The breakfast lack a variety but the quality made up for it. Was really tasty. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean they had soap bars instead of body wash which I prefer. Relaxing stay before heading to airport. Nice and quiet stay. Slept really great.
There was a dead cockroach in one of the bathroom lights, there were homeless people loitering outside the rear card access entry, and the overwhelming stench of bleach in the elevator and main entryway was over the top. Not entirely sure what else to say, but there is a 200 character minimum for a review to be posted.
Our Best Western Payson stay was a pleasant surprise on our cross-country journey from Santa Fe to Chula Vista. The hotel provided a welcome break from the road. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast options to fuel our day. The friendly staff added to the positive experience. The fitness center was a convenient perk. Overall, it's a solid choice for travelers seeking a comfortable overnight stay.
The room was clean, quiet and spacious! Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items. Staff was very friendly and accommodated any all of our needs. Hotel location is within a walkable distance to a variety of restaurants and store. We will definitely stay here again!
I booked a block of rooms for our United Women in Faith event that was being held in Payson. Pauline was excellent to work with and so friendly when we had the opportunity to meet her in person when we checked in. She took care of all our needs. The room that I stayed in was clean, nice and suited our needs.
Everyone we encountered at the hotel was extremely nice. The room was definitely clean. The TVs do not allow streaming, the air conditioner units while keeping the room cool or extremely loud. The hot breakfast was not hot and the selection not very good. But again, if you were looking for a clean room, this is the place to go.
Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean from the lobby to the rooms. Updated and modern appearance with bedding and decor. Friendly and professional employees! Convenient to sight seeing and local restaurants. We didn't get up in time for breakfast, but a hot breakfast is included in your stay. 😊
My wife and I drove to pace and for a thrifting from flagstaff. The Best Western staff was warm welcome and professional when we checked in, the rooms were clean, I would definitely stay here again and plan to on our next trip to Payson
This hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff was top-notch, very friendly and professional. The housekeeping was impeccable. We will definitely be back to Payson and stay here. Highly recommend.
Stayed here 2 nights as part of a road trip. Plenty of free parking. Staff Polite, friendly and helpful. Good size room, clean and tidy Microwave and fridge. Large TV with a range of channels but had a generic remote with limited functionality, unable to change the screen format for some programs. AC a bit noisy! Comfy beds. Wi-Fi down 15mbps, up 7.5mbps. Bathroom reasonable size, good lighting and large mirror. Counter top ok but several inches of wasted space either end, could have been at least 18 inches longer! Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Breakfast area seemed a bit small, could be an overspill somewhere? Reasonable selection. Did not use the pool or fitness room. Quite impressed with the number of solar panels on the roof. Good to see! Some eateries within easy walking distance. Buffalo Bar and Grill next door, good food and atmosphere. Safeway a short walking distance. Would consider staying again I in the area.
My family stayed at the Best Western in Payson for a quick trip to visit family. We were very pleased with the rooms (clean and comfy!) and extremely pleased with the level of customer service we received both before arriving and during our stay. We needed additional accommodations during our stay and the manager was very helpful in making sure we had all we needed in our room before arriving. The cleaning staff was also great!
We had a great stay as the location was close to our planned activities, parking was easy and you could walk to great restaurants!! One morning we even saw a group of elk eating some foliage at an empty lot next door and learned of their interesting antics from the very friendly desk clerk. We will definitely return to Payson and stay here again!!
Very comfortable stay here. No carpeting in the rooms which gives a much cleaner feel than carpet. Management, if you read this: the Only downside is the halls still have carpet and they desperately need to be shampooed. The stains took away from the clean feel of the rest of the place which kept me from giving 5 stars. Pool was clean and the hot tub adjoins the pool which was nice. Breakfast the day we were there was a potato/sausage/pepper mix which was very good. Would stay here again while traveling.
It was a great stay at Best Western Inn of Payson for me and my family. We always stay here when visiting family. Love the indoor pool and hot breakfast. The rooms are always clean and service was incredible.
I stayed at the Best Western for a weekend visit with family who live there in Payson. I stay at many Best Westerns and this was pretty typical of what I expected. I had a comfortable, clean and quiet room. The TV worked fine and I had good breakfasts both mornings.
Check in was easy and seamless. Room and public spaces were very clean. Location is great and the indoor pool and hot tub is a plus. The staff are very attentive and eager to help in any way needed. The breakfast could be better and pool towels look like hand towels and need replacing due to tears and stains but otherwise a great stay!
A little difficult to enter the property from the main road, but an excellent facility for the cost! Well managed, well maintained. Very courteous and professional staff. This facility is a gem! Overall a top notch facility!
The day manager was so friendly! He even provided a string for our cat to play with. The weekend manager helped me solve a problem with my cell phone! Because we had our cat with us, we didn't want strangers entering our room because Princess would be frightened. The were so obliging and let us swap out towels etc. as we needed to.
Love to stay here when traveling Hot and cold options for breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff Hotel has a clean and safe environment. Close to all Places we are Needing to be at. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi are nice for relaxing after flight
Shower was dirty, sheets had stains, towels were dirty, white stains on the headboard of bed. Overall poor cleanliness of the room. Standard was that of a 50$ a night motel. Would not stay again at this location.
We have always stayed at Best Westerns, and this particular hotel lacked amenities that we have come to expect from the brand. Although the facility was very clean, the room amenities were lacking, only one coffee, only one bar of soap, towels were small (like you get at a Super 8 the size of a dish towel)and very worn. For $170, we were very disappointed and I think there are possibly better choices while staying in Payson.
This was a truly awesome experience! The manager Stephanie was very gracious with business discounts for my stay and providing information that was helpful to my business trip. I am very pleased! Thank you Stephanie and Best Western!
Probably one of the better places to stay in Payson besides a B&B. Rooms for the most part clean. Nothing fancy here but well situated in town close to just about everything. Tucked back behind other businesses so easy to miss if you blink.
We stayed here two nights. First night at the beginning of our trip to the SW, and near the end of our stay. Room was clean and spacious with plenty of counter space. Liked the hooks on the wall. Front desk clerk was exceptional. (we had the same clerk both days, afternoon shift.) Too tired to use the pool.
This is an older hotel but has everything one needs. Comfortable bed and good location and a nice hot breakfast and good coffee. Suggestion is a comfortable chair for reading. Just a hard desk chair or soft bed. Front desk person nice and informative. There is a working elevator. Good air conditioner.
Best Western has always been my favorite for a clean hotel with availability of a jacuzzi room. This "king suite" was nothing more than a regular room with a jacuzzi set beside the bed and a fake fireplace mounted in the wall. Fireplace didn't even look real. Small room for a suite. TV was in some kind of low-def mode and hard to watch. Lots of trash and homeless articles outside the rear entrance.
The hotel is conveniently located in the central section of the Payson. It's an easy on and off stop. The fitness center was very limited in its machines, so I was glad that no one else was waiting. Even though the hours began at 6:00 a.m., it wasn't a problem accessing it a little bit earlier. Breakfast bar had several options.
This is a really nice property for a stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is very pleasant and professional. I usually travel with my own pillows, but they are not needed when I stay at this property :) I like the hot breakfast, something for everyone to choose from - Cereal, waffles, toast variety, other goodies and yummy stuff. Will stay again and recommend.
Room was noisy with AC unit making loud noises, hard to sleep. Fan in bathroom didn't work. They tried to repair, but still didn't work. Should of replaced it with a new one since we were there for 3 nights.
Traveled on impulse and found ourselves in Payson on memorial weekend without reservations. Yeah being spontaneous usually works out that way This was available at a premium from the advertised $174. Expected that would happen. The clerk at check in wasn't friendly, she had a problem with people who live at the same address having 2 different last names. Room was clean and it's off the drag by a little so at least we got decent night's sleep. As usual the curtains didn't completely close and the light outside the window kept Kathleen up. The normal trick of using pant hangers to clip them shut, was hard as the hangers were made not to be removed. A little elbow grease cured that. In the morning opening the curtains before fully dressed was s problem as there were no shears so the car parked in front of the window had a view directly in. The motel six down the street was $199, (notice a pattern here) i figured spend the $30 and get a better quality room, right... Wrong I've stayed at a lot of places and for $229 i got screwed. I mean one serving of coffee for 2 people, and when we went to open it it completely tore spilling coffee all over the floor. This used to be a quaint town with reasonable prices, but we won't be back to this hotel or this town . Show Low, Pine-Top Flagstaff all are better choices
Great room accommodations, clean, good size, dinner restaurant (steak) was awesome, breakfast was ok, location great, away from the busyness of downtown Williams, the music was great at dinner, great selections, looked like the poutdoor pool would be inviting in the summer
this hotel is in a great location. lots of food places to go to and even bars in walking distance. the room was very clean however the springs on the bed was loud. they have a indoor pool too. breakfest was ok but small area to sit. but overall stay was great.
This hotel is very clean and the staff was great to work with and extremely accommodating! Breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and I will definitely stay here again.
The hotel was in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby. It also had many hiking trails close by. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful for recommendations. Would enjoy going back.
Hotel super easy to find, right on the main road. Kind of in a tough spot between a Burger King and apartments. Room really nice and clean and bathroom had to be recently updated. All super nice. Close to a good place for a meal and easy access to everything up in Payton!
Clean accommodations. Very friendly staff. Great hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage. There were healthy options for my husband " boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, and muffins. I got the sofa bed and it was quite comfortable. Staff provided the extra towels and linens we needed right away.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. One minor quibble was that the placement of furniture made it a little cramped. Breakfast was excellent. The checkin and checkout was a breeze.
This hotel cuts corners and does NOT recognize Diamond members. I did not get my bottle waters. I was told I had to pay $40 a night for an upgrade which I was never asked to pay for an upgrade at any other BW. I realize upgrades are not mandatory for Diamond or Platinum members but every other BW I've stayed at treated us like royalty. This hotel didn't care what level you are. The bathtub in my room was extremely slippery. I fell out of the bathtub my back hit the toilet and had a very large painful bruise on my back the next day. I let the front desk know I fell and was told nonslip bath mats are available upon request. I've never had to request a bathmat at any hotel, let alone a BW. I've stayed at BW for years and this was one of the cheapest non caring I've stayed at. The staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly.
Hotel was great for the price. Rooms were quiet spacious and affordable. Indoor pool was a great bonus. Only negative has nothing to do with the hotel but Payson. I just wasn't impressed with the restaurants around town.
Great hotel with attentive staff and comfortable updated rooms. The staff is awesome! The bed was wonderful! The location was a convenient location in town. This Best Western will be my choice whenever I stay in Payson.
This hotel is in a good location on the main street of Payson. The staff is helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The carpets in the hallway could use a good clean or replacement. Overall the hotel could use some upgrading. They were working on the roof 7am-3pm while we were there. Room price was competitive.
This hotel is located near the center of Payson. It's a two-story hotel with interior corridors. The rooms are fairly large and clean, with all the usual amenities. The desk clerk was friendly. The breakfast offerings were somewhat limited, due to COVID-19 restrictions, but it was acceptable.
Just stayed one night. Room was okay but no view of anything but parking lot and bright light at night.. Breakfast was a grab bag when the other best westerns were serving full breakfast. Overpriced for what you get.
Good rates and clean and good services will recommendto any body traveling to Payson Arizona. Lots of restaurants around lots of good places to eat. There is also a Walmart store down the street that be useful.
We stayed at this hotel in February and returned again. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable including the bed, couch, desk & chair, lots of plug ins, full bathroom, refrigerator microwave, enough closet space mirrors - a great place for some r & r. They advertise a full breakfast but because of Covid only give brown bags for breakfast - coffee available 24/7.
GOOD: Steven, the gentleman who checked us in was EXCELLENT! Very personable and speedy. Room was clean and everything worked well. BAD: The hotel has been renovated and looks good...not real useful furniture, but it looks good. Due to Covid, there was no hot breakfast served (which I totally understand). However, the breakfast they did serve in a small brown bag consisted of a 6 oz yogurt, small apple, and an over-processed really gross muffin. It came with plastic silverware and a napkin that was wrapped so tight we could have used a flame on it and made a prison shiv! Of course, they did NOT charge less for the hotel room - kept the price the same even though they didn't have to serve a hot breakfast! During this same trip, we stayed in another hotel and they offered cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc - a MUCH better breakfast. We used the hot tub and asked for pool towels - they were threadbare and the size of a postage stamp! They were unraveling and so thin you could see through them! There is a sign on the pool door (it's an indoor pool) that says to dry off completely before leaving...good luck with that! I'd say whoever runs this hotel REALLY needs to upgrade their services if they want to compete.
When we checked in, the staff at the front desk were excellent. They went above and beyond. Coffee 24/7 and it's good. Very clean. Motorcycle friendly. Don't hesitate to book a room here. Payson is a beautiful place and the Best Western is a great place to stay.
My wife and I decide we needed a night to our self's. The staff were great, the property and room was very clean , the in room jacuzzi was very romantic, and the room was comfortable and snug. We will defiantly be going back.
The hotel is in like new condition. The room was well appointed and very clean. The front desk person was extremely polite and knowledgeable. They have parking available for trucks and trailers as well.
Room was clean, comfortable and just enough for our needs. The staff was wonderful with helping us with any of our needs or issues. We will use Best Western again based on this experience. Love the indoor jacuzzi and pool.
We are traveling home after my grandpa's memorial. Shelly at the front desk was awesome and very accommodating, even pointed us to a great place for dinner! Check in was a breeze, especially since we booked it last minute. Our room was quiet and at the back of the hotel. We had the whirlpool room, and it was so needed after a long wknd and driving in from OK. Room was clean and bed was moderately comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
The pictures made the rooms look modern and up to date however they were dirty and dingy in real life. Chipped paint, broken window locks, hole in window glass, grimy light switches and a vinyl floor so dirty my brand new socks were black by the end of the day. Would not stay again.
Nicest staff friendliest guests. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel. The pool was nice to relax in at night. I enjoy that Bobbi and Pauline know my name and treat me so well. You guys ROCK! Thank you for making my visit so nice.
Our room was very clean and so was the lobby. Staff was friendly and efficient and gave very good directions for walking to a restaurant. We were also advised to watch our step since it had snowed the night before. Breakfast was OK and definitely not the worst we have had since Covid-19 protocol has been in place.
The BW team took great care of me during a recent winter storm that delayed my journey home. They found me a room, let me check in early and at no time did I feel that I was inconveniencing anyone. They were great! My room was spotless! I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to, or through, the Payson area.
Everything from the last minute call (checking rate and availability) to check out was amazing!! Mike is AWESOME! The only thing was the door to get in the room was broken, just a good push to open without the key but it locked from the inside. We checked in at 2am driving from California so it was late and we were tired to complain about the door. The room was super squeaky clean, even before we Lysoled the room down.
I have stayed in hotels and worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years. I am very picky about staying at any hotels. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean. Very nice staff. I highly recommend if you travel to Payson Arizona this is the place to be. The Payson chamber of commerce recommended this hotel to me. I was overly pleased!
We were attending a classic car event with our car and Bobby Patel (manager) saved us a very "safe" parking space for our car by parking his personal car in the space until we arrived to the hotel at the end of each day to reserve the space for us. Talk about going above and beyond for customer service!!! The room was very comfortable and clean. Best hotel experience ever!!! We will definitely be staying at the Best Western, Payson from now on!
Traveling from LA area stopped in Payson for the night. Great room with jacuzzi tub, king bed and fireplace in wall mounted next to the bed. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Brown paper bag for breakfast. Nice, quite and clean.
Stayed a few nights, room was very clean. Parking available was very good. Front desk people were friendly, especially Bobbi. (hope that was his correct name) Quiet there and very convenient location.
This hotel is exceptionally clean. Staff was polite and helpful. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast -so cannot comment on that. Great treadmill in the workout room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our car broke down in Payson, and we needed a last minute room for the family. They were kind, quick and welcomed us! Room & everything was very clean. Had some breakfast grab n go bags and walking distance from lots of food options while our car was fixed.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The pools and rooms were kept very clean. In fact, this is the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in a long time. My family and I felt very safe. We met the hotel owner and he was very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
Very friendly staff. The lady checking us in was very informative and personable! Had a few minor issues while there. Heater in the pool was down, was a bummer but not a deal breaker. Our room key was acting up the second day, took a couple of trips to the office but it was corrected. Mainly just wish they had a few more breakfast options. I know with Covid everything is changing but 1 mini muffin a day is not breakfast to me.
Although the receptionist made every effort to be helpful, the check-in time was over 30 minutes and we needed to be up very early the next morning. When we arrived at our room, the clean hardwood floor was absolutely bare and cold - the room was very cold (improved once we turned on the heater) - the kingsize bed was comfortable but also cold (better once the receptionist brought us two blankets - and the receptionist assured us we could pick up our breakfast on our way out... but we only received one instead of two - and had to check out later by phone. The receptionist did mention they had recently switched from Days Inn to Best Western... so, hopefully things will be better in the future!
Clean Hotel, comfortable beds, newly remodeled. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. I did not use the pool/hot tub, but it looked inviting. There is an exercise room as well. I would stay again.
Great stay. They upgraded and remodeled the whole hotel Looks amazing. Rooms are comfortable, clean and inviting. Love the bathroom mirror light. Pillows are amazing. Breakfast could be better. But overall great stay
Very friendly and accommodating staff!! Beautiful, updated rooms!! Great location!! Within close proximity/walking distance to many restaurants (both fast food and sit down)!! Will definitely be staying here for future hotel needs in Payson!!
This is not a fancy hotel nor is it intended to be. The common areas are dated but who cares, it is clean and kept up. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Room has been updated and bed was comfortable. Best aspect is that front desk attendant, I think Shelley, changed our room upon request. A couple of children were in the room next to us (well behaved but we were worried they would be up later) and we requested a little buffer. Request was taken care of immediately. Would definitely stay again.
Needed a place to spend one night in payson on our way to the valley. This motel met all my criteria; clean, friendly, located centrally with stores and restaurants walking distance, safe, updated, WiFi and breakfast included. And a surprise bonus- huge hd tv with a great selection of channels. Perfect,
This is the best Best Western hotel we have stayed in. It is comparable to Hampton Inn and even more comfortable compared to some. The hotel was remodeled and powered with solar. The location is just perfect, close to restaurants and shopping center. We stayed 2 nights to enjoy Tonto Natural Bridge and Mogollon Rim. The area surroundings are so beautiful. The Hwy 87 and 260 are beautiful highways. I would recommend stay here. The room we had was large with a king size bed, tv, microwave, fridge, and no carpet (all wood laminated floor). It is very clean and modern. We enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi also. We stayed on the 1st floor but there is an elevator to go to higher floor. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The only improvement I can see would be the Breakfast menu. Although there are waffles, cut up fruit would be nice(just like in Hampton) instead of just bananas, apples, and oranges. But it is just a small improvement, I would stay here again. I was wondering why 4-stars? Maybe from the one before it was remodeled.
My husband & I stayed in a King size room with TV, fridge and microwave. The room was spacious and the facilities were clean. There was one armchair in the room but it would have been nice to have either two armchairs or a double seater tp avoid one of us having sit on the bed. There is a good variety of breakfast products although not very diabetic friendly, for example there was only sweet butter, no salted butter or low fat spreads. The hot food made up for it though
Stayed one night while on a 10-day road trip. This is an older hotel but has recently been completely remodeled and now looks like a new modern hotel. I was not happy with our check-in since the clerk to his time before even looking up at us and the entire time we were being registered he yawned out loud which I found very unprofessional. Our room was great ... internet and breakfast were great. All services worked well and other than our check-in experience, the hotel was fine.
Good enough for a one or two night stay. Decent for this quality of hotel. No HD TV irritating for 2019. Breakfast is not very good. I can't thing of anything else to say that will be a 200 character review.
All employees went above and beyond, front desk...gentleman who checked us in at midnight....lady at breakfast....lady who checked us out. I'm telling you, this was a unique experience. At most hotels there is always one or two who stand out, but at this hotel, everyone stood out and made this an enjoyable experience. That is rare.....to have everyone so kind and helpful. We will be back, and you can count on us yelling from rooftops how good this hotel is and everyone we know traveling to Payson, AZ will be told where to stay. Thank you all for such a positive experience. Hotel was super clean.
This location is very clean, looks brand new! Breakfast was very good! The night clerk is truly awesome! The room was very roomy, not small. Wish we had planned on staying more nights. The rate was reasonable. Morning staff was very friendly! Overall this hotel is one of the nicest! Also in middle of town, so easy walk to places.
We usually book with BW and were happy to see they had a place in Payson. It had recently been totally renovated and was wonderful. Spacious and clean rooms, pleasant staff. Breakfast was good as well. For the price we paid, this is a bargain. Will stay here again when we are next in town for sure.
The hotel was completely gutted and overhauled and it showed. Fabulous hotel and extremely well done. Pool and hot tub were spot on for cleanliness and the right chemicals in the water. The only thing that I'd love to see is people STOP bringing pets into a "pet free" hotel that are clearly NOT service pets at all. Just STOP. A service pet doesn't bark incessantly when you leave them in a room and you don't leave your service pet behind - you need them. Stop being idiots and leave your dog at home like we do.
I really didn't expect much but when we got there. We were pleasant surprised. The service and our room was exceptional. It appeared it was newly renovated and the rooms are very modern. Would recommend staying here and we look forward coming back.
We found this Best Western to be more than adequate for our stay. The rooms have been freshly updated with new furniture, bedding and modern bathroom fixtures. It was clean and cand the beds were comfortable. It was cool enough that we could open the window and not have the AC motor going. The breakfast was OK. All the employees were pleasant and helpful. One point off for not having a working ice machine.
The location is near several restaurants, the highway and stores. It is newly remodeled in a contemporary style that pleases the eye. The staff was professional. The WiFi is a bit slow but breakfast was DELISH and the indoor pool & weight room were an added bonus!!
Arrived early so thought we'd check and yes the room was ready, couldn't have been more friendly and informative. Recently updates with lots of new, flooring, furniture, fixtures all looked new. Great location. Glad we selected this BW and like the points. We will stay again when in the area.
Payson's Best Western has been newly remodeled and I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating for early check-in. My room was very clean and the king bed very comfortable. It's conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were super enjoyable. My only complaint would be the very low shower water pressure, otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.
We were on an Arizona road trip for my husbands birthday. Along the way we stayed every night at a BW property. This was by far the worst of the properties we stayed at. The property has been recently remodeled however, the elevator is still not working. The desk clerk stated he was waiting on the inspection. I have a very bad knee so cannot do stairs well. The clerk was thoughtful and did give us a first floor room. Although the decor is very modern and appealing we found the bathroom mirror and shower head too high. There wasn't a mirror in the main area so that I could get ready while hubby showered. Hard surfaced flooring is throughout the entire room. Although I am sure it's easier to care for we are not fans as if you get up in the night that cold floor will wake you up! We did notice that the stairways up to the 2nd floor did not have any hand railings. My husband had been in the construction industry when he worked. He was curious how the place received an occupancy permit without a railing? After check in we left for the evening. Upon our return we could not find a parking spot as it's a very small lot. After driving around several times we finally found one. It is obvious though that there is not a spot for each room. Breakfast is included with your room, which is another reason we chose BW for our trip. It saves time to be able to grab a quick bite before getting back on the road. We went to eat an hour before the end time. There was no breakfast meat of any kind. The strawberry waffle topping had only traces left and breakfast danish was non existent unless bran muffins count. Our biggest complaint however deals with an issue we had at check in. After running our credit card the desk clerk kept the card and was writing something down. My husband asked what he was doing. He stated he was writing down our card information in case it didn't go through the machine. What? This is unacceptable....why on earth would he do this and if this is common practice what happens to these pieces of paper with peoples cards numbers on? Are they properly shredded? No we will not return here ever.
We were very happy with our stay. This hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are clean and bright. The bed is comfy and it's a convenient location. The staff at check in were very nice, friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to book a room here again.
The hotel was Under construction and we were told that they would still be normal services like breakfast and everything would be fine there was no breakfest, the staff was rude, the construction workers told me to get out of their way, and there was CONSTRUCTION debris everywhere the Room that was supposedly finished look like a 5th grade classroom came in to do the work, glue on the floor, paint where it should not be and missing where it should, no towel bars had to get out of shower and reach under cabinet to get a towel, it was a bad night, the out side door hit the wall on our head board so all night we where getting woke up, and then the constitution worker started making a lot of noise about 6 a.m.
This very old property is being partially renovated. The entire 2nd floor is closed but the rooms directly below them are being rented out. We were woken up at 7 am. The owners and construction person were present when we checked out. I mentioned the noise and the fact that the workers were directly above our room. I stated that there was surely a way to coordinate the construction and room rentals to limit the impact on guests. I was met with blank stares all around. The room rates are not discounted despite the construction and imposition to guests nor do the owners seem to care. I recommend staying anywhere but this property.
Owner has worst customer service I have ever experienced - he made a mistake and cancelled the wrong night of my reservation while the town was booked solid leaving us with no room for the night - do not stay here if you can help it
This was by far the nicest Days Inn I have stayed at. The rooms were clean and everything seemed to be new. Great location for our trip, as it was in the center of everything. I would highly recommend this property.
Large, clean, quiet rooms everytime. Always excellent, experienced, friendly, helpful service staff. I have stayed in all of the hotels in Payson over the years and this one is the best without a doubt.
