GLō Best Western Lexington

Hotel staff was nice, room was clean, breakfast was as expected for a hotel, so overall very good. With the on line check in, I followed the process and handed my room keys upon arrival. Hotel appearance not typical but it didn't affect the stay

Very nice hotel at a great price. Spacious and clean room. Seems newly updated or constructed. Convenient location with easy off and on at the highway. Gas and food on the same street makes things very convenient. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay here again

Oh my goodness, where do I start - great curb appeal lead right into a very trendy lobby where the registrar couldn't have been more pleasant! We took the elevator after securing one of the many luggage carts available and arrived at our floor. The wonderfulness continued….everything was neat and clean and very inviting! No stained carpet or scratched pain on the walls! We opened the door to our room and stood in amazement at the great size of it! The bright colors, the ability to raise and lower the window treatment to allow sunlight or room darken, the base of the lamps having usb ports and/or plug-ins made everything handy! The refrigerator and microwave were clean… The shower was AMAZING with a ceiling rain head plus an adjustable hand held shower head! A really nice size TV which included a listing of shows and times (many hotels/motels do not offer this and it's very frustrating)! In the morning we went down for the free breakfast and the GREATNESS continued…..along with the 2 typical waffle makers, they had a variety of pastries/breads available with a toaster, cereal and oatmeal in a heated crockpot, and a fresh yogurt machine!!!!! Then in warners were, eggs, chicken strips, sausage patties, and fried potatoes that were wonderful! They had a strawberry topping for the waffles, along with other options with the typical syrup! There was juice, coffee, tea and milk. However, what impressed my husband was actual salt and pepper shakers on the table - we didn't have to sit and tear open 10 little packets prior to eating! To sum it up - it was WONDERFUL!

We walked in rather late as weary travels and immediately smiled at the bright and colorful interior and the warm greeting from the receptionist. She had emailed me the forms to fill out so we grabbed a key and headed to the room. There were 5 luggage carts there to use. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The morning breakfast and seating area was stocked and clean. This is one of the best night's sleep that we have had at a hotel (close to the interstate but no road noise). Congrats, Best Western! You can GLO about this one. Oh! Can't forget to mention it's reasonable, too!

Super clean and the service was 5 stars. The rooms were awesome, and the staff was friendly and kind. Always helpful, and the breakfast was good. Housekeeping was the best thing in the hotel they take care of you and your needs. The smell in the hotel and room was amazing. I want to know what they use.

Not only was this one of the cleanest hotels that we have stayed in, it also has the most friendly staff. Everyone with whom we came in contact was warm and friendly, giving us advice on where to go for local barbque(Red State bar Que). The breakfast was fabulous! Eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh made yogurt machine, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, coffee juices, and more! There is no carpet in the rooms so it smells fresh and clean! I wish more hotels would pull out that nasty carpet! Bathroom was spic and span. Coffee maker (pods) in the room, small fridge and microwave. Black out shade fits into a groove in the window sill do it is truly a blackout shade! Perfect!!!!! The architects and engineers for these hotels are fabulous. The interiors designers need a little coaching in less is more in patterns. Oh, and it's pet friendly!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and the staff was very personable and friendly. The decor was very cute and there were lots of nice details throughout. The free breakfast was good, as well. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we're in the Lexington area.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. The bed and pillows were like a cloud! I got a text before arrival to preregister and this made check-in super simple. I had the key card in hand within just a couple of minutes. Easy to find & get to off I-75 with an ample sized, well lit parking lot. There is a gas station and a Cracker Barrel at either end of the short street which made refueling and lunch very convenient. The only downside is that we had really poor cell reception (Verizon) and the WiFi would not work on either mine or my husband's cell phones. This wasn't a huge problem as we were only there for one night, but it did impact the usability of our devices quite a bit. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area. We've stayed in Lexington quite a bit and have always been impressed with everyone's hospitality and willingness to share their favorite places to go around town. This lodging option definitely deserves to be placed near the top of the list.

Stayed here when returning home from Florida. Property and room were clean. Very quiet location. Handy to interstate. Very nice modern decor. Restaurant within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The hotel is well taken care of. The premises and inside of the building are clean and appealing. The hotel rooms are spacious and I love the fact that you get so many pillows on the bed. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. Check in and check out is quick and customer service is top-notch.

Room is comfortable. Nice layout. Very quiet. Check in and out was simple. Price wise was nice. It's a very good room for a good price. Bed is comfortable. Television is well placed. The bathroom is spacey and the shower is nice. You can't hear anything going on outside the room and even better anything going on inside the room. Keurig coffee maker is a nice touch

The hotel staff was so friendly, professional, helpful, polite and went way beyond to assist me. The hotel and rooms are clean and fresh! The breakfast is AMAZING! Fluffy eggs and biscuits, sausage and bacon is hot and fresh, pancakes and waffles too! It's a safe place for families as well. Great location. I have zero complaints! I'm coming back for sure!

Staff was very friendly. Lobby was nice, clean, and smelled wonderful. Room was very clean. The bed was comfortable…No complaints! Nice breakfast was included, with all the typical foods/drinks. We would definitely stay there again. Enjoyed the stay.

Very nice new hotel. The decor is very trendy and modern. The staff was wonderful. we stay in Best Westerns very often. We love the fact that they accept our service dog. breakfast is always fantastic. At This hotel the scrambled eggs with the best I've ever had.

Excellent stay, rooms are clean and nicely remodeled. Showers are walk in and hot! Breakfast was very good not just cereal it had a full breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Nice pool for the kids. We loved the gym also. I would stay here again!

Very nice and clean. Breakfast was really good wasn't expecting a full breakfast but it was really nice. Came to watch the sweet 16 tournament game and really glad we picked this hotel. Definitely will stay here again. Also pet friendly and was really happy about that.

Everything was great. The only issue I could say was not perfect was the AC. It only went down to 66 and it was far from 66 in the room. It would run then kick off just long enough that I'd start to get hotand/or sweat and then it would kick on. Ikepr the shade down to keep out heat thru the day but it just was not cool enough for me and my crew. It was stuffy out in the hallway as well. Everything else was wonderful. I brought my dog and was delighted with that. Staff was great if we needed anything at all. Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Smart TV would have been better but no complaint about that either. Loved every single thing except the AC.

I give this hotel 5 stars it has a modern retro vibe. One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Spacious room and comfortable beds. The gym was surprisingly spacious with lots of equipment. Amara who worked the front desk went way above and beyond what to assist me other staff was friendly. . Great location. Close to full arena 20 minutes from the mall and lots of restaurants . I will stay at this hotel again.

Great place. Pleasant staff. Cool design. Fair price. Nice gym. Did not swim but pool looked very nice. Our Shower was nice. Blackout shade helped a lot for sleeping in. I have to use 200 minimum characters for this review which is annoying, but doesn't reflect on this nice hotel.

We've always had great stays at this hotel. It's always so clean, the staff are super nice, and it's in a great location that's around a 10 minute drive to downtown. The only issue this time was the people above us stomped around very loudly until late at night and it started again at 7 am. We didn't get much sleep because of this. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest you request a room on the 4th floor where this won't happen to you!

I was traveling with my daughter and her two year old daughter. After a 9 hour drive, we stopped in Lexington. Never having stayed in a Glo before, so we thought we'd give it a try. The room was okay, kind of dark and the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, but we didn't really care, we just needed some sleep to get on the road for the rest of our trip. During the night, our toddler got sick, puking in her sleep on the bed. I did the best I could to clean it up with nothing but the towels in the bathroom to do it with. The next morning she had a horrible diaper that leaked onto the sheet as well, so before we checked out, we made sure to pull the sheets off the beds, wrap them up so no one had to touch the yuck. Then we made sure that the towels we used were also in a neat pile, easy to pick up without touching any yuck and we tied up the garbage with the bad diaper in it. Apparently that wasn't good enough, because they charged me $75 for the extra cleaning they had to do. Now, I have managed a couple of different hotels and never in my experience have we ever charged a guest that took the time to strip the beds and ready the room, even if they had an accident in the bed. I understand that the mess from the baby being sick was not pleasant, but everything could be laundered and made clean. When I called to ask about why they were charging me, I was told that I had to replace the linens because they were contaminated. Wow, it was a 2 year old, not an adult and nothing was stained, just soiled. Then on top of that, I was transferred to a manager that couldn't handle me questioning it and actually yelled at me. Folks, if this hotel has such bad laundry equipment and soaps that they would have to throw those towels away, then I can guarantee that they aren't getting the other bodily fluids you can't see out of their linens either. Talk about gross! If you stay here, just know that if you make any kind of a mess, you're gonna get charged and think twice before using their laundered linens.

Very nice hotel. VERY Clean rooms and property, friendly staff, restful stay. Highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels throughout this country and by far this is one of the best! We need more hotels like one. Best Western has really stepped it up!

Great hotel. It was the second time we stayed there to go to a Kentucky Wildcats basketball game. Amazingly comfortable bed. Great amenities. Very close to everything we needed. Will stay again next year. The staff us always friendly. Good free breakfast as well. Great coffee

Stayed this past weekend for a cheer competition. The front desk staff was very inviting and extremely helpful when it came to the needs of our large group. When my daughter left behind her beloved stuffie, they made sure to keep it safe for us until we could arrange pickup!! Love the text feature direct to the front desk. 10/10

Hotel was clean, room well appointed and staff friendly. Hotel has a free Level II EV charger which was a nice find so I could recharge overnight. Breakfast was minimal and needs more variety and quality.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. You really cannot beat the price for the luxury you get. The hotel is very modern and very very luxurious. Will be staying again 100%. Also very close to everything and easy access to the downtown area

Great night stay! Staff was amazing and so was the room! Clean and comfortable. My husband enjoyed the breakfast! Lots of choices…. Lobby was incredible and the grounds clean. Not sure why I had to be charged an additional 55.00. I know 30.00 for our pup. They said to watch for a credit! What a pain…. No credit yet!

We booked the room to take our baby swimming for the first time. She loved the pool and we loved how spacious the room was. We also enjoyed how it was close it was to the City with a country feeling. Would recommend to others bringing their kids. Thank you

The room was comfortable, the shower was amazing! It's so hard to find a shower in a hotel that is spacious, has continuous hot water and I loved the way the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was easy to access and dispense. The breakfast was hot and delicious with a great variety. Both mornings we were there it was busy with lots of people but items were replenished in a timely fashion.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel looks like it was recently constructed. Loved that the rooms had laminate wood floors. It was a great stopping location for us on our way north convenient to the highway.

Our room was very clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again! The hotel was also very close and convenient to local bars and restaurants and close to the downtown area. Very quiet hotel and we had a very comfortable stay. We can't wait to visit again.

The hotel is a fantastic hotel! Absolutely beautiful! Breakfast was delicious! Hot FRESH coffee at ALL times of the day! They kept our room in tip top shape during our stay! They accomidated our daughter's birthday and allowed us to use the breakfast area to have a celebration for her! The travel team was taken care of! I HIGHLY recommend THIS hotel!!! The only down was the pillows were not comfortable!

A special thanks for welcoming our grandson, wife and 5 children because of clogged drain pipe and no water. It was fixed after 1 day but stayed 1 more night to enjoy the hotel. 2 queens and a roll away gave everyone a place to sleep. Breakfast ready in the morning was a treat and swimming in February was a real surprise for the kids.

The hotel was super nice! And the rates were a good price as well! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, but especially Amara! She was so kind and answered any questions we had and helped accommodate us with any needs we had! The beds and pillows were comfy, too! No complaints!

Over the top satisfied! As soon as we checked out I looked up all of the locations so we could stay in a Glo hotel every chance we get. Check in was super easy, staff very friendly, beautiful decor and design. Fancy hotel feel without outrageous pricing!

We were passing through. It is kind of a funky place with interesting wall decor in the lobby area, newer, clean. Room a little stark, but good size and bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. It was the best on the road breakfast with real eggs and fruit. Reasonable price.

The room was comfortable, although big for one person. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. I love all the pillows, that is a nice touch. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Thank you for a great night sleep.

I've been in Lexington for a few weeks now on business and have stayed at 4 different hotels. This GLo Best Western ranks the best and this is where I'll continue to stay for the balance of my business here in Lexington. Rooms are modern, nice and clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Amara at the front desk is especially friendly and extremely professional. She has been most helpful in ensuring my stay meets my needs and expectations. One of the hotels where I stayed prior to GLo was much more expensive per night but by no means better. I actually prefer and highly recommend GLo Lexington as it will always be my choice when doing overnight business in Lexington.

It was clean and comfortable. The parking was ample. Breakfast was good. The bed had 47,000+ pillows on it, but that was nice because they had fluffy soft ones, firm thinner ones, and everything in between.

My husband chose this hotel for our stay in Lexington. The hotel is bright and clean. Lots of light-filled spaces, great room, comfortable bed, and wonderful, satisfying breakfast. We would stay here again when visiting Lexington again.

If you are traveling with pets, this is the place. Updated and desirable rooms with pet friendly floors. Our favorite feature is the barn door to the spacious bathroom. I would love to have a bathroom exactly like this at my house.

Glitzy on the outside, but plenty of issues & corners cut otherwise. Room was very clean, though. I am finding it a problem that two hundred words are required to fill out this review, when I am doing so as a courtesy.

Nice hotel right off the highway in an enclave of about 3 or 4 other hotels. Clean & modern decor. Friendly staff at front desk & good selection of breakfast food with area kept very clean by nice staff. Indoor pool, laundry & fitness center all add up to make this a great budget friendly hotel for a stopover or longer stay if going to racetrack. Cracker Barrel full service restaurant that's open till 10 pm is within 100 yards & McDonald's is across the street. Sedona taphouse within 1 mile driving with broad menu & lots of draft beers. Room was comfortable & had microwave & fridge & keurig coffee maker. My only small negative would be soapy water run stains on the wall indicating a deeper bathroom clean might be added occasionally to keep up with frequent use of the rooms. Would stay here again & recommend.

Hotel staff is always friendly and the room was clean. My husband left his Apple Watch in our room and the maid promptly turned it in .Kara at the front desk immediately contacted us and offered to mail it and bill our credit card on file. This is exceptional service by todays standards.

The rooms were Clean, the location was convenient, and the staff was friendly. The Breakfast buffet was good, and hide a good variety to choose from! Would offer water for those who don't like the juice but other than that no complaints!

Excellent location off 64. We gassed up and pulled into the parking lot near the front door. All parking was well lit. (We are traveling with e-bikes, and are used to curious people checking them out) I used the pool. It was clean and quiet 9-10 pm The breakfast had a nice selection. We had requested a king, but as we were late reservations, only two queens were available. The “lamp side” was uncomfortable, so I just used the other. We would stay again.

Stayed 1 night while passing thru Lexington, KY. Hotel was just as described on website. Clean, spacious room. Lobby was clean and inviting with modern decor. Within walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Will stay here again if we are back in the area!

Seriously, the nicest mid-range hotel I've ever stayed at! Management greeted me BY NAME as I came & went, room was new, immaculate, & very comfortable. Hot breakfast was the usual mid-range fare. Only small criticism is that the microwave was on the floor and I practically had to lie on my stomach to get food in and out. :)

Rooms are comfortable, large, and clean. The bedding is very comfortable. Nice breakfast served with plenty of seating. It is Convenient to the Kentucky Horse Park and to the rest of Lexington. We very much enjoyed the hotel and the location.

Gel top mattress was very comfortable, great breakfast buffet in the morning as well. Pool was very clean as was the hotel itself. The hotel is located very close to Cracker Barrel so it was just a short walk to eat there. Also we noticed quite a few of the local restaurants offered free delivery to the hotel if you prefer to eat at the hotel witch is nice if you're tired and don't feel like driving around any more.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. Lots of pillows, lol. Didn't use the fitness room or pool as we arrived late. We slept so very well. The shower was nice. The shampoo, body wash, etc. was very nice as well.

This is such a beautiful hotel. It's a beautiful modern design. The furniture is fun, that probably sounds strange, but it is. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed, oh wow, it was extremely comfortable, slept very well. I really do like Glo.

Great hotel… only gave 4 star because faucet in bathroom was about to fall out and you could not turn exhaust fan on and bathroom light or it would blow the circuit. Great budget hotel! Will definitely stay with GLO again in future. I had a dog with me and it is set up great for pets!!!! Very clean and also very comfortable bed. Was quiet and relaxing, yet very convenient and in safe area. All staff super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel with a modern vibe. Clean, comfortable, convenient, with quiet, spacious rooms, gracious staff. This was our second stay. We stayed here on our way to Michigan and again 3 weeks later on our way home to Florida. We have a small dog and that is why we chose this hotel in the beginning but we would stay here again whether we had a dog or not.

This is one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in! The staff was very nice. They were very understanding of my late arrival. The breakfast was very good and offered more than just cold foods, cereal, muffins. The next time I travel I will be looking for GLO!

The room was unbelievably clean and fresh , spacious, beautiful , lobby was amazingly beautiful. Even the pool was nice and peaceful and refreshing. There wasn't one thing negative about this place. Breakfast bar was like a feast. I will always recommend and stay at Glo Best Western

Everything was very clean and well maintained. The decor was great!! The maintenance man was a top notch guy who really cared about the job. We slept so good in the bed and the room, so comfortable and cozy. The ice machine was very convenient and breakfast was good too.

Very nice Best Western with lovely views to the rear of the hotel of old stables. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious with “wood” vinyl floors (no carpet) and large walk-in showers. Breakfast and coffee included in price.

This was the first road trip for our Ridgeback “Sanyu “. I spoke with Sharnell several times before making the reservation. She was professional, kind and informative. My husband and I travel a lot and this hotel was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The cleanliness and kindness of the staff is superb. I will look for this hotel chain whenever we travel from now on.

Best stay in KY! We traveled from GA to MI for a family event & stayed at a few hotels during our stay & this one was THE BEST! Comfortable bed , clean room & loved the decor in the room. Nice two headed glass shower.

The place was clean and breakfast very nice but my review is based on the staff. They were very nice and friendly, went above and beyond and even allowed us to store a live tree in a storage room close to the front desk. It was a tree from my father in laws funeral service for my wife. The dayshift front desk lady offered a condolence to my family and they just did a fantastic job taking care of us! I'll stay there again for sure when I'm up that way and will be converting to best western as of now! Thanks again!

Good overall. Clean with comfortable beds. Good complimentary breakfast options. Pool was clean and maintained. Good area, near the highway. Lots of food options around and very close to Kentucky Horse Park. I would stay again. I loved that the rooms do not have carpet. They do have some dog friendly rooms, but that was not an issue for us.

This is the third time I have stayed at the below in the last three weeks. Generally my experience is excellent but this particular time I had to give an average review because the room was not cleaned very well. The shower was dirty and the walls I have no idea what was spilled on them but it was pretty nasty and that definitely put a dent on my stay. Also the hallway as the carpet was disgusting and had not been vacuumed or cleaned. Put in my previous days everything was very nice

I LOVE this place! It's a beautiful , modern hotel with great amenities! The breakfast was AWESOME! Everyrhing was super clean! I hate hotels with old and dirty looking bathrooms! None of that here! We stayed while playing in the Bluegrass Soccer games. I wil stay here EVERY time. The staff was super nice and very helpful. Very nice place place!!

This place nailed it! Grounds were nice, accommodations were fantastic, clean, bright, fresh room. European feel to the place since Globes is a European company. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Couldn't be more impressed and thats a tall order with me!! Will visit again if my travels bring me to horse country again!

Hesitant to air my grievances here, but neither the direct hotel staff nor Best Western corporate have offered any resolutions. I booked a room at GLo Best Western Lexington a week in advance using the “Book Early & Save” rate. I checked again the night before my arrival and the same room was $35 less! What's the point of a “Book Early & Save” rate if prices actually go down? I understand that prices can fluctuate, but if the hotel gets my assurances of staying via "Book Early," I should get their assurance that I will, in fact, "Save." If the price drops, that should be my rate. I should be entitled to the lowest rate they offer any guest for that same night. I texted the hotel and the manager offered to discuss it with me when I arrived, but she was never available during my stay. I contacted BW via a Twitter DM with my concern and they responded, asking for my phone number, email, and mailing address associated with the reservation. I did so immediately and even after a follow-up message from me, no one has gotten back to me in the week following my stay. Just disappointing.

Very clean, but very stark. It was modern but very cold and sterile. Very few surfaces to put stuff on and no carpeting or warm welcoming chairs in the room. To many little lights everywhere, irritating for sleeping.

Excellent accommodations that were clean, safe and well run. Stayed with our 2 dogs on a cross country trip and it was a location that worked well for us. The staff that was working when we arrived later in the evening was helpful and gave good recommendation for coffee the next day.

My wife and I had stayed at this hotel previously while visiting family in Lexington. The hotel is clean and has an artsy decor. The room was very nice and roomy. Breakfast was good even for a vegetarian, with adequate selections. The staff was friendly and caring. We had no major problems and really enjoyed our stay.

Room was very large and CLEAN !!! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were huge and hot water was abundant. The breakfasts were great and there was a nice variety. A great value!!!!

It was a nice stay. The bed was comfy and soft pillows. The air/heat worked well. I was kind of upset they have no bathtubs. However, the bathroom is huge and the shower. The walls are paper thin but it didn't bother us. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty, they had a different selection each morning on the hot plates. The wifi was great we used our fire stick and had no issues. The lighting in the rooms is weird. All of the lights are extremely bright and you can't use any of the lamps as a dim light during the evening time. It was still a great stay and I would book again if needed.

Anytime we stay in Lexington, we always choose to stay at Glo Best Western Lexington. It's super clean, super comfortable, the staff are helpful and kind and the prices are affordable. You will not be disappointed at all. Our daughter attended the University of Kentucky, so we stayed often while she was in school and even after she graduated, we loved Lexington so much that we go back for long weekends....Glo Best Western makes those quick trips, easy, inexpensive and comfortable!

The price for the accommodation was out of proportion. The room was adequate but overpriced. The bathroom has black mold next to the shower. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was helpful and accommodating by putting all members of our family members on the same floor.

We were very pleasantly pleased with this hotel. It was one of the cheaper ones we could find for a weekend in Lexington, but wow, it was way more than expected. Very clean, the front desk ladies were very pleasant and friendly. Room was a nice size, updated, beds were very comfortable. Close drive to several breweries and shopping. 10 min Uber to Rupp arena. We tried this newer Glo Best Western on our way back home from a recent trip, and we are very glad we stayed here. The reviews on it were great, and that's why we chose it. I'm adding an excellent review myself. Don't hesitate to stay here. This is an obvious, big upgrade for sure to the Best Western brand, and they are building more apparently. The hotel is fresh and clean, and the rooms are very spacious. The bathroom has a definate taste of luxury to it between the shower, the size, and the cleanliness. There's no carpet in the rooms, just a luxury vinyl flooring of some kind, which was a refreshing change to a typical hotel. We loved our stay here, and will stay again, since we pass through the area at least once a year. Go GLO!

Hotel was inviting and colorful from the moment you walk in. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Not your typical boring hotel. Nicely located for our bourbon excursions (Buffalo Trace is conveniently close). I would absolutely stay here again for our next Kentucky adventure. P.S. move the microwave.

We just needed a place to stop on our way between Michigan and Florida. The location is great, right off 75. We could walk to a Cracker Barrel and refill at Shell station. Staff at hotel lovely and room very clean.

New experience! Loved the NO icky carpet flooring! Bathroom a surprise, countertop dark blue did make finding a dropped contact a challenge in the not so great vanity lighting. Lots of drawer storage but not one hanger! Biggest challenge was figuring out the push button shades. Breakfast was perfect. Dog friendly. Will stay again.

The most beautiful friendly hotel, I've stayed in. Check in went smooth, and the staff was especially nice. The $250 deposit is bit much, but being able to paying cash is very convenient. Overall I would give this hotel a five star ⭐ rating.

I found GLO on my employer's website for employee benefits. My furnace went out in January 2020 and I had to leave my house. I stayed 2 days @ GLO it was wonderful. Me and my spouse plan on doing more staycations at this place right here.

This was an amazing experience after enduring 6 days in a Best Western Plus that was very substandard. This hotel was beautiful from the outside and even nicer inside. Reception was easy and friendly. We got an excellent recommendation for dinner and then found the room to be very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very modern with a walk-in shower. I felt like I was sleeping in my own bed at home it was so comfortable. The breakfast area was nicely laid out and clean. If all the GLo hotels are this nice, Best Western has found their way into the premium market.

This hotel was great. The place was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. It's centrally located to everything. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again!! Our room was not quite ready (we arrived early) and we were worried we would miss watching our football team play and the lady who runs the breakfast gave us the remote to the tv and told us to make ourselves at home in the breakfast space. The bed was hard as a rock. The waterfall shower was awesome. The breakfast was a grab bag with water bottle, a banana, and a granola bar. Not what I would have expected for what I paid. It was clean.

We stayed for one night but it was perfect. It's close to the thruway and some food places and gas. We had our two service dogs and the room was great. Lots of parking and space to walk the dogs. Everything was clean. Also breakfast was a nice perk!

The pillows were all super hard, shower door didn't stay closed while trying to shower, temp was either too cold or too hot with only switching it 1 temp up or down, the breakfast was disgusting and not worth it. It would have been nice for a heads up that there wouldn't be breakfast on Christmas we would have prepared better and no place was open to get a real breakfast. Customer service was nice, that's about it. No vending machines so every time you wanted a drink or snack it cost 2 or more dollars.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The decor is modern and well kept. The Christmas decor were beautiful. The staff was professional and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the walk in shower was great. The breakfast is the standard hotel fair but enough to fill us up before we got back on the road. Asked for a king and received a queen, was a busted floor tile in the bathroom that I could have literally picked up off the ground, heater was super loud and annoying, also there is a 250$ deposit if you live within 50 miles of the hotel.. there are much better hotels in Lexington for the same price point

Room was great! Clean and updated. Pool is smaller but also well kept. Breakfast was included and selection was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location close to restaurants and to the college. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The hotel is very nice. We just ran in to 2 minor issues. There was no hairdryer in the room. Second, there was a family with small kids in the room above us and they were running back and forth until 11pm. We had to call and complain. Then it finally stopped. Breakfast was included and it's very nice.

My wife and I checked in late on a Saturday night and were greeted by a young man at the customer service desk. He was very professional and set up accommodations for us. The entire hotel was very clean starting from the parking lot, entrance lobby, and room was amazingly clean. The room had very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Shower was fully equipped. This is a great new hotel in Lexington. Perfect location to the horse park and highway 75. Beds and pillows were amazingly comfy. Desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. And all walking distance to Cracker Barrel and McDonalds! I will definitely stay at Glo again!

Front desk staff were excellent. Professional and friendly. My only complaint was housekeeping. Out of a three night stay, I asked for my room to be cleaned one night. I hung the tag on the door, and when I came back it was still there. Went downstairs to get more towels, and other necessities. Willing to give it another try. Everything else was awesome.

The GLO is always Clean and Welcoming. The staff is so friendly. It is right off the interstate in a quiet cold-e-sac, and a gas station, McDonald's, and cracker barrel Love hardwood floors, modern motif, awesome walk in showers, and breakfast!

Rooms were loud, the beds weren't very comfortable, and the water pressure was lacking. The breakfast was good, but overall this hotel was not worth the price tag. The pet fee was $15 per dog per night.

Safe area with restaurants in walking distance. Double queen was spacious and efficient. Loved the shower. Bed very comfortable.. Good breakfast and staff.. We stayed at the Glo, attending a wedding over the Halloween weekend. Was really impressed with the amenities (heated indoor pool, breakfast buffet, and a fitness room). The front desk was courteous and respectful, and actually managed to get us checked into our room early. Check out was a breeze too. Would definitely recommend the Glo for any trips into Lexington. There's also a Cracker Barrel in the same parking lot.

My wife and I stayed overnight for two nights at this location while we spent time in Lexington. On our way back to our room on the 2nd afternoon we decided to ask questions about dining and other places in the area. The person at the front desk gave us several suggestions, as well as very clear directions to the recommended sites. But the reason I would always go back to this site to stay over is the honesty of the staff. The wife left our iPad in the safe in the room we stayed in. The person that was at the front desk went to the room and verified that it was in fact there and that she (Jackie) would make sure to put it into the locked managers office for us so that we could retrieve it. That's honesty and integrity. We'll tell everyone that we know about this.

I like Best Western, but this GLO thing is a waste. Just a little too modern and hippy for me. The room was clean and the AC worked well. But the AC vent is under the desk, and thus blows up your leg. Poor concept. The sitting chair is a waste, very uncomfortable. Then they had a sitting place on top of the desk. What were they thinking? Breakfast was decent however. Certainly not my cut of tea, and I won't make the mistake a second time.

Everything at this property was just right. It's off the highway so it's quiet and it's easily accessible. It's also just across the parking lot from a Cracker Barrel. Waffle House one exit away if it's late night. And only about 10 mins from downtown Lexington. It's not fancy or over the top; it's just right.

Really nice little hotel very clean and we were very comfortable. Would stay here again and would look to see if a Glo hotel was available anywhere we might go. Some of the decor in the room was questionable, like it belonged in a nursery school ,but seriously that's a very minor complaint. Second time we've spent a night here when passing through Lexington, and we liked it just as much as the first. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very modern with comfortable firm beds and large, walk-in showers. Hardwood (probably vinyl) floors also give the rooms a cleaner look than w/w carpet. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Would definitely stay here again. This particular Best Western also allows pets (all kinds as long as announced and well-behaved). We occasionally need to travel with our two cats, and it can be difficult to find a place that will accept them.

Lexington Kentucky stop on the way to Nashville. The room was nicely decorated and very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to get to. Hot breakfast was a good start to more driving. Highly recommend.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the GLo in Lexington. Parking lot was well-lit upon arrival, desk staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and nicely decorated. Swimming pool is not huge, but since nobody else was swimming when we went it was big enough for just us. Breakfast area was nice, 2 waffle makers and yogurt machine were both a nice touch! Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Great location for horse farm tours. Busy traffic area though. Enjoyed renovated facility. Staff recommended Sedona Restaurant for good food and drinks and he was right. Very close driving distance right up the road.

We stopped here overnight on our way out west, and I'm so glad I booked here! The hotel is, honestly, one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in, and I travel pretty extensively. The hotel looks new and well maintained, the lobby is really nice. Check in was a breeze. The room was spacious, quiet and VERY clean. I really appreciate large hotel chains moving towards installing solid surface flooring instead of nasty carpet. In the age of Covid, it feels much more "sanitary" to have clean solid surface flooring in a hotel room. With that said, I'd imagine it might be noisy for people in lower floor rooms. We had a top floor room so noise wasn't an issue for us. But if you stay in a Glo, I"d recommend asking for a top floor room to minimize noise. Easy access from the Interstate and also a Cracker Barrel right down the road. So Convenient! And the food was decent.... All in all, I'd most definitely stay here again when traveling through the area!

We loved the hot breakfast, the lightly screamed eggs and ham were very tasty. The night check in clerk was very nice. She made sure we knew about our free water and platinum parking spot. We needed to cut a ring off my room mates finger and she had the tools to get the job done. Check In and check out was simple . The location near the Kentucky horse park was perfect. We felt safe and the accommodations were clean.

My daughters and I were traveling thru Lexington and we needed a hotel for the night. And we were traveling with two small dogs. We found Glo by Best Western accepted pets and the place was really clean, loved the vinyl plank floor in the rooms which is very smart on their part. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really nice. I would definitely stay at their hotel again.

This hotel has been revamped and is a nice place and a great price. We don't like overspending but also are careful not to choose dirty or dangerous locations. This was perfect for us. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will stay here next time we are in town or traveling south.

The staff was excellent, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was comfortable. The walls/floors/ceilings are rather thin so sleeping through the noise was a problem. The property is pet friendly with several pet owners allowing their pets to be too friendly. Dogs barking & running through the hallways at midnight is not particularly pleasant. Note: the owners should not allow this.

I know it may seem odd as we live 30 minutes away from this hotel, but it's our go to for the kids to just be able to swim while we relax and can take our fur children as well. To be a pet friendly hotel they are super clean and the breakfast is superb! Comfortable beds make it easy for old dad to sleep after a day at the pool as well. We've visited several local hotels to just get away, but this is by far our favorite! And if you ever have any problems, the front desk is QUICK to fix it! We've only had a very minor one that really didn't matter.

Cold AC, complementary coffee and breakfast bar, strong wifi, welcoming staff, and dog friendly. We can spend more, but can't think of a reason why. Close to horse park and Keeneland. It's also convenient to our office and right off of I-75. Recommend!

We are on a multi state vacation and we have looked for a Glo at every stop since. Lexington set the bar high and although we haven't been able to stay at a Glo at every stop, we have stayed at a Best Western at each stop and will always look for a Best Western first when traveling. The room was very clean from the window treatments to bathroom. The beds were fresh and comfortable. The entire hotel smelled clean and sanitized. Everyone was friendly. We received welcome texts and we also received a goody bag at check in.

This is the first time I have stayed in this property and brand. Evidently it is geared toward traveling families with children who don't want to stay in a dump. This property definitely feels that need. I was particularly impressed with the gentlemen at the front desk. He was polite and easy to talk to and efficiently moved people through the queue. My first impression was that the lobby was clean and comfortably appointed while still being stylish and trendy. They use bright colors in their decorating and it's not obnoxious. The rooms are quite lovely. In this property, they were immaculately clean. The have great so do coverings that really block the light better than curtains. The bathroom shower has a built in sprayer and water pressure is great. The room layout is nice and makes it easy to move around! But here is my one complaint. At first, I loved the absence of carpet UNTIL 11:30 pm when my neighbors arrived with beer and a desire to visit (loudly) with each other til 1AM. The floors make sound magnify and the room set up puts the chairs next to the adjoining door so it's like the people next door are sitting next to the bed! Breakfast was not quite what I had hoped but I'm a food snob and the offerings are great for families. Fresh and well stocked with many choices, most tastes would be happy! Overall I really liked this property and will stay again!

Traveling for my last grandparent's funeral. The hotel was quiet, clean, courteous and professional. I say this as there was some sports team with an additional boys team there. The pool is perfect size for family and teaching little kids to swim as so many were doing. The furnishings and color scheme look as a newer hotel. I asked for peace and quiet and that is what we received. The fitness center looked great but I did not partake. Breakfast even satisfied my vegan wife who usually cannot eat anything. This hotel is accomodatins for all. It is centrally located by many areas for shopping and events. Glo Best Western in Lexington is definitely a hotel I can count on to deliver a peaceful stay for my family.

This hotel was recommended to us and we are glad it worked out with our travel plans to stop on our way out west and on our way back home. We love it! The decor is interesting, the breakfast is varied and tasty, and the room was perfect. There are plenty of seating options in the breakfast area. I highly recommend the coffee and that's important! The front desk guy was super nice and friendly. Hotel is new/updated, very clean lobby and room. I had a dog with me and they did a great job of placing me in a room that was great for a dog owner on the first floor right next to an exit so I didn't disturb any guests. Would definitely stay again if I'm passing through. They also had a grass area for pets.

We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the indoor pool. The room was clean, updated nicely, and had a great layout for what we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and had a good variety.

We visited for BreyerFest 2022. The accommodations were perfect for us. Very clean and plenty of room. Good selections for breakfast. Front desk person Sharnell is THE BEST!!! We will definitely stay here again!

This hotel feels brand new, clean and shiny. The staff was fantastic and contacted us periodically to see if we needed anything. We loved the boxes of snacks on the second day, and breakfast each day was fresh and healthy and delicious. Each day we found new clean towels in our bathroom. The location was perfect for our event at the Kentucky Horse Park, plenty of parking and convenient to restaurants and gas stations. Luxury accommodations at an affordable rate.

Let me say if it wasn't for the staff and cleanliness my review would have been very different. Beds were a 3/10 pillows were a 3/10 room cleanliness was a 9/10 hotel cleanliness was a 9/10. Listen I wanted to love this hotel location was great easy access to everything, but here is my honest negatives about this hotel *room walls were paper thing could hear everything going on to even strangers whispering as they passed your room *It must be called Glo because the room glows at night and you cannot get it dark to sleep even the light switch glows *Very little room to set things down...little storage *Mattress, pillows and bedding was extremely disappointing poor quality *Very Budget friendly

The hotel is very nice, with a very modern design. They have very good service. But if you are looking for a hotel to sleep or rest peacefully you will be surprised how noisy the floors are. You will be able to hear the footsteps of the users who are on the upper floor of your bedroom.

Loved this hotel. Very modern. Clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had a walk in shower and had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all provided on wall. Very good experience overall. Would stay here again. The goody bag for being VIP was very welcomed. One of the best I have received.

Very nice hotel. Clean room and nice pool area. Breakfast included is just ok. Somehow we got a handicap room so there was lots of room in bathroom also. I would stay here again. Staff was very nice thru stay.

We stayed here one night on our way through KY and enjoyed it. Affordable and very clean (you could smell the clean which was refreshing). Good full continental breakfast included. Only complaint is the water pressure in the sink in the bathroom was a trickle. Other things to note in case anyone wants to know: * Right off the highway but not so close that it's noisy from traffic * Next to a few other hotels, Cracker Barrel and McDs * No hot tub - standard hotel pool * Laminent floors in the room which I like, but we did hear the people above us walking around. Not enough to be an issue, but wondering if it's partially because of no carpet * Check in process was quick and easy - received a text before we arrived letting us know our room was ready * Breakfast when we were there was very well stocked and clean. Included waffles, ham, eggs, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, bagels, toast, cereal and juices (I may have missed a couple things) * Saw a note about residence within certain distance of the hotel would require an additional $100 deposit

Newer sleek hotel. No ratty carpet in the room or lobby, impeccably clean, comfortable beds, good shower, though not like your own, decent toiletries, easy to operate cable tv and polite staff. Pet friendly, just off highway. Breakfast had a good selection, was fresh, temperature controlled, and the staff was extremely attentive to replenishing and cleaning! Nice job GLO by Best Western !

The staff was quick to provide a more comfortable room that suited my ailing mother, I reserved a room I thought would work however my mother couldn't get comfortable in the room chair. My mother can't sleep in a bed and when I explained that to the staff they were very accommodating and changed our room !

Stay was ok at the most.. Notable is the sliding door for the bathroom. My grandmother bruised her hand. The door frame and handle is the door stop!! She unknowingly held on to the door handle smashing her hand between the door frame and handle. This issue needs to be resolved, handled as a bad design, and replaced throughout the facility. Good breakfast and welcoming lobby. Clean presentation throughout the entire facility.

I had such an amazing time. Enjoying the pool and getting to get away for the weekend. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms of course were outstanding. We always stay at the Glo when we come to Lexington or Nashville

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. There is a gym and laundry facilities on site. It is conveniently located off of the interstate for easy access.

This was a very safe and clean neighborhood and hotel with easy check-in and spacious rooms. There was ample parking, and our dogs could stay with us for a small fee. We would definitely stay here again.

It was excellent except that we would have liked softer sheets and a less bumpy mattress. Also it would have been nice if breakfast could have lasted until 10:30. Other than those few things it was great and very clean. The decor was nice as well.

We had a pleasant evening at the GLO. The customer service was outstanding. The check in and check out was smooth and the texting system they have in place was very helpful and efficient. If we are in the area again in the future we would stay again.

Found a Crack pipe in our room. My Children were with me! Was told a significant discount would be placed and wasn't. Only $30. Charged for roll away bed that I was told would not have a charge ($30). Figure that. NOT happy. House keeping definitely NOT paying attention.

I arrived to hotel after a long day's drive to be pleasantly surprised of the quality as I'd not been here before. I didn't catch the young gal's name but she checked on me after I arrived at my room to ensure I was happy. Clean, comfy and reasonably and a great layout of the room and parking. Will definitely recommend.

Changed hotels at the last minute and I'm glad I did. This was one of the nicest, cleanest and most spacious(room wise) hotels I've ever been in. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. My partner got to the hotel Late on the first night and they waited to lock the doors until he got there. Very nice and thoughtful. This will be the only hotel I stay at from now on when I'm in the area.

Clean, staff was very friendly and nice, breakfast was yummy. Clean rooms and nice atmosphere. Oh also they have a printer if you need to print something which is convenient. And I loved the artwork. I definitely plan on staying here for my future visits to Lexington!

We appreciate your attention to detail, hygiene and conscientious staff! Everyone was ultra kind, especially the front desk team today and last night. The front desk staff made our stay delightful. We liked the spacious and clean rooms and public areas, and the whole family enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast was up to par, and had plenty of options. Plentiful coffee did the trick.

Excellent property for price and location. We were warmly greeted by Charnelle who even offered us leftover complimentary cupcakes from a tour group staying at the hotel. Will helped accommodate us with two rooms instead of one when there was a last minute cancellation. The workout room was a good size with variety of equipment. Great shower, comfy bed and delicious breakfast. Superior and friendly customer service! Thanks for making my first visit to Kentucky so comfortable with an excellent overnight stay at the GLO Best Western.

The hotel was clean and modern. Great bed, shower and tv. Those are the things most important to me. The colors were loud, but it was a nice change. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was plenty of lighting and electrical outlets. Breakfast was good.

Everything about our stay was great. Staff was on point and greeted us throughout our stay by name. The owner was on location and friendly. He came to our room to assist with an issue himself. How is that for service!!!! Breakfast was nice and included. Definitely a hidden affordable gem.

I really appreciated the bed and the pool. The room was nice. Friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. I left my bathing suit in the shower, but they'll hold it for me until I drive back through. It was close to everything.

This was our first time at this hotel or any GLo by Best Western. We were impressed by the very warm welcome and follow up to ensure we were comfortable. Our room was quite large and we really liked the decor. Breakfast was good too. It was a very good value for the price. We hope to come back again.

Me and my wife stayed for 2 days at this hotel. We really like the hot breakfast in the morning time, coffee was great, it was so much varieties every single day. The room was warm cozy and slept good I really find no problem with this hotel whatsoever. Very clean, smelled great, very good hotel. I would highly recommend it. Loved the walk-in showers, that was like the best.

We've stayed here several times but was surprised thermostat didn't work in this room. I got the unit by the window fan to come on so that helped remove how stagnant air was. Came in to a crooked lamp shade, torn shade, and a long gray hair on floor. Outside the window was an hvac unit that was very loud. No view at all. Bedding is snagged. We always enjoyed stays here before. Disappointed.

Girl at front desk was dismissive of our concerns would not give us a recept for our stay and gave us a rude attitude. Tough way to end a pleasant stay. Will never return. Too many places there to stay to tolerate this

The GLo is clean and safe. The people who work there are kind and will help you with any problem you may experience. The parking is convenient and near the GLo so I do not feel anxious walking to my car or nearby eateries.

Everything was very nice, retro decor. Breakfast was good and pool was warm. Heating unit was a little loud for sleeping I thought. Convenient location, comfortable beds and decent shower. A great value for price paid.

I would recommend these accomadations to anyone looking for a nice comfy bed to relax and sleep in. Also a great breakfast offering of a morning with scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, pastries, hot waffle, cereal etc. Very friendly and helpful staff Thank you BW GLO!!

Location was clean, beds were nice. The stay was fairly pleasant. Only drawback is front desk staff was a bit hurtful and rude upon check out, we had her roll her eyes at us for requesting a late checkout of merely 1.5 additional hrs, despite informing them ahead of time that one of us wasn't feeling well. She then proceeded to charge and additional fee. So sad, no compassion or empathy whatsoever. Additionally, we stayed for multiple nights and requested new towels by leaving the "clean" sign hung on the door. But day after day, we never got fresh towels. By day 3, had to call and request personally.

On arrival we had a bad check-in with the receptionist Will Toy. Very Rude, he informed that the hotel was sold out and informed that we could not park our car with a small uhaul trailer in the parking lot. When we arrived in the room, it was dirty, with trash (toilet paper, rest of food) behind the bed, dog food around the room and dog hair in the sheets. We contacted Mr Toy that came to the room, and informed that unfortunately at that time there were no housekeeping to fix it, and they were sold out and wouldn't move us to another room. Informed that unfortunately the hotel proprietary only hired 3 housekeeping for the entire hotel and they are unable to offer a deep clean in the rooms before arrival of new costumers. And the only option that he offered was to lend a broom that we can clean our own room. We stayed for 2 days and in the next day the housekeeping also didn't come to clean the room. We questioned about to the receptionist Mr Toy he informed that the housekeeping only clean the rooms each 3 days. Just remembering that we are talking about a USD150/night hotel.

I had an awful experience in this hotel. On arrival, the receptionist Will toy was very rude. The room was dirty, with trash and rest of foods behind the bed, dog food and dog hair through all the room (we took pictures, that will be attached in the law suit). We contacted Mr. Toy he went to the room and just apologize but informed that the hotel has only 3 housekeeping and because of this the hotel can not to do a deep clean. He told that at that time the hotel was sold out and they didn't have available rooms to move us and the only thing that he could do is to offer to us a Broom and new sheets to we clean the room. So, we just needed to clean our own room on arrival.

Traveled about 3.5 hrs for a play and overnight stay including dinner. Easy access to the hotel. Room on the 4th floor . Elevator is right next to check in so no dragging luggage all over. Room was clean and fresh. We were only in for the night so not much time spent. Bed was very comfortable, would only suggest they provide a some options with pillows. 4 on the bed, all pretty hard.

Things I liked: The modern, bright look of the hotel. The price. The complimentary hot breakfast. Things I would improve: • Explicitly state in information that rooms are not cleaned daily and housekeeping must be requested. • Bright light shining from light switch all night was annoying. Glad I brought my sleep mask. • All lights were a harsh light except for the bathroom mirror light. I wish the bedside table lamps were soft lights.

Hotel staff was friendly and attentive during our stay. Room was spacious enough and a good value for the price. Beds were comfortable. Pool was good and clean. There were a few restaurants very close. Lobby was comfortable to hang out in with our group during the evening. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is chic and modern with nice amenities. It's pet-friendly with a low pet surcharge. It has a nice exercise room and small indoor pool. Breakfast include a wide selection of hot and cold selections. We would stay here again.

Room looked awesome when opening door, but then found heavy dust on TV and repair marks in drywall that weren't fully painted over. Got into shower and had no body wash or enough towels and washcloths. The room wasn't functional. Ran into TV hanging on Wall. Ran legs into bed frames. Sliding bathroom door, that didn't lock and was located directly in front of only place to sit in room. And when entering establishment, a heavy air freshener smell, was overwhelming, needless to say unpleasant. Would not recommend this hotel, especially if you have children in the room.

I often stay at the Glo and always find it pleasant and clean. My most recent stay was made even better by the friendly and efficient check in. She went the extra mile. My only concern was with the loudness of the heating system/ fan.

Beautiful looking hotel, very spacious room. Breakfast was good. However, at the time of our stay, the water pressure was quite low, making showering a little more work. Nice pool, not large, but it does the job.

Great place to stay. About 15 minute drive to UK. It's a newer area with a Cracker Barrel restaurant near by. Hotel is new and clean and up to date. Very nice staff. Good breakfast selection. We will happily stay here again.

We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the room and enjoyed the fact that the floors did not have carpet. The room seems like it was recently renovated! The breakfast was also very good with an incredible selection! We would definitely stay here again!

Located just off interstate near Lexington, KY, this is a new and modern hotel. Front desk staff (Shondell) was very friendly and helpful. We brought our dog and the dog friendly room was large, clean and very dog appropriate. No carpet ensured no leftover pet odors or mess from the last occupant. Our dog is a bichon, so she never sheds or makes a mess but we worry about prior occupants. We had our two bikes and we're allowed to keep them locked in the maintenance room. Bedding is brand new and very comfortable. Lots of space to sit in room. Breakfast is just ok, but a Cracker Barrell is right next door if you want a huge breakfast. Lots of area to walk your dog.

From the time we walked in til the time we walked out everything was great!! Only thing we disliked was the water in the pool was really really cold…needs to be warmer. Other than that everything was great.

We had the last king bed room which was the ADA room and it is LARGE. The wife liked the pillows, artwork and I was happy the coffee maker worked (after the last two did not, I test upon arrival). It must be a new room as the TV was about 55"... a nice step up from the 40" or smaller as usual. It had all the amenities we usually expect... and there were a plethora of luggage carriers to transport our bags and ORCHIDS. While there were the usual nearby guest noises, I heard no long haul truck noises. (plenty of mirrors)... for this room

We stayed at GLO just for a night during traveling to Texas. I called around midnight while on the way and the same young man took care reservation was attended us as soon we've arrived. I'd say very professional welcomed personal I've ever met.Then room service was top notch very comfortable beds,spotless cleaned bathroom.i couldn't find anything wrong. Very very impressive service.

GLO is a very cool and upscale experience and an excellent value. If you are ever in Lexington,treat yourself to this excellent hotel. If you generally stay in more budget friendly hotels,please do yourself a favor and spend an extra few dollars for the experience.It is well worth it.

I am very disappointed in my stay here. The only reason it's a 2 star is because they are very pet friendly. When we got here the lobby was clean, modern, and beautiful. We got to our room and it was a totally different story. Super dusty. There was a brown/red sticky smear on a pillow. We asked for a different room and the second room was definitely cleaner than the first but still very dusty. The cracks, crevices, and corners are all messy and dirty. There is paint chipping every where. They are definitely not detail oriented in their cleaning and upkeep. The bathroom doors in the rooms are sliding barn door style and they don't close all the way or even lock. The toilet is right next to the door so there is NO privacy when you're using the bathroom. The people in the room can see you. The TV is visible from only one bed. The area near the elevators is dirty and the floors are sticky. The lighting is very dim except when the lights are off and the light switches light up the room, it made it very difficult to sleep. The beds are very uncomfortable and the blankets are thin, rough, and old looking. Our keys kept not working randomly so we would have to go downstairs to get different ones. I asked if I could cancel my second night here so I could go to a different hotel. I felt that I could go somewhere much cleaner for the same price. They wouldn't let me cancel so we had to suck it up and stay the second night. I won't be staying here again. I'm very surprised the reviews are so good.

Beautiful facility. Relatively new hotel, in a great spot close the horse park. Reasonably priced, with some adjoining rooms. We are a family of 5 and this worked well for us. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. Nice stay. I would recommend.

This hotel is super close to the Kentucky Horse Park. Staff was extremely nice. Hotel was very clean and modern. Beds were fine. Area seemed safe and quiet. Breakfast was good. We will definitely return.

Sleep quality rated average as the pillows were too full. If I hadn't been so tired I would have requested a softer pillow. I personally did not care for the ultra modern decor, but it is very clean and the service was excellent.

i have stayed at this location several times. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating. Clean and comfortable. Amenities are nice, breakfast and internet are very good. Has a work out and swimming pool which are nice to have after a long drive.

This hotel is only three years old and very nice. Man working front desk was very nice and gave us couples rooms next to each other. Very nice shower and comfortable rooms. Good location. Would definitely stay here next time in Lexington. I would highly recommend. Great value.

This appears to be a new hotel. The décor is very modern, our room was large and clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. There's not a lot in the area except other hotels, so the Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the parking lot was convenient. There was also a nice hot breakfast included with the room.

From check in to check out our experience was outstanding. Will at front desk was so nice. Breakfast was yummy and hot. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Can not wait to go back next spring for a family trip to Keeneland.

This appears to be a NEW hotel with a minimalist style. Front desk agent was very helpful and professional. When you first get into the room you say to yourself, wow so clean and uncluttered. Room is very big, almost an empty feeling. Very good beds, nice shower; two things I find important. Then you notice there is no comfortable chair to sit in, the lighting consists of a bright entry ceiling light, one desk lamp and two bedside lamps that are so low to the one table in between the two beds that it impedes putting things on the table. My husband likes to read at night, sitting on a comfortable chair with a good reading lamp. There was none. There is a small padded bench attached to the wall that is bright blue and yellow vinyl. 90 degree seat, totally uncomfortable. Maybe it is for putting your suitcase on??? What I think happened here is an older building was totally remodeled but cheaply with an appeal to millennials. The sink in the bathroom is good quality but sits on a pedestal suited for my small grandkids. Back ache from leaning over to use it. There is nowhere is set a glass except on the desk. Ended up using the desk chair as a reading chair. The HVAC is the kind you find in older hotels, noisy, blowing in one direction from under the window. They tried to hide it by putting the cheap desk on top of it. Aside from the beds, which were comfortable, the room is spartan at best. They advertise on the room pamphlet as 5 star. No way. Also, other than a McDonalds and Cracker Barrel, there is NO restaurants nearby.

If you are going to be staying in they area off the 115 on I75, this is the best hotel. My employees have stayed at all of the hotels in the area and we now only use this one. Do yourself a favor and book here. It is clean, affordable, and you will not regret it

Evening desk clerk Sharnell was very efficient and nice. I had to come to the lobby later in the evening and she greeted me by name. Wow, I don't know that has ever happened before. Our room was clean and comfortable. Their breakfast offering was plenty sufficient. We will definitely stay there again should the occasion arise.

I was excited about the hotel because I liked the decor and colors and it just looked to have a nice vibe to it which was much needed after spending the day at doctor appointments with my husband. Unfortunately, staff was not friendly. The pillows were hard and the pillowcases scratchy on my face. Housekeeping was knocking on our door at 10 when checkout is at 11 and if you need a later checkout be prepared to pay $10 extra an hour!

This hotel was nice but for the price I expected more. It had a very small pool and the room smelled strange. You could hear the people upstairs stomping around. The shower door kept coming open while showering. It was out of the busy town center and close to a few restaurants.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and newer looking. The pool was clean. The breakfast was rather larger with lots of options. Overall, our stay was exactly what we hoped for.

I stayed at the GLO Best Western and was so pleased. The room was clean and quiet; very spacious and well laid out. The breakfast offered was varied and excellent. I had stayed at a different chain on the trip out - GLO Best Western far exceeded my expectations and I will never go back!

Friendly quick checking. Room was fine but bathrooms in both rooms we paid for were in rough shape. Mold in caulking of shower, chunk of sheetrock in one was missing. Empty body wash container, empty kleenex etc. I know finding workers is hard, so maybe short on housekeeping.

The reviews were great and I had high hopes. We were put in the room right off the elevator and stayed two nights. We happened to be put on the forth floor and didn't have many people coming and going but when they were you could hear them in the room. The bed is a single mattress no box springs and the one queen is extremely close to the wall. This is a modern style hotel and some people will love that but it was not my cup of tea. Our keys got reset after the first day and no one was at the desk to reset them had to wait 15 mins. The cleaning crew didn't clean the room because I didn't realize I had to put a tag on the door to tell them to clean it. That was my mistake and many hotels do this but I do not like it. Its a great way to tell people this person is staying another day I bet they have stuff in their rooms. The breakfast was standard fare nothing to get excited about. The best part is the waffles.

We stayed here twice within a week on a long road trip. I love the idea of wood floors as compared to carpet, which made the room feel clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious with plenty of charging ports if traveling with a family. Breakfast was good and offered waffles, fruit, eggs and sausages. We were met by Sharnell on both visits and she is absolutely a gem at this establishment! She obviously loves her job extremely friendly and welcoming. On our second stay we encountered a problem with the dryer. All we had was our personal blanket but she took it downstairs, dried and even delivered it back to our room! The blonde college student (sorry don't remember name) was also very accommodating and friendly. Pets welcome and have their own grass area. If traveling with a trailer parking may be difficult. Beds were comfy with nice linens. This is our first stay at a GLO by Best Western and we would stay again.

Have stayed in 6 hotels in 10 days and this was the very best. Beautiful rooms, very good breakfast included. The hotel must be fairly new because all the decor and hard floors looked new. Very clean too.

We stayed one night while visiting our son. The hotel is very contemporary and colorful with friendly personnel. The huge glass shower stall is lovely (and the product dispensers are great once you figure out that you have to flip the caps open on the bottom). The mattress was very firm -- too hard, in our opinion, but probably just right for others. Very good breakfast with lots of options. We happened to be in town on a busy weekend, and as a result the room price was higher than I would be willing to pay again to stay at this hotel. It was nice but not $200 nice!

My family and I were on a 9 day road trip from NE to VA and back. Along the way we stopped at BW Glo and WOW has BW really upped their game. The hotel and rooms were very modern and clean. BW went out of their way to install top on of the line finishes. From second we checked in to our checkout, the staff was friendly and helpfully. If you're in the Lexington area check out Glo

BW you've really outdone yourselves with this one! It's been along time since I have said wow when walking into a hotel - many times! Really great design and concept on the rooms with all of the great amenities you expect. The room is very comfortable and clean! I already have my reservations for my next trip to that area.

Great experience. The hotel is modern and updated. I especially liked the wood floors in the rooms instead of carpet. Everything was very clean. There was a variety of options offered for breakfast. I would definitely return to the Glo Best Western if I travel through this area again.

By removing carpets in rooms and hallways (good thing), it left gaps under the doorframe for light and noise from hallway flood room under the door (bad thing) Two many blinking or glowing lights in room (night light switch you can't turn off or cover.)

Really enjoyed our stay. Did not expect such an enjoyable stay after staying in Gatlinburg at a very substandard room that was rated very highly. We looked up online to see what other cities had the same came of hotel and found several.

Don't stay here if you're not traveling with a pet. I wasn't aware or told if the entire facility was “pet friendly”. Our room had a very peculiar odor. We sprayed perfume everywhere, it didn't help. We wouldn't have stayed here had I known all rooms were pet friendly used. We couldn't enter or get service without wearing masks as posted on the entrance doors. However, none of the staff we encountered wore masks!

We only stayed for one night as part of a road trip, but wished we could've stayed longer. Everything was new/modern, the beds were comfy, and options for the free breakfast were plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

We stay at this hotel on our way to and from Florida to Michigan. It is easily accessible from I-75 and allows pets for a small fee. The decor is euro modern, it is patterned after the Glo Hotel in Finland. We like that the rooms are spacious and are not carpeted. Much cleaner for a place that allows pets. There is a Cracker Barrel right down the street. Also a gas station and McDonalds before the highway.

During our trip to see our son, we stayed at the Best Western in Lexington Ky, and the Best Western in Pigeon Forge TN. My wife or I couldn't have expected anything more. Both locations were fantastic. The rooms were spacious, and clean. Loved the showers. We're planning a trip to the West Coast hopefully later this year, and we will definitely be staying at a Best Western.

Glo by Best Western is a great, new hotel. Rooms are spacious & clean with nice appointments. Large shower with rainhead. Full, hot breakfast. Easy access off I-64. Cracker Barrel & McDonalds are with walking distance. Handicapped accessible.

The decor of this location is modern/cubism ugly. Colors were harsh and I didn't care for the furnishings. If you stay during derby week be prepared to overpay. Accommodations were ok, rooms were clean and large, The location is Pet Friendly which is a a plus. For some reason the in-room microwave was in French making it difficult to figure out how to use. Service was inconsistently good and bad.

The lobby was very nice and the hotel was in good shape. The cleanliness of the room wasn't very good. It seems that the cleaning crew didn't do a thorough job. I moved a chair and there was a used mask and crumbs on the floor. Other than that, the stay was good.

Our neighbors partied all night - definitely a place where a lot of young party goers go. The front desk complained about our dog barking who was barking because the guests next door were banging on wall. This is a budget hotel and way overpriced.

Hotel was very clean, mattress was comfy, ice machine on floor, excellent breakfast buffet, coffee in lobby 24 hours. Coffee was tasty, too. Also Keurig machine in room. Highly recommend. I was very satisfied with quality and price.

We spent 4 nights at the GLo & could not have asked for better. Friendly staff, modern decor & the best shower we've ever experienced in a hotel. Breakfast was very good, nice variety & everything was fresh. Protein items were hot, my husband loved the Canadian bacon. Lobby & breakfast area are spacious, bright & cheery & the grounds are very well maintained.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel except the noise at 1:30am and 5:30am. We were on the 3rd floor and at 1:21 someone was checked in to the room above us. They were not rambunctious but we could hear them opening and closing their door, bringing in suitcases, and walking back and forth to the bathroom. It sounded like workmen with heavy boots. It was a bit frustrating but by 2 they were settled. Unfortunately, it started back up about 4 hours later: so needless to say we did not get good sleep at all. I asked for a quiet room when we checked in, so did not expect to have such issues. I told the lady at the desk and she apologized and said they had some known noise issues and were working on correcting them. I would recommend asking for the top floor upon check in if you want a better nights sleep. The pool, fitness room and hot breakfast are all open which is great! All staff are kind and accommodating and hotel is very modern, trendy and clean.

This GLo Best Western is always a nice experience ! Friendly front desk staff ! Plenty of parking, well lit & clean ! The breakfast area is clean and well kept, breakfast foods are kept filled. Very easy access from I-75.

We had not heard of GLo by Best Western before this stay. From their safety measures in place to the fun and super unique decor, we had a very relaxing, recharging time. The front desk employees were so nice and welcoming. The breakfast and the breakfast employee were both awesome. The rooms were super clean and so unique with plenty of space. The only thing that we would have changed was the seating in the rooms and heatng the pool. Although the "couch" might have fit the decor, it was kind of useless as a comfortable seating area. The pool was a nice size, with tables and seating, but it was very chilly. All in all we would definitely stay there again. Thank you GLo!

The hotel was very convenient to the interstate. The staff was great as was the breakfast the room. They also have a laundry facility, which my wife had to use... The hotel is 3 minutes from downtown Lexington and convenient to sites. And...there is a beautiful horse farm right behind.....

Clean! Which is my top priority when traveling. Average hotel, nothing najor wrong, nothing special. Of note, conditioner and body wash empty which I found out only after I was in shower. Extra $25 hold placed on credit card for incidentals which takes 3-5 days to release.

We came from Michigan, stayed in Kentucky, West Virginia, and PA. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. The room was clean and cozy. The rooms were updated and the view was amazing. The setup of the room was very nice and it was very spacious! It was probably the biggest room we had stayed in with the two beds. Lots of room. The bathroom door was not a typical bathroom door, it was like a sliding glass door, but it wasn't glass... I don't know how to describe it, but I loved it. The walk in shower was amazing. The bathroom was also very spacious. It was a great stay. My daughter has been bugging me to take her back to Kentucky so she can stay at the Glo hotel because she enjoyed it very much. The only issue I think we encountered was that the pool was not very warm, but my child still enjoyed it. Because of COVID I think they were only allowing 3 families in at a time, and you had to schedule your time in advance. It was nice initially when me and my daughter went into the pool area because another family was there with 3 kids, but it was during a time change and the front desk came in and asked them to leave so my daughter ended up swimming by herself which she didn't enjoy - but at the same time it didn't make her want to get out and leave.

This hotel was trendy, but had ants. Also, some amenities were broken (fridge, bathroom door, towel bar). Also, fairly noisey. Not recommended. Staff was, however, very friendly and the breakfast was a traditional pre-covid breakfast.

Amazing breakfast, large clean rooms and bathroom (we did stay in handicap accessible) ,affordable and accommodating. No hot tub, small pool but we didn't mind. The desk had us sign up a time for pool for social distancing. Great place for a family. We had to change our dates and it was not a problem. Comfortable beds as a nice gym too. We were happy with our stay.

My partner and I stayed 1 night and have no complaints. The room was clean and most of the furnishings were in great, working condition. We LOVED the king accessible room because the very of the rustic barn was pretty and the bathroom was fantastic! The bed was very comfortable, the front desk staff were very kind and accommodating and the pool was warm enough and big enough for a few relaxing laps. They did a good job adhering to all current Covid regulations, but were still able to offer time slots for the pool and a standard breakfast buffet ( Masks mandatory and gloves-provided). We walked to the Cracker Barrel for dinner and had a lovely experience there as well. Of all the hotels in the immediate area, this one is definitely the best overall, especially for the price.

Great, all I can say. Bigger room, comfortable bed, clean everywhere, nice front desk, very quiet and easy location, even provide the breakfast, used the Gym and swim pool, kids loved it all, a favor hotel they wanted next trip.

The clocks in the room were set wrong. Missed breakfast. Rushed to pack and leave. Left 2 new pairs never been worn of men's nikes, called a few hours later no shoes in my room. The staff was rude on the phone.

We were traveling and at 12:30 AM needed a place to lay out heads. GLO was very nice and clean. The rooms had lamanet instead of carpet, really liked this. The rooms were clean the showers were fantastic. Breakfast was served COVID friendly, person with mask, gloves and tongs was the only one in contact with food, including packaged items such as breakfast bars. Would diffentely stay again.

This was a great place to stay at. Sharnell W. was amazing with her customer service. She made us feel welcome and glad to have chosen this location. She ensure we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. We were 40 min from the Ark Encounter which was one of the reasons we went to KY. We will come back again.

Great hotel. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Hotel was new and very clean. Front desk brought up more towels since we had an extra person with us. Breakfast was nice even with the pandemic they had a variety of choices.

Ms.Celis at the front desk was awesome...friendly with a beautiful smile! Checked us in fast and helpful with every question we had! I'd steal her away and hire her for my business if she lived in Charlotte NC where we are from.Mrs. Cielo & Mrs. Enma were fantastic housekeepers! Cleaned every part of the room and since we requested turn down service due to the safety for us because off the pandemic they wore all the required gear to keep us and them safe! Outstanding job ladies! Ihave to say Mrs.Geno was the best example of customer service and food server I've seen in years! She was fantastic and so friendly. The food was very well prepared and tasted great. Thank you so much Mrs.Geno! The manager Mr.Rama we so friendly and helpful when I asked for some help with a trash bag for a mess in my car...he even supplied me with disposable gloves!! Above and beyond service from everyone thank you for a amazing stay!

The hotel was extremely clean, well designed, and the beds were super comfortable. The shower was so nice and the bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries. My husband used the gym and said it was smaller but pretty nice and clean for a hotel gym. Because of covid, an employee served us our breakfast (we opted for to go boxes) and we were able to take our delicious hot breakfast back to our room. Check in and out was easy and quick and we would love to return to this location in the future!

When we checked into room bed was unmade! So much for Covid cleaning! Front desk person rude! I had to wait almost 10 minutes for her to come to the front desk and she never even apologized! Just said do you want a room!

The bed and bedding were very omfortable. The hotel in general was clean. The room in particular was very clean and even smelled clean. Large room. Black out window covering so you could sleep without seeing out door lights. Large lobby. Good breakfast. Nice staff

The staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Hotel was modern decor yet very comfortable. King room had a comfy chair and foot rest and Keurig with coffee selection. Everything from the lobby to the rooms to the breakfast room was spotless and we felt very comfortable all during our stay. Served a hot breakfast, it was a served buffet and everything was very good, could eat in breakfast room or get it to go. The hotel is pet friendly. Hotel was great and with McDonalds, Cracker Barrel and a gas station within 2 minutes of the hotel it's also a very convenient stop while passing through Lexington. Highly recommend and definitely will stay again.

This hotel is quite modern and beautiful. More importantly, it has everything you would want from a quality hotel stay. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The beds/pillows provide a great night's rest. There are spacious walk-in showers and large backlit mirrors in the bathroom. The location is great for Lexington destinations or for a quick jump back onto the interstate if you are just passing through.

My first time at GLO and it was a pleasant experience. The room was awesome, clean, modern and comfortable. Although, being a pet friendly hotel, it would have been a nice touch if some of the amenities were targeted to/for pets. Overall, would definitely book again in the future.

Ultra professional service Check-in clerk went out of her way to make sure I was properly checked in and that I was receiving the current special. Her explanation of the Covid-19 breakfast procedure was great. She also explained the luggage cart procedure, they were sanitized after each use. My wife and I thought the room was outstanding (Flooring was great, no carpet for a cleaner room). The use of sliding barn doors were a very nice touch. Best shower that I had ever, would copy it in my house if I had the room. Great decorations and layout of the room made the stressful drive worth while. Thank you

We had reservations at La Quinta across the street bc we travel with our dog. That place was so disgusting I called Glo to see if they were pet friendly. They were so we went over there. I had looked on line for the price. Sharnell, at the front desk, was so kind. She gave me the on line rate and then even gave me a bigger discount when she heard my story of la Quinta. The hotel was so clean and very modern . The rooms had laminate wood, which I liked for having pets in the room. They had a hot breakfast to go, which was very good with choice of eggs, meat, yogurt and fruit. Would definitely stop here again !

Everything was great until three hours after I left, when a new charge came up on my card. Now I'm willing to pay for anything that I might have damaged, but telling me things are gone, then I mean I stole something, well that didn't, won't and would never even be something I'd let anyone around me to do. So except for being called a thief it was great. One of the cleanest rooms I'd been to in years, but never have thought it when I left but I won't be back.

Located just off the interstate. Beautifully decorated room. Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Modified breakfast service was very good. Friendly staff. Check in was completed very quickly and efficiently. Great hotel!!

We stay at the Lexington Glo at least 4 times a year, it's halfway between Michigan and Atlanta and it's just the perfect place! From the friendly employees to the commodities, it works great for our needs! Always clean! Always stocked! Always there when we need them! Not to mention, GREAT LOCATION! Cracker Barrel basically shares a parking lot!! :)

As an out-of-state UK parent, I've stayed at many Lexington hotels these past 4 years. This one is my favorite! First of all, ALWAYS a great price. The front desk ladies are always so sweet and happy! They are helpful and welcoming. Beautiful, modern lobby with plenty of spots to hang out. From bar seats with power outlets, to cozy chaise chairs, and table and chairs to eat/drink at. The breakfast is good quality and quantity of selection. Good coffee! I love that the rooms have wood floors. So much cleaner than carpet! Nice modern bathroom with barn door. Big shower. Comfortable beds with triple sheeting. No germy bedspread. Rooms and public areas are very clean. All in all a great place to stay for a great price. Very convenient to the university.

I am so happy I discovered this hotel. It's clean, well lit, safe parking, and the staff was friendly. I had my small blind dog with me and most importantly I felt very safe out front on her potty breaks.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Glo Best Western. Everyone that works there is very nice and professional. The room is large with a comfy bed. I loved the shower too! The hotel is in a great location. It is close to all of the farms and attractions we visited.

We stayed at this location on a motor coach tour. It is apparently new and is modern and very clean and bright. The guest rooms do not have carpet which makes it even cleaner. There is a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in the room. They have servers in the breakfast area who take your order for the items on the buffet then prepare the plates and bring them to you table. They were very courteous, efficient and hardworking. Don't forget to tip them.

Bathroom is huge with a walk-in tiled shower with two shower heads, one handheld and one directly over the middle of the stall. The sink is raised so there is no splashing water around the vanity. Better yet, there is an exhaust fan in the bathroom so it's not fogging up. Room has a microwave and a refrigerator, which worked well. Bed comfort was OK, nothing spectacular given they advertise a gel-topped mattress. Closet nook was a little small but did have a safe. The room was hot when we arrived. The AC was noisy and would not stay on consistently. They served a hot breakfast that was dished out by the staff. Many other places are using COVID as an excuse not to serve breakfast. This hotel is in a rather undeveloped part of Lexington. Hence, there aren't many dining options immediately close by. We ate at the Cracker Barrel that was within walking distance. It wasn't a disaster but left something to be desired. I would put this hotel in the enhanced budget category. It is probably the best place to stay on this street and maybe at this exit. I say that because I had some trouble a little over a year ago with pettiness over giving three people in my party a one bed room at Embassy Suites a little over a year ago. (Reservation with Hotwire specified it would accommodate three people, yet they wanted to charge us extra during a low occupancy weekend for a room with two beds). The other motels right on this street are looking a little shabby particularly the one across the street, which I stayed at nine years ago and apparently descended down the chain brands before finally closing.

While this isn't a 5 Star resort hotel it definitely deserves a full 5 stars based upon experience and value for the dollar. Sharnelle was awesome and gave me a very warm welcome for my first visit in Lexington. She was helpful with directions to food and clearly had a lot of passion to do a great job. The room was spotless and the hotel seems very new. Cool bathroom and lighting. Very comfortable bed and the room and bathroom design is similar to the European hotels that Best Western owns which are cool boutique hotels all over Europe. The breakfast was so-so but hats off to their work at making it COVID safe. A lady was there to plate things off the buffet. The hotel did a great job on all things COVID related. Bottom line is I would recommend this hotel. Easy 8-10 minute drive to the downtown area. Free parking out front. For great cocktails and food I would recommend West Main Crafting Co located on W Main St. Excellent.

Affordable and modern, Glo has handfuls of modern amenities and great service. Fast WiFi, clean rooms, moderate fitness area, and good breakfast offerings. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!

The hotel was very updated down to the faux wood floors in the rooms, which were very, very clean. I loved the bathroom and the linens. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair, but the office chair was OK. The hot breakfast was nice for a change. The young lady serving was nice and very accommodating. I felt very safe as a single traveler. I would stay the again.

We were so pleased with our stay here. The desk representative Will was helpful with local restaurants and area. The high light was the Great Gym. They practice strictly on COVID and we felt safe in the environment. Very clean and the modern look is so much fun. Thanks

I always hate to leave bad reviews but it is what it is. I have stayed at this hotel a dozen times (I am a platinum reward member) and never had a problem. Nice, clean rooms, great staff. However on 09/19/20 I called for a simple price confusion. Whoever answered the phone was very rude. I was asking for clarification on the room rates jumping $100 in a matter of minutes. Instead of a simple explanation I was told “yes those are the prices sorry if you don't like it.” Immediately canceled my trip for next weekend as well and am seriously considering switching to a different hotel brand altogether for my loyalty as we travel almost every weekend. Very disappointed in the answer (no they didn't know I was a rewards member). Also I'm sorry but no room here is worth $200 for two beds and a shower. I got an entire suite with a kitchen at a Marriott for a fraction of the price. For both trips.

The hotel is modern and very clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location is tight off the highway so it is very convenient. They have free breakfast in the morning. The internet is good. The pool is nice. Strong Covid-19 protocols. Felt very safe there.

We called the hotel directly, and made reservations for March 10th, explaining that my daughter had surgery in Atlanta the previous Thursday and as such, had some special requirements. As my daughter was still in quite a lot of pain, we were specific that we needed a first floor room close to the lobby. Additionally, we asked if there was a freezer in the room's refrigerator so we could rejuvenate her much-needed ice packs. The desk attendant reassured us that the fridge in each room had a freezer. As we were arriving on March 10th, we noticed a large bus for a high school sports team. The lobby was FILLED with teenage girls with a few chaperones and coaches. When I went to the desk to check in, I told Alyssa, the hotel employee at the front desk , that I sincerely hoped these energetic girls were not in rooms anywhere near us, reminding her of my daughter's recent surgery. Alyssa assured me they were NOT. We went to our room and began to settle in for the night. About 30 minutes later, the festivities began. This team was not just OVER us, but sounded like they were on the very next floor up! They were doing wind sprints up-and-down the halls, bouncing basketballs, and jumping on the beds. I called Alyssa at the front desk and asked her to please take action to get these guests quieted down. She said she would do this right away. Fifteen minutes later, the party was still going strong. I called Alyssa again, receiving the same assurances. Another 30 minutes passed. It was a great party upstairs, but not so great for US! Once again, I called Alyssa. This time she told me she had done all she could. It was nearly 11 p.m., and we were all very tired. It became apparent the party was going to continue for some time, denying us the rest we so desperately needed. After less than two hours in this room, we assembled our belongings and went to the front desk. I informed Alyssa that we were not staying because we could not SLEEP at the hotel due to her inability to control the noise situation. I asked for a refund, but she told me she could not do that. Exhausted and angry, we left. We called the Home2Suites in Georgetown, who happily discounted their rate and readied a room for our arrival. Although we had previously marked the GLO Best Western Lexington as our halfway stop on our way to and from Florida (staying there 3 or 4 times), we will not give them any more of our money! After all, they have been paid already for a night we COULD NOT EVEN SLEEP THERE! p.s. The refrigerators in the rooms DON'T have freezers in them either!

We were greeted with southern hospitality at the front desk, desk clerk listened while the grandmas told of our road trip from Michigan to Kentucky to see their grandson at the University of Kentucky. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, well priced and the location is convenient. A favorite when in Lexington.

I really enjoyed my stay at the glow Hotel I am definitely going to be returning for every trip that I come to Kentucky.. did not enjoy the breakfast but the heated pool was wonderful. The staff was friendly and respectable

Under mandated conditions due to COVID-19, there were limitations, but they were well compensated by hospitality of staff, honoring requests without argument or complaint, and assuring I was informed of times and access to amenities within the hotel, as well as opportunities around the city. Always remember... When you take a good attitude in with you, you just might be met with a great one!

Excellent room for the rates and service was impeccable! Was pet friendly and had all the amenities one would need to enjoy their stay. The front desk and cleaning staff was great. he hotel has a boutique hotel sytle feel without the high prices.

I had a few issues that were not handled to my liking and await the consideration of the company to either make my experience made right in some manner or compensated for my sense of security being breached ...

Enjoyed the stay. Sharnell was extremely warm and pleasant during check in. Only complaint was some towel shortage but front desk quickly addressed when pointed out. Otherwise breakfast options were great and staff made sure nothing ran out.

I would give this place more than 5 stars if it was an option. Hotel is one year old. Modern decor in lobby and rooms. Spacious room and lobby, very clean, comfy bed and pillows, walk-in shower, microwave, frig. and coffee pot in room. Breakfast as typical hotel, Check-in clerk (I think her name was Alyssa) was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Very wonderful stay here! It is classy and cute and not too expensive. Very friendly. Nice pool, no hot tub unfortunately but great room, soft bed and very cozy feel. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Standard breakfast things but very clean place and economical without feeling that way.

I chose this hotel for its convenience off the highway, as well as its design and price. It had amazing decor and was very affordable. The place was impeccably clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with eggs, ham, waffles, fresh yogurt, fresh coffee, cereal, bagels/toast and pastries. I would highly recommend the Glo Best Western hotel!!!!

It's a beautiful hotel. Designed wonderfully. Right next to a Cracker barrel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price it's a great place.

Hotel was in very good repair. Clean. Staff was personal and helpful. No bar in or near by. No "real" food close. Room comfy and well appointed. No extraneous decorations. Bathroom very clean and well appointed.

Bright modernistic decor is new to the regular "hotel" look. This hotel has been open only a year and is a new look for BW. The room was comfortable. The toilet area stretched the entire length of the room (this was a wheel chair accessible room} Microwave, coffeemaker, 'frig., and hairdryer provided. Free breakfast of sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs, dry and hot cereal, waffles and hot syrup.Conveniently located near I 64/75 and New Circle Rd. The shower was a little tricky to keep the water in the shower area.

Great room, great staff, great price. This was the third time we stayed at this property since it was opened, it has never let us down. We stayed on points this time, the value for the amount of points used or the equivalent dollar amount was definitely a selling point, then throw in the cleanliness, service, and great bed made for a great stay.

Another fabulous stay with Best Western GLo in Lexington, KY. Service, comfort, and cleanliness were all excellent. The bed was comfortable and very restful. I had the added treat of a window view of old horse barns. I would love to know more of the history of those buildings.

My wife found this gem on internet. Rooms great beds great clean Access off interstate easy. Not far from anything we had planned but definitely need your own transportation . Price was very low. I would stay here again

Everything was very clean and enjoyable. staff was very friendly. spent 3 days here and enjoyed every moment. breakfast was filling and very good. pool was very clean not a huge pool but enough to swim and play around in. work out room looked and smelled brand new. Staff at the front desk are the best. Don't think there is a better or friendlier staff in any hotel.

At ck in desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Lobby area was very clean and well maintained. Room was very modern and very clean. First room I've ever been in that had no carpet on the floors. There was a safe, microwave and fridge in the room we had. Other guest was very quiet and no noise. Breakfast was delicious.

Rikki checked us in when we arrived late in the evening. She was friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. The contemporary decor throughout the hotel is beautiful. Our room was sparkling clean. We love tile floors because they just feel cleaner than carpet. The high def TV was great. The mattress and pillows were perfect. We didn't eat breakfast but I did fix some coffee to go and took a look at the buffet. It was typical full hotel breakfast and everything looked fresh. Best Western is already our favorite hotel chain but this property was the best yet. Keep it up up BW!!

Not sure where to start... Upon arriving the hotel seems very hip and trendy, check in was easy and quick. The room was interesting, not quite what we are used to in our travels but that is okay. They have great blackout shades! BUT, that is where the positive ends. What good are blackout shades when the bright LED lighted light switch is bright enough to light the room? What good are the shades when you have a strobe light for a fire alarm that blinks every 5 seconds? Speaking of fire alarms... the whole hotel had to be evacuated 12:50 am with that strobe light of an alarm going off. Those work great and are super loud and get the job done quick. After about 20 minutes, with no explanation from the management or ANYONE for that matter the fire guy ‘kindly' told us we could re-enter, we think. We did and the rest of the night went fine and realize this was probably an anomaly. However, to finish this review the sounds travels easily because of the ‘no carpet' theme in the rooms and so you can hear A LOT more than what you should. That being said, we will skip staying here again and I would suggest you weigh the pros and cons before choosing Glo as your ‘rest' stop after 12+ hours driving.

Nice place, reasonable price. Very clean, attentive staff. We would definitely stay there again. Building and grounds were clean, located near restaurants and gas stations. Easily accessible from the highway

Room was comfortable and clean. We stayed 5 nights and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was OK, about what you should expect in this type of mid-level hotel. The bacon on Saturday morning was very good.

This is a newer hotel and excels and almost every way. It is clean and bright, well run. The staff was prompt and responsive. The room was larger than expected and had all the usual amenities, the beds were comfortable. For us a big plus was no carpeting in the room which (in my opinion) is much cleaner and attractive. It is 10 minutes from The Thoroughbred Center, the location of the hotel was great.

Booked this for one night on our way from Minneapolis to North Carolina. Price point was key - around $110 for a Sunday night. Property was listed as new, but there were issues. The modern concept is a bit ADD - classic decor mixed with primary colors - neon yellow door trim and odd unusable seating in the room, chevron style window blinds with diamond shaped lamp shades. The lighting between the two queen beds was ridiculous - so low that the end table between was almost useless. My water bottle was taller than the lamp shades. Comic style artwork in the hallways, etc. Plank flooring, which I'm sure is more sanitary, makes for a louder and industrial feel to the rooms. Lighting was harsh - just the two lights between the beds, one light by the window, and a spot light by the door. Nothing cozy about these rooms. There is a mini fridge and a microwave. However, we almost didn't even notice the microwave - it was in a corner behind the door, floor level under the safe and ironing board. Why not put that above the fridge? Windows didn't open at all. Room was either overly cold with the A/C or warm without it. I've never stayed in a hotel where the windows didn't open. Shower didn't drain (stood in 1-2" of standing water), tap water from the bathroom faucet tasted like mold/dirt. Our room was missing the TV remote. Had to go down to the front desk to get a new one - seems there is only one person on staff in the afternoons/evenings. No glassware at all - everything is plastic/paper/cardboard. So much waste. Would I stay again - probably not.

Modern, clean, pet friendly, and professional. Excellent stay. By far the best value in the price range. I wish there was an exact duplicate in every town. Staying at hotels can be a dreaded event, never knowing what your experience will be. This is a home run!

I was so happy to find a clean, reasonably priced European style hotel. The GLO was great at every level. We were impressed how the front desk handles guests. People expect so much these days. The breakfast attendant was fantastic and made her job appear seamless. The rooms were appropriate and I loved the extra layer of protection on the mattress. I had every amenity in my room I could need. The only thing that drove us nuts was the bright light switch by the door. We would cover it with a bandaid every night.

I had originally intended to stay up the road a few exits, but it had filled up by the time I got a confirmation on the number traveling with me. Looking around I spotted this hotel and was intrigued enough to give it a try. I am glad I did. This had one of the most comfortable beds I have stayed in at a hotel, especially at this price point. The rooms were fresh, which was to be expected with the age of the hotel. Though I am generally a fan of more traditional styling, the overall feel of the hotel was very nice. The breakfast selection was great. I will definitely make this one of my go-to hotels when running this route in the future.

Good hotel right off I75. My kids loved the window seat and colorful decor. Restaurants in walking distance are Cracker Barrel,McDonalds and Subway plus a C-store. Beds are comfy and good pillows. Breakfast is typical. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure.

I've actually never stayed at a Glo Best Western and I've traveled quite a bit...however, this is my first time booking with them but I've already decided I'll never book with them again. We planned to visit the area with my elderly parents and booked the room months in advance to get the early bird discounts. In the meantime my parent had a major medical scare and ends up we are unable to make the trip. We called to cancel over a week in a half in advance...explained the situation to them and the assistant manager says they have to charge us a full one night for each reservation. (We had two reservations made). Was able to email the General Manager Rajni Rama...and the response was that they would give us a 50% discount on each reservation. I found this to be so incredibly callous and not at all customer service oriented. We will pay this...but will never book with Glo BW.

The Glo is fantastic! Great layout, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, and more modern for the young adults as the young at heart. The value is great! The staff is welcoming and helpful in recommending near by food attractions.

Very nice modern facility. Rooms are a little small but I only needed them to sleep and shower. Registration staff was super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Breakfast could use a little sprucing up, but overall I was very pleased.

I am on a family vacation, and had just stayed at another hotel (never again) and did not have high expectations, but was greatly pleased and surprised at the cleanliness and friendliness of this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located to everything we had planned for the weekend. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable We can't say enough about the staff they were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

I was stayed at the Best Western Glo while on a cycling trip in the Lexington area, as it was one of the hotel selected for the group event. I never expected to stay at a Best Western, however I was taken back by the quality service and up-to-date nature of this hotel. When traveling for business or pleasure, this is a great hotel option for anyone.

All too often Best Western properties scream "dated" even when they are clean and functional. This new concept is a much more modern twist. This location opened earlier in 2019, so it remains to be seen how well the furnishings will wear and be maintained over time, but as of now it is terrific. Our room was well appointed and had plenty of surfaces and plugs; the only potential issue was that the microwave is near floor level, so it was inconvenient to use and would have been impossible to use for someone with mobility issues. The lobby is spacious, and the breakfast area has plenty of room. The fitness center is well equipped (although the only water was at an outside fountain, so a water bottle is useful.) All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, too.

Stated at Glo for one night after a University of Kentucky football game. Glo is a good concept and everything from check in to checkout was great. Great location near I 75 . Cracker Barrel within walking distance.

The GLO at Lexington is all shiny, bright and new..down to the new amenities dispensers in the shower! ( no more little bottles]. This is not your grandma's Best Western. Inside and out you are reminded of an art gallery. It is totally modern art, top to bottom. Hardwood floors through out and the same super comfy beds. Breakfast was great and the staff very kindly located a book that I forgot when I checked out. We can't wait to stay in another GLO!

Every item was very good...it gets all the check marks. Fresh looking place. Every one was very nice. Location was a big item....and it was the perfect location for all we wanted to see. Also was convenient to interstate.

I have stayed in many hotels while traveling with my job and I absolutely LOVE that this one has wood floors. Carpet harbors dirt, smells, and germs. The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast good, and employees helpful. I will definitely seek out GLO next time I travel.

I would rate this as one of the better hotels we have stayed at in the last two years. It is a new hotel, easy access to the freeway, lobby is large and quiet. Rooms were very large and clean. Breakfast was very, very good. I would recommend this to anyone including people with pets.

Brand new hotel. We stopped here for one night, on our way back home. It's a nice hotel, but there isn't really anything to rave about. It's pet friendly. There was no carpet in the room we had, which was nice but strange at the same time. It sort of took away the warm feeling. The general feel of the room was more like a college dorm I'd say. The beds were comfortable, but the colors and style/furniture just reminded me of an upscale college dorm. The breakfast was okay. Nothing really spectacular. Staff were friendly. Overall...I'd recommend this hotel for the cleanliness and fresh new feeling..and that it does make you feel like it could be a cool downtown hotel.

I enjoyed the look and feel and for being listed as a 2 star level hotel it felt much nicer. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and the rooms are comfortable and unique. I would only comment that they could use a hot tub and a little more sound muffling since it's non-carpeted floors.

Our number one criteria on a road trip is pet friendly for the dogs at a reasonable price. Many other brands overcharge but the Best Western fee is reasonable. We hope to keep it that way by being responsible pet owners who strive to make a small “paw print” wherever we stay. This beautiful new Best Western concept fit the bill. Clean, efficient rooms with laminate flooring and comfortable beds (we loved them), a nice breakfast in their modern open-concept lobby and plenty of outside walking area for our pets hit all the marks. Highly recommend!

Location is good, room was a little noisy from above(could not get on the 4th floor). Vinyl flooring throughout the room, very nice decor and a blackout window shade, which is a plus. The odd side, the hanging lamps above the end tables were 12” above the table, the strangest setup I have ever seen in a hotel. If you can get past that, this one is a winner.

This is an extremely clean and modern hotel. The interior design is both colorful and functional. Clean surfaces (no grundgy carpets). Also..pet friendly complete with a dog walking area!!! THe staff was friendly and helpful!

I checked in Sunday evening (8/11/19) can't remember the lady's name who was working, but she was very friendly and professional. That always sets a good tone when you arrive at a place. Clean comfortable room. The bed was very comfy and that's something I don't say often. My daughter loved the fact they had a salt water pool I prefer normal chlorine but no biggie there. I also love the fact they have Keurig coffee makers in the rooms. I think all hotels should now days. Breakfast was mediocre but not bad. Only thing I didn't like but the way it was built don't keep noise out very well. I could here people trampling in the room above us, every time a door closed on our floor it sounded as if it was always right beside us. If in Lexington for a night again will definitely stay here.

This is a new hotel, very fresh, good colors, european style - a refreshing new brand! The rooms were nice, bright, good beds, very clean. They do not have a liquor licence, the front desk suggested the bar at the Four Points (a good recommendation!).

This is not your you mama's Best Western! This new format of Best Western Hotels has a complete new feel and vibe. While my 15 year old daughter was enamored with the decor and feel of the room, I was in the middle. I felt like the person(s) that did some of the design work had a love for comic book strips based on some of the art work on display. The rooms are spacious with a hard wood floor alternative which I think is a great choice over carpet - but it also made the room feel a little less cozy. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive and over all I think this hotel has all of the staying power of the better more established brands out there. Loved the lobby/ eating area. Love that you accept dogs!!!

All aspects from check in to check out were friendly and more importantly efficient. The room was comfy and attractive. I enjoyed the sleek finishes and streamlined style with a touch of whimsy at the GLO.

We stayed here for 2 nights while son was at a soccer tournament. Modern, seemingly new hotel. Everything was fresh and clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower was nice. My only complaints are the light switch in the room had such a bright light on it that it was a nuisance when trying to sleep, and it would be nice if breakfast started at 6:00 for those getting an early start. Pool looked small, didn't even bother with it, too crowded! Otherwise it was a fine place to stay.

Our stay was decent and fairly comfortable. However, the room was not fully finished, there were a couple things missing. The price was very reasonable for the accommodation. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods to choose from. They had a nice sized pool and fitness room as well. The hotel was very clean.

We were in Lexington attending BreyerFest and Glo was the closest hotel. The staff was very nice, the facility was very clean. There was a variety of choices for breakfast each morning and the front desk had a selection of snack items to purchase. The only reason for not selecting 5 stars is the pool is on the small side and the pool room is very hot/muggy. But, we spent every evening swimming. Our overall stay was great.

This is a newer property. Bed was fresh and comfortable. Room wall paper lead me to dizziness. Just not pleasing to my taste. No chair except the desk chair and a vinyl thing on wheels. I agree with others, the walls are thin. I heard an entire conversation if the person next door. Shower was nice. Breakfast was typical hotel food. I did enjoy yogert machine. Will I stay at a GLO again? No probably not.

This hotel is chic and nice. Modern rooms & is super close to the highway. We were able to check in early & we were grateful after a long day of driving with a toddler. Only complaints I have is our room floor was dirty to where it turned our feet black- yuck! We also experienced the entire hotel losing power from a storm in which we were literally trapped upstairs with no communication with the front desk and didnt know what to do. Their phone lines didnt work from lack of electricity. The only way down off our floor was the elevator (that didnt work) or the staircase that said fire escape/please keep door closed. We didnt want to push that open incase it set off an alarm but there was no other way off the top floor! My husband ended up going down that set of stairs and no alarm sounded but it led him outside to the near back of the building and he had to find his way back to the front entrance in the rain. Thankfully the power came back on within a an hour or so but it was kind of a fiasco. They really need to have a staircase for guests to use other than a fire escape if they're not going to provide a generator back up for power! We didn't get to have the breakfast due to leaving before it was served so we can't comment on that! Staff was friendly and knowledgable.

My wife and I stayed here for a single night and we were impressed. To begin with, we were able to check in early on a Friday morning. Our king bed room was not available, but the clerk (I cannot remember her name, but she was extremely friendly and helpful) looked and found a queen room that was available and satisfactory to us. The entire hotel, including our room, seemed quite new and it was clean, comfortable and inviting. It was also very convenient to our primary destination (Kentucky Horse Park). The hotel décor was what I might call Danish modern and seemed very upscale. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was very tasty and was more complete than the standard continental breakfast often offered. Should we ever find ourselves in the Lexington area again, we will certainly try to reserve a room here.

Looks like it is a new facility. The décor is a take on a modern décor, great beds, huge room, no nasty carpets in the room. Keurig coffee pot in the room as well as a few coffee pods. Morning starting at 7AM they have a nice breakfast selection and huge eating area with plenty of table space. Also this is a pet friendly hotel. Very clean. Nice area, and right close to Cracker Barrel and McDonalds. Would definitely go back to this place again and again.

Beds were so comfortable. Young man at front desk was so friendly. He suggested a nice restaurant and it was so good we ate their both nights. Modern clean look. Liked no carpet on the floors. Would stay there again in I was in Kentucky !

The hotel has a very modern looking and is very clean, but the walls are very thin and all sounds from the adjoining rooms can be heard. I had also seen in reviews that it was quieter on the top floor, due to noises from the floor above. No carpeting in rooms! The place is really nice, if you don't have people coming in late and partying next door, like we did. I do want to say the staff was great, and the breakfast had very thing I needed, included in the price. If not for the noise in the middle of the night, this hotel would have had a rating of five.

I had never stayed at a Best Western before so I was not sure what to expect but this stay TOTALLY WENT BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!! Beautiful hotel! Totally new, so clean, and great customer service!! Loved it!!! I will look for one of these hotels to stay in wherever I travel from now on!!

My wife and I spent the night here on our way from Georgia to Michigan on May 31st. We loved the place so much that 20 minutes after checking in I was already booking a room for our drive back to Georgia three weeks later. The rooms are beautiful and large. I was blown away by how beautiful the rooms are. Our room had a extremely comfortable king sized bed and a large shower. We did have a slight problem with the sheets on our bed during the second visit on June 19th but it was taken care of immediately by the front desk staff on duty. Their pool was very nice. My wife and I enjoyed swimming in it both times we were there. We also enjoyed the breakfast before leaving out. All the staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions about what was around the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again next time we drive up to Michigan. Thanks for such an awesome experience!!!

We chose this hotel fir the pool and new Decore in rooms.. The Pool WAS TOO COLD. Wife Didn't GET IN.. Room Was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. No Seating TO RELAX!! NO Table and chairs . WE HAD TO SIT ON THE BED

This hotel is pretty new and is spotlessly clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous and the breakfast was tremendous. I've stayed at the Hilton prior to this trip, but this will be my go-to hotel from now on. A wonderful experience.

While driving home to VA, we stumbled on Glo Best Western by accident. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. This hotel is ultra modern and chic. The price was comparable of surrounding hotels but I feel this hotel is worth any price. The rooms are beautifully decorated and feel very European. The bed was amazing and the bathroom was larger and well equipped with a large walk in shower with a rain shower - organic body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided from wall receptacles. No fumbling around with little bottles and bars of soap. Huge fluffy towels and even make up remover is provided. In room refrigerator and a mini Keurig was icing on the cake! The complimentary breakfast was better than most with fresh homemade yogurt with toppings and standard fare of eggs, bacon, oatmeal, waffles and cold cereal. My only complaint is the light switch inside the door was an LED switch which was like a landing beacon at the airport when all the lights were out and was shining directly into my eyes. Problem solved with a black shirt placed over the switch with the ironing board (also a nice feature provided) holding it on the wall! If you're traveling look for a Glo. They are few and far between but worth a visit! Front desk staff was helpful and welcoming also!

I stayed at a new Best Western hotel by the name GLO. I had not heard of this new brand but saw it was Best Western so gave it a try. The hotel has a modern theme which is not my style but the hotel was new, clean and very comfortable. There was even a charging station out front for electric cars. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying with a good variety of choices. I was very happy with the hotel and staff.

Nice hotel, very clean, very friendly. Only problem was that it can be very noisy at night from other guests, you can hear EVERYTHING. I guess it's because there are no rugs in the room, so you can hear a lot of thumping around. Beds were a little hard for my soft body. But, overall, it was good.

My wife is really upset at me for not booking us for two nights here. She read the reviews before our stay so we knew that our best bet was to be on the top floor. The room is wonderful and the bed/bedding/pillows were so comfortable. For the first time in a very long time she actually got a good nights rest. We brought our own k-cups but used the single serve Keurig in the room. I liked that the shower was big enough and that there was a his and hers sink. The hotel overall cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Breakfast was wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish there was more options for fresh fruit. Other than that very minor complaint our stay was fantastic. Next year when we go back to festival of the bluegrass we will be staying here again. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was awesome. Great new look and the amenities were great! When we went to another location we found another Glo and of course we stayed there too. Hope to see more of these being built around the country. The room pricing was a great value as well. Keep up the great work!!

I loved this place. This was the first time I have stayed at the GLo brand, and loved the modern look!. The room was super cute, with the barn door for the bathroom. The difference in how the hotel was styled was so neat, and would love to see more Best Westerns look like this. Alexis at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She was friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my interaction with her. The only drawback about our overnight stay was the breakfast. Definitely less then average, and the selection was poor. But that is not why I chose this hotel, and I would come back here again if in Lexington again!

I definitely will be returning to this establishment if need be. The rooms were unique and awesome plus clean. The staff was nice and respectful, and it's just a good vibe and a good nights sleep at this hotel.

Glo Best Western in Lexington was an awesome stay. From the friendly front desk staff to the breakfast staff it was pleasant. The room was super clean and the mattress was gel and so comfortable that I sleep like a baby. I am staying there again on my return trip home. It just just awesome.

Great new concept hotel. Will seek these locations out for future personal and business travel. Fun cool vibe. Great room and nice breakfast. Pillows were great as well. Would recommend this concept to others.

We just happened to go to this hotel because the one we were supposed to stay in was pretty disgusting. The staff was ridiculously friendly, very clean room and fun decor throughout. Will stay here again!

New motel so I was really surprised they missed the mark!! Horrible lighting in the room. Sheets were like sandpaper. No comfortable chair in room. Hand towel had hair on it and it wasn't mine!! Pillows were like rocks. Did have nice coffee pot. Good breakfast.

The Best Western Glo is a cool upgrade over some of the tired old Best Western properties that I have visited in the past. Service is a focus. The decor is interesting. Love that there is not dirty carpet but rather floors in the large accommodating rooms.
