"Nice Hotel"

We stay there overnight to go to the national Western Stock show, which we ended up not going and then headed over to the western slope. Kind of hard to fine but overall good location. Nice inside big lots of activity during the night people awake talking a lot.

I'm not sure why all the poor reviews. I didn't have any issues. It's not a new building, but the room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was above average Those are my prerequisites. They passed all of those. The location is good for getting downtown quickly, but the neighborhood is commercial and older. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

I will admit at first was kind of rough, the bathroom in the room we started off in wasn't working right but the guy at the front desk (Johnathan) easily changed our room and it was a lot better. Other than that the room were clean staff was cool and location was close to the shopping area

"Stay Away From This Hotel"

Dark Charcoal Gray/Black RAM and white mini van which were obviously employee cars were constantly parked where guests pull up to temporarily park to check in. This did not allow me (or any other guests) to use that area when arriving to check in. The breakfast attendants didn't speak a word of English and therefore did not understand any of the requests or questions I had when asking them a question. Their only response was they didn't understand English. There were cars that revved their engines, peeled out, and raced through the parking lot through the night. This obviously did not bother the employees as they did nothing about it. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Both elevators had issues as well. We were staying on the second floor, and when entering the second elevator we pushed the button for the second floor and it did not illuminate. The buttons for the fourth and fifth floor were however. The doors ended up closing and we thought we were on our way to the fourth floor only to find out the elevator stopped on the second floor after all. We realized during our stay that that was the case for that elevator our whole stay, with the second floor button not working and the other two lights being constantly lit. The other elevator the lights for floors three, four, and five were constantly lit. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a hotel, and would recommend that no one ever stay here!

"Could not sleep - missed out on quality time"

This hotel looked alright on the surface, but we stayed 3 nights and regretted it. We were put in a room at the back of the hotel that had a cramped entryway. It was difficult to get in with our bags. The parking lot (free parking) was full of people loitering around at all times of the day and night. People looked like they were between living situations with all of their things like they had all just moved out of their houses or storage units. Car alarms went off every morning at 6am. We counted the honks one morning - 59 honks before it was shut off! With all the people lingering, we were worried about the security of our car. The room walls are very thin. The car alarms woke up the baby next door every morning, and the baby crying woke up the dog next door so things didn't quiet down until around 8am. By then, we had to be awake for our own schedule but ended up missing out on some of the time we meant to spend with family so that we could get a little sleep. We had a rented Tesla, and while they said they had Tesla chargers, the charging stations were a more generic type. I think the rental car had adapters to use the charging station, but they were located in a storage space under the trunk which was full of luggage and travel items, so we didn't bother trying. The nearest supercharger station was a couple miles down the road, so we just took extra time out of our day to charge up there. Elevators were so slow, we often thought they were broken, so we often took the stairs. Other guests who sounded like they had been there longer than us said things like, "Oh, is the elevator broken AGAIN?" It didn't sound like the place was well maintained, however there seemed to be a lot of renovation going on in the laundry room. There was no cleaning service, and there were no "do not disturb" signs, however, staff appear to have entered our room while we were out because the thermostat was turned to a higher temperature. When we got back to our room, it was too warm and we thought the AC was broken. When we checked and realized it had been adjusted, I was mad anyone had entered. If they won't clean the rooms, they should leave us to our privacy. We wish it had a hot tub, but there didn't seem to be one.

We arrived to find broken Tesla chargers (after calling to confirm they were present and working). The manager indicated there was no intention to fix them and said that they do not advertise them as an amenity (guess the front desk was not told that). The key card reader on the back door was removed and the door was accessible to anyone without a card. The front desk staff said their luggage racks (for bringing in bags) had all been stolen and were not replaced. The back stairwell smelled of urine. The room itself was nicely renovated, but the elevators were slow and seemed about to break down.

I've booked this same hotel for the last 5 years for lair day weekend to enjoy the pool with my family and friends. So I booked it again thinking it would be as wonderful as it had been the last five years. Upon check in the front Dess gal informed us that the pool was closed due to failing an inspection. I asked when the inspection occurred and she said two or three weeks ago. Well why isn't it updated on your website that the pool is non-functional I asked. She said the inspector has 59 properties and it would be impossible for her to come back and do a reinspection. Denver was under a heat advisory for the entire weekend and so the pool is crucial for our relaxation. She told us we could leave and find another hotel with a pool but we would not be able to get our deposit back. She also said that we should have received an email indicating that the pool was closed and that there was nothing she could do. This is completely unacceptable and we will never stay here again. Coincidentally we were staying at a best Western in Belen New Mexico in June and upon our arrival the front desk person told us their pool was closed because it failed to pass an inspection. Then the front desk person went on to say that technically summer doesn't start until June 20 and that the pool is only seasonal . Again this hotel inspector also had 59 properties that they were in charge of. There is definitely something going on with best Western in their pools. They need to be held accountable for misleading people into believing that they will be receiving all the amenities advertised on their website at that particular property.

This place was the most horrible place. Really weird when we walked in. Three lights was not fixed in the lobby and flickering and we were catching really weird vibes. They did not tell us that the pool was closed when we checked in and we probably tried to open the pool door for about 5 minutes and didn't get anything. Finally had to go to the desk to ask for help and they told us that it was cold. Like I said, was not addressed when we checked in. There was this guy in the hall on the bottom floor that couldn't speak and was making noises and disturbed us while on the phone. The TV had limited channels and was very glitchy, our room smelled. Went to go to the bathroom in our room and the door handle was loose. Also the bathroom shower would not drain after a while it would. My friend is a plumber and said the sink was outdated and won't last very much longer. Also the phone would not ring trying to call someone. Sleeping was noisy. Walls are thin. Here are some tips if you do want to stay here: Bring a HDMI cord for TV to plug in computer or tablet Use stairs if possible. Elevators are slow

We spent here one night after a long flight from Europe, before we hit the road for a road trip. It was on our way from the airport and had no problem before with Best Western, so we chose it. But, the hotel was worn down. Ice machine was not working on our level. There were plenty of long dark hair in the bathroom, in the room. (Probably, I shall not tell that neither of us have long black hair. :( ) The breakfast was ok, the staff was nice. However, in the morning, when we hit the road, police was on site, in the parking area as somebodies car was broken into. So, we were happy to leave.

We were planned to stay for 2 nights at this hotel, but we ended up only staying 1 night. Right when we walked in there were sticky handprints on the doors, the floors were sticky, there was some kind of brown spots on the floors, the toilet bottom was disgusting, and there was clearly a spilled drink on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door barely even shuts and you have to shove it closed. We were very bummed about it because they were actually a dog friendly hotel but it wasn't worth a 2 night stay at that cost.

I travel with my two friends and we are all 20-25 and we never felt unsafe but the area the hotel was in an industrial type area. Its just something to consider when booking. it is in a brand new fancy area but still worth every penny.

Check in the clerk said nothing to us, but it still took 5 min to check in. My husband asked if there was something wrong and she said no, but it still took a while. The room was about 2 football fields length to walk to. I'm a Diamond member but no acknowledgement. Expected a high floor room, but did not get it. We stayed here 5 days and couldn't get the room cleaned. Put the sign out for 2 days and then finally went to the front desk to request service and was told they weren't "refreshing rooms" due to limited staff but someone would bring towels. But no, we had to go the the front desk twice to request towels. We had asked for extra towels to start and never received them. We dumped our own garbages each day ourselves in the hall garbages. No gluten-free or dairy-free breakfast options. We ended up going to the nearby Target to pick up items. The ice machine was supposed to be on the 3rd floor according to the information in the room but there was one on our floor. It was out of order, but no sign. Went to front desk and told to go to 4th floor. The elevator at the end of our hall was out of service--there was a sign tho. The pool was nice, but was quite cold. We got the final 2 towels. Door was hard to open. The TV was glitchy at times, especially on the local/lower channels. The A/C worked but was LOUD. Bathroom had no fan. Door handle was broken--see picture. I will say that the wi-fi worked well. And the the citrus water in the lobby was nice. Location near shopping and restaurants was good, but hotel was not easy to get into. Parking was free and plentiful, but cars drove too fast thru lot.

"What means "executive, plus..."? It's just BW anyway"

I am little confused by wording of the hotel. They must have some rooms with Jacuzzi and silver spoons. But, what I encounter in one night stay, it is just BW, pained with a harder colors. That's all.

"Not Great Customer Service"

I stayed here for two nights and when I first arrived there I told them I had already had a booking. They asked for my card anyways, I figured it was a security deposit, although they charged a lot. Turns out, the booking wasn't counted and they charged me again after. I called and they denied the booking, which I have a receipt for, and keep putting me off, telling me to call tomorrow. Additionally, the hotel is not very transportation friendly; it was hard to find on maps until I typed in their exact address and there is no train station near it, at least not in walking distance. The pool was inaccessible and once we finally figured out how to get in we realized that we had to try to open the gate from the outside to get out. The ice machine didn't work either. The only highlight was the 24/7 coffee.

Stayed there last weekend for sons wrestling tournament. Friendly staff, actual clean rooms and was just a very nice experience. I'll be staying there every time in Denver. The only bad part was the pool was not open due to maintenance.

Looks to be a family owned and run business. Some desk people very good. Some desk people spend too much time on their phones. Management needs to walk the building inside and out to notice what their guests are seeing (leaky roof, wires in hallway, tape by doors so homeless can sneak in) I noticed so they can also.

Looks good from outside, clean on the inside. Awesome employees, my only issue was I couldn't Crack my window open and my tub wouldn't drain. It had water in it from previous stay. Make sure you walk through your room before settling in

I think the Roads and Streets Around the Building Must have Changed. The address on the website is 4590 Quebec. The Address above the Front door of the Hotel is 4595 Quebec. Hotel was being remodeled. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and Competent. Location is bad. Middle of an Industrial Park. Saw some shady characters wandering around the parking lot.

My wife was not comfortable staying here but we arrived late. The room was in disrepair. The bathroom door handle was broke and came apart. Hole in the wall. The location is not good with homeless in the area. The staff did not have good communication skills in English.

not a bad hotel, was in a renewal/construction phase. liked that the rooms had the luxury vinyl flooring instead of carpeting, did not really like that they would not provide any towel changes unless you called down or walked down to the front desk. no room servicing due to COVID if you stayed more than one night. other hotel chain do not seem to have these restrictions. Breakfast was dismal. Staff seemed to only have the response "It should be working" then went right back to their phones. Maybe slow down the flow of folks eating breakfast that were not guests.

The room was clean and nice. The stay overall was pretty quiet. It's in a location without much around, very industrial area so you have to travel a little for food, etc. the staff was friendly. Overall satisfied with the stay.

Friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable. Many exits to come and go as needed. The room was very roomy and had a comfortable bed. Overall a very nice place to stay. Easy access to many things around town.

The hotel itself is great. The rooms are extremely clean and the amenities in the room are the best. Rooms have kitchenette microwave, refrigerator and sink. The staff is very nice, courteous and friendly. The only bad thing is that if you want to watch tv then you have many channels to choose from. You have the diagonal colored lines channel, two frozen picture channels, 6 black screen channels with sound, 5 colored blocks channels no sound and then you have 3 ESPN channels with the same programming, 3 shopping channels, two channels that play 1970's to 1980's shows and the MSNBC channel. There's literally no entertainment channels as they use Direct TV which by the way does not let you direct the tv channels you watch.

The area around the hotel is comercial and located very close to I-70 and as such has a lot of transient activity. The check in and dining areas were the only clean and maintained areas of the hotel. The elevator, stairways and hallway were all dirty, and stained had strong odors. The actual room dirty and not well maintained, the lamp was broken, the comforters on both beds had burns/holes in them. Hot water was non existent for a good portion of one of the days we were there.

The hotel is nice, there is no carpet. I had room with full size fridge w/ freezer. There are kitchen appliances to use for stove top. Plenty of counter top & cabinet space for groceries for long stay. The weekday front desk staff not so welcoming. The weekend front desk staff are happy, friendly, & helpful.

Hotel centered in downtown. Entry door into the bathroom was very narrow. For the most part the hotel was great. You can hear the train at times. Be sure to ask what day the trash truck comes and request a room on the other side of the trash bins. We were a few floors above them and when the trash truck arrived the beeping sound and clanging of the bins being emptied at 6:00 am awoke us. Beds were super comfy

This was a great stop for our trip. We had drove 24 hours previously and the staff made everything easy and hassle free for us. The location was very close to Red Rocks were we watched the sun rise and the late check out made it nice that we could leave our stuff in the room enjoy that and come back for an easy checkout.

I gave this place a 3 because of the way the breakfast lady acted towards some Middle Eastern people. The Hotel it's self I would give five stars great rooms great price great location. The front desk guys are bilingual which I think is necessary for the area. But like I said due to the fact of how the breakfast lady acted towards foreigners it was disgusting they were in a hurry and needed to check out fast, breakfast was at six and she was not ready and because they went and asked the front desk guy for a to go box she out of spite refuse to bring the food out leaving them with the only option of a cold bagel. When she saw that I also had a to go box she became very annoyed and continue to refuse to bring out breakfast I asked the front desk guy if you could help out he did what he could but in the end I had to leave to go to work so I left hungry and disappointed.

The room was huge but hallway carpet is filthy. The room had a stale pet odor. The bathroom vanity light was very dark. Couldn't use it to do hair or makeup too dark. Shower would go from warm to cold to really hot during a shower. Front desk kept answering the phone and finishing conversations while I was standing there waiting to check in. Usually staff will put a call on hold and serve the person at the counter. Lobby floor is very nice. Rooms do not have carpet but the same laminate as in the lobby.

We left our roku plugged into the tv. Left at 9am, called at 10am. Said they'd grab it and leave it at the desk upon arrival back into Denver. They claimed there was no roku stick. If check out isn't until 12pm and check in isn't until 3pm, the only person that could have taken our roku stick is their cleaning staff. If it wasn't the cleaning staff, it was the lack of urgency by the front desk staff we spoke to an hour after we left.

Looked like it was recently remodeled but maybe not completed. Bathroom floor not completed, but ok. Holes in wall where sprinkler heads were located. But overall we had a great nights sleep and would stay there again. Very clean an the staff was great.

It seems that the rooms/hotel had a recent renovation. The finishes in the lobby look great however once you get in to your rooms you can see the lack of attention to detail. We had room 514 and 516 and both rooms were in the same unfinished condition. The paint in the rooms and restroom is not a clean finish, you see blobs of paint in certain areas. The floor wasn't properly installed. The ceiling in one of my rooms had obvious water damage that was repaired poorly. The showers would have really made me ignore all of the finishes however the shower head in both rooms were horrible. The water in the sink functions much better than the shower (unfortunate). I understand we got a good deal for these rooms however the deal does not take away from lack of detail. STAFF- SUPER FRIENDLY! CLEANLINESS - GREAT!

Very loud AC/Fan, shower heads in some rooms may need replacements to serve it's purpose and definitely newer hand/bath towels will be useful. Encourage guests to be mindful of other guests and limit the noise outside the rooms. Not to play loud music late or have a loud conversation at 3am when other guests are resting, it's a business establishments after all.

"Stolen item, horrible service, gross smells"

Room was not cleaned on 2nd day, took 3 more days of requests to front desk before room was ever cleaned (once total during entire trip). I mistakenly forgot my Amazon firestick in the side of the tv upon checkout, which I understand is completely my fault. However, I talked on the phone with the front desk 4 times (twice the same day, twice the next) about coming to pick it up. Only after the 4th call did they say it "wasn't there", even though it was not at all visible and there was no way to know it was even there unless you were sitting on the counter and felt with your hand behind the tv. Each phone call they kept saying they would talk to housekeeping, until the last call, during which they said they "couldn't find it" AFTER I (for the first time) explained exactly where it would be. After overall service, very convinced that it was stolen. Every hallway and stairwell had a different bad smell, and our room smelled like dust and cigarettes the entire stay. Bathroom also had multiple random stains, and ceiling above shower was constantly peeling and falling off. We stayed for just about a week, and both elevators were out of service the entire time, which was very inconvenient with our large amount of luggage. HIGHLY highly recommend against staying here. Will be back in the area many more times over the next few years, but refuse to ever stay here again. Would without a doubt rather stay in my car than go back to this hotel.

Was stuck in an elevator for about an hour. Emergency call button didn't work and no elevator keys on sight for rescue. I called one of the members in our group and told him where I was and asked him to go to the front desk and see if they had been notified that I was in the elevator. After some time he came over to the elevator door and said they weren't aware of me being stuck in there. A while later he advised me that the fire department was on their way to get me out. The fire department arrived and got me out after about an hour being stuck in there. OSHA and IFC codes where violated and their appropriate department's will be notified.

Toilets leaked, hallways dirty, both rooms had multiple issues, lobby toilet floor drain overflowed when toilet flushed, terrible security, exterior doors propped open all the time, electors out of order, laundry facilities dirty half machines broken, no shampoo, staff was nice, breakfast was good just slow to replenish, understaffed for what was needed. Major road construction caused severe traffic delays around hotel side roads and interstate. Would not stay again. Left early.

"Worst hotel experience I have ever had"

Starting with my room not being ready for 2+ hours after check-in this hotel is awful. After waiting for a room for over (2) hours - we did not get into it until 5PM, my first room smelled so strongly of dog urine we had to wait for another room. The second room smelled musty, was dirty and the security latch was broken. Dog feces in were in the stairwell and the entire hotel smelled. Most concerning was that there were homeless in the hotel and I often heard fighting and smelled pot really strongly. I did not feel safe at all.

Nope never again! For starters I have stayed in about 50+ hotels in Denver. This used to be the Best Inn and Suites which was a trash hotel. You cant just update the rooms and slap some paint on the place. This place is still trash! At check in the women was on the phone speaking Spanish to someone and told us the room and shoed us away. We could not find the luggage cart. The room was clean but around the hotel, I never felt so unsafe. The doors had stones so they would not lock shut. Homeless just hanging out. Drug deals in the parking lot. oh and guess what we found the luggage cart, people not staying at the hotel had it in the back by the dumpsters while they were grilling in the parking lot. WTF?! I am a cig smoker so going outside I feared! To the point that I quit. 2 nights, worst mistake ever!

Recently stated here for a mini vacation with my family, we ended up renting two rooms! Upon arrival we weren't highly welcomed by the front desk person. Rooms were clean but not what we were expecting. Room service for our room on the first floor was not bad when It came to setting up the beds however we had items that were gotten into! We did not notice anything weird until our last day there, we give our small kids melatonin gummies so they can sleep... we had a container of them a little less than full and ended up with about 20 gummies left when they was a lot more than that. Breakfast was ok only the first day it was good the others were not as good and only the first and last day of our trip we had one of the friendly breakfast attendants. I honestly wouldn't stay here again, I am not happy that the housekeeping lady got Into our stuff!! Very disappointed!

Very nice clean comfortable hotel. Breakfast was good. Beds. Were very comfy. The windows covering are not the best the room was like day light all night because the lights on the outside of the were so bright.

This hotel is in a very sketchy part of Denver and doesn't feel safe with random people milling about and poaching the wifi in the parking lot. It appears several people are living here long term. We were unlucky enough to be near the stairwell on the first floor and it slammed open and shut throughout the night. Large gap under door allowed light to flood the room from hallway. When I went to retrieve something from my car about 6:30am, I ran into the woman in the lobby who had been begging at the freeway offramp the afternoon before. She had her white kitchen gloves on heading for the breakfast area. Maybe they don't have a "homeless problem" as the manager has denied in previous reviews, but there are plenty of people around that don't appear to be paying guests. Our room was recently remodeled, the bed was comfortable but there were tissues left behind from a previous guest, and the floor was not cleaned well. While we normally enjoy the Best Western chain, I would never recommend this hotel until security measures are put into place.

Everything was really nice with bright beautiful colors. It was really up to date with automatic shades on the window and an excellent mirror light in the bathroom. The room was very clean and smelled of fresh citrus. I also noticed how quiet it was and that I didn't hear other guests moving around or opening and closing doors. They made up to go home breakfast plates that were very filling as well.

Travel nurse in need of a quiet room for rest between vaccination clinics. I enjoyed an exceptionally clean room, bathroom and kitchen. Staff were always very polite and attentive and the hotel was very quiet. Their fitness room was clean and of moderate size as well. They also offer laundry facilities. They have a green housekeeping offer, which I participated in, to receive points by skipping housekeeping. Overall, a good value for the price. I would return again.

There's no security here so you will constantly see homeless people walk in and out of the building or hang around the compound. The hallways are dirty and dark. My sister's room had a dirty odor and she went to the front desk to see if they can move her to a different room. The staff in the front stated that they were all booked and had no capacity to do so. Her other option was to have the staff come and clean the room again, less than 5 mins of the conversation the front desk called and stated they were done cleaning. She went back to her room and all they did was sprayed some strong air freshener into the room. We had to go back down and demand them to give us a refund as they weren't able to accommodate us. The girl then stated that she indeed did have another room for her, so she was moved. Considering this was the last day of our trip we decided to stay as we needed to sleep and go to the airport early.

I got stuck in the area due to Snomageddon. :-) My friend had stayed here and recommended I call. I did, and the staff was great, set me up, and took great care of me until I could fly home. It is stressful to be on the road, even more so when things are going wrong. I was able to relax and take in a few unplanned days in the Denver area and the BW crew made it a very pleasant experience in spite of the circumstances.

I was Extremely Disappointed in this property. I was not Acknowledged as a Rewards Member, in any way. The room was of questionable cleanliness with the trash can under the sink full with some previous guests trash, the inside of the bathroom door had not been cleaned in quite some time with greasy fingerprints. The bath tub filled with water as I showered, ankle deep by the time I was done. The bathroom sink was also very slow to drain. The sink was half full of water by the time I was finished washing my hands. I had to leave for business early one day and asked for a "Breakfast to Go". I was handed a hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Not something that I could eat on my way.

COVID restrictions not follow at all. NO masks, crowded areas. The whole place seems to be dirty with very little attention to detail (trash in common areas and elevators). Just a typical cheap dirty hotel. Reminds me of places we would go to on spring break. Do not stay here, not worth the cheap price.

Everything was very clean and nice looking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were only in Denver 2 nights and stayed at a different hotel the other night (due to an event the other hotel had going on), but I wish we had stayed here both nights. The room was bigger and my 11 year old loved having his “own room” (pull out sofa was in a separate room with French doors departing it from the main room with the king size bed)

Lady at check in did not know what she was doing. Room was not the cleanest. Could hear people yelling up and down hallway. DID NOT FEEL SAFE! Back door was left open by a rock. A lady literally stood there and watched us unload our car and watched us go to our room! Creepy.

I had my truck stolen from the parking lot of this motel. They didn't care They have no cameras the manager says “ people don't have vehicles stolen from my hotel”. As if it didn't happen. Then he says “someone is playing a trick on you”” no one knew I was there. It just seems real weird the comments he made. Don't stay here it's a horrible part of town.

Ok this location i utter crap, its not by anything worth seeing or being by, the rooms and interior looks good, however from the un-attentive front desk agents (especially Ashley or whatever her name was) to the constant guests coming and going and being loud while doing so. My room phone was not working upon check in. I asked when could they fix it, she replied maintenance was not there and they could handle it in the morning. There is no official shuttle service, however there is a guy who drives a white van like vehicle out front. Don;t get excited because this is ONLY for truck drivers (as if the regular guests are not important enough or don't have anywhere to go too) i asked if he could drop me off about 1 mile up the road, which he was willing to do, i gave him $5 and mentioned that i might call to see if he could get me on a return. Well i called the hotel to get in touch with him, i was treated as if i was'nt a guest, like i was bugging the lady that answered the phone, after 4 calls, she said he was on the way, i stated right where i would be waiting for him. Literally 5mins after that a horrible hail and rain storm hit as i was waiting for the driver. he never showed up, i was out in the elements barely under the cover of 7 eats sign at 7 Eleven, the terrible storm last about 10 to 12 mins, then i called again she said the gentlemen had came (but i never seen him) I personally feel i was brushed off due to the storm maybe or perhaps he did'nt want to get me from 1 mile up the road. (which i would've tipped him again had he shown up) finally called a Taxi, got back to my room and the lady i guess who answered my hotel call was seriously preoccupied with her cellphone, i went to my room, the room phone still was not working, then she had the nerve to ask me did i check it. (Like really? how else would i know it STILL was not working) she sent a maintenance man who seemed sketchy and bothered with my room request. Come to find out the cords were not in place correctly (Hotels job to do not mines, they need to make sure everything is functioning BEFORE renting out a room) all and all, not a good location, seedy patrons and if you need a ride, you better hope its not during when a dust storm or hail storm is on the horizon, oh and make sure your a truck driver they get priority.

We really enjoyed staying The best western plus in Denver Colorado it was clean comfortable close to the highway and the mattress was very comfortable we had a wonderful night sleep. It's exactly what I expect and the price was affordable.

We stayed at the hotel for a week-long business trip. The accommodations were adequate, clean, and functioned as expected. However, the smoke-free policy was not enforced by the hotel. A neighboring room was smoking marijuana for a large portion of a day which filled our adjoined room with smoke. The staff was alerted but did not appear to handle the situation and the smoke infiltration continued throughout the night. If smoke allergies are a concern or your work does not allow association with recreational drugs, I would strongly and respectfully recommend against the hotel.

The lobby is very nice. Breakfast was nice selection. Our room was very dirty and smelled like pot the whole hallway smelled awful. At checkout was told we would get a 15% discount but we haven't seen that.

I stay at this chain throughout the Midwest and Southwest. I'm now a club member. Rooms clean and newly remodeled. Appreciate the nice breakfast and convenient parking. They welcome my 2 Yorkies and normally get a to close to the exit.

"Dirty and Cold"

The floors in the room were so dirty that I had to brush my feet off to get into bed. They have lost all the brooms because the floors are not carpet. The water comes out of the pipes brown and stinks, the breakfast area is so cold that the staff wears winter coats to serve. The food may have been warm in the warming trays but was cold by the time you sit down. Yes, I was there in the winter but seriously, not acceptable. Rented 3 rooms for my family and they were all dirty, sand paper sheets, and broken door handle in one of the rooms. The pool area looked like a bad movie scene.

Overall good value and good deal. All the staff members treated me with care and respect. Comfortable beds. Close to shopping and restaurants. I did point out that the satellite TV reception might need some fine tuning as the viewing quality appeared to be more like standard definition rather than high definition. They have a fitness center with three cardio machines and bar bell set, so anyone that wants to get a good workout can.

The hotel was very conveniently located, only 15 minutes from downtown. It had a nice workout space and a good selection for breakfast. Great value for the money. I would definitely stay there again..

Not The Best Western. Checkin was confused with points applied. Hot selections at breakfast were either soggy, greasy and not very warm. The wagfles & pancakes were fine. Noisy freeway location. Keys were deactivatef whn we tried to return one night during our stay

they just did a complete remodel here & its beautiful !!! when you walk in it just hits you with glee. the floors & dining area is like a 5 star hotel.ladies be careful walking in with high heels. the rooms have an amazing flat screen on the wall, AMAZING bathroom. wood floors

This Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were very clean, for sure cleanlier than my room Haha. No issues sleeping here, I got quality sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I found out the hotel is in a great location to explore Denver which made me very happy

Before we arrived, I personally thought the pricing was too good. However, my Family and I had a great experience here. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone of my family members and myself got quality sleep. I would one hundred percent comeback here the next time I am in Denver.

When I stay at a Best Western Plus or Premier I look forward to the experience. This fell flat. The room door stuck, the remote didn't work, I did get it replaced, the internet was down for the last half of my stay, the breakfast was not very good. No variety. The hotel looked like it might be getting ready for a remodel. The elevator near my room was down the entirety of my stay.

Had a great stay at the Best Western in Stapleton. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. But after staying at the hotel I was glad I chose this hotel. The entire hotel is refreshed and has a great feeling. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back when I'm in town again.

If you have any respiratory issues I highly recommend not staying here. There is a smell that permeates throughout the building. I woke up not being able to breathe luckily I was able to open the window, but had to listen to the freeway the whole night.

This place was terrible. We checked in and went up to the room. At first look it was nice, but when we got to the room, there were no extra blankets or pillows for the king suite (room slept 4, no extra for the pullout couch). Then my son went to the bathroom and got stuck in there for 45 mins while waiting for maintenance to arrive. When we first called the front desk there was no answer it rang and rang. Then I called back a few mins later to request the maintenance. She said she would send him right up. 30 mins later my husband went down to find out and she told him that he was ok the way. While he was down there he asked for more blankets and sheets for the pullout couch. She found A sheet and a flimsy blanket and claimed it was the only extra one in the whole hotel. When maintenance finally showed up he told us he had left the building and had to come back to do this for us. If the front desk had told us that from the beginning I would have been less mad. But when we looked at the door as we tried to jimmy him out ourselves it was very obvious that this had been a major problem and not their first time fixing this door from breaking down. Will never stay at this best western again.

I have been aware of this hotel for years. Like previous reviews state..it wasn't great in the past. I was so pleasantly surprised. These are brand new owners and this is a brand new hotel. They put over 6 million dollars into that hotel and it is still competitively priced. They have kitchenettes which is great for our teams. Friendly staff and beautiful decor. The breakfast..which is free.. is amazing..and a little different each day. Definitely check this hotel out while the price is still right..I am sure once it is known that this has become a gem..prices may reflect who they are now....

The hotel is high than our expectation after seeing those reviews. The hotel is renovated I guess. Front desk is very friendly. I like the decoration style of this hotel very much, although some tiny construction work should be done better. The room looks clean too. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is decent. The location is just what we want, not very far from airport, nearby HWY 70 and price is much cheaper compared to the hotel around airport.

The sleek modern-style hotel still has some things that we traditionally like. For example the citrus-scented soap & shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. That faint lemmony smell is invigorating. The staff was friendly, & the room was spotless.

This may be a very nice hotel once all renovations are completed. Our room was very nice but the bathroom needed the "punch list" repairs.... missing tiles; hole in wall; damaged door; no vent; no drain stopper in the tub and did not drain well. The lobby and breakfast areas were shiny, clean, and bright. But the halls were dark, low ceilings, dark (dirty?) carpets. ( maybe from all the construction traffic) The elevators were the smallest we have seen since Europe!

It was a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the breakfast. I didn't care too much for the location because it seemed to have quite a few stragglers hanging around when driving up to the property. But overall, it ended up being a decent stay for the price we paid.

The hotel is nice decorated. Only complain is check in speed, there was one stuff for check in during busy hour. Another issue was bathtub clogged, have to wait to fix it next day. The hotel is located near highway, noise is a big problem for us.

"We needed a hotel quite urgently and Best Western was pretty good for the price"

My friend and I needed a room urgently when our travel plans changed and was glad to find Best Western near the car rental. Overall very decent place, room is comfortable, free breakfast and free parking. Some of the fixture need updates such as the door has a loose screw and the bathtub had debris backflow (caused by some drain problem, it was raining very hard that day) but they are all addressed by the hotel staff. The front desk is very accommodating when we request a room change and request to store our luggage after check out. Would recommend this place for the price.

"gave my room away and still charged me"

Previous to a late night flight, I did an early check-in on-line per an email from Best Western. The check-in told them I would be there after mid-night. When we got there, they had just cancelled my reservation and gave it to the family that walked in before me. Since they said I was a "no show", they had cancelled my reservation. The young girls at the desk had horrible attitudes and were pretty much saying, sorry we can't help you, we have no rooms. They literally told me to try Motel 6. We went to a Comfort Inn where they were fully booked as well, but they lady was nice enough to help us find a room across town at a Days Inn, who gave us a discounted rate because of all the issues we'd had. After returning home, I found out that I had still been charged for the night at Best Western. After multiple calls with corporate, I finally got a refund. But found out that they had cancelled my reservation and supposedly booked me a room at another location and that is the one I was being charged for. I never knew about this second room until nearly two weeks later, but would have gladly taken it that night. Due to how they treated us and their attitude, I would never recommend this hotel. However, much thanks to Comfort Inn and Days Inn for taking care of us.

Staff is friendly, room was clean. Dog-friendly hotel. Pool area is immaculate. The building was recently renovated and looks beautiful! I had to extend my stay by 2 nights because of car trouble and it just took 5 seconds at the font desk explaining it and it was no big deal--I even got to stay in the same room!

Before we got to this hotel, I read some very bad reviews of the facility. Therefore, I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is expansive, well decorated, and has very shiny tile floors. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is huge and has plenty of choices. The room, with a tile floor, was very modern and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and had no problems at all. I did laundry, and one dryer was out of order, but it did not prevent me from doing my laundry. The hotel is in an industrial area, which was fine. Quiet, with easy highway access.

The hotel appeared to be have been recently renovated and was clean. Our room was quite nice and very comfortable. The young man who checked us in was simply excellent in every regard. Other desk staff I experienced were average. I myself as well as other guests walked by the desk with not being recognized in any way. The breakfast was very good.

They didn't do the best at keeping our room stocked and clean, but everything was comfortable and the breakfast was good. It is a cheaper option, so it was worth the price. The doors do kinda slam when they shut, so be aware if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel is in a sketchy area of town and difficult to get to. However it has an overall feeling of safety and a nice appearance. Very quick check in. Front desk staff was friendly and very professional. The only draw back was breakfast was mediocre at best.

The receptionist Mara was not friendly. We asked for adjoining rooms and didn't even get out on the same floor. We were supposed to have Queen beds and got full instead. Room service was non-existent and had to ask for towels. The hotel was very dirty and smelled bad. Everytime we rode the elevator it felt like we would fall to the basement. Everytime we turned on the shower brown water came out. I don't expect a lot from a hotel breakfast but this was by far the worst I have ever had. The hotel reeked of smoke and is supposed to be smoke free.

Dont stay at this hotel. You will be disappointed if you stay. It might say renovated and that is why i chose it but it should have said under construction. It'll be more acceptable. The only thing that looks nice is the lobby and breakfast area its a good way to trap people to stay. I'm glad i didn't waste my money on this. I use my points otherwise it was going to cost me over $300 . I would never stay here again. The hallway is old, thick and smelly. My room smell like either pine sol or fabuloso mix with cigarette smell. Its suppose to be smoke free hotel. I know what smoke free hotel smell like.

Front desk clerk, Mara, was anything but welcoming! Very bad first impression. We made reservations and asked to have adjoining rooms. Not only did we not get adjoining rooms but we weren't even on the same floor. She said she would try to get us on the same floor the next day. We were told we would get housekeeping only every 3 days but after the 3rd day, nothing. Same song and dance as previous reviews. I called down to the front desk and they said they'd see IF anyone was still here. Luckily for us, there was. If the hotel is going to act like an extended stay, they should put more than 2 coffee can sized trash cans in each room. I don't think we were the only people with this problem because trash cans outside the elevators on our floors and the main floor had bags of trash piled next to them every time we left the room. I took a shower on the first morning we were there. The water drained very slowly causing the tub to fill up. While I was showering, a clump of hair floated out of the drain. It was me, my husband and 2 sons in the room. This hair was NOT from any of us. Also agree with other reviews that the renovation was done poorly. The sprinkler heads in our room were only sticking out of the sheetrock about 1/2 way, the carpet in the hallway is still is very dirty and the exterior of the entire property is overgrown and littered with trash. One of our rooms didn't have a microwave at all and the other was missing the glass plate. Only one of the 2 fridges worked and the one that worked barely kept food cold despite numerous attempts of adjusting the temperature. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but they did change up the options each day. The woman taking care of the breakfast area was very friendly and took the time to help my 6 year old get pancakes. I wish I would have gotten her name! She was very good.

At check-in first girl was watching Family Guy on her phone and would not check us in. Five minute later after we retrieved our bags to bring it into the hotel, another girl was there and checked us in immediately. There were no drawers in the room for clothing and maybe five hangers. Drain clogged and first time no one showed up to fix it. Called again next day and it took a half hour to show up but they did fix it. Had to ask the desk for maid service. Was told that we could get towels at front desk if we bring our dirty towels. Did that and she said, I do not have any towels, will send some up, and that took 45 minutes to an hour. Breakfast was fine with weak coffee. Outside of hotel looks ghetto. The best part of the hotel was that I washed clothes four times and spent a total of $10. Washer and dryer were good although one dryer was broken for the 10 days that I was there. Staff not very friendly.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. The staff is an absolute joke, you can't get ahold of them because their phones are often off the hook. They overbooked our family and many others when we had rooms reserved ahead of time for our soccer team, which isn't the end of the world, but the way they have handled themselves is ABYSMAL. To remedy the fact they overbooked is they paid for us to stay at a dump hotel (Rodeway Inn) but that was unacceptable (the rooms had cigarettes still burning and missing light bulbs for crying out loud) and when we went back to ask for a voucher or some other option they essentially said "take what we give you thats that" and to make matters worse apparently they knew they'd overbooked us for several days but said nothing until we got there (after a near 9 hour drive!!!!) On top of that, after we didn't stay at the Best Western or anywhere they provided us - they charged the credit cards for a 5 night stay (over $500 charge!) for a hotel that we NEVER EVEN STAYED AT. Their managers on duty are a joke, the manager who can actually "do anything" about anything is impossible to get ahold of, and any communication we have had has been incredibly rude when they were the ones at fault for this whole mess. Not to mention the lobby felt like a sauna as we repeatedly went there to try and get this situation resolved. We'd heard the hotel management previously had run the hotel into the ground and that it was a "good thing" best western had bought them out, but clearly things are still a huge mess. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The hotel has been recently remodeled. Despite what most reviews stated we had good customer service however we only spent one night. The beds are extremely high off the ground which was fine for us but something to keep in mind depending on your mobility. The hotel is easily accessible from the road.

Made a reservation tru bestwestern.com 4 days before arriving, I needed a 2 beds room,so that's what I reserved. When I arrived Mara at the front desk told me she cannot honor us what we reserved, she said she didn't had a 2 beds room available for us, and my reservation was for a king, I showed her the screenshot I had for my reservation and she responded me, that she didn't know why I had something different than she had, (so like I was going to enter their page and change it) and plus the king bed was “expensier “ than the room I wanted, I did understand that, and I saw that during reservation, but me and my companion needed a 2 beds, plus she stated that I paid less than the cost of the 2 beds for that day, I mean if I reserved thru their official page, I don have any saying of the increases or decreases of the cost per night at their hotel, like I was a second class customer because I paid less, that's so rude of her saying that directly to us, like nothing. Mara needs a lot of training, Mara needs to understand that if you reserve a room with certain characteristics it's because you want and need that, that's why I made the reservation prior arrival to ensure my room, which she denied to us. I was really tired, and I just took whichever Mara decided to give us, even thou we knew that she had 2 beds room available, but apparently not for us. Please train Mara. Won't be back again, i have stayed at best western before but never encounter any front desk personnel to treat us like Mara.

The good: The hotel was inexpensive and has been somewhat recently remodeled. The fitness center had 3 treadmills, an elliptical and sufficient space and weights to get in a workout. It was quiet The bad: Housekeeping appears to be almost non-existent. I stayed 3 nights and my room was never serviced. I had to go down to the front desk on the second night to get more towels. The workout room did not have any towels. The trash can by the elevator was overflowing the second morning and still when I came back that night. I only had the free breakfast the first morning and I had just the bacon and eggs - mediocre, ate elsewhere the other mornings. There was no coffee the entire time I was eating. They had one carafe of regular coffee which was empty, the lady working the breakfast area took it in back and it never reappeared while I was there. There was some kind of lid to a dish on the floor of the first floor hallway back to the fitness center/pool that was there my entire stay that no one felt the need to pick up. Also, my room overlooked the parking lot and there was a bright street light. The room did not have blackout curtains, just a screen-like shade. I had to stack pillows on the bed to create a wall to block it out.

Your room won't be cleaned unless you spend at least 2 nights and then you have to request it. There is a card in the room about towels on the floor vs hanging them up to re-use. Hang them cuz they won't be in to clean.

Hotel could use improvements. While the lobby looks shiny and new, housekeeping has a lot to be desired. Floors in hallways need to be mopped and vacuumed. The door in my room had potato chip crumbs that hadn't been cleansed up. Pillows in bed were all the same making it hard to seep for those that can't sleep on thick foam pillows. No towels or wipes in the workout room and no garbage in the bathroom in the workout room. The hotel is in the middle of industrial buildings so if you don't have a car you will need to Uber to a restaurant for food.

Some of the front desk staff is very lazy as today I as to have my room clean and still not clean I go down to the front and the girls that working the front desk is on a personal phone call I stand for almost 10 min and walk away.For the money we pay here we should be treat this way it a nice hotel but the staff need to be retained about customers service. The spend more time trying to get out of work them doing there job.the time is 4.08 PM and no one answering the phone down stair.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly, check-in efficient, room was clean and had ample space, linens clean and comfortable, comfortable bed, typical motel breakfast. Location is right off I-70 and near the bustling Northfield area with lots of shops, eating places, Bass Pro Shops, etc. Only drawback is it's kind of hidden, and my GPS tried to take me somewhere else…we ignored it because by then we could see where we were going, but just be forewarned on that. Despite being right by the interstate, it was surprisingly quiet – maybe because the loud a/c unit provided more than ample white noise and blocked outside noise. The facility is undergoing renovation, and has a very contemporary feel to it. Room décor is very modern style. The floor is wood-look quarry tile, which was surprising since most motel rooms are carpeted, but in thinking about it, that's probably far more sanitary than carpet. I don't know if the renovations are incomplete, or poorly done, but there were a number of workmanship issues – paint drips on floor, paint that didn't cover, missing trim pieces around sprinkler heads and such. Those didn't really detract from our stay, but didn't reflect a great deal of care by whomever did the work. Outside the facility is a mess, which may be part of the pending renovation work, but the pool needs serious help (and is not currently in use), new sod that is dead, cleanup work needed, etc. Hopefully that's coming. Only other negative was the view out the window leaves a lot to be desired – our window looked out at a nasty empty pool with peeling paint, algae, and trash in it, and (this part isn't the motel's fault), what appears to be a highway department storage area full of industrial stuff. But despite those drawbacks, we got a nice rest in a clean and comfortable bed, which was what we were here for.
