Judging for UKC, stayed 4 nights . Well appointed, large clean rooms. Excellent breakfast options & coffee available 24/7! Friendly staff and convenient restaurants. My only want at this location would have been better water pressure & flow in rhe shower, very stingy flow restrictor in shower head.
This hotel offered a clean room, great breakfast bar, and very courteous staff. We had been traveling on the road for a week or so and wanted a more budget friendly option. This hotel was very affordable and clean. There are not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity but we expected that being directly off of I-81 north of Hershey, PA. However, there was a nice pizza shop down the street from the hotel that made a great pizza. If you want a budget friendly hotel that is clean and offers a great breakfast this is the place. We will be returning next time we travel through this area.
The hotel was very nice and clean. Clean and hot shower. All the amities work. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The only tricky thing was the getting into the wrong. Andrew the person at front desk was very helpful, nice and very professional. We will definitely be back for a visit.
We appreciated these things during our stay: Quiet hotel, quiet location, clean room, new furniture, solid comfortable beds, and full breakfast with wide variety of choices. This hotel had them. Just right for our one-night stay. We got lucky having no noisy neighbors too!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! My wife and I can endure quite a bit from a hotel, but we cannot accept blatant dishonesty. Let me explain further: We stayed at SureStay Plus by Best Western at 16 Marsanna Lane in Jonestown, PA on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The problem arose when a few days later, we noticed that the $250 damage deposit had not been refunded to our credit card. We called the property to inquire as to when we could expect the credit to appear and were informed that they were keeping the deposit because we had smoked in the room. Here's the kicker; neither my wife nor I smoke, and the room had no smoke odor when we checked in OR when we checked out. We asked that the General Manager return our call so that we could discuss the obvious error. It's has been over three weeks since our stay and our call has not been returned. After about a week of waiting for a call, we contacted the credit card company and filed a dispute. The credit card company credited our account pending resolution and contacted the property as well. A conversation with the credit card company today confirmed that the Manager has not returned their call either. What kind of General Manager does not return a call from a customer when a legitimate problem is at hand? We must assume that this was a deliberate attempt to keep our security deposit under false pretenses. We will continue trying to contact the General Manager, but the hope is fading fast that we will be given that courtesy. Therefore, we urge potential customers to make lodging arrangements elsewhere and avoid the potential inconvenience associated with doing business with dishonest people.
Are home burnt down and our insurance company put in put us in this hotel which was nothing but a nightmare they never cleaned our room we had rented two rooms from April to July one room was cleaned only one time the other room was never touched they had bird s*** all over the place on the second and third floor they had their kitchen is never clean flies in there in the cereal containers the floor is that sticky that your slides will literally stick to the floor they never vacuum the hallways they're lucky if they mop the front of the place once a week the staff is very rude nasty Monica would rather stand there and call you a liar a b**** and scream at you renita would like to cause drama with my family and this was reported to the owner the owner did absolutely nothing about it the owner doesn't even come in and check on the place the owner don't see what the staff is doing for some reason I don't know why he's not watching his cameras but anyhow but there's been multiple times where Monica got nasty to my family renita also got into my daughter's face called her a w**** and just got plain out nasty for no reason also my family member had a windshield break and we had asked the front desk and he could contact the owner to look at the cameras at a Pacific day and time when we know when the windshield was broken we got told that they were not going to contact the owner for something stupid so this hotel owes us a new windshield because they would not take proper protocol I would advise everybody to stay out of that hotel because there is no general manager it is young kids running this place that are nothing but nasty to their guest
I had requested an iron and iron board to press our uniforms never got an answer. The floor lamp was not working along with the phone in the room. It was not a pleasant experience. And because of this experience we checked out early. I will not be back or recommend SureStay.
The room was filthy. It had an unpleasant odor. Towels were not replaced. Trash was not emptied. The dining room floor was so sticky it almost pulled my shoes off. Staff was never present at the desk.
you ain't from PA??? Well make sure you stop here for the full experience! free entertainment all night if you sit at the smoking section and watch the neighbors 🤣 Really though the staff was cool, except one of them which I "assume" is the overhead boss of this organization for reasons I'll leave off this Google review l...he's a shady character 👉🏼but he's lucked into some great employees so I would stay here again.
We were just staying overnight as a stopover on our way to Lancaster, PA. The price of this hotel was significantly less than the other two off of the same exit. The lobby and room were both clean and everything was in good working order. The hotel is a little older- but it was more than fine for one night.
Absolutely loved our stay and we will be back again. Whenever we pass this way your hotel will bebour go to place in the future It's nice to be received by smiling and friendly front desk staff. It made us feel very much at home.
room was totally disgusting. would not suggest staying there. There were stains on the bed spreads. There was a smell in the room. The carpet was dirty. I have never been to a hotel that nasty before. They also charged me and we did not stay. We ran away as fast as possible
I had a very nice time. The staff is really friendly, a kind to my dog. I find that the property is well kept. The parking lot is well lit at night. I haven't been to the gym so I'm not sure what that is like.
I do not mind sharing. We lost our home to mold and it is being destroyed. I also have breast cancer and am going through breast cancer. On top of that we need a septic system replaced. The roofer who is at fault for us losing everything is not stepping up to the plate. The owner of the hotel has been great and is giving us a discount.God bless him.
Quiet, clean, conveniently located off 81. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Great variety of breakfast items; clean service and clean table and chairs. Great cable television. Welcoming, well decorated lobby. I've stayed at this location twice, and will stay here in the future.
Filthy property, insect infested, room had horrible smoke odor and carpet was dirty., Parking lot is filthy and share a driveway with unsavory characters...Breakfast was good and staff nice but unable to clean or fix broken tv and silence a smoke alarm.. .
This SureStayPlus in Jonestown, PA offered a good variety of hot and cold breakfast food and beverages, in an all-you-can-eat buffet style. Unlike our prior bad experience at the Best Western SureStayPlus in Niagara Falls, NY where guests were treated poorly, being watched by staff in the breakfast room all the time to regulate how much and how the guests should eat their breakfasts, no staff stood in the breakfast room at this Jonestown hotel to watch how the guests eat their breakfast as if they were little children! The staff at the SureStayPlus in Jonestown, PA were very pleasant and diligent in responding to guests' requests and concerns, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast room was kept clean, organized and pleasant throughout our 3-day stay. This hotel offered one of the best breakfast experiences we've had at hotels!
We came here because of the location. Stayed here before several times when it was another brand. It has gone way down. Mattress needed to be replaced, linens are old. Towels mismatched. Housekeeping does not enter the room without being requested. We had no soap, shampoo or conditioner etc, when we checked in. Had to ask for them. Also the brands and scents did not match. The room smelled of smoke, and the lighting was terrible. Staff was very nice. If you want trash taken out, you put it in the hall. If you want fresh towels, you put them in the hall as well. Had to go get clean towels every day from the front desk.
I am writing this review on behalf of friends, who stayed here on the above dates while visiting us. I recommended this hotel to them, based on my cousins prior stay the year before and TripAdvisor Reviews, all of which were favorable. However, I don't know what's occurred in the past year to this hotel, but this stay was not at all acceptable: 1) At check in, the desk staff was pleasant, however the entire hotel room floor was sticky and the coffee pot was broken, (replaced). Our friend walked barefoot in the room and his feet were black, as were his towels from washing them as a result. 2) The room was never cleaned during the entire stay, although it was requested twice. The first time the desk said that our friend had requested them to not clean the room, which was a lie. We were present at check in with him and he never said that. He again requested at the desk for the room to be cleaned, garbage emptied and towels replaced. However, at this second request the room was still not attended to. Instead, the door tag requesting the room to be cleaned was flipped to do not disturb. 3) Desk staff was only at the desk the first night. After that, no one was ever there but then suddenly the person would come running in from somewhere outside. There were parties going on at the house across from the hotel, which our desk clerk told us the first night that they all lived there. There were also people also hanging out in the parking lot. We did not feel at all safe. 4) Breakfast - stale bagels, no fruit and no juice. 5) Outward appearance - no flowers, empty planters filled with garbage; pool closed and green. As a result of this visit, I will no longer recommend this hotel to anyone. We have a friend coming into town next month and will be sending him elsewhere. They just lost us and those we know as a customer.
The room was clean, everything worked, the staff were helpful when we asked about noise from the room above. One complaint is there was no way to darken the room because the curtains were missing. Good breakfast and coffee.
Staff is very unprofessional and no helpful. Food is terrible. They don't mind charging you way more than what is advertised on their website either! I could go on and on but, we have stayed there several times to give them a fair shot, each stay it gets worse and worse. We are not going back!
Upon arrival, check in was quick and easy, but the girl working much rather have talked with her friends. Got to our room and walked into a pitch black room, creepy. We went to take showers, only 2 sets of towels for 4 people! My husband had to go ask for more, which took forever bc there was a line of people waiting for the same thing, more towels! My children and I took showers, noticed the bathtub clogging up. Figured it would go down once my husband took a shower, nope! Now bed time, the AC made sooo much noise, luckily the kids were so tired and fell asleep bc it kept me up all night. Between the noise and the cold air NOT coming out. Beds were so small. Listed as double queen, they were more like oversized twin beds. The hardwood floors made it loud too for the walking. Breakfast was only served till about 930. It was gross! Food was disgusting, tables and counters all sticky. No one to clean them. Luckily we had plans in the afternoon, my daughter wanted to go swimming but the pool was so gross. We love best western and this hotels location was very convenient but will NEVER stay at this place again!
People are smoking in the non-smoking hotel, the pool was not clean when the claimed it was the curtains dot shut everything feels unclean and the breakfast was spoiled and rotten. The workout bike is broken and feels very dirty.
Very pleasant stay, staff very courteous, rooms were spacious and there were many breakfast options, internet worked well. Would definitely stay again….relatively close to fuel and eating options…just off the interstate highway
For the price, this is a great place to stay! Not plush that higher priced hotels offer but welcoming staff. Clean room, comfy beds and quiet. Breakfast is included with many hot and cold offerings! Ample drawer and closet space, nice TV and free coffee/tea always available in lobby. Just a getaway weekend with sister & room had two queen beds. Recommend.
Very nice lady at front desk. Floor of front lobby very dirty. Hotel floor (second floor) smelled like cigarette smoke and trash. Room was decent, but found hand prints on the headboard, dirt in the carpet, and public hairs on the toilet seat/shower floor. This hotel needs to pay better attention to detail while cleaning.
Easy access from I-81 PA, reasonable price. Hotel has had some upgrades in common areas but guest room bathroom in desperate need of new tub and paint. Bed was okay, have slept on much better and also much worse.
Front desk had a leak from the ceiling when we arrived. Rooms were musty smelling and poorly cleaned. Was cheap for the area. Breakfast was good for that kind of hotel. Would try somewhere else next time.
This hotel was easy access of Interstate 81. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean - including bathroom. Water pressure was perfect! Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Coffee was delicious. Would definitely make this my stop in my travels down 81. .
Best Western in the past was a good value and a very nice hotel. Unfortunately the change to SureStay has been bad for the hotel. I booked a room several days in advance for our Fl to Maine trip. We have had a good experience in the past, and travelled from Myrtle Beach, SC to Jonestown specifically for the hotel. I arrived around 9 PM, handed my license and credit card to Cassidy. She promptly processed my card, and then told me that there was no reservation. I said there certainly was, and went to get my phone in the car. I discovered that the reservation had been accidentally made for Sunday instead of Monday. She said she was unable to do anything about that. I said I could not afford to stay and wanted my card charge cancelled. We would continue on to Maine. She said she couldn't do that. I would have to talk to the Mgr in the morning. We decided to stay, since we were exhausted, and apparently were going to be charged anyway. In the morning the Mgr said she would have to talk to the owners. We were billed for both nights, though the motel was very sparsely occupied on both days. The breakfast meal was good...but everything else was seedy. The Best Western in Jonestown has sadly become a seedy cheap motel. We will not be back.
ME AND MY BOYFRIEND STAYED THE WEEKEND OF MAY14TH WE HAD A GREAT VISIT THE front DESK Lady monica was very kind and plesent also the one cleaning lady Angela was so sweet and helpfull took the time to help us with getting familuir with whAT WAS AROUND THE AREA we were looking for places close by to sit down an eat an she sent us to a great place called mouses she was just over all so paitent an took the time to talk to us.. over all our room was nice cozy clean an quiet breKFAST WAS DELSIH......will be coming back again in a few mo when we are back in the area
The good: -Location. Right off the interstate. -Bed. Fairly comfortable -Room was okay. Desk was cluttered with coffee maker and such, made spreading work out difficult. The bad: facility & customer service. It would be great, if properly maintained. One of the light bulbs in the bathroom was blown out. That's not a big deal to me, as there are two more in the fixture. What was a big deal was when I went to shower prior to checking out, I found the tub would not drain. Some white, brown, and yellow.... Stuff came out of the drain and was floating in the water that had accumulated in the tub. Wish I had taken pictures. The desk clerk took the room out of service, but did not offer any resolution to me personally. Will be contacting BW Rewards customer care.
Needed a place quickly to attend a last minute meeting. Found this place on line, the price was perfect, Staff kind and helpful and available. Located in a quiet area and on a roads not traveled much. Breakfast was great, plentiful and clean area and the internet worked amazing. I expected the beds to be bigger but honestly I might not have asked for the 2 king size beds. The rooms are older, but updated. I only wished that there were more outlets for charging my families devices. I would choose to stay again and recommend the hotel for an affordable, clean and quiet place with friendly, courteous and helpful staff.
I have stayed at this hotel several times for business travel and even though the room decor is a little older, the helpful staff make the difference. One staff in particular Brian G. has ALWAYS been helpful, accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has been there every time I have come into to town and when he is there I know my check-in will go quickly and smoothly.
I was really satisfied with our stay. The Staff, Front Desk, Breakfast Server and Cleaning Staff were all so friendly and helpful. I really felt at home and that the Staff appreciated us staying at their Hotel. Big smiles on everyone's faces!! We were not ignored! The room was clean and the Front Desk put us in a room that was quiet. We were staying for 6 nights. Breakfast was hot and the area was clean. Location was perfect for us.
I recently stayed at this hotel as I was visiting some college friends in the area for the holiday season. I want to personally thank the front door receptionist Brian for the amazing customer service he provided me. Extremely professional and friendly, he was patient while answering all my questions/concerns during my visit. Also, my room was great!! Very clean and comfortable. Overall, the wonderful customer service and room made my stay enjoyable. Thank you to Brian and the hotel staff!! Much appreciated!! - Ben
Floors where dirty. Room didn't smell the best. Positive was that the shower was hot and the breakfast was great. Location was good and we was close to where we needed to be with restaurant and gas stations close.
The hotel was right off the highway, with easy access on and off. Easy to find in a fair neighborhood. The room was fairly clean with the exception of one mattress that was dirty and mattress cover was not on all the way. Water was hot, breakfast was fair. For the price it was OK.
Clean the rooms. The room smelled like a person smoked the night away. The toilet still had someones urine in to which smelled the bathroom up. The tub was full of grimy water. It is bad to say the the military barracks were cleaner then this room.
Parking lot and road to this hotel are extremely dark. Hotel is close to an apartment complex. The room was cozy. Everything in the room worked well. Staff was nice but not over friendly. Other guests were noisy at late hours. A good night's stay but not a great one.
Hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. Nice amount of outlets to work with. Front desk staff were extremely nice. Located easy drive to Hershey and this really cool restaurant down the street The staff recommended. Very hometown feel. Enjoyed my quiet stay, will be back when in the area for work again.
Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at this hotel while visiting family. The staff was very warm and friendly, they accommodated any needs that we had. Very clean and quiet! Will be booking this hotel again!
This hotel is a dump. We asked for a quiet location; were given first room off the lobby near vending. NOT QUIET. I'm pretty certain the people above us were bowling! Upon entering the room, we could see that it had not been vacuumed. The front desk person got out the sweeper and sorta swept. The bathroom was disgusting. Please see pictures. I swiped my finger over the hair dryer so you can see how long it's been since they dusted. The front desk person just said that apparently "she" did it too quickly. I don't think she did it at all. I do not recommend staying here. One of the worst hotels we've ever experienced.
avoid at all cost! did not provide continental breakfast as advertised on internet! mattresses and box springs need to be replacement! sunk into middle! foot higher than head! even the minimum amount of characters in this review suck, suck, suck!
Floor was dirty, we were told they had no clean washcloths, they didn't want to find clean bath towels, was a smell in the room. Tub had no slip proof mat so tub was slippery and could not take a shower. Was unhappy enough not to want to stay there again.
I had booked a room with Surestay plus for the 4th of July weekend. As soon as I walked in the walls in the lobby looked like it they were still in the middle of being worked on. Once my friend and I got unpacked we just went straight to bed. We woke up in the middle of the night to find out our ceiling was leaking into our shower, then the next morning we check out shower to discover pieces of the ceiling had broken off into our shower. I went to the front desk to speak to someone but there was no one there. I was already late for my event so I left after ringing the bell and no one coming to the front. As I returned the hotel later that day, I had informed front desk of my problem and they switched me to another room just for that room to have a problem with the card reader ok that door. The only good thing to come out of that trip were the two lovely ladies at the front desk that helped as much as they could. Monica ,and Jen your guys are awesome! I will not be booking here again, hopefully this review will warn people not to stay at this hotel
We checked in late and the front desk staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking. Was a little worried walking down the hallway because of the smell, but our room was fine - no bad odor. Nothing really close by, but it was clean and a good price - two main qualities I look for - would stay again!
5 Star that could've been 1 star - soon after we checked in, the A/C unit conked out - however, while we were out at dinner the staff got their maintenance guy in and as we returned a few hours later from dinner out, he was finishing vacuuming up the workarea in front of the A/C unit and it was working like a champ!! Nice comfortable well A/C'd room the rest of our visit.
Nice Clean, quiet room. And when checking into the hotel we were told to wear our mask at the breakfast area and sadly my husband I were the only ones that must of got that message which in turn , we ate elsewhere.
The motel has free parking. My check in went quickly. The rooms have inside entries. My room had everything I needed except for adequate electrical outlets (I needed 2, I found 1). I stayed 2 nights and got a good night's sleep both nights, but only 1 of my 2 requested wake up calls. My check out went quickly.
Stingy with the breakfast, constant water leaks and I was told I couldn't return for maintenance issues and no room later to find out they were mad because they had to clean my room. Let me and my kids with nowhere to stay and no reminder.
The room smelled like weed upon arrival. Apparently this has been a problem before as there was a sign on the front door stating that marijuana is illegal. The bathroom floor had very clearly not been mopped as there were dried water spots and crumbs on the floor. Who knows if they cleaned the rest of the room. The corners of the sheets weren't even tucked on the bed, just laid on top of the fitted sheet. Definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.
Needless to say I hated staying here. Had to stay in my room most the time so I didn't get high. People smoking in the rooms, out in the parking lot, even by the exits. This hotel used to be nice. It's very poorly run. Days Inn is the way to go for now on.
I have stayed here a number of times in the last 6 months and at a number of other hotels in the last year and this place is far above the rest. Rite away I noticed how clean the room was ,how comfy the bed was and how incredibly nice the staff was. Me and my 3 yr old have been made to feel like family. We are greeted with smiling faces everytime we return and waved goodbye when we leave . I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will continue to stay here over any hotel in the surrounding area. We love our sure stay family ☺️
I had a great stay the staff was extremely nice and helpful. They recommended some enjoyable things to do in the area. My room was spotless and place is very well kept. Overall I would recommend them to anyone. A++ for the price!
This hotel was very home like. Staff was great and very accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The room could have used a little better lighting but all in all was very relaxing. Will definitely stay here again on our way home.
Traveling to Florida and stopped off here quiet tucked away hotel. Nice staff clean rooms and they offer hot breakfast sandwiches with other prepacked items. Will stay on my return trip home. Pet friendly is a plus.
Filkthy place! Poorly run and half the sraff don't wear masks!!!! So called Laundry room...in stairway and disgusting! Rooms have mold and poorly cleaned! Be smart...spebd a liitle more and run!!!!! I would definitely not recommend this Dirt hole to anyone... be warned ;)
Very nice hotel .sweet friendly stuff .i got the chance to meet Tiffany at the front desk .super friendly lady very attentive willing to listen to my concerns. Open to suggestions . I was very pleased talking to her .got to her twice during my stay . Definitely a big plus to the hotel customer service wise . Thank you Tiffany . will see you soon Clean .decent hotel .very friendly stuff .thank you guys
My registration was handled on the phone, the clerk checked us in quickly once we arrived and the hotel and the accommodations were exceptional. I was surprised to find out this location is pet friendly.
For five months I stayed at the Jonestown Pennsylvania SureStay. For the value you cannot to wrong. A warm and friendly envuronment. Every penny spent was worth the costs. Could not have found another facility who would want beyond their duties to make my stay as pleasant as it had been. Management and staff were exceptional and went the extra mile to make sure my stay was as pleasant as it could have been. Everyone from front desk, housekeeping, maintenance were well qualified to handle any situation you may have while at SureStay. Some people will never be satisfied regardless of how much they receive for the value they are paying. SureStay value is next to none. You cannot go wrong renting a room. If you have an issue management and the front desk are there for YOU, and will resolve YOUR issue.
The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The room is always available on time. Rooms are clean and all the amenities are always available and work properly. This hotel is a great value. I would recommend it to anyone.
The front desk staff were helpful. Before arriving, we asked for a 2nd floor room by the exit stairs. We did get exactly that, except the exit stairs were closed/not usable. There was hair on the bed and in the sheets. The employee at the front desk was understanding and gave us a new room. We had been driving for over 10 hours and were tired, so we quickly switched rooms, looked at the bed and sheets and decided they were good enough. The next morning when we checked out, we realized the coat we saw in the closet, along with the stray sock, were not ours! There was also a melted ice cream bar in the refrigerator, also not ours. We spoke with the day manager and were given a partial refund of the room. I chose this hotel based on the Best Western cleanliness promise during covid. They did not live up to this promise, sadly.
We needed a pet friendly hotel as we were traveling with our toy poodle. The room was clean and quiet. Great experience overall. TV worked great. Breakfast was provided by way of prepackaged danish and coffee.
I stayed here a few times and the rooms are clean and maintained The staff is friendly. The hotel is quiet and the rooms have all the amenities that are necessary. There are plenty of food options near by. Will stay again.
Stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The price was great and the room was really clean. Manager present during the stay and was extremely nice and helped me find local eats/ what was open during this time. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (don't expect much on this part since they are following Covid rules and regulations) however it was nicely presented. Housekeeper was extremely kind and gave us extra towels when we asked for them. Everything/Everyone was nice, would stay here again!
Quiet hotel away from highway. Staff is extremely friendly. And they actually have breakfast yogurt cereal orange juice milk muffins danishes granola bars will definitely choose to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
I stood at this Sh$t hole of a hotel for 2 days. Employees (front desk, housekeeping) Don't wear their masks! The Rooms are filthy and guests (95% of them didn't have masks on either and nobody on staff enforces this rule which puts everyone at risk, especially me and my wife who are both HIGH RISK for Covid-19) We had to purchase disinfectant and I cleaned and sprayed the room myself because my child who's 9 battles with ptsd and sensory issues and I didn't want to make her feel uneasy. I did all I could do to avoid confrontation and shared my issues with the front desk respectfully and also stated how the microwave had no outlet Near it to plug in. They told me a manager wouldn't be back till next week! They didn't offer me another room, points, didn't offer my money back, nothing! I called up best western customer service, they didn't do a thing either! This ironically was my very first stay with Best western and will be my LAST! This place is horrible and you may get a cheaper rate, but there's a clear reason why! Oh and theirs no bagged breakfast. It's 50 cent danishes, budget muffins, and that's it! Stay away!!
Overall not a bad place to stay. I thought it was priced right. Unfortunately, we thought we booked online directly with Comfort Inn. That was not the case and it wound up costing us $43 more under the guise of “extra taxes”, service fees. Beware!
We are on a road trip and stopped at Comfort Inn on our way . Great price . Lady at the front desk was very friendly. Room was clean with comfortable beds , TV , fridge , closet . Plenty of lights and silent AC . Full breakfast. Would stay here again .
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Standard room, clean and sufficient, but with several little things wrong- alarm clock was dead, remote control for the TV did not work, shampoo/conditioner only enough for one person, only one bath towel for each person. The front desk personnel were very friendly but unable to fix or replace the remote control or the alarm clock. On our second day, housekeeping failed to restock our coffee and our toiletries, so I "helped myself" from the housekeeping cart. Breakfast was good.
Excellent hotel to just relax.quite central to all attractions.excellent locations. receptionist was exceptional always happy to help. Arrived late evening good staff. Clean rooms bathroom good breakfast good. Coffee all day ,staff was very welcoming.
If your traveling on I-81 and need a place to sleep, shower and get back on the road you cant beat this Comfort Inn. No it's not a luxury resort, but the room was clean and quiet and inexpensive. Check in, check out was easy no problems. Room was clean bed comfortable. Great selections on the continental breakfast which was very good. Free wi-fi is a plus. Good choice for an overnight stop when traveling. Would definitely stay here again if I happened to be in the area.
My #1 priority is a hotel that is clean and I considered this hotel to meet that priority but there were some "little things" that should have been addressed by the hotel - door safety latch was broken and could not be latched, drawer pull on nightstand was not attached, no suitcase holder or place to put a suitcase and a few other small things that should be replaced. However, based on the fact that it was clean, breakfast was satisfactory, the pre-paid room rate was very good and the location, I would consider staying here again.
