Rooms very nice, updated, clea, allow dogs, staff exceptionally accommodating. We booked because of hot breakfast included hoping to save some money and being fed before hitting Panorama ski hill. Upon check in found there was no hit breakfast because fire in kitchen. Bare bones continental offered in its place. I do not lije continental because it is all carbs and sweets which I do not do well on. We were not infirmed before arrival there would be NO hot breakfast. In fact upon check in we checked website and it still said hot breakfast included. However, management did lower our room rates.Loved the staff though and rooms were great! Because of non breakfast I have to lower my rating for vake
My quick stay @ the Best western in Invermere was good Friendly staffsBreakfast could be a little better, more fresh option.Room was simple but clean.Quick Check in and out The hotel was pretty quiet.
My wife and I stayed at your hotel and were very disappointed by our experience. We originally booked for 2 nights, but left after just 1 night to go elsewhere. We booked the Best Western based on a number of promises, none of which were delivered: - Dog friendly: It is not. We were told that we were unable to leave our dog unattended in the room, even in a crate. This meant that we were unable to go to dinner, go out to snowboard the local ski hill, or visit the Radium Hot Springs, all of which were in our vacation plans. Basically everyone coming to Invermere in Winter is there to ski or visit the hot springs. If we can't leave our dog in the room, we are unable to do these things. - Hot breakfast: There was no hot breakfast available in the hotel. We brought this forward to management and were told that there was nothing they could do, even through a discount to compensate for the lack of breakfast. We understand that a kitchen fire prevented the hot breakfast, but management should compensate us for this if the selling feature of the hotel is no longer offered. - Hot tub: The website advertises a hot tub, but it was completely closed down. This was very disappointing as the website misleads visitors who would book elsewhere due to the lack of hot tub in the winter. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay here due to the lack of amenities which were promised on your website but never delivered. The hotel is selling customers on key features which our vacations rely on, but not delivering on any of it. There are many other hotels in the area for significantly less when compared with the actual lack of amenities offered at your hotel.
This is a dated Best Western with a comfortable bed but otherwise dated furniture, dated bathroom fixtures and noisy HVAC systems. Despite all that, the room does feel clean. Our stay was unpleasant mainly due to a couple reasons: A) The heating unit was spotty which caused our family to have a bad night sleep. Although we have set the thermostat to 20c “auto” & “heat”, the super loud system wasn't able to maintain the room temperature. The noisy system was first too hot, then it was way too cool. Eventually we had to shut it all off and rely on the blankets to keep warm in December. B) The breakfast was also very disappointing. Although we paid for a room that comes with "hot breakfast" as per the Best Western website (which was supposed to be “hot eggs, hot breakfast meat, other hot items”) due to a kitchen fire. For compensation, the hotel offered us a continental breakfast instead. This is like saying although someone has paid for a 3-course meal, they were only served the soup and salad as there were no entrée left and yet has to pay the full prize. C) Customer service was non-existing at this location. When we brought these issues up to the front desk manager, Stacey, she insisted that the rate we got was already discounted ($165 with taxes for a 2-queen room) and even though it doesn't say there were no hot breakfast on the website, there was nothing else she can do. She tried to be professional but did not listen nor empathize with us. She only repeated that there was nothing she can control about a kitchen fire (which we understand but there was something she can control which includes apologizing and giving us a discount to make things right).
We were just here for one Saturday night and it was unfortunate that there had recently been a fire in the kitchen so breakfast was very limited - we skipped it and ate hot food elsewhere. The downtown location was good. The room was nice and the bed and pillows very comfortable and we both slept very well. We were on the middle of three floors of accommodation though and there was some noise from kids running around early in the morning, it wasn't too loud but it would be a good idea to ask for a room on the top floor.
Staff were nice. Requested top floor and that was honored. The lady on Front Desk on October 30th was really nice and was personable. Price is great during shoulder season. Only thing that kinda bugged me was when I went down the wrong hallway to use the washroom (I mistakenly down the hallway towards the kitchen) the server or manager (male) talked down to me like I was trying to steal something or cause a problem. He ended being friendly when serving us but from someone in the hotel business that is not how you talk to your guests. Food nonetheless was great so this would not discourage me from returning to the hotel or restaurant.
This hotel has been around for a long time. The rooms are nicely appointed and the staff are very friendly. The key to this place is it is right in the middle of town. Everything is a short walk. November is slow season in town so it's nice and quiet compared to the crazy summer time!!
My wife, Brenda, and I were a few days into our annual late-season vacation when we came upon Invermere. We somehow found our way to the Best Western at the end of the main street. The place looked pretty nice and we decided to stay two nights. Not only was the room incredible (on the third floor, overlooking the street) but the location of the hotel could not have been any better. Aside from a day trip to Radium Hot Springs (the city, not the pools) we did everything on foot as all we needed was nearby. The CIBC was virtually next door, coffee shops and other interesting shops were within two blocks. I went to see a KIJHL hockey game as the local arena was just around the corner. We even enjoyed the Ocktoberfest celebration that took place a few steps away from our room - and we had not been aware of until we checked in. Oh, and then there's the breakfast room. We purposely stay at hotels that provide a breakfast. This one had an actual kitchen that was making everything from scrambled eggs to sausage, hash browns and pancakes. This is going to be a tough breakfast room to beat and we'll be forever comparing our visits to this one. We will most certainly come back! Thanks!

The you for the great review, we look forward to your return.
I stay at a lot of hotels every year and every once in a while you come a cross one that offers exceptional value. the rooms here are what you might expect for an older hotel but they are clean and comfortable! In the morning when you go down for breakfast you will find a shining light in the lobby. The breakfasts here are flavorful, fresh and plenty to go around! She goes the extra mile while preparing for her guests. Make sure you let her know how much she is appreciated!

After our stay at the Best Western Invermere Inn back in 2015, we decided to return to the 'scene of the crime' at good ol' BW Invermere, to celebrate the 90th birthday of my bride of 58 years. She wanted nothing more than to be able to - once again - enjoy the warm comforts of the Radium Hot Springs there, and to also return to one of our favorite Inns in British Columbia.Once again it was a pleasure to find the Front Desk Manager, Georgena Loucks, still running a smooth operation with her excellent staff of:Jazel, Joni, Delphine, as well as Maintenance man Carey. What made our return to Invermere even more special, was the chance to re-connect with General Manager Stacey Smart, who has been at the helm of this well managed ship for 28 years. We cannot say enough for this terrific crew; it was, once again, a real pleasure to return.
This is a great safe place to stay. It is very clean. Never had any major issues here. The people are a bit different. But that is the Kootneys and Inveremere. Good trusting people none the less. Breakfast is also always good. I do reccomend this place fully. The AC is called Enginered Air here. So classsic 70s!

Thank you the review, We look forward to see you again soon.
We stayed here with pre-teens for one night. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and great pillows. It was nice to walk around the area after a long drive. Location is within walking distance to Lake Invermere. Hotel staff were polite and even recommended a family pizzeria close by. (Peppi's Pizzeria 5 *) There is only a small hot tub on site and exercise room isn't the best, but tonnes of activities to do outside so no concerns there. The only downside to this hotel is the adjacent pub which patrons were excessively drunk and wondering the parking lot and relieving themselves besides vehicles. I did yell at them from the window and they moved along. Don't let that deter you from checking out this great place.

Great Location, walking distance for everything, the streets were filled with wonderful little shops and on Saturday there was a market. Great bakery right across the street. We got in later in the evening and a nice little restraint around the corner and across the street was open with the best curry soup I have ever had.
When I booked the room I asked for a lower floor because of a bad knee. I was put on the second floor. This was was ok because there was elevator. I went to bring in my luggage. The trolley, oh my the luggage trolley. One tire was so flat it was ready to fall off the rim. The other trolly had a lift done to it on the back side. So what ever you put on this one would slide off. Needless to say it was an adventurer getting our luggage to our room on the second floor. Thank god the elevator was working. I also requested a refrigerator. Which I noticed all the rooms had a microwave and refrigerators. When I got into the room I check the frig to find out it was turned down to its warmest setting. I had to find the dial which was behind the frig and turn this down so it would cool down. What good is a warm frig? As I am a light sleeper I tend to wake every few hours. So I go outside a couple times a night. I used the elevator about 3 times this night going up and down. No problems. Well come Morning I go down for breakfast using the elevator. After breakfast I notice the housekeeping staff have started for the day. I go the elevator to go to my room. There is now an Out Of Order sign posted. Well this isn't good. I use the stairs to get to my room as I have no other choice. As I get to the 2nd floor I see one of the housekeepers get in the elevator that is supposedly Out Of Order. As I bring my luggage down via the stairs I witness the staff using the elevator that is supposed to do be Out Of Order. The elevator that I used all night with no problems. So, this makes me think. The staff must put the elevator Out Of Order for their use until the rooms are clean instead of letting guests us it to check out. I still haven't mentioned that this place has a lounge attached and when I checked it in it was going full blasted. This is more of a young people place. Rooms are dated but comfortable enough. Heaven forbid if you are a shorter person as you will never reach the microwave that is above 5 feet above the floor. With all this I was not impressed. I am not sure if I will return. If you are an older person with hip or knee problems I would not recommend this place.
It's okay for one night. There were stains on the sheets but nothing too bad. Front staff were nice enough. I wouldn't make this a place to stay for a long trip but it was okay to stop and rest awhile.
Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the walls needed new paint, repairs. It just needs some freshening up. Some repairs looked quick and cheap. Our air-conditioner was noisy, so I turned it off to sleep (forgot to tell the front desk). The breakfast was good, with freshly made pancakes (not those ones from a machine). There was a good selection of items. The staff was friendly. If I return to Invermere, I might try another place just to compare quality, value for the dollar.
My husband stayed here with a buddy whilst on a bike trip & loved it so much he insisted I try it too! We were there over a weekend so were concerned it might be packed. It was busy but what a wonderful hotel! Very clean, great staff who were so helpful (one even lent us her personal phone charger as we had forgotten ours). The breakfast was outstanding & I can't wait to visit again. We loved the microwave & fridge in our room. The air con worked very well & our room was quiet despite it facing the main road.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The only exception was that there were small ants, looked like fire ants, in the bathroom and crawling along the tv cabinet. The breakfast was fantastic and the food area was spotless.
Easy check in and out. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Bathroom toilet is dated but works well. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of hot choices. Lots of parking and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great 3-floor only hotel, well located in the historic heart of this welcoming, flower plenty-full little resort town next to a lake with a beach and facing the mountains: great attentive staff, super great and tasty full breakfast, large clean rooms with access to a next door pub/restaurant, all with affordable prices. All in all, a very comfortable stay, worth coming back to if nearby!
The rooms are bright and cheerful the beds were very comfortable staff was great the breakfast was super. The only problem I had was the second night we were there it sounded like something was coming through the ceiling, as the people above us were very noisy at 3am. The location of this hotel is simple beautiful, surrounded by mountains. You are only a 15 minute walk away from the lake that has a beautiful sandy beach and water slides right on the lake. Best place in my opinion to stay for your next getaway.
I stopped here for one night only, and enjoyed my time at the inn. You can't fault the Best Western motel group for good customer service, attractive public interiors and bedrooms, and 100% cleanliness. Yes...the chain is not on the cheap side, but I felt that I was well-rewarded for the price I paid. I was tired when I checked in (I didn't have a reservation) from having driven up and down British Columbia's countless mountain ranges, passes and deep valleys! Because of my automobile membership, I got a fairly good price for my room, and the receptionist (a very pleasant and drily ironic and humourous French-speaking---European, not Quebecois---woman) gave me a top 3rd-floor room with a wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains. Before I left the next morning, I had a filling complimentary-included breakfast. Unfortunately, on the morning when I checked out, there was just one overly-worked and stressed-out woman managing the front desk, plus serving in the kitchen and dining-room! She managed well, though---although that was the first time I'd ever encountered an absurdist situation that involved someone saying to me, "Would you mind waiting a couple of minutes before I check you out so I can go into the kitchen and flip the pancakes and then bring them out to the hot buffet table?" Obviously, I was more than happy to wait a bit! This Best Western was a good, much-needed oasis for me, being located in the attractive town of Invermere close to a lake and directly on the main street.
I want to echo another reviewer and say first of all that the free breakfast is outstanding. I am accustomed to the chafing dish scrambled egg and bacon offerings at similar hotels, and was pleasantly surprised at the extra touches here -- everything was very tasty and freshly prepared. The room had comfortable bedding, with an added bonus of a digital cable terminal offering many more TV selections than most other hotels I have stayed at recently. The staff at the front desk and in the adjoining Copper City Saloon were genuinely friendly.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Large breakfast dining area. Pretty much a chip off the old Best Western block that sticks to the formula and tradition of making very comfortable and reliably pleasant hotels. Would definitely recommend and would plan to return here in the future.

Invermere, BC was our destination for a day trip, we went for the Fairmont Hot Springs and Radium Hot Springs. We had to chase down the front desk clerk to get checked in, seems she has many jobs. Even though we had asked for a room on the upper floors, were given a ground floor even though the hotel was not busy. We are not comfortable with ground floor, so went to see if we could get an upper floor. Once again, no front desk staff. Stayed in the assigned room, since the room was clean, with good bedding, pillows and towels, The hotel has no restaurant but the Copper City Saloon is attached and accessible .the hotel. It is a bar and not family friendly for those with underage children. Next morning --- no hot water!! Reason -- seems hot water tank had crapped out -- since it was Sunday, had no idea when it would be repaired or replaced. After reading other reviews, seems other guests have also experienced water issues on previous visits!! Although the front lobby had more than enough water. Buckets all over for all the water leaks from the overnight rain. Breakfast was good -- hot and plentiful. Check-out, had to find the front desk staff again. This hotel is in need of some very necessary TLC. Hopefully it will happen, as it's location if perfect, so close to so many tourist destinations --- hot springs -- golf -- hiking, etc.
I was expecting a standard hotel, but the best western inveremere was an unexpected delight! The staff is excellent, very warm and friendly, they even gave us a crib board for a late night game!! The complementary breakfast was hands down, best free meal I've ever had. Delicious scrambled with mixed veggies and ham, breakfast sausages, VERY good seasoned hash browns. I would expect to pay $15 at another restaurant for the same selection. Thank you BWI
This hotel has excellent front desk staff. They are very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are generally spacious, comfortable and quite clean. The room air conditioners are generally noisy. Breakfast is help yourself buffet style and is quite busy. It's not bad, but it's not a restaurant. The hot tub is nice and probably excellent if you were skiing at Panorama during the day. This hotel has no restaurant but you can walk to the attached bar/restaurant. However, if you have young children, you won't be allowed to sit there and instead will be served in the breakfast area (probably by yourselves).
The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with scrambled eggs yogurt fruit and Sausage. This was a buffet style but with real dishes glasses and cups as well as knives and forks. The room was wonderful with a couch and coffee table as well as a desk.
The city water pipe broke while we were in this hotel and the compensation for this was pitiful. We had no water all day until 9 pm that night. Our kids were not happy that there was no water to shower after skiing for 10 hours! And had I not asked, they would not have taken anything off the bill. After being in the room for 4 nights, they gave $30 off!! What a joke!
Great location, helpful staff.we haven't been in a B W before but we will Deff return if they all have such friendly staff. Friendly lady even made me French toast for breakfast.Service, service with a friendly smile.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was so pleasant and helpful. I experienced a shortage of hot water for my shower, but I would still stay again. The staff was so friendly and its across the street from my favorite cafe, so its a perfect location.
Located conveniently close to the arena in Invermere; we stayed here for a hockey tournament. Restaurant food was good; hot breakfast was decent quality, but selection was limited. Restaurant seems under-staffed; front desk personnel doubled as wait staff. Overall a good, family-friendly place to stay, close to amenities.
Perfect destination location from Calgary. Shop local, dining and skiing, Hot Springs and beautiful scenery in the East Kootenay Region. Business or leisure with free wifi, free breakfast (Full) laundry,
We are staying here for a hockey tournament and I am very impressed. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The desk staff is lovely, friendly and accommodating. Food was good from the bar, and they accommodated the kids by letting us eat in the breakfast area. Breakfast was included, and more than the typical continental. The location is perfect for our needs and I would stay again.
We were in the area and decided to stay for the night. A great experience all round - pleasant and helpful staff, good clean, quiet room with good breakfast choices. Two queen size beds in the room. I highly recommend.
Had a business meeting in town. Stayed one night. The room was quiet and clean. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and very helpful. The Copper Saloon attached was also quiet and the burger was delicious. I would definitely stay again.
We left home to relax. We felt welcome by staff from the start and enjoyed our two day stay. Food at the bar was good as were the beverages. We are definitely returning to Invermere in the near future and will be staying at this facility. It has become our "getaway" spot.
See above - this hotel really needs a facelift both inside and out. Stayed 10 days in Village Park Inn (Calgary) and the difference was huge. I realize the Best Western in Calgary was a Best Western PLUS but I was a bit disappointed in the hotel in Invermere (slightly run down)
I wish that I could give this a 4.5, everything was great with one exception. The hotel allows pets and there was a yappy dog two doors away from us. The hotel is in the downtown area and was within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. The bar/restaurant in the hotel was good and we heard absolutely no noise from the bar that was busy on a Saturday night. Front desk staff were great when we checked in and out, they were sisters and very nice to deal with.
Best motel we've had so far. Even had a small sofa to relax in instead of just hard chairs. Tired of travelling so we ordered pizza from next door & ate in room. Only negative was we couldn't get onto the internet so receptionist came up to help us. We got connected but still couldn't sign onto Yahoo. Town pretty quiet, not many stores or restaurants close by were open. Breakfast was good.
When we got to our room, we found that the toilet was broken and my husband had to repair it as there was no maintenance people at the hotel at that time. Later that evening, we were in the hot tub outside, when we and another couple got locked out in that area. The next morning, I went to make coffee and the coffee maker had a coffee pod in it from a previous guest in the room. Other than these incidents, the stay was comfortable and the breakfast each morning was very tasty, especially the deluxe scrambled eggs.
This hotel has seen significant updated that make it appealing for a stay giving it good value compared to the pricey options in the area. It is clean and modern with newer A/C units and excellent breakfast.
Well as we get in the room the smell makes me dizzy so we have to get out of the room and let the ventilation run and when we get back still the smell still there so I had no choice I used my Cologne I sprayed everywhere and I did it twice so it helps a little bit
Decor is a bit dated but the bed is comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for wandering around the quaint shops in downtown Invermere. Would stay there again
Great little hotel in the heart of Invermere, perfect location for walking everywhere. The complimentary breakfast was great. The beds, bedding and towels are excellent quality, The room was very clean, could of used some updates in the décor, but overall very impressed and would definitely stay again.
The hotel is looking a little dated and we had some concern as it seemed you can hear every normal conversation from the hallway. But you could not hear anything from any of the rooms and the guests staying were generally quiet and respectful. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. A very nice and free hot breakfast in a clean and comfortable area. There is a hot tub but it almost seems to have been an after thought - stuck on a concrete pad at the back of the hotel and surrounded by a fence. But it worked so no big issue.
Had a room with 2 Queen beds which where very good as were the linens. The room is a bit old fashion, very basic as is the bathroom but everything worked well and the front desk is very kind and helpfull. The breakfast is more than basic and the breakfastroom hasn't been vacuumed during our stay which means the carpet looked really durty especially under the tables. The location is right downtown and there is a very good restaurant just nearby the hotel. We were on the street side and had no noise at all during night and the windows are well isolated.
Staff was helpful at arrival and throughout our stay. Hotel is somewhat dated and does not embrace the natural beauty of the location. Needs an update. In saying that, the room was fine, with clean bedding and bathroom. Breakfast was adequate with wine variety and the staff kept it well stocked.
We were impressed by this pet-friendly hotel. Although it is on a small lot and is plain in appearance, the service was very good. Employees were helpful and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast is more varied than at similar chain hotels. What we particularly liked was that there has been an effort to reduce use of disposable containers at the breakfast - "real" dishes and cutlery are used. Many shops/cafes nearby make it a pleasant area to stroll through.
Year after year we enjoy seeing the wonderful ladies at Best Western Invermere, always so friendly making our stay comfortable and a home away from home. Hotel is clean and close to the Kinsmen Beach and right downtown. They remember us and welcome us (and our dog) back every summer!!
BW in Invermere is a great representative for the brand. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The facility includes a weight room with an outdoor hot tub, guest laundry room, and a really good breakfast presentation. Rooms are clean and comfy and are an excellent value for a tourist destination. Definitely a positive choice when looking for accommodations in this area.
We stayed 3 nights here and our room was well furnished with comfortable beds and a view of the mountains in the distance. We experienced some difficulties with our reservation beforehand, but all was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. We used the hot tub which was great, and the Copper Saloon which was ordinary and where we would not go again except to play pool. Breakfast was fine. The front desk staff and maintenance man were all extremely helpful.
Arrived tired and late...past 10pm on a Friday night. No Parking within a block of hotel. Went to check in and could literally not hear the lady at the front desk due to the very loud music being played in the saloon within the hotel. She assures us that we wouldn't hear the music from our room. Wrong. Not only could we hear it we also heard loud music (rap) coming from bar across the steeet. This went on until 2am. No pool. Hot tub was covered and not available. Fitness center was a joke. Breakfast was the best thing about this stay.
We enjoyed the location of this Hotel. The building is aging but has been kept up quite well. A mystery water flooding off the roof into the parking lot on a day when it hadn't rained for a week and it was 32 degrees out. Weight room had no weights but 4 tread mills/ orbitals, that's all. Hot tub is unappealing in a fenced off concrete section of parking lot. Breakfast and serving area are above average for free breakfasts. Room was clean with nice bed and A/C worked well. Not the quietest machine in the world but it worked. A blessing in 32 degree heat. Staff were pleasant in the few interactions we had. This hotel/motel is 5 out of 10 on my scale but bumped to a 6 for being in Invermere. We love Invermere and the whole valley.
We stayed for four nights as a family in two adjoining rooms. Our check-in was efficient and the initial greeting friendly. Parking was easy, either straight outside or additional parking at the rear. The rooms were of a good size. Our only initial issue was the broken window in our room, i.e. could not be closed, but this was fixed the next day. The first morning we were on our way to breakfast when one of the hotel staff started talking to us about ‘our' complaint email “that even my boss has read” about a dog being in the hotel. Although there was a dog, we did not send the email but the lady insisted on finding it even though we were keen to get to breakfast. Eventually, she did find the email and confirmed it was sent by another guest. Whilst no apology came, we did get an explanation over why she thought it was from us. Even after that, I still wasn't convinced we'd been forgiven for the email we hadn't sent! Breakfast was OK, i.e. there was a choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurts and a cooked selection, ‘though no bacon. :-( Some guests cleared their own table and we joined in this routine ‘though it wasn't clear if expected for hotel guests to do so. Certainly a first for me, though! :-) One of the amenities mentioned for the hotel is the ‘Restaurant and bar/lounge'. We visited the Copper City Saloon (the bar/lounge) as a family as both of our sons were keen to play pool. We then discovered that under 19s were not allowed in the bar. It certainly seems like more of a locals bar as opposed to part of the hotel facilities. The gym is small containing four or five pieces of equipment (no free weights) but is adequate. The hot tub is a nice touch just outside of the gym area. Our room contained a fan (not sure if air/con) which was good at keeping the room cool but somewhat noisy (think small helicopter taking off). Cleanliness in the rooms and the hotel generally was good. All in all, the hotel is a good, fairly inexpensive base centrally located in Invermere.
Lovely new decor in rooms and excellent free breakfast..not your run of the mill frozen bagel or muffin. The eggs had veggies and even baked beans on the side ! We stayed one night and had a very restful sleep on the bed...very comfortable.
The room was okay. Nothing above average. The staff were friendly. But the complimentary breakfast was nothing to brag about. The breakfast sausage wasn't great and the scrambled eggs were a watery slop.
A good hotel. Friendly staff & clean rooms. Prices are always higher in the summer, so value for stay was appropriate. was a busy weekend but didn't affect service. Hot tub area is limited and not overly attractive. it was closed for the half of my stay.
The hotel is nice & in a great location- close to many restaurants and right in downtown radium. However, the front staff were incredibly unhelpful and rude, especially Marlis. Every time we encountered her or asked a question she made no effort to be kind or help. Next time we will be staying at the fairmont, as they always have nice, friendly, helpful staff and it's the same price.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Always there ready to help and make our stay were very comfortable. Also, they asked me if I had a membership with BW rewards. I did not have it before. So She tells me all the benefits to be a member and I agreed to become a member. She did the process right away. It was so easy.
We stayed a the hotel over the July long weekend. I really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, everything you would need is provided in the room (iron, ironing board, coffee maker, min fridge, microwave etc. ). Bonus is the delicious free breakfast and not just continental, there were two kinds of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages and bacon, muffins, cereals, toast...beverages... so worth it. And fee WiFi which worked great. There is a jacuzzi outside, and a couple of lounge chairs for the hotel guest to use, we didn't so I can't really comment. Also a little gym that I did use, everything worked great except there is no AC in the room, so it get a bit hot and I could not make the TV work. Other than that the staff was pleasant and we were happy with our stay, and will be back :)
Hotel is very nice and has a secluded feel. The restaurant next door has great food with a very nice waitstaff. Staff were very nice. Good off-street parking for our motorcycles. The room was nice, bed comfy. A/C needed service (noisy), but didn't bother us too much.
Walking distance to the Main Street. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good parking. Would stay here again. Loved Invermere!! You have to try an iced cappuccino at Gerri's Gelato made with coffee gelato. Peppi's Pizza was great, beach was fantastic.
This is a special hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet with comfy beds, quiet, efficient air conditioner, flat screen tv, clean with lots of amenities. The hot breakfast was the real thing with scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, and flavorful hot coffee. Parking is easy with plenty of spaces front and back. Easy drive to Lake Louise and Banff. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Located in a cute Canadian village just off the 95/93 highway.
Convenient location for taking in all that the town has to offer. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast could be more substantial but as it is free the price is right. Overall had a great stay.
Perfect stay at the Best Western Invermere. Room was comfy and clean. Staff were welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and hotel was within walking distance of anything you could need including the beach! We are already planning on returning in the fall!
A good effort is put in here. Room was clean. Beds were in good order. Lots of towels. The breakfest has to be by far the best breakfest I've had when it comes to included breakfests. Had tonnes of very fresh options. If anything the only thing I'd suggest is to add hashbrowns, fruitloops & orange juice in the bottle as its fountian orange juice. I would stay here again no doubt.
The receptionist is very helpful and the breakfast is great! Very close to the lake and not too far from the Radium Hot Springs. I found out too that the community environment is well maintained and people are very courteous. Very good stay experience.
Large comfortable room with small fridge & even a microwave, and guest laundry. Glasses rather than plastic cups would be nice. Breakfast included is outstanding with full hot buffet. Downtown but quiet and walking distance to everything. Don't miss Kinsmen Beach and gentle walking trail. Hotel has a hot tub/spa & patio. Copper City Pub attached with good burger & beer. WiFi a bit shaky. Front desk not helpful when I had an issue.
We were very impressed overall. Room was well appointed with a queen bed and sofa, fridge, microwave. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet and very clean. Continental breakfast was the best I have seen. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, ham, beans, cereals, muffins, bread etc. Perfect location. Easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants.
Just excellent. Unable to fault, the staff we're extremely helpfull and courtious. We asked for something which was only mino, when we came back to our room it was done. The price of the room in comparson to other hotels was cheaper and of a higher quality.
Came for a soccer tournament. This hotel may not be a five star hotel but deserves a 5 star rating. With a modern clean look combined with very comfortable beds ( and great pillows!) and spacious clean rooms. In room fridge and coffee maker Excellent breakfast included. Staff and service exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.
I come out to laker Windermere each spring to celebrate the breakup of ice and my birthday Each year the pictures change and I appreciate the views of lake and mountains. The service the staff at Bw Invermere inn was excellent and I keep coming back. Congratulations to Stacy and her staff. See you in September.
service was great, room was excellent and ready upon our arrival. everything was exceptional. will definitely go there and stay again. the continental breakfast was good with a good selection of hot food and cold food
The room was pleasant enough but we had a plan to relax, enjoy the hot tub and were disapointed and then to find out the quality of the water was not good that weekend put a damper on things as well. The staff was very accommodating and apologetic.
The staffs are nice and would tell you any issues early on. The water wasn't clean when we checked-in because the city decided to do some water flushing. The hotel price doesn't come cheap on a holiday. But at least they could have compensated it with the blankets and towels; which is not the case here. They looked off white; a sign that it's already old and needs to be replaced... Food is okay.
Easy access and available shopping, food, restaurant right there. Super breakfast and eating area - great for business meetings and relaxing. Lounge and bar are attached and great people, food and drink available within the hotel.
I was surprisingly pleased with hotel. Only thing missing was a pool. Rooms were nicely decorated, clean & beds were very comfy. Breakfast was great - more elaborate than the usual continental breakfast.
My fiancé and I stayed here for a couple days for a ski trip. The service was good, the room was fine , the breakfast was above par and the outdoor hot tub was hot. Also the price was very reasonable considering all the amenities. The bar downstairs was happening (if that's your thing). It's a 15 minute drive from the radium hot springs and close to panorama mountain resort. Very happy to stay here, would again.
There was a hockey tournament going on in invermere, we where woken up several times throughout the night by kids running up and down the hallways till 3 am, head board broke while sleeping and when I asked for a discount they said they would give me $50 off the room charge and never did, will not stay at this hotel again.
We recently stayed at the BW, as part of a business trip. A large group of us lived there for a month and the staff made it feel like home. Upon first glance the BW may not feel as fancy as the Copper Point, but staff and location make up the difference. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, from the hotel desk operators to cleaning staff, to bar staff and maintenance workers. The owners Margaret and husband Bryce along with their daughter who manages the hotel will do their best to make you feel comfortable in your stay. The rooms were clean and came with a microwave, mini fridge, and cable tv. I was sad I couldn't order the on demand movies but these days with everyone travelling with tablets and laptops I didn't need it. The beds were comfortable and the staff was accommodating in my request for a lower density pillow. They even had toothpaste for me which I forgot. Living there for a month it was great we had access to laundry that was a reasonable $4 to wash and dry. We also had a good breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage ham and beans. Perfectly acceptable and accessible for early mornings. We also had the pub for great meals, drinks, pool and the friendly town hall atmosphere. Perfect for a drink or two and charging the bill to your room! The kitchen was also kind to adjust the menu or make something upon request due to personal or dietary accommodations. The little town on Invermere is so sweet and staying downtown; a short walk to the beach or shops is perfect! Most places close early during the week and some are closed Sundays but staying right in town is a must! Leave the car parked and enjoy this little town for all it has to offer! We will definitely be back to stay in the summer, and did I mention how much they love dogs!! Bring your furry friends because this hotel is really more like a family!
While the building and the rooms are a bit dated and smaller than the usual Best Western standard, I did enjoy my stay here. The employees were very nice, breakfast was good, and Invermere is a nice little town when you're on your way to Kootenay National Park.
Checkin was good untill I was told I had to pay an extra 15$ a day to stay with my future husband in the room. We were staying for 7 day's and had to pay even though we were a couple staying in the safe room. Second of all we were dissatisfied with the fact that they only cleaned our room every second day. Not that we needed our towels changed every day but our garbage could have been taken out daily and our bed made instead of us making the bed. Third of all we stayed on the first floor and this is where the bar is located and on the weekend it was a UFC weekend and the bar was very loud. We could hear the ppl that were at the bar woke me up out of a dead sleep. So if you are going to be staying at this hotel be sure to ask for a room on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor and on the far end of the hotel.
Conveniently located in Invermere, close to Radium Hot Springs and Kootenay National Park. Easy walk to Invermere shops. Windmere Lake nearby. Excellent breakfast selection. Good overall value. Recommend.
Although I rated this hotel average, it IS better than average. The service was good, the hot breakfast was very good, the hotel and our room was very clean, and the location in Invermere is excellent: This is the 2nd time we have stayed. In truth, the hotel just needs to be updated. The furnishings and decor is a bit dated, and there was a slight musty odor upon entering the room. Will we stay there again? Absolutely! Would we recommend the hotel to someone? Without hesitation. Oh, the bed was excellent.
We arrived with no reservation, and check was still super quick and friendly. There is construction right now at the front entrance, so the side door is the way in and out. The room was clean and comfortable (magic words in overnight accommodations). It was all we needed on the way back from a little road trip. Breakfast is included, and was a nice touch.
We totally enjoyed our stay! Great location in the wonderful downtown area afforded an easy walk for dinner and gelato. Downtown Invermere is so nice and inviting...gorgeous flowers on each corner and cute shops. Our room was wonderful...modern, shiny clean and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after dinner as well. Great breakfast to start the day. Very nice!!
Located within walking distance from Invermere lake, this hotel is a lovely place for family/couples/singles. It has an excellent dining room, a vibrant bar and the hot breakfast is super awesome!! The property is old though housekeeping is great.
Billing errors and an attempt at having them fixed by staff, ignored. We stayed with friends in a separate room next to us which was nice. The window crank was broken in our room and the window didn't fully open, rather than complain and have them move us to another room as I wanted to maintain the proximity of our friends, I said nothing at the time. Note to self, complain and never stay with BW Invermere again.
This hotel was just what we needed. It's a typical Best Western in terms of decor, which is fine. The rooms were clean. The best thing about it is the location, which is great for wandering the town. Art galleries, gift shops, shoe stores and a cute toy store are all just a fews steps away. A perfectly relaxing weekend stay.
Very pleasant environment and people! Hotel was very nice and clean! The beds were very comfy! Had a restaurant and complimentary breakfast! Food was excellent!! The hotel workers were polite and prefessional! Great service!!
Very friendly and welcoming staff. We stayed here on two occasions, and the rooms we had were very different.. The layout of each was the same. The first room was very tired, and while it appeared that it had received some maintenance, the workmanship was awful. The second room was fresh and in good condition. The hotel is connected to a large saloon, in which you can enjoy a drink and eat excellent food. Great bartender. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All in all, it is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay.
Me and my bf stayed at this hotel and we loved it ! It was close to everything and the room was cozy and comfortable . Beds and room were great everything was clean . The breakfast in the morning was great as they have a couple choices the only thing is that if you don't eat pork then you are fairly limited . The only complaints we would have was that u could hear the people above us walking at time and since there is a pub in the hotel you could hear people outside being loud and it woke you up . Pub that in the hotel has great food as well so it was good dinner with pretty good portions and decently priced . Overall great hotel and it was definitely worth staying here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
This is a nice hotel. The accommodations were very good and the staff was very friendly. There was a very good and extensive breakfast which included pancakes and two kinds of scrambled eggs.. There is a tavern/restraurant attached.
The hotel was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great hot breakfast and awesome food in the pub. Pizza is fabulous. Nice hot tub. No complaints at all and would definitely stay again. Close to shopping and banks.
The Main room in the hotel was nice but the ceiling in the bathroom had mildew and the tiles had mildew. The Shower in the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned outside of the tub. This hotel while stated as pet friendly will not allow you to leave your pets in the room. I called ahead to confirm we had a room for pets and they confirmed but didn't inform me of any HOTEL specific policies that deviate from policies specific to best western. This ended up ruining my trip as we couldn't leave the dogs to go to lunch, dinner, hot springs or any non dog related actives we had planned. Kids we were running up and down the halls at 10pm but we couldn't keep animals in the room.
Invermere is a nice and usually quiet town. However, the two nights we stayed, it was noisy outside. We were awakened from our sleep. If we were to visit again, we would ask for a room away from the street. The hotel is comparable to other Best Western Hotels. The rooms are all clean and fairly comfortable. The bathroom could use a nightlight. A mirror is placed outside the bathroom such that the bathroom light is reflected towards the beds when the door is open. Complimentary breakfasts were comparable to other hotels in the chain. The food was good with a reasonable selection. Plenty of free parking is in the hotel lot and the street in front.
Very affordable. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was great on a hot day. It was nothing luxurious, but it had everything we needed for our 2 day stay and I have no complaints. The location is excellent - right downtown and not far from the beach. Very convenient to have a restaurant and liquor store attached. The younger girl with glasses (I forgot her name) at check-in was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The only negative thing I have to comment on is the older lady at check-out wasn't the slightest bit friendly (I have a feeling it was because we were younger because she was friendly to the older couple in front of us). Overall it was a nice stay and if were in the area again we will be back.
The staff was friendly and location is awesome. Just a quick drive till your down at the beautiful beach with an amazing lake! Breakfast is hot and complimentary, though we had the same things offered all 3 mornings we were there. But it was delicious and I'm not going to really complain about free hot breakfast that I didn't have to prepare! Only small complaint is the hottub was under maintenance for a duration of our 3 night stay. But all in all a good hotel.
This is a great location if you want to be right in downtown Invermere. We arrived about 7:30 PM on a Thursday and downtown was closed for the most part. The hotel is older however they have recently painted and updated the wallpaper. The room was a bit stale when when arrived so we turned on the fan and went for dinner. It was fine when we returned. The free breakfast is good.
We were to spend the night in Invermere at the Best Western after driving through Kootenay NP, assuming we would be several hours in the park and this would be a convenient stopping place. Wrong. We arrived just before noon. The hotel has a 24-hour cancellation policy, but we decided to ask if we could cancel anyway and drive on to Cranbrook. The lady at the checkin desk (Georgena Loucks) couldn't have been nicer. She not only allowed us to cancel without penalty, but arranged a reservation in Cranbrook. What a blessing she is to Best Western! We didn't get to see a room, but the lobby and breakfast area looked clean and well maintained. I would assume the rooms did as well. Thank you, Georgena!
Was pleasantly surprised!! Staff were good, rooms were clean, beds comfy. Lots of choices to go place but handy they had a bar right in the hotel. Close to everything & lake was walking distance. Would recommend.
Although the room decor was okay, the disinterested reception at check in, in the dark lobby, then the prison like elevator lobby and hallway (see pictures) all ruined our short stay. The bathroom was not as clean as could be. A silent, housekeeper glared at us as we had to step around their vacuum cleaner to get past. The breakfast was passable but just. To be fair, the reception at check out was friendly, but too late and did not make up for the owner's lack of interest in having an inviting decor. On the positive this hotel is only three block from the beach, and also right in downtown Invermere, walking distance to all the shops, galleries, and restaurants etc.
Just stayed one night. We arrived early, asked if it was possible to have room now. Front desk had the room ready for us in a hour. Nice room, good breakfast, Location is good, One can stroll down the shops or eat at the local restaurants
Stayed August 21st, 2016. Nice updated hotel, it's located in downtown Invermere, within walking distance of many of the shops. Staff at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. Stayed on the 3rd floor. Room was clean, king sized bed was comfy, the hotel was very quiet. Hot breakfast in the morning - sausage, eggs, baked beans, pancakes, toast, juice, coffee, etc. Very yummy. Pleasant stay, thank you!
Stopover on way back from Alaska. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Good pizza at saloon and also a nice liquor store on site with very reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitley return if in area.
Stayed three nights and was satisfied. The standard was much as you would expect from a Best Western. The room was well equipped, including fridge and microwave. The TV had a great array of available channels. The ac. worked well and was reasonably quiet. Be careful with the free wifi. The password etc. is handily printed on the key card and is case sensitive. Unfortunately the cards show two versions of the password as regards case and only one works. If yours does not, change the case of the Inn portion. The signal was adequate, but fairly weak and slow. The room was cleaned daily as expected, but the coffee cups were left for you to deal with and the crumbs I deposited on the night table were still there when we departed. There is a small fitness area with a few treadmill, step type machines and an outdoor hot tub with controls in the fitness room. The included hot breakfast was very good, cereal, pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs, ham, and other goodies. Refilling the trays tended to be a little slow, but they were eventually attended to. Front desk personnel were pleasant, helpful and efficient. It is situated at the end of main street within walking distance of all stores etc. Try the variety of the bakery directly opposite the hotel. We have recently also stayed at the Canterbury Inn, the other downtown accommodation, (see my recent review for comparison). Right now, for comfort, I would go for the Best Western, but if you are after economy, the Canterbury Inn is your best bet.
The Best Western is right downtown and close to the action. Rooms are very clean and updated. The breakfast buffet is amazing and one of the reasons we stay here time and time again. There is a bar attached to the hotel and a liquor store, which is very fun! Close to the beach and restaurants.
Great location right on Main Street close to the beach and all the stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was clean and it was quiet. The hotel was not as new as I enticipated but it was very clean. The breakfast was good, full breakfast from 6-10 am. It was a good stay, you can get an AMA or AAA discount too, which helps with the price.
My husband and I were on our 10th anniversary and we started with an Alaskan cruise followed by a train trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. It was a trip organized by our travel agent. We spent many nights at many hotels which included the Pan Pacific in Vancouver, the Banff Springs Hotel and the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. We had a couple of days in between train trips so we ventured to Invermere and booked into the Best western Inn. It was the best nights sleep I had the entire trip!! The beds are so soft, you melt into them. I am somewhat of an insomniac so this was the most outstanding part for me, however, I really enjoyed my stay there for many reasons. The complimentary breakfasts had everything that I wanted for a breakfast...differently cooked eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal... etc, the rooms are very roomy and very clean. The internet is the best of any of the places that we stayed. There is no problems getting online and you can even stream videos without any difficulties at any time of day...even peak use. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful when I needed a .The bar was on the other side of the hotel and I did not hear anything when I went to bed but the bar had the best pizza I have had in a while.
We stayed here with my family on my birthday and we really enjoyed and staff were very friendly and services were excellent.. We requested extra towels and they were very happy in serving us even when we got so hungry at the middle of the night and the staff helped us ordered yummy food????????thanks Best Western Invermere????????
the stay was comfortable and was in town close to all events I had to go to. room had fridge and micro wave if needed .breakfast was very good and nice environment ,hotel very clean and well kept.. would stay again.
So kind of an average BW experience. The hotel is a bit older, but many things (like room plumbing and carpeting in halls and room are nice. The rooms felt fresh and clean. The HVAC unit made all kinds of strange noises but maybe stabilized or maybe we fell asleep. (This is in room 313). Breakfast was so-so, but we found something to eat. Pancakes better than most steam table cakes and dear wife enjoyed the British idea (we guess) of serving baked beans. Bed was good. We slept well. Our late night greeter was an infectiously enthusiastic and genuine young lady named Melissa.
Just a great location in quiet downtown Invermere. Great restaurants nearby and a very good hotel. Really friendly and competent front end staff along with a above average inclusive breakfast makes this BW a winner. Two things: housekeeping has to do a better job as in replenishing toilet paper and Kleenex. Avoid room 204 if you are an early to bed type, as it just above the hot tub. Overall this is a winner.
The location is great. Short drive to the beach. Close to golf courses and nearby attractions. Just over an hour drive from Fort Steele and Kimberley attractions. A great hot breakfast. The internet worked well. The hotel was quiet and the beds comfortable. Invermere is a very sleepy town. Restaurants and ice cream shops close at 9 PM or earlier making late dinner options limited.
Better value nearby, not worth the price paid. No room upgrades available. Room decor not satisfying. Small bathrooms and not very clean . Breakfast items not comparable to other similar Best Western properties.
Very pleasant stay in newly renovated king room in the centre of town, adjacent to many unique shops and cafes and restaurants. Staff from all departments very friendly and made effort to make us feel welcome. Bed very comfortable. Quiet room, well appointed - with plug-ins easily accessible for electronics.
We were walk-ins and found the front desk person very kind and sharp. Good breakfast (free). Room clean and had microwave and frig. Great location downtown. I've stayed here several times, and will return in future.
Pricy for 1980's decor (lots of oak with yellowing varnish) but rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Included was breakfast buffet that two types of scrabbled eggs, breakfast sausage, pancakes, four types of bread, beens, coffee, two juices, cold cereal, plain yogurt, and oranges.
With Hot Springs, skiing, bike trails and hiking, shopping local shops and friendly people we always enjoy our stay at BW Invermere. Rooms are clean and comfy, WiFi for free, laundry machines, a Pub on site, centrally located, lake front 10 minute walk. Come on folks its a no brainer.
Great little stop on our road trip. Check in was quick, room very clean, the whole hotel was well run and staff friendly and accommodating. Central location ideal for some very good restaurants and coffee shops. Great value for money .
Invermere BC is a great place to vacation and relax. I have stayed at this Best Western for many years and have enjoyed my stay every time! The staff is very friendly and helpful ! The included full breakfast is a plus.
Location downtown Invermere (not on highway). Very close to shopping, beach, picnic tables,, playground, concessions, rentals & lessons. with pub/restaurant & museum near by.. The BW free breakfast was very good. We also had dinner from their menu and was also very good. .Loved the personalized gift bag for our dog Brandy. Doesn't get any better!
My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Invermere. While this is an older hotel it is very well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The TV and Intrnet worked very well. The furniture was very nice and comfortable as was the king size bed. There is a lounge, liqor store and restaurant in the same complex. the hotelwas also very . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a unique are to visit as there is a huge lake within walking distance. Veryunique stores within walking distance. This is a must area to visit.
Located right in town with everything convenient. The lake a close walk. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Service could't of been better. Would stay there again. If you want to play golf at least 4 close courses that look spectacular
The Best Western Invermere just keeps on getting better. Manager Stacy Smart, Georgina, and all of the other employees are always ready to go the extra mile to provide a happy and relaxing visit. I have brought my school group here for many years, and we have always been treated with wonderful service and hospitality. This hotel is set up perfectly for a school group such as ours. There is a great buffet breakfast, great pizza, and quiet clean and comfortable rooms. Thanks again for another enjoyable stay.
We organized the Slow Food Canada National Conference in April and the Best Western Invermere Inn was our host hotel. All of the delegates remarked that the staff was incredibly helpful, the hotel was very comfortable and clean, the location was terrific and they were made to feel very welcome. The hotel even had a mural painted on the front windows welcoming delegates. Thanks so much!
WE were booked into the Invermere best western and found it to be downtown Invermere and off the Highway. It was easy to get to and the beauty of the old town shone through. The river and surrounding hillsides made the experience well worth the off highway tour.

Thank you for your response. I'm so pleased to know that you enjoyed Invermere and all that it has to offer. Hopefully you will come back this summer to see all the beautiful flowers around town and enjoy Lake Windermere! Thank you for staying with us. Sincerely, Stacey S General Manager
Had a good stay here. Pros - Nice beds, hot shower, good internet speed, clean, decent breakfast, friendly staff Cons - Noisy neighborhood on Saturday night, strangely there were several times when no one was at the front desk for extended periods with no bell or away message.
Stayed three nights when attending the Wings Over the Rockies bird festival - our first stay in Invermere. Great location - walking distance to everything you need or want - large clean, comfortable room, great breakfast, good pub and restaurant and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again when next in Invermere, and now that we know what Invermere has to offer, we will be back.

Thank you for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review! I'm so happy to know that your first trip to Invermere was so enjoyable that you plan to come back. There is plenty to do here all year long so we hope to see you again soon! Warm Regards, Stacey S
Older Best Western, but was very clean, have very helpful staff, wonderful hot breakfast. Close to Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont Hot Springs. Easy walk to little shops and restaurants. Beautiful view of the mountains and didn't notice the street traffic from main drive.
Stacey S, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Invermere Inn, responded to this review
Thank you so much for posting such a lovely review of our property. Also, thanks for acknowledging the great staff we have working very hard here, we appreciate it! Glad to hear that you enjoyed our hot breakfast as well. I hope you can come back and visit us again soon. Sincerely, Stacey S General Manager
I tend to stay at Best Westerns due to the standards of the beds and cleanliness. This is a basic level hotel but the bed was great with nice sheets, clean room and very friendly staff. A good choice.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although it appears to be an older hotel, it is not out of step with the surroundings, and the room was clean and comfortable as is the standard for BW. This was not a BW Plus so with that in mind, everything was in good order and you won't be disappointed.
Even though this is an older Best Western - It is very clean and great location. It is at the end of the street with no through traffic. Walking distance to shops, etc. This hotel and location would be for overnight or a longer stay. The room itself is spacious and clean. Really nice bedding. When we checked in - we asked for a new renovation if possible as one of us is asthmatic. The girl advised us that we would be fine on on the 3rd floor -- as all pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor. And all was good.
Clean spacious modern room. Outstanding breakfast.in pleasant dining area. Very nice motel and reasonably priced. Would recommend for either a short stay or several days. Located right in down town area though street in very quiet as there is no through traffic.
Very nice spot, great food and staff were very friendly and knew the area. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Easy access to everything and all amenities were readily available as well. Price was very comparable I would think. Great place for an overnighter.
The Good: -Super comfortable beds. -Downtown location- walking distance to many shops and Kinsmen Beach. -Room refrigerator actually keeps food cold. The Bad: -Overstuffed pillows- had to sleep without a pillow as all 4 were stuffed at least 6" high. -Room was hot and stuffy when arrived. The AC unit is just a fan, so it doesn't cool the room down much. Left the fan going the whole time I was there and it was still pretty warm. -The only window that opens is very tiny and only opens an inch or 2. The Ugly: -I travel a lot for work and haul around a small cooler to keep my refrigerated items cold as I travel to the next hotel or several hours back home. I was told by the manager that I should not be using the ice machine to fill up my cooler as it is only meant for drinks. She stated they would be happy to freeze my ice packs or they have ice for sale. As a paying guest, I feel like I should have access to free ice, and would highly suggest the hotel invest in more than the one ice machine to keep up with the ice demand from paying guests. It's not like I was filling up a huge cooler to keep my beer cold as I went to the beach for the day. In the 20+ hotels I have stayed at in the past 2.5 years, I have never been told I can't use the ice from the ice machines to fill my cooler.
LOCATION: This hotel is at the end of Inveremere's main street making it a perfect base for exploring the numerous shops, restaurants and galleries. About a 30 minute drive to Panorama Ski Resort. About a 30 minute drive to Radium Hot Springs. TIDINESS: Acceptable. The age of the hotel makes it feel dirtier than it is. STYLE: Best Western has three levels of hotels, the “basic,” Plus and Premier. This location is a basic style, which translates to a older facility with dim lighting, dated décor, smaller rooms and the occasional odd smell. Definitely a “budget” accommodation with no frills. STAFF: Pleasant. COMMENTS: Being a basic Best Western there was nothing really extraordinary or dreadful about the stay. Due to the smaller room sizes and lack of on-site amenities, it may be better suited for a short stop-over rather than a long stay. While the free breakfast does not offer the quality you might see at a Best Western Plus, it offers enough to get your day started on the right foot. Being on the main street, light sleepers may benefit from ear plugs Rooms feature a refrigerator and microwave. Free parking, free wifi
The General Manager of this Best Western is very disruptive and unwilling to act accordingly when it comes to dealing with the internal members of the facility. i witnessed first hand how she spoke towards the internal employee and acted like a child with regards to her temper tantrum. We will not stay her and support such poor leadership and employee abuse.
Busy place, not a great getaway except when it's a reg weekend. We complained on noisy room above us and got no response from front desk. Noise went on for 3 hours and then started up again in the morning. It sounded like a military parade with constant booming of feet across the room.
We often book at Best Westerns because you know what you are going to get, comfortable beds, clean room, good breakfast, and good service. This Best Western did not disappoint. We were just staying one night but I can see that it would be good for a longer stay as it has a very good location in the middle of downtown.
We checked in and the receptionist was warm and welcoming. She recommended the lounge "Copper City Saloon" and mentioned it was pizza night. Needless to say...the pizza was awesome. We stayed in room 109 and immediately was pleased with how clean the room was. Breakfast the next day was spectacular! Pancakes, bacon and the lady even offered to cook us some fresh pancakes. I have stayed at Best Western's before but this one tops the list for me as one of the best hotels I have stayed in ever. I will be back!! My only negative comment, is the heater was a little loud and woke me a couple of times during the night.
Stayed in room 112 with our dog. Queen sized bed with couch , desk, mini fridge. Comfortable bed, quiet, good breakfast with variety of food. Staff was friendly. Easy location to walk to Kinsmen Beach, also great location to walk around the downtown area. Breakfast was included and had 2 types of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, yogurts, coffee and juices. Good hotels for couples, families, or single travellers. Great place to stay with a dog.
Good stay- hotel is a bit dated but still well kept. The breakfast in the morning was great and we enjoyed the bar that was attached. The hot tub floor heater was broken so it was use at your own risk which was fine- however the receptionist told us it was closed and we didn't find out the use at your own risk until we heard some other guests using it. The hot tub was welcome after a long day of skiing. Thanks for the great stay- would stay again!
Arrive Dec 29, no early check in available but that was OK as it gave us an opportunity to browse a few great little shops along the avenue. Room and bed was comfortable with a wall heater which we turned down at night so it wouldn't start blowing at 2 am. Breakfast was quite good, with something for everyone. Room 216 at the opposite end of the building from the front desk and restaurant was quiet, even though the stairwell was across the way, I guess everyone uses the front stairwell or elevator. Staff were friendly and helpful. Turn off to Panorama was only a couple Km away for anyone going that way. Would I return ? YES
Nice location in the Main Street but at the quiet . The staff was great, as was the food in the dining room. We had steak sandwiches which were cooked beautifully with generous salads. The front desk personnel doubled as waitress staff and the young lady was delightful.
I found Invermere to be fairly expensive though it was the peak summer travel time. I did not try the complimentary breakfast. It was the standard fare that this range of hotels offer, nothing out of the ordinary. The town has several nice cafes nearby and we chose that instead. The bed was quite comfortable though and we did enjoy our stay.Parking was very convenient... For a night or 2 I would recommend.
Excellent Service and a great location in Invermere. We chose this hotel based on it's location in downtown Invermere as it was walking distance to all the shops, the lake, and restaurants. We were welcomed by Georgena who made a great first impression. I had forgotten my cell phone charger and another staff member (who was new), offered to find one for me. An hour later, I had a charger to borrow. Impressive. The free buffet breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food.
The free breakfast was good (scramble eggs, deluxe eggs, sausage, ham, beans, pancakes, plus the usual continental breakfast items). The hotel was old but clearly has had some updates. Good location, walking distance to everything minus places on the highway. Price was good. The outdoor hot tub was awesome to sit outside at night. Overall it was good, no complaints. Within 30 min drive of Fairmont Hot Springs and about 20 min drive from Radium Hot Springs.
Pretty typical best western hotel. Comfortable room. Fridge. Pleasant staff. Included in the room price was a very good breakfast. Buffet style and constantly replenished. Enjoyed scrambled eggs with ham and there was lots of variety and coffee to go. All round good for travellers.
We love this hotel. It is pretty small, on a quieter street and they are very closer to the hot springs! Breakfast has quite few options to choose from and it is free vs the other hotel from the same chain.
great place to stay while in Invermere. ideal location, walking distance to shops, parks, beaches. Clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, friendly guests. definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Invermere.
Thanks to Stacy Smart and her able crew at Best Western Inveremere. I have stayed here many times with large groups, but took the opportunity this time to spend a relaxing long weekend with my wife and another couple. Golfing is nearby, there are some great restaurants, and wait until you try the amazing pizza right at the hotel. The breakfast is included and is very nice. The rooms are modern and clean, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Thanks you for a wonderful time!
Arrived at 9 am and weren't sure if we were staying that day due to an unforeseen circumstance. Georgina, the Manager was courteous and hospitable and allowed us the use of services until we had organized and had a plan. Her kindness and hospitality was very touching and much appreciated.
Excellent location. Very easy to walk around the downtown area. Rooms are very dated - long over due for some renovations. Beds, I believe are new - they were very comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant. Hot breakfast had lots to choose from and is included in the room rate.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is an older property, but found the hotel nicely updated. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We had a great sleep on the comfortable bed. There is a small fitness centre and out door hot tub. The breakfast was good and was the standard fare expected with a "free" breakfast. The staff were polite and professional. The hotel is located on the main street of Invermere, so you can easily walk to restaurants and shopping. We are glad we stayed at this hotel for a weekend get away!

Thank you for posting your review of us. I was pleased to hear that you liked our renovations and cleanliness. We are constantly upgrading so maybe you will have a chance to come back and see more improvements. Regards Stacey
Our stay at this hotel was a good one. It was close to lots of parks within walking distance. Lots of shopping with ones necessity's stores close at hand. I really liked the fact you could drive anywhere around the valley in about 20 minutes. Lots of Golf courses and mountain resort activity's. Radium was just down the road and I found it was much more comfortable and less stressing staying in Invermere. Did I say lots of good dining within the hotel itself or lots of eateries close by walking distance also. Its a clean and quiet hotel with a good complimentary breakfast, a user friendly hot tub and sports pub all in one. The rooms are comfortable and ours had quite a view. The top floor was a good choice because it was also quiet. If your a family, this would be a great place to stay because it's close to many of the Kootenay Mountains fun things to do with out having to drive up and down a tortures winding mountain road. I once lived in Invermere and truly would recommend staying at this Best Western.
My room was in the back overlooking the parking lot which wasn't too busy so very quiet. THe room was well appointed with a coffee maker, fridge and wonderful comfortable bed with tons of fluffy pillows. Wifi is free and dependable. The breakfast was generous with two types of eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham, yogurt, cold cereal and oatmeal. Four stars because the ceiling needed more sound insulation - I could hear the guest above me more than I usually can when in a hotel. All in all a good value with friendly knowledgeable staff and just blocks from the beach.
Stayed at this hotel as i didnt have an option, poor standards for a high room price. Checkin was routine, room was poorly renovated. Towels and bedding was not good standard. Hallway was old.Check out was the worst. Rude staff, talking to someone and not even acknowledging you. Much better deal at a better hotel in a BW Plus in Radium 10 minutes away for same price.
The hotel maybe a bit older but the location can't be beat.Walking distance to everything! The room was very clean and all the staff were very nice and always smiling. We had a room with a king bed and it was great.Try and get a room that doesn't have a door adjoining to the next room, our neighbours were very noisy in the middle of the night and it came right through the door.
