« Older dated hotel, not best location »

Hotel offers free Wi Fi and breakfast included, with airport shuttle. The rooms are smaller and dated in decor and looks, need some TLC. Not the best location in town on Albert St. need a vehicle to get around. The hotel has good restaurant and bar attached which met our needs. Front desk service was good.

    « Veronica Theobald »

Love this hotel stayed here twice this year September and October lovely staff very helpful, stay here every year when I come to Canada, my grandsons love the pool area and I can sit poolside having a coffee and relax

    « Nothing Special »

I was unimpressed because I am used to Best Western having a free breakfast, which this location did not. The room smelled very strong of a perfumed spray when we arrived that was covering up another musty smell. Bathroom was not clean, carpet was not clean. I was disappointed for the first time with Best Western since becoming a loyalty member. Was not offered an upgrade which is normal with my membership status. Won't be very loyal next time I stay in Regina.

    « A Beautiful Leisure Trip »

I reserved online at and I've stayed here before. The swimming pool area is one of the best in the country. A well maintained relaxing area. If your room is poolside the kids can be a little loud in the morning but that's to be expected I suppose. That's why I put the sleep quality at only Very Good. The king size bed was comfy, the room was very clean and the staff were very kind and courteous. Overall I highly recommend the Best Western Seven Oaks Inn!

    « Good Enough »

The location was excellent for my needs. When asked for a credit card for incidentals they actually ran it through and put a hold on $100. That had to be reversed at checkout and it was. Very clean! The heater was a little noisy. No one advised me that there was a free breakfast. That was unfortunate

« Excellent Family Get Away »

Our family spent two nights in this hotel on a recent trip to Regina. The room was very spacious and very well equip, with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig, etc. We stayed in the far corner on the 3rd floor and never had any issues with noise, despite the hotel being full of other families. The pool area was wonderful. We spent pretty much the entire time poolside. A few things that I would like to see fixed/changed are: 1. The floor around the pool is EXTREMELY slippery and a very real health and safety hazard. Over the course of the two days we stayed at the hotel, I witnessed several slips and falls on the floor surrounding the pool, including one from a member in our group, who ended up with bruising due to the fall. There's also limited space between the deep end of the pool and the stairs to the water slide, and with the slickness of the floor, it's entirely possible that someone could slip and fall right into the deep end of the pool. There are no lifeguards on duty, so that could be a potentially dangerous or tragic situation. Please consider applying a texture coat to the floor surrounding the pool and employing a certified life guard in this area. 2. Hotel food is the only food permitted in the pool area. I get why this rule may be in place, due to licensing issues, but it was rather inconvenient to try and get the kids to leave the pool area, dry off, go to the room to eat and then go back. Given that we were on the third floor and in the far corner of the hotel, that was quite a trek. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would be glad to stay again.

    « Completely Satisfactory »

Room was very clean and had a fridge and microwave so we had breakfast in the room. A little dated decor but can't fault it. If you had kids with you the pool would be great but not so much for adults. Staff were friendly but we didn't have a lot of exchanges. Nothing fancy but no complaints.

« Well located and great experience »

I was in Regina overnight for a football game. This hotel is very close to the stadium as well as shops and restaurants. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels of the same quality. The room was very quiet, clean, well appointed with fridge and miro-wave (which I didn't need to use).. Even though the hotel is right on one of the busiest streets, the room was very quiet. The queen size bed was very comfy and I had lots of towels in the bathroom.. I had a breakfast in the restaurant, service was good and food was tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

« Great Stay at Seven Oaks »

Have not stayed here in awhile, Rooms appear to have been recently renovated and are well appointed. Modern décor and comfy beds. The hotel is well located for dining out, access to highways heading north, and downtown. Has a pool, and restaurant on site. Good place to stay for a family trip or business.

    « BW Seven Oaks »

The Best Western Seven Oaks Inn in Regina is a Good place to stay, located at the northern end of town. It features a central indoor pool with a water slide and hot tub. There is also a restaurant/lounge.

« Hotel brought down by restaurant and bar »

We were at the Seven Oaks Inn for the Labour Day Classic -- a mix of Bomber and Rider fans. The hotel itself was quite nice. The restaurant and bar not so much. Sunday breakfast at the Ricky's was disappointing. Our waitress could rarely be found and when the food arrived the plates were piping hot and the food was lukewarm and the food requests weren't followed at all. We were given 50% off our meal by the manager, but it was our poor waitress who had to come and tell us. On the Sunday night two of us went into the almost empty bar and we saw quite soon why it was so empty. The woman working as a bartender was about as friendly as a startled rattlesnake. She was excessively grumpy from the moment we arrived with lots of eye rolling and rudeness. Ugh. The hotel itself though...actually pretty decent.

« Good Hotel but noisy »

Took family for a few days. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly enough. Pool area is huge and kept fairly tidy. Hotel does not have control over guest and chooses to ignore rather than quiet loud people down (kids screaming, running in halls, etc at all hours of night). Owner was very rude to staff and seems to have a hate on for clients staying at hotel.

    « Pleasant »

Check in was very quick and friendly. The room was excellent. There is a restaurant in the hotel. I did not use it as I had another previous engagement. There is a nice workout room. Overall my 1 night I stayed was pleasant and quiet. I was told by some locals that the area isn't the best but I had no issues on this occasion.

    « Good location »

This hotel is in a good location which is easy to find. We all like its swimming pool and hot tub. There are many shops and restaurants in its neighborhood. The staffs are very helpful and nice. Its security measurements are so great that we have a peace of mind.

    « No A/C »

We checked into this hotel and they gave us a room on the third floor. Entering the room, I noticed that it was very warm, but the thermostat was set at 68 degrees. The air from the fan was not cool. So I went down to the front desk and they wanted to send a repairman. I asked for a different room, rather than sit in a hot room waiting to find out it would not be fixed. They gave me another room on the same floor. After not being able to unlock the door, a hotel employee that was passing by tried with no luck then opened it with is key. I went in to find it was a slight bit cooler but not still on the warm side, perhaps 80 degrees. After having to go down again for a key fix, we didn't want to complain about the second room, so we just moved our stuff in. It was the worst night's sleep of this 6 week trip...way too hot to sleep in that small room with 2 people and a dog. Clearly the compressor for these rooms was not working. And interestingly, the thermostat did not have the option to switch from heat to cool, something I have never seen on a system that does both. So, perhaps the rooms don't HAVE A/C at all. Will not stay here ever again.

« Bit pricey for what you get »

We recently travelled halfway across Canada and decided to stay in Best Westerns at each stop. This one was by far the most expensive for no real added bonus. It was easily 30 dollars a night more expensive than the other BW hotels (which were BW Plus hotels!). If you have kids though, this might be fine for you since the access to the pool can be had right off your room and you can see the children from your room or sitting on the patio.

« Good for a stopover - pool with waterslide »

We stayed here on an overnight trip to Winnipeg from Calgary. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Bathroom was on the small side but for one night it was fine. I would find the small sink tiresome for a longer visit. A microwave and fridge (no freezer) would allow some self sufficiency. Food was easy to order at Rickys and you can eat poolside. We brought our dog and had no issues. The hotel borders the railway tracks. On checkin I asked for a quiet room and we did not hear anything. I used the treadmill in the fitness area and it was well maintained and the small fitness area was well equipped and clean. The pool has a good waterslide, and a tiny swimming area. The pool area deck was pretty slippery so I would be very cautious with smaller children (mine are 8 and 10). The stairs/slide showed signs of age but it was clean and safe. Waterslide was a perfect way to decompress after a long day of driving. We had no energy to go out anywhere else. I would stay here again!

    « Great Stay - Clean Room, Clean/Soft Bed. »

Great Staff. Very nice clean bed with clean linen (checked visually and using my blacklight-flashlight). Hottub very clean. Food at Ricky's Restaurant - close to sub-par. Serving staff - were sub-par.

« Enjoyed our stay. Will be back. »

Very comfortable hotel with pool and fitness center. Staff pleasant and helpful. Hotel is clean and in a convenient location. Restaurant downstairs has a varied menu, and the food is good. Have stayed here for a number of years, and always enjoy ourselves.

« Waterslide and poolside visit »

It was fun to stay in this hotel. I was able to invite my 3 grandsons living in Regina to come and swim in the hotel pool. They enjoyed themselves and I was able to visit with my son at poolside as they used the pool and waterslide.

« We had a pool party at the water slide pool »

We were there this weekend for a pool party. The hotel is very nice, nice big rooms with a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. I found the room to be clean with great furniture, good Restaurant with good food. The pool area is very nice with a big water slide, poolside rooms with lots of tables and chairs. We were able to order from the restaurant to the pool area food and drinks! One big problem that I saw with the pool area was the floors. The floors are always wet and are very slippery. I witness at least 6 children slip and fall (2 on their head ) and one elderly man. I slipped myself but didn't fall, thank God. Other than slippery floors we had a very nice stay. Bruce B.

« We will return again and again »

My husband had work commitments so the kids (ages 8 and 10), dog and myself went along too:) The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Walking distance to Canadian Tire, Toys R Us, Red Lobster and mall! The restaurant food was amazing! The pool area although not new and shiny, is well taken care of and the water is so warm and clean! We were able to order from the restaurant to the pool area food and drinks!

    « It was lovely »

I work for a school bus company and we had to come out this way to pick up 10 buses to take back to Edmonton, Alberta. The front desk staff were friendly, quick and helpful. The room was basic but large with a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. I found the room to be clean with great furniture. I also enjoy the shared room door between the 2 rooms as I had coworkers/good friends right next door. As I look at the Window I could see the large pool area and the sun through the Window on the other side of the pool area. I would stay here again if I come back to Regina for business or pleasure. Highly recommend.

« Best Western Seven Oaks Regina, SK »

My two granddaughters and I have found the perfect hotel for our annual birthday outing! They love the pool (I did, too) and the room was very nice. I sat and watched a lot of the time they were swimming and was VERY impressed with the young man who was the pool person. He was busy the whole time; squigee-ing up water, keeping the towels stocked and doing whatever he had to. Never just sat and did nothing. Very good work ethic for a young person nowadays!! The rest of the staff were wonderful, too. No reproach when I locked myself out of our room and later when I forgot my pillow and had to go back for it. We are already looking forward to next year and I'm trying to talk my husband into going there for our anniversary! Thanks BW!!

    « Very pleased »

A great stay! The rooms were clean, beds were super comfortable , and the pool was enjoyed by all. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Service and food at the restaurant (Ricky's ) was excellent. Our waitress went the extra mile to get my son waffles for supper:) would definitely stay again

« Best Western Seven Oaks Regina, Saskatchewan »

Great place with great people. From the front desk to the Corner Pub. Can't think of a better hotel to stay in when in Regina. I have stayed at almost all of the hotels in Regina and I keep coming back to the Best Western Seven Oaks. Rooms are clean, food is good and there is lots of parking. Off Sale is available attached to the hotel for those that need it. The pool and water slide are great for the kids with great seating for parents to watch over them. My kids loved this place when they were younger.

« They helped to make my wedding amazing! »

I just want to start by mentioning how much I appreciated all of the hard working staff who are employed here! You rock and you helped to make my wedding day amazing! :) Booking a group reservation for my guests with the front desk was easy. We were given a great rate and amazing service. I stayed Friday and Saturday night. The bed was so comfy! I swear, if I could have strapped that thing to the roof of my car as I left.... The room was super clean and cozy and housekeeping was so quick and efficient Saturday morning about getting the room cleaned before we were to take pictures in the room. We had rented a banquet room for our reception and the banquet staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help make the evening work the way I had envisioned. The buffet during the event was so delicious. There was so much food I had to try not to pop out of my dress! :P The power went out at one point, (I guess someone at the Rider game had shot a confetti canon at a power line?) but for whatever reason parts of the hotel were still lit which really worked out for us. The DJ still had power and there were candles lit about the room so the evening became very intimate. All my guests were actually happy with the way that worked out. My new husband and I got to have breakfast in bed from Ricky's on Sunday morning. It was REALLY good. The perfect way to complement our stay and set our honeymoon excursion on a high note! Thank you everyone at the Best Western Seven Oaks!

    « Good times »

This hotel allows animals. We have a small dog that was accepted and actually greeted. We loved it. People were friendly and full of advice when asked. There was always someone at the desk willing to say hello and did you enjoy your day out. Smiles all around. Lobby was pleasant to come into since this is a family hotel. Parking was convenient and there was an area set up outside the hotel to take our dog for a little walk and a place for her to do her duty. Two hundred words Is a lot to ask when one has just answered all your questions on the survey.

« Great Hotel for kids and guests who enjoy waterslide »

We stayed here for sport tournament. Our group found the hotel great for our needs. The pool area was perfect for group dinners and lounging after busy day. Kids loved the water slides. Only preference to make this hotel the ultimate group/family hotel would be to offer complimentary breakfast to compete with most hotels in the area.

    « great stay »

i always enjoy the stay with best western seven oaks regina saskatchewan. i always have my room waiting for me, as i require early check in due the the fact that i travel over 5 hours to get to medical appointments.

« Great location with Great Staff »

This location went above and beyond to make an extremely busy weekend relaxful and worry free for myself and family. My 7yr old grandson loved the waterslide and gave us a chance to relax while he worked off some energy after a long drive

    « Terrible experience »

My family and I stayed at the Best Western/7 Oaks in December 2015. We had a poolside room, which, upon initial inspection, seemed clean and well kept. My daughter and husband were both sleeping when I began to hear a squeaking. At first, I thought it maybe the heat/air unit and tried to sleep. I then heard the squeaking again and this time, it sounded like it was coming from a different area in the room. I wa totally freaked out. I turned on the lamp and listened for the sound, which, by then, I realized was coming from the headboard/head of my bed! I woke my husband to listen, and once he heard it, he pulled the mattress away from the wall, just in time to see a large mouse/rodent enter a huge hole in the wall, just below our bed! We immediately began packing up and called the front desk to complain, and at this time it was around 130am. We actually seen the rodent/mouse again, as it came back out of the hole and was sniffing the air. There was no apology, other than a brief, muttered, "sorry" from some night staff member, who didn't seen too concerned about the issue at hand! The offered us a $30 discount for the nights stay! What a joke! Disgusted and not impressed! I will never stay there again, or recommend this place to anyone!

    « Not Pleased »

The room was OK. The Pool and Slide, Stairs and Railings (on waterslide) are in very bad shape. Paint cant fix and doesn't repair anything. They have tried to cover up everything that is rusting ect with paint. On top of the duct work in the pool area is full of garbage i mean full of it. The guys on strike are so bold walking back and forth across the parking lot entrance you would think you will run over them if your not careful. Country is in a recession i am sure there are many people that would be happy with their jobs. Dirty Hall ways on second floor. Dirty band aide on the floor the whole weekend wasn't picked up...Now here is the one positive thought .... Not sure if i would stay there again but the kids do see past this kind of stuff and you can get pool side rooms.

    « Absolutely Horrid »

I can't believe how bad this stay was. I've been using Best Western for years to do all my business travel, I will NEVER make the mistake at staying at the Seven Oaks Best Western again. My unfortunate stay started with talking to a manager after getting my room and finding a cockroach in the bathroom. The overly sweaty manager Glenn told me that the cockroach was no issue, "It's only one". The AC/HEATER in my room was broken and they wouldn't switch me to another room. Then I saw how Glenn handled some striking workers outside. When leaving to go to dinner I watch Glenn harass strikers out front. He repeatedly shoved a woman. As a woman very unsettling, is this how Best Westerb handles strikers? If so I'd rather use Motel 6, it's cheaper anyways.

    « Dance Mom's Den »

The Seven Oaks has become a haven of hairspray and glitter for our dance families as the hotel is located within walking distance of the dance competition. The fact that you can retreat to the quiet comfort of your own room or join your friends around the pool is a very attractive feature. The on sight restaurant is a plus as you can enjoy a early morning breakfast or a late night lunch depending on your schedule. The pool is always a hit with the kids and hot tub is pretty inviting after a long day of costume/hair/makeup changes. Super friendly staff at the Front desk! We look forward to next year!

« Best Western Seven Oaks Inn »

Excellent staff at check in and during stay. Very helpful Had long day driving and was pleased to enjoy a nice room and staff I called ahead and my room was held for me. The cleanness of the bathroom and bed was excellent making my stay very relaxing. The rate was good also

    « Very pleasant room »

Very pleasant room. Clean very happy with the stay. Deep tub and heat lamp in the bathroom was a nice addition. Nice and quite. Not a lot more to say it was everything expected. Lots of parking and very cheerful at front counter. Would stay again for sure.

    « Nice stay »

We had a great stay at this hotel! Nice pool area with a waterslide. Easter weekend it was pretty busy so it was hard to get time in the pool but once we did it was quite nice. I thought we would walk into the room and there just be a bed, like a normal room, but it has a couch in it too. Which I thought was great! Hotel shuttle is so great and convenient too! And Rickies in the hotel for breaky is awesome! Front Desk staff was very friendly as well. The younger boy and the two girls working on Monday 28th Morning were great to deal with! Only negative was it seems like the doors are super thin as we should hear everything on the outside. But never heard anyone above or beside us! Also our a/c / heater woke us up a couple times making a very odd load noise.. But front desk was told and I'm sure that's fixed now. Room 117. At one point to our power was turned off for about 5 minutes which was odd.

    « enjoyable stay »

This hotel is clean.Service is great. Price is right. Good location. Offers a place to leave your vehicle while on holidays. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area relaxing. Pool and waterslide great for the children. Will stay here again.

    « Amazing place »

First of all I would like to give props the owner for hiring a gay man as a director of sales! Our room was enormous and amazing!!!! The restaurant is the best thing Regina has to offer. There was a strike outside but they didn't bother us.

  • 5
    « Love this place »

Every time I come to this place, I feel very welcomed, the director of sales always happy to see me, and asks if everything is at my taste, the front desk ladies are friendly and helpful It's been a while since the strike is still on, but that doesn't seem to affect their business, the rooms are descent and clean, the restaurant food is great, from breakfast to dinner, the internet connection is amazing, I was told that his hotel uses the fiber connexion, and this makes a big difference for me, especially since I work in IT

    « Great place »

My wife and I had to go to a cousin's wedding in Regina, who had previously booked a block of rooms for us. When I first heard that we were staying at this hotel, I was hesitatant as I heard there was a strike, but once we got there everything was just flawless, the service, the amenities, the restaurant on site, Rick's restaurant. We traveled with 3 children under the age of 11 and the staff were very accommodating even making a special trip to the room with 2 cots for the kids without us even asking! The kids enjoyed the water slide.

    « Amazing for families »

We tried this hotel couple of times before, this time we decided to bring the kids so that they can enjoy the water slide, despite the strike, everything went smooth. The kids had fun, the pool area was big, we ordered pizza from the restaurant and had it served there, the kids had a blast and so did we. The rooms are nice, the service was nice, and we couldn't ask for more The front desk were nice and helpful.we will be back and we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family

« Perfect Team Stay, Pool is beyond great »

Great place to stay with a team or group! Pool area has lots of tables, what a great night of visiting able to keep an idea on swimmers. Rooms are great, lots of parking, Ricky's is a great restaurant attached.

    « Perfect stay »

This property has become our primary place to stay, unless they have no more rooms for us. We enjoy the pool area, the waterslide is a lot of fun, I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. There was a picket line line outside, it did not affect our stay in any way. We loved it

    « Security Needs Improvement »

During a two night stay people in our group were repeatedly asked for money by men in the entranceway and beside the vending machines, one offered to follow lady back to her room so she could get a $20 out of her purse, there was a loud party after 1 am, and generally the hallways felt unsafe. To be fair and positive, the staff we dealt with were all very good and the restaurant accommodated a large group efficiently.

« The strike is the least of their problems »

Over $160 dollars per night?! Are you kidding me?! Our room was super small and cramped (look at the pictures) and it had this horrible moldy smell. Then there's the train. Great idea to build a hotel next to the train tracks!! You can be sure the train will wake you up. The pool seems to be unattended, but that could be because of the strike going on. BTW, no one told us anything about the strike, so to go in and out of the hotel you will have to go through the strikers, and they keep honking those damn horns all day long. In the end they even had the gall to ask for a positive review, so here is my review.

    « Enjoy our stay »

Friendly staff, clean rooms, convenient, reasonably priced, provides parking for a reasonable rate for those travelling, provides transportation to and from airport has waterslide, pool and hot tub restaurant on site, booking and checking out easy.

    « Good hotel »

It's always nice to stay at this hotel, the staff are always there for you, whenever we needed something, we asked the front desk for help and we got it. There was a picket line, not sure if they are allowed to curse at employees and calling them names in front of my son, I am part of a union and the way the picketers (UFCW) were behaving is definitely the wrong way, I am very disgusted and disappointed, they set up a bad example on behalf of all of us...I will have to contact them and hopefully talk some sense to them We will be back to this hotel, my son loves the pool area, and after a day of pool activities what better place to eat at than the onsite Ricky's restaurant

    « Weird smell »

I stayed at this hotel on Jan 28th and the first thing that I noticed was a strange smell in the room. I thought it might go away, however it didn't. This smell was present the last time I stayed at this hotel about 3 months ago. I have business in Regina every 3 months and will not be staying at this hotel, because of this smell. However on a positive note, the bed and room was clean. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on me, there won't be a third time.

    « Never again »

Back in Regina last night and had to stay here as my other hotel was fully booked. The worst Best Western I've ever stayed at. IN ADDITION TO THE STRIKE OUT FRONT! service of the few staff left to work inside was almost non-existent. I cannot recommend this hotel.

« Strike put a damper on things »

My wife and I have stayed at many hotels in our lifetime, and in all of our years we had never seen a strike going on outside our hotel room. Until we stayed here. Checking in was fine and our room was clean and spacious, so no complaints on those fronts. But the strike/picket line really put a damper on things. We had some difficulty getting in and out of the parking lot, and the atmosphere inside the hotel seemed very tense. Had we known there was a labour dispute going on, we wouldn't have stayed here. I'd recommend going somewhere else.

« Sounds like they mistreat their staff »

Stayed here on a business trip earlier this month and unfortunately they are going through a labour dispute. I work in the financial sector and don't consider myself to be a "union guy," but out of curiosity I decided to chat with some of the striking workers. They said the hotel wants to cut their benefits in half, and won't negotiate with them unless they accept the cut. Sounds like this place mistreats their staff. The hotel itself is fine; my room was comfortable but I noticed that there weren't too many employees working and my room service took a while to arrive. The restaurant also seemed understaffed as I had to wait 10+ minutes for a drink. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I knew there wasn't a strike. Not a memorable experience.

« The employees deserve better! »

Visited some family in Regina shortly after Christmas and was looking for a spot for my wife and children because my family's place was too small. The closest hotel was the Best Western Seven Oaks, which I heard great things about -- especially the Ricky's restaurant. Unfortunately the workers were on strike. After going to the picket line to talk to the workers to let me in, I learned that the owner of the hotel refused to sit down and treat the employees fairly. This establishment is not worth crossing the picket line for in its current state. I will not be going here until the strike is over!

« Good hotel except for the strike »

The hotel itself is fine - room was small but clean. Pool and water slide are dated but well kept up. We unknowingly booked out stay during a strike and I've never seen such belligerent people in my life. They didn't want to let our car through to get in the lot and harassed people with a bullhorn every time they saw anyone come in or out of the hotel. The staff inside were wonderful and very apologetic of the situation. We used the free hotel shuttle service as well and it was terrific. Very handy service. Will go back again.

    « Holiday stop over »

This is the third time in the past year that we have stayed here. As before it was a pleasurable experience with a good staff and hotel ammenities. No doubt we will stay there agian on our next visit to Regina.

« Good stay, needs some updating! »

What we liked: we had a poolside room which was awesome! Nice to just walk out to the pool & waterslide. Ricky's grill the food was really good and they will bring the food poolside for you to eat which is really nice. Room was quiet. Hot tub nice and hot. Waterslide was fun for the kids! What we didn't like: The pool area needs updating! Very slippery! We saw numerous people wipe out on the wet concrete by the pool even my son fell and hurt his elbow. The waterslide was nice and big and fun, but it looks rather old. The bathroom in the hotel is very small. Not good when you have little ones!

    « "Unpleasant Stay" »

Our initial booking was to stay Dec. 26 -27, 2015. Due to unfinished business we requested an extension on Dec. 27 to stay over on Monday as well. First thing on Mon. morning, Dec. 28, we realized there was picket line set up at the entrances to the hotel and that the workers were on strike. Had I been informed on Sun. afternoon that the strike was in the works, I would have checked out Sun. evening and found a room elsewhere. It was very unpleasant for our family to go out and come back in - having to cross the picket lines each time.

« My home away from home »

My home away from home, i enjoy my stay always, friendly staff, good restaurant, great owner, clean rooms, easy access, quit and great pool area... staff always very helpful nice bar and off sale area

    « Needs cleaning »

This hotel was awful for cleanliness:( elevators to the floors and carpets were beyond disgusting.. Thermostats don't work one room was boiling one was freezing... Rooms need work as well as the pool was far to busy as we got asked to leave because it was to busy even though we were paying patrons:( very sad experience and the people that they let in is scary and the area is not the best. Stay in the new areas this isn't a recommend

    « great amenities/room »

We stay here whenever we are in Regina. Everything is great. We've tried others but we always come back. Beds are comfortable; the pool is outstanding and the staff make you feel so welcome. We highly recommend this hotel.

« Simple quick night stay »

Simple, basic hotel which is very accessible to all locations in Regina. I did not use any of the amenities offered as it was a quick business trip. Basic Hotel rooms, but comfortable bed. Would stay again

    « Helpful Staff »

I needed a room last minute for myself, my brother and sister due to a family medical issue. The front desk staff was very helpful, accommodating us last minute on a very busy weekend. I have stayed here in the past and always have a good stay. The hotel is central to many locations. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the pool area, the families below looked like they were enjoying the waterslide. Even though the room overlooked the pool, the noise was minimal and after 10pm all was quiet. No charge for parking which was nice, and ample room in the parking lot. Thank you Best Western for making a stressful trip less stressful.

« In need of renos »

We recently stayed here for 8 nights, which we do every year for Agribition. We are given the same room every year, which is nice. Makes it feel more like home for us. The rooms are clean & the beds are comfortable. The temperature control is easy to adjust. The staff is very good & always friendly. The hotel itself, however, really needs some renos as it is very dated. Carpets need replacing in our section as well as the furniture. The sofa bed in our room still has the same squeak of springs in it as it did the first time we stayed there 5 years ago. It would also be better if there was a free breakfast included, as the cost of breakfast really adds to the cost of staying here.

    « Regina Bound »

All in all there were ....Nice rooms, Great Bed, fitness center is OK. Coffee Machine in room was a nice addition to the stay (kuerig) The Pool and hot tub were a nice treat....and the water-slide was fun.....even for youthful 55er.....Yee-haw! Having a Ricky's Restaurant in the Hotel lobby was also good....decent food. All in all, a pleasant experience....... Thanks for asking!

    « Enjoyed it »

Had a family member visiting me in Regina, our home was packed and so I paid the room at the Best Western Seven Oaks, kids loved the water slide, got them busy all day long, and I get to sit with my sister and talk and catch up. This hotel has the fastest internet ever, faster than the one I have at home. The only hick up is that my sister forgot to mention that she is a CAA member, we could have got a 10% discount...Next time

« Stay while passing through Regina with the family »

Stayed at the BW Seven Oaks on Albert Street while passing through Regina on a family mini-trip. Location is ok but we largely chose this hotel because it was the only pet-friendly hotel in Regina that had a water slide. Kid's loved the pool and slide and having a pool-side room, although less quiet, was certainly handy. The rooms themselves are in need of a bit of an overhaul but for the most part, everything was acceptable. Some rowdy guests in our hall were promptly ejected after some noisy behavior, which was appreciated, but the hotel security staff were very loud and somewhat unprofessional in accomplishing this task. When all was said and done, the rest of the evening was very quiet.

    « Average at best »

Hotel is in need of a renovation, common area are worn, bed was comfortable though. No real climate control in the room (heat only) and it had a stale odour. Service was good enough though. I typically stay at the holiday inn express and it is much better value for the money

« My home away from home »

Great experience, I enjoy all the Best Westerns from Alberta to Saskatchewan. I have tried other Hotels in the pass, I have been using this Hotel chain for over 5 years now. I have always found the from desk pleasant, processional and friendly. The house keeping is there to help with needs after arriving.

    « Just Okay »

Our room was clean until our last day. We stayed Friday - Monday. The room was clean, comfortable but the walls are rather thin. I could hear the people next door in the morning and I could smell their coffee through the adjoining door that I did not request. Upon returning Sunday evening it was apparent that all that was done in our room was the bed was made and garbage taken out. Nothing was cleaned and yes the recycling was left. The coffee was not replenished. I called down to the front desk and they sent a housekeeper up to deliver me coffee. I must say I was disappointed. Also worthy of mentioning was that I wasn't aware they were a pet friendly hotel. I have pets but do not travel with them. I do draw the line at being barked at when trying to return to my room. A bit disappointed. The restaurant was lousy. My eggs were cold and when I asked for them to be warmed up (via microwave) the only thing that came back decent was the hashbrowns. I have stayed at worse but stayed at better. The room was unbearably hot most of the time and the fan was loud. I think next time I will be trying another establishment.

    « Best Western comfort »

Best Western is very consistent in delivering a clean, organized climate for your stay. If you have questions or concerns, they will get on it right away. All staff are educated in their product and can answer any questions.

    « Great stay »

Very nice location, and you can count on the staff, they are always happy to see me and help me. Enjoyed the pool with my kid, he loves it there. Clean rooms and very comfortable, housekeeping were very friendly and helpful The food at the restaurant is very good, and they have plenty of TVs, I wanted to watch the Blue Jays game

    « Rest a bit »

Just spent the night with the grand kids and enjoyed the pool with the water slide. Nice clean poolside room made our stay great. Great on site restaurant which has a wonderful breakfast menu. Lots of parking with shopping all around the complex.

    « One Night Stop »

Chose this hotel for a short business meeting. Restaurant and Lounge located right in the hotel which made it convenient. Lots of parking and new treadmill in the fitness center since my last visit. All in all an average hotel with comfortable beds and good internet speed from the hotel provided service.

    « Pet Friendly »

We were impressed at the quality of room we had considering we had two dogs with us. Other hotels put us in the bargain basement rooms! It was a great stay with a comfortable bed! The Seven Oaks is a central location in Regina making getting around the city easy.

    « Work »

I stayed at the hotel with my brother off and on while he was for a month working in Regina the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The restaurant was convenient and the location was great to get around Regina. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was quiet the breakfasts were good .

    « Good stay »

We stayed here one night after a hockey game. It was a quick check in, the card worked ,room was neat with ample space . We stopped at the lounge after the game and the waitress was informative about our available choices and then surprisingly quick to serve us. She checked back to see if we were done in the right time frame. Very good.

« A Great Stay in the Queen City »

I stayed at this hotel while in Regina for an appointment. I had stayed here before and this time did not disappoint. Everything was great and relaxing. The pool and hot tub were a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Parking and WiFi with good strength and coverage were free. Room service was okay with good portion sizes and prices. Overall, a great stay. I would recommend this hotel for both business travelers and families.

« Clean rooms and friendly staff »

The room was very clean, the restaurant was top-notch, the staff was friendly and helpful. We stay at this hotel every year with a group of students from Germany because we have always been treated with respect and kindness. The swimming pool is always a highlight.

« Went down for a family reunion and based out of this hotel »

The restaurant was great - service and food. The water park was a bit weathered but was clean and the kids loved it. Rooms were a bit small but clean and the cleaning staff were never ever in your face but whipped in like ninjas - only saw them in the hallway never heading for my room when I was there. Bathrooms were too small though.

    « Perfect for Families »

Stayed here with three other families for a weekend away. We stayed poolside which was fantastic for the kids (wet floors as there was not much drip time between the pool and room). The staff were relaxed about outside food and bevvies which suited our style. The room by the pool is a bit noisy if you need to be asleep before 10 or have little ones. Good location for almost anything in Regina. Rooms were comfortable with microwave & fridge. Recently upgraded flooring & decor.
