Best Western Snowcap Lodge

Every staff member we met was friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone one. We made the reservation just in case we didn't make it all the way home from Leavenworth. Definitely worth the one hour drive away from the very expensive hotels in their area. Stopped to see the beer stein, warm cookies and a bomb breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.

We were caught in a snowstorm and got one of the last rooms at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating to us. Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom and towels, staff provided a few toiletries and breakfast was great. Thank you!

Room was clean, beds were comfortable with nice sheets. I was surprised at how quiet our room was with a youth basketball tournament in town. Found the breakfast to be delicious, with lots of choices. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Excellent location!

Everthing great, staff, room, free cookie and bottled water in room. I recommend to others. If it had a larger conference room, would book business meetings here. The pool are is also nice. There are some good restuarants in town to eat and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast,

Snowcap Lodge gave me the comfort I needed for this trip. I slept well and was able to get my work done to satisfaction as I needed to do. I credit the hotel staff and the excellent conditions at this location for that.

The overall stay was great! I really like the location. The rooms were VERY spacious and clean. Probably the biggest room I've stayed in with BW. The beds were very comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and friendly. It was a little pricey, but that obviously didn't stop me from booking. My only criticism was the breakfast area. They need smaller tables. The ones in there are too bulky for the small area. The layout just needs to be revamped. At 8:30 the hot food containers (eggs, potatoes, bacon and oatmeal) were empty, and they hadn't even started preparing more. The staff just needed to be a little more attentive to the food levels. They saved me from eating the potatoes that I probably didn't need. With all that said…I still love their breakfast. Overall, it was a great stay!

We stayed at the hotel as in the area for a wedding. Warmly greeted and checked in early by Lisa. Early check in much appreciated Allocated room 213 facing the back car park. Lovely room, with seating area and small kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Very comfy bed, excellent dual shower and rain fall shower attachment. Tried to use the pool but too cold as having water changed out. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, cereals, breads, hot buffet including really excellent sausage patties, good coffee and juices. We would definitely stay again. Only a very short drive from the quaint town of Roslyn, home of my favourite old TV show Northern Exposure. Shame Dr Fleischman wasn't a guest at the Snowcap.

My first thought was that the hotel was a little pricey, but soon after arriving I realized it was worth it. The cleanliness of our room was amazing. Continental breakfast had many options from fresh fruit to hot breakfast. They kept it stocked and tidy and staff were amazingly helpful. Any staff my family had interaction with were very friendly and engaging.

Nice location, good night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty good with a number of options suitable for a diabetic. Pool and hot tub were both cooler than advertised but still nice to soak in. Close to grocery and restaurants but still away from road noise.

I have stayed at this location more than 10x and never had a bad experience until this visit when I was accused of stealing 4 towels. I have never stolen anything in my life. I am a teacher and I have my own towels. I have traveled all over the world and never had such a bad experience or been treated so rudely by manager, Lisa. She then proceeded to charge my card for towels that I never took.

Best hotel I've been to in years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in cle elum. Amazing staff,very clean you won't be disappointed . Well worth every dollar. Very quite nice pool very clean area great place for family

The hotel was ok, but for the price we would not stay here again. Average on everything. Food ok, not great, pool ok but too cool for me, location is odd, tucked behind a strip mall. We expected better of a Best Western hotel.

Our room was wonderful! Beds were comfortable- everything was super clean. The Staff was super friendly. The only reasons I didn't give this a perfect score was the breakfast and there was no air conditioning in the fitness room.

It was reasonable and good choice we did. And we enjoyed staying over there, too. But I clearly remember I reserve the room rate at $150 night plus tax for 2 rooms. But turn it out different $ 200 per room. It took my attention to reserve room rate is right.

We needed a stop over on an 8 hour drive and Snowcap was the perfect location. The price was right and I was surprised at how nice the room and services were. I would easily stay again for an extended time if we were back in the area.

Excellent customer service! The gentleman who checked me in was very nice. The hotel was cute and just across the road from Safeway, so you can walk there. My room was large and very nice, but under the stairs so was a bit noisy. The hotel as a whole was very nice and I do recommend it.

The King suite was super clean, and spacious, it had a nice desk for me to do work and the apple home was a nice addition. Pool and hot tube was clean. And I love a good hotel breakfast, for a small hotel, it had a decent breakfast, cereal, bacon, eggs, waffles and nice lactose free options for me. Downtown Cle Ellum is a great area to walk around, and the hotel being walking distance from safeway was nice to get snacks as well.

Very patient and willing to just give it a little bit extra to make me feel like my needs were validated. Sometimes when you ask too many questions or you need a little extra time to figure out your app or to move money around or whatever, you to get the tapping foot…but best Western doesn't ever seem to do that to me which I really appreciate because whenever you've been on the road for a while you're often tired and not thinking clearly at all times. ;-)

This is the perfect winter getaway. The suites are absolutely sufficient for our family, which is just a small family of 3. We love the rooms facing the backyard that allow you to see the snow covered courtyard area and watch the snow fall from the comfort of your room/window.

One thing that was immediate concern was that door wasn't working properly and you couldn't unlock it with the card. They kept it unlocked the whole day and locked it at night. Being in the room very close to the door (2nd room down) made my family uncomfortable. Breakfast that is included and served from 6:30 AM is very mediocre. Eggs were not cooked properly and tasted weird. They had gravy, biscuits, and sausages and everything else was not homemade. 2nd morning, we skipped the breakfast here and went to Safeway to get few things instead. When it comes to the pool, water is on the colder side. When we were there, few teenagers were having a snowball fight right in the pool/hot tub area. Gym is also located there, with only few machines crammed next to each other in a very small space. Around 10 AM on Saturday, we were getting ready to check out and were putting things back into the car. Someone used the opportunity that doors were unlocked for a moment and stole several valuable items from the center console and glovebox department. We went to the Front Desk, and they called Police. As I was talking to the Officer, a person of interest (known thief and drug user there) walked by and was stopped and questioned. That person went to the car parked on the other side of the Hotel, stayed there for about 15 minutes, and then drove away. I was informed that several thefts in the parking lot occurred in the past, so why is the Hotel allowing suspicious people to hang around on their property? Camera looking at that part of the parking lot covers only one side and not the side where my car was parked. At the check in, I was encouraged to park there and never informed that camera only partially covers it. After conversation was over with the Police officer, I went and talked to the Front Desk Manager, hoping they would do something to make this situation better. Manager said that they are reviewing cameras, cooperating with the police and basically, that they are not liable for a theft. Since then, I contacted Customer Relations Team in addition to submitting a survey detailing my experience. Response received was “we will implement improvements to ensure better experience and hope you will consider staying with us again”. This was our second stay and we planned on coming back again in December. After this experience, we will never stay here again nor will any of our friends and family members. Most of the stolen materialistic things we will be able to replace slowly, but we are sincerely disappointed with the lack of care shown by the hotel employees and the company itself. There are many options available out there, and if you value your safety and hard-earned money, Best Western Snowcap Lodge in Cle Elum should never be the one you choose.

Been staying there for years great place to stay at on your way East. Really awesome when it's been snowing out there. Looks amazing just might need to watch your step on those days. Comes very highly recommended

The initial room had a wet bathrobe, dirty toilet, food left in the refrigerator, and some type of white crusty stain on the sofa. The front desk attendant was very helpful and moved us to a new room immediately. The new room had some type of pasta sauce or ketchup on the blanket that's under the bed cover. After finding this, I left the hotel and stayed elsewhere.

My stay at the BW Snowcap Lodge was par for the course. The hotel is clean and updates with the staff being friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the free breakfast was a plus. Fitness center is a little tight on space but I was able to get in a workout and the pool & spa area are vary nice.

Upon arrival the price was changed even though I was told it wouldn't be. No shampoo, body wash, conditioner in canisters. Machinery for our view. When I spoke to staff they refused to adjust the bill. Told me to call best western customer service. Customer service said it was the hotels option to correct the situation.

Lisa Cook, at the front desk, was exceptional. A truly great personality, and extremely willing to help without whatever we asked for. I thought I left my prescription glasses there, and they searched the room, but Lisa had also noticed that I had been in the pool room, so she checked there as well. I did eventually find my glasses in my bag, so unfortunately, I put them on a wild-goose chase, but they were quickly willing to search for them. That's who they are.

Hotel was comfortable, had lots of amenities, fully staffed and most importantly, friendly and attentive staff. They were able to go above and beyond for us to get us an extra room (in a fully booked hotel) without charging any difference in pricing and open the pool early for us. Had free cookies! Is super close to restaurants and stores. Rooms were quiet, beds comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for two nights in comfortable rooms, excellent service from front desk, rooms fairly quite; even though close to interstate, just okay hotel breakfast. Did not use other amenities like pool and exercise facility.

We rented the room with the large in-room tub. We enjoyed sitting in the tub and watching television as well as the robes provided.The room didn't have a good view, but it was close to the lobby and breakfast.

The room was clean and spacious. The soaking tub was great and relaxing. We enjoyed the coffee maker and the fridge. The breakfast included was really tasty and fresh. Bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuits, waffles, etc. It was a great getaway weekend.

Due to exhaustion I made some errors in judgment, the maintenance manager helped above and beyond! Saved me from incurring penalties from damaging freight I was carrying, saved my trip. The entire staff was very nice, but maintenance was outstanding!

So close to Suncadia, Roslyn has fun older restaurants and bars. Tons of snow in the winter with many activities to do. The friendliness and service was the best. Next door to Safeway and several restaurants as well.

I got this for my kids Christmas present for the weekend we used the pool and when tubing down snow hill every one enjoyed it the pool was great the Grandkids cried they wanted to stay longer I think I will book for next year

Nice place to stay. Check in was quick and attendant was very friendly. Rooms were clean, a bit dated though. Breakfast was great and I could see that if I stayed in the summertime, they have a great patio to enjoy!

Christmas vacation. We chose here because of the snow. It was exceptional. We didn't even have to leave the hotel and instead were able to go right outside and play!!! Perfect and we will be making this our annual Christmas family vacation spot!!!

A couple tried to enter our room with my family asleep at 10pm and again at 4am! Clearly not guests. They were smoking cigarettes in their car outside room, even at checkout. Why did they have a key!? The staff is clearly hiding something. Made me like I was in the wrong. My son was terrified!!! We liked this place. We travel a lot for hockey and planned this to be a monthly half way stop. I even invited other hockey families to join. Vagrants are more important than monthly returning paying customers. They offered me a 10% discount!!! If this was handled better, I wouldn't even be writing this review!!!!! Not worth it people!!!

Stayed one night in Cle Elum before going on to Suncadia resort. Impressed with the cleanliness, breakfast options, and easy parking. Would highly recommend. Also near shopping and gas and restaurants.

We were pleased with our stay at the Cle Elum Best Western hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet and coffee were good. I liked the shower head and amenities.

Everyone was super nice. Place was clean, full buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day. Rooms were cozy. It was close to everything (groceries, gas, food, etc. etc.) . If I go back to Cle Elum, I'll be staying here again. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. Staff were very accommodating.

Went to cle Elum for a wedding. Literally spent $300 on 2 rooms just to sleep for the night. Everything we experienced was good, including the breakfast and indoor pool. Dining room could be bigger. But then again I guess you can just take it back to your room. We were on our way out so that really wasn't an option.

Couldn't have asked for a more friendly staff at this location. The room atmosphere was wonderful, the room was quiet and relaxing. I look forward to staying here again with its convince in the location.

I've driven by this hotel a hundred times wondering who would stay in a Best Western in a Safeway parking lot. People who know how great the Cle Elum/Roslyn area can be for summer adventures, that's who. We had a fabulous day exploring Liberty and then were well rested and cleaned up for our day by the Cle Elum river. The room was beyond spacious and the front desk staff was very helpful. The bed was super comfortable. The shower had an option rain shower (which I did not try because it was not a hair wash day). The breakfast was not good, but it was enough to get going.

The staff was so kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. Clean and quiet facility, even being located close to the freeway. Very central location. The staff was a reason to go back! Great breakfast each morning too.

I would definitely stay here again. Huge room, very clean, comfortable, walking distance to gas, grocery, fast food. Staff very, very helpful. Breakfast was nicer than I expected due to covid restrictions.

I found what I am assuming was a cleaning rag left on the chair in my room, as well as old coffee pod in the coffee maker. When I went to shower, one of the towels hanging up was already wet. The breakfast was limited and gross and the manager was rude at check out when I asked that my bill be corrected.

This is my favorite Hotel to stay at work or leisure. Clean rooms, friendly staff, very accommodating. Much quieter than the other hotels in town. One thing I found out is to call the Hotel to make my reservations.

Snowcap Lodge was convenient, modern and clean/Covid-safe with friendly, helpful staff and a surprisingly great breakfast - the nice gal even photo copied the label of the bread/toast I liked that turne out to be gluten free. We decided to get out of town last minute and BW Snowcap Lodge in Cle Elum was a great find that we will defintely use again!

The facility is very nice, conveniently located in Cle Elum with eating and grocery options near by. The staff has been amazing during these very trying times, going out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

We stay at The Snowcap Lodge when in town visiting family. Clean, comfortable & friendly. The pool & hot tub are a plus. Coffee, tea, fruit etc available throughout the day. The hot breakfast has variety of items. Good selection of rooms from which to choose. Home away from home.

The appearance of the Snowcap Lodge, cleanliness of accomodations and staff customer service makes each stay pleasant. I have stayed at the Snowcap numerous times during the past 10 years for both business and pleasure. The Suncadia Lodge is nearby and recreational opportunities are numerous. Golf, hiking, flyfishing and good dining are nearby.

We stayed at the Snow Cap Lodge and it was very nice. Lisa at the front desk was amazing. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The hotel staff was very friendly. We stayed for three nights and the price was very reasonable.

Snowcap lodge is one of the best places to stay in the area!! It is evident they care about the safety and health of guests!! During covid it is very important if a overnight stay is needed..that top priority is used in providing a clean environment using precautions and disinfecting regularly!! We stayed at Stewart lodge during our last trip through...the rooms were filthy..& looked like they hadn't been deep cleaned In months!! Snowcap lodge is definitely worth the extra $ spent in ensuring a safe comfortable stay!!

The two women checking me in at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The gentleman that was diligently clearing the snow from the parking lot and walkways was appreciated as well! As others have pointed out, the pool was clean and the kids loved it. We loved the clean hot tub. The warm sausage biscuit gravy was awesome! Typically traveling with a family, the warm breakfast and multiple options is one of the reasons why I choose to stay at a Best Western when traveling. For my level of comfort the bed was so-so and little on the firm side and I could also say that I wasn't blown away by the pillows, as some have either raved about the both or ranted. I slept ok, but my wife didn't. We stayed in a King Suite and the leather couch was nice touch in the sitting area. Two items I would suggest for improvement. One; add recycling cans. Most hotels now have a recycling can or two in the rooms and if you're going to "regulate waste" by having soap dispensers in the shower, then you should have recycling cans in the room for the plastic water bottles that you provided in our room. Additionally, with a grocery store across the street it would make sense that guests would stop there and consume products that would have recyclable waste. Suggestion two; in the King suite maybe consider moving the location of the television and adding a swivel arm mount, so the tv can be easily seen when spending time in the sitting area and when in bed area.

Compared to local alternatives, if you are looking for the most for your money, this is the place. The best value in this community. Clean, comfortable, convenient Covid and environmentally conscience.

Actually cutting short our long weekend together because they called us at 11:05 am this morning and said we were checking out today Saturday rather than the pre-arranged next day Sunday. When we checked in on early Friday morning the front desk clerk was confused about what day it was and the date. We had a reservation booked for Friday, Saturday, checking out Sunday. He canceled that reservation and rebooked us saying that we were checking in on Thursday (we had pre-arranged days in advance that we were arriving very early Friday morning and that we needed a pro-rated rate to check in technically before the 4 pm checkin time) and we said no, it's Friday and we want to check in early before the 4 pm time and explained we had arranged it prior to our arrival and were assured that we would just need to pay a pro-rated amount for the early checkin. He bungled it up, cancelled our original reservation and then changed it to checkin Thursday (it was Friday) and had us checking out on Saturday (even though I repeated multiple times that we want to check out Sunday, he agreed that he had us in for check out Sunday). We got a phone call from the front desk this morning, rudely telling us we had to leave even though we we understood we we were checking out Sunday. No, she said, this room has been rented and you need to leave today. Never staying here again. And the front desk needs a calendar for staff to reference when they don't know what day or date it is.

Great hotel for the price. Very clean and very friendly staff. It was a last min travel for us. I gave it a 4/5 rating because of the slow WiFi connection and disappointing to go breakfast. Otherwise it was a great experience. I would recommend and come back myself.

Very nice and clean stay. Breakfast was brown paper sack and ready to go. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was very helpful and check in was easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable and decorated nicely.

Excellent customer service (Zach and Tiffany were great) quick check-in and great room. Very comfortable rooms with plenty of tv options and wi-fi. Fitness center and pool/hot tub are well kept and very accessible. Overall great experience and plan to stay here again.

Our room was quiet, clean, and had a wonderfully comfortable bed and couch - not your typical hide-a-bed. They have added take-out biscuits and gravy to their basic COVID breakfast offering. It is a very nice touch added to several healthy items. There are several fast food places with-in walking distance plus some of the lowest price gas in the state just across the street.

We wanted to stay the night October 18, 2020. We've had good experiences with Best Westerns in the past, and this one is very attractive from the outside. The lobby clerk was NOT WEARING a mask! To add insult to injury, when asked why not, she replied to my husband that it was NOT any of his business. He said it was if he planned on staying there. He asked if housekeeping wears a mask, she replied that some do and some don't. I've complained corporate who said this hotel would respond. To date, they have not! We ended up staying at the Econo Lodge which was basic, but CLEAN, FRIENDLY and meticulous about COVID.

Nice hotel but disappointed that front desk staff did not wear face coverings despite hotel policy requiring people to do so. Surfaces in room had fingerprint smudges. Also as a single woman traveler I felt uncomfortable with front desk staff announcing my room number for all to hear in the lobby. This information should be kept private for safety reasons.

this hotel is so nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. Cle Elum is a very nice small town, surrounded by mountains, great place to stay for hiking or outdoor adventures. Great restaurants for dining. The hotel is close to a large super market, which was very convenient.

I stay every year to visit with my grandkids and they love it. It's grandma house they love the pool. It's the highlight of they're summer. It's never crowded like their own private pool and when there are other kids they have other kids to play with!

This is a nice hotel overall and I've stayed quite a few times when visiting family. I was really pleased to see they were following guidelines and policies during the pandemic. A staff member even explained how they were cleaning etc. which I appreciated. They had to-go bags for breakfast. The bed wasn't that comfortable, to be honest, and I would have changed rooms but they were completely full. Overall, I will return, despite the bed because the other times I've stayed the beds were fine. The hotel is right next to a grocery store with a gas station.

The room was very, very clean and I felt safe during the whole covid-19 thing. I could not have been happier or felt safer in a hotel during these troubled times. I tip my hat to the staff at Best Western for making my stay enjoyable and a relief!

This hotel is a lovely spot in a small Washington town. The rooms are spacious but cozy, and well-appointed. We go to Cle Elum to visit our daughter and her husband, and it's our favorite place to stay and will always stay there. The breakfast is great, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were not permitted to serve food, so they offered grab n, go bags that were FULL of healthy offerings.

I drive a day cab semi and occasionally need to stay in a hotel. Which brought me here. I've had good luck with BW in past and with Covid in full strength I was just happy to find a hotel I could park by and get a room. It's hard to judge the hotel fully for this since some of the issues were out of their control. I wanted a suite because I had my wife with me and I wake up much earlier then her and I like to watch the news in the morning without waking her. The room was $200 a night after fees and for that I got a very hard bed and when I say hard I mean concrete hard. I like a firm mattress but holy hell this thing was hard.. neither of us slept more then an hour at a time without waking up sore... Then the room only had a tv in front of bed and wouldn't move enough to see from the couch so the added cost for a suite was a waste... Then because of Covid they weren't serving breakfast and no restaurant around... If there was it would have been closed due to Covid anyhow... It's not like I can take my semi through the McDonald's drive thru...

I would not recommend this hotel. I had booked two nights thru Expedia and had to cancel the first night. The hotel staff instead cancelled my second night. I showed up to check in and they told me I had no registration. After talking with Expedia, they had it correct on there end it was the hotel employee who had made the mistake. The front office manager Lisa made no attempt to remedy the situation. The hotel was full due to a basketball tournament. She never even offered to call and find me another room at another hotel. I was basically told too bad. While I understand that people can make mistakes, the hotel should try to compensate me somehow for their error. I asked to get a hotel room comped for another night stay and the best they said they could do was give me a room at a government rate. Well I am already a state employee, so that really doesn't help me. Or at a minimum they should have offered to help find me accommodations.

The staff is friendly and inviting. Pool/hot tube was perfect after playing in the snow. The kids had a great time. We went with a large group and they arranged for our rooms to all be next to one another. Super accommodating!

The staff and room where exceptional. Easy access for larger vehicles. Also grocery and restaurants within walking distance. The room was quiet and comfortable. Although it would be nice if they offered a pet room.

All staff were friendly, kind and very helpful! Everyone seemed to enjoy their job and treated guests as if they've known them for years! Lots of smiles and pleasant greetings. We would definitely include this place in our next travel plan for this area!

Cle Elum is a fun spot to stay for relaxing or exploring. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff and a great breakfast. We have stayed here many times. Easy to get to from Seattle but far enough to feel like a get away.

We stopped here and chose this on the reviews. We weren't disappointed at all. Rooms were very nice. Big fluffy pillows and heavy blankets. Walk in shower. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best weve had. Pool and hot tub were open with no one there. Kids loved the pool. We would definitely come back

Sno Cap Lodge is our choice for accommodations in the Cle Ellum area. No other motel meets their standards. The staff is always very accommodating, informative & helpful. The room is always very clean & comfortable. The hot tub is clean water temperature is perfect.

Not the best, but not the worst. No hot water upon arrival. Reported to front desk - acknowledged this had been a problem earlier. Front desk staff bent over backwards apologizing - felt sorry for them as it appeared that they were use to failures in creature comforts and taking the hit. Where is management?

Modernish hotel, clean, LARGE ROOMS, quiet. Convienent to downtown. Small breakfast area, but very nice hot breakfast. Yes we would stay here again. And only the second hotel we've ever stayed in with dual shower heads! Nice surprise once you figure out the controls.

This was a nice place to stay for 2 nights. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Best of all were the kind, polite, and helpful staff members. Although the delicious breakfast was a close second! I loved all the choices for breakfast including protein options which can sometimes be rare at free hotel breakfasts.

I have stayed at this location many times over the past couple years. Every stay just gets better. This time was amazing. Breakfast was an 11 out of 10. So happy with the continual improvements. Not sure how they could improve.

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The full breakfast offers lots of choices and is very good, with Gluten free options.. We enjoy our one night stay each year.

Golf group. Great place to stay when playing Suncadia, for half the price. Clean rooms and close to the Safeway to get supplies. Also has a nice pool, although we wished it was open a little later. Enjoyed our stay.

I bought three rooms for my family for a wedding, and after discovering another family member had done the same I call multiple times to get a refund on my rooms, totalling $400. The manager was only available the day before the reservation, and did not give us a return because of it. I understand the staff is good, but if you have any managerial concerns, don't go here.

Due to an accident on the route home, decided to stop here. Never been here before and based our decision upon the reviews posted. The reviews were spot on. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The place and rooms were well maintained. The room was well stocked and clean. I agree the should be either a trash can in the kitchenette or the other trash can under the sink should be larger. One other comment, is the place is 2 story with no elevator. Important to note with those with mobility issues.

We love spending the night here on our way to Western Washington. Clean and comfortable. No elevator or HGTV. Wish they had both. We love the Mexican restaurant in the parking lot. We have eaten there the last three times we have passed through. It's the best!!

Beautiful older BW in Washington. The desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and very accommodating. Even though the building was older and a bit dark, the cleanliness and staff made up the difference with their brightness. The owner/manager could not force himself to say hello or just even nod acknowledgement to the customers who provide him his livelihood in America. Acted more like a bouncer or some sort of enforcer, made guests feel unwelcom. He needs to stay out of view.

Close to Snoqualmie Pass, Washington State Horse Park, and tucked into the heart of the Cascades make this location absolutely wonderful for vacation, travel stops or just a nights rest. Easy access to I-90 make it easy to find.

We stay at the Snowcap Lodge every time we stay in Cle Ellum. It is o. We especially liked that the hung the big screen t.v. on the wall. It is our go to place. Always a good experience, always very helpful to make our stay very nice. The room is spacious, comfortable and is always very clean. It is very well located, to a major grocery, gas station & restaurants with in walking distance.

My husband and I stayed at this Best Western last weekend for a wedding in the area. Our deluxe room was spacious and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were on the firmer side, but we like them that way. The breakfast was nothing special, and the waffle makers need to be replaced since the coating inside comes off on the waffles. However, we would recommend this place because the rooms are so comfortable and clean, and the location is very central to everything in the area.

We were on a golf trip and when we pulled into Cle Elum there was a thunderstorm. We were deciding whether we wanted to stay or move down the road a bit to avoid the weather and get a round of golf in. While we were discussing this in the Lobby, the Staff were very helpful with the process. We ended up staying and were glad we did. The rooms are decorated very nicely and everything appears relatively new and well maintained. We'll definitely stay here the next time we're in Cle Elum.

Unfortunately the clothes rod is the one "from hell" as the changes all fall off. and the one Valet Cart is only second to the one "from hell" as wheels keep locking up. Beds are too high for 5' 3" persons. Otherwise good accommodations and free breakfast buffet. It would be nice to have a larger waste can in bathroom of handicapped rooms as many of these folks need to dispose of pads or underpants.

Very clean hotel in a great location! Kids had a great time in the pool too! I recommend bringing your own pillow if you're picky they are hard and very thick. Close to coffee and restaurants within walking distance.

Very clean room and good breakfast. Very nice looking motel exterior and easy check-in. The beds were very uncomfortable, very hard, could not get comfortable, and the pillows were like sleeping on sand bags.

The room was very nice. We got one of the rooms with the large soak tub. It was very nice. The people we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was complete, well stocked, and pleasing. The facility has fast food locations and a Safeway within a block but the restaurants and cafes of Cle elum are only a short easy drive and worth the trip.

We always stay here when we come to Cle Elum. Nice, clean room with comfortable beds. Complimentary hot breakfast with a good selection and cookies at check in. Reasonably priced and there's a pool and hottub too. Great Location, right off I-90, next to a Safeway and a small shopping complex.

Booked this room for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding night. The wedding had been in the mountains. They advertise a special "Honeymoon Suite". The room was a very plain institutional hotel room with a hot tub. They did nothing special for the couple. The room was an oven, and making it cooler was not possible. I put my credit card down for payment with a note stating that I was paying for the room. However, instead of notifying me MONTHS IN ADVANCE that they needed written documentation for payment from second party, they wanted to do it that night, and have us email them from a mountain cabin with sketchy internet. We had to drive down and pay for the room in person. Also, there were loud marauding kids running everywhere because of a tournament. So, if you are a loud marauding kid, you might enjoy this property... otherwise look elsewhere.

They were remodeling the hotel but we still enjoyed every minute of our stay. Loved the milk and cookies to snack on before bedtime. Staff was extremely friendly evan while pushing couches down the hallway. Wonderful stay and the breakfast was very good. Thanks for making our night a blessing.

Due to weather issues we couldn't get into our nearby home and decided to stay at the Snowcap Lodge in Cle Elum WA. Thank you Jeff for your warm welcome and the cookies. The room was very nicely appointed and much larger than anticipated. A very comfortable king bed along with comfy pillows made for a good nights sleep. The next morning we took advantage of the free breakfast ( loved the waffles!) Thank you Lisa for your graciousness; you made us feel like valued guests even though this was our first time staying here. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable!

Called for a room around 2ish, talk to a lady named lisa and was able to get a room for the night. Checking in was a breeze, friendly staff and nice clean room. In the room that I had huge tub not like any I've seen. Overall it's a home away from home will stay again if passing through.ps no pets

Very nice motel. Better than most Best Western+'s that I have stayed in. Best motel in the area. Only drawback is there is no WiFi in rooms (thus the star 4 rating), have to go to common area, They do have a way of hooking up your device in rooms, but just a little complicated. Breakfast & amenities were great.

We were pleasantly surprised with this little hotel! We had a wonderful time in the pool which was very clean!!! We got fresh baked cookies at check in and we just had a very romantic evening. We will stay here again. The staff was very nice

Had a great experience here, and we will return again. The king suite with a soaking tub was just what we needed after a hike on the PCT. Front desk staff was great, especially Jeffrey.Breakfast was nothing special, they were out of coffee and biscuits at 8AM on a Wednesday, but hey, it was enough to get us on the road.

We paid for a queen and this bed was a not a full queen . Pillows were unusable . Hard as a rock . Poor quality of breakfast . Room was clean but the the sink was in the main sleep area . Wasn't nice when you are trying to sleep and your husband is shaving.

When we visit the Cle Elum area we generally try to stay at the Snowcap. We have stayed at the more well known resort in Roslyn...but it is very expensive. Their amenities do not out weigh the BW. Jeff, at the front desk took our visit over the top with his dinner recommendation & directions to the Mule & Elk Tap Room which is a bit hard to find.

So this is a nice hotel with comfort rooms, BUT it took me over an hour to check-in due to the front desk being short staffed. The poor lady working had pulled a double shift as they were “short staffed” & there were ~25 people trying to check-in. Then the next morning, all I wanted was a fresh cup of coffee. Well, you guesssd it! NO COFFEE! Management or the owners must not care enough to make sure this location doesn't skip a beat, because the lack of employees is no mistake.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Truly awful. Dirty and gross. Staff is unbelievably rude and disrespectful. Sleep in the Safeway dumpster it would be cleaner and the rats will treat you nicer.......................................

This was a great place to stay! It was very clean, quiet, had a great breakfast with lots of hot and cold items, and friendly staff. The motel is located very close to a Safeway, fast food restaurants, and an excellent Mexican restaurant, Los Cabos.

Friendly staff. Just not anything outstanding about our stay. I think it's a little over priced for what it is. Pool room was hot, hot, hot. Was hard to sit and watch grandchildren. Rooms are adequate.

We have stayed here before on our way to Eastern Washington. The room is very nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would have given this an excellent accept for the breakfast. Nice variety but every hot item was out at 8:50 and after 20 minutes the only item brought out were the hot biscuits. No gravy, no omelets and no bacon or sausage they were suppose to refill.

We booked last minute and thought this would be the best option in town. We were sadly disappointed with the stay, the property and the service. We arrived around 10pm, tired and ready for some sleep. The front desk person seemed to have trouble locating our reservation, but did finally find it. As we were finishing up with check in, my husband found a cart and went out and loaded up our belongings to bring in. As he rolled up with the cart, the clerk informed us that he should've waited to do this because we were going to be located on the 2nd floor and there was NO ELEVATOR....excuse me, what? So we hauled all of our things upstairs in shifts and finally got everything in the room. To be fair, the room itself was nice and spacious and well put together, however the bathroom vanity/kitchen area (yes, this is somehow all one space - microwave, coffee and fridge all at the bathroom sink) is right at the foot of the bed, with the toilet and shower in a separate room. Ok....we could live with this part and we were exhausted so we went to sleep. The next morning, I thought I'd see if just maybe we had a peek of the beautiful mountains from our window, so I opened the curtains. What came next was just confusion, disappointment, and then plain old annoyance. There was no view of anything other than a HUGE air conditioning duct and roof....like, literally it fills the whole window as you can see in the photos. The thing that really got us is that the property was not full - the parking lot was maybe 50% full, so I'd be shocked if this was truly the only room available for us. My husband travel for a living, so we're not newbies at hotel stays and rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was just really sad. Anyway, next time we'll be trying one of the "off brand" hotels in cute little Cle Elum!

We found this little gem on our last trip out to Seattle and we will definitely be back. Beautiful, comfy rooms, gorgeous area, friendly staff. The first time we met the maintenance man and he was a real sweetheart. We were bringing a boat back and he helped us find a way to park it so that it was out of the way. Sat and talked to him for quite a while. He wasn't there this time so we didn't get to say hi. But Jeff checked us in and was super helpful. They have free laundry and he and Sara helped me get the washer going...it was a little tricky. The pool and hot tub are fabulous! Jordan takes great pride taking care of the place and it definitely shows. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to stay again on our next trip out.

This was in the middle of a two-week road trip with a different hotel every night, so we saw a lot of hotels in a short amount of time. Snowcap was a pretty basic room, clean, well-laid out. Breakfast was very good and the staff was excellent. Hotel was older, but well-taken care of. And what a sweet little town (Roslyn, too). We will be back if we are ever in the area. Thanks for a good night!

I've stayed at many Best Westerns and the quality has sometimes been variable. This hotel was updated, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The rooms had everything that our family needed (seven people in two rooms). The area around the hotel had several quick dining options as well as a grocery store and the Starbucks my wife craves. It may sound silly, but this hotel had the nicest towels during our three week vacation. All of the other little things were of equal quality which added up to an experience where you appreciate the attention to detail. If you're going to be in the area, you won't have to wonder if you will enjoy your stay here... it's nice.

I've been trying several times to book a room via a "room block" for a August wedding. I never get an answer. The 800 number told me I needed to talk to hotel but again, I continue to try with no answer. I dial the number posted on website

Excellent room, simple and elegant.. Good people. Easy access to Safeway, restaurants, auto fuel. Good parking for small or large vehicles. Close to interstate ninety exit to get back on the road in the morning. Nice sunrise.

We had a great stay at the hotel, bed was great, water great, breakfast the eggs were dry. Apple was rotten, cream was sour. Everything else was great. Laundry was great. The hotel was very very nice.We had great service, checking in, recommendations for dinner.

I stay at the Cle Elum Best Western whenever I need a room in the area. The rooms are nice, some are very nice (multiple shower heads, large living space). The staff are friendly and know the area well. The breakfast room is its own room with a well organized buffet that is easy to navigate, even when crowded. For me, I like being close to the freeway entrance, restaurants, and groceries. They meet that need too. I'll stay there next time again.

Very nice hotel and staff. Quiet, good parking. Room lacked drawers to put your clothes into. Instead of a nice square working table with 2 chairs, there was only a half-round table against the wall with a single chair (have to ask for a 2nd chair). Good breakfast room with the now standard food that all hotels seem to have (same items each day). Hotel is walking distance to Safeway (and they have a gas station), some restaurants, and fast food eateries. Town is very drivable. Excellent access to/from I-90, the town of Roslyn (home of Northern Exposure, but not much in town except a cool historical cemetery), and Suncadia Resort. Somewhat close to the city of Ellensburg, WA. Take in your reservation confirmation for check-in. I didn't and upon check-out, my total was $4 more than my online confirmation (it was an error in the way the taxes and/or fees were calculated).

Nice motel located off the highway so it is quiet. Rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a Safeway within short walking distance in case you forgot something. In addition to a tub/shower there was a huge corner tub you could soak in to rest weary bones after a hike.

There are not many options when staying in the Roslyn/Cle Elum area. This is one of the best if you don't want to spend over $250 per night. I do not like that the hotel doesn't allow pets. The hovering owner is a little uncomfortable. He seems to appear every time I've checked in on several visits.

Very nice accommodations and the housekeeping staff kept the room in great condition. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice. Front desk staff could have been more friendly. The breakfast was well put together. The pool was a great bonus for my teenagers!

This Best Western is one of our favorites, it's always a great experience! The staff are very professional and go out of there way to ensure a fantastic stay experience... I would recommend this Best Western to all my fellow travelers on the East side of the mountains!!

I have stayed at this facility before, but something has changed. My room was remodeled and the staff were exceptional. The location has a gas station and great grocery store just across the street which is real handy preparing for the next day. Perfect stay

This hotel would not fix the internet Wi-Fi problem. Could not hook to phone or tablet. Owner was not very nice about the situation. The owner parks in the handicap parking spot. Would never spend that amount of money to get nothing. The staff was very friendly and they tried to help but owner has thier hands tired.

We were in Cle Elum for business. Fortunately we had made reservations because Snoqualmie Pass closed, stranding many people. There was only one clerk trying to check everyone in but she remained calm, and did an excellent job of helping everyone get a room. The hotel was completely packed but the rooms were still fairly quiet. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was that there is no elevator. It is a hassle to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs. Overall, this is a decent hotel. Nothing fancy, but decent.

The hotel is quite good for able bodied people, but I use a wheelchair. If you can't stand at all,you may want to check other places, because the beds in the handicapped room are 5-10 inches higher than a wheel chair seat. So lifting yourself from your wheel chair to the bed level is very difficult if you have no use of our legs. The breakfast is above average with nice supply of bacon and some sausage; Egs are kind of a folded over thin omletty thing a bit dry, but ok. Other pastries, cereals, etc all nice. Pillows nothing to brag about but as good as most hotels. Bed fairly comfortable firmness if you can get in it.

We were very impressed with our first look at the motel and then by our room. Everything looked brand new and it was probably a recent construction. Everything was exactly as it should be from the rooms, clean, well equipped, excellent heating on cold evenings and quiet. The breakfast was well prepared and attend by staff. The location was great, just off the freeway and across the street from a Safeway and Safeway gasoline station.

Visiting after taking kids skiing - utterly tired of paying $250+ numerous crazy surcharges at Suncadia for the most dis functional stay. While SnowCap might not have the glitz it wins in many areas - price around $100 is a bargain - parking is next to entry, not half a mile back in the snow as at Suncadia - pool is in the hotel, you don't need to drive to it as at Suncadia - pool is not packed out with kids and dirty. Very clean at the SnowCap - free breakfast. At Suncadia you hope to never go into the resteraunt because you know it will be $50 each for trash food and take forever - beds are comfortable. Suncadia needs new beds. Why stay in a hotel and get back ache - near the town, Safeway etc. Suncadia requires an endless drive back and forth - early checkin at 2pm. Suncadia - well don't show up until 6pm because you know the room isn't ready - rooms are clean and tidy. Suncadia corridors are dirty, food left out - can walk to rooms. Suncadia requires an endless wait for the damn elevator. So yeah, go to Suncadia and have a coffee. Then drive in to town and stay at the SnowCap. We saved so much money we can go again and again !

We stayed at Sno-Cap Best Western for a Saturday night stay while attending a wedding. Although hotel options are limited to a half dozen options this was second most expensive. We picked it due to reviews of clean nice rooms and found such. We did a King Jr Suite and it was pretty spacious with sitting area. The TV was smaller than should have been and sat on counter and not wall mounted. Made it difficult to watch from the bed. The heating/cooling was not very effective and the temp would go up and down making for difficult sleep. Bathroom was small but it had a dual showerhead with one coming from the ceiling so that was unique. It did have a fridge and microwave which we utilized. Front desk staff was attentive and efficient but their attire and look needs a little improvement. Overall good experience but a little over-priced for what you get.

The room was great, and we appreciated the half wall between the bed and the sitting area. The breakfast was good. There was a nice swimming pool but temperature was too cold. My husband liked the very hot jacuzzi. We particularly appreciated the help of Kevin at the front desk in helping 2 seniors chain up for the drive home over the pass in a snowstorm.

Stayed here on a snowboarding trip. The room was clean and comfortable but the wifi was a dysfunctional catastrophe. I had to burn all my cell phone data simply in order to check my email because the hotel's internet connection was so bad. Also if you're a night owl Cle Elum is not a great place to stay; the Safeway closes at 11pm and from then until 7am literally nothing within a 20 minute radius is open except for one skanky gas station. Had to drive to Ellensburg to get something to eat that wasn't a bag of potato chips, not exaggerating here. If you're staying here it's probably in order to go skiing or snowboarding... it's still a good 30-minute drive to the lifts but the prices are what I'd expect to pay for walking-distance accomodations.

My wife and I stopped here about midnight on the way home from Seattle. The weather was due to get really bad and we had very high winds on Snoqualmie Pass. This place was great...right off the freeway, very clean very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast. pool, exercise room and more. while I thought the price was a little high it was worth the price. If you are traveling over the pass this would be worth your stop if you are tired of driving or hit bad weather.

The hotel is easy to find, across the street from Safeway (perfect since the rooms include a mini fridge and microwave). The staff was friendly and easily accessible when needed. We enjoyed the hot tub (open til 11pm), and the breakfast was decent. If we stay again in Cle Elum we would definitely consider returning.

Over the top good service during the crazy NYE weekend on a repeat visit. It is also so close to many great activities..like sledding at Suncadia! The pool and hot tub are always a hit with everyone, plus the good breakfast before heading out.

Went for a night of fun in Cle Elum / Roselyn area. Stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. Our room was huge with a wet bar and separate sitting area. Location is good - walking distance to a restaurant, fast food options and a grocery store.

Good for location. Friendly staff but carpet needs cleaning, The towels were very nice, with a good TV, microwave and small refrigerator. Breakfast the normal, nothing special. Hotel is in a good location next to Safeway and restaurants, has a nice pool and hot tub.

We have stayed at numerous hotels and this is a local favorite for us. Always clean, very friendly. Safeway is across the street as is a gas station and hardware store. The hotel has a great pool, Jacuzzi and exercise area.

We traveled to Anacortes and stayed on our way through it was our first time travelling the Interstate and stopped just before dark at Cle Elum. We discovered there was a BW and we were thrilled. Being we are BW Diamond members. The lobby entrance was welcoming as were the staff. We'd had a long day and they provided us with an early check in and an upgrade to a king suite. Very quiet and inviting. The Staff were all very friendly and very accommodating . We liked the location, especially liked having safeway across the street. We enjoyed our stay so much we made our return stop in Cle Elum again with no regret. The continental breakfast was also delightful. We will return. Highly recommended. Only down fall was no elevator but we're healthy so wasn't an issue for us

It was a nightmare we checked in on Tuesday 11 2117 and our 11:20 to 17 we check to make sure that our hotel was paid up until till 12:28 it was an emergency due to your house flooding we have two service dogs and then gentleman from the night we asked did we have any complaints about our dogs at 3:30 in the morning somebody was making lots of Noise by our door so our dog alerted us and I woke up and try and get my dog quiet and then in the morning we went to the front desk and ask do we have any complaints Sarah the manager and our older gentleman the older gentleman we told him we do not take our dogs to hotels or we do not have neighbors upstairs or around us and he said it's going to take some time for your dogs to get used to the situation Sarah told us that we could not stay there and we told her you better call her insurance agency so I proceeded to call my insurance agency that referred us to the hotel I set up the last week and I told them I have two service dogs and the people from our insurance company said they want you to leave tonight I told them I was having surgery and my husband had a doctor's appointment and we left our two dogs with our son and round 1:25 and on the way to the hospital I called my son and asked him to go help his brother clean out the rooms my son took it by mistake we we turn the clock back to them on Thanksgiving Day they were texting Sarah the manager text her boyfriend which my son's girlfriend's the manager at Burger King he was texting her and telling her that we better bring the clock back and then he started threatening us and texting her all night and all day which we had already took the clock back to the morning clerk but she said thank you and he said they should have not kicked us out of the hotel because we have service dogs he told us that in the snow they have all kinds of dogs that come and stay there and they never have a complaint about them we called the that are not service dogs we called that corporate headquarters and Arizona and filed a complaint with them my husband has a pacemaker and three stance and a diabetic and that's why our dogs are service dogs that lurtz us when somebody's coming to our door or if my husband stops breathing or if his blood sugar gets too high my son and his girlfriend were staying in another room and we did not mean to take the clock my husband called them soon as he noticed it and told them that we would bring the clock back Thanksgiving morning and he took the clock back at 8 a.m. and the manager gentleman was on call and he said she should like that she is very rude very snotty rolled her eyes at us when we were talking to her would not look at us when we talk to her the older gentleman is supposed to work. Tuesday Tuesday night said he had a complaint about our dogs which I ask my son when he was in room 125 if he could hear our dogs bark he said he did not hear our dogs bark they both were very rude to us and I told them I have to go to the hospital in Ellensburg to have surgery and my husband had a doctor's appointment that afternoon so we could not take the dogs with us we left them in the car she said we'll get there are service dogs are supposed to take them with you hospitals surgery rooms in preops does not allow service dogs in them and it was cold and raining outside so we did not leave our dogs and our car he asked if we could leave them there I would avoid saying staying at this hotel because they're not customer-oriented or customer friendly very rude staff but I guess they have the smoking area right by the door and people go out there and smoke the pot and then they came and sat our dogs are running up and down the hall which they were not running up and down the hall they were on a list one of the housekeepers let us in and put it our dog and I would not recommend this hotel for people to stay at very rude customer oriented not acceptable thank you

My wife and I stopped by this hotel on our way home just because we had the time. This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable rooms we have had the opportunity to visit. The pool and spa were clean well maintained. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look the opportunity to visit this area and hotel again.

SnoCap Lodge is always our choice of Motel when we stay in CleEllum, Wa. It is very nice & has the amenities we enjoy. It is close to grocery, gas stations, eateries & on & off the free way The staff is always quick to help with any thing we need..

Ease of booking the right room...choice of room...check in/out...value...hot breakfast ...wifi...comfortable...spacious...clean...in room coffee...tv channels....location...hot tub....exercise room...pool...well kept grounds....parking....close to eats & groceries/gasoline. Everything made this our best Cle Elum stay ever.

One of the best hotels between Seattle and Yakima, WA. Front desk staff knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Breakfast is more than satisfying. Definitely a stop in all seasons. Indoor pool is always a plus. Plenty of parking, near Burger King, Taco Bell and Safeway.

I stay at the BW Snowcap Lodge whenever I'm working out of Cle Elum area. It is close to food and drink, and has easy access to the mountains and forests in central Washington. Most importantly, the beds are always comfortable and the shower heads are high enough actually shower under. I can count on a decent breakfast and cup of coffee in the morning and a cookie in the evening. If you stay there, drive to Roslyn and eat at The Brick. You don't want to miss the food there.

Place is very clean staff not as good as it use to be , They just seem to be doing their job . Breakfast looked ok just wanted coffee pot was empty first day and had to ask for a full pot on the second day ,

The building and rooms are reasonable but the staff consistently is unhelpful. Loud fans (for water or killing pests?) in the room next to me were not mentioned during check-in. When I brought this to the attention of the staff the next morning their opinion was that I did not call the front desk to complain. It was my fault for not calling them (I was just trying to sleep). So I am doing it now. Who would have thought that industrial heating Fans running all night would keep our guests up?.... Not the staff. Very unfortunate as the location to I-90 and the pass makes this a very convenient location. This is the second time I have had issues with the staff. Stay here if you don't mind complaining. They will only care if you complain at the time of the issue.

I've stayed at the Best Western Snowcap Lodge in Cle Elum many times while in town for work and it's definitely the nicest hotel in Cle Elum. Some of the bathrooms a standard shower head plus an overhead rain shower head that you can have on simultaneously. You won't find that anywhere else in town.

Staff is Rude, hotel is rundown and dirty, Staff is Rude, no water pressure, walls are thin, Staff is Rude, I requested an early check in, I was told my room was not ready and I had to wait. The next 4 people were given rooms without incident while I sat there waiting. Stay here if you want not a lot of option in the area but the dumpster behind Safeway is probably cleaner, Quieter and the rats are probably friendlier. Seriously. I stay in hotels all over the PNW this is the worst ever.

Beautiful area to stop, rest, play, and enjoy. This location is a choice to be made before traveling another 1/2 hr to Ellensburg. The hotel in general is well cared for and the rooms are comfortable. Found the internet slow and at times sporadic. Breakfast is sufficient to start the day and reserved to the exact time noted for service. Note that this is directly adjacent to I90 so if you like the windows open and highway background noise is a challenge, consider other choices. Staff is friendly. Proximate to Safeway grocery and 5 minutes to any of Ellensburg's attractions and accommodations.

We stayed here this past weekend to attend a wedding at the nearby Swiftwater Cellars. We didn't want to pay the insanely high nightly rate at the other recommended accommodation (Suncadia Resort). The front desk staff was able to get us an early check-in so that we could quickly get ready and make it to the wedding on time:) Our room was clean and comfortable- honestly all we were looking for on this quick trip. We ended up leaving our car at the wedding location and were striking out with options to get back to it (no Uber, etc. in Cle Elum). Enter Andy, another example of the exceptional staff this Best Western has. Andy offered to give us a ride! We didn't think we heard this correctly when we called down to the front desk to ask about possible options. They said he was leaving anyway and would be happy to help us out. Wow! Thank you for going out of your way to assist us Andy. We are now Best Western Snowcap Lodge guests for life!

Very nice facility, bad pillows (too big), so-called "high speed internet" was a farce. Slow, long time to download email or anything else. Room very nice, quiet, clean. Did not use free breakfast since it was the usual fare and not available until 6:30 am. Too late for our travel plans. There is a McDonalds nearby.

We've stayed here twice and the hotel is beautifully appointed, the rooms/beds are comfortable, the spa area is well maintained, the full breakfast is better than many. I especially enjoyed the dual shower heads. After a long drive, it was a relaxing stay!

When making plans to visit Cle Elum I was disappointed to find this hotel was booked . I asked the staff to put me on a wait list in case a room became available and was very pleased when they actually did call me. It is a nice hotel and the rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast buffet with plenty of choices for a hot or cold meal.

The overall appearance and cleanliness was above average for a Best Western in my opinion. I liked the building and it's amenities. I wish there were more than one washer and dryer for the entire building however.

Check in was a disaster. There was only one woman working the front desk who was only marginally competent so the wait was very long. We had requested an early check-in and were told we could be accommodated but when we went to check in at 2 (not even at 1 as we were told we could) the room was still not available. We were to attend a wedding at 4 and we did not get checked in until 3:30. This is not acceptable. If you say you can accommodate early check-in you better be able to deliver. Since only one person was working the front desk she had to check people in, take calls, and track down the cleaning staff to check on the status of the rooms. This is absurd. When the manager came out and saw many disgruntled customers he apologized but did not offer assistance to the poor front desk employee. He excused himself as "he did not know how to use the system at the front desk". I have never heard anything more absurd. The owner/manager doesn't even know how to check someone in or take a phone call? Very embarrassing and unprofessional. He could have at least helped by checking on the status of rooms so the woman up front didn't have to keep leaving the front desk to go check. I highly advise Best Western higher management to pay this hotel a visit and offer some extensive training to it's current staff. The room itself was nice, very clean and comfortable so we had no issues there.

Very nice, very clean (and I'm a clean freak), very comfortable, very spacious, rooms. Pillows were FABULOUS!! Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Great location. Good breakfast. I would highly recommend Snowcap lodge, but just as an FYI there is no elevator. I didn't use the indoor pool or hot tub.

Our family (4 adults and 3 children) spent 2 nights at this hotel, having 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms were very clean and well equipped with all that customers would need, including a lovely en-suite bathroom. There is a large indoor heated swimming pool, with towels provided. A buffet breakfast with a varied choice of hot and cold food is included in the price.

Loved everything about this place. The location is awesome. The place it self is absolutely beautiful. Had a great time touring around while not in classes. Peaceful, setting and surroundings. Short distance to Ellensburg. Travel on Hwy 10 to Ellensburg for a beautiful scenic drive. We will definitely be booking here again.

The rooms are massive and clean . Bed is clean and comfortable. Seconds away from I-90 & Safeway grocery shop is next door. Breakfast could be better but it is not bad. Definitely you get what you pay for

After driving from Ocean Shores, Wa, we found this motel to be clean, quiet, average breakfast and close to a chain grocery store and shopping. This town appears to have a great selection of motels. Staying at Best Westerns these days is much better than they used to be, thus restoring our faith in Best Westerns after a few years of not booking ANY Best Western motels. They seem to have upgraded some of their property's. Poor TV selection.

We stayed one night on way back to Seatle but could have stayed longer, with the activities like white water rafting, walking, mountain biking, etc nearby. Large comfortable rooms, with fridge, microwave and plenty of space, even when sharing with two teenagers. Helpful, friendly staff, who recommended The Cottage restaurant for dinner - which was excellent and for non-Americans a must-do for a traditional diner experience. Breakfast was basic but fine - yoghurts, make your own waffles, bagels, muffins. Disappointing that the only fruit was pots of processed fruit salad but that was the only complaint. Not a picturesque location, you can hear the freeway when you're outside (it's just over the back fence) but not in the rooms. There's a petrol station and a Spar on the other side of the road. So, convenient but not pretty.

I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the beds were in this hotel. The pillows were luscious and fluffy, not the cheap pillows you usually find in hotels. This best western did not skimp on bedding. The hotel was clean and I slept very well it. The room was quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel if I was staying in Cle Elum for the night, I had a great experience.

Well worth the money . Cheerful & knowledgeable staff . Decent breakfast . Good internet connection . Large , comfortable rooms . Amenities were nice . Location within the community provided easy access in & out of area .

This is the place to stay at if you are visiting Cle Elum or in the area. We travel from Seattle to Chelan and usually after a long flight, so we stay in Cle Elum. We arrive late and have consistently found this Best Western to be welcoming and a perfect room. They are large rooms and extremely well kept. We always get a good nights sleep, followed by a very nice breakfast. What more c an you ask for.

Visting area, Bestwestern was reasonable, however each day service less and less. Stayed three days. They say toss towels on floor if you need them replaced; yet not all were. They ask do not use wash clothes to remove makeup, use little towelettes they leave but they don't always leave them. Suppose to get cookies upon arrival but never did. Overall ok, but won't stay as long next time. Location very busy as it's across from Safeway; lots of traffic with mcdonalds and Burger King and Taco Bell across street.

My college roommate and I were travelling between Glacier National Park and Olympic National Park when we stayed here. It was lovely - the room was great, location was great, a good complimentary breakfast, and a nice pool and hot tub.

I've stayed here before and have had generally good experiences. We've previously reserved a king-sized bed and have always requested the top floor. I made the mistake of reserving a queen-sized bed on our most recent stay. The bed was most definitely smaller than queen-sized, we sleep on one at home so are familiar with what its size should be. It also moved A LOT every time one of us turned over. Also the room location was the worst I've had here. Right next to the bottom of the stairs and next to a main exit door. Thankfully people were not overly noisy when leaving, but the repeated noise of the door opening and closing and a lot of foot traffic didn't make for a sound night of sleep. Also there are outdoor lights directly outside the window and no black-out shade. I sleep with an eye mask so it was non-issue, but if you don't have one and are light sensitive it would be an issue. This is a really decent hotel, just make sure to reserve a king-sized bed and request a top floor room. Also avoid room 101.

Clean and quiet, nicely updated and very large room. Lots of amenities which were a welcome site to our family of 5. King sized comfortable bed with nice linens, pull-out couch for the kiddos, divided room with a large kitchenette area that included a larger compact fridge and microwave, nicely updated decorations that made the room feel cozy.

Jaime greeted us with a big smile upon check in. She also checked us out the next morning. She was cheerful and upbeat. The room was clean and comfy. No complaints at all. Breakfast was pleasant with a nice variety. We would recommend.

IF you arrive at the Snowcap Lodge, don't be taken in by the pretty decor of the lobby. Instead, make sure up front that everything is working as advertised. And IF everything is NOT working, don't wait for over an hour for someone who was promised to fix the problem to arrive, because they won't. And IF you tell the front desk that you're leaving because the room wasn't in working order, don't be surprised that they're shocked - SHOCKED - that you don't want to stay in a room that doesn't fulfill the main reason you came to stay there. DO be sure to watch for "professional" treatment by management as you are dismissed.

My family stayed at the hotel for a week. The staff was friendly and helpful. A couple of notes about the room. There are no blackout curtains on the windows, and there are no drawers to put clothes into. The breakfast was good. The hot tub was hot. All and all a good stay.

This hotel would get five stars except for two issues that we had. First, there is no elevator in the building, a real hardship for the elderly and disabled. No floor level rooms were available even though we had reserved one. We managed to have the party who cannot navigate stairs easily hobble up to the second floor, thankfully on a staircase that wasn't too long. The next problem was the air conditioning. The unit only cooled half the room, and it wasn't the half with the bed. They really need to fix that issue. Everything else was great. Friendly staff, nice clean, heated pool and spa. Good morning breakfast buffet, large, clean room with excellent shower. Plenty of sink space, with one for face and a separate one for drinking/cooking. Really appreciated the iphone charger! The in room coffee service was delicious. And the huge king sizedbed was very comfortable, as was the fold out couch. We will be back.

This is a pretty new Motel just West of the old Downtown area. Rooms are big and clean, but first floor is noisy when people are pounding around. There is no elevator. You can walk to McDonalds and Safeway and a couple small restaurants from here. The pool is very nice. Breakfast is ok. No variety from day to day. This town fills up in Summer and weekends and it can be hard to find a room. The rates go up when its busy, but its still a pretty good value. I had trouble with the laundry during my last stay. The dryer kept shutting off and you had to keep checking it every 10 minutes or so. There were 3 people trying to get wash done that night and we were all up too late and upset. I suggested that everything should be in tip top shape during this busy season when rates are high and we all have tight schedules- whether you are working here or on vacation.

I have continued to be impressed with every visit to this hotel. The rooms are well kept, all amenities delivered with pride, and the staff is always helpful and friendly.I can always count on a very relaxing stay with no discomfort.

I enjoyed the stay the Best Western in Cle Elum. The staff was friendly, even though I could see that the receptionist had had a hard day, she didn't let it reflect in her greeting or assistance at check in. The room was nice and large, clean, and comfortable. I will stay here again on my travels in and out of Seattle.

I was pleasantly surprised by the plesant ambience in this close to the freeway and town hotel. Our room was beautiful and spacious, we all slept well and enjoyed the warm breakfast options the following morning. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and Jacuzzi.

We were very satisfied with our stay, the rooms were very clean, roomy and comfortable. The continental breakfast took it to the next level, a ton of great choices, including a waffle station! Pool was very clean and inviting.

The room is perfect for an overnight stay, comfortable bed, tv with local channels and cable, fridge, microwave and Coffee pot with ample towels and sundries. The only caveat was the alarm clock was preset to 7:30am. Didn't make me happy but it's still a great room! I'd definitely stay here again!

The staff are friendly. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. The bed was comfy. The keys to the room did not work so I had trouble getting into my room and into the building after spending the day out and about. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, and this hotel was the first I know of the listed warnings about stealing items and the cost for each item. Seemed a little weird. They have probably had trouble with stealing here. All of the warnings and the high cost of replacement made me nervous to use the towels. I will probably never stay here again because honest guests should not have to worry about that.

This was a stay at a hotel located conveniently along our route between Minneapolis and Vancouver, BC. No Hampton or Fairfield Inn or HIE along this stretch, but this turned out to be a very nice stay before an early morning start for the Seattle area and on the the Canadian border.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations for a small town Hotel. The rooms were updated and spaces with all the extra's you would want. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this Best Western to anyone.

Always happy with the accomodations. The best in the county, for the price. Comfortable bed, Overhead shower, in shower shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispenser. Very handy. Nice pool & hot tub. Better than average breakfast. Helpful staff.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a Safeway which was great for us since we were in Cle Elum for 5 days. The hotel is very clean and very quite. Our king-sized room was modern, spacious and had a separate area with a couch, coffee table, microwave, refrigerator and a large desk for which I am at now writing this review. The bath itself was large with two shower heads (one on the wall and one from the ceiling.) Towels were plush and bright white. There were plenty of electrical wall sockets to accommodate our electronic devices which is an added plus. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating for which we had contact with the front desk, maintenance and housekeeping, Five-star staff! I can highly recommend this well-maintained, clean and quite hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Cle Elum or surrounding area.

During a weekend in April of this year, I had a bike race in Cle Elum Washington and our family needed somewhere to stay. This hotel looked like a great option and it was. The location is literally right off the highway, just take the exit and turn right and you're there. We arrived pretty late at night, around 10:30, so it was already dark outside. The property from outside looked very clean and was well lit. There were no problems with parking and there were plenty of spaces. The lobby was nice and clean, and was well lit. The front desk staff got us checked in within 5 minutes and we were in rooms 115 and 117. I was in room 117. Both of the rooms were king size and easily could have accommodated all four of us if not more people. Seeing as it was pretty late when we got there, I did a quick glance over of the room, and it seemed clean and was quite a nice room. In the morning, I inspected the room more thoroughly, where I noticed a few minor things. First, the HVAC is a system that is automatic, so you just set the temperature and it will cool or heat to that temperature without letting you choose the mode. A little annoying but it was ok. The HVAC unit, which was below the window, made a rattling sound when the fan was on, which was a bit annoying but wasn't bad. Another minor thing is that the only clock in the room was in the form of an iHome, that was A) In the office area and B) wasn't set to the correct time. It was easy to change the time and move it however. Speaking of which, the room I was in had a microwave and a mini-fridge, both of which worked well. The microwave beeper was really loud and annoying though. There was also an extremely comfortable sofa bed in that room. The bathroom sink was in the main area to the left of the door and the counter was massive. They could have put three sinks and there still would have been plenty of room. While there was no closet, there was an area for hanging clothes with rather annoying hangers. The bathroom itself had a shower that had both a rain head and a normal shower. Both had amazing pressure and while the controls were a little confusing, they were easy to remember. One little thing is that the rain head was quite loose and could have fallen out probably if wiggled hard enough. There was no lack of towels throughout the room so that's always a plus. The bed was quite comfortable and the pillows were pretty soft but not extremely. There were tables on either side of the bed which was a good thing. However, the drawers in them hit the wall and there was some paint damage in certain areas of the room. It took me until the 2nd day to find the Kleenex box which was located on the wall next to the TV, which was a flat screen that was pretty large and had good quality. You could also hook up your own device which was nice. A minor complaint about the room is that there were tons of light switches, I counted 15 in total, which is a little too much in my opinion, but at least you get a lot of choices about lighting in this room. This hotel had a pool and it was quite nice. The temperature was cold at first but it was easy to adjust to. There was a hot tub, but it was way too hot, even for my parents. Also the temperature in the room had to be over 80 degrees, it was way too hot. The pool room was undergoing some sort of renovation at the time as well. Also, none of the lights in the actual pool worked, or maybe they just weren't turned on. Either way it was a little dark in there. However, the pool was open until 11PM so that was nice. This hotel also has 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. While you don't have to pay to use either, you do have to pay for detergent for the washer. There was also a breakfast service that had pretty good food and featured DIY waffles, eggs, milk, toast, your standard hotel breakfast stuff. One final minor thing, the key card that I was given was very picky and worked about 50% of the time. Overall, I think it was a great little hotel with a few small things that could easily be fixed, but there were no cleanliness issues and everything seemed to be in pretty good shape. So, for a weekend or maybe a weeklong stay, it's a good hotel that I would definitely recommend. I have a YouTube review of this hotel coming soon so there will be a link here.

I'll quickly start out with my only complaint because the Snowcap Lodge is a quality Best Western in all regards which is why I was surprised that they do not have room darkening drapes.It's June and it's the Northwest which means light until almost 10PM and again at 4:30AM. The room drapes filter the light, but they should be room darkening. With the hotel parking lot light on my room had too much light for this light sleeper to get a good night sleep. Seems like such a normal thing to have in any hotel and in winter it might still be an issue with the light, but putting that aside the place is otherwise great. I had a room on the first floor right across from the laundry area which I hoped would not be an issue and it was not. The hotel was quiet. Nice big clean rooms with a small refrigerator and microwave. A big nice shower with a tub. A good work desk and big TV. The free breakfast is quite varied and good and the internet works great. Definitely a well run establishment.

We found the Snowcap Lodge to be very clean, comfortable, and friendly. The area is very picturesque near mountains and pine trees and the hotel is very nice compared to many others where we have stayed.

This hotel had to be the cleanest of the Best Westerns that I have stayed in this past month of which there were about 16. The staff was super pleasant and very very accommodating. The decore was very current. The laundry room was very well maintained and there was no charge to do my laundry. The ONLY issue I had with this hotel is that I wish the room doors closed quieter. There was a lot of door slamming. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel is conveniently located near the Suncadia resort and close to town amenities. Hotel is Clean, well maintained, and beds are very conformable. If you are looking for a hotel that is affordable, updated and staffed with friendly people this is your place.

Nice place to stay. A little spendy for Cle Elum but the amenities made up for that. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options which was nice to not have to go out to eat. The room was clean and comfortable.

We booked the hotel because of Cle Elum's proximity to Seattle and the positive reviews on various websites. The lodge is fairly easy to find. The building is located between I-90 and a Safeway grocery store. On 1st Street (the main drag), there is a sign that says Best Western and has a large arrow. The only problem? The sign is about 20 yard past the entrance to the parking lot, giving the impression that the entry is farther down the street. The only problem with this set up is that if you misinterpret the sign, the road turns into an on ramp for I-90! Once we got passed that issue, everything else went well. The lodge was easy to find, the front desk was easily accessible and check in took a very short time. (Warning: there is no elevator so a second floor room means a lot of hauling stuff upstairs if you pack as heavily as we do). The room itself is enormous. The layout is very open and easy to navigate, even with four of us and a boatload of suitcases. Although the highway is close by, it is a very quiet room.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our booked room had not been cleaned so we were promptly upgraded to a jacuzzi room. We loved the super clean room with top notch fixtures. The welcome cookies were an appreciated extra. Staff was very pleasant. Supermarket and good Mexican restaurant within walking distance. We also appreciated being able to take advantage of the stay & ski deal. It's an easy drive to ski. We also thought the breakfast options were varied and nice. We think this is a great losing option in Cle Elum!

I was impressed. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Even helped us with an xtra room when needed and made sure the rooms were near each other. Early ck in was nice and late ck out was what we needed. The accommodated us.

Rooms exceptionally quiet. Never heard other guests or the traffic. Beautiful, upscale property. Spotless and clean. Bed very comfortable. Tucked away at north end of town, but nothing is far away. Check out the Sunset Cafe on the main street. Famous for homemade raviolli but everything, and I mean everything, is exceptional.

First, the lack of an elevator should not bother most, but will cause issues for guests with limited mobility. The rooms are large and nice. Sadly, customer service is lacking at the front desk, mostly due to one young man. The ceiling over a portion of the pool is damaged and missing. The noise from outside is noticeable in the rooms facing the parking lot. Breakfast is in a cramped space with limited seating. A positive is the shower. It had good pressure and lots of hot water. I did meet and chat with some very welcoming staff. So overall the hotel offered good and bad experiences.

Great towels and linens; Best shower controls ever seen. Pillows too hard. Blinding lights...THREE OVERHEAD SPOTLIGHTS ABOVE SINK. No sink in bathroom so no privacy for washing. Blinds let in too much light. Beds too high; trash bags tied so tight with air in them had to poke holes to use them; three clocks all on wrong time; incorrect instructions for internet above desk; terrible TV controls print so tiny could not read them; no paper/pen or critique forms in room (I've learned to carry my own); no luggage rack;

I picked this hotel because they had an indoor pool that was open 24/7 and the reviews were good. It was just me and my son, but when I booked the room I booked 2 queen beds, but when I went to check in the front desk told me they had me in a one bed room because they only showed one adult. It should not matter, if I booked 2 queen beds that is what I wanted. She was able to switch us to a room with 2 queens so they made it right. I have to say, one of the best nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Very quiet, bed super comfortable, room very clean. I hate to say but my son was so tired after the drive he did not want to get into the pool, but it did look nice. I did try the breakfast, it is in a very small room and not a lot of seating, and it was not the best, but it was ok. I will most definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, bright, modern facility set in a pretty location outside of main downtown area. The room was very clean and bright and included a sleeping area and a business area (with couch, table, desk and chair). Microwave and small refrigerator with free bottled water. Bed was superior and shower was wonderfully hot. Breakfast was exceptional with continental and hot choices (waffles, cheese omelet, sausages) and even scones. Staff was professional and check-in was quick and easy. Safeway and a couple of fast food places were across street.

We were very pleased with our stay! Service was amazing and very clean!! We will be coming back and staying again! We really enjoyed your little town! Kids enjoyed the pool. I was really thankful to see we were able to use our Military discount! I even received a Thank you for your service!!

I didn't know what to expect, considering Cle Elum is a very small town on the side of the highway, but the Best Western SnowCap Lodge exceeded any possible expectations I might have had. Their staff was friendly and courteous, the rooms immaculate, and the venue was very quiet, despite being located at the end of a very busy parking lot. What a lovely experience!!

We stopped for quick sleep after a long day of work, sports and driving. We enjoyed our stay because it was a nice quite escape from the normal for our traveling soccer family. It was also quite nice to be in such close proximity to a grocery store, restaurants and gas stations. Breakfast was very nice and had a lot of variety. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again, when a similar situation arises.

Our stay at Snowcap lodge, Cle Elum was Fabulous! We were staying here for our daughter's wedding. We spent quite a bit of time at the lodge since we were in town earlier than most other guests and the weather was a little cold to go out for walks. The room was comfortable and clean so it wasn't hard to stay inside and visit with other members of our group staying at this lodge. The beds were very comfortable, same as we have at home, or better! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

The room was clean. At 4 a.m,. someone tried to enter the room from the door between the rooms waking my wife and I up. Then there was a T V blaring and we never got back to sleep. This all happened less then 50 feet from the front desk. When I told the clerk at check out what happened he said there was a wedding party with a lot of alcohol at the hotel!

Hotel was great very nice beds nice rooms nice internet nice cable. would recommend this hotel to anybody. and will stay and use again from time to time when they are available not every location has one.. example morton.

My children loved the pool! Loved the complimentary waters in the room! Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good! You can see the thought in customer service! They let us check in a bit earlier so that the kids could swim for a little while!

My husband and I stayed here one night while traveling. We did not spend much time in the hotel. The room looked quite nice, but there was a pretty bad smell. My husband says it smelled like a smoking room. I thought it smelled more like must. (Room 125) Nevertheless, it was quite unpleasant. It was late so we did not ask for another room. The shower was very nice, strong pressure. The TV was very close to the end of the bed and we had to hold the remote up to change the channel. (A taller TV stand would be nice). Breakfast was mediocre. We have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns, generally they are nicer than this one. I expect a bit more for $130 a night.

They are so polite and very helpful and a very comfortable bed and clean rooms ,The continental breakfast is good and filling the hotel is very clean and so are the rooms . The staff is very polite and always there to meet your needs.

One of my worst experiences with best western Check was terrible, would not honor my previous discuss discount. Rooms smells bad. Pool was toxic. Sink drain was broken and FULL of hair. Water pressure was inconsistent. Sheriff was presented and walking bthe grounds all evening. Didn't feel my children were safe. Staff was greasy and standoffish. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. And room temperature wouldn't stay consistent.

Love staying at BW all over the western US. You can depend on quality service and clean comfortable rooms with nice contintntal breakfasts. The Snowcap in Cle Elum, WA, whee I have stayed 5 or so times,has been good except this stay they had gross tasting waffles. I love my waffles.

Unexpected amenities like locally roasted coffee and double shower heads. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Pretty good location next to Safeway, just about a mile from downtown restaurants, easy drives to other interesting towns in area. I hope to return to Cle Elum to further explore, would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

Good hotel, off the freeway and relatively quiet. Good Mexican restaurant within two blocks as well as several fast food places and a Safeway store. Didn't eat the complimentary breakfast but it looked pretty good with egg patties, sausage, etc.

Nice hotel and our room was huge room 225. Comfortable and very clean and quiet. Easy to find, friendly front desk people, very friendly cleaning staff. Couple places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Service at front desk was good and expedient. The Hotel was clean and the room was spacious and attractive. Pillows on bed were uncomfortable ( I usually bring my own because I'm picky) the bed was very comfortable. The early morning traffic noise was a bit much so I would recommend getting a room opposite of the freeway if you want to sleep in. This will be my go to Hotel when staying in Cle-Elum in the future.

This is the Only place we will stay in Cle Elum...Clean ,friendly with fresh baked cookies !The morning breakfast is warm and fresh hot food...Making a hot crisp waffle fresh is my favorite !!! Easy on and off access to I 90

Rooms were upgraded nicely and the breakfast was really good and relaxing. I'd recommend staying here if you enjoy a nice quiet setting. Also, it's nice that they've got varying food places right around the hotel and a Safeway.

Nice, clean hotel with all the amenities - only thing that didn't work was the drain plug in my bathroom. I couldn't take a bath. I also found the remote control for the TV a bit complicated. It might be helpful for the hotel to include instructions.

We always enjoy our stay in the Sno Cap Lodge. It is our motel of choice while in Cle Ellum. The rooms are spacious, the rain showers are very refreshing. Breakfast, is better than most motels. Always fresh cookies in the evening. A short walk to restaurants, a major store & gas station.

This was a pit stop for us on a long drive - what we really wanted was a good night's sleep. So we were very tolerant throughout a lengthy and never resolved problem with wifi. At midnight when I trod on a sharp stone, I was too tired to get dressed and take it to reception (as the duty manager - David Palma - later told me I should have done) The next morning housekeeping tried to get in at 7.28am. They attempted again at 7.53am and finally at 8.50am. At this point we spoke to Lynn from housekeeping who showed us that the front desk had us checked out. We went to the front desk: no, said Mr Palma, Lynn was wrong. Of course, it's precisely when things go wrong that a company has the opportunity to demonstrate good customer service. We did not get that: we got passive-aggression, constant talking over us and even laughing at us. This enflamed an already irritating situation, exacerbated of course by lack of sleep. The room (sharp stone aside) was good: clean and spacious. But the spectacular lack of customer service, coupled with the attempts to get into our room way before check out time, all exacerbated by a lack of accountability, means I'll steer well clear of "Best" Westerns in future. This was the only single episode of bad service in 3 weeks in Canada and the US however, so I'm sure it's an anomaly and we'll be more careful where we stay in future.

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at on our recent trip to Washington. The staff was friendly, the hotel was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable despite being hotel beds. This hotel is close to amenities (gas stations and fast food restaurants) as well as close to town. The hot tub/pool area was perfect and the continental breakfast was the best that we'd had thus far on this particular trip. All the rooms have been upgraded with top of the line features (stainless steel mini fridges and microwaves, ipod stereos, recessed lighting and beautiful updated bathrooms). This hotel was quiet and comfortable. My husband and I will only stay here when we return to visit some friends.

We stopped in at the hotel because our previous stay at a Best Western had been good. We needed a pool for our children who had been sitting in a car for too long that day. Problem was that the main pool was very cold. Even our 4 year old could not be in it for more than a minute. A week later and he still talks about the hotel with the cold pool! We were happy with the room but very disappointed that the pool was too cold and we could not enjoy it since this was the reason for choosing this hotel.

Crossing Snoqualmie Pass, this is the most comfortable hotel between Ellensburg and Issaquah along I 90. Rooms are spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and fit with high quality linens and towels. On the out-skirts of Cle Elum, near the Safeway grocery store and several restaurants, the Snowcap Lodge. Even in snowy, cold mountain weather, the indoor pool is warm and inviting. This hotel is super!

Nothing worse then paying for the "upgrade" to the soaking tub room and finding pubic hairs all over it and have it greasy and oily. Yuck. Seriously...yuck. Mattress was old, no support. Carpet stained. Room was small. Upgraded to try and relax alittle but....yuck.

Just needed a place to sleep and then get back on the road, Made a bad choice. Break fast was not ready when it was supposed to be, The young man that was on the night shift didn't really care that we were there or not. I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns very happy with most but service here was not good.

The layout of the room was really good Lots of counter space, and the lighting was good. Many hotel rooms are so dark and under lighted. Also, the bathroom was well ventilated and properly lighted with a good shower. I do not like the scented shower jells they supply at most if not all Best Western hotels. A good bar of soap with out a lot of perfume would be better and a little bottle of shampoo. I was impressed with the size and quality of the TV. We normally only watch the news, but it is a step up from other hotels we have stayed at. As for the breakfast, it was a lot better than most places we have stayed at considering that you don't have a full kitchen. Also, very good coffee and that is important to the average traveler. Over all, it was a good stay. the only problem was no elevator to the second floor which is a big problem for older people. it's a tough climb with luggage. Oh yes, adequate parking but no enough lighting outside and in the back.

The room was really nice, the staff that cleans the rooms were nice but the receptionists were not friendly. Also one was smoking right by the front doors and even tried to hide his cigarette when we passed. Good spread of hot and cold breakfast. Very good waffles. Shower/tub combo in the King bed room had a shower head from the sealing and a regular one from the wall. Other than the grumpy receptionists our stay was good.

I travel for a living and try and stay at BW when I can. I really enjoyed this location. Comfortable bed great pillows. And I loved the shower, had two shower heads one straight down and the other off the wall like all others. Nice deep tub and very clean. I'm going to give this hotel a very high mark because it is lower than average prices and all the above. Great location as well. Ellensburg is always booked, stay here it's a better hotel any ways.

I arrived very early in the day (hours prior to check-in), and was completely exhausted. I was greeted by one of the staff at check-in who was very friendly and strived to accommodate my request for an early check-in. Although the hotel was at maximum capacity, she was able to accommodate us with an early check-in, which was really a life saver. The room was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I did struggle having a good Wi-Fi connection-- seemed to keep dropping, and the room was not well set-up with lighting at a vanity. Would definitely recommend to others traveling in the area.

After some reviews I read I expected to be a bit let down--but the room was very spacious (a suite), and everything was clean and up-to-date. The bed was really comfy, and although the property is close to the Interstate it was quiet. Excellent room.

The Good: The Best Western Brand has upped their game in recent years and this location is a good example of it. Very spacious rooms, clean, and well maintained facility. The pool and hot tub, although small, was a nice touch and welcome relief after 4 days out on the trails in the area. The breakfast is the standard "free breakfast" meal that many hotels in this class of service offer these days. Nothing spectacular, but the juice and coffee are fine. I never understand why these establishments cannot find a good egg product to offer that at least pretends to be real. The Bad: The biggest disappointment was the staff. We discovered our TV was not operating and upon contacting the front desk we were met with with a very unsympathetic "Sorry about that." Wow, that's the best you can say? No maintenance staff on site to help with the issue. When I asked how they were going to compensate me for not having a pretty important component of a room operational the desk person offered the "Manager's Special" price, which was a whopping 10% discount. So, I guess if you want to pay the "Manager's Special" price don't expect your TV to work. If I wanted something better (which I did) I had to speak to the manager in the morning. Well, the manager wasn't around in the morning so that didn't work. In the end we did get another 10% taken off but it was like pulling teeth to get it and the "manager" was unapologetic. It's not the amount of the discount as much as the way it was handled that was disappointing. A good stay tainted by bad customer service.

We are seniors and we are up early and on the road early. We also like to stop early. As a result of this, when I book a Hotel/Motel, I always request an early check-in. I do realize this does not guarantee you an early room, but generally, they try to accommodate. We stay at B/W almost exclusively when travel in Can. or USA. We arrived at Che Elum around 1:00 p.m. When I went to check-in at the front desk I was told check-in was 4:00 p.m. I said you don't have nothing? She replied No! She than said come back at 3:00 maybe then. I the mentioned I had early check-in request, and she said, come back at 3, and it;s first come first served. We are travelling that way more often and thought this was a great time fo day to stop. WE won't be stopping there anymore. Shows the importance of first impressions. Other than that the hotel was great. The rooms were nice, and they were clean. No problem with anything else. But that was enough for us? Most B/W try hard to accommodate our early arrival, and by early, I mean after 12 noon.

The room was extraordinary but I have mobility problems, and they did not honor my request on the website for a first floor room. Instead I was put up on the second floor, and had to navigate stairs with a new knee while trying to pack my luggage laptop, etc. up the stairs. Thanks to Christ who was extraordinarily helpful and made sure I did not carry my luggage back down to car. Hotel has no elevator and bottom floor was packed with people working on the Snoqualmie Pass. If you havemobility problems. make sure they honor your first floor reservation on the web site and at the Cle Elum Hotel

We stayed at the BW Snowcap Lodge the night before a backpacking trip and we very pleased. The hotel does not have an elevator, and we had our big packs, so it was nice that the front desk asked us if we would like a room on the first floor. We had a king room with a separate sitting area. Everything was in good condition and well maintained. No complaints at all! There are a few things that we especially appreciated. In the sitting area was a mini fridge and microwave. There is a Safeway next door, so we got a few last minute food items and were able to store them properly. Also, there is a dark towel as well as an individual makeup remover wipe provided. I usually bring my own so I don't mess up hotels white towels, so this was nice that they had thought of that. They also provide a ziplock bag of older towels that are for your use to clean up gear etc. In an area full of outdoor adventure, this was an especially nice touch! As for the basics, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of outlets and lighting, huge vanity area separate from the bathroom, comfortable couch, ac worked well, and carpet etc were clean.

The hotel itself was very average. Nothing extra special. The customer service upon check in was pretty much none existent. She basically kept her head down and checked us in quietly with no engagement of conversation. Seemed she was not happy to be at work that day. The room itself was comfortable and quiet.

We were there for only one night and arrived late at that, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but we were impressed. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. and it tasted pretty fresh. Everyone seems to mention the Safeway. We did need a couple of things and its a short walk across the parking lot which is convenient. We would stay here again.

Room was on the 2nd floor, easy access to the parking lot, room was at the end of the hallway, very quiet, nice-sized tub/shower. Conveniently located right next to a grocery store, with gas stations and coffee shops, a mile or two down the road. Staff was nice. Biggest complaint was that someone seemed to be smoking in the room downstairs from us late at night, and the smell started to come into our bathroom. Closed the bathroom door overnight, which helped and then aired out the room in the morning. Told the staff in the morning, who had apparently heard more than 1 complaint about that person smoking inside their room/smell of smoke, so they were very apologetic but not a lot they could do. Despite this inconvenience (second hand smoke triggers my asthma), if I need to stay in the area again, I would feel comfortable staying here.

room was on the first floor, easy access, problem with sink, staff was responsive but could not fix it, building appeared to be in good repair but was nothing special,location was good but this is a small town with not a lot of distance to cover.

This was a very nice hotel at a convenient location. Nice rooms. I will plan to stop there again on trips East now that I know how to find it (everybody around there describes it as "next to Safeway". The process of completing this review, however seems to go on too long.

I can't rave enough about this hotel. I didn't want to leave!!! It's comfortable and so clean. I just wanted to hang out in the hotel room and enjoy the quiet instead of continuing on my trip. Also, it's locatetion near restaurants and a grocery store was an additional plus.

Not really the Ritz, but compared to every other hotel in this town, it's very nice. I've stayed in just about every hotel in Cle Elum and finally had the opportunity to stay at this property. It books early and can be difficult to find a room and now I understand why. It's modern (rare for Cle Elum), new(er), has a beautiful indoor pool, cardio workout room, and gigantic guest rooms. Complimentary wifi, chilled bottled water and fresh baked cookies for all guests. My king room with a suite/sitting area had a sink/wet bar, mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom floor and tub/shower were marble. The sofa was leather. It was quiet, clean, beyond comfortable and not that much more money than other hotels in the area. Breakfast was a little better than the standard carb fest that most hotels offer. Pre-made omelettes and sausage were part of the small buffet. The only thing to note for travelers who may need an elevator is they do not have one. Stairs only, so request a first floor room if that's an issue.

Lodge well maintained inside and out - many extras such as large shower, dispensable shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, stainless steel coffee pot, microwave with glass top, nice living area, comfortable bed - room was quiet as well. Staff was courteous and helpful and breakfast was great.

We always stay here on our way from Spokane back to the Puget Sound. The next morning we go to Owens Meat Market just down the road on the main street. Their sausage and jerky is the best. The BW is in a nice setting, quiet and staff very friendly. Highly recommend it.

Our group had booked 6 different rooms back in January for a wedding in the area. We all arrived at different times and days. We all arrived earlier than check-in time stated to be 4PM. That is an hour later than hotels I have visited. We found the front desk team quite rigid and not very friendly or compassionate only repeating hotel policy. Rooms come available as they are cleaned, not all at 4PM. All of our group independently said they had a similar front desk experience. One sat in the lobby after this experience and saw another customer arrive and were issued a room. When the front desk was confronted about this they were told they had priority because of a wedding. Well we were part of another wedding but got no such priority. Based on this experience I will use a different hotel when staying in Cle Elum, WA. This was nothing like other Best Western stays in other locations which had always been favorable. That was the reason why we picked this hotel in Cle Elum, WA.

The gentlemen at the front desk gave us an incredibly hard time when we when to get food to go prior to the 6:30 AM breakfast start. A majority of business folks are up and on the road prior to 6:30 AM and having no breakfast after spending over $100 per night in unacceptable. I hope the owner gets this fixed - we'll see.

Very nice hotel, with large rooms. Very clean. No elevator, no view. Comfortable, and a fairly new hotel. Wifi was pretty good and parking was good with no charge. Plenty of places to eat close by, with a Safeway across the parking lot.

Good clean place to stay. Quiet and the hot breakfast nice. Would recommend staying at this hotel. The tv was strange, the speakers were in the back of the screen and the volume had to be adjusted fairly high to here the program.

This is a nice motel, but there have been some changes in staff and the overall service and pleasantness of the stay has declined. Finding HAIR in by breakfast was also not a good way to start the day. I think that is due to the fact the young man at the desk has to also do kitchen duty and was wearing some strange leather looking cap. Nice guy but multitasking at that time of the morning is probably a poor management decision. I like the pool, Hot Tub, the Breakfast is standard, room rates I thought were a bit high for this property.

The only way this hotel could be more convenient to the Washington State Horse Park is if the hotel were IN the park! Literally located across the street, it's almost as convenient as staying on the grounds, and far more comfortable. This was my second stay. As it was Memorial Day weekend, the suite I had last year was unavailable, so I booked a regular room. My room was still quite spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and linens were fresh. Towels were fluffy and amply provided. I did, however, miss the robe provided with the suite I had last year! Like many mid-range hotels, this property has gone from providing individual toiletries to a wall dispenser in the shower. I think it's tacky, and it's a pet peeve of mine, as there's no way of knowing what is actually in the dispenser - the buttons are simply labeled "shampoo," "body wash," etc. I can't recall if I had breakfast at this property on my last stay, but I did this time. I wish I hadn't. Not only was the selection a notch or two below the average offering at this price point, the "omelet" I selected had a 2.5" long black hair resting on it. I didn't notice until I had already taken a bite - ugh! And I say "omelet," because I wonder whether any eggs were harmed in the making of it - it had a rather unnatural texture and the filling was unidentifiable. Probably, it was a frozen product that had been defrosted and put in the warmer. The sweet rolls offerings featured scones that looked as though they'd make better doorstops than edibles. There was no attendant on duty during the 15 minutes or so I was there, and ALL of the tables were loaded with crumbs, despite there was only one other couple in the room. I had to wipe down a table before sitting down.

Very spacious king room with small sitting area, fridge and microwave. Clean and comfortable. Double shower heads in our room...normal place and one on the ceiling. Indoor pool and jacuzzi spa, although spa jets were not working. Friendly staff.

Enjoyed our single night here. Hotel was very clean and updated. So quiet, I wondered if we were the only people there. Breakfast was typical fake egg omelette and make your own waffles. Sausages were really good for what ever reason. Swimming pool was clean and the kids we saw playing in there were sure enjoying themselves.

We needed a hotel for a 1-night stay in Cle Elum. We were attending a wedding and didn't want to spend $800 staying at the Suncadia Resort with a 2-night minimum stay. The Best Western was very nice for the money. The room was clean and spacious and they have a complimentary breakfast as well. Only complaint was the TV is located at the end of the bed so you can't see if from the sitting area and it's sits so low that you can't actually see it while you're laying in bed. Otherwise it's a good value.

We reserved our room and then had a change of plans, but since we missed the deadline by 2 hours, were told that we couldn't cancel. So while that was irritating, we figured if they were going to charge us, we might as well stay. Check in went easily, guy at the front desk was very nice, though his hair was greasy. The room was nice and while the bed seemed very cushy and comfy it was high and hard for a short person to get on. It was too soft and pillowy and if I got on it, it wanted to roll me back off. My husband and I had a terrible sleep and couldn't wait to get out of there. The breakfast was free and fine, the hot tub felt good but the bed made the visit a negative.

Stopped here for overnight on the way to Glacier National Park. Hotel is beautiful, easy to find and the staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, large and upscale ammenities. Bed and pillows very good. Quiet night followed by a very nice breakfast--good selection of hot and cold items with large breakfast room.

Great place to stay, clean and friendly. Was very late,we were tired and did not want to drive anymore. We were driving west and the two previous towns were all booked, no vacancy. This hotel made us happy.

Lot of miles traveled for work very tired, saw sign for BW, pulled in they had a room treated me great, room was lovely, place was lovely service was lovely. what more can you say, I would go there again. If your smart you too will stay here.

Room was very very clean and spacious. King bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Shower was great. Breakfast was decent and included waffles, sausage, biscuits & gravy, eggs, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal (instant), breads, juices, coffee. Staff went through several times while we were eating to make sure things stayed stocked. We had a room with the large tub for two - and yes - it was truly a large and comfortable soaking tub. If you plan to use that, bring your own bath salts. Even though it was not far from the freeway, we could not hear freeway sounds. Room had an iHome player to attach an iPod to (if you like your own music) - TV had no ability to play DVR. Things to be aware of: It is a two story hotel, but no elevator. If you have mobility issues, make sure that is known when you book so you can get a ground floor. There are no dresser drawers (though we don't usually use them) Room walls are not sound-proof. You can easily hear muffled conversations or walking upstairs.

Breakfast doesn't start till 6:30 or a little after. Most hotels start their breakfast at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. This hotel does not want they working people to stay at the hotel. They know that the working people leave for work early so they serve their breakfast late. Furniture beds carpeting only deserve 3 stars.

Very clean. Rooms are very nice and clean, quiet. Bathrooms are nice, loved the shower. Only thing I don't like is that the sink is separate from the shower. Requested a corner room but did not get it and I don't think my request was given any thought. Hotel was not packed so I would have like my request fulfilled.

Clean rooms, friendly people, but they ran out of bacon, biscuits, and orange juice 45 minutes before the end of breakfast and wouldn't provide more. Having a hearty breakfast was one reason we decided to stay there.

We stayed here on March 26,2016. We were impressed with the cleanliness of bathrooms, rooms, the whole hotel. The evening free snacks, the deep tub in our room, comfortable beds, the awesome verity of breakfast, the clean TV remote! Clear good TV. The location because it is not to far from freeway. Across the street was a gas station and Safe way store. It was just far enough away from regular busy traffic so it was kind of secluded. The front desk employee was very polite and quick to get us set up for our room. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! The price was responsible. Close to 127.00 a night.

We made a reservation at the Best Western Snowcap Lodge during our spring break trip to Washington State. We were not disappointed by our stay. The staff was very nice during check and our entire family enjoyed our room. We will stay here again and would recommend it to those seeking a quiet night in a clean and comfortable room.

This was my second time staying here. Rooms are clean and comfy as are the beds. Staff is friendly and nice. Breakfast is good and you get a real breakfast not just muffins and pastries. The pool was a lot of fun as well. The only problem was the hot tub. It smelled too strong from chlorine and it was dirty looking. The grout and tub was in serious need of some elbow grease. Hopefully that will be cleaned up next time we stay. I would definitely recommend this place though and will stay again.

This is our second time staying at the Snowcap Lodge. Once again our expectations were met. The front desk staff were friendly, informative, and accommodating just like our first stay here. We inquired about a good place to eat and the gentleman recommended the Cottage Cafe (the meatloaf was delicious). The breakfast was well stocked, and the gentleman staffing it was very friendly as well. Our room with one King bed was very clean (A HUGE PLUS), and very comfortable. We will continue staying at Best Western Snowcap Lodge whenever we travel to Cle Elum.

This hotel is a lovely find. I loved the TWO shower heads in the shower, the spacious rooms and the amazing package they have that includes two lift tickets to Snoqualmie! We will definitely stay there again! The staff is helpful and very accommodating and Cle Elum is a cute little town.

I spend every visit to Cle Elum at the best western because the beds and pillows are to die for. I would love to buy the pillows for my home. My sister come to visit our Mom and share a room about 6 times a year. I sleep better at this facility than I do at home.

We booked for 2 tonights at BW Snowcap Lodge. The Room are Spacious and Clean. As my Opinion Room Service taking their pride to do their work. Small amenity like fridge/microwave/coffee maker/tea/breakfast included are added to the stay. Staff of Room Service are Friendly and So does Receptionist from the front. Hopefully when we come back to Cle Elum BW Snowcap will be more Service Competitive like other hotel we stayed. Traveling around the world make you wonder why other hotels is busy and clientele keep coming back.

I have stayed at some best westerns that are not too great but this one was fantastic! The breakfast is so HUGE! I could have just had this all day and would have been just fine for the rest of the day. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will bring my own pillow next time I come here because I am rather particular and these were standard hotel pillows (feather pillows and LOTS of them). We had satellite TV, a microwave, mini fridge and deep tub to soak in after a long day of snowmobiling in Ronald/Roslyn. The location couldn't have been better and staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay again and likely will again next snowmobiling trip.

Two couples traveling. We had a very nice stay at the hotel. Rooms were large, clean, modern. One couple needed a handicap accessible room. When we each booked separately, I asked if we could be near the other couple and on the first floor. They said they would note it but couldn't promise. We were right across the hall. We got the sense that the staff would go the extra step for you. A couple of down side comments, 1) the hot tub is out of commission, check if it's fixed if that's why you are going, 2) no elevator, we were on the first floor so it didn't matter, but know that, if carrying your gear up a flight of stairs is a big deal, 3) breakfast room a bit small, or maybe the tables too large...just a limited number of seats if it's busy. But all of these are not a big deal and to us, the service and nice room (and the evening fresh cookies) certainly made this a good choice.

Bottom Line Up Front - a superb establishment that I highly recommend and would definitely stay at again. I am normally a Hilton chain stayer as I travel a lot for work and value the consistency - particularly when going to a new place - I know what I am going to get for the price I am paying. We needed at least 2 rooms near Roslyn, WA as we were going snowmobiling with our daughter and grand-kids. My wife picked out the Snowcap Lodge and I tell you what, this is a superb establishment. Staff - Very friendly and very responsive to client needs. Every staff member I met or even passed by greeted me and were very helpful, from getting more food at the breakfast when they ran low, needed more towels, or directions. Rooms - Rooms were larger than anticipated. They were fully equipped - refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, satellite flat screen (note, the hairdryer in room 214 was broken). They pretty much thought of everything. There were special towels they called "Rag Bag" that you can use to wipe down your boots or messes without messing up the nice ones. The beds were comfy but the pillows were not so hot, there wasn't much of a choice and were hard. Food - Breakfast - the breakfast was pretty much standard hotel breakfast bar food - waffles, omelettes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, bagels, etc. Nothing super great but better than most. They put out fresh cookies, hot chocolate and cider in the evenings from 6-9pm. There were usually at least 4 types of cookies and they were all good. A nice touch - take the kids to the pool and the old folks eat cookies and drink coco while we watch.... Facilities - heated indoor swimming pool was a little cool for adults but the grand kids didn't seem to mind. The fitness room was well equipped and ready for use. The hot tub was out of commission and would have been a welcome addition. They had pool towels so you did 't have to use your room towels. Nearby/with-in easy walking distance - Safeway is across the street, maybe one minute walk, door to door. Dining super close - McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King, Thai, Mexican. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again if I am in the area!!!

If you stay in Cle Elum, stay here! Even if you are in Ellensburg, it's worth the 20 min drive! Recently remodeled and excellent customer service. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is good. Just across from Safeway, good Mexican place next door.

Very friendly staff! Excellent room! Beautiful and romantic! We booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Leavenworth WA. We are extremely pleased with our beautiful room! It was very private and comfortable. Absolutely huge with a comfortable seating area. We had the king room with tub for two. The tub was in the living room, but on the other side of the room from the bed so that it wasn't uncomfortable. The TV is in between the living room area and the tub so we could watch TV from the tub or the couch. The bed was comfortable with soft and fresh bed sheets and pillows. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at a Best Western soon in the future.

professional staff excellent, despite being short handed by 4 employees, the night auditor moved through all the reservations with rooms available very smoothly, politely and apologetically, judging from my view at the pool, the body language of the guest in the lobby was less than polite and most likely aggravated at best , however the young lady at the desk just kept her smile going on and at last got everyone to their room.

Stayed a night so that we could enjoy the snow activities in Suncadia with a budget. It was a good choice, just about 10 minutes from the resort. My teenage kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub after playing in the snow all day. We should have payed better attention upon checking in when they asked if we preferred a top floor or bottom floor stay... next time, choose top floor if you don't have young kids. If you do have young kids, please choose bottom floor. We had a child above us jumping, running, who-knows-what, then crying before bed up until about 11pm. Then at 6:30/7am, right back at it. The hotel was full of kids, and quite booked so we didn't complain knowing that it's expected and everyone is there to enjoy themselves... so don't expect a quiet stay. Enjoyed the complimentary cookies and warm cider that night. And breakfast was crowded but pretty good for complimentary breakfast. One thing we wish we had an extra blanket or two. Bed was cold feeling like sleeping with two sheets on us.

Reservation person was great - front desk staff was rude and contradicted everything the reservation person told us (check in at 2 when didn't let us in until 4, corporate rate wasn't accepted, etc.) even at 4:10pm, room still had last guest's sheets. Breakfast was completely depleted by 8:30am (goes until 9:30).

12/31/15 I booked this hotel last minute to find some snow for my kids on Christmas break. When you walk into the hotel it smells like warm baked cookies :) (which they put out in the evening with hot apple cider) it's inviting with a burning fireplace by the entrance and a staff that greets you right as you walk through the door, whether they're busy or not. Checking in was a breeze and there were no hidden fees additional to what I reserved online. ( btw you are not charged on your card for booking online until you check in) I got a king suite with king bed and a sofa bed (sleeps 4 but is actually perfect for 3 people) I booked room 127 (first floor is quite, close to everything, and you don't have to deal with stairs, since there is no elevator) the room was spacious, and has a microwave, mini fridge, amazing cable options for tv, and the beds were so comfortable. Free wifi was great, and the pool was perfect with a heated room and hot tub too. The pool goes from 3' to 5' so younger kids can enjoy the pool, In the same parking lot as the hotel is a Safeway, Burger King, Taco Bell, and a great Mexican restaurant called Los Cabos. We went out to eat at Los Cabos which had great food and grabbed room snacks at Safeway. These places are very close and you can walk to them. They have breakfast in the morning from 630-930, I haven't tried it so I can't comment on that part. I called the front desk several times asking for different things, (a cork screw, extra blanket for sofa bed, and info on wifi which takes a few minutes for them to set up) and they were gracious and helped me with a smile :) I usually don't do reviews however I felt like some reviews on here didn't do this hotel justice :)

We came on a last minute trip for the snow and appreciated that although the site showed the hotel was booked, when I called the front desk found me a room. It's close to Suncadia for fun activities and good food. Kids enjoyed indoor pool. Service and room was good. Only complaint was that breakfast left a lot to be desired. We didn't bother with it after the first morning's experience.

Overall stay was good. Only issue was the pillows, they were hard and a little overstuffed so your neck is kind of at a severe angle; woke up with achey necks however it's not like we couldn't bring our own pillows (we're a little diva about our pillows). Other than that, everything else was great!

This BW has no elevator - so be sure to book far enough in advance to get a first floor room if you have difficulty with stairs. The breakfast was below average in both quality and presentation. The bed was comfy and we had a suite for a very good price. The cookies upon evening arrival was a nice touch.

Nice room with free wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Soft and firm pillows on the bed. Morning breakfast if you are an early riser. The pool is not obvious when you walk in the lobby, so you don't feel like you are on display, unlike many hotels. And the pool is always open.

hot tub way too hot (above 104) pool extremely cold. treated rudely when trying to check in, floor mat in bathroom was wet, and knobs missing on air/heater unit. had room right next to outside door so it was loud every time someone came in and out of hotel all night long.Beds were harder than normal. everything else was fine, but it wasn't a great experience or one I want to repeat. I love Best Westerns and will continue to use them in spite of this.

Best Western Hotels can be somewhat dicey at times. Snow Cap Lodge was NOT one of those. Everything was top notch; from the cleanliness to the linens to the customer service. The location is great, too! A supermarket in the same parking lot, McDonalds right next door and an espresso place across the street. And to top it off a **** dining establishment two blocks down the road. What a great date night my husband and I had! Only complaint is the pillows were way too firm. Great for propping myself up in bed to read but not so god to sleep on. We usually travel with our own pillows, didn't this time, but now we know.

Clean, comfortable and spacy rooms. Nice desk for working. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Stay here anytime! Try it out if in the area. Add more words to meet minimum number required to post review.

Not going to rewrite...see past comments. You do NOT have a handicapped room...a big bathroom with chrome bars does not meet ADA standards. Misrepresented space, furniture, and access when making reservation. But the final insult is that the average person/child cannot get in and out of the beds...impossible for am handicapped person. Don't go there

This hotel was very clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled. Nice location with a Safeway store and gas station next door. Also several restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely stay again!

This is probably the best motel in town. The beds and rooms are comfortable. I really like that they provide two bottles of water in the rooms. Sadly they've started providing the same breakfast everyday and that gets really old when you're staying there for four days. The omelettes have a ham based paste inside which gets hard to handle each morning. Message to management: Please vary breakfast menus the way you used to.

Great stay - quiet, nice room. All amenities needed. Front desk staff seemed reserved and one seemed a bit grumpy. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was very clean. Nice location just off highway - didn't hear a lot of road noise even though I was on the highway side which was great.

Nice hotel in a peaceful small town just off I90. Lobby area big, comfortable, and right next to breakfast. Cheerful people, and a quick check-in. Room was clean, with comfortable furniture, good king bed, and bathroom was very nice. Wife really liked the shower head out of the ceiling, nice touch. Toilet, modern quick flush, no drama. Quiet surroundings, and quiet room was suprising ,considering how close to freeway the hotel. Good tip, cheapest gas across the street at Safeway.

This is the Best value in town if you want room to relax. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is breakfast,internet, swimming and exersize. I prefer to stay here when they offer a discount, then price is right for us. It costs more, but breakfast would be a lot for a party of 2 or more, so it isn't a bad price if you use all the amenities. You will find nice people working here and enough coffee to satisfy! We will be sure to stay here in the future, if the price stays at reasonable point.

We often stay at the Sno Cap Lodge. It is the best accommodations in the area & is located close to dining, & a major grocery store within walking distance. We often bring our grandson's, they enjoy swimming & the hearty breakfast.

I stayed here three nights for a golf weekend with a group of friends. The room was very comfortable and clean. The leather couch made it extra good. Friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint would be that breakfast had the same main items - biscuits and gravy and cheese omelettes - every morning. But they were good!

Several of us stayed while attending a wedding at Suncadia. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all attentive. We didn't have any issues while there and everyone was pleased. I would recommend it highly to anyone staying in the area.

A great week-end at a great hotel! The staff were so very helpful and totally customer service oriented. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Fourteen family members stayed and everyone enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was amazing, even fresh cut fruit and fresh waffles...YUM! The guys loved having the great choices for breakfast too.

Overall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. It was clean, updated, and comfortable. The only complaint is that they have a very late check-in time of 4:00. I got there at 2:30. I had to wait nearly an hour for a room. At first they weren't very friendly about it, as in they really had no interest to help, but then as they realized I was just going to sit in the lobby and bug them for internet access (which I couldn't get until check in!) then they worked harder to get me checked in a half an hour before their "official" (and ridiculous) check-in time. They should at least provide internet access before then because I'm sure I'm not the only guest who pops in mid-afternoon expecting their room. Can't comment on breakfast. Didn't even look at it. Was very happy with the room, but the check in time is extreme.

having worked in hotels for many years, in several positions I know how important it is to give the guest a positive first impression...polite, accomodating, problem solving without snippiness..this front desk person was way too young to be in his "manager" position, obviously had no training in how to help a guest without being rude and impolite over a slight issue with early check in..I stay at many hotels, this young man left me with a bad impression of this hotel despite how upscale, clean, and nice it is..was there for a wedding and had driven many days and was tired. Needed to check in early, was met instead with a disdainful, self-important rudeness, and not accomodating. would have changed the entire experience there for me
