Resumen de la reserva
The hotel itself appears to be nice. Had a very good breakfast and pool and no issues with the room. Issues are with safety when your car is broken into, in front of the hotel, during the middle of the day. Then we burned $150 on a night we were not there, because we had to drive home that night, due to no window and rain on the forecast the next morning. I will say the front desk guy helped sweep the glass from my car and gave us some trash bags for it, unfortunately in that traffic and merging we had to take them off. It was a rather obnoxious 3.5 hours home.
Room was NASTY!!! Walls and floors were thin!!! I heard stomping and bumping all night!!! NEVER AGAIN! The shower had a wet dirty rag and there was urine behind the toilet. The trash can had trash in it from the prior guest. The fridge didn't even get cold.
The ac was blah, it was not cool in our room. The refrigerator was warm. The bathroom door didn't latch or lock. The internet was spotty. There was 20 kids running the halls messing with the ice machine and trying to open our door. The shower was great…if you didn't need water, the water pressure sucked. The breakfast was gas station quality, the sausage patties were microwaved hard and the turkey links were cold. The remote only worked half the time. The coffee machine was great and the waffles, if you could get one. We should have went with an Airbnb.
Perfect for flying out. Close to the airport, reasonable overnight parking for BW members. Light cold breakfasts for early travelers. The coffee is good! The staff is helpful and friendly. We have stayed many times and will continue to use BW
The king bed was inviting and comfortable. The room was large and clean. I was so happy to have a good night's rest! We arrived very late and were exhausted from being on airplanes all day, and we were so ready to find a cool and comfortable room, and that's exactly what we did!
This hotel is GORGEOUS. The room was SUPER comfy, the pillows and bed were amazing. I travel a lot for work and will definitely be returning! Josh was THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! I was exhausted and he was truly wonderful about helping me check in and making sure I was aware of everything I needed.
Very clean and well-kept property! friendly and helpful staff! guest rooms are very nice and up to date. Internet service was strong on the 4 floor. Location gave me the impression of a safe place to park with well lite self parking lot. Location was close to airport a d 20 minutes to downtown.
Very clean. Nice updated decor. Friendly helpful staff. Easy to find location. Good parking. Great option for park and fly. Airport shuttle was timely and helpful. Grab and go breakfast for an early flight was a fantastic touch. Check in was a breeze.
Great place to stay. Have stayed here multiple times. Definitely recommend. The breakfast has many options. Shuttle driver is very nice takes only a few minutes to arrive at the airport. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend
The hotel "signature fragrance" is way too strong! I had to wear a mask any time I came or left my room because it burned my nose and eyes! I suggest that anyone with respiratory problems and/or sensitivity to fragrances call ahead and let them know - maybe they can turn the dispersal down! The breakfast was awesome though; I wasn't expecting all of the choices! I might be willing to wear a mask again just because of the selections they offer!
Top notch location. Breakfast was outstanding though way too much plastic going into the trash What would be harm of having recycle bins?So many hotels recycle nowadays -shame on youBest Western.clean room carpeting needed cleaning. Comfy beds.
Hands down top notch hotel! As a solo business traveler, I have experienced a few dozen hotels in this area over the last several weeks for work and this place consistently exceeds the levels of comfort, service, and extras, every single time! Front desk staff, young man named Josh, is at the top of his game, never missing a beat, always one step ahead from easy, consistent, check-in to complementary missing items, and EV charging information on site. I have learned the price point is well deserving as so called highly touted/regarded more expensive hotels in the general area have been subpar and flat out disappointing!! I have even ventured to ask Josh one evening what makes this location (not all locations of this same chain operate at this level mind you) offer such high quality and outstanding service in my opinion? His simple humble reply paraphrased..."management here takes our service/training very serious...they are serious about offering that level of service to our guests." It is refreshing to see and hear that and I would highly recommend for families, and any travelers passing through the area looking for comfort, great amenities, and superior service. Room: really soft beds, pillows, cold A/C (somewhat noisy-being honest, however didn't bother me); large flat screen tv-great channel lineup; fridge and microwave in room-no freezer section in mini fridge; really nice big shower-updated bathroom, complimentary toiletries if you forgot yours-including toothbrushes and razors-just ask front desk Parking: big lot, free parking, complimentary EV chargers on side closest to airport rental car lot(ask staff for charging key, to turn on). Breakfast: hot and to-go items included-only used grab n go items as I'm usually leaving before breakfast starts Location: by the airport, not too noisy to notice in my opinion, multiple routes/options to get around city; safe location-I would not think twice(especially w airport rental car lot next door-seems like they are always busy and running). Food: few fast food options within a few miles if that
The check-in process took more information than a credit application. The flow of water from the shower head was hardly more than a trickle. I should have sponge bathed out of the sink. The breakfast the next morning was not any better. The bacon looked almost raw. I also do not understand why they do not have an ice machine in the food area. I had to wait for the elevator to go to the 2nd floor and get ice out of the ice machine. That in itself was no small treat trying to catch ice in a water cup. Then i had to wait again for the elevator. By the time I got back, my wife was done with hr breakfast and mine was cold. There are better hotels in the area for less money.
I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful these people are that work for you here in this motel it is they were so kind and generous to me. My flight was canceled three times and they did everything they could to help me and the rooms were spotless and I if I could, I'd give them 20 stars.
The hotel was so clean and smelled amazing. The room was extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
3-night stay for relaxation. BEST RELAXING MUSIC in the lobby, but there was a stench for the first 24 hrs that I stayed in the room most of the time to not trigger my asthma. The next 2 days no stench. Hot and cold items on breakfast....for gluten/dairy allergy folks - boiled eggs, apples, oranges, dried cranberries, Silk almond milk, but no bread items. for disabled folks - disabled rooms huge, shower leaked into bathroom floor but I think that a much larger double shower curtain with liner would have solved that problem. VERY CLEAN. Even though it's by airport, they have double heavy window blinds that really took away almost all sounds of the planes except an occasional whoosh! Pool very nice - heated but not hot - water cloudy but no chlorine smell. Ladies & Gentleman - they have a FOLGERS COFFEE maker and a COFFEE DRINK maker (and I mean a LOT of choices - espresso, latte, everything) for FREE all 24 hrs of the day!!! TV is not a Smart TV, but a lot of channels were helpful. Very little noise. Guest laundry wonderful with $2 each wash/dry.
I was in town for my birthday. We definitely had a blast. We enjoy hanging out in the lobby watching TV enjoying the NBA Playoffs. The loony always smelled so good and was always clean. There was always on gentleman name Josh that worked front desk that was always attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable. IMPO, he definitely needs a raise!! Hard working young man. Also, the breakfast was awesome awesome. The lady that was over the breakfast was so NICE!! She was one of the nicest lady you will ever meet. She went beyond you job duties to make sure everyone had enough to eat and even offered to throw away people tray after they were done eating. SHE NEEDS A RAISE ALSO. I'm a small business owner from Arkansas. If I could, I would offer both of these individuals a job with my company. That's how impressed I was with their services. Thanks for your hard work. In today's work force with everyone stuck to their cell phones and not being concerned with the CUSTOMER, I'm just blown away with these two workers!!
This a perfect hotel for people flying out of STL. Very clean, microwave in room, large selection of cable channels. Free shuttle with Assad as an excellent driver who takes you where need to be on-time. Free hot breakfast. Pool to relax and exercise night before your flight. Great front desk attendant named Josh who knows how to take care of the hotel's guests-and does it with a smile. Reasonable prices for a quality, safe and secure stay.
Pros: The staff were great. Hotel is under 10 minutes from the airport. Alamo car rental is behind the hotel. The national one is in front. Enterprise is a 4 min drive right up the street. They have a fridge that has some complimentary snacks. Plates/silverware available 24/7. There's a machine that has variety of drinks to choose from(tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc). Parking is free. Cons: Early check in before noon is $75 and from noon- 15:00 I think is $30. $30 isn't bad, just the $75. I had issues with cleanliness of the rooms I happen to get. There seems to be mold issue. The shower and tub area needed repair on certain parts. It looked old. Noise is okay. I've been to worse places. You can hear people in the hallway. I did hear arguments and some snoring. Last thoughts: The staff did attempt to help with each issue. The staff was the best thing about this experience.
The hotel was one of the best ones we stayed at during our 15 day vacation through 5 states. The staff was very caring, the facility and rooms clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat; it is very near all the car rental returns (right next door to Alamo and National) and has shuttles to and from the airport which can be seen from the hotel. I highly recommend this Best Western!
I have been to this hotel 3 times and I liked it, the staff and the service have always been the best, the location is very accessible to different places, I have come on vacation trips and I have been very satisfied with the comfort and amenities. I like that they offer free breakfast, you avoid having to leave so early to look for a place to eat, if you want to rest. They also have a free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport.
Windows were broken out of 4 cars the night we stayed at this hotel and some of them were from the group we were with. Also need to tell you that even though this place looks clean be suspect of the food being sanitary at breakfast. The front desk guy had stains all over his shirt when we checked in on Saturday afternoon and he had the same stained shirt on Sunday morning so we opted to pay to eat somewhere.
Hotel was very clean, smelled amazing, comfortable bed. Parking is well lit with cameras to ensure safe parking while I traveled. I will definitely be utilizing them again for future ‘stay and parks' when traveling.
It is said that a hotel is only as good as its team members. In that case, this hotel fails miserably!! The hotel is new, and rooms are relatively clean and comfortable. I have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past 3 months, to be close for early morning fights. Yesterday, i walked in at 2:52 pm and approached the desk. There were two men at the desk, and one looked up and stated: "Check in is at 3;00...you can walk over and wait in that area (pointed to dining room) along with the other man who just walked in. Really? I stated that I have stayed in many hotels, and never heard of this. I was shocked! I was told that they are busy, and performing a shift change! He then stated:'If you dont like it, i will refund your money and you can go somewhere else'. I went to my 'corner' as instructed.where the other guy just shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes. The 'jerk' was coming on duty...as he was there hours later. The other guy seemed very nice, and kept totally quiet during the interchange. I remember this guy from a previous visit, where i noted his rudeness....and arogance. Nothing like today! This guy has NO CONCEPT of customer service, and is simply the most arrogant, entitled, jerk i have EVERY experienced in my THOUSANDS of hotel stays. Horrendous attitude!! I stayed, but only because i wanted to finish a gift card...and then NEVER RETURN. A friend also checked in later, and I shared the story with him. He knew just who the guy was, and he will go back to the 'other' hotel we previously utilized down the street. This hotel has some crazy policies, and is certainly a bit different....but this team member is the worst of the worst! In reading a few other complaints on this site....this isn't the first time he has had a negative review. Actually....there were a few about management also. Perhaps this customer service attitude it starts at the top? IDK? Regardless...i would stay away. There is a lovely IGH property a block down the street, and two Marriott properties in close proximity with engaging team members. Its a shame, as Marcie (breakfast host) is one of the LOVELIEST people i have ever run into. She is someone that BRINGS PEOPLE BACK!. Unfortunately, even her warmth and welcoming smile cannot make up for this front desk JERK. Again, i would NEVER stay here. Not that it matters, but i am a Diamond Elite member (which i obtained with stays over 3 months late last year while trying a few nice Best Western Hotels). I think corporate should step in a this property.....as it is a poor reflection of Best Western.
There was'nt anything bad about our experience. We were on a business trip and we were happy the knowledgeable staff, the shuttle and breakfast area. Good place. The location was great since close to airport and we were able to eat at a classy Italian restaurant nearby.
Quick check in, friendly service ,clean comfortable rooms and courtesy shuttle to airport.since our flight was so early they did have some grab and go breakfast treats for ro take. It's the perfect spot for the proximity to the airport
This hotel was extremely clean and smelled amazing. Everything was like new and kept in impeccable condition. The staff were helpful when needed and the airport shuttle was right on time! I will be coming back when I'm in St. Louis.
I chose this location because it was close to the airport and it provided the best value. Room was clean, amenities were great, check in and out were a breeze, and even provided reasonable long-term parking while we traveled out of the country for a week. I plan to stay at this property again when I travel. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great night's sleep and great value. And staff members treat you like family.
Nice hotel that is close to the airport but with minimal customer service and bad corporate policies. In an attempt to avoid Winter Storm Gerri, we arrived at the hotel at 2:00 p.m. Despite being a Diamond Select member, I was informed that it would be a $30 charge to check in an hour early, even if my room happened to be already cleaned. EVERY other hotel chain would have worked with me on this. Also, not friendly at all. We left and killed time elsewhere. When we returned, the person who checked us in showed less friendliness than the self check-in machine at Southwest Airlines that we used the next morning. Other than that, clean rooms, lots of coming and going at all hours (due to being an airport hotel), and a self-service coffee machine that helped us make our early flight. Oh yeah, one more thing. They have lists of what every single item in the bathroom costs, as well as a disclaimer that YOU are responsible as the person who rented the room. I was afraid I needed to count everything first (like some condos I have rented in the past) to make sure I wouldn't be charged. Weird sketchy feel from an otherwise nice hotel).
Helen O'Neal the manager or lack there of needs fired from this location. She is aggressive in nature and does not belong in customer service. Do not recommend this location would give 0 stars if possible
Staff went out of the way to be helpful and take care of unexpected travel complications on my part. Good, spacious, clean rooms with really good amenities--Indoor pool was really good and the breakfast selections excellent.
When we travel to and from St. Louis, we always choose Best Western Plus. Super convienent to the airport. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The airport shuttle staff are always on time and helpful with our luggage.
Always a nice stay. Clean, Quiet and Convenient. Rated 4 because the pool was not heated. We stay here often and would definitely recommend. Close to restaurants and major highways. We will most definitely be back!
We were awaken by bed bugs and, manager, Helen Capps-O'Neal, did nothing to rectify the situation. She also did not provide us coins to use the laundry facility although we never planned to use them UNTIL we were met by THEIR bed bugs. All we were offered was to be moved to another room. Yeah right!! We still have not received a refund for that night or the following night that we refused to stay because of this situation. The front desk employee said that this was a regular occurrence for them and that they had just some rooms for bed bugs. We will be seeking legal action.
We had a late check in and had nothing to worry about. Greeted when we arrived by name and helped get us what we needed for a late night snack. My group loved our pillows, so we had some new ones packaged for purchase when we checked out, it was great!
This was a very hospitable hotel! They had shuttle service to and from the hotel which helped with our stressful flight cancellation. We had a nice, clean room, good breakfast, and friendly service. Ocean at the front desk was friendly and let us stay in the lobby to wait for our later flight. Will stay again!
Great hotel would stay again, clean , good location, friendly staff, clean pool , comfortable beds and i felt very safe, clean lines, clean room hotel is updated with breakfast, the parking lot was full the weekend i stayed, clean lobby , and back hall nice sitting area in back hall, i ready enjoy my stay
Bathroom was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, parking was easy and they offered several amenities but I didnt use. They offer a pool, breakfast, gym, and snack center. Everything was new looking.
Excellent hotel, clean, there was a nice meeting room available for large parties. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was modern and up to date amenities. Room services was wonderful. We did not have to ask for anything.
This place is practically brand new throughout. It was rebuilt a couple years ago after a fire destroyed the old building. The pillow top mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast buffet is awesome!
Room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable. But for us it was expensive: we paid 20,000 points. We consider that too expensive for the kind of service they provide. The receptionist who checked us in (July 6 around 3 pm) had a weird demeanor. He (a young man) seemed to be angry or upset. My wife and I had the same impression: he was talking to me in a kind of aggressive way (just to give information!). He needs to be retrained or look for a job that he can enjoy. On the contrary, the woman who checked us out (July 7 at 10:50 am) was very nice. The swimming pool had a cloudy water (I was unable to see anything -with my googles- under the water!) Location was very good. We will probably do not stay there again (there are many hotels with better service and lower price in St. Louis).
I just wanted to give major props to Jason and Abril here at the St. Louis airport hotel. They have gone above and beyond our entire stay. We were looking for Chinese food in the area and they recommended the place they order from which was top notch. Not only that but later they came and knocked on our room they found out at Check in we were getting ready to go celebrate our anniversary on a trip and they came up to our room and gave us a personalized card from them congratulating us on our anniversary. The sweetest thing and also not only a great memory to start our trip, but also a small token that will for sure help us to choose this destination when flying out in the future!
Good for a nights stay if you have a late evening or early morning flight as it is close to the airport. The customer service is good, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was average. Sausage gravy was cold as they forgot to turn on the crock pot.
Jason and the team at Best Western Plus blew my expectations out of the water. The hotel was nice and clean. Jason was over-the-top friendly and answered questions with enthusiasm. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the airport and they allow cars to stay on property for a fee. It made our trip so much easier. I will be staying there every time we use the STL airport.
Good, clean hotel; with professional and helpful staff, good amenities. Pretty good warm breakfast. No complaints about anything. Nice, peaceful sleep at night. Good location--just across from the airport and very close to the city.
I had this hotel booked so I was close to the STL airport for my flight the next day. Southwest canceled my flight at 2:40 a.m. the morning of my check in. My cancellation time had passed yes, but I no longer needed this room, and wanted to cancel so the room could be used for stranded Southwest fliers. But this hotel refused to cancel, even for an Elite member such as myself. I had to drive an hour and a half to stay at this hotel just so I could use the reservation instead of being charged for two rooms that I didn't stay in. The hotel is fine, but a few staff members need to be trained on use of travel cards and how to enter them in the system for the guest. This hotel could have been a little more flexible with the cancellation as well. Seeing the drama that was going on with Southwest, it could have easily been canceled and upcharged for other guests use.
Unpleasant checking experience very disrespectful and nasty attitude by a flamboyant individual named Jason. This person can sink a ship by himself and can responsible for the difference in 3 star and 2 star.
Room was clean, breakfast needed more attention and almost no breakfast drink options, coffee was machine instant, shuttle was 15 mins late even though we were told to be early! It was also cold and the shuttle was just setting in the parking lot, the elevator had a sewer smell, a lot of small reasons
The staff were friendly and helpful and visited with us. Both rooms were clean and in great working order. The breakfast had a good selection and was well stocked. Great value. We would stay again if in St Louis.
They offer parking for $10 a day and a shuttle to the airport. This service was convenient and perfect for my flights. Plus the rooms was clean and and nice. Made my travel easy and the price couldn't be beat! As a single female I felt safe and welcome.
We had an absolute great stay. At check in, I spoke with April (I believe that is her name). She went above and beyond! She initially put us on the 4th floor. We were ready to go on our way. I asked her where the stairs were as I am claustrophobic and don't do elevators. Without even asking, she changed us to the 2nd floor. We had a fight out the next day, she told us to make sure we watched our flight as it was supposed to snow. We thanked her and went on our way. Our room was very nice, and very clean. Our was very quiet as well there. Yes, you hear planes and the highway but still you couldn't hear other guests. Check out was easy as was the shuttle. We will definitely go back!
The front desk clerk, Jayson, was awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. This hotel is very clean and very nice. It's not in the best neighborhood, but it's very close to the airport. I always stay here when flying out of STL
I really wanted to give you a 5 star rating, but the condition of the room and the guy working evenings weren't up to standard. I had to clean something off the headboard that looked like someone opened something carbonated and it sprayed. Also there were parts in the bathroom in disrepair. The guy working in the evenings didn't acknowledge us one night and the next was no where to be seen both times we returned. There was someone sleeping in front of the TV. Unsure if that was him. We were greeted by a wonderful woman when we checked in and the location to the airport couldn't be better. We were able to return our car the night before we left and take the shuttle to the airport in the morning. Budget was within walking distance after dropping it off. If you are a light sleeper the side facing the airport is not going to work. You hear planes, trains, and I70. Also. If you are next to housekeeping you hear their carts in the room next to you rolling around. Overall we would stay there again with a little adjustment to our room.
Front desk clerk at check in was horrible. She didn't want to do anything to help me and she also made alot of smart remarks even though I stayed calm and I didn't get upset with her either just figured that she was having a bad day
Good stay. Very clean, modern, updated. Quiet despite being next to the airport. Breakfast was full. Powdered eggs, pork she turkey sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, packaged oatmeal, cereal, breads, fruit, yoplait, boiled egg, juice, coffee, tea. Would stay again!
I was in town visiting my husband during my break. I love this hotel and friendly staff. They are very accommodating and friendly. They know my husband by name. We're both greeted cordially upon entrance to the hotel. I truly love the indoor heated pool.
The receptionist, Mike K. gave top notch service at the front desk at the Best Western Plus. He was very helpful and thorough in his explanations. One of the best customer service employees I have ever encountered.
It's beautiful it's well appointed it has a free breakfast the rooms are pristine and beautiful furnishings , r a kureg coffee maker, The rooms are spacious With king beds or 2 queens the beds are wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen is opened during the evening and you can go down and get caughthen go down and get coffee juice or a yogurt but the breakfast from 6 to 9 do not miss it it is wonderful wonderful fresh food.. If you don't have time they have breakfast to go breakfast bars bananas oatmeal to go. The fitness center is beautiful it's just the right appointments but the indoor pool Is beautiful. They will pick you up from the airport and they will take you to the airport as early as 4 AM with a breakfast to go that is the kind of service I deserve. If you book online a week ahead and to join their Club I'm telling you get The best rate !
Jason was wonderful during check-in and when we had an issue in our room he immediately came and took care of it. Housekeeping did an amazing job and were very friendly when I asked for something. The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. Everything was very clean. Pool was open but cold. Breakfast was subpar.
Location was very convenient, just not the most picturesque place near the airport. All staff was outstanding - friendly and helpful. Room was up to date, operated wonderfully and all was very clean. Will stay again!
Great, friendly staff, clean rooms and good amenities (Gym, Indoor-Pool, Wifi). The pool was clean and well maintained. Good breakfast (on the occasions I had breakfast, though I wish they did not put cheese in all their omelets!).
Had to book this hotel at the very last minute. We missed our connection and was just so tired and disappointed. Got to the hotel and our moods changed for the better. The room was clean, bed was comfortable (was hard getting up for our 5am flight) and the staff were pleasant, Mike K was nice and understanding, very accommodating and ensured the shuttle was on time to pick us up. Thank you Best Western Plus for making our trip easier on us
The front desk staff was incredible! Raven was super kind and helpful. She has an uplifting personality that really set the tone for my trip. The following morning I headed to the airport before breakfast began. I really appreciated the grab and go breakfast table that was setup. The shuttle to the airport was also very helpful!
Dolly & Raven both were extremely helpful at check in. Also, I'm sorry that I didn't get the 2 different young men's names that helped us at different times during the night as we went to the Cards game but both of them also were gems. This trip EVERY staff member was VERY helpful, nice, personable & EXTREMELY professional. We had made our minds up to start looking for a different hotel brand to be loyal to ... BUT after THIS stay we have a RENEWED love for our beloved BEST WESTERN brand again; and want to say THANK Y'ALL to your staff that took the time to read our notes & understand it truly is the little things that make all the difference to us your loyal customers. absolutely A++++ BEDS & HOT WATER PRESSURE, AS ALWAYS CLEAN- CLEAN - CLEAN
Always clean and attractively decorated facility. Helpful, pleasant, attentive staff. Close to airport and on a main road to most city attractions. Comfortable beds and pillows. Room darkening shades. Ample sized updated, upscale baths. Lighted mirror. Large rooms with lounge chair with ottoman and comfortable desk chair. Quiet clientele. Large breakfast area and common area.
This hotel is located next to the rental car agencies away from the airport. The area appeared to be safe and was quiet at night. The hot breakfast was very well stocked and included hot items such as western omelets pre-made, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties and make your own waffles! Plus a nice assortment of bagels, muffins, breads, fruit, cereal, yogurt, boiled cold eggs, coffee, tea and juices. The room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable pillow top bed. The bathroom had a walk in shower the size of a bath tub. The TV was huge, at least 52 inches. Air/heat unit was quiet and thermostat on the wall. A small fridge and microwave plus Kuerig coffee maker was provided as well as a safe for valuables. We were very pleased with out stay. Airport free shuttle was a big plus!
This hotel is easily one of the best hotels at St. Louis Airport hotel. It is your best bang for buck. No extra charges for things like breakfast, wifi, parking, and shuttle. Fitness room and indoor pool are above average. One of the newer properties around. Elegant and modern decor.
It was such a wonderful experience. Then I left and went to another hotel (sonesta at Westport,) Was the worse place I went to. Left before checkout ,I was getting ill from it being filthy, dirty To bad that best Western plus didn't have the rooms available otherwise I would of stayed. Next time when I come back , I'll be visiting the best western plus. Best experience I had
Excellent. I will be staying there again whenever I am in St. Louis. Their Check in agent were very exceptional. They have the best Breakfast that I have seen in other hotel. The hotel was close to Rental car facility and other restaurants
Needed a place to stay on our cross country route. The price was great, the room immaculate, the free breakfast was good and convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable.
We were here on a Sunday evening. The hotel was clean, up to date and well taken care of. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well furnished as well. The heating/cooling system was quiet and worked well. No bad odors in the room at all.
Very nice staff and hotel. The breakfast each morning was full of tons of different options - sausage, a make your own waffle bar, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, and more! I would definitely stay here again.
Raven at the Best Western Plus Airport Hotel was absolutely superb and so helpful and kind during my July 13-17 stay. She was always happy to provide help regarding driving directions, grocery stores nearby, and could not have been nicer. Raven did a wonderful job making hotel guests feel welcome. Than You Raven. Be Well, With gratitude, Ben S.
Upon check-in, Demetrius, the front desk attendant, indicated that my request for an ADA Accessible room for my wife's needs had apparently been overlooked. He immediately switched our booking to place us in an ADA room without any hesitation whatsoever. This outstanding young man made this BWI stay a most memorable one and earned him and the hotel a glowing review both on the BWI reviews site, but here as well. Very well done, Demetrius!
The hotel was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Quiet rooms. I could not hear the air traffic or the road traffic. Front desk ladies were very kind. Pool looked inviting and workout room was nice. Of course pricey in these times but if using all amenities it is almost worth the cost. I would recommend over any hotel in the area.
Stayed here a week ago before our trip to Alaska and made arrangements to stay when we got back into town. Our plane arrived at STL at 1200. We had told them that we'd be arriving at 12 to which they said no problem. We get here to find that they gave our room to someone else and there were only two other rooms empty and neither of them were clean. They cleaned one of the rooms for us but we wonder...
A little expensive for a few hours of sleep but very nice staff and clean facility. Airport shuttle couldn't have been any easier so big marks for convenience. Front desk young gentleman was super personable and helpful.
The minute you check into the hotel a wonderful experience begins. The desk staff is considerate and helpful. The rooms are immaculate, the beds comfortable and clean. The amenities are clean and in great working condition, and the breakfast is well served. I recommend this to all within the view of my review.
Raven is an amazing asset to your company. She's a bright light and very helpful and understanding. I always check my hotel room for dust or gross things left over. I'm not upset, I did forward my findings to Raven so please talk to her, she knows this isn't a negative thing, it's just to bring awareness and make sure all the managers are on the same page as far as cleanliness. Beautiful lobby, beautiful staff. We just need to focus on the little details! Thank you ❤️
Super super warm in St Louis for this stay. A/c worked great. Everyone was kind and helpful. Room was clean. No shuttle available but was promptly scheduled for Lyft in place of it. Would def stay again. Super close to the airport
After a cancelled flight we had to quickly find overnight accommodation and this was literally five minutes from the airport. I think the hotel could've been recently built or re-renovated we had a room on the fourth floor. It had been decorated in modern colours grey the bed was a good and comfortable size and that had the usual chair and desk and coffee machine. Did not have a fridge. The bathroom was fresh although I noticed the sealant around the shower which was a good size was starting to look warm. Everything was clean and spic and span. The breakfast which was included in the price was a good standard American choice of breakfast. It obviously was a well used hotel as they were people coming and going the customer service was very helpful. They were unable to provide a shuttle service to the airport so they used Uber which was a great service. I would say it was a good place to stopIf you need to be near the airport.
I made the trip with my child often aged 6 and 8. The main reason we went was to have a pool to go swimming in. Paid $250 dollars and the pool was 75 degrees when we got there. My sos tried to go swimming anyway, but were unable to use the pool at all.
The staff was friendly and polite. I made a request and it was fulfilled immediately. When I return to St. Louis I make sure I stay at the Best Western Plus Airport. The food was hot. The pillows was just the way I like them.
This is obviously an old Best Western that they painted and slapped some mass market art on the walls so they could charge double the price. Coffee maker and fridge didn't work. The water pressure is low and water slimy. Pool was cloudy. The AC only worked if you set it on the lowest temp possible. I asked for two extra pillows and was told it was impossible without stealing pillows off of someone else's bed- a thing they did and then gave me without fresh pillowcases. So gross.
This was a quick overnight stay before an early flight. The staff including Raven and Bobby were exceptional in their hospitality. The hotel was bright, clean and attractive. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was large! Travel to and from the airport was quick and easy. Definitely a spot for us to use on future trips!
The Best Western Plus at St Louis Airport is a hidden jewel. Great value, great amenities for the price. 15 minutes from everything in the area. Safe and easy access to the airport. The team was very attentive and responded to any request promptly.
This property was too short staffed for how busy it was. This particular location needs more employees. There was only two clerks on duty and one had to leave to drive the shuttle to pick up people from the airport. The service desk line was always way too long.
We were super pleased with this decision for a last minute hotel stay super clean + comfy beds. It was efficient + shuttle was easy to arrange and accommodating friendly driver. Perfect solution for an early morning flight.
Beautiful hotel, great price. Navy and grey color scheme. All furnishings high quality. Bed was so comfortable, pillows perfect. Pool is open. Full breakfast, lovely dining area. Open, light, airy. Staff is friendly and top-notch! I travel a lot and this hotel is among the best I've experienced!
The team members are awesome they make you feel welcome. I feel like I'm at home great experience. The cleanliness of the rooms are great. The amenities offered are awesome fitness room, pool. I will definitely be back again
I chose this Best Western because it was close to the airport. It was better than expected. It was new, clean and modern. All of the help were courteous and friendly and the location was hard to beat. I didn't even hear the planes taking off across the highway.
If you have to catch a flight out of STL and need a place to stay the night before the flight, you won't find a better place for than this nearby hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms spacious and immaculate, the breakfast offers a variety of hot entrees, and despite being minutes away from the airport, it's quiet. For all the amenities this hotel offers, their rates are a bargain. I highly recommend this Best Western Plus for your overnight stay before flying out of St. Louis.
The front desk agent, named Raven was such a delight! She was happy to assist & it was apparent she loves her job. I travel frequently and I would recommend this property based on my positive experience with her.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus. The staff was great! The rooms are nice and cozy. The breakfast was delightful, and filling. Housekeeping was Super Amazing! I would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus again!!!
Dangerous and unprofessional. Unfortunate situation for the check in staff to have to handle the homeless population on their own. Definitely a situation that calls for security guards outside of the building to control a safe environment for guests.
One of the best hotel. They have very friendly customer service agents. The rooms are clean and the complimentary breakfast is excellent, I look forward to staying there again and again. Also, they have a bus service to the Airport and in close proximity to the Rental car facilities.
From booking to leaving this hotel was a great experience.Staff upon entering the property, checkin and checkout was a smooth and helpful information, shuttle to the airport was a great experience and on time. Definitely and Highly recommend.
It's situated very near the airport (hence the name) and all the associated car rental places and that sort of thing. There is a small-ish restaurant a stone's throw away that looks to be akin to a Huddle House or slightly nice than usual Waffle House. I haven't visited it, but have been told it's pretty good. The hotel itself is about what you'd expect. Pretty clean, decent-sized bed, cable TV, that same breakfast offering you see at most hotels (scrambled eggs, a waffle maker, coffee, yogurt, etc), small gym downstairs, swimming pool, etc. They have a fairly wide range of drinks and snacks for purchase in the lobby. The cleaning staff I met were helpful and genial. The star of the show, though, is the front desk. Krystal was the woman I spoke with when reserving a room and I immediately knew she was good at her job. Great telephone etiquette, helpful, sincere. All the things you want in a person in that position. When I met her in person the morning after check-in, though, I found out she is actually fantastic at her job. There was a problem with our keys that she fixed for us without a single eye rolled or even a hint of being annoyed at having to help us. She was kind and jovial and a pleasure to speak with while we chatted for several minutes a few times as we entered or left the building. I overheard her helping another guest find a ride (the driver apparently got lost and she had to guide him back to the hotel) and she even kept an eye out and let the guest know when his ride finally showed up. It's a shame there is no comment box or feedback form on-site because I would really like to let her immediate superiors know how well she is treating their guests. It's not a 5-star Hilton resort, but it's definitely not Crackpipe Lane. We didn't encounter any drunken guests stumbling around the hallways or get woken up by loud parties or anything like that. In fact, I don't remember even hearing a plane take off or land while inside, despite being very near the runways. I would stay here again.
Hotel has been built with love and professionalism and it shows from the moment you check in to the moment you check out. Would definitely stay again. The rooms are clean and the decor is nice, with high-quality linens and bedding. Hotel offers a free airport shuttle and breakfast, rental cars are nearby, and the hotel is near the airport. Excellent value and pleasant stay.
The hotel exceed my expectations, after reading a variety of reviews for several hotels I was not confident I would be pleased with most as it seems COVID customer service has changed the travel experience. We were pleased as the décor was updated, surroundings were clean and simple. Were every speck of dust & stains gone no but nothing to complain about.
Thanks for being so helpful Cynthia. Cynthia checked us in with ease and made me feel confident with the process of shuttling wjrh my flight. Hotel was clean ans modern. I encourage anyone to stay with best western in saint Louis
Very clean and nice Friendly staff. Great location great service getting to and from the airport I always stay at his place every chance I come to St. Louis. I always enjoy the nice hot breakfast specially now that the weathers turning colder I'm looking forward to coming back there in a couple weeks.
I always read reviews before making hotel reservations. I usually stay at one of two brand name hotels. However, when searching for where to stay in St. Louis, the reviews for the other top brand name hotels were unfavorable, ranging from safety issues, car break-ins, dated furnishings, illegal activity, etc. In reading the Best Western reviews for this location, I felt that this was my safest bet, and it was a more reasonable rate. I was totally satisfied with every aspect of this location. This included the cleanliness; room comfort including chair/ottoman, desk and bed; location to airport (I could have rented a car the following morning and saved one night car rental as three car rental companies are within walking distance of this hotel); fitness center with televisions and quality working equipment (stationary bike, elliptical cross trainer, 2 treadmills-I used the gym both days of my stay and was the only person in there, so felt very safe regarding covid-19 protocols); proximity to eating establishments; cost; and included a full breakfast (I'm not one to eat early, so I didn't take advantage of this). You cannot go wrong in staying at this brand new hotel.
staff was so nice and accommodating Myself and my work team loved the hot in house breakfast clean, great price, an awesome location to our work site, it was relaxing quiet and nice after a long work day As long as a room is available we will continue to stay here until our job is complete
I needed to spend one day working on video conferences all day before a family event on Saturday. The internet worked well and supported my needs. Hotel is walking distance to Subway and a restaurant, which was also super-easy. Did not need to rent a car for my short trip, which was perfect.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport Hotel to pick up my Grandson from the Military. It was very clean and quite nice. The entire hotel was clean and updated. The absolutely best beds I've slept in away from home in years!! The lady that checked us in was very friendly and pleasant. I will always stay here when I have family arriving in St. Louis from now on!
I live in this area and made a quick decision to book a one night stay for family flying out the next day. They loved it! The area is very convenient for food and excellent for car rental. Perfect choice.
Pro: We checked in late on Thursday night- The front desk employee was bubbly and cheerful and very helpful. Being near the airport I didn't have high hopes for a decent night's sleep but I was pleasantly surprised! First, the hotel was either new or newly renovated because it had a new hotel smell (which is great for me) Lovely Blue.Gray, Gold theme throughout. The room was fresh and clean. I loved loved loved the blackout shades- no beam of a street light keeping you up here! The noise was minimal from the street (unless it was a horn or loud truck) and we never heard planes! Breakfast was great carbs and sugary goodness- my personal favorite :) Though there were a fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal options. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed 2 nights! Con: The AC "clugged " when it came on and went off- That could probably be an easy fix.
This is a fairly new, budget friendly hotel with free basic breakfast. It is located across the street from the airport which is convenient but loud as flights take off all through the night. This hotel is perfectly adequate for a night's stay while traveling.
Everyone was nice and place was clean I will stay here again, Front desk was helpful One housekeeper went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and she was pleasent person.her name is Mary Vitale... All other house keepers were not a friendly
Booked this 2 days before our trip. They had the lowest rate but good reviews, so we took a chance and it was very nice and clean. I wiped the room down due to Covid and nothing was dirty. The staff were very nice and helpful.
This is a great hotel! Well maintained, great location and great staff. Will definitely use the hotel again. Rooms are clean and roomy , hot breakfast was good. Definitely a keeper in our hotel rotation!
If you don't stay here when visiting St Louis, you've missed out. Helen is the GM, and is so charming and welcoming. And this hotel is new. And well thought out. The bathrooms are huge. USB's on the nightstand. Good lighting in the rooms. The rooms are modern and clean. I mean…what more do you want.
Happy with free parking & a good free breakfast. Room was nice and ac worked very well. Bed was ok but not the most comfortable. If you book this hotel then make sure it is in your name because if you book in your spouses name then you will be unable to check in.
I had a great experience. Good, clean, hotel with really good staff and amenities. The reason for the 4-stars and not 5, is because the lighting in the bathroom was pretty dim. The shower was just fine, but the lighting by the mirror was pretty dim and inadequate, especially while shaving. Other than this, this is a great hotel to stay in!
Very nice, quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast. Mediocre internet speeds. Convenient shuttle to STL. Seemed to be recently updated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Would recommend. Need to fill 200 characters is aggravating.
I booked through priceline and had no expectations. The hotel was very clean, my room was bright attractive colorful and comfortable. The airport shuttle was right on time and the to go breakfast was great. The staff is wonderful. A good value.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was yummy. The pool was very clean and nice. My room was very clean and cozy, beds were comfortable. Over all would defiantly go back!
Nice and friendly staff. We needed more towels and shampoo and they had it ready for us right away. We did have to go down to the front desk to pick them up. Breakfast options were good. We did not use the pool or workout center.
We stayed at this property on a weekend trip to st louis and it was a great experience. Brand new hotel, clean, large rooms, even bathrooms are big. Breakfast was included and yummy. It's not a downtown hotel but not far away from the city center. The only thing that kind of sucked was masks weren't mandatory during a covid delta variant surge in the state.
Exceptional staff, room was exceptionally clean, hot breakfast, extremely comfortable bed. Large bathroom with all the amenities. I would recommend this hotel over most I have stayed in. The price was in comparison to most
Very nice, clean and updated hotel. The bed was super comfy. The parking lot was well lit up. We checked in late with no issues at all. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we pass through the area again.
Had a great experience at this hotel. The hotel was clean and the shower was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were able to take a shuttle to the airport at 4:00 a.m. To top it all off, when our daughter was experiencing pain in her throat at 11:00 p.m., front desk staff immediately offered to drive us to the hospital. We had just turned in our rental car that evening.
This staff, especially Dolly, were the most helpful and friendly people I've ever encountered at any hotel. We've been all over the world and every person in the hotel was most gracious and helpful. We appreciate the great service, cleanliness and food and drink provided.
This hotel was just a short drive from the zoo and Gateway Arch which was convenient for our trip. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. We did not experience any issues and would stay at this property again on the next visit.
I have never stayed at a hotel with staff so kind. My flight landed 4 hours after it was originally supposed to, leaving me in a bind as to where to stay. I originally wen to the Hilton near by and was not pleased in the slightest which in turn lead me to this hotel just a couple of doors down. Though the front desk was busy, the young lady checking me in was all smiles, kind, informative, and quick. I was treated most respectfully and not as "just another guest." Come to find out the next morning, the woman who had checked me in was the general manager! I am still so impressed with her professionalism. You can tell this manager cared for her staff and guests not just sitting in an office but rather leading by example; most refreshing! I was able to start my day with hot coffee that was made available in the lobby paired with a breakfast burrito that was most tasty. The breakfast attendant, Marcia, was so very sweet ensuring all items were well stocked and the breakfast room remained sanitary between guests; but the wonderful service didn't stop there! A shuttle back to the airport was made available and only took 5 minutes. From check-in to my arrival back to the airport, every single staff member I encountered (no matter their position) was kind and smiling. Though I do not have plans to return to St. Louis in the near future, I will most definitely be returning to this property when the occasion arises, no question! They have set the bar for all future hotel stays.
According to the hotel, If you are "local" or an in-state resident, expect to have a 150.00 hold fee plus room charge applied to your reservation. I am giving the hotel/company a low rating, because of a clear LACK OF COMMUNICATION on the company's part at the time I made my reservation. When I made my reservation, I was not made aware that the room charge plus a ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLAR hold fee would be applied to my card, and did not learn of it until I showed up at the hotel to check in. I was told that this $150 hold fee was only being applied to those persons who were “local” and/or “ from the state”, at this particular property , which is interesting . I assume that this is either a screening policy, or maybe a “damage deposit” to discourage “certain types of individuals" or behaviors i.e loud parties”, from the hotel, which I didn't really have an issue with. Because I didn't have quite enough on this particular card to cover both the room AND the 150.00 hold charge, I was denied check in and the hotel clerk cancelled my reservation as a result. No complaints regarding the clerk, as she was only doing her job and following the hotel policy, though this was a communication error on the part of the company. I was also greatly inconvenienced and had to try and find another hotel to stay at. Had I known in advance when I reserved the room ,about the hold fee being as high as it was-150.00 , I would have used a different card where this hold fee could be covered in full, and where this wouldn't have been an issue or chose a different hotel. If there is a hold charge (and especially if is a large amount such as this), this should be relayed to the customer at the time of reservation, and not SPRUNG ON THEM when they arrive to check in. There was a clear lack of communication when I made the reservation regarding the hotel's policy. This experience certainly did not sit well with me ( thus this review). I was looking forward to my stay here, as it is a new hotel, and I am not very familiar with the Best Western hotel brand. Going forward, for myself, I will inquire about the hold fee/policy of any unfamiliar hotel I plan to visit, but the information “ should not be a secret” and there should be transparency on the part of the hotel/company regarding ANY additional fees, holds, etc. customers should not have this sprung on them when they get ready to check in.
Brand new hotel and great place to stay and great location next to STL international airport and awesome shuttle service! Great staff! I loved the newness of the hotel, all staff members were extremely helpful!
Front desk was really nice. Rooms are nice, hotels really pretty. Breakfast attendant didn't acknowledge when me and my daughters went to get food, not many options for breakfast but other than that it was a pleasant stay.
Business trip airport fly out stay in a nice new hotel. It was new so it was very clean. Rooms were quiet and I slept very good.Had a very good breakfast of cheese omelet and sausage with toast and jelly. Coffee and milk were both very tasty.
My family stayed at the Best Western plus St Louis Airport for 3 nights. We were pleasantly surprised with the up to date hotel, decor, etc. Also, even though it is right by the airport, it was not loud at all. The beds are very comfortable. Linens are soft. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. The pool is small, but so great to have when traveling with kids. And the fitness center looked amazing!! This was probably the first trip we did not use any type of fitness center. But it had dumbbells, bikes, treadmills, and medicine balls, with a wall specific to using those. Breakfast was hot! And free! My kids were in heaven eating waffles every morning. Overall a great experience!!
I had a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. I highly recommend it for any business traveler traveling to St. Louis. The front desk personnel were very friendly. It was within walking distance to restaurants. They have Airport shuttle also.
Hotel was very nice and super clean. I chose this hotel because of the shuttle and was told 2 different times that the shuttle stopped at 11 p.m. We arrived at the airport a little after 10 p.m, and they ended up sending a Lyft for us but our family of 5 could not fit in it. They called another one that was bigger and it was going to be 24 minutes. 5 minutes later that driver called and told us to cancel it because they were still over 20 minutes away. Front desk was very sorry and apologetic, and offered to call another one, but we ended up calling an uber on our own and it was there in 5 minutes. It ended up costing us $22
Very Clean rooms and a Very friendly staff that made my stay a joy. Covid precautions are taken seriously. I will definatly stay here again. They do have breakfast available, not just a grab and go bag. Very close to the Airport.
I had been in Austin, TX, for a visit. I was delayed due to the ice and snow. I needed to work remotely and it was very necessary to have reliable internet. I spoke to Helen Capps. She assured me that they had good wifi at this hotel, but also promised a room that was private and set up for business if necessary. She sent me a link for transportation to the hotel when I arrived at the airport. The breakfast the following morning was exceptional. I will DEFINITELY stay here again. It was clean and QUIET ( especially for a hotel directly across from the airport). Thank you Helen and your staff!
I was there for a family funeral and didn't want to stay with family so saw this hotel and i was very pleased with looks from the outside, once inside i saw how remarkably clean it was and decided to stay.
Amazing hotel and very close to STL. Very clean and hospitable. Great "to go" breakfast for early morning flights. Only issue was it was stated Free Parking, but were charged $5 a day. Also, stated airport shuttle, but only 1 way. They called an Uber for us but when we returned we called for a return and were told they didn't have anyone and that we had to take care of it ourselves. Not impressed with that service. I would have paid for parking had I known. BUT, I would definitely stay again with prior knowledge of these issues!
This is a new hotel in a nice location close to STL airport and the highway. Our room was large, modernly furnished and remarkably quiet given the proximity to the airport. The view of the inside of a parking garage wasn't that great but it didn't matter. Breakfast was minimal as usual these days but the microwaveable mini pancakes were actually tasty, and the selection of food showed a nice attention to detail down to the lovely hot chocolate mix. The staff was nice and responsive, the lobby spacious and the facilities looked good.
Front desk person went above and beyond with helping fix the reservation err that I made. She was amazing and didn't charge us extra for moving out stay date. The breakfast was good. Even tho it was to go items.
This hotel was amazing! Very reasonably priced and located close to the airport with a free shuttle and inexpensive long term parking. The inside is very nice and clean and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
I booked this particular hotel because of the great reviews and I must say it didn't disappoint. I tried to come up with something that I didn't like but couldn't. The rental car station was right next door which was a plus.
We arrived after a long day traveling to find Kevin at the Front Desk. He made sure to go out of his way to get us in a ground floor room since he could tell we were exhausted. We also enrolled in the new rewards program after we found out about all the benefits and the special rate we are given for being a member! We travel thru St. Louis often and have stayed at nearby hotels but none of them compared to the service that we encountered from Kevin and Helen the next morning at check out. This best western we found out was brand new after we walked in and even 2 months later it still had the "New Car" smell. Breakfast was Grab n Go due to city and county guidelines but that was totally ok as we are not really big breakfast eaters. We have a trip planned in January which will require us flying and we will now be staying at the Best Western Plus due to the service we encountered. Way to go everyone! Keep up the great work:)
My check in with Helen was seamless, the property is beautiful, centrally located and the room assigned to me was facing the airport. It was nice to see the planes landing and taking off. Overall, I'd definitely stay again soon.
I attempted to cash in my rewards points for a free stay at the Econo Lodge on Woodson Rd. in St Louis Missouri. Then when I went to checkout I was charged= for the stay. Many calls to Choice Hotels along with a letter to the President of the chain resulted only i9n promises of my money back. Over two months now and all I get are promises. Don't be fooled stay away from this chain.
Hotel offers free shuttle from Lambert Airport. Sit outside for 90 minutes after 2 calls to Econolodge for ride. Third call got ride. Shuttle bus does not have hotel name on it. Quality Inn shuttle services both hotels but customer is not informed of this fact. Phone is not answered by hotel, apparently who ever answers the phone is suppose to inform you of the fact. Three calls and still wasnt told this. Rooms cheap and clean. Breakfast is cereal, toast and on occasion coffee.Staff polite and friendly. Only restaurant in walking distance is Subway.
Could not have asked for a cleaner room, more polite clerks, etc. Breakfast was only cold cereal, etc. but just fine. Would have liked to take a cup of coffee when I left, but no food was allowed out of the eating area. Nice variety of snacks in the machines. Would be glad to stay there again.
The Econolodge is located next door to the National/Alamo car rental pickup area, which is convenient because you can catch a shuttle from the airport. The hotel has its own shuttle as well. The rooms are very basic, it's not real clean but it you want to go cheap, it's a good way to do it.
Thinking that we were only going to stay in the hotel for only four hours awaiting an early flight out of STL. I mistakenly thought this was a good option. Sadly, was I wrong...! The place is extremely filthy, and has to be one of the scariest places after midnight, I have EVER seen...! People were talking, running and screaming in the hallways most of the night. I have no idea what the business was they were undertaking but, I doubt that it was legal in most of the United States. Needless to say my now very tired/exhausted wife and myself were relieved to depart at 0400. Both of us too afraid to even attempt to fall asleep. Like many of the other reviewers have stated. I usually try and find at least one silver lining in everyone of my reviews. We were just happy we were in a place for our early departure. Unless, this is your ONLY STL option. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere..!
