Best Western Plus Eau Claire Conference Center

THE GOOD: Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast had some good options each morning. Rooms were spacious. Plenty of parking. Fairly isolated but safe area. THE BAD: In need of some serious updating. Furniture in the room is old. Walls are thin- I could hear the TV in the next room. My bathroom kept making a high pitched noise - I alerted front desk and they just said that that just happens. Iron didn't work - just spewed out water; asked for new one but never got it. When I requested maid service they did everything but my bed. Most outlets on the lamps don't work. OVERALL: I won't stay here again if I'm in Eau Claire.

This location is great, just off the interstate and close to main roads in town. The prices are good and breakfast is pretty good too. They have a pool and hot tub for relaxing, a fitness room and the dining area is always available to play games or sit with friends and family too.

Been coming here for years and the New Owners/Management is awful. Never Again will I be back here. They walk around like you owe them something. Not kind at all.. The food was very Greasy and had a stale taste, like it was old. The Pool and Hot tub had a dirty film all the way around. Better Hotels Close By..

THIS place rocks! Friendly staff everywhere! Clean large rooms! We stayed in the King Suite that was almost 350 square feet with a large living room with a TV and then the king bedroom has another TV. The breakfast is really amazing for being a budget friendly hotel chain. They have a farm fresh yogurt machine that just is the best yogurt I have had! They have a container of toppings for it, too like blueberries, choco chips and granola. Fresh REAL cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereals, oatmeals, waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits, a coffee machine and then reg. coffee. So much GOOD FOOD! The hot tub was nice as was the pool. They also have a little bar and grill with decent eats called Black Bear Bar and Grill.

We have family in Eau Claire and decided to treat ourselves by staying at a hotel in the area for the night of Monday 12/25/23. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and they were working on updating and painting things within the hotel. Not that it bothered us. The bed was comfortable and the windows opened. Breakfast was very good. The best waffle I have had at a hotel. We will most likely be happily staying here again at some point in the future. Only slight negative was that the TV did not have many channels and we did not bring our computers. It is just something to be aware of, if it really matters to you. Thank you for a lovely and restful evening.

Very nice staff - 8/10 breakfast - could change the lineup more often - clean rooms - great location - nice amenities - could use a 25 year clean-up (not dirty) but new paint, fixtures, motiff - great location - great value - has good bar and breakfast (continental)

Best Western Plus Eau Claire is my go to hotel as I need to stay in Eau Claire numerous times during the year. Number 1-A is that it is conveniently located in a quiet setting, off the main roads, and backed by the Chippewa Valley bike path. However, it has easy access to EC and I-94. 1-B is the facility and rooms are very nice. 1-C is the staff is always helpful.

Don't waste your money here. Bathroom was dirty. Room musty smelling with horrible mattress. Says breakfast included, but when you arrive at 9am there is no coffee and all of the hot food is empty. In addition the Fridge raddled all night

This place is a must if you visit Eau Claire. The staff is so friendly and willing to help. Was in town for my son's wedding and they made me feel at home! Weddings and travel are stressful enough, so having the staff be so awesome helped a ton! The room I was in was amazing. The bed OMG the bed, I have never had a bed that had me sleep like this one did. The breakfast is more than I thought a hotel would offer for breakfast. The bar and food were much needed after a long day for shuttles and flights. They did not disappoint. Love having a rubber ducky in the bathroom!! That was a little touch that made it all the better. This will be my home away from home every time I come to Eau Claire!

You won't be disappointed staying at this hotel. Super friendly people to check you in. Delicious cookies at check-in are an extra treat too. Our suite was very large and clean. Good breakfast selection and very tasty.

Hotel was adequate to stay at while moving my child back into UWEC. Overpowering odor of air freshener all throughout hotel. Room was functional although key reader at first room was not working. Expensive for what you get.

This is the best place to stay with your family because it's very clean, best service, friendly environment, staff is very nice . Very clean rooms and very good breakfast. Alot of stuff was out of order Pool Hot tub, fryer in lounge. Not informed when we checked in. we had a fire drill last night there. we planned on relaxing in hot tub have drink in lounge but too loud to enjoy, bartender profanity.

When I called for reservation I asked for a third floor. We were told at check in only second floor was available. Could hear people walking above us and children jumping off the bed into the night. We had a two night stay. Hotel removed our personal items from the room after day one. later in the day the desk gave us a key to our room and other guests luggage was in the room. We were given a new room with a TV that was broken and a shower that needed repair. We never received all our personal items back.

I need a decent dark roast coffee in the morning. This is the first time I stayed at a US hotel that has a European coffee machine with a variety of choices along with the excellent coffee supply in the dispenser.

I booked this as a last minute deal on the night of July 1 after driving for 9 hour so I was a very late arrival. Staff was great, and the bed was very comfortable. Very clean and quiet, and I felt safe while staying solo. Hot shower, and a very nice breakfast. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly. I enjoyed my few hours of rest here before getting back on the road.

Good hotel right off interstate. Plenty of breakfast choices. Bed was comfortable but sofa could have been better. Fairly updated but curtains could have been changed out as ours were ripped and held together by clips

Everything was great breakfast bar hot food biscuits snd gravy were delicious !!!eggs bacon toast bagels muffins all were fresh peanut butter yeaaaaa Coffee anytime , bathrooms clean all was very good no complaints !!!!! Very Friendly staff awesome time !!!!!!!

A nice property with good staff, located on edge of town with easy on off access to Freeway, bar was closed by time I arrived on this trip but have stopped in on previous trips and had good experiences.

I spent almost $170 a night for a hotel room and when I got there the place was running with kids (hockey tournament, not there fault) so they had the hot tub shut down and because it is under renovations the place is a mess our room was extremely dusty the bedspread smelled awful and nasty. And last nut not least the breakfast was beyond terrible they tried to serve us cold bad food!

Pool and hot tub are set at perfect temps and perfect for our family. Breakfast is convenient and clean with enough options for everyone. Front desk staff was extremely accommodating and very welcoming and helpful!

Decent place but the hot tub wasn't hot at all! The room was clean but could be re updated. Breakfast hours didn't work with my hours so I didn't use the continental breakfast. Close to I-94 but have to drive into town a ways for most restaurants.

My family stayed one night in Room 201 while taking a tour of UW-Eau Claire with our eldest daughter. There seemed to be a small problem at check-in since it took a little longer than usual due to some issues verifying my room information on the computer but nothing major. I would rather wait a few extra minutes and get it right the first time. The room was a suite and included two queen beds and a fold out couch. I slept on the fold out since I stayed up late and snore loudly. I had no problems sleeping on it. There were two TVs and one of the remotes wouldn't turn on the TVs so we just traded back and forth. My wife thought the carpeting was a little dirty but it didn't bother me. We brought our dog with us and I thought the room was appropriate for her and I thought the extra $30 charge was reasonable. The internet was spotty and at times it wouldn't work at all. The problem seemed to be worse in the room with the beds. We didn't complain since we were able to adapt. I am not a person who believes that a big deal has to be made over every little thing. My wife and daughters used the pool and whirlpool and were satisfied with the facilities. The breakfast was decent in terms of quality and food options and about what I expected since this was a Best Western and not a Ritz-Carlton. We got to there about 30 minutes before it closed. It would have been nice if breakfast was served until 10 AM instead of 9:30 AM, especially on weekends. I noticed an employee was restocking some of the food items and she brought out more chocolate muffins when I asked so my youngest daughter could have one (I may have had one as well). I liked the make-your-own waffles, particularly the machine that made mini waffles since initially there was only enough batter to make two small waffles before more batter was added to the dispenser. I asked a front desk employee if we could check out an hour past the 11 AM checkout time and she agreed with no questions asked. I also appreciated the generous military discount. I am giving this hotel all 5 stars because the service, value and proximity to UW-Eau Claire outweighed the minor negative problems we experienced. I would certainly stay here again and hopefully I will because it will mean that my daughter has chosen to attend the university here rather than a much more expensive private college! Also, Randy's family restaurant (rated #1 on Tripadvisor) was very close and the food was excellent.

Very nice property in a convenient location. Staff was uniformly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was a real bonus, with both hot and cold offerings that changed from day to day, and served in a bright, clean room that felt like home. Very comfortable bed and very quiet room - even the air conditioner was quiet.

Negatives - King Suite isn't a suite - Room worn out, broken lamp shade, sat in a hole in the couch, air conditioner loud rattle and bangs and kept us up, shower scary if you need a hand hold to get in and out, remote didn't work, carpet grungy, bar only if desperate Positives - Breakfast fantastic, good mattress, accepts pets, well lit halls, easy parking, not very far off highway, luggage carts

There was loud road noise all night long. The squealing brakes from semi's really got to be annoying. Really disappointed with staff and reservations. We reserved for 3 nights but learned we would only need 2 nights. Husband works in healthcare and learned that a couple of his co-workers had covid and he needed to cover. We asked to cancel the last night in plenty of time for management to rent it. They said no and we had to pay for the last night! There were issues with toilet - we had to flush it many times to get it to flush. The BR sink plugged up and would not drain. Why do you put senior citizens on the third floor, way down the hallway?

After traveling across country staying in marginal hotels we stumbled on this wonderful, nicely priced, hotel. For an included breakfast, their's one was exceptional! The staff was great. Their small grill and bar has a wonderful cook!

We stay at many Best Western Plus lodgings and most are updated, clean and comfortable. This one appeared to be dated; mattress was a bit unstable meaning; if the other person moved, the bed/mattress moved. Otherwise, good that it was there as the downtown hotels were completely booked!

I should have slept in my truck and showered at a truck stop. This place looked ok in the lobby but as soon as we booked our room and headed down the hallway we knew it was a dirtball place. This place might have been decent 15-20 years ago but nothing seamed to ever get painted or cleaned. our room smelled like a stale cig and the beds had such a big hole like they have never been replace. I should have stayed at the holiday inn express as I have booked with them about 25 nights a year and never have any problems.

We have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns this year. This was by far one of the best. The beds where very comfortable, and the rooms were in good condition. The hotel was overall clean, and the staff were very courteous and pleasant. It's always nice to get a chance for a hot breakfast, and this did not disappoint.

Felt ripped off, price-wise. Strongly recommend that you confirm room rates, tax and total before you hang up the phone, then get it in writing and take it with you when you go. This app is requiring me to write at least 200 characters, so I'll say it again: Confirm everything before you commit.

Jose is the best person there and the place is very nice and organized! Love it and the waffles are great. The only bad thing about it is a weird smell in my room but it wasn't that bad. It's not too expensive and you get your moneys worth.

We could not shower because the faucet stuck out about 2" out away from the wall and there was hair in the tub along with on the back of the toilet. In the morning when we encountered housekeeping staff in the hallway we simply said good morning to them and they looked very grumpy and unhappy to be there. the breakfast had a wide variety and the staff seemed very friendly. when these issues were brought to the front desk staff they did apologize and gave us a few bonus points.

Hotel a bit run down and not as clean as one would hope. Found a pair of someone's socks in the room. Blinds for window where ripped and did not close all the way leaving a gap to allow light in and people passing by to see in.

Dirty room floor. Not sure if top sheet was dirty or had large burn/brownish black stain. Had to ask for replacement. Pool area has nearly dead plants for inside "decor". Would be better to have fake and throw dying plants. The hallway floor going down length of hotel to various room was filthy. It's dark colored so you can see everything. This was mid-day.

We were in town for an event at the university that one of our daughters was participating in. As usual the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. WOUld highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Great hotel, with nice amenities as well as great, and friendly customer service. Breakfast was very good with waffles and yogurt with all the fixens as well as hot eggs. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean and outside sounds were minimal.

If you are looking for a nice, clean place to stay while traveling, this is a great place to stay. The bed was very comfy, the breakfast service area was very clean, overall a very pleasant place to stay.

We took a weekend trip for my boyfriends birthday. We stayed in a king suite. The room was clean, staff was very nice and the bed was more comfortable then my bed at home. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful setting, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean room and all the small details that you would want. We stayed 2 days and didn't find anything to take a mark off for this place. Front desk people were absolutely terrible. After I checked in they bothered me more than 6 times via phone and in person at my door at 9:45pm regarding a refusal to have my state issued ID photocopied at check in. If they would read the ordinance it clearly does not indicate to photocopy IDs! Talk about a security breech waiting to happen! I am no longer "welcome at this hotel" for asking that my private information not be photocopied. Ummmm, yes, i have no intention of staying here ever again. You do not understand your responsibility to the police ordinance.

We stayed here one night after randomly finding it. It's one of the better best westerns we've stayed at, tho it was pricey. But, the room was huge and the bed was the best hotel bed I've ever slept on. I did not want to crawl out in the morning. Bathroom was a good size, and breakfast was a standard Best Western breakfast which isn't bad. I would definetly stay again if in the area!

Really disappointing stay. Leaking sink, clogged bathtub. Weird, dated decor. Using the sink and having water splash on my feet and legs? Not ok. Taking my morning shower with dirty water up to my ankles? Not what I'd call an acceptable experience. The front desk staff said the manager would contact me and make an adjustment in my bill, which quite frankly is the minimum action acceptable. Apparently the manager decided to ignore my sub par experience, so I'm sharing it - maybe can help someone else avoid the same experience

I liked every aspect of this place from the decor, room, beds, comfort, great pool area, and awesome little bar plus a lot of room in the breakfast area with good food. Also very good friendly service.

Was there for work and it was a very pleasant stay. The bed was too soft for me but that's just my personal preference. The man who works overnight was super helpful, friendly and happy. Makes a huge difference to feel welcomed when you're traveling. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I was really, really disappointed with this hotel. I usually trust fellow traveler recommendations and TripAdvisor ratings. This hotel had one HUGE detriment that will keep me away from future stays. We were there when it was very hot out and air conditioning had to run constantly. There was a huge moisture and mold problem in my room. The carpet was moist to touch, everything smelled and my clothes also got moist when left in the room during our stay. The smell of mold was quite strong. The rest of the hotel was fine - staff was friendly but not necessarily very responsive to our comments at the front desk about the moisture in the room. I was tempted to give this a rating of « 2 » but that didn't seem fair as the it was one problem making it a less than desireable experience. I suspect the air-conditioning was not draining away from the building. Hope others have a better experience than I had.

This was the best place I stayed on my vacation was able to have kids and other adult in one room price was great..staff was great thank you for everything…the staff can promptly to fix a problem in our room even though was minor was just an unplugged carbon monoxide detector they were there promptly

Staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable! I was staying one night for work and one for fun. The Front Office Manager Brianna went above and beyond in separating the reservation to allow separate billing and applying of tax exemption. The breakfast staff was also amazing (I think his name was Ira), and helped making the waffles! The price was reasonable and lower than the others in the area. I would definitely stay again!

Would never stay again. Room smelled old and smoky. Tv didn't work and check in person was only one working and could not help. Room was small and felt dated. Lighting so poor. I'm sure there are better accomodations for the price

The staff were caring, kind and the hotel is well maintained with a beautiful room. Upon check in our room was ready, always a plus! The bar was closed due to no bartender so Katie at the front desk was both checking people in and serving drinks - smart thinking. Ira was monitoring breakfast, he was so attentive food was fresh and available - I watched as he helped travelers clean up such as spills or clear tables. Best device at a hotel, highly recommend.

Very clean hotel steps away from the Chippewa River State trail. Dogs are allowed-$30 fee-and there's lots of room outside to walk your pet. The bed was comfy, the customer service was great, the bathroom was spacious with a good shower, and breakfast was good. Good sanitation practices in place during COVID-19 Delta variant outbreak. We were in room 323. We didn't have a problem with outside or hallway noise. Unfortunately, the a/c unit in our room was super loud, it woke us up when it came on early in the morning! That was when we noticed that there were window screens, so we could have had the windows open instead of using the a/c!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and will return in the future. The staff is friendly & professional. The breakfast is delicious and quick. I travel with a dog and I have enjoyed the surrounding grounds and the friendliness of the staff.

the suite we got was a surprise and a good one. We were expecting a room with a disk and a microwave and a fridge. There was a separate with a close door to separate from the bedroom: section like a living room (ence the suite) with a couch and a desk that I used for business. Zoom Meeting.

Everything was great during our stay. Check in went smoothly, our rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was served hot to us by the staff because of covid. The pool and hot tub were nice.

I just want to thank the front desk ladies Katie, Brianna & Chandra on an excellent job well done. Treated my entire family like as of they were their own. Everyone was pleased with the rooms and amenities. Everyone loved that they we're serving a HOT BREAKFAST and not just a brown bag to go breakfast. I defiantly recommend the Bear Bar & Grill! The food coming out of the kitchen was AMAZING! Someone should give that cook/chef a raise! Plus not to forget the banquet staff who knocked it out of the park! All around i give this hotel a 10 out of 10! We'll be back!

Here on Business, there is a great trail near by with river views and some great places for photos, Alex....the bartender, is great and the staff are very helpful. The room I got was huge too! Will stay again.

We spent two nights at this hotel over Easter weekend 2021. The front desk staff were more than helpful when it was discovered that I made an error and accidentally registered at another Best Western location that I didn't realize had recently converted from another brand. I was able to get my reservation at the wrong location canceled and then checked in at this hotel. Because they didn't have a regular king room available, they gave us a king suite for the same price! It was a very comfortable room and spacious. We so appreciated that! This hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good - hot items served by an attendant (much more than at other hotels where we have stayed on our recent travels) and a variety of choices. The bed and pillows in our room were very comfortable. The lobby and furnishings in this hotel were attractive and well maintained. We didn't dine at the restaurant as we were visiting family on this stay. Overall, we had a really nice 2-night stay, and we would definitely return to this hotel in future.

A nice comfortable room with a very comfortable bed. The staff that assisted us were very nice and friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool area. Good selection of breakfast foods and it all was tasty.

We were in town visiting our college student. As usual the room was comfortable and clean. The pool area as well. Breakfast was hot and very good, the staff manning the breakfast bar both mornings was friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

This hotel staff goes above and beyond to help with your stay. Their Covid protocols made me feel completely safe staying there. There is a waiting period between bookings for the rooms, breakfast is served instead of help yourself. They have made a difficult situation work.

Our room was much more than expected. I am confident about their cleaning practices. The BEST BED AND PILLOWS EVER!! We came to Eau Claire to visit a friend. We were reluctant to travel and stay in a hotel because of Covid. I read the cleaning practices on their website. From the appearance I believe them!

Spent 1 night on the way through in a King suite. Room was clean, spotless, looked like they put a lot of thought and effort into cleaning and covid precautions. Was an excellent stay, only recommendation was that they put a trash can in by the toilet. Desk help were helpful and cheerful; able to answer questions about supper ideas. Could not have been happier with our stay

Great check-in experience with Brianna, comfortable and restful room during our stay, and special kudos to the hard-working breakfast staff, delivering guests a hot breakfast on request despite distancing restrictions. The scrambled eggs and bacon were excellent, for a free hotel breakfast. Only drawbacks were a bedroom blackout curtain that wouldn't fully close (seems these never work right) and most concerning, several hotel guests and a hotel staff member not wearing masks in common areas, despite a state requirement. The non-masked guests seemed mostly from a team of contractors staying at the hotel long-term, while the unmasked staff member, an administrator, was walking in the hallway to the front office. We get it's tough (but not impossible) to enforce mask-wearing among guests, but it really needs to be consistent among guests AND staff, or else guests will wonder what else staff members aren't doing that they should be doing....

My first experience at this location started out on a bad impression. Long day at work and then waited in the lobby for a while to be greeted and get checked in. Then to wash my hand in a sink that has gunk and mold, then almost dry my hands in a towel full of little tiny curly hair (disgusting). Next morning, used the towels to dry myself from a shower, they smell like they've been there forever.

Stayed in King Suite on top floor, was quiet and clean. Front desk staff was friendly, efficient and careful with new Covid precautions. Breakfast options were plentiful and served with a smile from staff. This hotel allows pets; so be aware if you have allergies.

I had the pleasure of staying at this Best Western recently with my grandchildren. Rooms are clean and very roomy. The customer service is great - from front desk person to bartender in pub and breakfast lady. I would recommend staying here to anyone going to Eau Claire.

Wonderful service at this hotel and it's super close to bike trail. the Hotel does not seem like a 3 star. The room smelled a little funny, like an old smoking room. The food at the breakfast was very good.

We have stayed at this hotel many times with a college student at UWEC. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area. From check in to check out the entire stay was great! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food at the restaurant was very good and the icing on the cake is they have an actual hot breakfast during these times. they have staff serving the food who are friendly and happy to be there.

Wow! What an awesome experience we had last weekend at Best Western Plus Conference Center in Eau Claire WI! From the clean, comfortable rooms to the on-site restaurant to the perfect conference room to the fabulous bartender at the bar to the pool to breakfast...it was all wonderful! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My favorite part of it all was the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and so nice!

This place far exceeded our expectations. The have all of the right precautions in place for Covid and we always felt very safe. Their breakfast service is incredible, and their people are incredibly friendly and service-oriented. The location is great too - just minutes from major highways and all of the incredible things the Eau Claire downtown and Riverfront have to offer. We'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location to anyone in the area!!

I chose this hotel because I often stay at BW hotels. I had a great stay. The property is located close tot he freeways and minutes from downtown. Within 2 minutes you can get to restaurants/food options. The area is safe, the parking lot well lit. The staff was very courteous and friendly, they showed they care about the clients. Breakfast had all the usual choices, there was plenty to eat with 2 choices of protein. It was the full breakfast, they have to serve it to you due to the Covid but they were super fast! Also, very quiet!!! They have a pool and spa which I used plenty and a bar downstairs. I will stay again!!!

We had 2 rooms directly across from each other. Both rooms were immaculate!! The hallway, elevator & stairwells were also very clean. If you are concerned about Covid 19 cleanliness than I would recommend staying here.

Our family was passing through on our way to North Dakota. We stayed here because we need a room for five. We found they had a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed, which worked for us. The room had a separate bedroom and sitting area. There was a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The sink was outside of the bathroom which helped more than one person to get ready at a time. The breakfast was available in a bag, to-go or was the typical breakfast, served by an attendant- to meet COVID 19 guidelines. My only issue with our stay was the room smelled strongly of smoke. Both the bedroom and sitting area had a strong cigarette smell. I did not ask for a different room, since we needed that specific type of room to fit our family.

So....my sister who lives in EC made a reservation to have her 8 year olds birthday party there. Everything was fine until 10 minutes before check-in when she received a call saying that because she was local, she could not rent a room there! SERIOUSLY!? What kind of rule is that? And to notify her with basically no notice. Luckily my other sister who lives in MN had a room for the night and we were able to still get together. The room was dirty and the mini fridge did not work. It had a layer of dust on the top of it and gunk inside. Clearly it had not been cleaned in some time. Pool area had no towels and only half the jets in the hot tub worked. Staff was rude and did not seem to care about these issues that were brought to their attention. All I know is that for what the price of the room, it was definitely not worth it. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not go back! 0 star rating in my opinion

We had a great stay at this property. The front desk staff was nice and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the innovative way of handling breakfast: having the food served. The same great breakfast and coffee. The only thing I would change: One guest was sitting in the breakfast coughing. Sick people shouldn't be allowed in the breakfast area ever. I wish she could have been asked to leave or put on a mask. But, I don't really blame the hotel. The employees aren't paid enough to deal with people who have no consideration for others. I am just noting it here so high risk people are cognizant that the area is open to everyone. We kept our distance and brought food to our room.

Our mattress should have been replaced years ago. The desk chair had tears in the back. The toilet was 15" tall. If you don't think that means anything, measure 15" and try and see how easy it is to get up and down. I've never seen a toilet that short. This could be a good hotel but is way behind in maintenance and hard goods replacement.

Our host Brianna was very disrespectful of addressing conflict. She decided to yell at us while we were in the parking area for complaints that we did not know about until that time(10:00pm). As an average human being, we respect people who treat others how they want to be treated. There forever, we would have immediately stopped talking and playing music outside as soon as the complaint/problems came in. As a person, we wouldn't know there's a problem unless someone tells us. Absolutely the worst experience at a hotel ever.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They still served a hot breakfast during these trying times. I feel they did everything they could to make our stay feel as safe as possible considering what is happening with the virus. Easy on off of highway. The only down side is there are not a lot of restaurants close by.

Hotel was great. Got an upgrade to a king suite which was nice. It was clean and well maintained. Disappointed when I wanted adult time in the pool area and during adult hours (10-11), there were four kids. Three of them had been unaccompanied by an adult and if they are under 12 (which at least one of them was), they needed to be, according to their rules. And the other one (Caucasian) had his mom and grandma with him but he wasn't kicked out at 10 (adult time). The three African American kids were. That doesn't seem right to me. (And no I'm not African American). Don't get me wrong, I like kids (I'm a special education teacher) but if I wanted to be around kids, I would have gone during the all ages time. I wanted some quiet and relaxing time in the not so hot hottub.

Everyone was nice. Due to the pandemic, precautions were taken. The staff served breakfast and separate the tables. The only flaw I've seen is a small wallpaper patch and bust in wall the size of a quarter.

We had never stayed at a Best Western and you never know what you will walk into with booking online, but we were so pleasantly surprised that we opted to stay an additional night. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all genuinely friendly! Our room was very clean and comfy. We had a blast in the pool area too. It was very clean and kept up beautifully! We will definitely stay at a Best Western Plus the next time we need a room!

The hotel is an easy off / easy on from a major highway. The environment was quiet. I loved the decor in the hotel. The staff was funny and helpful. I felt welcome there. Breakfast was a normal spread of hot and cold - it satisfied my whole crew. The hot tub was the right temperature and right next to the pool. I saw a workout room and a game room. There was a conference Center attached to the hotel as well.

For us the hotel was very well located. Close to everything we wanted to hit. Room was clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable. There were a lot of children in the hotel and it wasn't as noticable as other hotels.

There was some sort of family party taking place in the lobby the night we stayed. Cooler of beer, doritos, cookies... drunk adults in the lobby while a huge group of loud pre-teens took over the pool and hot tub, completely unsupervised. At one point I counted 16 kids in the hot tob alone. And walking through the lobby felt like walking through a bar. With an almost 2 year old, it was such a disappointment staying here. The room itself was clean and well maintained, but we weren't able to use the amenities and our room wasn't ready until an hour and a half after the stated check in time which left us with no where to go and a child that needed a room to nap in. Front desk staff seemed less in charge than the people drinking Coors light in the lobby for HOURS. Oh, and the SMELL of those kids in the breakfast area the next morning was enough to make anyone's appetite disappear.

We used the pool which was great considering how cold it was outside. Nice amenities for price. Breakfast was awesome compared to other continental breakfasts at other places. Definitely great choices!

we came here for a comedy show, which was very good as well, and decided to stall overnight. The room was awesome and the staff did a great job from checkin all the way through checkout. We were a little disappointed with the food from the restaurant, the meat was very tough. although tasty.

This was a business trip to Eau Claire. This hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a very nice bar/restaurant and pool facility. The complimentary hot breakfast was very good.

My son is medically complex and we often travel for doctors appointments; this hotel is the best we've stayed at! Not only was the staff understanding/caring, but they also took his needs into consideration when choosing which room to place us in (farther away from the elevator, lower floor, etc.). The amenities are great, and the cleanliness was top notch. Would definitely recommend!

Our hockey team received a "group rate" of $135/night when we reserved a block of rooms. We were informed that some people hadn't sign up before the cut off and might receive a higher rate. When they booked, they got the same rooms for $99/night as well as some relatives that came that weekend.

Comfortable,clean, front desk staff very friendly, nice that it had an on-site restaurant. Pool/hot tub was nice & love when there are chairs & chaise lounges & lots of nice towels in racks, on chairs & tables.

The service was awesome , rooms where very spacious and clean bottom line is I would highly recommend this place,the lobby was very welcoming , the only complaint would be all the dog poop in front of the building

The staff was not friendly at all. We weren't able to use the breakfast lobby after breakfast to just sit casually and visit with family. We liked the hotel room for the price and the location was good.

Fire alarm by these kids scared everyone no help from emloyees. People were awoke to the alarm but no help came went down to front desk but they were hiding from the punks who pulled alarm I told them who did it but they wouldn't call police or even help

Hotel was quick at check in and check out. People were all very friendly and helpful. There were no problems I encountered on this stay. It was just for one night for only one person, but the experience was best western excellence.

The hotel had great decor, breakfast, and internet. I had dropped some items in the morning and two ladies helped me pick it up, which I appreciated. It was in a quiet area and as I drove up I had noticed the great exterior experience. I went inside delighted I chose to stay there as the lobby was inviting and warm.

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western Plus Eau Claire. The room was great, the staff was wonderful. The motel was convenient to everything around Eau Claire. It is great they have a lounge on site. Very nice pool and weight room.

We were in town for my daughters a capella concert. This hotel has been our go to for quite some time got a good reason and this stay was again very good. The only issue was that some of the hot breakfast items were cold. This has never happened before and I am sure was a one off. Already have our next stay booked.

We just spent one night here. It was very nice and clean. Lobby was nicely decorated with a beautiful fireplace, and a Christmas tree. Our room was spacious and the bed was wonderful. We were given water and chocolates, which was a nice gesture. And on the bathtub, there was a cute Christmas ducky sitting on the bathmat. it was very quiet, and I never heard anything while we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights here, waiting out a MN blizzard. One of the cleanest Best Westerns I've stayed at. Front Desk Staff extremely helpful and checked weather updates for me. Also allowed me flexibility with adding an extra night or last minute cancellation. My dog and I ended up staying 2 days/2 nights and really enjoyed the fireplace in the lobby. Room and bathroom both spacious and there was even a cute little holiday rubber ducky on the tub. Cute touch :-) This hotel was exactly what I needed waiting out the weather.

This was a last minute stay during a snow/weather event while driving through the state. The hotel wasn't very full - but the accommodations were more than sufficient. You shouldn't be expecting any high-end accommodations - but this is a clean, modern appearing hotel that will suffice for what it is. The hotel appears to be new or recently renovated and in excellent physical condition. It does have an attached small pub/bar - but we ate prior to arrival since we didn't see there was a restaurant. The burger I saw served to someone else looked somewhat legit, though. There is a large lobby with somewhat limited seating and a large fireplace. The continental breakfast is typical, nothing special, but had eggs, sausage, and cold fixings the morning we took advantage of it. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for it's clean and modern appearance. There were some loud dogs barking on the first floor, but I would fully expect this to be handled by the staff accordingly had it affected my room.

Fold out bed was very bed, mattress was thin and could feel every spring. Toilet was loose from floor and wobbled, bed in suite was very comfortable but with door closed other room got cold. Turned on fan for heat in main room and it was very loud. Room was clean and fridge worked good unlike some other places we have stayed. Clean all the way around just needs a few minor repairs.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Check in was a breeze. Clean hotel. The vending machine has a wide vatiety of drinks. There is also a little game room off the pool area. The beds and pillows could use an update, but not terrible.

The hotel has been very clean and well decorated. The people up front at the desk are very helpful and friendly. Conner has a great personality and is fun, funny and professional at the same time. He helped us on the phone last night for another reservation. We cancelled that one to stay here.

The hotel is conveniently located. The exterior is drab and dated looking however. I expected more for a conference center. We booked a king suite, and although it is a nice room and layout it had a weird, musty smell. Peeling paint in the bathroom, which had a not very clean floor. The corners were caked with gunk. The breakfast was lacking. No eggs shortly after 8am. Took so long to be refilled that we had instant oatmeal with lukewarm water and the last container of yogurt. They were not busy either, only 1 other guest was present. I had a BW rewards voucher I used on this visit, I gave it at time of check in. It was not applied and even after asking the check out clerk to apply it, which it appeared she had, and printed out for me, it has not been applied to my charge card. I have been charged the entire amount with no corresponding credit. Overall, this hotel needs a spruce up and attention to detail.

Very courteous staff. Clean and well kept rooms, lobby and restaurant. I've been here 4 times before and always a relaxing experience. Restaurant food is good with breakfast offering reasonable ss well.

We stayed here to attend the memorial service for my mother. We had previously stayed at another hotel for all of our visits in the last three years (3x/year) and I thought Best Western was better than the other hotel.

We stayed for one night on our way back home. Glad we found this hotel. It is very clean, the lady at the front desk that checked us in was extremely friendly and throughout. I wish I'd had gotten her name. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed! The lobby and breakfast areas were also clean and neat. They had some board games in the lobby which is a nice touch. Breakfast was good as well, hot coffee and the usual continental choices. This was a very good experience, if ever in the area we would definitely stay again. Oh, I almost forgot! They even have a rubber duckie on the end of the shower for you if you care to take a bath! Lol!!

Beautiful PLUS facility. Great Staff who go out of their way to assist you with any area questions or concerns. The room is top rate and the pillows were even good since most hotels have all switched to the worst pillows.....this facility was clean comfortable and just right!

We enjoy staying at this hotel, we are in the area about once a year, and always stay there. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's very easy to get to and from the freeway. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

I have stayed at the hotel a few times on business when I am in northern Wisconsin and have never been disappointed. The management and staff always treat their guests like royalty and are always helpful in answering questions. I will continue staying at this hotel when I am in Eau Claire.

The pool is great, nice size for a hotel pool. Water temp could be a little warmer, but I like it warm. Hot tub in relation to location of the pool is excellent. You can go right from the pool to the hot tub easily and quickly. Rooms were good. Clean. Bed was a bit soft, but okay.

The hotel offered a comfortable stay and was very clean. The service was nice and welcoming. Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast, but had great some great additions. The price seemed just a little high, and breakfast can get busy.

Moving our daughter back to UWEC. As usual a very comfortable room, great service and a great breakfast. We are already looking at booking here for our next trip to visit. The service is very good. The hotel restaurant is small but very nice with good sandwiches (they have other entrées but we have only ordered sandwiches there) .

Booked this hotel after altering our plans and checking out of a dump a day early. What a great relief to find a hotel that put guests first. From check in to check out the staff was friendly, thoughtful, and very service oriented. Clean rooms, clean bathroom and quiet. The bar and snack bar was small and crowded but great service. I'd like to help them with their beer and wine selections, I didn't check out their spirits. They did have one non alcoholic beer which was good.

Super quiet-- slept like a baby! Close to highway but out in the country in the trees. No highway noise and very comfortable bed. Awesome breakfast with a very kind and cheerful attendent. We are very impressed and highly recommend.

Wife and I stayed here on vacation. We were driving through and needed a pet friendly place to stay. The hotel is nice and we'll kept. It was full so we had to get a suite and it is an additional $30 for our dog to stay. With taxes, we ended up paying $180. The breakfast was what we expected with various breakfast offerings. I would stay here again if needed.

This place was awesome! Great beds, fantastic pool, wonderful breakfast and the people were very polite. The rooms were extremely clean with lots of little touches that made it special for everyone. We will be back!

Warm and very comfortable. Safe, secure, quiet area. There are attractions all around for all family age groups. You can go North or south a few exits on the highway and still feel secure, safe, relaxed, refreshed and relieved that Eau Claire is a very modern city with all the amenities needed for a family vacation.

We stayed for two nights on a weekend. When we arrived the front desk staff was very polite and welcoming despite making it known her shift was over and she was waiting for co worker to arrive. When we got into our room and unloaded our luggage cart we checked everything out and unfortunately noticed the bathroom had not been fully cleaned. My boyfriend went back to front desk. He came back we had to load everything up and change rooms. I would rather have had someone just cleaned up the rest of the bathroom. We got settled in our new room. The weekend was great. Despite the hotel seeming busy it was quite. The breakfast was great. Wish it ran a little later than 9:30 on the weekend. We always got down about 9:00 food was always hot and fully stocked. Plenty of options. Hotel is located a bit off of main drag but in safe neighborhood and great location. Close enough to highway and restaurants and coffee shops. Beds were comfortable and shower water pressure was great. We will be back.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Ohio and this was a great stopover. We got great service from every staff member that we dealt with. Since we're Diamond Select members, we got a fantastic rate and an amazing room. The property itself is quiet and well kept. The hotel is easily accessible from I-94 at Exit 65. We plan to stay here again on our way back home. A+ stay.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel. It is just off the interstate, and just on the outskirts of Eau Claire. Easy to get to, a quiet area. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. She even mentioned a UW rate we could take advantage of, even though I already had the Best Rate, because I am a Rewards member. We saved an additional $10! We were on the first floor, pretty close to the lobby, so there was some noise throughout the evening. But, no enough to bother us, even though we are early to bed. Everything was clean, the WI FI worked. We brought our Roku stick and our streaming worked perfectly on the TV. It is normally an easy route through the back streets to get to UW Eau Claire. We had some problems this time because of city construction. Breakfast is just fine, nothing elaborate. Nice for a family. The only improvement I could really suggest would be more than one toaster. Many people were waiting around to get a turn.

We were in Eau Claire to visit family… Check in went smooth… Room was clean… Lobby and eating area inviting .... Breakfast choices could be kicked up a bit… Eggs needed a little attention… But all in all the experience did fit our needs !

Best Western Eau Claire offers the very best complimentary breakfast I've ever had. Hot dishes change each day, fresh fruit (whole and cut up is always available as are the usual waffles, sweet breads and juices.

I say without a doubt that this Best Western is the best Ive been to. Very clean, in excellent repair and welcoming staff. The breakfast was hot, delicious with many choices. It was kept fresh, filled and neat. I was pleasantly pleased. Our bike group of 40 people stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Have stayed here 40 times in over 15 years, always updating as needed, welcoming and friendly staff, especially Brianne (Brie). Amenities are good and very close to everything Eau Claire. Breakfast is hearty, and they do have an onsite restaurant and lounge.

Was here for a church conference. Friendly staff. Conference room and area was nice and spacious. The conference restrooms were nice and good amount of stalls. Staff refilled and completed requests in a timely manner. Rooms were clean and everyone enjoyed their stay. Thank you!

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are always clean. Internet works good. Facility is in the perfect place for me, close to restaurants, work and the interstate. The facility is quiet easy in and easy out. The lounge is nice and they have good food as well.

Booked this hotel over the phone and was offered membership in hotel club which reduced price. Well worth the participation. An exceptionally equipped and run facility. Checked in by a very friendly Brianna, the Front Office Manager, who made sure my stay would be satisfactory. She wished me well for my evening meeting on my way out the door and asked how it went upon my return. Elevator to third floor room spacious and clean. Room had King bed, couch, occasional table, full bath, large screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, closet and two stands for suitcases. The desk, adjustable chair and internet connectivity were much appreciated to complete business related computer tasks. Much appreciated are the multiple outlets for electronic devices. It was possible to easily adjust room temperature to my liking. Even though room faced a very busy intersection, noise was minimal. Very comfortable bed with a somewhat softer mattress than encountered in other hotels. Inclusive breakfast offers variety of choices from waffles to prepared eggs and sausage patties. Liked the rubber ducky greeting me upon entrance to the shower. Hope to stay here again some time!

Every employee I encountered went out of their way to be pleasant and to go above and beyond to assist. My grandsons enjoyed the pool immensely. I mentioned a loose door knob, which was more an awareness than a complaint on my part, to the bathroom. The maintenance man was very responsive and was diligent in getting it resolved right away. And he acted appreciative that it was brought to his attention!!!

Originally booked because the hotel is pet friendly ($30 charge). Very glad we paid a little extra to bring our dog. The hotel is really nice, clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is above average for your normal hotel, it's not so small that you felt crowded when other families showed up. They have a game room off the pool area which our daughter loved. We had a basic double room which was more than enough space for a family of 3 with a dog. They had a good selection at breakfast (eggs, chicken sausage, French toast) and your normal waffles, yogurt, pastries. We will defiantly go back to this hotel when in the area, I won't be shopping around for another hotel.

An unexpected family emergency brought us to Eau Claire needing a hotel for the night with our beagle dog. Checking into the hotel with no reservation was no issue, she was able to link to my BW rewards account and provide the discounted rate without asking. Given our situation, we were unsure if a second night in the hotel would be needed. We requested a hold on the room until 3pm (checkout is typically 11am) until we had further details, which again was no issue at all for the staff. We did end up needing the second night at the hotel, and upon checkout the staff immediately asked how the family was doing. Very caring and thoughtful! Overall staff was great - were able to provide a few simple amenities (paper plates and plastic utensils) that went a long way with us having ordered food. Overall extremely satisfied and we will absolutely be back if a stay in the Eau Claire area is needed in the future! Also, dog owners - this hotel is within walking distance to the Eau Claire trails, extremely convenient when traveling with a furry friend!!

The Internet service is outstanding! Amenities and breakfast were better than most. I opted to earn reward points by not having the cleaning service every day and the staff was great in providing necessities quickly.

Grandson who is 18 and I went on a one night road trip to Chippewa Falls to the Mason discount shoe outlet. It's not about the shoes even though we both got a pair, but the opportunity to bond and enjoy a cool trip together. We shared the driving and realized this may be our last trip together as he will be going off to college in the fall and it was so nice to stay at this really really nice hotel. Wireless Internet was important to my Grandson and it is March Madness so I was interested it the TV and the basketball games. Also their was a very nice pub/lounge even though we did not avail ourselves of it, but was nice to know it was there.

The staff was very friendly when we made the reservations and remembered to put in the notes that we wouldn't be getting there until very late. Super easy check in, our room was super clean with tons of pillows! I loved the added touch of ear plugs, although we didn't need them. The breakfast was really good with omelettes, chicken sausage patties and fresh fruit! We will definitely stay here again!

Feels like home whatever I stay here always have nice conversations with the staff they're very courteous very laid-back I've never had anyone there there always great something wrong there always willing to fix it you guys are great hotel keep up the good work

Expensive and you have to pay for the coffee pods that are used for the in room coffee pot provided. However there are free dog treats in a bowl at reception counter.? This is filled every day. Mind you.. nothing for cats and they require paying customers to pay extra for coffee? This is not an inexpensive hotel... will be finding a different place to stay for my semi yearly visits to EauClaire

Very handy location next to 94. Everything was fine (reception, getting the room, etceteras.) except there was no bar/grill on Sunday. Therefore had to go out (which was not hard to do.) Also, it was crowded at breakfast (several families with multiple kids) and the bacon ran out. No one was there to deal with it for a while.l

We we're impressed with every little detail at this hotel. The tea in the lobby, the beautiful pool area, the cleanliness and provided amenities in the room. Heater in the bathroom worked great since it was a cold exterior walled room - they have fixed it up Nice and more than accommodating. Nice bed. I woke up more refreshed after hot tub and that bed than in I don't know how long. They really know how to run a good hotel here!

Great staff, very clean rooms, and the continental breakfast was fresh and inviting. I would pick this hotel again. We arrived very late and the gentleman at the registration counter had our paperwork at his fingertips...you don't see that anywhere, very impressive.

We arrived and were directed to the brewski's pub and we were so happy to have met and been served by Ryan. What a great dining experience and enjoyable conversation and fantastic service. We had a very fun and relaxing night thanks to Ryan. We will be back!

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend this place. There was plenty of parking and it is a great location very close to plenty of restaurants and the University of Eau Claire.

We travel to Eau Claire for our son's college music performances and to visit. This hotel is located in a great area in a very nice town with a fun atmosphere. The hotel staff are always accommodating with EXCELLENT SERVICE

I went there for 2 nights, because I had a competition in Eau Claire. The room that I stayed in was nice and open with 2 queen sized beds, a nice flat screen TV, a makeup table with a light up mirror, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower,mirror,toilet,sink,a bar of soap, a mini shampoo bottle, mini shower gel bottle, mini mouth wash bottle, 2 bottles of body/hand lotion, mini package of makeup removing wipes, mini package of cleansing wipes, 2 body towels, 2 feet towels, 2 face towels, 2 night stand, an alarm clock, a coffee machine with filters and plastic cups, desk for workspace. The hotel includes a big pool, a hot tub by the pool, dinning room, a nice fire place with a big TV in the lobby. The hotel price includes free breakfasts. All in all I would give this hotel a 4.5/5

We were greeted with smiles and when arriving in our room found two water bottles and two Andes chocolate mints that were greatly appreciated.I was also recognized as a rewards member and was treated as such.

I was there for business and was very impressed with the hotel. From check in, to breakfast, to the business staff - all very good. Brewski has absolutely amazing food. But it needs a restaurant. 7 or 8 tables don't do it. I travel quite a bit and hotel restaurant is usually okay. This beats it, but please, give them a real place, not a closet.

This hotel has always been a good place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast. Close to where I'm going. Close to restaurants. Intersection to hotel is under construction but easy enough to enter.

I liked the location, I got a good rate, but I must have had an old smoking room because the odor hit me right away when I walked in the room. Normally I would ask to be placed in another room but we were in a hurry. The room was clean, it just had a stale smokey smell when I first entered. This is not a new property but it appears well maintained. I enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. There was ample parking and the layout of the hotel was good. The front desk did a great job and there was no issues there. I plan on giving it one more try when in the area but will ask for another room if there is an odor issue.

There was a time I did not have a good view of Best Westerns. However, this is the second Best Western I can say I felt quite comfortable in. I reserved two rooms for my family. Both were very clean. I was initially concerned about noise because we were right by the vending and ice machines, but once the doors to our rooms were closed, we could not hear anything. We enjoyed three quiet nights. The rooms were relatively modern and the staff were friendly.

My husband and I checked into #103.within a minute I discovered soap scum in whirlpool Went to front desk.I was given the Spic and span to clean the whirlpool. $60.00 was taken off the 300.00 bill. It shouldn't be my job to clean the whirlpool. I have tried to upload photos.the sight isn't letting me.

This hotel has been nicely updated. We were there with family. The staff were very accommodating, offering help before we asked more than once, going above and beyond what you might expect.. we saw the desk clerk greet guests by name several times. We will likely be back.

good room and bed, good shower and towels. The location was just where we needed for going to our other locations. Good, friendly help and service. Breakfast scrambled eggs could be better, and stronger coffee would be nice.

The bed was very comfortable after the long day of riding cycle, but, I hate those springy foam pillows. They give me a neck ache in the morning as well as hard to sleep on.Coner P at the Front Desk was fantastic. We had to cancel an extra room at the last minute and he did it with no extra charge.

I am on the committee for MS River Road Run and every year we plan a 500 mile ride (250 each way) to different destinations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, well this year our over night stay was at the Best Western in Eau Claire. The staff there were all amazing from the person at the front desk to the house keeping. I applaud the staff that catered our function, they went over and above. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, the pool and hot tub were well kept up. Thank you to all for making our event a great time. I give this place two thumbs up.

We stay here every time we come up to see our grand kids. We can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The place is well kept, very clean and up to date. The food is wonderful and they have a very nice pool and hot tub with a nice view. We also enjoy the extra large suite with sofa that gives us enough space when we have 5-6 visitors. We are so glad its next to our sons house because we plan on staying here every time we come up.

Room was very clean, a bit of frayed carpet at bathroom door and a broken curtain rod however it still closed well enough, just minor things. Again clean room, nice bedding. Oh, little coffee maker did not work, made do with coffee from nice breakfast area.

Make reservations as soon as possible. This hotel is popular and fills up quickly. Upon arrival you do not want to leave the hotel for a meal? The bar/lounge has excellent food, great service and is reasonably priced..

We stayed here on Sunday August 5,2018. Checked in around 3. Hotel easy to locate. Front desk service was fantastic. I didn't get her name. Sorry. She was fantastic. Showed us the room first before we committed to our stay. Room(king suite) was quite nice. The hotel appears to be an older building from a different chain years ago. Room was very clean, a little dated. Some furniture was chipped. Good size. Sink is located outside of tub/shower/toilet area. Bed was good, a little soft for us. Pillows and linens were good quality. Fridge, microwave and ac worked well. The helpful young woman at the front desk recommended some dining ideas at our request. We ordered delivery from one of her dining recommendations. Very happy. Pool and hot tub very nice. A little older but very clean. We would stay here again without hesitation..

This hotel was easy to get to just off the interstate. Eau Claire has ongoing construction throughout the city, but we were able to get into the hotel. When we got to our room, the air conditioning fan was running full blast, but it was definitely not cooling. Refrigerator was also not on. We went right back to the front desk. The lady working was very nice, and immediately moved us to another room down the hall. This room's AC was working just fine. The hotel was quiet, even though it appeared that many construction workers were staying there. No noise in the morning at all. TV was easy to navigate. Breakfast was OK. make your own waffles were available. Bacon, omelets were already made in the heater. Then the usual, bread/bagels to be toasted, OJ, milk, etc. Nothing spectacular, but plenty to eat. Did not try the pool, we were exhausted from a college visit. The room also had an old fashioned binder with all kinds of hotel information in it. A map of the city and nearby restaurants and stuff like that. (Hotels these days are doing less and less of that)

This Best Western was the best that I have stayed at. I am on business in multiple different states and I always search out a Best Western. This hotel however, was heads and tails above all the others that I have stayed with. From the moment I called to book a room to the minute that I left the property, I was treated like the most important guest that they had. The owner, management and staff are to be congratulated

We spent the night here while doing a college visit. Clean, comfortable, and a nice breakfast. We had a king suite and it was very spacious. My only complaint is we couldn't get the WiFi to work. The area is very quiet, nothing to walk to that I could tell but places to eat were within minutes by car.

We came in for a family event and stayed here based on a recommendation. The hotel and pool were clean, our room was spotless, and the pool was nice to boot! The staff members were all nice & friendly, too! Our favorite part was the complementary breakfast - there was a great variety of healthy and sweet options! Even the coffee creamers were delicious! I will definitely be back!

We came into town for my nephew's high school graduation party. We needed to find a hotel in the area and this one had a high star rating, includes continental breakfast, and was conviently located. I do not often do reviews, unless, I I'm very satisfied or very upset. In this case, extremely satisfied! The hotel was very clean, which is always most important to me. The staff super friendly! And, the continental breakfast was the BEST that I have EVER had. And I have had quite a few experiences as I am well traveled at my age. So, I will give this hotel a 5 star rating because I would go back and Will look forward to it.

I did have some problems with room placement upon my arrival, however the staff handled it with ease. This is a nice, clean hotel with very comfortable rooms and beds. I had a very restful night. I felt their "Pub" was an after thought as it was very small and not very welcoming. BUT there are nice places to eat down the road. I would stay again!

Almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong with this room. When I first walked in, the room smelled like "butt". They did come and spray some orange scented air freshener, but it was just a cover-up and did not last through the night. The air conditioner worked, but it seemed to go from too warm to too cold all night, whenever it would run. Also, my soda froze in the refrigerator overnight, and when I went to take a shower, I had two conditioners and no shampoo! However, the bed was very comfortable and the rest of my colleagues had very good experiences.

Stayed here as part of a large group and was very impressed with the facility, food, and staff. The room was clean and comfortable with the much appreciated microwave and fridge. Our only complaint had to do with the very small bar that was not nearly adequate for large groups.

The front desk guy, don't remember his name, was extremly nice and helpful. I went to the front desk to request items several times and he was always very helpful and pleasant. It was a very pleasnat stay.

This is a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and slept well here. The bed was kind of bouncy but fairly comfortable. The room was spacious and functional for us. Good location.

This hotel was the last in 23 hotels on my long road trip. It was my favourite stay. Staff recognized my diamond status and the room I was given was spacious, clean, quiet and well thought out. The staff pays attention to detail and I appreciated the thoughtful little items like the cute rubber ducky. Such a happy welcome. I loved this place and will come back here for sure.

We arrived very late early morning hours to a smiling face and a warm bed. Throughout our stay we were in and out to the hospital for our brother. And even one of the employees, Conor, had remembered that and asked about him the next time he saw us. Many are quick to point out flaws but few tell you the good things. Well I can't think of one flaw. Everything was totally wonderful especially during such a hard time. I'd like to thank Conor and the other employees who helped us.

This hotel was pretty average at best. There were paper numbers on the doors and the number was missing off my room. Aside from that, the bathroom in my room wasn't very clean. Ultimately, it was an okay stay, but there are other places in the area that are a better value.

This hotel has excellent service! I stay in hotels almost half of the year, so I appreciate great service, and comfortable, safe rooms. This hotel has lovely, quality furniture (actually the best quality I have seen) which is also very comfortable. Very clean! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you.

A very nice visit in Eau Claire, Wi. Easy access off highway. My mother who is 91 stayed there and appreciated being able to swim using the handicap access chair. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub the perfect temperature. The beds are comfortable. The sheets and pillows were nice and soft. Staff is friendly. Check in was quick.

I have stayed here 3 times: once in 2015 and twice in 2018. The shower was amazing this last time, with different settings and intensities! The staff is friendly and helpful. The second time the bed was a little too firm for me but fine for my husband. I would like more healthy options for breakfast but at least they had real yogurt and real fruit. Very easy access to the highway yet still quiet. They really pay attention to details: earplugs, water and a chocolate mint ;)

Stopped here on the way from Michigan to Minnesota for Easter. I made the reservation in the car and hit the wrong room type. It wasn't a problem at all! Connor at the front desk happily fixed it for me. He was so friendly and kind! Later that evening we ordered pizza and had it delivered to the breakfast area while our kids swam. Connor went out of his way to bring us plates and napkins so we didn't just eat it out of the box. After that, he went to help a family who were struggling with the vending machine. What a great employee!!! Kind, thoughtful and hardworking!!! Our room was clean with a nice mattress and great bedding. Breakfast was very good as well--we always love the waffle machine and the batter here was extra tasty. An added bonus---pet friendly! They even have dog bones at the front desk for their furry guests. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town.

The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Lots of variety to please everyone and delicious. Unfortunately, we all tossed and turned through the night because the mattresses were so firm. The stairwell needed a good vacuuming but the room itself and the rest of the hotel were clean. Pool temperature seemed cold.

Everything meets a high standard. I'm so happy I found such great hotel to stay at. The young lady at the front desk was exceptionally welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, with all of the amenities I needed.

Checkin was easy and they remembered that I had asked for a king room if one was available even though I booked in a block for a convention. We were here late so the only one that was left was by the ice machines. Instead of simply giving me that room they warned me and let me decide before I took the room! That was really an extra attention to detail that I wasn't really expecting. The beds were comfortable. I actually slept great! The only issue I have is that the housekeeper the first day after our check in really struggled. She didn't give us new towels, or shampoo, and didn't leave a bathmat. The bed was curiously made up and still kind of a mess leaving me wondering. We hung a "do not disturb" sign and flagged down housekeeping for towels and replacement shampoo the rest of our stay. It seemed easier. The complimentary breakfast was about what I'd expect and suited our needs just fine. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Thank you for a clean and quiet stay.

The hotel personnel are very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel was packed (2 rooms left) for a tournament, yet you would have thought that we were the only guests in the hotel for the service and attention we received. Our room was clean and had plenty of room. Nice to have the refrig as we brought leftovers from going out to eat (They do have food there too but we had made plans with family in the area for our evening meal.). Even though it was busy, our room was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and they kept all the food stocked despite the number of people grabbing a bite to eat. We definitely will return as we have friends and family in the area.Highly recommend this hotel for any get away.

Th rate on this hotel at the time of our stay was very reasonable, We stayed here at the beginning of January this year. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very spacious. The bed was very comfortable as well. The room was clean. Nice sized bathroom too! The staff were very accommodating, especially the woman looking after the area you have breakfast in. The breakfast was very good and there was a nice selection of tea. The tea was also very hot, which in my past experience isn't always so.

We stayed here on Christmas Day as well as one time since then. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay!

We stopped here on New Year's Eve and were very pleased with the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and furnishings in very good shape. The bed and the arm chair both were comfortable. We had prebooked the hotel and the rate was very reasonable.

The staff was very accommodating for our group. We wanted to have some drinks all together once everyone got in and they let us setup in the main lobby and didn't bother us after that. It was very nice.

Pool room was frigid, pool was icy, hot tub jets were broken. Breakfast was fabulous, but if you want to hand out there in the evening to play games, its is absurdly cold as the front door was broken for the 3 days we were there. The attempted to satisfy us by getting us a meeting room for our group, but then we were yelled at for having our kids in there with us because they were running around in the room with us and they we were reprimanded again that our children were not supervised (while we had them tucked in and watching movies.) Worst experience I have ever had in an better hotel.

We stayed here the day after Christmas and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and the room was clean as well. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've had, but maybe it was just an older mattress that hasn't been replaced yet? I still slept ok on it though. We would stay here again.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Hotel was clean with all amenities, conference room, pool, free breakfast and even a restaurant on sight so we didn't have to go out in the cold if we did not want to. Good location - easy on/off Highways and near UWEC campus.

We had a nice, quiet, uneventful stay, which is what we were aiming at. Nice generic rooms, comfy beds, and a cute rubber ducky in the bath. Good coffee, close to the clinic, restaurants, and shopping.

We held our family Christmas at the hotel/conference center for the second time. Everything went great. The entire place was very clean and setup perfect. We needed 1 more table for entertainment equipment and it was there in minutes. The food was great and plentiful. Thanks to Pam and the entire staff for making our holiday time together great. We will be back again next year.

Our five night stay was quite pleasant in every way. Very friendly staff, nice suite, and comfy hotel bed. It's location was a huge plus for us. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again, when we are in the area.

This hotel has a very modern, stylish lobby that would be a comfortable place to meet someone you have a professional relationship with. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, and the breakfast was exactly what you expect at places like this. The pool is nice, though it's a little strange that the breakfast area looks directly into it. The woman at the front desk was attentive and friendly, even after she had just finished an overnight shift!

This hotel has it all. The hotel has a fresh appearance with all the bells and whistles, but a competitive rate. The key is the staff that seems to genuinely care about the customers experience at this hotel. Access from the major high way was very easy, but not so close that you hear all the noise. Great location for the city access also.

Driving through and needed a place to stay. When we saw the reviews we decided it was a low risk. The rest of the reviews are on target, this is a great place to stay. Staff was genuine and friendly, we were checked in and our room was ready in a matter of minutes, the location was right off the freeway exit (but not close enough to be noisy), and the breakfast was delicious while the breakfast area was very kept up and clean. We were there for a short stay, but it looked like they also had a very nice swimming pool. The price was decent, but considering the experience and quality- it was a great value!

We were extremely pleased with the accommodations at this very large hotel. Our room was very large, with a great bed (most important!), desk, chairs, and television. But the next best part was all the little things, like Q-tips and cotton balls in addition to the usual lotions, shampoos, etc. A cute little rubber ducky sat on the rim of the bathtub atop a towel! Breakfast was just as amazing, with sausage patties, fried eggs and English muffins to make your own breakfast sandwich. OR you could make pumpkin spice waffles (or regular) OR hot oatmeal with pecans, raisins, brown sugar OR toast, yogurt, etc...all the normal stuff. We were in town for a family wedding, but the convention center is available, and there was a wedding reception/dance happening in the ballroom. This is a great place to stay, regardless of your plans.

The staff at this hotel is top notch! From the phone calls I made, the check in going more than smooth to the issues I had with the room, I really can not complain. We were in the king suite which is very spacious and refreshing in a hotel room. I will say I do not recommend using the pull out at this location. Small issues we encountered, our room did not lock but we had the maintanance person within 30 minutes of the time I reported it. I also feel the room smelled a bit musty - the hotel was fully booked for the weekend otherwise I would have requested a new room. The breakfast area is roomy - the food available is pretty standard. My kids loved the pool area and to have it open til 11pm was an added bonus. The bottom line - will I stay here again? Yes, it is close to the college campus and the hotel is charming and the staff is excellent. The small added attention given like duckies in the the bathroom and water and mints in the bedroom are special touches that are not seen in many hotels. It's the little things that make it a special place to visit.

The hotel impressed us with its warm and hospitable décor as well as comfort and convenience. We held a large business meeting here and were served by very competent staff. The meeting room was set up beautifully, sound and lighting were excellent, and the lunch was impeccable. Looking forward to having our annual conference their again!!

This was one of the nicest properties Ive been at in a while! I travel 200+ days a year and this hotel was one of the nicest and quaintest places I've ever been to! The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. I checked in and was in my room very quick! Clean rooms and maintained by a staff that clearly cares. Thanks for a great night and I will be back on my next trip!

I loved my stay at the Best Western in Eau Claire. It has been years since I've been in a BW, but there were so many nice amenities for our stay: water and chocolate in the room, makeup remover wipes, mouthwash, plus all the regular lotion/shampoo/conditioner. Wish I had stayed in a BW sooner. And breakfast had a way to make an egg/sausage breakfast sandwich in the morning. It has been a long time since a hotel chain has impressed me and I've been in a Fairfield, Hampton Inn, and Hilton Garden in the last couple of years, which you think would be better, but they were not. The WIFi was easy to get on to and also was strong and worked well, didn't cut out like I've had happen at others. And BW didn't nickel and dime us for all the amenities. Some parts of the rooms here were a little worn, but that is the case at some of the other hotels I've been to of late. I will be looking for BWs now when I go to book at other hotels.

Nice stop on our way to St. Paul, Mn. Staff was very helpful! not a bad price, breakfast was pretty good with some nice options, waffles, eggs and sausages, good coffee! Lounge/bar area could use some updating, but was still not bad! Great weekend for our sons football team (St Norberts), they won very handedly. Hotel was only short distance from the other college in Minnesota.

We had a very nice room. The location is close to UWEC campus and it was very cozy and inviting when you walked into the hotel, decorated in fall with a nice smell of apples and cinnamon I think in the air. I would deffinatly stay again when visiting my daughter.

We were visiting our daughter at UWEC for family weekend. We had a nice stay at the Best Western. Very close to campus. Didn't eat included breakfast because we took our daughter out. A bit pricey but much nicer than the cheaper alternatives.

Great stay! Very beautiful rooms. Clean rooms and pool area. Great breakfast. Staff go out of their way for you! Close to all the stores and restaurants. Plenty of parking and clean parking lot. Reasonable rates.

Going to a Hotel for a wedding is always an unknown. The Best Western chain has been a family favorite for years but some locations have disappointed. This was not the case in Eau Claire. The room was impeccable, the breakfast was one of the best, and the guest services were anxious to please. Top Notch Stay!

Seriously. Just stay here when you're in Eau Claire. (But not too many of you, as I don't want them to be sold out when I want a room!) Terrific experience each and every time I've stayed. Professional, polite, friendly staff. Clean, comfy room. Really nice breakfast offerings. Really nice.

We recently spent three weeks at the Best Western Plus of Eau Claire. We were in town dealing with a family illness and death. During this difficult time, the staff was very supportive and did everything they could to be helpful. Everyone went above and beyond. I can not praise the service we received enough. I highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel in Eau Claire, WI. The entire staff was very friendly and very appreciative of us. Room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and food was very fresh. We were very pleased and had no complaints about this hotel.

We have stayed at this motel several times due assisting my sister with medical issues. Staff has always been helpful and professional and the rooms always were spotless. Am sure we will be staying again in the future.

Stopped here on our way to Mn. Late checkin, staff was awesome. Mattress was not so good. Reasonable rates. Away from crazy crowds, but close enough to campus. Not sure would stay again, would ask about beds.

My wife and I had our reception at the conference center and stayed along with many of our guests at the hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, the facilities were in pristine condition. Everything was perfect, thank you so much!

Nice and easy to find if you are from out of town. Not a 5 star but no real complaints.. The drain in our bath sink did not drain properly and I did kill a large black bug in bathroom but no big deal and okay.

Hotel is quiet, clean (except for bathroom corners, parking lot clean & well lit, staff very friendly & helpful. Location is a couple minutes out of south end of town. Otherwise average. Overall is a cut above similarly priced hotels in Eau Claire. Have stayed here in past & would stay here again

I frequently come to Eau Claire to visit my mother who is in a nursing home facility. These visits can be fatiguing. I always feel appreciate of being able to return to the BWP for the night. The staff is friendly and helpful and the accommodations are always clean, relaxing and very comfortable.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff was very professional, helpful, and kind. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was better than most hotels. They had jogging trails right next to the hotel.

The only complaint I have is the Lounge had very short hours they were open. 6pm to 10pm on weekends is too short for me to have a drink or 2. Could be open to midnight even would help. The hotel was very nice and clean other then that.

We always choose this hotel when we are in Eau Claire because of the warm hospality. The exterior is always kept very clean and inviting. The lobby has a warm home like feeling. The rooms kept up very well and supply all your needs including a Kurig coffee maker. Breakfast always includes hot items as well as a good variety of breads and Danish. The pool area is always kept very clean and enjoyable to rest and relax Great place to stay when away from home.

We were so grateful for a comfortable nights stay, our last of many on the road. The room was luxiourious and special touches like a rubber ducky on the tub and mint chocolates were unexpected. I really appreciated the upgrade to a suite that was made possible by my rewards card. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and a breakfast that was better than most hotel offerings.

We arrived late on a Tuesday afternoon and was efficiently checked in with a suite (6 per floor) on the first floor. Room was laid out a little unusual, with the bathroom and kitchenette adjacent to each other in the little hallway connecting the living room/office area with the bedroom. This was due to the fact the suite was rather narrow It was quite warm, and once we set the a/c (near window in bedroom - not central heat/air controls) to make the bedroom comfortable, the living room was too hot. If we got the bedroom down to 66 degrees, then the living room was comfortable. There was a knob on the wall of the living room that said "Fan", but it just spun around in circles and wasn't connected to anything. The first full day we were there, no maid service until 5:45 PM. The maid dumped 3 trash cans and then asked if we wanted anything else done. I said, Uh, yeah, clean the bathroom, replace towels etc as appropriate, make the bed....not stuff you think you'd have to tell a maid to do. We complained to the front desk, and all subsequent cleaning of a 5-night stay were very good, and done while we were gone in the morning. Hot breakfast in the morning was adequate. The selections included an egg option, bacon one day, sausage the next, waffles, cereal, fruit and bread/biscuits. Tons of free coffee and tea available 24/7. Nice size indoor pool and Jacuzzi, very small gym...a treadmill and elliptical and free wights, plus one of those machine that does about 20 exercises.. Lots of parking, and the rooms were VERY quiet. All staff, other than our first maid, were helpful and friendly.

I am a 71 year old American returning home with his wife. This place is fairly nice with some things going for it that mattered to us. There is an extensive walking/bike path right next to the hotel. The internet was fast and reliable. The selection of TV stations was VERY good. Room was fine but the paint on the metal frame around the bathroom door was severely scraped up. The hotel is not within walking distance of ANYTHING. It is surrounded by grass with an industrial about a quarter mile away. Most of the restaurants are at the next exit going south on I94. Value is about average in my opinion.

When ever possible do stay at the Best Western in Eau Claire, WI. Easy on/off the main Highway. A place of great comfort with very nice people. Our room had a sofa, coffee table, fridge, microwave all the comforts of home. TOP NOTCH

Dated, generally comes off like a tired old hotel, in need of some repair and better cleaning. In-room A/C units old, noisy, and inadequate to clear out humidity. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous.

Front-desk guy was just great, and the check-in was easy. Hotel is a little run down at the heels -- mold in the bathroom, large hole in the black-out drape, couch a little rickety. Bed was fairly comfortable although pillows were all tiny foam things. A little room on the first floor serves as the "pub" and offers a good selection of bottled beer and a decent menu of pretty good pub food. Breakfast was hotel typical. Just here for the night, but it would be OK for a longer stay. Rooms come with fridge and microwave, which would be good for a longer stay. Many newer hotels in the area. This is fine, but nothing special.

The staff and owner here are very friendly. There is good food for take-away or service to your room. The facilities are good, with a nice pool. Breakfast is included. They even have grab-bags for businessmen on-the-run in the morning.

We chose the Best Western because it would be very close to the Eau Claire Indoor sports arena, since since we had a martial arts tournament on the Saturday. We decided to stay two nights so we can have a mini family vacation as well. We got in early Friday afternoon, and upon entering the lobby, the staff were very kind and helpful. The kids were most interested in the pool and little arcade. They weren't disappointed. The rooms were comfortable, and the front desk was kind enough to exchange 5.00 in quarters so the kids can play the claw machines. We all enjoyed the breakfast, and turn over service was fantastic. The kids have decided that next year's martial arts tournament, our hotel choice will be the Best Western.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our bathroom was huge:). The room was clean and spacious. Will stay here every time I'm in Eau Claire. Very convenient and right off the freeway.

The Best Western Plus in Eau Claire was one of the most conveniently located and friendly hotels we've stayed in. The staff was phenomenal! We were within 5 miles from a wide selection of restaurants, the mall and movie theaters! Huge non-smoking rooms with insanely soft queen beds, a fridge, microwave, and anything else you could possibly need! After a wonderful night of rest, we woke up to feast of a breakfast that included fresh made eggs, sausage and waffles! I can tell you we'll definitely be back next time we are in Eau Claire. Thanks for a great stay!

I have stayed at a number of hotels in the Eau Claire area and this is the best value for the money. great staff, great price, nice little lounge. Easy access off the interstate and access to the south side business area makes this hotel a plus.

We really appreciated the friendly service we received here. The breakfast room very well kept and the food was a good variety. The bed was comfortable and gave us a good night rest. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Clean hotel, energy efficient and polite and courteous staff. Check-in was very professional and pleasant. The rooms were very nice and inviting with a comfortable feel along with nice amenities. My only complaint is the breakfast service, which I feel does not compliment the rest of the hotel. Restocking of breakfast items was slow and the area seemed to be under-attended.

Made a reservation a few weeks earlier so we could use up our best western travel shards. We had a king suite. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The lounge is small but very friendly to go in and just kick back and let the day go. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would be a good model for others to strive too.

The hotel was pleasant to walk into. Was greeted by staff immediately. Room was very nice and clean. It was a fun atmosphere to be in. It was far enough away from the main road, so that you did not get traffic noise.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus. Very spacious, clean, and updated room. We would definitely return to this hotel the next time we're in the area. Front desk staff was friendly. Only suggestion is to offer a better selection of items for breakfast.

I have never stayed in a Best Western Plus before and this was a nice experience. I appreciated the "Pluses". They were a nice touch. This hotel has all the amenities you would want And is a very good value.

This was a very nice hotel, but you could tell that corners were being cut and covered up. Dirt on the sheets and patches wallpaper. Reused notes from cleaning staff. Complimentary earplugs were concerning. Breakfast was nice, again, a little more effort could have made it excellent instead of just okay. Not a bad place to stop, but wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Eau Claire when we went to Country Jam! The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff were all friendly, and the breakfast was great! This hotel was on a bus route for the Jam. The bus option was AWESOME!! We did not have to worry about parking and the lines for returning at the end of the night ran very smoothly and quickly!!! We already reserved our room for next year!!!!

We love the customer service here. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was hot and ready and the bed was very comfortable. Connor went above and beyond to make us feel welcome as we arrived and our room was not yet quite ready. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and will be staying there again.

I feel obligated to give them a pass. My first stay but trying to be strickly BW for rewards points and its Country Jam here. They are busy. Room next door is flooded from room above toilet problem. Shop vac running for hours. I reported this issue based on water in hallway. Obviously problems. In a 2 queen room tonight room is smallish. Equipped with frig microwave and coffee maker. Ear plugs on night stand perhaps they knew. Room is a C+ wouldnt want to do an extended stay. Good for a 1 nighter. Did their bar/restaurant runs from 6-10. Only one there when I ate. Food was basic but flavorable. Beer was expensive. Perhaps a free beer with a stay. Seems to be norm. Felt they ignored my BW status and gave normal room waz busy. Did do the state rate. Likely unfair to pass judgement until my next stay but certainly had issues this time but likely based on Country Jam occupancy.

Our king room with sitting area was roomy and comfortable. The furnishings were "up-scale" with plenty of function and light. Rrefrg, microwave, and larger flat screen TV were nice. The bathroom had a large counter and was nicely furnished. Our room was very clean too! The breakfast area had nice tables and chairs with a large breakfast food selection.

Very clean and comfortable hotel . We were in a suite . The pool was nice . The hotel has a bar but no restaurant. The bar can provide bar food. There are many restaurants in the area. Good breakfast in the morning.

I stayed here twice in June, once on the way to Milwaukee, once back. I found this to be a very good business hotel. Everything worked, the front office staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were well appointed. Breakfast and Internet were excellent. A very nice feature was the two bottles of water and the 2 set of ear plugs provided in the room. They really do try to take care of their guests here. It is very close to I-94 as well. I would most highly recommend this property, and would not hesitate to book there again.

This trip to Eau Claire was unscheduled due to a death in the family . We arrived after a long day of travel . From the moment of arrival , this inn exceeded our expectations in every possible way . It was easy to find , quiet , and Good climate control . The staff was friendly , helpful and excellent on every way . .Next trip , this is our accommodation!

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room could use with a bit of updating but it was still pleasant. The breakfast had very few selections but what they did have was good. The pool area was being worked on so unfortunately we were unable to use it the 2nd day. The inroom internet was a bit slow but still usable.

We were on the Harley and needed a room - they were one of the last available rooms in the area and boy am i glad - What a great hotel to have stumbled upon!!! Will definitely stay again when we bike out that way

We had a family trip to Eau Claire and spent overnight here. Great location near restaurants and not too far from the children's museum. The breakfast was great and the kids all had something that they liked. It can be a challenge sometimes. The front desk was very helpful and went out of their way for us. Thanks to a top notch organization.

We had three rooms for three nights and a fourth on the final night. Only problem in those three nights was one of the refrigerator was not working properly. A nice, clean facility and helpful staff. Our third stay in two years at this hotel.

It was the perfect location for a 60th class reunion. The staff went out of their way to make you welcome and your every need was met. The suite was clean and comfortable. The conference center was convenient and welcoming. Excellent place to get reacquainted with classmates and their spouses.

Having a fridge and microwave are excellent amenities. When booking, I had paid for a queen suite with hot tub. I got a king suite, no hot tub. The front desk person was less than helpful to say the least. Not rude, just really not helpful. Based on this experience, I would not stay at THIS hotel again if there were equal options. For the town, during a festival, it was nice. Not where I would stay if I had other choices. Nice clean room thoug. For that 5/5 stars!! Beware though, make sure you PRINT a copy of your confirmation AND bring it with you. I really detest subversive tactics. I will pay more, but I better get what I pay for. Lastly, 11am checkout?!? Anywine traveling for leisure who does not have young children or who is retired needs a noob checkout.

Was a nice place friendly and helpful staff. Got in very late and was very accommodating decent beds nice rooms. The BW plus are very nice for the price. Comparable to a HI express. Had to leave before breakfast but if I remember right they have the nice waffle makers

This has been one of the better Best Westerns I have visited or stayed at. They have a decent breakfast, close to interstate, beds are comfortable. Looks like a nice swimming pool. Has a nice little bar. Just a nice place to stay.

Because this is a conference center they are a step above the others. The staff is awesome, with all kinds of suggestions for dinner. The hotel has an indoor pool and fitness room plus pretty good wifi in every room. They have a pub on site which we didn't use. Their complimentary breakfast is excellent. We actually made sure that we were able to stay here twice on our trip to and from Minnesota. Both times we went into town for dinner. The front desk staff gave us a map of restaurants along with their recommendations. We had a single room with a king size bed on our first stop heading to Minnesota and on our return we came in before "official" check in time and our reserved room wasn't ready so they gave us a free upgrade to a suite.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. We booked a king room and as platinum elite members were upgraded to a king suite with no additional expense. The room was unbelievable. Had a four post bed. The jacuzzi was delightful. The breakfast was better then most with eggs, bacon and sausage plus all the usual assorted items. The indoor spook and spa were also enjoyable. Would go out of my way to stay here again. It is the best BW I have ever stayed in.

I highly recommend this hotel!! I haven't experienced this level of customer service in a very long time. Great staff, rooms, facilities and location. Any time I am in the area, this will be my choice!

I had the pleasure of staying at this location while attending a local conference. In all my travels for work--I've never experienced such great customer service. They went above and beyond not only for me, but also my guests that I was meeting at the hotel. The rooms are spacious, water pressure in shower is terrific, no cost parking for your vehicle, no cost breakfast was delightful and the hotel is very clean and tidy. I want to give an extra special "Thank you" to Sally. I needed to use one of the conference rooms to meet with a client who is disabled and needs to sit in a quite location and Sally was able to make that happen. I'm already booking another stay there in July, 2017 for work!

This place impressed me like no other. It reminded me of how it used to be flying back in the day when customers were treated with respect and given full meals on trays and not charged for them. Remember? We were provided earplugs, complimentary water, chocolates, grab-n-go breakfast because we were in a hurry. The room was soooo spacious. Full-length two sink counter in the bathroom. Beautiful decor. Beds were good. My only complaint is that the wifi could have been stronger. I am so staying in a Best Western Plus, and all other hotels should take a page out of Best Western's book because they know how to treat customers!!!!!! Loved it!

The staff at this hotel is awesome. Very friendly and helpful, and great attention to detail. Room included complimentary water and mints, and a rubber duckie greeted even greeted us on the bathtub. Definitely would stay here again.

Despite some construction on the road immediately nearby, the hotel was spotless, well-kept, and very quiet. We caught a great night's sleep. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Well done. Also very close to other amenities -- food & gal. We were traveling with a small dog; her presence was no problem for the hotel.

Went away for Memorial Day weekend. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was nice. The pool was clean but a bit cold. The room was nice and conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our requests.

We were in Eau Claire to celebrate our son's college graduation. We called before our arrival (3 hours before check-in time) and we were reassured that early check-in would not be a problem...even though they were short-handed that morning. Our room was very clean and updated. My husband forgot his razor. The front desk was very helpful in providing one for us (including shaving cream)...free! Our breakfast the next morning was quite delicious. We will stay again!

If you are doing business around the area, I would recommend that you refrain from staying in this hotel if you need extensive internet service as part of your stay as it will compromise your effort if you want efficiency and effectiveness doing your job.

Cleanest Hotel I've ever stayed. Close to I94. Restaurant 'Randy's' ( family restaurant ) within 1 mile of hotel. Also shopping was close to hotel. Staff was very helpful with directions. Breakfast had any item that one would want.

The hotel and room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good with access to 94. They are pet friendly and our pups were welcomed. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend.

Room was a King suite, on the corner, nice and clean, two windows, one in each room, also air units in each room. Breakfast was good, warm eggs, waffles, sausage, coffee, juice, milk.. Fresh fruit all hours. We were with a wedding party. Meet many of the cousins at breakfast in the morning, it was a very enjoyable weekend.

I have stayed here for 3.5 years regularly for business. Always clean in my room and they always are exceptionally nice and go out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. I have come to know a number of them and they are always warm and welcoming!

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Friendly staff. Really good breakfast. Comfortable bed and the suite was great! Great location. Hopefully construction done soon as that was the only negative.

The only reason I am giving such a poor review is due to our check-in experience. This was my first, and may also be my last visit to a BW. We arrived at 3:30 and were told our room was not ready yet, and it would be no more than an hour. We were in town to go to a wedding, and as other members of our party arrived they were all given rooms. When we checked again on the status of our room, we were told the same thing, along with many excuses as to why so many rooms were not ready. I informed them we had a wedding to get to at 5pm, and needed to get ready. The clerk told us we could use the public restroom. Really?!?!? I asked if there would be some type of compensation for the inconvenience and she continued with the excuses. To me that is very unprofessional. Excuses are empty. We were fortunate to have a relative offer us their room to get ready in. Staff finally notified us our room was ready at 5pm. Two hours after advertised check-in. And if we were late in checking out I can guarantee staff would not accept excuses why we were late. We would be charged extra. When we checked out the clerk actually asked if I would like to be signed up for their rewards program. I laughed out loud, then politely declined. Besides the poor check-in experience there was NOTHING SPECIAL about this hotel. We are not familiar with the location so we went off the recommendation of the wedding host. No reason to stay here, with all the other options in town. I know we will be staying somewhere else next time.

Chose to stay based on last experience with BW+. Staff, property and room was very nice - modern. The property had a nice hotel bar with several local beers and pizza. Would stay here again on my next trip!

The hotel is easily accessed from the Interstate, and it is near many restaurants and shopping outlets. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very well appointed and had the "necessary" items such as microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, televisions and convenient electrical outlets.

I frequently stay at this hotel and I am always satisfied. Uber is available in Eau Claire now so it makes heading out for dinner and drinks very easy. The staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This was a get away for myself and significant other. We had a wonderful relaxing time and even got an upgrade in our room. The stay was great and the whirlpool helped make it that much more relaxing .

Everyone of the staff was kind and polite and helped in any way they could. The rooms were very clean, roomy and had everything we needed. Our Convention rooms were all in one area which many hotels are not able to do. The breakfast buffet was the best we ever encountered. First floor room by parking lot was quiet sleeping. I would highly recommend this hotel. They made our time very special!

I was in town for business and did not have a great experience at a previous motel I had stayed at. I switched to the Best Western and was completely satisfied. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The week we had to switch motels there were not many rooms available so we were upgraded to king suites. Room was amazing, bed was comfortable, breakfast was great, fitness room suited my needs and Staff were very friendly. Great place to stay and would definitely recommend to family, friends, co workers.

We stayed here while touring the university of Wisconsin River Falls. When we checked in, they told us that when we go we don't even have to move the car. You can see the building where the tour starts from the hotel!

I booked the Best Western for a conference in Eau Claire. Our stay went beyond our expectations for comfort and amenities. We will be booking here in the near future to visit family in the area. Highly recommend staying here.

Great location. We stayed one night. Good experience. Breakfast start at 6:30 , good breakfast with eggs, waffles, cereal sausage sandwiches Pool and hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Recommended this location as it located easy on and off the highway. Hotel was very clean with lots of parking. We felt safe and secured. Staff was very attentive to your needs. To complete this write up I am filling in enough to get the 200 works that this survey wants. So I will keep typing until I get the 200 words which is excessive as I have started all that I wanted to say. Still not 200 words yet so I will keep typing. May be one downfall of the time I have spent typing in this survey. I am trying to get to 200 words so I can submit this report. This is the creme dela creme of Best Westerns. The rooms were very large and well taken care of. They even had candies for free! the breakfast had everything you could imagine, even the holy grail of hotels... the waffle maker! and the staff were efficient and did their job very well!

I witnessed 2 questionable incidents in parking lot. Odor of cigarette smoke on first floor and paint odor on 2nd floor. Asked to be moved to 3rd floor. Stairwell quite dirty with smoke odor. Front desk staff was friendly

We stayed two nights. It was a nice experience. The room was in good condition, and the whirlpool tub was very nice. The breakfast had a lot of variety and you could even make your own Belgian waffles. The staff was very friendly. We would stay again for sure.

I stay here whenever I am in town for a seminar and all the staff is consistently helpful & friendly! The rooms are very nice, always clean and they provide a good filling breakfast in the morning. I always relax at night in the hot tub after a long day of meetings! Conveniently located too, right off of I94!

Great staff, clean rooms and lobby, small bar, and good breakfast if you are ok a basic breakfast (cheese omelets, bacon, waffles, yogurt, etc.). May not be the most luxurious hotel in the Eau Claire area, but is the best value compared to the many places I have stayed.

When we arrived I was informed that we had failed to show up for our pre-paid reservation THE NIGHT BEFORE. I had my correspondence on my iPhone and there was no contact from the motel with a confirmation of my phoned in reservation. The on duty manager was the one who took my phoned in reservation, and my money. I insisted that I had never received the email confirmation he said he'd sent, but he called his boss to o.k. our securing a room, who then called back in a few minutes and said to correct the error and honor my paid in advance reservation. When he handed me the print out - I spotted the error ... my email address was grossly misspelled! Mystery solved. I never got their email because of that. Thanks for their professional handling of the situation - but I've learned a lesson - NEVER PAY IN ADVANCE for a motel room! The room was a very attractive suite, well laid out. Unfortunately, the plug in room "freshener" has been left set on MAXIMUM SMELL! Fortunately, the windows did open and the exhaust fan cleared out the overwhelming bouquet of a terribly sweet smell. All in all, the stay started out a bit rough, but everything got smoothed out in the end. And, best of all, it was very pet friendly, easy in and out, etc. The motel is in a strictly industrial area with no traveler oriented business in sight. It's right next to a divided highway so in order to get to a restaurant you will have to drive. In spite of the close proximity to the highway the room was quite quiet and comfy.

We stayed in an accessible room with a whirlpool tub, which was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, even for my wife, who often struggles with hotel beds. Though I was not travelling on I-94, the hotel is very convenient to it. The man at the front desk when I checked in was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room has just one washer and one dryer, and you have to put everything through the dryer twice, which cost this place its fifth dot. Breakfast was typical of this level of hotel.

Very friendly staff clean Good value breakfast was nice an d they had soy milk which was a pleasant surprise Coffee was in the bathroom which did not work for me but since i dont use those coffee makers was not an issue

Very clean and large rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Average type breakfast served at most motels. Quiet rooms. Close to restaurants, shopping, University. Chippewa River trail approximately one block away.

Our suite had a lot of room, a whirlpool tub, microwave, fridge and even an ironing board! Flat screen TVs in main room and bedroom. Rooms all were clean as a whistle and smelled clean, too. Our bed was very comfortable.

We enjoy the standard we have come to expect from Best Western. The room was well appointed, clean and restful. We found the ed very comfortable, and love the extra pillows. A drip in the pool after traveling was great. BW are always helpful with allowing motorcycles to park undercover. The room was very sound proof, allowing for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was serviced by happy and friendly staff. Also the front desk was will to accommodate any needs.

Convenient location for two weary travelers. Staff so friendly. Got upgraded to suite at no cost. Met my disabled husband's needs to be near exit. Desk clerk so accomodating. Gave us excellent restaurant suggestion, Milwaukee Burger Co Grill & Pub where we had our first fried cheese curds, cheese beer soup and delicious hamburgers. Thank-You!

Our quilting group meets her twice yearly. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly . Our room is clean and comfortable- the bed is very nice- which is important when you are sewing for 12 hours.day!! Breakfast is good - and the catering staff did a great job for us as well! Have to recommend for groups like ours its perfect!!

I stayed here one night on a Saturday. The parking lot was packed and I did not hear a single sound in the room. I was on the third floor away from the elevators and stairwells, but still, no outside or internal noise. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Check in was quick and friendly too. The breakfast was OK (cereal, waffle iron, hot eggs and sausage, small yogurt). There was hot coffee available in to go cups too. I would not hesitate to stay here again, great room for the price of $113.

We stayed this time to visit my daughter who goes to UWEC. The facility is very nice. Rooms, pool and breakfasts are great. We have stayed her many times and will stay again next time we visit the area.

Very impressed overall with this hotel. At check-in I was offered an upgrade to a king suite for the price of a standard room. The room was great, bed very comfortable, and clean. Staff is very friendly. The appearance of the hotel is very nice and as advertised. Good breakfast variety.

The motel provided a large room, a competitive breakfast and friendly service. It was perfectly located near the freeway exit and close to several dining choices. I had also chosen it due to its proximity to the bike trail and it turned out to be very convenient.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and we appreciate the good relationship they have with the campus. The hotel is clean and breakfast was what you might expect for a continental breakfast. Close to Eau Claire campus too.

This hotel was really nice. It was recenty remodeled & updated, so it looks nice inside &the rooms are clean. The continental breakfast is good - eggs & sausage, pancakes, cereal, coffee, and more - definitely worth it. Free WiFi included, but cuts in and out constantly. Make sure to request no -smoking room if that's what you really want. We didn't request & you can sure tell from the smoky smell that our room has been smoked in... but that's our fault for not asking. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel - great value for the price, and the staff is friendly & helpful.

This is always the best place to stay for our quilting retreat. We have been staying here for several years each October and March and have always been treated like royalty. Our needs are always met. The rooms are clean and neat, the breakfasts are good and hot and the catered meals are so much better than they were previously . We wait to see what is being served!! I make reservations for the next retreat and they are always accommodating and it's there when the time comes. I will be back in March.

The staff greeted us warmly. We checked in to find our rooms is their usual fine condition. The conference Center was set up to accommodate 48 quilters, their machines and excess supplies. The food, supplied by the kitchen was superb. The salads were fresh and of the highest quality. The entrees were just right for the large number of guests. We are already looking forward to our next retreat in March, 2017.

The same group of 40+ women have been attending quilt retreat twice a year at this property for the past several years. Our rooms are clean and well appointed. Carpeting has been changed with additional updates throughout the hotel within this past year. Our meals are served in the conference room by a friendly and courteous staff. The tables are nicely decorated and the food is quite good. Aside from the cleanliness of this property the most desirable thing for us is the friendly staff. Can't say enough good things regarding their competence and making us feel welcome. As a group, I'm confident the we would recommend this reasonably priced hotel to anyone.

Great breakfast selections and nice quality rooms. The wifi was a bit of a pain as it kept requiring a person to log in multiple times a day. I like the new couches and chairs. Very comfortable. The new carpeting is also nice.

Hotel accommodations were great and staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel was easy to locate and within a reasonable distance to many restaurants. It served as a perfect stop for our cross country adventure.

Wanted a perfect comfortable stay for a decent price and I got it. I was traveling for my mom's funeral and needed to be relaxed and not have a bad night sleep. Loved the fact with my rewards points that I could get a King suite so affordable. My wife used the bedroom to relax and watch TV while I worked writing a Eulogy for my mom. Everything went perfect.

The hotel is very nice and has a great breakfast selection. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff is very accommodating to the guests. There are many great restaurants nearby the hotel property.

Paid over $200 last night in twin cities area due to the Ryder Cup. This was a better motel and a much lower price. Will add this site on our list of favorite places to stay. The room was comfortable, although we would have liked another chair. The lighting was good. Water pressure in the sink and tub were excellent. The tub did not hold water well, but that is a minor problem. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and worked well. Good food was located nearby. The breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here after a wedding. The room was very nice and very clean but the caulking in the bathroom could be re done as it looks very dirty. They were also out of coffee at 930am which was quite a disappointment. Other than that a very nice place.

I have stayed at this location many times for business and I am always satisfied. It's located close enough to decent restaurants that it's easy to grab food and a drink but not too close to the downtown area to deal with the partying.

The desk clerk, Coner (yes, only one n) was a breath of fresh air! He was personable and went above expectations helping us out with a couple of problems. He recommended a place to eat which was very good. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Easy outdoor parking and within easy drive to local restaurants.

We stayed here back in August going up to Mall of America. On our way home we decided to stay again with them. As we walked in Connor recognized us and was very helpful and gave us the same room we had before per our request. The hotel was clean and my boys loved the pool area and breakfast. Plan on staying here again in the future.

Needed a place to stay one night while visiting Eau Claire for the first time. This hotel had everything we were expecting and more. Friendly and professional staff, clean, up to date and a good location near University. Our room, a king suite, was larger than we expected with a door to separate the bedroom. A Flat screen TV in each room. It was quiet, so no need to use the earplugs furnished on the nightstand. The breakfast included hot items such as waffles, eggs and sausage. What a treat to find this for under $100!

Stayed 1 night. Older appearing hotel with some updates. I did not think the halls and our room smelled as fresh as I would have liked. Our room was clean, bed and linens very nice. Nice sized room and bathroom. Breakfast was nice and included eggs, sausage, multiple breads and rolls.

We enjoyed the stay both of the times we have visited. The staff has always been helpful and pleasant. If I would be planning an event near here, I would definitely put this location at the top of my list as it is close to the freeway but it feels like you are in a secluded place. We had many friends with us that enjoyed the experience as well.

We planned a 2-day fun day for children and stayed here because Best Western hotels are normally really great. Staff are really friendly. We arrived about 30 minutes early and checked to see if we could check in early and they found an open room for us! That was very cool. We went swimming, 3ft to 5ft & hot tub 3ft. They had a small game room, kids liked spending a few bucks there. The beds could've been more firm but the pillows were awesome. There was a nice vanity set (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, make up remover) and a little duck for the tub. Bathroom was nicely sized! Breakfast was in a nice area with many choices, see pictures. We went to Brewskis pub to grab kids a kiddie cocktail, small area so wet didn't stay. Had their pizza at another Best Western and it was good. All in all, great stay and would stay again!

The appearance of the hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was also clean and modernly decorated. The water pressure was great when taking a shower. The bed was comfortable. The hotel room doors slam very loudly so you know when people are coming & going throughout the night/day. The continental breakfast was well stocked and the variety was good (make your own waffles, sausage biscuits, fruit, cereal, pastries, juice coffee.

My husband and I went to Eau Claire on a whim to get out of Milwaukee for a weekend. Neither of us had ever been there. We got to town and did not yet have a hotel reservation. We got off the freeway and saw a brand new Staybridge Suites-- I suggested we stay there. My husband, however, wanted to stay at a hotel with more amenities, specifically an in-room whirlpool. I looked on Trip Advisor and saw this Best Western was rated very highly, so we decided to book it. We got to the hotel and were greeted by a very friendly front desk person. We got to our room (a whirlpool suite on the first floor, but I don't remember the room number). The room was outdated, but seemed clean. Once we got our bags unpacked we noticed a horrible musty smell by the mini fridge. I'm guessing the refrigerator had leaked in the past, and the carpet was never properly cleaned. We were only planning on staying there 1 night, so we didn't make an issue of it. I really wished we would have changed rooms though, because the musty/moldy smell got worse throughout our stay. As expected for a weekend in the summer, there were mostly families with young children staying at the hotel. Children ran up and down the hallway most of our stay. There was a bar/restaurant on the lobby level, but it was very small and uninviting, so we went out for dinner. Overall, we would not return to this hotel due to the mildew/musty smelling room, outdated furnishings, and higher pricing than average (we paid $159/ night, when the BRAND NEW Staybridge Suites was going for $135/ night-- definitely regret not staying there!). I'm very confused as to why this hotel is so highly rated on this site, as our stay definitely did not support that.

We recently held our daughter's wedding reception here and we were very happy with the way things were handled. Sally and the rest of the staff were wonderful helping us plan the wedding for our daughter who was living out of state at the time we were planning the event. Questions were answered promptly. Communication was great. They helped out whenever possible. We received many compliments on how well the food was prepared. We would highly recommend the Best Western Plus.

Room had an unpleasant, almost moldy odor. I was traveling with my dog and booked for three nights. I was told the dog would be $20. The person taking the reservation did not make it clear that the fee was $20 PER NIGHT. Ridiculous for a 14 pound dog.

My husband and I were a a little road trip to visit relatives for the evening. We live in Central MN so after a long trip to Mauston, WI and after leaving their house early evening we decided to stay over in Eau Claire, WI. Since it started to rain we thought we would wait it out til morning and get an early start. WE didn't use the pool or bar/lounge but the rest was a good experience. I would stay again.

Great experience at this hotel. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. We had a kayak on the roof of our van which I was worried about and the front desk gal showed us where to park it so she could see it on her monitor at the desk. We came in late at night after driving in a storm and this gal had us all smiling and laughing in no time. Wonderful! The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was great!! The Express check out bill was wrong (did not reflect our AARP discount) but the manager fixed that quickly and was really nice. We interacted with 4 employees and they ALL seemed to actually care about us and made us smile.

We had to be in Eau Claire for a very early surgery. We decided to drive up the night before and stay at the Best Western Plus. I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff. The staff we dealt with were very accommodating and helpful. When we checked out at the desk the offer was made to come back after our Doctor's appointment for the breakfast. We will stay there again!

I started out staying at a hotel in Chippewa Falls but relocated here after business necessitated being closer to downtown and more southern Eau Claire. Convenient location Lobby larger than most Staff printed maps, gave good directions Older computer. Probably not secure operating system safe to send personal information.

I stayed here this summer while visiting family and I was very pleased with this place. The staff was courteous. It has a nice lobby and breakfast area (breakfast was pretty standard packaged stuff but served its purpose). It also has a nice pool and small fitness room. Overall, filled with traveling families, quiet, seems well run and has a good vibe. It also accepts pets.

I had an associate and his wife visit the area to look for housing for a future move. They enjoyed the hotel and the area. It was close enough that they could visit his future place of employment in Chippewa Falls. It was very convenient for them to look for a place to live in Eau Claire as the hotel is close to many rentals nearby. The staff was friendly and they had no issues with payment being handled from our corporate office with a receipt sent in a timely manner.

We've been happy overall with Best Western so that's why we chose this one. We weren't surprised. It was neat, clean, nicely decorated. Overall a good experience. The best - a quiet room air conditioner - yeah! Usually even the properly functioning ones are too loud for me. Finally a quiet one. Little annoyances - the plastic toilet seat was loose - although we've seen worse, and the Off button on the TV remote didn't want to work - finally got it shut off - I'm not sure what I did differently. Room - clean, neat, bed a little soft for my liking, but that's a very personal thing and I like a firm bed. They were repairing some stucco on the exterior of the front and remodeling some of the convention rooms, but had cleaned up well before the weekend and it didn't affect our stay (at least they're maintaining their facility). Breakfast was good. Precooked warmed up scrambled eggs, sausage patties, etc. The special thing was strawberry glaze and whipped cream for the cook your own waffles. Overall a wonderful breakfast. The afternoon check in gal needed a lesson in cheerful greeting and smiling. She was an attractive young lady, who needed to iron her shirt, and smile more. I also think she would have looked more approachable without the lip ring and a lighter color of lipstick (I'm not a fan of dark purple with black outlines). I'm probably showing my approaching 60 age now. She was polite and took care of our needs without a problem. All the other staff were cheerful, helpful and polite. Neat, clean, overall very good experience.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for business or pleasure. All staff are very courteous and helpful. We had 41 people in our group and I never heard one complaint. The children enjoyed the pool area for hours. The adults visited on the patio, in the breakfast room and in the lobby area for hours. We definitely enjoyed the family reunion at this Best Western Plus.

We stayed here for a family reunion. The sraff was overly accommodating for our group. The facility was very clean and nicely furnished. The pool was nice and warm. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean, complete with small refridgerator, microwave and large flat-screen TV. There were plenty of electrical outlets for charging phones and other tech devices, unlike many hotels. The only giveaway to the room's age was the worn seat on the very low stool in the bathroom. The door to the hallway opened and closed very noisily (due to the humidity?) and that could be heard from inside the room at all hours of the day and night, which was a bit bothersome. The hotel provided ear plugs which helped. The included continental breakfast was hot and plentiful. The free area newspaper was appreciated. The hotel was easy to find right off of the Interstate and had many nice eating and shopping places very close by. I would stay here again. There are three floors of rooms. The hotel does have an elevator.

On your road trip through the upper Midwest one of our stops was Eau Claire, Mississippi very charming town although be at extremely quiet on this Sunday. Majority of the shops and restaurants are all closed. However the hotel was charming. A big plus for the best western we had Nice rubber duck he ready for the tub which was a darling addition. Bath and Bodyworks supplies for well-done in addition to two sets of earplugs for a double queen room. The pool and spa were clean. Warm and all rule and interior. But this bar seems Peapod we look forward to it tomorrow morning. So far this is one of the better best Western so we stayed at

Pretty average hotel. Didnt use any of the ammendities but they seemed nice. Left to early for breakfast, but they had snack bags made which was cool. The rooms were fine, nothing special. Clean for a best Western hotel.

Our family booked 2 rooms: one for my husband, me, and our 2 teenage sons, and the other one for a family friend. We had not seen this family friend in 12 years and decided to get together with her at this hotel over the July 4th holiday. The front desk people were very accommodating and had excellent customer service skills, especially Coner (night shift) and Brianna (morning shift). Brianna "held her own" when the place was busy and she was by herself, and Coner made time for small talk with us guests as he was cleaning up, etc, and we were playing board games in the pool area at first, and then moved to the "breakfast seating" area. The employees were very friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was excellent in quality and variety: egg omelets, bacon, waffles, danish rolls, muffins, english muffins, french toast, fruit, cold cereal (3 kinds), yogurt, juice, milk, hard-boiled eggs, etc. (I think there were a few more things that I have forgotten!) Most places have a few rolls, some juice or milk, and maybe some fruit, and that is it for their complimentary breakfast. So we were very impressed with the complimentary breakfast at the Best Western Plus in Eau Claire, WI. We definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay at a really nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere.

Door are always open at the Best Western Eau Claire. Arrived to the hotel at 4am and was greeted by the front desk. Super friendly and accommodating! Bumped us up to a suite style room. With refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, living room with a pull-out couch; the whole enchilada. Caught the free breakfast early and was impressed. Fresh fruits, waffle maker, eggs, sausage, cold and hot cereal, juices, and milk (even non-dairy options) best meal I've had in days. The lobby, hallways, and rooms are extremely clean. This was a wonderful stay with clean rooms and very friendly service. The hotel was just off the main drag which made it a nice and quiet atmosphere without too much road noise. Coffee was always available in the lobby and I had no problem sleeping between the sheets.

The room we got had a pull out sofa bed and two double beds. Very fresh pillows and blankets. Really clean refrigerator and microwave. Our room also had folgers coffee which is always awesome. They gave us plenty of towels and nice shampoo/conditioner. The staff is super nice and helpful. Also, the breakfast was delicious.

Would definitely recommend! The hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk was so friendly and very accommodating even though we had arrived very late at night after along drive. Room was very spacious, a great deal for the money. They offer a complimentary hot buffet style breakfast that had plenty of options for everyone in our group. We also happened to meet the general manager who was very friendly. You will not be disappointed with this hotel, definitely the best spot in Eau Claire for your money.

The staff at this Best Western was very friendly and welcoming, but I can't say that this was the quality property that I have seen at other Best Western Hotels that have been given the "plus" designation. I have stayed at four other Best Western properties in two other states. They appear to be working through renovations and they seem to have let this property go a little bit. The room was not particularly clean, because my dog found several items on the floor such as earplugs. We were glad to have a room on the first floor, but I would avoid staying in the rooms next to the back entrance. The door makes a loud clicking sound and buzzes if the door is not secure. I can't imagine what it would sound like all night. Breakfast was good and it was pet friendly with plenty of space to "potty" our dog.

This may be the nicest Best Western I have stayed at in my life. Room was nice and big, pretty well maintained (shower pressure wasn't that great) - but could use remodeling. Room was clean. The staff was pleasant during our stay. If we are back in this area, I would stay here again. Great location - right off the expressway. About an hour or so from Mall of America. This hotel is also pet friendly, although we weren't travelling with our puppy, it's nice to know!

Attended family reunion and wanted a gathering place for our immediate family. This fit perfectly. The pool area, a lounge area, pet friendly, nourishing breakfast in the morning. Shower didn't have great pressure, but works well, clean. 1st room view was over another building top but they gladly moved us to other side. Also Conor was ready/willing to help keep us comfortable. Melody took great care of our room. Definitely stay again.

This was perhaps the nicest Best Western I have stayed in, at least in the top FIVE. The King Suites was very nice. It was spacious, well kept, clean, and comfortable. All members of the staff were pleasant and happy, making for an enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I stay here frequently for work and I am always happy. It's close enough to the highway to make my travel in the morning easy while still being somewhat off the beaten path. The breakfast is my only complaint and I would describe it as so-so. I typically skip the hotel offerings and grab a sandwich from kwik trip. Overall it's reasonably priced with comfortable rooms. Great for a short stay.

We were in town for a sporting event and was happy we stayed here again. They moved us to a different room with more sleeping space when they were unable to get us a roll away. The breakfast was good and the staff kept everything stocked. With the hotel being full, we didn't have any issues with noise. Staff was very friendly and the kids had a great time in the pool.

Room was clean-no rubber tub mat however-nice amenities in bath and very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful which made for a comfortable stay. The Green Mill restaurant nearby is great. They do need to have the Best Western logo on the highway signs where it lists the lodging-would make it easier to find

The staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home. All the rooms have new carpet and are being updated. Comfortable beds and decor is new. Pool, patio, and breakfast areas are nice. Recommend this place to stay and feel good about booking without seeing.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a large group for a sporting tournament and they were accommodating for the group gatherings during our stay and afterwards allowing us to come back to use the lounge area in between games to eat lunch together.

The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We were there for a baseball tournament and were only able to call a week ahead of time and they still accommodated us and gave us a block together. There was a big wedding going on then too and staff quickly staffed breakfast and were friendly and willing to help.

The hotel is average and borders on outdated. The internet is unreliable if you can get it to work at all. Housekeeping is questionable. The staff is friendly and appear to care. Good breakfast options.

Stayed one night for business. Good location. Great, friendly staff. The hotel was very clean. Everything was ran really smooth during my entire stay. I would stay there again for sure. Did not check out the bar, but it's cool option to have on site.

I stayed for a dog show and we were given little hand decorated treat bags upon check - in. It contained treats for our dogs and bags to clean up. Excellent and professional way to get peopl eto clean up after their pets.

First the good points: friendly front desk staff, clean lobby and food service area. Second the problem areas; while our room and bathroom were clean, the whirlpool bath had a ugly, dirty ring in it. There was a large black mess on the facet side that could simply be wiped off without any scrubbing. The internet system was free but not at all reliable. It would disconnect many times in 20 minutes. The sink plug handle fell apart with the first use. The bed pillows were extremely weary - long past replace stage. This hotel is undergoing some renovations so perhaps some of these issues will be corrected. In its current condition it is not up to Best Western standards.

The view from the room was some sort of industrial construction storage site. Also, when we booked they never asked about room type preference (did not know there we different options) and my spouse and I were assigned a room with two full beds. Yet my brothers who booked a room a month after us were asked what type of room they wanted and got a one bedroom suite for the exact same cost. The pool and the breakfast were very nice though.

This is now my Go To hotel when in the Eau Claire area. They offered me a to-go breakfast as I left before the official breakfast start time. The room had bottled water, ear plugs, cotton balls, q-Tips, and makeup remover wipes, along with the usual shampoo etc. I felt very safe here too!

Helpful staff, clean, neat rooms, and plenty of space. Extremely comfortable. I had an issue with a dim light over the sink; front desk immediately switched me to another room, checked to make sure the lighting was sufficient, and thanked me for reporting the issue. Breakfast is a lovely continental breakfast with eggs and sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, etc. More than enough choices without going to a restaurant.

I stayed on the third room in a kings room. It was peaceful all night. The room was very clean. The Hotel itself looks a little out-dated, but not too bad. The wifi connection was decent even though I was told it would be very slow. The check-in process was quick and painless. Parking lot had plenty of room.

My family and I absolutely loved the hotel. It was quiet and had a wonderful pool. It was a very decent price with a king suite only $112 with our AAA discount. It was extremely clean and had lovely helpful staff. The first and third floors are pet friendly and the second floor is pet free incase you have pet allergies. We plan on staying again in our next trip to Eau Claire.
