« Decent Hotel for Decent Price »

This hotel is tucked away so you'll need to be on the lookout for it. It's a bit older and the rooms, especially the bathroom, are smaller than standard. The property even though old is clean and that is important. Staff is as helpful as you could ask. A reasonable rate if you're not in the room more than absolutely necessary.

« Great Rate, Great Bargian, Great Staff »

I was in Indiana for some work on a property and really enjoyed my stay at this location. My room was clean and had all of the things I needed. The internet was fast and the breakfast was wonderful! Every staff member I saw during my stay greeted me with a smile and I felt welcomed the entire day I was there.

« Will not stay again »

The attidudes of the front desk clerks was not good when you asked them a question. Handicap rooms are not truly handicaped. Bathtub stool was nasty, the room was not big enough to be handicap accessable. The reservation was for a handicap suite did not get a suite.

« Very friendly and helpful »

The hotel is very clean and up-to-date.Marlene did a outstanding job on the breakfast!Quite the selection and everything was delicious! If Marlene hasn't had a raise it's about time you all give this lady a raise such a sweetheart!

« Going Over and Above!! »

This Best Western Inn rises above other locations due to the caring, hard work of the manager. Sapan Shah was the name of the individual working here while my family and I stayed for 3 days/nights. If we needed ANYTHING, he was able to accommodate us. We were staying at the hotel due to my grandmother passing away, so we were putting together a collage of her photos. He even offered to provide scissors, tape, or anything else we needed. He made coffee during the day, a large variety of breakfast options, always had help nearby if we needed anything to make our stay better. I loved that the fitness center is open 24/7 and the location of the hotel is great too. It was very clean, comfortable, and safe. Free wi-fi and tv as well. I highly recommend it!

« Average hotel which needed better staffing. »

Stayed here for two days during our Groundhog's Day visit to Punxsutawney which is about 30 miles away. The room with two double beds was fairly clean, except for the nightstand which had an opened bag of candy in it. The beds were comfortable, but small for two adults to use. There were three adults sharing this room. The bathroom was small and in need of an update. The shower head needed to be replaced. The main issues I had, however, concern staffing. The clerk who checked us in mistakenly charged us for three nights. I had asked to split the stay with my uncle, and the clerk swiped both our credit cards. The morning clerk, a very young girl, said a manager would have to correct the billing error at a later time. The breakfast area is small, and the food selection provided is average. Although we arrived for breakfast only 30 minutes after it started, they were out of some items. The front desk clerk also had to oversee the breakfast bar, and I think she just couldn't handle it. With adequate and competent staffing, our stay would have been more enjoyable.

« Hotel Staff is Great (except 1), Hotel is Average but Clean »

Recently stayed here with the majority of my family overnight. In all we stayed in 3 rooms - my parents in one King room, my brothers and I in two Double Bed rooms. I reserved the rooms through AAA, so got really great discount pricing. The front desk attendants were very friendly and helpful. Well done at the front desk for my brothers and me! My parents stayed a few nights, and one day my Mom said she could not get the printer at the business center to work and could not find the front desk attendant. Not sure what the problem was since I wasn't there, but felt it was worth mentioning. The breakfast bar attendant was not attendant at all. My husband went to tell her that the coffee had run out (two insulated pumpers worth), and found her playing on her cell phone in the prep area. She told him that she couldn't use the microwave and make coffee at the same time due to a breaker overloading - but she never did refill the coffee during breakfast hours. Overall, she seemed unenthusiastic, grumpy, even. Perhaps it was a bad day for her. Fairly typical continental breakfast fare - Waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt (2 types), coffee, hot water, instant flavored oatmeal, breads, danishes, muffins, bananas and apples, different fruit juices. The Double Rooms were very small - if you're hoping to have a desk with an office chair, get a Queen or King room. We had three people in each of the double rooms and it was very tight. The room itself was clean, well maintained. Everything functioned fine, though there was no phone in the room for a wake-up call. TV is a nice size, and a good sized mini-fridge and microwave, too. The lighting is a little dim and my husband had trouble shaving and I had problems getting my make-up done correctly, so that might be something to consider. The hotel was quite noisy from the hours to 11 am to approximately 6 pm - lots of doors banging, loud talking, etc. This could have been because we were on the first floor near the front desk. Overall, a fairly solid stay for a Best Western. Good location right off of the 422 outerbelt, though the entrance isn't well marked once you turn into the Walmart "complex". Quick drive straight into IUP's campus or the center of town from this hotel.

« Great hotel if traveling to SCI- Pine Grove »

I was in town for work and stayed one night at the Best Western. It's not far from the highway and is near several food options. I'd recommend asking for an odd number room so that you don't face all the businesses and traffic. My stay was quiet and I slept very well in the king size bed. Pillows were perfect. The breakfast was disappointing. I got there at 7:30am. The eggs were cold and tasted like plastic. There were no forks. No healthy options like egg whites or turkey bacon. The woman who checked me in was friendly and professional but the young lady Cheyenne who was working the desk in the morning was as expected for someone in her age group. Dressed like she was going to a bonfire, no customer service personality. As this is a cheaper hotel near SCI Pine Grove I'll definitely be back. The drive is only fifteen minutes which I appreciate. I'll go out for breakfast instead of enjoying the breakfast options in the hotel.

« Great value - Clean room and a Walmart right there »

I stayed one night for a weekend getaway to see basketball games at IUP. The room was clean, and the bathroom nice. The bathroom had the toilet and tub/shower in it. The sink was outside of the bathroom in an alcove making it easy for others to use. The breakfast had make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage plus fruit, breads and cereal. As you approach, GPS takes you into the WalMart parking lot. Look left on the other side of McDonald's and you'll see the Best Western. I headed over to WalMart and did some shopping for home. It's a big one with a Market if you're looking for easy food to take back to the room. The hotel location was a few minutes from plenty of fast food chains including the McD's right there, IUP, and about 10 minutes from the Jimmy Stewart Museum.

    « Pleasant surprise »

Booked due to price and proximity to venue. Pleasantly surprised....very clean. Easy check in and check out. Felt safe which is huge when traveling alone on business. The room was as described for a king sized suite. Exercise area very small but functional.

« Visitation with family and a wedding »

If my wife and I ever make it back to Indiana to visit relatives again this Best Western is where we will be staying. A very clean, quiet and positive atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The fact that it was close to a Walmart made it even better.

    « Good Choice »

There is nothing exceptional but nothing terrible about this Indiana PA hotel. We stayed one night for a football game. Walmart and shopping areas are close. We were upgraded to a suite, which was large. Room was clean and pretty quiet although you could hear the shower from the next room. The a/c unit didn't blow directly onto the bed which was nice. Breakfast was just average and the breakfast room is small. This is not a "wow" hotel, but a solid choice.

« Clean rooms, service was good »

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, service was good however the breakfast needs some improvement but will definitely fill the void. Location is decent but getting into their lot is a bit confusing at first. Overall not a bad place to stay, good value.

« September stay at Indiana Inn, BestWestern »

I will stay at Indiana Inn again in the future. It is located in the WalMart plaza and hard for me to find at first. Indiana Inn is in a quiet location, easy to get to once I found it, and moderately busy. I liked this place.

    « Great Stay! »

We only stayed for one night, however everything was accommodating to our needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean when we arrived, and had what we needed to enjoy our stay. The hotel is located near Wal-Mart and IUP, so it's very close to everything. I would stay here again.

    « Horrible »

Although the staff attempted to be professional. They gave away my reserved rooms to an individual without checking their identification. The metal shower rod, fell completly from the wall when I attempted to closed the shower curtain. The bedroom windows were only covered by a sheer curtain rod, so every bit of light from the outside shined on the bed. The next day I got a call from mangement informing me that I left items in a room that I was never in, because they had given the room to someone else, but it was in my name. REALLY!

    « Great Place »

The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Place is always quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. Breakfast is decent but could be a little better with a little more variety and fresh oatmeal.

    « Good for a few... »

Check in was good. Someone was learning so it took a bit more time, but you gotta learn! Found the room to be a bit tight. For a Best Western, it felt cramped. Beds were comfy with good linens and no stains. Bathroom was tub/toilet on its own and the sink/vanity separate. Plenty of towels. Towels were thick, clean and had no stains. Room had a nice sized fridge and a microwave. WiFi was good. Parking good. Only pit fall, no guest laundry. As a traveler, I don't want to have to find a laundromat in a unknown town. And being DOT regulated, we don't always have to hours to do so. Maybe this location will consider adding a washer/dryer for their guests.... This location is close to food and Wal-Mart is next door. Overall a good stay. Asked for a late check out and there was no problem with it! Appreciated!

    « cleanliness »

i was excited about staying here till we got in our room and i noticed it was not cleaned right and breakfast was deffinatly dissappointing.. hair was behind bathroom door on floor .. breakfast was till 10 and we went in to eat at 9: and they was out of sausage eggs looked terrible out of orange juice out of cups for wafflel mix out of forks .. customer looked in drawers and got forks out.. was very dissapointing

    « Great stop! »

Great stop in Indiana, PA. Hotel is on a dead end st, which keeps it nice and quiet. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Sink inside bathroom with commode. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles and pastries. Located within walking distance to Walmart and McDonalds.

    « Great stay! »

Our stay was great. We were in town for a family wedding. Staff were super friendly and helpful upon arrive around 11:00 P.M. and everything was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

    « Bait and Switch »

Signed in with paperwork with a Rate of $55.00 rate plus taxes. Reserved the room from Thursday thru Sunday night. We went out to visit on Friday, upon returning, We had been locked out of our room, and explained the Rate had been changed to Rate of 88.00 plus taxes. The clerk would not even give me access to the room , until I signed the new rate agreement. I looked for another hotel in the area, and was unable to locate one as it was late in the evening. Every day after that, I had to go to the front desk to get my key fixed to open the door. The manager Maria should be fired because of her lack of customer service, or even caring.

    « Poor customer service »

Rooms were reserved for my family that were in from out of state. The rooms were reserved at a price of $55 plus tax per night but upon check in they were charged $95 a night & refused to honor the previous agreement. Refused to give them copies of the contract and 2 family members were refused entrance back in to their room to get some belongings. The owner of the hotel was involved in all of this & was extremely rude to all guests. We will NOT be recommending them to anyone or using them in the future.

    « Room for improvement »

Could clean a little better. Vacuum around the corners, mop around the toilet better. But for the most part it was a good place to stay. Beds were very comfortable! Didn't like the air freshners in the hallways.

« Cost, Quality, Comfort and Convenience »

In town to visit my son who attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania! The Best Western hotel is the perfect place to stay for the cost, quality, comfort and convenience!!!! Perfect location, courtesy staff!

    « #Happiness Always »

amazing place to stay, discrete location, low traffic flow, local shopping areas in distance, friendly staff, hotels appearance inviting and beautiful, smells great. Definitely would advise and recommend this facility

« Rooms need better cleaning »

The hotel is in great location. They need to retrain house keeping staff how to clean and vacuum. I have tried to give them a chance by staying 3 different times but I give up now. Broken items in room. I won't be staying again

    « Noisy and smelly »

Check in was fine, get everything up to my room and the refrigerator did not work. Gal at the front desk was pleasant and helpful and gave me another room without question. As it turns out I should have kept the first room. The worst next door neighbors I have ever had (and I am in hotels 150+ nights a year) Just rotten inconsiderate people who made more noise than you would think possible. Calling the front desk to complain just got me more frustrated. The room was not very clean with substances that were sticky on a few surfaces. An odd smell, no facial tissue (box was empty) and a left over used bar of soap in the shower. I always assume the worst and travel with Clorox wipes and wipe down every surface I might touch anyway but this one was pushing the boundaries. If i had an option of another hotel I would have checked out in an instant. I took one for the team here.

    « Re-review: I've changed my mind! »

I originally reviewed that the staff was great and facilities were sub-par. Between that first visit and this, there have been SIGNIFICANT changes to facilities, and my three-star review is now FIVE stars. I'm a Diamond member with Hilton...but I'll pay out-of-pocket to stay here because the staff is the best in town!

« Experience during the stay »

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I came to visit the university and that is the reason for my visit. I was helped with directions to the university and also the staff made their efforts to help me the best way they could. The internet facility is great. The breakfast is fresh and clean.

    « Amazing! »

Amazing! The service was amazing, the breakfast was great and I had no problems finding it. It is surrounded by Walmart, McDonald's, a gas station - very convenient to get to where I needed to go and even the people around the area was amazing! I would definitely recommend any everyone that come to Indiana, PA to stay at the Best Western

    « Good value, a little run-down looking »

Smaller, older hotel but good value, decent breakfast, comfortable beds, bathroom had paint peeling in the ceiling, otherwise good, everything in working order. I would come back. Not far from IUP where we were heading.

« Nice Room, Friendly Staff »

I stayed at this property in December while in town for a training class at IUP. I originally had booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, but that changed when they called to say that they were without water and were closed for repairs during that time. At the last minute, I called and booked a room at the Best Western. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and were able to get me a room for the night. I have stayed at this hotel in the past, and it is a decent hotel for a budget-conscious road warrior. The room was clean, the bathroom clean, and the bed comfortable. The heat worked fine and the Internet access free and acceptably fast. The staff was accommodating of my request for a late checkout, and helpful in finding a good spot for a beer and a sandwich. The hotel is convenient to IUP. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

    « It was good! »

The hotel was nice and clean. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The beds were actually pretty comfortable! We only stayed for one night but it's good for a weekend type of trip.

    « A Great Place To Stay »

This hotel is located on the south side of Indiana. It is very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very good night's sleep and the included breakfast was also quite good

    « Inidaia PA »

Very nice hotel. Morning breakfast was good. Waffle maker, Danish, omlettes, sausage, juice, and coffee. Clean rooms nice fitness center. Close to restaurants and Walmart. Great location if visiting Indiana Univ. of PA.

    « Wedding Trip »

Our stay at this Best Western was smooth and worry free. The staff was friendly, professional and was always readily available. The rooms were very clean and well arranged. We had all we needed. Everything was in very good condition and good working order. The breakfast area was a bit cramped for space however the food was fresh, ample in supply and provided a good choice.

« Handy to Pittsburgh and eastern suburbs »

Nice hotel just on major routes without the traffic hassle. Nice quiet room and good breakfast. No complaints. Exactly what I needed in order to visit a manufacturer in Tarentum, PA the next day. Hoss's Steak and Seafood nearby.

« excellent location for IUP college visit »

have stayed here several times, good location 5 mins from campus, but next to Walmart and other stores (walkable), other restaurants and Philly street all a short drive. Basic hotel (no pool), but have stayed in double room, king and king suite (includes sofabed), all up to expectations , staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic free options, but McD is next door if you want more options.

« Nice place, good price »

The hotel was up to date and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms are a little small, but the room and beds were comfortable. It's close to restaurants and shopping. I'd recommend this hotel for a night or two. We will definitely be back when we visit Indiana again.

« Convenient stay right off the 422 Indiana exit »

Located right off the 422 exit next to McDonalds, Walmart, gas station, and a bank. Dinner delivery available and close to many restaurants on the street towards the college. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast included with convenient hours.

    « Refurbished and comfortable »

This hotel used to be some other chain, but since taken over by Best Western has been fabulously refurbished. Rooms are very well appointed and staff is very helpful and professional. Would definitely use this hotel again!

    « very comfortable »

staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. breakfast was very enjoyed the eggs and waffles.the location was very convenient to the could walk to the wal-mart and property was very well lit and felt very safe.I would definitely stay here in the future and consider staying at Best Western hotels.

    « Nice place »

Nice, quite stay. Very relaxing, and price is pretty good also. Breakfast is also served and not bad. Room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Arrived late and was allowed to stay an extra hour after check out. One bad thing is your deposit is put on hold so it will take a few days to go back into your account. Thanks

« They made the blip in our visit right! »

Whilst recently staying at the Best Western we had a few problems that were rectified to our satisfaction. We were in town for a funeral, and upon checking in, we noticed that the soap dish at the sink hadn't been cleaned, and there was a pair of men's shorts and underwear hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I immediately took the shorts to the front desk, and spoke to Ian, who was very kind and he offered us to switch rooms. I told him that it wasn't necessary. Then next day we left after a really great breakfast and a super night's sleep; We turned off the lights and locked the door. When we returned (about ten hours later) our door was ajar about two inches and the lights were all on; housekeeping had been there, even though the soap dish was still soapy, the bed was made and the room was tidy. I immediately went to the front desk (Ian was there again, but he wasn't a manager) He said that he was sorry that that had happened, and he would send a text to the manager. I inquired again an hour later, but Ian said that Melissa, the manager, hadn't yet responded, and that she would be in at 0700. On Sunday morning, I spoke to Melissa before breakfast, and asked her if she had gotten a text from Ian regarding my room #210. She said she was sorry. I felt an apology was not an adequate conclusion to the situation, and Melissa offered to take off half of the room's rate. I still felt this wasn't appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and for feeling slightly violated. (plus I had asked some friends if they had ever had this situation and they concurred that the night's stay or the whole stay should be refunded) I decided to ask Melissa if Ian had told her about the underwear upon our check-in, and he hadn't; She ended up taking off the price of Saturday's stay, but not Friday's. I then asked if she would take off the room's safe box fee since we hadn't used it, and she did. Overall, I would say that the customer service was good, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable, so I have rated the Best Western as very good, but I doubt that I would stay there again.

    « Comfortable quiet night »

This unassuming inn is rated 4 by me -- not because of 4-star amenities but because our room was was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Close to the highway but quiet accommodation. It was a good night's sleep. One small criticism -- the flowers in the two planters flanking the front door were dead and decaying. They should be replaced with something attractive or remove the planters all together.

    « Hotel Stay »

For the money, this is not a bad hotel to stay in. The front desk people are wonderful. The room we stayed in had an odd smell as did the hallways. In addition, the room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. It wasn't gross, but not as good as other hotels.

    « Comfortable and clean »

This was a great hotel to stay to visit IUP with my son. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did notice that the refrigerator had someone's cup of soda left in there. The A/C worked well and wasn't noisy. The only noise we heard in the room was the occasional talking or doors closing in the hallway. The staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed watching a movie on HBO and using the free WIFI. The breakfast was good. A negative is the placement of the sink. It's basically in the main room and the lights shine onto the bedroom area. This is a disadvantage to people who may be trying to sleep while someone else is using the sink area. Overall, good value and nice place to stay!

    « Great! »

My husband, myself, and another couple stayed at this best western for two nights when in town for a wedding. We had no problems and everything was great! When we asked for more towels and pillows, the staff was very helpful and prompt. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of food.

    « College Visit »

Hotel was clean and the staff was nice. Still, it was the only business in the Western PA that did not have the Pittsburgh Penguins on the television!! The breakfast was typical free breakfast fare you receive at most hotels.

« Very clean and welcoming »

I was visiting the university. The hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was asked on several occasions if I need anything. I felt welcome. The breakfast room was very pleasant. The breakfast had ample choices. The coffee was freshly made. The hotel and its staff surpassed my expectations. I will stay there again.

    « Dated, Nice Stay »

The hotel is dated, in my opinion. The bathrooms are small and the sink is in the room entry instead of the bathroom itself. Despite the small, old design, everything was clean and working properly. Anything more for such a quick stay would've been unnecessary.

« Clean and Comfortable but a little pricey »

I recently spent two nights at the Best Western Indiana Inn on business and enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located near local amenities and restaurants. Plus, there is a WalMart next door...a good measuring stick for any business (If you are near a WalMart, you are somebody. Just like getting your name in the phone book!) The continental breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only issue was that I thought the cost of the room was a little pricey for a Best Western in Indiana, Pennsylvania. A recent stay at a 4 star hotel in St Louis was less expensive! All in all, the hotel served its purpose well and I was satisfied with my stay and the proximity to the superstore next door made me want for nothing at all...except maybe a paper drink umbrella, and a chair, and a paddle ball game...

« Weekend visit for IUP ceremony »

Check-in was fine...quick, effecient...we had booked through Expedia, so I expected this. We got to the room, dropped our stuff off, and headed to the dorm to pick up our daughter, as she was escaping for the weekend! We went to dinner and spent time with friends, returning around 9:45pm. Changed into jammies, and settled in....only to realize how incredibly thin the walls in this hotel are....we got to hear our neighbors enjoying "nighttime marital activities", complete with headboard banging into the wall...for almost an hour. We were tolerant...turned up the TV...turned down the TV....banged back on the wall...called the front desk....soooo glad when they were done. We were up early the next morning, due to our daughter's ceremony at IUP. We went for breakfast...kind of disappointed in the reheated frozen omelets/sausage patties. We aren't into waffles. Hubby tried the cereal, only to find it was bland generic tasting. Yes, it is included in the price of the room - "free" - but for the price of the room, it was very disappointing. Second night, our noisy friends didn't return. The room was relatively quiet. We slept well. Went for breakfast....same spread. Disappointed 2 mornings in a row. Went back upstairs, packed our bags, and checked out. Paid for breakfast at Perkins. Will we return again? Probably not. Between the thin walls & the disappointing breakfast, we can get an equal experience in town for less per night. They win.

« Great place to stay! »

You can't beat this hotel's location, customer service and cleanliness. Staff is genuinely friendly & courteous. Selection of food for breakfast is more than adequate & the cleanliness of the breakfast room is impressive.

    « Great Location »

This motel is close to whatever you want to do in the area. Located near restaurants, shopping, and main roads. Breakfast is incredible. Happy staff. Easy parking. Giant beds. GIANT. Wifi has great reception. Blizzard of 2016 - snow removed quickly from the parking lot.

« Great hotel in Indiana Pa »

If you are in the Indiana Pennsylvania area the Best western Indiana is the place to stay. This hotel is super clean and the staff is helpful and very pleasant. The free breakfast is a great way to start your day.

« Great staff, disappointing facilities »

I really WANT to review this hotel higher, because the staff are courteous, excellent--the kind of people I would hire at my company! Unfortunately, the facilities have been a huge disappointment. I booked the room for my wife and daughter (as my daughter was returning to college nearby). The first room provided was a handicapped accessible, which wasn't needed, but the problem was that the shower head dangled loosely from the wall with a hand-held sprayer...with no wall mount! Staff helped them move rooms, efficiently and without a problem. The second day, the door wouldn't lock anymore! A manager came up, verified it was broken, so they moved one more time. Again, the staff was courteous, prompt, and brought them a new key as they were moving a second time. In this third room in two days, she discovered the security was incomplete (see attached photo). The deadbolt worked, but we always use that secondary lock when we're in the idea why it was removed. My wife decided to stay anyway, things were fine...but all of these small things point to deeper problems in my mind. My wife said coffee and breakfasts were fine, and reinforced the people were wonderful. I actually feel badly for them...

« They dont honor reward poinyd »

I stayed here from 25 August, 2015 until 11 Jan, 2016 have a rewards card in good standing. But they say i cannot get my points. Susane, Christie, jiles and the rest of the staff is great. Jay one of the owners do not trust this man. Place is clean. The doors do not have jam locks. People can push the door open. I was injured in the elevator but they refuse to pay for this injury or doctors bills. DO NOT STAY HERE. SMELLS MOLDY IN THE CARPET SECOND FLOOR. IF I COULD RATE THIS HOTEL LESS I WOULD

« Suited my needs very well »

Clean room, very comfortable bed, friendly staff, better than average breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, variety of pastries and breads, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal), location was good for me. If it had a pool and hot tub it would be perfect.

Room was very clean, first place I have stayed in for a long time that did not have dust behind the furniture. It is right next to a McDonald's, a WalMart and a few other shops. Staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. My stay was quiet and pleasant, nice breakfast, free newspaper, free Wi-Fi. I will be sure to stay there again when I am next in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

    « Nice Stay »

We had a nice stay at this hotel. We stayed here as my inlaws house was too small for all of us over the holiday. The only thing I had an issue was the alarm clock going off at 10pm in the room next to us and no one was in that room and the small of smoke in the hallways and the trash by the elevator. Overall a great stay!

    « College visit hop »

After a long 7 hours it's was great to walk into a room with high beds comfortable mattress and a huge flat screen TV. We stayed on the 2nd floor no issues, and quite. The complimentary breakfast was great. I made my waffles in peace, with my boiled egg and apple juice. The wifi worked thankfully. The night and morning staff was pleasant. They called to check on us about 30 min after checking in to ensure all was well. I would stayed there again if our children decide to attend the college nearby.

« Not Prepared for Breakfast »

Check in was very efficient. Susanne offered us a room change when she learned our party number went from 4 to 2. She adjusted the cost of the room from the reservation. We arrived after dark. The large outside sign was not working and the small sign is not turned so you can see it from the drive. Making the motel difficult to pick out of the background. The location is easy on and off US 422. It is across the parking lot from a Walmart. The Wifi worked well. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the TV had a great picture. The major disappointment was breakfast. They were out of orange juice, eggs, and sausage. The waffle area was a disaster with no small cups to measure the batter which resulted in many over flows. The early morning guests were slobs and didn't bother to let the front desk know the condition of the room. This was one hour into the breakfast. The front desk responded and the supply of sausage and eggs as well as orange juice was replenished. A new employee was being trained at the front desk which accounts for part of the conditions. Training the new employee to check on the breakfast room would be a good idea. We often stay at Best Western and this is not the norm. The front desk did adjust our bill for a Rewards Program Coupon we earned from frequent visits.

    « A nice hotel! »

I had a very nice stay here! Check in went smoothly and everyone I came across was friendly. I can't say enough about the manager, Melissa! She was so warm and friendly, she even helped me with a small wifi issue i had. She remember me when i came back around after i went out for dinner too! The rooms were what I expected from this price point and I had a great night sleep.

    « Nice clean hotel »

We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay. I have disagree with what others felt were comfy beds. Ours was very firm. If you like that - great - you'll enjoy it. Otherwise we have no concerns. Front desk staff were warm and friendly and called our room about 10 min after we arrived to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Room was clean and I liked the clean tv remote - nice touch. All appliances and fixtures worked - nice selection of lighting in the king suite. Overall - a nice stay. We will consider this hotel for future visits

« Another nice stay at Best Western - Indiana PA »

This was my second stay, this year, at the Best Western in Indiana PA. The Hotel was located in nice quiet area and still also located close to the town of Indiana PA. I was not able to enjoy the breakfast but the fitness room worked very well. If you are looking for a comfortable / reasonably price hotel I would recommend this hotel.

    « Super comfy beds »

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and love the location. Close to IUP, Walmart and many places to eat so it is really convenient. TVs are big and place is quiet. Breakfast is fine - coffee, tea, danish, yogurt, fruit and waffles.

I liked the hotel as it was clean and its employees were helpful and always have smile faces. Its location is excellent as it with a walking distance from grocery stores and some restaurants. It is also on a highway so it is well situated

« Good beds, poor service and amenities »

Good Mattresses, hair dryer caught fire and after reporting it, no one fixed it. The desk clerk gave me $10.00 off my bill, but accidentally checked me out. Later, two women tried to check into my room while I was there. The smoke alarm was dismantled and not covered so there were open wires. The bathroom fan made a terrible noise. Loud guests.

    « Reasonable »

Solid hotel, nothing super. Clean, comfortable, reasonable service. Price is OK. Hotel is located near the WalMart and many good restaurants along Oakland. Not too far from campus and fairly easy to get to from the highway. Breakfast is OK, if a little cramped.

« Good Value for the Location »

I stayed at the Best Western in Indiana Pa for3 nights. The room was very comfortable and the location was great. The breakfast was adequate and the staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was good. I have stayed 5 times in this hotel and would stay there again if I am in the area.

    « clean and bright »

Once I figured out how to reach the hotel I found it to be a very nice property. The entire place was clean and bring and the staff was on the ball and helpful. I would say its the best place to stay of you are going to IUP.

    « Pleasant Stay »

The hotel was pleasant. Nothing super spectacular but nice. We only stayed one night as it was a quick trip so for our purposes and the price, it was excellent. The breakfast was your standard continental but with a waffle maker & sausage gravy & biscuits which was quite good. Rooms were of ample size and included a microwave & refrigerator. The bed wasn't as nice & comfy as other hotel beds I've stayed in, but it was good.

    « Beware »

We stayed here one night and that was enough. The hotel is located adjacent to Walmart; you must drive through the parking lot to enter the hotel. This hotel is clean and has comfortable beds, but the walls are thin and if your room is near the elevator, it is very noisy. Our room had real bathroom-problems: the toilet paper dispenser was broken, the bathroom fan didn't work, the toilet would run until you jiggled the handle, and in the morning, the flush handle fell off. Potential guests should also be aware that there are not bathrooms in the lobby or near the breakfast room or fitness center. Know too that the 'hot' breakfast wasn't much: although there were do-it-yourself waffles, the only 'hot' other item was a small crock-pot full of sausage and gravy. The 'cold' breakfast items were fine, and there was a nice assortment of fresh fruit, but the coffee was terrible. In my view, this place is fine if you are driving through and looking for a place to crash for the night. But if you're looking for a comfortable hotel to relax and spend some extra time, I'd look elsewhere.
