Best Western Plaza Hotel Grevenbroich

Lovely hotel Large, comfortable bedroom, excellent choice for breakfast and good beer at the bar. Only downside was two buses arriving at the same time overwhelmed the two reception staff and a lengthy wait to check in

Our stay was comfortable in total, but a missing AC is a no go today. During cold seasons, this is no problem for sure, but it can be in summer. The staff was friendly, the garage right beneath the hotel is not too expensive (9€ per night) and the room was refurbished and comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't refurbished, it looked a bit outdated with some minor damages. Cleanliness was ok, the bathroom wasn't prefectly clean upon arrival. The location in the heart of Grevenbroich is good, there are several shopping ooptions, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

We are very satisfied with this hotel and are happy we chose to stay here... we booked a junior suite and the room was really beautiful, spacious, clean and functional. No airconditioning with the very hot weather is something to keep in mind. One minor thing is the TV, we found online german spoken TV channels and a few various languages spoken news channels. Not any channels with entertainment in English, Dutch, French,... Specifically when travelling with small children who go to bed soon, or business people who need to wake up early like to watch some TV. Reception team is very friendly. A very special thanks to the new guy Matthias Schmitz who is very friendly, ready to help you as much as possible and makes you fel relaxed at home away from home. Breakfast is something I can't really fully rate as it is a adjusted offer due to the Corona Virus measures. Breakfast as we had it was fine. The Coffee can be better but is not bad. The 1 service staff person on floor was in the kitchen all the time, and hard to find when needed... We were very happy overall and would surely stay here again if we are around again. As a hospitality professional myself I emphasize to potential guests that it is a good spot. To the hotel itself, I wish to emphasize that my remarks are no critics but room for improval options. I have stayed in this hotel 3 or 4 times most years for the past 10 years or so, and have always been treated as a valued guest. I have never considered anywhere else. But it has be acquired by a chain and is now less friendly. You must pay in full on arrival. If you want a late check out you must pay by the hour, even if the hotel is empty. Maybe I am being a little bias because I know hat it was like in the past, but I suspect that when I return to Grevenbroich in January I will be looking at alternatives

Stopped at the hotel for a 2 night stop and found it to be clean with good staff. The bedrooms were a good enough size for 2 and the breakfast was good with a Continental style buffet , bacon and eggs and a good selection of cereals.

This hotel is used by National Coach Holidays as an overnight stop. When we stayed it was very hot and there is not aircon, except in the reception area and the minibar fridge was missing from the room! The room was okay, but needed updating, it is at the back of the hotel and is above the air conditioning units for the adjacent shopping mall, so it is noisy. The dinner although a fixed menu was tasty and breakfast was very good. WiFi is very expensive, so I didn't bother with it. Would I recommend staying here! It is okay as an overnight stop.

Stayed for 3 nights whilst attending a car show nearby. Booked a single room and was given what was a double but with a single bed in it, along with a desk and chair, two arm chairs and coffee table, and there was still plenty of space. Bathroom had a bath with shower over it, which worked very well with good pressure. The hotel is attached to a shopping centre and has it's own direct access into that, and then onto the main street. There is also a dedicated hotel entrance onto the side street. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bar in reception was well stocked and comfortable. Breakfast included the usual continental cheeses and meats, as well as scrambled egg, bacon and sausages. There is a small underground car park specifically for the hotel that costs 2.5 euro a day. Only gripe was the wifi isn't free (5 euro a day I think).

Arrived at this hotel as an homeward bound overnight stop. Staff efficient and friendly on arrival. Rooms clean and spacious with bath and shower. The buffet meal was excellent with helpful friendly staff making sure you are ok. Very hood choice of salad then good choice of main course and lovely dessert.
