Best Western Liverpool-Syracuse Inn & Suites

The look of the room is very nice with granite counters in the bathroom and tile floors. The rooms also have laminate floors, not carpeting, which is good for allergy and asthma sufferers. The hotel staff is nice and the breakfast features real eggs and sausage, which is a step up from what so many others serve. The rooms have the heat and A/C thermostat controls, which is convenient. However ---- the hot water is still having problems! It's a good thing I woke up very early the morning of this issue and found that only hot water was coming out of the bathroom and shower faucets. I could not shower lest it keep getting hotter and I scald myself. After checking the 5-6 rooms that were unbooked, the front desk worker said those were also having hot water-only issues. Then I offered to go to a room that had not been cleaned yet, and she brought me a key card for a room that had not yet been cleaned. so I could shower. What a hassle! I put my clothes and toiletries in my carry on, went upstairs, showed, dressed and want back to my room. Then when I got back late that eventing I found they had removed the shower faucet and no one bothered to call me to tell me I'd have a new room assignment! I was dog-tired from the hassle of the morning and the long day, and then I had to pack my bags and hustle up to my new room assignment. They could have called me and told me to stop at the front desk for a new room. I guess it was no big deal to them to have removed my shower faucet but not bother to call me. I had to call the front desk when I got back that evening and tell them, "I have no shower anymore and I need a new room." What a disorganized place with poor communication between front desk personnel and customers. Also, the mattresses were uncomfortable. The shower heads are severely flow restricted. If you go there, ask for a room not on the freeway side. That's the quiet side. And don't unpack completely lest you have to pack up and move to a new room from the water problems.

We stayed here one night, midpoint of a trip. The hotel was fine for what we needed. Everything worked, the room was comfortable (once we figured out how to control the heating system), and staff was friendly. The only glitch was that they had left us double conditioner and no shampoo, but we had our own shampoo so didn't bother to contact the staff, who I am confident would have fixed it. I would stay here again next time I'm passing through.

We specifically chose the Jacuzzi room for a nice date night and not only was there an issue with the water pressure and water was leaking, but when we finally got the tub filled, the jets did not work. It took forever for us to get someone to come look at it and then we were offered a full refund or 50% off to stay. I appreciated the discount, but it would be nice to know that they were function checking those rooms before allowing someone to pay for them.

Feces in the pool. Black mold covering the pool/hot tub ceiling. Cold showers. Breakfast was a joke. Halls were covered with trash and old towels. Halls haven't been vacuumed in days/weeks/months! Stains and bedding smelled used.

The whole stay, if you can call it that, was a disaster. The staff was not friendly at check in and announced our room number aloud upon handing us our key card. They didn't give any information about the amenities, breakfast or even directions to our room. Upon entry we began our cleanliness check and found blood streaks on the sheets (indication of bed begs) and a bed bug carcass underneath a mattress. In lieu of an actual duvet or comforter, a mattress pad was folded between sheets. After these initial first impressions we were uncomfortable with the cleanliness and safety and chose to leave before the cancellation period had enacted. My credit card was charged in full and despite my insistence that notes be made on the reservation regarding these details there seems to be no communication between the staff. When I call to have these charges reversed there is no information and I'm jumping through hoops to get a hold of anyone who can help me.

From check in to departure this Property was substandard. Broken or missing items in the room. Impossible internet access or room access cards not working. Dirty room. Breakfast is NOT until 10am… we arrived on a Sunday at 0930 there was little to no food and they were cleaning the area.

No hot water No maid service if stay more than 2 days. I stayed 9 On day 5 had to arrange for them to come in next day. Housekeeping advised they would have to finish later with the bedding because there is no extra Wi-Fi was so so I left my tablet behind and housekeeping never put it in list and found

The hotel was fine and staff were great. The bed was comfortable. Pillows a bit disapointing. Bathrooms needs some renovations. We got down to the lobby for the free breakfast just before 10 when it was supposed to end. However the staff continued to fill things even after 10 as a few folks were still eating. The hotel was clean and quiet.

We were on our way back home to Canada and needed a one night stay. It is close to the highways. It was also close to some restaurants. The hotel was fine and staff were great. The bed was comfortable. (we bring our own pillows from home on road trips). We got down to the lobby for the free breakfast just before 10 when it was supposed to end. However the staff continued to fill things even after 10 as a few folks were still eating. The hotel was clean and quiet. The worst thing is that the price we pre-paid on Expedia was more than we could have paid when we checked in. Not the hotel's fault. The staff offered us extra points just to be nice.

Very satisfied with BW hotels. My family enjoyed very much. Our first pick is BW hotels when ever we go out of the town/State. This hotel look like a 4 star hotel when I compared with our last satyed in another state BW hotel. Honestly, no negative comments on this hotel from us.

This is a very fine hotel. We stayed one night and enjoyed it very much. Very clean and well run. Staff very professional and helpful. Directions to nearby Wegman's food store allowed us to relax in our room. Pet friendly made it extra special. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was particularly impressed with the helpfulness of front desk manager Nicole Hoke. She took the time to figure out how to enter my Alaska mileage number into the Best Western computer system so that I would get mileage credit for my stay.

This hotel is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! I love the continental breakfast and the hot tub! The room was very comfortable the hotel was quiet and easy to manuever around. Great location near the thruway and Rt. 81

My husband and I went to Syracuse area to visit our granddaughter on her birthday. Front desk staff (Nicole) was knowledgeable and fast. Very nice stay!! Room and bathroom were very clean, breakfast was replenished quickly, pool was clean and warm. Towels were plentiful.

Very decent size rooms, recently upgraded and conveniently located off the highway. The service and hotel staff were very friendly. Room was very clean. Would recommend for the price to use as an overnight destination or pitstop to recharge prior to reaching your destination.

I booked this Best Western upon reading all the positive reviews beforehand. It had all the checkmarks I always look for as a mom with young kids: clean, in-room fridge, friendly staff, the 3 inclusives (wifi, breakfast, parking), and above all, the highlight of an indoor swimming pool! Also, the location was ideal. It offered an easy commute to the family attraction of WonderWorks at Destiny USA. Upon hotel entrance, we were greeted warmly by Nicole, who handed me a package I'd sent to the hotel, addressed in my name. I'd previously communicated with the staff concerning this parcel, via Micheala (spelling?), and had all preparations approved. During our stay, I also met TT (spelling?), another front desk personnel, and all three ladies—Nicole, Micheala, and TT—proved friendly and professional. Nicole even ensured me that we would have gluten-free bread for breakfast, the next morning. And, she came through! The next morning, Gale, the breakfast attendant, graciously served up that bread, prepared by slices, upon on a plate personally handed to us. So, all the hotel personnel whom we encountered were accommodating and approachable. The trouble began, however, as we entered Room 206. Indeed, it was a sunny, comfortable-looking room. But, immediately, the air felt humid, and the carpet, damp. When I lay my hand on the coffee pot counter, I happened to touch some crumbs and picked up a sunflower seed, too. So, I proceeded to wet a wad of toilet paper in order to give the whole countertop, including backsplash, a simple wipe. To my shock, the toilet paper came up black when I finished. I don't know when it was last dusted. I went on to inspect the dust in the rest of the room and found the tops of the headboards to be covered thick with dust, and the insides of drawers to hold visible lint. I thought these inspections were routine for hotel housekeeping. We'd just arrived from Best Western Plus Victor Inn & Suites, where I'd gone through our room in the same way without finding any misses, like this. I'm allergic to dust. I have to be careful. Holding onto the wad of blackened toilet paper in my hand, I headed towards the door to go downstairs. I wanted to show it to Nicole. I didn't want her to think I made it up. On my way out, my 10-year-old complained, “Mommy, this washroom door doesn't close. And, it's hot in here.” She was right. The floor transition strip beneath the washroom door juts up, too high for the door to close. And, when inside the washroom, the air doesn't circulate. The ceiling fan turns on, but it sounds so muted, it might be malfunctioning. As a result, the washroom gets very warm quickly and stays stuffy inside. Add to that the already existing humidity in the room at large, and our wet towels remained soggy throughout our stay. Later, when we used the shower, we also had trouble turning off the tap because the dial doesn't work properly. At worst, my kids called me to help them rotate it three times in the same direction before it finally shut. Strange! When I reached the Nicole at the front desk with the blackened toilet paper, she acknowledged and apologized for the situation and offered us another room, if I so wished. But, by then, it became a toss-up between inconveniences: to repack and move or to do a quick clean, myself. Besides, given what I'd already encountered within minutes of entering our room, I wondered if we might end up with another room full of its own problems even if we switched. So, I thanked Nicole and asked her to please let housekeeping know of our experience, which she promised to do. As I headed back towards the elevator, my kids and husband were already on their way to the pool so I met up with them in the swimming area. Immediately, my 8-year-old complained, “Eew! This is the dirtiest pool I've ever seen! Look! There's hair floating around and big pieces of stuff settled at the bottom.” I looked at my husband, who chimed in to comfort our kids, “No. It's probably just chipped paint. That doesn't mean it's dirty.” Then, he inspected the pool closer and commented, “Actually, the water IS very cloudy.” The moment we entered the enclosed room, I thought I smelled something unpleasantly pungent, too, hinting of unhealthy bacteria. The water also looked a dirty green. Remember, we'd just been to another upstate New York Best Western pool, which didn't smell or look like this one. It was clean. Our kids then went into the water and quickly came out, feeling uncomfortable to return in. “It's not pieces of peeled paint, Daddy. It's chewing gum. And, some other stuff. I don't know what it is, but did you see the filters on the sides of the pool? You know? Where the bubbles usually flow out of? Take a look. They're all black! You can see it!” At that, we all looked. “They don't seem to be working,” my husband concluded. “I'm guessing this water's been stagnant for a while. I'll talk to the front desk later...Let's just use the hot tub.” So, the rest of my family used the hot tub while I proceeded back to the room with the blackened toilet paper in hand and a phone call in mind. We had booked through Priceline so when I returned to the room, I picked up the phone to call it, but upon lifting the receiver, I noticed a line of grease and dirt all along the inside of the receiver cradle. Disgusted, I immediately wiped the whole phone clean. Worse yet, when I got connected with Priceline, the person on the other end couldn't hear me consistently because the phone line kept cutting off. Could the wiring on the phone be breaking down, too? Eventually, Priceline told me that it couldn't do anything since our family had already checked into the hotel and our bill had been fully paid. I ended the call, unsure of what next to do. Shortly afterwards, my family returned from the pool, and my husband told me that upon reporting the dirty pool to the front desk, Nicole told him that a maintenance person would arrive by morning to attend to it. That night, our family went to bed, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, the next morning, I awoke uncomfortably to the bed sheet having come off the mattress because the elastic band at one corner was broken. I later asked one of the housekeepers to change it. She did so kindly, acknowledging the need for a replacement. After breakfast, our family headed to WonderWorks. When we returned in the afternoon, we checked the pool immediately. Of course, our kids wanted to swim! They'd waited since the evening before. Our 8-year-old dashed to the pool and exclaimed, “The same pieces of gum are still in the same spot!” But, the front desk told me that the maintenance man had come! Our family stood outside of the pool area to discuss what to do next when Abdul, the general manager, approached us and assured us that the pool had indeed been looked after that morning. My husband objected, vehemently. Abdul then suggested that we all take a look at the pool together. When Abdul, himself, ended up fishing for the pieces of gum with the long-handled pool net, at the same time that my 8-year-old picked out pieces of hair from the pool's surface, plus we all noted together the obvious film of dirt floating about the surface of the greenish water under direct sunlight, Abdul apologized. He really couldn't deny the problem. In fact, he admitted to being embarrassed and thanked us for bringing to his attention all the problems we encountered so that he could work on making improvements in the hotel. Then, he compensated us financially for such an uncomfortable stay. I am puzzled at the many positive, recent reviews of this hotel. I am puzzled at the permissible condition of the pool by hotel maintenance. And, I am puzzled at the multiple inconveniences our family encountered during one brief stay, here. Indeed, the personnel may be pleasant, but the facilities clearly aren't. If you're reading this, and you've got a family with kids in tow, especially little ones looking forward to an indoor pool, I hope this review saves you the disappointment, time, and frustration that definitely put a dent in our vacation.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. They offer a wonderful free breakfast and Gale does an excellent job of preparation and accommodating everyone in the breakfast area. GM Abdul is absolutely fantastic and Nicole and Michaela at the front desk are very friendly and professional. There is also a nice pool and hot tub. You will enjoy your stay here!

Stopped late at night, courteous staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Especially liked that ALL bed linens are washed for each stay. I saw this as we were leaving. Easy to access. Breakfast is adequate.

The staff was very caring and rooms clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. Breakfast had many choices and was very plentiful during the busy time. Location is near so many places, we didnt have a long hike to explore after driving so long.

Free Wifi was perfect to send all the photos I took at the NYSF. Free Parking was convenient for the guest who visited me. Breakfast had great varieties; it was hot and delicious. Air Conditioning was truly needed. Pool was so inviting I didn't want to get out. Non-Smoking Hotel kept the surrounding beautiful. Suites were comfy and 'just like being at home'. Fitness center was there for my use; I didn't. Multilingual Staff, what a genius and appreciative addition. Pets Allowed, no comment. Wheelchair access Business Center, was there for my use; I didn't. Laundry Service was truly necessary and convenient Housekeeping-the man and women were SO friendly and helpful.

The hotel is well maintained and has recently been updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and the items replaced quickly whenever they ran low. The breakfast item selection was fairly standard, so nothing really stood-out. What was provided was fresh and hot or cold as appropriate, so the service did stand-out. The room itself was bright, well decorated and clean. We were most comfortable in this location of the several hotels we slept in on this trip.

First time back here in a couple years. This is completely updated. The room was clean and well appointed. Did not swim but the area was good. Spacious breakfast area with lots of selections. Strong internet. Nice people at the desk. Good spot.

Stayed here overnight during a stop off to the State Fair. Clean, spacious room. Comfortable beds. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold choices. Cannot beat it for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was clean and by clean I mean lemony fresh. The hallways had an overwhelming smell of lemon pinesol. Staff was decent, room was ok. Good price but you get what you pay for. They are pet friendly so you may have to relocate after a few noisy dogs.

We spent 2 nights at this Best Western during our recent visit to the NY State Fair in Syracuse. The King suites we had were very clean, staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good considering there were many people trying to get breakfast at the same time to get on to the fair. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Should we be in the area again this would definitely be our hotel choice.

We stayed one night at this location to attend a concert in Syracuse. Check in and out was easy with friendly staff, room was large and very clean. Did not make it to the breakfast but it appeared they have a lot of options. All in all a great stay and would come back here again.

This is the first time staying at this facility and we were very satisfied. Located just off the NY Thruway it is very easy to get to (just off exit 37), with plenty of parking. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was larger than average with a separate seating area and a second tv. Breakfast, included with the room, was reasonable although the breakfast lounge was open to the lobby. However appealing we didn't have the time to use the indoor pool. All of this at a very good price, make this a very good value, and a good place to stay.

Not sure we want to share our good experience.....may be booked up next time we travel! :-) Caring staff, cute property with all the comforts of home. The layout of the property, the amenities and the location are ideal for a business (or a pleasure) visit to this area. Short drive to the Fair, airport and dining, churches. Quiet, and comfortable.

This hotel was sooo clean! Every part of it. The staff and new manager were fantastic friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Hot tub and pool were clean. I recommend for everyone & will be back

Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean hotel and room. Enjoyed pool,hot tub, and exercise room. Wonderful breakfast daily with coffee and tea and other goodies available all day and evening. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. This was our second stay here and we will be returning.

Every employee at this hotel is the reason why I continue staying at this hotel. They are always welcoming and appear to love their job, bar-none. The GM is the best I have ever known. He is a model manager who goes abo e and beyond every single time I stay there. I cannot wait to go there again on business.

Had to wait for 15 minutes, along with 2 other parties, for a 6pm check-in..there was no one at the front desk...finally one person phoned the hotel and a front desk person ambled out without so much as an apology for keeping us waiting. Room was clean, bed too soft. No hot water in shower. It was tepid. The morning front desk person kept us standing there for 5 mintues before ending a personal phone call, so that we could say there was no hot water...sorry..these folks need some instruction in basic manners.

We have stayed in this area many times and were looking for a different hotel. This one seemed to have good reviews, so we booked for an overnight en route to Rome, NY. What a wonderful discovery! This motel is very close to the New York Thruway; in fact, the thruway runs fairly close to it, but because of the way the road was engineered, there is no noise. The facility is set back from the road and approached through a nicely treed, grassy area. The entry is inviting, with a well-lit and nicely appointed waiting and check-in area which merges into the very up-to-date breakfast area. Check-in was easy with the charming hostess on duty. We had a king room on the first floor, a short walk down the hallway. Everything looked pristine and turned out to be so. The soap(s) in the bathroom were very nice (although we always travel with Dove). There was a pleasant view across the grounds toward the road. Bed was comfy, linens very nice and thick, TV and WiFi worked well, and the temperature controls were easy to use. Breakfast was plentiful, in both quantity and abundance. There was plenty of assorted seating. Staff for the breakfast were present and visible, as well as helpful. Checkout was also quick and easy. We found everything to like and will definitely make this our Syracuse base in the future.

This hotel was everything we could ask for, plus more we didn't even need: We used two rooms each with one king bed. The rooms were very clean and all was in good order, even the paint was fresh. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. There was NO noise from within the hotel all night, which made sleep come fast and easy. The public areas, even the parking lot, were equally well kept and clean. The fitness room had a small variety of machines plus a television with remote. The heated pool and jacuzzi looked clean, but we didn't get to take advantage of them. The staff (manager, front desk, breakfast preparers, room cleaners) were all friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast itself was really good quality - far better than we are used to expecting from 'free' hotel breakfasts - with two kinds of waffle batter, whipped cream, Chobani brand yogurt, ripe fruit, tasty eggs and sausages, multiple types of coffee and tea and creamer, and a lot more I can't remember. All the food tasted very good, and it was replenished on time by the staff. The location was convenient for us, being an easy trip of less than 15 minutes from the Central New York Scottish Games which we were in the area to attend. The adjacent land is essentially vacant, so there was a feeling of space around the hotel. It is near a highway (one of the things that makes the location convenient), so expect some high-speed truck traffic noise. We purchased the rooms ahead of time from a third party website and they were in our opinion incredibly inexpensive ($65 per room per weekend night including the taxes) compared to the value we felt we got here.

We stayed for two nights in a Queen Suite, which was excellent, very spacious and nicely decorated. The staff we encountered throughout our stay was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was also good and plentiful. The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5* was that we were disappointed with the state of the indoor pool, basically the water was milky and didn't look very clean, although it smelled very much of chlorine...so we couldn't go in with our daughter to cool off. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.

The "excellent" is due to the enthuastic welcoming and service we re'd from all the employees. This could be just another hotel along the highway for a night, but it is clean (albeit a bit old), quiet, well maintained, and efficiently run. When one is on the road and perhaps getting a bit of road and hotel fatigue, this was a welcomed relief. And certainly has kept us among the faithful BW clients.

It was our third time in BW in Liverpool and we have very good time again. Hotel is very quiet,rooms are clean,breakfast very good.Easy check in and out,staff very friendly and helpful.Definitely will stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Thank you. Krzysztof B.

Room was fabulous, recently remodeled hotel. Staff was very courteous and nice. Housekeepers were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast well put together and great selection. Location work out great for our needs.

What a wonderful stay at this Best Western facility. The staff was exceptiional and very caring as they dealt with customers. The hotel was comfortable, breakfast was tasy and in a very attractive room. This iis a great to stay off the highway.

Right off the NY Thruway. Coffee, Tea, Cookies and Fruit ( bananas and apples ) available all day. Swimming Pool and hot tub was very nice and no one was using it. Room was very clean, Great bed and good selection of TV channels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is large with a good variety, hardworking Tina made sure we had everything we needed. I had to visit a friend in the Syracuse VA and it was easy to get there from here, less than 20 minutes. Small pond on property is very scenic and relaxing with a few picnic tables. Gym was small but equipment was just what you need and functioning well, best workout I've had in a while. Only problem we had was I was unable to connect to the internet in my room. They apologized and said they would have it checked. I could get online in the lobby so it was no big deal. If I needed the internet in the room I'm sure they would of changed us. Will absolutely stay here again.

First time staying at this location won't be our last!! Travel to Syracuse every July for Nationals have stayed at other chain in the past but it was time for a change couldn't have made a better choice. Rooms were comfortable clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Property is very well kept. The room was a good size and neat and clean. The breakfast was great with eggs, meat, yogurt and an assortment of cereals and breads and bagels. Would definitely stay again!

The employees at this location went out of their way to not only make our stay perfect but also to make our grandson feel special. As soon as we arrived he was offered a cookie and a personal tour of the pool area, fitness room and business center. Every employee was always concerned they were doing everything they could for us. The service is stellar. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The internet and everything else worked well.

My wife and I chose this hotel for a trip to the Syracuse NY area. The staff is outstanding with a conscientious approach to all they do. The room was clean, comfortable, and decorared beautifully. If you are in the Syracuse NY area this property will not disappoint. We would gladly stay again.

Convenient to the expressway, The employees we can in contact wit were all very nice, they wore a smile and always offered a hello Something you don't see often enough anymore Property was very clean Breakfast wasn't anything out of the ordinary but for a hotel free breakfast it was better then most always plenty of food and someone passed by the tables every morning to say hello and see if everything was fine The GM is ever present and he too has an infectious personality which transcends onto his staff Would definately stay here again when in the area

Pool area was nice, bed sheets were so scratchy it hurt. Internet was good, tv kept cutting out. Nice shower, beds sounded like they had plastic on them. So there were some good things about the hotel, but also some truly awful ones. If they fixed the bed/ sheets issues it would be a really nice hotel.

The hotel itself is great: clean, comfy beds, good breakfast. We were charged an extra amount that we didn't see. Apparently it is a new state tax in New York,but I thought it was a charge from the hotel. Abdul, the manager, called personally and explained the situation and he did refund the amount even though it wasn't his hotel's fault. We will be back here the next time we come to Syracuse. Thanks Abdul!

The checkin process was great, I was "upgraded" to a king instead of two queens, the GM waited on me as his desk clerk was taking care of another customer. He made me feel as though I was an old friend...although we just met. The Lobby, and room was sparkling clean, well organized and very convenient. My time spent in the hotel was perfect for me, I didn't use all the amenities as I was not prepared to, nor had the time, they did appear to be very clean and user friendly.

The hotel is excellent with good rooms, but the courteous, helpful staff, and Nicole, goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and help in any way they can. Nicole gave us directions and information about the restaurants close to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

We had checked in on short notice (after leaving another hotel) with ease. The room was the perfect size for us, it was clean and quiet. The hotel staff was polite and friendly no matter who you encountered. Breakfast was great. The pool was clean and did not have the over chlorinated smell. It was a little bit off the beaten path but never took us long to get to where we needed to be.

Right off I 90 east off near gas restaurants within 5 miles. Nice pool area with hot tub jets very weak. Fair standard breakfast excellent coffee clean. Nice staff. Bed and noise level ok. Felt safe good lot pretty park like setting

Stayed here last year and was somewhat hesitant booking again. Although the facility is well maintained with good and satisfactory employees, the rating was and is borderline and questionable. Based on the previous experience, the hotel was not only Priceline over rated, but this property's advertised breakfast was unsatisfactory, awful, and horrible. For example, the comparable Priceline rated Extended Stay chain provides similar questionable breakfast for less cost. This visit, the morning meal was improved with the quality headed in the correct direction. Hot foods and pastries were improved. Appreciated. The pool now needs attention. Pool quality, including cloudy and smelly water needs attention. Based on food and pool issues, property rating remains questionable. Improving Breakfast should not result in the swimming degradations.. With no close businesses, such as grocery and restaurant, guests will need a car or ride to access.

A perfect Best Western! Best I have ever stayed at (and we stay in BWs all the time on our 1-2 month long car trips in the US). What made it so great? Charming, responsive and helpful front desk receptionist. She even called us following check/in to see if our room met our expectations! Manager on site who puts in a regular appearance. Delicious chocolate chip cookies upon arrival, plus fruit for those with will power. We had a king suite for $117/night with tax. Great bed and pillows. Fluffy towels with 3 sets. A sink in the kitchenette (refrig and microwave) which really facilitates getting ready in the morning. Spic and span clean! Very spacious, comfy and well furnished. Lovely pool and the best exercise equipment I have ever seen at a BW (or at many other chain hotels). Beautiful grounds with picnic tables overlooking a pond??

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable king-size bed. The breakfast was quite good and there was a good variety to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a night while on a trip to Syracuse. Hotel is close to the freeway but you don't hear it in the rooms. Rooms were clean and the entire property looks like it's been recently updated. Staff were friendly and the included breakfast as nice. Would stay here again.

My wife and I recently stayed in this Best Western for a business trip. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try in part because it's away from the traffic and noise yet central to everything we needed. Not sure why the reviews are bad because this place is super clean, while an older hotel it is updated in many ways. The breakfast area is very nice and clean and offers a wide variety. The desk staff was helpful and Nicole who we encountered on our checkout was amazing, helpful, and an asset for this hotel. Best Western should take note of this young ladies customer service skill set and emulate them. Look forward to going back.

My daughters and I stayed one night at the BW Liverpool while shopping in Syracuse. The hotel was clean, very quiet and the free breakfast was appreciated. My daughters enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Access is pretty easy to the highways and Destiny USA. An excellent choice.

Wifi is good , people are excellent , the breakfast was your average they need to leave the butter out hard butter sucks. Rooms are spacious and can handle 3 to 4 easily, pool is good and the fitness is adequate ..

This is one of the nicest hotels in Syracuse. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. The pool is good size for the hotel. Fitness room is nice. No riff raff around the building unlike other hotels in the area.

The Best Western Plus Liverpool is right off Interstate 90 and not far from I 81. The hotel is situated with easy access to continue your travels west, north or south. Close to the airport, Destiny Mall and Downtown Syracuse. The Manager happened to be on duty when I arrived. Even though I'd booked through a third party and not directly with BW he honored my Diamond Status with Best Western. I found all of the staff friendly and customer service oriented. The hotel is very modern with good beds and large rooms. Free Breakfast is available in the morning. Typical for most hotels these days. If you're visiting Syracuse or just passing through this is a great place to lay your head.

Manager happened to be at the front desk when we arrived, discount coupon in our hand. He not only honored the coupon but gave us an upgrade to a suite......so as to better accommodate our group of 3 adults. We went to Wegmans (a mile or so away), bought some deli items, and had a wonderful dining.in experience. This entire facility is spotless, the staff friendly. Very quiet too. No slamming doors.

Was a very nice property, looked new. Very well maintained Quiet rooms and nice decor. It appeared to have been thoroughly cleaned and prepared for our stay. Friendliest staff I have ever encountered, especially the Manager. They made you feel welcome immediately, and were quite helpful.

We got there late and the staff was very good and friendly on checking us in. Rooms were a good size and very clean. lots of towels. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard fare. Pool could have been a little cleaner and location is a little out of the way. It is a very good location of both the 81 and 90. But near in a high tech park away from anything else

Nice hotel, very clean, helpful staff, but overpriced for comparable hotels. Good location right off the NYS thru-way, but therefore not very scenic setting. Very basic breakfast, but good attention to cleanliness and resupplying items. Great coffee!

Overall experience was great It could have been better with the before knowledge that large groups of bowlers were staying there so they could have had breakfast a little earlier since we had to be at the convention center at 6 am.

Loved the pool and hot tube. Like the hotel so much we plan to stay again next month. Rooms were big enough for our family of four to stay comfortable. Great breakfast, kids liked the wafers, eggs, and bacon.

Was there to bowl the USBC tournament and the hotel was very adequate for our stay. Staff was kind and friendly, bed was a little stiff, and had some minor toilet issues, but overall the place was really good.

Excellent room - able to accommodate 4 individuals in our Room, it was clean and fresh every day by the house keeping staff.. Room was very quiet and unable to hear the neighbors at all. We have excellent breakfast settings every day and able to enjoy it as the hours were good from 6 - 10 am daily.

Our regular hotel was over-booked so they sent us to this place. We found it to be in great condition and very clean! I would not hesitate to return. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good. The staff were all friendly.

We actually lucked out on finding this little gem and we are planning our next stay there as soon as possible. This is one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed in. The room was lovely, the breakfast was excellent, and the desk clerks were very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel. It is very conveniently located off from Rtes. 90 or 81.

This hotel located in an industrial area off the Thruway is very clean, comfortable and has friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent and appreciated was the manager who made sure all was good for us. We will go back on our next visit to Syracuse. Also noteworthy there is a nice indoor pool with a hot tub although we did not use it.

Stayed at this property when returning from down south. The hotel has been completely , tastefully renovated. Antonio who welcomed us upon our arrival was very courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The owner of this hotel took the time to go to each table and ask the guests if everything was to their liking. The only minor negative is that there are no restaurants within walking distance.

Great location right off of the interstate with nice walking trails through the Lockeed Martin campus. Everything is new, and the rooms are huge. Best value around Syracuse. There was a problem with the hot water when we were there but it was resolved the following morning so shower was hot. This hotel is pet friendly and only charges a $25 fee.

Wife, 3 kids and I stayed here when traveling to see Family over the holidays. Staff was friendly, location is good as it's right off the thru way and close to 81. Pool was nice and well maintained. Several delivery options close by and if you are feeling adventurous Destiny mall is 5-7 minutes away. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It's not the Ritz but it's certainly no Motel 6 either. I would certainly stay again

After a disappointing trip to the pool without the hot tub being available on Valentines day waking up in the morning before 6 and finding no hot water was not great. Tried working with the front desk staff asked for another room that had a hot shower got nowhere, asked to use the pool shower NOPE that had no water at all...seriously getting frustrated after 3 hours of BS from the front desk DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!. Finally after I am about to loose it (my morning shower is like my coffee not functioning without one) a shift change the new front desk person came in and withing 30 mins gave me access to another room (just down a few doors from ours) so that I could take a shower. This one is a keeper but can not make up for the rotten service from previous shift. Tells you one thing that the initial front desk person was either totally incompetent or just did not give a @@@! The hostess at the breakfast bar was great she tried to help so much more than the Front desk and it was not even her job. Her hands were tied with the FD but she kept trying to do something like looking into getting the pool door open prior to 7 so I could possibly use that. I am a BW rewards member and will never stay here again not worth the hassle and if this is the way the treat their clientele they can shove it!

My husband and I decided we would spend a Saturday night out for a Valentine's Day treat. We had stayed at this hotel before in one of there jacuzzi rooms. So we thought we would go back. When we arrived there was another guest at the front counter stating their room on the first floor still did not have any hot water and asked for a manager. The front clerk informed the guest that the manager would not be in until the morning. But they would send Zach to her room for help with the hot water. Our jacuzzi room was also located on the first floor and sure enough we did not have hot water in our room either. The main reason for booking a room at this hotel was to use the jacuzzi which we could not use. After 3 hours we decided to leave and go home. My husband informed the workers at the front desk we were leaving because there was no hot water and they just shook their heads. I should have read the reviews on trip advisor before going as I see the no hot water problem has been on going.

Let me start by saying all staff members that I or my husband dealt with were professional and courteous.. We wanted to get away for a few days for our anniversary (have a live in year old grandson lol) and just enjoy a quiet just us trip. Friday the 9th we had almost a 2 hour drive (normally an hour for us) because of the weather. When we came in to register it went quickly but was told the hot water was in the process of being fixed. Things happen we understand and just figured it would be a couple hour thing. We booked the jacuzzi room, well see above, lol. so that meant not being able to use it till much later. We ordered delivery from down the street (Gino and Joes I believe review for them to come) and decided with weather wasnt worth going out. Approx 7/8ish the gentleman from the front desk knocked on our door to let us know we should have hot water, we did yay!.. so rough start to first night but ended well. Next morning we have breakfast (very good for a continential style) andno hot water for showers so left for the day came back and had hot water night 2 went well again as for hot water went to fill up tub more when hubby got out and water was tepid, just thought maybe everyone was taking showers and so forth. Sunday rolls around and go to breakfast and come back to take showers and leave again for the day and no hot water again. Cleaned up as best as we could and left for the day thinking it would be back on ..and it was't. (everytime personally walked down to desk to ask/place a complaint about it.) Mon get up, start packing up and go to breakfast and talk to the manager Tabitha, who was professional and did adjust our stay. One more point or two the pool was nice decent sized but the hot tub was also down the whole weekend. Again all the staff were very good and no issues with the room/breakfast itself just the hot water issue.

The hotel is managed so poorly the hot water system was broken for three days out of my three day stay while I was there on a business trip I was on showered for two days and then finally broke down to take a cold shower in the hotel the manager left was nowhere to be found she leaves the poor young man to take care of her hotel her problems she left and did not return even though she knew that the hot water system in the hotel was not working the hotel is very very poorly managed I will not return there hopefully this review Changes your mind when choosing a hotel in the Liverpool area

Rooms were clean, warm and inviting. After traveling in snow storm was greeted by friendly staff late at night. Breakfast was better than most if couldn't find something to eat than your fault. Towels were in issue for us. The tub was broken all weekend and the lobby fireplace didn't work. But we were there in sub below zero weather so we were looking to stay warm! Would stay again.

The desk clerk wasn't properly trained. The night auditor who was the “decision maker” and not very courteous. The hot tub was broken which was one reason I chose this hotel. The pillows were very small. The remote was broken. There was a disgusting dirty towel in the room. Disappointing stay.

I needed a hotel en route to Rochester from the NYC area. Left late to avoid the coming early January storm and freeze. Found the hotel online and booked in a few minutes. We were totally satisfied with the whole experience. Good location (off the Interstate). Good price, Excellent service.

Hotel itself is fine. But they put a $100 hold on my credit card for “incidental charges.” I don't know where the fad for charges like this started, but I have stayed probably 1000 hotel nights in my life and it is a really irritating new scam. Will look elsewhere next time.

Overall nice hotel. They have a gym, pool and hot tub. As well as good parking and the location is close to the mall and the Thruway (90). They updated the lobby area, hallways and carpet/floors. I think there breakfast could be a little better, but overall nice stay.

Greet by associate at front desk that had bad attitude. I always get upgrades for free and he said we would have to pay, Internet is super slow, hot tub was not in working order and light was hanging from ceiling in bathroom. Spoke to manager next day. She did not want to satisfy this customer by maybe giving some extra points or say she would look into the concerns.

The workers were all very friendly and personable. This is a clean place and everything was very typical of the usual find at Best Westen Plus hotels. When we arrived there were some deelish cookies and lemon-infused water in the lobby which was fun. The beds were comfy and the linens were good quality. The room was quiet and the shower was hot with good pressure. The gym was small but we got to get a little cardio in on the elliptical and the treadmill. The continental breakfast was also very good. No complaints.

Traveled with our 4-year old grandson. Wanted extra room so booked the two queen bed suite. It was perfect. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Sheets very soft and smooth. TV in bedroom and also in the separate seating area with sofa and desk. There was a small kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and cupboards. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Near ESF college and restaurants.

The hotel is easy access from highway,it was clean,the staff professional and helpful. We had only one small comment as the toilet was noisy and the sink faucet was small for the sink. The beds were very comfortable and the environment was very quit.

The hotel was in a great location for us the service was great and the beds were nice we didn't go to breakfast, or use any other of the facilities. Have stayed with this hotel numerous stays, always a great experience with no problems. Staff is always pleasant and greets you warmly. Breakfast is always warm with plenty of choices and never allowed to run out of any items.

Needed an overnight location in Syracuse that didn't cost too much. Got a great deal on a room with two Queen beds. Room was clean. Had frig, microwave, coffee pot. Checked in early with friendly staff. Awesome Home made chocolate chip cookies. In fact so awesome, I ate the last one that my wife wanted. She wasn't happy. I went to check to see if they had any more cookies, and "Zach" at the desk, offered to make a new batch. My wife was thrilled. I was thrilled. The cookies were hot and delicious. The free hot breakfast was great. Wifi worked great. Didn't use the Pool, hot tub, or workout room.

For ~$150/night, this place is pretty good. Not too far from Destiny USA (huge mall), which is why we visit. We've stayed here before. Decent (free) breakfast as well. This location is fairly new and much nicer than typical Best Westerns. Def worth a stay if you're just spending a few nights.

Though the hotel was under major renovations this affected our stay minimally. Very good breakfast. Staff very pleasant. Well located easily accessing main highway. We enjoyed indoor pool but bottom of pool is rough and scratched my daughters feet.

Very pleasant stay at the GW, Liverpool, NY hotel. Person at desk had been at this hotel for just 3 wks and was training another new employee. He did a very good job, very professional, very helpful. Room was very clean and in good order. Overall, very good stay. Stayed at this same hotel just two months prior...same good experience.

My wife, dog and I had a wonderful stay at this motel. The receptionist was very professional. She treated you like a family member and she upgraded to a suite to my surprised as we are a member of the BW. The check in area along with the breakfast section are done.and I think all of the rooms are updated but still doing the outside painting. We will definitely stay here on our trip back to Boston. We stayed here a year ago and wasn't very please seeing thousand of cigarette butt just outside of the doorway on the ground and now this year not butts and a very clean outside. Great area to walk your dog.

Front desk receptionist very nice and accommodating. Hotel was under renovation but still a good deal. Definitely a place worth returning to. Location is convenient for easy on and off from NYS Thruway. Breakfast was fairly good with hot options and nice eating area.

We were in town for the SU family weekend. The rates were very fair and the location was reasonable. They are renovating so I can't really comment on the facility much - it could certainly use a little updating but it wasn't at all uncomfortable or dirty. The room (king) was large and the couch was comfy. It was quiet and although close-ish to the highway, we heard little if any road sounds. Breakfast buffet was solid. There is a bit of feedback I'd like to give - please tell the housekeepers to clean out the fridges of other people's leftovers, and please replace the coffee packs each day when you clean :). Otherwise, we'd stay again for sure.

If there is a policy and procedure about no guest after hours the hotel should be informing you when after hours are and giving it to you in write bc every hotel is different.I had my uncle hand his partner visit me after they got off of work when i stayed there and no sooner did we get to my room did i get a phone call from the front desk telling me they had to leave now or i was going to get charged for extra guest that wasn't even staying the night. I will never ever stay at this hotel again and further more never stay at a best western again. The little room was not worth it and the jacuzzi made you feel claustrophobic.

I had a very good stay at Best Western in Liverpool recently. There were no problems,I had a good room and the staff was courteous. The room was clean and quiet. The room amenities were complete and the room temperature was just right. The breakfast was good and the hotel was conveniently located

After sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes while the line of a dozen guests in front of me were all lodging complaints about the disgusting state of their room, or that no room was available for their reservation, I would not stay at this Best Western for anything! Scary!!!

I enjoyed this hotel for its convenient location right on the NYS Thruway. It is undergoing remodelling so there was limited noise and dust but it is in the final stages so was minimal. I cannot say enough good things about the front staff. They were helpful in answering my questions on where to eat and how to get there. The hotel also has a very useful set of directions to places. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Easy access from the highway with beautiful environment. The outdoor park is nicely landscaped which is an added value to this hotel.

The King suite with Jacuzzi was fantastic. They treat reward customers with excellent service. This was our one year anniversary and we had a great weekend, the room was exactly what we were looking for and location was great for what we wanted to do around Syracuse!

I wrote a positive review on this hotel several years ago when my family of 4 stayed here. I am happy to report that after a few years they continue to go above and beyond with their service. We came in to attend the NYS fair and this is a busy time of year. We had originally booked 2 nights but 5 days out had an accident and ended up only needing one. I called 3 times to confirm my change and each woman I spoke to was professional and reassuring that my change was noted and we were all set. Today you often get people in business who seem annoyed. This is not the case at this hotel. The morning we arrived we were very lucky as our room was ready early and we were able to get a nap before heading out. Check in was easy and I had already spoken to the young woman in the phone who checked us in and she was just wonderful. Our room was a queen sweet. Two queen beds and pull out sofa. Two televisions, coffee maker w/coffee & tea, small fridge and a wet bar. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location just off of the NY thruway and not far from 81 and our favorite Destiny USA. We slept well and enjoyed a breakfast of cheese omelets, bacon, waffles, bagels and yogurt in the morning. A nice touch that this hotel sometimes does is put out warm cookies mid day. I want to mention one more thing. In the morning I was having my coffee in a little lobby area. A very busy dad showed up with an over active preschooler. I believe this beautiful little guy had some special needs. I watched the front desk worker come out and really work hard for this dad. She put on different cartoons and helped bring over his cereal. It was very heart warming. Later I saw her mention to a couple with an infant that there were high chairs and then chat with the baby while they enjoyed their breakfast. Honestly the staff at this hotel are wonderful. We will be staying again.

My husband and I were here for six days, during the first week of the awesome State Fair. Check in was fast and friendly. We had difficulty getting the television to work at first, as we are both technologically bereft. The woman at the front desk didn't hesitate to help us get hooked up. No problem after that. We made good use of the hot tub, which was one of the best I've used in a motel. There could have been a little more chlorine in the water. Same goes for the swimming pool, which was a tad too murky for me. The breakfast was really nice. They offered things I've never seen offered at at continental motel breakfast. Things such as: individual packets of Nutella, individual containers of almond milk, individual containers of salsa, and blueberry waffles. I, for one, was impressed, although I couldn't make the ten o'clock deadline every day, as I like to sleep late after a long day and night at the State Fair. The room was average size, and well appointed. It had a fridge, but no microwave, which was fine, because they let you use one in the breakfast room 24/7! The room is always open because they have coffee and tea available on a constant basis. And if you're lucky, you'll get one of those fresh baked chocolate chip cookies they put out for guests. When I went to check out, the lovely lady at the desk offered me a "To go" bag. She said it was for the long ride home. I was floored! How nice was that! Next year when we go to the State Fair, I will stay here for sure. Best bang for your buck in the area.

Beautiful room. Very clean. Spacious room. Most Comfortable bed and variety of pillows was nice. Very delicious breakfast. Thumbs up for overall stay. Only down, if you can call it that, was the carpets had just been cleaned and we're still wet.

My family and I spent five very long and exhausting days at The Great New York State Fair. It was nice to have a comfortable place to relax after a long day. The breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day. The pool and hot tub were the best way to unwind. The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there. I was impressed how quickly and neatly remodeling of the hallways was being done during the day.

The hotel was a little out of the way, and close to the highway, so you can hear the traffic, however the rooms were clean. When we stayed there the hotel was under renovations, which was fine for the most part, but it was busy in the hallways with people painting and sanding etc. The pillows on the bed were tiny little throw cushions practically, they were uncomfortable, and looked out of place. The bed was ok on the comfort level but not stellar. The pool was nice, as well as the hot tub. The breakfast was ok...not a huge selection, but the area was clean, and there was sufficient seating. All in all it was an ok hotel, but I have stayed in better...

1 room was at 95 and other room was at 60 at checkin and all I got was a sorry, bacon was soo thin you could read through and was not tasty, eggs were not prepared on site, coffee was good and hot, toast was good and orange juice was good

Staff was very nice.. room was clean. breakfast bar was good.. hallways were under reno so not finished. a bit pricey I felt for what I got vs what I paid (then again it was a last minute booking on a busy weekend). Location is good from Destiny Mall. It'll do if you're staying for a night.

On a recent trip from Michigan to Maine, we were ready to take a break for the day. We stopped and used a coupon from Hotel Coupon magazine. They accepted the coupon and gave us a very nice room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was the usual fare, but was what we needed to finish our trip. A very nice place to stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was not in the best shape. The sheets and mattress pad had hairs stuck to them. The towels were old and shredded and should have been used as rags rather than guest towels. We frequently stay at Best Westerns, but this one is in dire need of renovation and updating.

We got a very warm greeting throughout our stay and the staff provided some helpful hints (ex: taxi or shuttle to go to a concert at Lakeview) which was greatly appreciated. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great buffet breakfast.

This is a very nice motel and well situated in a park-like environment. Route 90 is close but there is very little traffic noise. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool area was clean and the temperature was just right. This is the second time we have stayed there and will stay there again if we are in the area. I would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was Very clean and Staff were very friendly. No major issues. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety of food to choose from. The only thing that i did not like was that the internet lied about how close it was to the lake view amphitheater; it was a good 10 minute drive. But the physical location of the hotel is in a good spot weather you are using I81 or the thurway. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay over night for a concert.

I was attending a conference held at a nearby hotel complex but was looking for something more in my price range. I was not disappointed in my selection. The Best Western Liverpool was close to where I needed to be and offered a great rate. My room was spacious, clean, quiet (another plus for not being at the conference hotel), and comfortable. Daily breakfast was typical of hotel offerings but satisfied my needs. The pool and fitness area was great and I was glad to soak in the spa after a long day at conference. I definitely would recommend this hotel and plan to use it again for next year's conference.

i would recommend this hotel if you stay in the syracuse area. rooms are very clean- hotel staff excellent- pool and spa were clean. stayed three nights and each time we encountered staff they were very friendly. it has its own roadway and is only 5 minutes from downtown syracuse and lake onondaga

Would definitely stay here again!!!! We came to visit family and to sight see. Easy place to get to. Liked that they had a pool and exercise room. This was a quick trip and did not take advantage of them. Would definitely recommend.hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful

Comfortable rooms, clean, the location is very good to access the highway, good buffet breakfast offering, staff pleasant. A bit noisy with planes flying nearby, but all in all always a good choice when we pass through this area.

The hotel is very easy to access from I-90, and is located in a quiet area. Across the parking lot is a large gassy park area to relax after a long day's drive. The hotel appears to either be new or recently refurbished. Everything appears clean and is comfortable in both the room and the common areas. The pool and hot tub area was clean and very inviting. I stay in hotels more than 50 nights a year, and this is one of the better places I have styed in.

This place was great from the very beginning! We loved the size of the room and breakfast is a big plus! The one downer for me, is that I am mobility challenged and the extra deep tub in our room was extremely hard to use. Otherwise, love it!

Service in this hotel is excellent. When we arrived, check in was okay. We were given a room that was still being cleaned. The staff took care of the issue right away and assigned another room. The staff also allowed me to return to the room after checkout to gather belongings i had left accidentally. The cleaning staff had already discovered it and set it aside for us. The staff is excellent. The quality of the hotel is okay.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Liverpool and, while the staff were nice and very efficient, the hotel guest rooms were quite run down. The main lobby area is clean and new but the rooms really need a touch up.

Beautiful hotel. We have stayed in many Best Westerns but this one is tops. The room is a king suite, with a sitting area separate from sleeping area, has a fridge microwave and sink. Bathroom is updated. Very clean, courteous staff. The breakfast area is spacious and well laid out. There is a pool and hot tub as well. Lots of parking and easy to get to.

The room and amenities were up to Best Westerns' high standards. Upon arrival however, the room temp was 85. The West facing window curtain was open and the AC turned off. 3 hrs later with the AC on full blast, it was still 80 in the room. It was almost bed time and we were sweating in the room! The desk mgr was unable to provide us with a cooler room, so we checked out. We called the hotel mgr., Tabitha Denegal THREE TIMES in the following days in an effort to explain our experience and try to get our money back. She never returned our call! What kind of manager does NOT return a customers call? Very unprofessional. Don't bother contacting Best Western customer service either. If the hotel manager refuses to help you, contacting customer service is pointless. They have to adhere to the managers decision. Bottom line for us, Best Western has great hotels at a great price, but their Liverpool-Syracuse Inn and Suites is NOT recommended.

we've stayed at this hotel many times in the last couple years. never had a bad experience, except a noise complaint that the staff took care of very quickly. the breakfast is good. the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.our room was clean. the appearance of hotel is very neat. they have a pool and a fitness room. i recommend this hotel. we will be staying here in the near future.

We used to come here every time we visited our relatives here in Liverpool but we won't be coming back anymore. We used to come because we wanted a reasonably priced place that had a pool for the kids. The pool is so cloudy now you can't see the bottom. My son broke out in a rash after swimming in the pool. For breakfast they have run out of the meat every day, so even though they promise a free breakfast they don't really provide it. The room and pool both are short of towels. There are many other options in the area for hotels that are in a similar price range that are run better.

Just off the hwy so convenient and easy to find. Gorgeous grounds (*see photo). Plenty of parking. The polished lobby was inviting. A staff member was busy cleaning and seemed to be taking such pride in his work that I felt compelled to compliment him. A pleasant lady (sling on one arm) at Reception checked us in then offered help choosing a place for dinner and where to gas up. The room was ginormous and obviously meant for disabled persons (perhaps because when I booked I'd requested a ground floor due to a knee injury?). There is an elevator so this wouldn't have been an issue. The shower was a challenge, however, and water went everywhere as the shower curtain did not act as a barrier--there was quite the mess afterwards. We noticed there were several of these rooms on that floor. Breakfast was typical. The room was large with many tables and chairs plus a big screen TV to watch weather and news. Wish we could've stayed longer.

If visiting Liverpool for business at Lockheed Martin, and not utilizing a rental car, this is a good place to stay. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and you have lots of delivery food options... including incredibly good pizza delivery.

Our room was clean. The hotel is somewhat dated, but kept nice. On site laundry was a plus during our road trip. Friendly staff. Good one night stop. Would stop again. Odd location, but the town of Liverpool is nice!

My rip was a quick turn-around from SFO to Syracuse for just the weekend. The Best Western in Liverpool NY was the most accommodating and I appreciated the front desk staff and the bed. I requested early check-in as I was on the red-eye from SFO and was hoping for a refreshing shower but it was not meant to be. But the front desk staff were exemplary in securing a room available at noon for me. Sadly, I could not take them up on it but I was really appreciative of the service. Thank you!

Stopped here on a whim after driving 9 hours with my cat. They had pet friendly rooms, and a good last minute rate. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I made a nice breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and meat. Service was fine. I would stay here again.

First, I must say that the staff was as helpful as possible. The problems were numerous and due mostly to aging facilities and unpreparedness. I stayed two nights in one of their "suites". I had a refrigerator that didn't work. The couch had a seam which was split and in need of serious sewing. The light in the living room didn't work (even after housekeeping was there). I needed to use their guest, coin operated laundry room. They had no change (what's the point of having a guest laundry room if you don't also have the capacity to allow them to access it? How many people walk around with dollars of quarters?). I needed change to tip housekeeping, and when I asked the desk for change the night before, you guessed it, they didn't have any. He would call the morning worker to make sure he brought change. The next morning? No dice. No change. No surprise. The trip was booked and paid for a month in advance. I was told there was an additional tax which would be added as well as the pet fee; needless to say when I saw $150 pending on my card, followed by an additional $75 charge two days later, I wrote to the manager. Twice. Never once got any response, but the excess charges were eventually credited. The ONLY reason I gave two stars is for the staff which had to deal with the lack of forethought from management. The complete neglect and disrespect for unanswered emails will assure that this will be a place to avoid at all costs. "Stuff" happens, but lack of courtesy and communication does not fall into that category.

We stayed only one night on our way home from Maine. It was an okay stay. Room was nice and air conditioning worked, but think this place could use a little bit of spruce up. The front desk personnel were WONDERFUL, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good (although the "scrambled eggs" were terrible ... they truly tasted and felt like powdered eggs). All in all, an okay place and if we had to stay here again, we would.

Hotel is newly renovated and is very clean. Good location close to all attractions. Nice indoor pool and work out room. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful (some are not as friendly). King size bedroom is exceptional with a mini fridge and microwave, sofa area with a TV and a second TV in bed area.

Overall facility and room were clean. The temperature in our room was 89 degrees when we checked in around 6:00 PM, it was the middle of the night before the room temp was tolerable. Sofa bed mattress was the thinnest I've ever seen. Took 10 minutes for someone to come out and help me at the front desk when I arrived for check in.

We arrived at Best Western and the grounds looked very nice we went into the reception area it was nice. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. We asked if we want ground or second floor and we ask firs tfloor not far from where we parked out car and they were very accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious, and everything worked. I just had trouble with the remote because you need to be up close to the tv to change channels but all else was great

Newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. Found through Priceline for 50 bucks. A great bargain. Right next to Lockheed Martin. Close to highways. No brainer if you are doing business in the area. Will definitely be back.

Stay was very pleasant with friendly staff. The room was clean and pleasant and it included a wonderful breakfast with 2 make-your-own waffle machines, fresh fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. The breakfast room was very pleasant.

I was in Liverpool for TOPS State Recognition Days and stayed there along with a friend from my chapter. The room we had was lovely! There was also a wide variety of choices for the complimentary continental breakfast. I'll definitely stay there again!

The staff is outstanding at this Best Western especially Melinda and Akeela. They go out of their way to make sure everything is as you like it. The breakfast bar is well stocked. The counters are kept clean as is the eating area.

Our stay was VERY nice. The Staff at check in and out were incredible! Everything to make you feel comfortable while on the road. The breakfast was excellent and even though there were many guests, it was plenty!

Our family recently stayed at this property for three nights (2 rooms) for Syracuse Univ. graduation. It was the ideal location - close to the university but in a quiet location. Our rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. There were plenty of outlets and the desk was easy to sit at for work. The staff was very helpful, answering questions about the area, etc. They serve breakfast which was easy and quick. If you are looking for a place to stay for college drop off or a business trip - this location is perfect.

We stayed on a Friday night for graduation weekend for Oswego. The hotel had signs welcoming graduates and the family's a nice touch. Staff was very nice and attentive. Room was clean ,dark though, could use some more lighting . Nice hot tub and pool area and gym. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked and food was good. A nice overnight stay.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I had a great experience, but this last time was an unwelcome surprise. Usually the staff has been friendly and accommodating, but during my most recent stay I not only had to wait 15 minutes to check in (no one else was waiting), but the front desk person was rude as well. I also experienced excessive noise ALL night long from other hotel occupants to the point that my room was literally vibrating. Needless to say, I got no sleep which my next day of travel very difficult. .

Very clean hotel price was really good. An it's right off of I 90 clc friendly I came in to a smile an a greeting. Which was nice after a long trip from va. The pool was clean an the hot tub feels great on the joints. Exercise room was good everything worked. Breakfast was ur typical breakfast. But very well displayed. My room was clean an very homy like. Look forward to coming back.

Close to 2 interstates for convenience and easy to get to. Very good HOT breakfasts, many facilities available in the area. The personnel were very friendly many offers for help, if needed. Our check out time needed to be extended for at lest one hour and they were very accommodating to take care of that for us. We had 3 rooms for our family. We were there to attend a funeral for a very close friend.

Staff was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Access to highway was easy. Ask for a room that's on the side away from the highway. Breakfast could get some improvement. But hey, the price is right.

Not one person - they were too busy chewing gum-front desk was left unattended with all kind of documents from other travellers in full view. I have many photos of the room showing how neglected everything was. Hair in sink - towels falling apart - dirty mirrors(2 of them) - 2 small pieces of soap (we were 2 in the room !!!!) carpet not had not been vaccumed - no glasses in bathroom....etc .....The food took us to another dimension ....according to one woman which was not even cleaned, there was no butter in hotel, eggs were a flat overcooked 3 inch circle...coffee was watered down.... We will never stay there again, I will pout photos on Travelocity to show people. I will be sending an e-mail along with photos to the General Manager Kayur Patel asking him if he would serve the eggs to his dog for breakfast. Photos are worth one thousand words.

We chose this place for its proximity to the Destiny USA mall and free breakfast with indoor pool! We had a great 4 night stay! Room was very clean! Everything was great! Pool wasn't huge, but it was good for kids! Hot tub was nice! They had cookies daily at 1:30, but we never seen more than 2 one night, (which the kids grabbed) when we got back to the room in the late evenings. They said they were delicious! Breakfast was good enough for the price! I would like to see more fruits and less carbs, but we did enjoy the waffles, and flavored waffles! Some strawberry sauce to go with the whip cream available would have been he best! Had meat and eggs daily. Yogurts, oatmeal and hot coco packets, tea bags, already made coffees and Juice. Bagels, croissants, muffins, etc. I would have liked to of seen water as a drink option in the morning... as it was available in evening! Location was close to all things we did! Mall and zoo! Staff friendly.

I am completely satisfied with my stays at best western, and I will continue to use them. I always book a jacuzzi room which is such a fantastic experience! Breakfast is always delicious and plentiful, everything is very neat and clean at all times and they have everything you could possibly want in a hotel, from a hot tub and pool to a fitness center and washing/drying machines. They are absolutely affordable for everything they provide and I have never had a bad experience in the multiple best western locations I've stayed at.

Family of 5 visiting SU for college tour stayed overnight on 4/12. Nice size room. Near Destiny mall for evening dinner and activities. Room had 2 tv, 1 small fridge, 2 bed and 1 sofa bed. Breakfast had self make waffle and chicken with gravy and biscuits. Great place at a great price. Definitely recommend for family.

This hotel was conveniently located. The price was very reasonable providing significant value. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good for the start of the day. My daughter needed to practice on her musical instrument for an event. Hotel manager opened up the conf. room for her to practice peacefully.That was extremely helpful and accomodating.

Reason for a hotel stay was because it was supper close to Tesla supercharger (side note the supercharger was. It that fast at this one). The Altoona were standard. Beds ok, just a little bit lumpy. The pillow smell a little of chlorine and so does the running water for shower. Breakfast is ok lots of options but coffee not drinkable it was so week. Plus side, we didn't want to dig on our bags for toothbrush and they provided it for us. Surprising the towels were soft. All in all a good one night stay.

Stayed here for a basketball tournament. Check in and check out were both a breeze. I had a suite and thought it was well worth the price of about 110 a night. The breakfast and Wi-Fi were both good. Plenty of selection at the breakfast. Very nice, well lit and clean lobby. The pool is on the smaller side, but the kids loved it I would recommend the BW Liverpool to anyone. Good price and great service. I didn't have a single problem all weekend.

Clean comfortable hotel. Reasonable price. We were just passing thru this area on our way further south. Staff at front desk very welcoming and offered suggestions for places to dine since we were unfamiliar with the area. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

Excellent service by the day Manager. We arrived early and were given a room right away in a nice quiet part of the hotel and one the first floor. The service was excellent. Room was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was a hot breakfast and provided a variety of items. Definitely would recommend. This hotel is also very close to some good restaurants and the large mall called Destiny. no need to get into traffic as hotel is only 5 minutes away from these.

its an ok hotel- check in was a pain, new lady and she had no idea what to do and there was no manger on duty, she had to keep calling the manger at home to ask her questions. breakfast was sub-standard, could use more variety, eggs were nasty. rooms were very nice size, beds were comfortable, bathrooms could use some updating as could the interior of the rooms and the hallways. location was ok.

The hotel is very comfortable, they serve a hardy breakfast, and it is generally quiet & well maintained. It is close to shopping & restaurants. Meets our needs for our two day trip. We will be back next year.

This hotel is comfortable, clean and easy access to major highways. The breakfast was good but not exceptional. It is close to major malls, Syracuse University, and other nearby attractions. It's a nice hotel for singles, couples or families.

We stayed here on a little shopping trip it's not far from the Destiny USA mall. Shout out to Sam at the front desk he was super helpful and friendly. Couple of downsides the people above us seemed to think they were practicing for Riverdance now and again that happens. Someone else mentioned the cold breakfast items ... that's still a lukewarm problem but I used the microwave to warm the eggs and sausage.

My Wife and I spent 2 nights at the Best Western Plus Syracuse, this is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The price was good, and your very close to the Destiny USA mall. We checked in very late Friday night coming from Montreal, we got the room next to the elevator on the 2nd floor. Suprisingly I actually did not hear any noise, except for the cars on the nearby highway but it was faint. Check in was great, the room was clean. Shame the bathroom needs some maintenance, cracked tiles and the shower diverter needs some grease. Nothing serious, I would stay here again.

On our trip this year traveling around the States,we seem to seek out Best Western Hotels where we feel comfortable and relaxed,we really enjoyed our nights stay in the Liverpool Bests Western my sister and myself in one Quiet room and our Daughters in another next door, having lots of laughs, breakfast lots as usual to choose from in the continental type food ,after a good nights sleep in comfy beds,ready to go further on our travels

Great check in with friendly staff. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast hot/cold items that were keep well stocked. Staff trustful as noted when I. D. Left behind and staff kept documents secure until picked up.

We checked in fairly late and the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and informative. Breakfast was well stocked and included cereal, bread products, waffle makers, eggs, sausage and yogurt. Many beverage options as well! While not luxurious, our room was clean and comfortable. The in room mini fridge is always an added bonus. No complaints for the value!

Upon seeing the word "Plus" after "Best Western", I had high expectations for the hotel in regards to their services and cleanliness. I expected a little hint of luxury but the decor seemed just as accommodating as any 2 star hotel. The curtain in my bathroom was thinning and looked to be worn out. There was a dirty stain on one of the chairs by the table. The breakfast was pretty diverse, which was nice.

Fast & efficient check in. Large clean room with a very comfortable King size bed. Wifi hook up was fast. Very quiet. Easy accessibility to Destiny Mall & Dinosaur Bar-B-Cue. Hot & cold buffet breakfast was delicious & was included. Staff were very friendly. We will return.

As he often does, our smaller dog came with us to this hotel. Our son had a later in the day, away college game in Morrisville with no close, certainly no pet friendly, hotel availability to the college. A win meant we needed to return the next day, thus we decided to split the difference between our son's school (1 hr further southwest from this BW plus) and Morrisville (47 minutes southeast from BW plus Liverpool/Syracuse, but easy route to hotel, even in the dark) so the next days travels would be minimized either way we needed to go, as home was over 4hrs away. The first room assigned had a "Do not disturb" sign on the door, nor did the card key work. We went back to the desk where a simple misread hand written number earlier between two employees caused a wrong room to previously be issued. It was no issue for us, but the front desk guy remaining on duty was multiple times very apologetic. We had no issue, realizing mistakes happen. We got our reissued new room, which was on the 2nd floor. It was at the end of the hotel nearest the thruway, with just 2 rooms and then 2 conference rooms, so VERY quite and perfect for having our dog. He is dog typical in that hearing unknown people outside the newly strange room can cause him to let out a "protection of us" warning bark, at times, of which we like to limit for everyones comfort. He heard NOTHING all night and thus not even one small protection growl. I turned the fan in the room to "on," thus it continued running constantly, creating enough white noise that drowned out any minimal thruway vehicle noise. As well, being set off from the main hall traffic kept our dog and us from hearing ANYTHING all night! So, for a hotel we slept very well! Hotel was clean and comfortable and certainly was at the expected class level of a Best Western class hotel- which is what I base my star rating reviews off of, aka not expecting the Park Plaza at a traveler rated hotel, but the BW plus Liverpool/Syracuse was very nice for it's class level. If being ultra picky, which I'm not, but may matter to you thus I'll mention, the hall carpeting is showing a little wear and our bathroom floor had a few broken porcelain tiles (not uncommon in any home with tile). A few more obscure things in the room that you might only "spring clean" if it were your home, may be headed towards that spring need, but honestly no issue. If it is, you are staying at the wrong class hotel and didn't pay enough money for what you are expecting. For the central NY Finger Lakes area hotel prices, this hotel is a better buy considering price, condition and value. What I consider to be a bonus at any hotel, complimentary breakfast, was on par with breakfast typical to this type of hotel and served its purpose. There is an indoor pool that we didn't get to use, or actually even see. You are asked to call the hotel directly if booking with a dog. They only have so many pet rooms to issue, so don't just show up with a dog if they still have bookable rooms showing online, as they might not have a "dog" room available, call. Great pet hotel (little pricier pet fee at $25 than many, BUT it WAS silent for our pet and thus us and all guest!) and I would recommend it for those without a pet too! This is a decent, quiet hotel to lay your head on a clean pillow, nice room, with easy on/off access to the Thruway near western Syracuse.

Our stay was for 3 nights. It was the worst experience I have had in all the years of my travels. 2 smoke alarms, Our room was assigned to someone else and they walked into our room, the hotel had us leaving a day earlier, provided confirmation told it was take care of, left our room for a while and on return found we were locked out of our room. Given a wake up call and hour early, then overcharged for the night the hotel did not have us listed for. Extremely poor and would not recommend to anyone.

Best Western always does a great job. The room we had was very clean and big. Pull out couch, 2 queen beds, 2 TVs, a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was spacious with an automatic closing door. It is a 2 story building hotel. We were on the second floor and there is an elevator and stairs. Breakfast was included with our stay. It was in the front lobby. Make sure you go early as it filled up pretty quickly and there are only a few tables. A good variety of breakfast foods, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, fruit. Great spot for an overnight stay. Not much around but short 5 minute drive to the main drag. The front desk staff member was friendly and kind. At check in we asked for recommendations for dinner restaurants and she provided us with a list of places that were about 6 minutes drive away. We ended up at The Retreat, which was on the list and turned out to be a nice restaurant/bar with a rustic feel. Stayed in early October. Travelling with my 2 brothers. Heading home after a road trip to Washington DC.

I stayed here for a weekend while I was visiting my alma mater, Syracuse University. The hotel was very quiet and smelled nice. Rooms were very clean, all amenities worked, and staff were pleasant. They always said hello when passing in the hallway. The beds were also super comfortable. Breakfast was a typical assortment but good. Gym was a good size. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveling through twice in the last year, Senior couple discovered this gem. Very handy location, close to I-90, far enough from the highway to be quiet, in a beautiful setting with lots of lawn and an attractive pond. Rooms large, comfortable and very clean. Dog friendly with lots of room to run right on the property. Staff very courteous, free hot breakfast better than most we have seen. We highly recommend, and will return. Congrats to the management and staff for running such a good show.

We were looking for a place near Upstate Hosital and this was convient next to thruway and 81 south. the suite room included micro wave and refrigerator so we were able to have leftovers from the restaurant for one meal

Stayed overnight during our drive home from Cape Cod/Boston. Location can be a little confusing with lots of different road turns. Inside the hotel is above average in modern amenities, but it was priced right and great safe location for tired travellers. Free continental breakfast, wifi was decent, very clean and offered ample free parking. We visited the super mega mall Destiny USA about 15 min drive which was a little difficult to reach with so many twisting roads. Hotel is located off the 90 HWY making it easier to continue our drive home. Overall, highly recommend with the close proximity to the highway, included parking, good value, safe and free breakfast. Will be visiting again anytime we travel to the east coast.

Rooms were clean and BK was including. Only down fall was when we walked into the room the Heat was blasting and it was extremely hot. It took a bit too cool down the room and the noise was very loud. I would stay here again - but next time ask for a room change. :)

We stopped here for an overnight stay and we were not disappointed. We always choose a Best Western and we are always satisfied . Clean, spotless and oversized comfortable rooms. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because of the unappetizing "free" breakfast that is served. That being said I compliment the staff and the all- night coffee stand.

Nice clean room. Nice helpful staff. Would def. recommend this location. I like it that it's pet friendly and will consider this next time I travel with my dog. Pool and hot tub area was clean and kept. Bed was very comfy. I will stay here again when I need to come to this location.

The room was very large. It was clean. Inn was close to good restaurants and near a NY thruway entrance. The desk personnel were helpful and polite. The room did have a slant with a crack in the floor.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Guest services actually lowered our rate (on their own initiative) as rates came down prior to our stay. The hotel i a brief 2 minute drive from the gate for the NY State Fairgrounds and the horse arena and barns. The connected steak house is good.

It was in a great location. It was very clean. The Bed was great. The A/C Heater needed to be controlled more. I loved the hot tub and pool. Breakfast could have had more items but it was good. The early check in really helped me out. Plenty of parking was great. TV in lobby was great as well as in the room.

This was a nice hotel, could use a little "tlc" or up grading, it was a place to lay our heads. Breakfast was descent. At least they had coffee. I do love the Best Westerns comfy beds and silk duvet covers.

I stayed here on 8/27 and I was very happy with my stay. Excellent check-in experience with Tabitha at the front desk. She was super friendly, professional, and helpful. Room was very clean and large. Very comfy beds. Really enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The hot tub in the pool was fun, but maybe slightly high in pH which made my eyes sting quite a bit. Check-out experience was quick and efficient. I love that the hotel is beside a lake with picnic tables, great place to enjoy a meal. Great location as well right off the highway. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Everything in the room is good, particularly the bed, very comfortable, internet is fast, air conditioning is quiet, quality is good, it qualifies as Best western plus, but others are not up to Best western plus standard, such as the breakfast, I have been in regular Best Western hotel, the breakfast is a lot better than this so-called B/W plus hotel, and the price is almost $200 which I think is a bit overprice. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay.

After spending a few days in Washington we drove 6 hours to upstate New York where we stayed here overnight. The hotel is old but clean and it was nice to walk by the lake out front. It is close to a small area with shops and restaurants. Breakfast had essentials- waffle machine, bananas and yogurt.

Just got home from your hotel. We were welcomed by Tabitha at check-in yesterday and she was extremely helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had some extra time so we enjoyed the pool too...great way to relax after our road trip there. We had to leave very early this morning and were very glad for the 6:00 start for breakfast. I love the waffles!

Stayed for 3 nights. Chose the location for its proximity to Destiny USA, ballpark, outlet mall, and finger lake area. Chose this particular hotel based on price and reviews. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room, comfy bed- what more could you want when you want a place just to sleep. Wifi worked perfectly. No issues with this place at all! If you are looking for a nice indoor pool, this was very small. Can't tell you what the water was like, as did not use.

Clean room on first floor. Residents in unit above us stamped around a lot - kids most likely. Not a problem later at night. Occasionally heard noise from water pipes. Very good rates. Couch was too soft. Cable TV was excellent - many stations including streaming on-demand. Beautiful grounds. Would have no hesitation about staying there again.

The staff was awful. They messed up my bill on check-out and could not fix it. The girl at the front counter had no idea what she was doing. There was no manager on duty to talk to either. The check-in was equally awful. Very rude staff. I have stayed in over 200 hotels in the last year and have never had such an awful experience. I would never recommend this place

I was SO DISAPOINTED. The pool was yellow and so strong of chlorine that it burned our skin and sinuses. The room keys did not work and we were up and down the elevator with a tired baby 4 times until they finally came up with a key...but then we couldn't leave and get back in without a key...aaarrrggg. The refrigerator was unplugged and took all night to cool the milk, which we threw out the next day. The towels were very thin and had foreign, human waste on them and there was no microwave. The coffee pot made only 1.5 cups of coffee and the couch was broken and sagging in the middle. We arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon and had to wait out in the hall for them to finish cleaning the room...we waited 1/2 hour. My Grandson came to visit and I made him take a shower after swimming because he said his skin burned. All in all, it was VERY disapointing for a supposed 3 star hotel. We visit Syracuse New York quite often and the only one thing I can say that was good about this hotel is that it was right off the NY Thruway...loud with traffic noise though and planes going over head every few minutes. Really a BAD EXPERIENCE !!!

I would recommend this Hotel to friends. The room size was great and very comfortable. My wife and I really enjoyed the great breakfast. The housekeeping staff did wonderful job at keeping our room spotless.

The business model at this hotel needs some attention. Staff was not present at check-in or check-out . Room was not clean, HVAC was noisy. TV remote batteries were dead and shower drain slow. Best Western can do better and did so at several other locations on our 13 day trip to Quebec, Adirondack and Berkshires.

As usual with Most Best Westerns I had a very Satisfactory stay with my brother during the Syracuse Nationals Hot Rod show this weekend. The hotel is clean and everything worked well with no issues. The only minor thing was that the alarm clock was flashing as I guess someone had unplugged it, so we hd to reset the time etc. but no big problem. The hotel is away from the major roads on its own very large property, so it was very quiet compared to the other hotels on the main strip. Although if your looking for action and want to watch the cruising during the Nationals, you'll have to stay at one of the other hotels on the main strip. But for a quiet nights sleep this one is better. My only criticism would be that the indoor pool is very small and the pillows are smaller than other Best Westerns. comfortable, but a bit small.

Our room was not ready when we arrived, we were greeted with " I'm sorry.....", not hello or how can I help you? She forgot to mention to the young man (next shift) and we had to tell him we were waiting for a room. He was very attentive, helpful with wifi, restaurants and fridge. The AC was hard to figure out and noisy, the room was just average, bathroom needed repairs - cleaning grout and fixing wallpaper would give it a boost. Why do hotels put a one cup coffee maker in a room that is clearly for two or more? However coffee/hot water available in the lobby. Breakfast was the usual "free breakfast", some good, some bad stuff. Paid a 30$ increase on a Thursday night? It was ok for a quick getaway, however I would not stay there again.

This hotel was my company's choice to put me up during a 3-day conference in Syracuse. Not sure what the "Plus" is for. It seems to be a basic hotel. I arrived around 10pm and when I checked in the man behind the desk told me he had to go check my room. I'm unsure why. The room it self was clean and comfortable, other than the air conditioner, which was difficult to control. It did drown out the noise of the Thru-Way just outside the window, though. The refrigerator cycled on and off and was enough to drown out the AC. There was a strange smell in the lobby area, almost a slight sewer smell, that wafted up the open stairway to the second floor so I smelled it as I stepped out of my upstairs room. At least the smell didn't come into my room. There was a conference room right next door to my room that was not in use during my stay. It may have been a noise issue if anyone had been using it. The free wi-fi is good. Breakfast is available, however, I did not partake during my stay.

We were in town for a local concert and I was incredibly disappointed by the "quality" best western "plus". First off, there was a hair in the bath tub (likely the cleaning lady's but still unacceptable) There was a huge crack in the tile of the bathroom floor, there were smudges and smears on the mirror, a stain on the hand towel as well as the bed cover. No sleep timer on the remote. Just overall not a quality place to stay.

Arrived at the hotel n the young lady informed me, "that the rooms where not ready". So, I told her I take a seat nwait. The polite n nice young lDywent onto explain this to several other guest after me. When she had a room ready, she quietly approached me n set up our room. We went to it and then left to complete our visit to the city. We returned late n the TV in room 220 n iron both did not work. Everything else was fine! Bed comfy, mini fridge, did not check indoor pool or workout room. Forgot to report TV n iron! But a great place to rest ones head!

I don't usually write poor reviews but here we go. Not a great hotel. It is clean & quiet. But terrible mattress and lumpy, tiny pillows. Air conditioner very hard to control. Breakfast was terrible. Just terrible. Coffee was undrinkable and eggs were inedible. Bagels stale. I will not return. There are much better choices in the area

we stayed at the best western in york me and in syracuse NY and we loved it. In fact, for the price there is no better. Clean room, nice pool, very good beds and a quiet sleep. I have stayed at other hotels and the internet always sucked but never at best western

Centrally located and nicely maintained hotel. We're in town to attend a wedding and would not hesitate to recommend this property. We plan to stay at this hotel next week when we again pass through Syracuse.

There were a couple of bumps like fridge turned off and TV cable not working correctly. Both were fixed promptly or at least reasonably. When weekend include lots of kids hot tub almost unusable. Breakfast had waffles, eggs, sausage, juices, cereal, yougurt, fruits breads etc. Computer printer doesn't appear to connect so could not print my boarding pass.

We chose this hotel because of some wonderful Best Western stays in Colorado and Arizona. This location was disappointing. The bathroom was not clean. There was mold around the shower and toilet. The carpet in the room was sticky. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The breakfast had limited options. However, the staff was helpful.

Excellant staff, very welcoming. They had the lobby and breakfast area decorated in Blue & Orange balloons for the Syracuse graduation that weekend. Loved the warm cookies in the late afternoon and that the coffee was always available.

Overall my stay was enjoyable. I did not use the hotel much, but would definitely recommend it. The check in was smooth and timely. Considering we spent hours traveling and arrived late night. It was nice to check in quickly and hit the sack.

I stayed for a week during my last week in NY before moving to CA. It was good clean and relaxing. Breakfast was decent. The only thing to note is to avoid rooms that are adjacent to the conference room on the second floor which they sometimes rent out for parties. It was extremely loud one Saturday afternoon.

After a screw up at another hotel where they lost our reservation, we ended up at the Best Western Plus late at night. They were so nice to us and so accommodating. The lady at the front desk was so pleasant and nice. It was so wonderful after the stress we had just endured trying to find a place last minute. The rooms are you standard hotel room. They are very nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. I usually do not sleep well at hotels but my husband and I both slept like babies on those beds. I would definatly book this place again when I am in the area. Comfort and Caring. You can't go wrong with that.

The motel is just right off I-90 which make very nice for long traveler. The front desk staff was very nice. The breakfast was nice and hot. The only thing I didn't like was seeing thousand of cigarettes butts at all side door entrances. This motel also a pet friendly motel and there are lots of grass area to walk your dog.

We booked a queen suite for my 9-year-old daughter to do a small birthday celebration. She and 2 friends (and myself, of course) swam, and sat in the hot tub, we ordered in pizza from Gino & Joe's down the road (super yummy) then swam some more. We got up for the breakfast (again, yummy) and then hit the pool for another couple hours before check-out. The girls all had an amazing time! I would do this again in a heart-beat!

everyone was friendly and more than helpful the room was nice, the only issue was mold starting on the wall in the shower otherwise everything looked clean and exceptionable. it was nice to be able to walk in and have them expecting me then wake up and not have to stand in line to check out

Comfortable bed and room. We rested very well and the Jacuzzi was nice to relax in for awhile. Tully's was 5 minutes away if you want to get out for a little bit and Destiny mall is 10 minutes away tops

This hotel has a wonderful pool and hot tub. Hotels in Syracuse along the I81 are difficult to find. This Best Western was more money because of the weekend but made for a good jumping off point for the next part of our trip.

Overall terrible stay. The front desk staff were very nonchalant about everything and gave me a wi-fi password, but no ID. Had to call to confirm it was the same one. There was some kind of birthday party going on so kids were running the hallways the entire time, yelling and screaming. The pool was super small from what I saw and the kids were loudly playing "Marco Polo" in the pool. I could also pretty much hear the entire conversation of our next door neighbors through the paper thin walls. I think I connected to the internet once, and then I never connected to it again. The rooms aren't terrible, but they could be cleaner. The bathrooms had stains on the floor as well as the shower curtain. The lamp also had some suspicious looking stains on it which I don't even want to think about. The breakfast in the morning was mediocre. I expect fake eggs, but these almost tasted like playdough. The same kids from the night before were all over the food too in their bathing suits and bare feet. All the adults who were eating in the dining room were visibly peeved as they had to deal with the screaming heathens again. They were all hacking and sneezing so I really won't be surprised if I get sick later. The mom who was supposed to be overseeing this pack was distracted and yelling at them as well. Then right after they finished breakfast they went back into the pool (apparently they never learned to wait after eating before swimming). For $135, this stay was ridiculous. Overall really not a great stay. I've stayed at Best Western's that were not plus that were MUCH better. I think I would have been better at a Motel 6.

Stayed here for 3 nights during the kids March Break. The room was clean and spacious. Our room came with a fridge which is convenient to keep snacks cold. Internet was free the speed was OK. The free breakfast was OK. Eggs and one meat. Bacon one day and sausage the next. The rest of the breakfast is the usual. Free parking. The exercise room was ok just enough equipment for a good work out. Pool was Ok Average size. The first night the people next door were noisy. (Sunday) But the next two nights it was quiet. Their wasn't many quests those two nights. The neighborhood looks run down a bit. A Lockheed Martin plant is in the back. The highway is just off to the side so you can hear the trucks at night depending which way your room faces. For the price I would stay here again.

cigar odor in room not acceptable in a non smoking room staff gave us febreeze t ospray in the room instead of offering another room, we had 2 rooms for our group.. both smelled the same. sheets had stains and holes in them. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out sofa in the family suite. breakfast was awful. watery eggs, waffles did not cook properly. Staff was friendly at check in.

Came here for one overnight, but I was very satisfied with check-in, the size of the suite room, the cleanliness and comfort of the bed. My only two complaints would be the so-so quality of the pillows and that the toilet flush was as loud as an airplane taking off. Didn't try the air-conditioning as it was winter, and no loud noises from next door or below. Great room for a family of four with kids.

This hotel had great staff. The only problems we had were where our room was - above a door that kept slamming shut whenever anyone would enter the hotel. It was very annoying but as long as you don't get this room right beside the stairs, you should be good. The hotel is great otherwise and although the Canadian loonie sucked for our exchange rates this trip, we would definitely go back here if we needed a place close to Syracuse to stay.

We used our points, and it was low pricing for post-holidays. We had stayed here before, a few years ago. I liked the proximity to the highway. After driving for the day, upon our arrival, during a snowstorm, we were given our room on the upper floor - a 2 queen suite. The room was unfit for guests, with a smoky smell, some sort of a fan, unmade bed - we didn't stay in the room to see what else was wrong. The gentleman at the front desk, was very apologetic and switched our room immediately to one on the lower floor. I think the furniture and bedding needs some upgrading - the pillows were the size of cushions and lumpy, the sheets had small holes, the blanket for the sofa bed was very worn, the sofas were worn, with very low seating, the sofa bed was so worn that my six year old was very uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on top of the pillow cushions. There was a heat lamp in the bathroom. There was a part of the toilet seat that was broken, so it looked like there was something left on the toilet seat. The window by the heating unit had frost and ice all around it. The unit itself was quite loud. I promised my six year old to take him swimming in the indoor pool - it was kind of murky, but I had to keep my promise and we went in up to our waists only. The hot tub jets were so powerful, that my husband felt nauseous, and we could barely talk in the pool. We did not stay for long. The towels were the size of hand towels. The breakfast area was clean and the gentleman servicing the area was friendly. It was close to the front door, so it was a bit drafty when the door kept opening. The hallway to the rooms did not seem as it had been vacuumed in some time. This is the first review I've written. We have stayed in a lot of hotels. My six year old made me promise that we would never go back to this one.

This hotel is in a great location right off the highway (I-90.) It has all the amenities you could want (refrigerator, microwave, fitness room, wifi, free breakfast and pool.), but what it didn't have in my room was an updated heating/cooling system. The system was so loud that every time it turned on it it woke me up and unfortunately I couldn't change rooms because the hotel was booked that night.

A nice place to stay while in Syracuse area. I find the rooms very comfortable as all Best Westerns are in my experience. Only concern is no restaurant but an adequate free breakfast is all I ever require

I am disappointed I thought the Best Western was better than this. There was mold in the caulking around the sink and the Shower curtain appeared not clean, had blue on it like a prior customer shampoo maybe. Could have been cleaner for sure.

Our stay was great, but our first room we had , it was on the first floor near the commercial laundry room , and the employees were playing their music loud and the bathroom had a strange odor. We went to the front desk and talked to Shaun and he immediately moved us to another room. This one was way better. The room was clean and TV's were fine. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom door could have a feature that could keep it open when you are just going in to wash your hands or fix your hair. And the bathroom light threw off way too much heat, so I feel that It could be changed to something more safer. However, I did appreciate a carbon monoxide detector in the room. I would recommend updating the pool area and fix the lighting and have a shower dial to turn on the pool shower when you are ready to leave. Breakfast was simple, though, a little bit more variety could be used. The area is kinda slow, but it is a very quick trip to the City of Syracuse.

We were in the Syracuse area for a Super Bowl party and had stayed at this Best Western for the same event last year. We booked again for this year and were totally satisfied. It is a great value for the price and conveniently located. The help is friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel is neat and clean. We'll likely stay there again next year.

I love this hotel. Economically priced, and fairly new, well maintained. This was the best bed I ever slept in, and I stay over 30 nights per year in hotels. I have stayed here several times before, and always look forward to coming back to this hotel

I took the the family to Niagara Falls over the summer and chose to stay outside of Niagara due to the high cost of hotel stay. I found this place and do not regret it one bit. The pool was great and not to mention the free breakfast. THe rooms were in nice kept. shape!

This is a nice, newer hotel. It is conveniently located near Syracuse, the lake, shopping, restaurants, etc. The room and bed are comfortable. The hot tub and pool are refreshing. It is easy to get on/off major highways.

Nice location, friendly staff. Always remember when you have an indoor pool in a small hotel, kids are plentiful and run the halls. Food below average, maintence not great , but clean. Not easy to find ,mbut very convenient .

I have stayed here several times. It is a good stopping point for me on my Buffalo trips. It is quiet clean and has a nice helpful staff. The breakfast is very nice and the local restaurants are very nice.

Convenient location; helpful staff, nice amenities. The availability of the pool and complimentary breakfast beat the surrounding lodging options. The room had a decent decor. Bath had soft linens and plenty of them.

We stayed here because reviews were so great. a bit misleading... almost makes me wonder whether there are made up reviews on here. Room heating system was so loud it sounded like a clunky old diesel engine -- eventually just shut it off to trade off sleep for heat. Pool was mirky and hot tub smelled like dirt (literally). Pool towels were non existent on pool towel rack (even thought I was the first one there in the morning). Breakfast was pretty meager, with runny wattery scrambled egg and no whole wheat options in any of the bread/bagel/toast to give even some semblance of food consciousness. All that said, staff were friendly and as helpful as I could expect them to be. Bigger problem here is management's poor attention to the small stuff.

Checked in by friendly staff as usual. Desk clerk upgraded my room without being asked. The bed seemed as if it were brand new which led to a well needed good night's rest. Breakfast was good and fresh. Will use this hotel next time I'm in the area.

reservation process was easy and no problems with check in. There were 4 sisters staying in this room and there was plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after an afternoon at family funeral. The breakfast was excellent and check out was a breeze.

Traveled to Syracuse for business and was booked at the Best Western. The hotel is just a minute or so off of I-90. The rate was <$100, which is great for a first floor room with two queen beds. Hotel was not busy. The lobby is very clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. It opens up into the breakfast area. The room was clean. Only complaint is that the towels were a bit worn, frayed at the edges. There were no wash cloths, but I called the front desk and within about 2 minutes, they were delivered. Wireless internet worked flawlessly. Breakfast buffet covered all of the breakfast bases. I wish they had bananas, but they had just about everything else. And it all seemed fresh. I didn't check out the pool or fitness or business centers. Considering the price and amenities, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Tucked away in Liverpool NY. Minutes from the Destiny USA Mall! Liverpool has a great Lights on the Lake drive during the holiday season. Just off Interstate 90. well situated for shopping and touring the area. Really enjoyed it.

We wanted to do some dancing in Fulton, NY, and decided to spend the weekend. It was an easy access off the highway, and were able to check in early. We relaxed in the pool, found a place to have dinner along the way to the dance, and had a restful night afterwords. The rest of the weekend was peaceful and fulled with shopping, swimming and relaxing. I look forward to going there again.

This BW + is certainly up to the standard that you'd expect. Beautiful area, close to everything, reasonable rates, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, great restaurant on site. If your'e travelling to the Syracuse area, this is the place to stay.

I was pleased with the accommodations as well as the friendly staff. George checked us in and out- working over Thanksgiving with a smile on his face. I was very satisfied with the service, the breakfast and the room. It's proximity to the thruway is perfect with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Very clean. We ended up having to book an extra room because of a 21st birthday party. The employees where very nice and helpful. I would surely return. breakfast was also very good. I never had an opportunity to go swimming but the bathrooms in the rooms where heated a little bit higher than the rest of the rooms which was when we had to shower.

Nice hotel which was very clean and comfortable. Room was nice and spacious. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful although check out staff was not as friendly and professional. Breakfast could definitely be better, and hot tub jets were a bit to strong which made it not very enjoyable to sit in the hot tub.(Chose hotel because it included breakfast and had a hot tub) Would definitely stay in this hotel again but wish the breakfast was better and hot tub could get fixed up so it was enjoyable to sit in. Hotel was right off the highway and very easy to find.

A surprise overnighter with family was the reason for our visit. The hotel employees were very nice. Clean hotel, great pool and hot tub. Convenient location and the kids loved the cookies and juice. Super fast room service with more towels. Would definitely recommend to others

Exceeded all my expectations! Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable, and the staff is absolutely superb. George, the front desk manager, goes out of his way to accommodate whatever needs you have. I had a terrible experience at another hotel and he upgraded me when I chose to stay here instead. I will never stay anywhere else ever again in Syracuse!!

The room was nice and big. The beds were soft but not too soft. The TV worked great. The breakfast was very good. The pool was nice as well as the jaquise. The bathroom needed work, it had an odor but was passible.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover between Canada and New York City. Choose it mainly due to the proximity to the Destiny mall. Bed was comfy and it is fairly clean but don't have much more to say. Close to the highway so you do get some noise and there is nothing really close by around it. I did request a renovated room - it did not look renovated. Smallest shampoo bottles I have seen - barely enough for 3 people that we were. Breakfast was ok. All in all, average!

Good location, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Stayed for a conference at a nearby hotel couldn't get a room at that location, glad it didn't work out, the rate was cheaper than the conference hotel and was better. Very happy with the hotel overall.

Reasonably priced, clean, tastefully decorated. Couldn't ask for more. Many hotels in the area were much more expensive. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

The rooms at this hotel were clean and in great shape. I was really impressed. The one thing that was disappointing was the Breakfast. Danishes were stale and the coffee was horribly weak. If they could get the breakfast on the right track this place would have gotten five stars to me. If I am ever in that area again I will definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly and made you feel at home. The rooms were clean. The hallways were well lit. The breakfast in the morning was good. My only issue was that I didn't have time to go to their indoor pool.

We spent several night this past week. We had the king suite. It was very large with a sitting room area with a separate TV etc. The check in was very easy. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They offer an assortment of items for their breakfast which were tasty

Staff was VERY pleasant and helpful. Hotel and rooms were clean and new. Continental breakfast had many options although not very healthy ones. It was standard fair. Near highway without highway noise. Several eating options within reasonable distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable. We were just driving through Syracuse and wanted to stop for the night and visit with family. My sister inlaw was staying here and it allowed us more time together.

Stayed one night while shopping in nearby Waterloo and Syracuse. From the minute we walked in the customer service was excellent. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady who not only directed us to local shops and restaurants but also chatted with us about our trip. The double queen room was large and comfortable. The shower was good and shampoo, etc. provided. The pool was a bit cold but the hot tub was lovely. Highly recommended.

We stayed here on our way home from an East Coast vacation. I would like to say thanks to Babs who checked us in and even upgraded our room, you're awesome. Also thanks to Jennifer and George for all you did. George you rock !!!!!, thanks for going out of your way and making it an enjoyable visit. Room was excellent and hotel staff was great. First time at this hotel and I'd stay here again if I'm in the area. What more can ya want.....clean and comfortable rooms, good price and an awesome staff. THANKS FOR A GREAT VISIT.

I expected more services, at least a kitchen or sandwiches on hand.. really was spoor selection in the vending machine too.. potato chips and chocolate bars aren't healthy food choices.. I doubt I would stay there again..

First time at this hotel on way to Boston, was very clean and staff very friendly. Booked a stay for the return trip since I knew this stay was good hotel. Staff was very friendly and hotel was right off the highway easy to find.

We stayed here three nights for a long football weekend. We found the setting delightful. A lovely pond accents the entrance and provides a quiet venue for coffee in the mornings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was...as expected. But the room exceeded my expectations. The bed was wonderful and while the hotel is obviously not a new property, the rooms have been well kept and were meticulously clean. We would stay here again.

this was a very clean and well run hotel. service excellent. breakfast very good though I would not use powdered eggs! Bed very comfortable and hotel very quiet. Hot tub very nice. Would def stay here again and/or recommend it,

Recent trip to New England made this a convenient stopping place for over night stay. Room was well kept and staff was very helpful and accommodating. The morning breakfast hostess, Barbara was just that ....a friendly hostess that met guests with a smile and welcoming greeting. Breakfast bar was kept full and tables clean as guests ate and left to check out. She was a reason we stayed again on our return trip to Ohio. Parking space is a bit limited but overall , pleasant over night stays.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean during our stay, we had a very large room with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Also had a sink by the appliances which made it easy to make coffee and brush your teeth while your spouse in in the bathroom. We had no issues at all, plenty of parking, easy to enter and exit the property. No services within walking distance but a fairly short drive got you food, drinks, gas etc. We were very happy with everything and everyone we had contact with.
