"Most Uncomfortable Night in a Hotel I Have Experienced"

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a single night as we were passing through the city. We arrived a few hours after check in and were greeting with a staff member that seemed he had never worked in customer service. He did not make eye contact with us, did not smile, and did not converse with us more than to confirm the card I would be paying with. When we eventually went to get ready for bed, we pulled back the sheets and noticed that all of them plus the comforter were obviously stained with what appeared to be coffee or blood. In addition, there were numerous long black hairs in the bedding and other stains I couldn't identify. I noticed the front desk and barely received even an apology. A stack of new sheets was brought up by a staff member who expected we would remake the entire bed ourselves. We asked her to take a look at the bedding at the least before leaving and then she apologized and offered to make the bed. When she striped the sheets we could see that the mattress was badly stained with blood. Once the bed was remade my partner and I decided to lay out our used clothes as it felt more clean than the sheets. Aside from this, the towels were also filled with black hairs, we were only given towels for one guest despite booking for two, and the continental breakfast was frozen. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel.

Worst experience, dirty rooms. Felt like I was scammed. Imagine this. I came back 130am with my wife from our NY, key was not working so I went to front desk. They left a note on the front desk saying they will be back at 5am. Not a single soul was there to help. Tried calling other best western hotels close to the area to help us reach the manager but they too were not able to help. Called customer service they too could not reach anybody. They advised me to call the police because my stuff is locked in the room. I hesitated coz iI didn't want to create a scene and disturb the other guests. Ended up at the sofa. No washroom around so we had to suck it in. We didn't sleep and waited for almost 4 hours. Carpet infront of front desk has bugs crawling. We were terrified it might get into our stuffs d take it home. I took pictures of the note that they left including the pics of our dirty washroom. Finally when front desk showed up he didn't give a meaningful explanation. What jingle if hotel leave their guests? What if there is an emergency? So when I came ba k to the room guess what? Garbage we left was still there and the bed is not fixed. We paid for 4 nights and the garbage we had from day 1 was never thrown and the room not serviced. Oh one more thing, the peep hole was missing by the door. They put a tape and put what looks like a tissue paper to cover the hole. This is the worst experience I had. I usually don't complain but this one pushed my boundaries and patience and turned a vacation into a nightmare.

The property is very clean, so were the rooms. The clerks were very accommodating when we needed extra sheets, comforters… The location isn't the best, frankly, 8 minute walk to the closest bus stop and buses come by every 20-30 minutes and are usually very crowded. There's also no laundry on site and the closest laundromat is 2 buses and 35 minutes away -if you're lucky. Continental breakfast is the same everyday. Bag that contains: 1 Croissant with a small butter and strawberry packet, 1 Egg and Cheese sandwich, 1 Apple juice, 1 cupcake. A little variety would've been nice. Stayed in a room with a queen sized bed. Bathroom is good, mattress is too soft, personally made me uncomfortable sleeping in. Internet is decent, NO DESKS OR CHAIRS, surprisingly. Iron available. Not worth the price (120CAD per night) but it's the cheapest we could find. If I'd stay there again -I wouldn't mind but I'd make sure it's short-term. Bring lots of clothes.

It was nice. Very close to airport and not too far from downtown Toronto. I would recommend this spot if you were trying to find a good hotel that is cost effective! Walk-in shower was very large and perfect for couples

"You get what you paid for"

You get what you paid for. It's affordable and convenient. The room were not super clean... The breakfast is a grab bag of cold things in plastic wraps. The hotel is next to an event venue so it was very noisy, loud music, people in the parking lot talking loudly at 3 am... If you're on a budget it's alright.

You get what you pay for. Buyer beware. The hotel needs a complete overhaul. Renovation should definitely be considered a high priority. Paying extra for adding a little love to this hotel would be worth it.

Very nice hotel, big room and also clean, the employees at the reception are kind and helpful. The breakfast is good, they give a lot for a breakfast per person. Close to the airport and easy to find. If we go back to Toronto, we will book again. We are very happy with their service.

It was a comfortable stay. they provided nice atmosphere and clean service. As I left the hotel early in the morning, I was not able to experience breakfast and the next time I need to stay near The Toronto Pearson Airport, I definitely would like to stay in this hotel so that I can experience more.

"A quiet place not far from the airport"

This is in a peaceful area, with open fields around it and very little traffic, so slept well. The air-conditioning works well. Although it's near the airport by Toronto/Mississauga standards, it's five kilometres, so you have to get a taxi. And the downside is breakfast is just a bag you get at reception.

Once I found the place (location is NOT quite as described online) check-in was quick. The bed was comfortable, but the shower sprayed all over the floor (who thought the plain hanging curtain was a good design?). The bed was super comfortable and the heating controls were easy to figure out - unlike the TV remote. The front desk guy spent 10 minutes and finally figured it out, though he is not sure just what he did to make it work. Check-out took longer than I hoped; the staff did not have the clearance/knowledge to apply my Best Western vouchers. They did sort it out - after I was 3,000 km away, at home.

"Terrible front desk Service"

My disabled wife's check in was delayed for almost 1hr by front desk staff that were unable to confirm a reservation that I made on the Best Western website and a Confirmation Number was provided. Even a cup of complimentary coffee during the wait was discouraged by staff because of concerns that a customer may not have a confirmation number. My wife has anxiety and she traveled by herself. She was then treated as without having a confirmation, she would not have a room to stay the night. A tortuous situation for someone that has anxiety. At least allow the coffee to calm her down, don't be so cheap with customers and potential customers.

Dear Guest, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. However, we would like to bring to your attention that we couldn't identify if the guest was disabled as there were no signs to indicate the same. We would have certainly gone out of our way to make the guest feel comfortable had we known but would still like to apologize for whatever the guest went through. Secondly, even though the guest had the booking confirmation, the reservation was not reflecting in our system due to a technical glitch, which made it impossible for us to check the guest in. We requested some time from the guest to sort it out and asked the guest to be seated in the lobby. Despite many unsuccessful attempts to sort the issue out and check the guest in, we handed over a room key to the guest so that the guest would not have to wait any longer in the lobby. Thirdly, we never discouraged the guest for a cup of coffee. We have a tea/coffee maker in the lobby specifically for guests and visitors which is complimentary for all , 24x7. We once again apologize for the inconvenience caused and look forward to serve you again in the future to make your stay a memorable one.

"Noisy and other issues"

Booked for two nights only stayed for one - that's how bad it was. Got barely any sleep as we could hear banging from the neighbors room at all hours of the night (this place need more / better soundproofing) and the AC was really loud too. Bed was really sinky which didn't help. Other minor issues included a leaky shower head that sprayed everywhere and AC was covered in dust. Was given no option for refund for second night as we booked through a third party and not the hotel (even though we paid at the hotel). Never again would rather sleep in my car.

The room is small and no table or chair to work. Need better Sound proof for truck noise. Lobby is nice and you can work there. But only use the printer for one or two pages and do not speak on the phone, as one front desk staff there will be upset if you print more than few pages and speak loud. Take note the Lobby will echo. He will yell at you.

The hotel itself doesn't offer much and it provides with the basic amenities you would expect from an average hotel. however if you just look for a place to sleep, the price is unbeatable. also parking is free which i found it useful.

Difficult to locate - I could not find their actual address online, and the hotel is not visible from the intersection listed. First impression: nice looking building, but surrounded by cement. No landscaping and no portico at the entrance. Check in went smoothly, but the room was surprisingly small. Which would explain the price. The grab & go breakfast is left outside your door in the morning, which is a nice touch.

Brand new build! Clean, modern facility with nice finishes and furniture. Hotel situated in an area very close to Pearson International Airport. The staff are extremely hospitable, customer-centred, and professional and are a fine reflection of the community/neighbourhood where the hotel is situated. The gentleman who looked after us was so friendly, we felt as if we were being welcomed into his home! The only downside, in our opinion, is that the rooms are a tad smaller than one would expect of a usual BW property but this was a very minor issue for us as we were only in for one night. This being said, the bed was probably the most comfortable one I've slept on in a hotel for quite some time and the room and building itself were spotless. By far the best bang for the buck near the airport... we'll be back!

Tremendous again. Fourth time at this location. Great when picking up at Airport. There is covered parking which is nice during winter. Excellent staff. Very helpful. Room is very nice. Internet easy to access.
