Every amenities you can think of. Frim reception. The staff had easter theme nailed for both children and to our surprise adults. Very appreciated. Cold brew coffe extensive breakfast and amazing building full of historic significance. A MUST SEE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. STAFF ARE AWESOME

We always stay here, a good value, a very good complimentary breakfast, they do have a pool ( although outside) a work out room. they are very near Dysart's truck stop, there is a store. restaurant and gas there. We have stayed here many times over the years.

I always stay here because room is always clean, staff is very accommodating and friendly. My daughter goes to UMAINE and this hotel is very good. It is only about 10 minutes away from UMAINE Orono and easy to get to.

Staying here was a great experience. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again. We could not find fault. Rooms cosy and clean. The breakfast was amazing and dining area was immaculate not one crumb or splash anywhere. This would have to be one of the best we have ever experienced and we have stayed at many over the years. Please do not hesitate to stay here and have the breakfast experience.

Absolutely GORGEOUS room/building/facility!!! I went alone for a get away this trip, but was so charmed that I will be returning in Spring 2024 with my fiance for our honeymoon! Everything was clean, I felt safe and secure, friendly staff, easy check-in/out, etc. As a former supervisor for a 5☆ hotel, I can honestly say you won't be disappointed!

This well-appointed inn is delightful. The presidential theme is carried throughout with beautiful wooden headboards, traditional chairs, and wall decor. The reception desk is also a bar with pizzas for sale. Breakfast includes pastries from a local bakery.

From the moment you step in the door you're going to enjoy White House Inn. You will be treated like they were wait for you to show up. Like a Family waiting for you to show for the Holidays. The lobby and the rooms have a colonial decor, and I'll bet it's even better decorated for the Holidays. Your every need will be attended to with a smile. Fantastic Job White House Inn

The hotel has a unique presidential motif. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was well above average with a good selection of items and constantly refreshed and the area was well maintained. One of the best BW I have stayed at.

Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. Quiet location. Only downside was having to drive a bit to find places to eat out. The front desk helpfully recommended a pizza place (which was unfortunately was closed, but we found another nearby that was fabulous)

OK, well maybe not quite, but it was a great overnight stay. Decor, as you might expect by the name, is presidential themed, a bit kitchy but at least it's a little unique. It's located right off I95, conveniently next to Dysart's truck stop and restaurant. What we liked best is the variety of room choices; ours had 3 queen beds, which is perfect for a family to spread out. There's also an outdoor pool, and a great large indoor hot tub (almost the size of a small pool). The breakfast is standard "free chain hotel" style; lots of choices but nothing really tasted that great. Hey, free is free (or should I say, included in the room rate). The front desk staff will also serve you beer, wine, or a cocktail, and there is 24/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cappuccino. It was a great halfway stop on our trip to Prince Edward Island.

Love this place and enjoy the hot tub after moving my daughter into college! She enjoys coming to visit here and the breakfast! It is close to U Maine and right off the highway. I have stayed on all the floors and love the feel and decor of this hotel. Staff are genuine, knowledgeable, and caring! Can't wait to visit in October!

The hotel was beautiful, the decor was awesome! Easy to find, right off the highway. Easy drive to area restaurants. The Sauna was amazing! Breakfast was excellent, had a great layout! Highly recommend!

Cute place. Nice room. Fun hot tub. Breakfast was pretty good too, though they started packing it up a few minutes early. Price was pretty high, but apparently there was a concert in the area increasing demand that night. We could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around pretty clearly.

This has got to be the hotel in the greater Bangor area. It is friendly, the breakfast is super and it is run by the best manager I have ever known. If you get the chance, stay here. Our room was super clean and the hotel staff answered any questions and requests quickly.

This was the most comfortable and spotless hotel I've stayed at. It was an unexpected gem! The owners have done a great job keeping their property well-maintained and clean, from the lobby to the hot tub to the rooms we stayed in. They upgraded us so that my older parents would have grab bars in their shower (which my mom truly appreciated). The rooms were spacious with well-though out details like electrical outlet/USB plugs mounted on the desktop and bedside table top for easy access. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was the cleanest I've ever experienced in a hotel. I was concerned when booking about the proximity of the hotel to I-95 that there might be highway noise but I didn't hear a car or truck all night. The complimentary breakfast was good - eggs, pancakes, waffles, bagels, homemade breakfast breads, cereal...something for everyone. My family gives the Best Western White House Hotel our top rating and will definitely stay here again on our next trip through Bangor.

We stayed 1 night while on a road trip. Very comfortable room. Only complaint, shower has no pressure. Huge breakfast, they offered everything. Alcohol and light menu for purchase. Pool and hot tub. Nice dog walk area. Special parking for veterans, military, police, fire. Decor was Presidential theme. Recommend.

As part of our bus tour we stayed here twice, once on the way to our destination and once on the return trip. The setting is similar to the White House and the hotel is loaded with memorabilia. Rooms are spacious with vintage furniture. Comfy beds with fresh linens and soft pillows. Bathrooms are laid out differently but still provided with fresh fluffy towels. Location is off main highway with only a nearby eatery. On the return trip the bus took us into the next town for a few more choices. Breakfast buffet is plentiful

Exceptionally Clean hotel throughout (including the parking and grounds). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the dog path that was mowed into the field giving so much more than a small green space for potty. Since we were not in town for a specific event, location had nothing to do with our stay but it was extremely easy to get to.

Ive been a loyal customer of White Horse Inn every summer for many years, but as the price has gone up and some aspects have been taken away, I may reconsider. It's clean, safe, wholesome and convenient and the staff is very nice. However I am an athlete and during competitions need to be at the venue by 7 AM so the new time change for breakfast is not working for me. I used to be able to grab a quick bite before leaving the hotel but now everything is closed when I have to leave. Not acceptable.

the room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was opened and refreshing after shopping all day in the heat. The hot tub was great. The 2 breakfasts we had were scrumptious and the hotel personnel were helpful and courteous.

I book this room for 3 adults to bring my daughter to UMaine. Room was great, Staff friendly, easy check in and out. Had no issues and would recommend this hotel. I will be staying there again when I visit her.

Came to visit my daughter at a local college and attend a dance show. Love this hotel for the jacuzzi and breakfast. Homey feel, close to attractions and anything you need. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and eagar to help in anyway!

We stayed 3 nights in a skylight/fireplace room. Our previous stay was better in comparison yet the stat was nice . We experienced a few cons. The fireplace worked yet did not emit hot air; the blower may have been broken. The flooring was weak which shook items when we walked on it. The room smelled like a pet had stayed in that room. Also the hotel smelled like that in the game room. Guests should be able to stay in non-pet friendly rooms or at least, better deodorizing efforts.

Have been staying here for 15+ Years. Chris and Beth and staff treat you like Family. The rooms are clean and had no surprises over the years. Easy on and off 95 and one of the beast eateries next door for lunch or dinner. Will be back when in the area. Great Hot Breakfast to start your day.

this hotel is a superb location just outside Bangor Maine off the I-95 Décor is very interesting and everything related to the White House The Hotel staff is friendly, room very clean , bed comfortable with good pillows and well supplied. also has two wingback chairs and two luggage racks, unusual and very welcome to travelers. Breakfast was included and had a wonderful selection of hot and cold food.. The breakfast room is really bright and airy, great way to start your day.

We are surprised to get 3rd floor very unique room with modern design. Room is new and very clean. Very good hot breakfast. Very nice people to help in front desk and breakfast room. Exercise room is very nice too.

I never write reviews however..I would not recommend this hotel. I paid with cash upon arrival and then gave a credit card (not debit) for them to have on file. I was told that would not be charged. I realized the next day that the entire amount was charged to my card. I complained and was given numerous excuses including “look at the sign-we put a hold on the card” I explained that the sign specifically states for DEBIT cards. He had nothing to say to me. I was given no info other than oh it should be gone within 1-2 weeks…I paid in Cash and had actually been planning on using that credit card for the weekend. Very frustrating and I will not be staying at any Best Westerns again. OH-and the shower drain was very very slow to drain.

TV in room did not get first 4 channels clear enough to watch( ABC,NBC,CBS). Water temp in shower fluctuated back and forth between almost scalding to luke warm. Room pricing on first night was $323 because of concert in Bangor, which I was told was set by the management firm that handles room pricing and was based on supply and demand and could not be adjusted. 3 days later, front desk said they would adjust the price of first three nights to $251 each and the 4th night at $195, because they cancelled my reservation #751471645. This action caused me to actually pay more for the 4 nights than if they would of left my reservation alone. Reservation #631600661@$625 and reservation#751471654 @$352 equals $977. After giving me a "discount", I paid $983. Thanks alot BW!

We had a fantastic experience here. It was a last minute booking, as we joined the group late. Anyway, from the reservation CS gentleman, to the check in staff, hot breakfast (included) and all around the premises the staff very nice and welcoming.

Traveling to Bar Harbor we found this hotel to be conveniently located right off I-95 in Bangor. The website photo lends it to be newer looking than it actually is. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the décor was somewhat Puritan traditional. A slight pet smell in the carpet was noticeable. Breakfast served the typical buffet menu, nothing special. Dining area was very clean with hand sanitizer available a at each station. No good close restaurants so we ended up driving 6 miles to Brewer and ate at the High Tide Restaurant & Bar. We enjoyed the lobster roll, Ahi tuna appetizer and blueberry pie with ice cream, all very good.

The outside is rather plain looking, it's when you enter that things change up. I was rather impressed by the carved rich woods. The lobby takes you back to an older time with grand hotels. The rooms didn't disappoint either. Spacious and well appointed. The real crown jewel can be found at breakfast. This is the only place that I have found that serves cheese omelettes in the morning. High points alone on that.

We live in OOB ME and our son lives in Canada, on their way back home we met up with them there. It was an awesome stay. We stayed with a dog, and everything was amazing. The pool, the hot tub, the bed and even breakfast. We know where to go when in Bangor. And convenient location.

We were coming from Cape Cod and stayed at the Best Western on our way to Canada (New Brunswick). We have stayed at many hotels in recent years and this was the best hot breakfast for the money. Many options to choose from, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins. Staff were very friendly. The author, Stephen King's home, that he lived in for 35 years is also not too far away if you are one of his fans.

My gf and I stayed here on a Thursday night when we came up for a concert. The hotel was perfect, not too far from the Venue and the free breakfast was awesome!! We'll deff be back when we need a hotel in Bangor again! They had a really nice outdoor pool and grill set up, that we didn't use but looked great for when we stay longer next time.

The staff were very cordial, and willing to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast had many options from which to choose. Our beds were comfortable, and the housekeeping staff made sure that we had a clean room, with the supplies we needed for our stay.

Room was big. Lots of towels, pillows and the comforter was just the right weight. Big screen TV, safe, closet, refrigerator and lots of coffee choices. Convenient to the freeway. Good buffet breakfast, lots of choices. I'd stay there again. Lobby was attractive and to me that tells a lot about the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Acadia National park. The location is fine if your just going to Acadia for 1 day but if your visiting multiple days it's to far to go back and forth. The hotel is convenient right beside the interstate. The hotel itself is nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.The furnishings were not typical hotel looking furnishing which was nice. The TV was huge , probably 50" -55". The best part for me was our room has a massage chair. I stayed in it almost the entire time I was awake in the room. It was awesome ! ! I've never stayed in a hotel room with a massage chair. The hotel is a little older as you can tell and the mattress was at the end of it's life. If I ever visit Bangor Maine again I'll stay at the best western white house inn.

First visit to see family in Maine since Covid. The hotel was well located right off the HI way and made it easy to visit family in Bangor and Cherryfield. We went to Perry's Nut house in Belfast and it was easy to find from this location.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life, but I can honestly say that this is the best hotel that I've ever stayed at. The hotel was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. You can tell that the housekeeping takes pride in their job, because they are good at it. Every staff member that I encountered was great! They were all professional and seemed like they wanted to help you no matter what you were approaching them about. I didn't know until I got to the hotel that they decorative theme was a colonial, presidential, Americana theme, which my family and I absolutely LOVED!!! We had room 225 and it was HUGE. It had 2 king size beds in it and could have very easily fit a 3rd. The room had a gas fireplace, which we used the first night when the weather was in the 40's. The hotel was almost like a maze, which was actually fun to maneuver around and to me, made the hotel a lot more private and we never heard a peep out of any other guest that were staying nearby. There is a "library" in the hotel which provided a lot of games, like checkers, chess and tic tac toe, that helped occupy a lot of time for my kids and they loved it! The weather was too cold to enjoy the outdoor pool, but the spa/ hot tub was really big, so we all enjoyed that every day we were there. I really wish that all Best Western's would model their hotels after this one and we would all be a lot better off. I wish Bangor, Maine wasn't so far away, because I would choose this hotel every time I had to stay or visit there!

Right off the I95, very convenient. Friendly helpful staff and a very well maintained property and hotel. Has an outdoor pool and unique indoor hot tub. This hotel has the largest and best complimentary breakfast options for its guests. Have stayed here a number of times because of its excellence.

We only stayed one night, but it was great! Very pleasant staff. The room we had was very clean and pretty quiet for an almost full hotel. We would definitely stay there again!! We will also tell everyone we know about our stay!!

Have been staying at The White House for 20 years. Always a great stay. Have never had a bad stay. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Clean rooms always. Grounds are kept nice, great pool area. Close to everything but yet very quite so you can get a good sleep. It's like home away form home.

We were in Bangor for our son's college graduation. Hotel is approx. 20 minutes south of the University of Maine- Orono. Had a wonderful stay- clean rooms, full hot breakfast buffet with great variety of foods, friendly staff, and pet friendly with a great walking path next to the hotel. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Please find a way to allow early waking guests a chance to get coffee, juice, etc from the breakfast area that need to leave early for work. The kitchen staff gave me the "look of death", as I got my morning coffee and a piece of toast, 20 minutes before they "officially" opened.

Low quality for the price of the room, rude staff, and then was accused of smoking in the room and charged for it when I did not so much smoke my vape in my room. Will never stay at or recommend a best western again

Squeaky clean room, good price, and free breakfast!! Room was quiet, and comfortable. Parking was near our room. We always feel safe here, and are treated like family, or even better. Only place we stay in the area and have stayed here for years. You will see us again soon.

I loved the experience my partner and I had there we got one of the themed rooms for one night and it was the perfect relaxation definitely would recommend. They are also very friendly. Very clean. Overall would go again

A very quaint hotel, the rooms were outdated but very clean and comfortable. I would stay again if ever in the area. I do feel the breakfast should have been served longer or have a grab and go until check out time on weekends

I've been a traveling salesman for 13 years and stay at hotel 200 nights a year. This is my absolute favorite place to stay! Every person that works here is incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is richly appointed with Presidential memorabilia, along with sitting areas, a huge hot tub, solid fitness center, and outside pool. They offer the best breakfast in all of the Northeast with everything from eggs and meats to waffles, along with tons of other items like fried potatoes and fruit. The rooms are large, impeccably clean, super comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms.

Nice place, clean and well maintained, The staff members were great, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. My partner developed an abscessed tooth and the staff directed us to urgent care. Although a great place with a super staff it is pricey. We are on a road trip that started on 9-18 and if we weren't trying to stay at Best Westerns I doubt we would have stayed there, because of the price.

Great location while visiting family and touring in the Bangor area. We were three sisters sharing a room and the space and furnishings worked well/met our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was our first stay at Best Western White House Inn. We chose the Captain theme room and it was more than we expected. The whirlpool and massage chair leave you so relaxed you don't want to leave. The decor is very elegant. The breakfast room was amazing with its outstanding variety of foods. The room lacked a hair dryer (one was supplied when I asked the front desk), there was a shortage on towels and the second day we had one washcloth, one bathmat, and one towel each. The coffee station has minimum coffee pods (there were two decaf and one regular for the two of us) and no creamer. They could put actual creamer in the rooms when they know guests will be there and have a better variety of coffee pods. The shower stall is slippery when soapy so be careful (bath mats would help this problem) and extra towels and bath mats for the whirlpool would be great. Given the elegance of the theme rooms and the price the hotel could make an extra effort in small things to ensure an amazing stay.

Not your usual cookie cutter motel. Rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Hallways themed to White House. Reading room with books to borrow available. But the best is the food. Full selection of hot and cold food.

The room was adequate and clean. The air conditioning had a sour smell, but otherwise it was a good room and the breakfast was fantastic. The price we paid, however, was too high for the room. Must have been the weekend and late booking.

Our recent stay at the Best Western White House Inn was relaxing and wonderful. The amenities in the room were much more than we had expected, and the staff were helpful and friendly. While breakfast selections were more limited due to Covid, if anyone left hungry, it was his/her own fault.

Very nice hotel just off of the interstate but with very little traffic noise. Interesting presidential decor, clean and neat and very nice staff. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Very nice room with mini refrigerator and coffee maker with supplied pod. Breakfast has been reopened and the selections were varied and was quite good. Hot water was quick and plenty. Very accommodating staff. Also featured a heated pool and hot tub that we did not use.

My family and I love this hotel! It's decor is beautiful inside and out. It definitely has a classy feel. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. The walls weren't thin either. There wasn't any noise from the hall or neighboring rooms. I slept great! I would highly recommend staying here!

The best of the Best Western chain. When in Bangor we always stay at this Best Western, If in Bangor, do not pass up the opportunity to stay at this property. It just does not get any better than this.

The hotel is an older building but very well kept. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly. We didn't use it but there was a heated pool. The presidential theme is clear everywhere you are and had interesting information if you choose to check it out. The bed was comfortable. The TV service is not HD quality but that's not a big deal. There is highway traffic which is to be expected based on the location but nothing that kept us awake. There is a sitting area with a chess board table and a book swap shelf. The lounge is not open right now but you can order pizza and drinks through the front desk. The pizzas are apparently made daily on site so there are a limited amount. The breakfast is the best buffet breakfast I have seen. Scrambled eggs, blueberry stuffed pancakes, french toast fingers, eggs, bacon, pastries from a local shop, fruit, oatmeal, and prepackaged items like granola bars. You cannot eat in right now so they have containers with covers so you can more easily carry things back to your room. We would definitely stay again.

We had a reservation through booking.com and when we got there after a long day of driving with 4 little kids, the front desk said they didn't have any booking from booking.com. I showed her my confirmation email but she said she'd already sold our room. When we called booking.com, they said the reservation had been sent through, confirmed and active and that the manager at this Best Western said they received the email of the booking but the front desk doesn't have access to the managers emails so she had already sold out our room that we had booked. There were no other hotels nearby that had room for our family of 6 and so we had to drive hours back home. It was unbelievably frustrating that the only size room that would fit our family (that we had booked weeks in advance) was already given away. Will not attempt to stay here again.

We have stayed here for the last 20 years. Would not stay anywhere else, The staff is awesome all the time. They always make you feel at home. Always clean rooms and the beds are the best. The Best Western White House Inn is located outside of Bangor with a historical theme centered around the presidents and our nation's history. We enjoyed looking at all of the pictures and decorations. Staff was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable in the 6 nights we were there. The grab and go options and the efforts made for breakfast are unmatched in hotels we have stayed at during COVID. The indoor spa was very large and enjoyed the small water fall coming into the spa. Thanks very much for a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay and loved that it was close to Acadia National Park and other things to do. The two nights we stayed were quiet and peaceful even with other guests there. We didn't utilize most of the amenities as we were sightseeing in the area. Very dog friendly. A really nice restaurant is right next door. We would recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately I was not happy with my stay here, I was there for two nights and my room was not serviced during my stay, no trash empty, no clean towels, no beds made absolutely nothing was done. Housekeepers were in the halls but did not come into my room, I was out of the room from 7:15 am until around 2 pm. Ok

I have stayed at almost every hotel in the area, and none are better than the White House Best Western! Gorgeous grounds and aesthetics, richly appointed lobby and breakfast room, phenomenal friendly helpful staff, large rooms, immaculately clean, well-furnished, and ultra-soft bed and pillows. Located perfectly off the highway, so travel is easy everywhere in the area. And under Covid rules, they have continued to provide a VERY LARGE BREAKFAST ARRAY, an open pool, and functioning gym.

What a unique hotel! We loved it! So many tasty breakfast choices! Eggs and baked goods and much more! Hot tub was open and that was very nice. Our room was incredibly clean! We enjoyed reading all the facts about the First Ladies.

We got the President's Suite...beautifully appointed room with fireplace, well appointed; great amenities, spacious; great hot tub; well worth my hotel dollar. Perfect location in proximity to Bangor International airport.

The staff, clean rooms, and Dysart's truck stop and restaurant next door make This hotel one of our favorites. This time we were on the third floor, with a skylight rather than a window. The "First Ladies" floor, with interesting information and portraits of the first ladies. One looked surprisingly young and thin. The room and linens were clean. Due to covigeddon, breakfast was limited but there were four varieties of "egg bites" in either muffin shape or patty shape and some food items. Dysart's next door serves good food. Pool closed and hot tub open. Laundry machines available as usual, taking turns with other guests. Dysart's has more machines, higher priced, and I don't know if one must be a truck driver to use them. I didn't understand that the front desk instructions to ask for housekeeping meant we should ignore the sign in the room about room being refreshed daily. (Currently the housekeepers WILL take away trash and used towels if guests bag them and set outside the room door, and front desk will provide fresh towels if you go there and ask, but front desk cannot receive used laundry.) To help the hotel stay open during covigeddon, if you want anything done in the room, you have to ask the front desk and cannot be in the room when housekeeping comes by. Housekeeping will try to accommodate guest schedules. Housekeeping staff are very helpful.I The bed seemed uncomfortable this time.

Due to the good reviews we gave this place a try. Ick! It's an old '70s motel with ancient carpeting and decorations. Ant traps everywhere, musty smelling. We got an attic room with no window. Fun times! The smoke alarm looked like it was one of the first models ever made, most certainly didn't work. A disgusting place to stay, needing renovations very, very badly. Mediocre breakfast, we paid $100 and wow did we overpay. Just because an old motel is white doesn't make it a "White House". Beware

We stayed here for one night and were well rested. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to most local attractions. I was impressed by the grab and go breakfast. It contained hot dishes, cereal, yogurt, pastries, fruit juices and coffee. Staff were continually replacing items.

Mo, the front desk clerk was so nice! Dysart's, a diner truck stop known for their home cooked food, was a short walk across the parking lot. Would definitely stay there again!

Oh my goodness, Best Western White House Inn is honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in! We stayed here from June 17, 2020 until June 28, 2020, and for the first two nights we stayed in a second floor room, which was nice. We then upgraded, with the help of the very nice manager, to the Maine Lodge Suite on the third floor. And it's gorgeous! The hotel has a delicious breakfast. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic requiring some restrictions, such as a grab and go breakfast, the hotel still manages to offer hot food, pastries, cereal, fruit, milk, yogurt, and coffee. Exercise room, whirlpool, and outdoor pool are beautiful!! Everything about the hotel is just perfect. I will be booking stays as frequently as I can!

This hotel was lovely and the persons working friendly. They suggested sites to see related to Stephen King movies that were filmed in Bangor. The breakfast was grab 'n go due to COVID-19, but the breakfast burrito was delish with spicy chorizo in it. It is also next door to Dysart's Truck Stop - and Truck Stop food is the BEST!!!! PLEASE NOTE:We were not told on check-in that maid service had to be requested. It wasn't until day 3 when room trash was overflowing and we needed towels that we found out, when we went to the front desk to ask for towels and find out why our room had never been done up. Other than that we plan on returning again for another mini-vacation at this Best Western property.

Very striking hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby, which extended to the rooms as well. The rooms had a genuine warm feeling to them. Clean and fully supplied with all the essentials. Our room had a nice gas fireplace to add to the charm.

Excellent stopover on return trip from Florida. Enjoy our stay every year , even with corona concerns this year. Staff always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again. Our #1 pick in the Bangor area.

Due to Covid19, we had to return to Canada quickly from Florida. This hotel was close to the interstate, check in as quick with minimal interaction allowing us to keep a distance between ourselves and the desk clerk, and everyone was very effective. The room was well presented and large. We are BW members and they gave us an upgrade to a fireplace room. Made a very stressful day less stressful. There is a truck stop restaurant next door and other restaurants about a mile or someway. We did pizza delivery.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night and enjoyed everything about our brief stay. From the friendly staff to our room to the photos & interesting tidbit about each president to the special parking spot for veterans to the absolutely delicious breakfast and large, bright breakfast area. We liked the historic feeling and dark wood and finishes throughout. I'm still amazed at the variety of breakfast items and how well laid out everything was. Our only thought was to have more room at a couple of the places to put your plate while serving yourself. Having such a large breakfast area with so much natural light is something you don't see as often as you might like when traveling. Be sure to stay here if you're in the area!

We have visited there a several occasions and have had a great experience each time. A helpful and personable staff has made out time there well worth it. Breakfast is plentiful and served in a clean dining area and good staffing. We can recommend it highly.

The lodge room was gorgeous, spacious, and incredibly clean. The pictures online don't do it justice at all. The staff was professional, friendly, and the person at check-in seemed very proud of the inn, and for good reason. If you want to treat yourself, this is the way to go.

This place is great. I really enjoyed the uniquely adorned rooms and common areas. And the breakfast was fantastic. As a vegan I was able to have a variety of things (almond milk in the fridge!!) PLUS the staff were all so friendly and seemed like they enjoyed their work. Will stay again!

Overall experience was amazing! Rooms were very clean and everyone was soo friendly and very willing to help. Will definitely be going back to stay! Went down to the lounge and the bar tenders were wonderful. Housekeeping made sure that you had everything that you needed and made sure to check in with you to see if you needed anything at all during your stay. It is so close to Bangor and shopping centers.

This is an extremely beautiful hotel. I've always admired it from the interstate as I traveled down state. This was my first time staying. The interior is absolutely amazing. My room was very pretty, clean and just overall one of the nicer places i've stayed. The few staff I encountered were exceptional and in hindsight I wish I had tried the breakfast, it smelled amazing!

My husband and I came here as a weekend away trip, and we will definitely be staying again! Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We were very pleased with our stay!

By far the best breakfast of any hotel I stayed at - and I had 175 stays over the last 11 months. The only drawback is it is right next to a very busy truck stop and you can hear the rumblings of the 18 wheelers if you are a light sleeper. Overall for me not a deal breaker. Great employees, plenty of amenities- very good internet service. I had a TV that was only analog and no NBC sports station so I missed the Bruins game that I planned on watching so I went to the exercise room and it was very clean and functional with a wide selection of equipment. I will stay here again.

The staff was friendly and check in was fast. Nice, clean hotel! They have an awesome, delicious breakfast (best of any Bangor hotel.) Bed was firm and I like soft, but that's a personal preference. Would stay again.

We left Nova Scotia December 30th a day earlier than we had planned. We were trying to avoid a snow storm that was headed our way on our annual trip to Florida. We got into the Best Western White House at about 4pm. We always stay there on our way and way back. It is very comfortable, clean and the breakfast can't be beat, so tasty and so much variety. The snow came anyway and boy did it! So much that we didn't feel comfortable enough to resume our I 95 drive the next day and stayed another night. Well, if you have to be snowed in, the White House is a good place to be. Cozy room with a fire place. Exceptional friendly staff. Nice lounge and lobby with comfy chairs and fireplace. Fantastic breakfast. Dysart's truck stop, general store and restaurant right next door...maybe a 5 minute walk in the snow. They have just about everything you might need. The White House has ample free parking, Spa like hot tub and seasonal pool. Plus you can brush up on US Presidential History. We highly recommend a stay there.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great stay!!! Being a Best western rewards member, I got to spin a prize wheel and spun extra points towards a free night stay. Hot cookies when we checked in , Keurig in room, relaxing stay.

We stayed with our child and puppy for 3 nights in January 2020. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was hot and fresh every morning, the hot tub was relaxing and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The location was great for the places we needed to be in Bangor. Having Dysarts right there was also really nice. It's a solid, nice hotel. Not super fancy and slick in anyway, but clean and comfortable with a good breakfast and friendly staff.

We had never stayed at this particular Best Western, but will return again next time we visit our family in the Bangor area. I first noticed how tastefully appealing were the Christmas decorations upon driving up to the building. When entering the lobby I noticed how nicely appointed it was, with a hearth, stuffed chairs, and really just a very inviting appearance. the room furnishings were noticeably nice, with granite countertops. Breakfast was above average, including gluten free offerings as my wife and daughter have gluten sensitivity. I was pleasantly surprised. They do a nice job at this Best Western. Only drawback is the traffic noise from nearby Interstate 95, but then again it's very easily located from the highway.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices.They are dog friendly and have a great staff. Hotel is clean. We used the spa with a waterfall very nice. We also used the exercise room and that was nice and clean and equipment was all running and in good shape!!!

We stayed at this location for two nights. Our stay was fantastic. Clean rooms, great staff, great hot tub, and best of all was their breakfast. They had a great selection, toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, and many other options. I would definitely recommend.

Best mattress we've had in months at a hotel. This place has unique fun decor, GREAT breakfast and a tiny shopping area. The rooms are big and clean and staff are always helpful and friendly. This was our 5th stay here over past 4 years and we can't wait to come back!

My husband and I frequently visit this Best Western. We always stay in one of the themed suites! Always fantastic, always very pleased! The rooms are amazing with a Jacuzzi tub. The breakfast in the morning is amazing! So much variety, always well maintained by staff! Overall, we always have an excellent experience!

Stayed here on BW points. Location isn't the best, but right off the highway. Good selection for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Beds are super comfy. Lobby & hallways need a bit of updating but hotel is fine.

The hotel was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and they stocked it up. Rooms and hall has presidents themes, which was through the hotel. Rooms were big enough and very quiet.

We had a wonderful relaxing day at this best western. The staff are great, very welcoming, the hotel is spotless, very welcoming. They have coffee, tea etc. available all day, business center, Restaurant that was just a walk away that serves good food.

This hotel has the friendliest staff, hotel cleanliness exceptional, breakfast the best, easy access from the I-95, dog friendly, we rate this one of the best hotels we ever stayed with. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, not a feature you find in most hotels, towels safe and fluffy, beds were home comfort, bedsheets soft and oh so clean. We usually clean things in hotels before we use them in hotel rooms, there was no need here, all was top of the line clean already.

my husband and I stayed here on Oct. 2, 2019. It was our wedding anniversary and decided to stay here for the night. It is a very old hotel and also very hard finding when you get off the highway. It is right behind Dysart's Restaurant. We got there early and the desk person was nice enough to check us in early after our room was cleaned. I asked if a certain restaurant still delivered to this establishment and was given a menu and told yes they do. My husband and I decided to try out their hot tub and our room keys which were supposed to open the door wouldn't work to open the door! the lady at the desk had to do this. The hot tub was ok. Not very clean as there was dirt in all the corners and my husband wanted to use the jets but never figured out how to run them. Our room was very old and our bed was very uncomfortable. There was a microwave in the dresser along with a fridge and a safe. Our room was very hot and we had to run the air conditioner almost the whole stay to keep our room cool. Complimentary breakfast does come with the reservation and that was ok. We tried calling the restaurant we asked about earlier to deliver some food and they told us they didn't do that anymore. We went back to the front desk where a young man was sitting on the counter talking to a girl behind the counter and when we gave back the menu saying they didn't deliver anymore and to let them know he was extremely rude and said that in fact they do still deliver and threw the menu into the corner. When my husband went back to the hot tub himself that same gentleman said he would bring him some towels which he did not do and was nowhere to be found when he came out of the hot tub 45 mins later with no towels! Very unhappy with our first stay here and won't be returning.

Quick stay before leaving out of Bangor Airport which is above a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Didn't get use any of the amenities or have breakfast. Unfortunately I'm a lite sleeper and even with ear plugs I could still hear the traffic from the interstate.

We try every year to take a weekend away without our 4 boys. In a hotel we look for indoor pool, hot tub, ad a jetted tub in the room. The pool here was outside and the heater in it was broke HOWEVER the indoor hot tub off the lobby was the size of a pool and was EVERYTHING we wanted! Not many hotels off jet tubs in the rooms this place went beyond that and gave us not only one that fits two very comfortable but also one right in the main room so we could watch TV and enjoy a drink just the two of us!

From the moment you walk in their beautiful lobby to the moment you drive out of their ample parking lot, the staff ensures you are happy and as comfortable as you are at home! I'm a longtime traveling salesman and stay over 200 nights a year on the road. The White House is on top of my list if favorite hotels throughout New England and New York. Beth, Chris and Moe welcome you and endeavor to make sure you are in the best room for you. There is many places to sit and relax throughout the hotel, and the massive amount of American History everywhere is awesome. I spend a good amount of time just walking the halls and staircases taking in the many items and stories about of Presidents and First Ladies. The outside pool is gorgeous, the rooms big and so well furnished, and the beds are super soft. The hotel is perfect for quiet sleep! Breakfast is HUGE and so is the dining room. The gym has everything you need and I work out 5 days a week. STAY HERE.

I was immediately upgraded to an awesome large room very comfortable. The bed and sheets were soft and warm. The wifi speed was great at over 56Mbs and my firestick worked beautifully on the very large TV.

We stayed here a couple of nights to avoid the crowds and exorbitant room rates while visiting Acadia National Park. It is an older property that has been elegantly updated. The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator, microwave and safe. There is a large living room area with games and tv away from the front lobby and the breakfast puts all others to shame. Eggs, sausage (pork and turkey), bacon, corned beef, pancakes, waffles, fruits, cereal, pastries from a local bakery, and more. An outdoor heated pool is available as well.

My husband and I visited Bangor solely to see where Stephen King lives and to take the Stephen King tour. Upon driving up to the hotel I was a bit nervous as to what we would find inside - it is really in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of truck stops surrounding. Did part of me think we had stumbled into our own King horror story? Yes. However, the hotel is actually pretty good. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and there is a hot tub, pool and free breakfast.

The location is convenient and breakfast was good. However, the hotel is old. Room air conditioner was very loud and there was some type of banging noise that went on for over an hour at 5am. The bar in the basement is odd, especially with the big dog that was down there. If you aren't used to staying in nice new hotels, you will probably think this one is just fine. However, I have to think there are better hotels in Bangor.

This hotel has an old musty smell that hits you the moment you walk into the back section to access the elevator! We stayed in the "newer" section but had a mattress that was 20+ years old...worst night.

Greeted by nice, professional staff and was processed quickly. Room was very clean and decorated comfortably. Very impressed with the breakfast that was available for the guests. There is a selection of meat proteins, eggs, omelets, waffles, cereals, breads etc. Was impressed with the “reserved” parking area for veterans, serving military, EMT, police. Would stay there again.

It was a great hotel to stay at with my family. Kids enjoyed the pool, room was large enough. Awesome breakfast and wonderful staff. Especially Moe. Was not to far of a drive from where we went site seeing.

Lovely hotel. Thought it was a bit expensive when I booked it, but when I saw it and experienced it, I understood why. Our room was large and well appointed. We had a family suite, with 3 queen beds, for 5 people, and we were all very comfortable. I would have just liked the toiletries and towels replenished for our second night. Moe, however, graciously took care of that for us, as well as area info. Chris was great about confirming my special requests at booking. And the barmaid was great about local information. Breakfast was also one of the best, with bacon and sausage. Most hotels don't offer both every day. I would definitely go back again, if I was in the area.

This hotel had a great breakfast and was clean. However there were some issues that made our stay less enjoyable. Here they are: We asked for a quiet room at check-in and were assured that is what we were assigned. We were not told we were put on the floor for pets and it was certainly not quiet during the night as we could hear an animal moving around in the room next to us for much of the evening and part of the night and in the morning. As well, both our key cards only worked for our first night. We were told that this was due to our cell phones and other cards being near the key card. We found this statement disingenuous as it only happened the first night and we kept our cards in the same place afterwards and this never happens at hotels other than Best Westerns. The hot water for the shower was also inconsistent, with several bouts of no hot water at all during our showers.

We stayed on 7/21.The clerk greeted us with “It's $189 a night for a room” His tone that said we are not the class of folk who stay there. After I said to my spouse I couldn't drive any further he gave us 10% off. He saw my disability & gave us a 1st-floor room if we didn't mind workmen nearby @ 7am. I said not a problem. In the room, about ¼ of the window was plywood. Ok, we were just there to sleep.The room has some faults. When at the sink just inside the door I was hit by the hall door.The towel rack overhangs the sink area & my spouse's head hit when he reached to the right of the sink. We had to lift my walker over a raised door jamb.The fridge, is hard to get into as the dresser it's in opens from the left and the fridge hinge is on the right.The plug box between the beds was out of the wall and we reseated it. I told the desk clerk about it as it will pull out again.The bathroom fan is loud and can't be turned off independent of the light.The towel bar in the bath was behind the door & as there was no counter to help me up/down I used the door frame to help myself on & off of the toilet & didn't see the towel bar til I closed the door to shower. This is a more expensive hotel that we usually stay in. It was NOT worth it for an overnight stay. They have an excellent breakfast buffet; but so do other hotels we stayed in that cost $60-$80 less a night. There was one very nice touch. Reserved parking near the lobby for “Heroes” including Veterans,Fire,Police & EMS guests.

Over all it is very good. On the reception desk, it is offered bountiful deserts and cookies, that's a very welcome move. Good swimming pool for both adults and kids to have fun. It's neighborhood is kind of isolated though, but it can be a plus for people who just look for quietness.

The location was convenient to the airport but it had lots of car traffic noise from the highway, was located on a little back road behind a Citgo gas station, and had very limited restaurant options (particularly if you don't eat seafood). When we arrived, we were greeted by a barricade of construction vehicles. I immediately inquired about the hours of the construction and the location of my room. Turns out my room, reserved just a month prior was in the construction zone? So they switched my room (did not have the amenities I booked for - 2 Qn, fireplace, skylight), we had to wait for another room to be cleaned (albeit we were a couple of hours before the stated 3pm check-in policy), and we had construction workers standing at the pool fence staring at us and some others in the pool that were not hotel guests - they snuck out the back way along the road when they left. There was no disclosure of the construction on the website or when the reservation was made. We did not feel safe leaving the luggage in the car. We did not find anywhere convenient to have dinner and missed lunch waiting in the lobby for a room after a long and taxing trip. I personally would not pick this facility for my future travel plans.

Let me start by saying I absolutely loved this hotel! I thought it had more to offer than some of the Best Western Plus hotels. The Best Western in White House Inn is a very unusual sort of hotel. Upon driving up into their parking lot you see what appears to be an enormous white house that I think must have been inspired by the White House (although not as large). When you enter the lobby it appears to be very old and quaint looking. Moe at the desk told me that some guests remarked that it looks like it needs to be updated when in fact it was purposely designed to look old. The hotel adds details to give it a very special look and ambiance. There is a hallway on the first floor with the pictures of presidents all along the walls. Under each president's picture is a little fact about him. There are photos of the first ladies on the third floor, along with some facts about them. Each floor has a lounge area with a bookshelf full of books along with chess and checkers sets. An added touch is the maps that they have set out for people to take along with them. The hot tub is on the first floor near the lobby, and the pool is outdoors. The hot tub is pretty, with a waterfall, and the temperature is quite comfortable. It is also a large hot tub with a 3 1/2 foot depth. Our room was very special, too. The furnishings and headboard appeared to be colonial or antique design. Everything was modern, though, with extra places to plug in electronics. The breakfast buffet was quite varied with a good selection of Bigelow tea. There was Folgers coffee from the coffee machine and there was also an espresso machine. You could eat several different types of eggs. There was a weight room with free weights and exercise machines. There is a business center with computers. They have a lounge, but I did not visit it. We had driven all day to get there and did not feel like going very far to eat so we went to the truckstop next door to eat. I don't normally eat at truck stops, but the one next to the hotel was very cozy and the food was good. This Best Western was easily one of my favorites. If you have the money for it, you can stay in the Lincoln suite or one of the other themed suites that they have there.

Very quiet hotel. We enjoyed our room and my husband loved their outdoor swimming pool and the fact that it was an 8 foot pool. The continental breakfast was great. Area was clean and food continually stocked. I really appreciated the make your own yogurt parfait.

It looks really cool from the highway and our expectations were really high because of the great rankings, but I can't give it more than a 3,5. We notice a lot of dog hair on the carpet in the hallway. The location is great and the staff was friendly. I believe that you can get the same quality of hotel in the Bangor area for a lot less.

Hotel is located off I-95 beside Dysarts truck stop (which has the best blueberry pie). I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. My room was on the 1st floor & close to an exit which was perfect. The staff were all very friendly & accomodating. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of hot & cold food items. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

Away from the busy part of town but close enough to be there within minutes. Quiet hotel. Great staff. The A/C couldn't keep our room cool enough and it was close to being uncomfortable to sleep. So, stay off the third floor during the hot summer days/nights if you can. Pool was very nice.

White House was well located and staff were friendly. Pool was nice despite noise from highway. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of both hot and cold items. Lounge area has a very nice friendly atmosphere.

Been staying at Best Westerns for a number of years. This particular location is perhaps the finest hotel in the chain! Truly a beautiful facility, attention to detail in all respects is evident. Cleanliness, carpeting, room décor, color schemes, furniture, service, in fact, in just about all areas of this facility. I recommend this location to all who travel in the northeastern area of the USA and needing a place to stay. Truly a great experience! Don't forget the pool! I travel throughout much of the US each year, and Best Western is my first choice, and this particular location is really first class!

This hotel was really cool. It is white house themed. We stayed on the 3rd floor & there were pictures along the wall of all the 1st ladies along with a blurb about each one. They had complementary cookies & squares in the lobby. The breakfast had the usual as well as baked beans, corned beef hash & seasoned potatoes. Room was clean & bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was the big plus point- lots of choices - omlettes, eggs, pancakes, waffles, tacos, bacon and sausage, lot of breads and cakes and yogurt parfait. And a great coffee machine so you could have everything from latte to expresso to cappuccino. The hotel has a beautiful exterior and the interior has a Presidential theme. The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere, near a truck stop. So there is practically nothing in that exit. Even though downtown is not far, you have to travel to get any kind of food. Wi-Fi was free but the signal was so weak that it never loaded anything. There are no windows in the room except for a slanting opening in the roof.

Requested not on the 3rd floor, was given 3rd floor room at the end of the hall, not even windows in the room only a dirty skylight. Internet was poor and spent 2 hours just trying to connect. Bus tours were more important than a top level guest.

Great location. Extremely friendly staff. Room was very clean. The lounge was spot on after a long day riding my Harley, the lounge was a perfect retreat. If travelling through this area, I highly recommend this Best Western

Our rooms were clean, spacious, and for under $100 the price was right! The pool was outside but was heated however it was still to windy for us to use. The “spa” was indoors and large enough for 10 people or more. The waffles were good, they also had a hot buffet of items to choose from.

Great hotel! Front desk were very nice and personable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The massage chair was a plus! Bed was perfect. Had a full breakfast in the morning that had sausage and bacon, eggs, fruit, waffle maker.......choice of coffee..would definitely stay again. Oh, and cookies and brownies in the afternoon! Couldn't ask for a better stay.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times now and we always have a great experience. The hotel is clean, very well priced and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return in the future.

We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed the room, comfortable crisp beds, the friendly service, free coffee, cookies and tea 24/7, convenient highway location and proximity to Dysart's Restaurant and gas) very much. We have appreciated improvements made over the years and every visit discover a new piece of furniture or wall-art memorabilia in the 'White House" context which makes the visit so much fun. But I have to say - though most of the "hot" breakfast offered as 'included in the price' looks like eggs, bacon, orange cheese, sausage - is tasteless and industrial quality. Now there is an urn of yoghurt that replaced small name-brand containers that I didn't even want to try. Please! in the name of quality you are putting into the décor put the same care and thought and quality into the food!

We were there for one night, the room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub spa. Great breakfast and super friendly staff at the front desk, cleaning staff and buffet breakfast staf. Minutes away from shopping in Bangor.

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had to move to a different room due to construction noise in the morning hours but found the new room cleaner and of better quality. Even the house cleaning department was extremely friendly as we met them in the halls. Wonderful people at this Inn.

Easy to find, great location (especially since it's right behind Dysarts.--Believe me! You'll want to go there daily!), very polite staff, beautiful, clean, spacious rooms. I'd absolutely stay here again!

The Best Western White House Inn provides a perfect spot for a rest while driving through Maine. It is warm, inviting, and clean. The hotel's breakfast is wonderful, with options for the whole family. Their dog policy is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great customer service, cute little lounge on site. Clean rooms complete with a fireplace. Local to many Bangor attractions within a short driving distance including the casino. Within walking distance of Dysarts if you want a meal at any time. Cute little hot tub room of the main lobby.

Very well maintain and set up with the most curtious staff. The bed was like sleep on a cloud, very comfortable. Beautiful decor, very clean, quiet, very helpful staff and a wheel to spin at check in to earn bonus stay nights.

This, to me, is a strange place with its big portico and political theme and decoration. It can't be seen from North on Interstate 95, to which it is close, and backs up to industrial area. That said. It is quite nice, has many amenities, friendly staff, very nice rooms and is quiet. Has better than usual continental breakfasts. Not much in immediate area for dining except for the truck stop. Certainly a nice place to stay.

The White House is truly a treasure in Bangor.There is Great Americana throughout the entire property and there is lots of quiet comfortable areas to sit and relax.The staff is AMAZING, especially Chris, Mo and Beth.Kim ensures the breakfast is HUGE and Excellent everytime I am there.The rooms are big and clean, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. I love staying here.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Always friendly front staff, clean, comfortable room, nice shower and excellent breakfast. There is a truck stop diner close by and the food is plentiful and excellent. I loved the coconut cream pie. It's always a pleasure to stay here.

We only stayed here the one night but the decor is really nice. They've tried to make it look like the White House and I feel like they've achieved this. The room was great and very clean. Check in was simple and the hot continental breakfast was good with a nice variety. We would stay here again for sure.

Comfortable accommodations, clean, quiet property near interstate, walking distance to restaurant, pet friendly. The staff were friendly Except the bartender who disappeared for 15 minutes had previously served the 5 or 6 guests while we stood at the bar u noticed, 0 customer service finally our order of pizza was taken only to arrive cold wit a crust that was much like cardboard, don't order pizza, stroll to th nearby restaurant that serves promptly with a smile delicious hot comfort food which is perfect when storm stayed on the interstate.

Black mold shower curtains, dusty rooms, scotch taped patched showers, broken desk, smelly carpet....won't be staying here again. It has such potential. the property could be beautiful with a little up kept and a deep cleaning. Sad as it also has the right setting for the name. The only reason for the 2 is the staff as they were friendly and as helpful as they could be and breakfast was decent expect the spoiled yogurt

I had often seen this motel when driving north on I-95. I needed a place to stay for one night while canvassing for the election. The choice of the BW White House Inn proved appropriate: I had thought the name referred to the color of the building but learned it has a President White House theme. My room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and well-equipped. My major complaint was with road noise from the interstate highway. I was excited about the hot tub until I learned that, at maximum 105°F it is more of a warm tub. The breakfast is also touted as hot, which it was. However the omelettes in the buffet were barely edible--in all I wished I'd gone next door to Dysart's.

Have stayed here a couple of times, good location off the highway. Besides regular rooms which allow dogs, they also have themed rooms with Jacuzzis in the room. My favorite is the Wilderness room, it is like walking into a cabin in the woods with all the modern amenities. It is clean, neat and a very nice complimentary breakfast.. Staff is very helpful.

I took a trip up from Portland to visit my girlfriend in Bangor. This was my second time staying at this hotel. The room well cleaned and to my surprise had a massive widescreen television that I watched the Patriots game on. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Mo and Kim at the front desk met every one my questions with smiles on their faces. The breakfast is a little basic, but still substantial. I particularly enjoyed how the entire property is presidential themed. I highly recommend staying at the White House Inn if you are visiting the Bangor area!

We were pleasantly surprised with the kindness of all the staff and the view from the top of the hill. We were pleased with the breakfast buffet with so many selections to choose from and enjoyed eating in this large dining room with a fantastic view. The rooms were clean and unique. Easy driving to many areas we visited.

The room was clean and comfortable. Its a good place if you have a dog, there was a very good walking area. The breakfast was very good. 3 different kinds of eggs, corned beef hash, fresh fruit, cereals, etc etc.

Both the interior and exterior of this hotel are beautiful. The rooms modern and the beds were very comfortable. This Best Western is motorcycle rider friendly with a convenient bike wash around back. The breakfast was one of the best wee had on our 22 day ride. The only negative thing is the location. It's next to truck stop and the only available food at night is truck stop food. We had to travel another 10 miles to get good food.

Was not expecting the look when I walked in--pretty fancy. Loved the presidents theme. Nice little bar downstairs. The staff was friendly. Comfortable and clean. This hotel is close to the airport and we had to leave very early so cannot comment on the breakfast. The truck stop across the road served a great dinner the night before.

We were on a New England road trip and stayed in several hotels. This one was one of my favorites; almost perfect for our needs. The one minus is that it is one exit short of the one into downtown Bangor. So, we had to get back on the freeway to go to dinner (there is a truck stop restaurant at the exit but we wanted something else). The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were very nice. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we got on the trip! The exterior is almost too nice for just a freeway exit hotel.

This is everything a chain motel should be and better in all respects. Professional friendly staff. Better than average breakfast with many options (bonus Dysarts sweet breads). Clean. Typical wonderful Best Western beds/pillows. Sleep quality a ten. Has a lounge with drinks (and coupon for freebie), pizza (reasonable charge), popcorn-- didn't partake but this is a really nice offering. This is an interesting hotel that could only be in Bangor. White House theme and artifacts. Rooms are kind of faux antique but nicely done. I was in an upper room and there was no window looking out but a window that was above (dormer I think you'd call it). Unfortunately the blind was stuck but I always close these anyway. Fair price thru Expedia.

Beautiful room. Breakfast offered a lot of variety and very filling. Beautiful hotel in a country setting. There is a Dysart's restaurant very close by that has delicious comfort food and great sandwiches.

Bride and Groom loved their quiet, private, and lush Romantic Suite, while guests and families enjoyed their individualized room choices and excellent varied amenities for all ages. Wonderful location for important personal and family gatherings!!!

We had reached our destination late, got into the room because we were exhausted, and were immediately met with evidence that the room wasn't clean. Superficially...we thought at first. The first thing we saw was pee on the seat, and thought...well, it's just pee, and we just won't touch the seat. Did I mention we were exhausted? We slept there, despite the pee'd seat. ( checked the sheets, and they 'seemed' clean). Once we woke up in the morning, we noticed poop on the wall close to the toilet, and evidence of poop poorly cleaned up on the bathroom's tile floor.Also, the floor didn't look like it had seen a vacuum. Very disappointed with the front desk staff in the morning. We mentioned all the above, they took notes, but no reduction in price...just a 'sorry'.

Had a great room! Loved the "white house" theme. Clean, great staff, breakfast was buffet. Didn't leave hungry. Had a dinner at the truck stop. Food was good. Would stay here again. About an hour drive from Acadia National Park.

Quiet and clean, very friendly staff and a great hot tub! Hotel is located just off of I95 next to a truck stop with a restaurant that is convenient and has good food. I would definitely stay here again, also the price was very reasonable.

Upon "discovering" this hotel last year, my husband and I were delighted to know that we were able to stay there this year, as well. The BWWHI has a great support staff for their guests,comfortable rooms, and a nice breakfast buffet to start the day !

Very soothing place after driving almost all day. The people at the desk were very nice and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about the Best Western points and helped me with questions. The breakfast was great. I would recommend staying there.

traveling to Canada on motorcycle, room was reasonably priced, comparable to other area properties..very nice building room was clean, modern, bed was comfortable, lounge on property, ample safe parking..front desk was very pleasant and helpful during check in.drawn backs,when I95 began to get busy at 5am the noise in the room woke me, as it is close to the highway, adjacent to the property was truck loading dock.. there was a refer truck running all night that could be heard.. very limited food selection without driving to another exit on i95.. dysarts restaurant/truck stop was only thing close by...pool was great

A very special motel with Presidential motifs and quite nice rooms. We were second floor this time, and our room was large, well-appointed, and nicely decorated. A massage chair was a welcome extra. Again, the breakfast offerings were impressively beyond any we have seen elsewhere. And with Dysarts next door, what else would one ask for?

When we arrived, we were told the only rooms available were ones retained for pet owners. Being concerned there would be odors, or torn up carpet/furniture, we were allowed to look at the room before deciding. We were very pleasantly surprised that it was impossible to tell the difference between these and regular rooms. We also got a coupon for a drink in the separate bar downstairs. Employees, room, common areas and breakfast were all excellent.

We where in Nova Scotia then on our way back home and we stayed at this beautiful Inn. It is pet friendly big rooms. We got two rooms one for us and one for our teenagers. The place was very clean and big , it has a outside pool. It is up the hill from a truck stop with a very good restaurant but you don't hear the trucks at all. The staff was very friendly,they have a large breakfast menu all for free.

My friend and I did a road trip and stayed at the Best Western in Maine...from the beginning of our experience, the staff were OUTSTANDING! Mo greeted us as we checked in and it felt like we were coming home! Kim was the next person in the morning who we asked if we could extend our stay because of the amazing facilities, staff and breakfast! She again was top notch!!

Stayed here with family while traveling through maine and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are dated, but they have done a great job with the decor and super clean. Pool was fantastic, large and heated. Its a bit out of town so nothing near by, but highly recommend checking out the pub. The character and charm of the large space worth going for a drink at. A big wow on the complimentary breakfast will stay here again just because of that.

Couldn't be more unimpressed with this place. We got there, checked in and the room wasn't clean. Bathroom had hair everywhere. Found the tv remote under the nightstand... all night long, all we heard were luggage wheels and heels across the ceiling. The next morning, (exhausted) I went to the continental breakfast to find all the coffee decanters empty and 1 of the 2 coffee/cappuccino machines Out of Order. The was one machine where I could get coffee from. There were even fellow patrons also in disarray, that ended up following me On my hunt for caffeine. Well, I found what scraps I could, and it. was. awful. I Didn't see any food. We left promptly for DD, not before I found out I got charged over $180 bucks for a weak room in a weak hotel. And to top it off, my wife being a teacher should have gotten us a discount on the room, but the guy at the desk told us She should be “doing something related to her work” when staying there to get the discount.(which is Not true). It's supposed to be a perk of paying into the union. Apparently this hotel just acts like they want to play ball. The lady at the desk was nice.........so there's that...

We called to book our room for one night, on a Thursday. We were quoted $113 over the phone. It was a basic room. The bathroom was not clean and the room had an off odor. e were put in an end room with a hallway above us. The sound of footsteps and rolling carts woke us up multiple times. The view out the window was of a wall. Before booking this room we asked if NEA/MEA members were given an educators discount and were told yes with an ID. The breakfast was fruit and cereal, all coffee was empty. Upon check out we were charged $180 and when asked about our discount for being an MEA member, we were told by the uneducated, rude staff member that we were only supposed to use that for teacher workshops, which is inaccurate. It's a union perk to be used year round for discounts at many locations. This place was ridiculous.

This have become a favorite mid-way stop for me and my family on our way to Nova Scotia. The front desk is super friendly and love the big open room for breakfast. Our dog is welcome which is a big plus for us. Love BWs in general but do wish as they build new hotels they put the elevator closer to the check in area. It would help with getting up to your room with luggage. So pleased they allow us to bring our dog.

My wife and I stopped here a few years back and it has become one of our favorite stopping places when traveling through Maine. The service has always been a Five Star Service. Very helpful front desk, Always. The rooms have always been extremely clean. There is a K-Cup coffee maker in room. Frig and microwave as well. The continental breakfast is more like a breakfast buffet. (free). We travel with Two Chihuahua's and it is pet friendly. There is an outside pool. There is also a pub beneath the first floor. There is a Resturant next door that will deliver if you want. Menu in room. Must try the blueberry pie ?? Easy on and off interstate.

Hotel is showing its age but a great deal for the price. Rooms were clean and well kept. Pool has a lovely view of I-95 and you can't here anything by the pool except the road noise. Great hot breakfast included with the room. Next to giant truck stop and hotel gets a lot of tour bus action according to the super nice gentlemen working the front desk. Very convenient to downtown Bangor, easy shot up I-95 a couple of exits. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay if you are going up north. Located in-between everything and the rates where affordable, rooms were clean and well maintained.This hotel was right off the highway but yet you could hear the traffic from inside.

GREAT location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms was extremely clean and very comfortable. The bed was extremey comfortable which provided a grear night's sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area. Again, GREAT STAY!!!!

Stayed here after a concert at Waterfront Pavilion. Clean and comfortable room; friendly staff, decent breakfast. Outside pool was ok (no pads on metal chairs). Go next door to Dysart's Truck Stop for delicious homemade pie!

Passing through on vacation we stayed here last month. It was off the highway and easy to get to. Kids loved the outdoor pool which they said was warm. The hotel offered a free breakfast which I found was a little bit better than most free breakfasts. Room had a microwave/fridge. It was walking distance to a gas station. Only issue was that the room we had did smell like smoke a little. It was a non-smoking room so it should not have - the smell bothered the kids a little - but not enough to change room. It is an older hotel. Service was nice and I would recommend staying there.

I love the white house, always friends and a great group of people in Bangor Maine. Always clean and comfortable rooms and a cozy bar. Not to mention fresh baked goods at the front desk . Cant wait for next.

This may be older hotel but it is well kept. The room was clean and spacious. Truck stop is located in front of the hotel which is nice since they have restaurant and there isn't a whole lot anything else nearby. The location is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Bangor. They do accept pets which is huge bonus. They have outdoor swimming pool and huge indoor whirlpool which was nice but the water temperature could have been little warmer. The basement bar was quite neat. Breakfast had large selection of variety breakfast items, it definitely had the best selection I have ever seen in the chain hotels. Brownies and cookies were available in the reception area in the evening.

I stayed here July 4 - 7, 2018 with a group bus tour. Along the hallway where rooms are located, on the first floor there are pictures of the First Ladies and on the third floor, portraits of the Presidents. Very, very nice touch !!! Someone told me there is a miniature White House somewhere, but i didn't have a chance to find it. Room was clean and spacious. Fridge and microwave and hidden in the dresser area under the TV. One of my fellow travellers advised me, as I couldn't find it at first. Cabinet looked like actual drawers !!! Breakfast included bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, pre-made cheese omelette which was tasty, potatoes, waffle maker and pancake maker, pastries, fruit, etc. There's a Dysart truck stop on the property that has a full-on restaurant and large store area. I didn't go, but a fellow traveller did and was quite impressed. Overall, a great stay !!!

It was only an overnight stay on a road trip but we were pleased. We were quickly checked in, and a free 6 to 10 am breakfast was offered. When I explained we were hoping to be on the road before then, they offered a bag breakfast of water, fruit and granola bars. I thought it was a nice touch. It's walking distance to Dysarts Truck Stop which is a must do for home made food and old fashioned Americana. Don't let the name and huge trucks scare you off, it's very family friendly. There is actually a separate dining room for the truckers. Easy access from the highway and a set back from the road seals the deal for a quiet and convenient place to stay for travelers.

Driving up you think you may be going to the White House- lol. So much history here, and Mo was awesome at telling you about the hotel, the artifacts, the area and helping you find what ever you need. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good too. I would absolutely come here again. Take a close look at the pictures in all the hallways. Very fascinating.

Hotel was very clean and our room was freshly painted. Staff was friendly and accommodating-- especially Mo at the desk! Be sure to enjoy the large hot tub and the pool. They have a dog walking path on the grounds and charge a very low pet fee. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect for traveller, minutes from Bangor & close to roads to the coast. The inn is clean with comfortable beds, great breakfast & excellent service. We plan to stay there next year!!

we stayed awhile ago. The halls have pictures of past presidents and first ladies. Room was clean and comfortable. Contenintal breakfast was standard as most motels. Great location to get to off the main highway.

A nice surprise on a busy weekend. A lobby full of history plus real yoghurt and pine nuts for breakfast - eggs chicken sausage too. Breakfast room doubles as weekend restaurant. We could only stay one night — will return. Visited lots of great locations right from Hamden. Directions from front desk got us everywhere. Thanks, Kim, Moe.

A little out of the way but worth it. Clean comfortable rooms. Queen beds not doubles! Comfortable mattresses, good air conditioning and lighting. Breakfast is hot and tasty and offers a large variety. Staff is super friendly and helpful, Mo was particularly nice. Don't let the out of the way location deter you.

This was the first time staying at the White House but will not be the last. The cleanliness, friendliness and excellent service. very comfortable. There is pool the grandchildren loved and a hot tub I loved. A quaint little lounge that my husband loved. The rooms and bedding quite comfortable and even though next to the highway the noise was not an issue.

Air conditioning stinks. Upon arrival on a hot day in July 2018, we were put in a room on 3rd floor with NO working air conditioning. We were then changed to another room which had a so-called working a/c but it seemed to work at only 20% capacity, leaving us sweltering all afternoon and most of the night. When I complained, I was told that "none of the air conditioning keeps up well on a hot summer day. Stay elsewhere. Breakfast, however, was above average.

What an unexpected surprise. This hotel is true to its name...historic! The lobby, hallways, and every floor are decorated with historic memorabilia. Some areas had beautiful period-type furniture. The clerk at Check-in was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and had more selections than most mid-scale hotels. The bedroom was small but fine for us; the bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping could do better with dusting and room corners, but overall, it was clean. Our room had a mini-fridge and microwave. Recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the White House for one night with our two kids, baby, and dog. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is made with real food and was perfectly good especially compared to many complimentary breakfasts. We will definitely stay here again.

Parking was easy, included breakfast was great. Comfy beds, modern air conditioning, seemed reasonably clean. Friendly staff. I'm always glad to see good reviews from my fellow Trip Advisors. Not a luxury hotel but more than adequate. Good stay.

Stayed at White house Inn June 13-16 and it was a delight! It was out first stay here ,although stay in Bangor at least once a year. I enjoyed the location..away from the shopping district and very easy access to all highways. We stayed in a King room on the first floor ( 118) easy access to parking lot. There was a fridge microwave and safe in the cabinet below tv.Bed was comfy..bathroom, although small ,well equipped. There is no view from this room and the air conditioner was on the loud side but did not diminish our enjoyment! Staff is wonderful..( go see Kate in the lounge for yummy drinks and great advice for a daytrip) Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices..one of best hotel continentals i've had! Especially enjoyed the local pastries and sweetbreads( please do drop a few dollars in the tip jar for the breakfast staff who keep everything stocked and hot) We will def make this our new place to stay in Bangor! Tips and tricks to Travel with No Regrets- Try Dysarts for a hearty well priced meal and right next door. Grab some water and beverages at the dollarstore to fill your fridge. It has lots of room!

Staff was friendly and helpful, and check in and check out were easy. The room was clean, and everything worked well. It was a quiet location, close to the interstate, but there wasn't much else around. We had eaten dinner before we checked in, so lack of restaurants in the area wasn't important to us. There is one nearby local restaurant, but that was it. Would definitely return to this hotel if we're in the area.

We've stayed at many BW hotels all over Canada and US and we usually look there first when choosing a hotel. This one was a bit disappointing but still has its good points: friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfy bed, quiet. However, there were some negative issues we had to deal with that are not normally encountered at BW. The room safe didn't work because it needed a new battery and no one was available to change it. We were told there were a couple of extra safes at the lobby but turned out those didn't work either. If your room is on the 3rd floor, don't expect to sleep in. There is a skylight in the ceiling and only a cheap blind to cover part of the window. The room will light up as soon as the sun comes up. The shower can be hit or miss. My wife had no issues but when I showered after her, the water would become ice cold or boiling hot for a few seconds as if someone was cutting off the hot or cold water. I'd consider staying here again but will avoid the 3rd floor. The hotel is also fairly old which might bother some but wasn't a big deal for us.

We were visiting Maine to see family and stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good with many different options. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They told me that the room was over the lounge and that we could hear noise from below but we never heard anything! Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. We will definitely stay here again!

We were very pleased with our stay at the White House Best Western. This hotel has a lot of charm and sits on several acres with beautiful views and walking trails. It also has an outdoor pool, indoor spa and many other amenities. Our room was non-smoking and pet friendly, just as we had requested. It was clean and just as described. To top it all off, we enjoyed a complimentary hot breakfast buffet in the morning. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place, great people, super clean motel. Super friendly staff. All housekeepers are great, friendly and very helpful. I would and do recommend using the White House for any event. Prices are fair and the place is easy to find.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Nova Scotia and this hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were nice and helpful. We paid a reasonable price here. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from I-95 at Exit 180. And the hotel is in a quiet location so you won't hear road noise here. We will definitely stay here again

We stayed in this hotel one night with our non-shedding small dog ($10.00 extra). It was fairly clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was nice for this type of hotel, considering it is self-serve and must sit in warming trays for hours. The location is right beside a truck stop and just out of town. We did not hear any noise once inside our room.

Located behind Dysart's truck stop, just off of I95, the hotel is easy to get to. Check-in was friendly and fast, as was check-out. The property has a presidential theme throughout, which makes sense as the building vaguely resembles the White House. Gilded furniture in the lobby and U.S. presidents pictures in the hallways. It is an older property, but well kept and clean. Our king room was sunny and bright with a large TV. Each bedside was equipped with an adjustable goose neck reading lamp, which we love, as well as traditional bedside lamp and USB ports. Bed was comfortable, but a little softer than we're used to. Perhaps an older mattress? Regardless, it still afforded a good night's sleep. Bathroom was clean, with sink located in the guestroom so that couples can shower and brush teeth, etc. simultaneously. It was hot in the room when we arrived so I put on the AC. The unit was an older window style unit which had been installed in the wall. It was a bit noisy, particularly at night when it cycled on and off as it reached temperature. A very minor complaint, but something less noticeable in newer AC units. The windows in our room opened, but proximity to the interstate makes traffic noise a bit too loud to leave them open for long. Still, it is nice to be able to let fresh air in if one desires. The morning we checked out, hot water was a bit wonky. I assume it was due to the high morning shower traffic. It was only a slight inconvenience however, as I was nearly done with my shower when i noticed the issue. Included breakfast was great, with local donuts, good coffee and several hot food offerings. There is an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. The hotel is very close to Bangor, Brewer and the Bangor mall, so there are plenty of dining options and diversions nearby. We would stay here again.

Nice Rooms and easily accessible from highway. Proximity to Dysarts truck stop and restaurant is the main reason for staying here. Parking for trucks not an issue. Clerk was extremely helpful with my employees

Sarah was our hostess on arrival and departure, she is very pleasant and helpful. she offered us cold water on arrival and departure. Thank you! This Best western has one of the the best Best Western Breakfasts in the East.

I needed a pet friendly hotel and this was a great place. It was clean. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. It was easy off and on the interstate and although we didn't interact with many staff members the one I met were great. We ate at Dysarts the truck stop right across the street and the food there was very good.

Staff very friendly. Many choices for complimentary breakfast. Property very well kept. First time staying here and will stay here again when we make our trips to Canada. Our dog is quite shy and had no problems.

We chose the Best Western White House Inn for our recent stay in Bangor because we needed a dog friendly hotel. We are pleased with our choice and would definitely stay there again! Our room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. Due to the close proximity to the highway, there was the sound of traffic, however we knew that when making the reservation and it didn't impact very much. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the highway as well as to Dysart's restaurant (one of our favorite places to eat while in the area). There was plenty of space to walk our dog outside. We also found the staff we interacted with very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included, however we chose to go to Dysart's instead. Although we didn't eat the breakfast there, it certainly smelled good and, having stayed at Best Westerns in other locations, I knew that the breakfasts are usually very good! We did run into one glitch upon check-in that was easily resolved. Although I had specifically reserved a pet friendly room when reserving our room through the Best Western website (also noting when making the reservation that I would be bringing a dog), an internal error after the reservation had been made had somehow upgraded us to a different, non pet-friendly room without our knowledge. After initially being told at the check-in desk that the room I had reserved online was not pet-friendly, it was soon determined that the error had been on the hotel's end and that I had reserved a pet-friendly room. The gentleman at the check-in desk apologized for their error and allowed us to stay in the room that they had upgraded us to, which was a beautiful room! We greatly appreciate the way that the situation was handled and the hotel's honesty in admitting their mistake! Overall, a very nice stay. We look forward to staying there again on future visits to the Bangor area!

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. There is ample parking. It is near the city but far enough away to avoid the noise of the city. It was located very conveniently with respect to the venue where i was attending a conference

We have stayed at the White House before on our way to and from Canada. Always a welcoming stay. Dog especially enjoys walk in open area next to hotel. They have absolutely the best breakfast of any hotel we visit.

Highly Recommend! The rooms are excellent with an Antique and Quaint look. Free breakfast is awesome both in quality and variety. When we arrive in Bangor on our way back from Myrtle Beach , this is an welcome site.

From our first impression with Chris who checked us in and was AWESOME, very nice and informative about the area , the room was CLEAN and comfortable! Grounds are kept up and currently updating with new carpet . Love that there are designated parking spots for our “super hero's” that have served! Nice patriotic touches!

I loved the theme, American Presidents and the First Ladies theme for the third floor. The hotlel personnel were lovely individuals and quite helpful in providing places to visit from Bar Harbor to the coastal seashore down to Rockport and more.

I have been a traveling salesman since 2008 and have stayed at nearly every hotel in the greater Bangor area. The Best Western White House is simply the best one. From the amazing character found throughout the building to the amazing staff, this place checks off every box. The lobby is a great place to relax, the gorgeous pool and massive hot tub are also perfect to relax, plus they have a cozy bar and restaurant on site that is perfect for relaxing in the evening. The staff truly cares about you and all your needs. Beth, Chris and Mo are just a few of the excellent members that make your stay perfect. Breakfast is unparalleled and the room is huge and super pretty with a massive amount of glass windows. The rooms are perfectly sized with plenty of furniture and walking space. The bathroom is super clean and well stocked. And the beds. The beds are some of the most comfortable in all of New England. I LOVE SLEEPING HERE. Haha, its hard to get up and get going: this place is built to sleep in!

The White House is a pet-friendly hotel that we use every year as we make our annual trip to the Maritimes, Canada. It is conveniently located for the I-95 and the rooms are extremely comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The breakfast is better than most - a wide range of hot and cold options, and this year we see that they've added an expresso machine. In all, a wonderful spot that we recommend with enthusiasm.

We booked the Nautical themed room and it was absolutely amazing!!!! Can't wait to go again! The staff was fantastic and the facility was spotless, we could not have been happier. It was a very peaceful location.

The executive part of the hotel has fabulously large rooms that host a room with 2 king size beds and huge bathroom. We have stayed in this room before and the room is adjoining to another large room with another king bed. Makes a great option when traveling with family. Clean and very comfortable. The rooms are very quiet and u never hear the elevator or people running down the halls.The hotel is close to a truck stop with excellent food and room delivery.

I have stayed here many times and as usual it was clean and comfortable. Highway noise is definitely more noticeable if you are on the side facing the highway but not bad either way. Good place and definitely convenient for truck drivers!

The breakfast is always the best bar none of any place we stay! Also extremely clean and well kept rooms. The lady who runs the lounge is always so friendly and makes you feel like a regular. A very safe feeling atmosphere throughout the complex.

I flew from Seattle to Bangor, JFK flight to Bangor was delayed 4 hours, so I got to the hotel at 3 a.m. and the gentleman at the front desk was accommodating and oh so nice. Room was so comfy/quiet and they even provided me with extra time to check out given my late arrival time. I appreciate this sort of niceness.

Very nice hotel! It appears to be well maintained in the room and public areas of lobby and breakfast area. We are always a bit leary when booking at a pet friendly hotel as some have a very strong odor to them. This hotel gives no indication of having some pet friendly rooms ( they're are rooms that DO NOT ALLOW PETS, so choose carefully when booking) - the only smell that was noticeable was a medicinal cleaning product smell in the general hallway, which, to me, is a welcome sign of cleanliness. The room was SPOTLESS, not wayward hairs, cobwebs or dust left behind, carpet seemed very clean and no odor at all in our room ( Rm 320). The bathroom seemed a bit tight in space for the toilet and shower- the sink sits independently outside the bathroom which is a plus for our family. The only negative with the room was the angled ceiling which made one side seem very small, it could be difficult for very tall person to stand up without using caution ( my husband is 6'2" and had to use care when standing up from the provided chair next to the fireplace in this area ( I do not believe all rooms are like this- this one is on the 3rd floor and has a skylight and fireplace). The queen beds were comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean, including the top coverlet. It seemed to be a very quiet hotel . It can be a bit deceiving to locate- you drive through a truck stop to what appears to be a very dark, dead end, but alas, there is the hotel sign on the left and you drive back to the hotel in a quiet setting. We did not notice a lot of noise from the truck stop, but we arrived around 11pm and left the next morning by 8 am, for a visit to Husson University which is only a few exits away. The breakfast in the morning was quite substantial, many gluten free items available. They offered many hot options- scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, chicken sausage, corn beef hash, bacon, to name a few. As well as the continental fair of muffins, donuts, bagels, cereal, coffee, juices, yogurt, fruit, etc. Due to our limited time during this stay we didn't get to explore the rest of the facility, but I would expect the rest to be as nice. The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and pleasant- made me feel at home as soon as I stepped in the front door. As far as your pet is concerned, there are sufficient grassy areas around the hotel to take them out, and it would be secluded enough to walk them during the day from what we observed during this short stay. We will definitely be staying here again if our daughter chooses to go to Husson!!

My husband had already stayed here in January for a business trip and been very impressed, so we decided to stay in one of their suites for a weekend getaway. Once again, very impressed! Check-in was quick, and the gentleman let us know about some of the amenities they offered. Every time we left and returned, if he was not busy, he made sure to greet us. The suite was huge! Comfy bed, large jacuzzi, fireplace, walk in shower, Keurig, microwave and fridge, hair dryer and robes, extra pillows in the closest, massage chair. Everything was immaculate. There was a desk and chair if one needed to have work space and I noticed they also had a work space for business travelers downstairs. It was the weekend, so we went downstairs to the lounge and had a drink. The bartender was attentive and friendly. They offered breakfast, although we didn't partake. The hotel is right behind Dysarts, which offers really filling meals and is open all right. One of the employees told us they also deliver until 10. We were on the third floor and it was super quiet. My husband stayed on the first floor last time and said it was quiet then as well. I feel that if we had needed anything, they would have been very accommodating. We're also planning a return visit. I would highly recommend a stay, whether for business or pleasure!

Everything was awesome. Even with the big storm snow clean up was excellent. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and checkers board in the back lobby. Great location and clean rooms. Will definately be staying again!

This is a very interesting place to stay with it's hall of presidents. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was more than comfortable and the rest of the room was spacious and well worth the price for the room

I have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and cheerful and the rooms are always very clean. Stop down and see Karen at the lounge for a drink or three. Quite possibly the best place I've ever stayed simply for the atmosphere and hospitality.

This hotel is my "go-to: overnight stop when travelling back and forth from Massachusetts to northern Maine. It's right off I95 and behind Dysarts Truck Stop and Restaurant, which is open 24 hours. You can get a nice clean room, with friendly staff and walk to the restaurant for a great meal. The Whit House Inn also serves up a full breakfast buffet in morning. The location is not anything special except for convenience, as it's nestled in a industrial business area. Like I said, we use it as one night layover, so it's great for that when travelling long distances and you need to break up your drive.

The lobby was very interesting with lots of presidential memorabilia ! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was great ! We stayed in the winter so no pool :( But the spa was open and the lounge was great for a good thin crust pizza and Kate was awesome. She had so much knowledge of the area and I have a new friend in Maine now !!

I stay at this hotel on an average once once a week from Jan thru to May and I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities. The breakfast is excellent and a very broad selection Kim is a real sweetheart and the rest of the staff are always great to deal with. The only cravat I have is that they could have better window treatments on the sky lights on the 3rd floor as it lets in to much light. I say this as I sometimes get in in early pm and try to sleep as soon as I arrive. Nice touch having the fireplace.

The Inn is conveniently located for the traveler. Very good customer service and a great breakfast. Issues with the room cleanliness knocked down the rating. When reported that a sock was found under the chair and a water bottle jammed in bedside we were given a 20% discount by the front desk.

Would definitely stay here again - for extended stays also. Because we were just passing through we only stayed one night and therefore did not take advantage of the lounge, the indoor hot tub, or the fitness room. An older, but very well maintained, quiet and clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Great breakfast buffet,

We stayed here when we went to a show at the Collins Center and also again when we went to see Rod Stewart at the Waterfront. Clean, ok breakfast, nice little gym and clean spa. Also Dysarts is out back and you wont be sorry you ate there. Rooms are decent and everything was clean and nicely decorated. Free parking

I would go out on a limb and say that this was one of our best experiences with Best Western (Best Western Plus) in all the years we've been staying at these properties! The staff, room, and breakfast were all way above and beyond our expectations! As we were only staying one night, we didn't have an opportunity to take advantage of the lounge, the indoor hot tub, or the fitness room. This property is a must if you're going to be staying in the Bangor area! I only wish there was a higher than 5 star rating that I could give this place!!!

All I can say is the breakfast is great, a lot of selection. The coffee machine is always my highlight. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the sleep was good. love the chocolate mints in the room

We stayed at the White house inn while visiting U Maine (about 15 minutes or so away). As far as the room goes, it was pretty average, but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The large indoor hot tub was great, and the breakfast definitely had one of the largest varieties that I have seen in hotels of this class. There was also a small bar/lounge downstairs which was a nice feature for a hotel of this type (must be 21 to enter). Each floor had historical pieces or photos which we enjoyed (1 floor was the Presidents, 1 the first ladies, etc). I would definitely return if I were in that area again.

Needed to get away. The staff was friendly, the lobby and room were very nicely decorated and warm! It was nice to just be able to fluff around and relax. Many choices for breakfast. Had to leave a day early because there was a blizzard coming but I would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay! Beautiful rooms, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a lot of different selections. The hotel staff was amazing, they did a great job of making me feel welcome and were quick to take care of every need I might have!! This is definitely a hotel I would stay at anytime I am in the Bangor area.

We had to make an unexpected stop in a blizzard and we needed a dog-friendly place. The White house Inn accommodated 3 humans and 2 dogs in an emergency situation. the Inn was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The stuff is wonderful, the rooms are well kept and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is really good and the hotel is very clean and nice. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. I don't stay anywhere else but at the Best Western White House

Excellent place to stay! We stayed in the Romantic Room which is one of there theme rooms and it was gorgeous! So very romantic we loved it. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so very friendly and nice. We plan on going back for New Years!

This hotel is a go to for us as we travel down the 95 into the USA. Bangor is a nice little city, with pretty good shopping and minimal traffic. The Best Western Whitehouse is clean, comfortable and for the price it's a great value. The front desk agent was exceptionally cooperative and helpful, the breakfast that is included in the rate has a good selection, and was stocked well. If this is your price range...stay here!

The staff was friendly and polite, the room was comfortable although the mattress was a bit soft and older and the internet worked great. The only thing is the flooring....old and torn rugs... with the age of the building, it does leave a bit of a smell and it does not look good! However, we slept very well and the linen and the towels were just great and the breakfast was bountiful in all manners, variety, quality and the cleanliness of the dining area was remarkable!!!

While not as convenient to shopping or other Bangor activities, the 5-10 minute ride is worthwhile. Professional and courteous staff, clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast included. A lounge is on-site for those who want to unwind from the day's activities. The hot tub or fitness facility are available too.

A dated hotel but very attentive staff. the rooms are clean. We had a very strong odor in our room and staff provided another. Besides that it is a cosy place to stay. It was quiet. breakfast was good.

Just a nice place to stay. The guest room was comfortable. All other hotel areas are also very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hot continental breakfast has multiple choices, enough variety to please both adults and kids.

The hotel looks just like the White House and is decorated with all kinds of presidential memorabilia. There was a great lounge downstairs and the bartender Kate was very entertaining and knew a lot about points of interest in many places, not just Bangor. The room was great, and the beds amazing. There were many plug-ins easily accessible for those with many electronics that need charging. The fact that there was a BATHSHEET instead of just those miserable "bath-towels" was fabulous! I notice that someone mentioned a place close by to eat, Dysarts, but we must have missed it - and that was my only CON on a whole ream of PROS. The hotel is a little out of the way, not really see-able from the highway, but definitely worth it. The breakfast was the best spread I have even seen in a free buffet. Highly recommended.

Rooms were clean large and breakfast was awesome. Would recommend for sure they have a nice pool area hot tub and close to dysarts if you want cheap home cooked food. It is a bit out of the way but easy in and off highway access

The Best Western White House Inn is a very clean hotel with wonderful staff! The hotel is right next to Dysart's which is amazing, the breakfast is so much more than I could have asked for, we were located very close to downtown Bangor and if you get a chance to take the Stephen King tour with Stu make sure to do so! I brought my fiance out to Bangor for his birthday weekend and the hotel was perfect. I can't find a single thing to complain about. If you are ever planning to stay in Bangor, stay at this hotel.

Clean, good breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms are awesome. Breakfast was really good and a wide variety. There us a pool in the summer and a great hot tub all year around. Never had a problem will stay there again

I recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to be close to the City but not right in it. They are a clean, quiet hotel. They even allow pets. Be sure to ask not to be on a floor who allows pets if you do not like barking dogs. That is the only negative I had. If I had asked to change rooms, I know they would have done that for me, but we were already settled in.

A lot of food choices for the included continental breakfast, friendly staff and very nice hotel. We also liked the historical items in the hotel. The only thing we did not find appealing was the view but I guess that is a trade off for being outside of town which made for a quieter setting

Would have no problem recommending this place to a friend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.There was a decent hot breakfast. Value for the money was good. The only negative things I could comment on is the air conditioning was noisy and the hotel could do with a little TLC. Eg. Bathroom could use a little fixing up. With these things stop me from staying here again? Absolutely will stay here again.

Only stayed one night, check in very friendly. Room and common areas clean, breakfast good all employess are very friendly. I have stayed here before when I am in the area for work, always a good experience.

I honestly do not understand why this place is so highly rated. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THESE REVIEWS LIKE ME! The hotel itself is very dated and looks dark. The lighting in the rooms is awful. Breakfast is appealing, worst selection I have ever experienced. It is also very badly laid out. To get to our room we had to walk all the way through the hotel because the elevator is at the rear. Who designed this? It is also very ominous to drive into, you appear to be heading for a dead end and the hotel is basically in the middle of a truck stop. Do not be taken in by the other reviews on here, avoid this hotel if you're in Bangor.

Everything a motel should be. Interesting presidential themed décor, modern rooms with a touch of class, even a library to borrow books! Best hotel breakfast I have ever had, wide choice of hot and cold selections, make your own waffles and make your own pancakes.

For some reason, I did not click that the White House inn was referring to the "White House" so it was so adorable when we went inside and saw all the presidential themed decor. The inn was adorable and lovely, very clean and well-staffed. I would stay here again.

Very nice lodgings, lovely rooms, super clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, hot food and comfortable, relaxing dining room. Highly recommend staying here as you travel ad the price was fair...not too expensive. All inside entrances but very quiet.

Very friendly, helpful staff. We definitely would recommend it. Amazing fresh breakfast options, comfortable bed, and great recommendation for touring, and dining. Loved stating at the White House. We were within walking distance to Dysarts Dining and had a delicious dinner, and yummy dessert and bakery options right in the back area of the hotel. Unassuming on the outside but very quaint and updated on the inside. Lovely stay.

This BW is in a quirky location near a highway and a large tractor trailer service area, so I wasn't expecting a lot. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was large, my King bed very comfortable, the free internet worked well enough and there was a massage chair in the room. The bathroom needed updating, but spotless. I could hear the highway, but it was a low hum that I soon forgot about. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

As long as you don't mind being a good way from Bangor (5/7 miles) then as a stop over The Senator Inn is good value. Efficient check in, Room Large, Clean and functional with all facilities working well. Did not try Swimming Pool but looked good. Excellent Parking and has good Handicapped/Disabled facilities. Breakfast was better than most with good warm selection. Recommended.

We look forward to staying here on our long trips between the Maritimes and the Mid-Atlantic area because it is clean and comfortable and they serve a very good complimentary breakfast. We appreciate always having two comfortable places to sit; so many places only give you one decent chair. Also, their mattresses are nice and firm. We were quite impressed that they handled breakfast with two busloads of hungry teenage athletes without skipping a beat! Because the Inn is close to I95, it is important to request rooms (in advance) on the 'quiet side'. Our only criticisms are minor: the bathrooms are a bit 'tired' and could use some freshening-up and they don't offer any fruit other than apples for breakfast.

Great Place to stay. Need to educate staff on where to get something to eat. They only knew of one place. We had to search our cell phone to find a good place to get good seafood. Dysarts is good, but we wanted to do seafood.

This is a great hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Never have had any trouble staying here! The best Western has a quality above other hotels

All fine but quite a noise from the floor above and from outside. Whole night. We were in room 216. As usual breakfast with plastic dishes and cutlery. But it is acceptable with eggs, toast and cereals.

We stayed one night in late September. The hotel itself is a neat experience with all the historical artifacts. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. We had a nice, spacious room with a fireplace and sitting area. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. The lounge area was cozy and a fun experience.

Baby Pack & Play & Refrigerator for formula. Nice stay as we pass thru Maine up to Canada where my daughter & Grand baby live. We are California Grand parents who after traveling.... will enjoy the warm complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Was surprised to find the hotel hidden behind a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. Outside of that it was a wonderful hotel and stay. The breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable.

We had originally booked this hotel for one night while passing through Bangor. This hotel was so nice we decided to stay an extra day. Suite was incredible as was the hot breakfast buffet. Lounge in basement was a nice surprise. We would most definitely stay here again!

Great place, very quaint, very clean. Mo was very friendly and helpful. He recommended the truck stop very near and walkable for dinner. It was a fabulous dinner. Would hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

Hotel staff was very nice, especially Mo. The outdoor pool was nice considering it was late September. The indoor hot tub was nice too! Mo updated us about the hotel giving us excellent service like we were the only ones there. Enjoyed receiving 500 points to be added to my Best Western Rewards card.

I stay at the White House/Best Western when I'm in the Bangor area. The beds are great, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and they offer a great breakfast, nighttime cookies and even a good bar. What more do you need when away from home!

Driving back to NYC from eastern Canada, we needed a room and this was a last minute reservation. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was right off I-95 so it was very convenient.

The Best Western White House Inn was a very pleasant surprise for my wife and me. The rooms are modern, large, clean, comfortable, and well laid out. They have a heated outdoor pool. But ... I would say that the best surprise was the breakfast buffet! It is one of the best free, hotel breakfast buffets that I've ever eaten at. Great selection of fresh baked goods, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausage and all sorts of other foods. If you're going to Bangor, THIS is the place to stay. Price of the room was excellent.

The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool is heated and we were able to use it. the hot tub is gorgeous and has lifts for those needing it and holds up to 20 people-again very clean and we were the only ones in it. It was easy to access our room on second floor and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was included, and while there was lots of variety, it didn't seem that fresh. Donuts were stale, eggs were half warm. There was lots of sausage, dry biscuits and gravy, just not my cup of tea.

Needed a place to stay for 7 nights to combining back for a Celebration of Life and a bit of vacation. This was a convenient location and large enough that several other people attending the Celebration of Life also stayed here. The large restaurant next door made it a very convenient place for a large group to eat. Located right off the turnpike and mid state location made it a good starting place for exploration Breakfast was good with a good selection of choices of hot foods.My room was on the backside so I did have traffice noise. Next stay I would ask for a room located farther away. But If I am in the area again, I will not hesitate to stay here.

This was a perfect place to stop on the way to Bar Harbor, ME. Dinner at the truck stop next door was convenient and decent. Breakfast at the hotel was filling and put us on the road for the next leg of the drive in good spirits.

The hot tub in this hotel is huge!! I love that they have ADA accessible lifts, it dramatically assisted me. The Filibuster Lounge downstairs was also a pleasant surprise. The beds weren't the MOST comfortable but they did the trick, just a matter of preference really. The only thing I would recommend; maybe update the decor. They stay very true to the theme of the hotel, but even with that theme, the rooms could use some updating, especially in the bathrooms. There was nothing wrong, just a bit outdated. However I LOVED the hall of First Ladies on the third floor!!! Pros: amazing staff(really), huge hot tub, awesome lounge. Cons: decorations could use updating, beds weren't my preference. Would highly recommend!!

Family and I spent a few nights here, on our way up and back from a vacation to Nova Scotia, Canada. Bangor was along the way, but also close to Acadia National Park--where we spent a day--and a lovely little town in its own right. My wife and I are Stephen King fans, so getting to see his house was also a nice treat. They had a 3 queen bed room, which allowed all of us (3 adults, 3 kids) to stay in one room, which we appreciated. One night that room wasn't available, but they provided a rollaway bed in another room. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, quiet. The hotel is a bit south of Bangor, but close to a truck stop that serves decent food. When we stayed the hotel was offering one free drink in the lounge, but we didn't go down to the lounge, so I can't speak to that. The morning breakfast is pretty good, for the size of the hotel. Cereal, eggs, bacon, waffle maker, the usual, but the quality is above average. Good coffee, most importantly. The hotel has a pool, hot tub, and gym. The pool is outdoors, but heated, so even in the cool evenings our kids enjoyed it. Hot tub is big and comfortable, and I really liked the gym. Great equipment and I always had it to myself. The staff was very nice and quite helpful. In short, we really liked our stay and would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

My husband and I just stayed here last night. I had the best sleep I've had in a few weeks on the very comfortable bed with quality linens. The room was spacious and clean. Yes, it isn't the newest hotel around but it was well kept and the staff was great and friendly. The breakfast buffet includes pastries, coffees, teas, juices, cereals, yogurt with side offerings of fruit and nuts, gluten-free options, with three waffle irons, cappuccino maker, hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, two different kinds of sausage, bacon, corned beef hash and cheese omelettes. I would definitely stay here again. Add to all that the heated pool and spacious hot tub with a little fountain and it was perfect for us. They also have a very cozy lounge on the lower level with a friendly bartender where you can get drinks and watch TV in a pub atmosphere.

The hotel is nothing fancy but very comfortable and the staff is friendly. They have a nice complimentary breakfast with something for everyone. The location is very convenient - right off the highway and about 10 minutes from downtown Bangor.

Sweet hotel, staff super friendly, always a smile. Loved the checkers and also the games offered to play in lounge. Breakfast was very good and eating area kept very tidy. Loved the décor themed to the hotel Whitehouse. Close to all things we wanted to do. Room was clean.

Although we have stayed here a few times before, our stay was not as pleasant as last year. The room on the third floor only had one small skylight, so it was very dark. The breakfast was not good at all. Only apples for fresh fruit. And the hot foods were undercooked. However the room was clean, we enjoyed the spa, and the staff was friendly.

Stayed here for the second year while visiting friends nearby. Location is perfect for us and the place is decent. Rooms in the front building are pretty good, but a friend who stayed in the back building said they were horrible+ had a bad smell that triggered her allergies. Suites w/kitchens are small and only have fridge, microwave, 2 burners, +small table and chairs. This year, I got executive room instead since we didn't really use kitchen last year. Minifridge and microwave was more than enough. We sat on beds and chair to socialize. The rooms are clean with nice bathrooms: separate toilet/shower room with fan, 2 sinks. Beds were decent. AC worked well and had a quieter "sleep" mode. Windows opened enough to get some fresh air. Hot tub was HUGE and we enjoyed it despite the cloudy water and the sweltering air temp (I finally opened the window, which helped slightly). We tried the outdoor pool after being told it was heated (it was a chilly, overcast day). It was not heated that we tell and the water was quite cold. Last year, in the warm sunshine, it was fabulous. Breakfast is good with lots of variety and lots of room to sit. So, overall, a decent place to stay (though I think a bit overpriced for what and where it is). Lobby is a little dark and "tired" looking. They have this whole somewhat shabby "presidential" theme (it's the "White House" inn...get it??? Um, yeah, we got it, but we don't care). There's a life size cut out of the current president and paintings of presidents in the darkly carpeted and wallpapered lobby. Oh, and a selection of "inspirational" (translation: Christian) books for sale nearby. Now, as for the lounge, if you follow the maze behind the front desk that leads to the elevator and back building you will come to a stairwell that leads down to the lounge. The stairs are covered in plastic carpet runner and lined with old, dusty plastic flowers. When you get to the lounge itself, you realize that you should have saved the adjective "shabby" since this place makes the lobby look downright elegant! Since it's Maine, I don't know if the place is frequented by locals or the truck drivers from the Dysarts truck stop out front, but they are definitely "salt of the earth" kind of people. We didn't go this year, but after witnessomg a guy pass out while smoking and eventually fall off his barstool while the bartender got no support from her managers to help her kick him out, we saw everything we needed to.

From the moment we walked into the lobby of the hotel, it was a positive experience. The staff were accommodating and very pleasant. The "spin the wheel" game for a prize upon check in was a fun way to begin our stay. The room was clean, plenty of towels and pillows and I was impressed with the size of the room . A Keurig machine in the room was a plus. The lounge was comfortable and the barmaid was friendly and very helpful- going out of her way to copy directions for us and hand write special , helpful tips.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family... picked it due to the reviews and the location and the cost. It is an older property, but the lobby areas are clean. Our room on the main floor was comfortably large, 2 reading chairs. Not much drawer storage but there was a small refrigerator. Small but clean bathroom. Sink in main room area. Plenty of parking. Convenient to I95. Breakfast was not up to par with equal priced hotels we usually stay at, but one can walk to Dysarts next door... 24 hour "truck stop" with amazing "homemade" food... Overall a good stop for staying in the Bangor area.

We recently stayed at the Best Western White House Inn for 2 nights. We really enjoyed the White House theme and the photos/busts of former presidents/First Ladies and the cardboard cutout of the sitting president. We stayed in one of the themed suites, Wilderness Lodge, which was huge with a log frame king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and sitting area with gas logs. It was charming! It also offered a nice 42in flatscreen, under counter fridge & microwave! After a 25 mile bike ride, the heated pool followed by the very large indoor hot tub was great!!! No soreness the next day! Nice workout center; suite and hotel was exceptionally clean; breakfast buffet included and it was a step above most (even had a very fancy coffee machine to enjoy any type you could imagine, like cappuccino, macchiato, expresso, etc); hotel was conveniently located to downtown and close enough to Camden, Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor for day trips! It was our third stay there and definitely won't be our last!

Love the outdoor pool for the kids and and a great place if you are traveling with a dog as they have a nice area to walk your pets. Also love their breakfast and a short walk to a great truck stop, Dysart's, for dinner.

Wow! Lobby was so dark, I felt like they had forgotten to turn on the lights! The whole hotel, hallways, etc were dimly lighted. Greeted by a large cardboard cut out of Donald Trump. Thus the name of the hotel. Pictures of First Ladies in dimly lit 3rd floor hallway. Located next to Dysarts Cafe and truck stop. Trucks noisy one nite even though we were located on 3rd floor away from roadway. The ice maker for the 3rd floor was broken. Lounge downstairs was like a speakeasy, but bartender was great. Front desk staff cordial but did not go out of their way to offer suggestions for dining except Dysarts. Location had no views except for semis. Good point is that housekeeping was great and location is easy access to major highways, airport and downtown Bangor and surrounding area. Don't miss transportation museum! Fabulous!

Our family loved the White House theme at this hotel! Someone took the time to create walls on each floor with different presidential themes. We enjoyed reading about the First Ladies on our 3rd floor location. The value and location of this hotel is awesome. We stayed here and traveled to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport, Moosehead Lake and more. Each was at least an hour away. But this was a solid central spot for our travel itinerary.

We were staying in the area to visit Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and other local sites. We enjoy staying at Best Western hotels because we can count on our rooms consistently being very clean and a comfortable to rest after a day of travel. The Best Western White House was filled with interesting theme items in the lobby, dining room and along the hallways. The location right off the highway made it easily accessible as we traveled about. All staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome.

A motif that was an attempt at being the White House, after being explained. (After driving over 7 hrs, The most prominent thing in the lobby was a life size cut-out of Donald Trump. My first impression was to get back in the car and look for another place to stay.) My reservation was made months in advance without any indication of motif other than it was an older style building that was painted white. After the explanation of what they were trying to achieve, I calmed down enough to appreciate the renovation work they had done. Although set next to a truck stop, there was no indication of it and the stay was quite pleasant. The breakfast was a little more extensive that in most places and the service was very good.

The hotel is right off the highway. The staff is extremely nice. The breakfast is way more than continental The beds are better than mine at home. The bar is quint and appealing. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

I stayed here as a quick overnight from PEI back to Boston. The hotel was right off the highway, clean, comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer. I only took advantage of the room and the hot breakfast in the AM before hitting the road. I did see families using other amenities like the pool and the checkerboard table.

Sweet Hotel in a great location. Nice staff and comfortable rooms. Only improvement I could see would be to vacuum the elevators and around edges of areas better! Yes I'm picky but since the hotel was overall so clean it was noticeable. Our room was lovely. 3rd floor with a skylight. The only thing I wish I had noticed was that with the skylight you have no window that opens and I would rather have a bit of air instead of AC all night. Ours never shut off but if we turned it off it was too warm/stuff. Oh well - the comfy bed made up for it! The decor was pretty sweet. Like the White House (not that I've been invited to sleep there...yet). Pool is nice though highway noise does kill the relaxing vibe. It was warm and we had it to ourselves. Didn't try the hot tub area inside. Breakfast was better than most BWs I've been too. A LOT better. They have a lounge which I didn't try since one person in our party was under 21. Sad they couldn't serve food since Dysart's truck stop is right behind them. Decor was pretty neat except the creepy #45 cut out in the entrance. He's hiding the very nice bust of George Washington. I suppose others didn't like the last President in the lobby either. Perhaps they should go with 1st ladies instead! I'll be back. Thanks for the hospitality.

I love this hotel. Their beds are very comfortable; it looks and smells clean. The décor/color schemes are soothing and restful. I always get a wonderful sleep whenever I stay at this hotel. And it has a huge field out back (very huge, a hayfield) where I can walk our dogs. The breakfast is delicious, too, and included in the rate. My kids love the pool! There isn't a view but it is close enough to the highway, which is important to us when we travel.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. There is nothing to complain about. They had the best continental breakfast I have ever had. i took advantage of the outdoor pool and I enjoyed it so much I stayed a 2nd night.

This facility was very clean and had an extraordinary breakfast! The hot tub was an added plus! Staff was very friendly and hardworking. We were on the third floor and it was amazing their use of space....everything you need in the room! AC worked great! Would definitely stay here again! My only negative is that a cardboard statue of Trump greeted us in the lobby....not a fan, sorry!

My father and I did a road trip to Nova Scotia and back last week and given the length of the trip and the fact we had my dog with me, we stayed in 3 different hotels along the way. We were focused on places that would allow my dog, were comfortable and wouldn't break the bank. I booked a night at The Best Western White House based on Expedia and Trip Advisor reviews for value (and the fact they allow dogs) via Amex Travel. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk agent let me know that there were no dog rooms available (apparently there are just a certain amount of rooms in the hotel that pets are allowed). I was tired after a full day of driving and didn't want to deal with finding another place. Also, all the remaining hotels I had seen during my search were very expensive with a high fee to bring one's pet. The attendant (Chris) said he would help me find another place. Then he got a better idea and called a guest who had not arrived yet to see if the guest would like to be upgraded (to the room I had booked) and we could take their room (a pet room - but they weren't traveling with a pet). Had I been less tired, maybe I would have thought of that remedy, but I certainly didn't have the capacity at that moment. I was extremely grateful to Chris and his colleague Mo, for making it possible for us to stay. I had booked 2 other rooms via Amex travel at other locations without having a problem when I arrived with my dog, so I hadn't realized that some hotels have a limited allocated number of rooms. The ambience of the hotel is sort of from the 80s with phtoos/prints of presidents lining the hall and a cardboard life-size cutout of Donald Trump in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was ample. There is an outside pool and also a hot tub (I'm not sure if it's outside or inside). The hotel is right off the highway (highway noise but not if your windows are closed) and very close to some truck stops, etc. Location-wise it's great for getting on and off the interstate. On the other side of the hotel is a big field with round bails of hay. It's odd. If you look at one half of the hotel there is an almost idyllic view, but the other side is quite industrial and boisterous. It seemed like the perfect place for travelers with children who want to be able to unwind for the night and let their kids blow off steam in the pool. There were games for kids to play. The rooms were comfortable. Free wifi. Free breakfast. Nice employees. Great service. We actually ordered out from the restaurant at the truck stop on the other side of the road (essentially a truck stop diner). And considering what it was, the food was very good. Comfort food. Would I stay at the Best Western in Bangor again? Not if I wanted a centrally located hotel in the middle of Bangor attractions, no. But if I were just driving through and wanted a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay for the evening that allowed my pup, and had a free breakfast, pool, games, internet, etc. Yes, definitely. This is a very good value with really nice folks working there. And the pet fee was only $10 compared to the Marriott Residence Inn $100 fee. Kudos to Chris and Mo for helping us out in a pinch. Much appreciated.

We stayed at the BW and can't recommend it to other travelers. We arrived fairly late and there was a very small sign indicating that a rear door was the entrance (the main doors and parking lot were blocked off because of construction.) That made arrival more difficult. The hotel, hallways, and our room looked "tired." The A/C in our room worked poorly and the room was uncomfortably hot. On the plus side, I complained about the A/C and the Desk Clerk, Beth adjusted our bill, which I appreciated. Also, the breakfast area is bright and has lots of room.

Noisy by highway. Liked being able to open the window, but was only quiet at midnight. Traffic noise came through AC too. Nice breakfast selection, including cappuccino machine. There is a karaoke bar in the basement.

I would recommend staying at the white house inn in Bangor Me clean , friendly and over all best stay anywhere breakfast was awesome with many choices too choice from. Pool clean and hot tub was the best

I knew it was great when we pulled up and it had a portico. Then we go inside and there is a life size cut out of Donald Trump. Of course we took a selfie with it. It's decorated nicely. There's a sitting room with games and books and the swimming pool is very large. The wifi was good and the breakfast was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We've stayed at the Whitehouse Inn several times, but not in the last 3 years so I decided it was time to re-evaluate the hotel. The result: No change. The Whitehouse Inn is the finest BW hotel we've had the pleasure of staying in. It's clean and friendly...bery clean and friendly. We like the fact it borders a farm field in which we are allowed to walk about. The breakfast is better than "normal" motel fare and view from the dining room is quite nice. The hotel takes up its name with gusto: The corridors are lined with pictures of each American President. I listened to a father pointing to a president and giving his son a brief history lesson. How cool1 Finally, they have a very honest staff. My wife left here "diamond" neckless in the room and the cleaning staff turned it in. It is in fact a zirconium stone, but they culdn't have known. I was quite impressed...Good work to the staff and management of Whitehouse Inn!!!

Stayed here overnight. This hotel is behind a large truckstop and a decent diner-dysart's When we stayed here the main front entrance was closed due to placing new asphalt in the front area. There was a door open in the back. There is also a lounge downstairs. When we checked in, we noticed this man in the walking around in the common area of near the back door. We assumed he was there from the lounge area. He was there when we went to late dinner. Upon our return he was still there and just before we were to go upstairs, we saw him curl up on the couch. we then walked around to the front to talk to the desk clerks who were alerted to this man and were going out to talk to him. In those few minutes --from the time we saw him and the time it took for the clerks to come out- he was unresponsive and they had to call the police and he was taken out by them. When we went to our room we were concerned for security of the hotel as the back door down stairs was open. So we called down and was told they had a camera there and could watch. Obviously they were not watching all the time this man paced that area. Our actual room was fine and the mattresses were not too bad. the breakfast was fine-typical. This hotel is right off the Route 95 which makes it convenient if traveling from that area. There is also a gas station which seems to be part of the truck stop. It is full service at self service prices--even washed our windshield.

From the great staff, amazing breakfast, pool and overall decor, this place was so great for a family stay. It was clean and every amenity available for use. Staff was helpful in advice on local attractions to enjoy.

It's an older hotel but beds were very comfortable with lots of comfortable pillows. Furniture a bit dated but room was very clean and quite large. There were lots of families swimming when we arrived, and we discovered a hot tub and an exercise room as well. Breakfast was the star of the day. The room is large enough for 10 round top tables. There were waffles, hard boiled eggs, cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, pork sausages, corned beef hash, biscuits, and baked beans, plus several kinds of herbal tea, regular tea, coffee and what appeared to be a latte maker (I don't drink coffee). Although it's near I-95, the room was very quiet. 4 stars because the rooms are a bit dated but we would happiy stay here again. It's 6 miles from the airport, an 8 minute drive early in the morning.

The hotel was surprisingly large as the building had many wings. There was an outdoor pool that looked very clean and was actively used by other guests. The hot breakfast offered a variety of items and there were ample tables for the guests. i stayed here because it was pet friendly and was at a convenient location just off of I-95. The diner at the adjacent gas station/truck stop was within walking distance and was excellent.

room was great good location for me when i travel internet works well all the times i have been there and the fresh oatmeal raisin cookies they have at the front desk keep me coming back and the exercise room is great richard k

The room was really comfortable and my vegan daughter was pleased to find milk alternatives available at breakfast. I a little more fresh fruit for breakfast would have been nice but there were lots of choices.

Located about an hour away from Acadia National Park and just a few minutes from Stephen King's house in Bangor, Maine this hotel is one of the better ones we have stayed in during our summer family road trip in the northeast. The hotel is rather large and white, thus the name "White House Inn". They play on this theme and have presidential items throughout the hotel. There are busts of presidents, books about presidents on the shelves and pictures of almost every president on the walls of the 1st floor hallway (President Trump has not been added yet). The rooms are pretty standard for a Best Western. I thought the bed and the pillows were comfortable. I sat for a while at the table and chair in the room and worked on the computer and I had no complaints. The breakfast spread was the best of our trip so far. Plenty of room, more variety of foods and a very attentive attendant. In fact, every employee we encountered at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the outside doors are not keyed to the room key - they are locked up late in the evening (11 PM, I think).

This Best Western provides everything a person expects in a motel. Checkin was very efficient and check out was even better. The room is spacious with 2 big lounge type chairs. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Love the fact the motel is pet friendly as we travel with a small dog. The room was also very clean and well kept. The only thing is it is starting to show its age but is well maintained. It is a little distance from town but the plus side is Dysarts (truck stop) which is a very good restaurant with excellent pies. This is walking distance from the motel. We have stayed here before and were not disappointed with our second visit. This is still our choice motel in Bangor.

Without much time off had a getaway mid-week and stayed at the Best Western Bangor - White House. Not our first stay and probably won't be our last. Quiet, comfortable and treated superbly. Although it appears like it would be noisy because of the proximity to the large truck-stop but that was never the case.

We found their staff to be extremely helpful when checking in, which was quick and very efficient. The room was extremely clean . Breakfast was provided with an extremely nice selection of items. Loved the photo gallery of all the presidents, and the stand up life size photo of President Trump near the fireplace in the lobby!

This place has a fun & unique presidential theme & very friendly staff. They were especially nice to us as Best Western Rewards members. The nearby Dysart's Restaurant was good. Breakfast at this property was very good.

We went to this hotel to get away close by and celebrate our 26th Anniversary. We stayed in the Romance Suite, and it was just beautiful! It reminded me of a beautiful loft apartment with every luxury you could want. The heart-shaped whirlpool tub was my favorite thing! The two-person shower was amazing, too! Customer service was good, and everyone was helpful. Breakfast was more than what I expected, and a nice surprise.

From the time we came through the door, the whole experience was great! The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was very helpful and courteous. He explained about all the amenities and the hot breakfast that was included. The breakfast had everything we wanted. We also have a pet and really appreciated the run that you made in the large field...he was really able to "blow off some steam"!

Bed was comfortable and room was quite good place to stay when catching an early Greyhound bus, less than 300 feet to bus depot. Would stay again should the need arise. They also have the truckers restaurant that delivers to room which worked out great because I was to tired to go out and eat. Food is good and simple.

We spent one night at the Best Western White House Inn and will definitely be back! Large rooms; very comfortable beds; extremely clean. Every staff person we interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable and so friendly! The hot tub room was huge and a welcome reprieve after a long day on the road. And then the next morning, we went down for our "continental" breakfast which is included in the price and boy, were we surprised! A full hot breakfast with a large variety to choose from was awaiting us! Not at all what we consider a continental breakfast. And a special mention to the women who were keeping the food going in that room - everything was kept fresh, filled and hot and with a smile and lots of patience! This hotel was a real find for us and we highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay this past week. The room was nicer than expected - we were given a room with the two king beds. I have never stayed in a room with two king beds - there was plenty of room (huge TV too). If in the area again I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was a very pleasant start to my Maine trip. We got in quite late after a long day of travel and the hotel was easy to find from the airport. At check-in, we were referred to the 24-hr truck stop for a surprisingly tasty meal. Tidy room and friendly staff. Breakfast was not the best I have had at a BW, but overall - recommended.

Room was clean, pleasant staff and location was great too. We really do not have much more to say for we do recommend this property. The hot breakfast was very nice and had the amenities that we needed.

Had a great stay ! It was clean and comfortable ! The whirl pool was nice . Never really got chance to use the pool , but it looked clean . The path through the field was pretty . The breakfast was ok . It had a good selection of food . It was your typical continental breakfast. We came here on a visit to unity college . We stayed for 5 nights . It was an easy 30 minute drive to the college . We also went to Bar Harbor and several other costal towns . We had great visit to Maine . I wasn't to impressed with Bangor to be honest though. I was glad that this hotel was located out of the city. I guess to be honest though I'm not much of city person. It was easy to get around to the different towns in Maine from this hotel. Maine is a wonderful state .

What's not to love?? Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, I enjoy staying here and look forward to my stays. Cookies, full breakfast, I have stayed here at least 4 times in a year and never been disappointed.

We were happy to find a dog-friendly hotel at a very reasonable price. The hotel is average in terms of appearance and amenities, but it was a great value. The only drawback is there is no restaurant on site, but Dysart's is only steps away.

went north to see family and friends. Also shore and the beautiful scenery in northern Maine. We like to find best Western because it served our needs well one of our needs is our dog Marley. One of the best Westerns was the White House inn in Maine sweet place and a great breakfast. Easy in and out and very friendly people. Put it in my phone to remember

Hotel staff very helpful, restaurant a short walk away, room attractive and very comfortable. The bar in the hotel is great. Relatively convenient to the airport. Hotel gave us a cab number - on time and got us to the airport in short time. Would recommend.

This Inn had all the amenities of a larger hotel combined with the kindness and personal attention of a small town neighborly feel. The staff were so helpful and accommodating that they make our stay feel like we were at home. We wold definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

It is clean and nice the staff is are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The shower has great pressure, beds are comfortable the TV is huge and the Internet is fast. The breakfast is really nice with a pancake and waffle maker, hot food (bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, eggs etc) on a steam table that is well managed to ensure the food is fresh.

1st floor room, large, nice furnishings, good view, refriderator, microwave, all the normal amenaties, friendly service, excellemt breakfasts, nice outdoor pool and indoor hot tub and exercise room, parking ok

Comfortable very clean. Decor was fabulous. All the presidents were represented. I was impressed with all of the wood carvings. Will stay in this hotel again when I am in the area. Staff was easy to talk to and very friendly.

What a super place.The room was very nice and the breakfast was great. The hall where our room was located had a president theme. The was an outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub. We ate at the truck stop in back of the motel and the food was homemade and delicious. The motel was about an hour away from Acadia National Park. We gladly stayed here because the price was lower then the park . We got a much better value by staying inBangor.

From the moment we were greeted to the check out, we had one of the best stays at a hotel. The hot tub was really nice with a mini waterfall and the outdoor pool was heated and well lit for swimming at night. For members they had a promo spin wheel, cookies and juice were also available upon arrival. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, they had so many options to chose from and the staff was very friendly.

We arrived at the hotel at almost midnight. The kind gentleman at the desk opened the snack shop in the lobby to allow us to get a little to eat, even though it had been closed for a couple of hours. Our room was very clean. Loved the White House theme! Really enjoyed our stay!

The idea of a themed hotel of Presidents was great. People were having fun taking pictures with the full size cut out in the lobby of Trump. The staff on the front desk and housekeeping were extremely pleasant. I had asked for a quiet room when booking and again upon arriving. The fellow at the front desk said the room he was giving me on the other side of the highway would fit the bill. It was very noisy when we got to our room but it was rush hour - we thought it would quieten overnight, which it did but even with ear plugs and a sleeping pill I barely slept. On top of that, the air conditioning unit under the window was loud and we had to turn it off totally and lay on top of the covers as it was so warm. As well, the side of the hotel I was on is close to where about 30 transport trucks were parked and some idling. I don't recall hearing any noise from them through the night though. The upside of this stay was the Dysart Truck Stop within walking distance of the hotel. Great food and truck theme decor. Wouldn't stay here again but just because of the noise level - if that won't bother you, a fun place to stay.

Had a very pleasant check in, this hotel has some really neat presidential memorabelia. The room was clean and the A/C already running on a super hot day inJune. Wifi was fast and streamed well. The only downside was that the shower spray was not very good, but that could be easily remedied.

A very interesting hotel resembling the white house with pictures of all the Presidents. Rooms are richly decorated accordingly. Excellent eating area for breakfast with spacious seating and a large selection of breakfast items to eat. Room was noted to be very comfortable. Only downside was the Kuerig coffee maker did not work in our room and we reported it to the management the next day.

Checkin was easy. Rooms clean, big selection of foods for breakfast. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Stayed for one night only. Check out was just as easy as checking in. Staff was polite. Would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with historical theme . Quiet, charming with all kind of references to the US constitution and political history through. Breakfast included more items than usual . Staff was friendly. Overall great value for the price.

We used the event space for my best friends baby shower. The space is the same room where breakfast is served and its very nice. Clean, affordable, and seats about 45 people! The staff was very friendly and helpful with little things like extra trash bags.Thank you!

Loved the furniture in the lobby and the rooms. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel. Lots of choices! Omelettes, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, beans, pancakes & waffles with 5 different toppings, breads, cereals, fruit, yogurts, biscuits w/ sausage gravy and coffe & juices. Wow! We really enjoyed the large hot tub, but didn't check out the outside heated pool.

I met a friend who travels down from northern Maine and Bangor is our halfway point at White House Inn. We had rooms on the third floor and found them to be clean and well stocks. I guess my only complaint would be that the room had no windows, only a skylight with a reachable shade. But it's not really a complaint, just unexpected. We loved the gym and hot tub and used it all three days. The breakfast was not great. There were lots of choices, but the meats and eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The waffle mix, fruits, coffee, and juice were good. I would go back here again and found it to be an easy place to get in and out of to enjoy things around town. I tried to book a room here for a concert I'm attending in July and it was already full.

This place was top notch from A to Z. Super clean, spacious, tasteful. Best hotel breakfast I have ever had, by far. Three different egg dishes, waffles, bacon, sausage and biscuits, and much, much more. I would definitely stay again if I am anywhere in the area.

We stayed in the Captain Lafayette Suite for the weekend and it is absolutely beautiful. The room is very large with a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, a amazingly comfortable bed and large granite shower big enough to have a party in! The staff is very friendly and bends over backwards to see to your ever need. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with tons of selections. It is close to Bangor without being right down town and it is easy to get to right off I-95.

We had a two-night stay for graduation with extended family, thus multiple rooms. They kept the rooms together and were very accommodating to all of our needs. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff very friendly and helpful.

This trip was last minute. We stopped in Bangor on our way to Canada. We stopped in at Dysarts to eat and asked for the best place to stay. They recommended the Best Western behind them. It was late and we could not drive any further for the night. The hotel was wondrful and we got a good nights sleep. We started in the morning refreshed and ready to go. Well worth it and we will be back. It was also interesting as they had all the presidents pictures up throughout the halls. Nice touch

This hotel is themed perfectly. One floor with photos of presidents in the hallway and another floor with their wives. Very cosy, warm and classy interior decoration. The staff is friendly. Not all rooms are soundproofed to the latest technical possibilities. The hotel is not in the Bangor central city area, but that is within minutes distance by car.

I expect a good value from Best Western hotels: price not to high, rooms clean and completely functional, few frills, reasonable breakfast, friendly staff. The Bangor White House Inn was a cut above across the board. It was surprisingly quiet in my room, though close to Rt. 95. And, it was a short walk to Dysarts, a famous truckstop with a family-friendly destination restaurant, well-know throughout Maine for its food and especially its desserts.

The room was quite comfy and a good size. The TV was big and under it was the microwave and refrigerator. Coffee and tea maker in the room as well. WiFi was OK as was the shower. Parking and unloading was a breeze. The breakfast was excellent. They also have a fun lounge where everyone has always been friendly. They also have a little Jacuzzi and workout room.

The room was clean and the décor was fresh and cozy.We appreciated being able to bring our family dog. We also especially loved the antique furniture at the desk area. According to the attendant, the bathroom in our room is scheduled for an update soon.

Excellent service, clean rooms, and nice people! Perfect place to have small business meetings. They have one of the best free breakfast that I have ever had. Every aspect of the place was clean and well organized.

We were looking for a place a short distance from home to get away for One night to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary.. The Theme was the perfect place. Once inside the room you felt like you were in a luxury cabin in the woods. We loved it. Staff was awesome. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay at the White House Inn. It was easy to get to has a nice restaurant to go to by walking and found everything clean and confortable. The breakfast was very nice seem to have everything you might want. Dining room was very cosy and comfortable.

Stayed in a suite that was very clean and cozy. Super nice modern bathroom. Had a cozy fireplace. Really nice hot breakfast I very clean dining area. It is conveniently located right off the highway. It is easy to get in and out of and find your way to Bangor. Very quiet.

After a 2 week vacation of staying in hotels, I am glad our last night was with Best Western White House Inn, Bangor, Maine. With a helpful staff, nice room and comfortable bed was what we needed to finish our wonderful trip in the US Of A. Im still bragging the breakfast we had at Best Westen White House Inn. Loved the Décor, pic. of past presidents, and had taken some fun pictures with the life size cardboard image of President Trump. If we ever cross the border again, from Canada the US, I would definitely stay at Best Western House Inn.

We stay here every spring on our way home to Nova Scotia from Florida. It is pet friendly, super easy access off I-95, lovely upgraded rooms, excellent breakfast with tons of choices and located beside famous Dysart's Truck stop. Easy access to all of Bangor shopping too.

Very friendly! Clean, spacious and close to Bangor. Internet strong, breakfast room outstanding! If you like to gamble Hollywood Slots only 10 minutes away. Great restaurant (Dysarts) right next door. You can walk.

The White House Inn was familiar to us from past visits. The Inn has had a major make over in refurbishing the rooms and breakfast fare. The staff were excellent in every way from the front desk to the lounge. Congratulations to the BW White House inn. Easily accessible via exit 180 on 95 N and 95 S it is also situated near restaurants and service stations. Ideal location for the traveler.

The room was good size for a stay of 4 nites. Loved the breakfast - could always find something I liked to eat. We enjoyed the bar one nite---Kate the bartender was great.. It was a convenient location off Rt. 95.

Enjoyed our stay other then there being no cold water. It was a very hot shower. If they could correct that issue, I would rate them a 4. :) The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at many Best Western hotels. The by far is the best one yet! I cannot find anything negative about this hotel. Staff are amazing and go above and beyond my expectations! Best Western is a great chain of hotels. Always clean and dependable however this one is very unique. It's been renovated over the years and has an unusual layout which just adds character. Here at prices too! Breakfast is included! All 3 days we were unable to eat lunch (which saves a lot) due to the full breakfast available. I can't say enough about this hotel. You won't be disappointed!!

This BW is close to the I-95 and convienent to access. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. We were well received at the front desk, and felt very welcome. This is a pet friendly BW which we appreciate since we travel with our cat. The breakfast was one of the best, with lots of options. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in BW properties for every night of our 13 day USA road trip and this hotel was by far the best value for money out of all the properties. Just as important, I am a Best Western Rewards member and I was getting tired of asking for a room upgrade, asking for a goody bag or the points, as my understanding was that this was all supposed to be automatic as part of the check-in process for a rewards member.. Well this was the only BW hotel of the 9 during our stay where it all was automatic. The front desk staff welcomed me back to Best Western at check in, provided me with a room upgrade, and asked if I preferred a goody bag or alternatively 500 points. Such a pleasant change. Thanks to the staff for doing that. Also at breakfast the next morning was one of the best of the trip. It had the widest selection, everything was fresh and well laid out, and they had a variety of foods not provided by other BW hotels.

Hot tub was large, comfortable and very relaxing. Our room was large, didn't give you that claustrophobic feeling. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options. Staff was very accommodating. Plus, its walking distance from the classic restaurant, Dysarts.

Another great stay as always. Clean rooms, great staff. great breakfast. It's like coming to my second home. Never long enough. Can't wait to go back again. Thanks to the staff for always taking great care of us.

The staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is ok. This is one of the most important pluses. However they need to improve the quality of their breakfast. Also if you want a quiet room ask for a room away from the constant traffic. Prices are very reasonable especially offseason and mid-week.

A little pricy and not a lot of healthy choices at the breakfast buffet but food is good. Room is tidy and cozy. Our room has a skylight no window. Fridge won't fit a single togo box. Annoying for a long stay. Laundry room is clean and lockable so you don't have to babysit it. Fittness room is clean and nice so is the whirlpool. Family friendly too. Amy our maid was very nice, Mo is the best front desk guy ever. Carry another maid was super helpful finding stuff close by for my kids to do. Staff really makes this place awesome. The room is pretty small and atypical of hotels. The coffee machine only does one cup at a time I am a caffeine addict so this bothers me. No major issues I think I am just sick of waiting for my house to be ready.

They understand customer service, reasonable price, very clean, all the amenities you would need. Comfortable bed, good shower (what else is really important). Breakfast was ok, coffee better than usual and a Keurig in the room.

Recently stayed here for a business trip to Bangor. Great location and easy commute into the city, yet the hotel is right on the highway so the noise level is up there. They offer a free breakfast in the morning which included what would be expected from a free breakfast - lowered quality foods but still, it's free! The staff was extremely helpful and able to answer all questions and made the stay very comfortable and easy. Would stay here again.

Always a great stay, great staff and the cleanest rooms. Never stay anywhere else. Best place to stay in Maine. If you forget anything they will give it to you. Best continental breakfast. Nice swimming pool in the summer and a little in door one to. Great location to. Close to everything but yet far away from the noise. It's like going to a family members house to stay.

Close access to the I95 freeway and easy access to shopping. Would not have been the place I usually stay but it was Veterans Day weekend and things were really booked up. However it was clean and quiet the breakfast was pretty good. The room we had was on the third floor and it only had a sky light in it no windows which was odd. There is a truckstop next door if you needed a meal at any time of the day. It was fine and the price was pretty fair overal.

Used air miles to book our stay here. It wasn't as close to the malls as other places I stayed but it was nice. We found an odd smell in the elevator & hall ways (carpet?). Our room had two nice size beds & a few mints to snack on. The hot tub was wonderful & breakfast was a great selection. We were on the second floor & found it quite loud throughout night & morning (we think there was a family above us, & it sounded like the kids were running back and fourth the entire time).

My husband and I have stayed at the White House Inn several times and have always had a great vacation! Its not too far off the beaten track, only 5 miles from the Bangor Mall shopping area. the rooms are clean and comfortable (I love it when the sink is outside of the toilet/shower room), the beds and pillows are probably some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The hot breakfast is a definite benefit. We will always stay at this facility when travelling to Bangor.

Wilderness King Suite: We will definitely be back! This was our best stay in Maine. Great servive and clean room - the only thing missed was our diamond level gift at check in and would like to see upgraded amenities in toiletries. Room was clean, quiet and secluded. Massage chair was a nice touch after a day of travel. Also loved the wood floor for sanitation and character. Great themed room. The scent of wood in the air was fabulous. Our 3rd best BW stay ever, with a lot of years and a lot of stays!

The hotel is not right in Bangor but a bit of the highway which was very convenient for us. We did not have a reservation and were having trouble finding a vacancy and felt like we hit the jackpot with this place. The exterior does resemble the white house and lobby was very attractive. The gentlemen who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. The only rooms left were their theme rooms which all have large hot tubs which we were too tired too enjoy. We chose to stay in the presidential suite. It was very spacious,had beautiful furnishings and also some very clever "presidential" touches. A nice breakfast is included.

Avoids the prices of the hotels right on the mall strip. It's 6 miles away from the Shopping area but it's right off the highway and easy to find. And you get a nice little price savings for that. Top grade continental breakfast too. One of the best free hotel breakfasts I've had. Only knock would be the noise level, I think the walls are a bit thin - but we were right at the entrance and there was a woman's soccer team staying as well, so both of those are probably attributive to that.
