Best Western Clifton Park

We stayed two nights at the hotel. When we checked in, we were surprised to find an unmade bed in our room. The night manager was surprised, too. Because the room was otherwise clean, we both surmised that the housekeeper had been called away before they finished making up the room and had forgotten to return to complete the cleaning. Oops.....The night manager quickly moved us to another room. Kudos to him for that. Over our stay we found that the toilet would frequently continue running after flushing. Eventually we had to shut off the water supply to the toilet. We reported the issue to the manager and recommended that they add this to their maintenance list after we checked out. The manager on duty thanked us for reporting the issue. On our second night we tried watching television. The television was stuck in a set-up routine that could not be completed. We asked the manager to add this to the maintenance list. The manger thanked us for calling this to their attention. During checkout I asked for a minor credit to our account to compensate us for the issues we had encountered. The manager gave us a credit that was double what I had requested. Would I stay at this hotel again? Yes, I would, because the management listened to our requests and tried to respond to issues as best they could. While the facility could use some preventive maintenance, the staff is attentive and responsive.

After staying for 29 days, we had to check out for 24 hrs. We made reservations to return, but when we were checking in, we were informed we weren't allowed back. We left the room in good shape but they made multiple excuses for why we weren't allowed back there. It's rather upsetting to come up with multiple excuses rather than just tell us why we weren't welcome

Jacuzzi broken and no one on call to fix so it was either swim in the cold pool or just take a bath. Also the water pressure wasn't very good but overall stay was ok. The staff was nice but didn't really know how to fix any problems.

I love that there is an actual breakfast instead of a continental breakfast every morning. Whenever I stay I'll make sure to get the jacuzzi room this way I can make sure I'm relaxing. The pool room has great hours in the pool room itself has an intricate design so that to makes you relax. The water could be a little warmer in the winter months and the jacuzzi could definitely be warmer but other than that I will continue to stay at this place. I always wish I could stay longer!

Small, unassuming 2-story hotel that is stuck in the 90's. Furniture, beds and decor are much outdated. Rooms are surface cleaned at best. Difficult to sleep over the noise the fridge was making. “Hot” breakfast consisted of cold powdered eggs and bacon. Pancake/waffle machine was out of order. We paid for an upgraded “suite” and we had barely enough room to walk around the bed. Needs a complete overhaul for sure.

I booked a meeting room for my daughters birthday party and the staff far exceeded any expectation that I had. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They all went above and beyond to make this day special for my daughter and her friends. I am so grateful for everyone's kindness and help.

This was a stopover during a road trip through New England. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The plumbing was a nightmare. After brushing my teeth, the sink drained very slowly. For a one night stay, I thought we could live with it. Then I went to take a shower an no water came out of the faucet. I got dressed and requested a different room. The night Mgr asked if he could try. Pulled the handle out and raised it back and forth and the water came on. He explained that it was tricky how to turn it on. I told him it was I stalled wrong because I have the same faucet at home. The next morning we went to breakfast and the hot bacon and eggs were not ready for about 30 minutes after breakfast time. Not a happy camper

A little outdated, but I really liked this place. Decent sized room with a balcony door that actually opens, which seems to be a rarity these days. I did not use the indoor pool, but looked really inviting, as did the free breakfast setup. Very polite staff and conveniently located by chain stores and restaurants nearby; there's an IHOP across the street. Kinda kitschy and a throwback, but fun. My room faced the interstate so there was some noise, but I didn't find it too burdensome. Worth noting if you're an especially light sleeper.

The stale smell of smoke at this previous smoking hotel is nearly intolerable. It's in the carpeting, the drapes and the walls. You can not just declare yourself a non-smoking hotel without taking the proactive steps to completely gut all of the rooms. Cigarette smoke is so pervasive.

I have stayed at the Clifton Park, NY best western the last 4 out of 6 years for Saratoga racing. This place is showing its age and going downhill. The TV did not work, and I could not close the fridge due to an ice build-up in the freezer area. We asked for a new room only to have the flapper on the toilet get stuck and the toilet paper holder to break. The breakfast area had flies landing on the food. The hotel staff needs to be on top of the repairs and have someone check the breakfast area. The Wi-Fi did not work on Friday morning. Finally, one positive in the past was the hotel had a hot tub, that is now gone.

Went to a concert in SPAC and this was a great location for an overnight stay. The stay was helpful and friendly. The hotel was much nicer inside than the way it looked on the outside. Nice breakfast and room for the price. My only issue was that the hair dryer didn't work and the jetted tub was obviously placed over an actual tub so stepping in it was a little strange and unsteady.

Been staying here for the past few months for work the staff are polite.Rooms are always clean very consistent not like most hotels if u are looking for a nice comfortable hotel at a great price I would recommend here

Beds are hard and uncomfortable, TV remote almost never works, rooms are somewhat clean but need attention, and place has no gym. The hotel lobby bathroom was broken and out of order. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This trip was well deserved. It doesn't matter which day I decide to stay. It's always a pleasure to be greeted by wonderful customer service. Great food and a hot bath. Plus, the location is convenient because everything you may need is in walking distance.

Our room needed a lot of work. The handle on the toilet was broken and if you were not very careful could (and did) cut your hand. The bathtub faucet dripped loudly - we had to close the bathroom door to keep it from bothering us while sleeping. The walls were very thin and we could hear the people next door all night - fortunately we carry ear plugs. There were some stains on the sheets and the fitted sheet did not fit and came off during the night. One of the washcloths was stained with ?? something. Overall it was not really clean. They did not thank us for being a gold member nor even welcome us when we came in. This place is not up to the standards we have come to expect from a Best Western - it is our place of choice and we've spent a lot of nights at them. Their Best Western name should be taken away.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times and have always been satisfied. This time the indoor pool and hot tub weren't working. A big disappointment. I assume this will be corrected shortly. This is a very good perk for a relatively inexpensive hotel.

Stayed here past 4 out of 5 years. It is a guy's getaway weekend at Saratoga racetrack. All hotels jack the rates for racing season, but the rates here are reasonable. This place is not bad, not great. Decent breakfast, but the breakfast area is small. We had some difficulty checking in with computer problems / server reboot. Rooms are average and clean, but you can walk to restaurants, shopping areas if needed. Hot tub was not working, pool water was cold, only one ice machine was working.

Stayed for 2 nights booked very last minute. Although it had mixed reviews figured 4 out of 5 can't be so bad and wasn't going to pay over $200/night for the other available hotels. It was around $150ish a night. No matter what the price I do expect clean. No employee except one ever acknowledged us, not even at check in or check out. Upon entering room (which was a nice size) first thing I noticed was dust ruffle tucked between the mattress and box spring. Next thing was 3 decent sized stains on the top sheet (no comforter). Although you can see they were laundered, they should have been thrown out. And it looked as if someone sat on the bed after it was made as the bedding was completely wrinkled and very messy looking. As we were not spending much time in the room, I dealt with it. There is no way housekeeping did not notice the first impression I would have was not good. Such an easy fix but when I received the survey the following day I explained that and said hotel has potential to be good with some attention to detail and got the form letter answer as noted in the response from hotel listed on below review. And other reviews. Don't say you are going to look into it and make it better if you are clearly not going to. One of the reviews prior to my booking said the same thing about the messy bedding and obviously nothing was addressed. The bed was comfy. We had the breakfast one morning and it was good. The bathroom is small but met our needs.

Our recent stay was horrible. A computer problem prevented us and many others from checking in between 6:30 pm-9:30 pm. We were tired from travel and needed to get situated for medical reasons. The lobby was filled with other guests who were upset by this inconvenience. The shower had a constant drip and the toilet ran all night. This room had not been cleaned, otherwise the toilet would not have been full of feces when we arrived! This was disgusting. When I checked out, the manager, did not apologize for the inconvenience; never mind offering a discount or refund. This lack of customer service and lack of hygiene is a disservice to Best Western. PS-I would expect a clean room and customer service for the price of $177.

Place needs updated. The good. Shelly at the desk 3-11 shift. She was very personable and extremely helpful making sure we were happy. The bad. Randy he was on our second night. Not at all helpful. We asked if he had a corkscrew, Shelly told us they had one the night before, he said he didn't have one and was quite rude. When we came back to the desk to find out where we could go to buy one he magically found one

Rooms need to be cleaned better and Lamps. Pillows need be updated and the sheets on the Beds as well as the Covers need to be better maintained. The sheets especially on the beds were all wrinkle up. The base of the Lamp on the small desk/table had not been cleaned in months. Covered with DUST and Goo.

I had high hopes for our little weekend stay at the Clifton Park BW. However, there were a few issues right off the bat. 1st - we where checked in to room 112, only to discovered the room had been occupied and never cleaned. Shelly at the front desk was super apologetic and said HK staff was to blame. We were moved to room 116. 2nd - this room was clean-ish. There is not enough FeBreeze in the world to cover up the smell of sweat, smoke and dirt. This room had a sliding glass door out to the parking lot. The curtains smelled horribly from cigarette smoke. The chairs were stained, stains on the bathroom vanity and there were stains on the ceilings. Dingy is the word my boyfriend used. I KNOW this is a 2 Star hotel and it's old, but there is no reason a mini-room upgrade could ot be completed. 3rd - Pool area - hot tub broken. Ugh. Pool is beautiful as is the entire pool room. Old...but rustic. However, heated pool is advertised. No way is this sucker heated. Freezing. Like in an uncomfortable way. 4th - picture it, asleep in your bed at 4am in the wee hours of Sunday morning...your hotel door opens, someone's coming in, there is yelling and banging, thank the Lord the chain was on the door! The front desk tried to check someone else INTO OUR ROOM. 5th - we went for breakfast on Sunday morning - best part of this hotel....lovely display, clean room, lots of choices and an amazing pancakes maker! Top notch! When we tried to get back into our room after breakfast, the key wouldn't work....went to the front desk. Literally, "ohhh yeah, cause your not supposed to be there". While I'm in my shorts, t-shirt, carrying my plate of food and my boyfriend is standing with his plate of food, I proceed to be scolded by the front desk person who says there is no record of us in her system! Now, I'm a pretty nice person. But, I literally had to say, "I've been here, in the same room for two days!". Please activate the key so I can get back in my room! She (I was so flustered I didn't get her name) went off about Shelly from Friday not doing the right thing in the system when we had to switch rooms. Which I proceeded yo tell her WHY we had to switch rooms...no apologizes, no sorry for this mess. Like it was my fault Shelly didn't do her job correctly. Well ya know what, Shelly was nice and kind and at least had some level of customer service. As did the kid at the desk on Friday night who ran around to empty rooms looking for an extra pillow for me. One Queen size room for 2 people comes with 3 pillows...hmmmm. So, in summary, this hotel has great potential...and was probably fabulous back in the day. Kids would like the Pool, but dont expect the hot tub. Breakfast is fabulous. Hotel has easy access to shopping, restaurants and main highways. Also, microwave and refrigerator in room worked great and television was nice and big. And no bed bugs upon inspection, so woo-hoo for that.

I booked this hotel without knowing the area. And was happy when the employee Shellie helped me and she made me feel comfortable to be there. The rooms were clean and extra items were left for us so nicely.

I love this hotel the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The whirlpool rooms are super nice. it's always clean and quiet. perfect place for a little get away or if your traveling. also in a perfect location.

No ice bucket in our room, staff had to search dirty rooms to find one. ceiling in bathroom missing tiles,old pizza box left in microwave,tv didn't work had to unplug what looked like a camera,didn't fulfill my request of extra towels either, pool and hot tub were ice cold!

room was adequate and clean was, nice old school Adirondack pool area, I would defintely recommend if I didn't work for a competitor I think this hotel is great bang for buck. Whirlpool in room looked spotless compared to what I had imagined

Minus the one gentleman that checked us in, everyone that worked there didn't seem to really want to work there. Sorry to be a burden to you when you shut all the water off to the entire building and then tell no one about it. Then when I went to the front desk to inquire, I was treated like a child by an very unfriendly woman. The shower not working made us late for our plans. The room was minimally cleaned. Breakfast was good. But price versus what you got...not worth it at all. It was a concert weekend, so of course they jacked up the prices, but still, know your hotel kinda stinks and don't charge that much. I'll never stay at that hotel again.

We checked in @ 7:30pm and had to wait for house keeping to finish cleaning the room. They had children in the room with while they were cleaning the room. When we walked in it didn't smell clean and this is the condition the room was in. See pictures below: we weren't able to find another hotel to stay due to all being booked!

Convenient and low key location if visiting the Saratoga Race Course. Room was clean. Full breakfast offered something for everyone. Staff friendly. On site parking, There are only two floors so there is not an elevator. Pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance while we were there so if you are looking to utilize either you will want to ask about the status before booking. Pillows were good but mattress was pretty firm so if you are curvy and like your bed soft I recommend traveling with a topper; you will sleep much better.

Spent two nights. Even with a the busy season with the nearby Saratoga race track, the welcoming manager kindly afforded me a more advantageous rate than was earlier quoted, upon my arrival. The hotel is two stories with stairs, so if you need a first-floor room, mention that upon booking. This place is in a great location; quiet, with restaurants and stores nearby, and close to I-87. What struck me was how efficient it was to get in and out of the room. My stay was for a child's sports weekend and it was less than a minute walk room-to-car. The room was clean and comfortable - only noticed there was a light out above the mirror in the bathroom. Pool was closed for repair, which I was told when the room was booked. This hotel is serving hot breakfast, which I noticed upon an early departure - bacon and sausage were out, and I'm guessing eggs were going in the third hot pan they had ready. Nice stay and will stay again if in the area.

Cozy hotel. Clean with plenty of creature comforts. Convenient location off highway and close to restaurants and the mall. Good value especially when you get the free breakfast in the morning. Will stay again.

The motel is located behind the IHOP restaurant and has free parking. The rooms which have inside entries include free wi-fi and a free breakfast. My check in went quickly. My room was well laid out and had everything I needed. I got a good night's sleep and my requested wake up call. My check out went without any problems.

Bathrooms in need of repair broken tiles on cieling, rusty cieling grids, locks on doors broken and damaged from people trying to break in (sliders) remotes don't operate tv just go up and down. So you have to go thru EVERY STATION 200+ have to turn on tv at tv and volume at tv. NO GUIDE. Pool not open jacuzzi not open. Caulk in bathroom missing. Old yellowish bathtubs from 70s

Beds are very high off ground but comfortable. Pool isnt available until June. Rooms have plenty of room. Clean also. Variety for breakfast but limited to no hot goods right now. Staff was understanding about kids with autism and could they be loud at times.

We always stay at this Best Western on our anniversary as we stayed there years ago the night we got married. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is very quiet and the heat was easy to adjust. Front Desk staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast has changed due to Covid and I think they need to offer more options, but overall, we always enjoy staying at this Best Western.

Upon arrival in the late evening the room I was given was still dirty when entering. No other rooms were available and had to go out and wait on a clean room. I had to go across the street to a restaurant and wait for a call about a clean room.

The room was really nice. It was clean, had a surprisingly large tv and the room itself was large. We rented out one of the whirlpool rooms, as the website states, “private hot tub room.” However, there wasn't a single drop of hot water in the room. We mentioned it several times to hotel staff and nothing was done. We were given the excuse that there were too many people checked in at the same time so keep trying. We tried over and over and still nothing. If you can't support that many rooms for hot water then you probably shouldn't book so many rooms, or upgrade your water heating system. The sink itself had little to no water pressure and the water was barely trickling out. Nothing was done to amend any of these issues. Hot water is a basic necessity, and it's sad to pay over $300 for a weekend stay where you can't even take a comfortable shower due to the water being cold. Unfortunately we will never stay here again.

We planned a Valentine's Day getaway that turned into a disaster at this hotel. We booked a king room with a balcony and whirlpool. Upon arrival we were told they overbooked and didn't have a room for us. Then told they could put us in a Queen room and then finally a king room but no whirlpool. We had friends who booked a room to join us the next day so we decided to stay . Upon entering the side of the parking lot where we entered to get to our room it was nothing but ice. We were slipping the whole way. My husband had a previous injury to his knee that was aggravated by slipping which caused him pain throughout the stay. We informed the front desk who did nothing . We informed corporate and the next day some salt was placed. Upon entering our room we were relieved to see that it was clean and in decent shape. Then my husband went to take a shower and there was zero hot water . He called the front desk and was told that their hot water heater was being worked on because it stopped working earlier in the day. We definitely were not told this at check in . Unable to shower and now not feeling so upset about not having a whirlpool because we wouldn't of been able to use it anyway, we left for dinner . Came back and was very excited that the hot water returned only for a few hours though and then it went completely out again and never returned . The front desk refused to do anything for us throughout this entire experience. Corporate got a hold of the owner who would only reimburse us $20 . Now we paid for 2 nights , didn't get the room we booked and dealt with no hot water for most of our stay . Corporate did create a rewards account and put a total of 13000 points on our rewards . They were very helpful and kind . Even they could not stop apologizing for what we dealt with and the lack of decency from the actual owner and management of this hotel . Best western themselves were wonderful but this hotel and the management was horrible

I stayed in a whirlpool room with my daughter this weekend and we had a blast! Everyone was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable! So convenient to have had a fridge and a microwave. The pool was closed due to the Pandemic but it looked really nice. We will definitely go back!

Had a great stay. If you can get the suite with jetted tub. It was great and the tub was huge. I would stay here again if in Albany. The room was two rooms that were connected. One room had a jetted tub. It was amazing. Staff was very friendly and everything clean. With all this COVID stuff they did great with making sure everyone is safe.

This hotel is reasonably priced. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The carpet in the hallways are old and look worn down and the bath towels are not soft at all but that's just me being picky. The rooms were absolutely fine. Due to COVID, the pool and breakfast buffet was closed. The pool did look nice though so I'm sure once it's back open, that is a nice amenity to have, as well as the free breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this Best Western while on a business trip to Quebec City Canada. The gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant. My room was very nice, clean & comfortable. The price was reasonable considering the area. Because of Covid, the breakfast, bagel, fruit etc, was in a to go sack. Now one major complaint: The next morning, I needed to print some important papers that were required to deliver a vehicle across the border in Canada. I could not get their printer to connect to either my phone or the two antiquated desktop computers. Both machines were still running Windows 7, which is very insecure, since Microsoft stopped supporting it last year. The very sweet young lady at the desk, Mary Sweeney, tried everything in her power to help me, to no avail. When the maintenance man, Albie came in, he also tried valiantly to get the computer & printer, which was connected by hard wire to print. Needless to say, nothing worked & I had to go somewhere to get the documents printed. A special salute to Mary & Albie! They are both polite, professional & great assets to this Best Western! To the management at this Best Western, you have a very nice hotel. Please update your computers in the business center & make printing possible for your customers.

I've stayed here twice and couldn't believe the changes when I booked a third stay. There was hardly any hot water in the shower...Luke warm at best. I found a used coffee stirrer on the floor and the room was covered in dust so the room was not cleaned properly. Good thing I brought the Lysol. Especially troubling in these times that cleanliness is not top priority. There was a man who slept in his truck all night in the pArking lot and staff either didn't notice or didn't care. One balcony was LOADED with what appeared to be garbage that belonged to a semi permanent guest. And to top it off there was supposed to be grab and go breakfast available in the morning but the breakfast room was closed and locked. Would not recommend and will not be going back

I have stayed at several hotels in different competing chains. While those stays were nice I always find myself comparing them to The Best Western in Clifton Park. The Best Western sets a standard that no one seems to come close to. I only wish they had a Best Western exactly like this one in every state.

The rooms are large and clean. Everything worked great. Check-in was easy and that staff member was very nice. However, there were NO towels in the pool area and when I asked at the front desk the woman was very rude to me. She told me "use your room towels" and then we had no dry towels in our room for the rest of the stay as the maid also rudely told me they had NONE. The breakfast staff kept trying to clean in front of me as I tried to get my food. Staff needs to have better customer service skills. We usually always stay at this hotel and have never run into this problem before.

All the staff at best western Clifton park are true team players great front desk service as well as breakfast and let's not forget the the cleaning ladies rooms are spotless great job everyone it's a great place to start your day Thanks BW CLIFTON PARK

I use this hotel for work all the time. It is clean the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I rented 8 rooms for my employees all 8 rooms were very clean and well maintained. My employees said all the rooms in all different parts of the hotel had great wifi service.

Hot tub, indoor pool, hot breakfast, smoking rooms available upon request, comfortable beds & pillows, HBO, nice flat screen TV's. Amazing amenities, excellent price, will definitely stay next time and in the future and highly recommend!!

Had fun staying at hotel. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Enjoyed the spa tub too. Perfect for a night away. Within walking distance from restaurants. Was very relaxing and fun. Husband and i needed this relaxation time

Overall a great experience. The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive of our needs. The fact that we didnt have to drive far for anything made it that much better. Definitely going to be booking here again.

My friends and I stayed over for a concert and had an awesome time with two adjoining rooms. Clean rooms, nice jaquzzi tub, internet worked well and the pool looked amazing even though we didn't get a chance to use it.

This location was very clean, staff was available, it was right off the thruway. We went to a local concert and it was perfect. We slept great, and it was quiet within the hotel. Very happy with the service and price

We had the opportunity to stay at the hotel one night on our way through town. Booked via Hotwire. Called and spoke to Dan, who was very helpful and confirmed our bed selection for us. When we arrived we met Dan who was just as nice in person as on the phone. Check in was fast and easy. No problems finding a parking spot. Location of hotel is very good in proximity to the highway. Room was clean and presentable. Bathroom was very clean and towels soft. Amenities were good. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The window of our room was on the back side of the hotel backed up by the highway but noise was never an issue. The pool looked enjoyable but we were not there long enough to try it. We left our room the next morning for the continental breakfast. We were greeted in the hallway of the wonderful smell of bacon. What could be better?? Breakfast selection was plentiful and one of the best we have seen. The attendant kept it spotless. I didn't really want pancakes but fell in love with the automatic pancake machine and had to try them out. Wish I could have taken it home with me. Check out was also fast and easy. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again when in the area. Can't wait to come back and use the pancake machine again.

We stayed at this hotel from October 7 till 9 in room 117. The man at the the desk during check in was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good although the coffee machine did not work. Apparently it ran out off coffee.

The room was very clean with a good ambience and coffee maker in the room as well as coffee in the lobby, the beds were very comfortable, the flat screen TV with the WIFI was very nice to have for entertainment. The breakfast was nice but exactly the same every day no new or different dishes were served. The front desk staff was very helpful with requests for anything. The cleaning staff were helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay, guest room was clean. Pool area and hot tub were very clean and very well kept. Tons of great breakfast options and the staff was very friendly! The only slight drawback is that in my room, the bathroom's spout dripped. I just closed the door so I didn't have to listen to it as I'm a light sleeper.

I go to a BW whenever I can ( Have been a member of their club for years) This particular BW I was thrilled with and wish I had booked more nights here. My husband and I wanted a BW closer to the airport than we had been staying with friends ( 1 1/2 hours north) Next time we visit we will want to stay there for a longer duration. Our room had a huge jacuzzi tub which I hadn't realized when I booked and it had a great pool as well as a hot tub ( which I was sorry I hadn't had time to take advantage of. ) Rooms are spacious and my husband and I fell in LOVE with the pillows and we are both pillow snobs !! :) Everything was absolutely perfect and the price just couldn't be beat !! :)

Friendly reception by Christi, who assigned an upstairs room with queen size bed as requested. The room was clean with dresser, table with two chairs, a comfy chair and closet, fridge with freezer shelf and a microwave. The furniture was in good shape. Bathroom clean and spacious with nice thick towels. The A/C runs loud and keeps you from sleeping. Traffic noise from the interstate carries over. The carpet in hallways and stairs was very stained and needs a good steam cleaning. The breakfast was "ok", including egg products and meat products (microwaved, not grilled), bacon, cereal, breads, bagels, cereal, juice and good coffee. The motel is in a good location to visit Albany, Saratoga, Troy or Schenectady. Shopping center and grocery store are nearby.

My husband and I were on a trip to my sister-in-law's wedding I found the place to be very clean organized the staff to be very polite and even got us into our Room early dealing downfall to this hotel is it does not have an elevator but does OK we did not need one The hot tub was huge loved it can't see anything negative the mattress was a little bit too firm for my liking because I have back problems other than that no problems

Hotel price was excellent. $75/night for king size room. It was clean and quiet and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Good location to restaurants and grocery store. Easy on and off the highway. Plan to stay here again!

Check in and out of the hotel were simple credit card and drivers license. The hotel is located in a area that is convenient for shopping. Also, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. If you want to drive to Albany route 9 and interstate 87 are close to the hotel.

First thing is first, the staff here is friendly and will try to accommodate you with your needs. Now on to the rooms. They're clean and spacious with a little balcony to walk out onto. There is no safe deposit box but has a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom however needs some updating. The shower faucet is wiggly and has a hole in the face of the knob and the shower head has major dripping issues and it takes a little effort to close the bathroom door. Other then that everything else was great. The hotel is close to hwy 87 and is located right behind IHOP. There's a small shopping center with a pizza place and a laundromat. This hotel doesn't have a guest laundry rooms and no elevators but it's only two floors. The complimentary breakfast was excellent (pancakes, donuts, bagels, bread to toast, cereal, yogurts, eggs, bacon, sausage and milk, orange juice, coffee, hot water for tea and water). Parking is free, WiFi is free and there's a indoor pool. In the end we will definitely stay here if in New York again.

After our bicycling trip, we checked-in this Best Western at Clifton Park, late evening. We had the room at the ground floor, with a jacozzi. we stayed for 2 nights. The room was very nice and very clean, the a/c quiet, king sized bed was very comfortable and slept very well in comfort, we enjoyed the amenities in this room the Wi-Fi was very fast and free! The indoor pool is very nice and clean, enjoyed the early evening swims! The breakfast is nice with good coffee, juice, eggs and bacon, sausages, bagels too! The location is very good, near the restaurants and stores! It is not far from the major highway. The parking is very convenient, front of our room! The front reception personnels were very helpful and courteous, checkout was fast! We will use this hotel on our next trip to this area. Thanks!

Good service great breakfast- wonderful housekeeping staff Mike, Tom and Peggy are the reason we come back year after year - I wish Peggy was there on Tuesday- we check in late on Sunday and miss seeing her during the week.

We spent one night at this Best Western. The location was perfect, just minutes from the Saratoga Race track. The price was better than the hotels closer to the race track. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, included a refrigerator and microwave, the bathroom was good size with an amazing shower head. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, pancakes, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs. The attendant was also very friendly. I would recommend this Best Western!

The location of this hotel is great. It's right off of the main highways and near multiple strip malls, pizza places and fast food restaurants. It is close enough to Saratoga Springs that is a nice stop on the way to it or on the way to other nearby destinations. This place is clean, so if you are looking for a place that meets standards, it is OK. I have to say everyone was nice, super-helpful and it was not personal, but my only real complaint is around visual appeal and maintenance. The room was a nice size, but the visual appeal acceptable, not great. Some attention to details such as whether all the lighting worked would have made this stay better. The bathroom needs renovation. Wallpaper was peeling off a bit. I'm not sure why a hotel would go with wallpaper, but if so make sure it's not peeling or stained. A check of the faucets is a good idea. The shower faucet was not secure in the wall. Maybe we had a bad room? I would also say that the breakfast was acceptable, but the dining area was just small and chairs weren't comfortable and there were varying degrees of attention to the overall quality of food or meal. The one person was trying so hard, but honestly she could have used a helper.

The staff in this hotel are wonderful!!! Very nice and willing to go the extra mile for a request. The room was clean when I arrived at the hotel. However, the furniture and overall condition of the room was fair - lights in the bathroom were not operational, wallpaper is peeling, and water stains are also evident in the bathroom. The breakfast space in this hotel is also quite small - get there early on busy days to get a seat. In general, this hotel needs a facelift desperately - especially when you consider the price of a room there for one night.

A good clean hotel. Our request for a King bed, high floor, non-smoking and no pets was met. Nice pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice of items such as yoghurt, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, pancakes, cereal, juice and coffee. However, the “hot” items , eggs, bacon and sausage were lukewarm and not very appetizing, even though we were in the breakfast room at about 6:15 am. Lots of restaurants close by.

Spent one night here with my friend. Upon our trip up to Clifton Park, my friend took a tumble when we stopped to get somethng to eat at a diner. We arrived at the hotel around 12:50pm which I knew was early for check-in but we wanted to see if we could especially since my friend fell. Kristie was working the front desk and I can not say more than enough about how professional and helpful she was. Kristie was multi-tasking and was amazing to see how hard she was working. She ran and got a bag of ice for my friend as her lip was blowing up, while taking care of checking in another guest and speaking to the maid to try to get us a room asap. Kristie was able to get us the room which we so much appreciated and thanked her for. She is truly an asset to Best Western. We truly enjoyed our stayand would stay again. THANK YOU KRISTIE!!! The hotel is in a very good location, close to the main road and IHop is rght in front of the hotel and other options down the road.

First the good things about this hotel is there is plenty of parking, rooms are clean, there are lots of restaurants in the area and it is close to I87. When we stayed June 21-23 2019 the pool was closed for filter parts so you may want to call before booking a stay if you plan on using the pool. The bad part was we booked a paid night and the other using a free nights stay cert. It was two separate reservations so the next morning at 9:00am we had to check out and re-check in. The problem was no one told house keeping so when we returned to our room all our drinks and snacks in the refrigerator were gone and so was our personal care items. The front desk told us they were sorry and offered to replace the items such as shaver and shaving cream, I was leaving the next day so opted out. I gave two stars because this should have never happened.

Dinner at Delmonico's, movies at Clifton Country Mall, a quiet, peaceful night with an indoor pool, hot tub and whirlpool in the suite. Breakfast just across the parking lot at IHOP. Recommended if you are ever in the area...

We were pleased to find this place which was a bargain, and a good place to spend the night. The rooms were clean, the staff was excellent, there was a nice pool, and the breakfast was OK. Tip: if you get there early enough and ask for a room on the parking lot side of the hotel. I suspect the rooms on the highway side of the hotel are a bit noisier. We were able to stay on the parking lot side and got a good quiet nights rest.

It is always an enjoyable and pleasant stay at this Best Western. My wife and I like to get away for the night every now and then and we always go to this location. Staff is courteous and go out of thier way. Hotel is always impeccable. Our stay is always enjoyable.

The pool area is the best we have found around the area. Hot tub, big pool and a smaller kid pool attached. Its tropical feeling and always so clean! Great price, staff is always friendly, close to major highway and shopping, 24/7 gas station and restaurants in walking distance.

The Best Western in Clifton Park,NY is a great place to say at .It has all the comforts of home.We love the pool & hot tub .There continental breakfast is the best we have ever experienced.So many selections to pick from. The people who run the place & there work crew are fabulous.Couldn't ask for a better place to stay & there rates are great.Especially love their escape package that they offer from January till the end of May.

I had to stay here due to problems at our normal hotel we stay at when in the area for work. The toilet continued to run taking for the tank to refill forever. I got up early and planned to enjoy some coffee in my room and went to make coffee and found french fries in the water port of the coffee maker! Overall staff were friendly and they were great to quickly accommodate needing to book several rooms due to the other hotel not being able to have customers but definitely wonder when the last time a thorough cleaning was done.

Quick drive from exit 9 from Northway, Route 87 to hotel. Easy drive into Albany for concerts, for Saratoga Raceway or Six Flags. Heated pool and hot tub. Surprised our King Room on first floor had a super-sized whirlpool tub in our room. Nice buffet breakfast, free parking. Plenty of restaurants chain and local restaurants close by. Refrigerator and microwave in room, coffre, tea, cocoa in lobby. Older property, but clean, with great staff.

I stayed here for work so I was by myself. The room is a nice size and mostly clean (it needs to be dusted but other then that it was clean). The building is 2 floors with stairs to get to get to the 2nd level, if you cannot go up stairs be sure to request a ground level. There is an indoor pool area that is very nice. There is a nice size fridge and a microwave in the room. There is a small balcony on the room but you cannot go out on it. There is a ton of places in the area to eat, a cvs and walgreen's near by and a Dunkin Donuts almost across the street. They offer hot coffee and hot water for tea at all times. Breakfast is also included and opens at 6am.

This hotel is tucked away beside the I-87 Southbound exit ramp at the edge of a shopping center behind an I-Hop so we missed it on our first pass.We stayed one night here for a shopping trip and had the king bed suite which included a roomy whirlpool tub in the bathroom. In addition we enjoyed a full hot breakfast and a wonderful pool with hot tub. The pool was the deepest I've seen in a hotel - 6-8 feet. Maybe not the greatest for kids - there's a small 3' area but great for swimming. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the rope in the pool but it was fixed quickly while we enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast room was bright and there were plenty of hot and cold selections - not to mention decent coffee! The price was excellent for the amenities offered so we highly recommend this BW.

Breakfast Attendant was awesome! Front Desk and Housekeeping were professional and friendly. The Maintenance Guy takes pride in his work and it shows! Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is easy to find and plenty of parking. But it is the staff that make this place great!

My Wife and i like the pool and the big rooms its always clean. The staff is great. We stay at the Best Western about 15 times a year. We have always enjoyed it. Nice to get out of dodge go to a place were you like to do business.

Everything is great value for your dollar. We were there with 3 granddaughters 14-9, they had a ball. Pool is great, breakfast is great. Employees were always there at our disposal and very helpful. All in all great experience.

Twice when we have wanted to take our sweet time driving from the Jersey shore to Burlington VT, we made this hotel our halfway stop. Clean, convenient, and inexpensive, it has an iHOP and Outback right next door and a few more restaurants three blocks away. Free breakfast was great (omelets, bagels, yogurt, pancake maker) plus a small pool and two hot tubs open til 10PM. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good shower heat, pressure, and height!

Best Western is located next to a mall with name brand eating places near by. They are within walking or a very short driving distance. You are also next to Rt 87 for fast north and south in the state.

We were happy to find that our room in the Clifton Inn was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The staff was helpful. The breakfast options were good, and the buffet area kept well supplied and very clean. The Best Western Clifton Park was a perfect place to stay en route to our destination in Massachusetts. Though we didn't have time to go in the water, the pool area was beautiful, with lounge chairs and a wall sized window to the outdoors.

Great hotel if you have kids or grandchildren who love to go swimming. A great indoor pool for the kids and hot tub for the adults. Great breakfast with amazing staff. We have stayed here several times

We booked here for one night, on our way to Lake Placid. This hotel right from the beginning gave me a “homey” feeling. The pool area looked so nice, wish we had time to take a swim! The front desk staff, Michael (i think) was very friendly. We stayed in a first floor room, near the lobby. The room was nice and very clean, with the exception of the tub mat (the underside had lots of black mold on it). Obviously we just didn't use the mat. Quiet hotel, would absolutely stay here again!

We chose Best Western because we wanted an economical over night stay before we headed to Saratoga Race Track. This hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the race track. The rooms were very clean and all the employees were extremely helpful. The front desk gave us excellent dining choices. The woman who ran the breakfast room was quick to make sure everything was refilled. Rooms were very clean. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel.

Great staff, accommodationswere perfect with easy access to rt 87. Only 15 minutes from Saratoga closer enough without the traffic. A good array of restaurants in the area without traveling out of the way.

The hotel keys did not work two separate times the first day, the A/C was so loud you couldnt sleep, there wasn't any water pressure in the shower, and the whole place smells terribly like cigarettes.

I booked this hotel as everything else in the area was pretty pricey. Walking into the lobby, you could tell this hotel had smoking rooms in it, as that very particular smell lingered (as well as in the side entrance door when you walked in). The pool area had some cool woodwork to it with a hot tub next to it. To our disappointment, the laundry that was "right next door" was actually a drive away, and there was no laundry room in the hotel. The room had a brown/pink/olive green color scheme. The air conditioner clearly hadn't been replaced in the last 15 years and gave off a funny smell. The room could have been vacuumed better, as there were some crumbs of sorts on the floor on the walk to the AC unit. The only thing that was new in the room was the TV. The worst thing, and not even a change in rooms would help this was the beds. The sheets were the furthest thing from soft. The beds were not firm or soft and just uncomfortable. I will say that the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was decent (with freshly baked doughnuts?!?!!?!?!). The breakfast attendant was really on her game. Switching rooms wouldn't have improved the negatives. This hotel needs a massive overhaul, or at least needs to start with new towels and sheets.

The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, helpful staff, and great breakfast. Pool isn't made for little kids although still great place to stay. The front desk was extremely helpful. They greet you with a smile when you come into the hotel, they were very welcoming.

We decided to take a spontaneous trip up, it's racing season, all of the in town Saratoga Springs hotels were all booked. We decided to stay out of town and we are sure glad we did. Stayed at this hotel many times over the years. A little drive to get to Saratoga Thoroughbred Race Course but 20 minutes is doable especially with the highway so close. The hotel now has more competition close by as well so I'm anxious to see what will happen. Rooms were nice and quiet, sleep was good.

stayed one night for work, what a great discovery, the place is very clean and very cozy. the staff was top notch, both check in and check out. the sliding glass doors leading to the outside, with a small concrete pad made you feel you were home and standing on your back porch, love that feature. all in all a great experience. before leaving I booked for the next week, Thanks B W !! This little hotel tucked back behind the IHOP is clean, well maintained, and well managed with a friendly and helpful staff. Having lived most of my life in that area I'm sad to say that I sort of tuned it out of mind when travelling back there for work for during the last 5 years. I've stayed at several of the newer hotels in the immediate area and would definitely choose this hotel over them in the future. I will quantify that by saying I'm a solo traveler with family in the area so I didn't avail myself of breakfast so I can't speak to that although I did enjoy the pool. For holiday travelers I will caution that there isn't an elevator but they do maintain a reserve of rooms on the first floor for handicapped access. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the location offered me access to everything the more expensive hotels in the same vicinity did at a much better price.

An olderr hotel but nice and clean and well maintained . Comfortable beds great pool with hot tub. The location was very centralized to area attractions, shopping, dining, horse racing and historical sites. No elevators is its only drawback

Wonderful staff, comfy beds/pillows, everything very clean, including the pool and hot tub. Pool very well-designed (no overlooking guest rooms, plants inside, trees outside, real wood paneling) and no chlorine odor. Very good breakfast selection (but not so good if you're a vegetarian or you do not eat pork). Would be even better if some of the disposables at breakfast could be recycled. Nice perk: choice of teas (and coffee) available 24 hrs. Smaller, quieter Best Western, easy location just off the Northway. Pool open reasonably late and early, yeah!

We were a group of 56. We stayed there for 2 nights. The place was clean. The rooms were spacious and the staff were excellent. Could not ask for better. The entire group was happy with this hotel and we would definitely go there again next year.

Hot tub, breakfast, pool and in room jacuzzi really made the trip. The location was really convenient as there were all sorts of restaurants and shopping all around the hotel. The hot tub and in room jacuzzi was a great way to relax at the end of the day or middle of afternoon.

All the employees were friendly and helpful, bed and pillows comfy and clean, breakfast was ample and offered lots of good options (well, much less choice for vegetarians or those who don't eat pork). Pool and hot tub are fantastic! Clean, well-maintained, in a lovely atrium with wood, plants and windows that frame nature views (lots of morning sun) - and warm enough to not be a 'shock'! Plus, they use such a minimal amount of chlorine (monitored daily+) that there's no odor! Super-convenient location too. Will be back.

i like this hotel. its very clean and comfortable. all employees go above and beyond to make people feel relaxed. i have never had any issues here. i stay here often for my job and always feel at home here. very basic hotel, but its all good.

Over-all good stay , enjoyed the pool, great breakfast, maid service was very good; problem with the one of the rooms that was suppose to be non-smoking, got a new room ; unfortunately it wasn't close to our second room; great location to the interstate 87

The first impression was exactly like the photos, and the entrance is beautifully staged as you come to the front desk. We were given our keys, and the staff was polite and accommodating. We came back after our holiday dinner, and finally went to our room, where we found short, curly hair on one of the beds, under the pillows and blanket. The staff moved us from our initial room, to one on the second floor. This is when we discovered the property had no elevator. Our second room was plain but functional, and the bed was hair free, so we settled in to go to the pool. The 3 foot section is tiny, and the pool drops off to 6 feet just beyond the rope. Not really a family swimming experience, if you have younger kids. As it was Thanksgiving night, we looked for vending for snacks, but could not find one and the desk staff was not present. Breakfast the next morning was good, but when we went to check out we were ignored by the staff at the desk - simply handed our receipt and she walked away. If you are traveling for business or just stopping for sleep, it is awesome. A value for the cost of the room, but we will likely not stay again.

My wife booked a night here as a treat for the kids. Check in was quick and easy, the rooms were spacious and clean. Everything appeared to be well taken care of. The pool area was gorgeous and well kept. The next day we went to the breakfast and were more impressed, bacon, sausage, eggs and all sorts of other goodies. We will definitely stay here again, the price and quality were on point.

After driving for a few hours after leaving Canada, we needed a place to rest. We came across best Western and I was very pleased with the hotel. Our room was clean and cozy. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. Wish we had time to enjoy the pool, but maybe another time. The breakfast was great! They have options for all eating styles. This is a very nice and clean motel. Friendly services and a good breakfast. The room was spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. Some faint highway noise, but not a disturbing sound. The breakfast had a variety of selections with a friendly attendant.

I enjoy coming to Best Western of Clifton Park, NY for the friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with fridges and microwaves. Some with a whirlpool in the rooms. Great Wifi. Parking is convenient and sometimes you can park next to your room. Convenient to shops, attractions and restaurants nearby and next door. Indoor pool and whirlpool. Changing room there as well. Not sure if it's handicapped accessible. I don't think there's an elevator there.

Second time at this hotel in the last 10 months, comfortable stays, clean rooms, good breakfast, customer friendly staff, overall a pleasant experience each time; second time, thou, the bed seemed to have an air mattress, making a rather annoying rubbery noise at each turn during the sleep, it should be addressed.

Staff do everything possible to make your stay pleasant. The Breakfast Room Lady is a sweetheart and she'll remember you even if your visit was a year ago! Although we don't go for the nearby racetracks, you certainly meet interesting people while staying there.

Hotel was a little expensive. Location is great and rooms were clean. Indoor pool was way too cold for being an "indoor pool". Couldn't stay in the water for more than 5 minutes. Free breakfast is nice with eggs, pancakes, etc... Complimentary coffee is only offered at certain times....not all night/day. Overall an "average" stay but not for the price paid.

A very good experience, extremely helpful staff, only complaint is there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, so if you have trouble with stairs you need to request 1st floor. Great variety for breakfast.

The staff make this hotel. Very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is also nice. Clean rooms, free breakfast, well maintained location. We stayed here for the Saratoga Race Track August 2017 meet. Hotel is about 15 minutes south of the track. Very convenient location!

Used this hotel for our treks to Saratoga Race Course. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is adequate. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Only complaint: rooms in the back get all the noise from the highway traffic which is right in back of this property. Perhaps they should have a sound barrier wall built back there.

We went to a concert that night and didn't want the 3 hour drive home at midnight. We stayed at the Best Western in Clifton Park. Everyone was friendly and made sure that our every need was met. The only issue we encountered was that our safety chain lock was broken. We came in so late that we didn't call down to the desk but informed the clerk at the desk in the mourning at check out.

It was great area. Walking distance to mall. Breakfast was compact but good enough. Pancake machine was great. And helped a lot with sending fax for free also printing was free too . Def. coming back

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It's convenient, close to shopping, restaurants, major highway, Albany and Saratoga Springs. There is complementary breakfast and an indoor swimming pool. Rooms are clean and well supplied. The biggest problem here is the front desk staff. There have been errors with room assignment and the evening desk attendant is unfriendly, disorganized, and unwelcoming. She has checked me in almost every time. At my latest visit I was assigned a room in which other guests were in residence. I had to wait quite a long time while this desk attendant checked things out and then I had to wait even longer listening to her repeatedly say, "I just don't know how this happened. I don't understand. I just don't know." These were repeated over and over for about 10 minutes while I waited for her to figure things out. Then the room I was finally given had an odor and the phone did not work. The breakfast room attendant is, however, excellent.

This BW is clean, comfortable, and very inviting with a location right off the interstate. Breakfast was hostessed by a very nice Peggy who welcomed everyone pleasantly. The grounds are nicely kept and there is a swimming pool with spa for the kids to enjoy.

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff is ALWAYS very welcoming. This hotel is located very close to a major state highway, but even for someone coming from a rural area can tolerate the road noise heard from the traffic nearby. During this most recent stay, what impressed me the most was the friendliness of each and every hotel employee and their quickness to express either a "Hello" or a "Have a good day." I will definitely return to this Best Western, again and again.

We stayed one night to attend a wedding in the area. The room was clean and adequate. The sheets were a little rough for our liking. We were on the first floor and it was very noisy. Someone's car alarm was sounding outside of our room and someone was reving there engine outside our room at about 5am. We did not have the included breakfast, but it looked like the usual fare...pancakes, eggs, fruits, yogurt. The coffee was good!The location was good for our needs and with the cleanliness of the room I would probably stay here again as long as we could have a room on the 2nd floor.

Good place to stay while we visit with our children. My wife is a smoker and they have nice smoking rooms. Good location next to Northway and mall. Good value for close proximity to Saratoga. The breakfast lady was very friendly.

I have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years and this was my first visit to Clifton Park. This was one of the cleanest, friendliest hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms are well maintained, the pool was great, the location is convenient to shopping, dining, movies. The staff are welcoming, always smiling, always attentive to your needs. I cannot tell you how impressed my wife and I were with this property and its staff! We were amazed to learn the age of this hotel, we thought it was a newer property because of how well it maintained.

We asked permission for our group (14U Softball team) to grill in the back parking lot. The front desk granted permission, but later in the evening the State Police and local Sheriff arrived and told us the front desk reported we were causing a disturbance. Only 1 time did someone come out to speak to us and that was because the girls were using a volleyball near vehicles. Actually, multiple guests who we did not know stopped by to talk to us and express what we were doing was "Great" for the girls!!

This hotel is a good deal for the price. The room was clean and large. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and had a good variety. I didn't use the pool area, but it looked nice. The only suggestion I would make is putting an area guide with attractions and area restaurants in the rooms. Negatives were the smell of smoke in the upstairs hallway which is where my room was, but this could not be smelled in the room. The room was facing the Interstate and I could hear traffic as it passed. House keeping when cleaning the room did a good job, but did fail to replace one set of towels and wash clothes. Over all experience was good, and I would stay here again.

Great value for location and amenities-- microwave, refrigerator with a freezer, breakfast, free wifi large flat screen tv with pay stations. There's so much in the area as far as restaurants, shopping and attractions

The Hotel is right off I-87 and Near Restaurants and Shops. Check in was easy, room was clean. Bed was comfortable and bathroom in Good Shape, shower worked great. \\Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, and ham. Pan Cakes and other cereal Items were available. Would stay here again when in the area..

This Best Western in Clifton Park, NY was a great value. I came for a local wedding looking for a reasonably priced place. The motel is clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff is courteous. Breakfast was great! I would definitely stay here again !

First off, I have to say Mitchell the manager and the front desk staff was outstanding, going above and beyond to make sure we had all our necessities met and very accommodating to my family. I generally, do not stay at Best Western, however I won a hotel stay at a silent auction and since it was my daughter's 11th birthday, I decided to book 2 rooms and have a sleepover with her friends. The continental breakfast was great and there were so many options to choose from including pastries and variety of other hot and cold items. Thank you Karen for your great hospitality, you are awesome and you made feel like I was at home. Overall great place to stay for location, price and phenomenal service. Thanks Best Western

We generally do not stay at Best Western. However, it was all that was available for our schedule and were we pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and comfortable. We don't generally sleep well when we travel but we did at BW Clifton Park.

A great place to stay. The rooms are clean and each one has a balcony or patio. They serve a great breakfast that includes a variety of pastries, freshly made pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and/or sausage, juices, milk coffee or tea. A great morning breakfast to start the day. The heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub make for a great way to relax and get some exercise. The staff is friendly and hospitable and eager to please. Great location near shopping and restaurants.

Perfectly good hotel. Not your typical 2.5 star rated hotel. Good location for local concert, decent breakfast, staff was good and overall the stay was a success. Only negative was our backdoor opened up to the highway but that really only affects some of the rooms.

We didn't have reservations upon arriving to the hotel. They were very accommodating. We had a very clean and bright room. The staff gave us a discount for AARP which was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was great and filling. We would definitely go back to a Best Western after our first experience.

Every employee was pleasant and always a smile. The kitchen attendant was very nice and always greeted you with Good Morning and when you left made sure she said "Have a nice day". The room was very nice and comfortable and the breakfast food items was nicely presented and very good.

Needed a decent hotel to stay while visiting family. Most of the hotels in the area are extremely overpriced. Best Western is comfortable and decently priced. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location of cleanliness is a top priority!

Everything was good until my children wanted to swim it was a a reason why they couldn't swim and people would leave them we where told we couldn't swim I'm just a mom that wanted to take her children to swim that's all

Located just off I87 in a nice area with a vast amount of restaurants nearby. Walking in the staff were very friendly and attentive. Check in was a breeze without any hiccups or issues. The room was very nice and clean. The Bathroom was updated and clean but my one complaint would have to be that I wish the shower had more pressure. The pool and hottub was clean and at the perfect temperature, and plenty of towels were in the pool room to dry of with. The free continental breakfast that's offered is one of the best we've ever had, I'll give it a A+++. Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, fresh pasteries/doughnuts, yogurt, bagel/bread, 3 different juices, coffee, milk, cereals ect...... book a room, you won't be disappointed.

The hotel was a very enjoyable experience for me and my daughters friends. The pool had an excellent size and disposition toward us. The staff made sure we were good with everything and the room television was great.

We were stopping to visit family members. Our stay was enjoyable at the Best Western. We were heading South and continued to look for Best Westerns along the way. One suggestion - it would be nice to have a restaurant/bar on the premises.

Beautiful with a great breakfast that even my picky children enjoyed. Nice pool and hot tub for the children to wear themselves out. Staff was quick at helping out whenever it was needed. Cleaning staff was on top of everything.

This is the second time I've stayed at BW when there were no bedspreads on the bed. Just sheets. The heater was broken and would not shut off. It became so hot at night we could not breathe and had to get up and open the sliding door. The breakfast danish was stale, eggs were cold, bacon was like rubber and not edible.

This is a solid property for those people looking for a clean hotel, with a great staff near everything in Clifton Park at a decent price. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were good size for the two of us. Breakfast was more than adequate and very good. Staff was attentive and very courteous. We love this hotel for a little getaway. The only down side is the bed isn't the most comfortable but other than that it is a great hotel. The pool area is romantic and you can sit in there hot tub and enjoy each other's company

I enjoyed a relaxing stay. The hotel room was clean which is my #1 priority. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tub is amazing and they offer a real breakfast with bacon and eggs among other items.

We stayed for one night while in the area for an event. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Nice fridge, microwave and TV in the room. Wifi seemed a little slow. Not a lot of 'common space' to 'hang out' - just one couch at the front desk. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked - fresh pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon, in addition to the usual bagels, bread, muffins yogurt, cereal, etc. Lots of selection. Breakfast room was a bit cramped, so we took ours back to our room. Indoor pool and hot tub looked nice, although we didn't have the opportunity to use them. Its in a dense commercial area right off the highway so there were TONS of restaurant choices (The 99, Olive Garden, Delmonicos, Cracker Barrel to name a few) and lots of stores (Target nearby, etc). It was a good choice for what we needed.

This places is exceptionally clean and up to date. Nicest staff we have seen anywhere. Breakfast is hard to beat. We really could not find anything to complain about. Plus a balcony? Will stay again next time out.

We stopped at the Clifton Park Best Western on our way home from Vermont on a business trip. The hotel was very accommodating and very clean. The breakfast area was spotless with all fresh food. Although we didn't use it, the pool and hot tub looked very nice.

They can't do enough to make sure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. Peggy, who manages the free breakfast, is a gem and can remember you from one trip to the next, even after two years!! Her deafness is not a handicap to her sweet disposition.

For us, the Best Western Clifton Park, is, reasonable priced, convenient, and with an indoor pool and hot tub, a great place as a jumping off point for our vacations after a long first days drive. After breakfast in the morning we are ready to continue.

Wonderful pool and hot tub area. It is right near the highway but you don't hear a thing from the street. The breakfast lady was so nice that she even went out to the store and bought me some almond milk! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is right next to an IHOP. Great location and great hotel.

I stay here frequently for work, and this hotel is fantastic. Nearby places to eat, friendly staff, great housekeepers, and right off the interstate. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great, and the pool is good.

What a great time. The room was perfect and the pool was excellent. I would have the same arrangement at my home if I could have an indoor pool. We were on the same floor as the pool which helped with small children and made it easy. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast had something for everyone. My only complaint would be the bed was to soft but that could be because I prefer a very firm mattress. We were close to many food establishments. A great location for families with small children!

One night stay on a trip to Saratoga Race Track, only 12 miles to the track. Hotel is conveniently located next to a number of restaurants and a large supermarket. Front desk staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable, with a flat screen TV. The pool and whirlpool tub were nice; go later at night when almost no one is around. The breakfast area is a little cramped and was packed. Food selections (sausage, eggs, Canadian bacon, yogurt and cereal) were very good. If traveling this way again I would stay. One feedback comment on room location, we had a first floor room at the end of the hotel, so our WI-FI was “sketchy” at best. IF you need WI-FI, get a room closer to the front desk.

This is our 3rd time staying at the Best Western, Clifton Park when travelling to the races at Saratoga. The location is very convenient and there are plenty of good dining options in the area. The Best Western is clean and comfortable and a reasonable distance from the track.

This was my second stay at this Best Western. I stayed 5 nights. There wasn't anything bad I could say about this hotel. The staff were very friendly . The room was clean, no noise, clean pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast attendant Peggy was so nice. Overall it was a wonderful trip.

I was here for thre nights on a family visit. My room was downstairs with a sliding glass door. This may seem unsafe to someone else but didn't bother me. The room appeard clean and was spacious. There was a nice selection at the breakfast.

Have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times in the last 5 years to visit my daughter. This is the first time of extreme disappointment in the cleanliness of the room and the function of bathroom shower and toilet. They were barely unusable. The air condition is in serious need of update.

Loved the hotel. It was nice and clean. Stayed at the farthest room so could not get on the wifi. Also, grandson went to pool and although 8 feet deep in places, he was not allowed to jump in, as all kids love to do at a pool.

Location is horrible. Your view is either the highway or restaurants. The hallways smelt musty and people were drinking and smoking in their rooms, which made the hallways smell even worse. The bathtub was dirty and the toilet looked as though it was not cleaned for a year. The rooms are small. This hotel is only suitable for business people passing through or attending a convention.

Too high a price during the holiday for a room with a lopsided bed and backed up tub. I will look for another hotel the next time. Did not meet my expectations and I stayed here before. The room also has a very strong scent of room freshener and this is hard to breathe and bad for lungs.

This hotel is much cleaner inside than it would appear from the outside. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom linens were full and soft. There was a flat screen tv offered a large number of selections and also had listings on screen to help. This is the first hotel to have this feature in the four previous that I stayed. There can be traffic noise if your room is on the back side. All staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a variety of offerings and one the better ones.

Stayed here the last few years to attend Saratoga Jazz. You know a place is good when you keep going back, which we will again next year. The price was reasonable and service, creature comforts and breakfast were great.

We have stayed here multiple times for Saratoga concerts, and have never had a bad experience. Check-in was quick, the desk clerk was friendly. Our room was clean, didn't smell, quiet, even though it was on the back adjacent to I-87. The bed was comfy, indoor pool looked nice, we didn't take advantage of the free breakfast but it looked adequate. There is an IHOP and a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance, and several restaurants within a 1 minute drive. We will definitely be back.

We really appreciate our time at this hotel. It is clean and near of the highway. It is practical when you make a lot of millage. The breakfast is suffisant to make a good road trip with out lunch after a hour on the road.

My boyfriend & I chose to stay at this hotel for a 2 night stay over the weekend. We chose this hotel because of the proximity it was to the Schaghticoke Fair Grounds where the Rock'n Derby Festival was, which was AWESOME by the way. The hotel was only about 20 minutes away from the festival and very close to multiple stores and restaurants. The hotel was directly behind a IHOP so we definitely took advantage of that. Overall, the hotel was clean and they had free breakfast which was good and convenient. Only 1 thing i would of liked was for the pool to open earlier than 1 p.m., i'm sure the hotel has their reasons for this and i did not ask but i would of loved to take a swim early in the morning before the concert. Hotel was great, will be staying here every year now when we come to the Rock'n Derby Festival!

Excellent staff and clean rooms. Beware of smoking rooms as that was our only option...if your sensitive to smoke...try for a non-smoking room if possible...otherwise everything was excellent. Pool & Hot tub area was nice...Breakfast was good.

Good option of hotel if you wish to stay in the area. Pool and Jaquzzi very good, breakfast was included and was buffet style with plentiful options. Decor of hotel looked dated and location was "tucked away" but service etc was excellent.

Quiet, peaceful... friendly staff. Love the tub in room 120!! Nice location, so close to everything you need. I will always stay here when in town. I can back my truck up to the door, making it so much easier dealing with luggage. Only downfall is no elevator making it difficult when you travel with several bags.

It is thee best motel in the area. It is super clean with super nice people every where. I has one of the best breakfasts in the United States. It has a beautiful indoor pool. The area is surrounded by numerous places to eat of all types.. It is right off of the 87. It iis well worth your money to stay here.

Went out for dinner then came back and took a swim and went in hot tub, very clean. Towels, changing rooms. Great night away for a low price..ohh and full delious breakfast in the morning! If I asked for a first floor accommodation and was given a second floor room in most of the chain locations I've used in the past, there was an elevator. IN THIS CASE, AT THIS LOCATION THERE WAS NO ELEVATOR. Be sure to ask!

This hotel was not bad. It's a bit out dated and looks a little run down but over all it was clean and not bad. I think the price is a little high for what it is. Pool was nice and hot tub wasn't bad could've been a little hotter. Close to food and shopping if you need anything. Right off the highway...

We like staying here when we visit family nearby. It saves a lot of stress on them and on us. Plus, it is right across from our granddaughter's restaurant hostessing job and close to Price-Chopper. My husband was ailing this time, and it was good for him to be able to rest without interruption.

I stay here often, the employees are always very nice, the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's in a very nice and safe neighborhood, the wi-fi works well, and the complimentary breakfast is pretty good. Hot and cold items, BACON every day lol. I keep coming back for a lot of different reasons, I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel fits the bill for a quick trip, but if you're looking for a longer stay I'd try elsewhere. The room itself was nice. Clean, tidy, the bed was comfortable for a hotel bed. The bathroom needed updates. The whirlpool tub I was almost afraid to use, but it worked fine. The outside of the hotel was the worst. We drove past 3 times looking for it and when we did, we were tempted to leave. There is no signs on the outside of the building saying what it is, the building is dark and almost scary, the parking lot and landscaping are neglected, etc. I'm glad the inside was nicer!

IT was a nice place, in need of some updating. The price was bit more than I typically pay, but was a clean hotel with a small indoor pool and hot tub. It appears they are building a new facility next door to update. Bed was a bit hard for my liking.

The Motel was very clean. The room and bathroom was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The entrance was clean. The parking lot was picked up. The Motel is near an I-Hop and near a mini mall with Price Chopper as the anchor store. It is located near a larger Mall with a theater and many store and restaurants that are located across Rt 146.

Good value for the price. Hotel is older but well maintained. Staff excellent. Stay on the side of hotel away from freeway. No elevators to second level. Lots of easy parking. Breakfast adequate and decent variety. Close to everything in the area. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

this best western is a port of calm in the storm of commercial properties along route 146. tucked away on a side road, it is a quiet respite from the drag of the main drag. some rooms have balconies, and others have whirlpool tubs. each is tastefully decorated, well appointed, and spotless. there is a kidney shaped indoor pool and communal whirlpool, plus computers for guest use. the breakfast room is pleasant, although the television is constantly on at an unpleasantly high volume. the morning would start more agreeably if the tv were gone. the array of food is wide and tasty. the staff is extremely courteous. this is a great deal, as well. an affordable oasis.

This was a great find. Last few times we stayed in Albany, we chose our hotels in Latham area which were all dumps. This place looked really plain from the outside, but brand new on the inside. They must have recently undergone a renovation as everything was spotless. The pool made me wish I'd brought a swim suit. Breakfast was much better than most hotels in this price range. We paid 87 dollars inclusive of tax and breakfast thru booking.com, and found this to be a great value for what we got. A Thursday night, very quiet, great front desk service, etc.... Huge flast screen TV in room 123 which we stayed in. Highly recc this hotel, and will definintely be back!!

Always the same friendly service at check-in and check out. Clean room with necessary amenities to enjoy 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast room offers good healthy choices with friendly attendant, who remembers you.

Low cost in area drives contractors and low cost tourists to this bottom level motel. If you know Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn, for example, this BW will give you the creeps. Contractor trucks and vans tell you the clientele. Auto trailers and trailer trucks often park on property. Lighting is dim, rooms are outdated, and front desk personnel are not always friendly or helpful. My Diamond status is ignored. Breakfast is awful (although the staff member here is a star!). One time I had a room that leaked water after a storm - wet carpet covered by room furniture rather than closing and cleaning the room. Look... people looking for the best rate in the area stay here, and these people who otherwise would seek Super 8 or Red Roof Inn think this BW is the Ritz Carlton.

The rates for this hotel are very reasonable. I thought it might be a "sleep cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was smooth and the desk clerk was competent and pleasant. The common areas were clean and tastefully decorated. I took my bathing suit so I could use the pool but ended up not doing so. This because there was only a glass wall separating the pool area from the common area and I didn't want to be seen in my suit. The room was immaculately clean. I only stayed one night for pleasure but the room would be suitable for a business stay as well, as there was a desk with good lighting. The room also offered a refrigerator, microwave and comfortable chair with ottoman. The bed was very fresh and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection including eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. The area was kept supplied and clean by a very pleasant woman employee. It should be noted that the hotel had 2 floors with no elevator that I could see. That wasn't an issue for me but if you have trouble climbing stairs you may want to request a first floor room.

Because our pipes froze in our house, we decided to go to this motel near us for the weekend, so the children could go in the pool and we could just have a break from the freezing weather. We often to this in the winter. Our reservations were wrong. We reserved two rooms, a Queen with Jacuzzi, and a King smoking room. They were backwards and we could not change them. It was a nice overall experience, except for not having bedspreads on the bed. At check in, there were only sheets on both beds. On inquiry, I was brought one rumpled bed spread that I had to put on myself. Also, the breakfast was poor quality. The eggs were cold and watery, the bacon like rubber, the donuts and bagels very stale and there was no batter for the pancake machine. The desk staff were very helpful and very courteous. The pool and the Jacuzzi were very clean and warm. I've been coming to this BW for over 15 years. The atmosphere was very nice and very quiet. Internet service is great. The lobby is nice and has coffee and tea. Housekeeping is falling short on this one.

The Best Western Hotel in Clifton Park, NY is a good place to stay when visiting near Saratoga Springs and surrounding area. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The price is reasonable.

Quiet rooms, always clean, and very comfortable beds. The Hotel crew are always courteous and very helpful. I have stayed here many times and have never had more than a minor problem, which was always corrected immediately.

Great staff, breakfast is really good, price is right, clean, friendly, what else could you ask for? C;ifton Park is convenient to restaurants and shopping, walking is limited, but you can get some walking in at a close strip mall.

We have used Best Western for our honeymoon and for all our trips South to Florida when we visit family. My mom passed away on Dec. 30th and we just needed a break out of the house to relax over night. It was a welcome break, staff, service and rooms were all excellent. I am a loyal fan of Best Western and highly recommend this hotel.

I'll stay again, good breakfast ! Helpful staff. The pool was beautiful, but I didn't use it ! This is an older hotel, but it is kept in fine condition. It the price is right I'll stay there again ! If you don't like my free review, throw it out and I'll stay elsewhere the next time I'm in town !

This is a nice, reasonably priced hotel with a great pool and good breakfast. The rooms are clean and the staff is very good. It is a good stopping point near Albany. There are restaurants and a mall nearby, which is convenient.

Quite, comfortable, clean , and fairly priced hotel in Clifton park. The pool is great . We stop here often when in the area to visit our son and granddaughter. Many amenities close by. Employees polite and helpful.

The place is outdated inside and out. The sheets/towels were very rough and did not smell freshly laundered and the cleanliness of the place leaves a bit to be desired. Couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning. I will say the hotel was fairly quiet for it being peak season and that the front desk was efficient.

Everything was lovely. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. All the conveniences I needed were available. I have stayed at many Best Westerns, and this was one of the nicest. My only regret is that I didn't have time to take advantage of the beautiful pool and hot tub.

We stayed at Best Western while visiting family in Clifton Park, N.Y. our overall stay was pleasant. The room for comfortable, the staff was pleasant, and the amenities were great. I would not hesitate to stay here again

Easy check in. Simple breakfast. Quiet even though we were on the first floor and facing front. No complaints. We were there for a high school regatta and the hotel was full but you would never have known. The staff was lovely.

We seldom stay at Best Western but are very glad we did. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. The pool area is extremely nice, although the water was a bit chilly. Breakfast had lots of variety.

Only stayed one night but no complaints !! Used trip advisor to make this selection and all was true. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was spotless. The room and bathroom were clean as was the breakfast area.Can not comment on the a/c heater unit as we opened the sliding glass door for ventilation.

This hotel has all the necessary amenities included including in rm. refrig and microwave, breakfast and indoor pool. Rooms and public areas are clean but not up to date decor and there is no elevator to 2nd floor. Staff is polite, friendly and helpful. We stray there because it is near Saratoga Springs and the price is is reasonable.

Very nice hotel. Stopped here for one night. Clean room, 24 hour coffee and nice greeting from the desk clerks. Room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare with the addition of a pancake machine and donuts. The lady in charge of breakfast was extremely efficient. Would stay here again.

Our granddaughter lives near here and loves to swim. I've stayed here before and knew they have a nice pool and hot tub. for a quick visit with the family this was perfect and everyone had a blast. Comfortable beds, quiet room and plenty of restaurants close by. Will be back. Staff was very friendly ,also.

Need more comfortable bed and handicap access to second floor. Bathroom needs updating -- things patched. Convenient location. One of the dowdiest Best Western sites I've seen, but nice indoor pool area.

Nice place, helpful staff. Need a place to rest and relax and not break the bank this is a good deal for the area. The breakfast is breakfast, not much to say other than that. It was ok, but the breakfast area is cramped. All in all nice stay and a good nights sleep.

Definitely the cheaper choice in the area but that doesn't mean lower quality. We didn't have any issues at all. Several choices for food in the area. Only a short drive to the upstate concert hall. We would stay here again. Breakfast was decent.

This was not our first stay at this Best Western facility. Our first stay was approximately a year ago, and we were satisfied that we got a good deal for our dollars. This trip here we actually had the opportunity to stay at a facility that was closer to our destination but we decided to return here because of the amenities (particularly the hot tub and indoor pool) and because of the good experience we had the last time. We were again pleased. The price is good, the facility and the staff are very good, and the pool and hot tub are invaluable after a long ride.

I stay in this hotel twice a week, off and on for about 3 years now, over 100 nights a week. On the rare occasion that I have a problem (always a minor one), the staff bend over backwards to make it right. Honestly, I could say that I have never had a problem. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable, good food within walking distance, and the staff is unmatched anywhere else.

This is a small motel with a pool and hot tub room. The rooms are very clean, the continental breakfast is very nice. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Great for families and couples as well. Nice little get away and the pricing is wonderful.

There is nothing we could say negative about this stay! From the office staff to the breakfast staff and the room staff, they were all so helpful and kind. We would have liked this hotel the entire trip! Beds were great, as were the pillows. Pillows are very important to me as is the bed! We wholeheartedly endorse this hotel

Traveled with team to North Country of Ny state and found this overnight stay perfect for all. Arrived late and check in was fast and easy for all. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. A quick simple breakfast was had by all and we traveled on.
