SureStay Plus by Best Western Enterprise

Unless you enjoy polar plunges, stay out of the pool. It was so uncomfortably cold that my family couldn't swim. The staff stated to us and other guests that they couldn't afford to heat it because it was propane. The spa worked but had a hardened line of grim around it and the sauna didn't work at all. The room was nice and clean. But if you're coming for the amenities, go elsewhere.

Great customer service =5 Rooms a bit dated but clean =4 Breakfast area clean =5 Breakfast selection hot foods =3 Need hard boiled eggs and on brand yogurt like Chobani or Dannon Location=5 Parking =5 Not a BW fan however this hotel was very decent. If in area would select again. Views very nice.

We felt we were in the lap of luxury, especially after a bad experience the previous two nights in another city. The things we particularly noticed were ample outlets and charging places for electronic devices, lots of space, and a QUIET air conditioner! The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and handy since the motel is a bit out of Enterprise proper.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything in the room was in working order. The air conditioner was a blessing since the outside temp was in the 90's and low 100's during our stay. Good parking. Breakfast was adequate with the same options each morning. This is a two story building with no elevator.

This hotel has best service and location. It sits across the beautiful Wallowa mountain range. The employees are amazing, helpful and well-mannered. The breakfast is nice and the best part is the cleanness of the room. The towels and sheets smell like they are just out of dryer! Perfect experience.

I have three important criteria when choosing lodging, beit an international 5-star resort, or a quaint Ma and Pa motel, these criteria are: Was I physically safe on the property? Was I physically comfortable on the property? And would a reasonable person conclude I got what I paid for (value). I am continually amazed at how many people complain about how the WiFi didn't work, or the coffee was cold, etc, and never comment on their safety, their comfort, and their value at a lodging property. From my desk, the SureStay Plus motel, Enterprise, Oregon gets two out of three. I stayed at the SureStay Plus motel on Saturday, June 22, 2024. I did not have a reservation as my travel schedule changed and I needed a place for one night. All other smaller Ma and Pa motels in the area were full. The desk attendant at the SureStay Plus said they had a vacancy and quoted me $174 dollars plus tax for one night. I accepted. As the attendant finished the check-in process, she apologized and said she had made a mistake: the rate was $274 dollars per night, plus taxes, for a total of just over $300 dollars per night for one person in a room with one king bed. I gasped, I didn't have options remaining, so I reluctantly accepted the high, obviously seasonal rate. For personal safety, the property is new and located by itself on the west side of Enterprise, Oregon, overlooking scenic Wallowa Valley and mountain range. It is offset from the highway on a hill with no street or highway traffic immediately near the property. Individual rooms have coded key card locks. However, anyone can get into the property through side doors, which are unlocked day and night. This surprised me. But I felt safe with this property. I was certainly comfortable in this Best Western property. The property is new, well-kept, and immaculately clean. It has two stories but no elevator. My second-floor room was sparkling, comfortable bed, all appliances in good working condition, with plenty of hot water in the shower / tub combination. No spots or smells anywhere. Plus, the property was quiet. I was comfortable and slept well. This is a full-service property, with full hot free-of-charge breakfast, indoor pool and jacuzzi, exercise room, and available laundry for patrons. I didn't use the Wi-Fi. I began to see why patrons are charged over $300 per night; you pay for the add-ons. But you must ask yourself: Do I need all this for the price? If you are a budget traveler, look elsewhere. This is a safe, comfortable property; no question about that. But for rural Oregon it will dent your wallet. The two local towns of Enterprise and Joseph, Oregon, have many Ma and Pa motels, which are filled nightly in the high summer season. Had I had other options, I would have sought lodging in these smaller properties.

Staff was exceptionally rude and refused to provide a receipt for the stay. Comfy beds. Decent breakfast. Incredibly high price for what you get. If you're here one business, don't expect a receipt. If you're a high ranking rewards member, don't worry, they'll treat you equally as terrible as everyone else. Don't expect a happy stay.

Fantastic location on a small hill. Well worth paying the small amount extra to get one of the view rooms looking over the valley to the mountains. The hotel is quiet with comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was an over the bath type with a shower curtain that was a little short and reluctant to stay inside the bath.

The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating! The hotel is on a hill with wonderful views of the mountain. It is not far from the lake and hiking trails. There were decent TV stations and there was a pool. The rooms look very dated so maybe this is an old hotel. Brown bedspread, brown, blue and dark green decor. It made the room feel very dark. The room was very pricey for what it was, but it was Memorial Day weekend. I would stay here again!

We stayed two nights here while attending some events in the area. Check-in was pleasant. We were on the second floor, so be aware that there's no elevator. The room was pretty average, clean enough. Beds were okay, not great. The room was very noisy - you could hear the neighbor next door, and you certainly knew whenever anyone in another nearby room took a shower! As seems to be the norm these days, there was no room makeup. There was only enough coffee for one day, so we had to go and hunt some down for the next day. Breakfast was a joke. We were told it ran until 9:00, but when we went down at 8:30 there was almost no food left. They have a waffle iron, but there was no batter. I asked the person who was overseeing the breakfast room for some batter, and she said she'd have to mix some. Huh? Never heard of that before. I noticed several other people asking about batter as well, but she never did make to put out. Instead, she started making waffles herself, and then then went around and asked who wanted one. Took forever! We finally gave up and left. The second day we didn't even bother - went and had breakfast in town. The problem is, there aren't a lot of choices in Enterprise, so maybe this is the best you're going to get. But I certainly can't recommend the place.

We're seniors and have stayed in a lot of hotels here and abroad over the years. We liked this property. The room was pretty standard, but standard-good, well-kept, not shabby, and not pretentious. The staff was friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast over and above. It's a short drive into Joseph, out of the hustle of that area, quiet, serene. Get a view room and just breathe in the amazing scenery. We'd book here again.

I was just visiting the most gorgeous place on earth. The rivers mountains and lakes are always a friendly reminder that life is good. The hospitality you experience in Wallowa County is like no other. It is without a doubt if I could move back here tomorrow I would. You won't be disappointed I promise.

We stayed in October, and I loved the view, especially the fall colors. We even saw a deer. Also, it was very quiet, which made our stay even better. The staff was so good to us. The owner went above and beyond to make our visit great.

Had never stayed in this town, but the motel was just lovely. We will definitely use it again when we visit there again. We really Hate duvets, was a happy discovery that they do not use them. The colorful quilt made the room more inviting than the usual dull white that many motels now use.

We looked at several "pet friendly" places in the Joseph/Enterprise area. SureStay had the cleanest and best outside area for our dog by far. There is green space around the motel and places car-free to walk. The room was clean, the price was reasonable and the view was incredible.

FREEZING COLD POOL. ROTTING BANANAS IN LOBBY SMELLED HORRIBLE. EITHER TURN THEM INTO BANANA BREAD OR THROW THEM OUT. THEY ARE AN INSULT. TELEVISION IN ROOM WOULD NOT CHANGE CHANNELS. THEY MOVED ME TO A NON-VIEW ROOM, EVEN THOUGH I WANTED A VIEW ROOM. I ASKED IF A VIEW ROOM WERE TO COME AVAILABLE FOR MY 2ND NIGHT, COULD I HAVE IT. TURNS OUT, UPON MY CHECKING OUT, I NOTICED THEY FIXED THE TV IN MY FIRST ROOM AND RENTED IT OUT WITHOUT OFFERING IT TO ME. POOR FORM. ANDY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS NICE. THE STAY WAS NOT WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR, HOWEVER. THIS WAS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MYSELF AND I WANTED TO SPEND TIME WRITING, SWIMMING AND LOOKING AT THE VIEW. IT TOOK TWO HOURS FOR THE F.D. MGR. LADY TO FIGURE OUT THAT SHE COULD NOT FIX MY T.V. SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER IT GOT FIXED, OR FIXED ITSELF IN TIME TO RENT THAT ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE THE FOLLOWING NIGHT. SURE, THEY GAVE ME A ROOM WITH A GIANT BATHTUB INSTEAD OF THE VIEW ROOM I RESERVED, BUT WITH A HOT TUB RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO MY ROOM IN THE POOL ROOM, I DID NOT REQUIRE A JACUZZI TUB IN MY ROOM. I DID NOT USE IT. FOR CHIEF JOSEPH DAYS IN THE FUTURE, WE'LL CAMP INSTEAD OF CHOOSE THIS HOTEL/MOTEL. DID I MENTION THE POOL IS FREEZING? I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ALLOWS FOR THAT. POOL CHEMICALS DON'T WORK, I'VE BEEN TOLD, WHEN THE POOL IS COLDER THAN 80 DEGREES. THIS POOL IS AROUND 75 DEGREES, I'M GOING TO BET. ICE COLD FOR OLD BONES.

Over priced for the area. Sheets were scratchy as was the pillow cases and coverlets. Towels were great. Mattress was probably nice when new, not so much now. Buffet breakfast was average. Room WAS CLEAN!!! Wi-Fi was adequate for light use. TV wouldn't accept a fire stick, couldn't change the HDMI input.

I got charged $40 for pillows. We asked for a couple of extra pillows because the ones we had were flat. She was claiming there were 12 pillows in the room, if that was the case, why would I ask for a couple more? When I called to ask about it, Management was rude and disrespectful. Claims the pillows were not in the room. For real, who the hell steals pillows from a Hotel??? I will not stay here again and will definitely dispute the charge. This hotel should consider getting managers that have good customer service. I was appalled.

Love this property. Have been coming here for business and pleasure for about two decades now, and I think I like it best now as a comfortable base for a Wallowa vacation. Amenities such as breakfast and the great pool really set it apart. My wife and I couldn't get over the view from our room, and we enjoyed just sitting under the shade of the trees at times and reading out front. Great place.

We spent 3 days here while visiting the Wallowas. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our view was great. The "continental" breakfast included eggs, sausage, and bacon. The property was well-maintained. And Joseph was just 10 minutes away.
