Breakfast was you're typical fare of biscuits and gravy, sausage, assorted pastries, and cereals. The food was hot and tasty. It's obvious to me that Best Western is “upping their game.” I'd certainly stay here again.

Well maintained facility. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Great deal for price! Breakfast was plentiful and of good variety. Breakfast room was pleasant to dine in. We used this hotel to stay overnight after the moving van emptied our home. Worked wonderfully.

The employee at check-in was ill, kept coughing all over everything and directly into her hand. The hotel was dirty, the rooms were worse. The room smelled like old damp rot, the sprinkler heads we're just hanging out of ragged open holes in the ceiling, the outlets were cracked and one was partially hanging out of the wall, the attempts at painting were terrible as there was paint all over the outlets and other fixtures. The bed smelled of mildew.There was a couple different events going on in the area which lead to all the hotels being booked up, so the staff mentality at this one was if you don't like it go somewhere else, knowing it really wasn't an option.I left and drove 2 hours to another hotel, rather deal with the inconvenience of a two hour drive than stay in that awful place.

We needed a place to stay when our flight arrived late in the evening. The hotel was a little farther than hoped from the airport, but the price made it more worthwhile. The gentleman working the night-shift at the front desk didn't leave us with the greatest impression upon check-in. He was nice enough but was constantly mumbling to himself and often seem confused. The internet had gone done, so he was having problems running our credit card. We ended up having to leave our cc number with him because we were too exhausted after 24-hours of traveling to wait for him anymore. However, we weren't very comfortable with leaving the information with this individual. The place seemed clean but in need of updating in places. The hallways were very dilapidated, but our room seemed more recently renovated. However, some of the aspects of the room were just odd. The closet had a curtain instead of door or just open space. Also, the lamp seemed to be on a motion sensor, which is nice in theory but confusing if you don't know what's happening (see other reviews) and annoying if one person is going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and disturbing others. The breakfast was a little more diverse than comparable hotels. There were two waffle machines, which was convenient, and there was an employee making omelettes. All in all, the place did the job, but I wouldn't hurry back.

In addition to being a great suburban place to stay with free breakfast, this Best Western offers made-to-order omelets each morning. Staff is excellent, reminding me of my likely possession of a promotional discount at check-in, and being willing to wait for it until I could locate it in my email. The location is close to I-294, I-88, and just off Ill Route 83 near Hinsdale, Westmont, and Downers Grove, all of which are within 30-35 minutes of the Chicago Loop by train, as well as Oak Brook.

We stayed at the Best Western Oakbrook Inn in Westmont Illinois. We booked it on line. From the outside I was. Way disappointed. Seemed old and not much to Look at. But nice greeted and got our room earlier than booked. No problem. Room was on the first floor-very nice and clean. What I liked best about this hotel was how quiet it was. We had a long wedding week end and were pretty tired so went to bed early. Not a sound all nite. Up for breakfast and I saw something I have never witnessed at and open breakfast at a regular hotel-a live omelette station. There was a real Person using real eggs to make your choice of any omelet. And she was very nice and efficient. I put veggies in mine and it was delicious. And homemade french toast-yummy. What a nice morning surprise. On our way out we were thanked for staying there and offered a free bottle of water -which we took. Highly recommend!!

Alright hotel. The breakfast was good. Same options every day. Fresh baked cookies and milk didn't happen. The cookies are hard stale chips ahoy and there is no milk. Sundry shop is bottled water and small bags of chips. Only 1 ice machine in the entire hotel. Overnight staff was unhelpful. The room was good. Housekeeping was excellent. I liked that this hotel was out of the city and in a quiet area. Walking distance from quite a few restaurants.

I never consider anywhere else when I come to the area because I always know what to expect with Best Western. I can have all the things I require like good coffee, breakfast, the internet and a gym to start my day.

Everything went exceptionally well during my two night stay at the Best Western Plus hotel in Westmont, IL. The staff were great and the room accommodations were very clean and nice. They offer an excellent quick breakfast.

Nothing outstanding, nothing extraordinary. Place to sleep if you are in the area for a fair price. Room seemed clean enough. Did not do the continental breakfast, preferred to check out other options in town.

We arrived to an empty parking lot & the windows on the second floor open with the curtains blowing out. The temperature was low 40. Really made me feel what a bad choice I made. There was a very weird smell in the lobby when we checked a little nervous that maybe the whole hotel smelled like this. But was not the case. Person who checked us in was not very friendly & very hard to understand. The room itself was updated furniture wise but still had a dated feel to it. Breakfast was your typical hotel lukewarm fare. Nothing to write home about. Really don't know why they have the plus in their name. There was nothing that was outstanding about this hotel. There are other hotels in the area that are much nicer & the same price.

We stayed here for one Friday night in June. I think the room was pretty nice and the breakfast area was good too, and these things would point to a 4 or 5 star rating, but there were definitely some things I didn't like about this hotel. First, it was hard to find. Its set way back from the road it's on, and the sign to it isnt much bigger than the computer monitor Im using to write this. In case you are driving there, its the second right turn, one one that goes through a parking lot, not the one that goes behind the strip mall. When we checked in, I thought the place was ok, but I did feel a bit lied to. When you look at the pictures on here (that the hotel posted), they made the place look nicer than it was. That green accent light you see in the lobby? I never saw it. I have to give them credit, they did offer free cookies at night, but even at that, they werent as good as the cookies at the hotel we stayed in the previous night. Anyway, I liked the room. It was generally pretty good, but it did have some flaws. When I plugged my phone in to charge it, the connection wasnt consistent and kept turning on and off every few seconds. It was annoying, but I did ultimately get my phone charged. Another weird this is that the floor lamp in our room spontaneously turned itself on after I turned it off - twice. I had to unplug the thing to prevent this from happening a third time. Finally, I was not able to get the wifi to work. All this was just annoying. With all that said, I enjoyed the king sized bed and thought the breakfast the next morning was decent; the French Toast was a nice change from your typical hotel breakfast fare (they also had an omelette bar going). But even at that, the juice machine got my hopes up with a strawberry kiwi juice labelled on it, but it turned out to be water. Bottom line, the hotel is neither good nor bad. It could be good, but they screw up things that almost every other hotel manages to get right (electrical, wifi, juice). However for $110/night, on a night when a La Quinta downtown goes for $500, I'll take it.

We didn't receive any report in regarding to electrical outlet issue last year, and it is highly recommended that any issues to be reported as soon as possible so we can better assist and resolve immediately during your stay with us! Our representatives are always eager to assist 24/7 if any question brought to our attention. All of our products and professional photos are fit with description for each room types, and matching as advertised with no alteration to any of our photos. The green accent light you have mentioned was actually in one of the older photos, which has been recently removed due to mismatch to our lobby's overall new arrangement. There has been some changes with new improvements to our facility as we continue to strive for quality assurance without major changes to our setup. In room, we have automatic motion sensor switch connect to lamp at entrance as guest enters the room. The motion sensor switches off automatically after 15 minutes if no movement detected. Originally we have this implementation as part of go-green program to conserve energy effectively, but we will be having the switches removed due to its nonadjustable flaw in our update plan soon. While our location may not be in heart of downtown Chicago; We are conveniently located fair distance 30 minutes to Downtown Chicago, O'hare and Midway airports. Metra stations are within couple miles, Brookfield Zoo and Oakbrook mall are 5 miles away from us. Checking was great! Didn't get asked about express checkout or BWR membership acknowledged, no market, but complimentary water bottles and there was some soda and chips available for purchase. The bathroom had a heat lamp which was cool. But whomever painted the rooms was sloppy. Like there's paint on the granite, I could scrape it off with my fingernails lol. The air conditioner/heater was super loud when it turned on every ten minutes. Very good breakfast. I was told breakfast lady would be there somewhere between 630-7... kinda weird waiting for her but omelettes made to order was nice. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The night shift guy was nice older gentleman who took the time to talk to me and made me feel welcome. I forget his name, older bald guy. Anyways I really enjoyed my experience and would have no second thoughts about staying again.

Very clean room, hot tub in room worked fine..a few of the dispensers were out but they had small bottles available. Breakfast was yummy and the omelette station was delicious. Very quiet hotel and the employees were very helpful.

The complimentary breakfast was great! They had freshly made omelettes at your service. The staff was also very remarkable. They were always available upon request. I had no issues and everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful, friendly staff and the hotel appears to have been fully remodeled. Prices are much lower than the surrounding area. Located in a quiet area in the back of a small, Asian shopping center. Most amazing thing is the omelets and eggs made to order at breakfast. Hotel caters to working men but the rooms are very clean.

PROS: The building is nice and appears updated. They were putting in new carpeting while we were there. The rooms are in very good shape as well so we were very happy as we took a chance with Best Western Plus. Beds were nice as well as clean. Linens are updated. The bath towels were the thickest I've ever had at a hotel. Their breakfast was good- French toast, made to order omelets, cereal, biscuits and gravy, fruit and more. Loved that the milk was actually very cold. CONS: Staff uneducated on the policies of Best Western. Front desk staff were incorrect on Gold Member perks. I called the Best Western Rewards who confirmed the staff were incorrect. They were calling the hotel to have them give me my Gold Member gift- but I still didn't get it. Staff also smokes at the front door in shorts and flip flops while on duty (in December). Cigarette butts everywhere at the front doors. OVERALL: The property, the rooms, the beds and the breakfast were nice and I'd go back to this hotel. I'm usually a Hampton Inn user as they are consistent from property to property. For the money, this Best Western Plus was good. However, know what you are supposed to be getting and don't take the front desk staffs' word.

Courteous staff, clean facilities, little extras all make this a great place to stay! We enjoy staying here when we are in the area! It is close to area attractions such as zoos, museums, shopping, etc... Yet it is still quiet.

This place is always welcoming and clean. They seem to really care about the customers.The place is clean, they offer you water after a long day of travel and the breakfast is well presented. It tastes good too.

Attended a trade show in Chicago. We chose to sty outside the downtown area to save money with three people traveling. I did not expect the excellent service or accommodations for less than $100a night in Chicago area. Made to order omelets included in free breakfast a big plus.

Hotel was easy to find off Hwy 294.Very warm reception at the check-in.Room was great and well located on 2nd floor.Cookies and coffee in breakfast room at night was a nice touch.Would recommend for personal or business trip.

I have stayed at Best Western Plus Oakbrook Inn in Westmont Illinois since 2004, at least once or twice a year. My stays were comfortable at a reasonable cost. I did not experience any problem during my stays and the staff was very understanding and helpful. The location is very convenient with access to major expressways and toll roads.

We checked in late due to airport delay. The gentleman at desk was extremely nice. Got us cold water and cookies. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Only one complaint, We do not care for the small pillows Best Western has, We find them hard and uncomfortable.During our 3 nights at this location, all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.Close to highways, so not hard to find your way around. We will definitely stay here again if in the Chicago area A+

I had a meeting at the Hamburger U/ McDonald's lodge in Oakbrook. This place was less than 10 minutes down the road and was half the price of lodging at Hamburger U. The breakfast was included and they provided an omelette bar which was a nice surprise. However, the room needed attention -dirty sheets! We called for housekeeping, it was before 9pm on weeknight and were told none was available. Instead, we were offered a different room. We were already unpacked and in our PJ's and had to walk through hotel with all of our belongings to the new room. No assistance was offered in moving our items. The new room was better, but still had burned out light bulbs, and could have used some more careful attention. The internet worked, but was slow and intermittent - still it worked enough that we were able to get our work done, but not perfect. Given the cost savings and location I would recommend this place and would stay here again should I return to the area. But, I would check out the room thoroughly before unpacking...

Hotel looks old and tired, but room was clean with all needed amenities. Bed was very comfortable and shower was powerful. Breakfast was basic. Cooked to order omelette was average. Location is good, easy access from Interstate 294. This fits Best Western standard, certainly not Plus.

We do also offer gluten-free items, soymilk, grab n go breakfast available upon request. We are happy to inform you that we are planning upcoming updates to our property, and we have continued to update our property each year. Our last huge project of renovation was back at year 2014 with entire lobby and front office remodel with implementation of elevator to improve our guest's satisfaction. Stayed overnight whilst visiting the Lions hq and at checkout they refused to accept my Mastercard prepaid currency card saying it was too much of a payment risk. I have used this card for everything from cheap water bottles to cabs, bars, hotels and restaurants throughout a month of travelling throughout the USA and never been refused. This hotel policy is out of step with every other business and not even prepared to consider acceptance with other forms of us. DON'T stay here if you want to pay with a debit card

My husband and I attended a family wedding and booked 3 nights stay as BW reward customers. Our bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet at all times during our stay. We loved having the option of homemade omelettes for breakfast each morning in addition to the hot and cold complementary breakfast. In the Chicagoland area, this is a good value, quality hotel.

Our family of four planned a quick visit to Chicago this summer. We were wanting to stay outside of the city limits for many reasons mainly lower cost. This hotel is a few miles west, no parking fees, breakfast is included. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean, the beds were truly Queen size, there was a nice spread for breakfast. It's a short drive to the train station which takes you into the city. There are restaurants close by as well as several stores and pharmacy if needed.

I booked this hotel for an anniversary trip - first time visiting Chicago. I hate to give a bad review but I wish someone had warned me! I read a previous negative review of this hotel referencing China Town area and molded bagels but felt the reference to "china town" to be a little much, so I decided to give it a try. The hotel is tucked away in the back of an Asian strip mall (which I did not mind). The exterior of the hotel is dated. Upon entering the hotel, I was dissapointed. The furniture is a hodgepodge of old furniture that was for utility only. We checked in with no problem. Upon arriving in the room, we found the same thing. HODGEPODGE: the bath room as well as the bedroom furniture were updated but pictures on the walls, the carpet and the jacuzzi were extremely outdated. It appears that there was an attempt to update but they just gave up. The breakfast area had the same type of issues. The tables were tall, however the chairs were short. When seated the table was at least chest height, which made it awkward to eat. Consistantly, the coffee was barely warm and water for tea and oatmeal was not hot. One morning I tried to make toast and the wheat bread was molded. The final blow was that one morning as I was sitting in bed, a ROACH join me! I went to the front desk and told the desk clerk. She appeared shocked, but when we left and came back later, we were told that no one had even checked the room yet. We left again and returned and the room had been cleaned but there was no indication that the roach issue had been rectified (or even acknowledged). So, I was uncomfortable and on the look out for bugs the rest of the day. Much later that that evening, I noticed that the duvet (which was between the bed spread and the top sheet) had yellow stains and what appeared to be red nail polish. I was so dissapointed and totally grossed out! I was at the end of my trip and did not want the added frustration of relocating but I COULD NOT REST the final night. I travel quite frequently and, in my opinion, this is the WORST hotel I that I have ever had the displeasure of staying. Do NOT stay here if you have a choice.

We did also informed you of the inspection result after your return. Breakfast items has always been provided fresh each morning including made to order omelets or any types of eggs, and all bakery items. However, we do appreciate you are addressing this to our concern, and we will look into this matter as we do take extreme caution in food safety. We will address the stain issue to housekeeping department in further investigation for quality assurance. At Best Western we strive every day to provide a superior customer experience. This is my second time to stay ot this location. It is an older hotel and the age shows. That being said, it is clean, and neat and the staff is very friendly and helpful with any needs. Very Good Coffee!!! Convenient location.

I expected much more for what I paid. Very disappointed. Broken fridge in room, went to let staff know and couldn't find anyone. Breakfast was......less than average. Sausage was cool in the center and gravy was lukewarm at best.

We always try to stay here when we're visiting the area. The hotel location is convenient; the staff is pleasant and caring; the made-to-order omelettes are wonderful! Any problems incurred (very minor) were dealt with immediately. We highly recommend!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Felt very safe. Breakfast selections were adequate and the made to order omelet bar was a very nice addition. We were staying at hotel for nephew's graduation. The signage from street needs to be larger as we drove past it twice, looking for the hotel. Was not expecting it to be back behind a strip mall shopping area.

Very nice hotel, good staff and great value. Plenty of well lighted parking an in very safe area. Staff were very helpful and hotel quiet so overall experience very good. Would highly recommend to those needing hotel in this area.

It was nice that the hotel was so close to the Prostate Cancer Center. We were offered a discount when we booked because I was being seen at the center. The area was clean and we felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Terrible stay. Loud with traffic and guests above us up at 4am. Could hear all foot steps and water flushing and running. WIFI not working in room. Breakfast served on paper plates. Heater in bathroom not working. We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed one because of our dissatisfaction.

My wife and I spent three days at this terrific hotel. The accommodations were well above average for a terrific price. They provided a full breakfast with station cook and just about any kind of breakfast food you could ask for. There was a workout room and a meeting room available. The staff was very cordial and helpful and the room was clean and well appointed with a mini fridge and microwave. I would recommend this business to anyone needing a good place to call home while in the western suburbs of Chicago because of the service and location (Rte. 83 and Ogden Ave.)

It is close to Chicago without Chicago traffic and hotel rates! It is off the road which we like. There are several good restaurants nearby. Downtown Chicago is 30 minutes away. We would stay there again.

We needed a decent room close toLoyola hospital. Inexpensive with comfortable room, mini fridge, microwave, WIFI as well as a pretty decent breakfast. Clean with all the basic amenities. All in all it was a great value and exactly what we were looking for.

The ONLY reason I'm even giving this hotel a 1/5 is because I can't give it a 0/5! We were told we could do an early check in at 2pm. We came at 2:40pm and was told our room wasn't ready and they needed to move us to a different room. Ok...no big deal... We are given the key cards and go to our room. Neither key card works. We inform the gentleman working the front desk and he proceeded to insult us by telling us that we weren't sliding the card correctly. After informing him that the keys really don't work, he said he would be up after a few minutes. We informed him that we needed to drop our stuff off and head to a wedding. He blew us off and said, "yeah yeah yeah..." Really?! After returning to the hotel at 1030pm, we went to have cereal of which was accessible at that time. When trying to get milk, it was a slow drop and we checked the canister. The evening gentleman came rushing in and said, "are you trying to take the whole milk jug?! Thinking that he was kidding, we jokingly said, "was thinking about it," as we were chuckling. The gentleman rudely said, "Don't get SNOTTY with me!!!!!!" Whoa?!?!? Did that just happen?! Never again will i stay here nor will I recommend it...if you like to be insulted, this is the dump for you!

Also, we were not notify in advance of your early check-in otherwise we do our best to accommodate with some waiting time may required. Our apologies for any misunderstandings, but generally we would never say anything that would offend our guests as our staffs are well trained to handle situations promptly to our guests' care. We are able to hold guest luggage temporary at front desk for convenience and we would never turn down as we have fulfill this types of requests often. 3) Coffee and tea are available 24/7. Breakfast cereal is only available during breakfast hours. Please understand that we never have any guests trying to access into our milk canister ever before as it is staff access only. If anyone requires assistance for more milk then we are always more than happy to help. Our evening staff was alarmed of the serious matter as this raised food safety concerns at the time. The hotel is just a short distance from Chicago. The service was awesome and very helpful. The hotel is located near some strip malls so it is just a quick trip to find what you need and Chicago is just a short trip down the freeway

Horrible customer service and had an unknown bug crawling on me at 1am to be awaken to it moving on me. I will say I have stayed at this hotel on several occasion in the past and have not had any issues. Upon bringing this issue to staff I was met with horrible customer service and was basically dismissed.

We were in town to celebrate a birthday and decided to go back to this hotel after we had such a good say here for a graduation. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. And, the hotel is conveniently located off the expressway.

I stayed here recently on a business trip and was quite impressed especially for the price. It is a little difficult to find but worth the effort. Check in was pleasant and easy and the room updated. There was no liquid soap for the shower and I could not find the facial tissue anywhere but overall the room was great. An added bonus was the made to order omelettes in the morning!

First, the hotel does not have a prominent sign. It is at the back of a strip mall and is not easily visible from the street. Even with Google Maps it took a few passes to find it. The shift manager was almost rude, certainly uninterested in helping. The room was in the basement, even though the parking lot was not full, and smelled musty. We hoped that it would air out while we met family for dinner. It didn't. The bed was too soft for comfort. There was a motion-sensor lamp that we finally had to unplug. Then the "elephants" in the room above us began pacing... luckily we always bring earplugs so the squeaky floor wasn't as disturbing as it could have been. If we hadn't been road weary and the hour so late we would've requested a room change. Upon checkout, the shift manager did not ask about our stay. I do NOT recommend this hotel!

We chose this hotel because of proximity to relatives we were visiting in Western Springs, availability and cost of rooms. We could not have been more pleased with the accomodations. The room was spotless, with ample linens and bath amenities. The breakfast was much better than the average hotel's "continental breakfast" offering made to order omelets, juices, pastries, waffles, fruit and coffees. The coffee was also available 24/7, which our group appreciated. The hotel employees were very gracious, and helpful whenever we had any question. We will definitely chose this hotel again when visiting the area.

Hard to find this location, which is behind other commercial buildings in an office area. Needs vastly better signage. Staff had poor command of English language and were hard to understand. Room had worn and unclean appearance. Very convenient location.

The location of this facility is ideal if you want access to the western part of the Chicago area. It is also a perfect place from which to take the Burlington Northern into the City. For breakfast they offer eggs cooked to your liking - a plus for a motel/hotel in this price range.

Very good and clean hotel. Fluffy pillows, comfortable bed, lots of water pressure in the shower. Everything was very clean and modern. I had a hot, fresh omelette in the morning and my wife had a Belgian waffle. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is a bit small compared to most Best Western's, but in no way does it diminish the hotel's quality or service. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. I'm a light sleeper, and was able to get a solid 8 hours sleep. Lots of TV channels available. Ample lighted parking. Bathroom a little small, but manageable. Price was reasonable for the area. The only issue preventing a 5-star rating is breakfast is somewhat bland and repetitive, with next to no fresh items. There's a lady making omelet's, but if you just want basic scrambled eggs, they don't put any out. Also, the breakfast room is incredibly hot, and if they open the windows for air, loud highway noise comes through. Finally, there's no lobby per se, but they have a couple couches by the front desk. Overall, a clean, comfortable place to stay with decent rooms at a reasonable price. I'd stay here again and recommend others do the same.

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times, always a good experience. Convenient to Routes 83 and 34 (Ogden Avenue), Oak Brook, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, etc., and public transportation to the City. I had made reservation at a hotel across the street that was totally the worst musty old place I ever stayed at. When I pulled into that hotel I noticed the BW and wondered if I made the right choice. One night was all I could take and talked to the front desk lady who showed me around the facility. She had a room ready for us mid-morning. And that started a great experience at the BW. Normal hotel breakfast NO. They have a person making eggs/omelets every morning which was a pleasant change.

Location was great near the highway, staff was professional and courteous, breakfast was good and the room was very clean and housekeeping did a very good job. Learned from the receptionist that the hotel was renovated a couple of years ago. They have kept it very well.

This is our go-to hotel when in the Chicago western suburbs. We have stayed here over many years, and keep coming back. It is easy to get in/out of via stoplight on Ogden Ave. and Rte. 83 gives access everywhere. It is a smaller, clean, quiet hotel with easy parking. Staff and facility has ALWAYS been excellent! I wish we could drag this hotel and its great staff around to other cities with us!

Check in was quick but not at all friendly. There was not really a lobby just a front desk. It was not very inviting. We were both offered a bottle of water before going to our room which was nice. The room was ok. The refrigerator had a pool of water in it and a piece of ice that had accumulated due to the water freezing. When the motor would run on the refrigerator it would shake and make a loud noise. While watching television the power that operated the TV, DVD player, and refrigerator went off. It was off for quite some time then came back on. When it came on the refrigerator motor would make a noise. This happened several times throughout the night. Breakfast was good. It was nice to have a real egg omelet. there was also biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and waffles, along with other standard breakfast choices. The biscuits were quite good not hard as they can be when sitting in a warmer. There was not a lot of help at breakfast and they ran out of waffle batter. The poor lady making omelets worked nonstop and did not have the time to fill it. Upon check out we were never asked how our stay was. The lady who checked us out did not even give me eye contact. The hotel was convenient from the interstate and was only about a 25 minute drive from Midway. There were also a great deal of restaurants in close proximity. I guess you will have to decide based on reviews whether or not you would stay there.

We chose this Best Western because it was close to our friend's house and the reviews were good. This was a mistake. In fact, we were scheduled for more nights but moved to the Hilton after the one night we stayed. If it hadn't been so late when we checked in, we would've left immediately and moved to a different hotel. Check-in was fast but not friendly. The room was gross. There was dust on all the furniture and very thick dust in the area around the refrigerator. The bed skirts were stained. The walls had areas that were crudely patched and unpainted. There was a black widow spider on the mirror in the bathroom and no fan. The air conditioning was inadequate and because the bathroom had no fan, it was too humid to get ready after showers. There was no air conditioning in the rest of the hotel so it was very uncomfortable. There was also no express check-out.

This Best Western location is very convenient to Oak Brook and the surrounding areas. The management is always helpful and courteous, and go above and beyond to ensure customers' satisfaction. I found the beds to be very comfortable, and the rooms to be quiet and spacious. The microwave and mini fridge are nice extras as well! For the price, this hotel is hard to beat.

This was the first Best Western we stayed at on our vacation and so far it was the nicest. Nice room. Very comfortable bed and bedding. We both had a great night sleep. The staff was most helpful in directing us to my former IHC workplace, in Hinsdale, IL. We went on to find a gentlemen, born and raised there who knew of the computer center I worked in; which has since been sold by IHC. Staff also recommended places to have lunch and dinner. We really loved staying in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the bed was excellent, the staff super friendly, they think of the environment (no loose shampoo bottles but wall dispensers) and the breakfast was 'out of this world'. Especially the person that made your eggs to order and the eye for detail (replenishing all breakfast items before they ran out). The guest is central here. The room's A/C was extremely noisy and woke me up several times. We were also given a double bed room when I booked a king. the peolpe were cool. I'm not a complainer so I didn't ask to be moved. it was for one night, but I will never stay at this one again. Side note, the breakfast was good.

This Best Western is probably the smallest location I've visited but with the size comes the perks of getting to know the very gracious individuals that work there. The front desk clerks were very helpful. My only concern was the bugs that I saw every day of my stay coming through the AC/ heating system. It seems as if the hotel needs to do a better job at bug control. I'm not sure if all the rooms have this issue but just be aware of your surroundings if you're staying in the suite with he whirlpool tub. And if you're staying on the side of the hotel near the interstate be forewarned that you will hear highway noise all night long. Other than that, the beds were comfy, the area around the hotel is nice and I would come back if they fix the bug situation.

There are a few options in this area and we've stayed at almost all of them over the past few years; but, right now the Best Western is tops. Newly redecorated rooms/bathrooms with good soundproofing. Can't hear other doors slamming, hallway traffic or neighbors. Very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with made to order eggs, a nice touch. Service and stay can vary widely in this mid range price and this stay was right near the top

This hotel had many problem. 1. The breakfast was terrible, and the ADVERTISTED Omelet bar was unstaffed so no eggs for us :( We ended up with few day old donuts and fake powdered orange juice. I felt like I was on the space station with a big glass of tang. 2. The rooms are subpar, with VERY thin walls. I'm sure if my neighbor would have dropped a pin we could have heard it across the building. We ended up having to switch rooms, because of our neighbors television blasting all night. 3. The bathroom in the hotel lobby next to the breakfast room has covered with urine. I can only assume that there was a fire in the restroom and all someone had to put it out was their now bodily fluids. I love Best Westerns and travel constantly, this would not be a location that I would ever visit again.

Fresh make your own waffle and pancakes machine experience, Sausage Gravy, sausage, biscuits, french toast. We have apple juice, coffee, tea as well to choose from. We're very sorry that you weren't satisfied with our rooms. We have recently remodeled since 2014 and redone all of our guest rooms. All rooms are measured and matched with appropriate Best Western standards. We are very sorry if other guests have disturbed your good night sleep, but if you had let us know we can do our best to help you resolve this issue during your stay. As for our public restroom, we do regularly check every 30 minutes. Also we definitely appreciate our guest's information and take care of any issues immediately when reported. This hotel offers a great value for dollars spent. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Complimentary breakfast with made per order omelets and French toast (they use real eggs) was a welcome change. The location is hidden from the main street which was nice for privacy and parking our pre-loaded vehicle. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants near by and just a short drive away from the City of Chicago and Brookfield Zoo.

The hotel is in a dead area with very little within walking distance (mostly banks and medical clinics). The heating in the room is feeble, and with temperatures plummeting outside I spent a very cold few nights here... the heater was situated right under the window so blew most of the hot air up under the curtains. The heater was very noisy and impossible to keep on whilst trying to sleep. The structure of the hotel seems to have little sound-proofing - whoever was in the room above me walked up and down at about 4am during two nights of my stay, and I heard every step. The bathroom had an industrial feel to it, with boxes of shampoo and soap fixed to the wall rather than individual toiletries. (It was also very cold!) Wasn't impressed by breakfast; soggy french toast and thick white gloop to go with it, plus urns of coffee and lukewarm water that were often empty when I tried to use them. I'm sorry to say that one of the staff on reception seemed to have trouble understanding other guests due to a language barrier. There were also several occasions when I went to reception and found no-one there (and I mean in the day-time, not the middle of the night)... The upsides: things were clean, and two of the reception staff were excellent - really helpful and friendly. All in all the coldness of the room / inadequacy of the heating was the main problem. The hotel is small and the fact that it seemed virtually empty just added to the dead feel (there were never more than 2 other people at breakfast, and one morning I had the breakfast room all to myself). I see from other reviews that many people have enjoyed staying here, and I wonder what I've missed. For me the Oakbrook Inn was a bit like staying in a chilly ghost-hotel in the middle of nowhere!

It looks like this hotel has gone through some changes (renovations, management, etc.). The items that are important to me, were done right - clean room, very comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave in the room. There were no closet doors, just a curtain, but I don't care about that. Some of the caulking in the bathroom looked like it had been done by a non-professional, but again, as long as it's clean, that doesn't bother me. The free breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We were very pleased with the hotel. We traveled to Chicagoland to for pleasure. We stopped staying in Chicago itself because the cost is very prohibitive now. Staying in the suburbs is not only affordable, but it has given us an opportunity to experience the multi-cultures and life style of other residents of Chicago. I was going to Westmont for a class at Kosart atelier and found this hotel to be very convenient. Great breakfast selection, super comfy King suze bed and the room was nice and clean. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in the area.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which is included) is pretty decent. The room and the halls were clean and neat. The hotel was always quiet. The heat/AC unit was a bit nosy and didn't quite work properly all the time. I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is in excellent condition. Looks like the renovation was in last year or so. Attractive common area for an above expectations full service breakfast with every type of food you would need. Room furniture and decor is very fresh and modern. Beds in excellent shape. Can not say enough good things about all of the front desk staff at this hotel. Have stayed at some of the finest hotels in nation but never received the care and attention that this staff provided. The nice thing about this hotel is it is small, only two stories with a limited number of rooms. The ownership and management really knows how to treat its guests. Would highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel, which is about ten minutes away from Drury Lane theater that we attended. We paid about $75.00 including taxes (senior rate) on a Saturday evening. The facilities are comparable to hotels which cost at least $50.00 more. There was also a free full service breakfast, including specially prepared omelets. All staff were very pleasant.

A favorite place for me to reside whenever in Chicago... Nicely maintained, friendly, updated rooms in a not overwhelming property... refreshing and priced right. Wish I had more like this. They just need to get digital satellite into their big flat screen tvs for a better pic quality. Hoping that soon, they will put in a guest laundry also

If you work and want at night to relax and have some comfort, this an option to consider. The only real drawback is the food. It was hard as stone and not so many options to consider. The room however was great and big. The bed very comfortable.

While this has always been a nice place, currently they are under construction and the rooms need a lot of TLC. I would still stay there again but would hope for a discount of some sort until the construction or remodel is complete.

Hotel was clean, fresh and inviting. The staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay issue free. My daughter and her husband left her very important business planner in their room when they left and the manager quickly called me and had it at the front desk where I picked it up. The ceiling downstairs torn out, wiring & insulation exposed. An older property, so upgrades may be underway. Service amazing, though understaffed probably due to a holiday. Hot omelets at breakfast, hot biscuits, great breakfast! Room was fine, nothing fancy. A two-star, IF the repairs are finished....

This place is everything you expect from a hotel. My wife said it is the cleanest hotel that we ever stayed in. She also says the bedding is the whitest she has ever slept in next to ours at home. I usually have trouble with the beds when we travel, but our bed was the most comfortable bed that I ever slept in, and this includes my own bed. The staff are the warmest people that we have ever met. This may be because they are Indian and oriental. The men would bow to my wife like she was some goddess. Though I beg to differ. The women are dressed elegantly. So nice to see without spending $200 plus for a hotel room. They will make your omelet to order. Everything else that you'd expect from a full breakfast is included. If you think that Dr. Ben Carson, who is running for President is calm and collective, wait until you meet the General Manager Mr. Patel. You'll think he's Dr. Ben Carson's brother. To keep it short, we loved the place and would recommend this Best Western Plus to everyone who reads this.

Business trips are always stressful especially when you bring your spouse, trying to ensure they have the necessities while you are in the meeting is important and this hotel didn't let me down. While I was in my all-day meeting, they provided my husband with things to do in the area, including microbreweries and little pubs. I wished that I had more time in this area to explore with him, definitely going to plan a trip for some leisure time there. When we check in, the front desk lady greeted us with a hello and even a handshake. After she checked us in, she told us to make sure we come down around 7 to get some milk & cookies, totally thrilled my husband. She recommended a couple of restaurants in the area and when we told her we wanted to experience a Chicago pizza, she quickly handed us a menu and told us to go to Giovanni's---totally worth going there!. We were even surprised with the breakfast they provided. Not the typical stale muffin, box cereal…It was actual breakfast, fresh omelets station, waffle and pancake machines, fruit & yogurt. I only wished that I had more time in the area, because I would have extended my stay. Going to have to make plans for a leisure visit to the Chicago area, but in the summer!

This Hotel is only 30 minutes from O'Hare Airport by car, and it is quiet and clean in the countryside. Good breakfast in the morning, that's all it takes. Bed was excellent. I can only recommend this site for visitors of Chicago who are looking for an affordable, clean and quiet Hotel.

Very nice place at a reasonable price. Staff was great, facilitated an early check-in, and everyone was very polite and professional. Room was very nice, bed and pillows comfortable. Free breakfast was good with omelets made to order.

Appreciated the hotel staff...made me feel at home! Great customer service, clean hotel and good location from freeway. The milk and cookies at night were a plus and the morning breakfast was delicious...fresh cooked omelets were a welcome option for breakfast.

Great hotel to get away with spouse. Close by restaurants and shopping. Clean and overall a great experience. The Jacuzzi room was clean and a great way to relax. The staff was helpful. Great time will visit again.

overall it was ok with a couple of things to look into. I was satisfied with the staff and the rate of this room. I had a few issues but I've been in enough rooms to fix those. The location is a bit far from city but a good stay for road trip. If I had too I would stay again.

Bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was very good! The hotel had everything we needed. Check in & check out was a breeze. I liked how the bathroom had dispensers for the toiletries. I would stay here again!

Stayed for the location and price. It was clean but a tired hotel. Needs some updates. Standard room but fitted sheet didn't fit. Freeway next to hotel is convenient but noisy. Don't expect a good nights sleep. Probably won't return. Prefer the Hampton inns for $20 more a night.

We were on vacation and looking a place close to downtown Chicago and reasonably price.; This was a great fit, close to interstate so easy access to various location. Beware of tolls on the interstate. Staff friendly at check in and check out. Internet speed was good. Our room was clean and with newer fixtures. Breakfast was very good, best of the 4 different hotels we stayed on during our trip. The only minor note on breakfast was the orange juice it seem to be tang not real juice. But they had omelets, waffles, pancakes, biscuit and gravy, sausage and French toast. Plus standard cereal, bagels, toast ect. As a bonus they had Congee which is a rice porridge a popular oriental breakfast dish.

Everything about this place shouted Sparkling Clean! from the common areas to the guest room. Best complimentary breakfast ever, with made to order omelettes, waffles, fruit, hot cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc. Our room was very spacious and comfortable; despite being on the highway side, it was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to have NO COMPLAINTS and look forward to a return visit.

Cookies in the evening, milk, coffee or tea available. Omelet made your way in the morning in addition to waffles, french toast, biscuits & gravy, plus rolls, muffins, bagels, dry cereal, etc. Nice location, seems quite new. This was our second time staying at this hotel. Would stay again. Rooms facing parking lot are quiet. Other side faces highway; noisy.

I'd probably stay here again. Comfy beds had a good nights sleep. Lots of options for breakfast but go early since they don't replenish. Don't have a vending machine so make sure you bring your own snacks. But all and all it was clean and the staff was nice.

... for a family wedding in the area. It was a great location for our Oak Park destination and the folks made it very easy for us to take advantage of their hospitality. The room was clean and ready for us. It was large and spacious. The check-in/out process was easy -- even gave us a little extra time for checking out. Plenty of towels/toiletries. Breakfast Buffet was one of the best offerings that I've seen in a long while. It was crowded, but it moved pretty quickly. There was indoor/outdoor seating. My only complaint was that the trash bins were overflowing from the breakfast crowd and needed attention. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

First time staying with the Best Western! Great experience, tub was kind of small but it still gets the job done ;) Overall loved it & will stay again!! My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights so we didn't have to pay the outrageous prices in downtown Chicago. This location was close to the Metra train line (about 1 1/2 miles). We are always nervous about staying in a town we aren't familiar with since we have had some bad locations. I've learned to read the reviews. I have to say this was in a great part of town and the drive through some of the quaint neighborhoods going to the train station was very enjoyable. Hindsdale is a nice little town, upscale and clean. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but we were able to find free parking near the station. The free breakfast from the hotel was very good. An employee was there to cook omelets. There was also cooked meats and the classic waffle maker, cereal, assorted rolls, juice, coffee, etc. We will certainly put this place on our list to revisit when we go back to Chicago. The train ride was about 40 minutes and made getting in and out of Chicago enjoyable. Didn't have to fight traffic or find a place to park. Also, took the hop on and off double decker bus to get around. Well worth it.

Very clean and most welcoming. Lovely room very comfortable bed, hairdryer,iron, microwave, fridge, nightlight , good to good lighting in bathroom, breakfast are very good , fresh omelette. Made with real eggs, or fried, made to order along with the usual sausages,biscuits, fruit, bagels,toast etc, good fast free wifi, free bottled water , free cookies at reception , good Chinese restaurant,walking distance, meal for 2 $60 with wine and beer . Great takeaway nearby. 2 meals with tax less than $15 enough for 3 train station into chicargo 5 mins away by car and a great macys only 2 mins away by car I would highly recommend this place they staff are very kindly and homely and its spotless

This is a great hotel! Great staff and super friendly. Welcoming too. Very clean and great breakfasts. Had one hiccup and they corrected it in less than three minutes. Never had to ask for anything. It was already done. Loved our room. Great space and great choice of cable channels. Great places around the hotel also. Just and overall A+. This hotel is super clean. The staff is super friendly from when you walk in the door to the housekeepers. Super clean! Had one issue with cable connection and it was fixed in less than 3 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I know that this will be the only hotel I stay at when I come to Chicago again. Plus, the parking lot well lit up with lots of parking and great places near by. Thanks again for making us feel like family!! A+ in my books.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night earlier this week and really enjoyed my stay. I was checked in right away and given a room on the first floor, which is actually 1 level down from the lobby lol I've never seen this at a hotel before but it didn't impact the quality of the room. I had a soft, comfortable bed, a clean spacious bathroom and plenty of room to walk around. The internet worked great and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was good as well. All this plus free parking at a very reasonable rate - what a find! If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay at this hotel, thank you for a great stay!
