I really love this place!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always hot and delicious!! The rooms are always cozy and comfortable. The internet is always 5 bars. I will have no other choice but to keep coming back again and again. Love, love , love this place
My go to place when working in Corpus Christi. Clean, safe, friendly and consistent. Their location is perfect for all of the channel industries, and still convenient to restaurants and shopping. Great amenities and the Best Western Rewards club makes it even better.
We were in town for a concert. The hotel was Very clean, and had comfortable rooms. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean and cold. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Lobby was welcoming and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
The best beds I've ever slept on. Front desk was very helpful. I needed help with directions around corpus. I asked Parth for directions around and he went into detail what there was to do. I went and had a great night. I had questions about what kinds of beds were used.
We had 12 guys for 6 nights stay for a job. Lisa, the sales manager, was a huge help in making sure everything was ready. We had some issues with some of our help and the staff at the hotel helped us out every step of the way.
The room smelled musty and moldy. Very damp in room. Emineties were adequate. Breakfast was great. Pool was not open a couple of days due to person that was suppose to clean pool didn't show up.
Stayed March 11-15 Pros: The staff was very nice Free parking Breakfast Cons:Room had an odor room had hair on the floor once you enter bath tub and vent had mold floors dirty under the sink was trash and a bottle cap trash can still had trash under the liner table had cup stain floor had tops on the floor and behind the tv left earrings and called for a week and told not found
Stayed here several times for work. Lots of workers this stay. Hotel was booked. Security is terrible. Woman on golf cart staying in one area. I parked right in front . My toolbox was broken into an all my tools were stolen. Needs better security.
Stayed 5 nights visiting family in the area. Breakfast was good and the lady servicing it was friendly and on the ball. Hotel guests there are mainly energy workers. I found the maintenance lacking. Room was not cleaned the first day even though I hung the please clean room tag on door. Now for the fun part. My room was on the 4th floor and both elevators were out of order for two and a half days. At 71 years old hiking up 8 sets of stairs to get to my room is unacceptable. Finally one elevator got fixed. The shower in the room had extremely low water pressure and flow. The shower door handles were loose and corners dirty. Sink was propped up with a 2x4. The printer in the business area was out of order the entire stay. Owners are obviously conservative on their maintenance. I would not stay there next trip.
If you require a handicap room, do not stay here. Rooms are not accommodated for handicap individuals even when they tell you they are . Handicap rooms are on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall. You have to be at least 5'7 to get on the beds comfortably. Only 1 grab bar in bathtub. Our toilet seat was not even the right size for the toilet. It was an all around horrible stay. We left after the first night.
The Best Western Executive is a gem on the Northwest side of Corpus Christi. We have a conference every year and this is where we keep all of our guests. We have used them annually since 2019 and we usually have about 14 rooms for two nights. Each time we stay here we feel like we have been treated like Royalty. The rooms are clean and inviting, the breakfasts are hot and fresh, and the staff, from the front to the back, are the absolute best to work with. They are so accommodating and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here! You will be happy you did!
This place is going down rapidly. It seems with each stay, I've noticed things get worse, and clearly, management is looking the other way. Initially, this was a nice place, and appeared well-maintained. But, this is no longer the case. Evidently, management is cutting cost in EVERY area, including maintenance and housekeeping. This hotel used to greet it's guest upon arrival with a complimentary gift bag which included snacks and a couple of sodas/waters. Now, you have to request bottled water, and you'll have to carry it by hand, since they no longer have gift bags. In fact, they no longer provide the dirty-laundry bags you used to find hanging in their closet. The soap, shampoo, and toilet paper is generic. The tissue dispensers contain one, tissue paper; decoratively folded. When the tissue is pulled, it reveals an empty tissue box. Remember the “primary” colors? Blue AND yellow make green, right? Take a look at the pool. This pool should have been locked & tagged out of service, but it wasn't. I didn't see anyone in it, but it was NOT locked, and you know how kids are… They'll just jump right in. Loose handles/hinges; door that won't slide, or come off track, and lets not forget the mold in the shower/bathroom. On my last stay, I was awoken at 0413 hrs by the extremely loud, blaring sound of the hotel's fire alarm. I called the front desk to inquire about the alarm. The front desk clerk said, “Oh yeah. It looks like something's unplugged. I'll reset the system. Sorry.” So much for a “good, night's rest…” To “top things off” I awoke to find my toiletries covered with fire ants. I left a message for the manager to call me; to no avail. Take a look at the attached pics; they tell quite a story… The pic with the fire-ants is the priceless.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The couple of issues I did have were the elevators in the hallways had a foul odor. The rooms had a mild odor but there's no AC in the hallways extremely hot so it causes your room AC not to be able to keep up and cool, the room adequately.
This hotel is good. There is NO bar or restaurant. There are local foods, mostly fast food. They have done a good job keeping the grounds clean and safe. The lobby is a good place to meet with clients and family.
The bathroom has no ventilation, dirty restroom, has mildew in shower and toilet. The room wreaked of nicotine smell. The entire hotel starting from when the elevator opened stunk like mildew! Be weary and go and inspect the room.
I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel. This place is horrible. Guest needs are not priority. There are roaches in the rooms, and not very clean. Towels were not available, and staff was not concerned. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.
This hotel meet my expectations, I was nervous reading all the other reviews but I didn't experience any issues. The breakfast was good, they had a variety of items. The only thing I will say was that we didn't have anyone clean the room during our stay, which didn't bother me because we only stayed a couple of days.
Very Disappointing. This used to be a nice place but it has gone to pot. I refused the first room which had many problems. The second room was somewhat better but still poor. This place is NOT up to Best Western Standards, much less the higher Executive Plus standards. The staff was nice but it looked to me like the Owner failed to do maintenance and failed to have things inspected to be sure they were right for the customers. I will not be staying here again.
The room I stayed in #316 had mold growing in the shower. The air conditioning unit was filthy and moldy. The room had an awful smell, the elevator smelled like something dead. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Check-in was very smooth, rooms were clean and all amenities worked. The breakfast was the highlight for me personally. It felt like I was eating at a Denny's or IHOP. Definitely impressed me. The beds were very comfortable so I got some good sleep in before a long day ahead of me. I had no issues during my stay and will definitely be staying at this location whenever I make a trip to Corpus Christi from now on.
Best Western in Corpus Christi - Fantastic - Very Prestigeous Best Western - Highly Recommend. In Terms of the Refineries - it is a Great Location and still only about 10 to 15 minutes from Downtown Corpus.
Excellent staff, courteous and quick to meet any needs. Very clean rooms with nice amenities. Pet friendly. Great complimentary breakfast selection. Highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.
Gym smells always needs blowers in there, and building needs mayor repairs. There was heavy rain and water was pouring through the front desk lobby and the gym got flooded. Double check your stays and if you want to extend don't take their word for it ask for it on paper. I trusted that the employee could that for me and was forced to go because they had rented my room.
Room was filthy. Person toilet seat, feces on wall next to it and pubic/body hair on tub and floors. Floors covered in dirt and not mopped. Appliance and wall and food on them and were not cleaned. They charged me for the room after telling me they were comping it, even though 3 rooms we looked at were just as dirty so didn't move. Noise was unbearable. You could hear the people talking through the walls at midnight as if they were in your room. Then then pounding on the walls and stuff being thrown everywhere hitting floors started. They couldn't tell what room it was coming from so didn't call the one above or below to address it.
Pool was green and unusable. Only one elevator worked. Rooms smelled and had mold. Beds are very firm. Pillows were small but very high. Showers trickled. Took forever to replace coffee. If you want a hot breakfast be there before 7am.
The hotel was in very clean and up to date shape. Weather in Corpus can be tedious and it rained six inches in a short time period. The staff had to put out sandbags at 1st level doors. They did a GREAT job taking care of the facilities. The floor dryers were out and keeping the room clean from the elements. Breakfast was very good and the dinning area very clean.
I reported at front desk right away that my a/c was not working, staff helped with having me move to a better room that A/C was working good, was very satisfy with the 2nd room a/c was working everything in room was in good order, willing to stay there another trip.
The hotel was excellent it was just the receptionist where they did not help me on what I need it Which was when I asked for extra blankets, pillows she said no that they ran out. Since they didn't have a room with two beds I had to make the best out of it.
Was not a horrible place. There was a very strong cleaner odor in the lobby (prob sanitizing solution of some kind). Checking in was more painful than it needed to be since we had to wait an extra 45 minutes to get checked into our room since one was not available at check in time (3PM). Bathrooms were not terrible, but I feel could have been cleaner. The room was freezing which is great in most cases, but not when the bed only comes with a skimpy cover and turning up the thermostat doesn't help and you are still freezing. The bed was comfortable and it was a good sized room.
We stayed here for a Father's Day getaway. We had requested to be away from the ejectors snd ice machines to cut down on the noise level. We arrived close to 5:00 pm on a Friday. Housekeeping was still hard at work on the 3rd level where our designated room was. Having lived in the area returning for a visit I knew the layout of the area. Beaches were of no interest to either of us, so this was a great choice. We didn't eat breakfast, although it was offered and many guests did. The room was a suite, but very small,& we were ok with that. It had a mini 2 burner stove, tiny fridge, microwave & coffee maker. There were a few dishes and utensils also. Our room looked out onto the back parking lot,& because of that we elected to park where the car was in full view. Entering from the back side is a bit of a hassle as one entry doesn't allow cards to be scanned & the other scannable entrance causes guests to scale the outer wall of the pool & upon entering the floor was ALWAYS WET from people coming in from the pool. There were fold up signs indicating the floor was wet, unfortunatelyyhecejrvatkrs are right near this area. For safer entry and exiting choose one of the side doors off the lobby & dining areas Expect kids in the summertime. Our room was quiet, for the most part, however, it sounded like running with the bulls upstairs & in the hallway, & this went on late into the night with people taking loudly, kids yelling & running up & down the hallway. We are those people who gently hold your sours closing them quietly so as. It to let it slam and disturb others. It's called RESPECT. All in all it was an ok stay for our two evenings. The place was pretty neat and clean & our room smelled good when we arrived. No bathtub, showers only. The bed & pillows were comfortable.
We had to find a last minute hotel due to a loss in our family.I called this hotel and spoke to Elizabeth she was so helpful and even gave us a a special they were having so we got some money off. When we arrived the facility was very clean our rooms were nice the had a slide in door mirror for the restroom a kitchen area so cute. The only thing I didn't like was the pool water looked kind of dirty so we didn't swim but overall everthing was great.
The room was nice but.... not the smell. It just smelled like sour mold. When I took a look at the actual air vent it was full of M O L D! The restroom was decent but you could tell they had some sort of mold issue because they painted right over it. The walls are too thin, you can even hear your neighbors conversations, when you are trying to sleep at 12:30AM. Breakfast was decent the Texas waffles were amazing! It was very clean and attentive!
Room & hotel were very clean. Check in was fast. Really enjoyed the room and the kitchen net. The bathroom shower had hot water and the lighting is great. The pool was open and clean. Hotel staff were all wearing their masks.
The toilet paper in this almost $200 a night room was of such Poor quality that it talk to you at first use! The same goes for the tissue used for blowing noses! There was mold on the lampshade between the two queen beds. There was a little ring of dirt around the bottom of the shower . There was only one small trashcan in the room meant for three adults and I could barely fit our McDonald's trash in it. Very unhappy with this stay.
Very nice place and very clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. Hotel was very clean and well kept. Parking lot was well lit up. Breakfast was very good, fresh and hot. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great customer service rooms were really nice had internet TV cable nice big bed breakfast in the moring everybody was nice had washer and dryers didn't take long to check in or out and they sold drinks candy and free alcohol beverages during the week it was awesome
Booked this hotel on a last minute decision. No problems booking or checking in. I would have given a five star rating if it weren't for an issue with low water pressure and leftover shaving cream and razor in shower. I reported this to the staff and was offered another room. Overall, staff was friendly and courteous, as they should. Amenities and hotel appearance on par with other similar hotels. Yes, I would stay here again.
we stayed Nov 19-20 1 night stay but we always get treated great, all the help from front desk to cleaning ladies have always been great and very helpful, we look for Best Western at every location we stay at, we have always had great luck with the brand and all the personal involved with Best Western ...
The hotel is as fine as most I stay in. The water pressure is a little low. Air conditioner could work better. Close to where I needed to be for work. Gas station across the street. Easily accessible to the highway. Everyone working there was very nice. I checked in and out very effeciently.
Jessica at the front desk was very helpful and nice checking us in and telling us about the hotel. the hotel was clean and well taken care of. It was very quit and we will definitely be staying again.
I had to book my hotel last minute because of a death on the family. The staff was great and the hotel was nice and smelled great. It made my staff comfortable. We were able to focus on family instead of an uncomfortable stay. Thank you Best Western!
Room a.c was not working. Promptly was moved to another room. BIG PLUS. however there was a "party" going on at the rear gazebo that lasted til 3am! My room was right above that area. Attempts to contact desk were unsuccessful. At least 10 to 15 people were out there drinking and bbq in. On a Monday night. Was hard to get any sleep.
My children and I stayed here to attend a family wedding. We weren't expecting too much since it is located right off the highway. Which was true as there was nothing to really do in the area. Check in was quick and out room was ready (we arrived before the actual check in time). Our room was on the 2nd floor and. when we got off the elevator the tile in that area looked as though someone hat spilled something. Room was ok. Tile at entry could of been mopped better. Bathroom was strange as the toilet was situated in the middle of the bathroom. So it was hard to be at the sink without bumping into the toilet-just a weird configuration. Friday night was not too great as my son and I heard people running up and down the hall and making lots of noise. This was at 2:00 AM! Breakfast Saturday morning was not too great. Coffee could of been better. It actually tasted like brown water. Kids nibbled on toast and the juice coming out of the juice machine was water. Only stay here if you have to.
An adequate place to stay. Had a rushed arrival, pre-registered and still was delayed significantly at check-in. Informed staff member of necessity of speedy check-in to no avail....Would not want to use this feature (pre-check-in) if the speedy service is represented falsely.
does Best Western is beautiful of doubt everything was immaculate had fire pits outside had a really pretty swimming pool can't stand up a level pack Christmas tree inside of the huge lobby I had stationed in every level setting mute the phone out of the room I had one of the best breakfasts I've had just 10 * presidential Hotel because this is suck it up
No linens for sofa bed where kids needed to sleep. Front desk phone not answered at 9pm, and "24 hour staff" could not be found anywhere. Luckily linen storage area was unlocked so I just went in and got the needed linens so kids could go to bed.
Room smelled of mildew, floor tiles greasy and slippery. Worst breakfast ever; no meat or scrambled eggs, dried-out bagels smeared with overcooked eggs, French toast that looked like it was used to clean bugs off windshields. Far below Best Western's usual high quality. AVOID! At least until they hire a real cook, shampoo their carpets, clean their AC coils and clean the grease off their floor tiles.
Great place to stay and very comfy! Hotel is very clean and staff are accomadating! Beds are nice and comfy and the amenities are priceless. THis is my place to stay when I come to Corpus Christi. Staff are very nice and always remember me.
Booked a more expensive room with a balcony. The gave us a room on the 1st floor with a view of the parking lot. Did not matter because the wall, of the balcony, was very tall and if you sat down - you saw a brick wall. So - 15 minutes after being there a group of circus performers got the room above us. We heard it all. I asked the front desk to have them hold it down. It got worse. I asked to be moved. They did and it was much better. The door to the bathroom was on a rail and it was heavy. Every time I went to the bathroom, in the middle of the night, I woke up my wife with the scraping and groaning of this door. The breakfast was good, but a large group of kids came down and cleaned it out. We had to go ask to restock the breakfast. Once we asked - they jumped and refilled it nicely. Not really worth the price we paid. Would only stay again if the price was much cheaper.
The free bar after work happy hour between 5:30 and 7:30 was the best. That is why many (all) keep returning. Very good drinks and beer selection. The bar is set up as a sports bar. The bartender was very good and professional. I will stay there again on my next Business trip.
The entire staff was great! We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the grounds. Only think we thought was odd that the hotel bar is only open Monday thru Thursday. We would stay here again for sure.
This hotel is great. It is lower in price than those closer to the gulf, but is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is hot and good, and the rooms are clean and accommodating. There are no amenities that a more expensive hotel have that this one does not include. The only issue I had was the bed was very high off the floor. I basically had to climb onto it and the pillows were more like throw pillows size wise.
We paid $150 per night during the summer season (Late July) so that we could vacation in Corpus for a long weekend as a couple. It turned out to be a disappointing experience overall. Apart from the moderately attractive appearance of the hotel, there were several design flaws in the room that caused functional problems for us during our stay. Our bathroom door was very heavy and it would slam into the glass shower sliding-door every time we opened it passed a certain point. The bathroom was so small that the builders hadn't hinged the door in the right direction so that it would open outwards instead. Ridiculous. If an accident happened and the shower shattered we are well aware that we would be the ones charged despite the functional flaw. The toilet seat was too small for the actual toilet and my husband would slide on it and almost fall off while on it. Let's face it, no one wants to fall off the toilet when they're dropping logs. The electrical wiring in the room posed not only functional problems, but violated safety standards as well. An entire wall of outlets were controlled by a switch (which is normal so you can easily turn everything off), but the problem was that we couldn't turn off the lights separately if we still wanted to use the outlets but keeps the lights off. We ended up having to use a different wall to charge our phones and plug in our devices. Breakfast was mediocre, there was hardly enough waffle batter and toppings supplied relative to their popularity. On the second morning, I noticed the hotel reused the old batter from the prior morning because we went to breakfast earlier but the waffle batter was out, previously there was about a quart left, and I could tell by the copious amount of toppings left that they never replaced the batter that ran out. The hotel charges you for breakfast within the cost of your room- nothing is ever "free". The front-desk attendant only handed us one pillow and one roll of toilet paper when we asked for extra for the king-suite we stayed in. There was two of us, and yet it felt rather stingy that we only received 1 extra pillow. The rooms, pool, and lobby are all made to look bigger than they are in the pictures, and unless you reserve an "executive" king suite for more than $150 a night on the outskirts of Corpus Christi, you are not getting more than a microwave, a mini-fridge, and bathroom sink for food preparation. This hotel seemed to be most popular with families who had kids; which wasn't an issue, but if you're planning a get-away be prepared to be underwhelmed and to stand in an elevator that smells like feet and pool water from the tiny pool they have. Overall, I feel like the reviews are very inflated for the cost and feel of our stay. I've stayed in nicer, cheaper hotels, with full kitchens large indoor pools and separate rooms in Houston. Which is ironic considering the price point differences of the two cities. Literally the only two "executive" features of the hotel was the Qi charger on the night-stand, and the fact that the hotel offered decent security for their Wi-Fi.
Although this hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from downtown, it was a really welcoming hotel. Upon arrival, I was notified of breakfast times in the morning, fitness room times, pool times, and free happy hour going on. I usually have issues with my key card for the doors, no problem. I settled fairly quickly in, went down stairs for a glass of wine, and was able to take it back to my room to get some work done. The rooms are very clean, had a fridge, and microwave, spacious bathroom. Even the decor looked like they put more thought into it than some other hotels. They were accommodating with my work expenses and the breakfast was great. They even had almond milk (the kind I drink) as a choice! Overall very nice and would definitely come back.
We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lounge area is very large and there was an array of many different breakfast options.
The check in was fast, the rooms were GREAT! Very Spacious clean and we did not need anything and the breakfast was Awesome so much to choose from and I believe they have complimentary drinks M-T after 5 at the bar
Rooms are amazing here and the staff is very accomodating. Open bar has alot of selections. Noise is not an issue here. Beds are so comfy and rooms are very comfortable. I highly suggest staying here. It is still close to many things
I loved the environment. Very calm. The staff was friendly. Room were clean and the restroom was clean that's a plus. Beds were comfy the pillows were fluffy. My room had 2 TVs one in living room the other in bedroom that was awesome.
Very Clean and modern. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. All the pillow were very hard and hurt my neck. Breakfast did not have variety. The internet was very slow during the evening and night but improved in the morning.
Great place to book for your next vacation. Location is just about right, staff were friendly and informative, rooms were spacious and clean, they have a good variety of continental breakfast every morning. The hotel overall was great, clean and best getaway vacation stay.
Best hotel i stayed at so far ! Very muchh recommend! A lil far from the beach bt wld stay there again love that they had a bbq pit for outdoor cooking connected to hotel vas line which made it very more easier to cook !
People in front are very friendly and informative, the room was very spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The morning breakfast was super good and with enough variety to please all tastes. There is enough parking with elevator to all floors.
This hotel is a nice, clean hotel. It has a friendly staff (not only the 2 check in/out people we encountered but the housekeeping staff we encountered throughout our 2 day stay. Every one was friendly and had smiling faces. Even the night watch person was friendly when we arrived at midnight) The hotel in itself is clean. The bedding was clean, our room was clean, front area was clean, and you could tell housekeeping was trying to keep up with Memorial Day weekend traffic in the elevator and walk way areas. I will say, it was noisy with the people upstairs, like they didnt know how to walk light footed, but we didnt complain to the hotel and its not really their fault as a hotel so Im not taking points off for that, and after all it was Memorial Day weekend, what can you expect. Another draw back, that you cant tell on a map is its location to everything. Its about a 10 minute drive to anywhere to get to a main highway to get to the main attractions in Corpus, like a beach or the aquarium and so on. Again, not necessarily the hotels fault so I wont take off either. Overall, this is a good place to stay, its friendly and clean.
When I arrived to check in I had time wait a little bit, but a man who seemed to be management walked by and assured me someone would be right with me. He went in the back and a representative assisted! It was refreshing to see Customer Service still exist! I really appreciated the acknowledgement and follow through!
The hotel is fairly new but very modern and clean. I stayed in an King non smoking and it was beautiful. I loved the design of the room and the bed was VERY comfy. I liked that the alarm clock doubled as a phone charger with USB and outlet connectors. Also it has a wireless charging pad. Shower was BEAUTIFUL as well. Great place with an amazing price too.
Failed to service our room with new sheets and towels while we were out for the day and they didn't really do anything to rectify the issue when we reported it. Pool was also ice cold. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because breakfast was good and check in lady was friendly.
Great breakfast , slept good in the comfy bed only thing we wish was better weather. We left home for warmer weather but had 1 good day then it was warmer at home than Corpus Christi. Hotel was close to everything. Had to get use to the frontage roads which we don't have at home. Drivers were pretty crazy. NO ONE did the speed limit, if it was 70 they go 85.
The executive residency puts a neat spin on the best western brand. The ER rooms are quite large with a beautiful bathroom and overall quaint feeling. There is free breakfast that is a step above your normal continental style. M-Th 530-730p there is a happy hour with complimentary drinks, there isn't a limit unless the bar keep determined you need one. Every single staff member here is extremely kind and hardworking. Parking is plenty, the place is very quiet and in a somewhat remote area but within a mile or two of serious commercialism such as shopping and food and what not. Jack in the box and a convenient store/gas station is within walking distance. There is an outdoor pool as well.
As you are entering Corpus on IH 37 there is a fresh new hotel under the BW banner that is an attractive location with very nice amenities and high standards in furnishings but also basic to the needs of travelers without a huge room rate Stop in for a bit of a different experience, check in at the bar on ground level for a drink if you are so inclined. A happy hour is in place daily. Bath linens are nice, bed is comfortable, TV is up to date micro, fridge (no freezer) is roomy. Location is close to highway for a quick jump east, west, north, or south moves.
This hotel is new with friendly staff and well appointed rooms. Great value and location for a leisure stay. Hotel also allows pet guests which my two fur girls totally enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable as well.
Will be back, Loved the staff and always smells amazingRamona is awesome always has a smile noo matter how busy or how big the school is that she just checked in. We will be back next year with the Saxet Gun Show.
Guys, last time we stayed in this Best Western Plus during our previous business trip and we were impressed very much. So this time we came back. It looks like a return to home! The management knows the right understanding of hospitality and comfort. Everything is done to make the traveler feel as he/she is at home. Starting with the interior of the hotel and the rooms particularly, various meals, wonderful swimming pool, and finishing with complimentary laundry. Besides, you may buy a detergent at the reception. My personal opinion that the Best Western is the Best Hotel for me throughout the world whenever I stay (in Germany, Spain, Turkey) I always compare their hotel with the Best Western, the american Best Western is simply the best.
Very clean hotel and comfortable beds. We had a suite because it was 5 of us. It came with a fully equipped kitchen including dishes. Everyone had their own bed. Staff was great. We had an issue was the mosquitoes and our toilet kept backing up. We could not enjoy the barbeque grill and patio area for the mosquitoes. We did not get to have the free breakfast because it was very crowded. But we will definitely stay again.
We stayed on the 4th floor. Room was bigger than expected. Staff was friendly in general. Hard to tell which door was the front door. The bathroom was clean. We had two queen beds that were comfortable, though the mattress was a little firm for my taste. We had to ask for additional shampoo as the bottles we had were so small. We found one roach dead on the floor. The cleaning staff apologized for it and handled it quickly. The outdoor pool seemed smaller than expected but we didn't swim there as we spent the time at the beach. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would go back.
Very clean and neat. Very nice staff. No congestion during breakfast. Parking was good too.. They say Kitchenette but it's a full kitchen- great value for your money- For $124 a night..I will book Best Western Executive suite everytime I travel.
BW Plus is a good place to stay if working trip takes you to Corpus Christi. Only open since April it is convenient to the industrial north side of the city and only a ten minute drive from the beach front.
I booked the queen suite for my family, was best money spent. Plenty of room had small kitchen with microwave dishwasher sink stove top and dishes and silverware to use as well as paper towels. Room was very clean. Love the bathroom mirrors light up like the ones at safora. Would definitly stay at the Best Western suites again.
I Enjoyed my stay here very much. Especially how clean and very stylish the rooms are. I also enjoyed the complimentary happy hour that had free drinks from 5:30 - 7:30. The free breakfast was a plus too!
the hotel was great. brand new. staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. family friendly. would definitely recommend and stay again. close to downtown, beach, and attractions. easy to get to anything you want to do.
I was very fortunate to stay at this hotel when I did. The weather was nice, and I enjoyed a nice view of the port from the 4th floor room. The room was well set up, and very comfortable. The gym was well stocked with free weights, a weight machine and treadmills. The staff was extremely helpful, and very friendly. I had a cell phone problem, and sales manager Bailey Chambliss helped out with her charger. The manager, Rob Bhakti, was great. Sarah Guerrero provided friendly check in service and had tips on restaurants. Donell (did not get her last name) was very good in the breakfast area. A great stay all around.
Reserved room using TripAdvisor partner Booking.com and paid them $300. received confirmation email. Showed up to hotel (800 miles from home) and no reservation in their system. Called booking.com who apologized for their "computer outage" after 30 minutes on hold. They contacted hotel who had rooms available but Booking.com refused to pay what the hotel was asking and wanted me to pay the difference! Warning: NEVER, EVER BOOK THRU TRIPADVISER OR BOOKING.COM!
Brand new place had all the amenities well maintained.Small Kitchen was a surprise. Staffs here are so courteous.Gym was very well equipped. Kids love this place. It's a great value for money.Kudos to all the service staff to making it a memorable trip.
So glad I took a chance and picked this hotel!! The rooms were spacious, bathroom was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the hotel itself was modern, new and clean. The staff were very friendly. Everyone greeted you when they walked by and were cheerful. It is on the outskirts of town, but considering the amounts that everyone charges to be close to the beach, this hotel was worth it. If you're headed to beach, you have to drive through town to get there, so take the opportunity to stop and grab whatever you need on the way back in (their is a Walmart on the way to Mustang Island off 358 at Flour Bluff Dr that's open 24 hours)
This is an excellent property! Brand new and staff goes out of their way to take care of you! We will definitely visit this location again. We were on our way to South Padre and decided to break the trip up. So glad we did or we would have never discovered this Best Western.
Stayed for 2 nights for a family graduation. The bed were so comfortable!! A++. Will definitely stay when I'm in town again. Great access to highway and no more that 10 minute drive to beach. Loved the breakfast!
This was my first time in Corpus Christi and this hotel was stellar. It's brand new and it's run as smooth as silk. All of the staff members treated me with respect and they were always polite. The rate I paid was reasonable. My room was big and spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. And the hotel is easily accessible I-37 at Exit 10 if you're going north, via the frontage road, and Exit 11A if you're going south. It was worth every penny. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town
We Had a 2 day USTA tourney so we booked 2 nights. We will stay here again and again! The building is a clean line design from the outside & plenty of parking. The coastal decor meets you in the lobby, where the seating area & breakfast accommodations are joined together in a massive area surrounded by two story windows. We got a Third floor room, 2 adults 1 teen, 2 queen beds. Our nephew thought we were at the Hamptons! The room is spacious, with a steel fridge & microwave, big Samsung Flat screen in the middle, 3 long drawers for clothes and a nice seating area at the end of the room. The desk is bigger than most with a comfortable chair, desk lamps, and numerous wall plugs everywhere. He used as gaming area, with his PC. The alarm clock has a Qi pad for wireless charging for Apple or Samsung phone. Next to the beds are lights and 2 reading lights. The mattresses were soo comfortable, higher end, not a basic model. The wall to wall lighting in the bathroom is amazing! I want it for my house. You can control your AC temperature as well. Shower is high, pressure was great, 2 speed shower head and sliding glass doors. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurts, breads, oatmeal for sure! The workout area is spacious with one of everything. We booked through Orbitz and got $15 dollar credit for next time!
OMG! If you are traveling to Corpus Christi, you must stay at this new hotel! It's beyond beautiful! It's modern, clean and they have large TV's in the rooms! They didn't cut corners when building this hotel! I will continue to stay at this property when I travel to Corpus! Rob the GM and the staff are wonderful! Keep up the great work!
We found a room here the day after the hotel opened. It is located close to the beginning of Corpus by the plants. It is beautiful and super modern. Smelled so good being brand new. The room was awesome. King bed very comfortable. Bathroom has walk in shower - no tub. Bath towels were super soft. There was also a mini kitchen in the room. Super large Samsung TV made viewing easy from the bed. Great outside sitting area. We loved our stay there. Breakfast was the normal fare. The only thing that I would say negative was the bedspread was a bit scratchy for me. But overall, I loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.
