"Really bad experience, staying with children"
We stayed there for 7 days during new years. We booked and paid all meals from home. Everyday we waited more than 1 hour for our food, and often the waiters forgot simple orders. They all seemed very inexperienced, and poorly managed. The areas with furniture and fireplace, were always messy and filthy, which meant we could no use this. The mandatory gift vouchers from Best Western as a Diamond member, issued from the hotel upon arrival, they bar/restaurant did not accept. I recommend all other hotels in the area besides this one, very bad experience.
"Wonderful family visit"
We went on this trip on the advice of Ski Safari who booked us into this hotel, and couldn't believe our luck. Ski in and out par excellence, ski storage in the corridor outside our room (never had that before), terrific food, friendly service at all times from the staff who all speak English. The skiing is great for Beginners and Intermediates to build confidence (adventurous skiers won't find enough here). Probably best to avoid the local area winter holiday when some of the slopes get a bit crowded. We would definitely return to the hotel and the resort.
"Beautiful gem in Sweden!"
We arrived here thinking we was staying at the Best Western on the ski resort, but in actual fact we was just down the hill in some beautiful cosy log cabins. They are basic but have everything you might need, apart from a kettle.. but hey! what's wrong with a pan and water?? that's what we did, was quite nice going back to real basics actually. The views from the cabins were amazing, deep snowy woodland. It had a lovely restaurant before the ski resort called Annika's Cok and it was out of this world, the staff were so attentive and made us feel extra special as I think we were the only English tourists here, not that that matters as their English is pretty good and they made us feel very welcome. Then on the second night we visited the ski resort, it has variable restaurants and a steakhouse that looks straight onto the ski slope, its beautiful, bowling, night club, shops, it's really got everything you might need to be really content. We didn't ski, this was our lodgings as we was on a trip to go ice driving, but skiing looked amazing and has inspired us to learn so we can re-visit!
