Stayed here two nights. Room average size, but dear o dear, how can you get so much brown into a room.? No colour anywhere, even the pictures on the wall were brown. Soulless, impersonal, forgettable, functional place. Photos suggest a welcoming lobby, but the fire wasn't on, even though temperatures warranted it. Efficient, but that's it

Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Entire hotel recently renovated. Nice colours / decor. Bright energy efficient bulbs everywhere. The fitness center was one of the best I've seen yet. The hotel restaurant has also been renovated. The food & service was very good at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Highest price in town, no breakfast included, buffet breakfast from restaurant was cold and after receiving a coupon for going green (no maid service) they didnt qant to honor the coupon, flushed the toilet and it sounded like it bubbled in the tub , no baseboards on walls, need I say more.

A nice, clean & friendly hotel. Speedy check-in & check-out. Comfortable bed & pillows with a spotlessly clean bathroom. Faster service in the restaurant would have been appreciated. Just a short drive from the Hot Springs.

The hotel is fine. But the new restaurant is terrible. New Mexican menu excited me until I ate it. Worse than Taco Bell. Breakfast is ok but slow service. Better restaurants nearby. Don't waste your money here.

No free breakfast, just 15% off from the restaurant, laughably horrible deal for a 200/night hotel. Old TVs. Slow internet. Hot tub not open late. Still nice looking in and out anyways. Nice floors, decent sized rooms. My dad payed for it and I'm still ticked about this horrible hotel. At least it still works for sleeping. #1st world problems.

Our first trip to this side of Canada. Loved seeing the big horn sheeps! The hotel was undergoing renovations and there were "wet paint" signs everywhere. The smell was too much. Otherwise, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough. Lots of places to eat; we especially enjoyed the little cafe that seemed to be popular with the locals. Service was slow but the food was good. If we're ever back here, we'll definitely stay here again. Hopefully, renovations will have been done by then. One other thing, I shouldn't have to call three days after we checked out to get a copy of the invoice.

This hotel is located in a lovely spot in Radium Hot Springs, just across the street from the Rotary Park, which overlooks a valley near the mountains. We enjoyed sitting in the park and also walking the nearby hiking trail down into the valley. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Stayed here on our tour of the Rockies. Did a side trip from Jasper and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this town. The hotel is central as you enter the village, and although in the middle of renovations, the service and amenities were exceptional. Literally 5 minutes from the hot springs, an incredible view of the mountains surrounding the Columbia valley, and they allow patrons to bring hotel towels to the springs as well. Great area to spot bighorn sheep right in town. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the region!

Seemed like the newest hotel in Radium village. They were doing renovations during our stay. The rooms were complete and they were working on the hallways and entrance area. The staff were nice and friendly. The fitness centre was adequate. the hotel itself was located centrally and close to the Hot springs themselves. The restaurant was pricey for the ordinary food we received. The service was slow and unremarkable. The sinks in the bathrooms were the on top of counter type and very awkward if you wanted to wash or do any kind of grooming.

Upon the arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff, Leslie (I think that was her name) to check in. She handled very well once I said I am Deaf and communication was efficient. The room and the bathroom were clean and perfect, given it was recently renovated. I really like the "hi-tech" switch in the place of the door hangers for "Do Not Disturb" and "Maid Service"! Just one minor annoyance for tall people like me, the shower is a bit too low for my liking and I barely can "fit" under the shower. The hotel was under renovations, but it was near complete when we visited. It was some a bit messy here and there, but it was not bothersome. However, the elevator was a tad too slow, but it was not a big deal anyway! The location was great - close to the highways 93 & 95, and a short walk to several restaurants down the street. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would still book at this hotel again if we ever return to Radium Hot Springs in the future.

As ever the staff at the front desk and at the attached cafe were kind and very helpful on our arrival and at breakfast. Breakfast is not included. Renovations on going inside and out but no problem for people staying at this hotel. Hotel is close to the hot springs and easy to find along the highway.

We had a wonderful stay. I believe all the rooms have been renovated and ours was lovely. Spacious, clean, plenty of storage, outlets, lights and charging outlets, and luggage racks, The staff was friendly and helpful. Yes, there was spakel and paining going on on our floor but it did not concern me.The lobby and front exterior were being worked on but again, not a bother. Bonus: we had a wonderful mountain view.

Overpriced for a Best Western. The hotel was torn up from one end to the other with renovations in all areas. I understand it needed doing, but dont charge $200 per night when theres either plastic or dust covering half the hotel. And when you bring it up with staff.....(crickets!)...wont be back.

Currently undergoing renovations but this did not detract from our stay. The room was light and bright and had a good view. The hotel is well situated for the town,making it an easy walk to restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful

We had a comfy good here for 1 night in June. Our room was large and the bed comfy. We ate in the restaurant and the Yorkshire chap who served us in the evening was attentive, as was the lady in the morning for our included breakfast. Its a good place to lay your head in a small town after a long day touring.

Staff on check in were indifferent and failed to acknowledge the loyalty scheme even though I'd emailed in advance. The attitude was that they were doing me a favour in booking me in, er, I'm paying the bill folks ! According to the Hotel staff this place was sold 2 weeks ago and the previous staff all left en mass ! Certainly seems to be in a terrible state, restaurant was appalling, went here at 7.10pm and two of the dishes on the menu were sold out. Waited 15 minutes for a drink, complained and told that no one will work here so there are no staff ! Hotel website says having renovations until end of June 2018, well sorry but they are still in full swing. Told on check in that they have put the finish date back to the end of July ! Guest room doors are part painted and reception and entrance are a building site. The guest rooms are superb, you cannot fault them, it's the rest that lets the place down, sorry ! I asked when I checked in for details of customer services and got nothing. Asked for the General Manager at dinner time and told specifically that 'You won't get a manager at this time of night'. Have several more examples of the poor service but don't want to seem that I am ranting because I'm not. We are supposed to be here for 7 nights so I'll update this review if I ever get to see them. A very disappointing example of the Best Western brand.

Hotel is in a good location. Renovation ongoing at the last stage, the lobby of the hotel. All rooms are renovated. Nicely done on the bathrooms facilities. Big windows for good light and ventilation. Restaurant is good for breakfast.

The two ladies on reception were very welcoming. They apologised for the building work going on in the reception area although it did not really effect us at all. The rooms had been recently renovated to a very high standard. Our room had lots of space and had two big double beds. The bathroom was lovely. This is the benchmark of how all Great Westerns should be. We really cannot fault this hotel at all. The adjoining restaurant La Cabina provided a really good breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel, it was excellent.

The resort is going through some reservations and you have to look past that, but the rooms are very nicely equipped. New restaurant attached was a very nice place to have breakfast. Lots of parking on the south side, traffic on the north side to the lumber mill maybe a problem, but we didn't have any issue with heavy truck traffic.

Hotel was under renovations, rooms had all been upgraded and they were working on the lobby. We had a great stay and the beds were comfortable. There were three adults in one room and there was lots of room. Service was great.

The hotel is under a renovation and the front check in is a bit in disarray. The Reno's to the room are nice with new tile and carpet. The rooms are noisy and could use more insulation. Hallway noise is easily heard. Bring earplugs! For the price continental breakfast should be included. The pool is very very cold.

We were one of the very few people able to park anywhere near the front door at this hotel (otherwise it's quite a hike from the main parking, down the lane), and so our checkin went okay despite the current construction mess in the lobby. We had been looking forward to using the pool, but were unable to do so due to the extremely high humidity in the pool area (a bit like a sauna). This is one of the very few Best Westerns that does not include a free breakfast. We did however appreciate the spacious room with a nice view, the upscale amenities, good selection of TV channels, and the adult-height vanity (would not be child friendly). Staff were friendly. It's probably the nicest hotel in town. Once the renovations are done, we suspect things might be better.

Our room had been recently update. It was very spacious with new carpeting and modern bowl sink in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Only negative aspect was breakfast was not included in the price of the room. Every other Best Western PLUS that we have stayed at included breakfast. You will be given a 15% off coupon to use at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant is fairly good, but the service is very slow.

The hotel is just finalizing renovations on the rooms and the lobby. Rooms are complete, lobby will be done in the next few weeks. Fabulous property, fabulous staff. Will stay again when we return to Radium.

Stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament. Staff in this hotel and the attached restaurant were extremely rude. One yelled at my daughter who was walking beside me went to get a room key from my wife who was walking behind me; started to skip to get it. Male hotel staff who walked by and mind you faster then her skip; yelled at her to stop running in the hallway. He then went further down the hall scolded an occupant of another room, which was propped open to shut their door as their talking was too loud, he then shut their door and stormed off. The restaurant staff is rude and abrasive as well, don't eat there as you are simply wasting their time. Don't use the coupon the hotel gives you as they don't really lie you using it. The bad apple staff here need customer service training or to find a new career.

Your average prestige, no proper mini fridge and no microwaves, unless you want to pay an extra $10 a day.. other then that just your average hotel with decent rooms, beds are good, internet here is pretty slow tho

Hotel with free parking and with stylish and big, good maintained rooms. Everything in the room was nice and clean. View was quite nice. Looking over the parking lot with the mountains in the background. The hotel is renovating the lobby, so it didn't look nice at the moment, but the construction work didn't bothered us.

Room and services were very good. The staff that work in the restaurants, lounge and conference services were great! Was quite happy with room even though it wasn't quite finished.Once all renos are done this hotel will be excellent.

The best western lived up to my expectations once again. Staff was super helpful and polite, they went out of their way to accommodate us when we arrived late and hungry. The hotel was under renovations but still clean and welcoming. We missed the hot tub as it was not filled but everything else was great.

We were travelling with a small dog, so had to stay in a pet room, which was OK. The hotel is going through some upgrades, so things should be back to normal by the summer time months. Hotel is centrally located.

We had a good stay. This is a suitable hotel for families, as it has a nice swimming pool. At present time, however, the hotel is under renovation, which meant our room had no base boards, and the pool didn't seem to have anybody taking care to ensure the washroom/change-room was cleaned or towels put in, probably because the pool is going to undergo a renovation, too. Nonetheless, our room was clean and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient. The restaurant has good food, with a lovely view. So, all in all, we had a nice stay.

This hotel was just in the middle of renovations to their rooms and they are now very modern. Pool and hot tub in a large comfortable location. Hotel is run well and staff are very nice and friendly. Great restaurant on site for breakfasts, etc... Nice pub but did not use. Good exercise room and eqpt.

When we booked, we weren't told about all the renovations going on. We were surprised when entering our room to find the renos had been started in our room too. Coming in later at night after a days travel, the check in procedure was a bit "firm" and not really welcoming. The restaurant was great for breakfast the next morning. Good food and service there. The bathroom sink is one of those "tub on top types", which we thought was too high for people less than 6 feet tall!

Check in was quick and easy. There are some Reno's happening but it doesn't affect the quality of stay at all. The rooms are nice . The beds were comfy . Really can't complain. Check out the attached restaurant , the food is really good there . They do have a pool and hot tub which is a plus .

Stayed here while going skiing in local area. Hotel was under renovations, was not told when booking. My girls wanted to explore hotel but found it uncomfortable to let them out on there own when i saw middle age maintenance workers from hotel taking teen girl into hotel room. Saw them together in hotel a lot. Creepy. I would expect this at a motel on side of highway but not for what I paid here. Made me uncomfortable for whole stay

Never staying at a best western again very disappointed in the stay, expensive and the room was under construction. Staff did not mention anything about the construction, very disappointed. got a way better room down the road for way cheaper .

Love this hotel. It's our hotel of choice when in Radium for several reasons. The staff is helpful and friendly and the hotel is ideally located conveniently to major amenities and the hotel itself is well appointed with a gym, pool, restaurant, rooms w/ suites and kitchenettes. The hotel offers stunning Mountain Views and overlooks the Columbia Valley and the lobby area is large, comfortable, charming and rustic, adorned w/ historic pictures and featuring a beautiful, inviting stone fireplace. Free coffee and tea are available and lemon infused water. I would like to suggest hot chocolate and cookies in winter as some other BW hotels provide. That being said, the hotel is currently undergoing major renovations, although it just recently received a ‘face lift!' There is some room for improvements such as the pillows which are soft and lumpy (the bed itself was great!) There is no m/w in the room but there's a very temperature sensitive fridge. The air conditioner is very loud and rattles and shuts off at a certain point or ‘freezes' making the room very hot as the night wears on. Truck traffic going to the mill is very heavy and noisy on Forsters road, bordering the hotel. There is Not a free breakfast included, only 15% off already overpriced breakfasts that only amounts to a couple of bucks. Service is extremely SLOW and portions are meager and the food leaves a lot to be desired. Would recommend avoiding this restaurant if you are in a hurry or on a budget!

Long weekend stay with grandchildren. Liked that the hotel was fairly close to the ski hill where we spent a great day. The proximity to restaurants and grocery store was handy. The room was clean with nice amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is not far away from Fairmont ski resort, and it only takes few mints to a fresh market, gas stations, and restaurants. However,the swimming pool is a little bit old and the lighting is too dim. Hopefully the current renovation project will get it improved. We definitely will stay again.

We stayed here for three nights in our Canada Rockies two week road trip as we went skiing in Panorama. This hotel was the one we liked the least, the reception girl was very slow and unengaged. The restaurant in the hotel was no good for anything but pizza. The waiter was nice and smiling but ... Breakfast was not worth it so we ended up eating in our room. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. The pool area is in the basement and not very inviting as the water color was more green than what felt ok. The gym was freezing but well equipped. Tried to book an appointment with the spa and she was very friendly but no available appointments on short notice.

service is good and hotel is very clean. Breakfast is a little expensive.The entire area is very quiet. maybe in the summer is very busy. i will come again in the summer time.i will recommend this hotel to my friends

They are currently doing renovations. The renovations that we saw were for the bathrooms - new tubs and tile. The renovations ended around 5ish during our stay. We could hear noise from the tile work, but it did not bother us. The hallway and doors were pretty dirty in the area of the renovations. We stayed in a king with sofa bedroom with kitchenette. It was stocked well enough for the size of the place. There was a table to eat at. The fridge is bigger than a mini fridge, but still very small. The beds were comfortable. Pillows were a little lumpy. Temperature control worked well. The place was clean except for the stained, old carpet (it looked like it was vacuumed). The backdoor was unlocked during our stay so it's not a very secure facility. The front desk staff really need a bell... they were in the back office both times when we checked in and checked out. We waited awhile as we thought the desk was unstaffed. Our view was of steel bars and a parking lot... not exactly the feel we were hoping for. We did not use the pool. We went to the chlorinated Radium Hot Springs.

Pet friendly suite was exceptionally clean and well presented. Beds were comfy, pillows- not so much. We were not advised of renovations directly beside our room and the noise was unbearable at 9AM on Sunday. Staff did not handle this well and my partner and I left very unsatisfied with our sleep and the customer service.

We stayed here it was comfortable compared to some of the older hotels in the area. The restaurant had very slow service, we waited an hour. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We saw mountain goats run through the parking lot.

Although the hotel was under construction it was not bothersome at all, Did not hear a thing. Wish restaurant was open all day rather then closing at 2pm/open again at 5pm. Close to all amenities. Pool and hot tub were great. Wish there was a change room rather then one small private room only, but we just went down the elevator in our bathing suits..

The facility and the people were wonderful. Celiac friendly - which was VERY nice and took care of us. The only two "inconvenience" was that we couldn't pull up to the door area due to drive way construction but it was the off season. The other was the logging trucks that were on the road just outside our window - even at 2 in the morning. If we were staying longer we would have asked to move. Well appointed room. My husband was impressed. Coupons for breakfast were also a nice touch.

Nice hotel. A little renovations going on but didnt disturb our stay. Clean, temp control in rooms. Good breakfast in restaurant. Friendly waitress, gave us tips on wildlife watching. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Prestige in Radium, BC. We enjoyed their dining room which was 2 for 1 pasta night, very delicious. In the evening we took a 5 min drive to Radium Hot Springs and had a nice soak in the pool, it was dark outside and the snow was falling lightly. We had to get started early in the morning so the dining room wasn't open yet for breakfast but they did have coffee in the lobby so we were good to go.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was very clean and pretty fancy for the price The cleaning staff is very nice Seems nicer and more hospital over the front desk lady however she was very busy. I would definitely stay here again. My son was up set the time up so fast didn't even get to make use of the pool

The location of the hotel was very good. I loved the fact that there was a small kitchenette and was able to cook a nice home made breakfast before leaving the hotel. We enjoyed going into the hotel pool & Jacuzzi after a long day on the road. Was within easy walking distance to a nice pub and small grocery store.

We stayed for one night and had a very restful sleep. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Bathrooms have been renovated. Bed was very comfortable. Location is quiet and the view is terrific. We will definitely stay again!

great hotel in a small community. Clean and comfy rooms. Pool and fitness area were better than what you normally find. Great food and awesome staff in the restaurant. We were in Radium at the start of off season so only a few things to do. Staff was great a pointing out things to do.

What can I say the hotel is very nicely appointed the restaurant is excellent the staff are very very friendly and go out of their way to please and it is right off the main Highway going through radium an excellent place for someone to hang their hat after a Long Day's travel

We were on our way to Alberta and decided to take Hwy 95 to bring back a lot of memories when my sister lived in this area. We picked this hotel because it was at the right spot for a break in our travels.

Great service at the Best Western Prestige Radium. Staff very friendly, thoughtful and helpful.Room was very comfortable and had all the amenities required. Great place to stay with lots of entertainment and interesting places nearby.

Nice facility. Clean and quiet. Good location to restaurants and gas stations. Internet worked well unlike some hotels that lack signal. We did not ear at the hotel restaurant. Front desk matched the room rare from the internet with no hesitation

Great place to stay clean comfortable rooms,pet friendly. Suites and kitchenettes available , Breakfast available in dining room at extra cost. Dining room opens at 5 pm for dinner. Good menu choices.

Well situated hotel for travelling through the national parks. Staff were friendly and the room was adequate. The only complaint was that the room was situated right next to two main roads so there was a bit of traffic noise. Stunning views of the Rockies from the back of the hotel and also close to some nice eating places.

High quality hotel with no surprises. Adjoining restaurant was very good and convenient. The front desk was polite and courteous. Upon check in l mentioned l would be using a BW travel card and the front desk attendant suggested l give him the card at time of check in to speed up the check out next day as he said it takes time to process. A nice gesture on his part.

This hotel was a welcome oasis after drive through the Canadian Rockies. Situated close to the hot spring, although a short drive was necessary, it had all the facilities needed for a good rest: friendly efficient staff, a pub with great food, comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel . It is very close to Radium hotsprings which is a wonderful experience one of our favourite hotsprings . The restaurant has great service and food . The beds are super comfy . THe pool area is very nice .

Our visit was over the classic car weekend, by chance. We were UK travellers passing through. It was a very busy weekend for the hotel and found the housekeeping staff to be the friendliest of them all. The room was a bit dark and dingy and was a bit dusty in some areas, including the silver tissue box holder, which was very obvious. The best aspect of this hotel were the very comfort beds which gave us both a good nights sleep. Our main disappointment was with the attached bar and restaurant. The bar didn't have any tonics so ordering a gin and tonic was not possible for both nights of our visit. The Italian restaurant severe a very good, flavoursome pasta. My husband and I chose the carbonara and the pescatora pastas and both were served hot and were cooked well. Unfortunately in the second night we chose the grilled salmon and the curry special. The salmon was over cooked and the vegetables were dried out and too undercooked! Not pleasant or worth $28! The curry was flavoursome but was indicative of a curry out of a jar rather than freshly made! Big disappointment. Breakfast was disappointing for the price. Service was also lacking on the second visit. No rapport or customer service skills!

Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean. Had no issues with staff or cleaning people all vey courteous and helpful. All amenities with in the hotel were in working order. Many amenities close by within walking distance. Was the perfect location to stay for the the car show, shuttle service was supplied to attend the Car Show and bring you back. When the show was over all the cars cruised right by the hotel so we sat at the curb side and watched them go by.

We traveled to Radium for the 2017 classic car show. We've rented homes in the past but there were just two of us for this trip and posted for a hotel. The service was great, the lounge makes amazing pizzas and we couldn't beat the location! We watch the cars roll into town right out front of the the hotel!

We stayed here for a couple nights and it was quite relaxing. We utilized the indoor pool and the restaurant in the hotel for a couple breakfasts and a dinner. Our room came with a 15% off voucher for breakfast and an option to go "green" and received another voucher for $10.00 for breakfast because we stayed a second night. If I am ever to stay in Radium again, I would certainly stay here again.

Our stay here was perfect for what we needed. We were on a road trip and this was one of our stopovers. Lobby was very nice, staff was excellent. Our room was very large and quiet, perfect for travelling with a young baby.

We have stayed her many time over the years, and keep coming back. It is located perfectly, staffed excellently. superbly clean, and comfortable it is at the higher end of lodging in Radium, but worth it.

We stayed in the BW Plus Prestige Inn in August. The hotel was well run and the room was a nice size. The location was very convenient for us to visit the following hot springs - Lussier hot springs, Fairmont hot springs and Radium hot springs. Would I stay there again? Yes

Not many places to pick from I town,but we were pleased with our selection. Room had up to date decor and was quite comfortable. Tour group came in late but we never heard them. Ordered a carry-out pizza from the restaurant that was the highlight of our stay. Way better than expected.

As Best Western Hotels go this was as an hotel fine. Pleasant staff,clean rooms and so forth. The disappointment came at breakfast....staff were pleasant and very busy........the order an omelette took ages to arrive and was not well presented ,not piping hot and rubbery. Come on guys iris only an omelette for goodness sake!

We stayed one night in August, room was clean but a little tired, air conditioning worked but VERY noisy as they were self-contained thru-wall type plugged into wall so if it's a hot night you may need earplugs! We also had a drinks cooler right outside our door which was incredibly noisy when the compressor fired up but didn't seem to keep the kids awake. You are right next to main road at busy junction but other than occasional nosy trucks didn't have any issues in the room we were staying in. When you arrive you'll find the entrance under the canopy, once unloaded you'll find the main car park around the side/back if the hotel so suggest you unload car before parking up, only limited small car and motorcycle parking next to entrance. Kitchenette was okay with fridge, cooker etc, unless you are staying there for a few nights I doubt it would get used much. Plenty of local eateries nearby, including the adjoining Italian restaurant which is reasonably priced and offers breakfast with 15% off for hotel residents. Wifi seemed to work okay with no limit to number of devices per room. I did also see PC's near lobby with internet access etc. but didn't use them so not aware of chargeable or not. See reception I guess! Recommended as a one night stop over but I wouldn't want to stay there for several nights personally.

We have stayed there many times and love it there. Roomy rooms, great friendly staff, and a great location. We will continue to go up there every year. They also have new items you can use such as Mountain bikes for the vacationers.

This hotel in a good location, when I booked a room I asked for a suite for 4 days, just got a regular room, we had to move the next night into a suite, the carpets in both rooms need to be steam cleaned. for the price we paid it is very overpriced. this should be in the $150-$170 range no higher.

Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful during arrival, the food in the restaurant was well presented and really great too. Location is great and the drive down from Banff was amazing with excellent views

Hotel was clean and very excellent décor. Front counter staff were pleasant and helpful. Cleaning staff were also very engaging. Mark in the Lounge really went out of his way to make it a great experience for us. thanks Mark.

There was absolutely nothing prestigious about this hotel as the name states. The 1st floor our room was on, was eye level with the parking lot. I've never paid $250 plus a night to stare at a parking lot. So disappointing considering the wonderful views Radium has. As well as having to stare at the parking lot, our room featured a lovely mold type smell. Whatever you do- DO NOT get a room with a pull out soda intending for someone to sleep on it. The "mattress"(if you can call it that) was about 2 inches thick and you can feel every spring. Every floor always seemed to be littered with house cleaning carts and little vacuums you had to dodge around constantly. The first floor had the housekeeping laundry area, which constantly had the door open. I understand they have to do laundry, but having the door open as people are working to and from there rooms really added to the dingy basement feel. The parking area in front of the hotel had all of about 6 stalls. Anybody with mobility issues will have a hard time, because if none of these stalls are available you have to park behind the hotel and walk up a large hill to get to the lobby. Luckily we were able to drop my mom at the door and park, so she didn't have to walk up. The restaurant in the hotel is ok. A little pricey for what you get. The staff in the restaurant were phenomenal however. Super attentive and kind. Would not stay here again, and would not recommend.

We stayed here July 21 thru the 24th. We chose this property for the central location to several attractions. Ralph was the day desk clerk. He was all business - not friendly at all. When we went to our room we noticed that the door lock was not working properly. We talked to the front desk and Ralph came to look at it and said he would send someone. An hour later we had to again ask for someone to look at the lock. This issue wasn't enough for us to request a different room. Later we discovered several plumbing issues that needed to be taken care of. When someone finally came for the door lock we also showed him the plumbing issues. He took care of the plumbing issues but said he would be back the next day to replace the lock. On our last day the maintenance man finally showed up in the late afternoon to change out the lock. The room was ok but the lighting could have been better. There was only one washer and dryer for a very large hotel. Breakfast is not included in the price and the hotel only gives you a discount toward it at the adjacent restaurant. We ate there only once and unfortunately we came into the restaurant after a crew of firefighters had just came in. There was only one waitress and she did the best she could but service was slow. The pool area was dirty. The parking was bad in that if you weren't there early enough to park in front (limited spaces) you had to park in back which meant you had to use stairs to get to your room. The night clerk, Richard was great. He was full of interesting and informative information. We enjoyed visiting with him. We would think twice before staying here again. NOTE: When checking out this property on trip advisor we found pretty good reviews however, when we were in Canada and checked this property out we found very low reviews. This property does not meet our expectations of a BW Plus property.

Good location, usually these hotels have breakfast free. This one had a restaurant. The waitress at breakfast was incredibly rude. Food was okay. Good location, would stay again would go somewhere in town for breakfast.

Fast check in and check out. We had a king kitechenette. The room was large and clean. Fully stocked with everything you would need in a kitchen. Just bring food. The freezer didn't work that well. No coffee or hot water offered at front desk between 11 pm to about 6 am. Which kinda sucks if you are up at all hours of the night and don't want to wake your partner by making hot water in the room. All in all room was good. Would return.

Located within 5 mins driving to the hot springs, close to restaurants. The restaurants close around 10:00 pm. Subway closes at 8:00 so prepared to eat early if you have kids. The hotel has a pool and fitness centre.

The location of the Inn is in a good spot, with the restaurant attached, does seem to close early on Sundays, which I found shocking especially it being the summer. The pool and hot tubs are a bonus with having kids. What I didn't like was that you could hear everything in the next room to ours. The neighbors disagreeing at 2:00 am and hearing everything above us as well. That part was a bummer, and I guess comes with staying on the main floor, room 123-A. Would I stay here again, only if I was on the top floor in a corner room, as the staff was great.

Great Location and close to the hot pools. Lots of places to eat in the area. Great staff and clean rooms. There is a restaurant in the hotel as well to dine. Clean rooms and great staff. Be sure to ask not to spray Febreze in the room is booking in advance as the smell is powerful.

We arrived very late on the first night we checked in. The gentleman at the desk made a special effort to find extra pillows and blankets in order to ensure our stay was very comfortable. The servers at the restaurant were also extremely helpful and offered good suggestions on what events were happening around town and just outside of town. The room was also very spacious and had a kitchenette which was very nice. An excellent experience!

We stayed here for one night and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Comfortable beds and quiet at night. Good a/c. Check in was swift and friendly. We did not eat in the hotel. Good value family road trip hotel.

Very few good dinning options in town with hotel dining room looking tired with only the tour groups eating there. Breakfast was NOT included in our high rate. Had to eat in nearby town of Invermere. Recommend staying there if you are in the area.

The front desk help was disinterested and not helpful. Breakfast was non-existent. The room was clean, but the bed was too soft and hurt my back. This motel is not up to Best Western usual standards. It angered me that the restaurant in the motel only offered 20% off its breakfast. We avoided it, and found some other very nice places to eat.

We stayed here for 2 nights then moved to a condo that we had previously booked. Next year we're just staying at the B.W for the week. Nice hotel with pool, hot tub, laundry and a workout room. The rooms were a good size and clean. We all enjoyed our stay.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Front desk staff very short when answering questions, not helpful when appliances not working, room was dirty with an inches of dust on everything from shelving to bathroom cover for kleenex box. Room had smell in it. Guest rooms not secured during the day. Anyone had access to side doors.

I was not very happy with this hotel. The parking in the front that should have been for motorcycles was filled with cars that didn't fit, leaving the motorcycles to park in the back where there was no security. The front desk lady was not helpful. The bartender was very abrupt and not friendly, the breakfast was cold, took a long time to place the order and the food was incorrect.

Hotel itself is very nice and clean, however the staff at the front desk was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I haven't encountered this level of rudeness in a long time. Considering this is a tourist spot in the summer you might want to consider replacing some of these cranky people with friendly people. We will be back to radium, but certainly not to the best western.

The hotel has very poor insulation, making the noise very bad. you could hear talking in the next room and we were unfortunate to have two families across from each other always going back and forth slamming doors well into the late hours.

Rooms were clean, updated decor, and very nice to relax in after driving all day. Newer flat screen TV's and mini fridge in the room. Pool and hot tub were fun to go to. My family will stay here again - thanks for the great night !!

The location was excellent for our ATV excursions in the area. A short drive across the river opened up 100's of Km's of trails and FSR to explore. The hotel was an excellent base and our room was spacious with a kitchenette. There is and nice pool and well equipped exercise room. The on site restaurant is nice but we only had breakfast. It is not free breakfast but you do get 15% off and we preferred this option and enjoyed some great omelets and friendly service. Our only regret is we didn't plan on staying longer but we plan to at a later date. Oh yes, there is plenty of parking for an ATV trailer as well which we noticed could be a problem at some of the other motels in the area.

Radium and area has something for everyone who likes to spend time outdoors. Hot springs, pools, lakes with beaches, mountain hikes and activities, great golf and tasty restaurants. The best motel in the area is the Best Western Plus Prestige.

Radium is a small town with mostly older type motel accommodations. This was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely polite and helpful. Newly renovated restaurant was also a nice surprise. I believe there are plans for additional updating and renos but what they have completed to date are very well done.

Family of four travelling to Radium in the summer need great service and amenities. Unfortunately and surprisingly this hotel didn't seem to meet criteria. Pool and hot tub weren't up to par, Best Western elite status not mentioned or offered, doors difficult to use and staff unfriendly. Good location though and nice exterior.

Despite the fact we did not arrive until 2am on a Monday morning due to an eight hour mechanical delay the front desk gentlemen was excellent in describing the area and the features of the hotel. We had a small kitchen along with a king bed which was wonderful! We have never slept this well in years! The town itself is very small and quaint and it pretty much shuts down by 8pm or so. There are a couple of gas stations and restaurants nearby but no true grocery stores to speak of. The restaurant was good and we had one dinner there. Breakfast is not included in your hotel rate, so be aware of that. The staff goes out of there way to help you, including using the fax when we had a minor issue that had to be resolved just before check out. Our room had a small cook top and a microwave and a small fridge and freezer which came in very handy. The room was clean and the internet and TV worked just fine. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We have stayed here on several occasions. The hotel is well placed and offers a number of facilities. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. I had occasion to use the Spa for a massage and found this excellent. The Hot Springs are a 5 mins drive away and there is plenty of parking at the hotel. The rooms are well proportioned and well equipped.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of our Rocky Mountain tour. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and even witnessed some documents we had to send back to the UK. The room was large, clean and had a fridge etc. The air conditioning was a bit loud but didn't really disturb us. We had breakfast every day and were given a discount voucher. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly and the food was fine. We had great views out of the windows and watched goffers playing across the road. Our only gripe was that we only got one slice of bacon with the breakfast. The hotel is ideally situated to explore Kooteney National Park and other points of interest. It is near to the Hot Springs so you can enjoy a dip and get back for a relaxing shower. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here. They have the perfect location. Nice staff, especially Mark in the lounge. Great place for the dog. Right at the south gate of Kootenay National Park. Since the Radium Hot Springs bathing pools were closed due to a outage we used the hotel pool and hot tub. They were typical facilities.

We made reservations here for 7 of us in two rooms. The rooms were very nice and quiet. We were a little disappointed that they did not offer a complimentary breakfast for the money. It is walking distance of "Horsethief Creek" a good place to eat dinner, down the street. When we checked in the lady told us to park on the side, the only lot they seemed to have, and come in the front door. It was a little walk, then down the hall. Leaving we noticed there was also a side door closer to the parking lot. Over all a good place to stay. Nice pool area for the kids. I did not try the hot tub.

Radium isn't that big. This is a good spot, clean and we had a quiet stay. Adjacent to but not aligned to the roads. 6 minutes or less to the hot springs, and we recommend the pub nearby, Horse thief Pub for the best burger ever and excellent service. We look forward to exploring more of the Kootenay region again very soon.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the location was terrific. We stayed here a week and used it as a home base while we visited Banff National Park. The very first night we stayed (we had a ground floor, end room) a herd of 13 Ram/Sheep walked down the middle of the street, past our window, and the hotel. It made for a terrific photo shoot. Also, about a mile out of town, there was an approx.. 2 year old Grizzly Bear seen not far off the road. They let you "opt out" of maid service in return for $10 off your breakfast in their restaurant if you like. We did so a couple days and the food was very good. Unfortunately, even though we paid for 5 people travelling together, you still only get four bath towels, wash cloths, etc. When we called down to get a 5th bath towel, they refused because we "opted" out of the maid service! So, we did not request "no service" the third day and the maids still didn't clean or leave clean towels then, either. After a telephone call, they brought clean towels and told us the "button" had been pushed for "do not disturb." We didn't even know there was a "button" and therefore, did not push it. At any rate, that is the only problem we had and it was taken care of eventually. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if in Radium Hot Springs

I stayed with a friend one night returning from the Canadian Rockies. The Inn was very easy to find, and we had an excellent stay. Very much enjoyed the hot tub and pool. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the Inn which was excellent. Very good service from all employees.

The hotel itself was lovely and delivered the level of comfort that I expect from Best Western. The adjoined restaurant (where they serve breakfast at 20% off to hotel guests) was not good. The food was simple and bland, but priced as though it was five-star. Despite good service and the discount, I could not eat there more than once.

Nice hotel but about 40% or more over priced !! Location is right in the center of town. Would go back if they lowered the prices... Good service. Nice rooms.. and great location... But there are many small hotels in the town that are cute and much much more affordable !!!

Enjoyed a single night stop over. Booked in advance for a decent rate. Had all required for adults and a toddler, very comfortable looking "cot" (as us British fall it) of the playpen type. The provided sheets which made for a sound nights sleep for the toddler and the adults. Onsite facilities looked nice but didn't use them as we had enjoyed the hot springs earlier and were tired from a busy day. The attached restaurant served good food, the hostess ensured we had everything sorted despite a slight error in the order, very quickly and professionally rectified. Only downside was the ice machines are very loud and could be heard in the room, thankfully not all the time. Unlike other places this is not affected by logging traffic despite being next to the busy roads. A sound nights sleep was had by all.

We were a group of 13 in Radium for a family reunion and would most definitely return for our next one. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable offering a great night's sleep! The staff were friendly and helpful!

Thought this motel was over-priced for the experience. The fridge buzzed and rattled keeping us awake and the rug was not that clean. The pillows were lumpy. Don't think they should charge high prices just because they use a fancy name like "Best Western Plus", when the overall experience is NOT a plus.

Very clean and well kept hotel in the heart of the mountains. Easy to walk around the town and right across the street from a beautiful park. Beds are super comfy. Never actually used the pool or hot tub as we went up to the hot springs instead which are very close to the hotel. Not too satisfied with the breakfast staff the day we were there as they were unorganized but in the end the food was worth waiting for. Pictures on the wall from years ago we found really interesting.

This Hotel is a pleasure from Check-in to Check-out ; the Staff in all areas were helpful , professional and friendly. The room was a reasonable size with all the amenities that we expected and / or required. The Italian restaurant , and owner Sue , were well worth a visit with excellent and reasonably priced choices.

The hotel was clean and was located in the centre of the town. Easy to get to all the restaurants, hikes and hot spring. We have no comment about the restaurant or bar, but the pool and hot tub was enjoyable.

Great location, nice staff. The restaurant connected to the hotel is just so-so. Dinner was fine, but breakfast time found the restaurant understaffed, thought he waitress was apologetic and really went out of her way to be helpful, there were just too many in the restaurant for one person. Again the food was just so-so

Best Western motel / hotels are very consistent in quality. However this one did not provide complimentary breakfast although did give 20% discount toward breakfast. It's good to be a member to save even more on your travel accommodations.

I spent two nights and the room is standard and clean. The checkin was smooth and easy and informative. The wifi is good and consistent there is a restaurant in the hotel and water and coffee in the lobby, the gym is extra special, best in any best western I have stayed in

This Best Western has proofen to be a good quality hotel. Welcoming, clean and spacious rooms with updates. Doors cannot be open totally. But they will work on that. At the other side of the road is the road to Kootenay National Park. Sufficient parking spots. Restaurant on the site which has been renovated. Modern but warm atmosphere with a Italian menu.

We were very happy with the hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very good. We used the pool, hot tub and fitness room and were pleasantly surprised. It was a lovely stay - I would definitely recommend this hotel in Radium! Walking distance to everything.

We attended a soccer tournament and the majority of the team were able to stay here within close proximity. They had a 10pm curfew which was very much appreciated and respected. We would stay here again should the opportunity arise

For the price, didn't meet expectation, but overall, a decent stay. The lack of a continental breakfast, because of the on site restaurant, would have helped. Rooms were clean, but poorly renovated...the door wouldn't open all the way because the floor got in the way.

We stayed at this hotel on the 2nd night of our trip. It was a nice property. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. They were doing some remodeling but it didn't bother us. This is really close to the hot springs.

Very nice. Only one elevator that is shared with cleaning staff but didn't cause any issues! New and clean. I can't rate Service very high as we didn't require any service other than check in and check out and that was great! Central to a lot. Could walk to the hot springs if you are a walker. You get 20% for breakfast at the restaurant so no free breakfast if that's what you look for.

the over all visit was out standing will do it again,maybe stay longer and visit the park during the summer and spend more time in the hot pools also enjoyed the wild life in the park as well as the goats in the middle of town.

If you have pets. Don't stay at that hotel. They will charge you arm and a leg. $80 for 2 nights is outrageous. They don't tell you that till you arrive so you have no choice but take it. Restaurant food was horrible. Day time staff was good. Night shift was horrible. Used to stay at the hotel all the time. Never again.

We booked a weekend here and arrived on a Friday afternoon. There was a mix-up with our reservation (I booked on credit card points) which was quickly resolved by the manager. The woman at the front desk gave each of my small girls (9 months and 2 years) a complimentary Teddy Bear. Room was clean and functional with exception of a couple of items (door to room jams up on floor, shower leaks like crazy onto the bathroom floor). We called the front desk for a crib and they offered us a pack and play for an extra $10/day. (i don't know why hotels advertise cribs when all that's available are play pens). Once delivered to our room (we left for dinner) we had to call the front a second time to get some sheets for the play pen. I think the woman at the front desk was the only employee in the building! We booked this hotel because of the indoor pool. Pool was decent and the kids had fun. There was ample parking around the property. Good - Family Friendly, Indoor pool, ample parking, free wi-fi worked well, bed's were reasonably comfortable. Bad - Half a flight of stairs to traverse if parked in back lot, no cribs (when advertised), charge $ for a pack and play. Minor maintenance issues. Summary- Solid 3 star hotel. Good for a short excursion to the mountains. Location is central for walking around Radium. Still looking for the prestige.....

This Best Western is in a very convenient, can not miss location, right at the intersection of 2 major highways Hwy 93 & hwy 95. But despite being right off the Highway, the rooms are located to the back and we did not hear any noise from the Highways. Rooms are very large and clean with sitting area and small fridge; unfortunately no coffee maker; everything was very clean. Beds were super comfy. There's a pool on site which we did not visit. The hotel has a restaurant and pub on site, we only visited the restaurant for breakfast, you're given a 20% off coupon for breakfast menu at check-in. Unfortunately the breakfast was not very good, extremely bland and not tasty! Would not eat there again. Everything in Radium is within 10 minute walk from hotel. But you would drive to the Hot Springs, about 5 minutes by car. Would definitely stay here again.

Unusual low volume noise all night . Hard to define and difficult to There was a low volume noise all night. We were unable to identify it nor locate it.It affected our sleep. Perhaps I ought to have turned the fan on a higher setting. But it didn't ruin our experience! All else 10 out of 10. Clean! Friendly! Very convenient location We will return! We will return!

Staff were very friendly, everyone was very helpful and nice during our stay, the pool was clean and well cared for. Restaurant staff was kind, funny, and amazing. They probably have the best hot chocolate in the world. Would definitely stay again if I were in the area.

We come every year and stay at the Best Western. Always Good service, good food at the restaurant and excellent service from the waitresses. Rooms are decent and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Stayed one night on the way from the Okanagan to Jasper. The hotel lobby is very nice, with vintage photos of the area. Had pizza and beer in the bar for dinner, which was as good as I've had almost anywhere! The room was well appointed, and the bathroom is VERY roomy. No free breakfast, but there was a 20% off coupon for the attached restaurant. Unfortunately we were on the road early the next morning, so didn't have time to partake. On the way out of town, we were greeted by a large group of mountain sheep. I hope to return to the BW in Radium in the future and explore the area.

Stayed 1 night with a checkout on May 04. Facility was clean along with the room . This BW does not include breakfast. Restaurant serves a very good Pizza. The rooms ac unit started and continued to make very loud rattling throughout the night. At check out the staff was advised, inficated he would have staff repair it. No offer of a breakfast or discount??

Golf weekend in Radium that was awesome. Hotel was very good. Staff were excellent. Lounge was good (notwithstanding loud mouth local) with good food. Pool and hot tub and fitness Centre were all very good with early morning and late night hours. Golfed The Springs all 3 days. Steve Bob, Matt and Garrett did a great job. Even shot a decent couple of rounds. Would definitely be back.

Stayed in Radium Hot Springs on our hot springs tour of the Kootenays. Very clean hotel with courteous checkin staff. Only downside to the experience was the one server in the restaurant for breakfast leaving empty coffee cups sit too long. Otherwise a great place to stay.

I was under the impression that all BW Plus hotels offered a free breakfast and was disappointed when it wasn't provided. On the upside the cleaning staff did a wonderful job with our room and they were all very friendly. Thank you.

Great service, friendly helpful staff. Our room was wonderful, clean and modern. Loved the pool and hot tub and the food at the restaurant was yummy. Wonderful breathtaking views and the hot springs is just a quick ride up the hill.

Really enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the Hot Springs. The beds were comfortable and slept well after a long soak. It was nice being able to enjoy breakfast onsite and the food was fantastic just wish we could have stayed longer.

A spectacular drive from Calgary to Radium on our way home to the Fraser Valley brought us here. Enjoyed dinner in Carringtons Lounge, great bartender, and our room, including the view, was excellent.

We stayed Easter long weekend and were impressed with very friendly service at front desk, room and the restaurant. Beds are so comfortable, very clean rooms and they were very accommodating bringing us a kettle and microwave extremely quickly. I also used the gym, which wasn't bad. The pool and hot tub were fun. Only complaint I might have is no shower or change room in pool area. (Ladies washroom only. ??) and they were out of fruit at the Breakfast. (Not to good for a long weekend) But I would go back as it's good value, great service and super comfy beds.

We were on holidays and the Prestige Inn was our last night. We enjoyed a beautiful clean and comfortable room with quiet for a restful sleep. Our only complaint was the lack of a free breakfast that all the other Best Western Hotels had offered. We received a coupon for 20% off the hotel breakfast which would have cost the same, I'm sure, if we had dined out.

The Best Western Plus Prestige Inn Radium Hot Springs is located on main street when you come into town. Hotel is modern, rooms are large and comfortable, staff pleasant, and hotel is located within short drive of several excellent golf courses. Found it odd that we couldn't watch hockey games on room TV in HD, but maybe it was just a settings issue. Will definitely consider Best Western next time I'm in Radium area.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was extremely noisy, kids playing in halls until midnight knocking the metal knockers on doors. Asked how stay was mentioned it was poor and nothing more was asked.

Building and lobby are well maintained, friendly staff. Noise insulation isn't the best, could hear people talking next to us. Room & bed was clean but not the most comfortable. Avoid the hot tub and pool, dark and creepy.

Nice stay, looking forward to the new restaurant décor on our next visit. Recommended. Centrally located, beds were comfortable, Bath sink at an excellent height! Decent pool/hot tub. No waterslide unfortunately. Men's change room was out of order...

We went to Radium for one night and stayed here..Very nice Hotel. The bed was so so comfortable, that we had a great night sleep. We went to the Lounge for supper and a few cocktails, and the gentleman that served us was such a nice man. Loved everything about this hotel other than the Lounge closed on Saturday night at 10:00pm. Clean hotel and great staff. Would definitely stay again.

Although there were renovations going on in the restaurant, our stay was good. The staff were helpful and printed off directions for an attraction that we were looking at doing. The hotel itself was clean, we could hear the kids in other rooms during the day but that would be my only dissatisfaction

Room was clean and quit. Pool area was a little small. Kids enjoyed it though. Service was good and front desk lady was great. Restaurant was under renovations but they did have a temporary set up. Would have been nice if breakfast was included.

After several disappointments at hotels during our travels through the Rockies, we were expecting the worst and got the best with we arrived at the Best Western in Radium. We entered the spacious and clean lobby and were immediately greeted by friendly staff with a sense of humor, and a desire to make our stay the best they could. Into the room to find it very clean, a fabulous comfortable bed and all the amenities you need (definitely all the basics). While their restaurant was already closed for the evening, they made a few calls to find one in town that was open, told us what to expect, and it turned out just fine. Breakfast the next morning in the restaurant in the hotel proved to be very good, and again staffed with wonderful friendly people. No one was worried about whose table you were, if you needed something, whoever was walking by was more than willing to assist. A great experience and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a really nice stay. Room was clean, pool was large and warm so super enjoyable. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. We got a voucher at the front desk for breakfast so it was a little cheaper than the menu prices. Large parking lot for bigger vehicles. We would stay here again

My Son went up for a nice get away and we rented a suit but the carpet was Disgusting full of stains dirt. When we asked for extra towels they questioned it but still gave them to us. The Uacuzzi was old and rusted and look very dirty I would'nt bath my dog in it. We would never would stay there again and would not recommend any of our friends or family staying there. And the had a Ridiculous price for what it was!!! Best place on Earth to stay at is Fairmount Springs Hotel Unfortunately they do not have one in Radium.

lovely hotel, very friendly staff. rooms very clean and spacious. would recommend this hotel as a stop over. didn't use restaurant so couldn't comment on it, we had a drink in the bar and staff were very nice.

The hotel is nice and the people made us feel welcome. Beautiful mountains view. The restaurant is really bad, even a burger wasn't good... when we told them that the meat was over cooked they said "oh I think the hit was too hight when the chef cooked". Really????

Comfortable overnight stay; location was easy to find but too close to logging road; hotel could have included breakfast. My spouse was disappointed with bed sheets and comforter but furnace and thermostat worked well.

Great, clean, easy to find place to stay. Walking trails right across the road. 2.5 kms to hot springs. Walking trail all the way to the hot springs is you want to walk. Grocery store very close. Restaurant in hotel. Wild life every where in the town. They matched the TripAdvisor price. I would stay again.

I searched for the best prices and then phoned the hotel to determine if they would meet the Booking.com price. I reserved for three nights and at no time did they tell me it was mandatory I stayed three nights. When I checked in I said I was staying for two and they told me they would have to increase my price by more than $80 per night! No way around this they said. To avoid being "taken" we decided to stay in the area and stay for three nights. Cleaning of the rooms was NOT adequate. Photos will tell the story here. Upon check out I asked for the manager who agreed that the housekeeping in our room was not good but was experiencing high staff turnover. Note that the housekeeping staff appeared to be living in the hotel and hung out on the basement level. I think I received a $20 discount (not that I wanted it).

Nice comfortable suite and a lavish breakfast. We were a group of 6 and managed a suite but had to make do with one toilet, all in all it was ok. The property is nice and i noticed that a lot of people were staying there with their dogs.

We stopped in Radium Hot Springs on our way to Banff and Jasper and stayed at this Best Western. May have been a little bit of an older hotel, or perhaps more traditional is a better way to put it. It was absolutely fine. The rooms were clean, the facility was very well-kept, and we recommend it in all respects. It is in walking distance of several restaurants but then again Radium is not very big at all, as it serves as a gateway to the Canadian Parks

I just spent one night there recently and found it to be a nice hotel. However, its way overpriced. Even with discounts. Beds were o.k. sheets were a little worn. A motel would have been just as good for a night on the road. Best part was the Horsethief Pub just down the road. I would suggest checking out the motels in the area first unless you want to spend $200 Canadian for a room. Wish I had.

Excellent service from check in to check out. Even the housekeeping staff in the hallways were very helpful and friendly. Back door was conveniently located near the parking lot. Staff was helpful in suggesting places to go to eat and different activities. Great views from room. Great room, larger than normal, with a king bed and sofa. Had trouble with TV. Tried to find a menu but didn't have any luck.

Originally booked elsewhere, I decided to stay here in order to use some of our expiring Air Miles. It was just what I expected from this chain. I hadn't stayed at a Best Western for a long time as I much prefer Hampton Inns as a rule. This was as I remembered the BW chain from the past. Dated and not so clean feeling. The parking lot was a bit of a walk from the front entry. For someone with a minor handicap not so great. The bed was comfy enough but not as nice as I've had elsewhere on our trip. Location was convenient - not especially picturesque but not sure you can get that right in town at Radium. Limited amenities nearby. I was disappointed by the lack of a charming downtown setting in Radium. I would not choose to return to this town again. We came for the hot springs on our way back to Calgary and although it was a great experience to sit and enjoy them, the change rooms were well used and needed and update and the property in sad disrepair. The photos make them look nicer than they actually are. Very limited parking and lots of stairs. The cut through the mountain shown in Radium's tourism marketing is only accessible by foot path along the busy roadside and taking a photo requires good editing skills as there are lots of unsightly things around it such as signs and concrete barriers.

After staying at the amazing BW Freeport in Calgary the night before, our expectations were high...I guess that was just our mistake; never expect what you had yesterday... Price should be lower, but supply and demand dictates, I guess. The sheets had spots (I never noticed but the Mrs pointed them out). The breakfast was not included with the inflated price of room. I don't complain much but feel obligated to share..At minimum, after spending $240, I think a full breakfast should be included, just saying...

Very nice, quiet hotel though it seems to draw many motorcyclists. Parking is limited close-by. Good location to visit Kootenay National Park. Walking distance to restaurants and other shopping. Nice, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Very clean.

Stayed one night. Front desk staff very friendly and informative. Had a king size room on the first floor. I thought the beds were a little too firm...husband liked them. Rooms were clean, did noticed ceiling light cover was missing. They have a restaurant connected to the hotel, food was good and the servings were large. Would stay again.

My Wife and I were on holidays and slowly making our way back through B.C., we got to Radium and stopped at the Best Western to see if they had a room, we planned on 2 days to be able to go to the Hot Springs, We did go with a premium room, the room was beautiful, had a Jacuzzi tub in the corner, it was clean and the shower was high enough that I could stand under it, the view of the mountains out of our window was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was good, it was nice to go in at 11:00 a.m. and still have breakfast, we did not eat dinner here, they have a small pub that is British themed, it was a nice comfortable pub, we had no problems at all with our stay.

I stayed here with my dad and brother on the weekend. It was a nice hotel little hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I have a couple small complaints they should include hot spring passes and a continental breakfast would be great. Other wise they have great motorcycle parking and great service. I would stay here again.

We stayed for one night in this hotel. Upon arrival the clerk behind the desk gave all information in a very nice way. We entered our spacious room which had all it need, two king-size beds, coffee machine, bathroom etc. etc. The hotel has a swimming pool and quite a big fitness area with a lot of machines. Strangly enough no bike! Althouth 2-3 treadmills, 2 rowing machines and lot's of other devices where available no spinning or normal bike was present. When going for dinner elsewhere my wife, during walking there, hurt her ankle. Upon return to the hotel they offered all the help. Bandages pack of ice and even offered calling ambulance! They treated her very well. All the credits to the two girls behind the desk that evening! The breakfast was not included but you could buy a $ 8 dollar ticket and you could order any breakfast item from the menu (expect the steak and eggs). They are easy if you want to add a side and substitute one for another. Great service at a more greater price! Internet and Wi-Fi coverage is excellent. Internet speeds amazing. Think, based on what we saw so far, this is the best hotel in this area.

Best Western in Radium Hot Springs offers easy access right off Highway 95 at the Highway 93 junction. The staff are friendly and helpful. As well as their in house restaurant and lounge there are several good places to eat and a pub near by.

I booked the SUITE at Radium for the first time. It was in the 1st floor (one floor below the 2nd floor where the lobby was!) The hall way was smelling with lots of towels in the hall way and the service room door open all the time. The room was dirty, the facet in the bath top was loose, the toilet lid was loose too, the carpet was dirty, the shampoos where not enough, there was dirt on the cabinets and in the refrigerator. The elevator button at the first floor was not working. The breakfast was not cooked well. I have been at this place before the other double queen bed rooms where OK.

I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling through Radium Hot Springs. I found the hotel very comfortable and clean. It's easy to get to and right at the junction to Hwy 93 through Kootenay National Park. It's close to everything in Radium. My room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel room was clean. Linens were clean and soft. Bed was very comfy. Property was well maintained and staff were helpful. The attached restaurant however was a let down. It claims to be fine Italian dining. However it is more akin to food you would get at a cafeteria. Although they did have some good craft beer on tap. There are much better restaurants in the area. Note. Radium is home to many Bavarian style restaurants.

Excellent location, excellent service in a centrally located hotel. This year I was please to be able to stay in this hotel with its large parking lot and located in an part of foin that allows a traveller to walk to many amenities in town - so important after a roadtrip. Staff are relaxer happy to answer questions yet are busy taking care of client needs.

The hotel is clean and has a good location. The room and the bathroom was clean.The room was very spacious. The bathroom products, soap and shampoo, were of very good quality. We (my kids and I) had good breakfast (paid , a la carte) in the morning. In one morning I ordered eggs benedict but instead of a hollandaise sauce in top of them, it was a kind of gravy. This was little weird. What I didn't like was the noise on the hallway in the morning. The cleaning persons start their jobs very early, around 9 am for example it was a person that clean with a machine the carpet on the hallway. When I am in holiday I like to sleep late, the same for my kids but this time we couldn't. I don't know if I will come back at this hotel very soon. I will try one of the cute Bavarian hotel in Radium (there are plenty and very nice from outside)

Nice accommodations and having a pool and a hot tub is really nice. Golfed all morning and came back to enjoy a nice swim and hot tub. Wasn't very busy but I'm sure it can be. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Good location close to everything. Will return again.

Great location. Rooms average. Beds comfortable....pillows a little lumpy but pretty good. Poor lighting in rooms. Would be nice to brighten up the entire property actually. Feels quite dark. Bathroom lighting was terrible! I would recommend adding a light to the shower area so the bathroom isn't so dark. Hard to do hair/makeup. In a king room and we have a sofa but I think we're missing a chair as it seems a little empty. Next time in radium I will try somewhere different.

This was a good hotel, with a restaurant & bar located in the hotel. Close to the hot springs, and Banff National Park. Staff was friendly & helpful, clean & comfortable rooms, all amenities supplied. In the center of town, within walking distance to all restaurants, shops, etc. Would definitely recommend.

This is a useless hotel. The workers have piss poor attitudes. Rooms are substandard and remind me of a box. The beds are the worst and the floor had bugs crawling. I highly won't recommend cookie cutter rooms

The Best Western Plus Prestige Inn is located near the main intersection in Radium Hot Springs. It is only a 10 minute drive to the Radium Hot Springs Spa. The hotel has reasonable rooms and plenty of parking. Guests can easily walk from the hotel to the far end of town in only a few minutes.

We stayed here for our anniversary it was an amazing time.. However It started out a little rocky as we had asked for an early check in way back when we booked in April then we were told it wouldn't be ready until 3 then at 3 we were told it still wouldn't be ready for 40 minutes so we were definitely upset... The staff seemed annoyed by us although we were the ones spending our anniversary waiting in their reception... This was back in June.. After all was said and done we had a good time at the hot springs and decided to book this same package for a wedding gift... We were told the exact same package we had booked and room would be an additional $100 then I complained and said why when we came in summer and we are booking for an off peak time.. I was put on hold and Anna came back and said okay we can do $75 and I was like well why? And she stumbled abit and said its a long weekend then I told her November 5th is not a long weekend she put me on hold came back and said okay it will be $60... I was still not satisfied as we came at one of the more peak times and this just seemed like a money grab... "Anna" the receptionist said "I don't want to deal this anymore call the manager" in an extremely rude manner... Absolutely love the hotel and package but the staff and integrity are terrible...

The Hotel is located right in the heart of radium Hot Springs. friendly staff, clean, lots of parking etc. There is an adjacent attached restaurant and lounge on the property that serves some of the best food around. My only small comment (Complaint?) is that Breakfast was NOT included in this BW plus property. Thank you

We stayed here with two babies, three kids under 10 a senior and two adults. We got a king suite with a King bed and room, and a Queen and a pullout in the main area. The room was pretty clean except the coffee pot hadn't been washed. It is located next to a busy road so if you are a light sleeper ask to be in a room that is not next to the road. The kitchen was large and stocked with dish soap and cloths, dishes, a kettle, coffee pot, toaster, microwave and large fridge as well as a dining table and chairs. The bathroom was also large and my elderly mother appreciated all the grab bars. It was also nice that there was a shower chair and complimentary playpen for a baby. There were two big screen TVs, one in each room and the air conditioner worked well. We enjoyed the pool immensely. It was even warm enough for my baby daughter. The two separate spaces were also good, so when my twins woke up, the others were not woken up. The only things we wished for were a clean coffee pot and free breakfast with our room. For 336$ (approx), one expects at the very least a small breakfast buffet.

Centrally located, a bit noisy ie. traffic, but helpful staff, clean, modernized rooms, comfortable beds, no issues with wifi. Parking is decent. Surprised to learn at check in that there was NO complimentary breakfast as many other Best Westerns offer. This is a big help traveling with kids and we were kind of counting on it. Was told that the restaurant in the hotel is an "independent business".

This is a good hotel located conveniently in Radium within walking distance to the Hot Pool. The staff were excellent, friendly with commendable customer service skills. The Hotel is clean, has good parking and has comfortable beds. My only comment would be the slight stale cigarette smoke we noticed every time we entered our room. It would also be nice to get a free breakfast. I would also recommend to ask for a room facing away from the road and the constant road traffic. However, I would still recommend this hotel to others.

When we arrived and were given the keys to our room, it wasn't even close to being ready....when I went back up to inform the front desk I was advised I would need to wait 10-15 for a room which I wasn't happy about....I was told they had late checkouts which in my eyes has nothing to do with me. They did end up providing breakfast vouchers to my family. The rooms were ok, nothing fancy and not cleaned very thorough. The swimming pool was nice. The restaurant attached is ok food, the first morning was good and they had a buffet but the Friday there were 2 waitstaff a full restaurant, no buffet so everything was so slow....I felt bad for the waitresses as they were doing it all, seating, taking orders, cleaning tables, cAshing people out with a system that would frustrate anyone. Owners need to revamp the place as its very dumpy looking. Overpriced for what you get in my opinion

Having had a really shabby experience the last time I booked with a best western, I may well have had concerns staying here. But no, the hotel was excellent, the staff reasonable and it made me proud to be a full paying diamond member. The manager and his staff were very helpful and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return again in the future. Many thanks.

Very enjoyable stay. Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of parking directly beside the hotel. We didn't have a kettle in our room but a kettle was provided immediately. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable.

This was our second visit to this property with better results. Room location this time was better than out last visit. Room is large, clean and plenty of amenities available. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check-in process was efficient and staff courteous. Swimming pool is not the greatest. Went twice and both times they were out of towels. Only negative - again - is the on site restaurant. Looks to be family run as they had their younger children helping out - while they were nice enough I don't think it was appropriate. Ordered breakfasts for the family. On the most part all was good except for my son's pancake breakfast - every one of the pancakes was under-cooked and tasted like dough. They did take that item off the bill. Two strikes. won't be having meals there again.

Lives up to the Best Western Plus flag as it has the basic requirements. We had our own wine and were able to get some nice wine glasses from the front desk, Had morning coffee at the front desk which is always nice. Has an attached restaurant which was good as there is very little in Radium of quality eateries. Nothing special but it works for a night.

Stayed two nights. King bed kitchenette. Nice size room. Kitchen had everything we needed. Housekeeping did tidy our room. Just a tidy. No clean towels dish cloths for kitchen. Mirror in bathroom not cleaned. Not a fan of the vessel sink. I'm short so feel like I'm brushing my teeth in a trough. Room above was VERY noisy. Loved our view north but then you have the drawback of lumber trucks. Staff friendly enough. Never felt special. And for the price I'd like to feel a little special. I prefer hotels to motels but I would probably stay somewhere different next time.

Not up to Prestige standards. Room was overpriced. Loud A/C in room made it difficult to sleep. Poor breakfast at restaurant. No a la carte menu, only small, unappetizing buffet. Indoor pool downstairs was not appealing. Would not stay there again. Not recommended.

As a gold elite member, I have stayed in a lot of Best Western even into the the United States. This by far was one of the worse ones I have stayed at. Front desk were nowhere to be found while there was 3 other guests waiting to check-in. There was no welcome to Radium or Best Western. As a Gold member I had to ask for the extra and she said "oh" and went in behind and got 2 gift bags containing a can of pop, chips & cookies. Our room was located street level and the window hinge didn't lock at all and window very loose. Our room was located right next door to the guest laundry facilities which became noisy at times. Breakfast is at your cost - even though it is possible when you have a restaurant in the hotel to have a quick start breakfast (seen and we have done many hotels). Small menu with only a few things to pick from would of been nice. Next time we will be staying at the Best Western in Invermere. Certainly not a hotel that is friendly and welcoming to their guests or accommodating.

Stayed at this property for two nights as part of a trans-Canada road trip. Opted to stay in Radium rather than paying Banff's hotel rates. The room was a little pricey at $150/ night but I left feeling happy that we stayed. We were provided with a two queen room on the main floor that had an amazing view of the mountains. The room had two sitting chairs by the window I enjoyed a couple glasses of wine watching the mountains. The room was very clean, it seemed like nobody had every been in it before (and it was a pet room)! The decor was modern and furniture/ bed very comfortable. We enjoyed dinner on the pub patio which was nice and watched the mountain goats walk by! The hotel is a short drive from the hot springs which I highly recommend visiting. We stayed mostly at Best Westerns throughout our trans-Canada trip and this one was the only one that did not offer continental breakfast. We also ate in the pub which was nice. I would recommend this property to others and hope that I will be able to visit again.

The rooms at this hotel are quite clean. I was disappointed that there were no double queens available but i understand being that this hotel caters to a different crowd. I do wish that the hotel was a bit more secured with keyed entries in the back. As i assume the back hall sometimes gets unpaid guest using it to warm up in the winter (and possibly for a bathroom as it did smell quite bad)

Bad experience started with check-in. The front desk person gave incorrect information on the room location, the parking and the alternative entrances. She apparently didn't know one could enter in the back and not walk up stairs to the first floor but rather get to the elevator. I tried to elicit specific information from her but she brushed me off and went on to another guest. Unfortunately we got to know both the elevator and ice machine quite well as our room was right across the hall and there was no insulation covering the 2 inch gap under the door. We stuffed a towel in but it did not help and they were both used throughout the night. In the morning it turned out that the available breakfast was not included as was implied when the reservation was made. That assumption was likely my fault but by that time I was willing to blame everything on them.There are a number of other hotels in Radium Hot Springs and I urge you to try those.

While it's an average hotel (despite the 'Prestige' title), the beds are below average in comfort. The TV picture was distorted indicating they're cable service is sub-par. Albeit we spent most time outside as the area is beautiful. Watch out for food prices in the dining room: we were forced to pay $15.00 for a terrible brunch with the typical canned eggs and poor overall selection and quality. They didn't deliver the breakfast vouchers promised upon reservation. You can do better at VRBO re condos in the area - better ambience too. Would return only as a last resort - and it is a cut above some of the other local hotels. Go condo.

This hotel was very clean. Check in and check out was quick and service was friendly. Our room was large and nice that the ice machine was close. Highly recommend staying here. we only had breakfast at the restaurant and would recommend trying a other local place or Timmies down the road in Inveremere, very average at a high cost. Will return and stay again.

Beautiful motel on the edge of town. Pretty, spacious, clean rooms with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Yes, had to pay for a bite of breakfast - thought they were standard with BW Plus, but maybe not in Canada? Just 5 minutes from Radium Hot Springs in Kootenay National Park. First time visitors and it was well worth it! The hot pool is really neat. Some strange rules - you leave your shoes in the hall outside the lockers. Still very awesome. We hit the motel pool in the morning and had it all to ourselves. The staff is fantastic, everywhere. And our morning visitors were a treat. We'll go back!

In an area full of smaller motels the Best Western is competitive in price and offers a great stay in Radium. The lounge has great food and the wait staff when I stayed there was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I recently enjoyed staying a couple of nights in this hotel with me elderly parents. This is one of the newest hotels in Radium. The staff is friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The hotel is clean and quiet and the rooms are spacious. The beds are very comfortable. I had to request thinner pillows and those were delivered promptly. They were also able to provide decaf coffee on request. The room was a bit warm but we were able to open the wind to get some fresh air. Wifi works in the room but can be slow to connect. I looked in on the large fitness room and the pool and hot tub, though did not use any of these amenities. Overall, this was very good value for the money.

Clean, quiet, new hotel with excellent service. Particularly good value - only $125 a night all in during the busy June tourist season. Lots of good hiking opportunities in the area. On site restaurant.

We got an executive suite and worked well for a family of four with children age 3.5 years old. The beds were super comfy which is always a must. I wish we could have ordered movies but that's not a deal breaker. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and they were only doing a buffet. It was very underwhelming and made us not go back there for future meals. Would definitely stay at the hotel for future visits to Radium.

This is a lovely hotel in Radium Springs. We had never been there before, but once we got there you could see a lot of the hotels/motels look really run down. My wife made the comment that we picked the nicest looking affordable hotel in the area. The staff were very friendly and they have a nice restaurant in the hotel. We only had breakfast there but it was good. It is only a minute drive to the Hot Springs which was convenient as we went there a couple of times. This place also has a nice sized swimming pool and hot tub. Very good hotel and great value. Also pet friendly as we were allowed to keep our 2 dogs in the hotel room. Would stay again if we are ever in Radium again.

I really like this hotel, the staffs is nice and rooms very clean, non smoking. Good pool inside. Only problem is the restaurant, few options at breakfast and the price is overrated for the size. I didn't try lunch or dinner. Have good restaurants near.

The website on this hotel promises a full service Inn with amenities stretching down your arm. It delivers on half of them. There is no restaurant service during the day. It appears as though the owner is pulling back from offering service in order to save a few bucks in a failing concern. That is just an impression. Housekeeping supplies are stacked in the lobby. This place is not well run. Front staff try hard, though.

Love the view and Excellent Service and affordable price, location is very close to everything it was 20 mins drive to Fairmont, and about 5 mins to a Golf Course and Radium hot Spring. I would definitely will come back to same hotel and will probably stay more than 2 nights. We get to see mountain Goats in front of the hotel every night and they were harmless animal. I will definitely will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Hotel was ok/average, however the price I paid wasn't worth the stay. Pillows were very uncomfortable, really old kitchen supplies, its not bad if you can't any good quality hotels, since the location is pretty good for Radium/Invermere, the key is to book way in advance at a better hotel rather than stuck with something average at the end.

From the time we booked until the time we left the staff were excellent and value for the price was great. Our room was relatively quiet with easy access to the pool and fitness room area. It could use a bit of an upgrade however it was clean which is the main concern. An outside sitting area would have been nice but overall our stay was fine.

We enjoyed the hotel. It is almost out of place for its high degree of comfort/appearance/quality in such a small town. Its right down town near the hot springs and shopping. At busy times it could be a 2-3 minute walk to the front door from your parking spot. We thought the restaurant was overpriced, but the whole town is higher than what we expected.

We were travelling in a group of 7 people and shared 3 rooms, the hotel and staff were great. Had no problems. Clean room, friendly staff, and great location. The Italian restaurant had delicious food. The only thing, the drinks and food seemed a tad expensive, but then it is in BC.

The rooms at this hotel were very large and clean. Temperature control worked well and the amenities were excellent. The noise unfortunately was terrible with thin walls and loud people. Staff did not care about this

Ive stayed at a lot of places in Radium before. This was my first time here and I was very pleased. I wound the best deal on Best Westerns website. I will come back to this hotel for sure. It is a bit more money then a lot of others but I thought it was well worth it.

We booked a luxury room through the web. At 200+ we expected something better than a motel. At check in the receptionist forgot to give us the included breakfast vouchers. 'Luxury' meant a kitchenette in a corner of the room. Unfortunately the room was at parking level one floor lower than the reception. We asked to change for an upper floor. We were offered a room in which somebody smoked recently. An other change brought us to a standard room, facing north and a quite noisy road. The receptionist did not propose to adjust the price and we had to insist for it. We had to wait to be seated for breakfast. The eggs were not prepared as ordered and the toasts overdone. The rooms are large and decently decorated. The bedsheets were not ironed. The bathroom was clean.

The hotel is much newer and modern than most of the hotels in the Radium area. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The location is central to the Radium business district, so you are within walking distance of anything you need. I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in the Radium area.

The room where we stayed was clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a jacuzzi so thats a plus. Wifi was fast. Front reception was friendly and accommodating. The carpet in our room needs some cleaning though specially near the cooking area.

Stayed in a king suite for one night and it was really nice. the hotel was clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The room itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was also quiet and we had a great sleep. I also have to make a note here about the in hotel gym. I was very impressed with how good it was. most hotel gyms have a treadmill or two and maybe a universal machine if you're lucky. not the case here. The had various free weight machines, cable machines, smith machine, treadmills, a concept 2 rower, they even had a dumbbell rack with weights up to i think 90lbs and benches. it really was a fully equipped gym. Honestly if nothing else i would stay here again just for that.

We stayed overnight and were very impressed. They are a dog friendly hotel. Easy walking distance to Radium Hot springs pools.We are going back for another stay over the weekend the last of May. Approximately 3 hour drive from Calgary, Alberta.

We were greeted with the message that the elevator was out of order and we had a choice of level 2 or 3 with no one available to help with our bags. Since my husband cannot climb stairs we were aghast. The girl at reception finally got round to telling us that reception was actually on level 2 to our relief. The room was average but clean. I think they should drop the plus prestige from the name.

Wonderful hotel. Super staff from Marlis at the front desk to the friendly lounge barkeep from Leeds whose name I can't remember. Comfy bed and nice location with easy access to everything in Radium. The pool area was also very neat and orderly. We'll definitely be staying there again next time we're going through Radium.

This Best Western doesn't have the same great experience most Best Westerns do. Staff at desk not that good, broken hair blower, broken elevator (and staff laughed about it), and the restaurant isn't open late,

Radium was beautiful. We enjoyed our drive, and overnight stay. Unfortunately the hot pool was closed at the Springs. All the water was pumped into the Cool Pool. We enjoyed the atmosphere & that pool though. So it was still nice. The town was easy to get around too. And we enjoyed shopping at the local merchants.

While this location in Radium does not include breakfast the room and amenities are lovely. The walls are thin though if you have neighbours with loud voices. The staff is courteous at the front desk and in the lounge and restaurant. If you like a thinner pillow you may need to bring your own as the ones on the bed are quite thick. But all in all this is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful setting at Radium, BC.

By far the worst experience I have ever had in a best western. It's the little things. Like the jacuzzi tub drained water so low my toes stuck out and breakfast was not included. The lady at the front desk seemed less the concerned with making us happy. I have never stayed at a best beaters that did not included breakfast and she informed us only after waking up the next morning to eat that it was an extra cost. I spent more then enough on an extra nice room. I like to wake up and just go eat and not have to pay more. Also the restaurant server didn't know anything and constantly had to ask her coworker. She was very slow and took forever to even bring us drinks and it appeared as if she only had one other table. This has made me never want to stay in a best western again.

For the price of the hotel, it was great. The room was very clean, well decorated and modern. The restaurant was decent and the staff friendly. At night, it was a bit noisy in the hallway but that's a fact of life in a hotel.

I visited the hotel with the family and we got a suite with 1 king and 1 queen with a full kitchen! The suite is huge and can easily accommodate 6 if needed! The king bed is in a separate room, queen bed and pullout kitchen in main area, table with 4 chairs AND a full kitchen. It's full enough that we cooked a whole meal from scratch with 3 dishes! Staff was also very friendly. Our room was being cleaned at the time we arrive (early checkin) but the cleaning staff (JR?) was prompt and let us in immediately after cleaning. He even asked us if the rooms are up to our standard later on. Overall, it's a great value for amenities, location and its friendly staff!

My wife and I had some concerns about checking in because we had read some poor reviews on TripAdvisor. However, we were pleasantly surprised to stay in a clean, quiet and inexpensive room! The room (208) was very clean, large, quiet and had a comfortable bed (there are two queen beds but we only used one). The service at check in (February 27, 2016) was excellent. We would happily stay at this Best Western again and recommend it to others-you won't be disappointed.

We had read several reviews about the Best Western, some concerning. When we checked in we were given a key to check the room, which was very modern and spotless. We had a very pleasant night at the Best Western Plus and would stay there again. The only downside in winter is that there are very few places to eat with the hotel restaurant being well priced, but bland.

We went away for a long weekend in February and stayed in the Best Western in Radium. We booked the kitchen suite, which was very spacious an well equipped and very neat with all the basics that you would need for a quick meal. We also had the buffet breakfast twice at the restaurant, which was absolutely fantastic! Great service, great staff! Highly recommend !

Clean and big room, polite and helpful staff. Pool and fitness room are very relaxing. No breakfast included, too bad. but there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Parking lot too dark, should provide more lights.

The kitchen suite amenities are pretty good. Nice kitchen set up but no dishwasher. The cabinet were freshly stained and we could smell paint fume still... The bathroom is very nice, freshly renovated by the look of it. You can enjoy 2 large 40+ inches wall mount TV in the suite. I like the fancy Timex clock radio with sound effect for sleep aid: brooks, wages, etc... It was the first time I come accross such a clock radio in an hotel room. The pool area and hot tub is pretty nice. The training room is large with lots of equipment. The sound proofing is the downer. The doors, floor and ceiling transmit noises of all kind so you hope for good neighbours. We were not too badly surrounded except for the bunch of kids that wanted to use the pool at 7am Monday while their parents stayed in bed. That makes for lots of noise when the kids can't make it back in the room and knocks door like mad scientist. They also knock the wrong door once in a while. I would suggest to open the pool at 8:30 (ILO 7) to keep the noise down in the place.

My husband and I stayed here for a one night couples retreat from the big city. The service was excellent, room was clean and well maintained. Our room wasn't much for the cost, but the view was spectacular and there wasn't much street noise because we were on the back of the hotel. The restaurant had great service and good food/prices. My only complaint would be the noise. We could hear the television on one wall late into the night, banging on the other wall, and the group of young people across the hall who had a party until after 2 a.m. There was a door near us that shook our unit every time someone used it, so as soon as people started leaving, we were up. We got less than 4 hours of sleep and went home to our quiet beds for a nap. It wasn't much of a quiet getaway, and I don't expect we will be staying here again.

First of all let me start by saying that the room was clean (which is my number one priority) and the staff friendly and efficient. The onsite restaurant was okay though nothing special. My sleep was decent though the pillows could be better and the bathroom is somewhat poorly lit.

We came here to see the hot springs and it was getting late so we decided to stay here. Sure glad we we did. The place is amazing. Prices are great. The front desk service is top notch as well as the manager who also helped. Same with the restaurant it was amazing. The rooms were perfect. Clean and the beds were super comfy. I will come back here and highly recommend this to my friends.

Good place to stay for several days rest and relaxing. Hotel is beside road to Canfor so lots of semi traffic. Not too noisy, but noisy enough. Food in the restaurant is great. Cabina pizza was a favourite.

Good experience, clean and good rooms. Breakfast not included, but breakfast buffet in the Restaurant good. Indoor swimming pool and Hot Tub. Very central, and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Made the booking online and arrived for a late checkin. Everything went smoothly. Room was clean. Everything worked. Completely standard room for a new "country" chain hotel. WiFi was fast and worked flawlessly. Close to everything (of what there is in Radium). Very close to the Hot Springs. An easy run to Invemere. On-property restaurant was "ok". Uninspired, but edible food.

We had a great stay in Radium at the Best Western, comfortable room and the restaurant and pub were great. The hotel employees gave us good information on things to do, we enjoyed seeing the wildlife and checked out the stations of the cross walk. And as always the hot springs was there to ease our aches and pains.

We stayed here over New Years for our anniversary and the staff was amazing! So welcoming and made us feel very special. And the New Years party was fantastic at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again The only thing is we wouldn't eat at the restaurant attached again. It was pretty sub par. Otherwise fantastic

We booked here for over New Years and we're thrilled with the suite we booked. It was very spacious on the third floor at the end of the hall which made it pretty quiet seeing the elevator was at the other end. The only thing we occasionally heard was the ice machine. This suite had a full kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, dishes etc). It was nice to make a hot breakfast in our room in the mornings, I'm sure people could smell our maple bacon both days!

The Best Western Prestige Inn at Radium Hot Springs is a great place to stay a night. We stayed in a pet friendly room. We had a cushion for the dog and also they had left pet bowls in the room. It was a fair sized rom with two queen sized beds. We had a great view of the mountains outside. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The night manger was very helpful when we had to take dog outside at night. There was also a great hot tub and pool.

This is a nice looking and clean property and up to the Best Western Plus level but that is it. At this particular hotel if they tell you they have the complimentary breakfast, that all other Best Western Plus hotels I have been to lately do, it is not true you will just being paying more for your room to accommodate breakfast. I travel a lot and for the past couple of months I have been comparing Best Westerns. In this review I will point out some issues and then go on to explain why this happened and how it can be solved for future guests. No matter where I stay I expect cleanliness and comfort but what actually makes a hotel something to return to or recommend is it's service. Hotels are in the hospitality industry and the most important thing all of the staff need to focus on is Service and at this property the Front desk staff where lacking terribly in these skills. When we arrived the staff were not friendly at all. They got the basic paperwork done and had me on my way down the hall without any greeting or conversation about our stay or even information about the hotel such as parking, eating, pool hours or area attractions. We headed to our nicely decorated and clean room to find a very strong odour of diesel or oil in our room. I noted that the parking lot was outside our window so made sure the windows were closed and turned on the bathroom fan while we went out to eat. When we returned the smell was just as strong which confirmed my suspicion that the smell was not coming from the parking lot but was probably in the carpet or something like that and that sort of smell is very hard to get out. I nicely approached the front desk to ask to be changed to a different room as the odour was just too strong for us. The staff very rudely with some sort of chip on their shoulder, told me that "it was from the parking lot and they were sold out so no rooms were available". I knew that was not true and advised them that we had not unpacked, had done what we could to get rid of the smell ourselves and now we wanted a different room. She sent me back to my room to wait for housekeeping??? When the housekeeping staff came he checked the windows and offered to spray air freshener for me. I declined and told him I wanted to change rooms. He made a phone call, spoke a different language in front of us, and then asked me to check out a room 2 doors down. It was great! Not a bit of odour. So I thanked him and moved in immediately where we had a comfortable night. If a hotel has problems with odour from the parking lot they need to do something about it not just tell guests "oh well". As well never speak a different language in front of guests as they know you are just saying things you don't want them to hear. It is disrespectful and rude once again. Now I will explain why this happened to help owners/managers change their policies and train their staff and to help those of you booking. Hotels put their rooms on third party sites like expedia or travelocity for lower rates, but they don't like it when people book through these sites because they don't get the commission. So they are sure to give these customers the worst room in the building when they check in. They would deny this to your face but it is very true. Therefore when I am looking for a room I do look at these sites and then I call the hotel directly to book with them so that their staff can have the commission on the sale instead of the third party site. I do ask if they will match the third party rate. In this instance the front desk staff refused and the difference would have been $40-$50/night. So I booked through the third party. Now when we arrived they were ticked off because they had not got a commission and proceeded to treat us as poorly as they could to make a point. So here is the point they made. A few dollars of commission on a 1 night stay has made it so that we will not be a return customer and we will be sure to tell everyone of your poor service. The idea of putting rooms on a third party site is to bring a customer in then wow them with your service and facilities so that they will love it so much that they will return and pay the full rate and tell everyone else how great your place is. The staff here failed, failed, failed! Owners/managers this room was going to sell for the discounted price anyways why not let your staff meet the third party rates for first time guests and then take the opportunity to wow them. If you don't want your rooms sold for a discounted rate then don't put them on third party sites, but under no circumstances should your staff be rude or unaccommodating to any guest. Rudeness and lying are not acceptable and your guests are not stupid. So make sure they are happy and comfortable and get in there and get the odour out of that room.

Best Western Radium, is a nice, clean, great location motel. close to Radium Hot Springs, * Radium Hot springs is 1/2 price of Fairmont hotsprings, which is also an easy drive to the south of the motel (30 min maybe) watched wildlife eating grass from window of room.

Friendly Staff. Adequate Room. Hot Shower. What you would expect from Best Western. Radium is a small village and as such, everything is fairly close-by and walking distance. Conveniently located for highway access.

Beds were great - very comfortable. It was nice to see that when we booked the queen/king bed 1 bedroom suite there were actually a king and a queen bed. You usually find the queen bed is a pullout couch, but in this room there was a queen bed as well as a pullout bed in the living room so that was nice. It was a very comfortable suite with a full kitchen. It was like staying in somebody's apartment. It's not the first time we've stayed here and we will definitely stay again. Also the attached restaurant has good food, and coloring for the kids to keep busy while they wait for their food. And I'd also like to add that I forgot to bring shampoo, which is always a scarey thought to use hotel shampoo as it usually turns your hair to straw and a frizzy mess. However my hair was actually soft and easy to brush after using the shampoo and conditioner that they supply - so that was a bonus.

Stayed at this property at the end of October. Nice clean, updated and comfortable rooms. Great front desk staff. Had a really bad meal in the Italian Restaurant on site. Aside that the meal was overpriced and we had to wait for it for more that 45 minutes my meal came with a beef vegetable soup which I'm sure came straight out of a can, was cold and was so salty that I was not able to eat it. My main course meal veggies were burned ( grilled broccoli and red peppers). I have never had grilled broccoli! The pasta had a white sauce that was uneatable. My husband meal was as bad as mine. The waitress kept passing by trying to sell us more beverages after we told here a few times no thank you. Next mentioned about our experience the front desk staff and was told "I'm sorry". I will stay at this hotel again but will never eat at their restaurant again. Next morning we had a great meal at the restaurant next door The Melting Pot!!! excellent breakfast and service.

The family suite was nice with 1 double, 1 king in a separate bedroom with a spa tub that we didn't use and 1 uncomfortable pull out couch and a kitchenette. The hotel is clean and new. There is no breakfast only a coffee/ tea service in the lobby. The grocery store was within walking distance and they have many take out/ easy to prepare food items and make the most delicious bacon cheesy twist buns daily. You can walk to several restaurants. We didn't use the pool as we went to the hot springs. For the Hot Springs be sure to take towels and pool slippers. Our group of 6 was $38 and well worth it. The cooler pool is still very warm. Overall we had a wonderful visit. The mountain goats were a delightful experience as well.

very clean..staff is very helpful..accessible to everywhere u want to go!! and another perks is they have indoor swimming pool which is good.. and very close to radium hotspring too. 10 mins drive to inveremere and 20 mins to fairmont..

This hotel is beside a beautiful rotary park, with a stunning view of mountains and valleys. It is also close to restaurants. The staff is friendly, our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The internet was strong and we had no problems using it. They are also close to radium springs spa. We felt that we got good value for our money. We would definitely stay again

Entertainment was awesome. Service was poor, as was food and price at the bistro. I was told though that the rooms are nice and clean. I have not stayed here as a guest in a room so could not give an hands on review of rooms. If the source who told me rooms were very nice etc, then they were.

We stayed at the hotel while we were visiting Radium Hot Springs. The hotel was clean and conveniently located. We were able to walk around the town where large sheep wander freely. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We only had breakfast there which was fine but nothing special.

well located for Radium Hot Springs attractions - 5 minutes from the hot springs (by car) Clean and well presented hotel - usual 'neutral' decor in corridors Reception staff member on check in was very ' matter of fact' and obviously needs to go on a ' cheer up and charisma course'! When asked if there was any ordinary orange pekoe tea available she simply said ' there is whatevers there'. made no attempt to obtain any or offer alternatives. nearly smiled at one point! asked me for photo ID on check in, when I was unable to provide any, she simply said 'ok thats fine then'! so if its fine, why ask for it in the first place?? also asked for a visa card for 'room deposit'. I don't have a visa card, so needed to use my wifes. I asked ' what if I didn't have one?' ;was told ' I would have to take $100 cash room deposit then'. WHY? she said it was for incidentals...There are no 'in room' facilities to pay for!!!!!!! I definitely think this is a 'computer says it policy' which some staff are unable to get round with common sense. why oh why do hotels charging rates like these still insist on only providing paper cups and plastic stirrers in the rooms? surely its not beyond the realms of capability to provide cups or mugs and spoons to clients? its a hotel room at $140, not a fast food joint!! Having said all this I am sure this is a one off for BW - have used there hotels in UK, Canada and USA for years with usually no complaints

Our experience at Best Western Radium was very good. Would definitely recommend this facility. Only thing we would change is we would probably bring our own pillows if we're on a road trip as the pillows here are bulky and quite hard. We asked for assistance with flat pillows but were told there was no flat pillows available. The restaurant was good, a little slow in peak times but on vacation that's acceptable.

There are lots of mom & pop motels in town that I don't think showed up on the internet search, but we'll try those next time. They all had vacancies during the week in late Sept. & early Oct. The owners wasted a lot of money making the nicest looking chain motel room I've ever seen, but they gave not a thought to guest comfort. Really too bad so much money was wasted on the look of the room, but it is not a nice place to stay. Clean, with good mattress & pillows, and manager was nice, so I generously gave them a two, but that's where the good qualities end.. Extremely noisy doors, among the worst I've ever heard. You hear lots of doors near and far banging loud enough to make you jump even when you aren't trying to sleep. No good gasket system to dampen the sound, and the latching mechanism is extremely loud too. The door also doesn't block much noise from the hallway, you hear people talking almost like the door isn't there. You also hear neighbors wheeling their suitcases across the noisy rough tile entryway in their rooms. Yes, tile, instead of carpet that would dampen a bit of the sound. They don't use fitted sheets so they would come untucked within a few minutes leaving you touching the unwashed mattress or mattress pad, except they don't even last a few minutes because the sheets are so small they aren't tucked in over the ends to start with, they go maybe two inches over the ends. What happens if you lie on your stomach with your toes over the edge? I guess you get to pick-up athlete's foot or toe fungus from a previous guest when your toes touch the dirty mattress. And it had the worst toilet ever! When we first flushed it, even with just liquid, it didn't flush stuff down well at all. And it is so tiny a man can't possibly use it in a normal manner, you have to hold onto your junk to try to keep it from touching the inside of the toilet, and there is no room to go #1 & # 2 at the same time, you have to shift things around--very rude to expect guests to use one of these, even smaller than a regular round bowl toilet. But it gets worse, even holding my junk up high, I thought, I flushed and found my sack immersed in icky toilet water, not splashed, but immersed, the water rises very high before it flushes down. Good thing I was about to get in the shower, but gross. All the money they wasted on stupid fancy design features and they can't spend $10 more for a decent toilet? And then there's the sink. One of those weird bowls that sits on top of the counter, and this is the highest I've seen. Maybe 10-12" above the counter. That leaves almost no room to move my hands & wrists when washing my face, etc. And I'm taller than average. Even harder for my wife to use. Painful to the wrists. The shower head was great, except it was so high my wife had to stand on tip-toes in the shower and then could just barely move it. Very dangerous. The pipe came out of the wall at a decent height but they had a curved piece added, a design feature I guess, that moved the head up higher. And the AC didn't work. I had the window open until the construction worker guests started coming back and smoking in the parking lot. When I closed it the room temp was ok for awhile so I didn't notice the AC wouldn't come on until it got stuffy a few hours later. I tried every possible way to get it to turn on, even unplugged it for awhile to reset. I wasn't going to change rooms late at night because I thought we'd lose more sleep by doing that, so fortunately the road noise wasn't too bad late at night and I could open the window and turn on the bathroom fan to pull in a little cool air. I thought the "Plus" designation might mean something when I made the reservation, but this is the 5th Best Western in a row, the last 2 having the "Plus" designation, that has had serious problems of different types so I guess the chain just doesn't do much to insure the franchisees follow good standards.
