Best Western Prineville Inn

We only stay at BW when traveling. This time we were hosting friends from out of town. Rooms were nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Beds... ROCK HARD. HORRIBLE! Last time we stayed it was in the Annex building. Never again. Was hoping to have a better bed in the main hotel. Not so much. I slept on love seat & wife slept the second night on additional pillows we brought and BW added three more pillows as requested. Many guests complained in the breakfast room about the hard beds. Poor sleep by all. Heavy dust under beds! Please replace the beds or put toppers on them. Would get 4-5 stars for better sleep quality.

2 things happened that made our stay miserable at this hotel in Prineville. We were really looking forward to our stay initially. Prineville itself is a great area to visit and the people are very friendly. I have allergies to dust and among other things- cobwebs. In the night I had a strong allergic reaction. So bad I couldn't sleep. In the morning I had a look around. There were multiple strands from cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling! Also, on the top edge of mirrors and picture frames was a layer of dust. I actually took pictures of the numerous cobwebs. Secondly, our door was not square in the doorframe, you could see into the hallway along the bottom half.. Not a big deal I guess except that any noises from the hall were easily heard. And just our luck! It was a noisy area near the exit area. So, in spite of the staff being great, we won't be staying there again unless Best Western can show us cleaner rooms.

We were given a (dark) room in a separate (second) building, not the main part of the motel. The walls were paper thin! The bathroom light is a light/fan combo, so you only get light with a loud fan. We could hear the light/fans and waterworks in the rooms next to us and above us. At 5 AM this was frustrating as we wanted to sleep in. There is a breakfast room, but weekdays it is open only until 9 AM. For a Best Western, this place did not meet expectations. I would hope that staying in the main part of the hotel it would be quieter - but you might want to check out the available rooms before checking in.

From the time of arrival to checkout all staff were very welcoming and provided great customer service. They made sure you had everything that you needed. Hotel was kept in tip top shape. Very clean. Would definitely come back to stay!

Room smelled terrible. I showered in the morning, checked out of the room and still smelled like the room. It was awful. The room was also FREEZING. I've stayed here before and didn't have this issue but never again.

Good family hotel with indoor pool. Lots of families with small children were enjoying the water when we arrived. Our room was a walk up to the second floor. It was in good condition and clean with two queen beds. Staff seemed friendly and helpful.

I was in Prineville for the annual horse races and was not expecting a small town to have such a nice hotel! The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and very nice. They had a very welcoming lobby and the breakfast was very good.

Very nice BW hotel. Great free breakfast, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Comfortable beds and lots of room in the King Suite. We always stay here when we are visiting family or for the rodeo and cattle drive.

Great Place to stay in a Great little town. They have a great breakfast and hotel is located in a great location and rooms are clean. I have stayed here many times to attend rodeos at the crooked county fairgrounds.

Hotel was very good overall. walking distance to several places to eat and drink, grocery store next door. Hotel has a laundry room for guest , only one washer one dryer , but it works ! Pool looked nice did not use though.

This place is nice clean cozy but quaint and not over done. Centrally located. The pool and hot tub are nice and the breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. Feels safe. I loved the yuletide decor and the year round art and furniture is nice too in the lobby.

No elevator so if you don't want to take all of your belongings up the stairs, ask for a first floor room. Other than that, it was great! We were in town visiting relatives, and the location was perfect!

The service was great. The variety of foos for breakfast was exceptional. Had options for the whole family. The room was a good size and the pillows were great. For the price we had a great stay for a last minute check in.

Whenever I visit the Prineville area to see family, I always stay at this hotel. The service is good, the rooms are nice, and there is a restaurant right next-door. The continental breakfast is good as well.

Prineville is a great location for visiting some beautiful spots, and this Best Western was a clean, comfortable, convenient spot to do it from. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The internet was strong, and the breakfast selections were varied. The cooked food tasted fresh. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Very clean facility with very professional and polite staff and great location. A good selection for hot or cold breakfast. The pool and hot tub area is very clean and very well maintained also. There's also parking for larger vehicles.

You have to realize this isn't a $300 a night hotel. This is on the cheaper side and for the price I have absolutely no complaints! Check in was seamless, the front desk staff were very friendly, the lobby is nice. Once we got to our room in their second building we were pleased with it. It was clean and in good condition. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was clean and worked well, there was a nice sized mini fridge, the AC worked great, and there were no major signs of wear and tear in the room, which was nice. We couldn't hear anything from the neighboring rooms, we could hear people in the hallway but that is to be expected. The continental breakfast was basic yet nicer than some of the other Best Westerns I have stayed at (I'm looking at you Sun Valley BW!). In response to the review left why the last person... that is a restaurant next-door, not a bar.

As we parked in the lot to check in, three people in the outside area at the bar next door where arguing about whether one of them was beating the other on a regular basis. This restaurant has a reciprocal parking relationship with the hotel. Also provides a 10% discount to hotel sleepers. 10% isn't worth the risk. We entered through the back entry door. The key card entry device was broken out and there is absolutely no security to enter. Upon entering, the scent of bad cleaning solution, dirty carpet and ciggs are overwhelming in the hallway. Our room was a big disappointment for the price (over $140). Stained (??) chair fabric, dirty sink, exposed lamp wiring, outdated everything else. The only improvement was new floors in the bathroom and a decent tub. There are a lot of people who just hang around the parking lot. Some of them appear to like to argue and threaten each other. We had one couple right outside of our window argue for two hours straight. We checked out a day early and will never come back. I'd rather pitch a tent and camp. The one bright spot are the employees. Considering how little the owners of the motel have spend on making this place better, the two female employees had very good attitudes and good customer service. The owner is lucky to have them. They are the only reason I rated this Poor instead of Terrible.

The rooms have been recently remodeled in a few regards. Loved the flooring and bathroom. The bed was very comfy with a good pillow selection. Love seat was great for reading. Nice to ha e a good sized mini fridge.

Worst treatment ever at a hotel, non-existent customer service. I cannot recommend enough for you to NOT stay here. My wife booked this room 2 months in advance for a 3 night stay, largely based on the photo showing a jacuzzi tub on their website, (manager accused of lying about this). The rate was higher than the other available rooms. Upon arrival there was no jacuzzi. The front desk gal was fairly rude, but gave us the option to get out of the reservation. She said they hadn't had jacuzzi tubs for months. She also said there was no manager available. My wife spent hours on the phone with Best Western guest relations. Unfortunately all they could help with this location. It was escalated and they were going to call the owner/manager. We spent the night in the room which was not what we reserved The next morning we tried to discuss with the manager. A guy came from the back, maybe a manager, but never identified himself. We tried to show him the photo from the website, but he said that it could have been "floating around on the internet" for a long time. Rather than being willing to discuss the issue, or treat us respectfully, he said he was done and told us to leave. They proceeded to check us out, against our will. He then told someone to call the cops. The cops did pull up as we were pulling away. We had earlier asked for the owner's name and number, but the manager said that the "owners don't work here." As they were kicking us out and calling the cops on us, a guy came out of the office and said he was the owner. One of these people was not being honest. The management of this hotel had the opportunity to go above and beyond and actually satisfy a guest. Instead they choose to do the exact opposite.

We only stayed one night, the front desk clerk was very good, our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel room doors are loud when they close, but other than that it was quiet. We were on the second floor. I don't think there is an elevator.

Stay away from Jen.Insulting,nasty attitude.Was demeaning and non accommodating. Room had bad odor,toilet loose from wall,bed was worn out with one side lower than another. I expect more from Best Western as I travel 40 plus night a year.

Great hotel, close to restaurants, shops and park. If you want to get exercise combined with pleasure, leave your car behind. We walked to "Dillon's Grill" and back, a 2- mile walk, along the park. Great rooms, quiet, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Pool and Exercise room are available, I personally didn't use them due to lack of time on my end.

Such a nice stay for a small town. Our room was very clean, and when We had an issue with our TV they were quick to get in and fix the issue. They also had free breakfast included which really helped us save money on our overall trip. The pool they had within their hotel was amazing and very clean. They even offered fresh poolside towels. I wish they had a gym, however overall it was a great experience, and I would book with them again!

They advertised our room as a suite and charged over 200, it was like an afterthought hallway turned into a suite…so bad!!!! The ‘rag' rugs on the floor were disgusting, sticky with dirt. The towels were worn to the core. Such a sad place to stay.

This BW is located in a good area close to shopping and good restaurants (Club Pioneer for great steaks). The hotel was clean and parking accessible. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool but it looked inviting !

Absolutely loved our stay unfortunately you can hear people on the top floor if you're on the bottom floor. But it made up for it by the absolute best staff!!! The pool was very nice clean, and breakfast in the morning was amazing the biscuits and gravy tasted homemade. Will be returning for a stay.

I didn't expect much for the low price, but this managed to not even meet the bar Bathroom fan didn't work, which isn't a good idea when four people are sharing. Beds had no blankets, only sheets. Had to leave the heater running all night long.

By far this location in Prineville , OR is truly. Awesome, the staff are very kinda and loving and pay very close attention to detail. I really wish that other locations would follow these professionals and take notes. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We like staying at Best Western Motels because the price is resonable and there aren't any surprises. Sometimes you get the same floor layout. We like supporting local business and that is what we think we get at Best Western.

We enjoyed our stay of one night very much. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Our room was clean and quiet and the breakfast in the morning was unexpectedly good. Eggs bacon potatoes gravy as well as toast cereal and other things. The coffee was hot. We'll stay again.

the hotel is just outside of the town center, next to a mall with supermarket and Rite Aid. Staff would finish check in transactions for you, but seems lack some human touch -- when you walked by later to get to breakfast or get coffee, they would not greet you or even acknowledge your walk by, but kept busy with casual talk with friends, unlike hotels in other small towns. A town with 10K population could be that different? Breakfast from 6 to 9, finish a bit earlier for tourists. All the egg stuff were cracked by stores then shipped to hotel, not tasted good.

We were given the last room available which was a suite. It is on the ground floor with an outside entrance. We've never been disappointed with Best Western. We stayed just one night so we could be fresh when we started our tour of the John Day Fossil Beds

I was less than impressed to be unable to get the table lamp to work (the staff has FAILED to inform us that the switch at the entry turned it on???) and couldn't CALL the office because the phone didn't work??? Giving up and moving on we went to get some ice for a MUCH needed cold beverage only to find the Ice Machine didn't work?? Add to the fact that there was a lack of breakfast fruit, you could only get warm bread as opposed to real toast I was dismayed to find the ONLY choice for “milk” was SOY and it wasn't even COLD?? Not impressed!

I stayed here for 4 days, the staff is friendly and the amenities are good. I was very surprised by the bedding, it was very comfortable, especially the pillows. The morning breakfast was very good and the woman who was working it was awesome.

Great spot right on the edge of downtown. Very nice looking, and clean hotel. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rates are worth what we got. This is my 3rd time staying here. Given the choice I'll always stay here when visiting Prineville

Arrived after 5pm. Friendly front desk staff welcomed us. Nice indoor pool, we slept great, then had a good breakfast the next morning before spending the day fly fishing the Crooked River just north of town.

We needed a last minute hotel room. We had been staying at another hotel but decided we needed to stay one more night. The best western was all that had an availability. It was pretty expensive for one night but it was a very nice room and very clean. Lots of amenities available. I would stay again when it wasn't last minute and a rodeo weekend and it wouldn't be quite as expensive. The staff was great! Very helpful and very very nice.

The reception employee was nice and friendly. The rooms were super clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was a hot breakfast which was welcoming as it was cold. Check out was super easy as we just dropped of the keys and left.

The hotel was very nice, however I felt the price was a bit high. If I need a place to stay in Prineville again, I would probably stay there. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The front desk was very nice about changing our room to be near other family members.

On our 2nd night at 6 pm the stampede started and didn't end till almost 9 pm. Call front desk and they said the would take care of it. Well next thing I know the person making the noise is at my door and started confrontation. After argument, I called front desk and asked for refund and we left. Call manager Monday and she said she would have to ask the person above me what happened because staff did not write up a report like I asked them to do. Well it's been a week and have not gotten a refund or a call from anyone. Customer service is not a part of this managers daily routine.

I haven't stayed at a hotel since the Covid pandemic started, but I read the guidelines BW follows at their hotels. So I booked 2 nights for our 11th wedding anniversary. Upon checkin, the desk clerk kept pulling and touching her mask which was below her nose. When other guests entered the hotel without masks, no mention of that was given by staff, even though there was a sign on the door! When we entered the room, I was surprised to see decorative pillows on the bed, which was noted in the Covid guidelines of BW not to be there. We sanitized the room ourselves. Around 11 pm, there was a large, explosive sound probably someone taking a shower that lasted 15 minutes, couldn't even hear the TV! Good thing I wasn't asleep but sleep was difficult since the bed was like sleeping on a board. A new front desk clerk didn't have her mask on until she saw me. Multiple guests walked around inside without masks. Good thing I'm fully vaccinated. In summary, what's the point of listing guidelines to follow and not follow them. I would not have stayed there. That county in Oregon is Extreme High Risk for Covid, probably due to the fact most don't believe in masks or that the virus is real.

We stay here twice a year for a week or two with our grandchildren. The breakfast staff is very accommodating and there was a full breakfast despite covid. The pool is an added plus. The hotel is close to downtown and walking trails.

Again, it was ok. We have learned Best Western is not always the same like McDonald's are always the same. I think the price is higher than it should be for the grade of the property and breakfast. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Our room had sooo many Cobb webs. Apparently they need time to catch up after opening bc of Covid.

We specifically made the choice of Best Western in Prineville because as advertised on Hotels.com (through United Airlines App) it was pet-friendly. Upon checkout, I was told this property is NOT pet-friendly and was promptly scolded for having a pet. I was threatened with a charge of $200.00 for having my pet, even though I specifically said I had a pet when making the reservation at the property directly. There were pets in other rooms and there is even a pet area on the property. I was made to feel as a 5 year old who had fibbed to his Mom. ⸫ Therefore, I will not stay with this Best Western again. I will drive further and pay more, to return to the Marriott and IHG lodging choices of which I have been a loyal member for years. I will also encourage people to follow my lead. SELF RESPECT IS ALWAYS WORTH A FEW DOLLARS MORE! Customers shouldn't be made to feel guilty. Hotels thrive because we are made to feel special, not bad.

pleased with the comfort of the bed, staff was outstanding, and loved the pool/spa. grandkids came to swim with us. very enjoyable for all to make priceless memories together. only real negative was the "paper sack breakfast"

Have a funeral to attend. Great place to stay. Great location. Restaurant in parking lot, was a big help with all the snow. We walked over and got our food, went back to our room and ate our dinner. Very enjoyable.

Every visit has been a great experience, always welcomed with smiles. The staff is always helpful, no matter how many times I'm asking for things they've been there to help with any requests we needed.

We went to a class reunion in this small town and chose Best Western because of the usual standards. On entering our room the smell of room spray was over whelming so we turned the fan on and went to dinner. When we got back we I went to bed and just couldnt stand the odor. I tried to settle but when my husband got into bed his clothing absorbed cold wet urine from the mattress. He pulled up the sheet to find a huge urine stain and a soaked mattress. We called the manager and she was overwhelmed by the smell and was shocked when she saw the mattress. They moved us to another room. The very next morning they rerented the same room #205 to our friend who was staying there for the same reunion. When she told me they assigned her room 205 I related my experience from the previous night and we went to the room only to find they had not changed the mattress. IT WAS STILL DAMP AND STINKY. they deliberately rented the room knowing it was not sanitary and certainly not safe. We had to dispose of our night clothes and take showers to get the body fluids off our skin. We asked the manager to not charge us for the first night as we had to disrupt our stay for unsafe reasons that they knew about, and, after that experience we were not able to sleep that night because we feared being in contact with the bodily fluids from the other mattress. Sadly We were charged for both nights. Our friend was charged for her room as well, even though they knowingly rented an unsafe room. We have notified Best Western as well as an Omsbudsman for the Hotel Association.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, and family friendly. Every employee I saw had a smile on their face. Pool a little on the cold side, but kids still loved the opportunity to have fun. No carpet in room which is perfectly fine with me. Fluffy pillows and comfortable beds.

very nice I look at all the people were wonderful the prices were right to get exactly what I wanted them to do I did exactly what they wanted me to do breakfast was great it was he was wonderful I would definitely go back there again and I will tell everybody that I know about it

Front desk agent was not friendly. Did not explain accommodations or smile. When I went to her with an issue she questioned my credibility, did not apologize, and did not seem to care. My impression from herself and management is that they care more about being right than ensuring customers are satisfied. I have never been anywhere that has made me feel bad for being unsatisfied with an experience. The room smelled, there was a stain on the carpet, the carpet seemed old, and there was a stain on a towel in the bathroom. Due to my experience I will not return to this or any BW location.

The room advertised a jetted tub in both the amenities list and in the photo. Upon arrival there was no jetted tub in the room. When I spoke to the front desk they said, "Oh we've been asking them to take down the photo for forever. We have rooms with jetted tubs but none in the room like the picture" When I asked if we could be moved to a room that at least has a jetted tub they said they were sold out. That was the ONLY reason we booked this hotel was for the jetted tub. Extremely disappointed and got no compensation for the blatant false advertising. There were also brown liquid stains on the wall behind the bed, some kind of dirty bandage or tape material on the ground and a brown stain on the washcloth in the bathroom. All around a total disappointment.

We stayed here in room 118 on 6/20 and 6/21/20. The property looks very nice from the outside and has plenty of parking. Room 118 was good sized, clean quiet and comfortable. The beds were good and there were full sized pillows. The internet was fine for email and web surfing. There is a fridge (no freezer), and the sink is in the bathroom. The hotel is one of the closest ones to the Painted Hills unit of John Day (about an hour drive). The Apple Peddler restaurant is next door about a 100 ft walk. Breakfast was modified due to covid 19, no eggs or waffles but sausage, biscuits, some fruit. Typical of a BW breakfast. The people serving the breakfast did wear masks. We would stay here again. Covid 19 protection There were limited covid precautions. The front desk did not wear masks and did not have any plexiglass barriers. There is a large hand sanitizer bottle in the lobby, very few guests wore masks, the pool was open and there was no social distancing, breakfast had ladies serving you and they did wear masks and there was some spacing of the tables. If covid 19 is a big concern, I'd suggest using this hotel after the pandemic.

The staff from time of booking thru check out were friendly, professional and welcoming. The room was perfect for our needs. We appreciated being able to stay with our dog. Easy parking and handy location in Prineville ample parking.

Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Clean, comfortable beds, great staff. This was during the initial COVID-19 concerns and the hotel was very clean and the organization of the buffet as such that it made you feel comfortable during trying times.

This hotel is clean and easy to find. It has a beautiful pool and a nice morning breakfast. It has one washing machine and one dryer which is tricky to find not in use but there is a laundry mat in town too. There is a restaurant next door and plenty of nice places to eat in the area. Our room was cleaned nicely everyday and the room attendants were very sweet. This is the nicest hotel here in Prineville. You won't be sorry you stayed here. :)

WE LIKED THE STAFF they were very FRIENDLY & Accommodating, Morning breakfast was good , AS WAS the pool IT was fun, We would stay there again, when in the area again BUT would really like them put in NEW CARPET - PAINT INSIDE , ALL NEW MATTRESS AND FINALLY RE BLACK TOP & STRIPE THE PARKING LOT IT COULD BE SO NICE AGAIN IF THEY PUT A FEW MORE DOLLARS IN TO IT we liked are stay but it could of been nice feeling..

This hotel is so beautifully decorated and gives you the feeling of being home! From the front desk, to the housekeeper and breakfast lady - everyone makes you feel comfortable and at home. We hope to stay here again!

Booked the room 5 minutes before showing up and they were already prepared and waiting for me, was pleasantly surprised! They even have microwaves and refrigerators in their rooms, which was a pleasant surprise!!! Hard to find these days...

We enjoyed the hot breakfast and quiet setting. Our grandchildren loved the pool. The staff is very accommodating and patient with the children. We stay here twice a year and are never disappointed. We will be back.

Friendly staff clean room. Rooms more inviting with a bit of air freshener was a bit musty- pool and hothub hours were great. Overall nice hotel. Would stay again front staff polite and helpful. Local Value hotel with nice accommodations.

The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. All team members were polite , and helpful. The breakfast and coffee were good. Did have multiple problems with card key, Great location, will be re visiting this property.

Exterior and lobby were fine. The room was old and tired. There was a dirty wash rag in the bathroom. There was a jetted tub that was stained - perhaps a bleach mixture would clean it. The tub was convex - the pump was beneath. There was no grab bar in the tub and the tub was awkward to get in and out of. The tub surface tended to be slippery. Without a grab bar this makes it a hazard.

My stay here was great clean room excellent service from front desk staff I cant wait to return for my next visit. Plenty of food options for such a small town. I made new friends that I can't wait to see again

The service was great, Front desk girls were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. The breakfast had choices from cold cereals to hot dishes, something for everyone plus it was good. Overall a good experience.

Our stay was because we are building a home there and wanted something close to our property. BW offered great service, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable beds. We have stayed here several times and keep coming back. We will certainly recommend BW for others!

There exist few options in Prineville and I prefer Best Western when options are limited. The rooms are clean but the walls are thin. We could hear little feet in the room above us but overall the hotel met our needs.

Overall your typical Best Western. Breakfast is included with your stay, which is always a bonus!!! One feature we loved (sorry kids) but the pool is open 24hrs!!! Kids are aloud until 10pm and after that its adults only. Our biggest beef was with the dishes, cutlery and cups - plastic or paper. Drives us nuts in this day and age. The cost of proper cutlery, plates and cups wouldn't be that much more and it would sure satisfy your clientele. We've been hearing a lot more people state the same while having breakfast. We've started to actually carry our own glasses when we travel - just because.

An older roadside motel with an annex. Easy to find. Lots of parking. Clean and quiet. Nice and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good. Some remodeling, but the mattresses on the ground floor in the annex were worn out. The front desk said they get lots of regulars here during the week and it appears that the mattress has seen better days. Not bad for a night or two. Nothing fancy.

Not the best Best Western but quiet, clean, great free breakfast. Place was clean and the staff adequate. I am an Elite Member of their club and I am spoiled by the Vest Western Plus Hotels. This hotel was better then most small town hotels. Prineville is convenient to see Sheep Rock, Painted Hills, and Smith Rock. These are some of the best sights im Central Oregon.

This hotel was very clean, pool and hot tub open 24 hours and the room we had included a jet tub, which was heavenly! This town is a small town that was very quaint, but had great hospitality. Worth stopping at instead of Bend, Or.

Older building, 2-floors, no elevator, no luggage cart anywhere to be found, people were not friendly @ all. @ checkout they three that was @ the desk were to busy talking about some meeting/inspection to as how my stay was. Not to worry "will not stay again". Pros: Nice room but hardwood floors, chair, table, micro, fridge, coffee, hairdryer, nice pillows, had pool. Bed was so-so Cons: no carpet, towels & wash cloths were rough, no elevator, fridge didn't get cold the whole time(lady @ desk had 2 come in & turn on soon as we checked in, she said they have some cleaning peeps that turn them off), really why turn them off, it take quite a long time to cool. TELL THEM TO LEAVE THEM ON.

Hotel was nicely decorated rooms were clean bathroom seemed old but in working order. No lotion provided but shampoo conditioner and bar soap. Good hot breakfast options and cold. One of sheets looked kinda gray but was clean. Internet speed was brutally slow. Loved that pool and hot tub was 24 hour access. Could not hear any noises from other rooms.

They working with companies and sleep there . He say firm bed, great breakfast, wifi , close by with restaurants and stores... they stay there 4 days and go home and back thee for working. It's great..

I was in the area for my 40th high school reunion and this property offered me a perfect place to settle in and go, excellent staff, speedy check-in and quiet excellent room with nice accommodations and close proximity to local fare.

Stayed here with my family while exploring the Painted Hills and Fossil Beds. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious and so was the pool area. The only two problems we had were 1. Our refrigerator wasn't very cold even after cranking it up as high as it could go. It also smelled heavily like garlic. 2. We left for the day around 10am to go to blue basin and when we came back at almost 4pm we found our room never got stayover service. Housekeeping was gone for the day, and we never left a “do not disturb” sign on the door because we indeed wanted our room serviced. With 4 people staying in the room, towels and garbage definitely start to pile up. Thankfully we were able to go to the front desk and the kind woman working had us follow her to the laundry room so she could get us all the towels we needed. I didn't catch her name but for her to go dig through the clean laundry for everything we needed was just so great of her. Other than those two issues the hotel is a good place to stay. Friendly front desk staff and it's very quiet and like I said the room was very clean after we checked in.

Very nice courtious folks at the check-in counter. Our room was in the addition section of the motel. Large room with a kind bed, quiet area, and clean. Just outside next to the parking area was landscaping with trees and shrubs. Numerous quail were in this area and we were able to spend time just watching them and their little ones. Breakfast at check out was good.

Clean well kept nicely landscaped. Check in and check out was fast and friendly. The breakfast however, was not up to par in my opinion. Room clean bed comfortable and nice large bathroom. Best of all the AC was nice and quite.

Clean and welcoming! Great breakfast and friendly staff! Did not use the pool, but looked clean and inviting. Only issue was our door when after sliding the key card it did not want to open so you had to really push into the room to get in. (seem to have some sort of catch in it) Would suggest (unless I missed it) that if you get a 2nd floor room to be advised there is no elevator. Grounds were well maintained and pretty flowers etc. Justine was friendly and helpful and gave us towels to clean our motorcycle. Great place to stay!!!

We visit Prineville several times a year. For many years we stayed at the Country Inn and Suites but after several incidents with the front desk staff a couple of years ago we decided to try the Best Western and have been staying here since. The staff here at the Best Western are always very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and we appreciate the breakfast in the morning.

The room had an indoor door to the hallway and an outdoor door to the parking lot. Odd. The room was good, clean and average (except for the doors). Fair room for the price. We mistakenly got a single queen bed, and sure would have preferred King or two beds.

Room, bed, bedding was all good. Amenities in bathroom were very average. Room had a slight smell that you noticed when you first enter the room. I was on the floor level and could hear people walking above me ... every time. It was like there was insulation between the walls but none between floors. Breakfast was a non-event. Was hoping for a banana; no such luck. Ended up getting coffee and croissant at a drive through. Not sure I'd stay here again.

I would have given 5 stars but the bed wasn't comfortable. I had a room on the bottom floor inside of the main lobby. I liked the wood ? floors inside the room very much. Carpet in most hotels/motels are just gross. There's a nice pool area inside and they serve breakfast in the morning. I was pleased that everything offered (eggs bacon potatoes cereal waffles biscuits and gravy etc) was good. The hotel staff were very very friendly. The hotel is close by to a restaurant and a shopping center, you could easily walk to both. I have family in Prineville now so I'll be back to this Best Western

Great Staff! The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Very Good breakfast with lots of choices. Needs more lighting in the entry way to the room. Motel could use some remodeling such as new rugs and lighting.

Very nice, clean and good price. We had stayed here before and remembered that it was a good choice. Prineville is a cute town and this is on the eastern side of town. Restaurant next door was handy for basic food.

beautiful hotel; comfortable bed ! very nice staff. !!! The pool was the perfect temperature and the breakfast was fresh and tasty with fresh berries and fruit. The drive into and out of Prineville makes it the perfect place to explore the surrounding area.

The very first time I stayed here and it looked like it was taken care of and in a decent enough area that I wouldn't have to worry about my truck or safety. Boy, was I wrong! When I opened the door to my room for the pizza delivery person, I just about got knocked over by the smell of marijuana. I asked the delivery person, “Does it smell like pot out there?” He said he smelled it halfway down the hall. For a second, I thought maybe it was him and he was just covering for hisself. About an hour later, I decided to walk to the Ray's next door and the smell was even worse, so I ruled him out. Y the time I got back to my room, it had subsided to a tolerant point. I left my room for a third time to go get ice a little later and was once again knocked over by the smell of pot. Obviously someone was smoking it either just outside the doorway in the back or in the room or hallway and wasn't very concerned about getting caught. 1st strike. The second strike was that some time in the night, someone had broken in to the main tool box in the back of my truck and stole a bunch of my Craftsman tools. 3rd strike was when I talked to the front desk to see if they had camera footage of it and they told me they didn't have any cameras!! What place of business doesn't have cameras in this day and age??? Cameras are so reasonably priced nowadays, that I have cameras all over my residence....and they don't care about their customers enough to put up cameras? Really? No wonder the local tweekers chose this place to hit!! Their customers are at risk!! I was here alone, but if you have a family or care about your safety....go somewhere else.

I went with friends to the Prineville rock and gem show, something that's been on my bucket list for a long time. My friends stayed at the campground, but I went to the Best Western. Nice hotel with a good experience but the breakfast attendant seemed a little overwhelmed because the room was full and people were waiting. Overall good experience though. If you go, make your reservations early and you can save 40 bucks a night.

The hotel staff are friendly, and the pool and hot tub are open 24 hours a day which is nice. The breakfast is very nice as well. The hotel is a little worn in appearance, but not so much as to be concerning. My biggest issue was with someone in my area of the hotel smoking weed which permeates all of the hotel hallways in the area.. yuck!

Our room was spacious and clean with everything working. There were plenty of outlets and lights with all amenities. The linen was better than most and the bathroom was large. Wi-fi was strong and proximity to services was good. I would stay again.

Least of all. This hotel chain makes clients wait 3-hours to access their accommodations. Check-in is 2PM while check-out is 11AM. That is an excessive burden and cost to clients and adds to costs of clients not appreciated by their business practices.

Need to replace carpets, and somehow freshen up the rooms so they don't smell like stale cigarette smoke. overall we slept well and had a great breakfast, if it wasn't for the initial check in lady and misinformation and lack of all information it would have been a better review.

We were in the newer building and everything was very nice. Clean, well furnished room and comfortable bed and sitting area. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a rustic country style with a lovely lobby sitting area that would be good for groups traveling together to socialize in. Didn't use the pool but it's indoors and looked very inviting. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed for our stay.

This is a beautiful hotel! The decor is lovely there are little statues all over, I think the pool was a little cold for my liking. The hot tub seats are very rough, it cut my knee ( I let front desk know) but none of this would stop me from staying here again. Staff is kind and friendly. The jetted tub in the room was a lovely surprise. Keep up the good work Prineville!!!

From the front door to checking out everything was perfect! Enjoyed the pool and breakfast not to mention how clean the rooms were! Usually stay with Best Western for work. Out of the other's around the country this has the top 5

This hotel has what would be expected for a Best Western of that price range plus an above average breakfast including the food attendant . The indoor pool and jacuzzi were clean .. The bed was comfortable and clean but sheets and pillow cases were a little on the worn side , bed sash had a stain otherwise room was clean and comfortable except there was no chair other than the office desk chair . I don't usually like the motel outside door setup but this was different as there was an inside door to the hotel hall and an outside door to your car which was nice as we were able to park right outside our room . Was easy access , close to stores yet a quiet location so slept well .

The Best Western in Prinville is located at a perfect point of several options for local entertainment and food. The Apple Peddler is almost adjacent with a very nice diner atmosphere for the road weary traveler. The Son Of Beers is just across the street to try local crafted ales and IPA's.

There was hair on the bed sheets and pillow case. They must forgot to change them. The bed was dented and was not supportive. About half of the towels felt like sand paper. The breakfast was very good. Internet speed was fast. The decoration of the lobby and breakfast room was nice, but I'd rather they spend money on replacing the beds and towels.

This was the third time I have stayed at this Best Western property, and it has been consistently good. It is higher priced than most every other est Western I stay at, but the company has us use our in-house booking service and they pay, but it is a good place to stay.

The hotel staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. However, it was a relatively old facility-especially the bathroom. I did not sleep well, either and the breakfast was adequate. It might be the best hotel in Prineville, but it is not great. You might want to consider staying in a nearby city and staying in another hotel.

Recently, my wife and I stayed in this Best Western for which we had asked for an ADA accessible room as I am in a wheelchair. This room appeared to be clean and comfortable but I do have some comments, as follow. 1. The bed was tall, making it difficult to get onto. I feel it should be a bit lower. I am 5'11' tall and it was difficult to exit and then return to. 2. The bathroom was large and well equipped however I found the mirror too high to see myself when I tried to shave sitting in my wheelchair. Other than these two points, I found the room comfortable.

It was a very nice, clean, friendly and quiet place to stay. We were road tripping and decided to stop for the night here. The suite we had was just perfect! The front desk clerks were both so friendly and the indoor pool was awesome! Kids loved it!!! The breakfast was really good and the best part is we have a milk allergy kiddo and they had almond milk there!

Room was clean. Check in staff was fast. Both check in and check out staff were friendly. Express check out is convenient. Hot tub could have stronger jets but was a good temperature. Lots of pillows in the room which was great.

Best Western is consistently a good value, and this stay was no different. Rooms are always clean and well maintained. All amenities function as they should. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I will definitely continue to stay with the best western chain of hotels.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when booking this hotel. I was very surprised to find that the room was super clean, there is good lighting in the bathroom, and the cable channel selection is vast! The one thing that I would personally prefer is a bit of a less firm mattress. I would easily stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly too!

Very clean and quiet room. Motel has an indoor swimming pool, breakfast available daily. Located near restaurants and downtown Prineville. The service was excellent, check in fast and efficient. Will definitely come back.

Nice people, great location (not too many decent accommodations nearby), peaceful sojourn. Breakfast was good and ample. If you are heading to the desert wilderness area, this would be a good spot for a night or two.

My room was spacious and clean enough. As is sometimes the case with Best Western motels, it was somewhat pricey. (I wonder if Best Western assesses huge franchise fees to its franchisees that they have to compensate for.) I'd characterize the hotel as a generic mid-range facility, with little remarkable or objectionable about it. Because I was there for only one night, I have little else to report. I give it three stars for just one reason: the keyless entry system was dysfunctional. More than once I had to insert or swipe (I don't remember which) the keycards many times to gain entry to the room. I would write this off to just my door or just my keycards, except that the people across from me were having the same problem, and we commiserated about the difficulty.

Nice hotel in this little burg. Very well cared for, clean and updated. Employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard fare, but is always good to get us going so we don't have to stop again. Not much to do in the town. We hit it on a Sunday and almost everything was closed up.

The room was clean and well stocked. Good breakfast and our kids loved the pool (they always love the pool) but this one was clean, the indoor room was not all stuffy. Overall you could tell that the staff actually cared. They brought us extra sheets and blankets for the kiddos.

Traveling through and needed a place to stay for one night. Outside is nice and updated. Rooms are updated but nothing fancy. I feel like the room could've been a bit cleaner but overall not a bad hotel. I felt it was a bit expensive, however. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was being woken up by people outside our window talking and laughing loudly at 1:00 AM!

This place has a very good staff. They are pleasant and helpful. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Maids do a great job and I would recommend this place to anyone overnight or staying a while in Prineville.

I checked in a week ago 6/6/2018 and have been so satisfied with the staff and quality of this hotel I just had to write this review. First night I was on the second floor and since I have walking difficulties I approached Jen the Assistant Manager and she immediately placed me into a room on the first floor and close to the pool and hot tub. Woohooo. Even though the hotel was totally booked. Next I could not get into the bed due to height restrictions and again medical difficulties so I approached Justine and boom she got me a stool so I could use the bed (what hotel does that?) Kaci was also very helpful during my comings and goings. Overall the staff went above and beyond for me. The room was very nice and the bed (once I got to use it) extremely comfortable. The room was always kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff. I could not be more pleased with my stay. Sadly after my week here I must go on that big bird back to reality. Thank you Best Western for aiding in the best vacation ever.

The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The room was spacious with a sofa. The downsides were a slow internet connection and just an adequate breakfast. Considering the choices in Prineville, this is a good place to stay.

We spent a fri,Sat and Sunday night here.The woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.Our room was more than clean enough for our standards.The bed was firm but comfy, could use a heavier blanket,and got good sleep all 3 nights.The breakfast provided was decent and kept us from wandering over to restaurant next door.My only issues were the walls are on the thin side and parking lot filled up fast at night .Neither would prevent me from future stays or telling friends to stay there.The pool is open 24 hours but we didn't have time to check out but it was popular with other guests.All in all a positive experience.

This is the second time I have stayed at this place (while visiting my brother) and I've been pleased both times. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. (The breakfast bacon could be a bit crisper though > :o))

I stayed here for only one night, and I booked a king room with a jacuzzi, because it was only 10 bucks more, and why not? The hotel was easy to find, and check in was very easy as well. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the window to the pool area, directly across from the front desk, which seems a *little* awkward if you did want to swim. I didn't though, so let's move on! My room was in a separate building from the main lobby, and it was separate from the other rooms, not sharing walls with any other rooms. I was thrilled when I saw this setup, two sides of the room were outside walls, one was bordered by vending machines, and one bordered the housekeeping closet. Excellent, I thought, I don't need to worry about any noisy neighbors! Wrong. The window faced the parking lot, and the walls are so incredibly thin, even the outside walls!, that you could hear people's conversations with the windows closed. The room above us was also a jacuzzi room, I'd bet, because when they turned the water on the fill the tub, it sounded like a tsunami was crashing through the ceiling on us. The actual room was clean, except for the headboard. When the light shined just right, you could see handprints on the headboard. I'm not naive, I know what types of traveler book rooms with jacuzzis. I realize not everyone wants to unwind after a day of exploring the Painted Hills with a bottle of gas station sparkling wine and sit in the jacuzzi watching Gravity Falls marathons on Disney XD. I did not need to *see* proof of other couples' activities. I realize the housekeeping probably just didn't see the handprints on the headboard, but it did make me feel a bit.. gross? laying in the bed. I'm sure everything in the bedding was clean, but, ergh, gross. The shower had decent water pressure, and the showerhead was high enough so I didn't have to bend over to wet my hair. That's all I ask for. Housekeeping starts cleaning before 8 am. If you stay here and you're in the room I was in, you'll be notified immediately when they start by hearing the vacuum starting up. I think overall this stay was okay, I'd normally suggest looking elsewhere, but it's Prineville. Your options are limited.

Very nice lodging, The local restaurants within walking distance were very bad. Go to grocery next door and get take out, beautiful location Closest to fossil beds, national forest, water sports, all under clear desert sun. Great hiking area

The bed was about the most comfortable one we have ever enjoyed while traveling. The breakfast items were very well done, as good as most casual restaurants. We thought we had left an item behind, and the staff was very helpful not only in arranging to have it shipped if found but in searching the room several times. All in all, a great experience.

Excellent location with nearby dining and amenities for the family or business trip.The indoor swimming pool is an excellent way to start or finish the day. One of Oregon's highest rated growler refilling station is located almost next door.

Great experience on such short notice for the 2018 Corbett High School Baseball & their family's! Great accommodations, friendly staff, really comfortable beds, yummy breakfast for the team, & great pricing!! The swimming pool & hot tube was a extra bonus for the team! Service poor and facility poorly maintained. TV not working properly, had to request towels and told limit to one towel per person due to shortage, bathroom smelled like mildew, did not want to give bedding for hide a bed, lights on timer and came on in middle of night, staff appeared disorganized and unhappy

Nice, clean rooms. Comfortable pillows and beds. Friendly staff. 24 hour indoor pool. They do not allow pets. Restaurant next door (average food). Not a lot of choices in this town, but this place works for me.

We stayed for a night at this hotel and we chose the rooms with King Beds. We personally loved the rooms. They were clean and spacious. Breakfast is excellent here! Scrambled eggs, sausage, and some delicious potatoes. A good variety of breads, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruits, yogurt. Pool and hot tub room is open 24 hrs and although we did not try it looked very clean. We were very impressed with the decoration at this hotel, absolutely lovely.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Prineville this Christmas was delightful ! The Lobby was decorated beautifully. We had one evening of snow and watched it fall as we basked in the hottub. Breakfast was amazing as always. Our Grandchildren enjoyed the poor!

Very helpful staff. Vehicle broke down & required being towed which put us approximately 4 hours behind when we were scheduled to arrive. Staff fully understood & accommodated us in every way possible. When the vending machine product hung up & wouldn't release product, staff took care of that with no complaint. Room was very cozy, warm & bed was most comfortable. Breakfast was great. Checkout was easy. Very nice time!

I stayed at this motel as i could use my reward points and i had a social function to attend in town. Overall it was a good experience as i was traveling alone and was out most of the time. The room was clean, but kind of worn, especially in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and room well appointed. I did find the exterior side door where i went out of, as did everyone else, did not lock and was open all of the time, which is kind of disconcerting when you are on the first floor. the breakfast was ok- pretty standard fare.

Friendly staff at check in and check out. Nice bed with perfect (for me anyway) pillows. Weird Jacuzzi tub with a high stepover to get into the tub with nothing to hold on to getting in or out. Other than that, no issues. Would stay there again.

We were tired and had never been to Prineville so we needed to buy swim suits, go to dinner, and get directions to the Painted Hills. The front desk staff were most helpful and we got everything we needed. Rooms were warm and welcoming. Would go back again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. We were visiting friends nearby so it was convenient. The room was very nice and very comfortable. The staff was very good and thoroughly explained everything. We had very nice complimentary breakfasts both days with waffles, cereals, etc.

I had a king room with a jacuzzi tub, staying for two nights. The room had a slightly odd smell but I think it may have been from a new carpet. After running the AC (which didn't cool very well), the smell went away. The jacuzzi tub is very odd. It has a sloping rim so there is nowhere to put your bath items. In addition, the tub floor has a "drainage' dip all the way around it and it is very uncomfortable to stand on. You feel like you are going to slip at any time. It is also very high. Getting in and out is problematic and there is nothing to grab hold of. Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was awesome, breakfast was way better than I expected - eggs, potatoes, bacon, biscuits, gravy and all of the other standard "continental' type breakfast items. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. Starbucks is a block away and there is a restaurant and grocery store right next door. I would definitely recommend it even though there are cheaper hotels in Prineville. Much Cheaper. But upon reading the reviews every one of them allows smoking or has in the past and smoking odor was a major complaint. It was worth spending about $40 more a night to not be subjected to smoking odors.

Great overnight location for sightseeing John Day Fossil Beds National Memorial. Hotel is at a central location, convenient and walking distance to: small shopping area; restaurants; Les Schwabb Tires Center (the original one). When you are on the road, anything can happen road side. And when that “anything involves your wheels” you'll appreciate to have a professional car service center like Les Schwabb right across the street from your hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night before meeting up with my family in a town nearby. We saw this as the affordable hotel with the pool. We were pleasantly suprised with a number of things at the hotel, like when the hotel clerk said that the pool was open 24/7 and you can drink as long as you don't bring glass. The continental breakfast in the morning had a lot to offer (biscuits and gravy were delicious). It felt like a resort without the fee. It's also within walking distance of a diner and a beer distributor and a grocery store.

Stayed at Best Western in Prineville We stayed here last year and it is still one of the our favorite places to stay. The staff is great and helpful. I had earned a free night through Best Westerns reward program, there was no problem getting the free night The rooms are clean and the breakfast was great I told them we where here visiting relatives and they said bring them over and use indoor pool. We didn't take them up on it but was great they offered

Very accommodating and a beautiful area. We loved the hot tub because it was very cold that week, and the laundry facilities were easy to use too. We would stay here again. We loved the area, the canyon up to Prineville Lake is stunning.

A return stay and reception is still friendly. A big pool open to adults 24/7. A user friendly laundry is helpful. Room is Best Western clean and well maintained. Bed is sufficiently comfortable. Breakfast offers basics but served on cardboard. Open until 9am weekdays and 10am weekends.

This was the last night of a four day road trip. Overall it was clean and comfortable. My queen bed had a bit of a dip in it, but not too bad. Sheets were getting a bit thin. Pillows were great. Roomy bathroom and counter. Big flat screen TV. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel, clean comfortable with good breakfast, everything a person needs before going out for a days fishing on the crooked river in Oregon. The river is just a few miles away, so one can come back to their hotel for a good nights rest.

BW Prineville is a very nice hotel. Very clean, quiet, and the desk person was very helpful. Our TV didn't work, and the problem was corrected immediately. The breakfast buffet was average. Overall, we would stay here again when traveling to this part of the state.

Was happy to find a nice Best Western in a small town. Easy to find on the main street and close to several places to dine. Would suggest making a reservation, I didn't and it was almost full when we checked in, on a Monday.

This Best Western Prineville Inn is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. The bronze sculptures and the decorations are great. The indoor pool and hot tub area is large and very nicely done. Would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Great hotel for the price. Clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful swimming pool area. Staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant to our (at times) rambunctious kiddos as well. Complimentary breakfast saved us $$$ the next morning and had a great selection. Highly recommend.

This is such a lovely place to come to. I absolutely recommend staying when coming to Central Oregon. The beds are exceptionally comfy. The pillows are like clouds. The staff is so accommodating and very polite and there is nothing they wouldn't do to make you feel at home. Granddaughter loved the bedtime cookies. The breakfast is the Best I have ever seen. And love love that the pool is 24 hours. 5 stars from me!

The exterior is very nice and well kept, as is the lobby. We have been staying here for 10 years now, once a year pass through and the rooms and decor need some work. The price of the room for one night was over $176. Which in Canadian dollars that puts it over $200. Definately not worth it. Will start looking elsewhere.

Rooms are large, clean and well kept. We were in a second building in the back of the parking lot which meant a short walk to the amenities, but although that it was very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spaceous. The breakfast is plentifuland good. There is a restaurand and a food store right beside the hotel.

Prineville happened to be in eclipse path. Went to see phenomenon. Our group leader lined up rooms for us. ----->Utterly shocked to discover stock motel room had been jacked to some $500+ per night !!!!! To be even handed, this is clean and friendly place with amenities found typically in 1985. Which is fine. BUT, even double normal rate ...maybe. However, we all felt this high altitude rate was taking too much advantage.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Great breakfast of ind fried eggs, sausage, waffles rounded out usual hotel b'fast fare . Nice clean pool. Bed comfy. Room prettily decorated. Bathroom fan noisy! Knew when guests next door flushed, turned on shower, etc Could hear guests walking above us-enough to wake me early. Big downfall was 2 stories, no elevator

Room was clean and the staff friendly. pool/hottub was open to adults 24hrs. Full breakfast was eggs, sausage and gravy, make your own waffles with lots of stuff to make them fun(fruit and whip cream.Provided up front parking for motorcycles. Nice little beer room across the street. Restaurant right next door if you did not want to leave for food( I did not eat there but seemed popular with the locals).

The stay at this hotel was top notch from beginning to end. Check in fast and efficient and the desk clerk pleasant. The room was wonderful and spacious. Very clean and a great bed. The amenities are numerous, clothes iron and ironing board, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, in room coffee, Kleenex and a great hot breakfast included in the room rent. There was fruit cups, yogurt, bread and a toaster, muffins, danish, biscuits, bagels, bacon, scrambled eggs, O'brian potatoes, pancakes, waffles, Nutri Grain bars, coffee, apple and orange juice and more. The dining area was clean& large with many tables. It certainly was way above average. There is an indoor heated pool open year round. The room was very quiet and a safe environment. I was highly satisfied with our accommodations and sure you would be as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

As always, Best Western provides an excellent facility with quality service and amenities. The room was beautiful and beds were very comfortable. the breakfast was a feast with many options both cold and hot. Staff were very professional and helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and each time I had an issue with the room, the problem was resolved. I have a bad back and the bed is very important for me to sleep as well as possible. On occasion I had to swap rooms due to firmness of the bed. The staff was very helpful and made the changes without any question. I am believer in the Best Western Hotel chin and will continue to use them in the future.

when we got to the hotel we had an upstairs room and no elevator. I asked for a room down stairs due to a hip problem. Stairs are very heard to go up and down. I requested a downstairs hotel room when I made the reservation. They told me that was not a problem and when I arrived nothing was as I requested.

First overnight stay in this town, chose this hotel based on brand recognition. Did not disappoint! Would surely stay here again should the need arise. More expensive than I would have thought, but I suspect some large construction projects in town are playing a role.

Nice big room Excellent air conditioning and comfy bed. Good TV. Bad hairdryer. Good service at reception, although the breakfast was very average. Right on US 26 and handy to walk to various stores and eateries.

The Prineville Best Western Inn is an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The property is located close to many restaurants, within walking distance if you don't mind walking about a 1/2 mile

We don't spend much time in our room because we come to Prineville to visit family, but our room is always clean and welcoming. Just like visiting Grandma's place! The pool area is always clean with towels near by. The staff are always helpful.

We always get a room in Prineville when our travels take us this way. It is clean,comfortable,Well maintained and an excellent bargain. It is well situated to use as a stepping off point for the surrounding attractions...

The air conditioner wasn't working upon our arrival but prompt staff had it completely replaced and s new one working in no time. Kuddos!!! Also awesome Decor in lobby and grounds! A great hotel and staff.

Stay here not The S. Inn in Prineville. We always stay here. Tina is great she helps us all the time. Breakfast is free and okay. Pool indoors is open for adults 24 hours but we didn't use it. We will be back.

Nice, clean hotel to relax during a long road trip while stopping overnight in a remote area. Surrounding area is sketchy and has minimal food choices but the hotel itself is fantastic. Great pool area with jacuzzi. Two story hotel but no elevator. Has self service laundry for $2.50 wash/dry each load. Rooms were wonderful.

After 5 nights of camping, this was place was perfect. The room was clean, updated, spacious, air conditioned, and included a refrigerator, microwave, wifi, TV, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, coffee, morning breakfast, and lots of pillows. The facility includes an indoor pool and hot tub/spa open 24 hours to adults. Breakfast included make your own waffle, cereal, OJ, yogurt, eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, breads, fruit, coffee, muffins. There is a Ray's grocery store walking distance across the parking lot that is open until 10pm! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend.

The noise from bathroom above us on the first floor room in "The Annex" was almost frightening it was so loud. Mentioned this in a review to Best Western and the response was "It's an older building and not much can be done". What a thing to say to people that are looking for a place to sleep and relax. Among other things: One nightstand between beds, no reading lamp for person on the wrong side of the bed. AC constantly and very frequently on and off. Free breakfast cut off at 9 am. Most other BWesterns accomodate the leisure traveler with breakfast until 10. Black Widow spider found crawing up inside of the room entry door. (We do know our spiders) After many years staying with them many times around the U.S. we are having second thoughts about Best Western. Until this time, we had always found BW to be great. They should clean up thier act. Also, the price for the room was much more than we are accustomed to with Best Western.

We were in town for an event and booked a room at the Best Western. My wife has severe allergies and staying in a hotel sometimes just doesn't work for us. We thought we would give the Best Western a try and they EXCEEDED our expectations. We called them a few days in advance to let them know what would help our stay be pleasant. They were happy to help us out in any way. The biggest item that attacks my wife's allergies is bleach. We were amazed that there was not any bleach smell in our room, nor on the towels, nor in the hotel itself. This hotel offers free wifi that was fast enough for all of our needs. The indoor pool is great as well. They do offer a full breakfast with everything from biscuits and gravy to waffles and things in between. Each room also has a refrigerator and microwave and there is a grocery store next door. If you are in the area looking for a hotel, give Justine a call at the Best Western. She far exceeded the service we were expecting.

The hotel smells as if it use to be one of those hotels that you could smoke in every room. We saw a termite in the bathroom. Breakfast was free a little skimpy but it was free. Free is good. The pool looked nice we didn't go in. Hotel appears clean but with the smell and termite not sure. Coffee maker is located in the bathroom. Cable tv is limited and no DVD player. Rooms have AC.

Went fishing for our anniversary at nearby reservoir, enjoyed the close proximity of this hotel. Lovely setting and lobby, close to stores and restaurants. Quiet area even though on highway, wasn't able to stay for breakfast but it is provided complimentary.

Total combined experience makes this the only place we stay in our several trips per year to Prineville area. Staff is great - hometown friendly and helpful - and the facilities and amenities are better than most in a community of this size. Handy to everything and very comfortable rooms and common areas. The indoor pool is far better than many top line hotels in large metro areas.

My company reserves a lot of rooms in a short amount of time with guest arriving on different days and times. Janine from the Prineville Best Western has a smile on her face and is beyond helpful even with the craziest of questions and requests. She's a stellar GM and manages her hotel with grace and hospitality.

Obviously trying to better their margins. Wouldn't recommend unless everything else in the area was full. The pillows are maybe half size, no soap, expensive for amenities offered. Front desk was helpful and the rooms were clean.

We found the hotel reasonable and comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. Our only complaint is about hotel food. It is so stacked with carbs and you know it is the cheapest on the market. Very industrial. But we usually surrender to that and always have our own healthy snacks

Bend and Redmond hotel prices are disgusting. I love that I can scoot on over to Prineville and back to a reality check for room price! The staff here really treats their guests beautifully. Restaurant next door means that I can just wander across the way for dinner, which is nice.

If traveling to Prineville Oregon for a volleyball tournament we have stayed at the Best Western Prineville for years! They are located just minutes away from the high school and offer a fantastic breakfast! The rooms are clean beds are comfy and hotel has an indoor pool.

Had the opportunity in staying here last weekend (June 2nd thru 3rd, 2017) / I was very pleased with the accommodations everything was awesome. The Staff wonderful and helpful and the beds (Queen) were very comfortable. Probably one of the best breakfast we've had in a long time, that is staying at a hotels, the entries from the waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausages were great - they tasted like they were suppose taste, so that was a nice surprise. I know I would stay here again....

We always enjoy our stay at the Prineville Best Western. It has good beds, pillows and friendly staff. We look forward to our next visit. We will be back later this summer. It's always a pleasure. Thank you.

We had 2 rooms for our family stay. They were able to accomodate a last minute request for them to be next to each other. Very friendly staff! This hotel is very clean, great location, and has a very good breakfast! Great value! We will definitely come back!

Great pool and jacuuzi, very clean, right temperature. Rooms very clean and recently remodeled. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Walking distance (take river path) to restaturants in town. Highly recommend

If traveling with kids, this is where you want to be. The pool is open until 10 (for kids, 24 hours otherwise) and it was clean and so fun for our downtime in Prineville. I would recommend requesting the main building if you have littles... we got put in the 2nd building and it's a longer trek to the pool, and you have to go outside and back in to get there. Continental breakfast was great too!

Great deal! Significantly less $ on the Sunday night I stayed than several other places nearby, and it with a much nicer setting! The decor was quaint and homey in the entry, and the place was clean everywhere. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, potatoes, make-your-own waffles and pancakes, as well as your standard continental fare. The room I was given was large and in the main building, same as the pool and hot tub (which were both very clean and super nice to spend time in!) I was only 2 doors from the back entry, so even though this is a smoke-free building, I could smell cigarets when standing in the hallway. But my room was very clean with no smoking smells at all. I highly recommend this place!

Usually we have good luck with BW hotels but not this time. They had us stay in a separate building 'the annex' from the pool which was less than desirable. Walking thru a parking lot in 32 degree weather to go swimming was not something we wanted. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the springs creaked every time you moved! Both of us woke up with sore backs! The "annex" building, which is where we stayed had a terrible odor almost like stale cigarette smoke. Will not be staying st this location again.

We stayed 3-24-17. Motel is very clean, very comfortable king bed. We had a handicap room (only room available). Nice, friendly staff. Room included microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was served 6-9 am. It included waffles, potatoes, bacon, cereal, fresh and packaged fruit, assortment of bakery items, yogurt, milk, juice, different toppings for hot food. A restaurant was next door.

Great place to stop on the way to the coast from Boise. Nice pool, clean rooms, friendly staff, hot breakfast, and the price was right. The room was a bit noisy as we all got woke up from the people staying above us. Stomping around, loud pipes when they ran the water. But overall a pleasant experience.

Hotel was clean and orderly. Used the pool with our 2 year old grandson. Check in and checking out was made easy and pleasant. The breakfast was really good. Had a big selection of different items, but also healthy items.

As a Travel Agent and former Best Western Quality Assurance Inspector, I'm really sad to say that this property lacks the hospitality that most Best Western properties have! The General Manager was not present at check-in or check-out, the desk clerk was unable to answer a single question and offered ZERO discount to me! I was looking for nice places for my clients to stay in Prineville and other towns in Eastern Oregon, but I MOST ASSUREDLY will not send them to Best Western Prineville Inn! Housekeepers seem to have not been trained to dust the rooms and there was a THICK layer of dust on picture frames! NOT RECOMMENDED!

We (2 adults + toddler) stayed two nights while visiting family who live just outside of the town of Prineville. Hotel is nice and fairly updated. Carpet leading to rooms looked dirty and that area smelled musty, but our room didn't seem to. We had a 2 queen bed on second floor (was the top floor in that area - to left when facing front doors). I believe another part of the hotel had 3 floors. No elevators on side we were on, though. Lots of noise from other rooms when water was running or toilets were being flushed, but other than that didn't hear too much noise. Other than sleeping we didn't spend much time there and didn't get to use the pool as I had planned, but it looked nice and apparently is open 24 hours. Free wifi was a plus. They offer a hot breakfast, although was fairly limited (make your own waffles, overcooked eggs, sausage, soggy potatoes, juice, coffee, yogurt, pastries). You can check in as early as 2pm, which is early from what I've experienced. Hotel is non-smoking, but both nights we returned there were people standing right outside the side entrance we used smoking...wish they had stood a little further away so we didn't have walk right by the smoke.

Slept pretty well despite upstairs moving furniture half the night - But there were a few minor problems! Number 1 , no desk to put my computer on , the only flat surface of the right height in the room was the bathroom counter! So , I used the luggage rack and it was OK .. Next , drain in shower was nearly plugged , wouldn't take the water down so wound up standing in 3-4 inches of water while showering. An final whine-o-gram , breakfast may have been ready at the stated 6 Am , but I almost always get up way earlier .. They did have coffee and store bought pastries though .. And the Woman doing the breakfast was pleasant ..

This is my first visit to Prineville and it will not be my last! I was welcomed by Tina at the front desk. She made us feel totally welcome. I love being a diamond Best Western Rewards member for all of the perks I get including room upgrades and gift bags when I arrive.our room was super clean and the pool area is really nice. The lobby is nicely decorated and very welcoming. Our bed was super comfortable and the bathroom clean. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

This is one of the older type BW, so don't expect new furniture. Our room was still very nice, clean and quiet. The hotel was very busy with construction workers staying there but there was no noise and we slept very well. Breakfast was ok with the usual BW selection of cold and warm food. Staff were nice and friendly; internet was fast and reliable. We did not use the pool. The hotel is really easy to find at the eastern end of Prineville and supermarkets / restaurants are nearby. The area around Prineville has a lot to offer - we loved the Smith Rock State Park and the John Day National Monument. Would definitely come back here and stay at the BW again.

Hotel is fine, Very busy high turn over rate of guests. There is a lot of construction contractors staying at the hotel. If you are staying alone you will most likely get the absolute minimum accommodations. It is a well kept clean hotel. The best option in town.

After a long drive all day what a pleasure to stop at this nice place and not have to drive into the congestion of Bend. Tina the front desk clerk was amazing with her knowledge of the area. Clean, comfortable well equipped rooms and a super friendly staff.....This is a great port in the storm!

This was an excellent over night stay in Prineville, Or. very good service and clean and great appearance. Good price and nice pool and spa available to use at will if wanted. We would recommend this motel for sure to friends and a return of our future.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Tina is absolutely amazing! She is very kind, helpful and has a great spunky personality! My boyfriend and I mentioned we were hunting in the morning around 4am so we would miss breakfast and she offered to have some to go items ready for us at the desk! Now that's service!! The Best Western is so lucky to have her.. we didn't encounter anyone else during our stay but i'm sure the rest of the staff is great! We now have a place to call home each time I come out here for hunting season. :) Thank you Best Western keep it up!!

Spent September 29 & 30th at Best Western whilst exploring the area. Typical older Best Western, good room, not bad breakfast, lots of parking, fast internet, usual issues with noise transference from other units in the building. Excellent location, on main street but quiet, close to restaurants etc. Typical good value for money, would stay there again.

The rooms was nice, clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. Northwest décor made it interesting. Indoor pool and decent breakfast. Right on Main St, so easy to find. Micro/fridge in room and a grocery store is next door.

This place needs updating and a maid supervisory to check behind the maids. I"m not that sure the sheets were changed??? Around the base of the toilet was awful. The walls and floors are paper thin, and the all phases of the plumbing was noisy so that you knew what all the other guests were doing.

The Prineville Inn is situated not far from the town centre. Couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. Ask for a quiet room away from the road. We had a room in the annexe which was fine for traffic noise but we were woken very early by vehicles leaving the property-think it may be hunting season. Obviously the staff can't help this. Otherwise room was good with all the standard amenities. Simple buffet breakfast provided. Pool on offer if you have time for a swim. Just a point to note; there are no lifts anywhere so if you have heavy cases be prepared to carry them up a short flight of stairs. Alternatively ask for ground floor accommodation.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this best Western in a small town in the middle of Oregon. Really enjoyed this Best Western, the décor was beautiful, rooms comfortable, and pool and hot tub very enjoyable and the breakfast selection was above average

We were surprised to see the outstanding flowers and art work both inside and outside the hotel. The room was spacious and included a hot tub and the king sized bed was huge and comfortable. The service was excellent, including the free breakfast. What a great hotel in the small town of Prineville.

Standard issue depressing small town motel. Might be the best in town, but I would keep driving to Redmond or Bend. Sometimes the staff can make up for this by injecting a brightness to an otherwise gloomy place. My experience was the opposite though, when I arrived to learn that the package I had sent beforehand had been simply placed on it side in the atrium (too small to call a lobby), where anyone could have walked away with it. Then when I had the gall to ask where I could place it for pickup the next day, eyes were rolled and I was told to call the GM. Guys - in this day and age, accepting a mailed package for a guest is a service even your hotel needs to offer.

We stayed her for three nights. Rooms were clean and large. Plenty of room for two adults and two children with our portable pack and play. Comfortable beds. Loved the cookies in the lobby. The indoor pool and spa were heaven.

I was in the area for business and my wife had suggested this hotel. From check in to check out, the staff went above and beyond. I arrived late and was glad to see the pool area is open 24 hours. This was a plus, as I got to unwind after a long drive. The hotel is a little older but the rooms were spotless, beds comfortable and the staff was exceptional! I will definitely stay there again when in the area for business.

There are art pieces all atound the property. I am not sure if they are antiques, but there are fun and pleasing to look at. The greetig was warm and welcoming with the person at the front desk. It was the first time, in a very long that i was greeted as a diamond member, or any kind of member for that matter. The checkin process went very quickly. I received a bottle of cold water and two chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were not comfortable to me, too hard. But there were many choices on my bed, i just could find one that i liked. My husband said his pillows were perfect. We took advantage of the hot tub being accessible 24/7. Such a plus!!! I wish more hotels were like this. When you are traveling, sometimes you don't arrive with enough time to enjoy the pool or hot tub. We ate dinner at the restaurant next to the hotel. General menu, comfort food is how i would describe it. I thought my husband was never going to stop eating. Anyway,back to the hotel. You can't go wrong with staying here. It was a really positive experience. Even with just staying one night, having a good experience is important

The pool could be warmer, but it's still an indoor pool and fun for the kids. I like that it's open 24 hours (children are only allowed till 10). It was a little loud early in the morning when people started getting up on the next floor. The rooms were quite clean and the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and surprisingly good quality.

The Prineville Best Western is well decorated with a variety of antiquities and CLEAN! The breakfast is fanominal with many different options, including a full waffle bar and availability to make a personalized breakfast sandwich. The pool is always open and, again, clean. Not to mention, the extremely helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is worth every penny!

Best Western Prineville Inn is comfortable, convenient and well appointed. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and comfortable seating area. Space was well organized for fridge, microwave, tv and work desk — an bonus room that had a window that opened for fresh air. Located an easy drive to Painted Hills and Smith Rock as well as other local recreational areas. Well dressed with nostalgic and humorous sculpture add to the enjoyable space near the pool and breakfast area. Complimentary breakfast is offered 6 -- 9 AM weekdays, just a bit too rushed for my mornings; choices are predictable packages, waffles and for big breakfast eaters: eggs, meats and biscuits. Coin-operated laundry available — bonus.

Big room and bathroom, good AC, 24 hour pool area for adults in late evening. Breakfast was good sized and week days have eggs made for build your own sandwich, bacon, grated cheese, peppers,onions. Weekend sausage links scrambled eggs, peppers,onions & potatoes. Various kind of cereals, waffles toppings. They even had soy milk wish more places had it. Plenty of parking.

At our check in we were met by a wonderful woman who saw to all our needs with a friendly smile. It was a great way to start a mini vacation. Breakfast was varied and very enjoyable and the facilities were immaculate.

We had trouble finding a centralized hotel for our road trip, so we went a little out of the way to find a good priced hotel, using the AARP discount. We found one in Prineville, Best Western, that took us approximately 19 miles away from out first destination of Smith Rock State Park to the west. I don't mind driving a little out of the way, you can see more of the country. Painted Hills is to the east with approximately an hour drive. The hotel was clean with many amenities including laundry and a friendly staff that was very accommodating. This is 2 story hotel but no elevator.

Great Hotel in great little city. Beautiful area of the state. Hotel close to amenities. Area was quiet and felt safe. Staff were all friendly, helpful and polite. Check in went quickly even with our large group. We would certainly recommend this for our family and friends. Best Western is our first choice when traveling.

A perfectly serviceable hotel in Prineville. Like many Best Westerns, it's an older establishment with loud plumbing and signs of wear in the room and public places. The breakfast is heavy on carbs without much fruit or protein. The king rooms are nice and roomy and provided a makeup remover towelette in the bathroom, which is a great touch that I've never seen before.

This is a good family hotel at reasonable price if you do trip through Oregon. Nice staff. Good value for money. The rooms are spacious and there is shop next door. A bit short time for breakfast (6-9).

I have been staying at this motel since the early 2000s and it has been kept in remarkable condition with outstanding staff throughout my connection with it. It has maintained a quality of newness as I have experienced each trip. Staff has always given me excellent local recommendations for sites to visit and meals.

We had some friends working in Prineville so we came down to visit and check out everything. Hotel room and grounds were clean and well stocked. Bed was comfortable and wifi worked well. Staff were friendly and the stay was what I expected for a Best Western.

Overall a nice Best Western. The only fly in the soup was the staff insisting they had hot tubs available in specific rooms when we made reservations. When asked specifically if they meant a Jacuzzi tub we were reassured the room had a hot tub. On arrival, sure enough it was a Jacuzzi, name on the tub and all. Paid extra for nothing.

We called ahead to make a reservation and had very nice, friendly service. We checked into a clean, comfortable room on the second floor, but did find a bottle of soda in the freezer that was left behind. There was no elevator to simplify getting all the luggage, etc. to our room. It is a no pet, no smoking inn, which suited us just fine, but then it seems the smokers always gather outside and talk instead of being in their rooms. The conversations went well into the night. We finally shut the window and turned up the fan to drown out the voices from outside, so we could get some sleep. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety: cereal, yogurt, sausage, fried eggs, juice, coffee and more. The area was clean and well stocked.

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed there for a night on the way to Painted Hills. There are two buildings, the lobby is in old building but we stayed in the new building. Rooms were very decent and it was hardwood (think, fake wood) floor which we really liked. (better when kids walk in the room bare foot). My younger child is allergic to dust (asthma) and he didnt have any problem at all. Breakfast was very good too and they have been replenishing very frequently. I noticed that the old building has a bit dated look, but I dont know how the rooms are in there.

All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. However, that is where the good review ends. The room was furnished comfortably but had two major issues. 1. The door was always jammed and you had to throw yourself against the door to get it to open. I alerted the front desk and they did send a maintenance to fix it but the problem still remained after the so-called "fix". I felt like I was breaking down the door every time I tried to get into my room. 2. Bugs. There were bugs in the room. I originally saw bugs in the bathroom, both on the floor and literally under the toilet seat. I told the front desk about this and they immediately alerted their head housekeeper to take care of the bugs. I was later told that the bugs were earwigs. For the rest of my trip, I did not see bugs in the bathroom but did see some in the main room. Along with the earwigs, I also saw tiny ants. Now these bugs were not large but as someone with a huge fear of bugs I was repulsed. I was barely able to sleep at night due to this problem. I should not have to see bugs crawling everywhere while I am trying to sleep or brush my teeth. That is disgusting. Furthermore, although the front desk was very prompt about trying to rid the room of the bugs there was no offer to allow me to switch rooms (even though the hotel was very clearly not full) or offering of a discount. Overall, the staff did attempt to be helpful but the room was one of the worst I've ever had. Would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

Clean pool and hot tub open to 10 pm for children but open 24 hours for adult guests-- most unusual and appreciated hours for weary adult travelers. Hotel staff without exception was professional and courteous while friendly.

The Best Western is located on Northeast 3rd Street. We stayed 2 nights here and used this as our base for visiting the Painted Hills attraction. After visiting the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and a 2 hour drive, we arrived at our motel just before dinner time. The check in process was fairly quick. The main building has the following: • lobby / registration • large room for continental breakfast • indoor pool next to the lobby • rooms There is a fairly large room off the lobby for the continental breakfast that holds more than 30 people. Breakfast is served from 6:00 – 9:00 AM. A very basic set up including the following: • mini-waffle maker • mini-pancake maker • sausage patties or bacon depending on day • fried eggs or scrambled eggs depending on day • pan fried large diced potatoes with peppers • biscuits and gravy • fruits and mixed fruit cups • coffee, tea and juice machine • yogurt and fruits • cereals and toast I would rate it as an above average continental breakfast. There is also a separate annex that has more rooms on 2 floors. Rooms 402 • Room is in the annex, a short 100 yard /meter walk from the main building • Room is one door over and across from the top of the stairs • View of commercial / warehouse complex from room window • No elevator to second floor • Ice machine and vending machines on the main floor • King size bed • Microwave • LCD TV • Large bar fridge with freezer compartment • Long bathroom counter • Iron and ironing board Issues with the room 402: • Toilet was “running” when we checked in. The valve wasn't shutting properly but I pushed the lever again and that stopped the water from running inside the toilet • Bathtub mat was moist. Just washed?? • No plug for bathtub • No body lotion or conditioner. • Coffee in coffee pot when we checked in • After the day 1 clean up the staff did not leave us with any shampoo • Noisy exhaust fan – one switch for light and exhaust fan The front counter clerk was nice and helpful. She gave us some recommendations for dinner. Factors that affect my rating include the following: • Location and complex • Amenities in and around the hotel • Room cleanliness • Issues with the room • Service provided by staff • Continental breakfast My rating for the hotel is 3.50 out of 5. If all the issues I cited weren't present, it would probably rate close to a 4 star. Notes and Tips • Our friends stayed in room 214 in the main building. It is the same floor plan as room 402. • Free Wifi • There is a mall with a grocery store less than 100 yards away. • There is a restaurant next door. • This was day 2 of 8 days on our trip to visit Central Oregon and the Oregon Coast. • After checking in we went to Dillon's Grill for dinner. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with check-in and some restaurant advice and directions. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed large and comfortable with a good selection of pillows. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options and the wifi worked well for my whole stay.

We did not expect the level of service and amenities we found at the Best Western in Prineville. Staff made adjustments for our very early arrival w/o any hassle. The hotel has a pool, hot tub and and a gust laundry facility. Our room was spacious and cool on a very hot day. A good place to stay in Prineville!

Didn't realize My bath towel was dirty until after my shower - too late to get a new one.. 5 feet of the hemming tape from the mattress was draped on the floor. would not give me a discount just points. other than that things were fine.

Very clean rooms, great pool/hot tub, and outstanding customer service. The Manager went out of her way to find rooms for us even though they were booked. Great place to stay if you're in Prineville, OR.

Stayed one night on a bicycle tour of the USA. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, quiet nice room. Restaurants nearby. The price was commensurate with the quality of the room. You will not be disappointed.

This property is very convenient for the through traveler heading east or west. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and neat, although a bit worn. Access doors to the rooms in the main building are all on one side, or entry may be made from the lobby. I like to try to have my vehicle visible from the room and this was only possible by parking on the opposite side of the building from the room entrances. I then had to walk around the building to get back in. The breakfast was ample, although it was impossible to get water hot enough to make a decent cup of tea or chocolate. Seems like they fill the pump urn with hot water from the sink faucet. Overall, however, we had a comfortable and restful stay for one night.

The room was nice enough, however the main problem was there were stairs and two separate buildings. I wish they would have mentioned the stairs when I made the reservation because there were quite a few of them and after having a knee replacement some months back it was a bit of a struggle. Also the breakfast was in the main building and you had to go downstairs, then outside through the parking lot to get there .

The staff was great the motel was average. I was disappointed that they are not pet friendly. I was there for a convention and how people were in a seperate building it made it very hard to net work in the rooms. Construction going on at front entrance should not have been scheduled while a convention was staying there

This hotel the staff was great. The food was good at breakfast and the breakfast person took care of your needs. There was a local restaurant, Pizza Hut, Starbucks and grocery store all within walking distance. The hotel was somewhat dated with smaller toilet and hardly any outlets. This hotel could get more lights that have the option of outlets. The hotel was clean but the price was a little high for it being dated.

The hotel was clean, the staff were great. Chose the hotel because I was familiar with the Best Western brand and know the quality is usually very good. I was extremely pleased with everything but the bed. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable, leaving me with back problems after two nights. We had the same issue a year ago in a different room but the hotel was undertaking a renovation and we had hoped that the beds would be replaced. However, no such luck. If it weren't for the beds, the stay would have been top notch.

I have stayed her many times when visiting family in the area. The hotel is always clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The breakfast was varied and quite good.

Very friendly staff, clean, convenient. I liked there was internet, continental breakfast, and a Starbuck's within walking distance. Unfortunately the bed was hard and only slightly better than sleeping on the floor and there are two separate buildings and when I wanted a bottle of water one night I wasn't going to get dressed to walk to the lobby.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Executive Suite because we needed the extra space for family visiting. The king size bed was an added bonus. The couches were comfortable and clean. This is the 3rd year we have stayed here at the Prineville Best Western and have never been disappointed.

Great people working at the Best Western. I was greeted with friendliness and a warm smile. I loved the pool and spa area. The internet worked great too from my room, internet can always go in and out in some hotels, but this was great.

What great place for the "Nothing Sacred Fishing Trip" Good service, clean rooms, good price. Very accommodating to our large men's group. Free breakfast, wifi, and good location. Comfortable beds, plenty of tv channels, and pleasant atmosphere .

Our stay was fantastic! At arrival, the desk clerk was very friendly and nice. We went to our room and found that it was either occupied or hadn't been cleaned. She handled us very fairly (with a sense of humor) and gave us an upgraded room. Our stay was awesome! We will stay again.

I typically will not stay in chain hotels, always bed and breakfasts. As an admitted bug-phobe, I believe a person will keep their own home cleaner, than someone paid minimum wage, who is tired and overworked. This is the reason I prefer a b-n-b. I stayed at a BW in Albany during a horse show a couple of years ago, as the room was paid for by someone else, and was really, really impressed by the cleanliness and size of the rooms, and the breakfast was amazing. I was expecting the usual continental of danishes and coffee with maybe an orange, (which I what what was put out at a fairly upscale Hilton 6 years ago), but they really do put on a spread. I make the exception for only booking b&b's for BW hotels, they have really been clean, and well maintained.

The bed was a little hard for my liking, but the place is very clean. They can and do accommodate large groups. I'd stay here again. The blueberry pancakes are scrumptious. Especially with the marion berry syrup!

Super clean (seriously, like brand new). Friendly and totally accommodating staff. Very delicious and diverse breakfast options. 24 HOUR POOL AND SPA!!! Safe and secure parking off and away from main street. Room access from both outside and inside the hotel was very convenient.

I was surprised to find this gem in Prineville. Affordable, comfortable, great appearance, friendly and helpful front desk staff, comfortable bed, excellent housekeepers, Jacuzzi tub in room, and quiet.

Stayed for a wedding with 10 or so other guests. Excellent customer service, facilities were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours. Staff was very helpful with any questions or concerns. Great value and experience.

I spent a few nights here recently while passing through. The price is hard to beat, but you really do get what you pay for. I had two specific complaints: The first was the cleanliness - the room was mostly clean, however the towels weren't. One bath/shower towel had someone else's hair in it, the other had some kind of stain which I'm not even going to think about. The corners behind the doors were dusty, almost like from construction, and the carpets looked like they hadn't been washed in a while. The second was noise. I had a ground (1st) floor room, near the rear entrance. There was a lot of noise from other room doors opening/closing, the plumbing from the room upstairs causes a lot of noise (you could tell when they ran the tap, flushed the toilet, had a shower, etc). Aside from my possibly lofty high standards for cleanliness and maybe over-sensitive hearing, the visit was fine. BW is located fairly well, down at the end of 3rd street, near some shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking is available, and it's close enough to some nice restaurants. The inn has a pool (the heater was broken, but I probably wouldn't have gone swimming anyway - feels like you're on show from the lobby window), acceptable internet speeds, and fairly spacious rooms. If you're needing to stay in Prineville and on a budget, it's probably a safe bet. You could definitely do better if you were willing to stay further away and spend a tiny bit more.

We booked here for New Year's Eve and took our adult son and his family along with us. We all had a great time with my children as well as my grandchildren in the pool until closing. The decor of the facility is unique with antique fishing equipment beautifully displayed and "rancher" themed decorations which both fit the overall Prineville feel very appropriately. We had an excellent time! The breakfast was very good, and the staff were all very helpful. We travel to Prineville regularly and will definitely use this facility again as well as recommend it to others.

I was not feeling well, and needed to rest. The staff was attentive, caring and helpful. I actually stayed twice...each time, extending a one stay night, into a two stay night. I would not hesitate to return for a stay...for any reason.

I love this Best Western. The rooms are great, the staff is really friendly and helpful. They allowed me to bring my grand children over to play in the pool with me. The kids were so thrilled they want me to stay there again.

The staff was just wonderful and the hotel has a nice cozy lobby and decent breakfast. The is no fitness center and the large pool is in full view from the lobby so if you don't like being viewed by all who enter I would not use it. Also the blankets were very old and not soft at all....although they were wrapped in sheets on both sides so it was not always exposed to your skin. Grocery store, restaurant and Starbucks within walking distance!

Clean, friendly - the standard that I expect from a Best Western. The decor isn't modern; however, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the internet works and all the basic amenities are there. Recommended and reliable :)

I needed a place to stay at the last minute while I was in town for some training and this fit the bill. A clean room with what you would expect for around 100. Good front desk service. Close to food and a grocery store.

Clean and comfortable room and bed with lots of extra pillows. There's a good breakfast from 6-9 AM. Coffee is always available in the lobby 24/7. The pool and spa is also open 24/7. Get the free cookies in the lobby at night before they are gone!

When I pulled into this property, first thing you notice is very nice décor. Location is in good spot with mostly ample parking. Truck parking was close enough to come to this property again. Comfortable and quiet.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Check-in was fine and new person on the desk did great. I paid with a credit card, so I just had to check out the next morning and sign a receipt. This is where it went bad. "Melissa" was nothing less than irritated that I had to call the front desk from my car to get someone to help me, she was too busy in the "kitchen" and blamed me, day shift staff and anything else she could think of for me having to sign the receipt. Really? I waited in the lobby at least 10 minutes before calling them, and I knocked on the "kitchen" door, no response. The one thing that irritated me most was her saying on the "for pete sake, ok fine I'll be right there". Staying at Stafford Inn next month when I am in Prineville, no more Best Western.

Breakfast opened at 6 am. We are early risers, so we went to breakfast at 6:30. So surprised to see empty hot dishes, empty milk pitcher and no fresh fruit! We waited to see if anything would be replenished, but no! Very strange! We waited around for a while and then just decided to leave. Pretty disappointing, since a hot breakfast is one of your advertised features.

This is a very good hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The beds provide a good night's sleep. There is a fine indoor pool, but would have also liked to have a workout room. Thank you for providing great service and hospitality.

Great place to stay, if you are exploring the Crooked River area. I've stayed here to make the trip to the Painted Hills area, which is 47 miles east, through the Ochoco mountains. Nice golf course, Meadow Lakes, in town.

Quiet, crickets in hall, and as is with most Best Western motels, overpriced. The front desk staff will steer you away from the restaurant across the drive; ignore the front desk staff, the restaurant was excellent. We stayed the next night at a cabin in Crater National Park that we felt was a better value than this hotel for $30 more per night.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was very clean. We stayed in a room with a spa tub. Although the tub was located right near the bed, it worked well and was a nice feature. Prineville is a great place to visit and this hotel made our stay even that much more enjoyable.

I would rate this Best Western at a little above average. Convenient, comfortable, good parking and nice people. Nice beds and clean rooms. The restaurant next door was only average, not much different then a Denny's.

I stayed at this hotel for a stopover while heading back home at the end of my trip to Washington and Oregon. It is conveniently located in downtown Prineville. I had a nice room and got a good night's sleep. There is a restaurant next to the hotel where I had dinner an excellent dinner. The free breakfast provided by the hotel was very good.
