"Great Location and nice room"
halbana t, 16 Mars 2020

We stayed here in March for two nights. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located in the city center. There are a lot of restaurants just across the street. The room is relatively newly updated (we stayed in a room called apartment). There is a water boiler with tea and coffee. The minibar has a lot of beverages and beers (need to pay). The bathroom is large and looks modern. There is one elevator for the whole hotel, but the waiting time is reasonable. There is an underground parking (Euro 14 per day), although the space is a little bit tight and the entrance is very narrow. The breakfast selections are good. There is a small exercise room at the top floor. The staffs are very helpful. One of the best hotel in Braunschweig.

"Nice in the city center"
Hans O, 10 Août 2019

Nice hotel and perfectly placed close to the "Kohlmarkt" area. Beds are hard and the AC sometimes sounded like a storm was approaching. Parking fee is quite expensive with 14 Euro per night. Use the public garage in the same block for 6 Euro for 24 hrs instead.

"Great place to stay"
kriden, 03 Juillet 2019

We stayed here for one night. The parking space under the hotel is perfect and not that expensive (ca. 14 euro's). The check in is nice and quickly. The room had enough space but not to big. It was clean and good. The bathroom the same. When we looked out the window we could see the red light district but never heared or seen anything from it. The city is in walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast is fantastic and really complete. It was quiet in the breakfastroom someting we liked. Thank you for our stay in this hotel! If we visit Braunschweig again we will stay here again!!

"Wonderful small inner city hotel"
wolfsbite, 26 Septembre 2018

✔️ not high rise ✔️ friendly reception and breakfast room staff ✔️ best breakfasts we have had, including from 5⭐️ ✔️ Newley renovated rooms My only surprise was that I was expecting a balcony, as promised by Hotels.com - the building has NO balconies. Shows that it's better to book direct! Very happy here and would highly recommend!

"Why no bath?"
YorkshireAviator, 04 Août 2018

We had a top class " apartment" room ,newly furnished with a proper place to put everything, brilliantly lit and with a very powerful air conditioner. Most people would have rated the bed highly- as usual,it was too short for me and lacked an upper sheet. There was a safe,a kettle and a really effective fridge. HALF of the bathroom was perfect, but the other half had a strange wasted space where a bath should be, and just a small shower cubicle.Even this unfriendly device did not work quite properly,as there was no standard hot water supply, but an electric instantaneous heater which could not cope with with full flow. Breakfast was excellent in all respects,in a newly furnished room with staff keeping up supplies. My laundry was done within about four hours.

"Fantastic staff"
JulieDK25, 23 Juillet 2018

We stayed here 9 people and had the best hotel experience! Such a kind and polite staff and super clean rooms. Nice breakfast and PERFECT location! We especially appreciated all the great info as to what to see in the city with kids and where to eat!

"Standard hotel in downtown"
paolo_cocoa, 12 Octobre 2017

Pro. Located in downtown so all sites of interests as well as shopping centers are within walking distance. The food is not bad and the rooms are comfortable. Also it has its own parking. Contra. Nothing special, just a standard service. It may be a little bit noisy in the morning if windows are open. Summary. Good for business trips

"Basic city hotel."
ymff, 24 Mars 2017

Location: In city center a short taxi ride from train station. Several restaurants and supermarket very close to hotel. Getting to hotel: Taxi from train station took 10 minutes and cost 9 euros. Check-In: No wait. Very friendly and efficient check in by Krisztina Torma who quickly answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed. Elevators: Usually fast. Room: Room 318. Smelled clean. Large size. Close to elevator. Bright décor. Basic efficient furnishings. Carpet floor. Desk: Wood topped medium-sized desk. Optical mouse friendly. Desk lamp. European power socket at desk height. Desk Chair: Not adjustable. Comfortable for working. Phones: Phone on desk. Speaker phone. No phone bedside. Internet in Room: Free wireless internet included in room rate. Very slow and often not usable. Room Lighting: Brightly lit. Bedside lamps. Closet: Small closet. Shelf space in closet. Safe: Yes. Large enough for laptop. Additional Seating: Small chair. TV: Medium sized. BBC news one of the few English channels. Windows: Large window. Curtains mostly blocks out sunlight in bedroom. Balcony: No. View from Room: Street in front of hotel. Bathroom: Medium-sized. Shower. Separate tub. No bidet. Well lit. Soap in dispenser only amenity. Adequate water pressure. Hot water immediately available. Non-heated mirror. Magnifying mirror. Shaver power outlet. Noise Level in Room: No noise from adjoining rooms. Some noise from window air conditioner unit when running. Bed: Two twin size. Very firm mattress. Very clean. Room Cleanliness: Well cleaned daily but amenities like tissue paper which was empty and tea not refreshed Air Conditioning/Heating: Very effective at cooling/heating room. Alarm Clock and Wakeup: Wake up calls from reception always on time. Turn Down Service: None. Tea and Coffee in room: Complimentary for first night. Drinking Water: None complimentary. Fridge: A little space in mini-bar. Microwave Oven: No. Room Service: Did not use. Breakfast: Large buffet selection but many items were out by 0900 on first day. Request for a to-go cup for tea was answered by telling me to go downstairs to reception and get a cup. Restaurant: Did not use other than breakfast. Laundry Service: Need to submit the night before to get back the following day. Clothes returned early next morning. Different but a very efficient way to handle this. Iron: Quickly provided by Krisztina when requested. Trouser Press: No. Robe: No. Slippers: No. Umbrella: No. Morning Newspaper at Door: No. Gym: Did not use. Pool: No. Steam Room: Did not see. Sauna: Closed for repairs. Parking: Did not use. Staff: Polite. Friendly. Helpful. Sometimes surprised when asked about things that are normal in business hotels. Check Out: Friendly. No wait. Bill was accurate. Leaving hotel: Short distance to train station.

"Good location and comfortable beds"
kmr100, 24 Juin 2016

Very comfortable beds. Hotel is located right in the centre. Has own car park underground for which you pay. Clean. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Did not have time to try the spa. Staff were friendly.

"Niece, well located and confortable"
Nelson L, 28 Mai 2016

This hotel is very well located, some rooms are very large for European style hotel. The breakfast is very good ant it includes unusual foods such as caviar. Brauschweig is a very iteresting city, the best restaurantes and shopping is within walking distance from the hotel.

"Good location, good value"
Spidey1978, 23 Juillet 2015

I had stayed in the Best Western outside of the city centre previously and didn't think much of it, so when I was booked here I was prepared for a very average hotel. I was totally wrong ! Ban for buck, the hotel is excellent value for an overnight stay. In cases where you just need somewhere clean and comfy to get your head down this is right on target. I can't comment on the breakfast as they were renovating the breakfast area, but they did recommend an excellent bakery less than 5 mins walk away to get some brekkie. As a result of the 'lack' of breakfast we even got a discount on the room. Would I stay here again - Yes I would

"Small but nice rooms, heavenly beds."
Lara P, 18 Juin 2015

By far the best sleep of my trip in Germany I loved the beds and pillows here! The non smoking room was good, didn't small of smoke, however the hallway did seem to smell if stale cigarette. Staff were very friendly and the rooms clean. Loved the breakfast provided as it had a good selection, not just cheese and toast. WiFi was sadly broken in my room but upon telling staff it was fixed the next day (sadly when I left). However I was still able to use it in the foyer where it worked well. No extras in the room like a microwave but it was right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and drinks within walking distance. Wasn't cheap, and I wouldn't stay there again as there are places which are cheaper (if further out of town) in Braunschweig, although if you can afford it, it is lovely.

"Good rooms"
schuminou, 24 Septembre 2014

I got a room for two nights at the last floor. It was really perfect as I really do care of noise... The staff was just ok. Let's say that at my arrival the desk manager was not speaking english so much... Breakfast is nice if you like continental food. As I prefer sweeties I didn't really appreciate. They have dew car parks but car park around are really not expensive.

"City to enjoy the old town"
Racacar, 31 Mars 2014

Superb hotel only few minutes of walking distance from the main city square and famous Dom, XII century cathedral and amazingly long and interesting pedestrian zone. This city will make falling in love with in just a few minutes. Its streets, monuments, squares, great and breathtaking parks...if you stay cold in front of it, it just means you are not a human but drone or android maybe:-)))

"Sorry, but no cigar"
mike980, 23 Octobre 2013

The people who run this place are very nice indeed, but their hotel just doesn't quite cut it. Our room - equipped for the handicapped, for some reason - was smallish and slightly dingy. Minibar but no in-room coffee maker. Bathroom large, breakfast OK and served by helpful, friendly staff. Internet ridiculously primitive and inefficient. Most importantly, our room was burgled and my wife's suitcase stolen. Management was very sorry and gave us a smallish) bottle of wine, but the building's faulty security certainly contributed to the theft. There's one security video, filming the lobby, but the thief could simply have gone down the stairs and exited by the unvideod garage. Need I add that we won't be going back anytime soon?
